- 0:31Speaker 2: She went back in the house. I put on real shoes.
- 0:34Speaker 4: I pushed my foot into the break, you know, to
- 0:37Speaker 4: back up. But I went, this feels squishy, and I went, oh,
- 0:40Speaker 4: house shoes.
- 0:41Speaker 3: Tang it? Well, you had that.
- 0:43Speaker 5: I had a guy standing in the driveway of my
- 0:46Speaker 5: neighbor's house, just standing there staring at the house.
- 0:48Speaker 2: At like four o'clock this morning.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Yes, I was trying to leave, and I went, this
- 0:52Speaker 3: is creepy. Nobody lives in the house.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Was he wearing a mask or anything?
- 0:56Speaker 3: I don't know. It was like a shadow.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Did you lock your door?
- 0:59Speaker 3: Yeah? My door? You how scary that was? And then
- 1:02Speaker 3: a mile up the road.
- 1:03Speaker 5: An ambulance is sitting in the middle of the road
- 1:05Speaker 5: with the driver on ten and two just staring out
- 1:08Speaker 5: the window with the lights on.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Is it Friday? The thirteenth. No, that's Friday twenty first.
- 1:13Speaker 5: It was a weird morning for me. And then a
- 1:15Speaker 5: mile up the road a couple sitting there doing the
- 1:18Speaker 5: same thing the ambulance was doing. It's been a weird
- 1:21Speaker 5: morning for me.
- 1:22Speaker 4: I'm glad we made this story about me. About you.
- 1:25Speaker 3: You brought up shoes, I brought up a horror story.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Away, Good morning, thank you for being here. Happy Friday.

- 1:33Speaker 4: Eight three three five h one Bama is the number?
- 1:36Speaker 2: Good morning, It's what the hell headlines? What the hell
- 1:40Speaker 2: are you talking about?
- 1:41Speaker 1: On the Alabama Show.
- 1:44Speaker 4: Police are looking for a man wearing a chucky mask
- 1:47Speaker 4: and terrorizing people.
- 1:48Speaker 3: In the community. Why how's he terrorizing people?
- 1:53Speaker 4: Well, one of the things he did this happened in Philadelphia.
- 1:55Speaker 4: The man is between sixteen and twenty years old. He's
- 1:58Speaker 4: running up to people who are in downtown Philly with
- 2:01Speaker 4: his phone video taping it.
- 2:03Speaker 2: And so he was chasing one woman.
- 2:05Speaker 4: Who was jogging at five point thirty am, wearing this
- 2:09Speaker 4: mask and saying are you ready to die?
- 2:11Speaker 2: So the woman screamed terrified.
- 2:14Speaker 3: That is awful.
- 2:15Speaker 2: That is scared.
- 2:16Speaker 3: That scares me over here.
- 2:17Speaker 4: I know if anybody was doing that to me. Anyway,
- 2:19Speaker 4: he got away and ran like underground through a rail
- 2:22Speaker 4: station and they are looking for him.
- 2:25Speaker 6: Currently, why Super Easy Trivia with the Yellabama Shaw eight three.
- 2:32Speaker 4: Thirty five I one Bama is the number to call
- 2:34Speaker 4: the show, Jessica, Good morning.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Where are you calling from?
- 2:37Speaker 5: I'm Moody, Alabama.
- 2:38Speaker 2: Oh girl, house traffic and Moody.
- 2:41Speaker 6: It's not bad.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Just early. Have you been to the new Ace didn't
- 2:45Speaker 2: y'all just get a new Ace hardware?
- 2:46Speaker 3: Yes?
- 2:47Speaker 2: I have not been by there yet. I have heard
- 2:49Speaker 2: it is awesome. I need to stop by there. Awesome. Jessica.
- 2:54Speaker 4: Are you calling to play Super Easy Trivia to win
- 2:56Speaker 4: these tickets to Benson Booe? Yeah? All right, We're going
- 3:00Speaker 4: to play are you smarter than Producer Blake? So I'm
- 3:03Speaker 4: going to ask the question, use your name as your buzzer.
- 3:06Speaker 4: Don't wait to say the answer. Say the answer as
- 3:08Speaker 4: soon as you say your name, because producer Blake will cheat.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Will not cheat? Okay?
- 3:15Speaker 4: Question number one, what is the capital of the United
- 3:18Speaker 4: States of America?
- 3:19Speaker 3: Preticier Blake, Washington, d C. This is lame.
- 3:26Speaker 4: Next one, what is a group of dolphins called?
- 3:29Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Come on, Jessica, Thank Todd, Thank Todd. Go Oh gosh,
- 3:41Speaker 2: I'm not sure did you say pod? I think I
- 3:44Speaker 2: heard you just say good job, Jessica. I heard that too.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Last one for the wind. What do we use to
- 3:55Speaker 2: measure temperature? Say the word, Jessica. Yes, Jessica, I heard
- 4:04Speaker 2: you say thermometer and nobody else in this room say that.
- 4:07Speaker 7: Congratulations, Congratulations, you won super easy trivia.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Yay, it's three things you need to know you with
- 4:25Speaker 1: the Alabama Show.
- 4:26Speaker 4: For the very first time in more than five decades,
- 4:29Speaker 4: the third Saturday in October is going to have both
- 4:31Speaker 4: Orange and Crimson on the field.
- 4:33Speaker 2: This week, Alabama and Tennessee.
- 4:35Speaker 4: Announced an agreement for both teams to wear their home
- 4:38Speaker 4: jerseys for the annual rivalry game in twenty twenty six
- 4:41Speaker 4: and twenty seven, which means Alabama is going to wear
- 4:45Speaker 4: their crimson jersey in Knoxville, Tennessee this season.
- 4:49Speaker 2: The announcement was on Alabama social media.
- 4:51Speaker 4: It's really cool because they're showing vintage clips of the
- 4:54Speaker 4: teams playing against each other and it's just really cool.
- 4:56Speaker 4: So I'd go follow Alabama football on a Instagram and
- 5:00Speaker 4: watch that. Swifties think that Taylor Swift is about to
- 5:03Speaker 4: announce a new project. Artwork for Taylor Swift is popping
- 5:07Speaker 4: up that's bright green with the TS. The Empire State
- 5:10Speaker 4: Building shared a photo of the building lit up green
- 5:12Speaker 4: and then the caption said, what's happening. But TS was
- 5:15Speaker 4: capitalized and everything else is lowercase, and fans are like
- 5:18Speaker 4: TS is Taylor Swift's initials. There's no confirmation the Taylor
- 5:23Speaker 4: Swift is doing anything, but fans are convinced. And it
- 5:26Speaker 4: would make sense in New York because she just got
- 5:28Speaker 4: married in New York, So maybe it's wedding footage.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Who knows.
- 5:32Speaker 4: There's a new version of chat GPT that's designed for teenagers,
- 5:36Speaker 4: the first generation to grow up with AI who are
- 5:38Speaker 4: already using it for school, questions about daily life and.
- 5:42Speaker 2: So much more.
- 5:42Speaker 4: So chat GPT for teens. It's going to be tailored
- 5:44Speaker 4: for kids thirteen to seventeen with stronger protections, including content
- 5:49Speaker 4: restrictions around things like self harm and romantic chat. And
- 5:52Speaker 4: it also gives homework and studies support that's designed to
- 5:56Speaker 4: help students learn instead of just giving them the answers.
- 5:59Speaker 4: So there is a new version of chat GPT that's
- 6:01Speaker 4: coming out for your tanes if they're using it. That's
- 6:04Speaker 4: three things you need to know. More at the Alabama
- 6:07Speaker 4: Show dot com The Alabama.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Show onto me. It's free on the iHeartRadio app.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Good Morning, Libby. What's your issue for Ask Alabama?
- 6:16Speaker 8: I asked my friend to move out because she keeps
- 6:18Speaker 8: bringing strangers into my apartment.
- 6:21Speaker 4: Oh that is why we do ask Alabama. If you
- 6:24Speaker 4: ever have an issue, we try our best to help
- 6:26Speaker 4: you out, and if we can't, people will call and
- 6:29Speaker 4: give you advice.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Eight three three five y Bama is the number to
- 6:32Speaker 2: call the show. What is going on with you and
- 6:35Speaker 2: your friend?
- 6:35Speaker 8: So about three months ago, my friend and her boyfriend
- 6:39Speaker 8: broke up, okay, and I told her she could move
- 6:42Speaker 8: into nice bare bedroom for a few months until she
- 6:45Speaker 8: got on her feet.
- 6:46Speaker 2: All right, that was nice.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:48Speaker 8: Before she moved in, I just had two rules. Don't
- 6:51Speaker 8: smoke inside and please ask me before bringing people.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Over, okay, And she was fine with that.
- 6:58Speaker 8: Yeah, she agreed, and the first few weeks were fine,
- 7:03Speaker 8: and then she started bringing people over.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Okay.
- 7:06Speaker 8: Then I started coming home and there would be people
- 7:08Speaker 8: standing in my living room that I didn't even know.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Oh hell yeah.
- 7:12Speaker 8: It was super weird and then one night, I woke
- 7:15Speaker 8: up at two am and there was like a noise
- 7:18Speaker 8: coming from the kitchen and I went in there and
- 7:21Speaker 8: there was this random guy just standing there that I've
- 7:24Speaker 8: never even met, and it was just like that was
- 7:29Speaker 8: enough for me.
- 7:30Speaker 2: So I asked her to move out.
- 7:32Speaker 8: And now she's upset, saying that I'm trying to be
- 7:34Speaker 8: her mom, but I just don't like random people in
- 7:37Speaker 8: my house and it's my house.
- 7:40Speaker 4: Let's say, if I can get some advice for you,
- 7:41Speaker 4: call the show. Have you ever lived with somebody? And
- 7:44Speaker 4: what did you do when they started bringing strangers to
- 7:47Speaker 4: where you all live?
- 7:48Speaker 2: If it's a shared space? Eight three thirty five I
- 7:50Speaker 2: wan Bama is the number.
- 7:52Speaker 4: That's eight three thirty five I one two two six
- 7:54Speaker 4: two yell.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Obama show on demand free on the iHeartRadio app.
- 8:00Speaker 4: Eight thirty five A one Bama is the number to
- 8:02Speaker 4: call this show. We just had a call her who
- 8:03Speaker 4: had to kick her friend out who was bringing strangers
- 8:06Speaker 4: to the house after she asked her not to Michelle,
- 8:09Speaker 4: good morning.
- 8:10Speaker 2: Have you ever had to kick anybody out?
- 8:12Speaker 4: I have.
- 8:13Speaker 9: But the thing is I was asking was with her,
- 8:16Speaker 9: is if their friend is paying rent? Because it's kind
- 8:19Speaker 9: of like that changes from a friend to more of
- 8:21Speaker 9: a roommate situation, and she would have to like, like, respectfully,
- 8:26Speaker 9: she should tell her if she has somebody over, but
- 8:29Speaker 9: if she's paying rent, it kind of makes her more
- 8:31Speaker 9: of a such a different situation. But yeah, I've had
- 8:34Speaker 9: a I've had to kick out people and it's very
- 8:36Speaker 9: uncomfortable and you become like they're no longer friends.
- 8:39Speaker 2: What did you have times that?
- 8:40Speaker 7: What happened?
- 8:41Speaker 2: What do you have to kick a person out for?
- 8:43Speaker 2: They destroyed my house with what?
- 8:45Speaker 9: Like? How they took all my doors off, molding down. Yeah,
- 8:50Speaker 9: and when they moved out, they took a washer and dryer,
- 8:53Speaker 9: my fridge.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Hang on, why why did they take all the doors off?
- 8:58Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 9:00Speaker 9: They were living there in paying rent, but I was
- 9:04Speaker 9: having to rent a house for double what they were paying,
- 9:07Speaker 9: and so I told them, I said, after three years
- 9:08Speaker 9: of living there, I told them, you know, y'all need
- 9:10Speaker 9: to either get the mortgage in your name or move out.
- 9:14Speaker 9: Until they got mad at me.
- 9:17Speaker 2: That's yeah, wild, Well, thank you for your call. Sorry
- 9:22Speaker 2: went for that. Don't ever do business with friends again,
- 9:25Speaker 2: right right, it's what the hell headlines? What the hell
- 9:30Speaker 2: are you talking about on.
- 9:31Speaker 4: The Alabama Show there's an Army unit offering troops that
- 9:37Speaker 4: re enlist four days off to play Grand Theft Auto.
- 9:40Speaker 2: What the hell that is deserved?
- 9:43Speaker 3: And honestly, I'm for it. I'm for this.
- 9:45Speaker 2: A Georgia Army unit is offering this.
- 9:48Speaker 4: Fort Stewart's ninth Grade Engineering Battalion is dangling the gaming pass.
- 9:53Speaker 4: So because it's the new one that's coming out, Grand
- 9:56Speaker 4: Theft Auto.
- 9:57Speaker 3: It's coming out in November.
- 9:58Speaker 9: Yep.
- 9:59Speaker 4: Yeah, So the soldiers have already signed up with roughly
- 10:02Speaker 4: one hundred and thirty troops eligible.
- 10:04Speaker 2: So if they commit to at least two more.
- 10:05Speaker 4: Years of service, they'll get four days off to play
- 10:09Speaker 4: Grand Theft Auto.
- 10:10Speaker 3: I would be so.
- 10:11Speaker 6: In why it's three Things you need to Know you
- 10:16Speaker 6: with the Alabama Show, World Atlas just recognized Gadsten as
- 10:20Speaker 6: one of the ten prettiest small towns in the South.
- 10:23Speaker 4: They talk about Nkalula Falls, the trail at the park,
- 10:26Speaker 4: the botanical gardens, and a pioneer village. Also, downtown has
- 10:30Speaker 4: a walkable strip of historic storefronts and the Gadsden Museum
- 10:33Speaker 4: of Art. So if you want to go take a visit,
- 10:35Speaker 4: go see Gadsden this weekend, FX is bringing back Sons
- 10:40Speaker 4: of Anarchy, the whole cast for a new show. The
- 10:43Speaker 4: network has ordered Legends, a limited series that brings back
- 10:47Speaker 4: a lot of the Biker Drama original crew, including your
- 10:50Speaker 4: favorite characters main characters, according.
- 10:52Speaker 2: To the FX.
- 10:54Speaker 4: According to FX, the series is going to follow the
- 10:56Speaker 4: cast when they reunited a fan convention more than a
- 10:59Speaker 4: decade for the show ended, and then a real world
- 11:02Speaker 4: threat takes place, So it sounds more like it's going
- 11:05Speaker 4: to be like staged reality.
- 11:07Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 11:08Speaker 3: I don't know how that.
- 11:08Speaker 5: I don't I don't understand the concept fully yet, but
- 11:11Speaker 5: I'm ready to see how that turns out.
- 11:12Speaker 4: Charlie the main character, he's one of the creators of
- 11:15Speaker 4: this kind of spinoff.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Have you seen people think post Malone is engaged?
- 11:19Speaker 3: I did see that. Apparently he posted it, I think right.
- 11:22Speaker 4: No photos released on Instagram show him with his on again,
- 11:25Speaker 4: off again girlfriend with a huge diamond on her finger,
- 11:28Speaker 4: And the photo that was posted was from the girl's
- 11:31Speaker 4: best friend and she said, my best friend in the
- 11:34Speaker 4: world just got engaged, And so everybody's like what, But
- 11:38Speaker 4: he hasn't officially said anything yet.
- 11:40Speaker 5: Oh okay, I've been understanding that he posted it, but
- 11:43Speaker 5: now this is making more sense.
- 11:45Speaker 4: He got a divorce last year. Any reason, we talked
- 11:50Speaker 4: about it on three things you need to know. He
- 11:52Speaker 4: was going through custody battle with his ex. You'll remember
- 11:55Speaker 4: that he has got a baby. He has a baby
- 11:57Speaker 4: mama and they Anyway, that's three pages. You need to
- 11:59Speaker 4: know more at the Alabama Show dot com, The.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Alabama Show on to Men. It's amazing free on the

- 12:10Speaker 3: Okay, Alabama, hit me with it for.
- 12:11Speaker 2: My movie fans.
- 12:13Speaker 4: Also, if you have good news that you're celebrating, like
- 12:15Speaker 4: your kids did good at their first week of school,

- 12:20Speaker 4: oh one, Bama. If you still have a DVD player,
- 12:23Speaker 4: you can rent DVDs for free.
- 12:26Speaker 2: There's this thing.
- 12:27Speaker 4: Called free Blockbuster, and they've set up free stands where
- 12:30Speaker 4: people can take or leave VHS, tapes, DVDs, and Blu rays.
- 12:34Speaker 4: It's like take a book, leave a book, take a book,
- 12:37Speaker 4: do that, DVDs and Blu rays.
- 12:40Speaker 3: That is awesome. I'm gonna be doing this. Where's it at?
- 12:43Speaker 4: It started in California in twenty nineteen when a former
- 12:46Speaker 4: Blockbuster employee turned an old newspaper dispenser into a blue
- 12:50Speaker 4: and yellow mini video store. And so the concept has
- 12:53Speaker 4: kind of taken over in a bunch of places all
- 12:55Speaker 4: across the US and Canada.
- 12:57Speaker 2: People are getting excited about it.
- 12:58Speaker 5: So I'm getting excited about it. I don't know where
- 13:01Speaker 5: the nearest one is to me.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Anyway, Free Blockbuster. Just go look it up. Go look
- 13:04Speaker 2: it up online. And do you even have a DVD
- 13:07Speaker 2: player or a VHS player.
- 13:09Speaker 3: I've got an Xbox. It'll play DVDs.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Do you even know how that?
- 13:13Speaker 4: What if they're all scratched, Well then I'm not returning
- 13:16Speaker 4: those anyway.
- 13:18Speaker 2: There's your good news.
- 13:19Speaker 4: If you have any good news stories you want to share,
- 13:20Speaker 4: call the show eight three three five oo Mbama.
- 13:23Speaker 1: The Alabama Show on demand free on the iHeartRadio app.
- 13:27Speaker 4: I have learned this week that we will never go
- 13:29Speaker 4: stay at producer Blake's house.
- 13:31Speaker 2: He's a terrible host.
- 13:33Speaker 3: I didn't do anything wrong.
- 13:34Speaker 4: I have learned from somebody who tattled on you in
- 13:37Speaker 4: your life.
- 13:38Speaker 5: Well, I'm going to tell you right now that is incorrect.
- 13:40Speaker 5: I am a good host.
- 13:42Speaker 4: I'm for listening to the Alabama show I'm Alabama with
- 13:45Speaker 4: Producer Blake this week, I've learned that producer Blake had
- 13:48Speaker 4: a friend, like one of your college buddies or something
- 13:52Speaker 4: comes stay the night with you.
- 13:53Speaker 5: Well, he was going to come stay the night after
- 13:55Speaker 5: a concert. He's from church.
- 13:57Speaker 2: And what you were going to do?
- 14:01Speaker 4: Yeah, instead of putting a fitted sheet on the mattress,
- 14:06Speaker 4: We're gonna lay the dust ruffle raw over.
- 14:10Speaker 2: The mattress and let him use that as a sheet.
- 14:12Speaker 3: To be fair, I thought it was a sheet.
- 14:14Speaker 2: I thought it is not a sheet.
- 14:17Speaker 4: The middle of a dust ruffle is mesh. Even the
- 14:20Speaker 4: person that told me this that it was mesh.
- 14:22Speaker 5: I never used one of those before growing up, So
- 14:25Speaker 5: I just thought it was a regularly.
- 14:27Speaker 3: It was just a weird sheet. I've always thought that
- 14:29Speaker 3: was a weird sheet.
- 14:30Speaker 8: Now.
- 14:30Speaker 2: I just didn't want to get a fitted sheet. I
- 14:32Speaker 2: know you, no, I knew you are lazy.
- 14:35Speaker 8: No.
- 14:35Speaker 5: I looked for a regular sheet, couldn't find one. I
- 14:38Speaker 5: was like, oh, this will work, this is fine, And then.
- 14:41Speaker 3: I found outful. Then I found out what it was.
- 14:43Speaker 3: I said, you can still sleep on it. What's the
- 14:46Speaker 3: problem with sleeping on it?
- 14:47Speaker 5: Oh?
- 14:47Speaker 2: You can't because it's scratchy.
- 14:49Speaker 4: A dust ruffle is not actually a sheet, just the
- 14:52Speaker 4: ruffle around it, on the sides, in the middle of it.
- 14:56Speaker 2: You could literally look at it and see that it
- 14:58Speaker 2: wasn't comfortable to lay on.
- 15:00Speaker 3: It was something to use. I don't see this as
- 15:03Speaker 3: a big deal at all.
- 15:04Speaker 5: I don't see what's a problem. I feel like we
- 15:08Speaker 5: are complaining about this too much when it didn't be Wait, do.
- 15:11Speaker 2: You have slept on it?
- 15:12Speaker 5: Yes?
- 15:13Speaker 2: Yes, of course this weekend.
- 15:16Speaker 4: Tonight tonight when you go home, will you take that
- 15:19Speaker 4: dust ruffle and lay it over your sheet?
- 15:21Speaker 1: No?
- 15:22Speaker 2: Why not?
- 15:22Speaker 5: Because I can have a choice of what I'm laying
- 15:24Speaker 5: on now, or do the work and put that on there.
- 15:26Speaker 4: I ain't What you're saying is if you had a
- 15:28Speaker 4: choice of the two, you would rather sleep on an
- 15:30Speaker 4: actual sheet and not a dust ruffle.
- 15:32Speaker 5: If I had the choice, If I'm a guest going
- 15:34Speaker 5: over someone's house and that's there, guess what I complaining
- 15:37Speaker 5: about it?
- 15:38Speaker 4: What did you just say two seconds ago? It doesn't
- 15:40Speaker 4: matter and it would be fine.
- 15:41Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 15:42Speaker 3: If I have the choice, I'm going to sleep what
- 15:45Speaker 3: I have already.
- 15:46Speaker 2: You don't have a choice. For research, purposes.
- 15:48Speaker 4: Tonight, I would like you to take your fitted sheet
- 15:51Speaker 4: off your bed and put this dust ruffle across your
- 15:54Speaker 4: raw mattress, like you were going to do to your buddy.
- 15:57Speaker 2: What are you gonna get them to cover up with
- 16:00Speaker 2: a blanket? Did the pillows have pillowcases?
- 16:02Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 16:03Speaker 2: What kind of blanket?
- 16:04Speaker 3: It was like a is the cooling blanket and then
- 16:07Speaker 3: a comforter.
- 16:08Speaker 4: I want you to do it tonight for research purposes.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Go lay on a dust ruffle across your par mattress.
- 16:16Speaker 3: I don't want to do it.
- 16:17Speaker 2: I didn't know why was it okay for your friend
- 16:20Speaker 2: to do that?
- 16:20Speaker 3: Because I thought it was fine.
- 16:22Speaker 2: If it's fine, then you would do it.
- 16:24Speaker 4: Treat your get love thy neighbor as you would love thyself.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Don't do this, don't do that.
- 16:29Speaker 5: No, what I'm saying is, I don't think it would
- 16:33Speaker 5: matter if I went to someone's house and that was there.
- 16:36Speaker 3: I am. I'm okay with it. If you say sleep
- 16:38Speaker 3: on this hardwood floor, I guess what I'll do it.
- 16:40Speaker 2: If I'm staying at your house, you'll complain about it.
- 16:42Speaker 5: Of course I won't complain about it, because that's my right,
- 16:45Speaker 5: that's my god given right and I'm gonna do it.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Call the show.
- 16:49Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, somebody else besides me tail producer Blank.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Why this is wrong on so many levels. He don't
- 16:55Speaker 2: listen to me.
- 16:56Speaker 4: Eight three thirty five oh one BAMA is the number.
- 16:58Speaker 4: That's eight three three five one two two six y two.
- 17:02Speaker 1: The Alabama Show on Demand's free on the iHeartRadio app.
- 17:05Speaker 4: We told a story a minute ago about producer Blake,
- 17:08Speaker 4: and we decided to call his pastor and talk to
- 17:10Speaker 4: him about it on the air. Also, you can call
- 17:13Speaker 4: the show. Eight three three five oh one BEMA is
- 17:15Speaker 4: the number. Pastor Brian, Good morning, How are you.
- 17:18Speaker 2: I'm fantastic, How are you? I am great?
- 17:21Speaker 4: So I would like to tell you a story, but
- 17:24Speaker 4: I would like to preface the story. You know the
- 17:26Speaker 4: phrase treat thy neighbor as you would yourself. Yes, I
- 17:30Speaker 4: just want you to keep that in your mind when
- 17:33Speaker 4: I tell you what producer Blake did because he had
- 17:38Speaker 4: a guy from church coming to spend the night with him,
- 17:42Speaker 4: Ben Ben. Ben was coming to stay over and Producer
- 17:47Speaker 4: Blake in the guest bedroom on a bear mattress. Instead
- 17:52Speaker 4: of putting an actual sheet on the bed, he put
- 17:55Speaker 4: a dust ruffle and laid it over the mattress for
- 18:00Speaker 4: him to lay on.
- 18:01Speaker 2: You know what a dust ruffle is, right?
- 18:03Speaker 3: Yes?
- 18:04Speaker 9: Do you know?
- 18:05Speaker 2: The middle of it is bad?
- 18:07Speaker 4: And so Producer Blake said, it wasn't that bad that
- 18:11Speaker 4: he did that. He's lucky that he got anything covering
- 18:14Speaker 4: the mattress.
- 18:15Speaker 9: And that was what I was originally thinking when you
- 18:17Speaker 9: started the story. Well, I can't believe Dan got anything.
- 18:20Speaker 4: So I told producer Blake, I said, well, then would
- 18:23Speaker 4: you sleep on it?
- 18:24Speaker 2: And he goes yes, And I asked him to go
- 18:26Speaker 2: home and.
- 18:27Speaker 4: Take his sheet off of his bed and put the
- 18:29Speaker 4: dust ruffle over it and sleep on it.
- 18:31Speaker 2: And now he will not.
- 18:33Speaker 5: Why not because if I have a choice, Brian, I'm
- 18:36Speaker 5: not gonna do that. But if that's the only thing
- 18:39Speaker 5: that say, I go to your house and that's the
- 18:41Speaker 5: only thing you have, I'm going to complain to you.
- 18:43Speaker 5: Don't be like, thank you for letting me stay here tonight.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Why didn't you take the sheet off your bed?
- 18:48Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 18:48Speaker 2: Why did you switch? Why didn't you give me in
- 18:50Speaker 2: your bed?
- 18:50Speaker 5: But I told him he could have slept with me.
- 18:53Speaker 5: I told him he could sit in the same bed.
- 18:55Speaker 2: Come on, man, I think if this is something.
- 18:58Speaker 4: If this is something he would do for a friend,
- 19:00Speaker 4: he should do it himself. And if he wouldn't do
- 19:02Speaker 4: it himself, then he shouldn't have done it to a friend.
- 19:05Speaker 5: Why question whether or not there's a friendship, Brian, You
- 19:09Speaker 5: know there is.
- 19:13Speaker 4: I just you know, if you were wondering what your
- 19:15Speaker 4: sermon on Sunday was going to be about.
- 19:17Speaker 2: I hope this gives you some inspiration, because.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Well, I'm working on it now.
- 19:22Speaker 4: So I know you've taught Blake better than this, but
- 19:26Speaker 4: I just want you to know, apparently, once he goes
- 19:31Speaker 4: home on Thursdays and Fridays, whatever he heard on Wednesday
- 19:35Speaker 4: goes out there the other d Yeah.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Well, thanks for the great story.
- 19:39Speaker 2: You're welcome. We appreciate you. You're you're helping Blake a
- 19:43Speaker 2: little bit, so I appreciate you for trying to keep
- 19:46Speaker 2: our guy on the tracks.
- 19:50Speaker 3: It's so hard, I know, I.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Mean say, it takes a village. It's a lot of work.
- 19:59Speaker 3: I know it is.
- 20:00Speaker 2: And here's the truth. Blake isn't the worst one that
- 20:03Speaker 2: I've dealt with, But he's not the best either, is he?
- 20:07Speaker 2: Oh no, no, no, not even play.
- 20:13Speaker 1: You are listening to the Alabama Show on demand.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Are you ready to go home? Good sir?
