- 0:30Speaker 2: Hello everybody, this is Robin Vogel, and this is come
- 0:34Speaker 2: Back to Love Radio. We are on km E T
- 0:39Speaker 2: and I am broadcasting today from Costa Rica from the

- 1:08Speaker 2: This is episode number two and I'm Robin Vogel. This
- 1:13Speaker 2: episode is honoring I also want to say celebrating, but regardless,
- 1:21Speaker 2: talking about heartbreak as transformation which is a really big
- 1:25Speaker 2: part of the work of Come Back to Love. When
- 1:29Speaker 2: your heart breaks open instead of breaking down, there's an
- 1:34Speaker 2: opportunity for transformation, and we're going to talk about that today,
- 1:36Speaker 2: how heartbreak can become the beginning of your deepest healing
- 1:40Speaker 2: and your most authentic life. This episode is going to
- 1:45Speaker 2: be about what happens after life feels like it's falling apart.
- 1:50Speaker 2: But first I'll take a moment to introduce myself. Since
- 1:52Speaker 2: this is a new show on km ET and I
- 1:56Speaker 2: have a new audience listening in, so it'll take a
- 2:00Speaker 2: little bit to get to know me, and so I
- 2:02Speaker 2: want to introduce myself again. My name is Robin Vogel
- 2:05Speaker 2: and I'm a psychotherapist. I'm a love an Intimacy coach
- 2:09Speaker 2: and the author of come Back to Love, a Path
- 2:11Speaker 2: to Healing. That book was published this year February twenty
- 2:16Speaker 2: twenty six by Kohler Books and can be found anywhere
- 2:21Speaker 2: that you buy books online. For over twenty years, I've
- 2:26Speaker 2: been helping people do what I had to learn to
- 2:28Speaker 2: do myself. Heal the past, understand the patterns, and create
- 2:32Speaker 2: the kind of love that's actually real, not the love
- 2:37Speaker 2: that looks good on paper. Not the love that looks
- 2:40Speaker 2: or feels like a roller coaster you can't get off,
- 2:42Speaker 2: but the love that feels like finally, This is what
- 2:47Speaker 2: I was looking for. This episode is for you if
- 2:52Speaker 2: you have been through a heartbreak, if you have heartache
- 2:56Speaker 2: in your life, come back to Love is for all
- 3:00Speaker 2: of you that have experienced a loss, perhaps that's divorce
- 3:05Speaker 2: or grief from a death, or a major transition in life.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Perhaps you experience the betrayal, abandonment, some kind of disappointment,
- 3:17Speaker 2: major disappointment in life, even aging, change an identity, adult
- 3:22Speaker 2: children leaving home that's a big one for me, a
- 3:26Speaker 2: loss of a friendship, illness, loneliness, and just kind of
- 3:29Speaker 2: sharing all the different ways that people experience heartache and
- 3:33Speaker 2: heartbreak in their lives. It's really universal, isn't it. Then
- 3:37Speaker 2: they come back to love. Work and the work that
- 3:40Speaker 2: we do together and the things I'm going to talk
- 3:42Speaker 2: about on my radio show again all have to do
- 3:45Speaker 2: with healing the heart. Healing the heart and coming back
- 3:48Speaker 2: to love. That is a mantra that I use often
- 3:53Speaker 2: often because the heartbreak changes us. It changes us each
- 3:58Speaker 2: time it happens, and sometimes you try to fix it
- 4:02Speaker 2: really quickly move on really quickly. There's a lot of
- 4:05Speaker 2: pressure in our culture to move on. Gosh, you know,
- 4:09Speaker 2: don't stay sad too long. Other people get uncomfortable. They
- 4:13Speaker 2: want you to move through it quickly. Your mother dies,
- 4:16Speaker 2: you take a day off from work, but the boss
- 4:19Speaker 2: expects you back at work the next day. Meanwhile, you
- 4:22Speaker 2: haven't had a chance to take a breath. There's a
- 4:25Speaker 2: lot of hidden shame around grief and our culture. What
- 4:30Speaker 2: if heartbreak isn't just something to survive and kind of
- 4:34Speaker 2: push through. What if it's an initiation into a deeper life.
- 4:40Speaker 2: It certainly has been for me. I'll share a little
- 4:42Speaker 2: bit about my story right here, so it's yeah, I
- 4:48Speaker 2: had a tragic childhood. I will say that you can
- 4:51Speaker 2: certainly read lots of details in my book, but I'll
- 4:55Speaker 2: share here that I had my mother who died when
- 4:59Speaker 2: I was ten years old in nineteen seventy six. She
- 5:02Speaker 2: had cancer. She actually discovered it herself back in nineteen
- 5:06Speaker 2: seventy two. I was six years old at the time.
- 5:11Speaker 2: She discovered a lump in her breast and she went
- 5:13Speaker 2: to the doctor and the doctor said, oh, everything's yeah,
- 5:17Speaker 2: it's fine, it's nothing. Just you know, it'll go away,
- 5:20Speaker 2: don't worry about it. So she came home and she
- 5:22Speaker 2: reported back to her mom, to my dad, her husband.
- 5:26Speaker 2: You know, the doctor said everything's fine, and they both said, nah,
- 5:29Speaker 2: go get a second opinion, Like that's that doesn't seem right.
- 5:34Speaker 2: You should get a second opinion. But I think she
- 5:36Speaker 2: was so relieved to get, you know, not a death
- 5:39Speaker 2: sentence in that meeting, that she just said, no, no,
- 5:42Speaker 2: I'm just going to I'm just going to believe this doctor.
- 5:48Speaker 3: And.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Then, you know, hopefully I'll get better. Long story short,
- 5:56Speaker 2: she didn't get better. The lump got bigger. She went
- 5:59Speaker 2: back to the doctor a year later, and at that point,
- 6:03Speaker 2: very sadly, the cancer had metastasized and she had it
- 6:07Speaker 2: many different organs in her body. At that point, she
- 6:10Speaker 2: did start treatment, and she spent three years treating. You know,
- 6:15Speaker 2: under treatment, I would say surgeries and chemotherapy and radiation.
- 6:19Speaker 2: And it's interesting because I find myself hesitating as I
- 6:22Speaker 2: tell you the story because the truth is, I was
- 6:23Speaker 2: so young. I don't actually know what she went through.
- 6:27Speaker 2: I don't know all the specific details. My parents didn't
- 6:29Speaker 2: talk about it. The wisdom quote unquote of that time
- 6:32Speaker 2: was don't talk about it. With the kids. Keep it
- 6:35Speaker 2: to yourself, you know, we don't want to make the
- 6:39Speaker 2: kids feel this or that or the other thing. And
- 6:41Speaker 2: so it was like a big secret in my house,
- 6:43Speaker 2: which was another trauma and another heartbreak. And so when
- 6:50Speaker 2: I asked the question, what if heartbreak isn't just something
- 6:52Speaker 2: to survive but an initiation into a deeper life. Now,
- 6:57Speaker 2: certainly for me it was something to survive. For many years.
- 7:00Speaker 2: It was so challenging and hard to survive at age ten, eleven,
- 7:07Speaker 2: twelve thirteen. Right all those teenage years, it was, oh gosh,
- 7:12Speaker 2: it was just like torture, and all I was doing
- 7:14Speaker 2: was trying to survive. But once I stepped in to
- 7:18Speaker 2: more of an adult and the realization that I really
- 7:22Speaker 2: needed to start not just surviving but doing the healing
- 7:27Speaker 2: work to heal my own heart, it became clear after
- 7:31Speaker 2: a while that this was a very significant initiation into
- 7:34Speaker 2: a deeper life. And it has completely changed and guided,
- 7:41Speaker 2: i want to say, guided my life to the work
- 7:44Speaker 2: that I'm doing today, which is supporting others in a
- 7:48Speaker 2: very large community that I've created in the northeastern part
- 7:51Speaker 2: of the United States, but also extending out nationally internationally
- 7:56Speaker 2: as I've been teaching in various places over the last
- 7:58Speaker 2: twenty five years, but really inviting people to look at
- 8:02Speaker 2: what's holding them back and love and noticing what heart breaks,
- 8:07Speaker 2: what heart aches, what traumas have people been through that
- 8:12Speaker 2: are still lingering. And people are yeah, once they see
- 8:18Speaker 2: that they or once they notice that they feel stuck
- 8:22Speaker 2: in relationship, in love and intimacy, once they notice that
- 8:27Speaker 2: they feel afraid, once they notice that they feel like
- 8:30Speaker 2: their heart is closed, or even they might not know
- 8:33Speaker 2: what the reason is, but just a feeling of stuck
- 8:38Speaker 2: and not having the intimacy in their lives that they want.
- 8:41Speaker 2: That's when they come to the work of come back
- 8:44Speaker 2: to love, to do the healing, to open their hearts
- 8:48Speaker 2: again to themselves that they can live a life full
- 8:51Speaker 2: of love, whatever that looks like. I always tell my
- 8:54Speaker 2: clients and my workshop participants. Once you do the healing
- 8:58Speaker 2: work and you come back to love with yourself and
- 9:00Speaker 2: you open up to such a deep place of self
- 9:02Speaker 2: love inside yourself and you feel more aligned with yourself,
- 9:05Speaker 2: you get to choose do you want to be in
- 9:07Speaker 2: relationship or no? Do you want to have children? What
- 9:10Speaker 2: kind of work do you want to do? Do you
- 9:11Speaker 2: want to change your work. Where do you want to live? Like,
- 9:14Speaker 2: Once you're really that deeply connected to yourself and aligned
- 9:18Speaker 2: with your true, authentic self, that's the place to make
- 9:22Speaker 2: choices from. And that's an incredible place to make choices
- 9:25Speaker 2: from versus when you're all over the place and running,
- 9:31Speaker 2: you know, a million miles an hour and disconnected from yourself,
- 9:35Speaker 2: dissociated from your body. It's really hard to make good,
- 9:39Speaker 2: healthy choices for yourself when you're feeling that. So heartbreak
- 9:46Speaker 2: and trauma affect us in very deep ways. That's obvious,
- 9:51Speaker 2: but I want to say that, you know, there's a
- 9:54Speaker 2: lot of talk about nervous system work these days. You know,
- 9:57Speaker 2: reset your nervous system, And that's because when we I've
- 10:00Speaker 2: had trauma, our nervous systems are haywire. And I didn't
- 10:04Speaker 2: know that. When I first started doing my own work,
- 10:05Speaker 2: I was doing mostly emotional work. I became a psychotherapist,
- 10:09Speaker 2: but I couldn't quite get to the endpoint that I wanted.
- 10:12Speaker 2: I kept making progress. Everything I did was helped so helpful,
- 10:16Speaker 2: and I'll share more about the things that I did
- 10:18Speaker 2: for myself in this radio show over the coming weeks.
- 10:22Speaker 2: But it wasn't until I started doing the nervous system
- 10:25Speaker 2: recovery work that I finally healed some big symptoms that
- 10:28Speaker 2: were just in my way. Wow, that was majorly life changing.
- 10:33Speaker 2: When I came across the nervous system, I almost said neuroplasticity,
- 10:37Speaker 2: because those are the tools that I teach, and then
- 10:40Speaker 2: I'll be teaching on this radio show some of them
- 10:41Speaker 2: that you can use right away. That really changed things
- 10:45Speaker 2: for me in a very significant way. Another piece of
- 10:49Speaker 2: what happens when there's been a trauma or a significant
- 10:52Speaker 2: heartbreak is we put up protective walls. Now often we
- 10:56Speaker 2: need those protective walls when the trauma or event is happening.
- 11:00Speaker 2: When my mother was sick and going to chemotherapy and
- 11:03Speaker 2: feeling ill and feeling angry and taking it out some
- 11:06Speaker 2: ways just in her mood and her energy in the
- 11:10Speaker 2: house towards me, I had to put protection up. That's
- 11:14Speaker 2: a good thing. When we put protection up when we're young,
- 11:16Speaker 2: when we went through when we're going through something really painful,
- 11:21Speaker 2: those protective parts are so valuable. As an internal family
- 11:26Speaker 2: systems therapist, I work a lot with parts, and we
- 11:30Speaker 2: saying there are no bad parts. We need the protection
- 11:33Speaker 2: at the time that we need it. However, after a
- 11:37Speaker 2: betrayal or a loss has happened and we put up
- 11:40Speaker 2: some protection, we then need later on to look at
- 11:44Speaker 2: those protective parts and to do the healing work to
- 11:47Speaker 2: lower those walls and barriers and open the heart. So
- 11:51Speaker 2: that's really deep work and such important work. Often what
- 11:55Speaker 2: happens when there's a heartbreak or a heartache is we
- 11:58Speaker 2: lose trust. There's a lot of trust we Sometimes we
- 12:01Speaker 2: don't trust ourselves and often we don't trust others. In
- 12:06Speaker 2: my case, I've lost trust in adults like they lied
- 12:09Speaker 2: to us. I had to recover that trust over time.
- 12:13Speaker 2: I lost trust in love because I was you know,
- 12:15Speaker 2: your mother is like your first love, your most primary
- 12:19Speaker 2: love relationship. I've lost trust in love. For those of
- 12:23Speaker 2: you that have had a betrayal, which many of my
- 12:25Speaker 2: clients have, or have been with a narcissistic partner, regaining
- 12:29Speaker 2: trust is so important to your process of healing. There's
- 12:35Speaker 2: sometimes an identity collapse. Like I thought I was someone
- 12:39Speaker 2: who chose well in relationship, but when I look back
- 12:45Speaker 2: at my life, I've chosen two narcissistic partners for example.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Just continuing with that example, so there's a piece of identity.
- 12:54Speaker 2: That's just one example that sometimes collapses and falls apart
- 13:00Speaker 2: art and then you know there's a rising out of that.
- 13:04Speaker 2: There can be emotional numbness, and that relates to the
- 13:07Speaker 2: protective walls, but there can be very much so a
- 13:10Speaker 2: shutting down in fear from the trauma from the heartbreak
- 13:16Speaker 2: of the past, and that of course numbness. We say
- 13:19Speaker 2: in internal family systems work and none is a part.
- 13:23Speaker 2: It's a protective part. So again we do the healing
- 13:25Speaker 2: work and figure out, you know, what to do with
- 13:29Speaker 2: that in terms of healing and opening up, coming back
- 13:33Speaker 2: to your authentic self and you know, doing the healing
- 13:37Speaker 2: work that's necessary. All right, stay with me. This is
- 13:42Speaker 2: Robin Vogel. We are on k M e T Radio.
- 13:46Speaker 2: We are on we Are Come Back to Love today
- 13:49Speaker 2: Thursdays live at one thirty pm Pacific for thirty pm
- 13:54Speaker 2: Eastern every week. I'm talking about heartbreak and the things
- 13:59Speaker 2: that that heartbreak actually does to us. And one of
- 14:04Speaker 2: the last pieces I want to mention right now is overfunctioning.
- 14:08Speaker 2: And if you're identifying with any of these things, I'm saying,
- 14:11Speaker 2: you know, reach out because these are all the things
- 14:13Speaker 2: I actually have experienced in my life because of my
- 14:15Speaker 2: own heartbreak, and overfunctioning is one of them, and I
- 14:18Speaker 2: will say I am still working on that one. Overfunctioning, overdoing, overworking,
- 14:23Speaker 2: trying to make other people happy, trying to make everybody happy,
- 14:28Speaker 2: trying to be the best, the most perfect, fill in
- 14:31Speaker 2: the blank. If this is you, I'm with you, And
- 14:37Speaker 2: you know, just another really important thing to look at
- 14:40Speaker 2: when it comes to healing the heart and coming back
- 14:43Speaker 2: to love. Because when we're overfunctioning, we're actually disconnected from ourselves.
- 14:47Speaker 2: We're overriding fatigue, we're overriding our natural rhythms, our natural pace,
- 14:54Speaker 2: which may be way slower. We override symptoms from our bodies,
- 14:58Speaker 2: we get sick, we heard ourselves, all of these things
- 15:02Speaker 2: because of the disconnect. So overfunctioning is a really big
- 15:05Speaker 2: piece and something to just think about in terms of
- 15:09Speaker 2: looking at yourself and asking yourself like, hmm, am I
- 15:13Speaker 2: someone who overfunctions. So there's also other pieces you know
- 15:19Speaker 2: of our lives, of course, that are impacted by trauma.
- 15:21Speaker 2: There's attachment, there's anxiety, there's the good girl conditioning, which
- 15:26Speaker 2: is kind of like overfunctioning, and there's the abandonment wounds.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Of course, you know that we'll talk more about down
- 15:34Speaker 2: the road, but all of these are, you know, ways
- 15:37Speaker 2: that heartbreak has impacted. And what I want to talk
- 15:40Speaker 2: about in the second half of the show today is
- 15:43Speaker 2: I want to introduce you to the healing methodology that
- 15:46Speaker 2: I have developed over the last twenty five years of
- 15:49Speaker 2: working not only with hundreds of individuals and couples, but
- 15:53Speaker 2: also working with myself. Because, like I said earlier, I teach,
- 15:58Speaker 2: I share, I facilitate that has worked for me. Otherwise,
- 16:03Speaker 2: you know, I can't teach you, I can't guide. I
- 16:07Speaker 2: guide from my own experience, from the things that I
- 16:10Speaker 2: have spent a lot of time with, not just a
- 16:14Speaker 2: quick you know, oh yeah, I tried this one thing
- 16:16Speaker 2: and it worked, and now I'm going to teach it now.
- 16:19Speaker 2: I really have spent a lot of time, years and
- 16:22Speaker 2: years and years healing and really looking at what has
- 16:28Speaker 2: had impact. So I have developed something called the Four Gates,
- 16:33Speaker 2: the Four Gates approach, and actually in my book Come
- 16:37Speaker 2: Back to Love, A Path to Healing, the Four Gates
- 16:39Speaker 2: approach are introduced and also gone into in the book
- 16:43Speaker 2: with some depth. Of course. Each chapter has an introduction
- 16:47Speaker 2: to one of the gates and then exercises to do
- 16:52Speaker 2: the work with yourself, and then of course, if you
- 16:55Speaker 2: need support, you reach out to your own therapist or
- 16:57Speaker 2: a coach, or to me. I always offer thirty minutes
- 17:00Speaker 2: of free consultation. So you can find that link very easily,
- 17:04Speaker 2: or you can find it. I'm on my website, which
- 17:06Speaker 2: is just simply come back to love dot com. So
- 17:10Speaker 2: beyond the emotion is Gate one. And actually, before I
- 17:15Speaker 2: speak about the gates, I just want to invite all
- 17:17Speaker 2: of my listeners in this moment to take a deep breath.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Take a deep breath. You might close your eyes for
- 17:25Speaker 2: a moment and visualize yourself on a path, see a
- 17:32Speaker 2: beautiful path, whatever that beautiful path is for you. For me,
- 17:35Speaker 2: it's definitely outside. It's dirt, it's surrounded by green, it's
- 17:41Speaker 2: got beautiful benches and trees and berries and perhaps fruit trees.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Since I'm here in Costa Rica right now, and I
- 17:51Speaker 2: see that path, the path, as the path to love,
- 17:54Speaker 2: and they invite you to do the same. See the
- 17:56Speaker 2: path as the path to love. And as you're walking
- 17:59Speaker 2: down the path, you will eventually come to each gate,
- 18:04Speaker 2: four of them. And when you stop at the first one,
- 18:08Speaker 2: I'll invite you to do some inner work and when
- 18:12Speaker 2: we get to Gate two, the same Gate three, gay four.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Now they're not necessarily linear, but our minds like linearity,
- 18:20Speaker 2: so I created them as a linear path because it's
- 18:23Speaker 2: an easier framework for all of us to use. I
- 18:28Speaker 2: want to invite you to see yourself walking down the
- 18:33Speaker 2: path and stop for a moment at this first beautiful
- 18:37Speaker 2: gate that you come to, the first gate I call
- 18:40Speaker 2: beyond the emotion. Now, as a psychotherapist, of course I
- 18:44Speaker 2: do a lot of emotional healing work with people, and
- 18:47Speaker 2: as I said earlier, I was doing a lot for
- 18:49Speaker 2: myself and it wasn't the whole story, which is really
- 18:53Speaker 2: how these gates I want to say, we're channeled so
- 18:57Speaker 2: that the methodology could be created for people to use.
- 19:02Speaker 2: So beyond the emotion though, really important, because when you've
- 19:05Speaker 2: had loss and you're feeling stuck in your life, there's
- 19:12Speaker 2: probably more emotional work to do. In my work, Like
- 19:17Speaker 2: I said, I use internal family systems work strongly. I
- 19:20Speaker 2: use many other things for emotional healing, but learning how
- 19:26Speaker 2: to be with heartbreak, move through heartbreak at your own pass,
- 19:32Speaker 2: move through loss at your own pass, at your own pace,
- 19:38Speaker 2: without becoming consumed by it. You know, you might be
- 19:42Speaker 2: looking at emotional overwhelm, a lot of grief. How to
- 19:49Speaker 2: alchemize the emotions. Healing isn't about avoiding the emotions. It's
- 19:53Speaker 2: actually about learning not to disappear inside the emotions and
- 19:57Speaker 2: also not to block them. They can't be expressed. So
- 20:02Speaker 2: the first gait, beyond the emotion, really important, and we
- 20:05Speaker 2: spend a lot of time there. As you can imagine
- 20:08Speaker 2: the second gait I call beyond the mind, which is
- 20:12Speaker 2: moving beyond limiting beliefs. It's moving beyond obsessive thinking. It's
- 20:17Speaker 2: moving beyond replaying the past over and over and over
- 20:20Speaker 2: again in your mind. It's moving beyond self blame, moving
- 20:24Speaker 2: beyond places that you don't love yourself, moving beyond a
- 20:28Speaker 2: mental way of kind of controlling your pain, if that
- 20:33Speaker 2: makes sense to you. These limiting beliefs can get They
- 20:36Speaker 2: dictate our lives. I'm not good enough, I'm not lovable,
- 20:40Speaker 2: I'm not choosable, nobody likes me, I'm too broken. Any
- 20:46Speaker 2: of those thoughts come from the trauma from the past,
- 20:50Speaker 2: and they get stuck. They're neural pathways in the brain
- 20:54Speaker 2: that get stuck, and they get there's actually stuck until
- 21:00Speaker 2: you use the tools of neuroplasticity, which again I will
- 21:04Speaker 2: say more about and you can learn more about, certainly
- 21:07Speaker 2: by connecting with me. But these tools are so powerful
- 21:10Speaker 2: and they will stop those thoughts in their tracks. Honestly,
- 21:16Speaker 2: it was it felt like magic to me when I
- 21:17Speaker 2: did it myself. So if you're like ruminating or over analyzing,
- 21:22Speaker 2: or really attached to a story in your life that
- 21:26Speaker 2: just is guiding everything, if you're trying to make meaning
- 21:30Speaker 2: and over make meaning in your mind from the trauma
- 21:34Speaker 2: from the past that you've experienced, I invite you to
- 21:38Speaker 2: really get to know these limiting beliefs so you know
- 21:41Speaker 2: what they are. And once you know what they are,
- 21:43Speaker 2: they can be healed. Yeah, it often begins. The healing
- 21:48Speaker 2: begins when we loosen our grip on these thoughts and
- 21:50Speaker 2: on the story. The third gait, just briefly, is beyond
- 21:54Speaker 2: the human, and beyond the human is about looking at
- 21:59Speaker 2: your being as a soul, looking at spiritual initiation where
- 22:04Speaker 2: heartbreak can become spiritual initiation, looking at what your soul
- 22:08Speaker 2: is supposed to learn in this lifetime right now, on
- 22:12Speaker 2: the planet, right now. This is very powerful work. It
- 22:18Speaker 2: invites you to surrender to what's true. It invites your
- 22:22Speaker 2: soul to grow and evolve. This particular gait teaches you
- 22:27Speaker 2: something about your purpose for being here, and it adds grace.
- 22:33Speaker 2: It invites an awakening. There's a sacred transformation that happens
- 22:36Speaker 2: when we do the work of Gate three beyond the human.
- 22:40Speaker 2: The fourth gate has to do with the body, including
- 22:42Speaker 2: the body, finding out and discovering how trauma is still
- 22:47Speaker 2: being held in your body, doing somatic practices, understanding why
- 22:53Speaker 2: your hip hurts, your right hip and not your left,
- 22:55Speaker 2: your knees, whatever it is. However, your body is holding
- 22:59Speaker 2: the trauma and the heartbreak. You might have numbness in
- 23:03Speaker 2: your body, it might not be pain. This part of
- 23:06Speaker 2: our work talks about sensuality and how that might be
- 23:10Speaker 2: a challenge for you. Talks about safety in the body,
- 23:14Speaker 2: talks about yes and no and maybe and how to
- 23:18Speaker 2: really navigate and know from the inside out how to
- 23:21Speaker 2: feel safe, how to regulate yourself, and how to reconnect
- 23:25Speaker 2: to your body so you have pleasure, so you have vitality,
- 23:28Speaker 2: so that you make a ligne choices for yourself. The
- 23:31Speaker 2: body remembers heartbreak, but it also remembers how to heal.
- 23:37Speaker 2: So those are the four gates. That's the four gate
- 23:40Speaker 2: approach to come back to love. A shattered heart is
- 23:45Speaker 2: not proof you failed at love or you failed in
- 23:48Speaker 2: your life. Sometimes it's the breaking open required to become
- 23:52Speaker 2: more full of yourself. I invite you to check out
