- 0:01It does look like they're in the process of moving SM, 15.
- 0:05Whether it's going to be loading it up today.
- 0:09And moving it tomorrow. We're loading it up tomorrow
- 0:11morning and moving it between two and four.
- 0:15We will see. But they're getting it prepped
- 0:20for some sort of move as you can tell by the crane on top of SM.
- 0:2315, here's the link. If you guys want to help out
- 0:27with the Studio B, Here's our patreon, like get cool perks,
- 0:33t-shirts, sweatshirts hoodies stickers and stuff too.
- 0:39So we might be interested in that.
- 0:40Pretty cool stuff and also helps us get to Starbase Studio B.
- 0:53What would you rather ride on Blue?
- 0:55Origin are virgin. Oh, who.
- 0:57That's a, I'm going virgin, I'm going version how to present
- 1:01basically, because man, the view is look amazing.
- 1:08I mean blue origin looks cool and everything, but you're only
- 1:12up there for a couple seconds. It's like up and down and, you
- 1:18know, I know the Virgin Flight wasn't super long, but I'd
- 1:23rather I think I'd rather be in a space plane than in a rocket.
- 1:26I don't know, though. It's a tough one.
- 1:28I think I think blue origin has the NS series.
- 1:33New Shepherd series is pretty cool.
- 1:37As far as space tourism goes and it's you know it's going to be a
- 1:40cool show but I also think being launched from underneath a plane
- 1:45like a rocket like a, you know, like a like a missile.
- 1:50It's pretty sweet too. So, I don't know.
- 1:53It's a toss-up. You think Essence 16 is going to
- 1:59take a lot of time to fly too much expensive cranes around in
- 2:02the massive lr1. 13. 500 crate is too big to be moved.
- 2:09You think they're going to get the tough while the only have a
- 2:11few more sections for the tower and that's being built right
- 2:14now, So, the tower might, I think you might be right, I
- 2:21think you might be right with those because the cranes are
- 2:24huge, huge, huge huge. And they're kind of in the way,
- 2:28the basically, in the way, There's no way they could launch
- 2:33it with all those cranes around. You're right.
- 2:34You're absolutely right. There's so many cranes and it's,
- 2:40I mean, the giant crane, they can move it, it's on tracks.
- 2:46But getting just moving it out of the way.
- 2:50For a flight, might be a little bit too much.
- 2:55Maybe they can do everything all at once, you know, maybe they
- 2:58could continue stacking. These Tower pieces together.
- 3:04But I don't know. I don't know what they're going
- 3:21to do first or next I should say, but that orbital.
- 3:25integration Tower is quite large.
- 3:40The M3 + SN 16 are both in their High Bay's segment two of the
- 3:44launch Tower of the orbital Tower stacked.
- 3:48Three through five being built in the Sanchez area.
- 3:52So it's like There's just so much stuff going on in parallel
- 3:59that we don't really know what's going on.
- 4:02You know, we don't know what the time frame is, the timetable is
- 4:04what they're going to do next. It would take a little bit of
- 4:06time to move those cranes but also If they really want a lot
- 4:12of Chess at 60 and they can move those cranes out, you know, in a
- 4:14couple hours. But also those cranes are
- 4:21gigantic and they don't want to lose them as if something
- 4:24happens, if there's a red for us M16 and they lose even one of
- 4:28those cranes, they are set back a lot.
- 4:34Large crane won't be moved until they finish the tower.
- 4:36Jeremy I have to agree with you there.
- 4:40Because both of those things. So that's another thing.
- 4:43Both of those things need to be done SN, 16 launch and the
- 4:46orbital Tower, have to both be done before a full stack, super
- 4:51heavy. So it doesn't, I guess, it
- 4:55doesn't matter, which one gets done first or second, you know?
- 5:08Mushy blue origin. Has this full space experience.
- 5:11Yeah, that's true with the Caps casbolt capsule parachute. yeah,
- 5:16I so That's a another thing. Like you get the whole you get
- 5:22the whole deal with Bo. You're in a rocket you to go
- 5:27straight up, you know you're just like holding on then to get
- 5:30weightless for a couple seconds and if a couple minutes and then
- 5:34you come back down, there's parachutes.
- 5:36You're in a capsule. Yeah.
- 5:37So that's it. That's an interesting
- 5:41perspective on it too. There's so many more.
- 5:44I think there's more moving Parts too.
- 5:48Virgin Galactic as well. You know, you have the
- 5:53mothership, we have launcher, you know and then you know you
- 5:57have your space plane of course and then space plane has to
- 6:01collide in and land. Mushy.
- 6:04I be the same. I would I would throw up, I
- 6:10would not make it back in one piece, man.
- 6:12I would make it back not very not very healthy after that, I'd
- 6:17be so excited, but I would be sick on both.
- 6:20I get I get carsick when I'm a passenger in cars, so Could you
- 6:24imagine me being a passenger on a freaking rocket?
- 6:28I'd be done for. Yeah, I'd have to go right to
- 6:48the showers after that. We like, I, that was cool.
- 6:50But I gotta go guys. David.
- 7:00You hope they fly both SN 15 and 16.
- 7:02I hope they do too, but if they don't need to fly.
- 7:04Yes and 15. I hope they don't.
- 7:23I'm driving a car. I'm totally fine but if I'm a
- 7:26passenger I get kind of queasy and sickly in Plains.
- 7:31I'm fine I get nervous when I'm flying a little bit because I
- 7:34don't like closed spaces like that.
- 7:36So I just sleep. How thick is the steel used to
- 7:43make Starships? Well they're they're working out
- 7:46of 3. Mm and a 4.
- 7:47Mm. And yeah, it's tiny.
- 7:52It's not that it's not that thick but that think of Steel is
- 7:57very, very hard, very stable. You know, we have a scrap yard
- 8:23up here in my area. And I want to find a pipe that's
- 8:29nine meters around. Go to the scrap yard and be
- 8:31like, hey, do you guys have anything is 9 meters around?
- 8:35Because I would like to see how big this thing actually is.
- 8:42Epic Starship has because 9 meters around.
- 8:44So it'd be kind of cool to have that or at least draw it out in
- 8:48a field or something. I don't know.
- 8:50It just show people how big it actually is.
- 9:15Respecting a flight. Silver is still quiet.
- 9:18Well, there's a startling admission tomorrow and also
- 9:23there's a Chinese flight this weekend, I believe, Saturday.
- 9:34Let me see. Yeah, the Long March is on
- 9:42Saturday and that is the Long March. 7 is bringing up the Tian
- 9:49Zhu 2, which is the second module for the space station.
- 9:53The Chinese space station, which has propulsive units and Other
- 10:01attachments. So it'll keep the first module
- 10:03in space. So we're going to keep an eye on
- 10:05that too because the first booster from the Long March 5,
- 10:10came back to Earth in a fiery Blaze and it was uncontrolled.
- 10:17So we're going to keep an eye on that and make sure that we get.
- 10:20If we have another tracker up, that would be really great.
- 10:22We could figure that out too. Also Curiosity Rover has found
- 10:48organic salt. While NASA has found them and
- 10:59the Rover. May be able to provide detection
- 11:07of the salts on the surface. It's a pretty cool thing that's
- 11:15going on cells could be important.
- 11:17Piece of Martian, organic puzzle.
- 11:18NASA scientists find. It's a jet propulsion laboratory
- 11:22thing. NASA team has found the organic
- 11:24salts, are likely present on Mars like shards of ancient
- 11:28Pottery. These salts are the chemical
- 11:30remnants of organic compounds such as those previously.
- 11:33Detective, my Mars Curiosity Rover, organic compounds and
- 11:36salts on. Mars could have formed by
- 11:39geologic processes or be remnants of ancient microbial
- 11:43life. Man.
- 12:00This show is brought to you by backblaze.
- 12:03I use back place to back up my podcast, my video files, all of
- 12:07my writing stuff, and all my photos.

- 12:12just $7 a month. You can backup your own
- 12:15documents photos videos. Drawings projects, all of your
- 12:18data and access your backed up data from anywhere in the world
- 12:22using the web app and you can access the files on your mobile
- 12:25to iOS Android apps all covered. And this is the cool part.
- 12:28This is my favorite part. You can restore it by Male, a
- 12:31hard drive will come to your house with all your data shipped
- 12:34to your door. I could come to your business to
- 12:36and you can restore return refund program so you can buy a
- 12:39hard drive restore, send the hard drive back within 30 days
- 12:43and get a full refund. So basically they ship you this
- 12:46hard drive and then you ship it back and you don't ever pay for
- 12:49it which is the perfect program for somebody who has huge files.
- 12:52You don't want to waste days and days downloading terabytes and
- 12:56teraflops of data. And if you're worried about
- 12:58accidentally deleting your files, Two bucks extra month,
- 13:01you can increase your retention history to one year, and I use

- 14:59as Hydraulics. Oh cool Rodger.
- 15:01I didn't see that one. That's pretty cool.
- 15:17Organic salt. What's that interesting?
- 15:19What microbes make salt? We could take a look at another.
- 15:31Take a look at this real quick decades ago.
- 15:33Scientists predicted, that organic compounds on.
- 15:35Mars could be breaking down into salts.
- 15:38These salts, they argued would be more likely to persist on the
- 15:41Martian surface of big complex molecules such as the ones that
- 15:44are associated with the functioning of living things.
- 15:59Not sure exactly what kind of Organics organic compounds would
- 16:04create these salts, but I'm assuming organic.
- 16:08Let's see. These salts are the chemical
- 16:10remnants of organic compounds such as those.
- 16:12If they detected by Rover organic compounds insults on
- 16:16Mars could have formed by geologic processes or by
- 16:19remnants of ancient microbial life.
- 16:21The only thing I know, The only thing we know right now.
- 17:09We got some fungus is maybe up on Mars.
- 17:11That would be great. Yeah, if we find.
- 17:18So what would you two man? If we find life on another
- 17:21planet, if we find Life on Mars, Everything's going to change,
- 17:26100%. Everything's going to change.
- 17:31People are going to be astounded.
- 17:32People are going to freak out if it's a microbe.
- 17:34People aren't going to freak out as much.
- 17:38As there would be like a little gray guy, you know, like a
- 17:40little a little space alien that you see on movies.
- 17:43But it answers, the question that everyone has always asked
- 17:47since the beginning of humankind since we laid out under the
- 17:53stars It's like, man, what is up there?
- 17:59What's going on? Those things are so far away.
- 18:05And you wonder, you know, are we alone?
- 18:09And hopefully in the next 10, 15 years we can actually answer
- 18:12that. The technology is getting so
- 18:13much better and now that we have something like, Starship being
- 18:17built, the the possibility that we start sending more people to
- 18:24other planets, you know, that we send people to Mars.
- 18:28It's going to be astounding how much more we can do on those
- 18:32other planets. It might take a week for a Rover
- 18:38to move 5 feet. Into you know Zappa rock with a
- 18:44laser takes, a person to take a couple steps, pick up the rock,
- 18:49put it in the bag, take it back to the lab zap.
- 18:52It later, take a bunch of rocks back, good move.
- 18:55You could travel so far with people as opposed to Rovers you
- 18:59can also transport vehicles to Mars with a Starship.
- 19:04Those Vehicles could allow people to move around more
- 19:07autonomously, then try to walk. You think Rovers will only fly
- 19:13in the future? I think Rovers will do both.
- 19:15I think Rovers will Rove, and I also think that Rovers will, I
- 19:19mean, the little helicopters, the Mars helicopter.
- 19:20I think that's going to be a thing.
- 19:26I think it's going to be a real actual thing where we send other
- 19:30helicopters up there with more technology better technology.
- 19:34They fly better. They go further, they go
- 19:37farther, they go head, like, you know, they go basically like a
- 19:44DJ, I drone right now think about current drone technology
- 19:50here on Earth, just kind of transfer that to Mars.
- 19:55That's what's going to happen in the future and you know little
- 19:59GoPros on them. And eventually we'll have basis.
- 20:03You know, I've home bases where we can have people in these
- 20:09compounds and the people will be reviewing the footage.
- 20:14The drones will go out on exploratory missions.
- 20:19Come back to the home base or to a charging pad.
- 20:26Upload the video to the home-based, the video uploads,
- 20:29the video down to earth, and then Earth, you know, shares it
- 20:33with everybody. But also those drones can have
- 20:38lidar radar, Etc. So they can check out what kind
- 20:41of What kind of molecules of elements are in the soil?
- 20:57With operational Starship, I'd send a big drill to Mars, Asik
- 21:00water, that would be pretty cool.
- 21:04A big drill on the edge of the water ice on the poles, would be
- 21:09pretty cool. What to say, thanks to a few
- 21:25people that have been helping us out on patreon.
- 21:31Some of our latest members we get Scout.
- 21:33We're pretty well, leather up. Max Capacity, Lily, Carlos, Dean
- 21:38Mary Ann Mars gaming, Olay disturb, 47 Marius, JJ, silk
- 21:42Zachary, Bray Jerry Welch. Marty, the treks that's just a
- 21:46few of our patreon patrons, and if you want to help out, here's
- 21:51the patreon link. I can continue bringing you
- 21:55Starship coverage every single day.
- 22:10Thanks for a large human ecology Kalisto is far better option
- 22:13than Mars, plenty of water. Yeah, that's the other thing.
- 22:15Like, why do we what we want to go to Mars so bad?
- 22:20You know, we've always want to go to Mars, of course, like it's
- 22:22the closest planet that we know, has the possibility to sustain
- 22:27us in some form or another and you know, why do we pick Mars
- 22:33and not something that has abundance of actual water.
- 22:39You know, Mars does have Briny water.
- 22:44And it has flowing water, a little bit of flowing water,
- 22:46seasonal flowing water. So I can see where people would
- 22:50think that that's a good idea as well.
- 22:53But it seems like it's so terrifying to go to Mars because
- 22:58it's like Mount Everest. You know, going to Mount Everest
- 23:04is no big deal, or it is no big deal now but it was a huge deal.
- 23:08When we first started going to Mount Everest like peeking Mount
- 23:12Everest. But now people do it all the
- 23:15time. So eventually give it a like 15
- 23:21years, 15, 20 years, People be going back and forth tomorrow so
- 23:25I'll be Supply ships going to Mars before people go there.
- 23:29I mean, if they want to get there by 2035, they have to send
- 23:33supplies their first. They have to send supplies
- 23:36before they send people. That's kind of what they're
- 23:38doing with Artemis. They're sending supplies,
- 23:39sending over sending a Recon Vehicles, Etc before the
- 23:43actually send people, so they're going to have to do the same
- 23:46thing with the Mars missions. They're going to have to send
- 23:50Rovers and Recon that you have to send a lot of supplies like
- 23:55cargo cargo cargo before they send people and When they
- 24:02actually do eventually, start sending people to Mars.
- 24:05It's got to be the trip. That's the most hazardous not
- 24:08living on Mars, because I have everything set up there to live
- 24:11on a like a halfway decent life. That's the plan.
- 24:15It's going to be treacherous at Elon Musk is actually already
- 24:18said he meant some of you might not come back like the majority
- 24:21of people might not come back. when we first start doing these
- 24:26missions, So it's like anything else.
- 24:33Like if you got to go up to Everest man, it is going to be
- 24:36terrifying. You don't know, if you get a
- 24:38comeback, you have a good, a better possibility now than when
- 24:42they started, but If you go would, if you were one of the
- 24:47first people to go to the top of Everest, you are like, you're a
- 24:53pioneer. So I would assume that the first
- 24:59people to go to Mars are going to be pioneers and civil, Mark,
- 25:03come to come back. Some of them won't plan to come
- 25:07back. Some will stay there.
- 25:19I heard a scientist. What said that the obsession
- 25:21with Mars then a fly by the Venus not Landing is terror.
- 25:26Is MM. Oh so you could so you can land.
- 25:29Oh nice like a terraform nice. Tara like lant.
- 25:33That's good. That's funny.
- 25:35The I think that's another thing, too.
- 25:39You can plant a flag on Mars. Can't do that on Saturn.
- 25:45Can't really do that on Jupiter. So the best place to plant a
- 25:48flag other than the moon would be Mars.
- 25:53Venus is no way. It does melt So Mars is our next
- 25:57logical step. Then from their venture out
- 26:02further, go towards Saturn. I mean, I think a Starship
- 26:04could, I mean, they're planning on Starship.
- 26:07Deep space Starship. So solar system Starship yes
- 26:13it'll happen but eventually there will be a deep space
- 26:16Starship. I know Gwen Gwen shot while I
- 26:21said so many times in so many interviews that, you know, Mars
- 26:27is just the beginning, the Earth is just the beginning.
- 26:36And that once they get to Mars, that proves basically the
- 26:40Starship can go to the outer reaches of our solar system.
- 26:45This is basically the same thing.
- 26:48If you go to Mars, you can just keep flying basically, go over
- 26:52wherever you want to, do you have to land and not so much,
- 26:56but you can continue going, continue, venturing out, It just
- 27:03be an exploratory Mission, doesn't have to have humans on
- 27:07it, you just have sensors and cargo and satellites and things
- 27:11like that telescopes. That would be pretty cool to put
- 27:14a Space Telescope out by Saturn. You know, put probes but you get
- 27:19launched thousands of microsatellites.
- 27:23That are a little probes into the solar system to measure.
- 27:29I mean. Everything to measure.
- 27:36Sun radiation everything, solarwinds Etc to make it easier
- 27:42for people to travel through the solar system in the future.
- 27:45So yeah, there's so many possibilities.
- 27:50Do you think they'll skip SN 17? Yes, I think they're going to
- 27:53scrap it. There's actually a giant hole in
- 27:56the side of it right now so there's no there's no way
- 27:58they're going to keep it. After Mars should be one or two
- 28:04Butters moods. I Mars.
- 28:06I agree with you. Europa, I think they should go
- 28:10to Europa. Yeah, Roger, they they did a
- 28:20flyby, right. That's what they going to do
- 28:21with Mars to you. Do a flyby of Mars, they have to
- 28:25test it. They have to test to see if
- 28:26people can actually get there and come back.
- 28:29So they're going to do a flyby. And then they'll come back.
- 28:33They might actually, they might do a flyby pick up supplies
- 28:38along the way. I'm not sure, but they'll
- 28:40probably do it in orbit around the around.
- 28:42Mars come back to earth, landed the land, the astronauts and
- 28:47then, I mean, that's a long trip so that'll be crazy.
- 28:55Mega spaceships space stations will become normal.
- 28:59I think eventually. Yeah, it's going to become some
- 29:01Battlestar Galactica stuff eventually then we'll hear you
- 29:04know in the background will hear the theme music.
- 29:07Did it? Did it, did it?
- 29:08Did it? Didn't I started re-watching
- 29:12that it's such a good show man, such a good show.
- 29:22Europa has too much radiation. Callisto is better, okay?
- 29:30I haven't really look too much into Callisto.
- 29:47Not too much. I'll look into that, though.
- 29:52It's pretty interesting. Lee so is Jupiter.
- 29:58Second largest moon and the third largest moon in our solar
- 30:01system. It's about the same size as
- 30:02mercury in the past. Some scientists thought of
- 30:05Christa was a boring ugly, duck bun, and a hunk of rock and Ice.
- 30:08It's because the crater covered world didn't seem to have much
- 30:12going on. No active volcanoes are shifting
- 30:14tectonic plates, but data from NASA's Galileo.
- 30:16Spacecraft in the 1990s, revealed Callisto may have a
- 30:19secret, a salty, ocean beneath its surface.
- 30:24That finding put the one seemingly dead moon on the list
- 30:27of Worlds that could possibly Harbor life.
- 30:32At least. It was discovered January 7, 16
- 30:3510, why Italian scientist Galileo, Galilei along with
- 30:40Jupiter's three. Other largest moons, Ganymede,
- 30:43Europa and IO Callisto was named for a woman turned into a bear
- 30:47by Zeus in Greek mythology. Size and distance.
- 30:54Callisto is Jupiter. Second largest moon after
- 30:57Ganymede, and it's the third largest moon in our solar
- 30:59system. It's also as big as mercury
- 31:01Kalisto, sir, competent car circumference at its equator is
- 31:05about nine. Thousand four hundred miles,
- 31:0815,000 km Callisto orbits about 1 million seven, 170,000 miles
- 31:15from Jupiter, and Jupiter orbits about 484 million miles from our
- 31:20sun. It's pretty far away.
- 31:22We're going to freeze when we go there.
- 31:26It's probably really cold. Let's see, atmosphere Callisto
- 31:33is one of the, on the list of possible places where life could
- 31:36exist in our solar system beyond Earth day together by the
- 31:39Galileo spacecraft. And from Models created by
- 31:41scientists indicates. Callisto may have a salty.
- 31:43Ocean that's interacting with a layer of rocks, but 155 miles
- 31:47beneath the surface. That's pretty far man.
- 31:52Key conditions, for creating life and oxygen has been
- 31:56detected in the exosphere. 155 miles beneath the surface.
- 32:06That's like a two and a half hour drive.
- 32:16If you're going 60 miles an hour, that's, that's a pretty,
- 32:20that's that's pretty far. So 155 miles.
- 32:26I wait the salty ocean that's interacting with a layer of
- 32:29rocks. Okay.
- 32:30Wait, hold on a second. I think I may have read that
- 32:32wrong. Are the Rock's 100, okay?
- 32:38So it says here, Callisto may have a salty.
- 32:40Ocean. That's interacting with a layer
- 32:42of rocks about. 155 miles below the surface Key conditions for
- 32:47creating a life. So how deep is the ocean or how
- 32:51deep is the The Ice? Clue cells Rocky, icy surfaces,
- 32:55the oldest and most heavily cratered in our solar system.
- 32:58The surface is about 4 billion years old.
- 33:02And it's been pummeled, likely by comets and asteroids.
- 33:04So therefore like asteroids and comets could have brought life
- 33:07to the surface because the impact craters are still
- 33:10visible. Scientists think, the Moon is
- 33:11little geologic activity, there are no active, volcanoes are
- 33:14tectonic shifting to a road craters.
- 33:18It's a thin carbon dioxide exosphere, extremely thin
- 33:22atmosphere. More recent Research indicates
- 33:26Kalisto also has oxygen and hydrogen in its exosphere.
- 33:40Okay, so the ocean may be 155 miles below the surface, okay?
- 33:50And then hear from NASA's nasa.gov, more recent research
- 33:55reveals that this ocean may be located deeper beneath the
- 33:57surface than previously thought or may not exist at all.
- 34:03If there is an ocean, it may be integral interacting with rocks,
- 34:07giving Kalisto, a chance of supporting life.
- 34:19Hmm, interesting, so will be will be interesting to see what
- 34:26happens when we actually send probes to that place.
- 34:35Jason could be thermal vents, right?
- 34:46SN 15s going to go bye-bye. That's the I think that's the
- 34:51plan. I think sf-15 is go by and then
- 34:54I send 16 is going to come out. I think they're I really do
- 34:56think they're going to do the orbital Tower first though I
- 34:58think that's going to be the next sort of I can't remember
- 35:02who said it up and chat but somebody said they're going to
- 35:05probably do the orbital Tower first before they launched this
- 35:08at 16 so they can do that and you know then get the crane out
- 35:12of there. How to do a little bit of
- 35:15research to see how the other segments of the launch Tower.
- 35:19The orbital launch Tower is going but Shouldn't be that long
- 35:25from now because I mean they have to get it up by July so
- 35:29they have to get all the internals and everything on this
- 35:31launch Tower. So that's going to be, it's
- 35:39going to be at least a month before they get that done.
- 35:43That's going to be it's going to be a tough one to get done by
- 35:46July first. I think
- 36:00But I do think they have to move all these cranes.
- 36:29They need to work on the tower day and night.
- 36:31Yeah, they really do have to work on that Tower like
- 36:34constantly. Now to get that thing up and
- 36:37running a sap. Because if they don't Starship
- 36:44SM 20 full stack might not make it to orbit early July.
- 36:53I think they could pull it off though.
- 36:54I really do. We're going to be doing a
- 37:01starlink launch tomorrow, over an art, which channel to.
- 37:05So if you are not familiar with what we do over on Twitch, I
- 37:11play games, it just hang out and we talked about space stuff
- 37:14while I play and enjoy ourselves and just it's very relaxed over
- 37:18there. But we're going to do a starlink
- 37:23launch there. Tomorrow and during the coast
- 37:28phase, I'll be playing some games.
- 37:31We'll be hanging out chatting and stuff too.
- 37:42We don't expect them to be extended.
- 37:43Hopefully we don't, you know, hopefully they don't do anything
- 37:50weird with SM 15 in the next couple days here.
- 37:55Hopefully does move it back to the Bay will probably descent
- 37:57disassemble it because there's really no reason to keep it
- 37:59around. You know, if they're not going
- 38:02to be using it there's no real reason to keep it.
- 38:06I mean even for a Rocket Garden as just wasted space, you know
- 38:10we want we really do want to see like we want to see cool stuff
- 38:15right. We want them to have sort of
- 38:16like a history Rocket Garden kind of thing.
- 38:19I said, 15 is the first Starship that actually landed and didn't
- 38:22read so it would be nice to have it.
- 38:25In a little, Little Rocket Garden little historical area,
- 38:30but they're going to be so many things. that Starship is going
- 38:35to, you know, It's going to accomplish in between now and,
- 38:40you know, the future, whenever the future ends there, the
- 38:43Starship. But if you I would love to to
- 38:48keep it around just to have it as a sort of like a landmark,
- 38:53you know, as you're coming in to Starbase maybe have SM 15 but
- 38:57it's also going to change so much, you know.
- 38:59Starships going to change so much.
- 39:00Even within SN 25 isn't going to look anything like SN 15.
- 39:13We want to see progress. I agree with you.
- 39:15I'm like man just get rid of all the old junk.
- 39:18It's like why keep the old stuff around?
- 39:22There's no real reason for it. There's really no reason to keep
- 39:25that stuff around. Other than you know some
- 39:28Nostalgia like oh man that was so cool when I said 15 launched.
- 39:32Yeah it was but also you know move forward.
- 39:38It's like when you do spring cleaning for your house, man?
- 39:41Okay, I actually just went through this little bit ago.
- 39:43I got rid of, I donated two garbage bags, full of clothes,
- 39:47the stuff that like fit a little bit weird or whatever.
- 39:51And I'm like stuff that I just never wore any more.
- 39:54I was like, you know, somebody else can wear this as like all
- 39:58that like junk that we don't use, you know, that's what
- 40:01Starship, you know, SN 15. It's not junk, but like they're
- 40:05not going to use it again. So get rid of it, you know,
- 40:09feelings are just feelings, you know?
- 40:11And that's just a, that's a personal thing where like, you
- 40:14got to put your feelings aside be like, you know what, let's
- 40:17get some progress at all up in this thing.
- 40:23SM 25 is lunar that would, that would be cool.
- 40:30We'd all love a little bit of sna.
- 40:32You know, i-i've been in contact with Starship Starbase in case
- 40:38they come up with like, you know, some sort of shrapnel like
- 40:43this helling shrapnel, I want a piece, so I'm on the list I'm
- 40:47going to contact with them. So they've talked to me, they
- 40:55know who I am. I was like, Hey, and that's when
- 41:01I sin I think SNA Am I seriously?
- 41:07Comparing us on 15 to a shirt? Well the grand scheme of things.
- 41:10What are you gonna do with SM 15?
- 41:13He's going to put it, put it in the way of everything else.
- 41:15Put it in the way of progress. Of course, they're completely
- 41:22different things. We know this Starship is a huge
- 41:26rocket. My shirt just fits on my body
- 41:29and those ones that I threw away.
- 41:30Didn't fit that well, So I said, 15 doesn't really fit the new
- 41:34model for Starship. Spring cleaning, may get rid of
- 41:39that stuff. You think if you go on tour
- 41:43around the country, I think they just get rid of it, just trash
- 41:46it. Or use it for, you know, if it
- 41:51could be used for another purpose you know, reuse recycle
- 41:54that kind of thing, that's a pretty good thing too. so, Give
- 42:04the steel to somebody that needs it, you know, use it for another
- 42:08purpose. Recycle it, whatever you got to
- 42:11do, just though, I, you know, I'm a huge Space, X fan, huge
- 42:18Basics, fan everything we do is pretty much cover SpaceX on this
- 42:22channel so I'm like I'm all for the fun stuff like that like
- 42:28take it on a trip around the country you know that would be
- 42:31that would be insane like that would be a crazy thing for them
- 42:34to do. Like there's another thing like
- 42:38that would be that would be a fun thing.
- 42:40But what would be the point, you know, as an engineer, they buy
- 42:45this, if your Elon Musk and you want to do fun stuff.
- 42:48That's cool. But also, as an engineer, why
- 42:52doesn't progress come first? Progress should always come
- 42:57first as far as engineering goes.
- 42:59The fun stuff can be fun rocket. Launches are way more fun than
- 43:02seeing a rocket on a truck? You know, like a grand tour or
- 43:094S in 15, like sure that's cool. and I would love to see us in
- 43:1615, but also, we have an extensive Road system in the US
- 43:22and most people Have access to some sort of vehicle somewhere,
- 43:29right? You know, you can get a bus, you
- 43:31can get a train, there's planes, there's your friend's car, you
- 43:35can get over, whatever you want to do, grab a taxi.
- 43:38So if you want to see a Starship, the best thing to do
- 43:43is to go to Starbase best thing to do is jump in your car and
- 43:46just drive there. And not everybody.
- 43:49I know not everybody has that ability or that opportunity may
- 43:52live in another country or might not have enough money, or you
- 43:55might not have a vehicle, might not have those abilities, but
- 44:00There's even though it would be really cool to get like jimbob
- 44:06farmer guy in the middle Idaho to see a rocket.
- 44:09That'd be pretty sweet. But also not necessary.
- 44:18So though I would love it and it would be really cool to see a
- 44:20Starship like driving down the road that would clog up so many
- 44:25major highways they have a Starship rolling through.
- 44:33What A Lesson, 16 roll out, there's a two-out.
- 44:36So there's a two-hour road closure tomorrow and we're
- 44:41expecting Starship sf-15 to be moved off the pad in the next
- 44:46day or two. And that road closure is
- 44:49probably a guess, you know I guess of like oh yeah maybe this
- 44:54thing's going to move out tomorrow.
- 44:55Maybe they got to move it away to get the old scrap yard
- 44:58buh-bye. Make sure to see how the
- 45:01clamshell opening will work for cargo.
- 45:04Imagine that camera. Oh my God, I'm gonna freak out
- 45:08Jason, I'm gonna freak out so hard when that happens.
- 45:13I'm going to like I'm gonna cry. No joke.
- 45:16Well and also when I see Starship for the first time I'm
- 45:19going to cry like I'm very emotional about this stuff.
- 45:22I have a very have a big passion for this stuff and I always
- 45:26have, you know but seeing this stuff in person like I just saw
- 45:31The crew to launch a little bit ago, very emotional.
- 45:34It was in the morning, you know, it's a night launch basically.
- 45:38So, at a very emotional experience, But when they show
- 45:44those kinds of things, you know when they show like the bay
- 45:47doors opening clamshell bay doors, I'm gonna freak out.
- 45:54But when I go down to, when I go down to Starbase the next month
- 45:58or so definitely get a freak out, bawl my eyes out.
- 46:03Probably, it'll be like I did it man.
- 46:06I didn't like it's my it's my little like the little version.
- 46:10I mean my little kid self is going like to do.
- 46:14You did it? You did it.
- 46:16You saw a rocket launch. So that's the the crew to
- 46:19launch. And now, like a little kid me is
- 46:22going to be like, dude, you're witnessing.
- 46:25Human space flight. Like the new chapter of human
- 46:29spaceflight and little me is, you know, little kid me, my
- 46:35little soul is loving it. So an old me is like, dude, this
- 46:41is so cool. I have a feeling Essence 16 is
- 46:50going to get scrapped. I might be wrong though, but
- 46:53they're already making bn3. so they could be just itching,
- 46:58Essence, 16 and up for focusing on orbital test, I mean it's a
- 47:06pause. It's already built though.
- 47:10I guess that doesn't matter though.
- 47:12I mean if they Why waste time if they got everything they need
- 47:17from SM 15. Take that time.
- 47:26Build s n 20. And just go from there.
- 47:29How crazy would that be if it's like we never saw a 7/16 on the
- 47:32pad and it's already built. I freaked out.
- 47:38That would be amazing. We go straight to orbital.
- 47:42I mean, weirder things have happened.
- 47:53And they don't really plan on Landing SN 20, you know, they're
- 47:57going to be landing in the ocean.
- 47:59So right off Kawaii, couple right out in the ocean.
- 48:07Is this m 15 and 16 twins? Yeah.
- 48:10Other than there might be some software changes or something
- 48:13but basically, same Hardware. Very small changes you know,
- 48:22different heat tiles, things like that.
- 48:24Better welds I think on 16 than 15 all the interior is as far as
- 48:30we know. Like we don't really know what's
- 48:32inside as far as upgrades to 15 and 16 but we know 15 has had
- 48:38hundreds of upgrades from 11 and we're assuming that 16 has had
- 48:41those same upgrades. So SM, 15 and 16 are probably
- 48:46pretty. Twinsies.
- 48:53Very close. The lox delivery.
- 49:04Yeah. That was that was another thing
- 49:07that just happened. Yeah.
- 49:08Couple days ago. With think they wouldn't care
- 49:12about keeping those tanks topped off with no Flight Plan.
- 49:17Yeah, that's true. You know those that's another
- 49:21thing we can look at us. Another clue was a locks
- 49:23delivery. I was watching lab Padre stream
- 49:26and I love those guys. I've been on the show a couple
- 49:28times or once actually and very cool dudes.
- 49:33Very, very nice people and The I don't remember which flight it
- 49:41was that I was on for might be an SM.
- 49:45Eight can remember it's a long time, it was a little bit ago.
- 49:52Try to work with them on something else too.
- 49:54So pretty cool. Anyway, yeah, the locks delivery
- 50:01was out of nowhere. Was there a new road closure?
- 50:12Yes. Kyle.
- 50:12There's a road closure for tomorrow from 2:00.
- 50:15Till 4:00? That's the only one I know of.
- 50:22And they may have other ones who coming up.
- 50:25It will keep you up-to-date with that.
- 50:33So tomorrow road closure two hours, that's plenty of time to
- 50:36get Starship sf-15 off the pad and to the high Bay or wherever
- 50:40they're going to scrap it. Get it out of there.
- 50:45Or maybe they're bringing in more orbital launch Tower parts
- 50:49to could, they do both? They have a two-hour window cuz
- 50:58they move SN 15 in an hour then get other parts into the orbital
- 51:02Tower area within an hour. I mean, if they were very, very,
- 51:10very quick about it and yes they could do that.
- 51:17But I don't see that happening. That's a lot to get done in 2
- 51:22hours. Yeah, we were speculating that
- 51:41SM. 15 would fly again due to Ilan saying that he would love
- 51:44to fly it again but I mean with the but the Cadence of launch
- 51:52and what they need to get done, if they want to make the July
- 51:551st, launch date, dude, I am going to I'm literally going to
- 51:59flip out. I have the plan to make Studio.
- 52:03Be the first, the first plan for Studio B is to go to Texas,
- 52:09right? Go to Boca, Chica, check it out,
- 52:12check out the area. Film Starship, orbital launch.
- 52:21I have a, I have a place that I'm on a film from to, I gotta
- 52:23get an idea. So I know what, I know a guy
- 52:27that knows a guy that has the closest spot that you can be.
- 52:34To Starship when it launches. No, gay been in talks with a guy
- 52:41and could have access to that area.
- 52:44So, The. That's the first plan orbital
- 52:54launch. I will be there.
- 52:55I will be there no matter what happens that's going to happen.
- 53:01Going to see what happens in the next month or so.
- 53:09As far as launch times go. But the fact that SN 15s being
- 53:13scrapped and SN 16, Doesn't, you know, there's no real big
- 53:21improvements for 16 and 15. So I don't know if they're going
- 53:26to do 16, they may skip 16 now that I think about a little bit
- 53:32more and that's also me being alike.
- 53:36That's also me being like please launch this orbital rocket, you
- 53:42know. Like that's me going like hey I
- 53:45just want to see the single orbital will see the full stack.
- 53:49I I want to freak out. I want to drive past it.
- 53:54See this gigantic monolith of a structure of a rocket.
- 54:00What a drive down highway for with a GoPro on the outside of
- 54:02my camera. You get footage.
- 54:05Of the drive-by. That's what's going to happen.
- 54:13So you know you say you put things out the universe and you
- 54:16make them happen yourself and you have help from everybody.
- 54:20You know, everybody that's here and chat.
- 54:23Who's like the video? Everybody who's just here
- 54:25watching, like getting your help right now, this is this.
- 54:29How you can help you get to Starbase.
- 54:32And start Studio B. So yeah, you're part of this,
- 54:37you're part of this whole Adventure that we're going to
- 54:39have together. It's crazy.
- 54:48Drive-by media, that's a good name for a studio or for a media
- 54:52company drive-by media. I have I do have an idea for a
- 54:59media company name. We're working on that to getting
- 55:02everything all legitimised and stuff and you know, especially,
- 55:08we're going to have a second studio and stuff too, so Would
- 55:13love to see another suborbital flight without fog.
- 55:16Yeah, I agree with you 100%. I agree with you that would be
- 55:19amazing. SpaceX did upload some new
- 55:24footage of SN 15 from The Lodge in the landing.
- 55:30So you get better views of SN 15 from those cameras but also
- 55:38don't really know you know if we're going to get another
- 55:41flight. What do you think will be done
- 55:50first? Is that orbit?
- 55:59Or the launch table. Woo, that's a good question.
- 56:01I'm not sure. Leave your boat launch Tower
- 56:05there. I think the tower is going to be
- 56:07done really fast. I think the tower will at least
- 56:12it's going to be perceived pretty done.
- 56:18Because once it's actually built just running tubes, man.
- 56:25Put the plumbing in there. I know this more than that in an
- 56:29elevator and stuff like that, but but I think the tower can
- 56:38can be done really fast. I think, once they get those
- 56:41other sections on it, I think the other sections will probably
- 56:44take another week to get over there.
- 56:49You think you're going to launch it with that one at our stub?
- 56:52Do you think? I was going to say.
- 56:57Do you think they're going to just wait, I don't know if
- 56:59they're going to relaunch. Because there's I don't know if
- 57:06they can get any more information or MSN 15 that they
- 57:09already didn't get. It's we Elon and see if he'll
- 57:15just be like what are they going to have a go at the start SpaceX
- 57:25Starship? Booster stage early July I think
- 57:28they're just going to launch it. I don't think they're going to.
- 57:32I don't think there's going to be any.
- 57:34I mean I think there's gonna be tests.
- 57:35Of course they're going to have to be test.
- 57:38Hey, what's up, dude? Catching the tail end of the
- 57:42broadcast today. Thank you sp for the update.
- 57:48Yeah man, no problem. That's what I'm here for.
- 57:54Also, if you could, you know, we're trying to do the
- 57:58subscriber go or try to get the 80 thousand Subs.
- 58:01We're almost there too. so, we got What are we at right now?
- 58:10Let me check. Actually, let's see the actual
- 58:12the actual counter here as far as Subs go.
- 58:20Seventy-nine thousand seven hundred and fifty-nine.
- 58:22I wonder if I could show this on screen, that would be funny
- 58:25actually see the live count 78759.
- 58:29So we're really close. We're really close to 280
- 58:31thousand Subs, holy cow. The know we were that close, I
- 58:36don't really I don't really check that much.
- 58:40We discussed Senator Sanders. Oh not yet know we have it.
- 58:43That was going to be a I was gonna be like a video video.
- 58:48I was going to be like a produced video.
- 58:51It's it's Bernie's going after Bo man.
- 58:57I met that dude. I'm at the duty is pretty nice.
- 59:00Is a nice guy, but I'm in Burlington.
- 59:05And how funny it like I used to live in Burlington Vermont and
- 59:08how funny is it? That I met Bernie Sanders in the
- 59:11line to Ben and Jerry's. I was getting ice cream.
- 59:14One day, Bernie Sanders was behind me in line.
- 59:19I was like, hey, that's Bernie but at that time I didn't know
- 59:21anything about Bernie or like politics or anything.
- 59:24One of my friends was like, Hey That's Bernie Sanders and I was
- 59:27like who I was like oh I don't know anything about this guy.
- 59:32Like Bernie Sanders, the guy, sounded our guy I was like oh
- 59:37you got me? And so they were like, we should
- 59:43say hi and I was like, go for it.
- 59:45Like, I don't care. I was like, I'll go do it.
- 59:48So I was like, hey, mister Sanders.
- 59:49How you doing is like You know, basically had a little
- 59:54conversation about ice cream and like he said, we got ice cream
- 59:58you getting today and I was like, I'll probably just vanilla
- 1:00:01pretty basic. So yeah, this is a pretty fun
- 1:00:08thing. And then I saw him like reading
- 1:00:10a book under a tree later. I was like, what?
- 1:00:13It's guys like typical Americana.
- 1:00:16Super nice guy, though. Super nice.
- 1:00:20Gentle. He's seems like a very gentle
- 1:00:22person. But what he's doing to Blue
- 1:00:26origin is not gentle. Tell you that holy cow.
- 1:00:42Straight to the bank, straight to the pocketbook.
- 1:00:47Do they are regular? Yeah.
- 1:00:48Isn't that weird? Because they they put on a big
- 1:00:50show, you know? And then when you meet him,
- 1:00:53you're like, oh, you're just a guy, like you're just a dude.
- 1:01:05I would done a lot of research into the Sanders thing yet Jude.
- 1:01:08So I saw it on the headlines and I'm doing a little bit more
- 1:01:11research today and Hanging out during this show.
- 1:01:18Unfortunately, I do have to leave in like 5 minutes though.
- 1:01:22Take a break here for a little bit.
- 1:01:23I'll leave the stream on anybody.
- 1:01:25He wants to continue watching Starship
- 1:01:39So, do you think they're going to scrap as M16?
- 1:01:43You think there's going to be like, yeah, let's go to SM 20 or
- 1:01:46do you think they're gonna launch sn6 Team?
- 1:01:55I don't see why they wouldn't launch Essence 16 other than if
- 1:01:58they got everything they need from 15.
- 1:02:01That's it. That's all I can see.
- 1:02:05But I don't know if they did, nobody really does.
- 1:02:17When you're a Starbase do, would you take a job at the booster
- 1:02:19tent? If they were offered one?
- 1:02:21I don't know what I could even do in the booster tent.
- 1:02:23How do you know what? I could do a SpaceX to be honest
- 1:02:26with you. They need somebody to host a
- 1:02:31podcast or a show or something. Sure.
- 1:02:39They will fight if it doesn't slow down construction.
- 1:02:40Yeah, that's what I'm thinking, man.
- 1:02:42We were having a discussion about that earlier.
- 1:02:44If, if SN 16, it pretty much the same thing as SN 15, it's pretty
- 1:02:50close. if they got everything for 15 that they need, Why spend
- 1:02:57that week prepping SN 16 trying to fly it cetera?
- 1:03:03when they could be using that time to build the orbital Tower,
- 1:03:08you know, get ready for an orbital launch, like just have
- 1:03:11everything, moving all those parts moving at the same time.
- 1:03:14Yeah, it's going to be a, it's going to be a weird couple weeks
- 1:03:17here. They may move 15 to Pate to
- 1:03:23allow flight. Yeah, that's true too.
- 1:03:25They may, they may move. They may scrap 15 all together.
- 1:03:29Looks like it's not looking good for 15 right now.
- 1:03:35But SN 16. Yeah, SNCC might be moving out
- 1:03:40to the pad tomorrow. Then I'll have fifteen to
- 1:03:42sixteen next to each other and then 116 lands, perfectly, 100%
- 1:03:48perfectly. I don't have to Starships there
- 1:03:53and then I'll have to start doing the orbital tower.
- 1:03:55Now, since the orbital Towers already started, would they risk
- 1:04:01the orbital Tower? If something goes wrong and I
- 1:04:05know Starship lands further away than the launch pad.
- 1:04:09The landing pads further away, but would they risk the orbital
- 1:04:12Tower to have another launch? So that's another thing you got
- 1:04:19to think about, Because it's like, it's not close but it's
- 1:04:23also not very far away. So if we get a red, they could
- 1:04:28do a lot of damage to the Tower and what they've already built.
- 1:04:31So, we do know that pad B is they poured some new concrete or
- 1:04:38cement underneath pad, be fixed up some some areas under there.
- 1:04:45So we know that they're, you know, they plan on using that
- 1:04:48again. I mean, if they didn't want to
- 1:04:49use that again, that they wouldn't but they'll definitely
- 1:04:55static fire. Are things on it, at least.
- 1:05:00Is it going to have to? They're going to have to at
- 1:05:01least static fire SM, 20? If they don't do 16 and 15.
- 1:05:10The tower better be able to take it.
- 1:05:12That's what we hope. So right but I mean a full if
- 1:05:19you get a full-scale Starship crashing into that Tower, the
- 1:05:22tower is not going to I mean it'll it'll Bend sure I don't
- 1:05:31know though. You never know.
- 1:05:32I may just destroy the Starship. I mean those towers are pretty
- 1:05:37beefy, man. So these are all, you know,
- 1:05:45these are this is just an open discussion for everything too.
- 1:05:55Everything is landed on tart. Yeah, they've been pretty close
- 1:05:57to Target, even with Reds. But there's always, you know,
- 1:06:17there's never one hundred percent chance that it's going
- 1:06:19to be perfect every single time. So, The tower should be able to
- 1:06:26take it. I'm assuming they built it.
- 1:06:29So it's going to be super strong.
- 1:06:38So I'll let you live for orbital.
- 1:06:40I I'm right there with you but I if they get all this stuff done
- 1:06:45fast and we still have all of this month and June so, they
- 1:06:54have, they have a lot of time, still And how funny is that?
- 1:07:01That that seems like a lot of time to build an orbital class
- 1:07:05rocket like a month. Like what?
- 1:07:14Like that doesn't like somebody like blue origin.
- 1:07:18It's going to take them years to build an orbital class rocket.
- 1:07:24And we're like, I had to throw up together.
- 1:07:27In a month and I know SpaceX has been building Starship for a
- 1:07:31while now. So they're not starting, you
- 1:07:34know, from from start to finish of an orbital class rocket in
- 1:07:38one month, but it's kind of funny that that's the timetable
- 1:07:41now we're like yeah, you know, like a month and a half.
- 1:07:43He could probably build a Starship at that time.
- 1:07:45And an orbital Tower, get all the plumbing at all, the all the
- 1:07:48tanks, ready. Build a whole tank farm for it.
- 1:07:51Yeah, about a month or two like that seems normal.
- 1:07:55Now how crazy is that? That.
- 1:08:00Where am I looking to move in relative to a relation to Boca
- 1:08:03Chica? I'm not sure yet in that area,
- 1:08:07of course like, Brownsville area, probably Brownsville looks
- 1:08:11like fun, though. so somewhere there may be a little bit north,
- 1:08:16there's a little city of North depending depending on what's
- 1:08:22going on. And you know what property
- 1:08:24values are like, at that point and what's available like I've
- 1:08:30look, I've talked to a couple Realtors and they're like, man,
- 1:08:33I'm not trying to sell you a like one of the guys that I
- 1:08:35talked to was like, I'm not trying to sell you a place, but
- 1:08:39everybody who's moving here for SpaceX has taken.
- 1:08:40All the really nice Apartments now is like Nikes, okay?
- 1:08:46It's like, well, might be time to build some new ones.
- 1:08:52So it's a real legit thing. You know, I've been talking to
- 1:08:54actual people and getting ideas of where to live and posting on
- 1:08:59different message, boards and forums and stuff and talking to
- 1:09:03locals as in them what they think is a good place to be.
- 1:09:12Have you been to a launch yet? I've been to not a Starship
- 1:09:15launch now, but I've been to crew too.
- 1:09:21There was just a little bit ago. But I do know a guy and do know
- 1:09:28a guy that knows a guy. The runs a place that will let
- 1:09:35you film from their property. It's very close.
- 1:09:39Very good view of the launch site 2.
- 1:09:45So I got that all taken care of much as I can.
- 1:09:50So my friends for now I'm going to have to take off but I do
- 1:09:55appreciate All of you hanging out sticking around.
- 1:10:01It'll leave the stream up so you can watch SN 15 and chat amongst
- 1:10:05yourselves about Starships but I got to go for a bit and I'll be
- 1:10:10back tomorrow on Twitch for our starlink launch.
- 1:10:14Check this out. There's our twitch link go over
- 1:10:17there. Make sure to follow its we do
- 1:10:19have a fun Fun launch plan. We're going to do a launch.

- 1:10:26We're going to have some video game play time so it'll be
- 1:10:30interesting, it'll be fun. So check that out.
