- 0:19Hello, you are listening to America Out Loud News Radio.
- 0:23This is your man Monk, and we are here with a very special guest.
- 0:29D Ray Hannah.
- 0:32But before we get into your story.
- 0:36Yes, sir.
- 0:37I got a question for you.
- 0:38Alright.
- 0:40Do you believe us as human beings have the ability to choose, or something or someone is choosing for us?
- 0:55Both things are happening simultaneously at all times.
- 1:00Both things are happening simultaneously at all times.
- 1:04Please explain.
- 1:13But this isn't widely accepted.
- 1:18So most of us run around life thinking we're making choices or we're forfeiting our power to choose over to somebody else, something else, and they're making choices for us.
- 1:33Right.
- 1:34Man, look at life, man.
- 1:36Look at me, man.
- 1:38When they don't know they chose it.
- 1:40Well, we'll let the listeners know a little bit about your backstory, your childhood, and how you got to the point where you can answer that question, because you didn't know that question was coming.
- 1:51The way you can answer that question is so easily and so confidently.
- 1:57Okay.
- 1:58Because I know it wasn't always like that.
- 2:00Never.
- 2:04Never.
- 2:04So I would I would say the understanding of the answer is recent.
- 2:10But the answer is somehow always been there.
- 2:13Like I've always been the person living just outside of how everybody else lives, at least in my mind.
- 2:20So as a child, I was more like a uh black clothes, not gothic, but just dim, dark.
- 2:32But I could pop out and go meet with my friends and stuff like that.
- 2:36Um childhood was spotted with uh lack of a father, uh single mother, trying her best to raise a man and other women.
- 2:47Um struggles, a lot of struggles, but I actually look at those as the blessings nowadays.
- 2:54Feel me?
- 2:54The secret sauce of life, it helps do well.
- 2:58Without those struggles, I wouldn't know how to struggle or overcome my struggles.
- 3:03So uh, but however, most people don't, they never get to that to that place of understanding that everything is working out for you.
- 3:19Yes.
- 3:21Yes, it it's disheartening, bro, because since I've for lack of a better term, became quote unquote woke.
- 3:31Um, I'm looking for this conversation.
- 3:33I'm searching for it.
- 3:34And every conversation I have.
- 3:36The disheartened part is when I catch it.
- 3:39Oh, they don't get it.
- 3:41They don't get it right there in plain sight.
- 3:44Uh, I think it takes a lot of self-exploration to accumulate this type of uh understanding or knowledge if you want to call it that.
- 3:57But we're taught selfishness, self-absorbed, and anything with self is wrong.
- 4:05When it's this it's the key.
- 4:07Seek yeah kingdom of heaven and everything else we added unto you.
- 4:12That's a scripture about falling into the self and coming out with the gifts of creations and laying that at his feet, and then everything else is dropped on your head, just you ain't even asking for the game.
- 4:22The game is being given to you at that point.
- 4:25And at that point, it's uh to even understand if it's real or really wrong, but then you just start testing life, and you start seeing it everywhere, like, oh snaps.
- 4:35Am I the only way to get this?
- 4:37And then you get a blessing in a form of monk the man.
- 4:41And you be like, okay, I'm vindicated.
- 4:44I'm not thinking like this by myself.
- 4:47There's a school of us out there, bro.
- 4:49Yeah, and everybody has different facets, different thoughts, different ideologies, but it's the same, it's the same pie.
- 4:56And uh so as far as your programming goes, because obviously we had to initially be you know given a truth about ourselves.
- 5:06In my book, uh 1215, I call it our indoctrination.
- 5:10Uh and our indoctrinators are mainly mother, father, and then both sides of the grandparents.
- 5:17This is so crucial because they can only give us what they got, but time keeps advancing.
- 5:26What's new will be new today because it wasn't that yesterday.
- 5:31So for my indoctrinators to give me what they give me, I take it as concrete, take it as crack until I go through a life about and feel like and realize like, oh, wait a minute.
- 5:43This doesn't, this isn't equate.
- 5:45This doesn't, this doesn't add up.
- 5:48And for me, that was actually uh one of my biggest struggles of life.
- 5:51I had to deconstruct 30 plus years of indoctrinations, and these indoctrinations were from people that love me.
- 6:01Right.
- 6:02So I clung to what is truth.
- 6:04But then when I go to pull that truth out, and it falls weak in my hand, I'm like, wait a minute.
- 6:10Um snaps it.
- 6:12My belief system is not holding up in certain degrees, certain temperatures, certain pools, certain bins, it will break.
- 6:21So I want to back it up just a little bit.
- 6:24Okay.
- 6:24You talked about grandparents.
- 6:26Now, for me, that was interesting.
- 6:29I had one set of grandparents that were racist.
- 6:34And I I didn't have any relationship with them.
- 6:37Then my other set of grandparents, I never knew.
- 6:40So I never had any grandparents.
- 6:41That's that's I only had my mother.
- 6:44My father died when I was three and a half.
- 6:47That's it.
- 6:48And my aunties and uncles.
- 6:50But they weren't, I wasn't really close to them either.
- 6:53What would you say about that situation?
- 6:55So what I would say is it worked to your benefit because you didn't get the proper indoctrination.
- 7:01So the slate, the mind, the brain, instead of being packed with all this intake since child from all these different people that love us, you had one.
- 7:01So the slate, the mind, the brain, instead of being packed with all this intake since child from all these different people that love us, you had one.
- 7:11So it left you enough room to still explore that.
- 7:11So it left you enough room to still explore that.
- 7:16What about the trauma of this pass down through the genes?
- 7:16What about the trauma of this pass down through the genes?
- 7:23So I'm dealing with that myself right now.
- 7:23So I'm dealing with that myself right now in a new relationship, and
- 7:26Um in a new relationship.
- 7:28And jealousy has been a word thrown around.
- 7:33Manipulator has been a word thrown around.
- 7:36Insecurities, even sadistic.
- 7:39And uh my belief system in myself is somebody can't say something to me, and then somebody else say it, and I don't give it any attention.
- 7:48To me, a two word rather than my name's online.
- 7:51Two people I don't that know don't know each other, say the same thing.
- 7:54I have to apply myself and see, okay, that has to be real to some degree why we're type shelf.
- 8:04So this uh particular incidence, I set with myself and said, shh, yeah, jealousy.
- 8:11She was talking about any any truth to what she's saying, I can look in my history and see it somewhere.
- 8:18Let me call her blow.
- 8:19Let me do some reflection work.
- 8:21I started reflecting the question.
- 8:23You found out the wrong, you found out the wrong.
- 8:25There wasn't where was it at?
- 8:27It was where wasn't it?
- 8:28I said, oh, snaps, we got work to do.
- 8:31So uh Scrady said this.
- 8:35This is the question because I'm very, very vulnerable with uh expressing myself, maybe or over share, like to the tenth degree.
- 8:45So my father calls me today, and I don't speak with this guy on a normal basis.
- 8:50Uh really uh just you pops, man.
- 8:53You ain't been there.
- 8:55I I I've processed the ill feelings I've had about it since my youth.
- 9:00Now it's just uh, what's up, dude?
- 9:04I can get at you like this.
- 9:05Like it's just another man.
- 9:07I can get it to you like that.
- 9:09But he called out the blue and true to me being me.
- 9:13Let me ask you a question, man.
- 9:15Uh, was you are you a jealous dude?
- 9:18Uh no, son, uh have you ever been?
- 9:20Yeah, my child growing up.
- 9:23Ooh.
- 9:24I said, yeah, I'm experiencing some jealous stuff.
- 9:26Ooh, and his uh, what's the name was Sonia?
- 9:31You gotta let it go, because a woman is gonna do what a woman do, regardless if you want it or not, whether you like it or not.
- 9:38So I'm not jealous no more just because I know she's gonna do what she's gonna do.
- 9:43I'm like, dang, dad.
- 9:44Like, is there a point to say I'm not jealous because I know she's gonna do what she's gonna do, and I can be cool with that?
- 9:53Is that our cuss?
- 9:54Or is there a place where we get to where we truly trust and value the woman we're with?
- 9:59And the insecurities are the trust issues or oblivious, you know, you've processed to yourself enough to get to a secure place and self.
- 10:08So I understand that's what I'm going through, but looking back at Pops, I'm like, maybe this is an inherent situation.
- 10:17Uh the same process.
- 10:19Uh my book is 1215, and the theory is TFA and co.
- 10:23is the permeators of life.
- 10:25Our thought, our feeling, our actions is what ties all together, and no one will experience different thoughts, different feelings or different actions.
- 10:33All the same ship.
- 10:35We may express them in different ways, but if I want to correct something that I an infraction I have against myself, even if I understand that it's an inheriting, track it.
- 10:48Where's this thing established at?
- 10:50Like I've been doing with my jealousy.
- 10:53Oh, snaps.
- 10:54Blank slit, I can't find the situation in my life that calls me to be uh a jealous.
- 11:02Uh segue, real quick, side note, uh single parent household, mother, father never been there, seven sisters in total.
- 11:10My admiration for a woman is a deity status.
- 11:15What keeps breaking me, monk, is I understand what I have for a woman, but then I look back at my past and see I've been charging every woman for some jealousy stuff.
- 11:27It's almost disheartening, but I know it's not me.
- 11:31But I know if I can't find it, it must be tied to the makeup of me.
- 11:36But it's still my life to live.
- 11:38So I have to reflect back, find where it's at, okay.
- 11:41Uh it doesn't have a starting point, so it must be a part of me.
- 11:46At that point, it's God given.
- 11:49So now I have to figure out the jewel in that thing that God needed me to grab, because the rest of it is trash.
- 11:57It was wrapped in it.
- 11:59Feel me?
- 11:59The jewel was wrapped in it.
- 12:01So the jealousy came like it came, but there's one spark of goodness somewhere in there.
- 12:06It's a reason why I had it.
- 12:08Right now, I'm searching for that reason.
- 12:11But I will dismiss and dismantle everything else.
- 12:15It's a process.
- 12:16For those that are listening, I I really hope that you are hearing what this young man is saying.
- 12:24It might have.
- 12:26I know that listeners that do listen are very intelligent.
- 12:30But sometimes if you're not really paying attention, it's gonna, it's gonna slip by you.
- 12:34You really gotta pay attention because he's spitting facts.
- 12:39Um but your childhood and not having a father and the way you grew up and your grandparents and all those different people and experiences that shaped, they created that.
- 12:52I call it the hard drive.
- 12:53Yes, sir.
- 12:54The hard drive that's created is most people run with that same operating system their whole life.
- 13:02Whole life.
- 13:03Carl Young says, until you make the unconscious conscious, you will uh I'm just paraphrasing, um, you will be controlled, and you will call it fate or something like that.
- 13:16Until you make the unconscious, you will be making decisions and or being the victim, and you will say this is just how it's happening.
- 13:25And like I said, I'm paraphrasing, but I wish I could remember the exact quote.
- 13:30But you have to put that light in those dark places.
- 13:37You have to find a way to become aware of the patterns that are controlling you.
- 13:44But you don't even know how tough you touch it.
- 13:48Uh downloads, damn those demos, demos.
- 13:51I've been receiving them about this topic this whole week, not even knowing that this is about to happen.
- 13:58So maybe uh y'all just witnessed it the jewel that I was supposed to catch, is what I've just coined, the thought before the thought becomes conscious.
- 14:00Y'all just witnessed it, the jewel that I was supposed to catch is what I've just coined, the thought before the thought becomes conscious.
- 14:10This is what we're supposed to monitor.
- 14:10This is what we're supposed to monitor.
- 14:13This is what we're supposed to watch.
- 14:13This is what we're supposed to watch.
- 14:14This is what we're supposed to tweak to change those situations for ourselves.
- 14:14This is what we're supposed to tweak to change those situations for ourselves.
- 14:20Um if you just watch people and the experience of watching yourself, you'll see yourself do a twitch before you tell yourself to go work out.
- 14:20Um, if you just watch people and the experience of watching yourself, you'll see yourself do a twist.
- 14:34You'll feel uh bounce before your mind says it's time for me to entertain my woman.
- 14:41Um you'll have a nudge mentally before your stomach tells you so it's time to eat.
- 14:47Uh after you being so critical of a thinker and being attention to all these things about yourself, you start seeing those niches and nudges and everybody else.
- 14:55And then you just watch and say, uh, I know what I did I would have all you just did it.
- 15:01Oh, I just practiced code of life.
- 15:04So it's those thoughts before the thought becomes conscious.
- 15:08If we can grab those, uh, that's all the power you need because it sets up the tone for the rest of T FA Thoughts and Actions.
- 15:19That's that's that's amazing.
- 15:21I was I was watching the show, and they hooked people up and monitored them and everything, and they said there's something going on.
- 15:28Don't you see it, boy?
- 15:30Don't you see it?
- 15:31The decision is made before you know the decision is made before you make the decision.
- 15:40There's a there's a split second, not even second, just a just it's that quick.
- 15:49It's like a it's made, and then your brain says, okay, let me do this.
- 15:53And this is how you know it's a computer because what it really is is a spark.
- 15:57That's a spark in your electricity spark, but it kicks everything else in the dry.
- 16:03It kicks everything goes like some of life switch.
- 16:07They were actually telling the people what they were gonna do before they did.
- 16:12Yeah.
- 16:18I can do that naturally.
- 16:21It is not accepted.
- 16:22You can't say it's not accepted.
- 16:26And I get it.
- 16:27You can't tell me what the nope.
- 16:29Even if you is, I'll never let you know.
- 16:32Yeah.
- 16:32They literally would um know just a split second before the person would do the thing.
- 16:41They could they it it the the whatever the electricity or electromanic or whatever they were measuring in the brain, yeah.
- 16:50It would make it make some fun movement before they actually actually made the decision.
- 16:56But I want to talk a little bit more after we come back on off a break about um, you know, you have your operating system now, and you start to become older and and start to get out the house and move in a certain way.
- 17:10I want to get to that when we come back off a break.
- 17:13You wouldn't go a day without brushing your teeth or washing your hands.

- 19:01America Out Loud Doc News is that place to awaken your heart, soul, and mind to the alpha.
- 19:16And welcome back to America Out Loud News Radio with my special guest, D-Ray Hanna.
- 19:23Yes.
- 19:25And uh we talked a little bit about your childhood and um my my brother Malcolm, he said, you know, about life.
- 19:38He said, you know, life is a four-letter word.
- 19:41When he said that, it was so hilarious to me because you know how you say a four-letter word is bad, but you know, life be life.
- 19:48Life be life.
- 19:49Right.
- 19:49You know, life is a four-letter word.
- 19:51It's one of those four-letter words.
- 19:54And on this platform and on my show, I like to talk about life.
- 20:00Because what else is there?
- 20:03There's nothing else.
- 20:04What else is there?
- 20:04You feel me?
- 20:05There's nothing else but life.
- 20:06Yes.
- 20:07That divine spark.
- 20:09What else would we talk about?
- 20:10So I love to get other people's experiences because I know that somebody else's experience is gonna help somebody get through a tough time.
- 20:22Yes, right.
- 20:22And this is what it's about.
- 20:24So now you you're you're locked in.
- 20:27You know, from birth to seven is when they say that your actual hard drive is created.
- 20:31That that the side, and then after that, you just have experiences that reinforce them, those beliefs.
- 20:37And it becomes more solid and more solid.
- 20:39Like the saying, you can't teach all old dog new tricks because that system is ingrained the older you get.
- 20:46So now you're locked in and you start moving a certain way.
- 20:51How do you start moving?
- 20:53And why do you think that is?
- 20:55Um I'm a good dude.
- 20:58Always have been.
- 21:00Um peer pressure's never been big on me.
- 21:00Um peer pressure's never been big on me.
- 21:04But I did want to move with the crowd.
- 21:04But I did want to move with the crowd.
- 21:06So, you know, I don't single dude, single boy in the house.
- 21:06So, no, I don't single dude, single boy in the house.
- 21:11My cousins get to do what they're doing, I'm with them.
- 21:11My cousins get to do what they're doing, I'm with them.
- 21:14I'm trying to, I'm trying to, but I know I'm a good dude.
- 21:14I'm trying to, I'm trying to, but I know I'm a good dude.
- 21:17I'm not a bad boy.
- 21:17I'm not a bad boy.
- 21:18I'm not a none of that.
- 21:18I'm not a none of that.
- 21:20But I'm a beer.
- 21:20But I'm gonna be it, I'm gonna jump on it.
- 21:21I'm a jump.
- 21:22I'm a I'm I'm out here.
- 21:22I'm I'm out here.
- 21:24The moment I got locked up to second, the second incarceration.
- 21:24The moment I got locked up to second, the second incarceration.
- 21:28So, how you gonna skip?
- 21:28So how you gonna skip over how?
- 21:32You gotta go.
- 21:34I'm a D boy.
- 21:35We was D boy.
- 21:36You had it and we won't it.
- 21:38We coming again.
- 21:39Get it.
- 21:40You know what?
- 21:40Many of my guests come on here, they like to skip over stuff.
- 21:44You went straight from I was like and run with the crowd to my second time.
- 21:52Two time.
- 21:53So how did you even get into that?
- 21:54What happened?
- 21:56My guys, man, me and being my bros.
- 21:59Uh not having no money.
- 22:02And uh knowing what we know about the streets and going to go get it.
- 22:06I don't know too much about dope.
- 22:07I know we've been out here beating people up all the time.
- 22:10So we just gonna start beating people up and taking these stuff.
- 22:13And uh that's really what it was.
- 22:15We went from regular street fights, running people's pockets to run into establishments.
- 22:21Feel me?
- 22:22We never got, we never did nothing crazy.
- 22:24And um it's funny because uh we was squat up, uh Mafia also with a dough.
- 22:29But before he really solidified, everybody got incarcerated.
- 22:33Well, me and Wiz.
- 22:37But 10 years him, before he got out, I caught five.
- 22:41Um before I get out, he catches ten, before he gets out, I catch ten.
- 22:46So you are Marvel.
- 22:47So you had five the first time, then ten the second time.
- 22:50Yes, sir.
- 22:51Yes, sir.
- 22:52Uh my second time, I was out four years from the five piece.
- 22:58And I was I was done with it.
- 23:00I was done with it.
- 23:01But I still had that itch, that bite.
- 23:03Uh what I did was dumb down my crimes.
- 23:06Like, well, I was doing an arm robbery, so I'll just go do some petty thief announcement.
- 23:10Right.
- 23:10Nah, I don't work like that.
- 23:12Ride to the penitentiary.
- 23:14Uh I'm asking myself.
- 23:17Well, really, first when I woke up in county, I was this case I got beat up, I was in a coma three days.
- 23:24You still see the scars on my face.
- 23:26So I woke up looking in the mirror.
- 23:28Who what happened?
- 23:30I tried to rob an establishment, which was my brother's lick.
- 23:34I had a lake, my brother had a lake.
- 23:36You rob my lick because they know me, I rob your lit because they know you.
- 23:40So I run in his establishment for some music equipment and uh some spice.
- 23:47Chasing a fake eye.
- 23:49Uh went in there on a nine-year-old war vet, which I cannot remember his man, this man's face for nothing at all.
- 23:54But uh, beat me bloody, put a white seat on me, called the cops and told them I didn't mean to kill them.
- 24:01Cops came, saw me, they said my the police forces my blood was pulling through the store.
- 24:08Oh, that dad wolfed me.
- 24:11But I'm glad he did.
- 24:12I was in the wrong, bro.
- 24:14I I always say, since I came out to look home and cut the time through the time.
- 24:19If I ever meet this man, I'm gonna shake his head and thank you.
- 24:22You gave me a blessing that I didn't know was a blessing, but you sent me on a uh a course that I was already on, but you you made the path straight, baby.
- 24:33The next 12, you got to go sit down.
- 24:36And on the ride to the penitentiary, I told myself, I'm going to college.
- 24:40I'm gonna go study that show life self-approve.
- 24:42I'm gonna fall into myself.
- 24:44I'm gonna learn who D-Ray Henna is.
- 24:47And I'm not thinking this biblically or I'm nothing even telling me this is right.
- 24:53This is just what I feel I have to do to get a point to self-maturity.
- 24:59I'm like, who are you, dude?
- 25:00How are you taking a bus ride to the penitentiary for the next 10 years?
- 25:06How did you do this to yourself?
- 25:09I don't know why I had understanding then that it was to myself.
- 25:12Um I never all because of such and such.
- 25:15I've never did the blank game.
- 25:17So the moment I hit the yard, bro, my head was down.
- 25:21My first couple months, I'm thinking, how do I convey this?
- 25:27How do I get this out of me?
- 25:28I gotta write it down, I gotta write it in, I gotta write it down.
- 25:31But I have a creative mind.
- 25:33Well, if I want to write it down, I can't write it down for nothing.
- 25:36I'm gonna write a book.
- 25:38Well, if I'm gonna go.
- 25:39So I got a quick I got a question.
- 25:40I got a question for you.
- 25:41So the second time that you went to prison, you didn't get involved with any prison politics or anything like that.
- 25:50You went straight to to trying to find yourself.
- 25:54The second time?
- 25:55The second time.
- 25:56The second time, you dang right.
- 25:58I wish you would come in.
- 25:59We were in prison politics.
- 26:00You see me.
- 26:02If I'm not reading or writing or working out or working my job.
- 26:06And uh for the most part, everybody respected it.
- 26:09I had a few times people come up to me, hey uh, we need you to go uh you go whoop on wood do for what?
- 26:16Because we make in the car, who call.
- 26:18Yeah, yeah, I'm not.
- 26:20You will, I remember one time somebody had made the comment like, uh, you know, if you don't go in there, I can send him in there on you.
- 26:27Send your best, and when I send him back, bring yourself up in here.
- 26:32That's not my bid, and I'm not doing that.
- 26:35Forget your politics.
- 26:37I'm on, I'm on God's work.
- 26:38That's really solely how I looked at it.
- 26:41And for the first eight years, my head was down writing this book.
- 26:46Around year six, I got the opportunity to start typing it and writing it.
- 26:50And I just focused on the mission.
- 26:53Because when I first started writing it, I didn't have a concept of what I'm gonna write about.
- 26:59It was I know I gotta get my story out of me.
- 27:02But what would make my story have any any type of weight?
- 27:06Uh I was in sitting in a cognitive restructuring class, and they were saying your thoughts, behaviors, and um not actions, but it was thoughts, thoughts, effects, and behaviors or something like that.
- 27:22And it just said right.
- 27:23I'm like, that doesn't equate to nothing.
- 27:25Like a behavior is a repetitive thought.
- 27:27I mean, a repetitive action.
- 27:29That's how you accumulate behavior, so it can't be behavior because it had to go somewhere to get to that.
- 27:34I'm sitting there thinking about what they're saying.
- 27:36I'm like, oh, that would have to be to make what they're saying, right?
- 27:41So it has to be TFA.
- 27:42And you want to start stoking.
- 27:44I'm like, oh, well, then that would apply to everything.
- 27:48That is the only thing that everybody has together.
- 27:53We have the power to think, we have the power to feel, we have the power to act those thoughts and those feelings out.
- 27:58If that's so, then those need to be the three things that we do at the highest level imaginable.
- 28:00Be the three things that we do at the highest level of magical.
- 28:04Once you do that, you start to tap into yourself, which is direct link to the higher, higher, whatever you want to call it.
- 28:04Once you do that, you start to tap into yourself, which is direct link to the higher, higher, whatever you want to call it.
- 28:13That's the way you get there.
- 28:13That's the way you get there.
- 28:14And once you tap his line, he gets to throw them jewels back at you.
- 28:14And once you tap his line, he gets to throw them jewels back at you.
- 28:19Who receives them, who catches them?
- 28:19Who receives them, who catches them, that's not his concern.
- 28:21That's not his concern.
- 28:23He just wants to make sure you see the planet.
- 28:23He just wanna make sure you see the planet.
- 28:26I uh heard something the other day.
- 28:26I uh heard something the other day that really resonated with me.
- 28:31And it's just true.
- 28:33I forget who it was.
- 28:35He said, everybody has thoughts, but very few people think.
- 28:45Everybody has thoughts.
- 28:48But few people think.
- 28:53That's so deep.
- 28:54It's so true.
- 28:55And it's simple, because it's the little things that like the whole truth.
- 28:59What's the point of thinking if it's not thought?
- 29:02I switched it around.
- 29:03But it's the same.
- 29:04What's the point of thinking if it's not a thought?
- 29:07You can't have a thought without thinking.
- 29:10So even that same conversation with my pops today, he ended it with, son, you just can't be overthinker as man.
- 29:18I said, Dang, Pops, I get it.
- 29:20But my depth of perception is nobody's thinking enough.
- 29:24All these thoughts running through your head, but ain't nobody thinking about them.
- 29:28I have a thought.
- 29:28I'm saying, why did I think that?
- 29:31Where'd that come from?
- 29:32What's that about?
- 29:33And then I'll see it thought through.
- 29:37That definitely ain't gone for me.
- 29:39I'm not thinking about stuff like that.
- 29:41Download, what am I supposed to do with it?
- 29:43But those are the steps to process and do yourself.
- 29:47And it's scary.
- 29:49And it's hard.
- 29:50And you're gonna find some stuff about yourself you don't like.
- 29:53And you're gonna, but you gotta go through it.
- 29:57Because you gotta grow through it.
- 29:59Those uh faults or those flaws are still the secret sauces that make you.
- 30:04What you do is find the jewel in them.
- 30:07I know it's funny because through this time I'll sound like a broken stove, because everything is everything.
- 30:14This principle applies to every aspect of life.
- 30:18Because, like we started at the beginning of this, it just is life.
- 30:23So you can come up with any however you want to do it.
- 30:28But you're still doing life.
- 30:30And we have metrics, we as humans can find to do life.
- 30:34And that's our thoughts, our feelings, and our actions.
- 30:37If we align those, we figure that out for ourselves, then we can see it clearly with anybody else.
- 30:45Then you can land, then you could, but who's gonna receive?
- 30:49That's that's what I've been seeing for myself is there's a class of people that are thinking like this, but the people that ain't thinking like this is the people that we gotta get thinking like this.
- 30:59But it's hard to tell somebody that's been indoctrinated for 40 plus years that their indoctrination was a little faulted or a little wrong.
- 31:06Who are you, especially if you're younger than them?
- 31:09Who you who you what?
- 31:10T of what?
- 31:11Boy, gonna take it, but somewhere my grandma and grandma tell her that.
- 31:15What are you talking about?
- 31:17Ain't nothing new under the sun.
- 31:19No, it ain't new.
- 31:20We've all been doing it forever.
- 31:21You just ain't been conscious of you doing it.
- 31:24You're having thoughts and not thinking them through.
- 31:26And I think that's the thing with people that have started to see, have eyes to see, that they want others to help others to see, but you cannot do that.
- 31:40You have to sit back as hard as it is and watch them learn.
- 31:45A lot of times, if we try to change somebody, we're gonna, we're gonna prevent them from getting something they're supposed to get from being in this the state that they're in, right?
- 31:58Trying to rescue them when really this experience that you see that you this is a terrible experience, it's for them and they need it.
- 32:08And we're trying to pull them out because we see the suffering, but that's not our job.
- 32:16And it sucks because let's say uh I see this, right?
- 32:21And I'm saying, I gotta teach, I gotta, I gotta, I gotta give.
- 32:27But their uh lesson are their blessings gonna come to them actually seeing that uh trauma all the way through.
- 32:36Uh also though, my blessing came from voicing up, trying to speak.
- 32:43Because just like they have a course of the direct directory, uh I do as well.
- 32:48Now, even though I'm supposed to sit back and let them get to where they gotta get, if I'm not there yet, I have to advocate for the people that are not good at it, so I can get to this place of saying, okay, I see why I can't.
- 33:07I understand why I can't do that.
- 33:09It becomes clear to me after doing it X amount of time, muscle memory, things like that.
- 33:14You've grown.
- 33:15In my space that I am right now, I see the why I shouldn't do it.
- 33:20And uh I see a therapist, uh, to ground speaking when she said you should, you should see therapy.
- 33:25That's how that's what she covered me.
- 33:27Like, your mind do what your mind, you should see therapy.
- 33:30I'm like, you know what?
- 33:31I've heard it before.
- 33:32Two more seconds, uh let me go ahead and do it.
- 33:35So my therapist said, Hey man, I think I'm gonna have like a God complex.
- 33:39She said, Why you say that?
- 33:40I said, because I be want to say people, I don't want to.
- 33:44She said, uh, you know, we wouldn't look through their notes.
- 33:46She said, Do you feel like you don't care about what people feel?
- 33:50I said, No, I'm quite the other way around.
- 33:52I think I care too much about what everybody else feels.
- 33:54She said, then it's not a God complex.
- 33:57But that's the only thing I can equate it to, because that's the only uh reflectionary point that I can go to is saying, well, while everybody else was saying, eh, I know what you need, but I gotta let you go through it.
- 34:12You got one man that came down and was marching, spitting game.
- 34:17And even though it was what it was even then, he still voiced up.
- 34:23He still spoke up, and the reason why we shouldn't do it is because we see what they did to him, nailed him to a cross, and vilified him and then deotized him.
- 34:33Crazy.
- 34:40But I kind of feel like all of our mission, if his word will never come back void, is to follow the blueprint.
- 34:48Uh be a fisherman.
- 34:51Keep fishing.
- 34:52Even when you're not supposed to.
- 34:54That's when you catch the biggest fish.
- 34:57But you but at the same time.
- 34:59No, man.
- 34:59You got look, all you can do, all you can be responsible for is delivering the message, right?
- 35:00Look, all you can do, all you can be responsible for is delivering the message, right?
- 35:06When you work in the field that we work in, yeah.
- 35:06When you work in the field that we work in, delivering the message the best way you possibly can with the with the right intentions, and just in the delivery is everything.
- 35:08Delivering the message the best way you possibly can with the with the right intentions, and just in in the delivery is everything.
- 35:18Right?
- 35:18Right.
- 35:18So in order for someone to re receive something, there can't be an ounce of judgment in your delivery.
- 35:18So in order for someone to re receive something, there can't be an ounce of judgment in your delivery.
- 35:25Yeah.
- 35:25So that that's our job is to make it so.
- 35:25So that that's our job is to make it so easy to digest, yeah that they get it.
- 35:33Like it tastes okay to them.
- 35:35It's not bitter.
- 35:35Yeah, yeah.
- 35:36But we can't be like, no, you're gonna eat this.
- 35:38What I'm giving you, all you can do is give it, and when they're ready to receive it, they will receive it.
- 35:43Yeah, it's funny because uh understandable with myself, I've been trying to find the perfect balance to deliver the message.
- 35:51And what I've been finding, it's uh circumstances, situational, like uh different people respond to different things different ways.
- 36:00So in real time, I have to gauge that if the conversation comes up, it's like how do I say this?
- 36:07And uh true to life, I'll have to say something two, three times before a person get it.
- 36:13It's it's actually funny.
- 36:15I'm dealing with lately.
- 36:16I'll say something, and that person will say something like, Why you say the house was tall?
- 36:24And like I didn't say the house was tall.
- 36:26I said tall and house, but I didn't, I didn't, I didn't structure the sentence in the question or like that.
- 36:34So people here, see, think feel what they want to hear.
- 36:38So I know all I can do is plant the seed.
- 36:41Uh my problem is I be won't attend to it too much.
- 36:45And it ain't my job.
- 36:46So I get that.
- 36:48And that's why I call it a God complex, because I shouldn't be breaking away from it, but I'll see something like, man, you need one more word, man.
- 36:56Yeah, me.
- 36:58And then sometimes I do have throw my hands up.
- 37:00Well, when we come back from break, we're gonna talk a little bit more about what you do for work and what your goals are moving forward.
- 37:07Sounds great.
- 37:08Right.
- 37:08So we'll get to that when we get back.

- 38:55D Ray.
- 38:56Drahan of the God.
- 39:00I appreciate you being here too.
- 39:02Man, I appreciate you, big bro.
- 39:03It's my first one ever, y'all.
- 39:05So yes, this is the guy pretty good.
- 39:07No cousin.
- 39:08Ooh, this is this is this young man's first time ever having a.
- 39:13How long have you been out right now?
- 39:15Uh pulling up on a year and a half.
- 39:17I got out of February 16th last year.
- 39:21So people that interview, I remember my first being interviewed for my first time.
- 39:26Okay.
- 39:27And it's it feels a little.
- 39:30I was very insecure growing up.
- 39:32Okay.
- 39:32So when I've started to step out of that shell and to realize who I really was, it was still every step, like every first was kind of nerve-wracking for me.
- 39:44And you just got to step through that every single time you step through it, every the fear.
- 39:49Once you step through it once, you step through it again, you step through it again, you step through it again.
- 39:54And every time you step through it, it seems like new opportunities come.
- 40:01New job, a new relationship.
- 40:04If you step back, you step back, you lose, you stop the momentum.
- 40:10Walk through them doors.
- 40:11Keep the moment.
- 40:13Yeah, we were talking about fear a couple days ago, and uh I use the example of getting up on the high dive, and then you got too scared, so you came back down, right?
- 40:22But the more you give into that, the scarier it gets.
- 40:26The more you don't do the thing that scares you, the more you fear it, and it will control your life.
- 40:35So, Ma.
- 40:37Let me ask you a question.
- 40:39How do you go about life knowing this and then living in a world where you see plain sight the fear that's holding people back?
- 40:50And you see them give it into the fear, accepting the fear.
- 40:54Uh the way I put it is um, and it's normally in a relationship context where I'm using it.
- 41:01Uh, you gotta take, or you've allowed your imaginary friends to become monsters under your bed.
- 41:08Uh now it's a problem.
- 41:11Now this is something you gotta fix.
- 41:13Let's say it's my girl, and the problem is um a double mind or um unable to commit.
- 41:24But your life experiences gave you these things.
- 41:27Different situations, different relations is built this thing up.
- 41:30So now you have a super wall up, and you think it's uh a protector, and in some senses you use it for it, but it's a defense mechanism for the scared little child back there that's running or hiding from the monster that you was always an imaginary friend with now.
- 41:49You have to take that monster taking back down to imaginary friend status, be able to play with your security hand.
- 41:58Thank them for being there.
- 42:00Uh huh.
- 42:00Aww.
- 42:01So fragile, my insecurity, my jealousy.
- 42:01So fragile, my insecurity, my jealousy.
- 42:04You was running around in my life.
- 42:04You was running around in my life.
- 42:06You was making you yes, you was.
- 42:06You was making you yes, you was you gotta give it back down to that.
- 42:09You got to give it back down to that.
- 42:12Now you've taken your power back.
- 42:12Now you've taken your power back.
- 42:14Now you're no longer afraid of your own fears.
- 42:14Now you're no longer afraid of your own fears.
- 42:18You're looking at the man in the mirror.
- 42:18You're looking at the man in the mirror.
- 42:20It's a simple things of life that hold true.
- 42:20It's a simple things of life that hold true, but true to what Monk was saying, the thought without thinking, take those little things of life that hold true and dumb them.
- 42:22But true to what Monk was saying, the thought without thinking.
- 42:27Take those little things of life that hold true and dumb them down to why do they hold true?
- 42:33And then you'll crack the code for yourself and for others.
- 42:37But these imaginary phrases that became monsters are us living a life without the knowledge and understanding that these things can control us.
- 42:46Everything in anything because it's all the same.
- 42:50It's all energy, it's all a spirit.
- 42:53It all has a consciousness.
- 42:56Give that thing power if you want to.
- 42:59It will do the power.
- 43:00It will do the control, and it doesn't even know what to do.
- 43:03It wants you to be in your power and control.
- 43:06But if you're not gonna do it, I'll do it for you.
- 43:09That's every way back to the first question.
- 43:11I'll do it for you.
- 43:13I will do it for you, and I don't know what I'm doing, but I clearly see you though.
- 43:18I'm just not about to add that no more.
- 43:20I'm just I'm the one see it, and it hurts that I see it everywhere.
- 43:25But the it's what you see, like I said, you can't unsee.
- 43:30But uh but but most people, and we have to be careful because when we start to see things and other people don't, it's it's easy to become judgmental.
- 43:41Like, how do you not see it?
- 43:43It's right there.
- 43:44And we gotta remember, we gotta remember how many decisions we made because we couldn't see, they got us into some trouble.
- 43:51They got us into addiction, they got us into prison.
- 43:54You see what I'm saying?
- 43:55So once have you ever known somebody that quit smoking for yeah, no, dope, just like a week before, and then they want to get on everybody for smoking.
- 44:04It's like you know, you know, people fucking smell.
- 44:08You 24 hours, we're gonna cut it out.
- 44:12Yeah, so we gotta be careful how we judge other people because everybody is processing things and looking at things through a different lens.
- 44:21We have to, the best way we could show them is to be that instead of speak to them or speak down to them.
- 44:31We gotta show them how to do it by our own actions.
- 44:34It's funny because uh I don't speak down, and I try not to judge for one reason, and you just said it, the process.
- 44:43But I understand the process is just that, a process.
- 44:47So that can be on its own timeline of anything.
- 44:51So if I'm saying uh, I see you're going through a process and I want to process with you.
- 44:57I have to understand that it's a process.
- 45:00There's gonna be highs, there's gonna be lows, there's gonna be not knowing, there's gonna be understanding, there's gonna be clarity, there's gonna be insecurity, it's gonna be all kind of through that process, whatever that process is.
- 45:10And I gotta let you process.
- 45:12But I can choose to be there or choose not to be there.
- 45:16I'm just saying I'm the guy that chooses to be there.
- 45:20Even when I ain't supposed to be, which is a detriment to myself, uh.
- 45:25And let me say this, uh, I could be a crock of BS, feel me.
- 45:30But what I say is I'm a person that can recalibrate their energy real cool, real quick.
- 45:37No, no time, it's been that way for for some time now.
- 45:41So it seems like I'm always in a relationship or a situation where people around me that are uh depleted of uh the proper energy.
- 45:51And um sometimes I'm overzealous and trying to live a person up, pouring from our cup, you need some of this.
- 46:00And let they tell why I go do my little meditation thing and I'm dying back on the spot.
- 46:07But uh, you know, that hasn't been a beneficial thing for me, but I've seen the benefits for others.
- 46:15So I'm cool with that.
- 46:17Uh like I said, I could be a crooked BS because that's just my depth of perception.
- 46:22God gave it to me for a reason.
- 46:24I believe I can raise my energy, but I ain't never tracked it outside of smiling and feeling good after I'm walking away, telling myself I've done that for me, so depth of perception.
- 46:36So we kind of went on a little off on a tangent real quick, but we're gonna bring it back.
- 46:42What are you doing for work?
- 46:45And what are your plans?
- 46:48What are you creating?
- 46:49Because once you understand how this works, we become creators, I believe.
- 46:54Right?
- 46:55We create what we want.
- 46:56We don't wait back and uh react to life, we create life.
- 47:00What are you creating?
- 47:01I'm a creator's creator.
- 47:03I am creating creation.
- 47:06What is that and what is that look like?
- 47:08What does that look like?
- 47:09It looks like uh creating things like systems that will end up running themselves and employ other people and uh change the economy and add a value to everybody that comes in contact with it, giving them the gene or the spark, the thought before the thought that puts them on their creation path.
- 47:30Uh we're here to give, uh, not receive, but um that's the gift that I want to give.
- 47:37Creation.
- 47:38What do you want to create?
- 47:40So the things that I'm creating is in the space of trying to create more.
- 47:44Right now I work at a uh a sober living, and um as a house coordinator, I got three houses under me.
- 47:53Um and that's pretty taxing because you're dealing with a lot of people's uh TFA thoughts, feels and actions, and still have to regulate your own.
- 48:02Um I get everything.
- 48:05I get all they all the ups, all their downs, but I'm handling it.
- 48:09Um on the side, I work at a group home on the weekends, uh, the same type of individuals, but just younger in age.
- 48:17Uh and they're a little more a little more strenuous because they're more fragile.
- 48:21Um I just LOC the TFA and co itself.
- 48:25Um, it's a developmental firm.
- 48:28Um trying to um just take the term and brand it.
- 48:34Feel me?
- 48:35I want the term to become just a household term.
- 48:38How your TFA doing today?
- 48:40Just the little, it's the little things that count.
- 48:42If I can just get somebody just to say it.
- 48:45And somebody's gonna say, What's what's the ideology?
- 48:48Who they hold that up.
- 48:50What do they do?
- 48:51Hey, well, if you come on down here, we can sit with uh institutional counselor, we can sit with a house counselor, we can sit with an individual counselor.
- 49:00What I want to do is reinstate the culture is what I'm gonna attack first.
- 49:00What I want to do is reinstate the culture is what I'm gonna attack first.
- 49:05The culture of a company, the culture of a household, then the culture of a person.
- 49:05The culture of a company, the culture of a household, then the culture of a person.
- 49:10If we can get their culture right, we can set a president for their bases.
- 49:10If we can get their culture right, we can set a precedent for their bases.
- 49:14If their bases right, then they have solid foundation to build on.
- 49:14If their bases right, then they have solid foundation to build on.
- 49:18But they have to have a blueprint.
- 49:18But they have to have a blueprint, they have to have a plan.
- 49:20They have to have a plan.
- 49:21So there's a lot more things that go into play.
- 49:21So there's a lot more things that go into play.
- 49:23TFN Co.
- 49:23TFN Cole wants to go into a company and say, how's your employee's morale?
- 49:25wants to go into a company and say, how's your employee's morale?
- 49:30What's your turnaround rate like?
- 49:32What are you doing for your employees?
- 49:34And then help them enhance that.
- 49:36Same with the house and same with the individual person because I truly believe as people, it's all one thing.
- 49:48Spit the same game.
- 49:50And the only difference is one person got it at the bottom while a bunch of people got at the top.
- 49:55Or a bunch of Caesar planet, at least.
- 49:58So right now, I understand that that's gonna be a bigger task to get up and going than my means.
- 50:06So how do I stay in that field?
- 50:08How do I say that energy?
- 50:09I'm seguing TFA and coach to deal primarily with the housing industry that I'm in right now.
- 50:16House managers, kick the same game, put them on the path that I was on.
- 50:20My first year I came home and accomplished a few things that would allow me to be a VHT.
- 50:26Uh put me on the proper path.
- 50:28So I want to put all these house managers on the same path, put them in a house where they're managing people and they're teaching the same thing that I taught them that was taught to me.
- 50:37And then we just keep reoccurring.
- 50:39I want it to be almost like suspendes.
- 50:42Yeah, simple implementing a system.
- 50:43Yes, sir.
- 50:44To create these amazing people that help people that are gonna create.
- 50:49Yeah.
- 50:51Yes, I love that.
- 50:53And I love that you talk about feelings because emotional regulation is if we can just regulate our emotional states.
- 51:03Because this is where we crash out.
- 51:05It's the emotional part.
- 51:06Yeah.
- 51:06The emotion, the emotion shut down the thinking brain.
- 51:10The rational brain.
- 51:11Once that amygdala is fired up, everything else shuts down, and your decision making goes out the door, right?
- 51:17Yes, sir.
- 51:18So would you say when I start my classes in the morning?
- 51:24I don't say how are you doing.
- 51:25I say, how are you feeling?
- 51:27How are you feeling?
- 51:28Not how you doing.
- 51:29How are you feeling?
- 51:30Check in with your feelings.
- 51:32Where are you at?
- 51:33And it's not about feeling better.
- 51:35It's about feel getting better at feeling.
- 51:38It's not about feeling better.
- 51:41It's getting better at feeling.
- 51:43Because you're gonna get Which would take more mental aptitude.
- 51:47So when these feelings come, we gotta know what we to do with them.
- 51:50Yes, sir.
- 51:51Right?
- 51:51Because they're all gonna come.
- 51:52We're humans.
- 51:53Yes, sir.
- 51:54So the anger, the fear, the if we can get better at feeling those and knowing what to do with them, we're gonna make better decisions, which can create better outcomes.
- 52:05So I'm gonna give y'all a quick little uh-uh.
- 52:08Crack the code.
- 52:09In order to do what he just said do, stop trying.
- 52:14Stop trying.
- 52:15Stop coping, stop running from them, stop looking at these negative things as if they're negative.
- 52:22And when uh issue like insecurities, jealousies, uh whatever pops up, you run head first into it, dive into it with everything you got and sweeping that thing.
- 52:38What's up in here?
- 52:39Where does it come from?
- 52:40Why I got this?
- 52:42Over analytical, overthink about it, and then take the proper time to process through the data you accumulated for yourself, put it in the proper place where then becomes information that you can use to reshape your future.
- 52:58Because your past already gave the blueprint.
- 53:01You just have to go out, look back at it.
- 53:04Everything you're thinking, everything you're feeling, everything you're being now, you can see where it came from.
- 53:10You can see how you created it.
- 53:11If you can do that, you can reverse engineer anything.
- 53:16Why not yourself?
- 53:18Man, get you right.
- 53:20Yeah, when you see the patterns, then you can change your patterns.
- 53:23Yes, sir.
- 53:24But until you see them, they will loop around and you will call it fate.
- 53:29Just like Carl Yon said.
- 53:31The imaginary friends turn into the monsters under your bed, controlling your life, which you run in from it, talking about help me.
- 53:38I don't know what to do.
- 53:39Uh guy can't.
- 53:41And the thing chasing you is just chasing you.
- 53:44He don't even, you don't even got no harm for you.
- 53:47He wanna hug you.
- 53:48He's been your imaginary friend your whole life.
- 53:50You just allowed him to take on the face of whatever words you're attaching to it.
- 53:56You know, in all these, even in relief when you have the devil on one shoulder and the angel on one shoulder.
- 54:01And let them be easy.
- 54:02Yeah, you have um uh the good wolf and the bad wolf and all these different things.
- 54:08It's just your two selves.
- 54:09You have the ego selves to be together.
- 54:12And you're the real self and the in the ego.
- 54:14So you gotta let them things uh let them.
- 54:19Yes, you got you got to see we're taught to let them fight.
- 54:24And that's what creates a double mind for all of everybody has a double mind.
- 54:28The mind shall be it has to be single.
- 54:31Ah, yes.
- 54:32How do you do that?
- 54:33You put them together.
- 54:34It has to be single.
- 54:35You put them together two more games.
- 54:37They integrate, they become one.
- 54:38It's the little sayings of life that hold true.
- 54:41Nothing's different.
- 54:42It's all about everything, it's all the same thing.
- 54:46Your double minds.
- 54:47You think it's put the things together.
- 54:50Give yourself one clear thought, but you've put them together, so you still processed through both sides.
- 54:57They're just not in conflict with each other no more.
- 55:00They're working in unison.
- 55:02Man, I think they call that coherence.
- 55:06Yeah.
- 55:07So we got a couple minutes left.
- 55:10Okay.
- 55:11Um, I want you to give the listeners out there.
- 55:16Yeah, I want you to.
- 55:21How can I put this?
- 55:24Layman's terms.
- 55:27Um, what one thing that really we should, as human beings put at the the what is the most important thing you think as human beings that we should focus on now in these trying times with everything that's going on.
- 55:49What do you what do you what what do you think is the key?
- 55:54I know I'm just giving you a uh a minute or so less than a minute.
- 55:57What is layman's terms?
- 56:00I won't crucify me for this.
- 56:00I'm gonna crucify me for this.
- 56:02Self, the self.
- 56:02Self, the self, work on yourself, get yourself right.
- 56:04Work on yourself.
- 56:05Get yourself right.
- 56:06Be the change you want to see.
- 56:06Be the change you want to see yourself, get you right.
- 56:09Yourself get you right.
- 56:11Everything else will fall in place.
- 56:11Everything else will fall in play.
- 56:13Be the change you want to see.
- 56:13Be the change you want to see.
- 56:15I think we're gonna end it with that.
- 56:15I think we're gonna end it with that.
- 56:17Your self.
- 56:17Yes, right.
- 56:19It's be the change you want to see.
- 56:19It's be the change you want to see.
- 56:21And I and I say that almost every day.
- 56:21And I and I say that almost every day.
- 56:24If you want to if you want a beautiful world, make it a beautiful world.
- 56:25If you want a beautiful world, make a beautiful world.
- 56:28Yes.
- 56:28Yes, make your interaction.
- 56:29Make your inner world beautiful.
- 56:31Right?
- 56:31Be a beautiful world.
- 56:33I want a beautiful world.
- 56:34I am a beautiful world.
- 56:35Yes, that part.
- 56:36Yeah, it comes quicker.
- 56:37We take out the steps.
- 56:39Be the change you want to be.
- 56:40And if you just nope, I want a beautiful world, I am a beautiful world.
- 56:45Thank you, sir.
- 56:46Thank you so much, D Ray.
- 56:47And um thank you.
- 56:48Thank you, everybody, for listening and have a beautiful rest of your day.
- 56:52And we will pray for my second interview.
- 56:54I need a super.
- 56:56We'll talk to you again next week.
- 56:58Peace.
