Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: Jacksonville Jaguar's fans welcome in to do volt daily presented by jing Jack.com and fueled by brass tax coffee It's Friday September 18th, but this is dropping the morning of Saturday September 19th Getting you ready for Jaguars and Broncos the Jaguars are taking on the Broncos in Denver for the Broncos home opener in Denver It is gonna be a rocker some environment.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_00]: There's no question about it.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_00]: Tim Teebo is gonna be there getting the Broncos fired up Jaguars legendary tight-end no
- 0:28[SPEAKER_00]: credit to Tim Tbo for, you know, being from Duval and doing some great things for the gators and, you know, doing some things for the Broncos, but it is kind of funny that the Broncos are bringing Tim Tbo home for this one.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_00]: If you can call it that, pretty funny stuff.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_00]: But I honestly think for the Broncos, it is a bad week to need to get right to coming off a game in
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: The chiefs put it on you.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_00]: They ran the ball all over you for the Denver Broncos.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_00]: Kenneth Walker was breaking tackles.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_00]: The chiefs were getting after it with their run blocking schemes.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_00]: It is a bad week to try to bounce back from that, even if you're at home for your home opener.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_00]: It is just the jags are dang good team right now.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_00]: Now we're gonna start with the Broncos offense and we're gonna get into bold predictions here, right?
- 1:19[SPEAKER_00]: start with the Broncos offense, get into the Jaguar's defense and then the Jaguar's offense as well.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_00]: I'm excited to get into it.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_00]: Really appreciate y'all being here.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoy the content, please like and subscribe, and also hit that high button.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_00]: So, J.L.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_00]: and Waddle may have heard of him.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_00]: Pretty darn good or silver.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_00]: Broncos gave up a lot to go get him this off season.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_00]: He only had three targets and one catch in week one.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's going to have a game.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_00]: I think he, Cortland Sutton, and Patrick Bryant, the Broncos top three receivers, Patrick Bryant, another local legend, shout out.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_00]: I have them combining for 200 yards receiving, those three players and two touchdowns.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_00]: Look, I think that the Broncos are a much better team than they showed last week.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_00]: I think they ran into an absolute buzz saw of a chief's team.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_00]: There's going to be very difficult for anyone to beat the way they're playing right now.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that the Broncos are going to get some yards through the air.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're going to score some touchdowns.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_00]: I think Bo Nix will throw for 300 yards and three touchdowns in this game.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Broncos also eclipse 100 yards on the ground.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_00]: I'll even give them 100 10 yards.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_00]: 115 yards on the ground.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_00]: That's a lot of yards.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_00]: That's, you know, over 400 yards for the Broncos.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it is.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_00]: But they're gonna be playing catchup.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: They're gonna be trying to get back into this football game.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_00]: That's gonna allow them a much better team than what the Jaguar's faced last week in the Browns to actually put up some numbers, to put up some yards, to put up some touchdowns, right?
- 3:01[SPEAKER_00]: But it's gonna be coming from behind.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be, in my opinion,
- 3:10[SPEAKER_00]: The bills, they pretty much handled that game fairly easily, but they're playing the lines.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_00]: The lines are a good offense.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_00]: Great offense, really.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_00]: And lines put up some points.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_00]: They put up some yards.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Broncos are going to put up some points and put up some yards.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_00]: But it's going to be all for not, because they're going to be having to do that.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to be having to try to catch up.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_00]: I'll also give him two interceptions and a lost fumble.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_00]: I think Ventrel gets a pick early on.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_00]: Anthony Campanile, such a smart and underrated defensive coordinator and skimmer and play collar in this league.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: I think you see a lot of simulated pressure in this game, and I think you're also going to see some blitzes.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_00]: The Broncos know that Ventral Miller made an impact as a blitzer last week, and when he's been on the field in an Anthony Campanylei defense, the Jack Wars know that the Broncos know that too.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to drop him out, and Bonaix isn't going to be ready for it, and Ventral is going to get a pick.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_00]: Look, this is bold predictions, right?
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not trying to play it safe.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_00]: I'm trying to go bold.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_00]: Ventrel is going to get a pick early on in this game, showing blitz and dropping out into his own, Bonax isn't going to see it, and that's going to be a big time and reception for Ventrel Miller.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_00]: I also think you get a safety interception.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_00]: I was debating, is it Eric Murray, is it Antonio Johnson, is it Caleb Branson?
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: And I just said, it doesn't matter.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_00]: A safety interception when Nick's gets greedy, trying to go up top.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_00]: with a split field safety.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: And one of those Jaguar safety goes and gets it.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to feel pressured to try to put points on the board, to try to overcome and repent for the mistakes of last Sunday, Monday, I should say.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: And it ain't gonna go well.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: It is not going to go well for Bonix early on in this game.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Jaguars are gonna jump on them to fairly early, first half interceptions for the Jaguars,
- 5:25[SPEAKER_00]: Think Josh Heinz Allen and Trayvon Walker, combined for three sacks last week, combined for 12 pressures last week.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_00]: I'm giving them the exact same total this week.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: Trayvon Walker played a ton rushing from the interior.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_00]: He also obviously plays a lot on the defensive left side over tackle to outside of tackle.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that they're going to move him around again.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_00]: They're gonna hunt matchups and Trayvon Walker the way he's playing is dominant.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_00]: Broncos have a good offensive line, but these two guys got a lot of pressure last year.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're going to be able to finish a little bit more in this game with a little bit tighter coverage on the back end with Botanix and the Broncos feeling a little skittish and trying to come from behind.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: And so I have Josh Hines Allen and Trayvon Walker combining for three sacks to get their combined total to six on the year.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_00]: And I do have them leading the AFC this year as I mentioned before this season in sacks as they do
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: three sacks and twelve pressures.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_00]: That is enough to burst some pipes, right?
- 6:31[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I think the Jaguars switching to their offense, they're going to do pretty darn well.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_00]: And, less than we forget, the Jaguars are two and a half point road underdogs against the Broncos, despite
- 6:43[SPEAKER_00]: having one nine straight regular season games by an average score of 33.6 to 14, including a game last December in Denver against these very same bronchos, obviously they've had a J.L.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_00]: and Wattl, but other than that, they are very, very similar to what they were last year, minus Sean Payton calling plays and Davis Webb, obviously taking over as the play caller.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: Over at my bookie, two and a half point road underdogs.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_00]: I love that for the Jaguars and my bookie's website is easy to use on desktop or mobile.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: They've got all the NFL action you could want and much much more.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_00]: Another thing I really love about my bookie, they reward your action with weekly cash back.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: I also love the Jaguars, you can still get them at over under nine and a half wins.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I'm taking the over on that, and if you're new, you can use my promo code Duval, all caps, DUV-A-L to claim your first bet risk for you up to $500.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_00]: It is a no-brainer.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_00]: Get in before kickoff, sign up at my bookie with my promo code Duval, anywhere any time that is my book.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_00]: You must be 21 plus 18 plus and select jurisdictions, terms of conditions apply.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_00]: Gambley problem call 100 Gambley is at $100 Gambley.net for free-convigenable support.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_00]: We'll be able to 24.7.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_00]: So.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_00]: getting to the Jags offense here.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_00]: The Jag wars are going to come out.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of tight formations, they did the same thing last week, not only tight, but heavy personnel, expose the Broncos spine.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_00]: I think the weakness of the Broncos defense is the spine.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_00]: Up the middle, I do not think that they have the beef to contain the Jag wars at interior
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: at the linebacker spot.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Jaguar is run the ball early.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_00]: They ran the ball four straight times to start their game against the Browns.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_00]: I think they'll mix it up a little bit, but they're gonna run the ball early and often in this game.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_00]: And I have Basel Tutton with eight force missed tackles one more than he had last week, 100 yards rushing and a receiving touchdown.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_00]: The Broncos were the worst team in the NFL last week tackling.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_00]: They were not a good tackling team in 2025 either.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_00]: Their linebackers, again, in my opinion, are a weakness that the Jaguars will look to exploit and Basial Tutan, ran the ball incredibly well last week.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_00]: He has a lot of similarities to his game with Kenneth Walker.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_00]: He does.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_00]: They're the same exact size.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_00]: They're both explosive.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_00]: They both can break arm tackles and make defenders look silly in a tight space.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_00]: So I think Basial Tutan is going to have himself quite a day out in Denver.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_00]: that leads us to the Jaguar's passing attack.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_00]: I do not think you can hold down this Jaguar's passing attack right now.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: I just think it's the best.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_00]: Arguably the best in the league.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_00]: I think the bills were right there.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_00]: DJ Moore obviously got hurt.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_00]: Hopefully for Bill's fan, he gets back quickly.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_00]: But without DJ Moore, I think the Jaguar is kind of take the lead as the best passing attack in football.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_00]: I've Trevor Lawrence with 300 yards and four touchdowns.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_00]: And the reason I think that he
- 9:47[SPEAKER_00]: have a bigger output from a yardage standpoint in this game is because even though the Jaguars are leading, the Broncos are keeping it closer.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_00]: Like the Jaguars jumped out on the Browns last week and the Browns had no prayer of coming back.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_00]: The Broncos are a team where you have to respect to the comeback.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_00]: You have to respect what they can do.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_00]: You have to keep your foot down on the gas.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_00]: So I have Trevor Lawrence with 300 yards and four touchdowns, right?
- 10:18[SPEAKER_00]: Three of those are passing touchdowns.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_00]: One of them is a rushing touchdown.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_00]: The Broncos are gonna play more man coverage, and that is gonna give Trevor Lawrence opportunities with his likes, and he is going to take advantage of those.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_00]: I do have Parker Washington and Britain strange absolutely feasting in this game.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_00]: I think that those are two guys that you can really dictate matchups against the Broncos defense, and against pretty much any defense, moving them around the formation, and creating the matchups that you want.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_00]: right, taking advantage of what your opponent does with Parker Washington and Britain's Strange.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_00]: I have 150 for Parker.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_00]: I have 75 for Strange.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_00]: I also have 75 for BTJ.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_00]: If they try to take Pat Sir Tane off of Brian Thomas Jr., he eats.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_00]: I feel strongly that way.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_00]: I think there's a reason they put certain on BTJ last year.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_00]: It's because they know, if they're in man coverage, Riley Moss is not keeping up with Brian Thomas Jr. down the field.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_00]: And yes, we can talk about the Broncos past rush, too.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: I think they'll do a little bit in this game, but the Jag wars have an underrated offensive line, especially in past pro.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: The Broncos strengths of their past rush are really
- 11:32[SPEAKER_00]: from the three tech out.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's not like you have somebody that's about to go take advantage consistently of Robert Hainesy.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_00]: A manual pregnon, Ezra Cleveland, very good guard duo, even if a manual pregnon is young.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_00]: He was excellent.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, they're going to try to test your offensive line rules.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Jack Wars will be locked in on their rules, they'll do a good job picking up the blitzes.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_00]: A manual pregnon was a stone wall in past protection.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_00]: Anton Harrison, Cole Van Lannon, and Cole Van Lannon is going to play the entire game.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_00]: Provided health, like they're not going to take him out a half time like they did last week.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_00]: one of the most underrated tackle duo's info ball.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_00]: You've got a good offensive line in Jacksonville.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_00]: You've also got tight ends that can block their butt off.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_00]: Britain's strange, nay-borkature, Quentin Morris.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: But if you put anyone other than Patrick Sartan on Brian Thomas Jr., he's going to cook.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_00]: I feel strongly about that one.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_00]: And so I have the Jack Wars winning this game.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_00]: 37, 21.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: Like I said, I think they get out to a early lead.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_00]: I think that they put the pressure on the bronchos to try to come back.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_00]: I think the bronchos put up some points in that effort, but it never really gets all that close.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_00]: That's gonna do it for this one.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_00]: Really appreciate y'all tuning in.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoy the content, please like and subscribe.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_00]: You can also hit that high button.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_00]: Y'all have a great one.
