Luca Netz - CEO of Pudgy Penguins SPECIAL GUEST! · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:01
The UFD community continues to grow, continues to strengthen.
0:06
In about 10 minutes, we'll be joined by Luka Nets.
0:10
He's the CEO of Pudgy Penguins. I'm going to ask him for his
0:13
advice for our community. He's a guy who's been a leader
0:17
in the meme coin and NFT sector for a few years now.
0:21
We've got that to look forward to.
0:23
But first, thank you for being here.
0:24
Dusters, horns up. OK, we are on a good trip
0:29
together. We got a lot of fun stuff to
0:31
cover today. I want to start by going out and
0:34
doing a check up on our social dominance.
0:38
We know that's where we've been excelling lately.
0:41
Emma gave us another great update yesterday.
0:44
Today marks four days in a row yesterday that UFD had been
0:47
ranked in the top ten of social dominance among meme coins.
0:52
And yet again today, UFD is the only coin in the top 10 not
0:57
valued in the hundreds of millions or billions of dollars.
1:02
So there we are #8 on the list. You can see Pengu, who's right
1:07
above us. Again, we're supposed to be
1:09
joined by Luca here in about 10 minutes, but just look at some
1:13
of these coins, look at their market cap compared to ours,
1:17
10/20/30, almost 100 times higher than where we are.
1:21
UFD Radar trends continue to outperform other major meme
1:26
coins at 121,000 post. You guys are knocking it out of
1:31
the park and despite the rough market condition, our holders
1:35
stand at almost 41,000 people, 41,000 dusters.
1:44
Pat yourself on the back horns up dusters, right?
1:48
We are converting more and more butter cups by the day into
1:52
dusters who are then turning into diamond hooves.
1:55
We know what that means right? That means eventually we will
1:58
have a bean shortage, eventually we will have a beanopoly and
2:03
good times will be ahead for all of us.
2:05
Hey, I wanted to mention something.
2:07
I've been getting some emails from people or direct messages
2:11
saying that I'm interacting too much with people on Twitter that
2:15
don't have enough followers. I just want to be real clear
2:18
with you guys. Look, I'm going to interact with
2:21
people at every duster matters. Actually, one of the funnest
2:25
things that I get to do is when I'm on the timeline and I see
2:29
someone announce for the first time that they bought UFD, that
2:32
they bought some beans and I can send them a direct message and
2:36
say, hey, welcome to our community.
2:38
Thank you for being here. Thank you for being part.
2:40
I will always interact with the narwhals and the whales.
2:44
Yes, of course they're very, very important.
2:47
But I'll also interact with the people that have 100 beans or
2:51
1000 beans. To me, everyone matters, right?
2:54
Whether it's my garbage man or the person at the McDonald's
2:57
drive thru or my doctor or my lawyer, I treat them all the
3:02
same. And I think that that's an
3:04
important part of our community. We all matter.
3:07
Of course. The whales matter, the narwhals
3:10
as we call them, but also even that person that has the fewest
3:14
amount of beans. We all matter.
3:16
We all stick together, OK, Because remember, remember, I
3:21
despairs repeating so important. We're so different from a lot of
3:26
the other meme coins, especially with what's been going on
3:29
recently. And we've got some big news out
3:31
of the SEC that we're going to cover here in a second.
3:34
However, don't forget guys, right?
3:37
This is the insider dinner. This is the big secret meeting,
3:42
right? And within Unicorn Fart Dust,
3:46
you know some of these coins that have been launching lately,
3:48
they have secret dinners where they distribute coins.
3:52
And this is our secret dinner. And you get to choose from the
3:55
menu, you get to choose what color Jelly Bean you want.
3:58
You want an orange Jelly Bean, a green Jelly Bean or a blue Jelly
4:01
Bean? The choice is yours.
4:03
That's part of what makes us different.
4:06
Every single duster matters, no doubt about it.
4:09
OK, let's go look at this interesting information that
4:13
came out from the SEC. This is breaking news as of
4:18
today, and I believe good news for us because we're on the good
4:22
side of the fence. The SEC Announces Cyber and
4:25
Emerging Technologies Unit to Protect retail Investors for
4:31
Immediate release The SEC today announced creation of the Cyber
4:35
an Emerging Technology Unit to focus on combating cyber related
4:41
misconduct and to protect retail investors from bad actors in the
4:46
emerging technology space. Led by Laura de Laird replaces
4:50
the crypto asset in Cyber UNIC and is comprised of
4:53
approximately 30 specialist. OK quote.
4:57
Under Laura's leadership, this new unit will complement the
5:00
work of the Crypto Task Force led by Commissioner Hester
5:05
Pierce. Importantly, the new unit will
5:07
also allow the SEC to deploy enforcement resources
5:11
judiciously. Easy for me to say.
5:15
The unit will not only protect investors, but we'll also
5:19
facilitate capital formation and market efficiency by clearing
5:24
the way for innovation to grow. It will root out those seeking
5:29
to misuse innovation to harm investors and diminish
5:33
confidence in new technologies. Specifically that will utilize
5:37
the staff substantial fintech and cyber related experience to
5:41
combat misconduct as it relates to securities transactions.
5:45
And they're going to be rooting out fraud committed using
5:48
emerging technologies, using social media and dark web or
5:52
false websites to perpetrate fraud.
5:55
Hacking to obtain material non public information takeovers of
6:00
retail brokerage accounts, fraud involving blockchain technology
6:04
and crypto assets and regulated entities, compliance with
6:08
cybersecurity rules and regulations and public issuer
6:12
fraudulent disclosure relating to cybersecurity.
6:17
So guys, it looks like they are stepping up their game in an
6:21
effort, right to maybe maybe root out some of this, some of
6:26
the shenanigans. Is it safe to say that look,
6:29
look, you know, we focus on the positive.
6:31
We focus on the good, right? That's what Unicorn fart does,
6:35
does that's what our community does.
6:37
But we know, and of course, the big one just recently was the
6:41
Libra situation with Argentina, that there's been possibly some
6:49
people in the meme coin sector that do things differently than
6:52
the way we do it. We focus on honesty, integrity,
6:56
reliability, community, good, attracting good.
7:00
And let's just say I think you know what we're talking about,
7:03
that there's some other actors out there.
7:05
You know it. I still stand by this very, it's
7:08
very important for us to remember this, right?
7:11
The crazier things get or the crazier that they got over the
7:15
last few weeks, the better we looked.
7:17
And we're seeing that now with a renewed level of momentum and
7:22
attention back on UFD. We just keep showing up.
7:27
We keep doing good and it's paying off.
7:30
It's it's paying dividends for us as we as we continue to grow
7:34
and continue to have this great experience together.
7:37
OK, let's go take a look here. Hopefully Luca will be joining
7:42
us in just a few minutes, but we had a few fun things to take a
7:46
look at. I thought this was actually
7:49
something very interesting. Men is a guy that I look up to a
7:53
person who has helped me on the German's dynasty and he put this
7:59
out just yesterday that today I bought a good amount of UFD that
8:03
would be us Dusters said from last week I'd given up on meme
8:07
coins. The culture we used to love
8:10
suddenly became all about money, money, money and with it
8:14
heightened greed and diabolical levels of extraction.
8:18
As I said before, I felt this shift immediately after the
8:21
Trump plus Melania, especially after Melania's launch.
8:26
Ron in the UFD community he's talking to you have stood
8:30
strong. And if you've watched his last
8:33
few streams, he's starting to also deeply understand crypto.
8:36
Wow, that's a big compliment. I don't know that I'd go that
8:39
far, but thank you, men. The narrative has not changed at
8:44
all. Think about what he just said,
8:46
guys. Our narrative, our story, right?
8:49
Our core beliefs that we operate on have not changed at all.
8:55
If anything, through this chaos, it's it's gotten even stronger.
8:59
I've been less vocal about my favorite meme coins over the
9:02
last few weeks because the environment has just been weird.
9:06
I would agree with that. Now it's hard for me because
9:08
I've only been in meme coins for about 10 weeks, but my belief in
9:12
this movement has never wavered. Meme coins may never get back to
9:16
what they once were, but I know one I know what things I'll be
9:21
holding. And then he posted that picture
9:24
of that interesting looking character that you Oh no, I
9:27
forgot to share that. Sorry, guys, I apologize.
9:32
You were looking at the SEC thing.
9:34
There's men's. There is men's post all the way
9:38
through. I read it to you line by line.
9:41
So welcome to the basement, right?
9:43
Welcome to live streaming with Ron.
9:47
So very interesting men is a guy who's highly respected within
9:52
the crypto world. Very, very smart.
9:55
Sorry. I should have told you that I
10:01
didn't even notice it myself, but he did get a super chat from
10:03
Don Ho. So thank you.
10:05
Thank you, Don for the Super chat.
10:06
Susie, you want to say hello to everybody?
10:09
Good afternoon, everybody. Thank you, Susie.
10:15
OK, so sorry about that guys. I forgot to share the
10:18
appropriate screen yet again. We got a few more fun things to
10:23
look at here. Let me pull that up and look at
10:29
this piece of art put together by one of our one of our fellow
10:34
Duster's UFD Duster's feet, Luca Nets.
10:38
And Luca hopefully here is going to be joining us in just a few
10:41
seconds. You know, he's a highly
10:43
respected person within the crypto arena.
10:48
Obviously there he is. All right, speak of him.
10:51
I'm gonna put him on Luca. Hey Ron, how you doing?
10:57
I'm doing great. Thank you so much for joining us
10:59
today. I'm happy to be here.
11:01
I love that big Penguin in your background.
11:05
Hey, not only that, hold on, I'll move my microphone.
11:08
I am wearing my sweatshirt. So yeah, you know, I've always,
11:12
I felt, always felt a certain camaraderie with with pudgy
11:15
Penguins and you. And so thank you.
11:19
Now I got to tell you, hold on. I'm going to pull up the full
11:21
screen because there's actually 3 Penguins on the screen.
11:25
So later I'm going to see if you can point them all out for us.
11:28
OK, I love that. It's going to be like one of
11:29
those games that I played when growing up on the book.
11:32
That's right. Exactly.
11:33
Yeah. The the giant, the giant
11:35
Penguin. You know, it's interesting.
11:36
About this time of day, the sun comes in from one of the windows
11:40
and lights them up really well. So perfect timing.
11:43
You know, I didn't I totally blanked on this, but I'll I'll
11:46
text you after this stream. But if you're streaming, there's
11:50
a we we have abstract, which has like the native crypto streams.
11:54
You'll be able to like earn rewards, you know, future
11:56
AirDrop and things like that. I, I, I popped into it.
12:00
I was like, I should have told Ron, we should have done it on
12:01
abstract because it's got its own audience, got people viewing
12:04
it anyway. And plus, you know, when, when
12:06
that kind of comes to fruition, you'll be able to like earn some
12:09
free monies that I think could be pretty cool.
12:12
Yeah, that sounds awesome. You know, I've read about
12:14
abstract a little bit and can you, can you like, can you just
12:18
briefly explain it to me like what it is and how it works?
12:22
Yeah, So we, we decided to start building a blockchain about six
12:25
months ago. And I think like whatever the
12:27
problems that we were looking to solve, I think there was really
12:29
2, which was, you know, the 0 to one in crypto is impossible.
12:33
So if you go to ABS dot XYZ, you can kind of go through that
12:35
flow. And I think we have the best
12:37
zero to 1 onboarding in crypto e-mail code, you're in, you have
12:40
your wallet, you have your full set up.
12:42
And I think the other side of it is like, how do you actually
12:45
create an ecosystem that's vertically integrated into one
12:48
singular domain that is really predicated around entertainment,
12:51
right? So the whole, the whole
12:53
ecosystem is really, you know, built around fun applications.
12:56
You have streamers making content around these fun
12:58
applications. All of that kind of ties into
13:00
this one singular interface. And the whole goal and the
13:03
objective is to really make crypto easy for, you know, the
13:06
person, maybe like yourself or or your friends and your family
13:09
members. You're pretty experienced now.
13:10
All right. But like, as, as you know, when
13:12
you first came into this, you're like, right, it's kind of hard
13:15
to put the pieces together. So you got to make it easy to
13:18
put the pieces together. Yeah, keep it.
13:20
Keep it simple. Did I see this morning that you
13:23
can now use Pengu to pay on? Was it Shopify or something
13:29
along those lines? On Shopify baby, so I think
13:32
there's a couple thousand websites now that have Pengu
13:35
integrated and we got some big ones coming, so I'm excited for
13:37
that. So you can actually use it as as
13:40
as a payment when you buy, when you, when you purchase things.
13:43
Yeah. Wow, wow.
13:45
Congratulations. I appreciate that and I, I was,
13:51
I was going to reach out to you about something I wanted to do
13:53
like a little product with the, with the Unicorn.
13:56
I know we, I know we talked about that last time we spoke,
13:58
but we got to get into that. I yes, I would be very, very
14:03
interested in talking to you about that.
14:05
I feel there's AI guess a kinship, I can call it, or the a
14:11
shared value system between pudgy Penguins and Unicorn
14:16
Bartus. And I know that the community
14:19
feels the same way and I know that you have an expertise and
14:24
in taking, you know, products to market.
14:26
And I think it's something that that I'd be very interested in
14:29
talking to you about. Luca.
14:31
Absolutely. You know I'm ready to
14:33
rock'n'roll. Yeah, yeah.
14:35
So let me ask you a question. I saw a tweet that you put out a
14:39
couple days ago that you something along the lines of are
14:43
the good guys going to win like within this environment within
14:46
meme coins? And do you care to comment on
14:48
that at all at this point? Yeah, I think, I think we will.
14:54
I think it's been a really rough last 6-8 weeks.
14:58
I know you felt that. I know I've felt that.
14:59
I think all of our communities have felt it basically like
15:02
every meme coin is took in a 7080% haircut and it doesn't
15:07
feel good. And I think ultimately it's a
15:09
byproduct of a lot of these bad actors coming in and taking
15:11
something that is really fun and meaningful and I think has a ton
15:16
of potential and then just using it.
15:18
And you know, but ultimately bad, bad actors don't make a
15:22
category. I think the good actors do and
15:27
and they will win. They will win it just in
15:30
moments, in moments like I think the last couple of weeks, it
15:33
feels like they're not going to, or you can start second guessing
15:36
it, but you know, it's kind of like a mean to reversion.
15:39
You know, when the country goes so far left and we go right or
15:42
we go so far right, you go left. It's like kind of everything,
15:45
you know, it's a societal thing. And I think right now mean coins
15:49
have gone so far left to like the worst of what I think they
15:53
they could be. And so like the mean will revert
15:57
now. I think we'll go, we're going to
15:58
start getting right in the right direction and I think you know
16:02
you myself, you know a couple others I think are are going to
16:05
be a benefactors of that. Yeah, it feels like and I've
16:09
only been in this for 10 weeks, right, Luca?
16:11
So. But even within those 10 weeks,
16:14
it. Seems like 10 weeks.
16:16
What A10? What's that, buddy?
16:19
What a 10 weeks to be a part of it.
16:21
You, you picked a crazy 10 weeks.
16:23
I'll tell and I'll tell you, Ron, you, you, you survived
16:26
these these type of 10 weeks. I've been here for seven years,
16:31
88 years now. Wow, I've been here for eight
16:34
years. This is as bad as it's gotten.
16:36
This is this because usually there's like, it's never been
16:41
this angry and aggressive. It's only been this way off the
16:45
backs of black Swans. This is the first time there
16:48
hasn't been a Black Swan in which people are just out to
16:51
kill. And they're just so resentful
16:53
and so angry. It's just a, you know, it just
16:57
feels so dire. So you, you, I, I told, you
17:00
know, I've been telling people around me this like you make it
17:03
out of this one. You'll you'll, you'll you'll
17:05
make it out of anything in this space, I think.
17:07
Yeah. And, and do you feel like like
17:10
your community, your the, the pudgy Penguin community?
17:13
Because I feel this with UFD, it doesn't feel like we're maybe
17:17
expanding a lot in the last few weeks by numbers, but it feels
17:21
like the community is like galvanizing and and becoming
17:26
forged even stronger throughout this like difficult period.
17:31
Red Red candles make community. You don't have a community
17:34
without red candles, right? The green can the green, the
17:37
community built around green candles is not a community.
17:41
It's, it's, it's, it's people, you know, piling into the
17:45
opportunity, which is totally fine, right?
17:47
Communities forged during the downturns, right?
17:50
Like one of the, you know, you don't know too much about the
17:52
purchase of Pudgy Penguins. I bought it, right?
17:54
So I'm not the creator or the founder.
17:56
I actually bought it because I saw the opportunity.
17:58
An interesting thing for you that like, and for the people
18:01
listening, one of the reasons why I bought it was because
18:05
Pudgy's run went from like zero and a .1 ETH to four ETH and
18:09
then through like a bunch of chaos and FUD, you know, went to
18:12
like point 6.5. I think .5 was a low point 6.7
18:17
kind of want to hover that so very much an 8085% retrace in
18:20
which they kind of stood there for a little bit.
18:23
And the fascinating part for me and one of the like the when I
18:27
was like looking at the vectors as to like what, why should I
18:30
buy this was like, it wasn't going to 0, you know, And if it
18:37
and if and if it didn't go to 0, then I think that presented a
18:40
really unique opportunity where I felt like the community was
18:45
buying this, not for any other reason outside of the love for
18:49
the Penguin. And then being able to hold that
18:52
line and build that camaraderie and build that community and
18:56
build that friendship was really indicative of me of something
18:59
that was going to stand the test of time.
19:02
But you wouldn't know that if you don't know that.
19:05
Like you wouldn't know that if you don't go down 80% or 85%.
19:09
I mean, these are blessings. Doesn't feel like that, you know
19:11
what I mean? Like we're all human.
19:13
And, you know, community members could be frustrated.
19:15
You could be frustrated, I could be frustrated.
19:17
But ultimately, like the beauty and these assets to like look at
19:22
doge, look at anything that's ever broken through, like these
19:26
assets are going to have. This is not going to be be the
19:28
first time this is going to happen, right?
19:30
And, and it's going to happen many times.
19:32
If, if your destiny is truly pure preordained and if you
19:36
actually are going to be something that is going to be
19:38
great within this industry, right?
19:40
It's going, it's going to have to have these, these moments.
19:44
And there's either 2 directions. It's either going to die and
19:47
wither away or it's going to come back, right?
19:50
And, and I think it's too early to tell.
19:52
I think we're, you know, it feels like the bottom.
19:55
We'll see, you know, and, and, and, and, but you know, you make
20:00
it back from this. You're on a path towards
20:02
greatness. So let's see, let's see what the
20:04
Unicorn fart dust community is made-up.
20:06
Let's see what the Pengu community is made-up.
20:08
And hopefully I see you guys at the top and I, I have every
20:11
expectation that both of our communities will be there.
20:14
Yeah, I was going to say I have a feeling we're both going to be
20:16
there at the top because, yeah, the other component is, you
20:19
know, like you're a steady presence within the Pengu
20:23
community. I'm a steady presence within the
20:25
UFD community. There's something to be said for
20:29
continuing, you know, the March forward through the hard times,
20:33
like you said, like, you know, like it's it's it's easy to be
20:37
feeling good when and and quote UN quote growing when there's a
20:41
bunch of green candles. But the, the true test comes
20:45
during the hard times and, and it feels like, you know, as I
20:49
observe your community and I observe what's going on in ours
20:53
that we're, that we're proving that.
20:56
And I've only been at this for 10 weeks, but we're proving that
21:00
we're here to stay. And it's, it's becoming,
21:02
becoming stronger. Well, I'll, I'll speak to you.
21:05
And this is like, you know, most people in moments like this curl
21:09
up in a ball and fold, right? And so you showing up and being
21:12
present, like, let that be a testament to your community.
21:14
I think that was really important for me these last
21:16
couple of weeks is like, OK, like, now's not the time to not
21:20
do the interviews and to not do the podcast.
21:23
Like now is the time to do as many of those, right?
21:25
Because I, I feel just the same as I did six weeks ago, 8 weeks
21:31
ago, when we're at all time highs.
21:32
That hasn't changed, right? Like maybe the price has and the
21:36
market has, but my condition in this, my belief in this, in this
21:40
community, in this IP, in this entity, you know, and, and if
21:44
anything, like I should be championing it now more than
21:46
ever because the trade's gotten better, right?
21:48
So, you know, let, let that, let that be a symbol of, you know, a
21:53
lot of respect for you, Ron, especially as a newcomer, right,
21:55
somebody who hasn't been been in this for very long.
21:59
There's a lot shows a lot of of your character.
22:01
Yeah, yeah. So, so as you've built Pudgy
22:05
Penguins, I wanted to ask you what are what are some of the
22:08
big lessons you've learned about community and what makes the
22:11
difference between some of the other communities and what
22:15
you've been able to accomplish with with Pudgy Penguins?
22:18
Yeah, I think, you know, part of it is what we just spoke about
22:21
now, which is like the tenacity to survive and to and to be
22:25
there, like resilience, right, Is such an important part of the
22:28
community. I think, I think the ability to
22:33
just like communicate in a line and try to be in there with
22:37
them. I I don't think like any founder
22:39
who's taking the approach of like an ivory tower might have
22:41
succeeded in the past. I don't think they'll succeed in
22:43
the future. I think, you know, you are the,
22:48
you know, you are a piece of the hive mind.
22:50
You are not the singular mind, right?
22:52
It is, it's a group of people who are here together and you
22:55
know, I'm, I have a big organization.
22:57
So I tell our organization like, you know, we're the muscle to
23:00
the, to the mind that is everyone who's aligned here.
23:05
That's probably a really important one.
23:07
And then I think just like, you know, having something that in
23:14
like having something that I think is bigger than yourself to
23:16
believe in, I think is important, You know, especially
23:19
in times like this, it this, this, I can't stress enough.
23:22
Like these are the times. These this is this is the, this
23:25
is the, this is the, this is the crux of it, all right?
23:29
Like this is this is the crutch moments like this, because when
23:32
everything's going up into the right, it doesn't tell you
23:34
anything. It doesn't it doesn't
23:36
necessarily mean anything. It means something for the
23:38
community because elephant in the room is things cost money.
23:41
People are spending money, right?
23:42
You don't want to ignore that. That's important.
23:46
But I think it's just like the beauty of like what it, when you
23:49
remove that from the equation, why are you here, right?
23:52
Because if you don't have your why, it just becomes a trade
23:56
and, and look like anyone here is making a trade, like
23:59
shouldn't be here at this moment, right?
24:01
Like the, the trade is, you know, the, the OR, or, you know,
24:05
you should have a plan and they, they shouldn't be watching live
24:08
streams or engaging in the content.
24:10
A lot of the people that are here right now watching this or
24:13
participating in, you know, other parts of the ecosystem,
24:15
whether it's yours or mine, like those are believers.
24:18
Those are people who have a greater purpose.
24:20
And that, that is the, the thing that people lose sight of very
24:24
quickly, right? Is like, well, why do, why, why
24:28
was I even in this in the 1st place?
24:29
There's really 2 buckets you're in to make a trade in which you
24:33
have a plan and you, your likelihood of participating in
24:37
streams like this or watching things like this, or probably,
24:40
you know, in the singular percentage tile or you're in the
24:43
other bucket where you, where you genuinely believe in
24:45
something, right? And, and why do you believe in
24:48
it, right? Well, you, did you believe in it
24:51
because of the price? Well, that was a farce, right?
24:53
Did you, or did you believe in it because maybe the, the future
24:56
price is a thing, But like, there has to be something more,
25:00
right? There has to be something more
25:02
there in it. And that's something more.
25:03
Doesn't need to be toys or products.
25:06
Or it can be camaraderie, It can be friendship.
25:09
It's community, right? A mission, a mission, a shared
25:14
mission. Yeah.
25:15
You know, as you, as you were talking, I was thinking about
25:17
community. And like, as I, as I look at, I
25:20
think, I guess any community, it's like a network of, of all
25:24
these different relationships between all these different
25:27
people that have a like a shared goal and a shared reason why,
25:33
right. And when I think about about and
25:35
you, you're, you're, you're the, the, the CEO and the, the
25:39
expert. But when I think about pudgy
25:41
Penguins and what I've learned about them and I, when I think
25:44
about Unicorn fart dust, I feel like we kind of share this idea
25:49
of like fairness and trust and good and, and being like a, like
25:56
a, like an opportunity for normal everyday people to get
26:00
engaged and have these relationships with each other.
26:04
But also be part of this bigger, I guess mission, for lack of a
26:08
better way to say it, where, where we are wanting good, not
26:13
just like, I don't know, I don't want to use Libra as an example,
26:17
but like it's just a situation that's just purely about making
26:21
money, right? Like we have a bigger, a bigger,
26:25
a bigger. Why behind us.
26:26
Does that? Does that make sense?
26:28
Totally. I mean and and and that that is
26:31
the difference between I think the groups that will stand the
26:33
test of time. I mean, what is, you know, you
26:36
know, I, I learned this a hard way.
26:38
It's like an anecdotal experience, but like, you know,
26:40
making money is futile if there's not a why, nor is it
26:43
that enjoyable after a certain point, right?
26:46
So like there, there needs to be, Hey, look, there's, there's,
26:50
you know, you want to make money, go on the pump fun
26:52
trenches and start clicking until your eyes fall off, right?
26:56
Or or believe in something and and and figure out your why and
27:00
and align on that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
27:02
I saw a post on your on the pudgy Penguins earlier, Like
27:07
there was a walk that people were doing, I think in Hong
27:10
Kong. And you know, just like, and
27:13
that's, I think with UFD where we aspire to get at some point,
27:17
right, where people are having meetups and doing these things
27:21
for good. Do you think events like that
27:24
even further galvanized your your community?
27:27
It it makes the difference, right?
27:29
Price up 100%, down 70%, doesn't matter.
27:32
We're still all hanging out together.
27:34
You know, we're all there for one another.
27:37
There isn't a city or country in the world that you can't go find
27:41
somebody who's aligned with pudgy Penguins who won't help
27:43
you if you need help. That is the value, right?
27:46
And, and, and that value compounds specifically in an
27:50
industry where the reason why that matters, right?
27:53
Because like some traditional people could roll their eyes and
27:56
be like, that's a farce, right? Or that's a story that they're
27:58
trying to tell in an industry like this.
28:02
It is really relevant because it's so digitized and it's so
28:07
volatile and can be so angry that that actually has a, a
28:13
ginormous premium, right? And it matters actually so much
28:18
because it is it is very much the light, you know, in a very
28:21
dark tunnel, right? The dark tunnel being technology
28:25
and, you know, financial motivations and like all of
28:31
that, like, you know, stuff that, you know, on, on your
28:35
deathbed, like doesn't matter, you know, but what matters is
28:39
people, it's friends, it's camaraderie, It's, it's being
28:42
there for one another. It's going and saying, Hey, I'm
28:45
going to consensus in Hong Kong, but let me go rally with 100
28:48
people to go on a hike and enjoy nature and, you know, share
28:51
information and, and, and just be with one another in, in, in,
28:56
in, in some parts of the world, that's common in our crypto
29:00
universe. It is not right.
29:02
And, and so that, that is actually where the, that, that's
29:06
the floor, right? That sets the floor as to like,
29:10
you know what I mean? You know, the ceiling, you can't
29:12
control the ceiling, right? To some extent, you can control
29:16
a floor at some point. I can't control what the market
29:18
is, but at some point you got to buy, you know, at some point
29:21
you're going to buy a pudgy Penguin and a pengu because the,
29:24
because there's a, there's an intrinsic floor to that, right?
29:28
And, and people will be a part of that at some point.
29:32
And that's that that I think is important.
29:35
In the in the in what I've learned, and you correct me if
29:38
I'm wrong, Luca, but what I've learned is like the real value
29:43
in a meme coin is in the community, right?
29:47
That's really all that all that it is.
29:49
And, you know, I read something about four weeks ago that that
29:54
made me feel good about what I'm doing, you know, is my small
29:57
part within the, within the UFD community.
30:00
And that what I read was that. And it made sense to me that
30:03
there's an an epidemic of isolation going on in the world
30:07
now and that people are hungry for connection and people are
30:12
hungry to be parts of community and people are hungry to have
30:16
like a mission. And I thought that it like a big
30:19
light bulb. I've got a few light bulbs left
30:21
up there. They can still come on.
30:23
But a big light bulb went on. And I thought that's what we're
30:26
doing, right? That's the why I think you said
30:29
that earlier behind behind what I think a lot of the the good
30:34
communities are doing is giving people, you know, that
30:38
opportunity to be involved and that opportunity to have a why.
30:42
And I think that's a good thing. Yeah, I totally agree.
30:46
Yep, Yep. Well, thank you.
30:50
It's always great to talk to you.
30:51
Now before you leave, you got I'm gonna I'm gonna quiz you and
30:54
see if you can find you're ready to play.
30:56
Find the three Penguins. There's all right, There's all
31:00
right. Luca, can you see the whole
31:01
screen? There's three Penguins.
31:03
I think you found one of them already.
31:05
You see the second one? I found the second one on the
31:07
bear. On the bear.
31:09
Now the third one's hard. Top right chef's hat.
31:13
Yep, you got him. Actually, I got to tell you.
31:15
Oh, you know what? Susie wants to say hi to you
31:17
too. Hold on a second.
31:19
You know, I don't know if you know this, but Susie, my wife
31:22
talks to me via walkie-talkie. Oh, there's four.
31:26
There's four. What do you mean there's four?
31:31
Susie, is there another Penguin? It's.
31:34
On. You.
31:35
Oh, it's on me. That's right.
31:36
There's one on my shirt. Yes.
31:38
There we go. There's one on my shirt as well.
31:40
You want to say hi to Luca real quick?
31:42
Hi. Luca, it's great to have you on
31:45
today. Thank you so much for your time.
31:48
We, we appreciate you, Susie, for taking care of Ron.
31:51
Ron looks so good. I mean, Ron, you're, you're, you
31:54
know, you look 40. Well they I'm 55, yesterday was
31:58
my birthday so. Happy birthday, man.
32:00
Your skin's better than mine. You're glowing.
32:02
You're looking good dude. Well, you know, I, I, I, I got
32:05
to be honest with you, Luca. I was nervous before this.
32:09
I always get nervous. I've said that before, but you
32:12
are somebody that I really look up to.
32:16
I think I may have told you this story, but like the second night
32:19
into my Unicorn fart dust journey, I watched a video
32:23
someone had sent me of Murad, this speech he did at the
32:26
Singapore conference. And then you popped up next and
32:30
within like I'm, I'm serious within like 3 minutes of
32:33
listening to you talk, I'll just be honest with you.
32:36
I thought this, this young man is a gene is a genius.
32:39
So the opportunity to get you on here and I think, you know, I
32:44
don't know how to describe it, but I feel a real camaraderie
32:48
between our communities and that we're aligned on a lot of the
32:51
same things. I know a lot of people in the
32:55
UFD community are also in the the pengu community, pudgy
32:58
Penguin community. And I just have a lot of respect
33:02
for you and what you've accomplished in such a short
33:06
time. But the but at the same time,
33:09
what I just know is a very solid community.
33:13
So thank you. OK.
33:15
I appreciate that Ron, and the respect is mutual and I hope you
33:18
have a great rest of your day. You too.
33:20
Thanks Luca. See you later.
33:21
And I got to get you on abstract.
33:23
I got to get you streaming on abstract.
33:24
If you're going to stream, it's the same setup.
33:26
So I'm going to set you up on that.
33:27
Can I do it through? I use stream yard, can I do it
33:30
through? It's the exact same thing you
33:31
would do anywhere else. OK, All right, we're.
33:34
Just going to get points that are or XP that's going to
33:37
convert to money and it might just be I might be able to get
33:40
you and and misses UFD maybe a lake house one day.
33:47
I'm all in favor of that buddy. Thank you.
33:49
And if let's talk in the next week or so about a maybe a joint
33:53
product as well. I think that would be really,
33:56
really awesome. I know the community would be
33:59
super excited about it as well. I'm ready to rock, boss.
34:02
Have a great rest of your day. All right, All right.
34:04
Thanks, Luca. Bye.
34:05
Bye. All right, guys.
34:08
Wow. And that's the truth.
34:10
The story I told about about Luca listening to an interview
34:16
that he did on like the second night that I was in the UFD,
34:20
I've always felt a real camaraderie.
34:23
I said it already with with the Pudgy Penguin community.
34:26
So hey guys, thanks for being here.
34:29
Thank you for being part of the UFD community, part of Duster
34:34
Club. You know, it's I just really
34:37
feel like our momentum is continuing to grow and
34:41
continuing to grow, but that's only happening because like Luca
34:45
talked about and we and I talked about, right, because of these,
34:48
these relationships that are being formed within our
34:52
community, people looking out for each other, people trusting
34:56
each other. And I think even most
34:58
importantly, and I'm glad he brought that up.
35:00
You know the why behind, like what is the why behind what
35:04
we're doing and the why is good attracts good, but why is a fair
35:10
and level playing field. But why is you know, the the way
35:14
that UFD was created and and and really the way it was created
35:19
was because of a community takeover from you from day one.
35:24
So keep up the great work. Again, I want to say thanks to
35:28
Luca for joining us today and go Penguins, go UFD and I'll see
35:34
you guys tomorrow. Thank you.
