- 0:00SPEAKER_01: Hey, you know what today is?
- 0:02SPEAKER_01: Weenie Wednesday.
- 0:03SPEAKER_01: Yes, it is.
- 0:04SPEAKER_01: The weieners are gonna be cooking in a couple hours.
- 0:07SPEAKER_01: Well, I mean, not yet.
- 0:08SPEAKER_00: I have relish on my back because I put relish in my bag, my work bag, and apparently it leaked down my back.
- 0:16SPEAKER_00: So now I already smell like a weenie.
- 0:20SPEAKER_00: It's I don't know.
- 0:22SPEAKER_01: I mean, you know, I travel with baby wipes.
- 0:24SPEAKER_01: Do you need do you need a wipe down?
- 0:26SPEAKER_00: I just know it's wet back there.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: Oh god.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: That's all I know.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: And this is on your back.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's like on my lower back where you like you throw a bag.
- 0:33SPEAKER_01: Oh my God.
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: Jordan, I need you to go to my car, get the baby wipes.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: She needs a scrub down.
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: Just yuck.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: And listen.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: Which honestly, I don't know.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: Do you want to be sticky all day?
- 0:45SPEAKER_00: I've watching The Pit, and this is so morbid.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: But this guy dies in the show.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: Hell yeah.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: And he's really bloody because he hemorrhaged.
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: And do you like how we're talking about hot dogs and then this?
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: But hold on, there's a lot of things.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: There'll be no meat sauce today.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: However, right now on this segment of the show, there sure will be.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: There's a correlation.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: So the guy was uh he was a frequent flyer in the hospital.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: And whenever you know, they wanted to pay their respects.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: So when they were wanted to pay their respects, the nurses all they did was wipe them down with some baby wipes.
- 1:14SPEAKER_00: I'm like, that's it.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: But listen, you you all think I'm crazy because you know, technically my kids are outside of diaper years.
- 1:21SPEAKER_01: Technically.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: I mean, I'm closer than they are to uh diaper years, right?
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: But there is something about baby wipes that you if you have a pack in your car, you feel safer with the with the world around you.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so in the show, they at first it was like, okay, the you get rid of the the big stuff, right?
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: Like whatever the liver.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: The liver.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: I meant like the sheets, you know.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: You get rid of the big stuff.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: And then not only did they do it once, but then they came back later and there was a young nurse who was training, and the the older nurse said, Well, we're gonna go back in, we're gonna do this again.
- 1:56SPEAKER_00: And she's like, But we already did it.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: And the woman explains, Well, you know, there's gonna be some other dry blood.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 2:02SPEAKER_01: There's the residual.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, well, you even find that with a kid, you know, like Lydia's funny.
- 2:07SPEAKER_01: It doesn't matter what she's eating, she will find a way to get it all over her face still.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: Lydia, me.
- 2:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, well, that too.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you get it on your back.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: I'm far more impressed.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: I know, right?
- 2:17SPEAKER_01: I also love the fact that you have prepared for lunch already and brought your own sweet relish.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: Oh, no, what happened was I was getting all of the um condiments yesterday, and that was the one thing that I I just couldn't find.
- 2:30SPEAKER_00: Like I I couldn't find packets of anything, to be honest with you.
- 2:33SPEAKER_00: So today at Weenie Wednesday, so yeah, let's explain that.
- 2:36SPEAKER_00: Weenie Wednesday kicks off at 11 o'clock, right here in our back parking lot.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: If you don't know where we're at, we are on the Miracle Mile, right down from the Mark Twain golf course.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: But anyway, um, you're gonna drive through, get two hot dogs and a bag of chips, all for five dollars, plus get a free Coke product.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: But as far as finding the little packets of condiments, oh yeah.
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: That's something that I couldn't find yesterday.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: Really?
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: No.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: So they had the Even at the Samuel's?
- 3:03SPEAKER_00: That's where I went.
- 3:04SPEAKER_00: Couldn't find it.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: So I ended up just you know, wrangling some condiments, but the relish was something that I brought from home.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: That was that that's a specific for you treat.
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: Oh, well, I have two different relishes.
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: And I even just to really level up the Weenie Wednesday today, guys.
- 3:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 3:22SPEAKER_00: So this one I won't be sharing with the class because this has been opened and for you know health purposes.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: It's the big dilly pickle kraut.
- 3:30SPEAKER_01: Oh, wow.
- 3:31SPEAKER_00: Yes, I got it at Ithaca Farmers Market today.
- 3:33SPEAKER_01: It is, yeah, look at that.
- 3:34SPEAKER_00: But I also brought onions to dice up in case we needed them.
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 3:38SPEAKER_01: So now we're chopping.
- 3:40SPEAKER_00: Well, I just thought, you know, if if somebody wants some onions, we can accommodate.
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 3:45SPEAKER_01: Do you have a sharp knife?
- 3:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we have the blue one in the kitchen.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: That is not sharp.
- 3:49SPEAKER_00: This is a sharpened knife.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: No, not the big long one.
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: Yes, I know exactly the one you're talking about.
- 3:56SPEAKER_01: It is plastic.
- 3:57SPEAKER_01: It's not.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: It's like it's like a metal.
- 4:01SPEAKER_00: The handle's plastic.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: The the knife is metal.
- 4:04SPEAKER_01: No.
- 4:04SPEAKER_00: Yes, I'm gonna need to look at this.
- 4:06SPEAKER_01: Go touch.
- 4:07SPEAKER_01: I'm bringing the knife in here in a minute.
- 4:09SPEAKER_00: Jordan.
- 4:11SPEAKER_01: Just keep going.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: Come here.
- 4:12SPEAKER_00: Can you grab the blue knife from the kitchen?
- 4:15SPEAKER_01: Do we have a cutting board or are we doing this too?
- 4:17SPEAKER_01: Oh, we do?
- 4:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: We've got don't worry, we got everything.
- 4:19SPEAKER_01: Okay, that's good.
- 4:20SPEAKER_01: Can you do me a favor?
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: There's a long blue knife in the kitchen.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna kill her.
- 4:24SPEAKER_01: Can you just go get it?
- 4:24SPEAKER_01: Uh really.
- 4:25SPEAKER_00: Just want to make sure that it can penetrate the skin.
- 4:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we're just making sure that he's I got a thumbs up.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: That was an instantaneous thumbs up.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: Did he actually go get the baby wipes?
- 4:34SPEAKER_01: No, no, not yet.
- 4:35SPEAKER_01: No, I'm gonna do that next, though, for you.
- 4:36SPEAKER_01: We're gonna do a wipe down.
- 4:38SPEAKER_01: We can't go through the day feeling sticky.
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: You're making me uncomfortable.
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: I don't know if it's sticky.
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: I might have been.
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: Bring me this.
- 4:45SPEAKER_01: Bring this to me.
- 4:45SPEAKER_01: Oh, it's totally metal.
- 4:46SPEAKER_01: This is there When did we get this knife?
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: This is the big blue knife that's lived here forever.
- 4:52SPEAKER_01: There's another blue knife in there, isn't there?
- 4:54SPEAKER_01: No.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: That was the only big blue knife I saw.
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: Well, um, I've apparently been working somewhere else.
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: I can I'm touching the metal.
- 5:02SPEAKER_00: Like, there you go.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: I needed I needed that.
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: I really thought we had this big janky plastic, you know, thing.
- 5:10SPEAKER_01: I've seen you use it.
- 5:11SPEAKER_00: This is the knife I always use.
- 5:13SPEAKER_00: You know what?
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: The long story is if somebody wants onions, they're hot.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: Onions, relish, ketchup mustard.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: Well done.
- 5:20SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 5:20SPEAKER_01: Well, we'll we'll tell you what.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: We're taking cash only, aren't we?
- 5:23SPEAKER_01: Yes, it's cash only because, well, we don't have a way to read a chip right here.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: Well, this is like everything.
- 5:28SPEAKER_00: You could Venmo me and I could always just give the money to Melissa.
- 5:31SPEAKER_01: This is uh the the yeah, let's do one more process to this.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: Uh, this is like everyone I got my Venmo QR code in my car.
- 5:38SPEAKER_01: This is oh, that's right, you do.
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: All right, it's a possibility, but the reality to it is also think of going to any craft fair uh in the twin tiers.
- 5:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 5:45SPEAKER_01: It's cash only.
- 5:47SPEAKER_01: Unless you really want to put your Venmo out.
