- 0:00Speaker 1: Chapters one through five, Parable of Enoch on the future
- 0:03Speaker 1: lot of the wicked and the Righteous. Chapter one the
- 0:07Speaker 1: Words of the Blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the
- 0:11Speaker 1: elect and righteous, who will be living in the day
- 0:13Speaker 1: of Tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to
- 0:17Speaker 1: be removed. And he took up his parable, and said, Enoch,
- 0:21Speaker 1: a righteous man whose eyes were opened by God, saw
- 0:25Speaker 1: the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which
- 0:27Speaker 1: the angels showed me. And from them I heard everything,
- 0:32Speaker 1: and from them I understood as I saw, but not
- 0:36Speaker 1: for this generation, but for a remote one which is
- 0:39Speaker 1: for to come. Concerning the elect, I said, and took
- 0:43Speaker 1: up my parable. Concerning them, the Holy Great One will
- 0:47Speaker 1: come forth from his dwelling, and the Eternal God will
- 0:51Speaker 1: tread upon the earth, even on Mountain Sinai, and appear
- 0:55Speaker 1: from his camp, and appear in the strength of his
- 0:58Speaker 1: might from the heaven of heaven. And all shall be
- 1:01Speaker 1: smitten with fear, and the watchers shall quake, and great
- 1:05Speaker 1: fear and trembling shall seize them unto the ends of
- 1:08Speaker 1: the earth. And the high mountains shall be shaken, and
- 1:12Speaker 1: the high hills shall be made low, and shall melt
- 1:15Speaker 1: like quax before the flame, and the earth shall be
- 1:19Speaker 1: wholly rent and sunder, and all that is upon the
- 1:22Speaker 1: earth shall perish, and there shall be a judgment upon
- 1:25Speaker 1: all men. But with the righteous he will make peace
- 1:28Speaker 1: and will protect the elect, and mercy shall be upon them,
- 1:33Speaker 1: and they shall all belong to God, and they shall
- 1:35Speaker 1: be prospered, and they shall all be blessed, and He
- 1:38Speaker 1: will help them all, and light shall appear unto them,
- 1:42Speaker 1: and He will make peace with them. And behold, he
- 1:45Speaker 1: cometh with ten thousand of his holy ones, to execute
- 1:48Speaker 1: judgment upon all, and to destroy all the ungodly, and
- 1:52Speaker 1: to convict all flesh of all the works of their
- 1:55Speaker 1: ungodliness which they have ungodly committed, and of all the
- 1:59Speaker 1: hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. Chapter two.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Observe ye everything that takes place in the heaven. How
- 2:08Speaker 1: they do not change their orbits, and the luminaries which
- 2:11Speaker 1: are in the heaven, How they all rise and set
- 2:14Speaker 1: in order, each in its season, and transgress not against
- 2:18Speaker 1: their appointed order. Behold ye the earth, and give heed
- 2:22Speaker 1: to the things which take place upon it, from first
- 2:25Speaker 1: to last, How steadfast they are, how none of the
- 2:29Speaker 1: things upon the earth change, but all the works of
- 2:32Speaker 1: God appear to you. Behold the summer in the winter,
- 2:35Speaker 1: how the whole earth is filled with water, and clouds,
- 2:38Speaker 1: and dew and rain lie upon it. Chapter three. Observe
- 2:43Speaker 1: and see how in the winter all the trees seem
- 2:46Speaker 1: as though they had withered and shed all their leaves,
- 2:49Speaker 1: except fourteen trees, which do not lose the foliage, but
- 2:54Speaker 1: retain the old foliage from two to three years till
- 2:57Speaker 1: the new comes. Chapter four, And again observe ye the
- 3:02Speaker 1: days of summer, how the sun is above the earth
- 3:04Speaker 1: over against it, and you seek shade and shelter by
- 3:08Speaker 1: reason of the heat of the sun. And the earth
- 3:10Speaker 1: also burns with growing heat, and so you cannot tread
- 3:14Speaker 1: on the earth or on a rock by reason of
- 3:17Speaker 1: its heat. Chapter five. Observe ye how the trees cover
- 3:22Speaker 1: themselves with green leaves and bear fruit. Wherefore, give ye
- 3:27Speaker 1: heed and know with regard to all his works, and
- 3:30Speaker 1: recognize how He that liveth forever hath made them so,
- 3:35Speaker 1: and all his works go on thus from year to
- 3:37Speaker 1: year forever, and all the tasks which they accomplish for Him,
- 3:42Speaker 1: and their tasks change not, but according as God hath ordained,
- 3:47Speaker 1: So is it done. And behold how the sea and
- 3:50Speaker 1: the rivers, in like manner accomplish and change not their
- 3:53Speaker 1: tasks from His commandments. But ye ye have not been
- 3:57Speaker 1: steadfast nor done the commandment of the Lord. But ye
- 4:01Speaker 1: have turned away and spoken proud and hard words with
- 4:04Speaker 1: your impure mouths against His greatness. Oh, ye hard hearted,
- 4:09Speaker 1: ye shall find no peace. Therefore shall ye execrate your days,
- 4:14Speaker 1: and the years of your life shall perish, and the
- 4:17Speaker 1: years of your destruction shall be multiplied in eternal execration,
- 4:21Speaker 1: and ye shall find no mercy in those days. Ye
- 4:25Speaker 1: shall make your names an eternal execration unto all the righteous,
- 4:30Speaker 1: and by you shall all who curse curse, and all
- 4:34Speaker 1: the sinners and godless shall imprecate. By you, and for
- 4:39Speaker 1: you the godless, there shall be a curse, and all
- 4:43Speaker 1: the shall rejoice, and there shall be forgiveness of sins
- 4:47Speaker 1: and every mercy and peace, and forbearance. There shall be
- 4:51Speaker 1: salvation unto them a godly light. And for all of
- 4:55Speaker 1: you sinners there shall be no salvation, but on you
- 4:58Speaker 1: all shall abide a c But for the elect there
- 5:02Speaker 1: shall be light and joy and peace. And they shall
- 5:05Speaker 1: inherit the earth, and then there shall be bestowed upon
- 5:09Speaker 1: the elect wisdom, and they shall all live and never
- 5:13Speaker 1: again sin, either through on godliness or through pride. But
- 5:18Speaker 1: they who are wise shall be humble, and they shall
- 5:21Speaker 1: not again transgress, nor shall they sin all the days
- 5:24Speaker 1: of their life, nor shall they die of the divine
- 5:27Speaker 1: anger or wrath. But they shall complete the number of
- 5:31Speaker 1: the days of their life, and their lives shall be
- 5:34Speaker 1: increased in peace, and the years of their joy shall
- 5:38Speaker 1: be multiplied in eternal gladness and peace all the days
- 5:42Speaker 1: of their life. Chapter six. Chapter six through eleven, The
- 5:48Speaker 1: fall of the angels, the demoralization of mankind, the intercession
- 5:53Speaker 1: of the angels on behalf of mankind, the dooms pronounced
- 5:57Speaker 1: by God on the angels, the Messianic kingdom a Noah fragment,
- 6:02Speaker 1: Chapter six. And it came to pass when the children
- 6:05Speaker 1: of men had multiplied, that in those days were born
- 6:08Speaker 1: unto them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the
- 6:12Speaker 1: children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and
- 6:16Speaker 1: said to one another, come, let us choose us wives
- 6:19Speaker 1: from among the children of men, and beget us children.
- 6:23Speaker 1: And some Jasa who was their leader said unto them,
- 6:26Speaker 1: I fear you will not indeed agree to do this deed,
- 6:29Speaker 1: and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of
- 6:32Speaker 1: a great sin. And they all answered him and said,
- 6:35Speaker 1: let us all swear an oath and all bind ourselves
- 6:38Speaker 1: by mutual imprecations, not to abandon this plan, but to
- 6:42Speaker 1: do this thing. Then swear they all together and bound
- 6:46Speaker 1: themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And they were in
- 6:50Speaker 1: all two hundred who descended in the days of Jared
- 6:53Speaker 1: on the summit of Mount Hermon. And they called it
- 6:56Speaker 1: Mount Herman because they had sworn and bound themselves by
- 6:59Speaker 1: mute mutual imprecations upon it. And these are the names
- 7:03Speaker 1: of their leaders samezas their leader Arikuba, Ramiel, Coccabiel, Tamil, Ramiel, Danel, Ezekuil,
- 7:16Speaker 1: Barkal Asael, Amurus, batarl Ananel, Zokil, Samsapiel, Satarrel, Thruel, Holmhal Sariel.
- 7:31Speaker 1: These are their chiefs of Tens chapter seven. And all
- 7:36Speaker 1: the others together with them, took unto themselves wives, and
- 7:40Speaker 1: each chose for himself one. And they began to go
- 7:43Speaker 1: in unto them and to defile themselves with them, and
- 7:46Speaker 1: they taught them charms and enchantments in the cutting of roots,
- 7:50Speaker 1: and made them acquainted with plants. And they became pregnant,
- 7:54Speaker 1: and they bear great giants whose height was three thousand els,
- 7:58Speaker 1: who consumed all the acquisitions of men. And when men
- 8:02Speaker 1: could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against them
- 8:06Speaker 1: and devoured mankind. And they began to sin against birds
- 8:09Speaker 1: and beasts, and reptiles and fish, and to devour one
- 8:13Speaker 1: another's flesh and drink the blood. Then the earth laid
- 8:17Speaker 1: accusation against the lawless ones Chapter eight. And Azazel taught
- 8:23Speaker 1: men to make swords and knives, and shields and breastplates,
- 8:26Speaker 1: and made known to them the metals of the earth
- 8:29Speaker 1: and the art of working them, and bracelets and ornaments,
- 8:33Speaker 1: and the use of antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids,
- 8:37Speaker 1: and all kinds of costly stones, and all coloring tinctures.
- 8:42Speaker 1: And there arose much godlessness and the committed fornication, and
- 8:46Speaker 1: they were led astray and became corrupt in all their ways.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Some Jasa taught enchantments and root cuttings, Amarus the resolving
- 8:54Speaker 1: of enchantments. Baroque Hall taught astrology, Cocabal, the constellations, Isakael,
- 9:02Speaker 1: the knowledge of the clouds, Araquail, the signs of the Earth,
- 9:07Speaker 1: sham Seal, the signs of the Sun, and Suriel the
- 9:10Speaker 1: course of the Moon. And as men perished, they cried,
- 9:14Speaker 1: and their cry went up to heaven Chapter nine. And
- 9:18Speaker 1: then Michael, Uriel, Raphael, and Gabriel looked down from heaven
- 9:23Speaker 1: and saw much blood being shed upon the earth, and
- 9:25Speaker 1: all the lawlessness being brought upon the earth. And they said,
- 9:29Speaker 1: one to another, the earth made without inhabitant cries. The
- 9:33Speaker 1: voice of their crying up to the gates of Heaven.
- 9:36Speaker 1: And now to you, the holy ones of Heaven, the
- 9:39Speaker 1: souls of men make their suit, saying, bring our cause
- 9:42Speaker 1: before the Most High. And they said to the Lord
- 9:46Speaker 1: of the Ages, Lord of Lords, God of God's, King
- 9:49Speaker 1: of Kings, and God of the Ages, the throne of
- 9:51Speaker 1: thy glory standeth unto all the generations of the ages,
- 9:55Speaker 1: and thy name holy and glorious and blessed unto all
- 9:59Speaker 1: the ages. Thou hast made all things and power over
- 10:02Speaker 1: all things. Hast thou, and all things are naked and
- 10:06Speaker 1: open in thy sight. And thou seest all things, and
- 10:10Speaker 1: nothing can hide itself from thee Thou seest what Azazel
- 10:14Speaker 1: hath done, who hath taught all unrighteousness on earth, and
- 10:19Speaker 1: revealed the eternal secrets which were preserved in heaven, which
- 10:23Speaker 1: men were striving to learn, and some Jazah, to whom
- 10:27Speaker 1: thou hast given authority to bear rule over his associates.
- 10:31Speaker 1: And they have gone to the daughters of men upon
- 10:33Speaker 1: the earth, and have slept with the women, and have
- 10:35Speaker 1: defiled themselves and revealed to them all kinds of sins,
- 10:39Speaker 1: and the women have borne giants. And the whole earth
- 10:42Speaker 1: has thereby been filled with blood and unrighteousness. And now behold,
- 10:48Speaker 1: the souls of those who have died are crying and
- 10:50Speaker 1: making their suit to the gates of heaven. And their
- 10:52Speaker 1: lamentations have ascended and cannot cease because of the lawless
- 10:57Speaker 1: deeds which are wrought on the earth. And Thou knowest
- 11:01Speaker 1: all things before they come to pass, and thou seest
- 11:04Speaker 1: these things, and thou dost suffer them, and thou dost
- 11:08Speaker 1: not say to us what we are to do to
- 11:10Speaker 1: them in regard to these. Chapter ten, Then said the
- 11:15Speaker 1: Most High, the Holy and Great One, spake, and Saint
- 11:18Speaker 1: Uriel to the son of Lamak, and said to him,
- 11:21Speaker 1: go to Noah and tell him in my name, hide thyself,
- 11:25Speaker 1: and reveal to him the end that is approaching, that
- 11:28Speaker 1: the whole earth will be destroyed, and a deluge is
- 11:31Speaker 1: about to come upon the whole earth and will destroy
- 11:34Speaker 1: all that is on it. And now instruct him that
- 11:37Speaker 1: he may escape, and his seed may be preserved for
- 11:40Speaker 1: all the generations of the world. And again the Lord
- 11:43Speaker 1: said to Raphael, bind Azazel hand and foot, and cast
- 11:48Speaker 1: him into the darkness, and make an opening in the
- 11:50Speaker 1: desert which is in Dudayel, and cast him therein, and
- 11:55Speaker 1: place upon him rough and jagged rocks, and cover him
- 11:58Speaker 1: with darkness, and let it abide there forever, and cover
- 12:02Speaker 1: his face that he may not see light. And on
- 12:05Speaker 1: the day of the Great Judgment, he shall be cast
- 12:07Speaker 1: into the fire and heal the earth which the angels
- 12:10Speaker 1: have corrupted. And proclaim the healing of the earth, that
- 12:14Speaker 1: they may heal the plague and that all the children
- 12:17Speaker 1: of men may not perish through all the secret things
- 12:20Speaker 1: that the watchers have disclosed and have taught their sons.
- 12:24Speaker 1: And the whole earth has been corrupted through the works
- 12:26Speaker 1: that were taught by Asizel to him ascribe all sin.
- 12:30Speaker 1: And to Gabriel said the Lord proceed against the bastards
- 12:34Speaker 1: and the reprobates, and against the children of fornication, And
- 12:37Speaker 1: destroy the children of fornication and the children of the
- 12:41Speaker 1: watchers from amongst men, and cause them to go forth.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Send them one against the other, that they may destroy
- 12:48Speaker 1: each other in battle for length of days. Shall they
- 12:51Speaker 1: not have. And no request that they I either fathers
- 12:55Speaker 1: make of these shall be granted unto their fathers on
- 12:58Speaker 1: their behalf, for they hope to live in eternal life,
- 13:01Speaker 1: and that each one of them will live five hundred years.
- 13:04Speaker 1: And the Lord's Senate, Sir Michael, go bind some Jaza
- 13:08Speaker 1: and his associates who have united themselves with women, so
- 13:12Speaker 1: as to have defiled themselves with them in all their uncleanness.
- 13:16Speaker 1: And when their sons have slain one another, and they
- 13:18Speaker 1: have seen the destruction of their beloved ones, bind them
- 13:21Speaker 1: fast for seventy generations in the valleys of the earth,
- 13:25Speaker 1: till the day of their judgment and of their consummation,
- 13:28Speaker 1: till the judgment that is forever and ever is consummated.
- 13:32Speaker 1: In those days they shall be led off to the
- 13:34Speaker 1: abyss of fire, and to the torment and the prison
- 13:37Speaker 1: in which they shall be confined forever. And whosoever shall
- 13:41Speaker 1: be condemned and destroyed, will from thenceforth be bound together
- 13:45Speaker 1: with them to the end of all generations. And destroy
- 13:49Speaker 1: all the spirits of the reprobate and the children of
- 13:51Speaker 1: the watchers, because they have wronged mankind. Destroy all wrong
- 13:56Speaker 1: from the face of the earth. And let every evil
- 13:58Speaker 1: work come to an end. And let the plant of
- 14:01Speaker 1: righteousness and truth appear, and it shall prove a blessing.
- 14:05Speaker 1: The works of righteousness and truth shall be planted in
- 14:08Speaker 1: truth and joy forevermore. And then shall all the righteous escape,
- 14:12Speaker 1: and shall live till they beget thousands of children, and
- 14:16Speaker 1: all the days of their youth and their old age
- 14:18Speaker 1: shall they complete in peace. And then shall the whole
- 14:22Speaker 1: earth be tilled in righteousness, and shall all be planted
- 14:26Speaker 1: with trees and be full of blessing. And all desirable
- 14:30Speaker 1: trees shall be planted on it, and they shall plant
- 14:33Speaker 1: vines on it, and the vine which they plant thereon
- 14:36Speaker 1: shall yield wine in abundance. And as for all the
- 14:39Speaker 1: seed which is sown thereon, each measure of it shall
- 14:42Speaker 1: bear a thousand and each measure of olives shall yield
- 14:47Speaker 1: ten presses of oil, and cleanse thou the earth from
- 14:50Speaker 1: all oppression, and from all unrighteousness, and from all sin,
- 14:54Speaker 1: and from all godlessness, and all the uncleanness that is
- 14:57Speaker 1: wrought upon the earth. Destroy from all fa the earth,
- 15:01Speaker 1: and all the children of men shall become righteous, And
- 15:03Speaker 1: all nations shall offer adoration and shall praise me, and
- 15:08Speaker 1: all shall worship me. And the earth shall be cleansed
- 15:11Speaker 1: from all defilement, and from all sin, and from all punishment,
- 15:15Speaker 1: and from all torment. And I will never again send
- 15:18Speaker 1: them upon it, from generation to generation and forever Chapter eleven.
- 15:24Speaker 1: And in those days I will open the store chambers
- 15:27Speaker 1: of blessing which are in the heaven, so as to
- 15:30Speaker 1: send them down upon the earth over the work and
- 15:32Speaker 1: labor of the children of men. And truth and peace
- 15:36Speaker 1: shall be associated together throughout all the days of the world,
- 15:40Speaker 1: and throughout all the generations of men. And of Section
- 15:45Speaker 1: two
