Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Two teas in a pod which Teddy Mellencamp and camera judge.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Hi, guys, welcome to another episode of TWATS Flashback with
- 0:19Speaker 2: Teddy Melloncamp, Camra Judge, Tam, I have a question for
- 0:23Speaker 2: you before we even get into episode five and six,
- 0:28Speaker 2: I would say the majority of this episode was wildron Well,
- 0:33Speaker 2: children are watching VICKI try to house of dog train
- 0:37Speaker 2: her freaking dog.
- 0:39Speaker 3: I know, it wasn't exciting. I mean, the show should
- 0:41Speaker 3: have been called The Real Kids of Orange County. And honestly,
- 0:45Speaker 3: around season three there was talk, because there were so
- 0:48Speaker 3: many young teenagers on the show, there was talk about
- 0:52Speaker 3: doing the Real Kids of Orange County like it was
- 0:54Speaker 3: legit about to happen, and then it fell through.
- 0:57Speaker 2: And I know, we're just I don't even remember which
- 0:59Speaker 2: episode this was in, but I was shocked to see
- 1:03Speaker 2: that they could film or that they would film underage
- 1:08Speaker 2: kids drinking.
- 1:09Speaker 3: I know, well, I mean the amount of slurs that
- 1:12Speaker 3: were in these two episodes, Like, I am actually shocked
- 1:15Speaker 3: that PROB doesn't go back and clean them up because
- 1:18Speaker 3: they're bad.
- 1:19Speaker 2: It's I mean, I know it's a different time, but
- 1:22Speaker 2: the stuff that they're saying, you're like holy crap, Like
- 1:26Speaker 2: it's just either way. The air date was February thirteenth,
- 1:30Speaker 2: two thousand and seven. Stranger in Your House is the
- 1:33Speaker 2: first episode, which is episode five. Synopsis. Slade is very
- 1:38Speaker 2: generous to Joe on her birthday. LORII and George take
- 1:41Speaker 2: the family to Hawaii, and Shane invites a girl he
- 1:44Speaker 2: met on the internet to stay at the house for
- 1:46Speaker 2: a few days. That's not crazy, okay, so Shane says.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Gina wants him to marry this Canadian girl, Lindsey, that
- 1:55Speaker 2: he met online. She was missed Ontario South. Shane shares
- 1:59Speaker 2: that she can't normal food. Gina thinks it's bizarre that
- 2:02Speaker 2: she can't eat. Okay, she can't eat because she just
- 2:06Speaker 2: got her tonsils and adnoids.
- 2:08Speaker 3: I had her for a week, but I'm pretty sure
- 2:10Speaker 3: after a week you can start eating food like mashed
- 2:13Speaker 3: potatoes or whatever. Like I mean, it's just weird. She's neat.
- 2:17Speaker 2: She only just drinks smoothies.
- 2:19Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm not buying that one.
- 2:21Speaker 2: But also the entire thing was so uncomfortable, even her arriving.
- 2:28Speaker 2: I don't know that I would just be like, come
- 2:30Speaker 2: on into our house, and that's what.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Gina was though with everything with her kids, like oh
- 2:35Speaker 3: sure do that do that?
- 2:36Speaker 2: I'm like, what? Well? It really helped Shane because Shamee
- 2:40Speaker 2: is a real dream boat. This both episodes like I
- 2:43Speaker 2: nudge an asshole, like if I was that girl, I'd
- 2:46Speaker 2: rather zip on back to the pageant world in Canada
- 2:50Speaker 2: and get the f out of it. He's think, why do.
- 2:52Speaker 3: You think that she was there? Do you think that
- 2:54Speaker 3: she saw the show reached out to him and thought, oh,
- 2:57Speaker 3: my pageant girl on may try to get on TV.
- 3:00Speaker 2: I think she probably thought he was handsome. On the
- 3:02Speaker 2: first season, he wasn't quite as douche lordy. I mean
- 3:05Speaker 2: you could tell he was a douche lord, but not
- 3:07Speaker 2: like to this capacity. And I think they probably just
- 3:10Speaker 2: started like messaging on my Space or friends.
- 3:13Speaker 3: I know, no, it was my Space that I remember
- 3:15Speaker 3: them saying that I'm like my Space.
- 3:18Speaker 2: But I really it's a lot, It's a lot. I
- 3:24Speaker 2: also forget the time, even though we all had it
- 3:27Speaker 2: where like we all would like do our hair like
- 3:29Speaker 2: this because and then like poof it way up.
- 3:32Speaker 3: And but that was that was I think late eighties.
- 3:36Speaker 3: I don't think it was in the early nineties. I
- 3:39Speaker 3: mean this is in two thousand and seven and six.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I mean, I guess I didn't have extensions as a teenager,
- 3:45Speaker 2: so I don't really know.
- 3:47Speaker 3: But the pictures, do you have pictures of your hair
- 3:51Speaker 3: all teased up? Well?
- 3:52Speaker 2: I have the scared hair bangs.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Oh yeah, it's like they're plastered with Aquinette.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Oh yeah, well you will only perm your banks. And
- 4:01Speaker 2: then this part was straight, and then this far hot,
- 4:07Speaker 2: and to think I peaked in the eighth grade as
- 4:09Speaker 2: a real, real doozy. But then we go to Joe.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Have we seen Gavin before this episode?
- 4:15Speaker 3: I'm not sure he might. I don't know, I really
- 4:18Speaker 3: because all of.
- 4:19Speaker 2: A sudden, he's in the beginning credits. Joe and Gavin
- 4:22Speaker 2: love playing guitar together. This was a sweet moment until
- 4:26Speaker 2: Slade stepped in and made it no longer sweet. They're
- 4:29Speaker 2: working on songs for her demo. Joe has always dreamed
- 4:34Speaker 2: of being a singer. Joe has been telling Slade she
- 4:37Speaker 2: wants an acoustic guitar for her birthday, so they went
- 4:41Speaker 2: and picked out a guitar. Not acoustic, but I love that.
- 4:45Speaker 3: He said, well that's what you learn on I'm like,
- 4:48Speaker 3: you learn on an electric guitar. Isn't the opposite you
- 4:51Speaker 3: learn on an acoustic Maybe I'm wrong, but.
- 4:54Speaker 2: I don't know. I can say when Cruz, I mean,
- 4:57Speaker 2: Cruise has already quit his long journey of guitar lessons,
- 5:01Speaker 2: but they did. His was an electric like they brought
- 5:04Speaker 2: like an electric guitar. I don't know, but I think
- 5:09Speaker 2: you could. If that's the case, you could have led
- 5:11Speaker 2: with that like before, just surprising her to like step,
- 5:15Speaker 2: just get her.
- 5:15Speaker 3: What she wants. She has one accuse the guitar. Get
- 5:19Speaker 3: her what she wants instead of those borrowed diamonds that
- 5:21Speaker 3: he brought Barbara Parker into because Barbara Parker was there
- 5:26Speaker 3: lending us diamonds and jewelry in season three, so he
- 5:30Speaker 3: didn't buy her anything.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Well, if I was all barbed, I would be really
- 5:35Speaker 2: concerned with loaning her the diamonds as well. When I
- 5:38Speaker 2: saw them all about to push each other into the pool,
- 5:40Speaker 2: and that long I like, I've lost a fanny pack
- 5:43Speaker 2: when it was attached to my actual body, that long
- 5:47Speaker 2: necklace that like could fall over her head like I
- 5:50Speaker 2: was like, I wonder if those jewels made it home.
- 5:52Speaker 2: But it was all kind of a hot mess. The
- 5:56Speaker 2: entire birthday setup. But I'm also confused because last episode
- 6:01Speaker 2: didn't we see him saying you don't belong here?
- 6:04Speaker 3: I know, And then all of a sudden she's back
- 6:06Speaker 3: and there. It's so weird.
- 6:09Speaker 2: And he's planning ragers fort like, But isn't it pretty telling?
- 6:13Speaker 2: She's like, oh, it's my birthday, seal it, peace out,
- 6:15Speaker 2: thanks for the present, thanks for the borrowed jewels.
- 6:18Speaker 3: I'm going to LA and a party bus with my friends.
- 6:20Speaker 2: You're not invited.
- 6:21Speaker 3: And then to see him at a restaurant with I swear.
- 6:25Speaker 3: That girl that's sitting next to him, she talks familiar
- 6:28Speaker 3: to me, she looks familiar, and she comes up in
- 6:30Speaker 3: the season. I think she's somehow she comes up in
- 6:32Speaker 3: the season if I'm not mistaken, because I'm sure they
- 6:35Speaker 3: started panis right, Janie was, Yeah.
- 6:37Speaker 2: I'm sure they started like exchanging text mess like she
- 6:41Speaker 2: was hot. I'm sure he started reaching out to her.
- 6:45Speaker 2: I mean, I at this point, I've got it.
- 6:46Speaker 3: I mean every time he smiles with his teeth, it
- 6:49Speaker 3: just gives me the creeps.
- 6:50Speaker 2: I don't even know. I can't even I don't even
- 6:52Speaker 2: look that closely, but I do think at this point
- 6:55Speaker 2: they're not even together. They're just fu Oh, they're just her.
- 7:00Speaker 2: They're coming and giving us a show.
- 7:02Speaker 3: But all, well, that's the problem. It looks like they're acting.
- 7:05Speaker 3: It gives you know, Spencer and Heidi vibes like thousand percent.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Yeah, it's but those two are actually still together and
- 7:14Speaker 2: a couple.
- 7:15Speaker 3: Yeah, but you remember on the Hills in the early
- 7:17Speaker 3: days how they like they were acting, and I feel
- 7:20Speaker 3: like that's exactly what it looks like. And you know,
- 7:22Speaker 3: it's short, short term because I don't believe she's on
- 7:27Speaker 3: next season, but he is with the Gretchen. I don't remember, no, no,
- 7:34Speaker 3: I think that maybe poorl Slade had to Oh she's
- 7:38Speaker 3: on a bit next season, but I think he had
- 7:41Speaker 3: to take some time off until he reeled in another housewife.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Well, I bet she's probably moved to La. Who knows.
- 7:50Speaker 2: But then Vicky and Brianna talk about her plans after graduation.
- 7:54Speaker 2: Brianna wants more time for herself after watching her mom
- 7:58Speaker 2: work so much. Vicky says, Brianna clueless about how much
- 8:01Speaker 2: you have to get the things that they have.
- 8:04Speaker 3: I don't think Brian is clueless. I think Brianna is smart.
- 8:08Speaker 3: She's a very smart girl and she's not trying to
- 8:11Speaker 3: live without her beyond her means and try to keep
- 8:14Speaker 3: up with the joneses. I mean, that's why she lives
- 8:15Speaker 3: in Oklahoma on a farm, you know, has her four kids.
- 8:19Speaker 3: She's not She's a nurse. She's not concerned with being
- 8:23Speaker 3: the riches and having botox and getting my boobs done
- 8:26Speaker 3: and all that stuff. Yeah, like us.
- 8:29Speaker 2: I'm like, you mean me, Yeah, I know.
- 8:32Speaker 3: I look down today and I'm like, should I get
- 8:35Speaker 3: some boobs? I need some filler?
- 8:37Speaker 2: And Eddie goes no, Well, today at yoga, I was
- 8:41Speaker 2: looking at mine too, and mine, even though they're fake,
- 8:44Speaker 2: all of a sudden, they're a lot smaller.
- 8:45Speaker 3: And are thinner, and I'm like what, I don't.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Even see them. They're like just too little. I'm like,
- 8:52Speaker 2: good thing. But even when I go to get these replaced,
- 8:55Speaker 2: I guess in another year when I'm supposed to, I'm
- 8:57Speaker 2: not going to get bigger. I don't want bigger. I
- 8:59Speaker 2: want what is the same, big old titties. But they
- 9:02Speaker 2: don't say big old titties. They say like, shit, help me, Tam,
- 9:06Speaker 2: look at tig old bitties.
- 9:12Speaker 3: Bitties.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Oh my god, I've never even heard that before.
- 9:16Speaker 3: No, No, mine are like in between, like they're not flat,
- 9:21Speaker 3: but they're not big, so I feel like they're I'm like,
- 9:24Speaker 3: do one or the other?
- 9:25Speaker 2: Come on, you can do I have to wear a bra?
- 9:27Speaker 3: No, yep, you neither.
- 9:30Speaker 2: I had a lift.
- 9:31Speaker 3: They're nice and tight, nice and tight.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Then Tammy goes art shopping and Laguna Beach with Duff.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Tammy explains the relationship and says they aren't currently together.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Tammy said she started dating another guy a week ago
- 9:44Speaker 2: and he's really nice, but it's tough because her and
- 9:47Speaker 2: Duff have a son. Lindsay called Tammy and said she
- 9:50Speaker 2: hit someone. Tammy and Duff leave to go make sure
- 9:52Speaker 2: she's okay. It was a minor ding and they're glad
- 9:55Speaker 2: she's all right. Do you think Duff was like a
- 9:58Speaker 2: really nice guyer? Was he like the original John Janssen? No,
- 10:02Speaker 2: Duff was a nice guy.
- 10:03Speaker 3: He's a I I talked to him after he helped
- 10:08Speaker 3: me with my backyard. He got into like landscaping design,
- 10:13Speaker 3: so he was a little bit of a flirt.
- 10:15Speaker 2: I was also confused because they keep talking about how
- 10:19Speaker 2: Tammy's husband ran out of money, but now her daughter
- 10:25Speaker 2: has this brand new car.
- 10:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I think like he ran out of money, like
- 10:30Speaker 3: back in the day when they got divorced, he lost
- 10:32Speaker 3: his millions, but I don't think he was, by any
- 10:34Speaker 3: means broke.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Okay, and then lou and Lindsay go by. Lindsay a
- 10:40Speaker 2: new car. Lindsey gets a white BMW and Tammy says
- 10:45Speaker 2: Lindsay's car is nicer than hers. Tammy said she would
- 10:48Speaker 2: have gotten her a new car. I mean, all of
- 10:53Speaker 2: this is it's complete, I.
- 10:56Speaker 3: Know, but that's how the show was back then. There
- 10:58Speaker 3: was so much about the kid. It was all about
- 11:00Speaker 3: just youred life. I mean, in what world today would
- 11:04Speaker 3: Laurie be going on two vacations back to back without
- 11:07Speaker 3: any other cast member and camera there they went to Hawaii,
- 11:11Speaker 3: they went to where else did they go? It was
- 11:14Speaker 3: the Last Parents.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Oh they got engaged. Yeah, And was there a crew
- 11:19Speaker 2: on that boat or that sail boat when they were
- 11:22Speaker 2: like gonna crash brightening or I have to wonder if
- 11:27Speaker 2: maybe they just send one person with a camera.
- 11:30Speaker 3: I could have back then they would send one person
- 11:32Speaker 3: with a handheld.
- 11:34Speaker 2: I feel like maybe two, but I feel like that's
- 11:37Speaker 2: got to have been what it was. But then we
- 11:38Speaker 2: get to the barbecue, where Duff is there, and Tammy
- 11:44Speaker 2: said she doesn't feel comfortable. But I'm like, you were
- 11:46Speaker 2: just at lunch with Duff and then having this awkward
- 11:50Speaker 2: kissing hugging thing. Well, it made me.
- 11:52Speaker 3: Think like there must have been some time in between that,
- 11:55Speaker 3: like something obviously happened, or Tammy was going to bring
- 11:58Speaker 3: a boyfriend, or Tammy got because it did make any sense.
- 12:01Speaker 3: We saw them hugging in the art gallery and all
- 12:03Speaker 3: of a sudden, get him out, Gina, get him out.
- 12:05Speaker 3: I cannot be in the same room with him.
- 12:07Speaker 2: And then she like strolls in with their son. I'm like,
- 12:10Speaker 2: something's off.
- 12:12Speaker 3: But now you know what was off Shane Kiyoh, Yes,
- 12:16Speaker 3: would he say something about tits or something?
- 12:19Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, he was so rude to her and he
- 12:21Speaker 2: kept saying, shut up, tits. But he was being kind
- 12:25Speaker 2: of rude to everyone. But also, if your son was
- 12:29Speaker 2: calling me tits, my son wouldn't or vice versa, like,
- 12:34Speaker 2: wouldn't my son would then no longer have a dinger
- 12:37Speaker 2: because I would have chopped it off.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Yeah, I would have yanked it off. Yeah, that's disrespectful,
- 12:42Speaker 3: And that's just that reflects on the parents obviously, because
- 12:45Speaker 3: there's no way in hell my kid would say something
- 12:47Speaker 3: like that without getting backhanded. They just wouldn't.
- 12:51Speaker 2: But it's this is what I also don't understand. Like
- 12:53Speaker 2: I think every person has an asshole side to them, clearly,
- 12:58Speaker 2: but Shane is an asshole to everyone across the board.
- 13:02Speaker 2: It doesn't matter if it's the girl he's from Canada,
- 13:06Speaker 2: if it's his sister, if it's his mom, if it's tits,
- 13:11Speaker 2: like he's on them.
- 13:12Speaker 3: I mean, you'll see Ryan come in and he's not like,
- 13:16Speaker 3: he's not disrespectful, like he's he's a little punk because
- 13:19Speaker 3: he's a like eighteen year old kid or nineteen at
- 13:21Speaker 3: the time.
- 13:22Speaker 2: But are you prepping me?
- 13:24Speaker 3: I'm just saying there's a difference. Just watch because he
- 13:27Speaker 3: is so disrespectful to his mother, to his dad, to
- 13:33Speaker 3: his siblings everything.
- 13:35Speaker 2: I think there's a difference between. Like my kids will
- 13:37Speaker 2: sometimes they'll be jerks because they they're like, mom, don't
- 13:40Speaker 2: filmness or whatever. If I'm like they have a school
- 13:43Speaker 2: project and I'm trying to like film it, they're like,
- 13:45Speaker 2: now it's embarrassing. So they'll kind of act out in
- 13:49Speaker 2: those moments. But Shane clearly wants to be on TV
- 13:55Speaker 2: and he's old enough now to make those type of decisions,
- 13:59Speaker 2: So I I don't know.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Yeah, he's just whatever. I'm sure he's grown up now, but.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Hopefully well then, Joe hopes she didn't hurt Slade's feelings
- 14:11Speaker 2: after having a girl's night on her birthday.
- 14:14Speaker 3: Joe, No, Joe, not at all. He's over there like
- 14:18Speaker 3: a little puppy.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Can I go?
- 14:20Speaker 3: Can I please go?
- 14:21Speaker 2: Were you going to go?
- 14:22Speaker 1: Oh?
- 14:22Speaker 2: I don't like any of the gifts I got. You
- 14:25Speaker 2: told me you didn't want those gifts. You like them.
- 14:28Speaker 3: We're gonna go to La. Okay, Well I'm gonna go
- 14:30Speaker 3: to La too, but I'm gonna go with my friends,
- 14:31Speaker 3: and I'm gonna try to flirt with this girl because
- 14:33Speaker 3: you know what, I'm Carerot's gonna make me like a stud.
- 14:37Speaker 2: But do you think it also like Joe looks a
- 14:39Speaker 2: little ungrateful at this point, or do you think he's.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Jows Like, listen, Daddy Warbucks, thanks for the shit, But
- 14:45Speaker 3: I am not emotionally tied to you at all.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm done. The fact that she'd rather make out
- 14:52Speaker 2: with Shane than Slade is a bad state.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Well, you can just tell it just kind of looks
- 14:56Speaker 3: like it was a fake relationship. And then you know,
- 14:58Speaker 3: talking to her on the podcast, you know, months ago.
- 15:02Speaker 3: I want to believe if I'm remembering correctly, she said
- 15:06Speaker 3: that he was the love of her life.
- 15:08Speaker 2: She did, but she I think she said at the time,
- 15:12Speaker 2: she acted like she'd give two shits about him unless
- 15:15Speaker 2: they're acting for TV.
- 15:17Speaker 3: That's the thing that leads me to believe that this
- 15:19Speaker 3: is a total act, which doesn't surprise me because when
- 15:22Speaker 3: Gretchen and Slade come on to the show, every one
- 15:25Speaker 3: of their scenes are set up. They even talk about
- 15:27Speaker 3: in the one hundredth episode special, everything was set up.
- 15:31Speaker 3: Everything was an act. Oh you want, I'm going to
- 15:34Speaker 3: surprise you with a Rolls Royce. It was borrowed.
- 15:39Speaker 2: My guest is Slade wants to control every aspect of
- 15:42Speaker 2: any woman that he's with life, so he manufactures these
- 15:47Speaker 2: Fox scenes so that he can get that like, well,
- 15:50Speaker 2: he SoundBite, but really he just looks like an asshole.
- 15:53Speaker 3: I could always talk about how he's an actor.
- 15:56Speaker 2: Well, then they show the girls hitting the town and
- 15:58Speaker 2: the limos, Slade goes out with his friends. Slade is
- 16:03Speaker 2: tired of being responsible because he always is. Slade sat
- 16:06Speaker 2: next to Janice and said she's very cute and hot.
- 16:09Speaker 2: I feel like I need to take a shower from
- 16:11Speaker 2: just watching Slade or Joe, and he goes, they're so
- 16:14Speaker 2: over it.
- 16:16Speaker 3: You know, you do know that Slade says to this
- 16:18Speaker 3: day that Orange County Housewives was cast around him. He
- 16:25Speaker 3: was just on hot mic and he said that, you know,
- 16:27Speaker 3: the show was cast around me, And I think because
- 16:32Speaker 3: he knew Scott Dunlap, who created the show. So I'm like, dude,
- 16:35Speaker 3: it's not even about guys. It's about girls.
- 16:38Speaker 2: And the only guy. I mean, we haven't even talked
- 16:40Speaker 2: about another guy really other than I guess we will
- 16:43Speaker 2: this episode because George is doing all the things for
- 16:46Speaker 2: Laurie and is but he's doing it in a loving way,
- 16:49Speaker 2: like it doesn't know. It doesn't give me the dick
- 16:52Speaker 2: like the way Slade does. This next one is Studio
- 17:06Speaker 2: Jewelry and Babies, Season two, Episode six. Joe thinks about
- 17:11Speaker 2: making a career in entertainment. Laurie contemplates having her own business.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Tammy attempts to stop her daughter from having a party
- 17:18Speaker 2: at her house. Laurie and Duff are at the office.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Laurie says she would eventually like to get out of
- 17:24Speaker 2: the insurance business. Laurie says her and Duff just gossip
- 17:27Speaker 2: all day, and she told him about her wax. I
- 17:34Speaker 2: don't know about you, but I'm not sitting around talking
- 17:36Speaker 2: to my straight co workers about my wax. I know,
- 17:40Speaker 2: it's really weird.
- 17:41Speaker 3: Now Lourie working for Vicky comes up in season eight.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Laurie says She's never worked She never worked for Vicky,
- 17:47Speaker 3: never worked for Vicky, so it was all fake obviously
- 17:50Speaker 3: for the show. But Vicky says, I signed your paycheck,
- 17:53Speaker 3: but Laurie saying, nah, no, no, no, no, you didn't.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Well did Duff ever work for Vicky? Why is Duff everywhere?
- 18:00Speaker 3: Because not only I think his victory at the time
- 18:03Speaker 3: was trying to show how, you know, how big her
- 18:05Speaker 3: insurance company was.
- 18:08Speaker 2: Yeah, or I mean because Duff is intertwined with every
- 18:12Speaker 2: single one of the women. But we don't even see
- 18:14Speaker 2: all the women together, So I'm confused. I'm confused, I know.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Then Laurie met with Laura Li to talk about starting
- 18:22Speaker 2: their own jewelry business. Loved they even product placement. Even
- 18:25Speaker 2: back then, the jewelry business hasn't even started, and they
- 18:28Speaker 2: have their with the name on the front.
- 18:30Speaker 3: I was like Laura li is in the show quite
- 18:34Speaker 3: a bit and I've met her quite a few times.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Very sweet, very very sweet girl. I can tell you this.
- 18:39Speaker 2: I bet during that time, those necklaces would have gone
- 18:42Speaker 2: perfectly with the top from beabe or bb we would
- 18:47Speaker 2: just do that again. But no, I've never actually known
- 18:50Speaker 2: what it is is BB or bb bb bby.
- 18:56Speaker 3: I used to buy all my clothes bby. They weren't
- 18:58Speaker 3: cheap at the time either, And I think Bbe's still around,
- 19:01Speaker 3: but it's only online but everything, like not everything, but
- 19:04Speaker 3: I would say half their their products are have Bebe
- 19:07Speaker 3: written across it, which was a cool thing with little
- 19:10Speaker 3: rhyan stones on there.
- 19:11Speaker 2: But why did I say it the fancy way? Why
- 19:13Speaker 2: was that like Bebebebe?
- 19:16Speaker 3: I don't know, did you ever was it? You were
- 19:19Speaker 3: too young for bib?
- 19:20Speaker 2: No? I was Bebe was like I mean, I was
- 19:23Speaker 2: like bebe. Abercrombie and Fetch oh god remember those?
- 19:27Speaker 3: Like how was that store still in business?
- 19:30Speaker 2: Abercrombie? I don't know, especially you got to watch that
- 19:33Speaker 2: documentary that's like all about I mean, they rebranded.
- 19:36Speaker 3: But well they did now the one in Mission Bayjome
- 19:39Speaker 3: all they took the shutters off one window so you
- 19:41Speaker 3: can see in, but they're black. Shutters are still on
- 19:43Speaker 3: the other And the smell that pumps in the air
- 19:46Speaker 3: vents is not as strong as it used to be,
- 19:49Speaker 3: but it's still pretty bad.
- 19:50Speaker 2: You know, the smells at Disney as well.
- 19:53Speaker 3: I heard that.
- 19:54Speaker 2: It's crazy to me and I haven't been in an
- 19:58Speaker 2: Abercrombie store in quite some time.
- 20:00Speaker 3: I would not even step foot in there.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Well, sometimes you don't have a choice. It's like the
- 20:04Speaker 2: fact that I feel like I'm my kids always want
- 20:07Speaker 2: to go into Brandy Melville. Oh yeah, yeah, for some
- 20:11Speaker 2: overpriced sweatpants that will fit for two days, because then.
- 20:14Speaker 3: They well, you know, Brandy, they have one size fits all.
- 20:18Speaker 3: So it is ridiculous and I'm and they get a
- 20:20Speaker 3: lot of shit for it. But everything's one size fits all.
- 20:23Speaker 3: Which you ever picked up pair of their jeans?
- 20:25Speaker 2: No, I like this big Well, and they don't even care.
- 20:30Speaker 2: They're like, you know what, we're making money for this, Yeah,
- 20:32Speaker 2: we're not even We're not going to be a place
- 20:35Speaker 2: for everyone. We're going to be a place for a
- 20:37Speaker 2: couple of people. And I guess it does. It does
- 20:42Speaker 2: pretty well. This just in for my social media. Maer
- 20:47Speaker 2: does really well in lt K. Yeah, I love a
- 21:01Speaker 2: good statement necklace. I'm curious to see where this was.
- 21:03Speaker 3: I thought they were kind of cute for the time.
- 21:05Speaker 3: For the time we used to wear this big giant
- 21:07Speaker 3: I mean the two thousands. We were early two thousands,
- 21:12Speaker 3: the big jewelry. Everything was overly it was gattie and oh.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Well, then we go into the recording studio. Grammy Award
- 21:21Speaker 2: winning artists and producer and rapper Wan Ge go to
- 21:24Speaker 2: Joe's house to work on her music. They tell her
- 21:27Speaker 2: she has a great voice. Does Joe actually have a
- 21:32Speaker 2: single that has been released?
- 21:34Speaker 3: Well, I will tell you this. Early two thousand, her
- 21:39Speaker 3: and Lady Gaga and Cindy Lauper were openers at a
- 21:43Speaker 3: concert in New York.
- 21:46Speaker 2: Oh, she has a full album. We can add. We
- 21:49Speaker 2: can add Joe's one of Joe's songs to our Housewives
- 21:54Speaker 2: cover album that we're going to do.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Yeah, so they were at the House of Blues. I
- 21:58Speaker 3: don't know who they opened for, but yeah, she was
- 22:02Speaker 3: opener with Lady Gaga. Obviously Lydy Gaga took off.
- 22:06Speaker 2: I'm just seased to guess what the album name was.
- 22:08Speaker 2: I scripted oh shocker. But oci definitely started with like
- 22:18Speaker 2: housewives trope, singing career, jewelry line, thirsty men who want
- 22:22Speaker 2: to be housewives.
- 22:23Speaker 3: I mean they're coming in hot.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Then Lauria is surprised as she goes goes outside and
- 22:30Speaker 2: finds a brand new car from George. Vicky says she
- 22:33Speaker 2: is jealous of Laurie getting everything handed to her. When
- 22:38Speaker 2: is Vicky green eyed Gumbelson not jealous? Well, I will
- 22:42Speaker 2: tell you she was so insanely jealous. I think I
- 22:45Speaker 2: even heard about this in the third season about how
- 22:48Speaker 2: Lauria gets everything handed.
- 22:49Speaker 3: I don't know, that's just her nature. She's just a
- 22:52Speaker 3: very jealous person.
- 22:54Speaker 2: It's very weird to me, Like I if you got
- 22:57Speaker 2: if somebody gave you, whether you've always had to work
- 23:02Speaker 2: or not. I still don't have that like chip in
- 23:07Speaker 2: me where I'm like, okay, oh, that really infuriate.
- 23:10Speaker 3: She's not ever it just never happy for anybody else
- 23:13Speaker 3: instead of being yes, you know you went through shit,
- 23:15Speaker 3: you got divorced, you haven't pals your son. You met
- 23:17Speaker 3: a great guy, and he's like she met a douche.
- 23:19Speaker 3: She met a great guy and he's taking care of her,
- 23:22Speaker 3: like good for her, and she seems like a nice person,
- 23:25Speaker 3: and she's forty five years old. You know, they got married,
- 23:27Speaker 3: they're still married. But to just not be happy for
- 23:30Speaker 3: somebody is in Vicky's nature.
- 23:32Speaker 2: I think we all see that.
- 23:33Speaker 3: Well, the other.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Person that wasn't happy for Laurie was her daughter. Oh
- 23:37Speaker 2: my god, she really wanted that car herself or another one.
- 23:41Speaker 2: I'm like, poor George is like, what did I get
- 23:44Speaker 2: myself into? Kids don't act like that these days on Housewives.
- 23:48Speaker 2: They're they're more, they're better media trained, they're Kardashian trained.
- 23:55Speaker 2: But then we get Tammy leaves her Catalina for the
- 23:59Speaker 2: weekend and locks Lindsay out of the house so she
- 24:02Speaker 2: doesn't do anything. Lindsay plans to have a party at
- 24:05Speaker 2: her mom's house and says she's going to find her
- 24:07Speaker 2: way in. She has lots of people over and hopes
- 24:09Speaker 2: Megan doesn't say anything to her mom.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Where does Lindsay live if she doesn't live with Tammy?
- 24:13Speaker 3: She's only eighteen?
- 24:15Speaker 2: Oh I heard this part. I thought the same thing,
- 24:17Speaker 2: so I went and rewound it. She was supposed to
- 24:20Speaker 2: be staying with her dad.
- 24:21Speaker 3: Wow, oh gotcha, gotcha?
- 24:24Speaker 2: But then apparently she didn't, so.
- 24:27Speaker 3: She crawled through the doggie door to get She was
- 24:31Speaker 3: a very small door. I know she's a very small girl.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Lindsay's very tiny and had a party. I mean it
- 24:39Speaker 3: was going to be filmed.
- 24:40Speaker 2: I also want to know who cleaned up that party,
- 24:42Speaker 2: because I don't believe it was Lindsay. No, I really
- 24:47Speaker 2: I don't believe it.
- 24:49Speaker 3: I never had a secret party when my parents were
- 24:51Speaker 3: not home. I didn't party, though I was.
- 24:54Speaker 2: I mean I partied, but we partied in fields like
- 24:56Speaker 2: the rest of the people in South Carolina. We would
- 24:58Speaker 2: go out to like a random I never drank some
- 25:02Speaker 2: designated driver.
- 25:04Speaker 3: I was thinking, like, ahad, my kids don't drink, and
- 25:06Speaker 3: I'm like either, Hi, I didn't either, like all of
- 25:08Speaker 3: high school. I I drank one time at a neighbor's
- 25:10Speaker 3: house in high school and I bar so bad that
- 25:13Speaker 3: I never drank again.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Oh look at you.
- 25:16Speaker 3: But I ended up pregnant at seventeen. But I didn't droberly.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I did it soberly. What about when car goes
- 25:24Speaker 2: wine was for women? I was like, I can't. This
- 25:31Speaker 2: part was actually very hard for me. When Joe heads
- 25:34Speaker 2: to the studio to record her song for the first time,
- 25:37Speaker 2: and she's late, which you know how I feel about
- 25:39Speaker 2: being late. But then at least I really hope it
- 25:44Speaker 2: was the editing, because at least twenty five times she said,
- 25:46Speaker 2: if Slade just got here with my Starbucks, I would
- 25:49Speaker 2: be better. I know, the.
- 25:51Speaker 3: Whole thing was a little Well you'll see when Gretchen
- 25:56Speaker 3: comes in, Slade tries to get her a singing career
- 25:59Speaker 3: as well.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Well, she has a single I checked. Oh god, she
- 26:03Speaker 2: does know who we forgot. I mean, we've got to
- 26:08Speaker 2: do a full thing. We're going in the studio. We'll
- 26:10Speaker 2: see if the same guys will have us in. But
- 26:16Speaker 2: we also forgot that we could do Yolanda song the airplane.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 26:25Speaker 3: Yeah, Well, huh, that's all we got, folks.
- 26:28Speaker 4: That's all we got here for another fast forward to
- 26:31Speaker 4: season three when the Tamster gets there. Oh Tamster Tamster
- 26:37Speaker 4: and the Simona sim Yeah, that's gonna be a real chore.
- 26:42Speaker 3: My tan skin and bleach blood, broken hair, yeah.
- 26:45Speaker 2: And Lauri's jewelry and a baby slash baby top yep,
- 26:50Speaker 2: and big old take old biddies take, Old biddies can't wait.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Big old motherly giant jugs giant free Jesus jugs
- 27:09Speaker 2: MHM
