SPEAKER_00: They all today is Thursday, December the 11th, the year 2025.
• 0:10
SPEAKER_00: And I got just three minutes to get you in it.
• 0:13
SPEAKER_00: To Ann Order, Michigan, we go for a very disappointing show.
• 0:18
  SPEAKER_00: Check this.
• 0:18
SPEAKER_00: Sharon Moore, the first black head coach to lead the Michigan Wolverine's football program, was fired and jailed on the same day.
• 0:27
SPEAKER_00: Wow, I never thought the consequences for losing to the Buckeyes would ever get this bad.
• 0:33
SPEAKER_00: Oh, I'm bad, I'm bad, my bad.
• 0:35
SPEAKER_00: Oh, but keeping it real, Moore was fired for having an inappropriate relationship with a staff member.
• 0:41
SPEAKER_00: He has been the head coach there for about three years.
• 0:44
SPEAKER_00: The record, 18 wins and eight losses.
• 0:47
SPEAKER_00: And now he is receiving mental health care.
• 0:51
SPEAKER_00: Well, who would have thought?
• 0:53
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, I didn't see that coming.
• 0:54
  SPEAKER_00: No doubt about it.
• 0:56
SPEAKER_00: But I will say this the Michigan Wolverines football program now has a job open.
• 1:01
SPEAKER_00: Oh, huh! The head coaching position is open at the University of Michigan.
• 1:06
SPEAKER_00: Now check this at Notre Dame, the home of the Fighting Irish.
• 1:10
SPEAKER_00: Oh, they sent out a notice that the Notre Dame Fighting Irish would not be playing in a bowl game.
• 1:16
  SPEAKER_00: Why?
• 1:16
SPEAKER_00: Because they were not selected to play in the college football playoffs.
• 1:21
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, huh?
• 1:22
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, now check this.
• 1:23
SPEAKER_00: The college football playoffs consists of 12 teams based on conference wins and conference championship winners and whatever else it took to get in it.
• 1:35
SPEAKER_00: In my opinion, oh, they wanted Notre Dame in it.
• 1:38
  SPEAKER_00: No doubt about it.
• 1:39
SPEAKER_00: But I gotta say this, I don't know why they didn't get in it.
• 1:43
SPEAKER_00: Now check this, the athletic director and the staff at Notre Dame.
• 1:47
SPEAKER_00: Oh, they felt they didn't get a fair say, so they opted not to play in any bowl game.
• 1:53
SPEAKER_00: Who does that hurt the most?
• 1:54
SPEAKER_00: All the players! And we the college football fans! And let me add this about the Notre Dame college football team.
• 2:03
SPEAKER_00: In case you didn't know, Notre Dame, the Fighting Irish, do not play in a college football conference.
• 2:09
SPEAKER_00: In basketball, they are a member of the ACC.
• 2:12
SPEAKER_00: But in college football, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are not a member of any conference.
• 2:18
SPEAKER_00: But let me put it like this: if Notre Dame were a member of the ACC, in my opinion, they would have won that conference and received an automatic bid to the college football playoffs.
• 2:29
SPEAKER_00: But anyway, it's wrong for Notre Dame not to honor their team for a great season with playing in a bowl game and all the perks that go along with it.
• 2:38
SPEAKER_00: Notre Dame is not doing the right thing by holding their players out of a bowl game.
• 2:44
SPEAKER_00: It's wrong and disrespectful to the players, the fans, and the university as a whole.
• 2:50
SPEAKER_00: What do they hope to accomplish by doing this?
