- 0:03[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to The Offices, a show covering the mighty Gulf, the NFL, pop culture, drinking culture and of course.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_01]: I show it now.
- 0:14[SPEAKER_01]: You're your host, Alphar T.A.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_01]: In myself.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_00]: And we're on.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_00]: This is The Offices of Myself and Marit Brave.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_00]: Marit Hawari.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_01]: I'm doing well, Alf just got home from work.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_01]: I messaged you off air, got a little concussion at work today.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_01]: So if I sound particularly loopy to our audience listening in right now, that would be the reason why, but I'm all good.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a tough guy.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_01]: So here I am to record this program with you.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, how many concussions do you think you've had?
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: I would imagine going on 23 years of professional wrestling that an estimate would be probably 60 plus, 60, 65, 70 maybe, like what people don't understand is you don't have to hit your head to get a concussion, you just have to have
- 1:08[SPEAKER_01]: a quick fall and a sudden stop, which if you've ever watched Professor Wrestling before, you know happens multiple times every single match.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, even 60 to 65 is probably a light estimate, but it's what we sign up for.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I had a lot of them when I played football in high school and I just didn't know that there were concussions because they would just tell you, what's wrong with you?
- 1:35[SPEAKER_00]: Would you please get back in there already?
- 1:36[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, all right, I'm good.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_00]: And I later learned that every time that you see stars, like that's a concussion.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_00]: Every time that your eyes go black and they come back in like three seconds or four seconds, those are concussions.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_00]: That means that something I disconnected in your brain.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, I'm at the point now where and people who've had plenty of concussions will be the only one only only people who who understand what I'm saying right now, but you can taste when you get a concussion.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_01]: Have you had that out for you?
- 2:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, you can taste it in your mouth.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: You're like, oh, yeah, that's the concussion.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I got it.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_00]: And the weirdest one I ever got was not a was not contact to the head and my head did not hit the ground or or anything.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_00]: But I remember it was I carried the ball and I was going outside and this guy just it was the hardest I've ever been hit like he just had a good angle on me and it wasn't like he blew me up or anything I was just a really good strong tackle like like you one of those that you just feel like man that hurt you know and I remember he hit me with like helmet to the ribs
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: And I go to the ground and the first thing that that that I think about when I'm trying to get up is, oh, he knocked the air out of me.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_00]: I got to get the hell out of here.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't want to lay on the ground because I never like to do that.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: So I get up and I can feel like my legs are a little wobbly and I'm like, fuck this if I jog maybe I could just jog toward the cell and I could collapse on the sideline, you know.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what he can see me.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_00]: So I just jog the salad and I'm fine and I'm standing around and My position coach looks at me goes was wrong and I go no, he knocked the air out of me and the next thing I know my head is boozy and I feel like if I'm drunk And I'm like fuck and I'm like how did I hit my head and I remember I saw it on film later on and I was like No, I didn't hit my head at all like
- 3:44[SPEAKER_00]: And I just said, you know, I got to go to the fucking, I got to go to the bathroom and I got to throw up and I'm like, I'm not going to go to that garbage can and I remember I I told my coach, I got to go to the the locker room, I got to fix my my cleat and I'm like, and he was like, all right, but get back here and have a coach go with you and I got a coach to come with me and I just jog into a locker room and the first, I almost did it make it the first garbage can I saw, I just put my guts out.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_00]: And the coach was like, what's wrong with you?
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: Did he hit you that hard?
- 4:18[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just dinged.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: I return later though.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_00]: I missed like three plays.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we're on the older side for the younger people out there.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_01]: They think it concussions the the biggest deal in the world.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't want to downplay it and and everything like that.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_01]: You know, modern medical advances are telling us that it's awful.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_01]: But back in our day, man, it was like, all right, how many fingers am I holding up?
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: Get back in there.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: They didn't care about that shit.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, back and back then they did not have helmet regulations.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_00]: Like they do now like now they test your helmet every single season.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_00]: And if it's degraded any bit, they just say, well, you need any helmet.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_00]: Back then, it was like, it doesn't look broken.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: Those were the errors when they had us drinking out of PVC pipes that had holes drilled in them.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: I remember all of those things.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember one time I really hurt my knee.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_00]: And this was painful.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_00]: And it turned out I didn't have an MCLT out tear.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember the coaches are looking at what's wrong with you.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_00]: When you please get back in there.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, get back in there.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_00]: I'm in pain.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_00]: My knee doesn't work.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_00]: And they're like, your AC is now ACL is not torn.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, well, that's nice.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_00]: But there's something else in there, all right?
- 5:35[SPEAKER_00]: That's probably pretty fucked up.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_00]: And sure enough, they said, all right, he's done, it's taken to the clinic.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_00]: I go to the clinic.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_00]: And they do a bunch of tests and they go, your MCL's torn.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: All right, well, that's nice.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_00]: Can you tell my fucking position coach that my MCL is torn?
- 5:52[SPEAKER_00]: Because he thought I was just a pussy sitting on the bench?
- 5:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: I have changed times have changed.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_00]: I'll never forget that.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_00]: The look of disappointment on his face, as I told him, my knee hurts.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, he's looking at me like, what's wrong with you?
- 6:10[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, what's wrong with me is that I don't think I can walk.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that was painful.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_00]: I've had a lot of dislocated shoulders and to be honest with you is just like the first two and then I never had surgeries though.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: They just go in and out every once in a while.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_00]: It hasn't been a while.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's been like, I remember a year ago, about two years ago, two years ago.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: I woke up with some extreme pain and I was like, what in the fuck?
- 6:37[SPEAKER_00]: And I guess it was that I slept wrong.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_00]: And then last year at training camp, one night before going to training camp,
- 6:45[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I remember I was working out and I was doing, you know, those lunches that you do with the kettlebell where you're essentially like, um, you're not plank, but you're like, like doing, um, like a, like a push up, but you bring up the kettlebell.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_00]: And you lay it down and you bring up the other one.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm reclearly I'm doing this exercise and I remember that I go like this, I lay it down like there's something going on.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I was finished my workouts with a five, five mile brisk walk, you know, where I jog on and off.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_00]: And I remember that I'm walking, I'm like, oh my God, I'm in pain.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, and I come back.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_00]: And since I'm older, I'm not one of these people, I don't, I don't just toughen out anymore.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, yeah, we gotta go somewhere.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we go to urgent care, the guys like, you shoulders just okay.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, oh, Jesus, and he goes, you want to go to the hospital to have it set.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, no, I just said it here.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_00]: Like, like, just take care of it.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I've done it before.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_00]: And he's like, you sure?
- 7:49[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, yeah, I've done it before.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_00]: And I wrote it that he said, and he was a more pain than I was.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, yeah, I'm fine, you know.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: And my shoulder was useless for like three weeks, you know.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, enough of our injuries.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_00]: I've even watched in the World Cup.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_01]: I've been keeping up with results haven't been haven't really had time to watch individual games.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_01]: I do plan on watching some, you're not all of them.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not the biggest soccer guy in the world, you know, I do have some international students in my class right now that are all about it, so they keep me informed of the results at least, but from what I've been
- 8:35[SPEAKER_01]: a pretty kick ass tournament so far.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_01]: England just got a penalty kick and it got stopped.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_01]: So it's remain zero zero somewhere.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_00]: Simon is in the tenth in the tenth minute.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_00]: So Timio say I'm Friday like that was a lot of fun.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_00]: You saw that, right?
- 8:57[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't we actually had an event I put it on a wrestling show on Friday night, so we were keeping up with with the score.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_01]: I saw we won four to one that's a that's a good result for the old USA, but I didn't get to watch that game unfortunately.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah Friday they got Australia a three PM and they have to know and they're in Seattle.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_00]: That place is going to be nuts.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_01]: Seattle's kind of a soccer town, right?
- 9:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yes it is.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_01]: A quality MLS team.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's the sounders and, you know, speaking of quality MLS team, my amazone, you know, I must say, how to track yesterday.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_00]: So he's the ageless, ageless wonder, but yeah, I'm Friday.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_00]: That's going to be a lot of fun in Seattle, Lumen stadium.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, they're calling it Seattle stadium.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: They took all the sponsors of all those stadiums.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: This FIFA has to keep their money.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: So that place is going to be absolutely bonkers.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_00]: at 3 p.m. on Friday.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_00]: So I can't wait for that.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_00]: I can't wait for that for that match.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_00]: That's going to be a lot a lot of fun.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to tune into that one when I get an opportunity.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_01]: I got a pretty busy Friday.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_01]: But that's right around the time where my schedule slows down a little bit.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_01]: So I'll catch a little bit of that game.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_00]: All right, we're going to go to break and we come back.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to talk a little, you'll see a little combat sports production, all that stuff.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_00]: We might even have a difference of opinion, but first, these words, all right, we're back.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_00]: You have see freedom 250.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'll just go out and say it.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_00]: I've been watching combat sports for a thousand years.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, and I consider, I do consider the WWE combat sports, wrestling professional wrestling when it's done right.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_00]: I do consider it combat sports.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_00]: Now, it's performative, but it is combat sports like you are entering yourself.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_00]: Hopefully you're not, but in the long run, you probably are.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_00]: One of the greatest,
- 10:52[SPEAKER_00]: WWE events I ever saw was and I was forget because that's one thing that the WWE really really screwed up.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: When they started calling the WrestleMania's just WrestleMania Las Vegas and WrestleMania New Jersey and WrestleMania Ohio, none of that, that sucks.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_00]: Keep those numbers on there.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_00]: So I was forget what WrestleMania it was.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_00]: But Hogan Rock, I think, is
- 11:17[SPEAKER_00]: probably the best memory I've have of a great event as far as production, how it looked, how it felt.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_00]: I think that this event was the best combat sports event I've ever seen.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_00]: And it was made great by the, you know, the fights and, of course, the Marine Band was awesome, but I thought it was the best combat sports event I've ever seen.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_00]: And it seems like the numbers
- 11:48[SPEAKER_01]: it it was a hit.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_01]: Not my company if I'm being honest and we know I'm not the biggest MMA guy right so I've watched MMA and UFC sporadically throughout the years when a big fight happens or if I'm at a party and and so on and so forth but you know I have paramount plus and I knew we were going to talk about it on this show so I tuned in and
- 12:11[SPEAKER_01]: I messes you on the side out and there's a bit of a disagreement here, but I thought it was goofy.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was kind of goofy.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_01]: I
- 12:21[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, I'm somebody that, you know, they always say a stick to sports, stick to sports, right?
- 12:26[SPEAKER_01]: Politics and sports, they shouldn't mix.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_01]: I'm kind of in that boat, right?
- 12:32[SPEAKER_01]: And I didn't feel, I just, we talked about this last week, I said that it would kind of feel like the movie, idiocracy, and it's exactly what it felt like when I tuned in.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_01]: I said,
- 12:44[SPEAKER_01]: what is happening right now?
- 12:46[SPEAKER_01]: We're on the White House lawn, the president's front row falling asleep through each fight and and then you got crazy people, punch drunk guys, calling Michelle Obama a man after it's over and I did see Dana White come out and condemn that.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_01]: So shut out to Dana White for that because there's no place for that.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_01]: That's silliness.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_01]: I was slightly offended by them entering through the oval office.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_01]: That felt
- 13:11[SPEAKER_00]: weird and straight and the only only two guys entered through the oval office, which was the main event.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_01]: Oh really?
- 13:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_01]: I thought I would see.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_01]: I only watched three fights.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_01]: I think the last fight I watched was the O'Malley fight.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_01]: My my kids a huge Sean O'Malley guy.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_01]: So he watches more MMA than I do.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_01]: He was a he was a big fan of the O'Malley fights we watched that.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_01]: And
- 13:38[SPEAKER_01]: the show was delayed by an hour because of thunderstorms.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_01]: So I, it was well past my bed time at that point.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_01]: So I ended up calling it a night and going to bed, but I just felt so weird, so strange, so out of place, so just in a weird way, in my opinion, just
- 14:02[SPEAKER_01]: on American, at least in, I've been watching a lot of presidential documentaries on Netflix, right?
- 14:08[SPEAKER_01]: That's, you can tell I'm about to turn 40 years old in less than two weeks, but actually nine days for now, yikes.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_01]: I've been watching a lot of presidential documentaries, so I'm really getting into the history of our country.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_01]: And it just felt like it was so against what our founding fathers would have wanted from,
- 14:29[SPEAKER_01]: just the white house and the history of the country.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_01]: So it just it just felt really strange to me.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_01]: Why why did you like it so much out?
- 14:37[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we've heard my my take on it.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_01]: Why were you such a big fan?
- 14:41[SPEAKER_00]: Well, first of all, as far as the history, Teddy Roosevelt, you know, I think you've heard this already.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_00]: Teddy Roosevelt used to have boxing matches.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_01]: And I did think to myself and he even participated in one and he was blinded in one eye.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_01]: Teddy Roosevelt was a fucking badass, like maybe the coolest president we've ever had, and I do, as I was watching, I said, you know, I'm a big fan of Teddy Roosevelt, and I think he would have been a big fan of this spectacle that we're seeing here.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_01]: I do think Teddy Roosevelt Roosevelt would have been a fan, maybe even Abraham Lincoln, who is in the professional wrestling Hall of Fame.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_00]: Hmm.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I absolutely loved it.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not one of these people that reviewers buildings because I don't think buildings should be revered.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_00]: They're brick and mortar, they're the masonry, they're grass, they're mud, they're concrete.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: They don't mean anything.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_00]: I think that what matters is the idea of the country.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_00]: I thought it looked absolutely beautiful as a backdrop.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_00]: uh... i thought that all the patriotic stuff like the thunder birds flying overhead with the blue angels information i think that look great zack brown with the national anthem uh... i thought the marine band stole the show and i i did enjoy the marine band i did
- 15:59[SPEAKER_00]: And I think there was an M element there.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_00]: Rungro to TKO produced, if you saw, if you stayed to the end of the fights, by the way, what a man event with Iliya Tupora Tuporia and Justin Gagci.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_00]: If you stayed all the way through and you saw the credits, TKO production, along with the UFC in Zufa.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_00]: So it's
- 16:22[SPEAKER_00]: there was some elements of the TKO in there in the ellipse area where there was like 85,000 fans watching the fights, they had all the giant screens, they had fanfests, and I don't know if you saw what was covering the arena portion on the south lawn, they had what looked like the WWE set up for
- 16:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so it was it looked like they had the introduction plane out and also plane in so you could see it on both sides, so the people from the ellipse can see the introduction at the at the White House, I thought it looked absolutely awesome.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_00]: And I think it helped that the fights were so good because they legitimately had one of the best cards I've ever seen and some of the best fighters in the world.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_01]: This card and the Rousey card that I watch, a lot of first round knockouts.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_01]: In my opinion, just from somebody who doesn't watch MMA, I can understand how that could be very exciting, right?
- 17:30[SPEAKER_01]: As somebody who watched a lot of boxing growing up, the knockouts are very exciting.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_01]: Does that say something about the matchmaking of the card like hey we need to get people who are a little more evenly match so that these knockouts aren't happening so quickly and then there's just so much time in between fights because of that like is that something that they want are the first round knockouts or would they prefer that these fights go a little bit longer.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you want, you know, you want finishes because you don't want it in the hands of judges because boxing and the UFC that've had issues with judging and sometimes it's hard.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_00]: Like two people will sit there and watch the same fight and come to completely different conclusions of what they actually saw.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_00]: Right, but the difference was in the rousey card, they're all just grotesque mismatches.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, and this one you only had two mismatches.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_00]: It was Michael Chandler against Mauricio Huffie and you saw it.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_00]: It was a first round.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_00]: It was a second round knockout early in the second round and then you saw Josh Hoke and
- 18:38[SPEAKER_00]: and uh... deregluse but everybody knew the judge hoax on the way up and deregluse the only way he wins is because he connects with one punch and he was completely gasped in the second round and he got stopped but other than that the rest of the fights were
- 18:53[SPEAKER_00]: were pretty well matched like that was expert matchmaking because they got guys at the height of their powers and everybody thought that the biggest mismatch in the entire card was going to be the main event in favor of Ilia Tuporia and it was the opposite the big underdog one.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I've seen some things online.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_01]: I've seen the discourse after that one where people are talking about that result being a net negative for UFC.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_01]: Do you see it that way, Al?
- 19:29[SPEAKER_00]: Down the road, yeah.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_00]: You have one of your biggest stars just get absolutely, I don't know if you saw his face.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_01]: I did not see that.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_01]: I did not see that fight.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, if you saw Elia Tuporia's face, like everybody's making jokes about, hey, because he, he's very famous for having, he had a victory party on Saturday night.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, the fight was on Sunday.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_00]: And he changed this Twitter bio on Sunday to 18 and no, Elia Tuporia.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_00]: And everybody's making the joke like, hey, once your iPhone can recognize your face, you got to change it to 17 and one.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_01]: That's good.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_01]: That's a good joke.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_00]: You know, but he was very gracious in the feet, but he was absolutely butchered in that fight.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_00]: And the thing is that he had chances to win the fight himself.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_00]: It was easily fight of the year.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_00]: the fighters got bonuses for being for it being the fight of the card.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_00]: And I saw a sugar shame O'Malley, Sean O'Malley was was pretty upset like man.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't get a single bonus.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, hey, just to get you got all the bonuses.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_00]: He got 850,000 from the UFC and he got a million in in stable coin, which means he could turn it into cash in the day.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_00]: So
- 20:44[SPEAKER_00]: It was an absolutely awesome fight and I thought the aesthetics and I thought that it wasn't and the only thing that that was tacky was Josh Hawke it, but he does that in every single fight.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_00]: You know, he always does something stupid after he wins and maybe somebody just has to beat him and they keep giving him these guys that are supposed to knock him out and he doesn't get knocked out.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_00]: He beats them.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_00]: So all you guys would just beat that guy.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_00]: I thought that was the only tacky moment of the whole thing.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_00]: I thought it was pretty classy having the Marine band as far as production.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_00]: the lighting.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_00]: It could be tricky, you know, to shoot fights there.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_00]: And I thought it looked awesome.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_00]: I thought the ring girls look great.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you know, they weren't really like, I know everybody's like, oh my god, it's going to be a big giant, you know, commercial for Trump.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_00]: They show Trump to start.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_00]: That's it when he walked in with Dana White and they showed him when they put the Marine band played, you know, they played the, the pompom circumstance of the presidential theme and that was it.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_00]: He sat down.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_00]: They never showed him again.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_00]: They only times that they showed him our one fight fighters by leaving the ring to go shake his hand.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_00]: And that was it.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_00]: you know, and at the end, they just showed them getting up and saying goodbye to to the crowd who didn't even say any words or anything.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_00]: And that was it.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_00]: And that did a little vignettes.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_00]: I thought that that was a miss.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_00]: The vignettes that had FDR, the JFK that had played that film strange.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that felt strange to me.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_00]: I, I felt strange to me because I don't think that there were there too much AI in nonsense.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_00]: Like you could get, get yourself,
- 22:22[SPEAKER_00]: uh, a narrator, you know what I mean?
- 22:24[SPEAKER_00]: And show actual footage.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_00]: And like, put it this way, you already have, you could buy beef footage, you could buy role of the landings on Normandy.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have to use AI for that.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_00]: And they used AI.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_00]: I thought that the best thing yet they had was actually alive speech for a flag day from Ronald Reagan that he gave in 1981 or 1982 or some shit like that.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_00]: I thought that worked, but other than that, those little vignettes, I didn't think that they worked very well.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_00]: I just didn't think so.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_00]: But the end.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_00]: I saw, and again, the fights were just awesome.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_01]: I saw Dana White said that the event itself was too expensive and they won't be doing another one.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you have seen like TKO, they paid for all of this like the White House didn't chip in at all.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_00]: No, the White House, you know, well, you know, they chipped in as far as security like that to secure the venue.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_00]: Sure, you know, but in construction that you see spent about 60 million dollars putting it up and they're going to recover most of it.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_00]: Like the last I checked, they're going to recover about 40 million of it and that's why you saw the sponsorships, but light was a big sponsor monster energy drink like you saw the sponsors were all over the Octagon.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_00]: and there was commercials.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_00]: But they couldn't sell tickets and paramount plus did not consider a number of ant, which means that they owe the UFC owes a number of ant.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_00]: Now, because they get $1.1 billion per year.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_00]: for I believe it's 11 number of events and 15 total events.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's 40 total events and 11 number of events is what they pay for every single year.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_00]: So the 11 number of events just consider it's like in the rest in wrestling parlance, it will be paper views, okay?
- 24:19[SPEAKER_00]: And the 40 regular events are just like raws and smack downs, right?
- 24:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_00]: And,
- 24:25[SPEAKER_00]: Paramount Plus did not want to count this toward one of the numbers.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_00]: So they're not getting money from that either.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_00]: So it was just a, I guess it's like, are they going to make money in the long run?
- 24:35[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, because if they got a giant number out of people watching this, people are now going to tune in for July 11th when Connor McGregor returns to the Octagon in Las Vegas.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that's where they will make money and that will be on Paramount Plus as well.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's on Paramount Plus as well.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_00]: And that's from Las Vegas, you know?
- 24:56[SPEAKER_00]: And that's going to be in an arena.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_00]: So I thought that the big winners, besides Justin Gachie and the Marine band, I think was Hunter Campbell, the guy who runner Azze has been shitting on for like three months.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_00]: Because I remember when he came out with this card, everybody was like, that's it.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_00]: That's what we're getting for the White House card.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_00]: And then they're becoming the best card of the year and maybe the best card of all time.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_00]: because there was a lot of stars make and there was one they missed in like earlier to have much you liked it that much out you said best of all time yeah best card of all time a lot of consequential winners on on on the card and again just in case he was a five to one underdog
- 25:39[SPEAKER_00]: against illietoporia, illietoporia was undefeated, everybody thought it was the biggest mismatch on the card, everybody said just in case you're going to get knocked out and people who knew knew.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_00]: They knew just in Gachi is one of these blood and gut skies that does not go away.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_00]: You essentially have to bury him and he came into Johnny Cash's, uh, a no grave can hold me down and it was played by the Marine band.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_00]: It was kind of ominous.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to look at that.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_01]: That sounds cool.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_00]: you know, it was a great entrance and early to Puri essentially fought the wrong fight.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_00]: You could tell that he started the fight by fighting with little to no respect for Justin Gachin and tried to walk him down and he started eating jabs and punches and from that point on, it was a war and by the end of the fight, at one point the announcer, John Annick, who I think is the best in all sports.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_00]: the UFC play by playing out to John Anick.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_00]: He's absolutely great.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_00]: I think close seconds, Maro Ronaldo.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's really, really good.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_00]: Remember him?
- 26:46[SPEAKER_00]: He used to do SmackDown, right?
- 26:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he had a polarizing reception from wrestling fans for Maro Ronaldo.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because he was just a what people hated about him was how excited he would get, you know, I don't think there's anything wrong with that, you know what I mean?
- 27:04[SPEAKER_00]: If you're if you're going to get excited for something get excited, you know, if you're going to hype something up, hype it up.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_00]: I thought John Anick was great.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_00]: At one point, John Anick in the third round was saying, we could see bones protruding from Elia Tuporia's face.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay, and what's funny is that just in Gachi after the fight said that Elito is a good looking guy Elia toporia, I don't know if we've ever seen him, but he's a good looking guy, the before and afters are ridiculous because the before's he looks like a male model and just in Gachi after the fight said, you know, he's a pretty guy and I could tell that once he was grabbing his eye because he started bleeding from it that it was starting to go south on him.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, it was one of those things where he was actually shocked.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_00]: Now you could tell on Elieto Perrius face like I'm shocked, I'm in a war and all of a sudden and not only am I am I in a war, I'm on a war on the south lawn of the White House.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I suppose that is not a place you want to, you want to be getting embarrassed, right?
- 28:07[SPEAKER_01]: Did you make money off the card, Alph?
- 28:09[SPEAKER_01]: You probably threw some of those on some of the fights?
- 28:12[SPEAKER_00]: No, because I listen, I did bet a couple of parlays they lost.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, they lost because just can get you one.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I was right about Cyril Gahn beating Alex Pereira.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_00]: Er, but I also had a great entrance, by the way.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_00]: You know, no, I lost because all my parlias ended right there with Justin Gachis fight and I was also afraid to put too much money because everybody was telling me, look, these are a regular circumstances they're fighting outside, you know, it could rain, although there wasn't a drop in in sight, I remember you saw how the the storm actually split into and went around DC for the fight, like, and you know,
- 28:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, anybody with a tinfoil hat and wants to say that the United States has like, you know, anti weather machines or something, now's your time to shine with those conspiracy theories because my god, they come that disguise completely clear.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_00]: The fight was supposed to start at eight.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_00]: And all of a sudden, it said, now we're doing the pre-show at eight.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_00]: And then at eight, 15, all of a sudden, they pop in into the pre-show and they said, no, we're going to start the fights now.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_00]: I guess they were nervous and it turns out that they were nervous that there was going to be a storm by 1030 so they wanted to you know squeeze in they wanted to get into the fights right away
- 29:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and imagine the DC residents that heard all the fireworks at 120.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, probably weren't too happy about it.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_00]: But as far as production, like they're going to win Emmys, they're going to win Emmys for this thing.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_00]: Like this is going to be, it's going to be, and it's going to be well deserved.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_00]: And this just shows that, and this goes for the WWE as well.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, because it's the same company.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_00]: They're capable of so much.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_00]: If they give us too little, it's on them.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_00]: It really is, because they just showed you what they're capable of.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_00]: And especially UFC who every once in a while pops off with a great show, production wise, and then they just come out with another cookie cutter show.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_00]: You know, another Rinse and Repeat, give us your money show.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_00]: I think the WWE learned should have learned some lessons.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_00]: First of all, the live music was awesome.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_00]: I think the WWE has to get back to doing some stuff like that, you know.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I don't know if AFI was available, but imagine AFI playing in CM Punk at Russell Mania.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_01]: That would have been the coolest WrestleMania moment for me.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_01]: I love AFI, go see him on tour whenever they're in my area, my favorite band of all time.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, while we disagree on the UFC at the White House, the UFC 250 celebration,
- 31:06[SPEAKER_01]: I am not one of those people who says that every piece of media has to be for me, right?
- 31:13[SPEAKER_01]: That show wasn't for me, I'm not a UFC guy, I'm not an MMA guy, I don't watch a lot of that stuff.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_01]: But I do understand how people could have watched that like yourself, and found it to be wildly entertaining, and found it to be like you said, the best MMA card of all time.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_01]: just because it wasn't my cup of tea doesn't mean it wasn't good.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't well received and doesn't mean that it shouldn't be celebrated by people who found it to be entertaining.
- 31:47[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 31:47[SPEAKER_01]: So I get it.
- 31:50[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't for me.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't meant for me and that's completely okay.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm glad that you enjoyed it.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_01]: I'm glad that a lot of MMA fans enjoyed it and
- 32:02[SPEAKER_01]: you know, this will lead to more creative events like this, you know, and I mean, it doesn't have to be on the White House lawn.
- 32:10[SPEAKER_01]: It could be in fucking Badlands National Park, you know what I mean?
- 32:14[SPEAKER_01]: It could be somewhere cool like that where you got these cool backdrops.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_01]: Like WCW, you used to do the the the the big biker festival, you know what I'm saying, hog wild.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_01]: That was cool.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_01]: That was super cool.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't ride motorcycles, and I'm not in bike or gangs, you know what I mean?
- 32:32[SPEAKER_01]: But I could appreciate it for what it was.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, if it leads to more things like that, then I could be down.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and it's already, and it's like, it's not like it hasn't happened.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_00]: Like a month ago, I believe, was when Alexander, Alexander Usek, defended his title in front of the, the pyramids in Gisa.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_01]: and should even know about that.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and that looked awesome as well, you know, but yeah, I think that those are things that they can do and I think it will work if they do it going forward, you know, but yeah, absolutely loved I loved the whole production I love everything about it, you know, and,
- 33:11[SPEAKER_00]: Now it'll never happen again, like I believe what they're going to do next year is like a fight for the troops, which has happened before and they're probably going to go to a base and they're going to get what is they're not going to get championship fights because when people ask, you know, you know, why not why can't they get championship fights for a very simple you got to pay these people.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, and that was part of the reason why the show lost money for the UFC is because they had to pay all these fighters Alex Pereira got paid ten million dollars for his fight All right, you know the main event Toporia got about four million and Gachi got three million that's seven million in salary you're paying to fighters that you can't recover because you can't sell tickets
- 33:54[SPEAKER_00]: You know, and you're not selling a paper view model.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_00]: Although you're selling it overseas in paper view models.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_00]: So I think what they're going to do next year is is do another do a smaller like fight night show at a military base kind of similar to what the WWE used to do.
- 34:11[SPEAKER_00]: and used to go to our own to military bases, so they'll do something like that.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that'll work, you know, as much smaller scale, like this undertaking was way, way too difficult.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_00]: I think, and the UFC was not interested in doing stuff like that.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_00]: But I think it worked.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_00]: I think it worked.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_00]: And we're going to see as the numbers come out.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_00]: We've already heard some preliminary numbers, and it looks giant, you know?
- 34:34[SPEAKER_00]: It looks in this country, because remember,
- 34:36[SPEAKER_00]: Now they count the streaming views, because everybody says, oh, but the fights were on Sunday night, well, how many people saw it?
- 34:42[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's looking like 45 million initial views in 150 million, the next day.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_00]: So that's a lot, and then rumor has a worldwide audience, as well.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_00]: So can they get to 500 million people watching that fight?
- 34:57[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe, that's a possibility.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_00]: All right, enough, that's not enough to beat a world cup event.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_00]: because I don't know if you've been watching the ratings for these for this world cup, they're absolutely astronomical, like they're ridiculous numbers.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_01]: Good.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 35:12[SPEAKER_01]: Good.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_01]: So it's too good.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_00]: Anything from the wrestling world that should have caught our eye, besides Triple H and Roman Reigns being at the show.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we're there with our email.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you got, uh, you got, uh, Jacob Fattu splashing Eric Andre on, uh, was, was that SmackDown or Raw was that I can't even remember what that was.
- 35:38[SPEAKER_01]: I heard about it.
- 35:39[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't see it did Eric Andre sell it good.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, he got crushed.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there's only so much we didn't walk on it didn't they care them out.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_00]: They care them out.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_01]: There's only so much you can do to protect yourself when a man that size is coming at you from the top rope.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's it is what it is.
- 35:59[SPEAKER_01]: You know, and I mean 300 pounds crashing down on top of you from the top rope like you're going to feel that.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_00]: And what did you make?
- 36:06[SPEAKER_00]: And I guess we could end right here.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_00]: What did you make of all the rumors of seeing punk being unhappy?
- 36:13[SPEAKER_00]: And then it turns out it's all bullshit.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_00]: No, he's fine.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's always bullshit.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_01]: I think wrestling journalists, like somebody should have pulled me aside 20 years ago and said, no, no, no, no, you don't want to be a wrestler.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_01]: You want to be a wrestling journalist because you don't have to get anything right.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_01]: You don't have to be good at your job.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_01]: Everyone's gonna read it anyways and you'll make all the money.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_01]: So that's what I should have done.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_01]: Wrestling journalists, I hate to even call them journalists.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what they are.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_01]: They're rumor-mongers.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_00]: Gossip columnists.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_00]: There's essentially what it is, yeah, but yeah, and when I was hearing it like you could tell when it's bullshit, right?
- 36:51[SPEAKER_00]: Because they're coming out and saying now he's unhappy with The direction of creative with with him and I'm thinking of myself if there's one guy who's been written expertly Since he came back it's been seeing punk.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'm I'm talking about they haven't had a misstep I least I don't remember one.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_00]: Do you remember a misstep in writing with C and punk?
- 37:12[SPEAKER_01]: not in particular when it comes to punk it and remember, CM Punk's big beef with WWE before he left the first time was that he wanted a WrestleMania main event.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_01]: Well, what did he get this year?
- 37:24[SPEAKER_01]: He got himself his WrestleMania main event.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_01]: So if, if, if, if all Phil Brooks was unhappy after that one, then there's no pleasing Phil Brooks.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_01]: So no, I, I, I, I was not believing any of those rumors.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_01]: That's for sure.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_00]: And like I said,
- 37:39[SPEAKER_00]: who's been written better than him, like everybody else, like you know, Roman Reigns has had some missteps, you know, Seth Rollins has had some missteps, you know, not have, of his fault, but as far as writing how they've written him, Jackie Lynch, uh, re-rippling, they, they've all had.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_00]: misapps in writing for their characters and their personas.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_00]: Not the impun.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_00]: He always comes off looking like a million bucks.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_00]: I've never remember him looking like an asshole at a show.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_00]: He always looks like a million bucks and his match is always consequential.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_00]: People care about his match.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_00]: His entrances are on point.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_00]: People pop all over the place for his entrances.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's been a dream since he came back.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_00]: I think.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and and that's the thing right anytime somebody's off TV for I don't even want to say an extended period of time, but even just a small amount of time.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody immediately goes to, oh, they're unhappy.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_01]: They don't want to be there.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_01]: They're holding out or whatever.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_01]: No, sometimes when you lose a major program like seeing a bunk did.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_01]: you just need to keep them off TV for a while so you can kind of let the audience forget about what just happened and you can bring them back to a big fanfare and and they get right into their next view.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_01]: So this is common place in professional wrestling and it's not surprising at all to me that CM Punk took a little time off after WrestleMania.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_01]: He'll be back shortly.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and CM Punk has, you know, it's hard to say that a guy
- 39:09[SPEAKER_00]: He has a possible Cody Rhodes feud in front of them.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_00]: The Seth Rollins thing never really got sorted out.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_00]: He could have us, and then you could do a year with Seth Rollins, and it would work, you know?
- 39:23[SPEAKER_00]: Although, I think CM Punk has to take down his next feud because like how many of these is gonna lose, you know?
- 39:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_00]: So he probably has to get the upper hand in the next one.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_01]: All right, I think we could call it here.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_00]: And next week, I don't know what we'll talk about, but we'll find something to talk about.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_00]: And it'll be fun.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_00]: But, tell that.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for listening to the Off-Seas.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_01]: Eric and Alf.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_01]: Until next time, raise your fans, raise your glasses, and we'll talk to you next time.
