- 0:08Speaker 1: Scandal and vice, or sugar and.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Spice It's Naughty But Nice with Rob Hello, hello, hello, hello, hello, hello,
- 0:15Speaker 2: hello Welcome to the Naughty But Nice Show I'm your host,
- 0:18Speaker 2: Rob Shooter And it's Wednesday Which means our dear friend
- 0:21Speaker 2: Donnie Meacham joins us Hey Donnie, are you there?
- 0:24Speaker 1: Hello, hello, hello, hello Oh, it's my favourite week My
- 0:29Speaker 1: favourite day My favourite everything Because, first of all, I
- 0:34Speaker 1: can't believe we're in September Can't believe it.
- 0:36Speaker 3: September. September. September. It flies by. So you have to
- 0:41Speaker 3: enjoy every single day because it does fly by. Oh,
- 0:44Speaker 3: yesterday we had a technical issue. Thank you for pointing
- 0:46Speaker 3: it out. I got lots and lots of DMs. Delaina
- 0:49Speaker 3: and myself taped the show in the wee hours of
- 0:51Speaker 3: the morning. We tape at like 7am. And then I
- 0:53Speaker 3: put it into the system and it goes live after
- 0:56Speaker 3: the ads have been put on and all the technical
- 0:59Speaker 3: stuff that I have nothing to do with. It was delayed.
- 1:02Speaker 3: Thank God. Thank God. Because in the middle of you talking, Donna,
- 1:05Speaker 3: there'd be an ad, which might not be such a
- 1:07Speaker 3: bad thing. So I don't know how to do any
- 1:09Speaker 3: of that stuff. So, Delaina, if you're listening, hello, hello, hello.
- 1:12Speaker 3: We loaded it. We did the work. It didn't post
- 1:14Speaker 3: till about noon, but that's on them, not us. But
- 1:17Speaker 3: thank you for reaching out. I do want you to know, though,
- 1:19Speaker 3: because it is important. We do the work every single day. Rain, shine.
- 1:24Speaker 3: We're like the US Post Office. In fact, we're more reliable,
- 1:28Speaker 3: I would say, than the post office. And so we
- 1:31Speaker 3: always try to get it to you. I'm sorry about yesterday.
- 1:32Speaker 3: A technical issue that I think now hopefully has been fixed. OK,
- 1:36Speaker 3: let's jump into the show. That's what you're here for.
- 1:38Speaker 3: The news, the gossip. What time is it, my friends?
- 1:40Speaker 3: It is tea time. Big story at the top of
- 1:43Speaker 3: the show. So the palace is bracing for an all
- 1:45Speaker 3: out war as Harry and Meghan clap back. So yesterday
- 1:50Speaker 3: we told you about the statement that the king put out.
- 1:52Speaker 3: The king put out a statement reminding everybody they're not royals.
- 1:56Speaker 3: They're not HRHs. They are private individuals. That's basically what
- 2:01Speaker 3: he said. It was a stunning statement. I didn't think
- 2:04Speaker 3: they would do it. I thought the royals would just
- 2:06Speaker 3: ignore them. No, a statement was put out. Well, Harry
- 2:09Speaker 3: and Meghan, through a spokesperson, has responded to the statement
- 2:13Speaker 3: saying they were surprised, implying too that they weren't given
- 2:18Speaker 3: the heads up. They were. I spoke to my palace
- 2:20Speaker 3: insiders and they said what they were not asked was
- 2:23Speaker 3: to participate in the writing of the statement. But they
- 2:27Speaker 3: knew that statement. was going out. Well, now insiders are saying,
- 2:31Speaker 3: then brace it, because it's clear now it's a new
- 2:34Speaker 3: Harry and Meghan. The last time they were in the country, what,
- 2:37Speaker 3: six years ago, they were very, very quiet because they
- 2:39Speaker 3: were still members of the working royal family. They were upset.
- 2:43Speaker 3: They talked about this when they did that exit interview
- 2:45Speaker 3: with Oprah and the book, that they believed the palace
- 2:48Speaker 3: didn't protect them, didn't do enough, and they were silent
- 2:51Speaker 3: because they believed the men in the suits would look
- 2:54Speaker 3: after them, and they did not. So they didn't say
- 2:57Speaker 3: a word. Well, this is a whole new Harry and Meghan.
- 3:00Speaker 3: They've learned from their experience. We all do, don't we?
- 3:02Speaker 3: If you can't trust the institution anymore, you trust yourself.
- 3:05Speaker 3: And so Harry and Meghan now, I'm told by my insiders,
- 3:08Speaker 3: are going to fight back. If the palace, if the
- 3:11Speaker 3: king puts out a statement and they don't agree with it,
- 3:14Speaker 3: they're going to respond. Well, now royal insiders know this
- 3:17Speaker 3: is a whole new game they're playing because now they
- 3:21Speaker 3: know that this is going to be constant tit for tat.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Although one insider did tell me Don't expect the king
- 3:27Speaker 3: to get into it. They're not going to respond to everything.
- 3:30Speaker 3: They're going to still ignore them on most of the things.
- 3:32Speaker 3: If it's big stuff, they will issue a statement. But
- 3:35Speaker 3: their daily existence is not going to be responding to
- 3:37Speaker 3: Harry and Meghan. Because if they went down that route,
- 3:40Speaker 3: which we have here on this show, thank you very much,
- 3:42Speaker 3: that's the only thing you will be talking about. So
- 3:45Speaker 3: I think the palace here is going to take the
- 3:47Speaker 3: high road. But Meghan and Harry, they're different. It was
- 3:51Speaker 3: six years ago. They've learned. They're stronger now. They are empowered.
- 3:56Speaker 3: They feel very emboldened. And so gone are the days
- 4:00Speaker 3: of them just, what is it, the British expression? Keeping
- 4:03Speaker 3: calm and carrying on. Not going to happen now. They're
- 4:06Speaker 3: going to fight back. What do you think?
- 4:10Speaker 1: It's crazy because I never thought that I would get
- 4:12Speaker 1: to a point to where I felt bad for Meghan
- 4:14Speaker 1: and Harry.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Look at that.
- 4:15Speaker 1: And the reason is, is because they get no love
- 4:20Speaker 1: here in the States anymore.
- 4:21Speaker 3: No.
- 4:22Speaker 1: They get no love in UK.
- 4:24Speaker 3: No.
- 4:24Speaker 2: These.
- 4:25Speaker 1: They somehow went from, just after that Oprah interview, everybody
- 4:30Speaker 1: was Jean, Harry, and Meghan. Oh, the royal family has, oh,
- 4:35Speaker 1: they got you. They took advantage of you.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Blah, blah, blah.
- 4:37Speaker 1: And now we're like, are you guys really delusional enough
- 4:40Speaker 1: to think that you're going to take on the palace
- 4:42Speaker 1: and win?
- 4:43Speaker 3: No.
- 4:43Speaker 1: And it doesn't make sense. You moved back there.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
- 4:48Speaker 1: For what? Because you wanted to. I guarantee you Harry
- 4:53Speaker 1: was not behind that. It was Meghan. And it was
- 4:56Speaker 1: a petty move. I'm telling you right now, it was
- 4:58Speaker 1: a petty move.
- 4:59Speaker 3: You know I love a petty move. But I do
- 5:01Speaker 3: have to disagree a little bit here, Donny. We have
- 5:03Speaker 3: friends who upset everybody. And at some point you have
- 5:06Speaker 3: to say to that person, it's you. It's you. You're
- 5:10Speaker 3: the problem. Everywhere you go. Go away from me. I
- 5:13Speaker 3: might be this friend that I'm talking about. It might
- 5:15Speaker 3: be me or you, Donny. Sometimes you and I are upset.
- 5:18Speaker 3: You know, if I upset one country. Okay, two, three,
- 5:23Speaker 3: then it might be me. If I upset one person
- 5:26Speaker 3: at work, it could be them, could be me. But
- 5:28Speaker 3: if the whole company doesn't like me, then it's probably me.
- 5:33Speaker 3: It is definitely me. They went from being the most
- 5:36Speaker 3: loved couple in the world. Remember the wedding? A billion
- 5:39Speaker 3: people watched that wedding. The king walked her down the
- 5:41Speaker 3: aisle when her dad didn't show up, her disgraced dad.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Everybody loved Elton John sang at the reception. They were beloved.
- 5:51Speaker 3: I just haven't ever seen any celebrity, forget royals, just
- 5:55Speaker 3: fall this far from grace, from being the golden couple.
- 6:00Speaker 3: They were absolutely adored.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Beloved.
- 6:03Speaker 3: To now people don't want to touch them. And I
- 6:06Speaker 3: do have to chuckle that they do think they can
- 6:09Speaker 3: take on Buckingham Palace. They think they have turned up.
- 6:12Speaker 3: In their home country, they have a, what's it called
- 6:16Speaker 3: in sports? They have an on-site advantage, an on-field, a
- 6:20Speaker 3: home advantage.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Look at you.
- 6:22Speaker 3: Look at me. It's because of Taylor Swift. Home advantage.
- 6:25Speaker 3: It was my third try, but I got the home
- 6:27Speaker 3: on the third try. So I know a little sports.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Thank you, Travis Kelsey. They've got the home advantage. They're
- 6:37Speaker 3: not going to beat Buckingham Palace in the UK. And
- 6:41Speaker 3: the fact they've rocked up and think that they can,
- 6:43Speaker 3: it's not empowering. It's delusional. Megan, Megan, Megan. Oh, I
- 6:49Speaker 3: think we have to blame both of them. I do.
- 6:51Speaker 3: I think it's both of them here. I still haven't
- 6:53Speaker 3: got an answer. So they've been back now 13 days.
- 6:56Speaker 3: I know everybody. I've hit the phones maybe 10 times
- 6:59Speaker 3: a day for 13 days. That's over 130 times I've
- 7:02Speaker 3: called people in Britain primarily. Why are they there? They
- 7:06Speaker 3: said school. We have great schools in California. In fact,
- 7:09Speaker 3: America has... They.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Can pay the teacher to come to the house.
- 7:14Speaker 3: So it's not the school. It's not the school. Money.
- 7:17Speaker 3: She didn't get that job. She's not working for Guy Ritchie.
- 7:19Speaker 3: There's no job. So why are they making any money?
- 7:22Speaker 3: Neither one of them are earning money over there. So
- 7:24Speaker 3: it's not money. Is it to be close to the dad?
- 7:26Speaker 3: It's Harry. Harry was miserable here. Harry was miserable. But
- 7:30Speaker 3: I think he's going to be miserable there.
- 7:32Speaker 1: He can't leave her. He can't leave her because this
- 7:34Speaker 1: is the problem. He's already lost his family. Now he
- 7:37Speaker 1: can't lose Meghan too, so the poor guy's stuck. So
- 7:40Speaker 1: he's like, well, crap, I got to go. I guess
- 7:41Speaker 1: whatever she says now, I'm already knee deep in it.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Why does she want to be there now? A country that... Petty. Petty.
- 7:49Speaker 3: You know, it's the only explanation that came from somebody
- 7:52Speaker 3: who works inside the palace. And they don't know this.
- 7:55Speaker 3: They were speculating. But I was talking to them and
- 7:57Speaker 3: they said they think the Sussexes are addicted to drama. Chaos.
- 8:03Speaker 3: And moving back to Britain is chaos. There is no
- 8:07Speaker 3: sense in it. You are not like that. There's no
- 8:10Speaker 3: money there for you to make. There's no family there.
- 8:12Speaker 3: You have no friends there. Why are you there? It
- 8:15Speaker 3: is not the education system. Montecito has a great school.
- 8:20Speaker 3: It really does. It's about attention, not money. It's not
- 8:26Speaker 3: the kids. It's not being close to his dying father,
- 8:28Speaker 3: who he's still not spoken to in 13 days. This
- 8:31Speaker 3: is about the Sussexes' need for chaos. Oh, yeah, yeah,
- 8:36Speaker 3: which brings us. To our poll question of the day,
- 8:38Speaker 3: the palace is bracing for an all-out war as Harry
- 8:41Speaker 3: and Meghan really bizarrely, delusionally feel empowered and they're going
- 8:45Speaker 3: to start fighting back. Who's going to win? The king
- 8:49Speaker 3: or the duke? I think we know the answer. Hey,
- 8:51Speaker 3: go vote on our X page or our Twitter page.
- 8:54Speaker 3: I love still calling it Twitter. I know it's not,
- 8:56Speaker 3: but I just like it. Twitter at Naughty Nice Rob.
- 8:59Speaker 3: Our Facebook page is Naughty Gossip. And be sure to
- 9:03Speaker 3: check back tomorrow to hear your results.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Hey.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Denise. Denise, what are you working on?
- 9:09Speaker 1: Just real quick, and I say this with the most
- 9:11Speaker 1: respect to the king.
- 9:12Speaker 3: Okay.
- 9:14Speaker 1: He's old, and he has cancer. He has nothing left
- 9:18Speaker 1: to lose, Harry.
- 9:19Speaker 3: He's... All gloves are off at this point. They're unleashed.
- 9:25Speaker 3: That's the tread. Careful. This is not the thread. Yes.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Being sick. Sandra Bullock is... You know, it's interesting because
- 9:34Speaker 1: when her longtime partner... And while he was sick the
- 9:37Speaker 1: first time, she really didn't talk a lot about him
- 9:41Speaker 1: at all. She kind of kept it very private. Well,
- 9:44Speaker 1: now she's doing Practical Magic 2. Her and Nicole Kidman, look.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Those two ladies do not age.
- 9:51Speaker 3: They got younger.
- 9:52Speaker 1: They are stunningly beautiful.
- 9:53Speaker 3: They got younger. Yeah, they are gorgeous.
- 9:55Speaker 1: But she's talking about her longtime partner now who died
- 9:59Speaker 1: in 2023.
- 9:59Speaker 3: No. 57.
- 10:01Speaker 1: And, you know, she's really coming out and she's talking about,
- 10:04Speaker 1: you know, taking care of him. And she had a
- 10:06Speaker 1: wake up call at one point because this is the problem.
- 10:09Speaker 1: We as human beings, we love somebody. We see that
- 10:12Speaker 1: they are hurting. They're sick. We want to take care
- 10:14Speaker 1: of them. The problem is, is a lot of times
- 10:17Speaker 1: you can't do it by yourself. And Sandra realized, I
- 10:21Speaker 1: can't take on this man's sickness all by myself because
- 10:25Speaker 1: then it in turn makes her sick mentally because she's
- 10:29Speaker 1: just bogged down by it. So she said she had
- 10:30Speaker 1: a wake-up call and was like, look, I need help
- 10:33Speaker 1: here in this department.
- 10:35Speaker 3: Which is brave. It's brave and it's so truthful too.
- 10:39Speaker 3: The caretaker often suffers. When my dad was very, very sick,
- 10:43Speaker 3: my mom was working all around the clock really, 24-7,
- 10:46Speaker 3: and she suffered. She suffered. She kept my dad alive
- 10:49Speaker 3: an extra six weeks. But in the process, she really,
- 10:52Speaker 3: really didn't look after herself. You've got to look after yourself.
- 10:55Speaker 3: You really have. It's a cliche, but there's truth to it.
- 10:58Speaker 3: On an aeroplane, they tell you to put your mask
- 11:00Speaker 3: on first before you help anybody else. There's a reason
- 11:05Speaker 3: for that. If anything happens to you, there's no one
- 11:07Speaker 3: to help anybody. So if you have a chance to
- 11:10Speaker 3: put your mask on, if you have a chance to
- 11:12Speaker 3: look after yourself, do it. Sandra, what a beautiful story. Okay,
- 11:16Speaker 3: moving along. Justin and Hailey Bieber are turning up the
- 11:19Speaker 3: heat on a new magazine cover. They're really going for PDA,
- 11:23Speaker 3: kissing intimately on the cover. I looked inside and these two,
- 11:27Speaker 3: it almost feels as if they are overdoing it. They
- 11:30Speaker 3: are protesting their love for one another. A little bit
- 11:33Speaker 3: too aggressive for my liking. Now, there has been speculation.
- 11:36Speaker 3: that the relationship is in trouble. They're trying to send
- 11:39Speaker 3: a clear message here. Obviously, they're still together. They're very
- 11:41Speaker 3: much in love. But what do you think about couples?
- 11:43Speaker 3: Not just selected couples. Do you have friends who are
- 11:46Speaker 3: always kissing? Do you have friends when you go out
- 11:48Speaker 3: for dinner that are always holding hands, that are always touching?
- 11:52Speaker 3: Is it something that you think is just so sweet?
- 11:55Speaker 3: Is it something that you think is just, oh, that's
- 11:57Speaker 3: so adorable? Or can it be too much? Where are
- 12:02Speaker 3: you on this, darling? Are you a public display of
- 12:04Speaker 3: affection type of gentleman? Oh, it's a wrinkle in his face.
- 12:07Speaker 1: I'm not a private display of affection.
- 12:10Speaker 3: What do you mean?
- 12:12Speaker 1: This is the part that... A lot of times, I
- 12:15Speaker 1: think it's because we've been in this business so long.
- 12:19Speaker 1: It bugs me when you hear rumors. There's rumors, oh,
- 12:21Speaker 1: the relationship's doing bad. The next thing you know, there's
- 12:25Speaker 1: a photo dump on Instagram of them. Holding hands in
- 12:29Speaker 1: the photo. But it's just their hands. And it says,
- 12:31Speaker 1: I love you to the moon and back. And there's
- 12:34Speaker 1: a photo of them walking, going, oh, only eyes for you.
- 12:40Speaker 3: This is what they do.
- 12:41Speaker 1: And we know this. We see this and we go, oh,
- 12:44Speaker 1: we see right through it because we know what it is.
- 12:46Speaker 1: It is a weight. We don't want you to know
- 12:50Speaker 1: things are bad, so we're going to pretend things are good.
- 12:52Speaker 3: Yeah, it's an illusion. It's smoke and mirrors.
- 12:54Speaker 1: It's look over there.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Look over there.
- 12:56Speaker 1: It just cracks me up.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Do you think that happens in real life, too? Your
- 12:59Speaker 3: friends and couples?
- 13:02Speaker 1: My friends aren't happy together. I know that.
- 13:04Speaker 3: But they don't.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Post photos like they are.
- 13:09Speaker 3: I hope all your friends are listening. Okay, moving along.
- 13:14Speaker 3: This is a sweet story, though. Selma Hayek turns 60.
- 13:17Speaker 3: How does she celebrate? What's she doing?
- 13:18Speaker 1: 60 and... Some hack has a better body than I do.
- 13:23Speaker 3: She looks incredible. Like I'm telling you. She looks incredible.
- 13:26Speaker 1: She posts photos of she was skinny dipping. 60 years old.
- 13:30Speaker 3: I said, Selma. Selma. I went online and I go....
- 13:36Speaker 1: Gyms closest to me. And I looked and I was like, I.
- 13:40Speaker 3: Too far.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Because Selma made me feel like... I was like, and
- 13:43Speaker 1: as a gay man, it made me feel a certain
- 13:44Speaker 1: way too. And I go, am I attracted to older women?
- 13:47Speaker 3: Is that my... Have I changed my... With Nicole Kidman
- 13:52Speaker 3: and Sandra Bullock and now Selma. Maybe we like... And
- 13:55Speaker 3: when we say older, Johnny, they're 60. Like, sweetie, we
- 13:59Speaker 3: nearly there. We nearly there.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Nearly.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Not quite. So I could still say... When you turn 60...
- 14:06Speaker 3: In a couple of years. Will you go skinny dipping? No. No.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I have a good thing down there. I'm not showing it.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Donna, that is too much information. We are going to
- 14:18Speaker 3: keep moving along. I am shocked. I am shocked. I
- 14:21Speaker 3: am shocked. Okay. Before we get a break, Harry hasn't
- 14:24Speaker 3: spoke to the King since returning to the UK. So
- 14:26Speaker 3: I reported this a few days ago. Now it's been confirmed.
- 14:29Speaker 3: There's been back in Britain 13 days and apparently not
- 14:31Speaker 3: a single phone call, but even maybe more alarming, they
- 14:34Speaker 3: don't have anything on the schedule. So maybe they're both
- 14:37Speaker 3: busy for two or three weeks, but you say, let's
- 14:39Speaker 3: make plans in October, November. Let's make plans. There is
- 14:43Speaker 3: nothing on the schedule. We opened the show with this,
- 14:47Speaker 3: but trust me, this is not going to end well.
- 14:50Speaker 3: It has not started well, Tonya. So the fact that
- 14:53Speaker 3: it hasn't even started well tells us that we know
- 14:56Speaker 3: the ending of this. It's not, it's not if it's
- 15:00Speaker 3: going to happen. It is when. When are the wheels
- 15:04Speaker 3: going to come off? Okay, we're going to take a
- 15:07Speaker 3: quick break and we will be right back. Welcome back
- 15:12Speaker 3: to the Naughty But Nice Show. I'm your host, Rob Shooter. Hey,
- 15:15Speaker 3: let's get to the polls. Thank you very much. The palace...
- 15:21Speaker 3: were forced to explain Meghan and Harry's status after 12
- 15:24Speaker 3: days of confusion. Nobody knew what to do. The military,
- 15:27Speaker 3: the government, the police, all the regional areas in Britain,
- 15:31Speaker 3: they didn't know what to do with these two. So
- 15:33Speaker 3: they kept calling the palace saying, are they royals? Like,
- 15:36Speaker 3: do we bow? Do we curtsy? Who are they? And
- 15:39Speaker 3: the palace then had to put out a statement. I'm
- 15:41Speaker 3: told William was behind the statement saying that they're not royals.
- 15:46Speaker 3: They're basically private individuals. Ouch. Ouch. Did this sting the Sussexes? Well,
- 15:50Speaker 3: we know now from their statement that they were surprised
- 15:53Speaker 3: it did. What do you think? Oh, 80% said yes,
- 15:56Speaker 3: it did sting. Yes, it stung. Don't forget to vote
- 16:00Speaker 3: on today's poll. Go to our Twitter page at Naughty
- 16:02Speaker 3: Noise Rob, our ex-page, or our Facebook page, Naughty Gossip,
- 16:06Speaker 3: and be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
- 16:10Speaker 3: And now it's time for our nicest of the day.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Oh, the nicest of the day is this couple. Taylor
- 16:24Speaker 1: and Travis. Can we go back to the beginning to
- 16:27Speaker 1: where it was like, is this a real couple? Is
- 16:30Speaker 1: this really happening? And now they have shown nothing but
- 16:33Speaker 1: these two, the opposite of Justin and me.
- 16:36Speaker 3: The opposite.
- 16:38Speaker 1: They're actually very happy. And they're so happy that I
- 16:41Speaker 1: just go, oh, I know you. They just love each
- 16:44Speaker 1: other so much. They were on a date night in
- 16:46Speaker 1: New York City. Which is hard because Travis is back.
- 16:49Speaker 3: In the football field. He is in the football field.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Another sports thing for you. Home team advantage.
- 16:52Speaker 3: There in Kansas City. They don't see each other. Yeah.
- 16:55Speaker 3: They look so cute together. They're so happy together. They
- 16:57Speaker 3: went to a little Indian restaurant in the area, I think.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Where was it? The Nomad area, which is north of Madison.
- 17:03Speaker 3: I think that's what that stands for. I've lived here
- 17:06Speaker 3: for 30 years. I still get lost.
- 17:09Speaker 1: You're a geographer now, too.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Look at you. These two. Delicious. Check out the pictures.
- 17:15Speaker 3: The two of them are on a romantic date tonight.
- 17:17Speaker 3: And now I noticed today, naughty, naughty, naughty, CBS is
- 17:20Speaker 3: really concerned about 60 Minutes. It returns on Sunday. But
- 17:23Speaker 3: it's a new CBS. It's a new 60 Minutes. Anderson
- 17:26Speaker 3: Cooper's gone. Cecilia Vega's gone. Scott Pelley's gone. He was
- 17:29Speaker 3: there forever. So they've hired some new people to come in.
- 17:32Speaker 3: The NFL is their lead-in. So they're going to get
- 17:34Speaker 3: a massive number because the NFL delivers millions and millions.
- 17:37Speaker 3: So the first one, they hope. They might not. People
- 17:40Speaker 3: might watch the football and tune out. And so I'm
- 17:42Speaker 3: told they are really on edge. This is their own
- 17:46Speaker 3: doing here. If you take a hit show and you
- 17:48Speaker 3: mess with it, then something's going to change. So good luck.
- 17:52Speaker 3: But we will find out next week if 60 Minutes
- 17:55Speaker 3: is still must-watch TV. Okay, let's end with a moment
- 18:00Speaker 3: of Rob. You get a Rob, you get a Rob,
- 18:02Speaker 3: you get a Rob, you get a Rob. You don't
- 18:04Speaker 3: need to move the mountain. You just need to learn
- 18:07Speaker 3: how to climb it. you're stuck because you keep trying
- 18:10Speaker 3: to move a mountain.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Stop.
- 18:12Speaker 3: You're not going to move that mountain. The mountain is
- 18:14Speaker 3: going nowhere. Neither are your problems or your fears or
- 18:17Speaker 3: your challenges just because you wish they could disappear. It
- 18:20Speaker 3: takes an action plan, a goal. The goal isn't to
- 18:25Speaker 3: remove every single obstacle in your path. It's impossible. It's
- 18:29Speaker 3: to become strong enough to climb over them. There is
- 18:32Speaker 3: always going to be an obstacle in your path, always
- 18:34Speaker 3: a mountain in on your path to success. You're not
- 18:37Speaker 3: going to move that mountain, but you've got to climb
- 18:38Speaker 3: over it. So take one step, then another, rest when
- 18:41Speaker 3: you need to, but then keep going. And eventually, what
- 18:44Speaker 3: looked impossible will be behind you. You don't need an
- 18:49Speaker 3: easier mountain. You need to trust that you can climb it.
- 18:53Speaker 3: And you can. Some of the things that I thought
- 18:55Speaker 3: were impossible in my life, having my own podcast, being
- 18:58Speaker 3: a published author, having Donnie, somebody as handsome as Donnie,
- 19:02Speaker 3: as my best friend, I thought, oh, that was impossible.
- 19:06Speaker 3: So did you, Donnie. You still do, you monster. But
- 19:09Speaker 3: I took a step every single day. I didn't move
- 19:12Speaker 3: the mountain, but I learned how to climb over it.
- 19:17Speaker 3: I think that's excellent advice. What do you think, Denise?
- 19:21Speaker 3: I am too. I love that. I impressed myself with that.
- 19:24Speaker 1: But it really is, though.
- 19:26Speaker 3: It really is great.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Because I'm also like, Sometimes I think the problem is
- 19:30Speaker 1: I'm nervous to climb. And I think that's what a
- 19:32Speaker 1: lot of people get. They're nervous to even start to climb.
- 19:34Speaker 3: One step. One step at a time. You don't have
- 19:37Speaker 3: to climb the whole ladder. You just have to take
- 19:39Speaker 3: one step. Hey, that is it for today. Thank you
- 19:43Speaker 3: so much for listening to the Naughty But Nice with
- 19:46Speaker 3: Rob and Donny show. We're a production of Elvis Duran
- 19:49Speaker 3: and iHeartRadio. iHeartRadio. Any complaints about Donny talking about his you-know-where,
- 19:54Speaker 3: please email Donny directly. I do not want to deal
- 19:59Speaker 3: with that. If I had more time, it would be
- 20:01Speaker 3: edited out of the show, but we're in a bit
- 20:02Speaker 3: of a rush today. For all my exclusives and insider reporting,
- 20:06Speaker 3: you can check out my Substack, robshooter.substack.com, and you're not
- 20:09Speaker 3: going to believe it, Donny, I have a new book.
- 20:11Speaker 3: So I know you still want to promote the old one, Donny.
- 20:13Speaker 3: I know how generous you are. Well, now I have
- 20:15Speaker 3: a new book, Donny. See, that can be two books
- 20:17Speaker 3: of mine that you have not yet read or bought.
- 20:19Speaker 3: The first one. That was my first book. There it is.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I have it right here.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Where's it started with the whisper, sweetie? Where's that one?
- 20:24Speaker 3: Where's that book? That novel? That hit novel?
- 20:27Speaker 1: It started, it didn't start with the order online.
- 20:30Speaker 3: It didn't start with the Amazon order. So my new
- 20:33Speaker 3: book is called Queen Elizabeth III. Intriguing. Who is Queen
- 20:37Speaker 3: Elizabeth III? It's set 15 years in the future. There
- 20:40Speaker 3: is a new monarch on the throne and it's going
- 20:42Speaker 3: to surprise you who it is. It's available now. If
- 20:45Speaker 3: you can pre-order it, it really does help. And remember,
- 20:50Speaker 3: if you're going to be naughty, you got to let
- 20:53Speaker 3: me hear you. It was nice. It was nice. It's
- 20:57Speaker 3: not even nice with Rob.
