- 0:09Speaker 1: Ye spice, It's time love and love Lovello. Hello, welcome
- 0:16Speaker 1: to the Naughty but Night Share. I'm your host, Rob Shooters.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Friday morning. I have a little bit of a head
- 0:21Speaker 1: cold today, so if I have a scraspy, scratchy point
- 0:25Speaker 1: for the next twenty minutes, please forgive me and let's
- 0:28Speaker 1: jump into the show. Honestly, I don't feel bad at all.
- 0:31Speaker 1: In fact, I feel great. I just sound like I've
- 0:34Speaker 1: been up all night smoking Marlborough lights, which I promise
- 0:38Speaker 1: you I haven't. I was in bed last night by
- 0:40Speaker 1: Tenor Clark. So let's jump into a show. What time
- 0:42Speaker 1: is it? My friends? It is tea time, big story
- 0:46Speaker 1: at the top of the show, so this is something
- 0:49Speaker 1: that I really want to dig into and debate. Jlo.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Jennifer Lopez is worth about four hundred million dollars. Mark
- 0:57Speaker 1: Anthony is worth about eighty million dollars. A lot of
- 1:01Speaker 1: money there. Yet they're twins got a college scholarship. So
- 1:07Speaker 1: Jennifer is extremely proud about this milestone. Her twins got
- 1:11Speaker 1: into every single university they applied for, all five and
- 1:15Speaker 1: each received scholarship. Office but not everybody is applauding that
- 1:21Speaker 1: the superstar recently revealed that both both her kids, who
- 1:26Speaker 1: are now eighteen and were accepted to all five schools
- 1:30Speaker 1: on their list. They listed five and they got in
- 1:32Speaker 1: to five. That's brilliant. Congratulations. But according to Jennifer, they
- 1:37Speaker 1: also received scholarships. She said the following quote, I'm so
- 1:41Speaker 1: proud of them. They worked so hard and set goals
- 1:45Speaker 1: for themselves. They certainly did. You know, when you are
- 1:49Speaker 1: an eppo baby, when you have parents this wealthy, this powerful,
- 1:53Speaker 1: this privileged, you don't have to work that hard and
- 1:56Speaker 1: your life will be okay. These two did the work.
- 1:59Speaker 1: They got into these really prestigious universities. They did it
- 2:04Speaker 1: with hard work, not with their parents money or fame.
- 2:09Speaker 1: So good forward them. A lot of kids of celebrities
- 2:12Speaker 1: don't want to work very hard at all. I know
- 2:15Speaker 1: a lot of celebrity kids who think they work hard,
- 2:18Speaker 1: but they really don't. Because they've got the family's fortune
- 2:22Speaker 1: to always fall back on. They're never worried about paying
- 2:24Speaker 1: their rent. Jennifer's kids did the work. Now, the accomplishment
- 2:30Speaker 1: is undeniably impressive, but the scholarship news that has sparked
- 2:34Speaker 1: a wave of questions. Giving the enormous wealth of their parents.
- 2:41Speaker 1: They're super rich. Jennifer's fortune is estimated to be four
- 2:45Speaker 1: hundred million, while their father, Mark Anthony, is worth about
- 2:48Speaker 1: eighty million. One educator tells me, quote the minute people
- 2:54Speaker 1: here scholarship, they think financial aide. That's what I did,
- 2:58Speaker 1: and that's why this story touched a nerve. It's really
- 3:01Speaker 1: blowing up. This story is going to blow up today. Now.
- 3:04Speaker 1: To be fair, let's be fair here. Scholarships aren't always
- 3:09Speaker 1: based aren't always based on financial need. Many colleges award
- 3:15Speaker 1: merit scholarships for academics, leadership, athletes, artistic achievement, or other accomplishments,
- 3:24Speaker 1: regardless of a family's income. Still, critics say the optics
- 3:29Speaker 1: are really difficult to ignore. One inside a told me
- 3:33Speaker 1: quote there are families taking out loans, working multiple jobs,
- 3:39Speaker 1: and struggling to afford college. So when the children of
- 3:42Speaker 1: two multi millionaires receive scholarships, people naturally have questions. Now,
- 3:49Speaker 1: s the boards argue that wealth shouldn't disqualify students from
- 3:54Speaker 1: earning this recognition. They said that they met the criteria
- 3:57Speaker 1: and they earned it. A merit scholarship is a reward
- 4:01Speaker 1: for achievement, not a reflection of financial need. One thing
- 4:05Speaker 1: is certain the twins' college success. It is generating almost
- 4:10Speaker 1: as much attention as their famous parents. The debate is
- 4:14Speaker 1: an over whether they deserve admission. No, it's not over
- 4:18Speaker 1: that at all. It's where the scholarship dollars should follow privilege.
- 4:22Speaker 1: What do you think about this? It's a fascinating subject.
- 4:26Speaker 1: When I went to school in Britain, I went to
- 4:28Speaker 1: the University of Edinburgh, thank you very much. I got
- 4:30Speaker 1: a master's degree. A master's degree in political science. Took
- 4:33Speaker 1: me four years totally free. In Britain if you get
- 4:37Speaker 1: into the universities are hard to get into, but if
- 4:39Speaker 1: you pass those exams, tuition's free. Now accommodation that's really expensive,
- 4:44Speaker 1: and my parents, my parents helped me out. I couldn't
- 4:47Speaker 1: have gone without my mum and dad's money, and they
- 4:50Speaker 1: did not have a lot of money. They took out
- 4:52Speaker 1: a small loan, not so small, actually quite a big
- 4:54Speaker 1: loan to send me to university and I will be
- 4:57Speaker 1: forever grateful. I also, too, got two jobs at university.
- 5:03Speaker 1: One was in a sports shop. Can you imagine me
- 5:05Speaker 1: in a sports shop. I knew nothing about any of
- 5:08Speaker 1: the sports, but I worked there every Friday and Saturday.
- 5:12Speaker 1: And I also got a job in the theater, the
- 5:14Speaker 1: theater in Edinburgh, the Edinburgh Playhouse. I got a job
- 5:17Speaker 1: there selling ice creams, being a bartender, being an ussuer.
- 5:20Speaker 1: That's actually how I met Bruce. So it was a
- 5:21Speaker 1: wonderful connection. But I worked. I had to. I had friends,
- 5:25Speaker 1: rich friends who didn't have to work at university. It
- 5:28Speaker 1: was one great time for them. They worked really hard
- 5:31Speaker 1: on this, that is, but they didn't have to have
- 5:32Speaker 1: traditional jobs to pay at the rent. I did. So
- 5:36Speaker 1: when I heard this, I was like, oh gosh, this
- 5:39Speaker 1: is gonna be big, and it is. This is really
- 5:41Speaker 1: exploding here. And now nobody blames the twins for this.
- 5:44Speaker 1: People blame the system. They did nothing wrong, they did
- 5:47Speaker 1: nothing illegal. They're not they're not being shady here. They're
- 5:51Speaker 1: not gaming the system. This is the system and they
- 5:54Speaker 1: applied for it and they got it despite the fact
- 5:57Speaker 1: that their mom and dad are multimillionaires, which brings us
- 6:00Speaker 1: to our pole question of the day. Jay Loo's worth
- 6:02Speaker 1: about four hundred million. Once again, Mark Anthony worth about
- 6:05Speaker 1: eighty million. That's a lot of money. Should their twins
- 6:09Speaker 1: get college scholarships? What do you think? It's that tough?
- 6:13Speaker 1: One isn't it Hey? Go vote on our exat twinter
- 6:16Speaker 1: page and Naughty Knight rob Our facebook page is Naughty
- 6:20Speaker 1: Gossip and be sure to check back on Monday. Hopefully
- 6:24Speaker 1: by then I will be able to talk properly, So
- 6:27Speaker 1: sir rasby today, be sure to check back on Monday
- 6:31Speaker 1: to hear your results again. Moving along another controversial story today,
- 6:36Speaker 1: Cavey Hilton, Cavey Hilton, That's Paris's Mommy, the real housewife
- 6:39Speaker 1: of Beverly Hills, has dropped out of a Pride parade
- 6:43Speaker 1: after her connections to Donald Trump and a anti gay
- 6:47Speaker 1: slur is now being discussed again. So Kathy has withdrawn
- 6:51Speaker 1: from West Hollywood Pride after fierce backlash from LGBTQ plus
- 6:56Speaker 1: activists over her ties to Donald Trump and has allegations
- 7:01Speaker 1: that she used a homophobic slur. Hilton has the name
- 7:06Speaker 1: was named the Grand Marshal for Sender's Prayed, but organizers
- 7:10Speaker 1: announced the honour would be scrapped following complaints from the
- 7:14Speaker 1: community they listened to. The community critics pointed out that
- 7:18Speaker 1: Kathy has had many appearances at Mari Laga and has
- 7:21Speaker 1: a very tight friendship with President Trump, whose administration has
- 7:25Speaker 1: faced criticism over their policies towards LGBTQ plus communities. They
- 7:32Speaker 1: faced a lot of criticism. Now others have revived allegations
- 7:36Speaker 1: made by Erika jay In during a twenty twenty two
- 7:39Speaker 1: Real Housewife of Beverly Hills reunion. She said that Kathy
- 7:43Speaker 1: used a Geisler during a cast trip. Now, Kathy denied
- 7:47Speaker 1: this brother did an investigation the city she said. She
- 7:51Speaker 1: said they never really made a decision about this. So
- 7:54Speaker 1: in a statement, Kathy said she respects the decision and
- 7:57Speaker 1: she remains committed to supporting LGBTQ plus causes. So this controversy,
- 8:03Speaker 1: it highlights the growing divide over who gets to represent
- 8:07Speaker 1: Pride and whether celebrities support is enough when questions about
- 8:12Speaker 1: past actions and political associations remain unresolved. Tricky. I actually
- 8:20Speaker 1: rode in West Hollywood Gay Pride with Paris Hilton over
- 8:24Speaker 1: twenty years ago. Paris was the Grand Marshal and I
- 8:27Speaker 1: sat next to her on the float. Behind us was
- 8:30Speaker 1: her mum, Kathy. Kathy always wants to be the center
- 8:34Speaker 1: of attention. She always wants to be the person in
- 8:37Speaker 1: the spotlight. So to get to host this herself after
- 8:39Speaker 1: twenty years watching a door to do it really being
- 8:42Speaker 1: in the shadow of Paris. I imagine Kathy was thrilled
- 8:45Speaker 1: about this. However, Kathy is complicated, and so this is
- 8:50Speaker 1: where we have to really think about this. Who represents Pride?
- 8:55Speaker 1: Do we want straight people to represent Pride? Do we
- 8:58Speaker 1: want gay people? Do we want people who support LGBDQ
- 9:03Speaker 1: polysis in government? We try not to be political on
- 9:07Speaker 1: the show, but let's remember the very first Pride at Stonewall.
- 9:11Speaker 1: It was a political riot. It was not a gathering
- 9:17Speaker 1: of people marching down Fifth Avenue. It was a riot
- 9:20Speaker 1: outside Stonewall where the gay community, primarily headed up by
- 9:25Speaker 1: the trans community, said enough. The police kept raiding Stonewall
- 9:29Speaker 1: and one night the community fought back and that's what
- 9:32Speaker 1: started Pride. And so Cathy here, she's got a lot
- 9:37Speaker 1: of explaining to do. I think she's handled it gracefully.
- 9:41Speaker 1: She knows too that her participation has become a distraction,
- 9:46Speaker 1: has become something that isn't good. So she stepped aside
- 9:49Speaker 1: and Pride will go on. I'm sure it'll do just
- 9:52Speaker 1: fine without a Hilton. Okay, moving along, William and Kate
- 9:57Speaker 1: are going to skip the World Cup final, at least
- 10:01Speaker 1: for now. So William and Kate are not currently planning
- 10:04Speaker 1: on attending the FIFA World Cup Final in New York.
- 10:08Speaker 1: It's going to be next month month, despite speculations. So
- 10:11Speaker 1: a lot of people are saying, oh my goodness, they're
- 10:13Speaker 1: going to be here. My sources saying no, that is
- 10:15Speaker 1: very unlikely. They have no plans. Royal insiders even tell
- 10:18Speaker 1: me they didn't get an invitation. Nobody actually invited them,
- 10:22Speaker 1: so making the trip very unlikely at this stage. The
- 10:26Speaker 1: decision is said to be also influenced by Kate's ongoing
- 10:30Speaker 1: recovery and carefully managed return to public duties following her
- 10:35Speaker 1: cancer battle. Still inside the stress, the door is open
- 10:39Speaker 1: if England reaches the final at New Jersey's met Life Stadium,
- 10:45Speaker 1: many expect that William William will make the trip. Come on,
- 10:49Speaker 1: if England get into the finals, will William be able
- 10:52Speaker 1: to not go to that? I don't know. Kate's attendance
- 10:57Speaker 1: is considerably less certain, though he'll probably come by himself,
- 11:00Speaker 1: while any appearance by their children would depend on scheduling
- 11:05Speaker 1: and security consideration. So I'm told there's no way the
- 11:08Speaker 1: kids are coming, Probably probably no way Kate's coming. Let's
- 11:11Speaker 1: be honest, that's not gonna happen, William. If they do
- 11:14Speaker 1: reach the finals, if England's in the World Cup finals,
- 11:18Speaker 1: his friend David Beckham is going to be there. Harry
- 11:21Speaker 1: will not be there carrying David Beckham fall out. So
- 11:23Speaker 1: there's no way FIFA is going to pick Harry over
- 11:26Speaker 1: David Beckham. And so maybe at the moment, at the moment,
- 11:30Speaker 1: it's a no. But as one insider, one royal insider
- 11:32Speaker 1: told me late last night, never say never. Chris Hemshoorth,
- 11:37Speaker 1: this story made me laugh. His family vacation got derailed
- 11:41Speaker 1: by an embarrassing passport blunder. So even though god argue
- 11:45Speaker 1: their way past airport security, this is not a nightclub,
- 11:48Speaker 1: it's airport security. They cannot you can't. You can't get
- 11:52Speaker 1: in without the right documentation, even if the whole world
- 11:55Speaker 1: knows who you are. So Chris revealed that he was
- 11:58Speaker 1: traveling with his wife and their children and they were
- 12:00Speaker 1: denied boarding an international flight after he accidentally brought the
- 12:04Speaker 1: wrong passport to the airport. The actor admitted he grabbed
- 12:09Speaker 1: his daughter's passport instead of the one belonging to his
- 12:12Speaker 1: twin sons, and when he got there, he tried to
- 12:15Speaker 1: convinced security that the children match. They said no, no, no, no, no,
- 12:20Speaker 1: they did not match. This is your daughter's passport. That's
- 12:23Speaker 1: a boy. He said, yeah. It didn't work, so the
- 12:26Speaker 1: travel mishaped left the family grounded, proving that even one
- 12:30Speaker 1: of Hollywood's biggest stars isn't a mune to a classic
- 12:34Speaker 1: parenting mistake. You rush out the house so faster you
- 12:37Speaker 1: you don't check the stuff. But no, they didn't let
- 12:39Speaker 1: him on the plane. Good news. They went home, they
- 12:42Speaker 1: got the right passport, and now they are on vacation. Okay,
- 12:45Speaker 1: quickly before we get a break. While I still have
- 12:47Speaker 1: a little bit of a voice. Andy Cohen's a new man.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Let me tell you all about Kevin So. Andy was
- 12:52Speaker 1: spotted holding hands with Kevin during a birthday outing. It
- 12:56Speaker 1: was his birthday in New York and he spent his
- 12:57Speaker 1: birthday with Kevin and some friends. They was boty together.
- 13:00Speaker 1: He's a Harvard Business School graduate, very smart, and he's
- 13:04Speaker 1: currently working on a ton of investment stuff, so he's
- 13:06Speaker 1: like a business man. He's no stranger to the spotlight.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Kevin previously dated Grammy Award winning songwriter Benji Passick. You
- 13:15Speaker 1: know him from La La land from the Greatest Showman.
- 13:19Speaker 1: He has an oscar one of the most successful songwriters
- 13:24Speaker 1: alive today, a big star in the Broadway community, not
- 13:27Speaker 1: a star like Andy, not a tabloid star. Benji is Gray.
- 13:30Speaker 1: I know him a little bit adorable. He's fantastic, but
- 13:33Speaker 1: he's not an Andy Klohin star. But he is famous
- 13:35Speaker 1: and Andy Cohen definitely, definitely is part of that Broadway world.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Whenever I go to an opening night at Carnegie Hall,
- 13:42Speaker 1: I often bumped into Andy Cohen. He has a ton
- 13:45Speaker 1: of friends, including his best friend Benjamin Hickey, who is
- 13:49Speaker 1: a director in the theater and an actor, so he
- 13:51Speaker 1: knows this world. So that's how he met Kevin through
- 13:54Speaker 1: mutual friends. They get along really well. My sources tell
- 13:57Speaker 1: me that Andy has already introduced him, introduced him to
- 14:01Speaker 1: some of his really really famous friends. Kevin's met Sarah
- 14:04Speaker 1: Jessica Parker, He's met Kelly Ripper, He's met Anderson Cooper,
- 14:08Speaker 1: and they all really like him. They're a little bit
- 14:10Speaker 1: skeptical at the minute. It's new. They don't want Andy
- 14:13Speaker 1: to be heard. And he's not had a very good
- 14:16Speaker 1: dating paths. He's often dated people much younger than himself.
- 14:20Speaker 1: And let's be honest. Kevin is sixteen years younger than Andy,
- 14:23Speaker 1: but they seem to fit together. He's not involved in
- 14:26Speaker 1: show business. He makes his own money and so he
- 14:29Speaker 1: can pay his own way. He doesn't have Andy money,
- 14:31Speaker 1: but he has a lot of money. Their only concern
- 14:35Speaker 1: is is he a star? Effer? We don't say that
- 14:37Speaker 1: word on the show, but you know what I mean.
- 14:40Speaker 1: He's dated someone famous before. Is this somebody who only
- 14:43Speaker 1: wants to date famous gay guys? Ooh? That makes people
- 14:47Speaker 1: a little bit nervous. But he's all coming from a
- 14:48Speaker 1: good place. They love Andy. They want Andy to settle down.
- 14:52Speaker 1: He has the kids now. They want him to have
- 14:54Speaker 1: the lovely husband. He certainly has the great life, all
- 14:59Speaker 1: that Andy won that he doesn't have. He's spoken about
- 15:01Speaker 1: this as a relationship. He'd love to have a relationship.
- 15:03Speaker 1: But he's difficult. He's not an easy person. I've known
- 15:06Speaker 1: him for twenty years. He is not easy. But fingers crusted.
- 15:09Speaker 1: I hope this works out beautifully. Okay, we're going to
- 15:12Speaker 1: take a quick break and we'll be right back. Welcome
- 15:16Speaker 1: back to then Naughdy, But Nisha, I'm your house dump
- 15:18Speaker 1: true to hey, Let's get to the polls DA. Last
- 15:21Speaker 1: year we talked about Princess Diana. There's a new letter
- 15:24Speaker 1: that has been revealed that she said that she wants
- 15:26Speaker 1: her sons to have a strong and meaningful bond. They're
- 15:30Speaker 1: currently estranged. With this hurt her our. Ninety four percent
- 15:33Speaker 1: said yes, Diana wanted these two to look after each other,
- 15:36Speaker 1: to be there for one another, to be allies in
- 15:39Speaker 1: a world that was so difficult. Within the palace, these
- 15:42Speaker 1: two had one another, or at least that's what she hoped.
- 15:45Speaker 1: That is not the case. I think should be really
- 15:47Speaker 1: hurt by this too. Hey, don't forget to vote on
- 15:51Speaker 1: today's pole good a page at Naughty Knights, rob a
- 15:54Speaker 1: Facebook page Lordy Gossip, and be sure to check back
- 15:58Speaker 1: on Manday to hear your results. And now Mom's diver.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Nicest of the day, Oh and Noisies of the day
- 16:06Speaker 1: is Richie Sambora, who brought down the house with a
- 16:09Speaker 1: bon Jovi classic at his daughter's wedding. Richie turned his
- 16:13Speaker 1: daughter's wedding into a rock concert when he grabbed a
- 16:16Speaker 1: microphone and he belt it out bon Jovi's signature hit
- 16:20Speaker 1: I Love It, Living on a Prayer. The former guitararist
- 16:24Speaker 1: for the band, performed the nineteen eighty six anthem during
- 16:28Speaker 1: Avera's wedding reception, with the bride and groom singing and
- 16:31Speaker 1: dancing along. Guest Camped captured the emotional moment, while proud
- 16:36Speaker 1: mom Heather Luckier Descare declared it was just beautiful. It
- 16:40Speaker 1: was just the magical moment. Now the performance carries extra
- 16:44Speaker 1: meaning because Richie left bon Jovi over a decade ago
- 16:48Speaker 1: in twenty thirteen after three decades with the band. I
- 16:52Speaker 1: used to work for bon Jovi, believe it or not,
- 16:54Speaker 1: so twenty years ago. I was the band's publicist. I
- 16:56Speaker 1: traveled all over with them on their private plane. John
- 16:59Speaker 1: and Richie never gone along. They just never ever clicked.
- 17:02Speaker 1: There was always tension, there was always difficulty. I was
- 17:05Speaker 1: on the private playe ones with Heather and aver and
- 17:08Speaker 1: Richie and John, and it was tricky. They didn't really
- 17:12Speaker 1: speak to each other very much. John had to be
- 17:14Speaker 1: the center of attention. I think Heather's fame gone on
- 17:17Speaker 1: his nerves and so they were never that close. But
- 17:20Speaker 1: my goodness, they made incredible music, incredible music together. Okay,
- 17:27Speaker 1: let's move on to our naughty is the day Naughty naughty, naughty.
- 17:30Speaker 1: I noticed the day Sharon Stone's husband, after she reed,
- 17:34Speaker 1: revealed the awful moment when her marriage ended and he
- 17:38Speaker 1: just walked out. Sharon Stone is saying that her marriage
- 17:41Speaker 1: ended after a terrifying health scare. The actress reveals the
- 17:46Speaker 1: doctors discovered a large breast tumor and warned she might
- 17:50Speaker 1: need a double missectomy. She agreed to the surgery, but
- 17:54Speaker 1: her husband's reaction was fury. He was really angry, she
- 17:58Speaker 1: said the following he said, quote this is ridiculous, and
- 18:01Speaker 1: he walked out. She says her husband was so upset
- 18:06Speaker 1: at the possibility of her losing her breasts that he
- 18:09Speaker 1: didn't even think about the risk of her losing her life. Ouch.
- 18:13Speaker 1: She added that was the end of the marriage. I
- 18:16Speaker 1: would say, how a heartbreaking. I've always thought we talk
- 18:20Speaker 1: about it on the show. During the good times, it's
- 18:22Speaker 1: easy to be in love, to be best friends, to
- 18:25Speaker 1: be best powells. It's during the hard times that's when
- 18:28Speaker 1: you know, if you can rely on somebody, that's when
- 18:31Speaker 1: you know it's real. I can't think of anything worse
- 18:34Speaker 1: than being diagnosed with cancer and your partner walks out,
- 18:38Speaker 1: ouch and nought. She is the day. Let's end with
- 18:40Speaker 1: a moment of rob. You get a Rob, your a
- 18:42Speaker 1: rub you Rob. Stop blaming the cards and just start
- 18:45Speaker 1: playing them. Life isn't fair. Some people have dealt a
- 18:48Speaker 1: better hand than others. It's just the fact you may
- 18:52Speaker 1: you may have faced bad luck or bad circumstances. It
- 18:56Speaker 1: doesn't matter. You gotta play the cards you've got. Complaining
- 19:00Speaker 1: about the cards you're holding you won't change them. Blaming
- 19:04Speaker 1: your past won't improve your future. The only thing that
- 19:07Speaker 1: matters is what you do next. Successful people don't wait
- 19:11Speaker 1: for perfect conditions. They work with what they have and
