- 0:08Speaker 1: Scrible advice. Shoot spell, Welcome to the not even Nice Show.
- 0:17Speaker 1: I'm your house, stop Shooter. It's Monday, which means my
- 0:20Speaker 1: dear friend Garrett Vocal is with us. Hey, Garrett, are
- 0:22Speaker 1: you there? Step aside, Rob Shooter. I am here to
- 0:25Speaker 1: kick off the week, step aside. I will indeed, my
- 0:29Speaker 1: friend listen. I have a little bit of a cold today.
- 0:32Speaker 1: It's not COVID. I did my test, but I have
- 0:34Speaker 1: a little bit of a coals if a bit croaky.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Stay with me. At what time is it you need?
- 0:41Speaker 1: It's tea time you need a little honey. Oh I
- 0:43Speaker 1: do need a little honey in my tea, Garrett. It's
- 0:45Speaker 1: a really good idea. I'm here. That's why I'm here.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Thank you here for many many reasons. So a fake
- 0:50Speaker 1: story at the top of the show was going to happen.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Sooner or later. Somebody asked a Rod about Jennifer Lopez
- 0:56Speaker 1: marrying Ben Affleck. He was a gentleman about and said,
- 1:00Speaker 1: I wish them the very best. That's it. So he
- 1:04Speaker 1: appeared on a new show Who's Talking to Chris Wallace,
- 1:09Speaker 1: which I don't think it's actually doing that well in
- 1:11Speaker 1: the ratings. That's beside the point. But Max, when I
- 1:16Speaker 1: think HBO, Max, I don't think Chris wall I don't
- 1:19Speaker 1: think it is a well. So Chris grilled him about
- 1:22Speaker 1: many many things, but the one that we care about
- 1:24Speaker 1: because of the sort of show we are is Jennifer Lepis.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Now they were engaged. Remember that they were engaged to
- 1:30Speaker 1: get married. They were going to get married in twenty
- 1:32Speaker 1: twenty one. They were together for four years, then she
- 1:36Speaker 1: quickly moved on to Ben Affleck and those two are
- 1:39Speaker 1: now married. So it's asked about it, and he said, honestly,
- 1:42Speaker 1: does it bother you? So he was asked the following, honestly,
- 1:46Speaker 1: does it bother you that within days after you broke
- 1:48Speaker 1: up she was back with Ben Affleck. That's quite a question,
- 1:52Speaker 1: and he said, this is the response. Weller, Jennifer, look,
- 1:57Speaker 1: it was a good experience, m and I wish her
- 2:02Speaker 1: and the children that's nice, the very who are very
- 2:04Speaker 1: smart and beautiful. I'm wonderful. I wish them all the best.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Chris Wallace responded by saying, that's it. And he said
- 2:12Speaker 1: that's it. Do Let's let's read a little bit more
- 2:17Speaker 1: into this. So as the story went, first off, Rob Shooter,
- 2:20Speaker 1: but when when j Lo and a Rod got engaged,
- 2:23Speaker 1: you were one of the first to say that they
- 2:25Speaker 1: would not be walking down the aisle, and you were
- 2:29Speaker 1: very true on that point. Second, the rumor of a
- 2:32Speaker 1: Rad the reason why the relationship ended, A Rod was
- 2:35Speaker 1: a little you know, curious with other females. You know,
- 2:39Speaker 1: very adam n you know, um so. So the only
- 2:43Speaker 1: way to play this is the if he went the
- 2:48Speaker 1: I she's the one that got away, Like you have
- 2:51Speaker 1: to you have to be the nice guy. You have
- 2:52Speaker 1: to be the nice guy. Yea, you can't say you know,
- 2:55Speaker 1: I'm furious about this, and I also think it's really clever.
- 2:58Speaker 1: It's a bit of a PR trick. So before I
- 3:00Speaker 1: was a fabulous gossip columnist and doing podcast and all
- 3:03Speaker 1: the stuff, I was a publicist. So I know a
- 3:05Speaker 1: PR statement when I see one, and when every throw it,
- 3:10Speaker 1: I know I looked at it like a eaglize. I'm
- 3:11Speaker 1: still a publicist at heart, you know, I'm a good publicist.
- 3:14Speaker 1: I don't do it anymore, but I still know what
- 3:15Speaker 1: they're doing. That's probably why I'm a good gossip columns
- 3:17Speaker 1: because I know all these statements. Whenever you throw in
- 3:20Speaker 1: the children, you win. There because it shuts everything down.
- 3:22Speaker 1: The minute he wished her children the best. Now you've
- 3:26Speaker 1: got to approach that very differently. It would be easy
- 3:29Speaker 1: about a nice guy, and we look like not nice
- 3:32Speaker 1: guys if we talk about him that because now we're
- 3:34Speaker 1: talking about children, which we can suff next story. You
- 3:40Speaker 1: gotta do the next would you mention children? If I
- 3:43Speaker 1: follow up on that, then I'm a bad guys. You
- 3:45Speaker 1: have to be very, very careful. So a run, you know,
- 3:48Speaker 1: nicely played is that I think they see it in
- 3:50Speaker 1: the land of baseball. What would be a baseball equivalent?
- 3:53Speaker 1: This is a home run I well know home run
- 3:56Speaker 1: would be if he actually married Jennifer. He's safely got
- 4:00Speaker 1: to first. He safely got out of this. He's definitely
- 4:02Speaker 1: got Chris Wallace. I love you these cheeky questions. Chris
- 4:06Speaker 1: Wallace is like an older Andy Cohen, isn't it. It's
- 4:08Speaker 1: a cheeky little devil. We'll gets away with stuff he is.
- 4:11Speaker 1: I mean, but I'm used to Chris Wallace coming what's
- 4:13Speaker 1: going on between the left and right side politics and down? Well,
- 4:19Speaker 1: I'm glad, Chris, you finally found the real news. The
- 4:22Speaker 1: news week cover dare brings us to our pole question
- 4:25Speaker 1: the day A Rod spoke about jay Lo Marian ban
- 4:28Speaker 1: Affleck and said, I wish them the very best? Hey,
- 4:31Speaker 1: do you believe him were so naughty? Here? Do you
- 4:34Speaker 1: think a Rod really does wish Jennifer and then the best?
- 4:37Speaker 1: I want to know? Go vote on our Twitter page
- 4:40Speaker 1: at naughty nice Rob, But facebook page is noughty els
- 4:43Speaker 1: him and me. Sure to check back Tema Rose here
- 4:47Speaker 1: your results. Take Garrett Love, what are you working on?
- 4:49Speaker 1: The Rob? Sit back for a story. Let me take
- 4:51Speaker 1: this one and you rest the voice. So as we
- 4:55Speaker 1: know a few about a year and change ago, Scooter
- 4:58Speaker 1: Braun bought a record label, Big Machine Records, who was
- 5:02Speaker 1: also had the rights to Taylor Swift's music. Now, Taylor
- 5:05Speaker 1: Swift has moved on from that management company, but that
- 5:08Speaker 1: management company still owned all of Taylor swift songs, hence
- 5:11Speaker 1: why she's re recording. So when scootle Braun and his
- 5:14Speaker 1: company bought this, all of Taylor Swift fans were furious,
- 5:18Speaker 1: including Taylor saying this is uncalled for worthy, He's going
- 5:22Speaker 1: to ruin my music. He's a bully blah blah blah
- 5:25Speaker 1: blah blah. So now two years later, Scooter Braun, who
- 5:29Speaker 1: has gone through a lot over the last year. I
- 5:30Speaker 1: sat down with his best friend Jay Williams, who has
- 5:33Speaker 1: a podcast, and he opened up and toes, I learned
- 5:35Speaker 1: an important lesson from from this. Uh So, you know obviously,
- 5:40Speaker 1: uh Taylor Win public with the frustration when Scooter Braun
- 5:44Speaker 1: and his label bought her rights, claiming she was previously
- 5:47Speaker 1: blocked from trying to buy the Masters. And this is
- 5:50Speaker 1: what Scooter said. I was under a very strict indie,
- 5:53Speaker 1: a nondisclosure agreement with the gentleman who owned it, and
- 5:56Speaker 1: I couldn't tell any artist, even Taylor Swift. I wasn't
- 6:00Speaker 1: allowed to. I wasn't legally allowed to um so, which
- 6:03Speaker 1: which is interesting because we didn't tend to think of it.
- 6:05Speaker 1: We just thought screw Brown was coming into it going
- 6:08Speaker 1: I'm going to screw up correct. So I was excited
- 6:12Speaker 1: to work with every artist on the label. So when
- 6:14Speaker 1: we finalized the deal, I started making phone calls to say, hey,
- 6:17Speaker 1: I'm a part of this. And before I could even
- 6:19Speaker 1: do that, I made four phone calls and all help
- 6:21Speaker 1: broke loose. As we've learned. Uh So, he goes, I
- 6:24Speaker 1: regret that I have. So the regret I have is
- 6:27Speaker 1: that I've made the assumption that everyone was going to
- 6:29Speaker 1: have a conversation with me, see my intent, see my character,
- 6:32Speaker 1: and say great, let's uh let's be in business together.
- 6:35Speaker 1: And I made the assumption with people that I didn't know. No,
- 6:38Speaker 1: So it's so it's interesting. I mean, as we know,
- 6:42Speaker 1: Screw Lebron, Reps, Justin Bieber are on a Grande Demilovado,
- 6:46Speaker 1: J Balvin, the works pretty much BTS UM. So he
- 6:50Speaker 1: ended up selling Big Machine two years later after the mess,
- 6:53Speaker 1: made a hell of a lot of money, and then
- 6:55Speaker 1: he put that towards buying the BTS label. UM. And
- 6:58Speaker 1: But but here's the thing. We don't know if tel
- 7:00Speaker 1: Swift is going to forgive it forgive screw le Bron
- 7:03Speaker 1: and uh Mr Borchetta, who was the other gentleman who
- 7:07Speaker 1: previously on the label. I don't think so. But as
- 7:10Speaker 1: we know, Tellor Swift rerecording all her albums so she
- 7:13Speaker 1: could have ownership of her music. Yeah, I mean, there
- 7:16Speaker 1: are the both winners here. Taylor's rerecording her albums and
- 7:19Speaker 1: they're doing incredibly well, so she's making a ton of
- 7:21Speaker 1: money there. So she's basically getting back all all her
- 7:24Speaker 1: masters because she's recreating new ones. Scooter has sold the
- 7:27Speaker 1: label already and made hundreds of millions of dollars, so
- 7:29Speaker 1: he went to So don't get too concerned about anybody here.
- 7:32Speaker 1: But there is a lesson in this, isn't there Schoolers
- 7:34Speaker 1: should have known better. I think, like it's awfully sweet,
- 7:37Speaker 1: but maybe a little naive to think you can just
- 7:40Speaker 1: turn up and own somebody's catalog, their life work and
- 7:43Speaker 1: not talk to them about it beforehand. But at the
- 7:46Speaker 1: same time he was under confidentiality clause so he couldn't
- 7:50Speaker 1: talk about it. The assumption here, and I think Scooter
- 7:52Speaker 1: is right, is the mistake is the assumption. Don't assume
- 7:57Speaker 1: that everybody wants you to own part of them without
- 8:01Speaker 1: a talk about it. Like if you think about it,
- 8:03Speaker 1: just in our own lives, when we get a new boss,
- 8:05Speaker 1: it's really scary. You don't want necessarily somebody else coming in,
- 8:10Speaker 1: and it's silly to assume that when you walk in,
- 8:13Speaker 1: everyone's going to imbrace you. This has happened to me. Yeah,
- 8:15Speaker 1: I was given a job at a magazine, so when
- 8:18Speaker 1: I no longer wanted to do publicity, Okay, magazine had
- 8:21Speaker 1: launched in America and they offered me the executive editor job.
- 8:24Speaker 1: I just assumed Garrett I would walk in and there'd
- 8:27Speaker 1: be a red carpet and flowers and for it was
- 8:29Speaker 1: the first time, really in my life there I say
- 8:32Speaker 1: that I turned up at a job that didn't want me,
- 8:36Speaker 1: and I didn't quite know how to deal with it.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Like every other job I've had, been an intern or
- 8:41Speaker 1: an assistant, or a junior publicist or a publicist, I've
- 8:45Speaker 1: worked my way up into that field, and so when
- 8:47Speaker 1: I got the promotion, it felt quite natural. But to
- 8:50Speaker 1: just to change careers in in the middle of my
- 8:53Speaker 1: career was something that a lot of people at the
- 8:56Speaker 1: magazine world didn't like. And I really had to prove myself,
- 9:01Speaker 1: and I realized that I've made a terrible mistake, not
- 9:04Speaker 1: excepting the job, but assuming they were gonna want me,
- 9:07Speaker 1: they didn't want me to It really really hard to
- 9:10Speaker 1: prove myself. What about you, gars, Have you ever walked
- 9:12Speaker 1: into a job where they didn't want you? Oh, well,
- 9:15Speaker 1: this is the only job that I know of almost
- 9:19Speaker 1: twenty years. Yeah, straight out of high school and they
- 9:22Speaker 1: want you. Then when you walking straight out of high school,
- 9:24Speaker 1: they love you. Everyone's kind to you. And then you
- 9:26Speaker 1: stayed around. Yeah, no, And and I think the thing
- 9:30Speaker 1: that people get caught up when is once you get comfortable,
- 9:33Speaker 1: then that's where like I've always been wanting to look
- 9:36Speaker 1: over my shoulder because uh, you know, the next person's
- 9:40Speaker 1: right there. So if you get comfortable and complacent, then
- 9:42Speaker 1: that's when you kind of lose that focus of doing
- 9:45Speaker 1: your job. And and so so yeah, I've been I've
- 9:48Speaker 1: been very fortunate, but also very awake in the sense of, uh,
- 9:52Speaker 1: you know, hey, who what footsteps are coming behind my back.
- 9:56Speaker 1: As as for a Scooter bron though, the one thing
- 9:59Speaker 1: I would in my eyes that he made the mistake. Yes,
- 10:03Speaker 1: legally he couldn't talk to anybody, but you would think
- 10:06Speaker 1: the magnitude of the superstar of Tylor Swift, you would
- 10:09Speaker 1: find a way to go, Hey, listen, I would love
- 10:12Speaker 1: to sit down real quick and talk. She doesn't she
- 10:14Speaker 1: doesn't know what you're about to talk about, so she
- 10:16Speaker 1: could be open to anything at that point. And that's
- 10:18Speaker 1: where you have the conversation because at the end of
- 10:20Speaker 1: the day, I mean, talk about it, guys, talk about
- 10:23Speaker 1: it with everything, with your with your partners, with your
- 10:25Speaker 1: friends in life. Talk about stuff. And now I'm not
- 10:27Speaker 1: telling you to break an n d Ac Robert wouldn't
- 10:30Speaker 1: want you to break the law. But the more you
- 10:32Speaker 1: talk about stuff in life, I think the better. Is Hey?
- 10:35Speaker 1: Moving along? List a new portrait at by the Palace
- 10:37Speaker 1: King Charles, Camilla, William and Kate and they make the castle. Rob,
- 10:41Speaker 1: Are you finally in there your portraits? I'm gonna get
- 10:46Speaker 1: in that picture. They didn't want us, but it's the
- 10:48Speaker 1: four of them and it contains a very rare look
- 10:51Speaker 1: of p d A. So a new portrait has been
- 10:54Speaker 1: released by the Palace. It was actually taken the night
- 10:57Speaker 1: before the Queen's state funeral, according to a press release.
- 11:01Speaker 1: So PDA is normally not really approved of the royals,
- 11:04Speaker 1: but here in this picture we do see them at
- 11:06Speaker 1: least touching. They're holding hands, they're touching each other's arms.
- 11:10Speaker 1: It's really quite sweet. I think this is going to
- 11:12Speaker 1: be a new look for the Palace. Do I think
- 11:13Speaker 1: we're going to see them making out Kim Kardashian style
- 11:17Speaker 1: or should I say Courtney Kardashian and Travis No, and
- 11:20Speaker 1: then we're gonna see that. But I think we're gonna
- 11:22Speaker 1: see a little bit more Charles and I could be
- 11:24Speaker 1: sitting at the drums set. But I like this a
- 11:28Speaker 1: little bit more affection. And some people are saying it's
- 11:30Speaker 1: a snumb. Harry and Megan are not in this picture.
- 11:33Speaker 1: But we've got to get you over that now, breaking
- 11:36Speaker 1: it down. Thegan decided to leave. They've left. It's over.
- 11:40Speaker 1: It's like China. See Victoria Beckham in the Spy Skills reunion.
- 11:43Speaker 1: She's not there. Just In Timber, Yeah, it's not. He
- 11:46Speaker 1: doesn't want to be in years spicy, doesn't I love?
- 11:49Speaker 1: But she's she's gone. You have to say she's gone.
- 11:51Speaker 1: The same with him, sinc Justin's how dare you? How
- 11:54Speaker 1: dare not coming back? They went on hiatus back all right,
- 11:59Speaker 1: and they will will be back. So we have to
- 12:02Speaker 1: get used to now. This is the royal family. It's
- 12:05Speaker 1: those four. He wants to keep it small. I think
- 12:08Speaker 1: that's smart. He wants to keep a lid on the finances.
- 12:11Speaker 1: I think that's smart. This is the four and I'm
- 12:14Speaker 1: here for it. I looked at that picture and I said,
- 12:16Speaker 1: level level, l you look fantastic. How do you feel
- 12:19Speaker 1: about it? You still miss Harry and the photographs? Have
- 12:22Speaker 1: you moved on? I think I've moved on. I'm not
- 12:25Speaker 1: one of I'm offending like it is what it is
- 12:28Speaker 1: at this point, like you gotta get used to it,
- 12:30Speaker 1: gotta get used to change, just like a rod had
- 12:33Speaker 1: to get used to seeing Jennifer Lopez with Ben eff
- 12:35Speaker 1: used to it. He does. But here, when you say portrait,
- 12:39Speaker 1: I think they said for a painting. But it's the
- 12:41Speaker 1: thing is different from a photograph. But you can still say,
- 12:45Speaker 1: like a portrait, I think of a photograph. Yeah, they
- 12:47Speaker 1: didn't have a painting, but that would have been a
- 12:48Speaker 1: very royal thing to do. But I think it takes
- 12:50Speaker 1: a little longer. Well, you would think they would be
- 12:53Speaker 1: pretty quick. At this point, I start painting by numbers.
- 12:56Speaker 1: It's not imagine how awkward that would be painting and
- 12:59Speaker 1: Harry to sit there. From that painting does click. Hey,
- 13:05Speaker 1: let's going on. Let's talk about some love Trevor now,
- 13:08Speaker 1: but not not leaving the world of love. Let's see
- 13:10Speaker 1: up to that. Yeah, that's right. So Trevor Trevor Noah
- 13:13Speaker 1: of course of The Daily Show, just announced last week
- 13:15Speaker 1: that he was going to be leaving The Daily Show.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Doesn't know when, but just put it out there and
- 13:20Speaker 1: he'll let us know when he's leaving. So how does
- 13:22Speaker 1: he how does he celebrate this, uh, this new part
- 13:25Speaker 1: of his life. He he goes out on a date
- 13:27Speaker 1: with the biggest pop star in the world. So they
- 13:30Speaker 1: grabbed some dinner at Miss Lily's, a Jamaican restaurant on
- 13:33Speaker 1: the Lower East Side of Manhattan. And here's the thing
- 13:37Speaker 1: they were. No one's talking about their dinner or the
- 13:39Speaker 1: fact that they sat and probably had great conversation. Everyone's
- 13:43Speaker 1: talking about the kiss in the street before they went
- 13:45Speaker 1: their summery ways. Uh so it was very telling and interesting. Obviously,
- 13:51Speaker 1: Trevor Noah thirty eight to Alipa seven. She's in New
- 13:56Speaker 1: York constantly. He lives in New York. Uh, you know,
- 14:00Speaker 1: everyone is positive. I haven't. It's I've only seen the
- 14:03Speaker 1: negatives because everyone loves each them. They're like, first off,
- 14:08Speaker 1: let's be honest, no one out there listening right now.
- 14:10Speaker 1: As much like you hate to burst anybody's bubble had
- 14:12Speaker 1: a shot with Trevor Noah or do Alipa all right?
- 14:15Speaker 1: Like everybody's Oh, I'm so mad Trevor no off the market?
- 14:19Speaker 1: It you probably right, you probably right about pumped into
- 14:22Speaker 1: him on the West Side Highway. Sorry, I gave for
- 14:24Speaker 1: a walkie each day. I bumped into him. He's just
- 14:27Speaker 1: walking by himself. He's a really good looking guy. And
- 14:29Speaker 1: I saw a great hair, right hair, this big smile.
- 14:32Speaker 1: He was on his phone, he was laughing, he was
- 14:34Speaker 1: talking and I saw him from a distance and that's like,
- 14:36Speaker 1: I want a handsome guy. And then he's got close
- 14:38Speaker 1: to It's like, oh, it's Trevor Never, which makes him
- 14:41Speaker 1: even more handsome, I think. And so in the street though,
- 14:43Speaker 1: like as a publicist, like you, you know, like you're
- 14:47Speaker 1: being watched. You're Trevor Noah, You're the do Alipa, the
- 14:51Speaker 1: arguably the biggest pop star in the world. You're in
- 14:53Speaker 1: the middle of Manhattan and you kiss like it would
- 14:58Speaker 1: be one thing, it would be like a kiss on
- 14:59Speaker 1: the cheek, like if I saw you. I like this.
- 15:03Speaker 1: I think they're throwing caution to the wind. This is
- 15:06Speaker 1: about the two of them, ignore all of us for
- 15:08Speaker 1: a minute, have a little bit of normal love, love love.
- 15:11Speaker 1: We're here for love on the Nordy but Show how
- 15:13Speaker 1: We're going to take a quick break and we will
- 15:15Speaker 1: be right back bocome back to the Nobody but My show.
- 15:20Speaker 1: I'm Rob Shooter with their dear friend Garrett Vogel, Hey, Garrett,
- 15:23Speaker 1: let's get to the polls. That last show, we talked
- 15:26Speaker 1: about Sarah Jessica Parker who missed the New York City
- 15:29Speaker 1: Ballet gala that she was being honored at after a
- 15:32Speaker 1: sudden family situation. It turns out that her stepfather passed away.
- 15:39Speaker 1: She managed to get to the bedside before he passed, so,
- 15:42Speaker 1: thank goodness, Sarah did that. A question was was it
- 15:45Speaker 1: wrong for her to leave this gala? So if you're
- 15:47Speaker 1: going to get honored at an event, regardless of what's
- 15:50Speaker 1: going on, even a family situation, should you stay? Let's
- 15:52Speaker 1: have a look percent no, leave leave, leave leave. We
- 15:56Speaker 1: are totally with you, and was sending a lot by
- 16:00Speaker 1: the way, and I said it, I love Sarah Jessica Parker.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Don't forget to vote on today's pole. Go to a
- 16:05Speaker 1: Twitter page at Naughty Nice Rob On facebook page is
- 16:08Speaker 1: already gossip and be sure to check back tomorrow to
- 16:12Speaker 1: hear your results. Hey, let's do the nicest of the day.
- 16:18Speaker 1: All right, Let's talk about Mila Kunez and Ashton Kutcher.
- 16:21Speaker 1: She says that the open door policy in her home
- 16:26Speaker 1: pertaining to the bathroom she goes uh. She opened up
- 16:29Speaker 1: about the lack of privacy in a in her family's home,
- 16:32Speaker 1: which if you have a family of two, three, four,
- 16:36Speaker 1: or five you understand this. She she was talking about
- 16:38Speaker 1: the bathroom, and it's just one of those where, for
- 16:41Speaker 1: better or worse, as a family, the kids have all
- 16:44Speaker 1: the kind of embodied functions of as every standard norm.
- 16:49Speaker 1: I never thought I would be the person that was
- 16:51Speaker 1: able to go to the bathroom with the door open.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Everything started when Mila found someone constantly knocking on the door.
- 16:56Speaker 1: I was like, oh, forget it, just keep the door
- 17:00Speaker 1: so I get it, like no matter what, Like you
- 17:02Speaker 1: think that the bathroom, especially if you have kids, is
- 17:04Speaker 1: like all right, I get five minutes just quiet, do
- 17:07Speaker 1: what I gotta do, and then you go hello, are
- 17:12Speaker 1: you there? Hey? I saw you going there? Can I'm hungry.
- 17:16Speaker 1: I'm hungry. I'm hungry, mom, dad, It's a lot. I'd
- 17:20Speaker 1: have children, but I think that this would be a
- 17:23Speaker 1: step too far from me. I do not have an
- 17:26Speaker 1: open door bathroom policy in my house and there's just
- 17:30Speaker 1: two of us living here. What aboutting your home, Gareth,
- 17:34Speaker 1: we kind of have a closed door, but the door
- 17:35Speaker 1: still knocks. But let me ask you this question the
- 17:37Speaker 1: rob shooter, So you can relate. Do you let Darby
- 17:40Speaker 1: in the bathroom with I do? And I didn't when
- 17:42Speaker 1: I first got him. It was I didn't. I wasn't
- 17:44Speaker 1: used to living with a dog, and so Darby pushes
- 17:47Speaker 1: his nose because we don't have a lock on the door.
- 17:49Speaker 1: But I closed the door. You don't have a lot
- 17:51Speaker 1: in your bathroom, just closed the door. The day, I'm
- 17:54Speaker 1: never going to the bathroom when you're not running in.
- 17:56Speaker 1: There's only three. If you're in my house, there's be
- 17:57Speaker 1: three people here. I can see out of them, Bruce.
- 18:00Speaker 1: I could see myself, so I know where you are.
- 18:02Speaker 1: So you kind of have an open door, But I
- 18:04Speaker 1: don't know how you're at nicest The day she got
- 18:08Speaker 1: us talking about this, even though I'm not quite sure,
- 18:10Speaker 1: I agree and know she is the day Selina gas
- 18:14Speaker 1: is addressing the violent, disgusting hate following Hailey Bieber's podcast comments. So,
- 18:19Speaker 1: Haley Bieber did a podcast recently and she said one
- 18:22Speaker 1: of the lowest moments was dealing with all the online hate.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Shortly after this aired, Selena addressed the online hate on TikTok.
- 18:30Speaker 1: She's a really remarkable person. Selena gomess like she doesn't
- 18:33Speaker 1: have to do this. It'd be easy to ignore it,
- 18:36Speaker 1: and she says, no, I'm not ignoring it. I don't
- 18:38Speaker 1: want this. I don't want vile, disgusting things said. It's
- 18:42Speaker 1: not fair. Words really really matter. I'm impressed. I'm really
- 18:46Speaker 1: am I forget how impressive she is constantly, and I shouldn't.
- 18:51Speaker 1: I get it, But I think she's brilliant. Why do
- 18:53Speaker 1: you think about her, Garrett? I think it's definitely the
- 18:55Speaker 1: high road. But again, like, just let let go. Just
- 18:58Speaker 1: like we're talking about Harry and and Alex Rodriguez, everyone
- 19:03Speaker 1: that still believes that's Lena Gomez and Justin Bieber. We're
- 19:05Speaker 1: going to get back together. You need to. It's not
- 19:09Speaker 1: all of them, but some of the fans. It is over.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Let them move on, talking to move in on. Let's
- 19:14Speaker 1: end with a moment of Robbie Rob Rob. I love
- 19:17Speaker 1: this quote. It's from Henry Matisse, the artist, and we
- 19:20Speaker 1: don't normally quote are on this podcast, normally quote Kim Kardashia,
- 19:24Speaker 1: but I just love this quote. Quote. We should do
- 19:26Speaker 1: more Henry, I mean do more Henry on the ship,
- 19:28Speaker 1: Henry Matiz. Maybe we'll do Picasso tomorrow. Okay, so I
- 19:31Speaker 1: love this quote. There are always flowers for those who
- 19:36Speaker 1: want to see them. I woke up this morning. I
- 19:39Speaker 1: have a little bit of a kild, I'll am it.
- 19:41Speaker 1: I didn't necessarily see the flowers, and I stopped. I
- 19:44Speaker 1: poured myself a cup of coffee, and I did. I
- 19:47Speaker 1: saw a flower out of my window, and I smiled.
- 19:51Speaker 1: They are there if you want to see them. I
- 19:54Speaker 1: did not want to see them this morning. I was
- 19:56Speaker 1: in a bit of a grumpy mood and there was
- 19:58Speaker 1: a flower that I didn't see looking at me, and
- 20:02Speaker 1: I saw it. In the end, you can see the flowers,
- 20:04Speaker 1: I promise you. If you want to see them, they
- 20:08Speaker 1: are there. That is it for today. Thank you so
- 20:10Speaker 1: much for listening to the Naughty but Nice. Thank You
- 20:13Speaker 1: Garrot with Robert Garrett. You're so romantic production of I
- 20:17Speaker 1: Heart Radio. Let's be honest. I'm the flower, You're my flower.
- 20:21Speaker 1: That would be a lovely payoff. I wish I thought
- 20:23Speaker 1: about that. I have been the end of the movie,
- 20:27Speaker 1: had we been on lifetime, Garrett and you are my flower.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Don't forget to subscribe on the I Heart Radio, Apple
- 20:34Speaker 1: Apple Podcast or wherever you listen and leave us a
- 20:36Speaker 1: review if you can, and get lots of new reviews.

- 20:42Speaker 1: We've got a ton of new listeners, so welcome, welcome, welcome.
- 20:45Speaker 1: The power of that show, Garrett, it's massive. It's you
- 20:49Speaker 1: never know. And that's the weird thing about you know,
- 20:51Speaker 1: who's listening to the podcast. We just we assume it's
- 20:54Speaker 1: just the conversation between you and you, Rob Shooter and
- 20:58Speaker 1: the Flower. That's the new podcast that we're starting tomorrow. Um.
- 21:01Speaker 1: But but the amount of people that just listen that
- 21:04Speaker 1: you know, we have no idea. We appreciate it, and
