Morning Devotion - Sanctimonious or Sanctified
In the days of Christ on earth, the religious leaders of the time were known to be hypocritical and very deceitful. Jesus was unhappy with these leaders who appeared pious in the public, but were wicked and lawless beyond the public view. Man's tendency to hypocrisy and deceit is the focus of today's Morning Devotion. It condemns man's hypocrisy and admonishes all to be sanctified rather than being sanctimonious, pretending to be what they are not. It concludes that God will judge every act of deceit and wickedness. August 3, 2023.
