- 0:49Well, good afternoon, everybody. It's the Crypted Huntress. I'm Jessica Jones.
- 0:54Welcome to a Glitch in the Matrix. Boy, do I have another
- 0:58really interesting show for us today. I hope you guys are doing awesome.
- 1:02I want to thank everybody who showed up at the Georgia Bigfoot Conference this past
- 1:06weekend. Shout out to all my new friends, all my old friends,
- 1:10and everybody in between. We had such a great time and I got to
- 1:15meet so many fantastic people, y'all. And if you ever get a chance,
- 1:19please go to these conferences, meet people face to face. Yeah,
- 1:23it's it's just awesome just having so many researchers there to share our stories,
- 1:29swap our stories, find out some new spots to go research at, and
- 1:34some new camping buddies I think. And I got a couple of new stickers
- 1:38for my truck. Okay, so that truck man, I'm not gonna be
- 1:42able to see it on my back windshield one day, Okay, But from
- 1:46all the bigfoots. All right, y'all, Well, today we're going to
- 1:49be talking about something that we have not discussed here at the Crypti Hunters Channel
- 1:55yet. We're talking about sheep squatch. Yes, I said it, sheep
- 2:00squatch. Okay, And it's out of West Virginia and Virginia. And this
- 2:06is a serious topic, a serious cryptid. It's been reported since the seventeen
- 2:12hundreds in West Virginia. The colonists. Okay, we're seeing this thing,
- 2:19sheep herders. We're seeing this thing. And I have my suspicions there's more
- 2:23than just one, but I have not remote viewed it. Okay, we're
- 2:27just discussing this today. So I have my friend Dennis Carroll in the studio
- 2:32today to help me unload I guess all this information and have a really good
- 2:38discussion on the sheep squatch today. Of course, you guys please go follow.
- 2:43If you want to follow all of my shows, you can go to
- 2:46my website that's the cryptid Huntress dot com. You can find all of the
- 2:50events I'm going to be at in all my shows. And oh yeah,
- 2:54I added to something else to my calendar. Okay, I think, Oh
- 2:58and it's the day. I can't remember the date I'm going to be sometime
- 3:01in September. I believe the second weekend of September I will be at the
- 3:05fourth Annual East Tennessee Squatch Out. That's what Manimal Research Wayne thought Throw is
- 3:12going to be out there and it's his crew. We're going to be camping
- 3:15out having a great time. So you guys, if y'all want to sign
- 3:19up for that, y'all come see us. We're staying at a campground called
- 3:22Sasquatch Farm. I think, uh, it's gonna be a lot of fun.
- 3:27So yeah, that I just added that to the calendar. That's going
- 3:30to be the weekend after labor date. So if you're in the Tennessee area,
- 3:34y'all come see me. Okay, But that's on my website. If
- 3:37you guys would like to support the channel and support what I do, you
- 3:39can join my Patreon. That's the Crypto Huntress on Patreon. Shout out to
- 3:44all my members. Also, we have a membership here on the channel and
- 3:50that's uh. You just hit the joining button on the main page of my
- 3:53YouTube channel and I put exclusive content up there. Okay. Also, I
- 3:57have a shop that's called war Woman Goods. If you'd like to purchase some
- 4:00jewelry, that's it's there, okay, and I will I do include Cryptid
- 4:05Huntress merch with my packages. I've had a couple of packages on their way
- 4:10to people right now. Okay, so let's get this party started. Okay.
- 4:15Shout out to all my moderators in here today. I see y'all,
- 4:18Amma Channel members. Okay, let's get into the topic for today. The
- 4:26West Virginia seep sheep squatch is a white, wooly haired beast that roams the
- 4:31mountains and forests of the Appellationians Eyewitnesses described this sheep squatch as being similar in
- 4:38size and shape to a bear, with a long pointed snout, sharp horns
- 4:44protruding from its head, and paul like hands tipped with razor sharp claws.
- 4:49It walks on four legs, but it's also seen on two legs. Witnesses
- 4:55claim that it smells like rotting flesh and that its eyes grow glow read at
- 5:00night, citing state back to at least the seventeen sixties, with most of
- 5:05the reports being in the mid nineteen nineties. There was a group of campers
- 5:12that were terrorized by sheep squatch back in the mid nineteen nineties and toward their
- 5:18camp apart. There's lots of stories about sheep squatch being cited. It is
- 5:24also called the white beast I believe is what they call it, the white
- 5:28beast of the Appellationians. It is white. It does look like a sheep.
- 5:32I think it looks like a goat man. But to help me talk
- 5:35about the sheep squatch today, I have my friend Dennis Carrol here. Dennis
- 5:41has over forty years of experience in the paranormal and he's an author. He
- 5:45has a wonderful YouTube channel called Hunting the Shadows. Please help me. Welcome
- 5:49to the show today, my friend doctor Dennis Carrol. Hey, Dennis left
- 5:54then, It's always a pleasure. I was just listening to you to describe
- 5:59that about that appalations. I've been all over the Appellations. And I was
- 6:02talking to a friend of mine just recently who is in Transylvania, Romania,
- 6:08and she was talking about the Carpathian Mountains all the weird, strange stuff that
- 6:13happens in the Carpathians. I told her, you don't have anything on us,
- 6:16because we have the Appolations, okay, and they are very very strange.
- 6:20You have a lot of weird, weird stuff there. And here's here's
- 6:24something. Here's a side note on that. If you look at the continents
- 6:29before they drifted apart. The Appalations and the Carpathians were connected. So there
- 6:34you go. That's a that's a strange connection there. But the thing about
- 6:40sheep squatch that has always fascinated me over the years, and when I got
- 6:45into cryptid research years and years and years ago, I looked at the standard
- 6:49ones, you know, dolman U, sasquatch, schoop acabro, the vampire
- 6:56type cryptid, all the different ones. Sheep squatch is one of the strangest
- 7:01cryptids you will ever supposedly encounter in this kind of research. It is very
- 7:09strange. And you know, you mentioned just just a second ago that it
- 7:13kind of reminds you of got of a goat. It kind of reminds me
- 7:16a lot and a lot of depictions of a realm or like a you know,
- 7:20the big horned sheep that are up in the mountains. Yeah, and
- 7:25you know, I have to wonder if there's a connection with that because you're
- 7:30talking about the Abbelachians, You're talking about mountain country. Uh, And in
- 7:34West Virginia you've got a lot of mountains, definitely, You've got a lot
- 7:38of mountain country. And this thing is centralized though Jessica around Mason and Boone
- 7:45Counties in West Virginia. I've also been in there actually, and we're gonna
- 7:49talk about it in a little bit. There's a connection between sheep Squatch and
- 7:55Mossman. Oh yeah, well, West Virginia has their share of kryptids.
- 8:01And I don't want to thank Booth the Bigle for that supersticker. Thank you,
- 8:03he says. Sheep's squatch is just just has a bad hair day.
- 8:07Okay, it's a bigfoot with the bad hair day. Maybe you know.
- 8:11I love that. Yeah, So, West Virginia has their share of cryptids.
- 8:15I actually found it. If you just type in West Virginia cryptids on
- 8:20any kind of search engine, there are all sorts of maps that will pop
- 8:22up that have all the different cryptids. And we have everything from the snarly
- 8:28yew to the big Foot, to a water horse to the werewolf. We
- 8:35have the Grafton Monster, the flat Woods Monster, injured Coals out of West
- 8:39Virginia, and of course we have the Mothman, the White Things and also
- 8:45known as the devil Dogs. Dennis, plenty of cryptids to talk about.
- 8:50Do you think it has something to do with that Appalachian Mountain Range right there.
- 8:54Definitely, I think you know, and I'm not saying it's about the
- 8:58people of West Virginia, but West Virginia is weird, and definitely it has
- 9:01its fair share some really strange stuff and the connection supposedly with Maufman and Cheap
- 9:09Squatch. And I have been to the T and T area. I don't
- 9:13know if you've ever been there, but it's a fascinating place. And the
- 9:16T and T area, which is right outside of Point Pleasant, West Virginia,
- 9:22is where the Mafman was sided. But this is also supposed to be
- 9:26the home of Sheep Squatch as well. And and if you get to get
- 9:31to Point Pleasure that you definitely have to go through Boone County without a doubt.
- 9:37But supposedly that's the connection going on between that is that this thing supposedly
- 9:43came out of the T and T area. Now, let me say this
- 9:46about the T and T area. Like I said, it's a very strange
- 9:48area and got a lot of it's got a lot of connections paranormal type,
- 9:54weird cryptia connections to it because it is a wildlife h place. Okay,
- 10:01it's the Mcleaning Wildlife Area and also there is a swamp there. I'm going
- 10:05to tell you this swamp looks like something straight out of a horror movie.
- 10:09Okay, it is a very spooky looking swampy you would think the creature from
- 10:16the Black Lagoon or something. We live in this thing. And this right
- 10:20next to the T and T area. And here's the interesting connection. And
- 10:26we may get into this later too. There's a lot of the conjecture that
- 10:31sheep Squatch may actually be a governmental experiment that got loose or went wrong or
- 10:37whatever however you want to say it, that might be connected to the TNT
- 10:41area because a lot of that has your men in black. It has a
- 10:45lot of secret government stuff going on now just connected to them off Man,
- 10:50a lot of other things like that Matthew showed earlier. There's a lot of
- 10:54other stuff going on as well. So you got to wonder, you know,
- 10:58what the true origin of sheep Squad really is. Yeah, oh yeah,
- 11:03Well you can see you can see the Boom County and this where the
- 11:07area of the region where sheep Squatch has been seen is right there at the
- 11:13at the intersection of you know, Kentucky's close by, Virginia's close by,
- 11:18Tennessee is not too far away, Ohio. I mean, all that is
- 11:20right there. There's a whole lot of high strangeness, a lot of strange
- 11:24cryptids right there. You know. We talked about Spearfinger the last time you
- 11:28came on the show, and she is a shape shifting witch out of the
- 11:31Appalachian Mountains. So there's there's something going on there. And of course I
- 11:37just talked on Sunday night on Space Out Radio with a gentleman from the North
- 11:43American dog Man Project Starfox. We were talking about the Oakridge Labs over in
- 11:48Tennessee, and that's kind of right there, in that same stretch of mountain
- 11:52range right there. So you know, a dent, very dense woods.
- 11:56You know. I pulled these pictures up to show the audience how thick the
- 12:00woods are there around the mountains. Anything could hide in there. There is
- 12:07definitely some conjecture that this may be something that was We do know that the
- 12:11government and a lot of other governments in the world on lots of ours,
- 12:13are interested in that hybridization of species and stuff. Now, if you look
- 12:20at sheep Squatch and all the depictions of it and the eyewitness accounts of it,
- 12:24and it really began showing up in the late nineteen nineties or eighties,
- 12:31somewhere in that station when really really got hot and on into the two thousands.
- 12:37But if you look at it that way, you have to wonder if
- 12:39there was not some kind of a governmental thing going on here. But when
- 12:43you look at sheep squatch, there's no human characteristics about it at all.
- 12:48I mean, it doesn't have any you know, like goat men. Goat
- 12:50man is sort of like half man half goat kind of thing, like the
- 12:54Godpan or or something like that along those lines. That's the interesting thing about
- 12:58goat. But look at sheep squash. That thing is a monster. Think
- 13:03about it. I mean, that is something that should not absolutely exist in
- 13:07nature in that respect, from the natural order of things. You gotta wonder,
- 13:13you know, what its true origin is or if it's some kind of
- 13:16a highberganization or what's going on with that, because you've got two or three
- 13:22things. Actually, you look, like I said earlier, like the big
- 13:26horn sheep. You got that look at the fans. That's like a bear
- 13:31or maybe even a tiger or something like that. And then the body of
- 13:35what we call sasquatch is very much like the body of sasquatch, although this
- 13:39thing is always depicted Jessica as being the color of white color. It's called
- 13:45the white thing sometimes by some of the residents of West Virginia. You gotta
- 13:50wonder, you know, is it also kin to the yetti or some of
- 13:54the other higher kind of sasquatch as you hear about they go up our mountain
- 14:00ranges. Uh, you gotta wonder what's going on with this? And look
- 14:03at those the depiction of the feet and everything, very much like a badge.
- 14:07So you've got three or four different type of animal characteristics going on here,
- 14:13you do. Now, I like this sketch right here because this is
- 14:16from an eyewitness account. It looks like a dog man right here. So
- 14:22it has elements of Bigfoot, has elements of dog man, it has elements
- 14:26of a goat man. It's like a hybrid or something. Now the way
- 14:31it's described as a large, bare size quadruped so it walks on four legs,
- 14:37but it also walks on two legs back. It has thick white wool
- 14:43like fur covering its body. It has a long pointed head like a dog
- 14:48like a dog man, okay, or a dog it has long saber like
- 14:52teeth, so saber like teeth like a like a saber tooth tiger, okay,
- 14:58And it has a goat like horns in raccoon like pause. Now,
- 15:03dog men are said to have paws that look like or hands like raccoon paws.
- 15:07That's how they're commonly described. And they have a long, hairless possum
- 15:13like tail the marsupial okay, and they smell like sulfur. Dennis, Right,
- 15:22I'm gonna talk about that in a little bit because there's supposed to be
- 15:26a black magic connection with this thing as well, and we do know that
- 15:31the appellation has this fair share of black magic and all that sorcery type says
- 15:35that's going on. But one more thing I won't say is because you do
- 15:39see a lot of depictions of this thing with the ramhorns. But like you
- 15:45just said, most of these eye witnesses are talking about goat horns, which
- 15:50are very smaller in relation to what the big horn sheep would have. I
- 15:54think that's more of an accurate type of a description with the goat horns other
- 16:00than the ram horns. You know what I'm saying. Those ram horns are
- 16:04very long and curled like you see there in that picture. Uh, they
- 16:08don't look like goat horn. You know. Yes, I've been around some
- 16:14I've been around some goats that I know how that so, uh, you
- 16:18know there's a big difference in that. So you got to wonder about some
- 16:21of these eyewings accounts. Uh, well, I go, well, when
- 16:26whenever it comes down the line, Jessica, I go with the eye winds
- 16:30accounts. I go with the first person accounts, I call it because that's
- 16:33better than some of the research, because a lot of the research is conjecture,
- 16:38you know what I'm saying. I like the eyewitness accounts, and that
- 16:42tells you more of the story, you know, of what may be going
- 16:47on. So I agree with you. This thing has more of the attributes
- 16:51of goat men in that way than he does the big horn cheap it does.
- 16:56And now I thought it was more like a goat man. And uh,
- 17:02the first time I ever saw it, and there's a picture going around
- 17:04the internet, okay that I've been seeing. I've been seeing this picture for
- 17:07so long and I'm not sure if anyone in the audience has background on this
- 17:12picture, because it looks like a goat man. To me, it always
- 17:15looked like a sasquatch goat man. Now I'm thinking this could be what we're
- 17:21talking about today. This could be a sheep squatch, or it could be
- 17:22a man in a suit. I don't know. But this thing has it's
- 17:26not white, but it has horns. And uh yeah, right, oh,
- 17:33Ryan's and that you, hey, Ryan, Ryan tremble is in here,
- 17:34he says, sheep squatch. I'm the goat goat man. That's cute.
- 17:38The goat. That's funny. The goat goat is greatest of all time,
- 17:41y'all. Okay, So but this was let me straighten something out here.
- 17:48When it comes to goat man. Uh and there has been a reference
- 17:52to the god Pan, you know, the Greek god Pan. We got
- 17:56to remember one thing about Pan and goat man. The big different in them,
- 18:00okay, is that Pan is depicted as being a mortal man from the
- 18:06waist up. Okay, He's got the head and everything that does not look
- 18:11like a mortal man. Okay, when you think about it, the goat
- 18:15man looks like a goat walking around on two legs in that respect, you
- 18:21know, instead of Ford. Oh my gosh. Okay, So Ryan says,
- 18:26Allegedly this photo was taken after a kid went missing. Allegedly in another
- 18:30photo you could see it carrying the child's body. That's horrible. That adds
- 18:37a whole other element to that. So okay, well, I didn't know
- 18:41that. I knew there was some kind of background to this picture. And
- 18:45it's pretty terrifying because it looks like it looks like what I would think is
- 18:49I guess a sheep squash would be. That's exactly how this has been described,
- 18:52other than the fact that this one is brown brownish black, and we're
- 18:56talking about something that people describe as being white. Now we have white sasquatches
- 19:02or cream kind of cream colored or off white sasquatches. There's actually one in
- 19:06North Georgia that gets reported. Well, of course, that's like I said
- 19:11earlier, the description of the Yetti and the higher Himalayas, it's supposed to
- 19:15be white and during the winter it's supposed to be browner colored during the summer
- 19:21months and all that. In the lower regions of the Himalayas. I think
- 19:25John Kiell wrote about that in his book Ja Do, which was a very
- 19:27interesting book and a very interesting experience you had with YETI but you know,
- 19:33here's the interesting thing just ago. So that picture and all that, But
- 19:37the idea is that there are different characterisicstics between the different characteristics between Goldman and
- 19:48sheep squatch. You've got two different things. Really. You know a lot
- 19:52of people say, oh, they're confusing the same thing. No, I
- 19:55don't think so, because, like you said, in the earlier I in
- 19:57this accounts, they talk about that snout being somewhat longer like that of a
- 20:03canine. You don't see that with goat man. Now, the goat naturally
- 20:07does not has a snout, but it doesn't have a long snout like that
- 20:11like you see that picture right there. Although I don't know the authenticity,
- 20:15that comes very close to what goat man definitely supposed to look like. And
- 20:22if you see, if you look into that, you see that there's a
- 20:25big difference between that and what people describe as sas the sheep squatch thing going
- 20:29on. Like I said, the sheep squatch thing sounds more than me like
- 20:33some kind of weird hybrid of a type creature. Whether it got they waiting
- 20:40unnaturally or whether it was manipulated in that way, That's what it sounds like
- 20:45to me. And here's one other thing that aspect and we need to look
- 20:48at that when you look at sheep squatch, and that's the black Meagac sorcery
- 20:52connection. Supposedly, this thing, Jessica, looks very much like a lurker
- 20:59demons that are called up to guard certain areas. They're calso car guardian demons.
- 21:07They look very much like this and they are a weird hybrid of animal
- 21:11type characteristics connected with him. And we do know that the Appellachians has a
- 21:15very long and varied history with black magic, witchcraft stuff like that. So
- 21:22you got to wonder is there a smoking gun in that direction too? You
- 21:26know, absolutely yeah, Well, you know, reports of this creature go
- 21:30all the way back to the seventeen hundreds. I think it was seventeen sixty
- 21:36if I'm not mistaken. When people were I want to say they were colonizing
- 21:42the area, the colonials, I guess we're out there. There was a
- 21:45man that was reportedly hurting sheep around the mountains on some property and in some
- 21:52of his sheep were attacked by what he described as what we were talking about
- 21:56today, the sheep squatch, mauling some of his sheep to death. Uh,
- 22:03and leave it, leave me a bunch of carnage out there, uh
- 22:04in the field. So it's been it's been around for quite some time.
- 22:10I mean, and I don't think it would be the same beasts. It's
- 22:11probably if they were around back in you know, hundreds of years ago,
- 22:15a couple hundred years ago, three four hundred years ago. Whatever it's going
- 22:21to, it's going to be a descendant, right, I mean, unless
- 22:25it's a time traveler. I'm just kidding. I don't know. It makes
- 22:27you wonder, it makes you wonder. If does it makes you wonder,
- 22:32It wouldn't surprise me at this point. And you know, whenever I think
- 22:38about the Abelation mounds, I think about magic. Was I meant to urger?
- 22:42Uh? You know that some of these so called supposed to wishes whatever
- 22:47name you want to give them, uh, could actually turn themselves into large
- 22:49black cats like mountain lions or whatever, or jaguars. Uh. Supposedly they
- 22:57could also change themselves in these type of animals like sheep squatch. So you're
- 23:03looking at sort of the Appelation's version of the skin Walker in a way,
- 23:07okay, because that's connected to dark magic in that respect, you have to
- 23:14wonder, you know, at the origin of these things and what lies beneath
- 23:18them, and what leads up to these things. But you know, I
- 23:21find it very interesting that the seventeen hundreds there was a lot of prevalence of
- 23:25witchcrafts supposedly then just as much as they are now. It's not more so
- 23:30you have to wonder. It's just very much like you know, the Jersey
- 23:34Devil in that respect. You know, you got a connection there with that
- 23:38too, kind then we do, yes, Okay, well, let's get
- 23:42into a couple of accounts from people who were eyewitnesses that had encounters with the
- 23:49sheep squatch up there, because back in nineteen ninety four is when there was
- 23:53kind of an uptick in some of the sightings. One of the earliest,
- 23:57one of the sightings in the nineteen in the nineteen nineties was actually a former
- 24:02Navy seaman who encountered the sheep squatch while he was in the woods. It
- 24:08was near a creek. He said he thought it was a log. Okay,
- 24:12now, the way he described that, he thought it was a log.
- 24:15That's how a lot of people describe their sasquatch encounters. They think it's
- 24:19just a true, because it's something that just sits there and it's camouflage.
- 24:23It looks like a tree stump until it moves, okay. So when it
- 24:29moved, that's when he realized that it wasn't a tree stump. And he
- 24:33said that it didn't have any kind of behavior. It didn't move like a
- 24:37regular animal, okay. And that's so that people described sasquatch sightings and cryptid
- 24:44sightings. That's the way, you know, like I said, that shapeshifter
- 24:48thing, you know, they can they can you could look like in animal
- 24:52objects just as well as an animal. In that respect, you got some
- 24:56kind of I don't know, a dark magic thing going on with that in
- 25:00that respect. If you're dealing with shapeshifters, that's how you become a shape
- 25:04shifter basically in that respect. But he is another interesting thing. There is
- 25:11a UFO connection with sheep squats. There have actually been some sheep squad siding
- 25:15supposedly connected with UFO sidings, and we do know that there are a lot
- 25:21of UFO sidings around Wesbea. So you know, you don't know if that's
- 25:26a really strong connection or just a coincidence kind of thing, but you gotta
- 25:30wonder about that too. You know, I wouldn't surprise me, be a
- 25:36surprise of me if the men in black didn't get in with sheep squad sidings.
- 25:40You know, there may be some of those out there, but I
- 25:41remember one eye witness, Jessica, talking about seeing sheep squats sitting down in
- 25:47a ditch, you know, and they actually came upon him sitting in the
- 25:51ditch and he kind of like looked up and kind of the way they sounded
- 25:55to me like an animal would feel threatened. You know, that he got
- 25:59up the edish and rushed them and they scared them off, you know,
- 26:02kind of like an ape would do in the bush or whatever. And you
- 26:06know, sasquatch has been scid of doing things like that as well, trying
- 26:11to warn people off or scare them away from him, which makes sense if
- 26:15you're trying to survive against somebody like mankind, you definitely want to give them
- 26:19a boundary, not the crossover. And that's an interesting thing about sheep squash.
- 26:23She sort of has that characteristic in common with sashquatch. Absolutely sure.
- 26:30Okay, so this thing has not only been spotted by adults, it's been
- 26:36spotted by children as well. Who've had encounters. And there were two children
- 26:40that were playing in their backyard in Boone County, Okay, because most of
- 26:45these accounts are around Boone County. Like you had stated earlier, they saw
- 26:48a large white creature resembling a bear. It shocked them because it stood on
- 26:55its hind legs, and they said it was at least over six feet tall.
- 27:00They said that actually the children scared it more than it scared the children.
- 27:07People believe or they were equally as scared, and so the ship squatch
- 27:11ran off. I believe it was on two legs, fleeing through the forest,
- 27:15breaking branches along the way. There's been some criticism, Jessica, that
- 27:21this is a mange bear that people have seen. I don't believe that because
- 27:25I have seen mange bears Okay, and they do look very skinny, they
- 27:29look very weird. But the sheep squatch is always described being very bulky,
- 27:33very big, and very heavy, completely different from what you would think a
- 27:38Maine bear would look like. Although it does have a like I said we
- 27:42were earlier, it does have the characteristics of the bear feet like, and
- 27:47supposedly it has left very of us are like bear tracks in the woods that
- 27:52people are supposed they have seen, but they're not completely like bear tracks.
- 27:56Now, you know, if you've had any experience with crypto research and getting
- 28:03out of the woods and all that, you've got to learn your tracks.
- 28:04You got to learn your you know, you know what I'm talking about.
- 28:07You know, well, I'm talking about You've got to learn your tracks,
- 28:11even the falling out around you, the animals a little you need all that.
- 28:15And when people come back and say, hey, we didn't recognize these
- 28:19kind of tracks, you got to pay attention to that, you know,
- 28:22because something definitely out of ordinary going on, That's right, Yes, Okay,
- 28:29So I did. I have done a breakdown of animal tracks on my
- 28:33remote viewing show because the past couple of weeks I had remote viewed the beast
- 28:38of Bleedenborough out of North Carolina, which is not terribly far from there.
- 28:42It's on the East coast over here, and also the unspecified animal attack of
- 28:48Brenda Hamilton as well, And so I went over cat track, big cat
- 28:52tracks, coyote tracks, dog tracks, and just to compare them, to
- 29:00compare and contrast because as a as a bigfoot field researcher, we have to
- 29:03know our animal tracks especially the ones that are the areas that we're researching,
- 29:08because we need to not only know what's if there's food out there first of
- 29:14all for the bigfoots. You know, I'm looking for deer track and deer
- 29:17sign when i'm out, but we have to know what's tracking us. Okay,
- 29:22to study the complete the complete habitat. Yeah, that's what you're going
- 29:26to go after. And you know there's you have to even be careful how
- 29:30you look at tracks because sometimes they can missease you. An animal can step
- 29:34in its own track sometimes or what we call a double track or smear track
- 29:41can look very weird unless you don't know what you're looking at. So you
- 29:44got to take into account where the track is, what kind of mud rock
- 29:48or whateverything. Let me say this, every animal that walks this planet,
- 29:53that walks on this planet. I'm not all my birds because they fly,
- 29:56but they animals that walks on this planet eventually leaves the track, It leaves
- 30:03a trail. You just need to know and look at what you're looking at
- 30:07to understand what it is you're seeing. And even sheep squatch would definitely unless
- 30:11they are smart enough to obliterate their tracks, like I have heard sasquatch.
- 30:17Suppose they does. If they're smart enough to do that, then that's that's
- 30:21the problem you got to run into. But you can even tell that if
- 30:25you know what you're looking for. Well, when people come back and say
- 30:29we we you know, we saw these sheep squatch prints and all that,
- 30:33and we did there was nothing like we've ever seen before, that is very
- 30:37interesting to me. I just wonder, I don't know, I try to
- 30:40find out if anyone has ever actually cast any of these tracks. I don't
- 30:45know if you found out anything on that or not, but I was never
- 30:48able to last yearly see if anybody, like Bigfoot casts on the sheep squatch.
- 30:53No, I didn't find anyone. I didn't find any casted tracks when
- 30:57I was doing my research on this one. Not to say there aren't any.
- 31:02They have so many cryptis up there. I'm sure there's plenty of big
- 31:04Foot field research teams. Just like with my team. When we're out in
- 31:07the field, we're out there for Bigfoot, but we're experiencing whatever's out there,
- 31:11so we never know what we're going to come across. Now, you
- 31:15had mentioned earlier about the case of there was a couple driving down the road
- 31:19and they saw the sheep squatch in a ditch. They didn't know it was
- 31:23a sheep squatch, but they had something very different and very interesting to add
- 31:30to the description of the sheep squatch. They said that they were driving down
- 31:36the highway they saw a large white beast sitting calmly in the ditch in the
- 31:41roadway. They had stopped the car for a closer look. They said that
- 31:47the massive creature had wool like for covering its body, and when it turned
- 31:51around and looked at them, it had two sets of eyes. It had
- 31:55four eyes on its face. That's weird. I'll tell you, guys,
- 32:01that sounds to me like some type of a supernatural creature. And uh,
- 32:08if you are dealing with a supernatural creature, they don't they don't leave tracks
- 32:13or they can make their drives go away. They want to situation with four
- 32:16eyes. You know, I read that that struck struck me very strange.
- 32:21That sounds like something from a supernatural point of view, you know, yes,
- 32:28absolutely well. And it also did something else that was not typical because
- 32:34a lot of people that have the sightings just have a sightings. Well with
- 32:37this with this group, with this couple that experienced said they said that it
- 32:42actually ran towards them and attacked their car. Okay, it actually leapt out
- 32:46of the ditch with surprising agility and began to attack the car. They were
- 32:52so scared they just drove off. When they got home, they didn't stop
- 32:55the car till they got home, and when they got out they discovered large
- 33:00scratches on the side of their car. Now they believe that it could have
- 33:04been because I mean, I guess it felt threatened by them and also probably
- 33:08was a little territorial. I guess. Hm, that's very interesting. You
- 33:15know that physical creature would definitely leave scratches on a car, you know,
- 33:20without that. And when we said that these things may be shape shifters,
- 33:23were not basically saying that they that they are skin walk becers. They may
- 33:28be related to them in that way, they have some of the attributes,
- 33:31but you don't paint any of this with a broad brush, because it's very
- 33:36important that you know exactly what you're talking about and exactly what you're referring to
- 33:40in these things. But they do have similar traits, and you have to
- 33:45wonder about something that can very much like lizard man in South Carolina. I
- 33:50wish I have tray he left chewed up bumpers. I mean, you know,
- 33:54so that's definitely not in my books supernatural in that respect. So you
- 34:01have to wonder, you know, what is this? And like I said
- 34:05earlier, this thing strikes me as being some type of a weird hybriad type
- 34:09thing. It does. I know, it just sounds like so many different
- 34:14cryptids tied into one. But also when you think about it, and I
- 34:17actually I have some pictures here too of some of these other kind of weird
- 34:22hybrids as well that have it. They're very sasquatch like, but they have
- 34:28something else going on with them, like the Cousta, the otter Man.
- 34:32Out of Canada and Alaska. They have the otter Man, which looks very
- 34:38similar to a sasquatch, but it's like at an otter head, but kind
- 34:44of like a sasquatch body. We also have, of course the dog Man.
- 34:47Oh no, that's batsquatch. Actually that's a batsquatch. We have a
- 34:52batsquatch. It's like a sasquatch with wings. That's been seen at Mount Shasta
- 34:58out in California. So street yeah, the bad Squatch in Texas you have
- 35:05the bad squatch. Uh that's interesting. Yeah, yeah, well it's just
- 35:09there's even there's even a beer. I don't think this is the beer,
- 35:15but there's You know, these are really popular cryptids. I did see a
- 35:20beer can with the bat squatch logo. Okay, I thought that was kind
- 35:22of fun. But I mean, who's to say these aren't some kind of
- 35:28weird Some of these aren't some weird, you know, hybrid government agency program
- 35:35thing. I don't know, or maybe maybe they've just always been here.
- 35:37Maybe they've been here longer than we have. Dennis Well and we said we
- 35:43stick squatch on that because we're more like I have actually seen tas squatch.
- 35:49I know he exists without that in my book. Okay, I know he
- 35:52exists. But we tend to we can in our descriptions to stick things that
- 35:57were, you know, familiar with all this something that we're unfamiliar with,
- 36:01you know, to help try to describe it. We can do that sometimes
- 36:07erroneously, unfortunately, But you gotta wonder when I hear about a sheep squatch,
- 36:14the one characteristic that sticks out to me compared to sasquatch is the body
- 36:19bulk of it sasquatch is more muscular human wise muscular, then this thing is
- 36:28being described as, like you said earlier, wooly, like you know,
- 36:30like the wooly rambos type thing. It's kind of very bulky, very much
- 36:37like a bear. Okay, although bears are muscular, you won't see that
- 36:42musculature unless there's kind of you know, like we said earlier, they're very
- 36:46they're hungry, they haven't fed right for a while, they have some kind
- 36:51of disease or whatever the situation. You don't see that musculature on them,
- 36:55you know, So you gotta wonder about that. You know. I had
- 37:00to say squatch a squatch on it. But I wonder a lot of times
- 37:04if we're not misrepresenting that in that respect. You know that's true. Okay,
- 37:09So I was not going to bring this up today. I thought about
- 37:13it and I thought I had uploaded a picture, and then I was like,
- 37:15I changed my mind. Let's go here. Okay, I'm going to
- 37:19go there with this statement. Okay, So when I Dennis when I was
- 37:22a kid, and this is what spawned in my memory, it was Area
- 37:25fifty one. Thank you for being here one eto talking about I wonder if
- 37:30They're just people in wardrobe, like the new version of the Wrong Turn.
- 37:34What they wear. They wear sheep heads looked like sheep squatch. But they
- 37:37were secluded people that did rituals. Okay, all right, So Dennis,
- 37:43when I was a kid, I was Okay, we had like a small
- 37:47town festival in my hometown, and we were I was in a dance troupe
- 37:52okay. And and I was I was a little kid. I danced and
- 37:58we were changing costumes between our ballet routine and our tap routine or jazz or
- 38:04whatever. And in the local Masonic lodge okay. And uh, I've always
- 38:12been hesitant to talk about this, Okay, but it was I I started
- 38:15getting bored. I guess I was like wandering around after the after the you
- 38:20know, performances and stuff, and I was going places where I shouldn't go.
- 38:23I was opening up closet doors and stuff. And I came across a
- 38:30costume. Okay. And I'm not and I'm not trying to give secrets.
- 38:34Way to for the massage, I don't know, but I remember walking in
- 38:37a closet and there was a gigantic mask and it was like it looked like
- 38:44a goat man head. It was like Baphomet. Now now that I know
- 38:46what it is, Okay, it was like Baphomet. Okay, and so
- 38:50God, I probably shouldn't be talking about this, but it looked just like
- 38:55this. Okay, let me pull this picture up again. So whenever I
- 38:59see this, I think of, like what one was saying, juan Ito
- 39:02in here Erea fifty one said, what if it was you know, it's
- 39:06it's like a like a costume or something. And so when I saw this,
- 39:09that's that's always what I've thought of, because it looked a lot like
- 39:13that goat head thing that I had seen in that lodge when I was a
- 39:17kid. Okay, so we've got we've got that factor too in all of
- 39:22this yell. Well, you know there still are right now available, and
- 39:27I've seen some people do this for Halloween, as I actually dressed up as
- 39:30go man. I mean, there's very very elaborate costumes that look very very
- 39:36realistic. H you know, there's always that factor there that you might have,
- 39:40you know, someone doing this kind of thing. But I actually dressed
- 39:44up like that and set in addition wayflowers for somebody to come by and shop
- 39:47and look at you. It's kind of you know, stranger they left or
- 39:52why you would tell you the chance of actually putting on a costume like that,
- 39:57going out in the woods, you're taking your own life and your own
- 40:00lands because somebody would definitely shoot you, so that I would not evie doing
- 40:06that. But here's one other thing, you know, since I mentioned the
- 40:08black magic connection, there is a big distinct connection between goats and the Satanic
- 40:15stuff. Okay, you know, there's a big symbolism there. And as
- 40:20a folklorest, I study a lot of symboloism and stuff like that imagery I
- 40:23call it of these things. And by when I was in law enforcement,
- 40:28we even took these classes on how to you know, discern these things about
- 40:32Satanism and all that stuff because we ran into a lot of that they gave
- 40:37out. I remember it made me think about what you were talking about.
- 40:39The costumes. They gave out T shirts and they had the goat head on
- 40:45them with a line through it and it was called ghost goat busters. Okay,
- 40:50that was a that's kind of connection there on that. That always makes
- 40:52me think about that too, because you see, the goat head is a
- 40:57big symbol in Satanic rites and all that kind of stuff going on in the
- 41:01occult and all that you have to wonder about. Like I said earlier about
- 41:07the connection between this and demonology, and that was BacT too, because there
- 41:12are certain demons I hate, say this, Jessica, that look a heck
- 41:15of a lot like like sheep Squatch. Okay, they do look a lot
- 41:22like him in their depictions of what they're supposed to be. Their description I
- 41:27was, they're supposed to li like. So I got to wonder about that
- 41:29too. But here's one more thing I think about when he comes to sheep
- 41:31Squatch. And like I said, we kind of we talked about this earlier,
- 41:37about that I had my own kind of encounter with something like this,
- 41:43and this was years ago. And like I said, I've spent a lot
- 41:46of time in the woods in my day, a lot of time way out
- 41:50in the middle of nowhere, and that's where I was when this happened.
- 41:52There was another guy with me, but he was like maybe two or three
- 41:57miles from my position or where I was at. This was in broad daylight,
- 42:00it wasn't it night, and I was in one part of the woods.
- 42:05I mean, we're miles away from farm land or anything. Okay,
- 42:09and I hear a sheep, you know, the bleeding of the sheep,
- 42:15And I said, well, what, First of all, I thought I
- 42:15might have been to go because they do sound similar, you know, sheep
- 42:19and the goat. You know, what the heck is that? And why
- 42:22was it doing out here in the middle of these woods, you know?
- 42:24And it was very much like But here's the interesting thing about it. It
- 42:29was sort of a deeper grunt like to it. And a lot of people
- 42:32saw, you've probably heard a wild hall. No, I've heard wild holls.
- 42:37I have heard everything that that are in these woods around me. Okay,
- 42:40I know what they sound like. And this was not a fox.
- 42:44It was not a hall. This was something I had never heard before in
- 42:47the woods. And it sounded so similar, like to a sheep or goat
- 42:52or something like that. And then here's the weird thing, Jessica, it
- 42:58sort of began to kind of try I lead me deeper into the woods.
- 43:01I would follow this sound, trying to figure out where it was because I
- 43:05thought I thought it was maybe somebody's pet goat wandered off in here, something,
- 43:09you know, I didn't really think about sheep squatch. Okay, Well,
- 43:13this was going on and I said, maybe it's somebody's goat, you
- 43:17know. And so I got the fall, and it keeps leading me deeper
- 43:22in deep to the woods. I said, oh, this is not good.
- 43:25And it would do and here's the weird thing. It would circle me.
- 43:30Sometimes it would be frow here in this direction. One time it'd be
- 43:32over in this direction. And there was no wind blowing, you know,
- 43:36sometimes the wind will just stort sound. There was no wind that day,
- 43:42but it was like playing a game with me, and like it was trying
- 43:45to lead me off into the woods. I said, okay, that's enough.
- 43:49And then about thirty minutes to no it stopped and I just turned around
- 43:52and said I'm not going to play this game with you, and I left.
- 43:55But uh, and and thinking back on it later, I thought,
- 44:00I wonder maybe was that an encounter with sheep squatch or goat man or whatever,
- 44:05because it was very odd that he would use that kind of a noise,
- 44:09But yet it wasn't. And I've heard sheep, I've heard goats,
- 44:14but he has sort of a deeper gatorial type and sound to it. Then
- 44:21just a regular sheep or goat bleeding would kind of a sound. It was
- 44:23very odd, very weird. I often wondered if that was something I was
- 44:29encountering like that. That sounds pretty terrifying. It sounds like a like a
- 44:34pack of wild coyotes trying to lure you out, and then with one little
- 44:38scout that goes out and then you go into the woods and lo and behold,
- 44:43you're in the middle of a sheep squatch. You know, beat down.
- 44:46I guess, I don't know. That's crazy. It does. Well,
- 44:52there's there. That's a that's a very interesting encounter. And to hear
- 44:57it firsthand, that's that's pretty awesome. And there was actually some campers,
- 45:01there was a big group of campers, there were at least six of them
- 45:05back in nineteen ninety nine who had had a sheep squatch actually charge at them
- 45:09from the woods while they were out at their campsite camping. They thought it
- 45:15was like an agitated bear, but when it got into the campfire, it
- 45:21charged at them. They took off running. They fled to the safety of
- 45:23they said, their house. So I don't know if their house was close
- 45:28by or if they got in their car and went to their house. But
- 45:31when they got back the next day, they came back the next day,
- 45:34they'd been terrified. They said that right before they as they were running off,
- 45:38it let out a terrible scream. Now, I've been screamed out by
- 45:43a big foot before or something. I couldn't see what it was. We
- 45:46assumed it was a bigfoot. I've never in my life heard anything like that
- 45:51before, and I'll never forget that ever yet rested in my life. That's
- 45:55the way it was with this thing. I had never heard a sound like
- 45:59that. I mean, that's the only way I could say. It was
- 46:00similar to that. Like I said earlier, that's the descriptions we use something
- 46:06that we're familiar with, but it doesn't always actquately describe what it is we're
- 46:12encountering. Just like you're talking about there. You have to wonder what the
- 46:15heck is going on with that? You know? Definitely, yes, for
- 46:21sure, for sure. Now. They said something interesting too, is when
- 46:24they got back the next day to their campsite, it looked like the ground
- 46:29had been tilled, which is like where you take some gardening tools and you
- 46:34pull up all the dirt, you know, like you're going to print seats
- 46:37for the people who aren't familiar. I'm not even that familiar with that.
- 46:39But anyway, well, you know, there are many accounts of dog man
- 46:45being seen in symmetery digging up graves, fresh graves. You have to wonder
- 46:50if these things do not live off maybe sometimes the roots in the ground that
- 46:54they feed off of sometimes stuff like that. And why would they tear up
- 46:59ground if they're not looking for something? You know, Definitely that's a lot
- 47:02of work unless you're looking for something to eat or something you want to find.
- 47:07I found that account very interesting. I read that same account. It
- 47:12was very interesting and how that went and was almost as if this thing were
- 47:15haulking them in a way, you know, afterwards in their encounter with it.
- 47:21Very strange, very strange. Amy, thank you for that supersticker.
- 47:25I appreciate that so much. Oh my gosh, you guys everybody in the
- 47:29chat today, you guys are really with some great comments today. Man,
- 47:31I'm really enjoying this. And yes, there are some funny, funny sheep
- 47:37squash jokes going on to you. Thank you, counsel dude. I see
- 47:39those now, Okay, well let's see let's go to you. Okay.
- 47:45So it's not just West Virginia, Dennis where this thing has been spotted too.
- 47:49It was also spotted in Virginia in Virginia in twenty fifteen, so that's
- 47:53a lot more recent, even though it's still been a few years. But
- 47:59let's see, there were more campers out of the apple in the Appalachian Woods.
- 48:04They had settled down for the night. They spotted the sheep squatch crouched
- 48:09down. I was gonna say crouch down. That doesn't sound right. It
- 48:15was crouched down on a nearby hill. One of the campers alerted to its
- 48:21presence, and then as soon as everybody looked at it, the creature stood
- 48:24up. They said it was eight to nine feet tall and it had a
- 48:30shoulder with a four to five feet long Dennis, that's huge. That's like
- 48:34a sassquare size right there. But they said that it began to charge down
- 48:39the hill towards the campsite. Let's see. They oh, it came through
- 48:45the river like it ran through the river at them, and it looked like
- 48:51a dog. They were saying, it looked more like a dog. It
- 48:55let out a loud guttural yell like a screech or know that, hold on,
- 49:00let me, let me, let me back up. They said,
- 49:04is it got down and it churned at them if they heard a loud,
- 49:07guttural screech from across the mountain. Okay, so it stopped right before it
- 49:13got to them. When it heard another one screaming in the distance, it
- 49:16started, It looked at them, It took a momentary pause, and then
- 49:21it took off running towards that screech like something like it's mama got mad and
- 49:27called it back home before it got them. Yeah, man, or one
- 49:30of them, you know, you better get away from those things. I'm
- 49:34definitely without doubt these things would have some form of communication, and they do
- 49:37exhibit a curiosity, you know. They they they not to watch us to
- 49:42see what we're doing. And probably they're not only curious, that's a part
- 49:46of their survival thing. You know. Mankind is dangerous. There's the number
- 49:51one danger to these things. So they would be very wary of us.
- 49:54Definitely. I would keep an eye on strangers in my neighborhood. Definitely.
- 50:00We all do that, whether unconsciously we know it. You know, when
- 50:02somebody that we don't know shows up, we're very wary of them. That's
- 50:07the natural thing in us, that's our part of our survival thing. And
- 50:13I think these animals would have these creatures would have the same abilities and attributes
- 50:17definitely. Yeah, because mama with cookies, Yeah, Mama with cookies.
- 50:23Yeah. Well, you know that was actually it was really kind of emphasized
- 50:29and some of the reports that I was reading is the fact that the thing
- 50:32the creature stopped. And actually, because I'm not going to say it gives
- 50:37it like more of a humanistic tree or you know, just humanistic. That
- 50:45sounds that sounds kind of weird because they're definitely not humans, I mean,
- 50:47or we don't know. I don't think. I don't know. I think
- 50:50sasquatcher might just forest people, right, They've got like human elements to them,
- 50:55But it gives it more of a humanistic kind of characteristic I think.
- 51:00So here's another thing about about the sheep squatch. You don't hear too many
- 51:07actual physical attacks on people, uh, like you have heard about maybe a
- 51:14dog man supposedly doing this. Dog man's more violent in some ways in aspects
- 51:19than the sheep squatches. Like I said, he seems to be more curious
- 51:22about us and wanting to kind of warn us away or say, hey,
- 51:27this is my territory, stay out of that. Kind of thing, you
- 51:30know. And a lot of these creatures are territorial. That's just their their
- 51:34makeup. You know, that's right, we know. Okay, So I
- 51:38met a lot of really cool people at the Georgia Bigfoot Conference. And you
- 51:44know, in that area where they had the conference is one of my research
- 51:46areas actually, because we have so many sasquatch sightings up there. I mean,
- 51:51I've had That's where I've had the majority of my Bigfoot encounters was up
- 51:54there in the northeastern you know, just the northern part of Georgia, in
- 52:00the North Georgia Mountains, in the Appalachians. And I met it. I
- 52:02met a lot of cool people that live up there, and uh, and
- 52:07you know, and I never give my exact locations away, but I did
- 52:10meet a man who lived on the road, one of the roads that leads
- 52:15up to one of the spots where I go. I didn't tell him exactly
- 52:20everything, but he also wasn't telling me everything too, uh, but he
- 52:24as far as like where exactly where he lived, but he was saying that
- 52:28he doesn't go outside at night. Now I just saw, is it,
- 52:31Roger, did you just write that the only time I go out in the
- 52:34woods and hills are when are here close to where I live, so I
- 52:37can get home within walking distance if I have to. Okay, that's this
- 52:40gentleman up in the in the mountains told me that there are bigfoots all around
- 52:45his house and that he does not go outside at night at all. Okay,
- 52:51it's bad enough to where he doesn't go outside because they're they're out there
- 52:53every single night, and uh and and it's just it gives him a bad
- 52:59feeling and he's not well. He said, there's a lot of stuff in
- 53:00those ways. You said, it's not just bigfoot, but it's enough to
- 53:04keep This is a grown man. He doesn't go outside. Well, I
- 53:08think that kind of bears like common sense. You know, you can't see
- 53:13as well at night. Things can really sneak up on you. It's not
- 53:15really good. And I've often told this to people who who hunt sasquatch or
- 53:22dollar man and all, that you want to go at night, No,
- 53:24no, no, that's not a good idea usually because you can't see as
- 53:28well. It's really much better. I would much better hunt during daylight.
- 53:32Well, you can't see what it is you're looking at all. That And
- 53:36since I've never encountered doll Man myself. If I ever do, I want
- 53:39to get a good look at him. Okay, if I live to tell
- 53:43you about it, that's it. That's the interesting boy. But anyway,
- 53:46I want to get a good look at him, just like I was able
- 53:50to get a good look at Bigfoot that night. Although my incident happened at
- 53:53night time. But I would prefer you and about out there at a hunting
- 54:00daytime was the less time to do it, and not a night. It's
- 54:05much more dangerous, definitely, not just not just running in, not just
- 54:08running into these creatures. But you can get hurt out there in the woods
- 54:13very easily at night by falling over stomp or fence or whatever. So you
- 54:17got to be careful. Okay, Well that just takes the fun right out
- 54:21of it if you can't go at night time, because that's when they're all
- 54:23out there. But see, I'm a different breed of person. I like
- 54:27to be out there in the middle of the night. Matter of fact,
- 54:30I got some big footing in this past weekend when I was at the Georgia
- 54:32Bigfoot Conference. I went out in the field, went out to the woods
- 54:36end we got surrounded again, like we did last year before the conference by
- 54:39something. This time, I'm not sure what it was. It was.
- 54:45It was a bigfoot situation last year. This year it was just something.
- 54:47There was actually on all fours, okay, and it wasn't a bear,
- 54:52so it could have been a bigfoot. But yeah, it's it's it's not
- 54:57for everybody. It's bigfooting and CRYPTI rec orch out in the field is not
- 55:00for everybody for sure, And it's and even for the people who live in
- 55:04the mountains. Like I said that gentleman does not go outside at night at
- 55:07all unless there's an emergency. Now, if you're camping, you know,
- 55:12if you're camping, you're going to be out, you know. But you
- 55:14can stay in your tent, stay around your campsite. It's good. There's
- 55:17safety in numbers, definitely, And or if you've got somebody camping with you,
- 55:22whatever situation is, it's better to stay at a base than I wandering
- 55:27through the woods. That's not a good idea anytime, whether you're hunting deer
- 55:31or bear or whatever you're looking for. It's not a good idea to do
- 55:36that. Really, No, it's not. It's not. But but yeah,
- 55:40this is just another cryptid to add to the list of all the really
- 55:45interesting cryptids out on the Appalation Trail in the Appalachian Mountains. Yeah, I
- 55:52would. I would personally be hesitant to ever take a trip of the Appalation
- 55:55Trail, especially by myself. You know, people actually do that, Dennis,
- 56:00They hike the trail alone. And you got a lot of bad human
- 56:04actors out there too, And that's the bad thing about it. You know,
- 56:07there's been a lot, a lot of disappearances on the Appalachian Trail.
- 56:12I was reading a very strange account about this lady who really knew her way
- 56:16around. Was kind of like you. She knew how to deal with these
- 56:20things, but she had been doing it for years and year and years.
- 56:22She was a mushroom hunter, by the way. She would look for very
- 56:25different varieties of mushrooms. She mysteriously disappeared. You have a lot of that
- 56:31going on in the Appellations. So it's not just sheep squat. You got
- 56:35to worry about it out there, and it's a lot more to it than
- 56:37that, definitely, Yeah, a lot. Yeah. Oh, Marien,
- 56:42thank you so much for that supersticker. Oh my gosh, they're grilling her.
- 56:45Gone thank you from you and Gus. I thank you so much.
- 56:49That is so sweet. Yeah, I don't know. I mean, it
- 56:52seems like the list of cryptos around the Appollitions never runs out. I talk
- 56:58about the Appolition Mountains at this point, I feel like I do this every
- 57:00week. We're talking about something out of the Appalachian Mountains and yeah, I'm
- 57:06I'm. I don't think there's any reports of the sheep squash in Georgia.
- 57:09I have not taken any reports of that. I have not heard of any
- 57:14kind of horn bigfoot. I mean, that's that's the way I would imagine
- 57:16people would describe this thing, would be a horn bigfoot. Okay, if
- 57:21someone were to describe that to me, uh here in Georgia. So not
- 57:25heard of, definitely. Yeah. A lot of the eye witness accounts,
- 57:32that's what I like, you know, the eye one's accounts of the best.
- 57:36You get a little bit more of a picture of what you're you're you're
- 57:39you're researching when you go to that. But uh, there's a lot of
- 57:45a lot of other good authors out there who have written things on this stuff,
- 57:49and I advise people to go to them too and read some of their
- 57:52stuff. Not just on sheep squad, but on side squatch, uh,
- 57:55dog Man and all the rest of them. Uh, definitely, there's a
- 58:00lot of good books out there that you can do your research'll you know,
- 58:05there's armchair research and there's physical research, so there's a big difference, but
- 58:10they're both very important, Yes, very important. Dennis, for Candy,
- 58:16thank you so much for that supersticker. I appreciate that. Pull it up,
- 58:21thank you, I appreciate it. Dennis. Have you you've written several
- 58:25books? Okay, have you written any books on the appellation cryptids? Because
- 58:30I can tell you've done your research on this stuff before, and if you
- 58:34haven't, will you write a book on it one day? Well? I
- 58:38think the folklore is what you really need to look at folklore. That's why
- 58:43I'm so big on folk lore. It tells us a lot of things that
- 58:45we know, and it goes back so many hundreds of years. And there's
- 58:49a connection between folklore, superstition, magic and tradition and all the stories that
- 58:58you hear about on these things. They're all acted. And the more you
- 59:01the deeper you get into that, the more of a better picture you get
- 59:05on it, the more of a grass you can have on it definitely.
- 59:09Oh yeah, for sure. Candy said gas money for squatching. Oh my
- 59:14gosh, how y'all know. I love I'd love getting gas money for squatching,
- 59:17man, I do. It's uh, yeah, it's I'd love to
- 59:22go squatching more. By the way, how can I make a living out
- 59:24of this? Dentist? That's what I want to know. I'll go hunt.
- 59:28I'll go hunt a sheep squatch. Uh. Somebody wants to sponsor me?
- 59:31I need some sponsors, That's what it is. Yeah. Man,
- 59:37Well, I think I think that we've covered the sheep squatch pretty well.
- 59:40There are more encounters. As a matter of fact, I believe it was
- 59:45like Destination America. I don't know is that still a channel. I don't
- 59:49have cable, but there's maybe, says so. I don't remember, but
- 59:52I think it was like Destination America. They had a show on the sheep
- 59:57Squatch that I did watch, okay and uh, and they had a lot
- 1:00:00of eyewitness accounts Brown Dwarf, what's up? Brown? Uh? He was
- 1:00:04asking about where did all these accounts come from? Well, a lot of
- 1:00:08them came from, you know, eyewitness accounts that I was watching online of
- 1:00:13people doing videos and everything I took was from online accounts, okay, so
- 1:00:19uh and from that show as well. I never, like I said,
- 1:00:22I have never taken my own I've never taken any accounts from here in Georgia
- 1:00:27of a sheep Squash before. But mostly what we have down here are b
- 1:00:30Foot and doc small Town Monsters did a thing on Sheep Squatch one time,
- 1:00:35and small Town Monsters the Mountain Monsters. I think that's another show here.
- 1:00:40Uh you find it. It's all it's all out there, and oh yeah,
- 1:00:46I love oh Man so much. With the Gola culture to uh the
- 1:00:50plant, I an episode yeah goo go okay, so an episode a plant.
- 1:00:55I've never heard of that. The plant I a lot of I have
- 1:01:00a lot of really interesting Gala traditions, uh you know, uh, very
- 1:01:07superstitious and very deep in the folklore. I like the Gulla stuff. We
- 1:01:13might have to do a show on that sometimes, definitely. Well, you're
- 1:01:15you're over in South Carolina, so you know something about Gola tradition over there,
- 1:01:19Yeah, Charles, Oh my gosh, okay, so Tallapoosa is not
- 1:01:22far from me, okay. And my son loves that that World War that
- 1:01:28Veterans Memorial Park over there. Oh my god, that's I've done a TikTok
- 1:01:31tank that was in Tallapoosa. By the way, Charles says, the sighting
- 1:01:36in Tallapoosa was something white and very unusual other than a big foot. Wow.
- 1:01:42Okay, so that's in West Georgia. Actually, that is on the
- 1:01:45way down to the Troup Herd Corridor where I do my research, some of
- 1:01:47my research down there. So I'm going to do yeah, thank you.
- 1:01:55Yeah. And Roger said, you have the Scottish, Irish and Native American
- 1:01:59folk lore blended into the folk lore in the Appalachia. That's right, a
- 1:02:02lot of Oh yeah, that's very interesting blend. Yeah, yeah, very
- 1:02:08cool blend over there. Yeah, this is there's just so much out there.
- 1:02:15I'm gonna definitely be looking into that. To that white thing, you
- 1:02:16know, we've also got the Alabama white thing as well. And Tallapoosa basically
- 1:02:22touches Alabama. Okay, and like this whole side of the state over where
- 1:02:25I live. We're right here on the border of Alabama. My friend Glenn,
- 1:02:30who's on my team, has actually seeing the Alabama white thing, or
- 1:02:34what he believes to be. And we have that white big put up in
- 1:02:37North Georgia as well. Oh yeah, you've got a lot in Georgia,
- 1:02:42Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana by down You've got the rugaroo in Louisiana. You've
- 1:02:45got some really strange stuff going on there, and you've got the voodu influence
- 1:02:50of New Orleans in that area. And then you go into Texas, you've
- 1:02:53got some very Interestingly, the South is right with this stuff, definitely.
- 1:02:59It's I think, I think it's got something to do with our traditional outlook
- 1:03:05on our own history. In that respect, our history lives for us.
- 1:03:08In some areas, unfortunately they let their history die or go down lay love.
- 1:03:14Well, we don't do that in the South. Our history is venerated,
- 1:03:17it's remembered, and it's kind of still living with us in that respect.
- 1:03:22Oh yeah, Okay, So Hannah, Hannah, that's some of my
- 1:03:25that's some of my stomping grounds. Okay. Alabama on the Tallapoos. Tallapoos
- 1:03:30support us in Chiaha. That's they're the Talladega for us. Okay, I'd
- 1:03:35love going to Chiaha. Their entire where you go to check in, Like
- 1:03:39at the check in station, they have bigfoot wall to wall Okay, with
- 1:03:45like plush magnets, keychains, everything is bigfoot. They really embrace the bigfoot
- 1:03:52sightings that they have At Chiaha State Park in Alabama. I highly recommend going
- 1:03:55there. Lots of bigfoots in that area, and once you get to the
- 1:04:00top of that mountain there's a carved bigfoot, like a life size carved bigfoot
- 1:04:05out of a tree stump up there. So really cool stuff. Lots of
- 1:04:12bigfoots in the South, and apparently there's a new one that I'm going to
- 1:04:15be searching for in Tallapoosa. Now that might be I mean, boy,
- 1:04:19it'd be awesome to have a sheep squash down here in Georgia. I think
- 1:04:24it'd be kind of cool. Yeah, always looking for me. You know,
- 1:04:27that's the first hurt thing years ago, Jessica, when I got into
- 1:04:30crypti research, and that was many many men met years ago. Uncle,
- 1:04:34say how long ago was Anyway, that's the first thing that struck me.
- 1:04:39There's so much about Bigfoot, this God do exists. There's so much out
- 1:04:44of there. It's got to be a real thing, you know, when
- 1:04:46so many different people see things, just like with hep Squatch or with dog
- 1:04:51Man. When so many people see these things there's got to be some definitely
- 1:04:57a little bit of fire to that smoke, you know, somewhere, and
- 1:05:00that's what you look for to me, and that's where folklore comes in.
- 1:05:04It's why I'm so good on foul Loore. Folklore is sort of like the
- 1:05:09signs on the highway pointingless in the direction we need to go. Yeah,
- 1:05:14for sure, Uh, Candy, I will check my Facebook after after the
- 1:05:17show today and we will, we will definitely do that. Yeah, there's
- 1:05:24big you know, you look at the Egyptian history when you talk about these
- 1:05:28hybrids. You think about Egyptian history and NuBus and all this people with animal
- 1:05:32heads, there was a real hybrid things going on that. Those were the
- 1:05:38gods of Egypt. Anubis was the original dog round. So you've got,
- 1:05:43you know, so many different connections in our history and in our folklore and
- 1:05:47our cultures as you can't ignore them. That's right, Yeah, Charles,
- 1:05:54I totally believe it. So the Talladega Speedway is right there at the Talladega
- 1:05:59National Forest, And so for you guys who are NASCAR fans, you might
- 1:06:01know about the Talladega Speedway over there. There's also a big old prison over
- 1:06:08there. Too. Okay, don't ask me how I know. I've been
- 1:06:10there. I used to work for to Go so but yeah, there's a
- 1:06:14lot the woods are dentits out there, and there are a lot of big
- 1:06:18foot sightings and I may may not do some research out there sometimes, so
- 1:06:25I know all about it. Actually around the National Forest. You've got some
- 1:06:30weird, weird stuff going on in National Forest. Everywhere we do, we
- 1:06:35do well. Dennis. You this has been amazing. I've had a really
- 1:06:39great time talking to you today. And I know you have a show tonight

- 1:08:39I've always been hesitant about letting my son be public, okay with this
- 1:08:43stuff because he's too young at the moment. But he is going to be
