- 0:00Speaker 1: This is Kiss Breakfast all right, now it's got the
- 0:03Speaker 1: latest celeb news.
- 0:04Speaker 2: Now, what are you following?
- 0:05Speaker 3: Have you ever heard of Magnus Ferrell?
- 0:07Speaker 1: No?
- 0:08Speaker 4: Now, he's actually Will Ferrell's twenty two year old son. Okay,
- 0:12Speaker 4: and instead of following in his dad's acting footsteps, he's
- 0:15Speaker 4: making his big break into the music industry. He's going
- 0:18Speaker 4: viral at the moment because he is so good. He's
- 0:22Speaker 4: got a really specific style. I'm going to play you
- 0:24Speaker 4: his Billboard hit Asleep Talking listen to.
- 0:27Speaker 3: This mess up.
- 0:34Speaker 2: I mean, not my style, but that's cool. Yeah, he's
- 0:37Speaker 2: not hard.
- 0:40Speaker 4: But so now Will Ferrell, who actually, by the way,
- 0:50Speaker 4: isn't that bad at singing because when you think step
- 0:53Speaker 4: brothers and things like that, he does like that kind
- 0:55Speaker 4: of opera singing it.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, So he's got half a voice on him.
- 0:58Speaker 4: But Will did this fame SNL skip back in the
- 1:01Speaker 4: year two thousand where he used like a cow bell
- 1:03Speaker 4: during it and now and also at Magnus's first ever
- 1:07Speaker 4: live show back in twenty twenty two, Will brought out
- 1:09Speaker 4: the cow bell again. So now Magnus is nominated for
- 1:14Speaker 4: a VMA for Best New Artists. He's actually up against
- 1:16Speaker 4: huge names like Miles Smith and Siena Spiro and his dad.
- 1:20Speaker 4: Will Ferrell said that if he wins, he's going to
- 1:22Speaker 4: bring back the cow bell again.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Take a listen. Is there a chance that you will
- 1:26Speaker 3: play cow bell on one.
- 1:28Speaker 2: Of his songs if he wins the VMA, Yes.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Said His concern was, I don't know if my dad
- 1:34Speaker 3: has the rhythm to play on one of my songs.
- 1:36Speaker 1: Oh wow, I mean, Sean Fraser, you're amuser. The cow
- 1:40Speaker 1: bell doesn't sound good on anything.
- 1:41Speaker 3: It doesn't.
- 1:42Speaker 4: It's very rare that it ever gets used and gets
- 1:44Speaker 4: through the recording process. What would you be if you're
- 1:47Speaker 4: playing the cow bell? Would that be the drummer playing
- 1:49Speaker 4: the cowbell?
- 1:50Speaker 3: Like? You're not a cowbellist, are you? They sort of
- 1:53Speaker 3: just attach it to the drum drum kit, right.
- 1:56Speaker 4: Can you think of any songs where the cow bell
- 1:58Speaker 4: is actually used?
- 2:00Speaker 1: Like joke novelty sort of yeah, which is what Will
- 2:03Speaker 1: Ferrell was doing.
- 2:04Speaker 4: I mean that's kind of cool though if he brings
- 2:05Speaker 4: it in a song though, return to the cow bell.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Good luck Magnus Ferrell and winning that VMA.
- 2:10Speaker 4: Now music producer Benny Blanco, you may also know him
- 2:13Speaker 4: as the husband of Selena Gomez.
- 2:15Speaker 3: He put this very unusual weight loss theory to.
- 2:17Speaker 4: The test and he spent five days straight eating nothing
- 2:21Speaker 4: but one large, thin crust Domino's pizza every single day,
- 2:25Speaker 4: and he documented it on social media.
- 2:27Speaker 3: It's basically the new version of remember supersize me?
- 2:29Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, the guy that only ate macas?
- 2:32Speaker 3: Yeah, did that turn anyone off Macers.
- 2:33Speaker 1: By the way when you watch it? Or turned me
- 2:35Speaker 1: off Macers? But like who would eat it every day?
- 2:38Speaker 2: And that is all?
- 2:39Speaker 4: Yeah, And the whole thing behind that movie, right was
- 2:41Speaker 4: if they said do you want it supersized, which they
- 2:43Speaker 4: do in America, we don't have supersize here, he had
- 2:45Speaker 4: to say yes, yes, and he just ate like a
- 2:48Speaker 4: supersized McDonald's meal breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- 2:52Speaker 1: And he was really unwell, but as you would be, like,
- 2:54Speaker 1: no one should be eating that for every single meal.
- 2:57Speaker 1: So he's done it with Domino's.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Pizza, specifically one thin crust Domino's pizza each day. Take
- 3:02Speaker 4: a listen to what he said on day one of
- 3:04Speaker 4: documenting it.
- 3:06Speaker 1: Day one of only eating pizza for five days straight
- 3:08Speaker 1: to prove you can lose weight eating literally anything, I'm
- 3:12Speaker 1: going to eat one pizza a.
- 3:13Speaker 3: There and lose weight.
- 3:16Speaker 1: My pizza of choice one large, thin crust.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Look how small this piece is, Like, how's this supposed
- 3:23Speaker 3: to last me.
- 3:23Speaker 1: A whole day? I mean like you could eat anything
- 3:26Speaker 1: that if you're only eating a little bit of it,
- 3:28Speaker 1: you are going to lose.
- 3:29Speaker 4: One large pizza I mean thin crust. There isn't much
- 3:32Speaker 4: to it, and from what it looks like, his is
- 3:33Speaker 4: a mugger eta, so there's not many toppings on it.
- 3:36Speaker 4: But I suppose his point is anything in moderation is fine.
- 3:40Speaker 4: So yeah, he started this experiment at one hundred and
- 3:44Speaker 4: fifty two point two pounds or sixty nine kilos, and
- 3:47Speaker 4: five days later when he finished, he'd lost four point
- 3:51Speaker 4: seven pounds or two point one kilos.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Take a listen to what he said. I just lost
- 3:55Speaker 3: four point seven pounds and five days eating only pizza.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Nothing matters you, and do whatever you want, failure everything. Okay,
- 4:03Speaker 1: I don't see the point, by the way, as a
- 4:04Speaker 1: small dude anyway, And we're just seeing on our screen
- 4:07Speaker 1: here that's about two thy two hundred calories a day for.
- 4:10Speaker 3: One large thin crust Domino's pizza.
- 4:12Speaker 2: But that's the thing, right, Like there's a that's ay.
- 4:15Speaker 4: But I mean a man, a grown man, eating twenty
- 4:17Speaker 4: two hundred calories a day isn't that much.
- 4:19Speaker 1: When I wanted to lose weight, I had like twelve
- 4:21Speaker 1: kilos just all on my gut, yell beer. I went
- 4:26Speaker 1: on light and easy and I did I think they
- 4:29Speaker 1: had eleven hundred calories a day or it might have
- 4:32Speaker 1: been fifteen.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Hundred grossly underwater.
- 4:34Speaker 2: That is all like, yeah, but I lost the weight.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Of course you would.
- 4:37Speaker 4: That's so if you could eat anything every day. Oh,
- 4:43Speaker 4: there are just boring with that answer. As if for breakfast, lunch,
- 4:47Speaker 4: and dinner.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Oysters, sushi, I reckon lose weight on that sushi.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I'd probably go burgers.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Well, you're not going to lose weight on only eating.
- 4:56Speaker 4: Well, the whole theory here is anything in moderation
