- 0:17Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:22Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley, along with
- 0:26Speaker 1: Trade Trendholm and Raj Sharma. Today is Wednesday, May twenty one,
- 0:31Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. Social media and the Internet have done
- 0:39Speaker 1: wondrous things for our world, not only for communication but
- 0:45Speaker 1: the sharing of ideas. And I have been on the
- 0:48Speaker 1: receiving end of a shared idea recently that I'm excited
- 0:52Speaker 1: to tell you both about. And it's my wife's fault
- 0:58Speaker 1: for a change. I have been at war with weeds
- 1:03Speaker 1: since about two thousand and fifteen when we bought our
- 1:08Speaker 1: first house. Our front yard, well the entire yard had
- 1:12Speaker 1: a major, major weed problem from a weed known as
- 1:15Speaker 1: Dallas grass. It's basically crabgrass on steroids. I know that,
- 1:20Speaker 1: along with a bunch of other information about Dallas grass
- 1:24Speaker 1: that I'm not going to share with you, but I
- 1:25Speaker 1: learned because it's important to know your enemy. Well, now
- 1:31Speaker 1: I've got a new weed problem in the new house
- 1:35Speaker 1: in the driveway coming up in the cracks and stuff.
- 1:39Speaker 1: And instead of just pouring round up all over it,
- 1:43Speaker 1: or even baking soda, which I've also tried, there is
- 1:47Speaker 1: a new method thanks to the Internet that I'm now
- 1:50Speaker 1: going to try.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 1:53Speaker 1: I'm going to let this very irresponsible young ladies share
- 1:57Speaker 1: with you when I'm going to be going to the
- 1:59Speaker 1: weeds of my.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Driveway torture weeds instead of bending over and picking them up.
- 2:03Speaker 3: I got this slang torch on Amazon for under fifty dollars,
- 2:05Speaker 3: and it has made this job so much easier. It
- 2:07Speaker 3: took me about twenty minutes to do this out of
- 2:09Speaker 3: the pool, and honestly, it would have gone much quicker
- 2:10Speaker 3: if I didn't almost start two fires. That is of
- 2:12Speaker 3: no fault all the products. I just wasn't thinking and
- 2:14Speaker 3: shot fire right at my wooden staircase. I did accidentally
- 2:17Speaker 3: burn a slight hole in it, but we'll fix that
- 2:19Speaker 3: another day. Here's something before and after shots. It's looking
- 2:22Speaker 3: so much better. Come at the word torch and I'll
- 2:23Speaker 3: send you a link to the flame torch right to
- 2:25Speaker 3: your DMS.
- 2:28Speaker 1: So, just in case you missed the first part, here
- 2:30Speaker 1: we go again.
- 2:30Speaker 3: You know that you could flame torture weeds instead of
- 2:32Speaker 3: bending over and picking them up. I got this slang
- 2:33Speaker 3: torch on Amazon for under fifty dollars and it.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I'm getting a flamethrower I have. I am
- 2:41Speaker 1: taking my war on weeds to a whole new level.
- 2:46Speaker 1: I'm going to win this war with fire. Also, if
- 2:51Speaker 1: you don't see me at our next regularly scheduled treehouse
- 2:57Speaker 1: show airing, you'll know.
- 2:59Speaker 4: Why is that called a flame or a torch?
- 3:07Speaker 1: That's I believe it's a flame thrower. She may call
- 3:14Speaker 1: it a flame torch. I'm not sure what Amazon specifically
- 3:17Speaker 1: calls it. I don't know. If there's some sort of
- 3:20Speaker 1: ATF keyword thing that some people are trying to avoid.
- 3:24Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 3:24Speaker 1: But for less than fifty dollars on Amazon, I can
- 3:27Speaker 1: get a flamethrower. I am gonna. I am gonna torch
- 3:31Speaker 1: some weeds.
- 3:32Speaker 2: I can't wait. Oh yeah, yeah, you're looking, aren't you.
- 3:39Speaker 5: Oh yeah, excited.
- 3:41Speaker 1: We're excited.
- 3:42Speaker 5: Ra the white people just getting it brings me joy.
- 3:50Speaker 1: I think a flamethrower is something that can unite all
- 3:52Speaker 1: the races. I think. I think I think we can
- 3:57Speaker 1: appreciate the eradication of me from your home, Trey, like
- 4:01Speaker 1: you live in an apartment right now. I bet, I
- 4:03Speaker 1: bet if you get one of these flamethrowers, you'll be
- 4:05Speaker 1: out there with the landscaping crew taking care of weeds.
- 4:08Speaker 4: Yeah, and being a pyro is is not bound by race.
- 4:15Speaker 4: Everyone enjoys setting things on fire.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Rush That's right, it's it's part of our innate. It's
- 4:24Speaker 1: it's we love fire, man love fire, and if given
- 4:28Speaker 1: the opportunity to kill something with fire, we do it.
- 4:31Speaker 1: And now I can do it with weeds. I I
- 4:35Speaker 1: really had no idea you could actually just kind of
- 4:37Speaker 1: flame girl your weeds and they would go away. I
- 4:39Speaker 1: never thought about it, but that lady showed it right
- 4:41Speaker 1: there in proof of her video along with the link
- 4:43Speaker 1: to the flame torch. You can actually torture weeds, and
- 4:46Speaker 1: I'm going to.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Does it really matter if it works or not?
- 4:54Speaker 1: Ultimately, I would prefer if it worked, but if it doesn't,
- 4:58Speaker 1: I'm still gonna have a fun Saturday.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, you may have to do it once
- 5:02Speaker 4: a month, but yeah, that's just all the better.
- 5:05Speaker 1: And I'm just hoping it comes in discrete packaging because
- 5:08Speaker 1: I don't want anyone asking any questions at the UPS store.
- 5:15Speaker 1: You just leave me alone with my stuff.

- 7:00Speaker 1: This is the Treehouse Show. I'm Daniel Malley along with
- 7:03Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Today is Wednesday, May twenty first,
- 7:07Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. Last I checked, Defender Outdoors does not
- 7:10Speaker 1: sell flamethrowers, but Amazon does. And I appreciate the lady
- 7:17Speaker 1: on Instagram coming up in my wife's feed. And then
- 7:22Speaker 1: my wife made one of the biggest mistakes of our
- 7:24Speaker 1: marriage by sending me a link to a flame thrower
- 7:28Speaker 1: on Amazon for less than fifty dollars. I'm going to
- 7:31Speaker 1: eradicate some weeds this weekend, and Trey, you don't even
- 7:34Speaker 1: have a house, you don't even have your own weeds,
- 7:36Speaker 1: and you're gonna get one.
- 7:37Speaker 4: I mean they're weeds everywhere. I will do, you know,
- 7:42Speaker 4: public service and take on weeds.
- 7:46Speaker 1: You're gonna adopt a highway.
- 7:47Speaker 4: I am. I am shocked that Tara did not exercise
- 7:58Speaker 4: better judgment and not send you that.
- 8:02Speaker 1: This is how, this is how I know she loves
- 8:04Speaker 1: me or hates me. Maybe she sees it as well.
- 8:10Speaker 1: I'll get rid of the weeds and he'll torch himself
- 8:12Speaker 1: in the process. Yay single, But she knows, she knows
- 8:17Speaker 1: how against weeds I am. That was really when we
- 8:20Speaker 1: bought our first house back in twenty fifteen, it had
- 8:22Speaker 1: a massive weed problem, and I was at war with
- 8:26Speaker 1: those things or quite a while. And now that we
- 8:29Speaker 1: have a weed issue in our house, now I'm once
- 8:32Speaker 1: again it's weed War two. And I didn't know flame.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I didn't know fire was a weapon at my disposal
- 8:41Speaker 1: in We'd War one. But now with we'd War two,
- 8:44Speaker 1: I'm going with fire and I'm excited and I can't wait.
- 8:48Speaker 1: And I am wondering what the shipping is going to
- 8:50Speaker 1: be like on the flamethrower. Does that qualify for prime?
- 8:54Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 8:56Speaker 5: Yeah, that's yeah.
- 8:58Speaker 2: What's the worst gonna happen?
- 8:59Speaker 4: I mean your house and you know, surrounded by a
- 9:03Speaker 4: lot of vegetation.
- 9:07Speaker 1: I think I think it'll be fine as long as
- 9:10Speaker 1: I keep the nozzle narrow. Also, I think it'll be
- 9:15Speaker 1: important that I wear close toe shoes. And in addition
- 9:19Speaker 1: to that, while this torch was being used on weeds
- 9:23Speaker 1: around this lady's pool in the video that I saw,
- 9:27Speaker 1: I think it's important to note that I think I
- 9:29Speaker 1: think your own personal flamethrower has multiple uses because this
- 9:33Speaker 1: is also how I can get spiders.
- 9:37Speaker 5: But don't spiders like eat insects and things that like
- 9:41Speaker 5: can damage vegetation.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Look, I'm a human with a flamethrower. I'm not concerned
- 9:48Speaker 1: with the surrounding ecosystem.
- 9:49Speaker 6: Raj.
- 9:50Speaker 5: That is true.
- 9:51Speaker 1: I'm fun and destruction.
- 9:54Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I get that. That's that's really cool.
- 9:56Speaker 5: And this is where I get envious of white people
- 9:59Speaker 5: is you can order a flamethrower and you're worried about shipping.
- 10:04Speaker 1: You can too, Raj. Just have it sent to the
- 10:06Speaker 1: Treehouse Media ups store. Do not have it sent to
- 10:10Speaker 1: Raj Sharma.
- 10:11Speaker 5: Yeah, because that comes with a visit from ATF and ice.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Yes all together, and they also bring flame throwers, but
- 10:18Speaker 1: that's not the one you want.
- 10:21Speaker 5: Hey, rog, how did you end up in an al
- 10:22Speaker 5: Salvadory in prison? Tree House?
- 10:26Speaker 1: Amazon Prime?
- 10:27Speaker 5: Got me again?
- 10:30Speaker 1: I can actually segue from this to something else somewhat related.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Have you guys in relationships? Have you ever spied on
- 10:38Speaker 1: your partner or has your partner ever spied on you?
- 10:43Speaker 5: I've not, but I've been spied on.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Okay, the way I can segue here is that.
- 10:52Speaker 2: All right? No, I really can't.
- 10:53Speaker 1: I thought it was gonna be something like a time,
- 10:54Speaker 1: but I can't. Ultimately, there's new technology that exists. New
- 10:59Speaker 1: tech technology exists for you to spy on your partner's
- 11:03Speaker 1: phone habits, whatever they're doing on their phone. And it's
- 11:08Speaker 1: no longer just going through the phone when they leave
- 11:11Speaker 1: the room, because there's now software that partners in relationships
- 11:20Speaker 1: can use the same type of spyware that hackers use.
- 11:24Speaker 1: People are often told to protect their smartphones from outside hackers,
- 11:28Speaker 1: but not their partners. According to Mark Porcar, the CEO
- 11:32Speaker 1: of QR Code Generator, your significant other could be spying
- 11:36Speaker 1: on your text messages, calls, and even locations using sophisticated
- 11:41Speaker 1: monitoring software without you even realizing it. The scary part
- 11:45Speaker 1: besides all of it is that your significant other can
- 11:48Speaker 1: install spyware software by downloading an app onto your phone
- 11:51Speaker 1: if they have physical access to it, and you may
- 11:55Speaker 1: not ever know. So spying on your partners has now
- 12:00Speaker 1: gone to a new level. Keep an eye on any
- 12:03Speaker 1: suspicious new apps on your phone.
- 12:07Speaker 5: Yeah, I had a buddy of mine his out of Connecticut.
- 12:11Speaker 5: His living girlfriend cloned his phone. So anytime a text
- 12:16Speaker 5: message came to him, it came to the phone that
- 12:18Speaker 5: she had as well.
- 12:19Speaker 1: Holy Insecurity Batman.
- 12:21Speaker 5: Yeah, and then my ex she would just randomly go
- 12:24Speaker 5: through the first time she went through my phone, she
- 12:25Speaker 5: found nothing and she's like, I'm so sorry, I'll never
- 12:28Speaker 5: do it again, and then did it multiple times, and
- 12:30Speaker 5: I'm like, and just took things out of context, and
- 12:33Speaker 5: if I had to, like, like I go read the
- 12:37Speaker 5: other text messages before what you read, and then it'd
- 12:41Speaker 5: be like, you know, oh, I'm sorry, Oh, I'm sorry,
- 12:42Speaker 5: And it just kept happening, and I was like, you
- 12:44Speaker 5: know what, I'm just going to change my pass code.
- 12:47Speaker 5: But yeah, it was It's a complete violation of privacy.
- 12:50Speaker 5: I'm not doing anything wrong, So go ahead and go
- 12:52Speaker 5: through it. I don't care, but ask me, like, I'll
- 12:56Speaker 5: give you the phone, but to put in software that's
- 13:00Speaker 5: like my people developed that, and who's spying on an
- 13:07Speaker 5: arranged marriage? Come on now.
- 13:11Speaker 1: But it is fascinating because this is something that with
- 13:14Speaker 1: the cell phones social media so much access, it's easier
- 13:18Speaker 1: now to keep tabs on your significant other. Like Tara
- 13:23Speaker 1: and I finally started sharing our location with each other.
- 13:28Speaker 1: She's technically been doing it with me for a while,
- 13:31Speaker 1: but for some reason there was some sort of a
- 13:33Speaker 1: hiccup I wasn't able to share it with her. We
- 13:35Speaker 1: were able to figure it out. So now she knows
- 13:37Speaker 1: where I am at all times, and honestly, and it's
- 13:40Speaker 1: not because of a spying thing. That's actually because of
- 13:42Speaker 1: a safety thing.
- 13:45Speaker 5: Did you get lost her?
- 13:46Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 13:47Speaker 1: Yeah, because you know, my memory is not so good.
- 13:49Speaker 1: You know, I'm one blow to the head from being
- 13:52Speaker 1: a silver alert, so she needs to know where I
- 13:54Speaker 1: am at all times.
- 13:57Speaker 5: Yeah, the X got me an Apple tracker for my
- 13:59Speaker 5: wall because I would leave my wallet like I'd lose
- 14:01Speaker 5: it all the time. But I got an Apple tracker
- 14:04Speaker 5: and then I set it up and the location was
- 14:07Speaker 5: already set, like the location finder was already set. So yeah,
- 14:12Speaker 5: she knew where I was as well. So and I
- 14:15Speaker 5: didn't know. I'm like, I don't even know how to
- 14:16Speaker 5: work this. I'm that type of Indian, like I can
- 14:19Speaker 5: check email and I'm good.
- 14:21Speaker 2: You know.
- 14:21Speaker 1: On this show, we try to share funny things with
- 14:23Speaker 1: you that brighten your day, and in this case, we
- 14:28Speaker 1: can share some really useful information. If you are worried
- 14:33Speaker 1: about your significant other cloning your phone or installing spyware
- 14:38Speaker 1: on it so they know what you're doing at all times,
- 14:41Speaker 1: where you are, who you're speaking to, all of it.
- 14:45Speaker 1: If you're worried about that, get a burner phone problem solve.
- 14:51Speaker 6: Or.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Get a new person, get a different relationship.
- 14:56Speaker 5: Yeah, that's exactly right.
- 14:59Speaker 2: I'm sitting here going and.
- 15:03Speaker 4: Crazy is my forte, but insecurity is not, because I
- 15:07Speaker 4: don't think I've ever had a girl where that was
- 15:09Speaker 4: an issue.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Yeah, don't those two go hand in hand, tray crazy
- 15:14Speaker 1: and insecure.
- 15:17Speaker 4: Not insecure about the relationship. Yeah, insecure about themselves. That's
- 15:22Speaker 4: a whole nother story.
- 15:23Speaker 1: But uh, you're fine with crazy. You just want to
- 15:26Speaker 1: make sure that she's confidently crazy. Yeah, you know, I
- 15:29Speaker 1: was just gonna say the same thing.
- 15:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean the crazy I want to know where
- 15:35Speaker 4: you are at all times.
- 15:36Speaker 2: Deal.
- 15:37Speaker 4: No, that's that's an instant no for me. Yeah, And
- 15:42Speaker 4: not that I'm doing anything wrong, but that I just know.
- 15:45Speaker 1: So if if she burns down your house, it's not
- 15:49Speaker 1: going to be because of a trust issue.
- 15:52Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, if she brings down my house, they'll
- 15:54Speaker 4: they'll be you know, a version two point zero of
- 15:57Speaker 4: our relationship. But if she's tried let's try making software
- 16:00Speaker 4: on my phone.
- 16:01Speaker 2: No, that's it.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Draw a line.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Yeah, standards, you're.
- 16:07Speaker 6: Listening to the tree House.
- 16:09Speaker 7: Visit us online at treehouseonair dot com.

- 16:43Speaker 1: of excellent sponsors to the foundation because Daniel, you and

- 17:11Speaker 10: this is a foundation nobody wants to have to donate to.
- 17:14Speaker 10: But it's the real world is that these things do happen,
- 17:16Speaker 10: and it's it's it's the type of foundation that you
- 17:20Speaker 10: don't want around, but you definitely want it to be,
- 17:23Speaker 10: you know, available to the families that need it. And
- 17:25Speaker 10: so over the next couple of months, you know, a
- 17:28Speaker 10: portion of all the proceeds from the work done from
- 17:31Speaker 10: Treehouse Listeners that call in and let us know that
- 17:33Speaker 10: they heard about you on the show, we're going to
- 17:36Speaker 10: be donating to the RMS tree House Listeners Foundation and
- 17:39Speaker 10: making sure that we can keep that very stable in
- 17:43Speaker 10: the accounting side and and have funds available that when
- 17:47Speaker 10: the families need it, it's going to be there.
- 17:49Speaker 2: So we're very.
- 17:50Speaker 10: Fortunate to be a part of the organization and we
- 17:53Speaker 10: look forward to try and assist and help it as
- 17:55Speaker 10: much as we can.

- 19:09Speaker 1: just talking about the possibility that your significant other. What
- 19:15Speaker 1: if your significant other was using spywear to track everything
- 19:19Speaker 1: you do on your phone. My wife doesn't have to
- 19:23Speaker 1: worry about that because I'm apparently no good anymore. I
- 19:28Speaker 1: found out yesterday by going to the coffee shop that
- 19:31Speaker 1: my wife has nothing to worry about when it comes
- 19:33Speaker 1: to me and other women, because I apparently give women
- 19:38Speaker 1: the ick. Now, no, I've now reached the age where
- 19:45Speaker 1: I am a gross old man, apparently, because at the
- 19:47Speaker 1: coffee shop yesterday, i'm picking up our order, I'm walking
- 19:51Speaker 1: out the door. There was a group of young women
- 19:54Speaker 1: and one of them sneezed. I don't know how old
- 19:56Speaker 1: they are, because I'm also at the age where I
- 19:58Speaker 1: can't tell between I can't tell between someone who's in
- 20:02Speaker 1: their teens or their twenties. So we walked past this
- 20:04Speaker 1: group of girls at the coffee shop. One of them sneezes.
- 20:07Speaker 1: I say, bless you. As I'm walking out. She stands up.
- 20:11Speaker 1: She's had her face on her phone. She looks up
- 20:13Speaker 1: at me and then looks me up and down and
- 20:15Speaker 1: has that snarl look on her face and just goes yes, wow.
- 20:20Speaker 1: Like all I said was black the You're lucky I'm
- 20:24Speaker 1: not Trey. Yeah, because I may give you the ick,
- 20:28Speaker 1: but he'd give you the.
- 20:33Speaker 5: Also. Back in like medieval times, they thought it was
- 20:35Speaker 5: a demon leaving your body so you can. They used
- 20:38Speaker 5: to say go to hell after you sneeze, So yeah,
- 20:41Speaker 5: you should have just gone I'm sorry. I don't mean
- 20:43Speaker 5: to say bless you. Go to hell.
- 20:45Speaker 1: You're right. At that point, it's like, oh, I apparently
- 20:47Speaker 1: woke the demon within. Go back to your own thing.
- 20:52Speaker 1: And I really was surprised by it. I was like,
- 20:54Speaker 1: all I said was bless you, and she's like, yeah,
- 20:57Speaker 1: Like I'm not a hitting on you. I'm just saying
- 20:59Speaker 1: I'm being polite.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Some I almost said women drive me crazy. Well, it's true.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Some people drive me crazy. The assumptions that people have
- 21:11Speaker 1: and the entitlement, the vanity, that arrogance to assume that
- 21:16Speaker 1: I'm some creepy old man just because I said bless
- 21:21Speaker 1: you when you sneezed. I don't care about you in
- 21:26Speaker 1: that way. I care about you enough as a human
- 21:30Speaker 1: to say bless you as you sneeze, partly because I
- 21:32Speaker 1: was walking by you and I thought, hey, this will
- 21:34Speaker 1: be polite. I was raised with manners. She apparently was not.
- 21:39Speaker 1: All I said was bless you, and she goes, yeah.
- 21:42Speaker 5: When I was living in Los Angeles and I would
- 21:45Speaker 5: say yes, ma'am, and I can't tell you there was
- 21:48Speaker 5: maybe three four times I'm not a mam. Are you
- 21:51Speaker 5: saying I'm old and I'm like, no, no, no, I'm
- 21:53Speaker 5: from Texas. That's what that's what we do. Yeah, I
- 21:58Speaker 5: mean I've seen I've seen that before. Holding the door
- 22:00Speaker 5: open for somebody. I'll do it now. I like, I
- 22:02Speaker 5: don't care, like I'll hold the hold the door open.
- 22:04Speaker 11: Uh.
- 22:05Speaker 5: And if they, you know, a lady walks through and
- 22:06Speaker 5: doesn't say thank you, I'll just out loud go you're welcome.
- 22:09Speaker 5: I do that too, yeah, every single time, because that's
- 22:12Speaker 5: better than me snatching you back and taking you back
- 22:15Speaker 5: outside and shutting the door.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:17Speaker 1: It's it's weird because I have a heart on for manners.
- 22:19Speaker 1: It's not in a sexual way, but like you know, yeah,
- 22:25Speaker 1: I I honestly don't know a better way to put it.
- 22:28Speaker 1: But it's like, come on, people, some people just don't
- 22:30Speaker 1: have manners. Some people don't have consideration for others, and
- 22:34Speaker 1: that's that's frustrating for those of us that do. And
- 22:38Speaker 1: I've been in the same boat as you rise where
- 22:41Speaker 1: I've held I've held the door for someone and this
- 22:43Speaker 1: is you know, male or female usually to me, who
- 22:45Speaker 1: about's happened with guys too? If they don't say thank you,
- 22:48Speaker 1: I will say to their back you're welcome.
- 22:51Speaker 5: Yeah, I have yet to, and I'll do the same thing,
- 22:55Speaker 5: hold the door open for men and women if I'm
- 22:57Speaker 5: walking in. I have yet to encounter another dude that
- 23:00Speaker 5: doesn't say thank you or good looking out whatever, though
- 23:04Speaker 5: there's always an acknowledgment. I've a hundred women I've encountered
- 23:09Speaker 5: where I've had to yell out thank you or you're welcome,
- 23:12Speaker 5: you're welcome, and they just turn around and give you
- 23:15Speaker 5: that look. I'm like, no, no, you're welcome. Yeah. So
- 23:18Speaker 5: and then and women like chivalry is dead, Well, you're
- 23:20Speaker 5: killing it. You're the murderer. Don't don't complain when the
- 23:26Speaker 5: victim dies.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Well, and also don't get online and complain. Where are
- 23:30Speaker 1: all the good men?
- 23:31Speaker 5: Yeah, exactly exactly, we're here.
- 23:35Speaker 1: We're the ones. We're the ones that held the door
- 23:38Speaker 1: open for you and then you scoffed at it, Or
- 23:40Speaker 1: are the ones that said bless you when you sneeze
- 23:43Speaker 1: and you.
- 23:43Speaker 5: Go yeah yeah. If you want us on our best behavior,
- 23:47Speaker 5: be on yours as well.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Good men, don't like what.
- 23:54Speaker 1: We should have just started with. Trey didn't need any
- 23:59Speaker 1: of that conversation.

- 24:51Speaker 1: This is the Treehouse Show. I'm Daniel Maley along with
- 24:53Speaker 1: Tree Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Trey You are single, Raj,
- 25:01Speaker 1: you are single, so I have good news for you.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Sophia Virgara is also single.
- 25:08Speaker 5: All right, yeah, yeah.
- 25:15Speaker 1: There's now two reasons to celebrate hump Day. I mean, unfortunately,
- 25:22Speaker 1: I have to balance out this good news with some
- 25:24Speaker 1: bad news. While if you guys are courageous enough to
- 25:27Speaker 1: shoot your shot with Sophia Sophia Virgara, there is one
- 25:32Speaker 1: minor issue you might encounter in trying to date her.
- 25:37Speaker 1: She isn't interested in scrubs. So Via Virghara doesn't want
- 25:43Speaker 1: no scrubs. She wants a guy who makes as much
- 25:46Speaker 1: money as her or more. It's going to be very difficult,
- 25:51Speaker 1: because Sophia Virgara is quite wealthy, she says. Her reasoning
- 25:57Speaker 1: for only wanting to date men who are worth as
- 26:00Speaker 1: much of as much as her or more is because
- 26:04Speaker 1: if she makes more than the guy, it's a nightmare.
- 26:07Speaker 1: She says, they end up resenting you. Now, there are
- 26:10Speaker 1: some people thinking that Sophia is hinting that that's what
- 26:14Speaker 1: happened with her now ex husband Joe man Janello, who's
- 26:17Speaker 1: also an actor. Sophia has a net worth of one
- 26:22Speaker 1: hundred and eighty million dollars. Her now ex husband Joe
- 26:26Speaker 1: Manjanello was only worth forty now only I feel like,
- 26:33Speaker 1: once you're in the millions and tens of millions of dollars,
- 26:36Speaker 1: it really seems like it wouldn't be that. I realize
- 26:39Speaker 1: one hundred and eighty million dollars is a lot more
- 26:41Speaker 1: money than forty million dollars, But when you have tens
- 26:46Speaker 1: of millions of dollars to your name, I feel like
- 26:49Speaker 1: you're pretty secure in it, or at least you should be.
- 26:53Speaker 4: You have to wonder, though, if the resentment comes from
- 26:57Speaker 4: her saying, well, why don't you make more money.
- 27:02Speaker 1: That's a legitimate question, or that's a legitimate point. We
- 27:06Speaker 1: don't know his side of it. We don't know if
- 27:09Speaker 1: she is pointing out, why do I always have to
- 27:12Speaker 1: buy the caviat.
- 27:13Speaker 4: Well, and I'm not saying, you know, anything bad about her,
- 27:18Speaker 4: but I am sure with Modern Family those last couple
- 27:21Speaker 4: of seasons, she's making probably a million an episode or
- 27:25Speaker 4: something close to it, and that's where the majority of
- 27:28Speaker 4: her money comes.
- 27:30Speaker 2: She was fantastic on that show, but.
- 27:33Speaker 5: You know, she was female Ricky Ricardo. That's that's her role.
- 27:38Speaker 4: But you know a lot of sitcoms that's just you know,
- 27:43Speaker 4: luck on what takes off and what doesn't.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Yeah, now she's taken that fame from Modern Family and
- 27:50Speaker 1: spun that into other projects. She was able to join
- 27:53Speaker 1: the cast of America's Got Talent, so she's I don't
- 27:56Speaker 1: know if she's still doing that, but that paid a
- 27:58Speaker 1: lot of money. And then on top of that, she's
- 28:00Speaker 1: got the licensing deals with beauty products and furniture line
- 28:05Speaker 1: like it with I Believe It's Rooms to Go. So
- 28:08Speaker 1: I mean she's licensed lots of stuff to make even
- 28:11Speaker 1: more money outside of her actual acting gigs. Now I
- 28:15Speaker 1: can understand if her career is better than the person
- 28:21Speaker 1: that she's with, Like Joe Manganello, she is an A
- 28:24Speaker 1: list celebrity, he is not. She'sara. And while he is
- 28:30Speaker 1: still you know, a good actor and he's an action guy,
- 28:35Speaker 1: he's still he's not her level. So I don't think
- 28:38Speaker 1: it necessarily has to do with how much money the
- 28:40Speaker 1: guy has. It might just be resentment for her having
- 28:44Speaker 1: just such a huge career and he doesn't.
- 28:47Speaker 5: I mean that that has nothing to do with talent.
- 28:50Speaker 5: That's a really good agent who's getting her these deals.
- 28:53Speaker 5: Why she's on America's got talent. I have no idea.
- 28:55Speaker 5: She is one. She can do one role and that's it.
- 28:58Speaker 5: Is pretty ditsy chick as opposed to her. Now x
- 29:04Speaker 5: he's a talented actor and forty million dollars not too shabby. Okay, Yeah,
- 29:08Speaker 5: let's see where his career goes in the future. And
- 29:10Speaker 5: I mean that speaks volumes about her, like if that's
- 29:13Speaker 5: why you're leave, Like I mean, if you look at
- 29:15Speaker 5: like Julie Roberts married a cameraman from I can't remember
- 29:18Speaker 5: which movie she was on. She fell in love with
- 29:20Speaker 5: the camera guy. They have three kids, happily married. He
- 29:23Speaker 5: makes substantially less money then and will never even come
- 29:28Speaker 5: close to what she makes or what she's worth, you know.
- 29:32Speaker 5: But then you get somebody like Jennifer Lopez who starts
- 29:34Speaker 5: dating you know, Ben Affleck again, who's very, very wealthy,
- 29:38Speaker 5: and they can't make it work right. So it all
- 29:41Speaker 5: it's your agent, it's timing, it's luck. But she's gonna
- 29:45Speaker 5: get typecast is one role.
- 29:46Speaker 1: Yeah, the the on the relationship side of things. It's
- 29:51Speaker 1: unfair to anyone else for you to set a certain
- 29:55Speaker 1: standard that would exclude somebody based on one thing that
- 29:59Speaker 1: they they not have a whole lot of control over.
- 30:03Speaker 1: I think what mostly you should want out of out
- 30:05Speaker 1: of a partner or a relationship is someone that loves
- 30:09Speaker 1: you and respects you, and that you do the same
- 30:11Speaker 1: for them, regardless of who has the better career, which
- 30:16Speaker 1: can be subjective, who has more money. That's really not subjective.
- 30:21Speaker 1: But let's also keep in mind, when you're worth one
- 30:24Speaker 1: hundred and eighty million dollars and you only want to
- 30:26Speaker 1: date people that are worth as much as you or more,
- 30:31Speaker 1: your options are going to drastically dwindle. And by the way,
- 30:34Speaker 1: a lot of the guys that have that amount of
- 30:36Speaker 1: money you don't want to touch with a ten foot pole,
- 30:40Speaker 1: or they don't want to touch her.
- 30:42Speaker 5: I mean they have. I mean when you get, when
- 30:44Speaker 5: you get and then let's just call it what it is,
- 30:46Speaker 5: when you get guys with that much money. I mean,
- 30:48Speaker 5: look at Jeff Bezos. He went from who he was
- 30:51Speaker 5: married to forever and then he's like, oh, I'm worth
- 30:54Speaker 5: hundreds of billions of dollars. Okay, I will take her please,
- 30:58Speaker 5: you know what I mean.
- 30:58Speaker 2: It's like and ma.
- 30:59Speaker 1: Yacht and yeah, because she has her standard that she
- 31:03Speaker 1: only wants to date guys that have a certain amount
- 31:06Speaker 1: of wealth, whereas the wealthy guy may also have his standard,
- 31:09Speaker 1: which may include he doesn't want women with opinions.
- 31:13Speaker 4: Yeah, well the that, and the wealthy guy generally is
- 31:18Speaker 4: gonna want the woman in her twenties, Bill Belichick, because.
- 31:27Speaker 1: If he's gonna do beats yoga, it's not gonna be
- 31:29Speaker 1: with a fifty five year old actress. It's gonna be
- 31:31Speaker 1: with a twenty five year old yogi.
- 31:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:37Speaker 5: When they do goat yoga, he's the goat.

- 32:31Speaker 1: He's trade. That's RAJ. Today is Wednesday, May twenty first,
- 32:35Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. Let's celebrate today with some birthdays, starting
- 32:43Speaker 1: with former Texas Ranger Josh Hamilton. He is forty four today,
- 32:51Speaker 1: and what a interesting life and baseball career mister Josh
- 32:55Speaker 1: Hamilton had. He could have been the king of of
- 33:00Speaker 1: the Rangers franchise and then he just really drank it
- 33:06Speaker 1: all away.
- 33:08Speaker 5: Well. It was also the reason for all the tattoos.
- 33:11Speaker 5: Was wasn't his shooting meth like for years and years?
- 33:14Speaker 6: In years?
- 33:15Speaker 1: I think yeah, And he had he had a very
- 33:17Speaker 1: serious drug and alcohol problem. I believe he started out
- 33:22Speaker 1: with the Reds. Maybe he ended up there. Anyway, he
- 33:26Speaker 1: started out major leagues, had massive amounts of problems. Then
- 33:28Speaker 1: the Rangers ended up signing him and he has a
- 33:31Speaker 1: career comeback the likes of which is rarely seen in
- 33:34Speaker 1: professional sports. And that's when we get the heyday of
- 33:39Speaker 1: the Rangers, the Antler and the Claw, all that fun
- 33:43Speaker 1: going to back to back World Series, massive disappointments and
- 33:46Speaker 1: not winning them. And then Josh Hamilton goes to the
- 33:50Speaker 1: Angels on free agency and says, you know, DFW and
- 33:55Speaker 1: Arlington is not a baseball town. He also kind of
- 33:58Speaker 1: limped out of here because he looked really lazy in
- 34:01Speaker 1: the outfield and things. Just a guy that looked like
- 34:03Speaker 1: he kind of quit, while also going around telling everyone
- 34:06Speaker 1: how important Jesus is and then asking Ian Kinsler to
- 34:10Speaker 1: come pick him up at the bar On Park in
- 34:13Speaker 1: seventy five in Dallas because he had had too much
- 34:15Speaker 1: to drink and he was hooking up with some chick
- 34:18Speaker 1: in the bathroom at that was not his wife. So
- 34:22Speaker 1: he had an interesting tenure here as in Texas Ranger.
- 34:29Speaker 1: And then later in life and like the last couple
- 34:31Speaker 1: of years there was he got arrested for, you know,
- 34:34Speaker 1: abusing his own kids. I don't know how how bad
- 34:39Speaker 1: that truly was. I don't know if that was bad.
- 34:41Speaker 1: Like when we were growing up bad or just bad
- 34:43Speaker 1: by today's standards, but he's had some issues.
- 34:46Speaker 2: Yeah, it's funny, yeaid, I don't I don't know if that.
- 34:50Speaker 4: I think I'm gonna guess the charges got dropped on
- 34:52Speaker 4: that because I don't remember ever.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Hearing anything else on that.
- 34:57Speaker 5: Which one.
- 34:59Speaker 2: When he was arrested for abusing child abuse?
- 35:03Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, but the one with the bathroom, wasn't he
- 35:06Speaker 5: hooking up with somebody and then also not letting them,
- 35:08Speaker 5: like blocking the entrance to the or the entrance to
- 35:13Speaker 5: the bathroom like he was walking. Yes, I get, I
- 35:18Speaker 5: get my rapists confused.
- 35:21Speaker 1: As far as I know, everything with with Josh Hamilton
- 35:24Speaker 1: was completely consensual. And rothles Burger, there's some question works there.
- 35:28Speaker 5: I don't know if there's any question marks. There's some
- 35:32Speaker 5: there's some people that got paid off to tell a
- 35:33Speaker 5: different story. Yeah, I'm sorry, go ahead, No, No, I just
- 35:39Speaker 5: I remember that story and I was like, man, that's
- 35:42Speaker 5: one hell of a TGI Fridays or wherever that was
- 35:47Speaker 5: with or with Josh Josh Slock's okay, Yeah, that.
- 35:52Speaker 1: Was the Dallas location of Sherlocks at seventy five in
- 35:55Speaker 1: Park Lane.
- 35:55Speaker 2: May it rest in peace, R I P.
- 35:59Speaker 5: I know.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Oh, it's kind of like one of those things. It's
- 36:01Speaker 1: like I've been there. I've been in that bathroom. Not
- 36:03Speaker 1: with Josh Hamilton, because totally different story. I'd be telling
- 36:10Speaker 1: I really love baseball, and I too would be getting paid.
- 36:20Speaker 6: You're in the treehouse.

- 37:07Speaker 1: Are you guys familiar with the liver King. The liver King.
- 37:12Speaker 5: Um, that's the bodybuilder on Instagram, the social media fitness
- 37:18Speaker 5: influencer known as the liver King.
- 37:21Speaker 1: He uh, turns out he's a big fat liar. Despite
- 37:27Speaker 1: all his muscles, He's a big fat liar. The fitness
- 37:30Speaker 1: influencer known as the Liver King was exposed for lying
- 37:34Speaker 1: to millions of his followers. What a shock Someone online
- 37:39Speaker 1: is a big fat liar. He was claiming he was
- 37:45Speaker 1: following a very specific, bizarre diet and lifting a crazy
- 37:49Speaker 1: amount of weight in the gym. His name is Brian Johnson.
- 37:52Speaker 1: He is known best as the Liver King. What got
- 37:57Speaker 1: him that name was for his barbarian in like ways,
- 38:01Speaker 1: a very strict caveman diet which he claimed consisted of
- 38:05Speaker 1: animal liver testicles and fertilized chicken eggs, and then the
- 38:11Speaker 1: outrageous workout routines, which would include bench pressing hundreds of
- 38:15Speaker 1: weights underwater. His extreme ways allowed him to create a
- 38:18Speaker 1: name for himself online, the Liver King. Millions of followers,
- 38:23Speaker 1: known as his primals, were obsessed with as every single move,
- 38:28Speaker 1: and he has been exposed as the Liar King.
- 38:31Speaker 5: Now hmm, yeah, well, I mean I believe he was
- 38:37Speaker 5: on a tremendous amount of steroids. His lord he was
- 38:41Speaker 5: actually getting his physique from. And so you know, if
- 38:44Speaker 5: they if they prosecute him, I just hope they put
- 38:47Speaker 5: him in I think it would be fitting if they
- 38:49Speaker 5: put him in the same prison as the Tiger King.
- 38:53Speaker 1: I think that would I think that would be very
- 38:56Speaker 1: endearing because then you know, you can have two kings
- 38:58Speaker 1: in the same cell.
- 39:00Speaker 5: Old Joe Exotic would be the queen. But he.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Don't underestimate him. If he could tame a tiger, I mean,
- 39:10Speaker 1: if he can grab a tiger by the toe, imagine
- 39:12Speaker 1: what he could do with the Liver King. But it
- 39:16Speaker 1: is interesting though, because this guy known as the Liver King,
- 39:19Speaker 1: what was his name? Brian Johnson. Brian Johnson also claimed
- 39:23Speaker 1: his two sons were in poor health before they switched
- 39:26Speaker 1: to his organ based diet, which he claimed cured them.
- 39:31Speaker 1: This claim led people to regularly purchase his liver supplements. Yeah,
- 39:38Speaker 1: he misled the public, and in fact it came out
- 39:40Speaker 1: in twenty twenty two thanks to lead emails, that he
- 39:43Speaker 1: was actually spending eleven thousand dollars a month on steroids
- 39:46Speaker 1: to achieve his physique. Yeah, he created a three hundred
- 39:50Speaker 1: million dollar empire which led him to deny any steroid use,
- 39:55Speaker 1: but the truth finally caught up to him and he
- 39:57Speaker 1: had no choice but to admit he was using pharmacy
- 40:00Speaker 1: great human growth hormones.
- 40:04Speaker 5: Yeah, I believe the supplements. I think he had to
- 40:07Speaker 5: like it stopped selling and I think that there was
- 40:10Speaker 5: a big backlash and he like had to refund a
- 40:14Speaker 5: bunch of money. So then he went out and he's
- 40:17Speaker 5: the one who came out and was like, yeah, I'm
- 40:19Speaker 5: I do take these supplements. They do work, and I
- 40:21Speaker 5: was lying about it, but you should still buy the supplements,
- 40:23Speaker 5: and people were like, we're good. So I think they stopped.
- 40:27Speaker 5: I think I think he lost a lot of that
- 40:29Speaker 5: three hundred million dollars.
- 40:31Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I would imagine. So you are right though,
- 40:35Speaker 1: I mean, you had the guy that was at one
- 40:37Speaker 1: point known as the Liver King. I like your idea, Roger.
- 40:40Speaker 1: It would be cool that if he had to go
- 40:42Speaker 1: to prison that he would be met imprisoned by the
- 40:45Speaker 1: Tiger King, especially since the Tiger King is recently at
- 40:53Speaker 1: least prison single because Joe Exotic, the Tiger King recently
- 40:59Speaker 1: got married in prison to another inmate. The problem is
- 41:06Speaker 1: he got out of prison. The Tiger King's new husband
- 41:10Speaker 1: just got released from prison and then was promptly deported
- 41:14Speaker 1: because he's Mexican. So while Tiger King might technically be married,
- 41:21Speaker 1: he's prison single. So if the Liver King and the
- 41:24Speaker 1: Tiger King want to hook up and do some really
- 41:26Speaker 1: freaky prison stuff, the opportunity is there.
- 41:30Speaker 2: Need to throw in Jared from Subway.
- 41:34Speaker 6: It could be.
- 41:35Speaker 5: It could be a three way death match with don King.
- 41:37Speaker 5: We can just get all the kings in.
- 41:39Speaker 1: There, the Liver King, the Tiger King, and the Subway King.
- 41:49Speaker 1: That is an unholy triad.
- 41:53Speaker 5: Three men went, Three men enter one man league.
