- 0:00Brutal silver and gold sell off. Are we turning the corner?
- 0:04Are we moving on to greener pastures?
- 0:07We've got some proof that that very well is the case.
- 0:10We're going to talk about that and a lot more in this video.
- 0:13It's a lot of big good things going on in the world of
- 0:17precious metals right now and of course a little dose of doom
- 0:21about what's happening in the world.
- 0:23It is downright scary, but let's start by doing a quick check on
- 0:27the silver and gold price and then we're going to get right
- 0:30into the charts. And if we go out to Kitco, we
- 0:34can see that we're up $1.22 in silver, all right, almost 2% and
- 0:39gold up 1% at $4548. But let's move on to the charts
- 0:46and talk about why the sell off that we've all endured over the
- 0:50last four weeks very well could be over.
- 0:53We're going to go to the bubble, Bubble report from the one and
- 0:56only Jesse Colombo. Like the rising *1 of the most
- 1:00popular analyst out there. This is from the free section of
- 1:04his sub stack that you can subscribe to.
- 1:07Basically, he pulls up this chart and there's a couple
- 1:10things we want to look at here guys, and that is on this gold
- 1:14chart. Number one, we are still being
- 1:18supported by the 200 day moving average.
- 1:22Let me circle that for you. That would be this line right
- 1:25here. OK #2 we are oversold.
- 1:31You can see down here on the relative strength indicator, we
- 1:34are way down in the oversold category.
- 1:37And the third thing that he brings up is that we've got a
- 1:40pretty solid place of support right around in here kind of in
- 1:47that 42 to 441 to $4400 range. So it looks like when things get
- 1:53get vastly oversold, which hey, we've experienced that together,
- 1:57silver and gold. And when we talk about gold,
- 2:00there's a little more analysis that's done on gold because it
- 2:04is the granddaddy of the precious metals.
- 2:06When we talk about gold, we're talking about silver.
- 2:09But yes, we have been sold, sold, sold over the last 3-4
- 2:12weeks. With the war in Iran, the Co
- 2:15relation between the general markets and the metals appears
- 2:19to be breaking up a little bit. But we've got even more to look
- 2:23at. Let's go to the Happy Hawaiian,
- 2:25another highly respected name in the world of precious metals.
- 2:29And he pulls up a great chart, brings up a great point also he
- 2:33says, do you guys remember when gold was $1800 per oz back in
- 2:39October of 2023? I remember exactly.
- 2:43I was in northern Quebec at first mining gold's Duparquet
- 2:49project, and the IT was a great visit.
- 2:52It's an incredible gold project, but just the overall sentiment
- 2:56in the gold sector at that point was very, very negative, OK?
- 3:01He says. That's how oversold gold got on
- 3:04the daily chart last week, except this time the low was
- 3:09$4100 per oz. We went from 1800 to over 5600
- 3:16without the RSI by dipping back below 30.
- 3:19Now we're at 4100. Where do we go from there?
- 3:23And if we look at his chart, that's what he's showing, right
- 3:26in no uncertain terms. You can see right there the
- 3:30relative strength index. The last time it was at these
- 3:33levels was back in October of 2023.
- 3:38So what this tells us, guys, look, those are oscillators.
- 3:42They go up and down, they range and range.
- 3:45Could they go lower? They could.
- 3:47Could they go much lower, not too much lower.
- 3:51And the important thing to remember is that the runway for
- 3:54improvement, when we look at these technical indicators like
- 3:57the relative strength index, the runway for improvement is
- 4:01absolutely massive. And when we talk about gold,
- 4:04when we talk about silver, the fundamental factors remain in
- 4:08place, no doubt about it. Next we're going to talk about
- 4:12something very exciting happening in the silver and gold
- 4:15sector. The young hip people are coming
- 4:18to the precious metals sector. I actually had a conversation
- 4:22with two executives in the online bullion arena the other
- 4:25day and they told me we were talking about the January,
- 4:29February, even in the March time frame.
- 4:31And they said in no uncertain terms, they are seeing more
- 4:35young people come into the gold and silver physical bullion
- 4:41investment sector. It's very exciting.
- 4:43But I'm going to show you this next guy, Mario Nawfal.
- 4:47I'll tell you about him in one second and what he says about
- 4:50gold. And when he's talking about
- 4:52gold, he's talking about silver as well.
- 4:54First, I want to say thank you to channel sponsor Brixton
- 4:57Metals. They're a Canadian metals
- 4:59exploration company. Of course, we also want to say
- 5:02thank you to channel sponsor First Mint.
- 5:05They are the silver exclusive mint in the United States.
- 5:09They've got a great selection of products, great customer
- 5:12service, great prices and the feedback from our community on
- 5:16on your your experience with First Mint has truly been second
- 5:19to none. And I mentioned first mining
- 5:22gold earlier, Canadian gold development company with two
- 5:25huge projects in Canada, Spring Pole in Ontario and Du Parquet
- 5:30in Quebec, big projects with big gold in the ground.
- 5:34They're working through the development phase.
- 5:36You can learn more about them at firstmininggold.com.
- 5:39Now why do we want to talk about the young?
- 5:41This is actually very exciting for silver and gold.
- 5:45Mario Nafal is like the youngest, hippest guys got 3.4
- 5:50million followers on X. Like, if you're you're a young
- 5:54hip person, you're probably maybe around my age.
- 5:57But like, if you're in your 20s or early 30s and you're living
- 6:01in New York City, right, you're cool.
- 6:04You absolutely know who Mario Nalfall is.
- 6:07All the young people do. And let's go see what he had to
- 6:10say about gold, because it is fascinating to hear this coming
- 6:15from him. OK, Mario says this siren.
- 6:22Every time war hits energy markets, someone ask if oil is
- 6:27becoming the new gold. It isn't.
- 6:33It never is. Gold sits in a vault for
- 6:36thousands of years without asking anything of anyone.
- 6:41Oil needs refineries, tankers, pipelines, shipping lanes, and
- 6:45geopolitical stability just to exist as an asset.
- 6:50The Iran war didn't make oil valuable, it made oil's
- 6:54fundamental problem visible. It only works when the world
- 6:58cooperates. Gold doesn't need the world to
- 7:01cooperate. That's why it's money.
- 7:04And oil is just an expensive liquid.
- 7:07And I believe he was referring to this article from Zero Hedge.
- 7:12Shoot, Hold on here. Let me go back.
- 7:15Make sure we got you on the right screen.
- 7:17See if it pulls it up now. Yeah.
- 7:19Anyway, Zero Hedge put an article out about that.
- 7:21What he's talking about is something super powerful, a
- 7:26superpower that both gold and silver have.
- 7:29They they they survive everything wars.
- 7:33They're not affiliated with certain religions, political
- 7:36parties. They are just always valuable
- 7:39everywhere and for all time. OK, And this is the young hip
- 7:44guy, Mario Nafal. Thank you, Mario.
- 7:48Right. And I think it's super cool that
- 7:50these younger people are starting to realize the benefits
- 7:53of gold and silver, right? It's more people coming into the
- 7:57gold and silver ecosystem and something that we definitely
- 8:01want to keep an eye on. Let's go out and check in with
- 8:04our friend the Oriental Ghost and see what's happening in
- 8:07China in the physical silver market.
- 8:10We're going to focus on silver because guys, the actual
- 8:14physical price for silver in China remains well above what
- 8:19the LBMA is telling us the actual physical price is, and
- 8:23we'll check on that in the West. So here we are with the Oriental
- 8:28Ghost and we're looking at his daily update on the Shanghai
- 8:37Gold Exchange. Here's silver on the Shanghai
- 8:40Gold Exchange. You can see $79.04.
- 8:44We're going to do an update and talk about how much actual
- 8:47silver the Shanghai Futures Exchange has in its vault in
- 8:51just one second. But let's go out 79-O four and
- 8:56just for fun, we'll check on the the spot price in the West,
- 9:00$70.83. So as you can clearly see, China
- 9:08who's like sucking in all the world silver up, is putting it
- 9:12at a much, much higher price. And now we're back on the right
- 9:15screen. Sorry about that.
- 9:17I also promised you an update on the Shanghai Futures Exchange.
- 9:23All right, This is their vault. You can see vaults right there,
- 9:27374,427 kilograms. That is equal to only about 12
- 9:35million Troy ounces of silver that is in the vaults, backing
- 9:41up the entire Shanghai Futures Exchange.
- 9:44That's different from the Shanghai Gold Exchange, which is
- 9:47their physical market. This is their futures market.
- 9:50And there's only 12 million ounces of silver backing that
- 9:54entire thing up. And it gets even a little more
- 9:57interesting in China because we get this from our friend Lucas.
- 10:01The Chinese rush to buy gold bars as the Chinese rush to buy
- 10:06Guard. Chinese rush to buy gold bars As
- 10:10prices tank It's getting increasingly difficult to buy
- 10:13physical gold bars from banks in China.
- 10:17Only 50g and 100 gram bars left. Some banks are completely out of
- 10:20stock. Chinese seem to realize that
- 10:22this war is anything but bearish for gold and that the dip is a
- 10:26buying opportunity. So this was a Chinese journalist
- 10:31says a reporter's investigation at several bank branches.
- 10:34And Hang Zhao revealed that investment gold bars are in
- 10:39short supply. I'll just read you a one quote
- 10:42here. Somebody said quote.
- 10:43I never imagined that one day even bank gold bars would be in
- 10:48such tight high demand. Recently, many consumers have
- 10:52found that it's not easy to buy physical gold from the banks.
- 10:56And there's more quotes as well. But that just, again, shows us
- 11:00what's happening in the world in general with these precious
- 11:04metals. We're seeing reports from all
- 11:07over Asia that there's still massive, robust demand for
- 11:11physical gold and for physical silver as well.
- 11:15How about the silver billionaire David Bateman, our own American,
- 11:19who's the new Hunt brothers? That's what I like to call him,
- 11:22but he's a little bit different. He's not buying futures
- 11:24contracts. He owns like 13 or 15,000,000
- 11:28ounces of physical silver. And he's got a wise piece of
- 11:32input for us. Hold on one second.
- 11:37Uh oh, here it is. Sorry, guys.
- 11:40Little out of order here. Here we go.
- 11:41David Bateman says precious metals are the only insurance
- 11:46policy that pay you, right. Gold, gold and silver.
- 11:52You can hold them in your hand, however you choose to own gold
- 11:55and silver. But they are an insurance
- 11:58policy. And as we look back just one
- 12:01year ago, I was looking before we came on, we still had the
- 12:05silver price a year ago. Right now oscillating between
- 12:08kind of the 30 and $35 per oz range, guys, we're at $70 per
- 12:14oz. One year ago, had we sat down
- 12:16here in the basement and known for sure that the silver price
- 12:19would be double or more from where it was one year ago, we
- 12:23would be absolutely jumping for joy.
- 12:27And that what appears right now. We are building and
- 12:30consolidating into a very solid base that could provide us a
- 12:35platform from which the gold and silver price could go much, much
- 12:40higher from here. Speaking of which, Michael
- 12:42Oliver's back. I'm going to play a short video
- 12:45for you that came out from Sprott and hold on here, see if
- 12:50I can do this right. I rehearsed this before we came
- 12:54on. Here we go.
- 12:56We projected, have projected for months now that when this thing
- 12:59unleashes to a new reality, we call.
- 13:02So it's probably going to be, you know, 3 to 500 bucks and
- 13:05only then what I think Eric Sprott pointed this out in an
- 13:08interview you did some months ago, that if you factored in
- 13:11just the decay in the money unit and there was the increase in
- 13:14the quantity of the money unit M2 and factored that back to
- 13:181980 or 2011 silver. Well be in the hundreds just to
- 13:22get even to those equivalent price levels and reflect the
- 13:26decay in the in the real buying power of the dollar.
- 13:28And the fact that there might be entities that try to restrain
- 13:32this process. And obviously it hasn't been
- 13:34working. We're not still in the 50s.
- 13:36Again, you know, they they only accelerated and they create
- 13:39these boom effects. So it wouldn't shock me
- 13:42somewhere down the road here in the next couple months, you
- 13:44could to see something like, you know, a couple $10 days and
- 13:47silver for $20 days. So on the upside, bam, bam, bam,
- 13:51you know, we're just gas. OK, while it seeks its new
- 13:55reality, we projected, half projected.
- 13:58OK. Hey, guys.
- 13:59And he brought up a very, very good point.
- 14:01We talked about silver, right, regaining, reclaiming its
- 14:05rightful status, right, as as a monetary metal that will happen.
- 14:10And even if we just compare the degradation and depreciation in
- 14:15the value of the US dollar, the silver price over the last 45
- 14:20years should be significantly higher than where it is right
- 14:24now. And I've got some proof, I'm
- 14:26going to have some fun proof that the Comex manipulates the
- 14:31price of silver. I've noticed on my phone when I
- 14:34type in, you know, when you type things in, when I type in the
- 14:37word comex and then hit, hit spacebar, you know how it
- 14:40automatically recommends a next word for you?
- 14:44My phone now recommends the word manipulation directly after I
- 14:48type in the word comex. So interesting, interesting
- 14:52developments. Let's talk about some craziness,
- 14:56right? Doom and gloom, right?
- 14:57Things are getting very crazy out there in the world right
- 15:00now. Many people are saying that the
- 15:02world markets don't realize, right, what the ramifications
- 15:07are going to be just from what's happened already in the war with
- 15:12Iran. And if we look at some of the
- 15:14data points, some of the facts coming through about what's
- 15:16already happening in the in the world, it gets downright scary.
- 15:20Now, the net effect of it all will be that we're going to have
- 15:24a recession during a inflationary environment,
- 15:27stagflation, and they're going to come in and whatever they
- 15:31want to call it, print money. QE do some type of they'll come
- 15:35up with a new name for it, some way to basically liquidate and
- 15:39print more dollars. Because don't forget, the United
- 15:41States right now is in a position of fiscal dominance,
- 15:45meaning that's not a good thing. We talked about this yesterday,
- 15:49fiscal dominance, meaning that the fiscal situation of the
- 15:52country, the financial situation, all the debt, the
- 15:56real simple way to look at it is now going to begin to dominate
- 16:00what the what the feds going to be able to do and the
- 16:02government's going to be able to do in regard to reacting to
- 16:06crisis. But nonetheless, I promised you
- 16:08some doom and gloom. This is incredible to think
- 16:12about. What is happening right now in
- 16:16our world? I'll zip through this from
- 16:18Limitless, he said. Do you understand what's
- 16:21happened in just the last 72 hours?
- 16:24Egypt shut down its shops at 9:00 PM.
- 16:26Mandated work from home Sundays in the government internally
- 16:30called war economy mode. OK, Turkey central bank burned
- 16:34through. What is that?
- 16:36I don't know. A show a lot of money in March
- 16:39defending the lira, The finance minister everyone called the
- 16:43genius is now considered considering selling the national
- 16:47gold reserves. Pakistan's PM went on national
- 16:50TV and announced government salary cuts and a 50% fuel
- 16:54allocation reduction. OK, they approved a 358 what
- 16:59million austerity fund. Russia banned cash exports above
- 17:03above 100,000 and gold bars above 100 grams.
- 17:08Putin signed in March 26th calling it fighting the shadow
- 17:12economy. Iraq banned 22 banks from U.S.
- 17:15dollar transactions. South Korea launched A literal
- 17:19wartime economic response body on March 25th.
- 17:23The PM chairs at India, so I'm getting dizzy.
- 17:27India created a 6.7 trillion Economic stabilization
- 17:34Stabilization fund. It wasn't in the news.
- 17:37It was buried in a budget supplement.
- 17:39Lebanon's currency collapsed by 98%.
- 17:42The war added 14 a trillion on top of that, every single
- 17:47government on this list told their citizens the economy is
- 17:50doing fine within the last 30 days.
- 17:53All of this happened in a single week.
- 17:55If you're not following, blah, blah, blah.
- 17:57OK, so look, guys, the bottom line here is things are getting
- 18:02very dicey out there in the world economy for sure.
- 18:07They're telling us everything's fine in the United States.
- 18:09I don't want doom. I don't want gloom.
- 18:11You don't want doom. You don't want gloom.
- 18:14But we need to keep our heads out of the sand and be aware of
- 18:18what is happening all around us right now.
- 18:21There is nothing better in the world, right for protecting
- 18:26against uncertainty. The world's original reserve
- 18:29currencies, silver and gold. The real safe haven, the real
- 18:33safe harbor. When there's a horrible it,
- 18:36doesn't it feel that way? Like it's a hurricane coming
- 18:39through right now? There's nothing better.
- 18:42And it's worked for thousands and thousands of years.
- 18:45Remember, gold and silver have seen every form of war that's
- 18:50ever been over the last 4000 years.
- 18:52Gold and silver have seen every a piece of political upheaval
- 18:57that have occurred, every major geopolitical shift, power shift
- 19:02in the world, when the British ruled the world, when the Dutch
- 19:05ruled the world, when the Romans ruled the world, when the
- 19:07Spanish ruled the world. And now are we seeing it when
- 19:10the United States rules the world?
- 19:13What I'm saying is gold and silver, like Mario Nafal said,
- 19:17right? It's not dependent on any
- 19:19anything to maintain its value. It just always maintains its
- 19:24value and it's done that perfectly for thousands and
- 19:28thousands of years. So while all that uncertainty,
- 19:31all the and I don't want, I mean, look again, I don't like
- 19:34war. I don't, you know, I won't go
- 19:36down that path. But the reality of what's
- 19:38happening in the world right now is very unsettling.
- 19:43And I think that the next 5 to 10 years, maybe 5 weeks or five
- 19:47months, who knows what could happen.
- 19:49All right, And what about we talked about being in a safe
- 19:52harbor? What about the silver tsunami?
- 19:56This, I think, sums up quite possibly what is going on right
- 20:01now in the world when it comes to in the world of silver in
- 20:06particular. Mother Silver Ape shared this.
- 20:09Think about this. So much comes back, goes back to
- 20:11natural forces. Natural laws says in a tsunami,
- 20:15waters recede greatly before the big wave crashes and floods the
- 20:22lowlands and the beaches. This is a perfect analogy for
- 20:26what is happening with the price of silver currently being so
- 20:31low, around $70 per oz. Patiently wait for the silver
- 20:35price tsunami wave because it's coming I and it's a beautiful
- 20:41picture, right? A giant silver wave incoming.
- 20:45But even more importantly, I agree with him 100% on that.
- 20:48It feels like hold on here. It feels like right now, right?
- 20:53We're in a little bit of a lull before the storm.
- 20:56It doesn't feel like silver could possibly go back to let's
- 21:00say $50 per oz. Don't throw eggs at me.
- 21:03Don't get mad. OK?
- 21:05Throw virtual eggs. Whatever.
- 21:07Could it happen? Yes.
- 21:08Could silver go to 30 an ounce? Yes, it could happen.
- 21:11Do I think it'll happen? Absolutely not.
- 21:13I don't think I could. I don't think I could continue
- 21:16on. If we see a silver price that
- 21:19comes around, again, that starts with the number three.
- 21:22That isn't 300. If we get back into the third,
- 21:26whatever. The point here, let's get back
- 21:28to the silver tsunami is that so many things that happen in
- 21:33market, so many things that happen in the world, they're all
- 21:36bound by natural laws. And what he said about that
- 21:39tsunami, do you feel it? I feel it, right.
- 21:42Like we had the initial kind of wave that came through, but now
- 21:46like everything's kind of pulling back.
- 21:48But another massive wave for silver and gold.
- 21:53But we're focused on silver. Silver could be incoming here
- 21:57sooner as opposed to later. It's going to be a fun, fun
- 22:00ride, that's for sure. Hey guys, don't forget if you
- 22:03want to protect, protect your whatever, maybe some silver,
- 22:08maybe some gold. Please check out Dirty Man Safe.
- 22:12It's a safe that you bury in the ground.
- 22:14Not only, you know, does it keep it safe from fire and other
- 22:18natural disasters, but also flood like the silver tsunami
- 22:22that's coming through. They do have a discount code Ron
- 22:2510 that you can use to get a nice discount and maybe a couple
- 22:29extra freebies thrown in as well.
- 22:32Thank you guys for being here. Please, if you enjoyed your time
- 22:34in the basement, it's a big honor when you join us down
- 22:37here. Subscribe to the channel that's
- 22:39free. Give this a thumbs up, leave a
- 22:42comment in the comment section and thank you from behalf of
- 22:45myself and upstairs, Susie, for all your support.
- 22:48Let's check in with the boss right now.
- 22:50Susie, are you there? I'm here.
- 22:54OK. Did I forget to mention
- 22:58anything, Susie? I don't think so.
- 23:02All right, all right, guys. Have a great day.
- 23:04Take care, and we're going to look forward to seeing you.
- 23:07And yes, I see you. We'll see you next time.
- 23:10Bye. Bye.
