Trusting God with Every Shade of Hurt. Day 24
Welcome to Day 24 of our Jabez Prayer Journey! Trusting God with Every Shade of Hurt. The final request Jabez makes is rich in meaning—across all translations, it’s a longing for protection from harm, evil, and pain in all their forms.
Sometimes we pray to be kept from sickness, accidents, or financial loss. Other times, it’s a plea to be shielded from targeted attacks or spiritual oppression.
There’s also a deeper cry: “God, remind me who you are. Are you for me? Merciful Father God, don’t let sorrow define my story.”
Jesus assures us that his purpose is not to bring pain, but abundant life…
