- 0:02Good morning, good morning, and good morning God. Bless you, Family
- 0:05of God. Welcome back to the Morning Devo, which you broke Sam Lopez
- 0:09adj. Sam Rock. And it's Friday, so you already know authentic imitationology.
- 0:15This is episode number sixty four. Man were on a roll authentic imitationology
- 0:22every Friday, trying to imitate the most successful person who has ever lived on
- 0:27this planet, the Lord himself, the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the
- 0:31one who was born of a virgin right, who lived sinless life, perfect
- 0:37life, Amen, and died a gruesome death the sacrifice Amen, and rose
- 0:44again on the third day, the Lord Jesus himself. That's the Jesus we're
- 0:47talking about, not the Jesus of another religion, or Jesus of the Mormon,
- 0:52or the Jesus of the Islams Jesus or anything like that. We're talking
- 0:56about the biblical Jesus, historical Jesus, the Loving, Holy, righteous One,
- 1:00Amen, the only begotten son of the Living God, the Lord Jesus.
- 1:04Today we're talking about service and sacrifice. The counter cultural way that Jesus
- 1:11lived a man was so counter cultural, and every time you bring up his
- 1:15life today in our time, he's still counter cultural. Amen. And the
- 1:21world that we're living in today, this whole service and sacrifice thing is backwards,
- 1:26according to how the Word sees it, the world sees it backwards.
- 1:32How is Jesus' teaching about service and self sacrifice counter cultural? We're going to
- 1:38be in Mark chapter number eight, Versus thirty four and thirty six. This
- 1:42was the thing right here. One of the reasons why it took me so
- 1:47long to make a move and respond to the call of God over my life
- 1:51and in my life, to respond to the Gospel. Amen. And it's
- 1:56because I never could imagine or wrap my head around why would anyone die for
- 2:04me? Why would anybody want to serve me? Why would anybody want to
- 2:09sacrifice their own life for me, especially if that person was holy and righteous,
- 2:15especially if that person was the savior of the whole world. Before I
- 2:20got saved, I could not understand, or couldn't even comprehend, why would
- 2:24anybody do that for me? It took me a while, a long time
- 2:30to come to a place where I said, well, if this person Jesus,
- 2:34or if this God died for me so that way I could live,
- 2:38I owe him an opportunity, right, even though it was a selfish way
- 2:43of thinking. Amen. But that's the way I was thinking. I said,
- 2:45I owe him to him to try him out. It's just it became
- 2:50like something for me to do to make sure. I didn't want to have
- 2:53a what if for all eternity? What if this is the true, holy
- 2:59love and righteous God that died for me as well? Because I thought,
- 3:02for real, I thought he died for everybody else, all people who went
- 3:07to church at least, all people who were Catholic at least, all people
- 3:10who were religious at least. I thought God only died for them. Never
- 3:15thought in a hundred years that he died for me as well. Amen.
- 3:20So this whole service, this whole sacrifice, and all that is countercultural still
- 3:30Amen, Because the story of the Gospel, the truth of the Gospel,
- 3:35is like foreign language to a lot of people right now to this every day,
- 3:38they can't understand God's love. Why would God do that? He did
- 3:43it because he loved us and he still loves us. Amen, his own
- 3:47backwards, or it looks like it's own. Good Amen. Since Joanne,
- 3:51I see you, Good morning, God bless you. Welcome to the morning.
- 3:53Devo it's Friday, start of a weekend. Amen, and I hope
- 3:57and pray that you're blessed today. Listen, we live in a culture that
- 4:01says, live your best life, follow your heart, do you boo,
- 4:09live your truth, love yourself, whatever makes you happy. So if you
- 4:15notice the focus on the culture we're living in today, it's about self,
- 4:19self self. I say it like this, it's all about me, me,
- 4:24me, like an opera singer. But today we're going to see in
- 4:28the scriptures that that's opposing or opposite of what the Lord taught us and what
- 4:34he's teaching us and what he shows us and his own example in his own
- 4:40life. So we're talking about service and sacrifice here in the morning Devo Authentic
- 4:46Imitationlogy. It's just Friday. So we're in an episode number sixty four and
- 4:51we're going to be a mark chapter number eight, verses thirty four to thirty
- 4:55six. So if you have any questions, comments, concerns, pray requests,
- 5:00anything along those lines, don't hesitate to leaving on a live chat.
- 5:02That's what we're here for. If you're not live with me now, a
- 5:05man, it's all good on the replay. You have a question, comment,
- 5:10concern, prayer request, you can share it, Amen. And we're
- 5:14not broadcasting a live podcasts anymore. I'm gonna try to figure that out soon.
- 5:20Because of the platform that I use, decided to stop live streaming podcasts.
- 5:26But it's okay. You'll see you're here the podcast on the replay.
- 5:30And also we're streaming live right now at live that so Winners with a z
- 5:33dot org, which is the platform that I use for the Bible studies and

- 5:56dot Org Amen. That we have Valleys Number one or gospel music station online
- 6:01since two thousand and eight, believe it or not, and we're still here.
- 6:04That's all glory to God. So let's go for it, and let's
- 6:06pray first. After we pray, we'll share this out. You know,
- 6:11I had a lot to pray for Amen. Yesterday we men. My grandson
- 6:16Jason turned one years old, and I'm over here thinking he was two years
- 6:19old. Excuse me my dates, names, ages and all that stuff.
- 6:26Pray for a brother. It's off, man, I don't know what's going
- 6:30on. It's age maybe, but praise God, I have a sound mind.
- 6:36Just that I forget stuff, if that makes any sense. And then
- 6:42my granddaughter, one of my granddaughters, caught pneumonia and I just found out
- 6:47yesterday. So I'm praying that she gets out of that hospital fully recovered before
- 6:55they think she will be fully recovered. In Jesus name, So help me
- 6:58pray for my grandchildren, all of them, all three of them. I
- 7:00have two girls and one boy. And I called my son yesterday and assured
- 7:05him that I was praying, and I actually prayed for him. A man,
- 7:10it's a beautiful thing that we could go to a beautiful God, a
- 7:13holy, righteous God with anything, any concern and anything that's going on with
- 7:18our lives, with our family, and prayed and so I prayed the healing
- 7:23power of the Lord Jesus. I set forth angels over there to the hospital
- 7:27room in Jesus' name, and I'm praying continuously that people around the situation,
- 7:33the men will see the move in the hand of God, and that they
- 7:36will bother their needs to a living, holy, righteous, loving God,
- 7:40a faithful God, a God who serves, and a God who sacrificed,
- 7:45sacrifices, who has already sacrificed. Father, I thank you so much for
- 7:49today. I thank you for the power of prayer. I thank you,
- 7:51Lord God, that you are still the Christ who is counter cultural. Thank
- 7:58you, Lord Jesus for what you did, how you live your perfect example.
- 8:01Thank you for saving us and rescuing us. Thank you for being the
- 8:05open door for eternal life for us as human beings, as mankind your creation.
- 8:11I speak life over every situation that life throws at us. I speak
- 8:16life. I speak peace, be still in Jesus name, over chaos,
- 8:22over distraction, over anything that tries to hinder us from the plan and purpose
- 8:26that you have for us. I speak, Lord God, your word when
- 8:31it comes to not onet thing or needing anything, but what you give us
- 8:35is more than enough. I pray prosperity, the enoughness of your word,
- 8:41enoughness of the financial breakthrough that you have for us. I pray peace to
- 8:45our bodies physically, emotionally and spiritually. I pray protection, guidance. I
- 8:50pray Lord God, health and strength in Jesus name of our bodies, with
- 8:54thanksgiving, knowing that you supply at all the breath of life elohem, the
- 9:00rouack eloheen, the power of your word to be evident in every one of
- 9:03our lives. And for those who don't believe yet, I pray, Lord
- 9:07God, Holy Spirit, that you would reveal yourself to them as well today
- 9:11right now, that they would know that there was a God who loves them,
- 9:15a God who saves, a God who rescues, a God who forgives,
- 9:18a God who loves, a God of grace, a God of mercy,
- 9:22and a God who serves, and a sacrifice for us all in Jesus
- 9:26name. I prai is by faith, Amen and Amen. So let's go
- 9:31forward sixty seconds. We'll share this side. When we come back, we'll
- 9:33dive into service and sacrifice. Service and sacrifice. Try to say that fast.
- 9:39March chapter eight, verses thirty four to thirty six. I'll be right
- 9:43back. Amen. Amen, We're back service and sacrifice today in the morning,
- 11:03devot and listen. This is a kind of cultural message. The Gospel
- 11:07will always be countercultural. A man the culture that creates their own Christ.
- 11:13If that's the thing, or creates their own God or their own version of
- 11:18Jesus. If don't like messages like this because it goes against the grain.
- 11:22But the power of God's word remains and stands against any culture, against any
- 11:28civilization, against any generation, as truth, as love, as gospel,
- 11:33as power as authority. Amen. And we stand on the word of God
- 11:39here on Soul Winners at so Winners a Cellar radio network as well. So
- 11:43we're gonna keep on preaching and keep on preaching the Gospel of Mark. We
- 11:46find it and we see it, and I know it's true. Amen,
- 11:50it's not because I believe that's true. There's evidence enough in my life and
- 11:56in the lives of millions and millions upon millions of people and historical everything.
- 12:01The evidence stacks up in favor of truth. Because this is the truth.
- 12:05Amen. So let's get this going. Let's move it on the screen.
- 12:07Amen. For those who are just listening, specially if you're lifting on cell
- 12:11our radio, that we're going to read a word for word, so that
- 12:15way you won't miss a beat. But for those who are on the live
- 12:16stream, Amen, on video, let's pop it on a screen. Amen.
- 12:20There goes authentic Comentationlogy. Try to do these Friday, the same time
- 12:26slot as the Morning Devo. Amen. This is part of the Blaze Bible
- 12:30Studies. You can catch out on any podcast platform that's available where you can
- 12:33catch a podcast, and we should be on your favorite network as well.
- 12:37Amen. So let's go for it. Service and Sacrifice, Service and Sacrifice,
- 12:43mark chapter eight. Let's start from verse number thirty four. We'll take
- 12:46it all the way to thirty six. You ready, and calling the crowd
- 12:50to him with his disciples, he said to them, and this is the
- 12:54Lord Jesus speaking. If anyone will come after me, let him deny himself,
- 13:03take up his cross, and follow me. There we go. But
- 13:09whoever would save his life will lose it. In other words, if you
- 13:15hold onto your life the way you want your life to be lived, according
- 13:18to your way of living, you will lose it. But whoever loses his
- 13:24life for my sake and the Gospels save it. But what does it profit
- 13:35a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul. That, ladies
- 13:41and gentlemen, is where we at right now, this present day. People
- 13:46are holding and clinging onto the things of this world, and they want to
- 13:50be accepted so badly, and they want to be in the crowd, the
- 13:54in crowd, so badly that they're willing to sack of themselves at the altar
- 14:03of deception, at the altar of selfishness, at the altar of just some
- 14:11I don't know what do you call it? The altar of sin or the
- 14:16They decided and remember, we have a choice to make that if we hold
- 14:22on to the life the way we wanted to be held on to. We
- 14:26decided to do that. And Jesus said, you do that, try to
- 14:30save your own life. You're gonna lose it. But the good news is
- 14:33that whoever loses his life for my sake, and it's not this is not
- 14:37a holy jeha, this is not okay, go and throw yourself off the
- 14:41bridge in Jesus name. None of that. Come against that in the name
- 14:46of Jesus the enemy. You are a liar. None of that is what
- 14:50Jesus taking about. What he's thought about is whoever loses his sacrifices his own
- 14:54life and serves the Lord a man for the sake of the Gospel will save
- 15:00their life because you're going to the savior. But what does it profit a
- 15:05man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul. In other words,
- 15:09you're gonna either choose Christ, the one who loves you, the one who
- 15:13has the abundant life and the eternal promise for your life, or you're gonna
- 15:16follow the things of this world so bad, You're going to want it so
- 15:20bad that you're going to forfeit your soul to gain the whole world and what
- 15:26the world has for you. That, ladies and gentlemen, is where we
- 15:28at. Nobody could tell me differently. If you don't see that in today's
- 15:33current culture, amen, maybe you haven't been outside in a while, or
- 15:39maybe you haven't watched the news in a while, or maybe you haven't you
- 15:43know, watched sports or anything entertainment. Just maybe you're just conscience. You
- 15:50see that every time the Gospel of Mark, we see it there. We
- 15:56see that it isn't all what Jesus said. It isn't at all what Jesus
- 16:00said about follow your heart, about love yourself, about whatever makes you happy,
- 16:07or about do you boo. That's not at all what Jesus was talking
- 16:11about. In Mark. You see that it isn't at all what Jesus said,
- 16:15and it certainly, isn't how Jesus lived men? The whole test of
- 16:22Oh is the Gospel true? Does the Bible stand up? Is the Bible
- 16:26relevant? All of those questions? Why don't you look at the gospels for
- 16:29yourself? Matthew, Mark Luke, and John Amen in the Book of Acts
- 16:33is Luke chapter two? I call it, so go for it. Look
- 16:37at the scriptures. Look at how Jesus lived a look at his miracle,
- 16:41signs and wonders. Look at the way he spoke to people. Look at
- 16:44the way he handled rejection, look at the way he treated people. Look
- 16:48at the way he forgave sins, all of that. Look at the life
- 16:52of Jesus. I think it's worth for you looking at Amen, for you
- 16:56to look at a perfect life, an example of a sinless man, an
- 17:00example of a holy man, an example of a righteous God in the form
- 17:04of a man. Why don't you do that for yourself? A man?
- 17:07The counter culture of Christ, Amen's after you and after me, trying to
- 17:12deceive us and say, ah, that can't be true. Why why can't
- 17:17it be true? Is because it's kind of cultural. I was there too.
- 17:21I was the same way my thinking was like before Christ saved my life.
- 17:23I was like, that can't be true. There's no way that somebody
- 17:27innocen is going to die for guilty people. Amen, what type of love
- 17:33is this? I has to ask myself. But Mark's Gospel is the second
- 17:37book in the New Testament. But just believed that Mark actually was around before
- 17:44you know the other gospels. It's the shortest of the four Gospels. But
- 17:49what it lacks in length, it makes up for an action. Talking about
- 17:56Mark focused more about the way Jesus lived in what he said when he described
- 18:08the teachings of Jesus. Those teachers go hand in him with the Jesus works.
- 18:15Amen, to show that he had the power and the authority to make
- 18:19the claims that he made king. Yes, but he was a servant king.
- 18:27People don't like that. What do you mean a king who serves?
- 18:30Yeah, he was a servant king, king of kings, the Lord and
- 18:34lords. Yes, the same Lord we're talking about. So Mark was focusing
- 18:41on, let's say, more on what Jesus did than on what Jesus said.
- 18:48Excuse me, I said that wrong. Earlier. What Jesus said wasn't.
- 18:53The main focus in the book of Mark is what he did Amen,
- 18:57So that makes any sense. The acts of Jesus, what he did,
- 19:03Amen, Whatever God says, whatever the Lord says, is powerful and it
- 19:07is true and it is right and it stands. But the Book of Mark
- 19:12focuses on more what he did, more than what he said. If that
- 19:15makes any sense, Amen, to demonstrate the perfect example that Jesus is and
- 19:21was at that time and it is still to this very day. Good morning,
- 19:23Sister Joys, Good morning, God bless you. Welcome back to the
- 19:26Morning Devo. It's Friday, Welcome to the weekend. Amen. So we're
- 19:30here on authentic imitationology this episode number sixty four. Can you believe it?
- 19:34All these sessions, God has been so good Amen. I can't imagine not
- 19:40doing these sessions. But I am so grateful that He allowed me to get
- 19:42to this point, Amen, in my life. So we learned yesterday,
- 19:48well the other day, while we were in the Last Morning Devo, we
- 19:53were learning about what God was doing in the situations that were going on.
- 20:00Let me just get to it before I messed this up. I'm talking about
- 20:04the fuel of praise, few for praise, right, And we noticed that
- 20:10God is worthy of praise, and we used an example of how our blessings
- 20:17should be used to bless others is not to hold our blessings. That's anti
- 20:22cultural too. The world says, get all you can, can all you
- 20:26get, Amen, and you know, don't really, The world says,
- 20:30don't care about the next person. You got to you gotta come up,
- 20:33and you gotta be ready, and you have to have yours for you and
- 20:37your family. Put your family first, The world says, amen. And
- 20:41if you have extra whatever, you can help out the next man. But
- 20:45of course we know that Jesus said, listen, your blessings. My blessings
- 20:48are coming from the father, right, and he loves to lavish his children
- 20:53with blessings. But those blessings need to be shared, and not for me,
- 20:56not for you. That's our few for praise. And we saw that
- 21:00last time we were together. Right. So the Jewish people at the time,
- 21:07the Jewish audience a man that they when Jesus spoke and demonstrated his what
- 21:15he said, the Jewish people, because of their culture, looked at that
- 21:19as blasphemous, like how could a man a carport to son nonetheless, be
- 21:26saying things that he'd be saying and demonstrating what he says, if he's just
- 21:32a carpenter's son, who is this Jesus. That's a question that's going on
- 21:37right now today in our society and our time and our culture. And it's
- 21:41not only with the Jewish people, the Hebrew people, is with Americans and
- 21:45with Spanish people, black people, white people, Chinese people, all cultures
- 21:49are still lacking this question. Who is this Jesus? And why do Christians
- 21:53say that he's a servant king? And why does the Lord say himself that
- 21:57he didn't come to be served, but to serve and to give his life
- 22:02as a ransom. That's anti cultural, Jesus anti cultural, a man of
- 22:07God. Amen. What he did and what he said was not going along
- 22:11with how the culture wanted him to respond, how the culture wanted him to
- 22:15speak. And he's still counter cultural. So how is Jesus teaching about service
- 22:21and self sacrifice? Counter cultural? What we serve? Jesus instead of saying
- 22:26you first, you put your life first? And he said, no,
- 22:30if you put your life first before God, you will lose it. But
- 22:33if you put your life and align that with God's life in us, we
- 22:38will find it. Amen. Counter cultural? And Jesus flipped the script and
- 22:44he did that so often in the scriptures. If you read the scriptures,
- 22:47you read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, you'll see how Jesus
- 22:49responded all the time was kind of cultural. Amen. And yes, he
- 22:53respected the culture of his time. He even participated in ceremonies. He participated
- 23:00and passed over. He participated in the synagogue. Amen. But the message
- 23:06that he spoke and demonstrated was counter what they were expecting. When Jesus came
- 23:11on a donkey. They wanted him to come on a white horse, and
- 23:15they wanted him to go and overthrow the government and rule and rain as the
- 23:19mashik McGee, the Messiah. But what did he do. He went straight
- 23:22to the church, He went straight to the people and the synegod Amen.
- 23:26And he came in not on a white horse, but on a donkey,
- 23:30showing his humility. He was humble. Amen. And of course what were
- 23:33they screaming, Hossana Hassana, king you know, David, the most High
- 23:38God. How they were shouting and bringing him in through and the same people,
- 23:45not all of them, but some of the same people that were crying
- 23:47Hosanna, Hosanna in the Highest And then not too long after that, not
- 23:52all of them, but a lot of them were saying crucifying why because he
- 23:56didn't do what they wanted him to do. He didn't respond the way they
- 24:00wanted him to respond. He didn't react the way they wanted him to react.
- 24:06He didn't take over the way they wanted him to take over. No,
- 24:08because Jesus doesn't respond according to how we feel he should do it.
- 24:14He responds according to how he knows we need him to respond. He knows
- 24:18he knew then, and he knows now that he is sovereign, He's God.
- 24:22Amen. There was no confusion in the identity of Jesus. He knows,
- 24:27he knew, and he knows exactly what needs to be done a man,
- 24:30for us to live this life, for us to be saved, and
- 24:36for us to be rescued, and for us to be in this world,
- 24:40but not to be of the world. The Bible says, So it's always
- 24:42going to be a kind of cultural message. I try, you know,
- 24:45to keep everything level on these morning sessions, but I have to understand,
- 24:52even me, I have to be like, the message is not always going
- 24:56to be nice, and the message is not always going to be received.
- 25:00Why. Because the message of the Gospel. Jesus's life is teachings, his
- 25:04way, his truth, his life Kunter Cultural. There's no way I can
- 25:10make this gospel fit into the way the world wants it. Amen. It's
- 25:14my responsibility and it's impossible anyway. The gospel is going to offend somebody.
- 25:18The Gospel is going to be rejected by somebody. The Gospel is going to
- 25:23be tossed out, and the Gospels is going to be replaced by some people's
- 25:27imagination or their way of living. They're going to try to hold on to
- 25:32their life, and Jesus said, you do that, you're going to lose
- 25:34your life. But if you hold on to him and his life, you'll
- 25:38find it. Amen. There's a lot here. Mark didn't include things like
- 25:45long genealogies like Matthew did, or as many references to the law and the
- 25:49prophets like the other gospels did. Those things wouldn't have been as relevant and
- 25:55may not have even made sense to people who weren't Jewish. Gospel is different
- 26:00than the other gospels. Right. Mark wanted to show his readers who Jesus
- 26:04was and why he came because those questions right there, Amen, are so
- 26:10very important. Who is Jesus and why did he come? Amen? And
- 26:15I'm telling you that those two questions had me stuck before the Lord saved my
- 26:21life. I was like, who is this Jesus? Why is everybody talking
- 26:23about him? And why would he come to this world to rescue me?
- 26:29I couldn't make the connection. I'm telling you, a man, it was
- 26:32so anti cultural, so anti me. Amen. I didn't understand this type
- 26:36of love. And this love, Amen, is a blessed type of love.
- 26:40It's an authentic type of love. It's a real love. It's at
- 26:44a god a love. It's a God demonstrating love. God demonstrated his own
- 26:48Loved's not demonstrating the love of this world. Amen. God demonstrates his own
- 26:52love for us in this that while we were still sinners, haters of God.
- 26:57Amen. Because his message was so so anti cultural, it was not
- 27:03what we thought. A man, he still died for us. If I
- 27:07was the only one on the planet, or if you were the only one
- 27:10on the planet and there was nobody else around, Jesus would have still died
- 27:14for you and died for me right there on the spot to give us eternal
- 27:18life, Amen, to offer us forgiveness, or a man and all that
- 27:21why because he's God, He's love, Amen. And in him there is
- 27:26no shade of turning or shadow or darkness. In him is only truth,
- 27:30no lives in him, is only eternity, because he's an eternal being.
- 27:34Amen. And he sacrificed, he served and sacrificed, sacrifice and served.
- 27:40Amen. That's anti cultural, that goes against the grain of what this world
- 27:45thinks and how they want to move and how they want us to move as
- 27:48believers. So the relevance of what Jesus said and how he did things a
- 27:59man wasn't really relevant to the Jewish culture at this time. And remember the
- 28:03Bible says that Jesus came to his own and his own what, and his
- 28:06very own people rejected him. You think that this message is going to be
- 28:11received by everybody. It's so funny when I see, you know, those
- 28:15popular charismatic preachers or evangelists or anything like that, passive teacher that is so
- 28:21received by the world, and they got millions of worldly people following them.
- 28:25And when you ask people about, you know, their relationship with God,
- 28:29a lot of them say, you know what, I don't really serve God
- 28:32like that. But I follow this dude or this woman, and you heard
- 28:36of a person, I'll be like, yeah, they're Christian, right,
- 28:38yeah, I follow them. Notice that they follow them and their teachings,
- 28:44but they don't follow the teachers of the Lord Jesus Amen. So people become
- 28:47puffed up with their ministries. Oh look, in my ministry, millions of
- 28:51people are getting saved. No, millions of people might be not saved.
- 28:53They just might be following your teachings that are really relevant to the culture,
- 28:59and you're not really preaching the gospel. I know for sure that God could
- 29:03use people, and he has been he always will be using people to advance
- 29:07the Kingdom of God, and those people will become popular. But what I
- 29:11don't understand is how people are so popular with the world and yet the world
- 29:17is not getting saved by the message that they're supposedly preaching, which is the
- 29:22gospel. There should be a rejection of the gospel. Right, people could
- 29:26follow me. I don't want people to follow me, but they can,
- 29:29but I want them to follow the Lord of who I'm sharing the gospel about
- 29:33man more important. Early on in ministry, I made that mistake, and
- 29:37I thought people were following Jesus, because they were following me. And come
- 29:41to find out, a lot of people were following my word, not the
- 29:45word of God. So I had to change on the way in my approach
- 29:48on my ministry early on a man, just to make sure that people were
- 29:52getting saved and that people were not getting saved by you know what I have
- 29:56to save, but they were getting saved by the savor himself. But the
- 29:57while, God bless you, bro, God blessed. Welcome to the morning
- 30:02Devio authentic imitationology. It's Friday, so we're doing our thing over here.
- 30:07Amen. Sister Joy says, amazing grace is love? Amen? Amen,
- 30:11good teaching, Yes, it's amazing grace. How sweet the sound for God
- 30:15to save a wretch like I was. I was a wretch. Amen.
- 30:19I'm no longer a wretch. I'm no longer a sinner saved by grace.
- 30:23I am a saint that deals with sin because everybody else has sin full tendencies.
- 30:30Because we have a flesh that we deal with on a day to day
- 30:33basis. Amen, Jesus Christ did not come and save our flesh. He
- 30:37came and save our soul. Amen. And our spirit is already perfect because
- 30:41we created the image of God. So that's an amazing gospel that we have.
- 30:48Amen. And guess what, I can't prove this all to be true,
- 30:52and I don't have to. Holy Spirit, God himself will do the
- 30:55convincing and convicting. He would show up as a servant, a servant,
- 31:00and as a person who shows the ultimate sacrifice that he has already made.
- 31:04And Jesus doesn't have to go back to the cross. There was a one
- 31:08for all situation. He did it once for all, doesn't have to go
- 31:12back to the cross and do it again to try to convince people that he
- 31:18is exactly who he says he is, and he is exactly who the prophets
- 31:22all through the scriptures say he was Jesus Lord. Whether or not you believe
- 31:26it or not. But guess what, every need will bow and every time
- 31:30will confess that Jesus is Lord. So come to him willingly. Now a
- 31:34man go to Jesus willingly. He served a man. He didn't come to
- 31:40be served. He served a man us, and he sacrificed and he showed
- 31:45that, demonstrated that once and for all a man. So you could buy
- 31:48your knee now willingly. If not, you're going to buy your knee one
- 31:55day, and it's not going to be a situation that you're gonna be like
- 31:59on Bio, my knee out to be saved. You're gonna be bound your
- 32:00knee and be like, man, why did I reject this gospel, this
- 32:05message, this Lord, this savior, this God who loved me? Why
- 32:08would you do that? Amen? Is because the message of the gospel is
- 32:15counter cultural? I said, Anti, it's countercultural. How was Jesus teaching
- 32:20about service and self sacrifice counter cultural? You know it's true. Amen.
- 32:25When you speak about God, a lot of people say, oh yeah,
- 32:29I believe there's a God, a higher power, higher being out there.
- 32:31As soon as you say Jesus is that God, now you have a conversation
- 32:36goes against It flies against people's ideas. So God is good. God is
- 32:45good. Let's see, Joanne, God bless you. Joanne says, I
- 32:49just want to let my brothers and sisters know. I know they're with me,
- 32:53and I know they're praying for me. I go for my procedure today
- 32:58and I know God is with me. Amen. God has definitely been demonstrating
- 33:02his power, his love, his grace, his mercy, his healing power,
- 33:07over your life since Joanne, and of course we will be praying,
- 33:10and of course the prayer team will always be praying for you, and I
- 33:14will pray for you as well. And those who love you and honor you
- 33:17and are brothers and sisters in Christ and the Kingdom with you. We got
- 33:21you. Amen. Thank you so much for letting us know about your procedure
- 33:24today, expecting nothing but God to show up in your situation like He has
- 33:30been showing up. Amen, your testimony. So God bless you all.
- 33:34I thank you so much for hanging out with me. I hope you have
- 33:37a great weekend, the start of a new weekend. Right and man,
- 33:40do what's right, do what honors God and pleases God. Amen. Don't
- 33:45hold on to the things of this world. Let it all go, Amen,
- 33:49Because if you hold on to your own life and your own trying to
- 33:52save your own life, Jesus said, you'll lose it. But if you
- 33:54let go of that and you go and live for the Lord, Amen,
- 33:58you will find your life and life from abundance. Amen. Sister n Irie,
- 34:01God bless you. Pray for my son and me in the name of
- 34:05Jesus. I pray for sister and Irie his son and her son, and
- 34:09Jesus Name. I pray Lo God, that whatever the situation is, that
- 34:12you will be in the situation making peace and putting unity in the hearts and
- 34:17in the family, and that you, Lord God, will be sovereign in
- 34:21their life, and that you will, Lord God, lift yourself up and
- 34:23be the one who they can focus on, the one they could trust,
- 34:28and the one that they could respond to in love, because you are the
- 34:30God who loves them. In Jesus Name, Amen and Amen. So I'm
- 34:35out of here. God, bless you, God keep you, and remember
- 34:37always that God is good. Peace,
