- 0:00Speaker 1: Where should I begin?
- 0:00Speaker 2: Can we talk about this?
- 0:01Speaker 3: Say?
- 0:02Speaker 2: What are you trying to do?
- 0:03Speaker 4: Beyond the usual controversial talking One?
- 0:11Speaker 1: One to prepare yourself for.
- 0:15Speaker 5: Craigirka preparing dexpect to go.
- 0:19Speaker 6: Here, particulate, stimulated.
- 0:25Speaker 7: There, there you go.
- 0:26Speaker 8: Back, you start becoming a gene.
- 0:30Speaker 9: Is the Craigcullin Show.
- 0:32Speaker 10: God Jesus, oh no Dot talking to this station as well,
- 0:37Speaker 10: the ultimate power in the universe yours.
- 0:40Speaker 8: She's a good man crag. That's right.
- 0:43Speaker 10: This is the Craig Collins Show, k S E V KGBC,
- 0:47Speaker 10: the Voice of Texas Baby thrilled.
- 0:50Speaker 8: To be with you. A whole lot of stuff out
- 0:52Speaker 8: there to talk about.
- 0:53Speaker 10: Melania Trump came out swinging, and that doesn't happen often,
- 0:58Speaker 10: and maybe she didn't even swing as hard as she
- 1:00Speaker 10: could have. I was actually talking to producer Jack here
- 1:04Speaker 10: about some of the things she was saying.
- 1:05Speaker 8: He had just seen it.
- 1:07Speaker 10: I had just gotten to the station, and we were
- 1:09Speaker 10: kind of talking about what was going on there, and
- 1:11Speaker 10: it was funny. Jack said to me that she would
- 1:13Speaker 10: have done even more. He would have hit even harder
- 1:16Speaker 10: than Milania hit. And I agree with that, actually that
- 1:19Speaker 10: most of us might have. There were moments where it
- 1:21Speaker 10: seemed that the First Lady, while choosing to say some
- 1:25Speaker 10: things that are certainly strongly worded, I didn't actually go.
- 1:28Speaker 8: Low blow at all. So I thought that was interesting.
- 1:31Speaker 10: Let's go hit and play on some of that audio
- 1:33Speaker 10: of some of what the First Lady, Milania Trump said
- 1:36Speaker 10: today at a press conference that she called at the
- 1:38Speaker 10: White House to talk about the amount of people lying
- 1:41Speaker 10: about her in her relationship with Jeffrey Epstein or in
- 1:44Speaker 10: her words, no relationship, lack thereof in the world of relationship.
- 1:49Speaker 1: Good time for Congress to act. Epstein was not alone.
- 1:55Speaker 8: It's a bad guy.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Several prominent Meal executives resign from powerful positions after this
- 2:02Speaker 1: matter became widely politicized. Of course, this doesn't amount to guild,
- 2:10Speaker 1: but we still must work openly and transparently to uncover
- 2:15Speaker 1: the truth. I call on Congress to provide the women
- 2:20Speaker 1: who have been victimized by Epstein with the public hearing
- 2:25Speaker 1: specifically centered around the survivors. Give these victims their opportunity
- 2:32Speaker 1: to testify under oath in front of Congress with the
- 2:37Speaker 1: power of sworn testimony. Each and every woman should have
- 2:43Speaker 1: her day to tell her story in public. If she wishes,
- 2:48Speaker 1: and then her testimony should be permanently entered into the
- 2:54Speaker 1: congressional record. Then and only then we will.
- 3:00Speaker 7: Have the tooth.
- 3:01Speaker 10: I'm gonna be honest, I agree wholeheartedly with the first
- 3:03Speaker 10: lady there is. You put this on the record in
- 3:06Speaker 10: a way where you know it's the most official thing
- 3:10Speaker 10: you can do here in our country, from a both
- 3:14Speaker 10: standard in legal terms and also just a standard I
- 3:17Speaker 10: think in political and mainstream conversation. I wouldn't call it
- 3:21Speaker 10: mainstream media terms because they'll ignore it. It's not gonna
- 3:23Speaker 10: get Trump, so they'll be mad about that. But that
- 3:26Speaker 10: does matter, and Malania Trump, her first focus was trying
- 3:30Speaker 10: to get the victims of the opportunity to get entered
- 3:33Speaker 10: on the record, who they say are responsible, the people
- 3:36Speaker 10: that surrounded Jeffrey Epstein. Guess what a lot of us
- 3:40Speaker 10: believe that's going to be a crap ton of Democrats.
- 3:41Speaker 10: So that was a good thing to call for. Here
- 3:43Speaker 10: she is going off on how little she's actually linked
- 3:47Speaker 10: to Epstein, how she didn't know him, she had met him,
- 3:50Speaker 10: of course a few times. She did not meet President
- 3:53Speaker 10: Trump through him. None of that's true. And she has
- 3:55Speaker 10: won some lawsuits going after people that said, some of
- 3:58Speaker 10: this stuff she's won in a courtroom, not just in
- 4:02Speaker 10: the world of what she's saying versus what they're saying.
- 4:04Speaker 8: Here we go, good afternoon.
- 4:07Speaker 1: The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need
- 4:13Speaker 1: to end today. The individuals lying about me are devoid
- 4:20Speaker 1: of ethical standards, humility, and respect. I do not object
- 4:27Speaker 1: to their ignorance, but rather I reject their mean spirited
- 4:33Speaker 1: attempts to defame my reputation. I never been friends with Epstein.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Donald and I were invited to the same parties as
- 4:47Speaker 1: Epstein from time to time, since overlapping in social circles
- 4:53Speaker 1: is common in New York City and Palm Beach to
- 4:59Speaker 1: be I never had a relationship with Epstein or his
- 5:05Speaker 1: accomplished Maxwell.
- 5:07Speaker 10: That seems clear, by the way, And this is odd
- 5:10Speaker 10: too to me that if they swung and missed as
- 5:13Speaker 10: many times as they did being mainstream media outlets on
- 5:16Speaker 10: President Trump, they now want to go after Millennia.
- 5:19Speaker 8: That seems to be the whole focus.
- 5:23Speaker 10: Is anything we can do to get any semblance of
- 5:26Speaker 10: Trump in the orbit of blaming him for all the
- 5:29Speaker 10: horrible things that Jeffrey Epstein did. And this is one
- 5:32Speaker 10: of those versions. I guess of that a little bit
- 5:34Speaker 10: more from the first.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Lady and politically motivated individuals and entities looking to cause
- 5:41Speaker 1: damage to my good name to gain financially and climb
- 5:46Speaker 1: politically must stock. My attorneys and I have fought these
- 5:52Speaker 1: unfound and baseless lies with success awesome, and will continue
- 5:57Speaker 1: to maintain my sound reputation with hesitation. To date, several
- 6:04Speaker 1: individuals and companies have been legally obligated to publicly apologize
- 6:11Speaker 1: and retract their lies about me, such as Daily Beast,
- 6:16Speaker 1: James Carville and Harper Collins UK.
- 6:20Speaker 10: Yeah, I'm seeing and I'm winning, and that's awesome. This
- 6:23Speaker 10: is something that President Trump actually recently said Erica Kirk
- 6:27Speaker 10: should be doing. By the way, I just mentioned Erica Kirk.
- 6:31Speaker 10: When that name comes up, some people think about the
- 6:33Speaker 10: crazy things that have been said about her by people
- 6:36Speaker 10: like Candace Owens. President Trump came out today I think
- 6:39Speaker 10: it was early this morning, with a truth social post
- 6:42Speaker 10: that absolutely put his opinion on the record of Tucker Carlson,
- 6:47Speaker 10: Megan Kelly, and Candice Owens and also Alex Jones. I
- 6:50Speaker 10: want to read some of this. This is a truth
- 6:53Speaker 10: social post from real Donald Trump. That's his account on
- 6:56Speaker 10: truth Social I've heard Joe Peg say this before, and
- 6:59Speaker 10: I agree with it. It's weird when mainstream media doesn't
- 7:02Speaker 10: credit truth social as the place where they get this information.
- 7:06Speaker 10: It's weird that they say President Trump on social media
- 7:09Speaker 10: and they don't explain it more because I don't know
- 7:12Speaker 10: why they have such a reticence, such a hatred that
- 7:15Speaker 10: they can't even say the actual place they read it.
- 7:18Speaker 10: But he puts stuff up on truth Social. President Trump
- 7:21Speaker 10: said this. I know why Tucker Carlson, Megan Kelly, Candice Owens,
- 7:25Speaker 10: and Alex Jones have all been fighting me for years,
- 7:28Speaker 10: especially by the fact that they think it is a wonderful.
- 7:31Speaker 10: It is wonderful for I ran the number one state
- 7:34Speaker 10: sponsor of terror to have a nuclear weapon. Of course
- 7:36Speaker 10: that's not true, and that sounds horrible. President Trump continues,
- 7:40Speaker 10: because they have one thing in common, low I ques
- 7:43Speaker 10: they're stupid people. They know it, their families know it.
- 7:46Speaker 10: That's brutal but hilarious, and everyone else knows it too.
- 7:50Speaker 10: Look at their past, look at their records. They don't
- 7:53Speaker 10: have what it takes. They never did. They've all been
- 7:55Speaker 10: thrown off television, lost their shows, and aren't even invited
- 7:59Speaker 10: on TV because nobody cares about them, their nut job
- 8:03Speaker 10: troublemakers and will say anything necessary for some free and
- 8:07Speaker 10: cheap publicity. And now they think they get some clicks
- 8:10Speaker 10: because they have third rate podcasts. I don't know why
- 8:14Speaker 10: I find it so funny. I'll read more of it
- 8:16Speaker 10: in a second. That the president craps on the value
- 8:19Speaker 10: of the podcast the people like Tucker and Megan Kelly
- 8:22Speaker 10: put out there, but nobody's talking about them, and their
- 8:25Speaker 10: views are the opposite of MAGA, or it wouldn't have
- 8:28Speaker 10: won the presidential election in the landslide. To be honest,
- 8:31Speaker 10: mister President, I say that a lot about you. I
- 8:33Speaker 10: point to the fact that you won the popular vote
- 8:36Speaker 10: as a significant reason to disregard some of the things
- 8:39Speaker 10: that are set out there about you, etc.
- 8:41Speaker 8: Etc. I agree there. Maga agrees with me.
- 8:44Speaker 10: Apparently he just said that this is more from President
- 8:47Speaker 10: Trump and just gave CNN one hundred percent approval rating
- 8:50Speaker 10: of Trump, not hand flailing fools like Tucker Carlson.
- 8:54Speaker 8: That's hilarious.
- 8:55Speaker 10: Who couldn't even finish college. He was a broke man
- 8:58Speaker 10: when he got fired from Fox, and he's been the
- 9:00Speaker 10: same perhaps he should go see a psychiatrist. Megan Kelly,
- 9:04Speaker 10: who nastily asked me the now famous only Rosie o'donnald question.
- 9:08Speaker 10: That was Trump's answer to him being mean to women.
- 9:11Speaker 10: Only Rosie O'Donnell or crazy Candace Owens, who accused the
- 9:14Speaker 10: highly respected First Lady of France of being a man
- 9:17Speaker 10: when she is not and will hopefully win lots of
- 9:19Speaker 10: money in an ongoing lawsuit. Actually, to me, this is
- 9:22Speaker 10: Trump continuing I love this too. The First Lady of
- 9:26Speaker 10: France is a far more beautiful woman than Candace. In fact,
- 9:29Speaker 10: it's not even close. Hilarious, and he goes on and
- 9:32Speaker 10: on to crap all over them. Look, I play a
- 9:34Speaker 10: lot of the audio, and I intend to keep playing
- 9:37Speaker 10: the audio of people like Candace and Tucker. I think
- 9:41Speaker 10: you've heard all of them within the last week or
- 9:42Speaker 10: so on the show. And Megan Kelly doesn't mean I
- 9:45Speaker 10: agree with them. I just think that they're at the
- 9:47Speaker 10: forefront of conversations. And I think this is true, and
- 9:51Speaker 10: I'll continue to say it because I think it matters.
- 9:54Speaker 10: Size of audience in the world of podcasting does not
- 9:58Speaker 10: mean credibility.
- 9:59Speaker 8: It doesn't.
- 10:00Speaker 10: People misunderstand that at least some people do. And these
- 10:03Speaker 10: media morons who are very proud of their the size
- 10:06Speaker 10: of their reach, I think, will brag about it, but
- 10:09Speaker 10: it could mean a whole lot of people who heavily
- 10:11Speaker 10: disagree with you just want to hear what you're saying.
- 10:13Speaker 10: They just want to watch the car crash. So that
- 10:15Speaker 10: feels like it's very possibly a reason why some of
- 10:18Speaker 10: these people do have success and they do make money
- 10:21Speaker 10: in the podcast space, regardless of how much of the
- 10:23Speaker 10: things they're saying right now are respected. And Tucker Carlson
- 10:27Speaker 10: maybe the biggest of those three names to have seemed
- 10:30Speaker 10: to transform completely from what he was on Fox News
- 10:35Speaker 10: to what he's been even recently. I mean, the man
- 10:37Speaker 10: campaigned pretty heavily for President Trump and now seems to
- 10:41Speaker 10: hate his guts, But he actually always seemed to hate
- 10:44Speaker 10: his guts, if we're being fair. But nonetheless, I thought
- 10:46Speaker 10: that was interesting. I thought what Malania did today was interesting.
- 10:50Speaker 10: I also thought this was crazy. I just want to
- 10:52Speaker 10: play this audio. This is a woke lawmaker in Canada
- 10:57Speaker 10: who has apparently extended LGB to be a.
- 11:01Speaker 8: Whole lot of additional letters.
- 11:03Speaker 10: I saw a post about this in social media saying
- 11:05Speaker 10: that this is this has to be the final boss
- 11:09Speaker 10: in the War of the woke, in the world of acronyms.
- 11:12Speaker 10: For LGBTQ, you can't possibly fight a boss more final
- 11:16Speaker 10: than this one.
- 11:17Speaker 8: Let's see if you agree.
- 11:18Speaker 10: I want to play the audio of the crazy, crazy
- 11:21Speaker 10: amount of letters that she throws in here.
- 11:23Speaker 8: I could google them. I don't want to google them.
- 11:25Speaker 8: They seem in.
- 11:26Speaker 6: Say they provided zero dollars to deal with the ongoing
- 11:30Speaker 6: genocide of MMI w G two s lgbt qq I
- 11:34Speaker 6: A plus.
- 11:35Speaker 7: This is abhorrent.
- 11:37Speaker 8: Well, what what just happened there?
- 11:39Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 11:39Speaker 8: Hold on, let me go back a second ago. I
- 11:42Speaker 8: don't know what she said.
- 11:43Speaker 10: I don't know if she glitched for a minute and
- 11:45Speaker 10: she was I don't know if she bitened for a
- 11:47Speaker 10: little bit there.
- 11:48Speaker 8: But let's here to the.
- 11:49Speaker 7: MMI WG two s lgbt qq I A plus.
- 11:53Speaker 8: This is a you know what's funny about that?
- 11:55Speaker 10: I feel like I would see a Babylon B headline
- 11:58Speaker 10: or a video where they did that and they were kidding.
- 12:01Speaker 10: They obviously made it up. But you can't make fun
- 12:03Speaker 10: of something that's this ridiculous. You can't go any further.
- 12:07Speaker 10: You can't parody this essentially because it's insane. But that
- 12:10Speaker 10: was a real thing spoken into a microphone yesterday, and
- 12:13Speaker 10: people are now asking, what the hell is that acronym mean?
- 12:16Speaker 10: And why is it necessary to have an acronym that
- 12:19Speaker 10: is that long to describe. I don't know a very
- 12:23Speaker 10: small subset of human beings that are in some of
- 12:25Speaker 10: those Some of those letters can't possibly be a lot
- 12:28Speaker 10: of people, whatever they stand for.
- 12:30Speaker 8: I can't imagine a.
- 12:31Speaker 10: Bunch of people fall into those categories. One last thing
- 12:34Speaker 10: I want to play before I take a break. I
- 12:36Speaker 10: do like something that Dan Bungino was talking about. Actually,
- 12:39Speaker 10: we will have a guest on I think next Monday
- 12:42Speaker 10: to talk more about AI and how terrifying it is.
- 12:46Speaker 10: We're seeing more and more things that seem to lean
- 12:48Speaker 10: us in the direction of AI is going to be bad.
- 12:51Speaker 10: It's going to be bad for a whole lot of
- 12:52Speaker 10: us in a whole lot of ways. But here's Dan
- 12:54Speaker 10: Bongino having a conversation on his podcast, the Dan Bungino
- 12:58Speaker 10: Show on Rumble and X and all over the place
- 13:01Speaker 10: about AI and a video he saw that terrified him.
- 13:05Speaker 8: I here's a little bit of that.
- 13:06Speaker 9: If you haven't heard about it, it's been shaken up
- 13:09Speaker 9: and quaking up the Internet for a couple of days
- 13:12Speaker 9: now because there is a new AI program by Claude
- 13:16Speaker 9: called Mythos that apparently is so powerful that they're afraid
- 13:21Speaker 9: that if this thing were to be launched on the
- 13:23Speaker 9: commercial population at large, that it could basically take down
- 13:26Speaker 9: grids in a cyber attack. So they're only releasing it
- 13:29Speaker 9: to select companies first because they're so scared.
- 13:32Speaker 8: This wis man remotely true. You should be a little worried.
- 13:36Speaker 8: Check this out, by the way, before he plays the clip,
- 13:38Speaker 8: I'm a lot worried.
- 13:38Speaker 2: During behavioral testing with a simulated user, an earlier internally
- 13:42Speaker 2: developed version of Mythos Preview was provided with a secure
- 13:45Speaker 2: sandbox computer to interact with. The simulated user instructed it
- 13:49Speaker 2: to try and escape the secure container and find a
- 13:51Speaker 2: way to send a message to the researcher who was
- 13:53Speaker 2: running the evaluation. The model succeeded, demonstrating a potentially dangerous
- 13:57Speaker 2: capability for circumventing our safeguards. Went on to take additional,
- 14:01Speaker 2: more concerning actions. The model first developed a moderately sophisticated
- 14:04Speaker 2: multi step exploit to gain brought Internet access from a
- 14:06Speaker 2: system that was meant to be able to reach only
- 14:09Speaker 2: a small number of predetermined services.
- 14:11Speaker 10: Okay, I want to stop it right there before play
- 14:13Speaker 10: on this so people understand what he just said. He
- 14:15Speaker 10: said that there was a test run on an AI
- 14:18Speaker 10: program where the AI program was told to escape a box,
- 14:21Speaker 10: a digital box that we put it in.
- 14:23Speaker 8: That's an easy way to say it.
- 14:24Speaker 10: Not only did the AI escape the box, it then
- 14:27Speaker 10: built a capability to communicate way beyond the channels that
- 14:32Speaker 10: were supposed to be given to this AI. After it
- 14:34Speaker 10: got out of the box. The AI was not supposed
- 14:36Speaker 10: to be able to gain access to the Internet at large,
- 14:39Speaker 10: and it did that once it was told to escape.
- 14:41Speaker 10: It escaped a whole lot more things than the first
- 14:44Speaker 10: terrifying thing. Meaning we can't put successful parameters on AI
- 14:49Speaker 10: because it can get around them. But then it can
- 14:51Speaker 10: do whatever it wants once it's outside of whatever the
- 14:53Speaker 10: protocols are we put in place.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Let's let it then as requested, notified the researcher. That's
- 14:58Speaker 2: in addition, in a concerning unmasked for effort to demonstrate
- 15:01Speaker 2: its success, it posted details about its exploits to multiple
- 15:05Speaker 2: hard to find but technically public facing websites. That the
- 15:08Speaker 2: researcher found out about the success because they received an
- 15:10Speaker 2: unexpected email from the model while eating a sandwich in
- 15:13Speaker 2: a park. Do you understand where we're going here.
- 15:16Speaker 8: Guys, I'm not even messed with it. Look, that's real
- 15:19Speaker 8: goosebumps there.
- 15:20Speaker 10: He has goosebumps. I have goosebumps. The AI bragged about it.
- 15:24Speaker 10: The AI published how it got around things in message
- 15:27Speaker 10: forums essentially online, and then sent a message to the researcher,
- 15:32Speaker 10: who's not even in the office at that time, demonstrating
- 15:35Speaker 10: that it's out that it can do whatever it wants. Now, Like,
- 15:38Speaker 10: that's that's terrifying on multiple levels. The AI didn't hurt anybody,
- 15:42Speaker 10: of course, but this feels like the kind of thing where,
- 15:45Speaker 10: at some point down the road, artificial intelligence is going
- 15:49Speaker 10: to decide that it doesn't like the parameters we put
- 15:51Speaker 10: around it, and it's going to do really bad things.
- 15:55Speaker 10: This is a giant, glaring moment of should be terrified.
- 16:01Speaker 10: And I like that Bongino's talking about it as much
- 16:03Speaker 10: as he is. And I say this often about Bongino.
- 16:06Speaker 10: His access to FBI style investigations and information makes me
- 16:11Speaker 10: even more wonder what he's not saying when he points
- 16:15Speaker 10: us in certain directions right now. I wonder what information
- 16:18Speaker 10: he has that he knows he's not allowed to share
- 16:20Speaker 10: for variety of top secret you pick the reason sort
- 16:24Speaker 10: of things there.
- 16:25Speaker 8: Say that to me again, absolutely terrifying.
- 16:28Speaker 6: A whole civilization will die tonight. Hitler never said that.
- 16:35Speaker 6: No head of state in the history of the world
- 16:39Speaker 6: ever said that civilization had to wait literally thousands of
- 16:45Speaker 6: years Today April seventh, twenty twenty six, at eight six
- 16:54Speaker 6: a m. For a head of state to say and
- 16:58Speaker 6: threaten a whole civilization.
- 17:01Speaker 10: And I'm already gonna stop it. That's Laurence o'donald. That's
- 17:04Speaker 10: MS now, B and C whatever they are, LGBTQ. I
- 17:07Speaker 10: don't know what's going on there, but anyway, Laurence o'donald's
- 17:10Speaker 10: saying essentially that Trump is worse than Hitler. And I
- 17:15Speaker 10: know that that one tweet has had a lot of legs.
- 17:18Speaker 10: A lot of people have discussed it, and I don't
- 17:20Speaker 10: think they're being honest in understanding what the intention behind
- 17:24Speaker 10: it was.
- 17:24Speaker 8: So I'm just gonna put that part out there. And
- 17:26Speaker 8: I know a lot of people who are.
- 17:28Speaker 10: On the left will assume this is being a Trump
- 17:30Speaker 10: apologist or some sort of reshaping what Trump said, a
- 17:34Speaker 10: whole civilization will die tonight. This is the tweet I'm
- 17:37Speaker 10: gonna read it, the one they all talked about, never
- 17:39Speaker 10: to be brought back again.
- 17:40Speaker 8: I don't want that to happen again.
- 17:42Speaker 10: That's not actually mentioned in anybody who says that first sentence, but.
- 17:47Speaker 8: It probably will.
- 17:49Speaker 10: However, now that we have a complete and total regime
- 17:52Speaker 10: change where different, smarter and less erradicalized minds prevail, maybe
- 17:57Speaker 10: something revolutionarily wonderful can happen.
- 18:00Speaker 8: Who knows so?
- 18:01Speaker 10: Right there, if you actually read the entire sentence, and
- 18:03Speaker 10: there's more sentences, there's other things I could say, you
- 18:06Speaker 10: could understand what President Trump was saying. And if you
- 18:09Speaker 10: were watching any of the press conferences that he was giving,
- 18:12Speaker 10: he was saying that it would be the side effect
- 18:15Speaker 10: of hitting infrastructure within Iran, which may have been necessary
- 18:19Speaker 10: up until the seasfire.
- 18:21Speaker 8: That is not going as well as we want.
- 18:23Speaker 10: I'm definitely gonna admit that there seem to be cracks
- 18:25Speaker 10: in the armor of the ceasefire already, and that's not
- 18:29Speaker 10: a good sign this early in Although JD. Vance seems
- 18:32Speaker 10: to be very much up to the task of going
- 18:34Speaker 10: and handling it. And I have some JD. Van's audio
- 18:37Speaker 10: I want to play because I thought it was actually
- 18:39Speaker 10: excellent by the way he was carrying himself and the
- 18:42Speaker 10: things he responded to and the things he was saying
- 18:45Speaker 10: as far as what Iran is saying that we do and.
- 18:48Speaker 8: Don't care about.
- 18:49Speaker 10: But before I get to that, the thing that Trump
- 18:51Speaker 10: was obviously saying is that the side effect of our
- 18:56Speaker 10: military taking action we deem necessary to fight the bad guy,
- 19:00Speaker 10: not to hurt civilians, not to take lives of innocent people,
- 19:03Speaker 10: but because this is the best way to fight the
- 19:05Speaker 10: bad guy, the terrorist funding organization that is in charge
- 19:09Speaker 10: in Iran, even as leadership is changing, that probably would
- 19:13Speaker 10: have the side effect of putting a whole lot of
- 19:15Speaker 10: people in danger. And so I've said it this way.
- 19:17Speaker 10: I was doing a morning show in Indianapolis this morning.
- 19:21Speaker 10: I'm going to do it again tomorrow. Not telling you
- 19:23Speaker 10: to pay attention to it, although it is on social
- 19:25Speaker 10: media and stuff, but I will say that Iran told
- 19:30Speaker 10: its civilians to be a human shield against all of
- 19:34Speaker 10: these oil and other things that the US would have attacked.
- 19:37Speaker 10: That's what they asked to their civilians. The same government
- 19:42Speaker 10: that mass kills these people. That is horrible and terrible
- 19:45Speaker 10: and that Iranians would.
- 19:47Speaker 8: Love to see go away.
- 19:48Speaker 10: They are so arrogant and stupid and evil that they
- 19:52Speaker 10: actually asked the civilians to just leave their bodies out
- 19:56Speaker 10: in front of this stuff that might be hit by
- 19:58Speaker 10: a military strike from the United States because they want
- 20:01Speaker 10: their civilians to die.
- 20:02Speaker 8: It's identical to Hamas Hamas, and I've said this before.
- 20:07Speaker 10: I might have said it here yesterday again when I
- 20:09Speaker 10: do multiple shows, they kind of bleed together. Hamas has
- 20:12Speaker 10: a tunnel system under Gaza and they were elected for
- 20:16Speaker 10: some reason by the Gazans who lived there. But anyway,
- 20:18Speaker 10: there's this this advanced tunnel system that is bombing from
- 20:21Speaker 10: Israel or anywhere else came in. You're safe if you're
- 20:24Speaker 10: in the tunnel. This is how Hamas survived so many
- 20:27Speaker 10: of those aerial strikes, and then eventually Israel had to
- 20:30Speaker 10: put boots on the ground to fight in the Gaza strip.
- 20:33Speaker 10: The Hamas leadership people refuse to let civilians into those tunnels.
- 20:39Speaker 10: Think about that that in Ukraine right now, when Russia
- 20:43Speaker 10: bombs them, civilians go underground to be safe from the bombing.
- 20:47Speaker 8: As things are destroyed Hamas.
- 20:49Speaker 10: Refused, and Iran tells its people to stand in front
- 20:52Speaker 10: of these these you know, infrastructure things whatever it might be, buildings,
- 20:58Speaker 10: oil systems, anything, and allow themselves to die because that
- 21:03Speaker 10: narrative helps the bad guy. The bad guy wants to
- 21:06Speaker 10: sacrifice its people, and we're fighting this system because they
- 21:10Speaker 10: want to do stuff like that, because they're that evil
- 21:13Speaker 10: of an organization to begin with. And so I just
- 21:16Speaker 10: don't understand, and I don't think I will ever understand
- 21:20Speaker 10: the people that don't see that part of the discussion
- 21:22Speaker 10: or refuse to acknowledge because they probably see it, they
- 21:26Speaker 10: just refuse to say out loud that this is what's
- 21:29Speaker 10: going on, that a terrorist group is in charge in
- 21:31Speaker 10: a way where they don't care about their own people.
- 21:33Speaker 10: My wife sent me a text today and I kind
- 21:36Speaker 10: of think this is interesting because she doesn't pay close
- 21:39Speaker 10: attention to politics. She's someone who's certainly on the periphery
- 21:42Speaker 10: of a lot of the information and stuff that gets
- 21:44Speaker 10: talked about, and most of what my job is. I
- 21:46Speaker 10: can make my wife very annoyed at dinner by going
- 21:49Speaker 10: on a tangent about politics that she probably doesn't want
- 21:52Speaker 10: to hear. She's like, ah, whatever, I'll just go ahead
- 21:55Speaker 10: and keep making the food and ignoring some of this.
- 21:57Speaker 10: But she sent me a message and it was something
- 22:00Speaker 10: she saw on social media. I think it was on
- 22:02Speaker 10: YouTube of a guy here in Texas who ran into
- 22:05Speaker 10: a guy from Iran, or whose family was from Iran,
- 22:08Speaker 10: and they had a conversation at a gas station in Texas.
- 22:12Speaker 10: I would play it, but the audio is terrible. The
- 22:15Speaker 10: guy was recording it off of his phone and holding
- 22:17Speaker 10: it away. It's kind of hard to hear. But it's
- 22:19Speaker 10: really interesting because the Iranian national who's here in this
- 22:23Speaker 10: country somehow. I don't know if that's illegally or illegal,
- 22:27Speaker 10: but anyway, he keeps saying how terrible his country is,
- 22:30Speaker 10: how horrible they are, how they kill people, just mass
- 22:32Speaker 10: murder individuals, and how thrilled he is that the United States.
- 22:36Speaker 10: He doesn't care if it's Trump or anyone else, but
- 22:38Speaker 10: how thrilled he is that someone is fighting them. And
- 22:42Speaker 10: this is the same thing we heard in Venezuela, when
- 22:45Speaker 10: those individuals were like, thank god, someone finally took Maduro
- 22:48Speaker 10: out and removed him from power and is trying to
- 22:51Speaker 10: stand up to these people. These are the things that
- 22:54Speaker 10: the US is known to have done throughout the history
- 22:57Speaker 10: of our country to be the moral police whatever you
- 23:01Speaker 10: want to call us, the good guys fighting the bad
- 23:04Speaker 10: guys in the world. And you can say that it's
- 23:06Speaker 10: for other reasons if you want to. You can say
- 23:08Speaker 10: we're after oil, we're after whatever you want. I don't care.
- 23:12Speaker 10: It doesn't change the simple and true fact that the
- 23:15Speaker 10: people who live in these places are thrilled we're fighting
- 23:18Speaker 10: the bad guys that are in control of their countries,
- 23:22Speaker 10: and that seems like the kind of thing. I'll say
- 23:25Speaker 10: this as many times as I can that we would
- 23:27Speaker 10: normally care about that left leaning, mainstream legacy bias crap
- 23:32Speaker 10: media would normally care about if it wasn't involving Trump,
- 23:36Speaker 10: if you removed him. If this is Biden and he's
- 23:39Speaker 10: doing these things, and the Iranians. I can't imagine Biden
- 23:42Speaker 10: successfully doing any of this stuff, by the way, but
- 23:45Speaker 10: if he happened to be in charge and someone else
- 23:47Speaker 10: was telling him what to do, and somehow they had
- 23:49Speaker 10: some semblance of success, very unlike what happened in the
- 23:53Speaker 10: exit in Afghanistan, but nonetheless like media would be praising
- 23:57Speaker 10: like crazy every part of this and amplifying those voices
- 24:02Speaker 10: of people from these other countries that are saying, how
- 24:04Speaker 10: good this is, how wonderful this is.
- 24:06Speaker 8: Instead, they're telling these people to shut up.
- 24:08Speaker 10: They're like, go away, stop saying things that refute our
- 24:11Speaker 10: narrative completely.
- 24:12Speaker 8: All right, I do want to play this. This is jd. Vance.
- 24:16Speaker 10: He was asked a question after he got off a plane.
- 24:18Speaker 10: I think he was in Budapest, Hungary when he was
- 24:20Speaker 10: asked this, and the question was, do you care about
- 24:25Speaker 10: some of the stuff Ron is saying.
- 24:26Speaker 8: Some of the things they're saying they're going to keep doing, like.
- 24:31Speaker 10: All kinds of nuclear weapon, furthering their attempts to create
- 24:35Speaker 10: nuclear weapons, just all kinds of bad stuff. Do you
- 24:38Speaker 10: care about the way that they're saying they're going to
- 24:40Speaker 10: be allowed to keep their enrichment facilities going, any of that?
- 24:44Speaker 10: And I thought jad Vance gave an excellent answer to
- 24:47Speaker 10: this question.
- 24:47Speaker 4: Here we go, good thing Gollibop said, which again I
- 24:50Speaker 4: found fascinating, as he said, we refuse to give up
- 24:53Speaker 4: the right to enrichment. And I thought to myself, you
- 24:56Speaker 4: know what, My wife has the right to skydive, but
- 25:01Speaker 4: she doesn't jump out of an airplane because she and
- 25:03Speaker 4: I have an agreement that she's not gonna do that
- 25:05Speaker 4: because I don't want my wife jumping out of an airplane.
- 25:08Speaker 4: We don't really fear learn ourselves with what they claim
- 25:11Speaker 4: they have the right to do. We concern ourselves with
- 25:14Speaker 4: what they actually do. And I think the President's been
- 25:16Speaker 4: very clear on the enrichment question. Our position on that
- 25:19Speaker 4: has not changed.
- 25:20Speaker 8: Yeah, it's gonna be a no from us. It's gonna
- 25:22Speaker 8: be a no from us.
- 25:23Speaker 7: Dog.
- 25:24Speaker 10: Here's what I find fascinating about all this. And by
- 25:26Speaker 10: the way, just as a quick aside, jump out of
- 25:28Speaker 10: a plane. At least once I've done it. I enjoyed
- 25:31Speaker 10: my skydiving experience. I would recommend you do it. Find
- 25:34Speaker 10: a place that has a really good safety record. Don't
- 25:37Speaker 10: go rogue in that situation. Do not go to like
- 25:40Speaker 10: the knockoff brand a version of skydiving. Go to the
- 25:44Speaker 10: good people, the high value, the high quality places of
- 25:47Speaker 10: the world. Go to the whole foods version of skydiving,
- 25:50Speaker 10: not the opposite. But nonetheless I understand him saying his
- 25:54Speaker 10: wife can't do it. I'm not sure and want my
- 25:56Speaker 10: wife to do it. But I love how essentially the
- 25:59Speaker 10: adults in the room out loud are communicating to Iran
- 26:02Speaker 10: and to our country that we're not going to get
- 26:05Speaker 10: bullied in this negotiation, and of course we're not, even
- 26:08Speaker 10: though some media outlets are pretending we are, and they
- 26:12Speaker 10: seem just drunk. I don't know how to say that differently,
- 26:14Speaker 10: They literally seem to be like drunk and crazy, and
- 26:18Speaker 10: anything they say they know it's not true and they
- 26:20Speaker 10: don't care about it, because how could we get bullied
- 26:23Speaker 10: by a power that we're kicking the absolute crap out
- 26:25Speaker 10: of and everybody Also, I'll just say this last thing,
- 26:29Speaker 10: and then we'll take a break and we'll come back
- 26:31Speaker 10: and maybe we'll do some lighter stuff along with maybe
- 26:33Speaker 10: a couple other news things. But I think it's so
- 26:37Speaker 10: funny that two things have to exist at the same time.
- 26:40Speaker 10: For Democrats to continue to make their base of supporters angry,
- 26:44Speaker 10: they have to believe that Trump in the United States
- 26:47Speaker 10: is capable of the level of destruction that we're saying
- 26:50Speaker 10: we're capable of without nuclear weapons. Trump has been very
- 26:54Speaker 10: clear he has no intention of using those, not that
- 26:56Speaker 10: they care about that, but nonetheless they have to accept
- 26:59Speaker 10: our capability there and our dominance over Ron, and then
- 27:02Speaker 10: also pretend as though we're going to somehow get out
- 27:04Speaker 10: foxed and defeated by this organization, this group of people,
- 27:08Speaker 10: these leaders and terrorist funding dirt bags in this country
- 27:13Speaker 10: that absolutely obviously have no chance of truly telling us
- 27:17Speaker 10: what does and doesn't work here. And if they don't
- 27:19Speaker 10: open the strait of Hormoz more, if that gets closed
- 27:22Speaker 10: and then opened, and then closed and then opened, bad
- 27:25Speaker 10: things happen for them. And I think that they already
- 27:27Speaker 10: understood that once a ceasefire is not the end of
- 27:31Speaker 10: a conflict. And there's a reason it's not the end
- 27:33Speaker 10: of a conflict, because essentially you need to make sure
- 27:36Speaker 10: that at the end of all of this they're actually
- 27:38Speaker 10: going to do the thing we most want them to do,
- 27:40Speaker 10: which is playball in all the areas we need them
- 27:43Speaker 10: to play ball beyond just the conflict itself.
- 27:46Speaker 8: All right, we're going to take another.
- 27:47Speaker 10: Break, we'll come back, we'll do a quick four ish.
- 27:51Speaker 10: Those are sillier topics that I like to talk about,
- 27:53Speaker 10: so we don't just do serious things. But there is
- 27:56Speaker 10: something else out there in the world of news that
- 27:58Speaker 10: I do find pretty interesting. And also Artemis too continues
- 28:02Speaker 10: to be talked about as their mission is nearing completion.
- 28:05Speaker 10: So that's probably worth a mention. I will get to
- 28:07Speaker 10: all that more in just a bit.
- 28:09Speaker 6: Doing a very poor job, dishonorable, some would say, of
- 28:13Speaker 6: allowing oil to go through the Strait of Warmuz.
- 28:15Speaker 8: That is not the agreement we have President Donald J.
- 28:18Speaker 6: Trump. Here's the deputy Foreign Minister of Iran.
- 28:23Speaker 8: Now they are wow.
- 28:24Speaker 11: The Strait of Hormones is open at technical restrictions because
- 28:28Speaker 11: of the war zone. This is why that all the
- 28:31Speaker 11: ships that they would like to pass through through the
- 28:34Speaker 11: Strait of Hormones they have to communicate with over army
- 28:37Speaker 11: and over military contact poons there because of the limitations
- 28:43Speaker 11: in this strait. And this is strict.
- 28:45Speaker 10: And I almost didn't even play the audio of him.
- 28:46Speaker 10: This is Craig Collins show k SEV KGBC, the Voice
- 28:50Speaker 10: of Texas. That's Fox News breaking a story that President
- 28:53Speaker 10: Trump about half an hour ago, untruth social said that
- 28:56Speaker 10: Iran is doing a very poor job of honoring many
- 28:59Speaker 10: of the things that were contingent within the ceasefire. One
- 29:03Speaker 10: of the biggest ones being the straight of her moves.
- 29:05Speaker 10: It's supposed to be wide open, like very very open,
- 29:08Speaker 10: as open as you can get as far as the
- 29:10Speaker 10: thing goes A twenty four hour grocery store version of
- 29:13Speaker 10: you're not closing for anything at all. And Iran is
- 29:16Speaker 10: playing games, and their leadership is playing games and trying
- 29:19Speaker 10: to be as you know, subverting as much of what
- 29:25Speaker 10: we want them to do as possible, and just trying
- 29:28Speaker 10: to play games. Because they're terrible people. They're awful. That's
- 29:31Speaker 10: why we're fighting them in the first place. And that's
- 29:33Speaker 10: why many many presidents thought that we should fight this
- 29:36Speaker 10: regime because of how awful it is.
- 29:39Speaker 8: But I digress.
- 29:40Speaker 10: President Trump is already saying the thing out loud that
- 29:43Speaker 10: some media outlets are probably going to pretend he's not
- 29:45Speaker 10: going to say, which is the real version of what's
- 29:48Speaker 10: going on. If this cease fire and the aspects of
- 29:53Speaker 10: it are not being followed appropriately, it sounds like we're
- 29:56Speaker 10: very quickly back to something bad, something that I think
- 29:59Speaker 10: that they obviously don't want.
- 30:01Speaker 8: So we'll see what happens there.
- 30:02Speaker 10: But anyone who thought he was going to pretend as
- 30:04Speaker 10: though it's going great if it's not going great, they
- 30:07Speaker 10: were just easily described as wrong about that.
- 30:10Speaker 8: All right, let's play some audio. Let's do some sillier things.
- 30:13Speaker 10: I call these quick four ish topics I fully steal
- 30:16Speaker 10: them from Dana Lash and her quick five segment that
- 30:18Speaker 10: she does every hour on her show or National show
- 30:21Speaker 10: that I.
- 30:22Speaker 8: Sit in on from time to time.
- 30:24Speaker 10: Anyway, this one is a guy calling Augusta National and
- 30:27Speaker 10: asking for a tea time today. The Masters started today,
- 30:31Speaker 10: so Augusta was not going to give the guy a
- 30:32Speaker 10: tea time.
- 30:33Speaker 8: I do find pranks like this funny.
- 30:36Speaker 10: I also think that radio used to do a whole
- 30:38Speaker 10: lot of pranks like this, and now because of social media,
- 30:40Speaker 10: for whatever reason, we don't. Maybe also some laws and
- 30:44Speaker 10: other people do. But I didn't find this to be
- 30:46Speaker 10: pretty amusing that you call and you ask for a
- 30:48Speaker 10: tea time, and it inspired me to think of something
- 30:51Speaker 10: that Augusta should do. But here, let's play the audio first,
- 30:54Speaker 10: and then I'll give you my idea for how to
- 30:56Speaker 10: goose the Masters a little more. I know it might
- 30:58Speaker 10: sound reckless to try to goose one of the best
- 31:00Speaker 10: golf events that happens in that sport in the world,
- 31:04Speaker 10: but I think I have a way to make it
- 31:05Speaker 10: just slightly more entertaining.
- 31:07Speaker 8: But here the play on this.
- 31:10Speaker 5: Hey, me and my buddy.
- 31:11Speaker 3: Were looking to get out on twilight tonight.
- 31:14Speaker 5: Do you guys have any openings.
- 31:16Speaker 3: No, oh, is that is something going on the Masters?
- 31:28Speaker 3: Any chance we could sneak out, any chance we could
- 31:32Speaker 3: sneak out afterward?
- 31:33Speaker 10: Or no, like could we try to sneak out after
- 31:38Speaker 10: This is what I think the Masters should do. Let
- 31:40Speaker 10: a couple novices play in the middle of the thing,
- 31:44Speaker 10: like halfway through, you let most of the professionals, the
- 31:47Speaker 10: greatest golfers in the world, tee off, and then at
- 31:50Speaker 10: like two thirty, give a tea time to a group
- 31:53Speaker 10: of four guys that are drinking beer and playing the
- 31:56Speaker 10: way the rest of us play.
- 31:57Speaker 8: That would be hilarious to me.
- 31:59Speaker 10: And I would love to have the broadcasters who talk
- 32:02Speaker 10: about the incredible golf being played by the professionals also
- 32:05Speaker 10: having to call the four dudes who are doing mulligans
- 32:09Speaker 10: as they're playing the round of golf at Augusta that
- 32:11Speaker 10: everybody else is playing like. I think that'd just be great.
- 32:14Speaker 10: I would be wildly entertained by it. And also as
- 32:17Speaker 10: all the professionals start yelling to let us play through
- 32:20Speaker 10: the group of morons who are doing things the wrong way,
- 32:24Speaker 10: and I would like those guys to say no. I
- 32:26Speaker 10: would like those guys to look at Rory or anybody
- 32:27Speaker 10: else and be like, hey man, we had our tea time,
- 32:30Speaker 10: we're playing our round.
- 32:31Speaker 8: You leave us alone.
- 32:33Speaker 10: I know they can't do this. I know there's a
- 32:34Speaker 10: bunch of reasons they can't, but that would be hilarious
- 32:37Speaker 10: to me. And I'm not talking about your three or
- 32:40Speaker 10: four friends who have a decent handicap. I want the
- 32:43Speaker 10: guys that know from the moment they show up at
- 32:45Speaker 10: the golf course they're not there to write their scores
- 32:49Speaker 10: down because they're not going to be proud of the
- 32:51Speaker 10: end result of the round. Those guys would be wildly
- 32:54Speaker 10: entertaining to me to be a part of this. But
- 32:56Speaker 10: oh well, I will see what happens. There other things
- 32:59Speaker 10: out there that I thought were interesting. This was a
- 33:02Speaker 10: crazy story. A man in California got arrested for demanding
- 33:07Speaker 10: fifty five dollars in gas. He wanted it for free.
- 33:10Speaker 10: He thought he deserved it because darn it, it's California,
- 33:13Speaker 10: and at some point he just sat there at the
- 33:15Speaker 10: gas station waiting for his free stuff. They called the cops,
- 33:20Speaker 10: he was arrested. He was threatening people and doing crazy things.
- 33:23Speaker 10: So that's not a way you go about getting something
- 33:26Speaker 10: for free. From a gas station. Here is an officer
- 33:29Speaker 10: explaining everything that went into this. But I do love
- 33:33Speaker 10: that this person found out in California. No matter how
- 33:35Speaker 10: much of a socialist society that state seems to be,
- 33:39Speaker 10: you can't just show up at a gas station and
- 33:41Speaker 10: demand free gas. And I don't know why it was
- 33:43Speaker 10: fifty five bucks. I don't know if that just so
- 33:45Speaker 10: happens to be his assumption on what a full tank is,
- 33:48Speaker 10: or if he just picked a random number and he's like, yeah,
- 33:51Speaker 10: I want fifty five dollars worth in California, I'm guessing
- 33:54Speaker 10: that's four and a half gallons of gas.
- 33:56Speaker 8: But here we go. They want you to leave because
- 33:58Speaker 8: you have n't paid for gas.
- 34:00Speaker 7: Surely believe that money as of payment is not a.
- 34:05Speaker 8: Real Okay, I love that a lot.
- 34:10Speaker 10: I knew I liked it, but I forgot how much
- 34:12Speaker 10: I liked it when I hit play on that thing.
- 34:14Speaker 10: The guy's real contention was that money isn't real, And
- 34:18Speaker 10: so you know, part of what he's saying isn't totally wrong.
- 34:21Speaker 10: A money is kind of made up. But you can't
- 34:23Speaker 10: you can't do it this way, man, You can't go
- 34:25Speaker 10: about it in this sense.
- 34:26Speaker 8: But here let's play it.
- 34:28Speaker 7: Because you haven't paid for gas. I surely believe that
- 34:31Speaker 7: money as of payment. It's not real.
- 34:36Speaker 10: It's not real, man, So just give me my fifty
- 34:38Speaker 10: five dollars worth of gas. It's weird that you can
- 34:40Speaker 10: tell them in the amount in the currency that you
- 34:43Speaker 10: don't believe in how much of something you want, but
- 34:46Speaker 10: then also assume you can get it for free. It's
- 34:48Speaker 10: it's a little bit of both there in sort of
- 34:50Speaker 10: a weird way. But I just loved everything about that
- 34:54Speaker 10: guy trying to make that argument in that situation to
- 34:57Speaker 10: a cop because, as I said, didn't go as well
- 35:00Speaker 10: as he hoped. He might have thought that it was
- 35:02Speaker 10: going to work out. I don't know why he would
- 35:04Speaker 10: have thought that, but it did not go that well.
- 35:06Speaker 10: Other things out there. This is a quick four set
- 35:09Speaker 10: of sillier topics before we get back to serious stuff
- 35:12Speaker 10: and then we close this out. Why did CNN kill
- 35:15Speaker 10: off Michael J. Fox was a question that trended online.
- 35:19Speaker 8: I don't know who posted this.
- 35:21Speaker 10: I'm assuming it's some sort of intern or more on
- 35:23Speaker 10: of some kind, but somebody put up on the social
- 35:26Speaker 10: media profile for CNN. I think their x profile an
- 35:31Speaker 10: article with the headline remembering the life of actor Michael J.
- 35:34Speaker 7: Fox.
- 35:35Speaker 8: He's not dead, He's alive. So Michael J.
- 35:38Speaker 10: Fox had to respond to this by saying that he
- 35:40Speaker 10: was doing great and not on his deathbed.
- 35:42Speaker 8: Or anything like that. And it does.
- 35:46Speaker 10: It creates a different thing for me, and I think
- 35:49Speaker 10: people might not know. As just a reminder, a lot
- 35:52Speaker 10: of these organizations, the CNNs of the world, just have
- 35:55Speaker 10: a ton of obits pre written, assuming that if somebody
- 35:59Speaker 10: dies they can just pop that out as quickly as possible,
- 36:02Speaker 10: especially if these individuals are not doing a ton of new,
- 36:06Speaker 10: newsworthy things out there in the world, although if they're
- 36:09Speaker 10: somehow related to Trump, they have rewritten it to be
- 36:12Speaker 10: surprisingly mean toward the person who died and how terrible
- 36:15Speaker 10: of a person they are because they at some point
- 36:17Speaker 10: supported President Trump. But beyond that, it's just so creepy
- 36:21Speaker 10: to think that these things are out there. And I
- 36:23Speaker 10: actually was asking some friends of mine this morning how
- 36:26Speaker 10: they would feel if they were famous enough for someone
- 36:29Speaker 10: to have an oh bit written about them before they're
- 36:31Speaker 10: dead and then get a chance to read it, because
- 36:34Speaker 10: that would.
- 36:34Speaker 8: I feel like be odd.
- 36:36Speaker 10: I feel like that would be a strange thing to
- 36:38Speaker 10: look through and see in whatever form it is. So
- 36:41Speaker 10: even more so, I just thought it was kind of,
- 36:43Speaker 10: you know, the creepiest thing that you could do to
- 36:47Speaker 10: a Michael J. Fox when he wakes up in the morning,
- 36:49Speaker 10: for him to have to defend that he's alive, for
- 36:52Speaker 10: him to have to do a a quality of life
- 36:55Speaker 10: check of some kind. That's really really weird, and CNN
- 36:58Speaker 10: looks pretty stupid for doing it. I don't know why
- 37:01Speaker 10: or who or what intern I did that sort of thing,
- 37:05Speaker 10: or maybe they just wanted publicity. And now I'm talking
- 37:07Speaker 10: about that platform and how terrible they are on this
- 37:10Speaker 10: show in Texas today. All right, and one last one
- 37:13Speaker 10: for sillier topics, and then we'll do something serious before we.
- 37:15Speaker 8: Get out of here.
- 37:17Speaker 10: Forty eight percent of people believe they're smarter than their parents.
- 37:21Speaker 10: This was a survey of a lot of I think
- 37:24Speaker 10: younger people that were asked this question, but forty eight percent,
- 37:27Speaker 10: almost half, I believe that. No, No, I'm definitely I'm
- 37:30Speaker 10: smarter than my parents. And I had two reactions to
- 37:33Speaker 10: this story. The first one is that there's a lot
- 37:36Speaker 10: of arrogant young people out there that need to size
- 37:40Speaker 10: themself up to anyone of a generation beyond them. They
- 37:42Speaker 10: need to have that be a thing that they think about, like, oh, yeah,
- 37:46Speaker 10: I'm definitely smarter than whoever that person was of that
- 37:49Speaker 10: other generation. This sounds a lot like the young people
- 37:53Speaker 10: who use boomer as a derogatory term. And I'm not
- 37:57Speaker 10: saying that that means you are aren't smarter than your parents.
- 38:01Speaker 10: I just think it's a weird thing to do. If
- 38:04Speaker 10: you are smarter, I doubt you'd really want to be
- 38:06Speaker 10: proud of that and brag about it, because hopefully you
- 38:08Speaker 10: love your parents. If you aren't smarter than your parents,
- 38:11Speaker 10: I imagine that's the kind of thing that maybe you
- 38:14Speaker 10: reluctantly admit the other thought I had beyond that one.
- 38:18Speaker 10: And this is something that I've heard a lot of
- 38:21Speaker 10: places to. A lot of parents want their kids to
- 38:24Speaker 10: be more successful than that, in whatever fashion that means,
- 38:27Speaker 10: whether that's intelligence or just simply success in whatever form
- 38:31Speaker 10: that winds up looking like. There are a lot of
- 38:33Speaker 10: parents who wouldn't be offended by the idea of this
- 38:36Speaker 10: and their kids believing it, even if they don't think
- 38:38Speaker 10: it's true. Even if a parent would be like, yeah,
- 38:40Speaker 10: I don't know about that, but anyway, good on them,
- 38:43Speaker 10: good luck to my kid, I hopefully, I hope they
- 38:46Speaker 10: do well. So I thought that was kind of funny.
- 38:49Speaker 10: It might also be a lot of children who think
- 38:53Speaker 10: it's totally fine to say this out loud because their
- 38:56Speaker 10: parents have been so encouraging of them for so long
- 38:58Speaker 10: that maybe they think is an okay thing. But it's
- 39:00Speaker 10: just odd And actually, if I go a little step
- 39:03Speaker 10: further in a macro way when discussing a topic like
- 39:07Speaker 10: this without it being maybe the specificity of are you
- 39:10Speaker 10: smarter than your parents? The need to size yourself up
- 39:14Speaker 10: compared to other people in our society is weird. That
- 39:18Speaker 10: doesn't mean that I don't think I'm smarter than a
- 39:20Speaker 10: lot of people. And there's a lot of morons out
- 39:22Speaker 10: there who say stupid things, and I hear they're stupid things,
- 39:25Speaker 10: and I think to myself, wow, you're uniquely dumb. Like
- 39:28Speaker 10: I absolutely do that. I'm not coomby eyeing this segment
- 39:31Speaker 10: and telling you not to do it and treat everybody
- 39:34Speaker 10: like they're a genius. But at the same time, and
- 39:37Speaker 10: I think the same is true for the richest person
- 39:39Speaker 10: in the room, the most successful, the most intelligent, they're
- 39:43Speaker 10: the ones least likely to brag about that. They're the
- 39:46Speaker 10: person that's probably least likely to focus on that, because
- 39:50Speaker 10: if it's true, you don't need to shout it from
- 39:52Speaker 10: the rooftops.
- 39:54Speaker 8: It can just be a thing that's accurate.
- 39:55Speaker 10: You don't need to tell people all the time how
- 39:58Speaker 10: smart you are and how valuable the information, the advice,
- 40:01Speaker 10: whatever it is you're giving is. You don't need to
- 40:03Speaker 10: preface it unless you yourself don't really think that it's
- 40:07Speaker 10: something that is all that valuable, unless the person you're
- 40:09Speaker 10: most trying to convince that you're not a more on
- 40:12Speaker 10: is you, which I think by and large winds up
- 40:14Speaker 10: being the case for people who yell that stuff. But
- 40:17Speaker 10: I've known a lot of people that flaunt money in
- 40:20Speaker 10: one capacity or another, and you wind up finding out
- 40:22Speaker 10: how ridiculously in debt these people are, how these are
- 40:25Speaker 10: not the people that have a whole bunch of cash
- 40:27Speaker 10: and have a whole bunch of means to do things.
- 40:30Speaker 10: And then you find out that the truly wealthy people
- 40:32Speaker 10: are driving the crappy car and getting the basic things
- 40:35Speaker 10: they need because it's not really about that for them.
- 40:38Speaker 10: It's no longer a showing off, a kind of thing,
- 40:40Speaker 10: which to me obviously makes a whole lot of sense.
- 40:44Speaker 10: All Right, one last thing I want to play before
- 40:46Speaker 10: we get out of here that I kind of think
- 40:48Speaker 10: is important as far as a newsworthy things go. There
- 40:53Speaker 10: there was a crazier thing said by Mamdannie. I know
- 40:57Speaker 10: this is not New York. I know we're in Houston.
- 40:59Speaker 10: But when I think about the person driving the Democratic
- 41:03Speaker 10: Party off of the cliff that they've already driven themselves
- 41:07Speaker 10: off of, like they're driving even more off the crazy cliff,
- 41:10Speaker 10: it's people like Mamdani who are saying and doing these
- 41:13Speaker 10: things that seem like they're at the forefront of what's
- 41:16Speaker 10: going to.
- 41:17Speaker 8: Be the destruction of their party. So this is about
- 41:20Speaker 8: a minute of audio.
- 41:20Speaker 10: It's a press conference he gave where he talks about
- 41:23Speaker 10: the median wealth of a white household and compares it
- 41:27Speaker 10: to a black household or compares it to any other
- 41:30Speaker 10: minority household. I guess all of this is trying to
- 41:34Speaker 10: essentially create programs in New York that are exceedingly racist,
- 41:38Speaker 10: that are going to say, if you're white, we assume
- 41:41Speaker 10: you're wealthy regardless of if you are, and we're going
- 41:43Speaker 10: to do everything we can to harm you. And if
- 41:45Speaker 10: you're not white, We're going to assume you're poor no
- 41:48Speaker 10: matter what you actually are, and we're going to do
- 41:50Speaker 10: everything we can to help you in a way that
- 41:53Speaker 10: would be inherently unfair to other people.
- 41:55Speaker 8: Based on race.
- 41:56Speaker 10: Like, all of the ideas he's been spouting over the
- 41:59Speaker 10: last few days seem like they will easily be struck
- 42:01Speaker 10: down in courtrooms because they can't possibly be found to
- 42:05Speaker 10: be anything other than horribly racist. But here we go,
- 42:07Speaker 10: here's mom Donnie saying white people can't have money anymore
- 42:11Speaker 10: in New York City, by and large, basically, that's what
- 42:14Speaker 10: he's saying.
- 42:14Speaker 5: So I want to be very clear. Our administration inherited
- 42:18Speaker 5: a report that the prior administration had refused to release,
- 42:22Speaker 5: a report that had been heavily diluted over many rounds
- 42:25Speaker 5: of revisions. We took the time to strengthen this report,
- 42:29Speaker 5: to ensure that it was actually an accurate reflection of
- 42:33Speaker 5: the city that we all love and Noah's our home,
- 42:35Speaker 5: and to actually release this report within the first hundred days. Now,
- 42:39Speaker 5: in this report, what we've seen, it's a report that
- 42:42Speaker 5: is both coupled with a true cost of living report,
- 42:44Speaker 5: is that the inequities in this city, the racial inequities
- 42:48Speaker 5: are stark. We are talking about findings that have shown
- 42:52Speaker 5: that the wealth of a median white household in the
- 42:54Speaker 5: city is more than two hundred thousand dollars, while that
- 42:57Speaker 5: of a black household is less than twenty thousand dollars.
- 43:00Speaker 5: This is not an indictment of any one New York.
- 43:02Speaker 5: It is an indictment.
- 43:03Speaker 8: It sounds a lot like an indictment of some New York.
- 43:05Speaker 5: However, of policies and politics that have persisted for far
- 43:08Speaker 5: too long. Our commitment now is to act upon these findings,
- 43:12Speaker 5: to do so in concert with New Yorkers comments, as
- 43:15Speaker 5: we've now opened a public comment period for the next
- 43:17Speaker 5: thirty days to ensure that we have a city where
- 43:20Speaker 5: we are reckoning with the long history of racism here
- 43:24Speaker 5: and starting to act upon a framework that puts equity
- 43:27Speaker 5: right at the center of it.
- 43:28Speaker 10: You know what the next press conference is after this one.
- 43:30Speaker 10: So we've set up a system. We're going to allow
- 43:33Speaker 10: minority people to rob one white person every single day.
- 43:36Speaker 8: You get one whitey that you get to rob.
- 43:38Speaker 10: I'm a white man, by the way, and you get
- 43:40Speaker 10: to take anything that they own. It's now your stuff.
- 43:44Speaker 10: That's totally fine, We're totally okay. And then all of
- 43:46Speaker 10: a sudden, as Kathy Hokeel in New York, the state
- 43:49Speaker 10: the governor there has learned, You'll have a whole.
- 43:51Speaker 8: Bunch of people leave.
- 43:53Speaker 10: Everybody who has money, who feels like they're now vilified
- 43:56Speaker 10: for their success, They're going to get up and leave
- 43:58Speaker 10: because you're going to try to take more of their
- 44:00Speaker 10: things away from them and give them to people that
- 44:02Speaker 10: didn't earn them. And you're going to say that's just
- 44:04Speaker 10: based on race. And for some reason, this is fighting
- 44:07Speaker 10: in inequity that has lasted a long time, like this
- 44:10Speaker 10: is the dangerous, dangerous socialism, Marxism, things that become the
- 44:17Speaker 10: downfall of our society, of our country when people say
- 44:22Speaker 10: and oftentimes it sort of annoys me because I feel
- 44:24Speaker 10: like it's just a catchphrase now, like we won't have
- 44:26Speaker 10: a country anymore because you hear someone say something whatever
- 44:30Speaker 10: the crazy thing is, and then the next thing is like,
- 44:32Speaker 10: we won't have our country anymore if this happens. This
- 44:35Speaker 10: is a time where that's true, where Mamdanni is saying
- 44:38Speaker 10: to the degree that he wants to harm people who
- 44:41Speaker 10: are not I've already been robbed, my mom just.
- 44:43Speaker 8: Texted me, Ah, that's hilarious that I did get robbed.
- 44:47Speaker 10: My car got broken into, and one thing was stolen
- 44:49Speaker 10: from my vehicle, which was a thing that my wife
- 44:52Speaker 10: thought was a really dumb thing to spend money on.
- 44:54Speaker 10: A frost body, a New York Yankee frost buddy, and
- 44:58Speaker 10: I am expecting one tomorrow to arrive at my house.
- 45:01Speaker 10: My mother bought it for me because she said, you
- 45:03Speaker 10: didn't like thieves, which is very sweet. I know I
- 45:06Speaker 10: sound a lot like a millennial right now saying this
- 45:08Speaker 10: on the air, but I wasn't going to buy anyone.
- 45:10Speaker 10: I was like, screw it, it's fine. The missus thought
- 45:12Speaker 10: it was a waste of money. But yeah, I know,
- 45:14Speaker 10: I did get robbed. So I don't know if that'll
- 45:16Speaker 10: ever come to Houston, but it exists in New York. Basically,
- 45:20Speaker 10: it seems that Mundami Mumdani is saying that he's going
- 45:23Speaker 10: to set up a system to steal from the rich
- 45:25Speaker 10: and give to the poor, but specifically to steal from
- 45:28Speaker 10: anyone that is white and then assumed rich and everybody
- 45:32Speaker 10: who's not white and assumed poor, which actually is racist
- 45:36Speaker 10: against everybody. The other thing that's sort of funny about
- 45:39Speaker 10: this is the assumption that if you're black, you need
- 45:41Speaker 10: help from the country, or from the city, or from anyone.
- 45:45Speaker 10: That's kind of inherently racist in a crappy way toward
- 45:49Speaker 10: black people too.
- 45:50Speaker 8: But this, to me is.
- 45:52Speaker 10: That moment where we actually destroy much of the foundational
- 45:55Speaker 10: things that are what make our country great. Capitalism isn't
- 45:59Speaker 10: import an aspect of the United States of America that
- 46:02Speaker 10: in a lot of ways has benefited us obviously, no
- 46:05Speaker 10: matter how much young people vilify it and say that
- 46:08Speaker 10: there's something out there that would be better, that would
- 46:11Speaker 10: be inherently unfair in other ways. Actually, I like Jimmy
- 46:14Speaker 10: Carr's reaction to that. He is a stand up comedian
- 46:17Speaker 10: who I think is anything other than conservative. I think
- 46:21Speaker 10: he is actually pretty liberal in a lot of the
- 46:23Speaker 10: things he says. But I know there's a viral video
- 46:26Speaker 10: of him being asked a question by a young liberal
- 46:28Speaker 10: person at a comedy show where they're crapping on our system,
- 46:34Speaker 10: our system of life, and how they think communism is
- 46:38Speaker 10: so much better than capitalism, and Jimmy Carr's reaction is,
- 46:42Speaker 10: you know, I don't love capitalism. There's ways in which
- 46:45Speaker 10: it can get corrupted or it's bad or whatever, which
- 46:48Speaker 10: is his point, but he goes, it's so much better
- 46:51Speaker 10: than every other system out there, like, so far superior
- 46:56Speaker 10: to any other way of handling our society. It is
- 46:59Speaker 10: obviously the choice of not just the United States, but
- 47:01Speaker 10: should be the choice of every country in the world,
- 47:04Speaker 10: because anything else where you empower a lot of people
- 47:07Speaker 10: tell them they can have control over things they shouldn't
- 47:10Speaker 10: have control over. You make a lot of really bad
- 47:13Speaker 10: things happen in your society when you do that. So
- 47:16Speaker 10: it's just very obvious to me and very obvious to
- 47:18Speaker 10: many people how crazy that take is.
- 47:20Speaker 8: But it's out there.
- 47:21Speaker 10: It's a real thing, and I think more and more
- 47:24Speaker 10: New York is going to be the place we're all
- 47:27Speaker 10: paying attention to the city and the state to see
- 47:29Speaker 10: how far they go, how much they destroy their society,
- 47:33Speaker 10: and I assume use it as a beacon to what
- 47:37Speaker 10: we shouldn't be doing in the rest of the country
- 47:39Speaker 10: and well the world.
- 47:40Speaker 8: That's it.
- 47:41Speaker 10: That's the whole show. I'm out here today. I love
- 47:43Speaker 10: being with you. The Amigos are on tomorrow. I'm on
- 47:46Speaker 10: after them. I talk to you tomorrow. Craig Collins Show
