Gunsmoke - "Brush at Elkader Reused Script" (Old Time Radio, 1958)
Gunsmoke presents “Brush at Elkader,” episode 345 of the classic CBS Radio series, originally broadcast November 16, 1958. Written by John Meston and produced by Norman Macdonnell, this recording is a repeat of the story first broadcast in 1955, starring William Conrad as Marshal Matt Dillon.
After Ben Williams is murdered, Dillon follows the trail from Dodge City to Elkader in search of Lou Shippen. In a town where bringing a suspect to justice proves especially difficult, Dillon faces a tense frontier manhunt with Chester, Kitty, and Doc close to home.
