Transcript
- 0:00Dayna Roselli: Coming up on episode 291 of Vegas Revealed, we are one-on-one with WWE Wrestling Star and TV personality, The Miz.
- 0:10SPEAKER_01: We came here right after Super Bowl, and WrestleMania 41 broke records.
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: Like we had after parties.
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: We had before parties.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: We had watch parties because Allegiant was sold out both nights.
- 0:21Sean McAllister: WrestleMania 42 is being held right here in Las Vegas.
- 0:25Sean McAllister: They just couldn't get enough of us last year.
- 0:28Sean McAllister: We talk WrestleMania, life in Vegas with the Miz since he just moved here, and his latest TV hosting job.
- 0:36Dayna Roselli: Plus, the Bellagio welcomes its first ever yacht to the iconic fountains, we explain.
- 0:41Sean McAllister: And a new comedy show that mixes in some Vino.
- 0:45Dayna Roselli: Ooh, your favorite.
- 0:47Dayna Roselli: All this coming up on Vegas Revealed.
- 0:49Sean McAllister: Let's pop the cork.
- 0:52Sean McAllister: Vegas Revealed, presented by Galindo Law, starts now.
- 0:56Dayna Roselli: Welcome to episode 291 of Vegas Revealed.
- 1:01Dayna Roselli: We have to talk about this yacht at the Bellagio Fountain, Sean.
- 1:05Dayna Roselli: I know a lot of people are excited about this one.
- 1:07Sean McAllister: They are.
- 1:08Sean McAllister: Sean McAllister and Dana Roselli here with you.
- 1:11Sean McAllister: By the way, if you didn't know, you don't really hear any other hosts on Vegas Revealed.
- 1:16Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 1:16Sean McAllister: So it goes kind of without saying, but hi, it's good to be with you.
- 1:19Sean McAllister: Thanks for joining us.
- 1:21Sean McAllister: Um, yeah, this yacht is really cool.
- 1:24Sean McAllister: This is the first time that Bellagio is going to be offering a luxury experience uh to zoom around the fountains as they're going off.
- 1:36Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 1:36Dayna Roselli: And this is cool because we heard about it and I thought, oh, okay, it's gonna be like two years from now.
- 1:42Dayna Roselli: But no, it's coming sooner than we thought.
- 1:44Dayna Roselli: We don't have an exact opening date by the time that we're recording this.
- 1:47Dayna Roselli: Um, it could have come out after our record, but um, we know it's this fall, so it's coming soon.
- 1:53Dayna Roselli: And I had originally thought, oh, we're gonna have to wait till like 2028, they're just teasing it.
- 1:58Dayna Roselli: But I'm excited that we've actually been able to see the yacht.
- 2:01Dayna Roselli: The yacht is now moved to the Bellagio fountains.
- 2:04Dayna Roselli: They did a whole thing where they brought it down the strip and put it in the water.
- 2:08Sean McAllister: Well, I was gonna say, you might think, how do you get a yacht into the lake out in front of Bellagio?
- 2:15Sean McAllister: Well, first of all, you build it in Italy.
- 2:18Sean McAllister: It's a completely custom-built uh yacht boat that you would kind of see expect to see like on Lake Como.
- 2:27Sean McAllister: Like the wooden uh boat, really classic styling.
- 2:31Sean McAllister: Uh they built it in Italy, brought it here, uh I'm guessing they flew it here.
- 2:37Sean McAllister: I mean, they probably wouldn't drive it across the ocean.
- 2:40Sean McAllister: I don't know.
- 2:40Sean McAllister: Um because I don't think it's big enough to go across the ocean.
- 2:43Sean McAllister: So let's just say that they flew it here.
- 2:45Sean McAllister: And well, that may or may not be true, but then they load it onto a truck and hoist it with a crane into the lake.
- 2:53Dayna Roselli: Incredible.
- 2:54Sean McAllister: Where it will now live.
- 2:56Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and apparently it's one of only 18 in the world, so this is a big deal.
- 3:00Dayna Roselli: And side note, the whole reason we're getting this yacht is we have a Carbone Riviera opening at the Bellaggio.
- 3:06Dayna Roselli: We love Carbon at Aria, the Italian restaurant.
- 3:09Dayna Roselli: It's amazing.
- 3:10Dayna Roselli: And a hard reservation to get, you always point out.
- 3:13Sean McAllister: It's a crazy hard reservation to get.
- 3:15Sean McAllister: But this is gonna be kind of a sister restaurant.
- 3:18Sean McAllister: The original one is staying there, right?
- 3:20Sean McAllister: And this is a new kind of seafood-focused carbone restaurant.
- 3:25Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 3:25Dayna Roselli: It says it's devoted to the art of seafood at the highest level.
- 3:28Sean McAllister: I love the art of seafood at the highest level.
- 3:31Sean McAllister: I'm gonna need to check it out.
- 3:33Dayna Roselli: Who doesn't, right?
- 3:34Dayna Roselli: So this yacht, I guess select guests will be able to cruise the lake of the world-famous fountains as they dance around them, like you said.
- 3:42Dayna Roselli: So this is gonna be unbelievable.
- 3:45Dayna Roselli: We've seen some renderings and now we've seen some pictures of it being delivered.
- 3:49Dayna Roselli: But you know, with the restaurant operating and the yacht going around, we haven't seen how all that's gonna work.
- 3:53Sean McAllister: What we also have not seen is a price tag for what it's gonna cost you to uh have this yacht experience.
- 4:01Sean McAllister: And I think you might even be able to like do you get to have dinner on the boat as you're going around?
- 4:07Dayna Roselli: I don't know.
- 4:08Dayna Roselli: So here's the deal this whole thing is happening while we're away for a few days, so we aren't gonna be at the actual drop of the yacht.
- 4:16Dayna Roselli: No, so it's already ceremony and when this runs, that has already happened.
- 4:19Dayna Roselli: So people have might might have seen vo you know videos and stuff on social media.
- 4:24Dayna Roselli: We're kind of speculating before it happens, but um, maybe we'll have more answers at the present time of when you're listening to this, and we'll talk about that in the next podcast.
- 4:35Dayna Roselli: But you like you said, when they write, it's one of the world's most sought-after luxury experiences.
- 4:40Dayna Roselli: You know the price tag's gonna be up there.
- 4:42Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 4:43Sean McAllister: Sought after luxury experiences don't come cheap in Vegas.
- 4:47Dayna Roselli: No.
- 4:47Dayna Roselli: So I wonder, I don't know if you'll be able to eat on it or just have a drink or what.
- 4:51Dayna Roselli: I mean, it's not a huge you know, lake.
- 4:55Sean McAllister: You know what we should do?
- 4:56Sean McAllister: We should record an episode of Vegas Revealed on the yacht while cruising the what is it?
- 5:05Sean McAllister: Lago Di Como in front of the Bellagio.
- 5:08Dayna Roselli: I know we should do a TV show from there.
- 5:10Dayna Roselli: We gotta try to talk to the folks over at MGM and the Bellagio.
- 5:13Sean McAllister: The wheels are turning.
- 5:14Dayna Roselli: We can make that happen.
- 5:15Sean McAllister: And the motors run, the propellers going.
- 5:17Dayna Roselli: But just when you didn't think that there could be more ideas coming to Vegas.
- 5:21Dayna Roselli: Like we can't top what we have already.
- 5:23Dayna Roselli: It's like, okay, now we're getting a yacht in the fountains, and Carbon's opening a seafood restaurant that's gonna sit lakeside.
- 5:29Dayna Roselli: It's incredible.
- 5:30Sean McAllister: It really is.
- 5:31Dayna Roselli: I mean, we're we're looking forward to this.
- 5:33Dayna Roselli: It just adds to the spectacle of Vegas and we're here for it.
- 5:36Dayna Roselli: So um anyway, yeah, we don't have an exact opening date yet, but I think it'll probably be there.
- 5:42Dayna Roselli: I have a feeling it'll be there by F1 time, don't you think?
- 5:45Sean McAllister: Oh, without a doubt.
- 5:46Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 5:47Dayna Roselli: So and they're the ones who can afford it, the folks that are coming in for that.
- 5:50Sean McAllister: Sure can.
- 5:52Dayna Roselli: Hey, uh, something that is coming on October 17th.
- 5:57Dayna Roselli: And Sean, I thought of you.
- 6:00Dayna Roselli: Because it's called In Poor Taste, P-O-U-R.
- 6:04Dayna Roselli: It's a comedy wine tasting experience.
- 6:07Dayna Roselli: This is taking place over at Aria at the shops at Crystals in that uh space, what's it called?
- 6:14Dayna Roselli: A lighthouse art space that they have there, which is a really nice space.
- 6:19Dayna Roselli: But um, here's what it says forget the bottle service.
- 6:22Dayna Roselli: This fall, Vegas is serving up something more intoxicating in poor taste, a comedy wine tasting experience is set to swirl onto the strip.
- 6:32Dayna Roselli: And so this sounds really fun.
- 6:34Dayna Roselli: Um, and I am looking forward to this one, and I have to go with you because I know you love your wine.
- 6:40Sean McAllister: I love my wine.
- 6:42Sean McAllister: And wine makes me more inclined to laugh at jokes.
- 6:45Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 6:46Sean McAllister: So this is like a perfect combination.
- 6:48Dayna Roselli: I mean, maybe, yeah.
- 6:49Dayna Roselli: It's got great reviews.
- 6:50Dayna Roselli: Maybe that's why.
- 6:51Sean McAllister: I love it.
- 6:51Sean McAllister: I mean, listen, anytime you want to make something better, just add a little wine to it.
- 6:56Dayna Roselli: Well, so it says part wine tasting, part stand-up comedy in poor taste pairs a curated flight of fine wines with a fast-paced evening of hilarious storytelling, improvisation, and witty banter from a team of top-tier comedians.
- 7:11Dayna Roselli: So it sounds like a again, I who would have thought of this?
- 7:14Dayna Roselli: This is great.
- 7:15Sean McAllister: That that is.
- 7:16Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 7:16Sean McAllister: That is, it's like the w best wine tasting ever.
- 7:19Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 7:19Dayna Roselli: So it begins October 17th.
- 7:21Dayna Roselli: I'm sure we will go and check it out and let everyone know how it is.
- 7:25Sean McAllister: Uh, something else that we're planning to check out is coming up in 2026 in April, uh, WrestleMania 42.
- 7:33Sean McAllister: Oh WrestleMania coming back to Las Vegas.
- 7:35Sean McAllister: They were here last year for WrestleMania 41, and it wasn't really planned.
- 7:40Dayna Roselli: No.
- 7:41Sean McAllister: They had plans in another city.
- 7:43Sean McAllister: Um, but after seeing the success of WrestleMania 41 here in Las Vegas at Allegiance Stadium, the WWE and Las Vegas said, you know what?
- 7:54Sean McAllister: This is a pretty darn good partnership.
- 7:56Sean McAllister: I think we need to do it again.
- 7:57Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 7:58Dayna Roselli: Like, hold the phone.
- 7:59Dayna Roselli: What are we thinking?
- 8:00Dayna Roselli: Let's just do it again in Vegas, right?
- 8:01Dayna Roselli: It was a record-breaking WrestleMania.
- 8:04Sean McAllister: It was.
- 8:05Dayna Roselli: So they are returning.
- 8:06Dayna Roselli: And last year we got to chat a lot with Cody Rhodes, the American Nightmare.
- 8:11Dayna Roselli: And he was the WWE champ heading into WrestleMania.
- 8:15Dayna Roselli: And uh this year we had a chance to talk to The Miz.
- 8:19Dayna Roselli: And I was excited when I put it out there that we were gonna chat with the Miz.
- 8:22Dayna Roselli: There was a lot of response.
- 8:23Dayna Roselli: People, I love the Miz.
- 8:25Dayna Roselli: He's so humble, he's a great guy, this and that.
- 8:27Dayna Roselli: So we were really looking forward to meeting him in person.
- 8:30Sean McAllister: Yeah, and so that's what we did.
- 8:31Sean McAllister: We went over to Allegiant Stadium.
- 8:33Sean McAllister: We were down on the field on the turf with all the uh WWE WrestleMania logos and signs.
- 8:40Sean McAllister: They were lit up all over the uh screens inside of Allegiant Stadium, and we talked to the Miz all about WrestleMania returning, uh, his experience coming up through WWE, and now that he's a Las Vegas resident, what's it like living here?
- 8:58SPEAKER_01: I think we saw it with Super Bowl, where it has something for everyone.
- 9:03SPEAKER_01: And then we came here right after Super Bowl, and WrestleMania 41 broke records.
- 9:08SPEAKER_01: Like we had after parties, uh, we had before parties, we had watch parties because Allegiant was sold out both nights.
- 9:15SPEAKER_01: The hotels are second to none, the restaurants are second to none.
- 9:18SPEAKER_01: There's something for kids, there's something for families, there's something for adults, there's something for everybody.
- 9:23SPEAKER_01: And then when you pour them all in into a Legion Stadium for WrestleMania, it just makes it that big of a spectacle.
- 9:30Sean McAllister: What I loved is that the fans are so great.
- 9:33Sean McAllister: There is definitely spirited conversation between people about, you know, what they wanted to happen, what did happen, but it's not like football games where people are coming to blows.
- 9:44SPEAKER_01: No, this is uh it's sports entertainment, right?
- 9:48SPEAKER_01: It's storytelling.
- 9:49SPEAKER_01: It's we encourage our fans to come to the stadium and boo who they hate, cheer who they love.
- 9:56SPEAKER_01: And we're all part of this WWE family.
- 10:00SPEAKER_01: They just are there for moments that will last a lifetime, and that's what we create.
- 10:04Sean McAllister: Are there any clues so far about what we might see take place right here on the floor at Allegiance Stadium?
- 10:14SPEAKER_01: We say this all the time, and it sounds like a tagline, but it's truth.
- 10:18SPEAKER_01: Like it's the truth.
- 10:20SPEAKER_01: Expect the unexpected.
- 10:22SPEAKER_01: You never know what's gonna happen.
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: Even when you know the matches, you know something special is gonna happen.
- 10:28SPEAKER_01: So Cena could come back?
- 10:30SPEAKER_01: I don't know if Cena's wrestling ever again after these next, I think, five dates.
- 10:35SPEAKER_01: I think he's done.
- 10:36SPEAKER_01: So will he come back in another capacity?
- 10:39SPEAKER_01: Could be, but he won't be wrestling.
- 10:41Sean McAllister: Las Vegas is now home for you.
- 10:43Sean McAllister: You just moved here recently.
- 10:45Sean McAllister: What are your first impressions of uh of the city that is now home?
- 10:50SPEAKER_01: One, I think everyone thinks gambling, right?
- 10:52SPEAKER_01: That's all you think about is just gambling.
- 10:54SPEAKER_01: And it's it's so much more than that.
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: I didn't realize what a great close-knit community this place has, and it has something for everyone.
- 11:02SPEAKER_01: My wife now will offer to take me to the airport when I lived in LA.
- 11:05SPEAKER_01: It took two and a half hours.
- 11:07SPEAKER_01: Two and a half hours, she was like, I am not tracking myself all the way down just to drive you and drop you off.
- 11:13SPEAKER_01: Now she's like, hey, you need a ride?
- 11:15SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, yeah, yeah, I'll take a ride.
- 11:17SPEAKER_01: Whole new world.
- 11:18SPEAKER_01: So it's weird.
- 11:20SPEAKER_01: And the food, huh?
- 11:22SPEAKER_01: My gosh, the food is amazing.
- 11:24SPEAKER_01: Uh, you can find a five-star every every mile, if you will.
- 11:29SPEAKER_01: And so we have been to a lot of places, uh, you know, with my kids.
- 11:34SPEAKER_01: Uh, there's a ton of just fun, cool things like ninja warrior type stuff.
- 11:39SPEAKER_01: I just saw literally American Ninja Warriors setting up, like probably like five miles from here.
- 11:44SPEAKER_01: And I was like driving by and went, that's American Ninja.
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: Oh wow, they're setting up right here.
- 11:48SPEAKER_01: So, I mean, you have Hollywood 2.0, I feel like, in Las Vegas.
- 11:53SPEAKER_01: Well, and I mean, it kind of sounds like you could be an ambassador for Las Vegas at this point.
- 11:56SPEAKER_01: I probably could at this point.
- 11:58SPEAKER_01: Right now, I'm I'm in there.
- 12:00Sean McAllister: And uh, you're also taking on hosting duties for American Gladiators, the reboot of the series.
- 12:06Sean McAllister: I mean, that's such an iconic, nostalgic show.
- 12:10Sean McAllister: How excited are you to be doing that?
- 12:12SPEAKER_01: Man, it was you know, when I was a kid growing up, there were they were my heroes, right?
- 12:18SPEAKER_01: WWE superstars, American Gladiators, you know what I mean?
- 12:22SPEAKER_01: Nitro, Turbo, Siren.
- 12:25SPEAKER_01: I mean, they these guys were larger than life.
- 12:27SPEAKER_01: These guys and girls were larger than life.
- 12:30SPEAKER_01: And growing up, you know, you always look at it and go, wow.
- 12:33SPEAKER_01: And now to be a part of it in the host.
- 12:36SPEAKER_01: And when we filmed it, I'm telling you, when when I tell you the nostalgia is there, but also the new is there, and also there's stories like the contenders, you really get involved with who they are and where they've come from and what this money means to them.
- 12:52SPEAKER_01: And then you also look at the gladiators.
- 12:54SPEAKER_01: Each of them have an e individual character that you are unique and they hit hard.
- 13:01SPEAKER_01: Harder than I've ever seen contenders hit in American Gladiators.
- 13:05SPEAKER_01: Now, it might be because I was live and there, but the way that we shot it, you're gonna feel like you're in the arena with us.
- 13:12Sean McAllister: And and are those classic uh battles, competitions going to be part of this new series too?
- 13:18SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, and and more, by the way.
- 13:21SPEAKER_01: Uh, you know, prime video really set out to make sure that we had the old like ones that you you love, but also some new that you go, whoa, this one's a little bit more intense.
- 13:34SPEAKER_01: I'm looking forward to it.
- 13:35Sean McAllister: That was a part of my routine.
- 13:37Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 13:38Sean McAllister: I was in the living room watching watching gladiators.
- 13:41Sean McAllister: Um, for anybody who maybe has FOMO because they didn't come to WrestleMania 41 last year.
- 13:48Sean McAllister: We have 42 coming up.
- 13:49Sean McAllister: There's time to plan a trip.
- 13:51Sean McAllister: What do you what is your plea to people who are on the fence about getting that combo ticket?
- 13:59SPEAKER_01: I I don't think that I need to plea with them.
- 14:01SPEAKER_01: Watch the proof is in the pudding, right?
- 14:03SPEAKER_01: You go and watch Monday Night Raw on Netflix, go watch Friday Night Smackdown on USA, watch one of our PLEs on ESPN, and you will see that the Attitude Era is supposedly the most famous, the best era ever in WWE history.
- 14:22SPEAKER_01: I beg to differ.
- 14:24SPEAKER_01: Right now is the time when people were talking about the Attitude Era and how great it was, they will be talking about this in 10 years, going, no, this is the era.
- 14:33SPEAKER_01: This is where I wanted to be and where I want to be.
- 14:36SPEAKER_01: Now, I wouldn't just recommend getting the combo tickets just for April 18th and 19th here at Allegiant Stadium just for WrestleMania.
- 14:43SPEAKER_01: We also have Raw, you got SmackDown, you got WWE World.
- 14:47SPEAKER_01: We are taking over this entire city, and this city has something for everyone.
- 14:52SPEAKER_01: And so you could sit there and say, Well, what's the price?
- 14:55SPEAKER_01: What's the price?
- 14:55SPEAKER_01: I'll tell you what the price is.
- 14:56SPEAKER_01: The price is memory.
- 14:57SPEAKER_01: A memory that you're gonna have with your child, a memory that you're gonna talk about for the next 20 years.
- 15:03SPEAKER_01: Are you gonna be at home talking about that, or are you gonna be right here in Allegiant Stadium talking about it?
- 15:09Sean McAllister: The Miz was great.
- 15:10Sean McAllister: It's no wonder why he's a WWE star and uh just a TV personality aside from that.
- 15:16Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 15:16Dayna Roselli: I was like, you're good TV.
- 15:17Dayna Roselli: And he was like, ah, thanks.
- 15:19Dayna Roselli: You know, like he definitely knows what he's doing.
- 15:20Sean McAllister: Well, he said he was like, when the red light turns on, I know what to do.
- 15:24Dayna Roselli: I know, but when we talked to him before the interview, he he had a great personality then, too.
- 15:29Dayna Roselli: Oh, for sure.
- 15:29Dayna Roselli: That was the good thing.
- 15:30Dayna Roselli: I always love when someone is the same on camera and off the camera, and we can definitely vouch for the Miz.
- 15:35Dayna Roselli: He's a nice guy, he's pumped about WrestleMania.
- 15:39Dayna Roselli: Um, he's enjoying Las Vegas, but was like telling us he's trying all these new things.
- 15:44Dayna Roselli: He loves that his wife will actually offer to drive him to the airport now because he said in LA, she was like, no, find your way there.
- 15:50Sean McAllister: Yeah, no way I'm doing that.
- 15:52Dayna Roselli: I'm not driving through that traffic.
- 15:53Dayna Roselli: So there are a lot of perks to living in Las Vegas.
- 15:56Dayna Roselli: But like we said, WrestleMania 41 was a record break breaker.
- 15:59Dayna Roselli: It was the highest grossing event in WWE history and drew 124,693 fans over two nights at Allegiant.
- 16:08Dayna Roselli: So let's see if we can top that this year.
- 16:11Dayna Roselli: I have a feeling we will.
- 16:12Sean McAllister: I think we will.
- 16:13Sean McAllister: There are combo uh ticket packages available for uh for WrestleMania on Saturday, April 18th, and Sunday, April 19th at Allegiant Stadium.
- 16:24Sean McAllister: Um, those are on sale now.
- 16:26Sean McAllister: Uh there are also priority pass packages still available too, so you can uh search for those and you'll find them online.
- 16:35Sean McAllister: And it really does turn into such a wrestling town when WrestleMania comes, because uh obviously we have all of the wrestling events on you know Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday.
- 16:48Sean McAllister: Uh, but then we have the big fan uh events too.
- 16:51Sean McAllister: And just about every property on the strip gets in on all the action with different activations.
- 16:57Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 16:57Dayna Roselli: And remember last year it was Easter weekend, wasn't it?
- 17:00Sean McAllister: It was.
- 17:01Dayna Roselli: And we thought, okay, that's either gonna do really well or not.
- 17:03Dayna Roselli: And it did so well.
- 17:04Dayna Roselli: So I'm curious to see, like we just said, if it'll do even better, not being Easter weekend.
- 17:10Dayna Roselli: Like people aren't busy with family and doing obviously their traditions and cooking the ham.
- 17:14Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 17:14Sean McAllister: Easter egg ham.
- 17:15Dayna Roselli: Heading to church, all that stuff.
- 17:17Dayna Roselli: Um, so so we'll see.
- 17:19Dayna Roselli: But uh Easter's April 5th this year, so it bounces around.
- 17:23Dayna Roselli: And like you just said, this is the weekend of the 17th, 18th, 19th, which is your birthday weekend.
- 17:28Sean McAllister: It is, which it was my birthday weekend last year, too.
- 17:30Sean McAllister: So I wonder if this is gonna be a new tradition.
- 17:33Dayna Roselli: Well, um, you are not gonna be 42.
- 17:36Sean McAllister: I will not be.
- 17:37Sean McAllister: That is that is a fact.
- 17:38Dayna Roselli: But it but one one day coming up ahead, the number will catch up and they will meet up of what your age will be and the because you know, WrestleMania will just keep returning over and over and over.
- 17:49Sean McAllister: Well, but I'll keep getting older too.
- 17:51Dayna Roselli: Oh, yeah.
- 17:52Sean McAllister: So I guess there's always gonna be a game.
- 17:53Dayna Roselli: Oh, yeah, I guess you're right.
- 17:54Dayna Roselli: See?
- 17:55Sean McAllister: They need to do multiple WrestleManias a year in order to catch up with me.
- 17:59Dayna Roselli: Or you could just stay one age that at heart.
- 18:02Sean McAllister: I'm okay with that.
- 18:04Dayna Roselli: I love it.
- 18:04Dayna Roselli: Well, we look forward to that.
- 18:05Dayna Roselli: And uh a little bit later down the road, we'll share an interview that I did with the Miz about some popular wrestling terms that we learned.
- 18:12Dayna Roselli: He briefed me, he got me all caught up because I'm still learning.
- 18:15Dayna Roselli: We went last year to WrestleMania, but there's a lot to learn.
- 18:18Dayna Roselli: There is, you know, there's all these like things that you need to know.
- 18:24Sean McAllister: But what is the one thing that we did learn?
- 18:26Dayna Roselli: We learned that over is when there's noise in the room.
- 18:32Dayna Roselli: Like when someone is either cheered or booed.
- 18:36Dayna Roselli: But if you come out and it's quiet and you hear crickets, it it's not over.
- 18:42Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that's not over.
- 18:43Dayna Roselli: To be over, that's a good thing.
- 18:45Dayna Roselli: There needs to be a lot of noise.
- 18:46Sean McAllister: It's like an overwhelming response, kind of.
- 18:48Dayna Roselli: Because I mean, even a boo is good because it means like you're the enemy.
- 18:51Sean McAllister: Exactly, especially for the heels.
- 18:53Dayna Roselli: Yeah, exactly.
- 18:54Sean McAllister: You expect that.
- 18:55Sean McAllister: Not the baby faces, they want the cheers.
- 18:57Dayna Roselli: Right, right.
- 18:57Dayna Roselli: You know, and I can't remember who I was talking to, but we were saying, like, you know, really like WrestleMania wrestlers.
- 19:02Dayna Roselli: I mean, they are like literally stunt men.
- 19:04Dayna Roselli: I mean, it's amazing what they do.
- 19:06Sean McAllister: You know, it's entertainment, but it's a physically grueling form of entertainment.
- 19:12unknown: I know.
- 19:13Dayna Roselli: Um, yeah, so you know, we're getting to know our wrestlers and enjoying uh all of that.
- 19:17Dayna Roselli: I still follow Cody Rhodes on Instagram because he's so fun to watch.
- 19:21Dayna Roselli: He just came back and it was like Cody's back, and there's always just like a big fanfare.
- 19:25Dayna Roselli: WrestleMania is awesome.
- 19:26Dayna Roselli: We get so many comments and so many messages from people all over the world that that love that we cover this.
- 19:32Dayna Roselli: So we will continue to do that, and it's exciting for our city.
- 19:35Sean McAllister: Yes, it is.
- 19:36Dayna Roselli: Oh, and maybe the wrestlers will float around on the yacht when they get here in April.
- 19:39Dayna Roselli: Oh, they might, I think.
- 19:42Sean McAllister: At the fountains, that wouldn't surprise me.
- 19:44Sean McAllister: Hey, uh, you mentioned earlier, Dana, um we did we are recording this episode a little bit early because um I'm out of town.
- 19:53Dayna Roselli: Yep.
- 19:53Sean McAllister: But while I'm out of town, you're staying in town, but you're not having any downtime.
- 19:59Dayna Roselli: I've got a whole list because I thought, okay, I've got a little spare time.
- 20:02Dayna Roselli: You know, I'll work a little in the day, but I'm gonna I want to get out and do things I haven't been able to do.
- 20:07Dayna Roselli: Um and then the list just kept-I mean, I have one free day, I think.
- 20:11Dayna Roselli: And I think I need to fill that with a dinner with a friend.
- 20:14Dayna Roselli: Okay, so I'm doing what am I doing?
- 20:15Dayna Roselli: I am going to Paul McCartney at Allegiance Stadium.
- 20:18Dayna Roselli: Nice.
- 20:18Dayna Roselli: So that all these things may have happened already, by the way.
- 20:21Dayna Roselli: Now we're talking.
- 20:22Dayna Roselli: You're like, wait, that was last weekend.
- 20:23Dayna Roselli: It was.
- 20:24Dayna Roselli: So all the stuff we're gonna talk about in next week's episode.
- 20:27Dayna Roselli: That's right.
- 20:27Dayna Roselli: Um, but Paul McCartney, I'm finally going to see the Bob Marley Hope Road experience at Mandalay Bay.
- 20:35Dayna Roselli: And um the weekend before that, I'm going to that Arabian horse event at the land right across from the Wynn.
- 20:44Dayna Roselli: It's the Wynn's property.
- 20:45Dayna Roselli: I forget what they call it, but it's like an event area outside.
- 20:48Dayna Roselli: Um, so I'm gonna let you know what that is all about.
- 20:51Dayna Roselli: I'm gonna look forward to that because we talked about it.
- 20:54Dayna Roselli: And when I had talked to the um like the publicist or marketing people over there or organizers, they were like, no, it's gonna be back next year and it'll be bigger than ever.
- 21:03Dayna Roselli: Um, so keep that in mind.
- 21:05Dayna Roselli: Um, and then I want to get the name right for that.
- 21:08Dayna Roselli: So I'm just looking it up right now.
- 21:10Dayna Roselli: And it is the Global Champions Arabians Tour.
- 21:14Dayna Roselli: So they brought it to Miami, um, and now they're bringing it here to Las Vegas.
- 21:18Dayna Roselli: So that'll be fun.
- 21:19Dayna Roselli: Uh, apparently Megan Trainer's performing, they're doing a performance um of the greatest showman.
- 21:25Sean McAllister: And the horses are uh all involved with this.
- 21:27Dayna Roselli: Uh yeah, I mean, I guess so.
- 21:29Dayna Roselli: I don't know.
- 21:29Dayna Roselli: I'm excited to check it out.
- 21:30Dayna Roselli: Like, as we said, by now I would have checked it out, and you might see it on my social media, but I'm looking forward to going and seeing what this is all about because it sounds really fun.
- 21:40Dayna Roselli: Um, what else am I doing?
- 21:42Sean McAllister: Taylor's Taylor Swift's.
- 21:43Dayna Roselli: Yes, Taylor Swift's album's coming out, and I'm going to the the movie that she's putting out for the release party movie, going to Red Rock to see that.
- 21:52Dayna Roselli: So, I mean, I'm stacked, Sean.
- 21:55Sean McAllister: I listen, I am excited for next week so that we get to recap everything that uh you are doing.
- 22:02Sean McAllister: I will have uh some stories from going to see Benson Boone at T-Mobile Arena.
- 22:09Sean McAllister: And I'm doing a little trip out to the Hawaiian Islands.
- 22:14Sean McAllister: So I might have some stories from there too.
- 22:16Dayna Roselli: A lot of people love to visit Hawaii from here, so I'm sure you'll have some tips for that.
- 22:20Dayna Roselli: And um we have a lot of Hawaiians that live in Las Vegas, a lot of visitors, so I think that'll be good.
- 22:24Dayna Roselli: And also I'll be hosting an interview session on stage with the pasta queen, Nadia Katerina Muno, popular TV personality, chef, author.
- 22:33Dayna Roselli: She's a lot of fun.
- 22:34Dayna Roselli: She's coming to Vegas for the first time at Wynn.
- 22:37Dayna Roselli: That is October 2nd, it will have taken place.
- 22:40Dayna Roselli: You've probably also seen that on my social if you follow along.
- 22:43Dayna Roselli: But I'll I'll let everyone know how that experience was and meeting her in person because she is a larger than life personality.
- 22:49Sean McAllister: Oh my gosh.
- 22:50Sean McAllister: So our basically next week's episode is just gonna be catching up on everything that we've done.
- 22:55Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 22:55Sean McAllister: And uh maybe a couple little other nuggets thrown in.
- 22:59Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 22:59Dayna Roselli: But right now, we're both going for haircuts and we're running late.
- 23:02Sean McAllister: And the clock is ticking.
- 23:03Dayna Roselli: I gotta get this mop trimmed.
- 23:05Dayna Roselli: It's a hot mess.
- 23:06Dayna Roselli: So uh have a great week, everyone, and we look forward to filling you in on everything Las Vegas when we return next week.
- 23:12Sean McAllister: Cheers!
