- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey Jonas.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Happy Halloween.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Oh, it's spooky season. It is spooky season.
- 0:16Speaker 4: It's the Hey Jonas Halloween episode. Hey.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Happy Halloween.
- 0:21Speaker 4: Yay.
- 0:22Speaker 3: That's haunting. Well, tis the season to be jolly. Your
- 0:28Speaker 3: costumes are great, guys. I love your costume, by the way.
- 0:31Speaker 4: We love your costume.
- 0:32Speaker 3: You're going as New York City designer.
- 0:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 0:35Speaker 3: Jacquemus designer today, I see.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:37Speaker 3: That's actually exactly what I was going for. You're going
- 0:39Speaker 3: for lead singer. I'm under the weather. I'm sorry to
- 0:42Speaker 3: hear that, bro. It's sad, sad times. It's not getting
- 0:47Speaker 3: me down, though. My spirits are high. Problem is that
- 0:53Speaker 3: what began as a sore throat has evolved to congestion.
- 0:58Speaker 3: It's the worst. And a general feeling of kind of
- 1:03Speaker 3: flu-ish type vibes. So fun.
- 1:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Great.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Not super fun to be on tour trying to sing
- 1:10Speaker 3: while sick.
- 1:10Speaker 2: You know, we were talking about this. Somebody asked you
- 1:12Speaker 2: the other day and, you know, somebody's like, how did
- 1:14Speaker 2: you do it? And you were like, there's 10, Nick
- 1:16Speaker 2: said there's $ 10, 000 and then there's $ 50, 000. And I think
- 1:20Speaker 2: it's true to that because, you know, we have to
- 1:22Speaker 2: lock in. We like, we kind of speak.
- 1:25Speaker 3: I did say that. And now I'm concerned that maybe
- 1:27Speaker 3: that sounded stupid. How many, how many years would 50,000
- 1:31Speaker 3: hours be? Five years.
- 1:33Speaker 1: Oh.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Oh, so we're well into the 100,000, 200,000 hours. And
- 1:37Speaker 2: it's just kind of like, you know, we don't even
- 1:39Speaker 2: need to say anything. We look at each other and
- 1:41Speaker 2: we lock in. And I was taking your lead parts.
- 1:43Speaker 2: You were singing a harmony, protecting your voice. So you
- 1:46Speaker 2: can really go for it on Jealous, the song. A
- 1:49Speaker 2: Nick Jonas single.
- 1:51Speaker 3: So guys, we had a really fun day off, didn't we?
- 1:54Speaker 3: We did. It was great. We have a little slideshow.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Let's go through the slideshow of photos.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Nick woke up at my apartment in New York City.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Mm-hmm. My kind of last hoorah because I just sold it. Congrats.
- 2:06Speaker 3: And so it was our last kind of hoorah hanging
- 2:08Speaker 3: out at the apartment. I text Nick. I said, hey,
- 2:10Speaker 3: we're going to get some brunch. There's a brunch photo.
- 2:12Speaker 2: I was kind of nervous because you got in my
- 2:14Speaker 2: car and I drove us to Manhattan. And then Nick
- 2:17Speaker 2: was kind of silent because he wasn't feeling well. And
- 2:19Speaker 2: then check that out.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Oh, yummy.
- 2:20Speaker 3: He just goes. That's a wet egg. Hold the phone. No, no, no.
- 2:24Speaker 3: That's kimchi scramble, Kev. Oh, it's kimchi. Oh, okay. Nick
- 2:29Speaker 3: had about three bites. He looked at me.
- 2:30Speaker 1: He goes.
- 2:31Speaker 3: This is unbelievable. I was so happy. That is a
- 2:34Speaker 3: huge feeling.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Maybe a picture of a coffee cup there you got.
- 2:38Speaker 3: Oh, there's that delicious coffee. That's a beautiful latte. What
- 2:40Speaker 3: else we do? We keep going. Let's see. We had
- 2:42Speaker 3: some coffee.
- 2:42Speaker 2: Oh, that then, as you can tell, in balance, a
- 2:45Speaker 2: couple hours later after we did some shopping, we shopped
- 2:47Speaker 2: till we dropped.
- 2:48Speaker 3: We hit this store called Kobo. I love that shop
- 2:50Speaker 3: in Lower East Side. Nick bought this new jacket. I
- 2:53Speaker 3: did buy this jacket.
- 2:54Speaker 4: Fire.
- 2:55Speaker 2: I was trying to get him to buy the cream one.
- 2:58Speaker 2: They were out in medium, so he went with the
- 2:59Speaker 2: black one or blue. Navy was really nice. But this
- 3:01Speaker 2: is Bar Oliver.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Shout out. We had a lot of energy. What's going on?
- 3:05Speaker 2: I'm a hot dog. Then we went to see some artwork.
- 3:08Speaker 2: We saw some artwork, a little story time. Next slide.
- 3:10Speaker 2: We went to a Keith Haring exhibit.
- 3:12Speaker 3: This photo. Wow.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Okay, this photo has a lot of lore because we
- 3:17Speaker 2: were downstairs in this gallery. It was someone's private collection
- 3:20Speaker 2: of their Keith Haring paintings. It's worth well over millions
- 3:22Speaker 2: and millions of dollars. That's a beautiful photo.
- 3:25Speaker 3: I tried to Gemini to see how much that would
- 3:27Speaker 3: be worth. It didn't even know. And I was doing
- 3:30Speaker 3: a lot of photo dump material for Nick, getting these
- 3:32Speaker 3: shots for him. Give me some content. And I backed,
- 3:34Speaker 3: as I was backing.
- 3:35Speaker 2: up taking this picture, I may have, I definitely had,
- 3:39Speaker 2: I might have touched one of the paintings on my
- 3:41Speaker 2: back and I panicked.
- 3:44Speaker 3: Joe was all concerned. I was so concerned. I shouldn't
- 3:46Speaker 3: tell the story because then they'll know. I'm like, they
- 3:48Speaker 3: know anyway. I immediately look up and there's like three cameras.
- 3:51Speaker 3: So we walk upstairs to leave and the lady at
- 3:53Speaker 3: the front, the front goes, the person at the front goes,
- 3:56Speaker 3: if you guys don't mind, my manager would love to
- 3:58Speaker 3: speak to you. And I was like, oh shit, oh shit,
- 3:59Speaker 3: oh shit, oh shit. And Nick doesn't know. And I'm,
- 4:01Speaker 3: I'm sweating. I'm like, I'm like, this is it.
- 4:04Speaker 2: I'm going to have to buy this damn thing. Which, which,
- 4:07Speaker 2: I don't know. And I, I, it's, it's, it's a lot.
- 4:12Speaker 2: And I'm thinking, oh God, this is, this is the moment.
- 4:15Speaker 2: And she's all coming down. She comes, this lady comes
- 4:17Speaker 2: up and she's like, I introduced herself. She's like, so
- 4:19Speaker 2: I'd like to speak to you guys for a minute
- 4:20Speaker 2: if you don't mind. And I was like, oh God,
- 4:22Speaker 2: I'm sweating.
- 4:23Speaker 4: She's like, I'm ruined.
- 4:24Speaker 3: And she immediately is just like, how'd you hear about us?
- 4:27Speaker 3: Do you like the work? I was like, Oh, we're good.
- 4:29Speaker 3: I was like, Oh, we're, we love it.
- 4:30Speaker 4: It was great.
- 4:30Speaker 3: I think we actually got to go. We walk outside.
- 4:32Speaker 3: I'm like, Nick, Oh my God. Oh, then you have
- 4:33Speaker 3: to hear what just happened. Then we met our friend
- 4:34Speaker 3: Frank Park for dinner next there.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Oh, there's another painting. Oh, we had a little spritz spritzes.
- 4:39Speaker 2: It's spritz season, spritz season. It's getting out of spritz season,
- 4:42Speaker 2: but we were guys, this looks like such a great day.
- 4:44Speaker 4: It's a great day.
- 4:44Speaker 2: We went to a, this is how we end our
- 4:45Speaker 2: night with some Guinnesses. Very, an Irish pub is lovely. Um, and, uh,
- 4:50Speaker 2: it was a wonderful day. And then we woke up
- 4:52Speaker 2: to the funniest.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:55Speaker 3: Oh, this is, sorry, important lore. We were telling our
- 4:58Speaker 3: friend John Taylor on the phone how we had a
- 5:00Speaker 3: great day and we even bumped into... Like somebody came
- 5:04Speaker 3: up to us like, hey guys, you're the brothers. We love,
- 5:06Speaker 3: I love you guys. We're like, oh, thanks.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:08Speaker 3: And he's like, you guys know Beck? We're like, like
- 5:10Speaker 3: Beck the singer?
- 5:11Speaker 5: Beck?
- 5:11Speaker 3: So we're telling John the story about meeting Beck on
- 5:13Speaker 3: the street. And the lead singer of Fuckers. That's a band.
- 5:15Speaker 3: That's a band name. Really nice little interaction. He goes, oh,
- 5:18Speaker 3: you know what? Actually, a friend of mine saw that
- 5:20Speaker 3: and took a picture of it. So you have a
- 5:22Speaker 3: photo of that moment?
- 5:23Speaker 4: You met Beck?
- 5:24Speaker 3: Beck is to my left.
- 5:25Speaker 4: Wow.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Or Nick's left. Oh, I see the hair. I see
- 5:27Speaker 3: the hair.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Yeah, there's the hair next to me. And I'm speaking
- 5:30Speaker 2: to the lead singer of Fuckers. Not a paparazzi shot.
- 5:33Speaker 2: This is just a real life moment. Outside of the
- 5:37Speaker 2: new coffee shop.
- 5:38Speaker 3: It's so wild.
- 5:39Speaker 2: A little bit weird the guy took a picture, but hey,
- 5:41Speaker 2: pretty cool moment to capture. This was a great day,
- 5:43Speaker 2: but you said... So I had a great day off too,
- 5:45Speaker 2: but then I ruined.
- 5:46Speaker 3: It this morning. Are you comfortable sharing the story? Yeah,
- 5:48Speaker 3: I kind of have to at this point. Because this
- 5:50Speaker 3: is the funniest.
- 5:51Speaker 2: I did something that ruined my entire day.
- 5:54Speaker 3: You're in a safe place, Kev. You're in a safe place.
- 5:56Speaker 3: This is a safe space. Yeah, sure.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Do you.
- 6:00Speaker 3: I don't even know how to start this.
- 6:01Speaker 2: So here, we have a group text with a couple friends,
- 6:05Speaker 2: and they're all Giants fans, New York Giants fans.
- 6:07Speaker 3: New York football Giants fans. This thread has been going
- 6:10Speaker 3: for 15 years.
- 6:12Speaker 2: The original Jonas Brothers drummer, Alex is on it, our
- 6:15Speaker 2: buddy Carl from New York, our tour photographer back in
- 6:18Speaker 2: the day, Rob Hoffman, Greg Hrabowski.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Jack Lawless. Yeah, so not just my brothers.
- 6:23Speaker 2: That's a lot of people. And there was a big
- 6:26Speaker 2: announcement that J.J. McCarthy- who is going to be the,
- 6:29Speaker 2: he's going to start as our quarterback. Kevin sends through
- 6:32Speaker 2: a picture to the group chat. It's a big TV.
- 6:34Speaker 3: It's a TV.
- 6:36Speaker 2: And it's got the announcement on it. And no one
- 6:38Speaker 2: like kind of thinks much of it.
- 6:40Speaker 3: Actually, you can go to the next slide. Rob Hoffman.
- 6:42Speaker 3: Rob responds. Rob responds to the top.
- 6:44Speaker 2: My predictions are, you know, he'll be a little shaky
- 6:46Speaker 2: at first, the game, and just go to rile back.
- 6:49Speaker 3: He'll just rile back up. He'll rile us all up.
- 6:51Speaker 3: And then we'll go on to win the Super Bowl. Oh,
- 6:52Speaker 3: that's great. About an hour later. Hour later. So, Rob
- 6:57Speaker 3: responds to the photo. No, he doesn't.
- 7:00Speaker 2: That's him responding to the photo. The photo's right above this.
- 7:04Speaker 3: This is our story. At this point, we have to
- 7:06Speaker 3: tell the story. We're going to help you out here.
- 7:09Speaker 3: This is why I saw it. He hammer panic texts us. Guys,
- 7:13Speaker 3: delete the photo. I'm sorry. Cuck my life is insane.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Cuck my life. Fuck. Next text.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Fuck. Delete the thread.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Fuck. Fuck.
- 7:23Speaker 3: Which are the greatest series.
- 7:25Speaker 2: And by the way, I'm like, I immediately, I'm on
- 7:27Speaker 2: the couch playing video games and I look at Nick
- 7:30Speaker 2: and I'm like, why did Kevin accidentally like. I'm getting
- 7:33Speaker 2: my hair cut and I look at the photo. Did
- 7:36Speaker 2: he post something he wasn't supposed to? Guys, guys, guys,
- 7:40Speaker 2: it's just dicks out for JJ McCarthy. The photo has
- 7:44Speaker 2: mirrors everywhere. And I didn't clock it. And it was
- 7:48Speaker 2: in our bathroom. And I took the photo as I'm
- 7:51Speaker 2: getting into the shower. And sadly, sent it to the
- 7:57Speaker 2: group chat with all the boys. You have a massive
- 8:00Speaker 2: TV in your bathroom. But there's mirrors surrounding the TV.
- 8:04Speaker 2: And you can only see. It's like the greatest thing
- 8:08Speaker 2: that you didn't know happened.
- 8:10Speaker 3: There's a big TV. And right below it is a mirror.
- 8:12Speaker 3: And it's only your dick.
- 8:16Speaker 2: It's literally just your wiener. And it's funny for me
- 8:20Speaker 2: to say that, but I just realized. My costume. Because
- 8:24Speaker 2: I'm dressed as a wiener. The texts are, Kevin, they
- 8:28Speaker 2: are legendary. Delete the photo.
- 8:31Speaker 4: Delete?
- 8:31Speaker 3: Cuck my life.
- 8:32Speaker 4: No, hold on.
- 8:33Speaker 3: Sorry. Let's do it. Let's take our time. Guys, delete
- 8:36Speaker 3: the photo. I'm sorry is incredible. All time line. Which,
- 8:42Speaker 3: by the way, I like that.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Nobody wants to have a dick pic sent to them
- 8:46Speaker 2: that they didn't want.
- 8:47Speaker 3: Cuck my life.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Fuck.
- 8:52Speaker 3: I got more mad. I'm getting a t-shirt made with
- 8:54Speaker 3: this on it. Delete the thread.
- 8:57Speaker 4: Fuck. It's like Jarvis, Jarvis, delete the thread.
- 9:03Speaker 5: Delete.
- 9:04Speaker 4: Guys, delete the photo.
- 9:05Speaker 2: It's like to encourage your friends to be like, Hey everyone,
- 9:10Speaker 2: delete the photo.
- 9:10Speaker 4: Actually delete the thread. Delete it. Just delete.
- 9:15Speaker 3: He's like, you're like hitting a launch button. You're like,
- 9:16Speaker 3: blow their phones up. It's like, if there's a person
- 9:19Speaker 3: you could call, be like, Mr.
- 9:20Speaker 4: President.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Hi.
- 9:22Speaker 3: I know we don't always get along. Can you blow
- 9:24Speaker 3: their phones up for me?
- 9:25Speaker 4: I just, I just need this to end.
- 9:28Speaker 3: What's funny is not the photo.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 9:31Speaker 3: We're not making it clear. I appreciate that. Cause the guys,
- 9:33Speaker 3: I'll be honest. I, you know, I just came from
- 9:35Speaker 3: the gym. The room is 62 degrees. It's these four
- 9:39Speaker 3: texts back to back that are like, um, poetry.
- 9:44Speaker 2: I threw my phone in the kitchen this morning and
- 9:47Speaker 2: Danielle looks at.
- 9:48Speaker 3: Me, she goes, what's wrong? And I go, I sent
- 9:50Speaker 3: the guy my dick!
- 9:52Speaker 4: I sent the guy my dick! Danielle, I sent him
- 9:54Speaker 4: my dick! Oh, she goes, oh no. Oh, Oh my God.
- 10:01Speaker 3: And the fact that you're dressed as a hot dog.
- 10:04Speaker 3: I love Nick's response though. Just go giants.
- 10:07Speaker 4: Go giants.
- 10:08Speaker 3: By the way, everyone's very sweet. If you see these messages,
- 10:12Speaker 3: you can go to the next thread. It could have
- 10:14Speaker 3: gone to so many other places. Oh my God.
- 10:16Speaker 2: I mean, if you go to the next thread, there's, there's,
- 10:19Speaker 2: you know, that's, it was like, well, and our buddy says, well,
- 10:23Speaker 2: we're all grown up now. It's just so funny for
- 10:26Speaker 2: so many reasons.
- 10:28Speaker 3: And he said, you're all good, buddy. It was the
- 10:29Speaker 3: right people to send it to.
- 10:30Speaker 4: Sorry, guys.
- 10:31Speaker 3: It's hilarious, too. I'm sorry. Apologizing. I'm sorry, guys. Like,
- 10:35Speaker 3: come on. That's the last thing on the world I wanted.
- 10:37Speaker 3: It's really remarkable. Yeah, so this is going to be
- 10:39Speaker 3: one of those.
- 10:39Speaker 1: Cut my life.
- 10:42Speaker 3: It's so funny. Delete the thread.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Okay.
- 10:51Speaker 3: I have one more fun story to tell. Oh, this
- 10:53Speaker 3: is crazy. We're at the airport. This pilot comes up
- 10:55Speaker 3: to me and says, hey, I actually have a crazy
- 10:57Speaker 3: story to tell you. He goes, 15 years ago or something,
- 11:02Speaker 3: he's like, I had tickets to go to a baseball
- 11:03Speaker 3: game with my daughter. It's like, that morning, our friends called.
- 11:07Speaker 3: We're like, we got Jonas Brothers tickets. We were playing
- 11:09Speaker 3: in Allentown nearby. And so she went to our show instead.
- 11:14Speaker 3: And he said, during the game, in like the second
- 11:17Speaker 3: or third inning, someone hit a foul ball, a line drive,
- 11:22Speaker 3: and they didn't have the netting at that time at
- 11:24Speaker 3: this stadium. And it, blew past two people in front
- 11:28Speaker 3: of him and hit the chair that his daughter would
- 11:30Speaker 3: have been sitting in. He's like, so basically you saved
- 11:34Speaker 3: my daughter's life. Like, it's like a thing for, I'm like.
- 11:37Speaker 2: That is a great, that's incredible. That's a great story.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Nick told me, he went to the bathroom. He's like,
- 11:43Speaker 2: that guy just told me a crazy story. And I
- 11:44Speaker 2: was like, to be honest, once he said, Hey, I
- 11:46Speaker 2: have a story to tell you. I was like, I
- 11:48Speaker 2: gotta pee. I'm not staying for this. And then Nick
- 11:50Speaker 2: told me the story. I was like, I gotta shake
- 11:51Speaker 2: this guy's hand. I didn't wash my hands, but I
- 11:53Speaker 2: was like, I gotta shake this guy's hand.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Said hi to him. It's wild. And then he's also
- 11:56Speaker 3: flying the CEO of Welch's.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:59Speaker 3: Which obviously. Big fans. We're big fans. Big fans. But
- 12:02Speaker 3: also we have Welch's fruit snacks everywhere. Oh, he hooked
- 12:06Speaker 3: us up. He gave us a ton. He gave us
- 12:08Speaker 3: so much.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Shout out Welch's. He was like, hold on. Let me
- 12:10Speaker 3: get some Welch's for you from the plane. And literally
- 12:12Speaker 3: have like. Goodie bags. Goodie bags on his private plane.
- 12:14Speaker 3: That's wild.
- 12:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Well, good luck, JJ. All right, should we get into it?
- 12:18Speaker 3: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Hey Jonas podcast, our
- 12:20Speaker 3: friend Josh Pax!
- 12:22Speaker 2: Yay!
- 12:23Speaker 4: Wow, thank you. Nick's not in a costume. What's that
- 12:26Speaker 4: really saying? What's that saying, guys?
- 12:28Speaker 2: I just feel like I have two hot takes for
- 12:31Speaker 2: you right off the jump here.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Hot dog takes. Being a grown man and having a
- 12:35Speaker 3: cold is so pathetic. And I have a cold. It's
- 12:39Speaker 3: not pathetic. And also, being a grown man... In a
- 12:43Speaker 3: costume equally as pathetic. That's why I didn't dress up.
- 12:47Speaker 3: But it's not about me. We're happy to have you
- 12:50Speaker 3: on the pod. As you can see, it's our Halloween episode,
- 12:52Speaker 3: so we're really getting into the Halloween spirit. I just
- 12:56Speaker 3: realized I have a topper. You have a topper?
- 12:58Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 12:58Speaker 3: I want to say, right off the bat, long-time fans
- 13:01Speaker 3: of yours, and thrilled to get to chat to you today.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Thanks for coming on. Yeah, man.
- 13:06Speaker 2: We're so thrilled to see you again. I know we've
- 13:08Speaker 2: had many run-ins through our careers.
- 13:11Speaker 3: And friendships. We have a lot of mutuals too.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Speaking of run-ins, me and Josh ran into each other
- 13:15Speaker 2: at the airport like two days ago.
- 13:18Speaker 3: What are the odds of that? Yeah.
- 13:20Speaker 5: We, it's funny because I was sitting, we're on this
- 13:22Speaker 5: little puddle jumper from New York to, uh, to Indianapolis
- 13:25Speaker 5: and the flight attendant comes over. She goes, wow, I'm
- 13:27Speaker 5: a big fan. I can't believe you and Kevin Jonas
- 13:30Speaker 5: are on my flight. And I was like, Kevin's here?
- 13:32Speaker 5: And she's like, right over there.
- 13:34Speaker 3: And you're like, and Raven Simone's flying the plane.
- 13:38Speaker 4: Kevin was just like a sweet little cherub catching. I
- 13:40Speaker 4: was like, he tours so hard. He needs his rest.
- 13:43Speaker 2: I was sleeping pretty hard on that flight. That was
- 13:45Speaker 2: a early morning. Can I ask you, what were you
- 13:48Speaker 2: doing in Indianapolis?
- 13:49Speaker 5: I was going down to Fort Wayne to do a
- 13:51Speaker 5: talk at Purdue College because that's the one we live
- 13:54Speaker 5: in where Josh Peck speaks to college students.
- 13:57Speaker 3: That's incredible. Hold on, hold on. That's cool. Can you
- 14:01Speaker 3: walk us through exactly what that looks like? What are
- 14:04Speaker 3: you talking about?
- 14:05Speaker 5: The truth is, is that these kids are probably full
- 14:08Speaker 5: of anxiety and pressure in the school year and midterms
- 14:12Speaker 5: and finals.
- 14:13Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 14:13Speaker 5: You know, none of us had a childhood, but I
- 14:15Speaker 5: assume that's what kids worry about.
- 14:17Speaker 3: We read about it online.
- 14:20Speaker 2: We never had stressful situations in our life ever.
- 14:24Speaker 4: I see it in subreddit.
- 14:26Speaker 5: So I basically go, I tell stories from my life,
- 14:29Speaker 5: good like anecdotes from different jobs I've done that they're
- 14:32Speaker 5: fans of, and then try to leave them with a
- 14:34Speaker 5: little inspiration.
- 14:35Speaker 1: I love that.
- 14:36Speaker 2: It's amazing, man.
- 14:37Speaker 3: How long are these talks typically?
- 14:39Speaker 4: About an hour.
- 14:39Speaker 3: About an hour.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Okay.
- 14:40Speaker 5: Amazing.
- 14:41Speaker 3: What are some of your favorite memories from, how many
- 14:43Speaker 3: have you done?
- 14:44Speaker 4: I've done a couple dozen.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Has there been any like moments that really stood out
- 14:47Speaker 2: to you? They're like, oh, this, this really hit, hit
- 14:49Speaker 2: home for me or a reminder of why.
- 14:50Speaker 5: You do that? I, you know, I don't know if
- 14:53Speaker 5: it's one particular, what I love is that I get
- 14:55Speaker 5: to say like that I've spoken at these illustrious, prestigious colleges.
- 14:59Speaker 5: And even I was checking into a, you know, Marriott
- 15:02Speaker 5: Spring Hill Suites in Fort Wayne.
- 15:04Speaker 4: I don't mean to brag.
- 15:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:08Speaker 4: Shout out Marriott Bonvoy.
- 15:10Speaker 5: And the lady behind the counter was like, oh, can
- 15:12Speaker 5: I get a picture?
- 15:13Speaker 4: I was like, yeah, sure, sure. She's like, what are
- 15:15Speaker 4: you doing here? I'm like, I'm going to go speak
- 15:16Speaker 4: at Purdue. She goes, about what?
- 15:19Speaker 3: Yeah. You could kind of make up anything in that moment,
- 15:25Speaker 3: you know?
- 15:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:26Speaker 3: That's, that's really cool.
- 15:27Speaker 4: Any major.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Has anyone given you an honorary degree or at least offered?
- 15:33Speaker 4: No, dude. What about you guys? You guys got any
- 15:35Speaker 4: like doctorates or anything?
- 15:36Speaker 2: We've been trying to like, I'm trying to actually really,
- 15:39Speaker 2: do we, do we really, we, we come off.
- 15:41Speaker 3: As a professors. Um, we, you know, we are trying,
- 15:46Speaker 3: you know, we were homeschooled. Yeah.
- 15:48Speaker 2: We did the, we did what everyone, I guess in our, our,
- 15:52Speaker 2: our years of, of acting, what we would do is,
- 15:55Speaker 2: you know, they had school rooms on set for those
- 15:57Speaker 2: that are listening, that don't know this, you have school
- 15:59Speaker 2: rooms on set, or you travel with a tutor. And, um,
- 16:02Speaker 2: then somehow we passed because we're not really paying much attention.
- 16:07Speaker 2: And years later, you know, you start seeing like John
- 16:09Speaker 2: Mayer's getting all these like honorary degree. I mean, he
- 16:11Speaker 2: did go, he did drop out of Berkeley.
- 16:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:13Speaker 3: He was at Berkeley. He actually went to college. But
- 16:15Speaker 3: there's this, I'm seeing people hand these out. We're open
- 16:18Speaker 3: for business.
- 16:19Speaker 2: There is a, um, there is a pop music, uh,
- 16:23Speaker 2: category of the teen choice wars yeah that too but
- 16:26Speaker 2: there's a like a pop music uh like class you
- 16:29Speaker 2: can take at ucla and i was trying to get
- 16:33Speaker 2: and i was on the phone with a couple of
- 16:35Speaker 2: people trying to make it happen but an honorary degree
- 16:37Speaker 2: for you as if you went and spoke twice you
- 16:39Speaker 2: would get like a full degree at this school wow
- 16:42Speaker 2: what a nice.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Gift uh it didn't come to happen but i tried
- 16:46Speaker 3: i only did i one time i i spoke at
- 16:48Speaker 3: oxford university that was a really interesting experience but here's
- 16:52Speaker 3: the problem is that I wasn't really given, I think,
- 16:56Speaker 3: the proper kind of context or setup of, like, that,
- 17:01Speaker 3: you know, most people have a prepared speech. So I
- 17:04Speaker 3: got up there and spoke for about 20 minutes just
- 17:06Speaker 3: kind of like, you know, about whatever was relevant to
- 17:10Speaker 3: the theme. But, you know, now if I had done it,
- 17:14Speaker 3: I would have definitely prepared something because I then just
- 17:16Speaker 3: had to open it up for questions because I'm, like,
- 17:18Speaker 3: looking at the clock. I'm like, I still have 45
- 17:20Speaker 3: minutes left in my talk that I didn't prepare for. Oh,
- 17:24Speaker 3: safe to say I didn't get an honorary degree there.
- 17:27Speaker 3: But that's very cool that you're doing that. Indianapolis, we
- 17:29Speaker 3: were just there. The show was great. It's a great town.
- 17:31Speaker 5: I feel like you guys are always everywhere, but even
- 17:34Speaker 5: more so right now. You're touring like crazy. How are
- 17:38Speaker 5: you guys feeling? I feel like you guys haven't been
- 17:40Speaker 5: off tour.
- 17:41Speaker 4: Are you tired? We're in our 30s, guys.
- 17:43Speaker 3: You know, this tour kind of surprised us in a
- 17:46Speaker 3: way because we were going to go do these two
- 17:50Speaker 3: or three nights in New York with this concept of
- 17:52Speaker 3: kind of um, you know, doing the burning up tour,
- 17:56Speaker 3: which was our tour from 2008 all over again. Um,
- 17:59Speaker 3: and then the reaction was so positive to just those
- 18:03Speaker 3: two shows that we said, let's just go and bring
- 18:05Speaker 3: it for the rest of the fans throughout the country. So,
- 18:07Speaker 3: I mean, tour life is a little tiring, um, but,
- 18:10Speaker 3: but we love it. We're, we're fortunate to still be
- 18:14Speaker 3: doing it and have people supporting us. Um, I was
- 18:16Speaker 3: going to say though, We were supposed to have you
- 18:18Speaker 3: on the pod last week, and something pretty wild happened.
- 18:25Speaker 3: Our show in Birmingham, where we were going to record
- 18:27Speaker 3: the podcast from, had to be rescheduled because of some
- 18:32Speaker 3: weather that was happening. Hurricane. So I'm glad it worked
- 18:34Speaker 3: out for you to come back on, and sorry that
- 18:36Speaker 3: we had to shift things around, but we were literally
- 18:38Speaker 3: dealing with a hurricane. Pretty crazy. Yeah.
- 18:40Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 18:41Speaker 5: Listen, I'm a big fan of the Jonas Brothers, each
- 18:44Speaker 5: of you separately. Obviously, I'm a big fan of Mikey DeLisa.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:48Speaker 4: Kevin.
- 18:48Speaker 3: That's how we met. That's how we met.
- 18:50Speaker 2: We met at a party and it was our buddy.
- 18:54Speaker 2: I just remember that was the first time we got
- 18:56Speaker 2: to hang. I mean, we met many, I think, many
- 18:58Speaker 2: red carpets, you know, but the first time we got
- 19:00Speaker 2: to hang was, you know, Mike really well. And then
- 19:04Speaker 2: one of our other mutuals friends, he, I won't say
- 19:07Speaker 2: his name, but he tried to jump off the roof
- 19:09Speaker 2: into the swimming pool and Um, we all encouraged him
- 19:12Speaker 2: not to.
- 19:13Speaker 3: So that was my, that was my, that was my
- 19:14Speaker 3: bonding memory that I'll always.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Yeah. Wow.
- 19:16Speaker 3: You guys save somebody's life together. I mean, I don't
- 19:18Speaker 3: know if you, yeah, actually.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:19Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 19:20Speaker 3: That's why we speak at colleges.
- 19:21Speaker 5: That's why we speak at colleges now.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Josh, I will say you and Mikey definitely, I could
- 19:27Speaker 2: see brothers or at least like one distant cousin.
- 19:30Speaker 3: I see it.
- 19:31Speaker 2: Um, if it's okay, we'd like to turn back time,
- 19:33Speaker 2: you know, we want to talk about how, you know,
- 19:36Speaker 2: Early years of your career. And, and we want to
- 19:38Speaker 2: get her play a little, even though we know we
- 19:39Speaker 2: want to, the listener wants to get to know you, um,
- 19:42Speaker 2: like getting into acting and obviously the success that Drake
- 19:45Speaker 2: and Josh, the show the monstrous show that it was
- 19:47Speaker 2: and still is.
- 19:48Speaker 3: How did that all come about? Like, was it an audition?
- 19:51Speaker 3: Was it a call? Like how did it go down
- 19:53Speaker 3: for you?
- 19:53Speaker 5: Well, I grew up in New York and I was
- 19:56Speaker 5: a chubby boy. And so I didn't have a lot
- 19:59Speaker 5: of like extracurricular sports. It wasn't going to be Little
- 20:02Speaker 5: League for little Josh, but I liked being funny.
- 20:06Speaker 4: And I also used it.
- 20:08Speaker 5: As an asset or a defense mechanism so that I
- 20:11Speaker 5: wouldn't get bullied.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Right.
- 20:12Speaker 3: The best comic is it makes fun of themselves first, right?
- 20:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:15Speaker 5: Like funny things are usually born out of not funny things,
- 20:18Speaker 5: you know? And I, and so I, I kind of
- 20:22Speaker 5: developed a little bit of this skill and, but then
- 20:25Speaker 5: I would be doing like school plays and stuff. And
- 20:27Speaker 5: I'd be like, you guys are not taking this seriously.
- 20:31Speaker 5: I was like, get on your mark, you know, Daniel.
- 20:35Speaker 4: Like, and project.
- 20:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:37Speaker 4: Yeah. And I don't know if it was this.
- 20:40Speaker 5: Way for you guys, but I would watch Disney and
- 20:42Speaker 5: Nickelodeon and be like, well, there's clearly a roster of
- 20:45Speaker 5: kids doing this at a high level that I want
- 20:48Speaker 5: to be a part of.
- 20:48Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 20:49Speaker 5: So I auditioned for Nickelodeon. I auditioned for the show
- 20:53Speaker 5: All That, which was like SNL for kids. Yes.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Oh, we know it well.
- 20:57Speaker 4: The Dream.
- 20:58Speaker 5: And I never got it, but I got this movie
- 21:01Speaker 5: Snow Day, which.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Was like my favorite. Love Snow Day so much. So much.
- 21:06Speaker 2: We watched it last year. I watched it last year
- 21:08Speaker 2: with my oldest daughter and youngest, Valentina. And my God,
- 21:11Speaker 2: they were like confused, but loved it.
- 21:15Speaker 3: You know, it was great.
- 21:17Speaker 4: It's the best.
- 21:17Speaker 5: It's like this classic movie and shout out my, you know,
- 21:21Speaker 5: wonderfully slightly pushy Jewish mother. Cause one day I'm on
- 21:24Speaker 5: set and there's like this guy in a suit and
- 21:27Speaker 5: I was chatting with him like 12 years old, had
- 21:29Speaker 5: no fear.
- 21:30Speaker 4: And I'm like doing jokes and bits.
- 21:32Speaker 3: Wow.
- 21:33Speaker 4: And she kind of sidles up to me. She goes,
- 21:34Speaker 4: you know who that is? That's the president of Nickelodeon,
- 21:37Speaker 4: this guy Albie Hecht. You should tell him you want
- 21:39Speaker 4: to be on all that.
- 21:41Speaker 5: And nine months later, we got a call. And he said,
- 21:44Speaker 5: I want to congratulate you. Snow Day is a hit.
- 21:47Speaker 4: And I'm moving you and your mom to California to
- 21:49Speaker 4: be on The Amanda Show.
- 21:50Speaker 3: That's incredible. Wow, that's right. That's incredible.
- 21:53Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:54Speaker 3: Life-changing story. phone call.
- 21:56Speaker 5: It's wild how that moment really changed everything and then
- 22:00Speaker 5: while I was on the show Drake and I started
- 22:02Speaker 5: to do stuff and we clearly had this chemistry this
- 22:05Speaker 5: this special thing between us. And they called the producers
- 22:10Speaker 5: of The Amanda Show, Nickelodeon, and they said, you know,
- 22:12Speaker 5: we'd love another Kenan and Kel, like a buddy comedy.
- 22:15Speaker 4: What do you got? And they were like, nothing. They
- 22:18Speaker 4: were like, all right, well, think about it.
- 22:20Speaker 5: And on the last episode of The Amanda Show, Drake
- 22:23Speaker 5: and I are wrestling over a really big shrimp. And
- 22:27Speaker 5: one of the producers, Steve Malaro, was like, there's our buddies.
- 22:31Speaker 5: And six months later, Drake and Josh.
- 22:33Speaker 3: So good. That's unreal. How many seasons of Drake and
- 22:35Speaker 3: Josh did you guys do?
- 22:38Speaker 5: It feels like more, but we only in total made
- 22:41Speaker 5: 60 episodes. 60.
- 22:43Speaker 3: That's it.
- 22:44Speaker 4: Isn't that wild?
- 22:45Speaker 3: It feels like it would.
- 22:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 22:46Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 22:46Speaker 3: I feel like it was such a huge part of
- 22:48Speaker 3: the ecosystem.
- 22:49Speaker 4: Hug me, brother!
- 22:52Speaker 3: You calling me a liar?
- 22:53Speaker 4: I ain't calling you a pooser!
- 22:55Speaker 3: Just your audios only. Strictly you. Strictly Josh audios.
- 22:58Speaker 2: It was a little awkward with Matthew McConaughey when I
- 22:59Speaker 2: kept hitting voices of your voice, but it's fine.
- 23:02Speaker 4: He's like, all right, I like that Josh pig.
- 23:05Speaker 3: Now, where do you reside now? Do you still live
- 23:07Speaker 3: in L.A.? Yeah, man.
- 23:08Speaker 4: I'm in L.A. I got three kids. You guys all
- 23:10Speaker 4: got kids, right?
- 23:11Speaker 1: Yes, we do.
- 23:12Speaker 4: Congrats.
- 23:14Speaker 3: That's amazing. He's in the... Your youngest is how old?
- 23:18Speaker 5: One.
- 23:19Speaker 1: One!
- 23:19Speaker 5: Oh, wow.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Congrats to you, man. So that must be wild. I
- 23:23Speaker 2: guess becoming a father, what's been your most revealing thing
- 23:26Speaker 2: about yourself?
- 23:27Speaker 4: Well, what do you guys feel?
- 23:28Speaker 5: I think being a dad is the only thing that
- 23:30Speaker 5: lives up to the hype. And it's kind of this...
- 23:34Speaker 5: It's a cosmic balance, right?
- 23:36Speaker 4: Because... In many ways.
- 23:38Speaker 5: You kind of, you're parenting your younger self through them.
- 23:41Speaker 5: So like what I try to do is be the
- 23:43Speaker 5: dad for them that I wish I had.
- 23:45Speaker 4: So what do you guys think?
- 23:47Speaker 2: I think that's, I mean, that's, everyone's on their own journey.
- 23:50Speaker 2: And I think it's beautiful to hear what you have
- 23:53Speaker 2: to say. I think it is, gives me purpose more than,
- 23:57Speaker 2: more than music and film, TV, all this, even just
- 24:03Speaker 2: having kids. them to speak to at the end of
- 24:06Speaker 2: your day or the beginning of your day, if you're
- 24:07Speaker 2: not around, it's just, you know, it's the best. And
- 24:08Speaker 2: I think it makes you want to work harder so
- 24:10Speaker 2: you can work less and just put your feet up
- 24:13Speaker 2: and be with your kids.
- 24:13Speaker 3: That's, it's the best. It's really having this really like, heartfelt,
- 24:17Speaker 3: sentimental moment in this costume? What are you talking about?
- 24:23Speaker 3: It feels like AI. What kind of.
- 24:26Speaker 4: Hot dog are you? Are you a Hebrew National? Are
- 24:29Speaker 4: you a Nathan's?
- 24:30Speaker 3: What are you feeling? Whoever sponsors this episode, really.
- 24:34Speaker 4: An Oscar Mayer?
- 24:35Speaker 2: I feel like I'm from a ballpark. Didn't you audition
- 24:39Speaker 2: for the Oscar Mayer thing?
- 24:40Speaker 3: Oscar Mayer? I did, actually. Yeah. I bombed it. I
- 24:45Speaker 3: forgot the lyrics. Which are not that... Remember the truck
- 24:47Speaker 3: they used to have with the... It was going on
- 24:48Speaker 3: a national tour. Remember they were bringing it back?
- 24:51Speaker 4: Nick, you remember when we saw each other at the
- 24:53Speaker 4: audition for Jersey Boys?
- 24:55Speaker 3: Of course I do, yeah.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:56Speaker 4: I was like, Nick's here. I'm not going to get those.
- 25:01Speaker 3: I didn't get it either. That's so funny. But yeah,
- 25:04Speaker 3: that was wild.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Oh, man.
- 25:06Speaker 3: I mean, obviously, and since....
- 25:09Speaker 2: Drake and Josh, you've been very successful on your own right.
- 25:12Speaker 2: And it's really incredible to see what you've done, my friend.
- 25:14Speaker 2: And we're so happy for you. It's pretty incredible.
- 25:16Speaker 3: You're a fellow podcaster too. Yes, you are. Your podcast
- 25:18Speaker 3: is awesome. Congrats on the pod.
- 25:21Speaker 4: Guys, let's do a swap.
- 25:22Speaker 5: You're welcome to come on the Good Guys podcast anytime.
- 25:26Speaker 5: Me and my co-host, Ben Soffer, we're basically just old
- 25:29Speaker 5: men in 30-something bodies who complain. And, you know, not
- 25:34Speaker 5: that you guys are busy, but if there's ever a time,
- 25:36Speaker 5: you are always welcome.
- 25:38Speaker 3: We love that.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Well, since we're, look, since we're talking, the answer is yes, Josh.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Since we're, I mean, since we're literally the Halloween episode,
- 25:46Speaker 2: I would like to know, you know, as a dad,
- 25:48Speaker 2: are we getting dressed up? What's the plan this year?
- 25:50Speaker 2: We want to know, do you have an outfit?
- 25:52Speaker 3: Are you trick-or-treating?
- 25:53Speaker 5: Listen, I know I was giving Nick a little bit
- 25:56Speaker 5: of a hard time about it, but I too, not
- 25:59Speaker 5: a big costume fan. And funny enough, my wife and
- 26:02Speaker 5: I 15 years ago met at a Halloween party and
- 26:06Speaker 5: I was dressed like a waiter because.
- 26:08Speaker 4: I just wanted to feel handsome.
- 26:09Speaker 3: You were dressed like a waiter. See, Nick's gone as
- 26:13Speaker 3: Bond a couple times.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:14Speaker 2: And that's because he just wants to wear a tuxedo.
- 26:16Speaker 2: That's really sweet, though, that you met your wife at
- 26:19Speaker 2: a Halloween party. What was she dressed up as? Yeah,
- 26:21Speaker 2: I was going to ask.
- 26:23Speaker 5: She was dressed as Olivia Newton-John in Grease, a pink lady.
- 26:27Speaker 5: Another cutie, like a hot girl costume.
- 26:29Speaker 3: That's great. Does she like to dress up for Halloween, though?
- 26:32Speaker 3: Or no?
- 26:33Speaker 4: Not for Halloween. No. Yeah, no.
- 26:37Speaker 3: Hey, hold on.
- 26:38Speaker 4: Hey, now. Oh my God.
- 26:43Speaker 3: I'm loaded with them.
- 26:44Speaker 4: To me, what do you think as dads?
- 26:45Speaker 5: I think that Christmas Eve and Halloween are the two
- 26:49Speaker 5: greatest days of the year with your kids.
- 26:51Speaker 2: It's incredible.
- 26:51Speaker 3: It's really special.
- 26:53Speaker 2: My daughter is almost five now. And she's obsessed with
- 26:58Speaker 2: spooky season. And she wants to be a witch this year, which....
- 27:07Speaker 3: Feed in which you can do that she wants to
- 27:08Speaker 3: be a witch and I made the mistake of telling
- 27:12Speaker 3: her that you know I don't really like witches I
- 27:15Speaker 3: don't think we should and of course it's you know
- 27:17Speaker 3: opposite she wants to do whatever I say not to
- 27:20Speaker 3: do and so I've got to find a way to
- 27:24Speaker 3: sort of reverse psychology this situation now I'm open to
- 27:27Speaker 3: advice guys we've got a room full of dads here
- 27:29Speaker 3: what are you trying to say you don't want her
- 27:30Speaker 3: to or you do well here's the thing okay witches
- 27:34Speaker 3: like it's fine This is a witch-friendly podcast. Don't try
- 27:39Speaker 3: to cancel me for this. I don't know. Witches get stitches.
- 27:45Speaker 3: I am with you. So you're saying you don't want
- 27:47Speaker 3: your daughter dressed as a witch? I think she doesn't
- 27:50Speaker 3: know all the dark magic that witches actually do.
- 27:53Speaker 2: That's what I'm getting at. Look, descendants is the biggest
- 27:57Speaker 2: thing in the world.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Are they witches?
- 28:00Speaker 1: Probably.
- 28:00Speaker 3: You'd be a cute witch. You'd be like.
- 28:03Speaker 5: yeah what about like Hermione from Harry.
- 28:06Speaker 3: Potter she's a witch yeah so I think it's really
- 28:09Speaker 3: just I think the clarity I have now is that
- 28:11Speaker 3: I know there are good witches let's be a good
- 28:14Speaker 3: witch Hermione like Elphaba is a good witch look we
- 28:20Speaker 3: can list a lot of good witches.
- 28:22Speaker 4: Elphaba's having a moment is she good? she's medium?
- 28:26Speaker 3: She's misunderstood if I understand the show like I think
- 28:31Speaker 3: I do and the two films, then I would say misunderstood.
- 28:35Speaker 3: But what do I know?
- 28:36Speaker 2: Yeah, well, speaking of trick-or-treating, Josh, you are now the
- 28:40Speaker 2: host of Sweet Deceit Trick-or-Treat. I watched the inaugural episode
- 28:44Speaker 2: with my kids because we are, in our fast hold,
- 28:47Speaker 2: we have two favorite things around the holiday season. We
- 28:49Speaker 2: love baking shows, whether it's holiday or if it's Halloween
- 28:53Speaker 2: or Christmas.
- 28:54Speaker 3: But this one was great.
- 28:56Speaker 2: I really got into it the minute someone tried to
- 28:58Speaker 2: bite a wall and see if it was real.
- 29:02Speaker 5: It's an insane show in the best way. I truly
- 29:06Speaker 5: say this. It's like a perfect family show because in
- 29:09Speaker 5: 30 minutes, we have four rounds of trying to figure
- 29:12Speaker 5: out if something is a hyper-realistic pastry or if it's
- 29:16Speaker 5: a random inanimate object that you're biting into.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Dude, the candlestick, I was like, there's no chance that's
- 29:22Speaker 2: not real. The dentist bill for this show, huh? Honestly,
- 29:25Speaker 2: that's what I was thinking about.
- 29:26Speaker 4: Exactly right.
- 29:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:27Speaker 3: Well, we got a dentist on a little version of
- 29:29Speaker 3: this right here in front of us.
- 29:30Speaker 2: To try. We have some lemons in probably the bottom
- 29:33Speaker 2: of your frame. When life gives you lemons.
- 29:37Speaker 3: Let's see. Can you tell from here? What do you think, Joe?
- 29:41Speaker 4: Are one of these edible?
- 29:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:44Speaker 3: One's edible. Maybe they're both edible. What is this here?
- 29:48Speaker 2: I believe this could be real or fake lemons.
- 29:51Speaker 3: That looks very obviously like cake to me. Well, how
- 29:55Speaker 3: do you know? This could also be cake. That looks
- 29:57Speaker 3: like a lemon. So Nick's going to be good at
- 30:01Speaker 3: this show. Well, you know what? They both have graham
- 30:04Speaker 3: crackers on all over them. So it's hard to, I'm
- 30:06Speaker 3: getting a lot of graham cracker. Okay. Let's try it.
- 30:08Speaker 3: Let's try it.
- 30:09Speaker 2: All right.
- 30:10Speaker 4: Yeah, this is great.
- 30:11Speaker 3: I'm going to go with this guy.
- 30:12Speaker 4: I'm pretty sure. Can I do my tagline? Yes, please.
- 30:15Speaker 3: Please, Josh.
- 30:15Speaker 4: Jonas Brothers, spot that sweet.
- 30:18Speaker 3: Let's spot that sweet.
- 30:19Speaker 4: Here we go.
- 30:19Speaker 3: That was sexy.
- 30:21Speaker 4: Oh my God. That's a lemon.
- 30:25Speaker 3: That's a lemon, guys. I'm going to take a fork
- 30:26Speaker 3: knowing that this is definitely cake.
- 30:29Speaker 4: Joe looks like an edible.
- 30:32Speaker 3: This is actually... What do you think, everybody? Cake. It's cake.
- 30:39Speaker 3: That's definitely a lemon.
- 30:41Speaker 4: Oh, boy.
- 30:43Speaker 3: How does that feel on your chapped lips? Well, I'm committed.
- 30:48Speaker 3: It's definitely a lemon.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Way to go.
- 30:53Speaker 4: This podcast is hardcore.
- 30:54Speaker 3: Yeah. I'm not even going to bite into that one.
- 30:57Speaker 4: Thanks, Joe.
- 30:57Speaker 3: You figured it out for us.
- 30:59Speaker 2: You figured it out.
- 30:59Speaker 3: Josh, if you'll indulge us on this podcast, we ask
- 31:03Speaker 3: our incredible listeners to call in and ask for advice. Oh, good.
- 31:08Speaker 3: Mostly on topics and things that we have no business
- 31:11Speaker 3: giving advice. But he speaks at Purdue, so maybe.
- 31:13Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:15Speaker 3: Should we roll the first one? Let's do it. Let's
- 31:17Speaker 3: see how we can help.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Let's do it. It's voicemail time. Voicemails are presented by Hyundai.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Make everyday epic in the Hyundai Palisade Hybrid. Guys, FYI,
- 31:27Speaker 2: every time you leave a voicemail, you're automatically entered into
- 31:30Speaker 2: the chance to fly to Los Angeles to see our
- 31:32Speaker 2: show at the Hollywood Bowl. Thanks to Hyundai, we will
- 31:34Speaker 2: fly you in, hotel, and box seats for our show
- 31:37Speaker 2: at the Hollywood Bowl.
- 31:38Speaker 3: It's the burning up tour all over again.

- 31:58Speaker 1: life for so long. So I'm curious, is there anything
- 32:02Speaker 1: that you grew up with that you have introduced your
- 32:07Speaker 1: girls to or are looking forward to introducing your girls to?
- 32:11Speaker 1: Hope to hear from you.

- 33:46Speaker 2: I was like, I was like, she's about to start
- 33:48Speaker 2: Iron Man two.
- 33:49Speaker 3: We're like, we're going to skip this part. Yeah. I
- 33:51Speaker 3: am Iron Man. I'm excited to show my daughter hook.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Yeah.

- 34:41Speaker 2: roofs into pools together sometime.
- 34:44Speaker 4: Yeah, could you imagine?
- 34:45Speaker 5: That would not have been good if that person broke
- 34:46Speaker 5: their coccyx or something.
- 34:48Speaker 4: If you were involved, not good. I don't have an
- 34:50Speaker 4: umbrella policy. I'm not insured. Please stay off the roof.

- 35:13Speaker 2: Not the Amanda Show. It was the other show where
- 35:14Speaker 2: you had to figure out the words. What was that called?
- 35:17Speaker 3: Figure It Out.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Figure It Out. Yes.
- 35:18Speaker 3: We were on an episode of Figure It Out. And
- 35:19Speaker 3: then I think... He was there with Amanda. He was there.

- 35:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 35:23Speaker 3: He's really nice. Sweet guy. All right. Bye-bye.
