- 0:52Speaker 4: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. I have the best show.
- 0:56Speaker 4: I had a crazy fun weekend that involved Oscars, Vanderpump Rules,
- 1:02Speaker 4: private party, and so much more. And then I get
- 1:05Speaker 4: an interview with Jill Zarin who went to the Elton
- 1:09Speaker 4: John and the Vanity Fair Oscar parties telling us fresh
- 1:12Speaker 4: off like all the scoop and who she ran into.
- 1:14Speaker 4: And I also have a great interview with with Dr. Drew,
- 1:18Speaker 4: at least the first part of it, where we're going
- 1:20Speaker 4: to talk about cheating, narcissism, his opinion of the Scandaval situation,
- 1:26Speaker 4: and what makes someone a cheater or not, how to
- 1:29Speaker 4: live with a narcissist. It's really juicy. So let's get
- 1:31Speaker 4: into it. So my weekend began on Saturday afternoon at
- 1:35Speaker 4: three o'clock, where I was invited to a very exclusive
- 1:37Speaker 4: birthday party for Ocean Kent, Lala's two-year-old daughter.
- 1:40Speaker 2: And it was really fun.
- 1:41Speaker 4: It was at one of those indoor play places that
- 1:44Speaker 4: became popular when my kids were little.
- 1:46Speaker 2: So easy. So Kids are contained. They're playing.
- 1:50Speaker 4: And so it was private and it was, but really
- 1:53Speaker 4: just so fun for the kids. Ocean is adorable. She's
- 1:57Speaker 4: very like, hi, gives me a hug and is very
- 2:00Speaker 4: much like Lala. Like she was about to go down
- 2:02Speaker 4: the slide and she was a little scared. And then
- 2:04Speaker 4: when I went down to catch her, she was like,
- 2:06Speaker 4: all right, I'm good then. As long as you're there,
- 2:08Speaker 4: like I'm good to go. And then Sheena came with
- 2:14Speaker 4: her daughter, Summer, who was dressed as Boo because the
- 2:16Speaker 4: theme was Monsters, Inc.
- 2:18Speaker 2: And the girls are best friends.
- 2:20Speaker 4: And she like ran right up to her and was like,
- 2:21Speaker 4: come friend, let me show you all that's happening here.
- 2:25Speaker 4: So it was, everybody was there. So Kristen Doty showed
- 2:29Speaker 4: up and she, you know, was very into the kids
- 2:32Speaker 4: and happy to be there. We know now that she's
- 2:34Speaker 4: filming with Vanderpump and she's very close to Ariana and
- 2:37Speaker 4: being a great support system. We're going to see some
- 2:40Speaker 4: of her in these, you know, these instantaneous episodes that
- 2:43Speaker 4: have happened since the Scandival. Stassi was there looking great.
- 2:48Speaker 4: She's showing she's pregnant. She was there with Bo and
- 2:50Speaker 4: her daughter Hartford, who is so cute, but no longer
- 2:54Speaker 4: a redhead. She's got like longer, like sandy blonde brown
- 2:58Speaker 4: hair and really cute. Jackson Brittany showed up there a
- 3:02Speaker 4: little bit later. You know how it is with kids.
- 3:05Speaker 4: And their son is like a model. Like he has,
- 3:08Speaker 4: he's so cute. So all the kids are playing. And
- 3:11Speaker 4: I talked to Katie and I couldn't help but give
- 3:16Speaker 4: my opinion of what I think went down. And, you know,
- 3:21Speaker 4: she is saying what we're hearing in the news and
- 3:23Speaker 4: that Sandoval knew, but only, I mean, sorry, Schwartz knew
- 3:27Speaker 4: about the scandal, but only very recently. And recently, we
- 3:30Speaker 4: don't know what that means. A month, a few weeks,
- 3:33Speaker 4: two months. I truly think, and I've said this theory,
- 3:37Speaker 4: but I say it again, I think something was going
- 3:40Speaker 4: on at Coachella, whether it was flirtiness or some sparks
- 3:45Speaker 4: or full-blown affair, I don't know, which is April of
- 3:48Speaker 4: this past year, in which some fan had given to
- 3:52Speaker 4: Dumas or whoever, and then the rumor went like wildfire
- 3:56Speaker 4: that Raquel was seen kissing Schwartz. We know now Schwartz
- 3:59Speaker 4: was not at Coachella, but Sandoval was, and there's now
- 4:05Speaker 4: images of Raquel on Sandoval's shoulders. There's an old episode
- 4:10Speaker 4: of where Ariana says how they first fell in love
- 4:14Speaker 4: and went to Coachella together. And she knew it was
- 4:16Speaker 4: special when Sandoval said, here, get on my shoulders. Like
- 4:21Speaker 4: it is just, so I think someone saw the two
- 4:24Speaker 4: of them kiss, mixed up the last names as I
- 4:26Speaker 4: often do. And then I think Sandoval kind of said,
- 4:31Speaker 4: you know, since this is the narrative that's floating around
- 4:34Speaker 4: the fans that you got together with Schwartz, now that
- 4:37Speaker 4: we're filming and it's summertime, why don't you pursue Schwartz?
- 4:42Speaker 4: And then I think he told Schwartz, which Schwartz has
- 4:44Speaker 4: also said in an interview, Sandoval made me make out
- 4:47Speaker 4: with her. And I think Schwartz was just hoodwinked for
- 4:51Speaker 4: a while. And so I think he's devastated. They caught
- 4:54Speaker 4: him at the airport and he said, you know, he's
- 4:58Speaker 4: careful about what he's saying. And they said, how do you,
- 5:00Speaker 4: how do you think Sandoval's feeling? And he's like, I
- 5:02Speaker 4: think he's feeling like a piece of shit as he should.
- 5:05Speaker 4: And they were both scheduled to go on Winterhouse.
- 5:09Speaker 2: It is my opinion.
- 5:10Speaker 4: And I believe that Schwartz is going to Winterhouse and
- 5:14Speaker 4: Sandoval is not. And this is just all me talking
- 5:17Speaker 4: as someone who's just, you know, in seeing stuff. Okay.
- 5:22Speaker 2: So don't hold me to it.
- 5:23Speaker 4: And so anyway, it was Everyone had fun.
- 5:27Speaker 2: It was about the kids. It was really fun.
- 5:29Speaker 4: And what was also really great is that Ocean's sisters
- 5:33Speaker 4: were there. And so was Amber, who is He Who
- 5:37Speaker 4: Shall Not Be Named's first wife. So these are Ocean's
- 5:42Speaker 4: sisters and they were there. And here's a photo of
- 5:46Speaker 4: Amber and Lala and all three girls. And they were
- 5:49Speaker 4: so cute and playing with ocean. So it was really,
- 5:52Speaker 4: really fun to watch that. It was just very low
- 5:54Speaker 4: key and all the people in her life that matter.
- 5:57Speaker 4: So I was really happy to be there. I love
- 5:59Speaker 4: that kind of stuff.
- 6:00Speaker 2: And, um, it was really fun. So then the next day, um, okay,
- 6:06Speaker 2: let's see.
- 6:07Speaker 4: So the next day I went to the Beverly Hills
- 6:09Speaker 4: hotel because Jill Zarin was staying at the Beverly Hills
- 6:12Speaker 4: hotel because she got invited to to these Oscar parties, which.
- 6:16Speaker 2: You're going to hear all about.
- 6:18Speaker 4: So I tried to wear an outfit that worked with
- 6:20Speaker 4: the pink and green aesthetic of the Beverly Hills Hotel.
- 6:24Speaker 4: And here I am looking cute. So that was really fun.
- 6:29Speaker 4: Then I read that Cher, who is dating A.E. He,
- 6:34Speaker 4: of course, is Amber Rose's former boyfriend and father of
- 6:39Speaker 4: her second child.
- 6:40Speaker 2: They have been dating. There's a 40-year age difference, I think. Yeah,
- 6:43Speaker 2: 40 years.
- 6:44Speaker 4: And people are saying that Cher's $ 360 million fortune is
- 6:48Speaker 4: dwindling as she, 76-year-old, splurges on the boy toy AE,
- 6:53Speaker 4: friends claim. Well, obviously, I'm very close to them because
- 6:57Speaker 4: then Cher lent me her Oscar outfit. And Peter and
- 7:01Speaker 4: I went to the Oscars that night. I thank God
- 7:04Speaker 4: I've been dieting and I could wear this outfit. No,
- 7:08Speaker 4: this is a great girl named Heather Fakes It, and
- 7:11Speaker 4: she does really great, fun photoshopping for me. Unfortunately, I
- 7:15Speaker 4: did not get to go to the Oscars, but I
- 7:17Speaker 4: came home and watched them. And then as you're going
- 7:20Speaker 4: to hear, it gets the scoop from Jill, who was
- 7:23Speaker 4: in the thick of it. So let's just do some fashion.
- 7:26Speaker 4: I absolutely loved, loved Halle Bailey, who is the new princess.
- 7:34Speaker 2: She is Ariel. I loved her dress.
- 7:37Speaker 4: She's a young, beautiful girl, and she wore such a
- 7:39Speaker 4: gorgeous blue flowy dress. It was perfect for her persona
- 7:44Speaker 4: as a princess and it was perfect for her age
- 7:46Speaker 4: and she looks stunning and it was modern, but not
- 7:50Speaker 4: showing too much. There's a lot of cutouts and a
- 7:52Speaker 4: lot of see-through, which I was not a fan of.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. Well, killing it was Cara Delevingne, who.
- 8:00Speaker 4: Is a model and she's beautiful, but remember we saw
- 8:03Speaker 4: her like strung out and people were worried about her.
- 8:05Speaker 4: She has admitted that she was struggling with drugs and
- 8:08Speaker 4: alcohol and And it looks like she is doing so
- 8:11Speaker 4: much better. And she wore the kind of Oscar dress
- 8:14Speaker 4: that I would want to wear.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Stunning red, one great leg.
- 8:20Speaker 4: If you've got a great leg, one or two, but
- 8:22Speaker 4: you only need one.
- 8:24Speaker 2: She stuck it out.
- 8:25Speaker 4: I love that she did a red strappy sandal with
- 8:28Speaker 4: it and jewels and like one sleeve. So it was
- 8:31Speaker 4: flowy and it was big, but it was not overwhelming.
- 8:34Speaker 4: And of course she's stunning. So she looked, and I
- 8:35Speaker 4: love that there was a pocket involved.
- 8:37Speaker 2: So great. This was awful. Florence Pugh from Don't Worry Darling.
- 8:45Speaker 2: The worst.
- 8:46Speaker 4: Basically, she wore black shorts with pockets like that you'd,
- 8:49Speaker 4: you know, get from Alice and Olivia or whatever, like
- 8:51Speaker 4: real short shorts. And then put it with some like
- 8:54Speaker 4: high black platform pumps and then took like her duvet
- 9:00Speaker 4: cover off of her bed and took the blanket out
- 9:02Speaker 4: of it and then wrapped it around herself.
- 9:05Speaker 2: And then when she presented, she made sure she had
- 9:07Speaker 2: her hand in her pocket. It was really weird. And again,
- 9:10Speaker 2: I'm sorry. Your legs aren't that great. We didn't.
- 9:13Speaker 3: Sorry.
- 9:13Speaker 2: They're fine. They're fine. You have a gorgeous face.
- 9:17Speaker 4: But if your leg is not like your greatest asset
- 9:20Speaker 4: on your body, I don't think we have to see
- 9:22Speaker 4: an Oscar night. I think what's great about a big,
- 9:25Speaker 4: fancy red carpet is that, you know, you show off
- 9:29Speaker 4: the parts that are great.
- 9:31Speaker 2: It's not bad. It's just not your best. You compare
- 9:35Speaker 2: the legs.
- 9:37Speaker 4: Okay, there's Kara's leg, and then there's her leg. We
- 9:40Speaker 4: didn't need to see your leg. Then we have Ashley Graham,
- 9:43Speaker 4: who is a gorgeous model. She was interviewing on the
- 9:47Speaker 4: red carpet, which I'll get into.
- 9:49Speaker 2: She did really well.
- 9:51Speaker 4: This picture is really cool from page six, but again,
- 9:54Speaker 4: I did not like this outfit that much. Too many cutouts,
- 9:57Speaker 4: and she did the trend that everyone's doing where you
- 9:59Speaker 4: just wear like a pair of black underwear and it's sheer,
- 10:02Speaker 4: like what you'd wear at the pool.
- 10:04Speaker 2: I'm not into it.
- 10:06Speaker 4: No matter what your body type is, I don't think
- 10:09Speaker 4: this is a look for the red carpet. But she
- 10:11Speaker 4: did really well in her interviewing, especially because she had
- 10:16Speaker 4: to interview a Hugh Grant. And it was so awkward
- 10:21Speaker 4: and cringy. I saw it and I just, she was
- 10:23Speaker 4: trying so hard. So he comes up, now listen, like
- 10:27Speaker 4: she's probably got an earbud in too. So she's probably
- 10:30Speaker 4: getting some help from a producer. But if he comes
- 10:33Speaker 4: with a mic given from the, like he's ready to talk, right?
- 10:36Speaker 2: So she's doing all she's supposed to do.
- 10:38Speaker 4: So she says, Hugh Grant, you're a veteran of the
- 10:41Speaker 4: Oscars and you've been here a few times. What's your
- 10:43Speaker 4: favorite thing about coming to the Oscars? And he's like,
- 10:46Speaker 4: already annoyed.
- 10:47Speaker 2: All right.
- 10:48Speaker 4: And he's like, uh, well, it's fascinating. The whole humanity
- 10:51Speaker 4: is here. It's Vanity Fair.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Okay. Like, like he's like, who doesn't get to go here?
- 10:58Speaker 4: Well, a lot of people don't. So then she says,
- 11:01Speaker 4: what are you most excited to see the night? Are
- 11:03Speaker 4: you excited to see anyone win? Your hopes up for anyone? No,
- 11:08Speaker 4: no one in particular. Anyone that's ever taken an improv class,
- 11:11Speaker 4: this guy would fail it. It's like this is the
- 11:14Speaker 4: opposite of yes and add some information.
- 11:18Speaker 2: She goes on, keeps trying. Well, what are we wearing
- 11:21Speaker 2: tonight then? Grant, just my suit. Your suit? Well, who
- 11:26Speaker 2: made it? You didn't make it. She's trying so hard.
- 11:30Speaker 2: My tailor.
- 11:32Speaker 5: All right.
- 11:32Speaker 2: At this point, I'd be like, all right, fucker, you
- 11:34Speaker 2: go have fun. But she keeps trying. Shout out to
- 11:37Speaker 2: the tailor.
- 11:38Speaker 4: What does it feel like to be in Glass Onion?
- 11:41Speaker 4: It was such an amazing film. I really loved it.
- 11:43Speaker 4: I loved a thriller.
- 11:44Speaker 2: How fun is it to shoot something like that?
- 11:48Speaker 5: Grant.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Well, I'm barely in it. I'm in it for about
- 11:51Speaker 2: three seconds. Okay, bitter Betty. Like, really?
- 11:55Speaker 4: Then she goes on. But still, you showed up and
- 11:57Speaker 4: you had fun, right? And he's like, ugh, almost.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Thank God. She's like, well, you go have a good time.
- 12:03Speaker 4: I mean.
- 12:05Speaker 4: I loved the moment because it was awkward and she
- 12:08Speaker 4: just kept going. So she can do she should do
- 12:11Speaker 4: the red carpet every year for the Oscars.
- 12:13Speaker 2: She did a great job. Just wasn't in love with
- 12:15Speaker 2: the dress.
- 12:16Speaker 4: OK, so moving on. I didn't love Jennifer Connelly's dress. She,
- 12:20Speaker 4: of course, is in Top Gun. It's almost like she
- 12:23Speaker 4: had this black strapless dress, not strapless, but it was
- 12:26Speaker 4: like a bar that went like across the boobs and
- 12:29Speaker 4: over the arms. And then she just added like a
- 12:32Speaker 4: piece of cardboard with some jewels on it.
- 12:34Speaker 2: I thought it was weird. Sorry, I thought it was weird.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Now, Mindy Kaling has really had a glow up and
- 12:42Speaker 4: she looks absolutely gorgeous. She's lost a lot of weight.
- 12:45Speaker 4: We don't know how she lost the weight. And her
- 12:49Speaker 4: face is like definitely better than what it was on
- 12:53Speaker 4: The Office. And I'm reading some of the comments and
- 12:56Speaker 4: people are just like kind of, there's a lot of
- 12:58Speaker 4: people that are just not thrilled.
- 13:00Speaker 2: That this girl is now gorgeous. And I just want
- 13:04Speaker 2: to say, I am.
- 13:05Speaker 4: Because Mindy Kaling is super talented, super funny, really nice.
- 13:10Speaker 4: And she had a glow up. Like, you know, there's
- 13:13Speaker 4: a lot of people that are gorgeous from the time
- 13:16Speaker 4: they were born and have style and everything. And they
- 13:19Speaker 4: become rich because they are gorgeous and people hand them
- 13:21Speaker 4: stuff and they get married or whatever.
- 13:24Speaker 2: They marry rich and they.
- 13:26Speaker 3: So.
- 13:26Speaker 4: What's wrong with being so successful and rich that you
- 13:30Speaker 4: can also help buy some of the glow up and
- 13:34Speaker 4: the beauty? So I'm saying, look, has she had some
- 13:37Speaker 4: work done?
- 13:37Speaker 3: Yes.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Has she lost some weight? We don't know how. Who cares?
- 13:41Speaker 2: She deserves to enjoy her hard work.
- 13:44Speaker 4: And look freaking hot and have this time as a
- 13:48Speaker 4: young mother who is rocking abs everywhere. and cheekbones and
- 13:52Speaker 4: lips and a better nose and all of it. And
- 13:54Speaker 4: I'm all here for it. The one thing I'm not
- 13:56Speaker 4: here for is that she got to wear two outfits,
- 13:59Speaker 4: one on the red carpet where she wore white, which
- 14:01Speaker 4: I thought looked stunning on her. And then she did
- 14:03Speaker 4: the exact same dress in black, the exact same cutout style.
- 14:08Speaker 4: And I just kind of was like, I don't know, girl,
- 14:12Speaker 4: like you should have done a different one.
- 14:14Speaker 2: That's my opinion, but she looks good. This girl, what
- 14:18Speaker 2: is her name?
- 14:18Speaker 6: 10.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Tem, Tem, T-E-M.
- 14:22Speaker 4: And she sang the movie, she sang the song in
- 14:26Speaker 4: Black Panther. And she is a stunning girl as well
- 14:30Speaker 4: as really being a great singer. But she had this
- 14:32Speaker 4: like big white outfit on and it kind of came
- 14:34Speaker 4: up behind her head, not a hat, but like a
- 14:37Speaker 4: collar that went all the way up to over her head.
- 14:41Speaker 4: And then she sat in the audience all night. She
- 14:43Speaker 4: didn't change her outfit. And this would have been when
- 14:45Speaker 4: I would have said, what would have worked is if
- 14:50Speaker 4: it was like a removable thing or something, or you
- 14:53Speaker 4: had a whole nother dress for the show, like change
- 14:55Speaker 4: with your brother. Because people were definitely talking about, hate
- 14:59Speaker 4: to be the father next to Tebbs in the Oscar
- 15:01Speaker 4: audience fighting for his life.
- 15:03Speaker 2: So they hate to be the brother next to him.
- 15:05Speaker 4: So one person next to her couldn't see, the person,
- 15:08Speaker 4: a couple of people behind her couldn't see. You definitely
- 15:12Speaker 4: weren't thinking about sitting there. Jimmy Kimmel then did his opening,
- 15:17Speaker 4: which I thought was really, really good. There were some
- 15:20Speaker 4: edgy moments. He brought up Will Smith. He brought up L.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Ron Hubbard.
- 15:25Speaker 4: He talked about how Tom Cruise and James Cameron didn't come,
- 15:28Speaker 4: even though they begged people to come to the movie
- 15:30Speaker 4: theaters and then they couldn't sit through a three and
- 15:32Speaker 4: a half hour show. But the reason Tom Cruise wasn't
- 15:35Speaker 4: there is that he is doing Mission Impossible 8 overseas.
- 15:40Speaker 2: I still think if you wanted to come, It's Mission
- 15:44Speaker 2: Impossible 8. You're the star. You're the producer.
- 15:46Speaker 4: You could have said, for these four days, we're going
- 15:48Speaker 4: to shut down production so I can go to the Oscars.
- 15:51Speaker 4: He just didn't want to go. He doesn't care, and
- 15:53Speaker 4: he didn't want to go for whatever reason. Maybe because,
- 15:56Speaker 4: you know, he didn't want to be in any weird situation.
- 15:59Speaker 4: Nicole Kidman was there, his ex, too. Not that there's
- 16:02Speaker 4: any weirdness between them, but I think there probably is. So...
- 16:06Speaker 4: I thought he did a really good job. However, there
- 16:08Speaker 4: really wasn't any other comedy throughout the rest of the night.
- 16:12Speaker 4: No presenters did any jokes. It was just his monologue,
- 16:16Speaker 4: which I think was really good writing, and he did
- 16:19Speaker 4: a good job. But other than that, however, the ratings
- 16:21Speaker 4: were up from last year and was the most of
- 16:26Speaker 4: all the award show season, which obviously it's the biggest one,
- 16:30Speaker 4: so it would be. So then Angela Bassett was up
- 16:34Speaker 4: against for Best Supporting Actress 2019.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Jamie Lee Curtis.
- 16:37Speaker 4: And when she did not win and the camera was
- 16:39Speaker 4: on her, she couldn't fight her disappointment, which I look, I,
- 16:45Speaker 4: I always thought it was so weird when I was
- 16:46Speaker 4: a little girl, how, how happy you had.
- 16:48Speaker 2: To be for that.
- 16:49Speaker 4: He deserved it. No, she wasn't happy. And she was like,
- 16:53Speaker 4: she did not like that. She always looks gorgeous. She
- 16:56Speaker 4: was in this purple color, Jamie Lee, who does kind
- 17:00Speaker 4: of bug me this award season, which I love that
- 17:03Speaker 4: SNL made fun of her on Saturday. Um, That Chloe,
- 17:06Speaker 4: who is such a brilliant impersonator on the show, did her.
- 17:11Speaker 4: And it's just like that enthusiasm and like, I am.
- 17:15Speaker 2: But I do believe she is that excited.
- 17:17Speaker 4: I don't need to see her on Real Housewives of
- 17:20Speaker 4: Beverly Hills anymore or anything like that. But I'm glad
- 17:22Speaker 4: she won. And her speech was very, very giving. She's like, everybody,
- 17:28Speaker 4: this is, we won an Oscar, all of the cast,
- 17:30Speaker 4: all of this, all of that. thanked her parents too,
- 17:33Speaker 4: recognizing she's a Nepo baby, recognizing her kids and her husband. So,
- 17:37Speaker 4: and she looked pretty. So I say, yes, she did well.
- 17:41Speaker 4: And then Michael B. Jordan and Jonathan Majors, they came
- 17:45Speaker 4: out to present. And the first thing they said was like, hi, auntie,
- 17:49Speaker 4: or something like that, kind of recognizing to Angela Bassett
- 17:53Speaker 4: that like, you should have won. And we're just going
- 17:57Speaker 4: to throw that out there. And that went, that was
- 17:59Speaker 4: viral and trending on Twitter. But God, my God, she
- 18:03Speaker 4: looks so good in this purple dress. Look, I mean,
- 18:06Speaker 4: she is just beyond stunning. And her necklace, oh, everything.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Okay.
- 18:13Speaker 4: Then this is when I was compelled to do a
- 18:16Speaker 4: TikTok and a reel and a stories. Not until this
- 18:19Speaker 4: point of watching the show by myself. So I saw
- 18:22Speaker 4: Lady Gaga come out on the red carpet and her
- 18:25Speaker 4: body's banging. And she wore this kind of interesting dress
- 18:28Speaker 4: that is basically showing the whole butt. So it's like
- 18:33Speaker 4: in the front, it's this black corset and sheerness. And
- 18:37Speaker 4: then it goes all the way just so you see
- 18:40Speaker 4: full like ass crack, but there is like a cover
- 18:42Speaker 4: of the ass crack.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Kind of weird in the back. And I'm showing it here. Very,
- 18:46Speaker 2: very weird. It's almost like, you know, when.
- 18:49Speaker 4: Guys wear their pants like past their butt cheeks. But
- 18:53Speaker 4: her body's banging and she looked gorgeous. And she had
- 18:55Speaker 4: a full, full face of makeup and her hair back
- 18:58Speaker 4: in a French braid. So then she comes to sing
- 19:00Speaker 4: this song and she's wearing a black t-shirt and ripped
- 19:04Speaker 4: jeans and she's got her band and she does great
- 19:06Speaker 4: speech about like being your own hero. And then I'm like, oh,
- 19:11Speaker 4: first of all, she is stunning.
- 19:13Speaker 2: She looks great. She has beautiful skin.
- 19:15Speaker 4: She completely washed off her makeup. I mean, washed off
- 19:19Speaker 4: every eyelash, didn't even do a tint and moisturizer, had
- 19:23Speaker 4: like chapped lips, didn't even do like a Vaseline.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Okay. Just complete raw.
- 19:28Speaker 4: And all I'm just thinking about is, like, you were
- 19:29Speaker 4: just in the audience during the Jimmy Kimmel.
- 19:31Speaker 2: You had to run.
- 19:32Speaker 4: And everyone's like, what makeup wipes did you use? Because
- 19:35Speaker 4: it usually takes me... If I do a full face
- 19:38Speaker 4: of makeup, I wash off my face. Then I do
- 19:41Speaker 4: a wipe. Then I do, like, another, like, little other wipe.
- 19:45Speaker 4: And I'm still getting makeup off. So, I mean, it
- 19:47Speaker 4: took a lot to get it off.
- 19:49Speaker 6: And.
- 19:50Speaker 4: I thought she looked great. I just thought it was
- 19:51Speaker 4: really brave and really different. And it totally makes sense.
- 19:54Speaker 4: Because in the past, when she's performed, like, I think
- 19:57Speaker 4: she performed when Star is Born was up. You know,
- 20:02Speaker 4: she had her big, gorgeous gown. She was all done up.
- 20:05Speaker 4: And so... however she felt to choose this of like,
- 20:08Speaker 4: this doesn't, I want this song to be this, or
- 20:10Speaker 4: I really want to show this gritty side of me,
- 20:12Speaker 4: or it's kind of great because everyone got to see
- 20:15Speaker 4: you drop dead gorgeous for this. And then we get
- 20:18Speaker 4: to see you in this like rock and roll raw way. However,
- 20:23Speaker 4: I would not take off that beat face that took
- 20:26Speaker 4: three hours. And I'm the first to admit that I wouldn't.
- 20:28Speaker 4: So kudos to you, girl. Um, yeah, here you can
- 20:32Speaker 4: see her makeup and everything.
- 20:33Speaker 2: So Um, okay.
- 20:35Speaker 4: Then Kate Chastain looks stunning with her long red hair
- 20:38Speaker 4: and her dress. And Halle Berry came out to present, um,
- 20:42Speaker 4: for best actress. And I did not like Halle Berry's hair.
- 20:48Speaker 4: It was like covering her eye and she has a
- 20:49Speaker 4: perfect face. So I never want to see anything cover
- 20:51Speaker 4: your face and her body is banging and she does
- 20:55Speaker 4: have a great leg, but again, it was cutouts.
- 20:58Speaker 2: And then it was like this white outfit.
- 21:00Speaker 4: And then it just felt like someone went to Michael's
- 21:02Speaker 4: and just threw some flowers in some random places that
- 21:05Speaker 4: weren't meant to be there. So not my favorite Halle
- 21:09Speaker 4: Berry look, but it was really beautiful that.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Michelle Yeoh won for Everything Everywhere.
- 21:17Speaker 4: That was nominated 11 times, won seven Oscars, Best Supporting Actress,
- 21:24Speaker 4: Best Supporting Actor, and Best Actress. I think for screenplay,
- 21:29Speaker 4: it was... I did not see it. A few of
- 21:31Speaker 4: my friends said they couldn't get into it. But Brandon,
- 21:34Speaker 4: my 17 year old, loved it. He watched it on
- 21:36Speaker 4: the plane ride from our Christmas vacation. And so I
- 21:40Speaker 4: do think what's kind of cool is now I do
- 21:42Speaker 4: want to go back and watch it. And I think
- 21:45Speaker 4: that it is kind of for a younger generation, which
- 21:48Speaker 4: is what some movies need to be catering more to,
- 21:50Speaker 4: to get people like extra interested in it.
- 21:52Speaker 2: So it was great. And of course, she's an Asian woman.
- 21:56Speaker 2: She is an older woman. She's an immigrant. And like,
- 21:58Speaker 2: I think That was really special.
- 22:00Speaker 4: And what I loved is at the end of her speech,
- 22:02Speaker 4: she said to all the women out there, don't let
- 22:05Speaker 4: anyone tell you that you're past your prime, which I
- 22:09Speaker 4: don't know what's going on with Don Lemon, but let's
- 22:13Speaker 4: just all remember.
- 22:14Speaker 2: That he's a huge dick, okay?
- 22:17Speaker 4: He's just not a fan of him anymore. So she
- 22:20Speaker 4: did wonderful and people were cheering for her and she's beautiful.
- 22:24Speaker 4: Nicole Kidman looked absolutely gorgeous and she was making out
- 22:28Speaker 4: with Keith. urban all over and was unapologetic about it. Um,
- 22:33Speaker 4: good for them. I mean, you know, they, they're making
- 22:38Speaker 4: it work. They've been married a long time. So, but
- 22:40Speaker 4: it was a little weird, the makeouts, a lot of
- 22:43Speaker 4: see-through stuff. I'm just going to go through all these girls. Um,
- 22:47Speaker 4: this girl, I mean, full VAD showing, I mean, she
- 22:49Speaker 4: has a nude like Spanx underneath, but like, it's a
- 22:52Speaker 4: lot of nakedness, a lot of naked dresses, a lot
- 22:54Speaker 4: of sheer dresses.
- 22:56Speaker 2: And not with just.
- 22:57Speaker 4: Like a bikini top and almost like half your dress
- 23:00Speaker 4: is missing.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Who's this chick again? Olivia Wilde. I mean, I don't know.
- 23:04Speaker 4: I mean, listen, people want to be talked about. So
- 23:07Speaker 4: just a lot of sheer stuff.
- 23:08Speaker 2: That I'm not into. Full ass out.
- 23:10Speaker 4: Oh, by the way, I just saw page six was
- 23:14Speaker 4: following Blac Chyna. And Blac Chyna is at a plastic
- 23:17Speaker 4: surgeon's office right now to get her butt taken down.
- 23:22Speaker 2: And she said.
- 23:23Speaker 4: This is not a product of a BBL. A BBL
- 23:26Speaker 4: is where you get your own fat removed from parts
- 23:30Speaker 4: of your body you don't want and put in your ass.
- 23:32Speaker 4: She got silicone filler in her ass starting at 19.
- 23:38Speaker 4: And she's going into a new direction, a smaller ass direction.
- 23:43Speaker 2: And she is getting that removed.
- 23:44Speaker 4: And she highly recommends that you do not do filler
- 23:47Speaker 4: in your ass, only your own fat in your ass.
- 23:51Speaker 4: So that's a public service announcement.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Thank you. Black China.
- 23:54Speaker 5: Okay.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Okay.
- 23:55Speaker 4: So now here is my interview with Jill Zarin. I
- 23:59Speaker 4: had to get her on the phone as she's heading
- 24:02Speaker 4: to LAX to go home to New York. But if
- 24:05Speaker 4: you're watching this on YouTube, which I hope you are,
- 24:07Speaker 4: we have photos of all, everything that we covered, as
- 24:11Speaker 4: well as what Jill and I are going to cover.
- 24:12Speaker 4: You're going to see all her photos and different outfits
- 24:15Speaker 4: that we discuss. So please subscribe to YouTube, subscribe and share.
- 24:20Speaker 4: Just go to YouTube, type in Juicy Scoop or Heather MacDonald.
- 24:23Speaker 4: Follow me there.
- 24:25Speaker 2: And thank you.
- 24:26Speaker 4: And let's listen to more of the Juicy Scoop from
- 24:29Speaker 4: The Biggest Night in Hollywood with Jill Zara.
- 24:31Speaker 2: The car is beautiful. Where did you end up going
- 24:34Speaker 2: for it? This exclusive place that Dad has connections with.
- 24:38Speaker 2: They have more cars for more dealerships than like anywhere else.
- 24:40Speaker 2: You have to put me in touch. What's it called?
- 24:42Speaker 2: It's Dune ADL.
- 24:45Speaker 6: Where?
- 24:46Speaker 2: Dune ADL. There's an accent on the E. Do you mean.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Yes, I got it on Dundale Cars.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Lift, please. Are you going past Kimmage? Oh, Kimmage.
- 24:57Speaker 6: No.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Dundale Cars. You couldn't possibly go anywhere else.
- 25:02Speaker 6: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 25:05Speaker 6: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 25:08Speaker 6: have faced tremendous setbacks and yet somehow have found a
- 25:12Speaker 6: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 25:15Speaker 3: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 25:18Speaker 4: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 25:21Speaker 4: filed against me.
- 25:22Speaker 5: When your free will was about to be taken from you,
- 25:24Speaker 5: what would you do if it was given back?
- 25:26Speaker 6: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 25:29Speaker 6: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 25:32Speaker 5: He said, I have a work dad. I need a
- 25:33Speaker 5: home dad. What happens next? When I came in, he
- 25:36Speaker 5: started crying.
- 25:36Speaker 6: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 25:41Speaker 6: those hard moments that they go through.
- 25:43Speaker 5: It's about what happens next.
- 25:45Speaker 2: I decided to risk it all.
- 25:46Speaker 3: I realized how valuable every day was.
- 25:48Speaker 5: You're worth the work. Listen, Dara, I'm not going to
- 25:50Speaker 5: pull punches.
- 25:51Speaker 2: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 25:53Speaker 6: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 25:57Speaker 6: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 26:08Speaker 4: Jel Zarin, fresh from the Oscars, the 95th Oscars. Girl,
- 26:14Speaker 4: we were together at the Beverly Hills Hotel while you
- 26:16Speaker 4: were getting ready. I told you to do your hair
- 26:20Speaker 4: up like Pamela Anderson. It looked really good.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Amazing.
- 26:24Speaker 3: He did a great job. I would totally give you
- 26:26Speaker 3: his phone number if you need him. He's amazing.
- 26:29Speaker 4: Okay, so tell us a little bit how you got
- 26:31Speaker 4: invited to the party, what party you went to, when
- 26:33Speaker 4: you left.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Just go for it.
- 26:35Speaker 3: Okay. So some friends of mine from Texas invited us
- 26:39Speaker 3: to the Elton John party. They're big donors, and they
- 26:43Speaker 3: actually put the best table in the room. There's probably
- 26:47Speaker 3: like 1,000 people there. I don't know how many tables
- 26:49Speaker 3: and sections. We were literally in front of the microphone,
- 26:53Speaker 3: like literally the first table in front of the stage.
- 26:56Speaker 3: Behind us was everybody else, like Book Shield was behind us.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Not that it was a bad table. It was just
- 27:02Speaker 3: a lazy table. And Heidi Klum was at her table
- 27:04Speaker 3: behind us. It was the thickest table. So that's like
- 27:06Speaker 3: how you start the night. Okay, wait.
- 27:08Speaker 2: So I just, I just, wait, I just want to
- 27:10Speaker 2: be clear for the people.
- 27:12Speaker 4: So you were with the Sutton of the night who
- 27:16Speaker 4: bought the table cause she's a big donor and you
- 27:19Speaker 4: Jill's there to a housewife are, are not going to
- 27:22Speaker 4: say that Elton John personally invited you or that you paid, correct?
- 27:27Speaker 3: I did not pay. I paid compliments and I paid thanks. Okay.
- 27:33Speaker 4: So you leave the Beverly Hills Hotel with your friends,
- 27:36Speaker 4: you go in a big car, and you go to
- 27:39Speaker 4: where is the.
- 27:39Speaker 3: The biggest car. They have this fancy, like the fanciest,
- 27:44Speaker 3: what do they call them? Not an Escalade. They're bigger.
- 27:47Speaker 3: What do they call them?
- 27:49Speaker 4: It's fine.
- 27:50Speaker 3: Anyway, the big car that has TVs and all this stuff.
- 27:54Speaker 2: And did you bring your dog, Bossy?
- 27:57Speaker 3: You know what? I did not. I know. I know.
- 28:00Speaker 2: No, I'm not.
- 28:01Speaker 4: I think, I think it's appropriate that the dog did
- 28:04Speaker 4: not come.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Okay.
- 28:06Speaker 4: So you, um, you have to leave at three and
- 28:10Speaker 4: where do you, where does it drop you off at
- 28:13Speaker 4: the dinner at the, at the party where you now
- 28:16Speaker 4: are going to watch the Oscars on a big screen
- 28:18Speaker 4: and have dinner?
- 28:19Speaker 5: Okay.
- 28:19Speaker 4: Correct.
- 28:20Speaker 3: So it's in West Hollywood. Don't ask me where, but
- 28:22Speaker 3: it was like a parking lot that they turned into
- 28:24Speaker 3: a big tented thing. So it wasn't a building. It
- 28:27Speaker 3: was literally a built building out of tents. And there
- 28:29Speaker 3: were multiple tents. Okay.
- 28:31Speaker 2: So you get out of the car, you do, you
- 28:33Speaker 2: do the red carpet first.
- 28:35Speaker 3: Do the, uh, pretty long red carpet. You know, no, no,
- 28:38Speaker 3: actually there was a step and repeat, a short step
- 28:40Speaker 3: and repeat. And then there was a long red carpet.
- 28:43Speaker 3: So I did both and it was great. I did
- 28:45Speaker 3: some interviews with E and, and some other, you know, outlets. Um,
- 28:49Speaker 3: but listen, I, I'm not the star there, right? First
- 28:52Speaker 3: of all, I'm not a star at all, but, It's
- 28:54Speaker 3: not TV. This is movies. This is the Oscars. So
- 28:57Speaker 3: they're looking for the people who'll be nominated or former
- 29:00Speaker 3: winners and things like that.
- 29:01Speaker 2: Yeah, but nobody at three.
- 29:02Speaker 3: So if anybody even interviewed me, I was flattered.
- 29:05Speaker 4: So there were some former, like, Oscar people there, but
- 29:08Speaker 4: obviously they didn't. Because I would think if I was
- 29:11Speaker 4: not being nominated and it had been a long time
- 29:14Speaker 4: or whatever, I would rather go to something like this
- 29:17Speaker 4: and enjoy watching the show than being stuck in the
- 29:19Speaker 4: Dolby Theater.
- 29:20Speaker 3: Well, I hate to tell you, you're not invited. In
- 29:23Speaker 3: other words, like somebody who's not nominated just because they
- 29:27Speaker 3: were nominated 10 years ago, they couldn't go if they
- 29:29Speaker 3: wanted to go.
- 29:30Speaker 6: Okay.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Well, I know I'm not invited.
- 29:33Speaker 3: No, no. Every seat in the Oscars has a reason.
- 29:36Speaker 3: And then most of it's people who are being nominated
- 29:38Speaker 3: and their families and tickets and sponsors and all this
- 29:41Speaker 3: other stuff. So listen, I'm sure if you're a winner,
- 29:44Speaker 3: all the winners get asked back to present. So there's
- 29:47Speaker 3: a lot of presenters there. But I mean, someone who
- 29:49Speaker 3: was on 20 years ago couldn't even go if they
- 29:51Speaker 3: wanted to go. But anyway, you wouldn't want to go.
- 29:54Speaker 3: Like I said, some of the, would you go to
- 29:56Speaker 3: the Oscars? Honestly, if I'm not nominated, why?
- 29:59Speaker 4: Okay, your dress that you borrowed was a gorgeous couture,
- 30:07Speaker 4: a completely beaded dress, but I held it and it
- 30:10Speaker 4: was about 30 pounds.
- 30:11Speaker 2: How was that on your body all night? How uncomfortable
- 30:13Speaker 2: were you?
- 30:14Speaker 3: You know what? I was fine, comfortable, fine, except it
- 30:17Speaker 3: started to bother me. I still have it. It looks
- 30:19Speaker 3: like I hung myself. I literally have a mark. I'll
- 30:22Speaker 3: show you a picture. I have a scab now forming
- 30:24Speaker 3: on my neck. It looks like I got choked by
- 30:27Speaker 3: a rope. Because the metal started to, I was on
- 30:29Speaker 3: it for eight hours. It started to hang on my shoulders,
- 30:31Speaker 3: my neck. It started to cut into me. But it
- 30:34Speaker 3: was heavy, but I was okay.
- 30:35Speaker 5: Okay.
- 30:36Speaker 3: I was okay. So you get it? Vanity Fair, I
- 30:39Speaker 3: had it with both my shoes. It's funny. There's a
- 30:41Speaker 3: picture going around the world of Daily Mail of the
- 30:44Speaker 3: winner of the supporting actor Oscar. And they have a
- 30:47Speaker 3: picture of him shoving down in an outboard for holding
- 30:50Speaker 3: the Oscar. And guess who's right behind him? Moi, with
- 30:54Speaker 3: my shoes off. And I didn't even know it. Like,
- 30:57Speaker 3: I'm not, it's not even a photobomb. I'm like, hey,
- 30:59Speaker 3: I'm here. But you know what you didn't?
- 31:02Speaker 2: You didn't wear your red Jimmy Choo shoes. I saw
- 31:05Speaker 2: you chose white.
- 31:06Speaker 3: Why? I didn't because I didn't want attention to the feet.
- 31:10Speaker 3: I wanted attention to the dress. Okay.
- 31:12Speaker 4: So you get into the place and what's happening first?
- 31:16Speaker 4: The cocktail hour walk around schmooze? Who do you talk to?
- 31:20Speaker 3: At the cocktail hour, there weren't too many celebrities. I
- 31:24Speaker 3: ran into Chris Schell. From selling Sunset. And I was
- 31:27Speaker 3: with her for a little while talking. Who else did
- 31:29Speaker 3: I meet in the beginning? Not many. So I got
- 31:33Speaker 3: some good pictures taken of me there. That was great.
- 31:34Speaker 3: And then Elton John has a glass, sunglass line. So
- 31:37Speaker 3: he had this like 360 thing. I don't want to
- 31:39Speaker 3: stand in line for it, but I see some people did.
- 31:41Speaker 3: And then that was about an hour, an hour and
- 31:43Speaker 3: a half. I probably got there too early, but we
- 31:44Speaker 3: didn't know. So we got there at, let's say, four
- 31:47Speaker 3: or whatever. We probably didn't have to get there until five.
- 31:49Speaker 3: I mean, it was no food. It was very little food.
- 31:52Speaker 3: I'm all about the food. I don't drink, but there's
- 31:54Speaker 3: no food.
- 31:55Speaker 4: So there's no past apps, but there was a sit
- 31:57Speaker 4: down dinner, right?
- 31:59Speaker 3: There were, but it was not, you know, easily found.
- 32:03Speaker 5: Okay.
- 32:03Speaker 3: I did fine, but not easy. Okay. But it was fine.
- 32:07Speaker 3: Then we go into the main room. And like I said,
- 32:09Speaker 3: there's a hundred tables, gigantic. And it's beautifully set up.
- 32:14Speaker 3: And they have, I took home like the, I can
- 32:18Speaker 3: send you pictures of it. I think I posted ticket
- 32:20Speaker 3: and the menu and the book and the whole thing.
- 32:23Speaker 3: And they had a hundred like TVs all around the
- 32:25Speaker 3: room and big screens so you could watch the Oscars.
- 32:27Speaker 3: And actually what was so nice is you could speak
- 32:30Speaker 3: during the Oscars. It was no problem. Nobody would shush you.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Okay.
- 32:33Speaker 4: So now you're at your great table. I saw that Kyle, Mauricio, Dorit,
- 32:41Speaker 4: what was happening at the Real Housewives?
- 32:42Speaker 3: This is what's interesting. What's very funny is they were
- 32:44Speaker 3: two front rows. Elton John was in the middle table.
- 32:48Speaker 3: And then on the other side of him was the
- 32:50Speaker 3: housewife's table. And it was Diana Jenkins sponsored the event.
- 32:55Speaker 3: She looked beautiful. I met her for the first time
- 32:57Speaker 3: in person. I asked her if she had a baby
- 32:59Speaker 3: because I hadn't followed up with her. And she did.
- 33:01Speaker 3: She had a baby. She had a little girl. Because
- 33:03Speaker 3: I think she was trying to have a baby the
- 33:05Speaker 3: last time we saw her, right?
- 33:06Speaker 4: No, I think she... Wait a minute. Can you look up, Annie,
- 33:10Speaker 4: what is Diana Jenkins' pregnancy thing? I think she got
- 33:13Speaker 4: pregnant with a second one.
- 33:16Speaker 2: I don't know. We're going to look it up. Anyway.
- 33:18Speaker 3: That's my point, right? You don't know either. You're the expert.
- 33:21Speaker 3: I don't know either. So I asked her. I hope
- 33:23Speaker 3: I wasn't putting my foot in my mouth because I
- 33:25Speaker 3: know she had had a miscarriage, I think. So I said,
- 33:28Speaker 3: did you have a baby? And she said, yes.
- 33:30Speaker 2: She had, okay.
- 33:31Speaker 4: She had a miscarriage since the baby that she had.
- 33:35Speaker 2: So maybe you shouldn't have asked. Anyway, who cares? It's okay.
- 33:37Speaker 3: No, anyway, it doesn't matter.
- 33:39Speaker 5: Okay.
- 33:39Speaker 3: The point is, she was so nice and so warm.
- 33:42Speaker 3: And I asked her, so listen, the host who brought me,
- 33:44Speaker 3: my friend Amber Louise, who Such a class act. Beautiful.
- 33:47Speaker 3: You met her yesterday. Looked absolutely drop dead in this
- 33:50Speaker 3: Gucci couture. Like God knows it was probably 30 grand.
- 33:53Speaker 3: I have no idea what it was, but it was
- 33:54Speaker 3: ridiculously beautiful. And I have to tell you, she was
- 33:57Speaker 3: the star of the room in terms of outfits. Like
- 34:00Speaker 3: everybody was looking at her and she wanted to meet celebrities.
- 34:02Speaker 3: Of course she did. So anybody we would meet or whatever,
- 34:05Speaker 3: she may be like, I've been, I've been looking at
- 34:07Speaker 3: your dress the whole night, you know, and it just
- 34:09Speaker 3: made her feel so good. I have to say, outfit
- 34:12Speaker 3: of the night goes to, okay, Lisa Rinna. In couture,
- 34:19Speaker 3: I forgot his name. Not Valentino.
- 34:22Speaker 2: I saw that outfit.
- 34:23Speaker 3: But Galeano, Galeano. I think it's Galeano, but don't kill
- 34:26Speaker 3: me if I'm wrong. It was the sickest thing. First
- 34:30Speaker 3: of all, her body is, I hate her. Her hair
- 34:34Speaker 3: is beautiful. I know they were doing something about her
- 34:36Speaker 3: hair in France. Her hair was gorgeous and thick and,
- 34:39Speaker 3: you know, gorgeous. And she gave me like the nicest compliment,
- 34:42Speaker 3: I have to tell you.
- 34:43Speaker 2: What did she say?
- 34:44Speaker 3: She was sitting down when I said hello. And she
- 34:46Speaker 3: said to her husband, Harry Hamlin, who's like, oh, my God, says,
- 34:50Speaker 3: this is Jill Zarin. She's the OG of the OG.
- 34:52Speaker 3: She said that. And I was like, I'm going to die.
- 34:55Speaker 3: And he gave me a big smile. And then she ended.
- 34:57Speaker 3: And then that's a plug, right? Then she says to him,
- 35:00Speaker 3: all our outdoor rugs are from her. And he's like, oh,
- 35:02Speaker 3: my God, I love those rugs. And I said, well,
- 35:04Speaker 3: if you need more, just call me. JillZarinRugs.com. I have
- 35:06Speaker 3: the rugs. It's the season. Anyway, she loved my rugs.
- 35:09Speaker 4: She had them on the show. I disagree with her.
- 35:13Speaker 4: I disagree with your opinion of her outfit. I thought,
- 35:17Speaker 4: I know it's probably couture and this and that. I
- 35:20Speaker 4: thought it was so confusing and weird because it looks
- 35:23Speaker 4: like you took... It looks like you took the dress
- 35:26Speaker 4: out of your closet and held it up against yourself
- 35:28Speaker 4: to see how it would look.
- 35:29Speaker 1: On a hanger.
- 35:30Speaker 2: So you saw, yeah.
- 35:30Speaker 3: That's what it was supposed to be.
- 35:32Speaker 2: I know it was supposed to be that.
- 35:33Speaker 3: I mean, that's for coutures, right?
- 35:35Speaker 2: That's something weird.
- 35:36Speaker 3: You know. All right.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Well, listen, she wants to be.
- 35:38Speaker 3: What are you going to wear at the Oscars? Sorry.
- 35:40Speaker 3: When would you wear that? When would you wear a
- 35:41Speaker 3: couture like that?
- 35:42Speaker 4: But the thing, she's smart because she wants to be
- 35:46Speaker 4: talked about. And if she just wore like a beautiful
- 35:48Speaker 4: black strapless dress that like where she looks stunning and beautiful,
- 35:52Speaker 4: no one would talk about it.
- 35:53Speaker 3: Like Kyle looks stunning and beautiful. I don't remember the dress.
- 35:56Speaker 3: Do you know what I mean? Like I'll never forget
- 35:58Speaker 3: what Lisa Rinna wore. And by the way, what you
- 36:00Speaker 3: don't see is the back. The back of her body,
- 36:03Speaker 3: it's completely naked. I don't know how it stayed on her.
- 36:06Speaker 3: I think the sleeves must keep it on. There was
- 36:08Speaker 3: nothing on her back from the top to the bottom
- 36:10Speaker 3: and the most gorgeous back.
- 36:12Speaker 2: I know, she doesn't have like any, no back fat.
- 36:14Speaker 3: Nothing, no body fat. But not bony. She's not bony.
- 36:18Speaker 3: It was like a perfect back. Her hands she had
- 36:20Speaker 3: in gloves and at the tips of the fingers were like,
- 36:23Speaker 3: you know when you knit, what are those metal things called?
- 36:27Speaker 2: Thumbnails.
- 36:27Speaker 3: You know, on all the fingers. It was like these
- 36:31Speaker 3: metal tips on the fingernails, on the fingers of the gloves.
- 36:34Speaker 3: And she showed it to me. She's like, look at
- 36:35Speaker 3: these gloves. It was just, you know, you wear it once.
- 36:38Speaker 2: So wait, so was... And who could wear that?
- 36:41Speaker 3: You could wear it. By the way, you could wear that.
- 36:42Speaker 5: I can tell.
- 36:43Speaker 3: Stop.
- 36:44Speaker 4: I have to get the questions out because I know
- 36:45Speaker 4: you have to catch a plane. So at Diana Jenkins' table,
- 36:49Speaker 4: it was Lisa Renna and Harry Hamlin, Kyle and Mauricio,
- 36:53Speaker 4: Dorit and PK.
- 36:54Speaker 2: Who else?
- 36:55Speaker 3: PK lost 30 pounds.
- 36:57Speaker 2: PK lost 30.
- 36:59Speaker 3: I mean, I asked him. He said 30.
- 37:03Speaker 4: Did you ask him if he's on the shots?
- 37:05Speaker 3: I did not. I would not be that rude.
- 37:08Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 37:09Speaker 3: I wouldn't be that rude.
- 37:11Speaker 2: Was that it? Was it tables of 10 or tables
- 37:13Speaker 2: of 8?
- 37:14Speaker 3: That was it. So it was, wait.
- 37:17Speaker 2: So Diane, Rina, Kyle, Doreen. There's got to be one more.
- 37:24Speaker 2: There's got to be one more.
- 37:25Speaker 3: Well, Diana, Lisa, Doreen, and Kyle, 8. 8 people.
- 37:31Speaker 2: But I thought it was tables of 10. Now hers
- 37:33Speaker 2: was a table of 8.
- 37:34Speaker 3: Well, their table was 8, yeah. Okay. Okay. And they
- 37:37Speaker 3: were next to Elton John's table, and Elton actually gave
- 37:39Speaker 3: her a shout-out on the stage.
- 37:42Speaker 4: Nice.
- 37:42Speaker 3: So they are clear. When she said that she's friends
- 37:44Speaker 3: with him, she's friends with him. Like, you know, some
- 37:47Speaker 3: people lie. She's not lying.
- 37:49Speaker 4: So who else did you talk to at that section
- 37:53Speaker 4: before the Oscars ended?
- 37:56Speaker 3: Okay, so Brooke Shields was sitting behind us, and she
- 37:59Speaker 3: was so sweet because my friend actually named her daughter
- 38:02Speaker 3: Brooke after Brooke Shields, which I thought was really sweet.
- 38:05Speaker 3: And she voted on me, which was in a sweet way.
- 38:07Speaker 3: She like stuck her tongue out in the picture I
- 38:08Speaker 3: took of me and Gary, like a selfie. She was
- 38:10Speaker 3: so cute. Oh, I went over to a viewer, a
- 38:13Speaker 3: white orchid, white, white, white, what?
- 38:15Speaker 2: White orchid, yeah.
- 38:17Speaker 3: White orchid fan, which I am. White locust.
- 38:21Speaker 2: Wait, wait, white lotus. White locust. No, White Lotus.
- 38:24Speaker 3: White Lotus, something. Michael Imperio from Sopranos. I went over
- 38:28Speaker 3: to say hello to him and he was standing with,
- 38:30Speaker 3: I don't know her name.
- 38:31Speaker 2: Right, the Italian manager. The Italian manager.
- 38:34Speaker 3: Correct. And I went over and said hello to her
- 38:36Speaker 3: and they could not have been nicer. And I asked
- 38:38Speaker 3: them if they know where the next show is and
- 38:40Speaker 3: they don't. I talked about the hotel. She said it
- 38:43Speaker 3: sold out for three years, you know, and it was
- 38:45Speaker 3: like amazing. They were so nice. I mean, listen, when
- 38:48Speaker 3: you're in an event like that, and as I was
- 38:49Speaker 3: trying to explain to Emily, is that the celebrities there
- 38:52Speaker 3: know they're being photographed. They have the hair and makeup on.
- 38:54Speaker 3: They expect it. They're okay with it. You don't have
- 38:57Speaker 3: to be, you know, shy. If you want to ask
- 38:59Speaker 3: for a picture, they're not going to be mad at you.
- 39:01Speaker 3: Heidi Klum could not have been nicer. People came over,
- 39:04Speaker 3: asked for a picture. She got up in her big
- 39:05Speaker 3: yellow thing. I can't even describe what it was. It
- 39:08Speaker 3: looked like a ray of sunshine. And she is such
- 39:10Speaker 3: a beauty. I was looking at her from my table. Like,
- 39:12Speaker 3: she's just so beautiful. Her nose is perfect. Every feature.
- 39:16Speaker 3: Who else was there? There's a famous actress sitting with
- 39:20Speaker 3: my friend named Lisa Waters, and she's the star of
- 39:22Speaker 3: a huge show.
- 39:24Speaker 2: Lisa Ann Walters of Abbott Elementary. yes i know her
- 39:31Speaker 2: that's it.
- 39:32Speaker 3: Right right exactly what do i say kindergarten.
- 39:34Speaker 2: It's fine okay okay anyone else get to.
- 39:37Speaker 3: The next party anybody else that stands out at that
- 39:39Speaker 3: party Not really that I remember. No, but a lot
- 39:43Speaker 3: of rich people because the bidding was going crazy. Like,
- 39:46Speaker 3: you know, $ 150, 000.
- 39:47Speaker 4: And what were they bidding on? What kind of stuff
- 39:50Speaker 4: gets donated to bid on?
- 39:51Speaker 3: So my friend bought, it was funny, two of my
- 39:53Speaker 3: friends were bidding against each other.
- 39:55Speaker 2: Okay, so then you go to the after party, which
- 39:58Speaker 2: is what?
- 40:00Speaker 3: Okay, well, I didn't stay for the after party. Oh,
- 40:02Speaker 3: so what happened was my friend, something that they bid on,
- 40:05Speaker 3: Last year went for $ 200, 000. Two tickets to the Vanity
- 40:08Speaker 3: Fair after party. Last year sold for $ 200, 000. And by
- 40:11Speaker 3: the way, you don't go there until 1030 because it's
- 40:14Speaker 3: already 10 o'clock. The Oscars are over. My friends bought it. $ 80, 000.
- 40:19Speaker 3: And my friend's husband, David, said he didn't want to
- 40:24Speaker 3: go and that she should go with me. And I'm like, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 40:27Speaker 3: I'm going to sleep. You know, I'm tired. You guys go.
- 40:30Speaker 3: And he wouldn't go. So I'm like, OK, force me.
- 40:32Speaker 3: I'm going to go to the battery fair party. So
- 40:34Speaker 3: I got my mind set off on not going to
- 40:36Speaker 3: sleep early. And we went.
- 40:38Speaker 2: Oh, my God, Heather, I went to the battery fair party.
- 40:40Speaker 4: So wait, so you bail on Gary and the rest
- 40:43Speaker 4: of the group, which I'm sure they didn't mind.
- 40:45Speaker 3: Oh, well, they went home. They went back to the hotel.
- 40:47Speaker 3: So you know what we missed? Whatever concert went on after,
- 40:50Speaker 3: I got to find out what happened. You can't be
- 40:52Speaker 3: in two places at once. But I wasn't the only
- 40:54Speaker 3: one who left. I ran into Donatella. Versace was there.
- 40:58Speaker 3: Brooke Shields was there. A lot of people from our
- 40:59Speaker 3: party went there. The celebrities went there. The non-celebrities didn't.
- 41:02Speaker 4: So what was at the Vanity Fair party?
- 41:04Speaker 6: Go.
- 41:05Speaker 3: Well, this is the difference between the two parties. Elton
- 41:07Speaker 3: John is very expensive, but you can go. You can
- 41:10Speaker 3: pay to go. You can pay to play. Vanity Fair,
- 41:12Speaker 3: you cannot pay to play. In this case, yes, $ 80, 000,
- 41:14Speaker 3: you got two tickets. But you cannot pay to play there.
- 41:17Speaker 3: I don't care how rich you are. Vanity Fair, if
- 41:19Speaker 3: you're not a celebrity, you're not A-list, you're not getting in.
- 41:22Speaker 3: And that's what makes the difference. Everybody there is somebody.
- 41:25Speaker 3: I walk in, Jeff Bezos, say hello. Walk right up
- 41:29Speaker 3: to him. Jeff, Jill Darren, Real Housewives. He knew exactly
- 41:32Speaker 3: who I was. He was with his beautiful girlfriend. Lauren Sanchez.
- 41:36Speaker 3: She had a huge ring on. Big smile. I talked
- 41:40Speaker 3: to him about a couple of business things that I
- 41:41Speaker 3: can't share and moved on. Then I ran into Steven Spielberg.
- 41:46Speaker 3: Went right up to him. Steven, I don't know if
- 41:47Speaker 3: you know me. Of course I know you. I said,
- 41:49Speaker 3: you know, I'm your neighbor. I live in State Harbor.
- 41:51Speaker 3: You're in East Hampton. We talked, I thanked him for
- 41:53Speaker 3: the Shoah Foundation, all the good he's doing for the
- 41:55Speaker 3: Jewish community and preserving the Holocaust memories. If you don't
- 41:58Speaker 3: know what Shoah is, look it up. The preservation of
- 42:01Speaker 3: the older people who are dying off the Holocaust survivors.
- 42:04Speaker 3: He recorded all of them over the last 20 years
- 42:07Speaker 3: so that there's a memory forever. He did it himself,
- 42:09Speaker 3: his own money. Unbelievable. I told him how much I
- 42:11Speaker 3: loved his movie and, you know, the story of his life.
- 42:13Speaker 3: It was great. Then I walked up to Elvis. I
- 42:16Speaker 3: don't know his real name. Elvis. Right. Who played Elvis.
- 42:20Speaker 2: Austin Butler.
- 42:20Speaker 3: So adorable. Took pictures with him. The best picture of
- 42:24Speaker 3: all is as I was starting to leave, the guy
- 42:26Speaker 3: who wants the best supporting actor for the Everything movie
- 42:29Speaker 3: was holding his Oscar. And he had a burger in
- 42:32Speaker 3: his hand. So he had a burger in one hand,
- 42:34Speaker 3: in his mouth practically, and holding the Oscar. I said,
- 42:36Speaker 3: don't move. I have to take a picture so you
- 42:38Speaker 3: can keep eating. I got a picture with him. But
- 42:41Speaker 3: then I didn't know somebody photobombed me behind him before
- 42:45Speaker 3: I went over to him, which is hysterical without my
- 42:47Speaker 3: shoes on. I literally took my shoes off when I
- 42:49Speaker 3: got there. I couldn't walk anymore. And my dress was
- 42:51Speaker 3: so heavy. Kate Hudson had a 10-minute conversation with her.
- 42:54Speaker 3: I ran into Kathy Hilton.
- 42:55Speaker 2: Wait, what was the Kate Hudson? Wait, what was the
- 42:58Speaker 2: Kate Hudson convo?
- 43:01Speaker 3: Okay, so the girlfriend I'm with, Amberlee, actually had lunch
- 43:04Speaker 3: with her mother the other day about a charity thing
- 43:07Speaker 3: that they're both working on. So we talked about that.
- 43:10Speaker 3: Because I said, you know, I said, Kate knows who
- 43:12Speaker 3: I am. I've met her before. I met her at
- 43:14Speaker 3: the Tiffany thing. I met her at a few things.
- 43:15Speaker 3: I said, Kate, I don't want to bother you, but
- 43:17Speaker 3: my friend Emily just had lunch with your mother yesterday.
- 43:19Speaker 3: And she was like, oh my God. And, you know,
- 43:20Speaker 3: it was like a beautiful thing. It was. And she,
- 43:22Speaker 3: I think that dress last night at Vanity Fair was
- 43:24Speaker 3: Kate Hudson in a pink. It wasn't, I thought it
- 43:27Speaker 3: was Valentino. It wasn't. She told me who it was
- 43:28Speaker 3: and I can't remember. A designer I didn't know.
- 43:31Speaker 4: Oh, so she, so she changed outfits because she was
- 43:33Speaker 4: wearing like a silver dress at the Oscars.
- 43:36Speaker 3: She changed. Yeah, I didn't like that dress. I didn't
- 43:38Speaker 3: like the silver dress.
- 43:38Speaker 2: It was whatever. It was fine.
- 43:39Speaker 3: She should have worn. No, she should have won the
- 43:41Speaker 3: Pink Dress. Whatever. She's dropped dead. It doesn't matter.
- 43:43Speaker 4: Okay, so then you see Kathy Hilton at Vanity Fair.
- 43:45Speaker 4: So were there any other housewives besides you and Kathy
- 43:48Speaker 4: Hilton at Vanity Fair?
- 43:49Speaker 3: No, and Kathy's not a housewife. According to Kathy, she's
- 43:52Speaker 3: not on the show right now.
- 43:54Speaker 2: That's what she said?
- 43:55Speaker 3: I don't know that. Yeah.
- 43:58Speaker 2: What else did she say?
- 43:59Speaker 3: I'm not saying that she won't be. About that, that's it.
- 44:03Speaker 3: Anything else I don't want to talk about. But yeah,
- 44:04Speaker 3: nothing else. But yeah, no. I mean, I don't think
- 44:06Speaker 3: it's a secret in that world. But yeah, she might
- 44:09Speaker 3: be on it, but I'm just saying right now.
- 44:10Speaker 2: Was Paris there?
- 44:13Speaker 3: Paris was not there when I did not see her
- 44:15Speaker 3: and I didn't see any pictures of her.
- 44:17Speaker 2: So who was Kathy with? Who was Kathy's plus one?
- 44:21Speaker 3: She was by herself when I saw her and I
- 44:22Speaker 3: spoke to her. And then when I ran into Nikki,
- 44:25Speaker 3: I said, I saw your mom. She goes, oh, where
- 44:27Speaker 3: is she?
- 44:27Speaker 2: And I told her, Oh, so Nikki was there. Nikki
- 44:29Speaker 2: was there, but not Paris. Or that's who you saw.
- 44:32Speaker 3: I ran into Bruce. I ran into Bruce. You know,
- 44:36Speaker 3: Andy Kong's best friend, Bruce. Buzzy.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Bruce Buzzy.
- 44:39Speaker 3: Buzzy, thank you. Mark Consuela was there. I didn't see Kelly.
- 44:44Speaker 3: Gus Three from Today Show. Savannah was there. She looked beautiful.
- 44:50Speaker 3: James Corwin was there. Jon Hamm was there. Rannan, Jon Voight, Dr. Hemsworth.
- 44:56Speaker 3: I mean, he's like the oldie but the goodie. I mean,
- 44:58Speaker 3: everybody was there. I mean, it was just, oh, Cardi
- 45:01Speaker 3: B and her funny story on the red carpet going
- 45:04Speaker 3: into the Vanity Fair. There's like a long line and
- 45:07Speaker 3: everybody's A-list. It doesn't matter. You wait in the line.
- 45:09Speaker 3: Once she's super A-list, you cut the line. But she's
- 45:11Speaker 3: super A-list and cuts the line. But I didn't know
- 45:13Speaker 3: who she was. So this girl in red comes up
- 45:16Speaker 3: and she's wearing like this kind of sheer mask over
- 45:18Speaker 3: her face. But she's with a guy who's wearing like
- 45:20Speaker 3: a real mask over his face, all of rhinestones. So
- 45:23Speaker 3: I look at her and I said, who is that?
- 45:25Speaker 3: And she smiles at me. Three steps later, she gets
- 45:27Speaker 3: on the red car out on the spot on the circle.
- 45:30Speaker 3: And they're all screaming, Cardi, Cardi. And I'm like, oh,
- 45:32Speaker 3: my God, that's Cardi B. I'm such an idiot. I
- 45:34Speaker 3: don't even know it.
- 45:35Speaker 2: Well, she's got a bunch of crystals on her face.
- 45:37Speaker 2: How would you know?
- 45:38Speaker 3: No, she didn't. The guy she was with did. And
- 45:41Speaker 3: I never found out who he was. I never found
- 45:43Speaker 3: that really rough.
- 45:44Speaker 4: So did you say, did you do the red carpet
- 45:47Speaker 4: for Vanity Fair as well?
- 45:49Speaker 3: I did, but I'm going to be honest, there weren't.
- 45:52Speaker 3: You know, I'm not, first of all, besides the fact
- 45:55Speaker 3: that I'm a housewife, love man on the totem pole,
- 45:59Speaker 3: I'm on TV. I'm not, you know what I mean?
- 46:01Speaker 3: Like this is movie stars. This is like the big time.
- 46:03Speaker 3: Like they're looking for the actual winner. Yeah.
- 46:05Speaker 2: But I'm still glad you did it.
- 46:06Speaker 4: I've been there too, where it's like, I've gone to
- 46:08Speaker 4: something and depending on what time I get there or,
- 46:12Speaker 4: or how small of an event it is.
- 46:13Speaker 2: They're excited for me.
- 46:14Speaker 4: Other times I'm like, you know, this is going to
- 46:16Speaker 4: take two seconds because they're going to take my picture
- 46:19Speaker 4: and then no one's going to ask me a question
- 46:21Speaker 4: and I'm going to be off of it in two seconds,
- 46:23Speaker 4: which is fine. It's still worth it to do it
- 46:24Speaker 4: because you're there.
- 46:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, Elton John, they were much more interested
- 46:28Speaker 3: in me because there were less celebrities. And I was earlier.
- 46:31Speaker 3: So I think they had it.
- 46:32Speaker 4: So at the Vanity, so how long did you stay
- 46:35Speaker 4: at the Vanity Fair? And did you and your friend, like,
- 46:37Speaker 4: when did you know Let's wrap it up or I'm
- 46:40Speaker 4: just so tired I have to leave.
- 46:41Speaker 2: Like, how do you decide?
- 46:42Speaker 3: Okay, so don't be mad at me. We didn't stay long.
- 46:45Speaker 3: I didn't figure out how much it was a minute.
- 46:46Speaker 3: So we got there about 1030, but we stood in line.
- 46:49Speaker 3: It was a stupid mistake. If I go next year,
- 46:51Speaker 3: I'm not waiting in line. I don't need my picture
- 46:53Speaker 3: taken on the red carpet. I would bypass that, go
- 46:55Speaker 3: right into the party and take pictures there because they
- 46:57Speaker 3: took pictures of that.
- 46:58Speaker 5: Right.
- 46:59Speaker 3: Because I know I'm not important enough. You know, not
- 47:01Speaker 3: that I thought I was, but I did want to
- 47:03Speaker 3: get my picture taken on the red carpet. And I
- 47:04Speaker 3: think maybe two people tried. There were 100 cameras there.
- 47:07Speaker 3: Everyone else had their camera down and was picking on
- 47:09Speaker 3: someone else. I mean, it's fine. I have no ego.
- 47:11Speaker 3: It's fine. So I wouldn't wait in line again. That
- 47:13Speaker 3: was a waste of time. So by the time I
- 47:14Speaker 3: got in, let's say it was like 11, 11, 15,
- 47:16Speaker 3: we were in the car by 12. Like we stayed
- 47:18Speaker 3: 45 minutes. I saw everybody. A lot of people had
- 47:22Speaker 3: left already and gone to Elton John. So the two
- 47:24Speaker 3: parties going on at the Oscars at the same time
- 47:26Speaker 3: watching the show Vanity Fair, Elton John. After it's over,
- 47:30Speaker 3: they swapped. And then the Oscar people who win or
- 47:34Speaker 3: go to the Oscars go to the Governor's Ball first,
- 47:37Speaker 3: if they are an Oscar nominee or winner. They go
- 47:40Speaker 3: to the Governor's Ball. And that takes, let's say, an hour.
- 47:41Speaker 3: So by the time they're done, they're getting to Vanity
- 47:44Speaker 3: Fair around 11. So as I was leaving, I mean,
- 47:47Speaker 3: I met a few people. I told her I took
- 47:49Speaker 3: a picture. I held an Oscar. I held this Oscar.
- 47:51Speaker 3: It weighs like 25 pounds.
- 47:52Speaker 2: Who's Oscar?
- 47:53Speaker 3: And they say, oh, it's heavier than I thought. The
- 47:55Speaker 3: guy who won Supporting Actor. Oh, okay. He let me
- 47:59Speaker 3: hold this Oscar. And it weighs like twice as much
- 48:02Speaker 3: as you think it does. Like my dress. Yeah. Like that.
- 48:05Speaker 3: Like your hand gets pulled down. It's that heavy. Literally.
- 48:09Speaker 3: I should have like taken a picture with it. I didn't.
- 48:10Speaker 3: I was just so excited to hold it. I took
- 48:12Speaker 3: a picture with him. Then I asked him to hold
- 48:14Speaker 3: the Oscar. So it was out of order. So I
- 48:17Speaker 3: met a few people getting the Oscars coming in. But
- 48:19Speaker 3: it was like, I'm tired. I got a million celebrities.
- 48:23Speaker 3: I got a million photos. How much more can we do?
- 48:26Speaker 3: So we left. I got my shoes. They gave free
- 48:29Speaker 3: shoes when you left flat. Could they not have given
- 48:31Speaker 3: it inside? I had to take my shoes off and
- 48:33Speaker 3: walk barefoot on dirty floors all night when I got,
- 48:35Speaker 3: you know, they had free flats outside.
- 48:37Speaker 2: That's nice that they did that.
- 48:40Speaker 3: They do, but they do it when you're getting in
- 48:41Speaker 3: your car. Who cares?
- 48:42Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 48:42Speaker 3: Do you know what I mean? Like, why don't you
- 48:44Speaker 3: do it when you're entering the place? Right. Instead of
- 48:47Speaker 3: at the exit. It should be at the entrance saying, okay,
- 48:49Speaker 3: if you've already been walking all night, get some shoes.
- 48:51Speaker 3: The other thing is, I was disappointed. Guess what they
- 48:54Speaker 3: didn't have, Heather? What?
- 48:56Speaker 2: Diet Coke?
- 48:56Speaker 3: No get back. Oh, no gift bag.
- 48:58Speaker 6: No gift bag.
- 48:59Speaker 3: Now, I was told Elton John had the best gift bag.
- 49:02Speaker 3: No gift bag, unless I missed it. But I'm sure
- 49:04Speaker 3: somebody would have said, here's a gift bag. No gift bag.
- 49:07Speaker 3: And the only thing I got from the Vanity Fair
- 49:10Speaker 3: party is they had water bottles and metal cans that
- 49:12Speaker 3: were printed off. So I took that. I took my program.
- 49:15Speaker 3: I took my ticket. And I got my shoes. That's it.
- 49:18Speaker 3: I would have liked to have gotten a gift bag, but...
- 49:20Speaker 3: no gift bag. So just telling you, telling everybody. It
- 49:24Speaker 3: was a night of my life. Do I have to
- 49:26Speaker 3: do it again? No. Would I go back again? Yes.
- 49:30Speaker 3: And I would be there on time at 1030. My
- 49:34Speaker 3: ticket was to 1030 and I would not use red carpet.
- 49:36Speaker 3: I would go right in.
- 49:37Speaker 4: You mean you'd go to Vanity Fair at 10?
- 49:41Speaker 2: You'd go right at Vanity Fair at 10.
- 49:43Speaker 4: Do you feel like you missed out not going to
- 49:45Speaker 4: the second party of Elton John, though?
- 49:48Speaker 3: I'll let you know when I see what happens. I
- 49:51Speaker 3: think not. I saw who's on the program. I don't
- 49:53Speaker 3: recognize the name. He has musical guests? Yes, but I
- 49:59Speaker 3: don't recognize the name. And I saw Elton John at
- 50:02Speaker 3: a private concert six months ago, and I also saw
- 50:04Speaker 3: him in a concert in Florida. Um, but I, I,
- 50:07Speaker 3: I have video. I have that.
- 50:08Speaker 2: But he wasn't, he wasn't sure. So he was performing.
- 50:13Speaker 3: No, he's not scheduled to perform. He was not scheduled
- 50:16Speaker 3: to perform. And I did not see a piano. So
- 50:19Speaker 3: if there's no piano, Elton John's not singing, actually. There
- 50:21Speaker 3: was no piano. There's no way he would sing, actually.
- 50:24Speaker 4: So, Jill, I know you have to get on a plane,
- 50:27Speaker 4: but you said you believe the reason that you're at
- 50:30Speaker 4: the Oscars is because last year you manifested it, which
- 50:34Speaker 4: is what I call working the secret. And other people
- 50:39Speaker 4: do different things. But what I love about your and Allie,
- 50:43Speaker 4: your daughter's manifest candles is that they have a manifestation
- 50:47Speaker 4: crystal in the candle.
- 50:48Speaker 2: So once you are done with the candle, you get
- 50:50Speaker 2: to keep the crystal.
- 50:51Speaker 4: And what I also like about it, if you really
- 50:53Speaker 4: want to work on manifesting thing, instead of just thinking
- 50:56Speaker 4: about it in your head by lighting it, it's like
- 50:59Speaker 4: a little ritual. So you make sure that you really
- 51:01Speaker 4: manifest what you want every day. And I think that
- 51:04Speaker 4: is what's so cool about your candles.
- 51:08Speaker 3: Thank you. And they also smell great, by the way.
- 51:10Speaker 2: Yes, they're great.
- 51:11Speaker 3: We really work really hard on the scent and they
- 51:13Speaker 3: last forever. So listen, for your listeners who are my people,
- 51:17Speaker 3: because I am a Patreon member and a fan of
- 51:19Speaker 3: yours since day one, even though we're friends, I still,
- 51:22Speaker 3: you know, I'm a juicy, juicy scoop fan. 25% off
- 51:26Speaker 3: everybody at JillandAlley.com.
- 51:29Speaker 2: Do they have to do a code or anything? Wait,
- 51:31Speaker 2: do they have to do a code or anything?
- 51:32Speaker 3: Oh, yes. What was it? Heather 25. Or what do
- 51:35Speaker 3: you want it to be? Juicy 25.
- 51:37Speaker 2: No.
- 51:37Speaker 3: Juicy 25.
- 51:38Speaker 2: Just do Juicy 25. That's easiest.
- 51:40Speaker 3: Juicy 25. Juicy 25.
- 51:41Speaker 2: And get it.
- 51:41Speaker 3: It's a great gift.
- 51:43Speaker 2: And it's a really cool thing. I hope you guys
- 51:46Speaker 2: like it.
- 51:46Speaker 3: Yeah. They have all.
- 51:48Speaker 2: Different kinds of candles, too. But I think that's kind
- 51:51Speaker 2: of a cool thing.
- 51:53Speaker 4: Everyone can use more positive manifestation in their life.
- 51:57Speaker 3: And if you want to go to the hospice next year,
- 51:59Speaker 3: buy the one that says luck. It's green. It smells delicious.
- 52:02Speaker 2: Oh, cute.
- 52:03Speaker 5: For St.
- 52:03Speaker 2: Patrick's. For St.
- 52:05Speaker 3: Patrick's Day.
- 52:06Speaker 2: Send it to your Irish or your non-Irish friend. Everyone
- 52:08Speaker 2: can use some luck. All right, Jill. Enjoy your flight.
- 52:14Speaker 2: You know, I was manifesting that one of those people at.
- 52:17Speaker 4: The table would have gotten sick between 1130 when I
- 52:21Speaker 4: met your friend and three o'clock when you had to leave.
- 52:24Speaker 4: But I guess nobody got sick and everyone showed up.
- 52:26Speaker 4: So maybe next year.
- 52:27Speaker 3: You know what? Next year, I'm going to work on that.
- 52:31Speaker 2: Okay.
- 52:31Speaker 3: And we'll have the best time of your life. Like, beyond.
- 52:35Speaker 3: I'm going to work on that.
- 52:36Speaker 6: I am.
- 52:36Speaker 3: All right.
- 52:37Speaker 2: I love you, Jill. Have a good safe flight back.
- 52:39Speaker 2: Thank you so much for doing this.
- 52:40Speaker 3: Have a great show. Thanks everyone for listening. Bye. Bye.
- 52:44Speaker 2: So I got to talk to Dr.
- 52:46Speaker 4: Drew on Friday and we talked for a long time.
- 52:49Speaker 4: Some of it's going to be for my Patreon. You know,
- 52:52Speaker 4: you go to HeatherMcDonald.net and click on Patreon for different
- 52:57Speaker 4: levels because we get into lots of juicy personal stuff.
- 52:59Speaker 4: But the part I want to share on today's show
- 53:02Speaker 4: is just relevant to the scandal of all Vanderpump cheating,
- 53:06Speaker 4: narcissism relationships.
- 53:08Speaker 2: And Dr.
- 53:08Speaker 4: Drew was great about that. So let's listen to some
- 53:10Speaker 4: of that right now with my friend, Dr.
- 53:12Speaker 5: Drew.
- 53:13Speaker 4: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop. I have return favorite,
- 53:16Speaker 4: everyone's favorite therapist, certainly mine, Dr.
- 53:19Speaker 2: Drew.
- 53:19Speaker 5: Good afternoon.
- 53:20Speaker 3: Dr.
- 53:20Speaker 2: Drew Pinsky.
- 53:21Speaker 5: Here we are.
- 53:22Speaker 2: We have so much to discuss. We have so many questions.
- 53:24Speaker 5: We always do, you and I. In fact, we should,
- 53:27Speaker 5: it's sad how much flows out into the universe without
- 53:30Speaker 5: being caught on mic.
- 53:30Speaker 4: I know, I'm like, save it, save it, save it. You,
- 53:33Speaker 4: I asked you if you were up on the Vanderpump Scoop.
- 53:37Speaker 4: And just to give people a reference, we're recording this,
- 53:40Speaker 4: what did they say, 8th?
- 53:42Speaker 3: Oh, 10th. It's March.
- 53:43Speaker 5: I've lost a week of my life.
- 53:45Speaker 4: That's what she meant. It's March 10th, 2023. And so
- 53:49Speaker 4: we're in the thick of the one week. It was
- 53:52Speaker 4: a week ago today that the news broke that Tom
- 53:55Speaker 4: Sandoval was having a seven-month affair with this girl, Raquel,
- 54:01Speaker 4: from Vanderpump Rules.
- 54:02Speaker 5: And the other girl is his wife, and it's her
- 54:04Speaker 5: best friend or something.
- 54:05Speaker 3: Correct.
- 54:05Speaker 5: Good friend.
- 54:06Speaker 3: Correct.
- 54:06Speaker 2: That's pretty much all you need.
- 54:07Speaker 5: I'd heard it.
- 54:08Speaker 2: That's all you really need to know.
- 54:10Speaker 5: And I've read her apology.
- 54:12Speaker 3: Yes.
- 54:13Speaker 5: And, okay, go ahead. You asked about it.
- 54:15Speaker 2: No, go ahead. I've talked about it forever.
- 54:17Speaker 5: Because I know what you're going to say about it.
- 54:19Speaker 2: What am I going to say about it?
- 54:20Speaker 5: Because people feel like it's an excuse, that she's making
- 54:24Speaker 5: an excuse for what happened. I just want you to
- 54:27Speaker 5: know what she described about the condition that she allegedly
- 54:31Speaker 5: has was spot on. Spot on. The problem is when
- 54:36Speaker 5: somebody makes an apology, you just want the fucking apology.
- 54:40Speaker 5: You don't want the explanation for why you're an asshole.
- 54:42Speaker 5: That can come later. I think the reason it didn't
- 54:45Speaker 5: work the way, unfortunately, it should have is that it
- 54:48Speaker 5: was apology, which was good, and then explanation. And people
- 54:52Speaker 5: kind of feel like if you're using an explanation, even though,
- 54:55Speaker 5: in my opinion, it's 100% accurate, it feels like an excuse.
- 54:59Speaker 5: And that's what people get kind of weird about.
- 55:00Speaker 4: Well, I think in this day and age, victimhood is
- 55:04Speaker 4: very popular. It's an easy way to get out of something.
- 55:07Speaker 4: When you're about to be canceled... You know, I feel
- 55:10Speaker 4: like Will Smith did it. You know, oh, I went
- 55:12Speaker 4: away and I realized it's because my dad was a
- 55:14Speaker 4: dick and like whatever his excuse was.
- 55:18Speaker 5: This is the problem. Explanation shouldn't be used as excuse.
- 55:22Speaker 4: Right.
- 55:22Speaker 5: It should be there's no excuse. I apologize. I will
- 55:25Speaker 5: make this right.
- 55:25Speaker 3: Period.
- 55:26Speaker 5: End of story. Then if you want to hear what's
- 55:28Speaker 5: going on inside me, I'll be happy to tell you.
- 55:30Speaker 5: By the way, it'd be good for people to hear
- 55:32Speaker 5: it because it's educational. It's good. But it's not an excuse.
- 55:35Speaker 4: And I also feel that, you know, she's obviously... Um,
- 55:40Speaker 4: have people helping her.
- 55:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 55:42Speaker 4: She showed in a situation like this and helping.
- 55:45Speaker 5: PR and I almost felt like a therapist wrote that because.
- 55:48Speaker 4: Definitely, I mean, I think she met with all the
- 55:50Speaker 4: people and they're like, you know, we want, even the
- 55:53Speaker 4: parents are going to be like, well, please tell us
- 55:56Speaker 4: we didn't like raise. a sociopath who has absolutely no
- 56:00Speaker 4: feelings for someone.
- 56:01Speaker 2: No, you didn't.
- 56:02Speaker 4: You raised someone who became, you know, sucked into bad
- 56:05Speaker 4: relationships and is a love addict and blah, blah, blah.
- 56:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:08Speaker 2: So, of course you want that.
- 56:10Speaker 5: I mean, people can be cunning, but it usually isn't.
- 56:13Speaker 5: It usually is, oh my God, it's like, oh, that's
- 56:16Speaker 5: why I'm such an asshole. I better tell everybody because that,
- 56:19Speaker 5: and it feels good to explain it. They're missing the point,
- 56:23Speaker 5: which is the accountability, you know, the amends, right? And that's,
- 56:28Speaker 5: part of the pathology, frankly, is you kind of miss
- 56:31Speaker 5: that part. You want to be, look, it's perfectly natural
- 56:36Speaker 5: for her to want to be excused for this, right?
- 56:39Speaker 5: It does not feel good. She wishes she hadn't done this.
- 56:41Speaker 2: Raquel, yeah.
- 56:42Speaker 5: Raquel. It was a mistake. She sees it was a mistake.
- 56:46Speaker 5: She sees it in the context of her sex and
- 56:48Speaker 5: love addiction now. But that's, you know, there was a
- 56:51Speaker 5: reason I think people used to keep things to themselves.
- 56:54Speaker 5: You know, it used to be very, that was personable
- 56:55Speaker 5: back in the day. And you'd have your own stuff.
- 56:58Speaker 5: I sort of invented bringing things out into the sunlight.
- 57:02Speaker 5: And I think it's a good thing because other people
- 57:04Speaker 5: can learn from it. But don't expect that you're going
- 57:06Speaker 5: to get necessarily, you know, direct benefits. You know what
- 57:09Speaker 5: I mean?
- 57:10Speaker 4: Well, I think when the affair first started with the
- 57:12Speaker 4: two of them. And, you know, they say it was
- 57:15Speaker 4: seven months. But there's, that it could have been all
- 57:18Speaker 4: the way up until April of 2022.
- 57:19Speaker 3: So, yeah.
- 57:22Speaker 4: I really think, and I think Lisa Vanderpump even kind
- 57:25Speaker 4: of said this, I think that the plan was to
- 57:28Speaker 4: get through the filming and the reunion, which was always
- 57:31Speaker 4: scheduled for March 23rd, which is going to happen March 23rd,
- 57:35Speaker 4: without anyone knowing. Then they stop filming. He ends his
- 57:39Speaker 4: relationship with Ariana. And then once they're officially broken up,
- 57:45Speaker 4: Then he can start dating Raquel, and the two of
- 57:48Speaker 4: them will act like we found each other.
- 57:49Speaker 3: Oh, boy.
- 57:50Speaker 2: And then they come.
- 57:52Speaker 5: Back- That's gross.
- 57:53Speaker 2: On the show and have- So I do think- That's.
- 57:56Speaker 5: Sort of gross to do that, right? It's very gross,
- 57:57Speaker 5: but I do- Unless Ariana's signed up for it.
- 58:00Speaker 3: No. No, I mean, no.
- 58:01Speaker 5: She's the wife, Ariana, right?
- 58:02Speaker 2: Yes, basically.
- 58:03Speaker 5: But I also- But what's up with him? What's up
- 58:05Speaker 5: with the- Why aren't we talking about his pathology?
- 58:08Speaker 6: No, no.
- 58:08Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 58:09Speaker 4: But I think his pathology in convincing her was also
- 58:13Speaker 4: a huge- being part of the show is why it
- 58:19Speaker 4: takes it to a whole, all different dimensions versus if
- 58:22Speaker 4: this was just happening.
- 58:24Speaker 2: In a cul-de-sac.
- 58:24Speaker 5: Oh, right. Yeah.
- 58:25Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 58:26Speaker 4: That's where the best friend is screwing her. The lady's
- 58:29Speaker 4: next door is husband.
- 58:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 58:30Speaker 4: Like that's also really, really weird and crazy and always
- 58:33Speaker 4: has been. But I think some of their planning and
- 58:36Speaker 4: secrecy and everything is, was also because we're on a
- 58:40Speaker 4: show together, and we want to stay on a show,
- 58:42Speaker 4: and we want the show to continue, because for Tom Sandoval,
- 58:45Speaker 4: it's been his career for 13 years.
- 58:47Speaker 5: Well, you know, women have an uncanny ability to blame
- 58:52Speaker 5: the woman when there's cheating going on.
- 58:55Speaker 2: I've been accused of blaming her too much from some
- 58:57Speaker 2: of the fans.
- 58:57Speaker 3: Well.
- 58:58Speaker 2: And I just think because... Sorry, I have to come
- 59:01Speaker 2: up with something.
- 59:01Speaker 4: I think that we're used to men being awful and dog. Oh,
- 59:06Speaker 4: my God.
- 59:06Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 59:08Speaker 5: Yeah, but this is big. cheating and being a dog
- 59:12Speaker 5: when you're 22 and you're in a relationship that's three
- 59:14Speaker 5: months old. How long have they been married?
- 59:16Speaker 2: They've been together. They never got married, but they own
- 59:18Speaker 2: a home together. They've been together nine years.
- 59:20Speaker 3: Okay.
- 59:20Speaker 5: I mean, that's a whole different thing. Or the way
- 59:24Speaker 5: I could excuse him, by the way, it's not excuse,
- 59:26Speaker 5: but explain again. is if that relationship was really a
- 59:29Speaker 5: mess and he didn't know how to get out or something, okay,
- 59:32Speaker 5: he blew it up. That happens too. But this didn't
- 59:35Speaker 5: feel like that. This felt very clandestine.
- 59:39Speaker 4: I just remembered I saw a TikTok with a female
- 59:44Speaker 4: divorce attorney. And she said, in all the years of
- 59:47Speaker 4: me practicing divorce for 33 years or whatever it is,
- 59:51Speaker 4: only in three cases, in her hundreds of cases, Where
- 59:57Speaker 4: the man has initiated the divorce, did he not already
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: have a girlfriend? The men will leave when they already
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: have someone else.
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: I find that true of the women too. I think
- 1:00:07Speaker 5: it's both. Well, in her.
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: Case, she said women will leave when they don't have
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: anyone else lined up and they're just totally fed up
- 1:00:14Speaker 4: and done.
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: Yes, yes.
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: But a man might not be in love with his
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: wife anymore. But if he doesn't have another girl lined up,
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: he's less likely to initiate the divorce. He'd rather just
- 1:00:23Speaker 4: stay in a loveless marriage.
- 1:00:25Speaker 5: Makes perfect sense to me. But people, both sexes maintain bullpens, literally.
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: And as they get ready for the divorce, they call
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: the bullpen. How's your arm? Warm it up. Get your pitching.
- 1:00:38Speaker 5: Get on the mound. Warm up with the coaches. Let's
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: go here. Both sides do that. Now, the one thing
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: I will say about women I've noticed in divorce is
- 1:00:46Speaker 5: when When relationships aren't going well for various reasons, it
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: really doesn't matter the cause. The marriage isn't going well.
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: The woman's complaining, complaining, complaining. They go to couples therapy.
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: And then all of a sudden, one day she goes,
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: I'm out.
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: That person is in a relationship. When it's been not
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: going well for a while and all of a sudden,
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: out of the blue, today I'm leaving in a relationship.
- 1:01:07Speaker 5: That's what you think. 100% been my experience. I agree
- 1:01:10Speaker 5: with the divorce turning on the man side in terms
- 1:01:12Speaker 5: of initiating divorce. But in terms of Being in a
- 1:01:16Speaker 5: relationship that's not working and then suddenly leaving.
- 1:01:19Speaker 4: Well, I've also seen where the person, where the woman,
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: if we're just talking about a woman, a woman is
- 1:01:25Speaker 4: so hurt by the man crying, you know, begging for his,
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: and then one day she does stop crying and she
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: does stop fighting.
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: Because she actually doesn't care anymore. Yeah.
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: And then it's like, if you're the kind of verbally
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: abusive one, And you get to a place where your
- 1:01:41Speaker 4: partner doesn't even care to fight back, then you know
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: it's really done.
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: She's checked out.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: Yeah. Or vice versa.
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: Or on the way out of something.
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: For sure.
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: I just don't even care enough to fight back with
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: you because it goes nowhere.
- 1:01:54Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:01:55Speaker 5: It's so sad. All this stuff makes me sad. Okay.
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: So what do you think of someone that lives that
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: cheating lifestyle? Yeah.
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: I guess the one thing that I'm so interested in
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: the Raquel thing is that she is with her best
- 1:02:12Speaker 4: friend at Coworker Everything, going on trips with them, talking
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: about things, acting like she likes other guys when she's
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: actually screwing this girl's husband or man. When you've talked
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: to people that have done this, are they waking up
- 1:02:32Speaker 4: every day and just saying like, Do they even feel
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: bad when they're doing it or are they thinking it's
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: just a means to an end and the end will be,
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: they're really.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: Not meant to be together. I'm really meant to be
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: with him and I just have to wait it out.
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: There's many different versions of it, right? Some people don't
- 1:02:49Speaker 5: feel bad, which is, that's not a good person in
- 1:02:53Speaker 5: that situation. You should feel bad about this. But there's
- 1:02:57Speaker 5: a million different stories people tell themselves. They tell themselves
- 1:03:00Speaker 5: whatever story they need to tell themselves to be the
- 1:03:02Speaker 5: good person in this situation. scenario and usually it's bullshit
- 1:03:08Speaker 5: usually they tell themselves bullshit she doesn't love me anymore
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: she doesn't care um she's cheating whatever they tell themselves
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: all kinds.
- 1:03:14Speaker 4: Of crazy right but what about her in her case
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: being that she is not cheating on a partner she's
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: the she's cheating her friend or whatever like What does
- 1:03:28Speaker 4: that person tell themselves?
- 1:03:29Speaker 5: The way I look at that particular kind of situation,
- 1:03:32Speaker 5: it's like a drug addict continuing to maintain their addiction, stealing, cheating, lying.
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: They just have to do it to survive. They're in
- 1:03:41Speaker 5: sort of a weird, they're disturbed, right? They're in a
- 1:03:44Speaker 5: disease state. And although sex and love addiction isn't formally
- 1:03:48Speaker 5: a diagnosis, it's a way of understanding these behaviors. And
- 1:03:52Speaker 5: when people are deep in this, they behave just like
- 1:03:54Speaker 5: drug addicts. It's like asking, what's it? What's a drug
- 1:03:56Speaker 5: addict trying to do when they're lying and cheating and stealing?
- 1:04:00Speaker 5: Here's what they're trying to do. Do drugs. Period. That's
- 1:04:02Speaker 5: the whole story. And the same thing with this woman.
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: She's just trying to have sex with this guy. And
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: she needs that to fill the hole, survive, whatever it is.
- 1:04:10Speaker 5: She just has to have that. So she does whatever
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: she has to do.
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: It's interesting because when.
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: You see the clips that they filmed before when she's
- 1:04:18Speaker 4: deceiving everybody on the cast, she's saying like, I just
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: don't care. I'm just out to have fun for me.
- 1:04:25Speaker 4: I'm just out to like, she's kind of, I feel
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: like gave herself permission.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: To be like, I don't care.
- 1:04:33Speaker 4: Like I'm going to do what I want to do,
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: but I do think she fell in love with him.
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: And now they're like, people are like analyzing her social
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: media from months back where she would like this lightning
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: bolt thing is they both had these lightning bolt necklaces
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: and she always did lightning bolt emojis.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: And she's always like, you know, doing like caption this thing.
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: And it's like, if you, if you analyze the three emojis,
- 1:04:56Speaker 4: it's Tom's future girl about herself and things like that.
- 1:05:00Speaker 4: So she was like throwing hints out. And I think
- 1:05:02Speaker 4: they were like winking at each other through social media
- 1:05:05Speaker 4: that like, I got you. And of course the necklace
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: was like, every time I take a photo with this
- 1:05:09Speaker 4: necklace on, you know that it's like, and I, that's
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: not new to like treating couples.
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: It's fascinating. It's fascinating to me that the way we
- 1:05:18Speaker 5: educate patients who get, fall into these, uh, situations that
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: are too intense. They get addicted to the intensity. That's
- 1:05:25Speaker 5: what they love. They don't know intimacy or love. They
- 1:05:29Speaker 5: just know intensity. And we always tell them, think lightning bolts,
- 1:05:33Speaker 5: not lightning bolts. No, think butterflies, not lightning bolts. We
- 1:05:36Speaker 5: tell them that all the time.
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 1:05:38Speaker 5: In other words, when you see somebody and you have
- 1:05:40Speaker 5: like lightning bolt attraction to them, and if you're a
- 1:05:43Speaker 5: love addict, you have a tendency to pick bad people,
- 1:05:46Speaker 5: that's going to be a bad person again. That's going
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: to be your addiction every time, every single time. you're
- 1:05:51Speaker 5: just gonna reenact that cycle. So if it's somebody that
- 1:05:54Speaker 5: you're excited about, interested in, but not struck by, if
- 1:05:58Speaker 5: you're struck, that's your brain, your brain's a perfect instrument
- 1:06:01Speaker 5: with this. People don't talk about it. Attractions, if you
- 1:06:05Speaker 5: have certain pathological sort of maps in your brain, attractions,
- 1:06:10Speaker 5: those pathologies are the source of attraction. Attraction is how
- 1:06:15Speaker 5: that all gets acted out. You attract and are attracted
- 1:06:19Speaker 5: to people and circumstances that either act out the addiction
- 1:06:24Speaker 5: or the traumas from the past whatever it is you
- 1:06:26Speaker 5: have to learn to read your attractions if you're one
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: of these people and you can't give into it unless
- 1:06:31Speaker 5: you go get intensive treatment and those attractions kind of.
- 1:06:34Speaker 4: Settle down um i mean how would someone like ariana
- 1:06:39Speaker 4: like ever like work with these people again or have
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: to deal with these people again if in fact they
- 1:06:47Speaker 4: are like it's one thing to have are they going
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: to be a couple I mean, I think they are.
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: The last thing she wrote, she did another statement where
- 1:06:54Speaker 4: she was like, when I met Tom, it was out of, um, friend,
- 1:06:58Speaker 4: you know, like my really, my feelings for Tom have
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: always been stemmed from friendship first. And like, she did,
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: she's basically said this thing to make it like to
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: not to let Tom know. And then he liked it
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: to let Tom know, like, I'm not throwing you under
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: the bus in this.
- 1:07:14Speaker 5: Well, not throwing under the bus is one thing, but
- 1:07:16Speaker 5: if she's actually getting her sex addiction treatment, this guy's
- 1:07:20Speaker 5: her drug. And so continuing that relationship is going to
- 1:07:23Speaker 5: be a sign that you wouldn't tell anybody to break
- 1:07:25Speaker 5: up a relationship in treatment, right? We don't tell people
- 1:07:27Speaker 5: how to live their life. But if she's actively engaged
- 1:07:29Speaker 5: in treatment, she's not going to stay with that guy.
- 1:07:33Speaker 5: If she does, that tells you that whole diatribe explanation
- 1:07:38Speaker 5: was an excuse.
- 1:07:40Speaker 4: What about, though, that it's tied into her whole career
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: and livelihood?
- 1:07:45Speaker 6: I know.
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: This is the problem. You asked how could Ariana stay
- 1:07:47Speaker 5: around those people, right?
- 1:07:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: It depends how much they're getting paid and how much
- 1:07:50Speaker 5: that means to them, right? It's just all these secondary gains.
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: What are they going to put up with? It's kind
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: of excruciating to think about.
- 1:07:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: This is Annie's question. I don't know why this is
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: Annie's question.
- 1:08:03Speaker 4: I had all these questions are coming from my Juicy
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: Skip Obsessed Facebook. What do you think is going to
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: happen to all these sugar babies that don't know how
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: to take care of themselves without some old rich guy
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: paying their bills?
- 1:08:15Speaker 5: Yeah, it's awful, right?
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: She's not a sugar baby.
- 1:08:18Speaker 5: Don't look at her like that.
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: No, no.
- 1:08:19Speaker 5: She asked the question, so I'm answering it to her. Again,
- 1:08:24Speaker 5: you know, to try to generalize about people's choices and
- 1:08:27Speaker 5: behaviors is really tough, but that's one liability, right? The
- 1:08:32Speaker 5: other is think of your values and your sense of
- 1:08:38Speaker 5: worth and your sense of yourself that gets you to
- 1:08:41Speaker 5: the place where you're doing that, right?
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:08:43Speaker 5: You can't feel great about yourself and you can't, It
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: has a nefarious quality to it also. So you're willing
- 1:08:54Speaker 5: to go to places for money. It's like, is that
- 1:08:59Speaker 5: really who you are? And by the way, if that
- 1:09:00Speaker 5: is really who you are, then there's sort of certain
- 1:09:03Speaker 5: character structures that gravitate to that stuff that it's not
- 1:09:06Speaker 5: so great either.
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:09:08Speaker 4: And it's all like, you know, it's all this weird
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: stuff that just didn't, was never a conversation with my
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: girlfriends and I 30 years ago.
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: Like getting a Chanel bag from a guy.
- 1:09:19Speaker 4: It just wasn't anything we discussed.
- 1:09:22Speaker 5: This is what Megan Dom's always talking about, how when
- 1:09:25Speaker 5: we were all growing up, there was much more equity
- 1:09:27Speaker 5: between men and women. We were all just sort of
- 1:09:30Speaker 5: competing together. You were my competitor in school. We were
- 1:09:33Speaker 5: going to compete for places in graduate school, and then
- 1:09:35Speaker 5: we were going to compete for jobs. You were the
- 1:09:38Speaker 5: same as my male friend, no difference. And so the
- 1:09:41Speaker 5: idea that you would be scheming, it never, ever occurred
- 1:09:44Speaker 5: to anybody.
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: No, you just, I remember I was on one date
- 1:09:47Speaker 4: with this guy and he goes, wait, I have to
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: go into this, like whatever. It was like a, you know,
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: a place where you'd buy shampoo, like kind of a,
- 1:09:54Speaker 4: like an upscale, whatever. And he's buying some stuff and
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: he's like, do you need anything? And I was like,
- 1:09:59Speaker 4: I'm not going to have this guy on a date,
- 1:10:01Speaker 4: like buy my shampoo.
- 1:10:03Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:10:04Speaker 4: And that, you know, and then shortly after that, like whatever,
- 1:10:06Speaker 4: I got married. And now this is like such a
- 1:10:08Speaker 4: thing of like, there's people telling women like how to,
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: even if you're not in a sugar baby relationship, but
- 1:10:14Speaker 4: you're like on a a couple of dates with someone
- 1:10:16Speaker 4: that can afford it, how to take them into a
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: store and what to say and do to kind of
- 1:10:22Speaker 4: trick them into.
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: Buying what you want.
- 1:10:25Speaker 5: Wow.
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: And even Chris Rock talks about it on his special,
- 1:10:29Speaker 4: how it's so easy to date a 25 year old.
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: You just buy her a pair of shoes and then
- 1:10:34Speaker 4: she prances around naked in front of you in them
- 1:10:37Speaker 4: and calls you daddy. And then a woman who's 45 says,
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: Is going to, might own her own home and like
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: ask you to help her when her pool overflows. So
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: he's like, I'd rather just buy the shoes for the
- 1:10:48Speaker 4: 25 year old. But I appreciated his honesty as like
- 1:10:53Speaker 4: a divorced 55 year old rich guy. That's, that's the
- 1:10:57Speaker 4: reality of 2023 for somebody.
- 1:10:59Speaker 5: Well, I also had a guy who was dating in Miami.
- 1:11:01Speaker 5: He was like my age and he was saying he had,
- 1:11:03Speaker 5: he's encountered that.
- 1:11:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:11:05Speaker 5: And he was saying he's, he, he, this is awful.
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:11:08Speaker 5: Because we've gotten to this point with people, right?
- 1:11:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:11:11Speaker 5: Dating should be a thing where you sit and you
- 1:11:15Speaker 5: enjoy other people's company.
- 1:11:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:11:16Speaker 5: You learn who you are, who the other person is,
- 1:11:18Speaker 5: what you like, what you don't like, and then you
- 1:11:20Speaker 5: form romantic liaisons as that develops.
- 1:11:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:11:22Speaker 5: That's healthy. We're like exploiting each other. We're like using
- 1:11:26Speaker 5: each other, which is the opposite of good human relations.
- 1:11:29Speaker 5: But this guy said he encountered three different things. He
- 1:11:32Speaker 5: said the women, the younger ones that he was buying
- 1:11:34Speaker 5: the shoes for, then wanted him to have a kid
- 1:11:37Speaker 5: with them. Yeah.
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: Anchor baby, lock it down.
- 1:11:40Speaker 5: The next, like the sort of 30 to 50-year-olds wanted
- 1:11:44Speaker 5: him to pay for their kid, take care of the
- 1:11:46Speaker 5: kid that they already had. And then the older ones,
- 1:11:50Speaker 5: sort of my age, wanted to keep him. They wanted
- 1:11:53Speaker 5: him to sort of be... He would be kept by
- 1:11:55Speaker 5: them because they had money and were stable and just
- 1:11:57Speaker 5: wanted to use him as exactly the way he was
- 1:11:59Speaker 5: using the younger ones, essentially.
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: They just want to always have a date.
- 1:12:03Speaker 5: Just have him.
- 1:12:03Speaker 2: They don't want to be... Single.
- 1:12:05Speaker 5: And they use the strategy of coming to their, you know,
- 1:12:09Speaker 5: coming to their suites at the football games and stuff.
- 1:12:12Speaker 5: Rather than shoes, it's athletic events and concerts and things
- 1:12:15Speaker 5: like that.
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: Oh, they write the guys that. Oh, that's great.
- 1:12:19Speaker 5: Courtside at the, you know, Knicks game and things.
- 1:12:22Speaker 4: Yeah. Well, I definitely think with women that, you know,
- 1:12:25Speaker 4: are like over 50, if they are single and they
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: have money, sometimes they want to be single, but they
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: also just want, especially if it's like a famous person,
- 1:12:33Speaker 4: like there's this one woman who's, I'll just say she's
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: a former real housewife and she's had this fiance for
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: a long time, but nobody really sees them together that
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: much and they're not getting married. And I don't even
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: think she's really into him. I think she just doesn't
- 1:12:50Speaker 4: want to be a hundred percent single and she's busy
- 1:12:52Speaker 4: being a mom and running businesses.
- 1:12:54Speaker 5: People do that.
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: And it's like, let's just see each other twice a
- 1:12:57Speaker 2: month or on a vacation.
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: But like, I have this big rock And I can
- 1:13:01Speaker 4: tell everyone I'm a fiance, but there's no move to
