- 0:04You're listening to the Bring the Thunder.
- 0:06Podcast A podcast by fans. For fans.
- 0:11Yes, you guys are welcome to the bring the Thunder podcast.
- 0:15We have myself, Gabe, we got Joe and savvier and today we are
- 0:18bringing you guys yet another episode.
- 0:21We have a a pretty large range of topics here kind of bounced
- 0:24all over the place, but they're definitely good ones, don't get
- 0:27us wrong. So without further ado, let's
- 0:29kind of just jump right into this first topic, which there is
- 0:33a it's actually a topic that the entire league needs to kind of
- 0:36start addressing and, and figuring out.
- 0:37And that's the SGA 3 ball that has been forming this year.
- 0:41And there's something that I think has always been a little
- 0:43bit of a, a little bit of a question mark around Shay and
- 0:46it's been that 3 point consistency.
- 0:48And if that goes away as the way it's starting to look to right
- 0:51now and it becomes a consistent 3 ball, I think the league is
- 0:55going to see a back-to-back MVP by the end of the year.
- 0:57What do you what do you guys feel about Shay's insane 3 point
- 1:01shooting right now? Yeah, I mean, he's shooting
- 1:05what, like 44%? He started off the season at, he
- 1:10was shooting like 26% and in the last month or so he's been
- 1:13shooting at like a 57% clip. It looks really, really good,
- 1:18like he worked on his shot a lot since he got to OK C.
- 1:22It was super ugly when he first got here.
- 1:25Now he looks super confident, which is a good thing.
- 1:29If there was 1 flaw in his game, it was the three-point shot and
- 1:31maybe even his confidence in the three-point shot.
- 1:34He worked on it all last year. Last year during the regular
- 1:36season he got a lot of threes up, especially early in the year
- 1:40and that's something we were touching on last year.
- 1:43This year's the same, but the shot is just butter.
- 1:47If he shoots 40% from three this year, no doubt MVPI.
- 1:53Think Jack said it best. If Shay shoots 40% this year, no
- 1:56doubt MVP, No doubt NBA Finals champion, and no doubt Finals
- 2:00MVP, because he'd be the absolute complete player that
- 2:03anyone would ever want. Yeah, to get my thoughts into
- 2:08this, I would say, and he's on his 4th consecutive 30 point
- 2:14game, so he's going to start creating that streak now.
- 2:19It seems like he's moved on from the 20 point scoring streak.
- 2:22The one place that I would say like he can get, he's flirting
- 2:26with 504090 right now. And the craziest part is the
- 2:30place where he's missing out is on the free throws.
- 2:32He's only shooting 88% and A2 percentage point difference in
- 2:36free throws is a lot when you really think about it 'cause to
- 2:39get up to that higher number, it takes a lot of makes and you
- 2:43barely can miss. To shoot 90% is not an easy
- 2:46task. That's why 504090 is so
- 2:48impressive. So he's pretty much on the cusp
- 2:51of that. He's building that streak up.
- 2:53But his three-point percentage, the thing that I'll highlight is
- 2:56the attempts on it. 515.1 attempts shooting 53.4% as of
- 3:02right now. Like that's absurd numbers.
- 3:06You know, when you put it all together, like what you Joe's,
- 3:09what you said, he's pretty much become a complete player.
- 3:12He's entering that James Harden, Kevin Durant's conversation of
- 3:17all time scorers. People just are trying to ignore
- 3:20that with the free throw conversation.
- 3:22But I think that has nothing to do with the conversation as a
- 3:25whole when it comes to him becoming this complete player
- 3:29that we've been mentioning. And I think we all saw it like
- 3:33he's leader in drives. I mean, what else can this guy
- 3:36complete when it comes to his level of consistency, right?
- 3:40Like it's like Thanos, he's just collecting different skill sets
- 3:44and then he's like, oh, the last one I needed just and and I
- 3:48think that is gonna make the league vanish.
- 3:50But we got another topic coming up later talking about what's
- 3:54gonna make this league really scared.
- 3:57So. Yeah, something else Bichet is,
- 3:59you know, we've always known he's this pure scorer, but he's
- 4:01now starting to gain this archetype of a three level
- 4:04scorer, which is something that I didn't think we really
- 4:06mentioned much with him 'cause of that three ball.
- 4:08But watching it fall now, the thing that really surprises me
- 4:10is it's not the type of shots he's taking for his threes.
- 4:13It's when he's knocking them down.
- 4:15His clutch 3 point percentage is ridiculous when it's clutch time
- 4:18and we need a three bad his three, his three-point attribute
- 4:21goes up to a 99. Like he is an incredible player
- 4:25as soon as that clutch time comes, and that's just for all
- 4:27around. But it's it's specifically as
- 4:29well with the three ball, you know, it just seems to be
- 4:31falling every time we needed to in the end of the game.
- 4:33He had that huge three against the warriors where he turned
- 4:36around and he was he was talking.
- 4:38He he was real loud about that one.
- 4:40He's still barely getting away with that 3 point Sally.
- 4:42I'm waiting for someone to get upset about that.
- 4:44But until then, he's he's knocking down into ridiculous
- 4:47right right now. And and it's not like the
- 4:50difference that I think I'm seeing is last year it felt like
- 4:52he was sometimes attempting like fix threes a game, just trying
- 4:55to get them up and pretty much practice.
- 4:57It doesn't feel like he's doing that right now.
- 4:58He's taking very smart threes. He's putting up shots that I
- 5:01think he feels really confident in.
- 5:03And it's because he's not he doesn't need to practice threes
- 5:06anymore. He's he's figured it out.
- 5:07I mean, he's become a good three-point shooter and part of
- 5:10that is just knocking him down when he sees them, sees it fit.
- 5:13And that that step back 3 is is nasty.
- 5:15It really is. I mean, a lot of a lot of the
- 5:18comparisons I see are kind of to prime Harden where he kind of
- 5:21lulls the defender. He sizes him up and goes between
- 5:24the legs, hits some, hits some real slow moves and all of a
- 5:27sudden he hits a set back and you just can't make up that
- 5:29space. So he's he's becoming truly an
- 5:32an A completely unguardable player on literally every aspect
- 5:35of of the court. So if this three ball stays as
- 5:38consistently throughout the entire season, like there's no
- 5:41reason he's not going to average more points than he did last
- 5:43year. Yeah, and I kind of want to ask
- 5:45Savier a question because the more you were talking, I I know
- 5:48Savier wants and needs to answer this question right now.
- 5:52Savier if this year ends with a clutch player of the year,
- 5:55back-to-back MVP, back-to-back Finals champion, back-to-back
- 5:59Finals MVP and maybe even another scoring title, which is
- 6:03probable. But there's also some guys up
- 6:05there that like Max, he's been unbelievable this year to start
- 6:08and it's his team and it's going to be his team all year.
- 6:11So he might be up there as well. But and, and Luka Doncic,
- 6:13obviously, But if all that happens this year, I mean, are
- 6:18we putting him like, are we ready to put him like top
- 6:20three-point guard all time ever like I think you have?
- 6:25To that puts you in a crazy category.
- 6:31I was just thinking all time players.
- 6:32There's a video of me and me and Jack on the channel that you
- 6:34guys should definitely check out where we did a prediction video
- 6:37on SG as all time trajectory. I don't even know if you you 2
- 6:41have seen this video, but we reviewed all the players that he
- 6:45was around and we pretty much summed up like after the
- 6:47championship, he's at the around the 15 spot, 13 to 1512 to 15
- 6:52spot all time already with that one singular championship.
- 6:56And yeah, I know 'cause we were looking at all the accolades and
- 6:59we're like, you know, he's pretty much right there.
- 7:01This would put him that next set of accolades with another ring
- 7:06and kind of the trajectories on at the age that he's at that
- 7:09would put him into the top ten conversations and then maybe
- 7:12third or fourth ring would get him into the top five.
- 7:15But if you can win it, that's pretty much where what we summed
- 7:18up in that video. Whereas you know, he gets one
- 7:20more of these, he's right there in the top ten and then after
- 7:23that you're having top three to five conversations and then, you
- 7:29know, as you get closer to that, you know, maybe 456 range,
- 7:32that's when you can get into that top three debate.
- 7:34So he's he's getting closer and closer towards that.
- 7:38So I'm loving it. And I would say he's in my
- 7:43opinion, he's already a top ten player ever.
- 7:45But I don't really need to see any more to I don't need to see
- 7:48more rings to know what I'm watching, right?
- 7:50Like some players you can just see where they're at and see
- 7:53where they're going and he's just, he's just one of those
- 7:56guys. He's him, so.
- 7:57Yeah, I mean, top three-point guard is, in my opinion, it's
- 8:01I'm not counting Oscar Robertson right now because I don't count
- 8:05like guys like Will, not Big O, but I do count Magic Johnson.
- 8:10I do count Steph Curry, and I do count Isaiah Thomas.
- 8:13I'll do you one better, Joe. Passes Isaiah Thomas if he wins
- 8:16another championship. This.
- 8:16Year, I'll do you one better in the shooting guard range just
- 8:20from that side. Oh, he's he's top three.
- 8:23He's easily top three. I would say either top three or
- 8:26four because D Wade's still considered the third best
- 8:29because. Yeah, but if Shay wins another
- 8:31one. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you're right.
- 8:32You're right. He would enter that top three.
- 8:34So he'd be third behind as a shooting guard behind MJ and
- 8:38only Kobe. So there's only a couple of
- 8:40people that he needs to pass at the guard position overall when
- 8:43it comes to point guards and shooting guards.
- 8:45So he's right there, you know, getting into that top 10 range
- 8:49as a guard. So I I just can't believe the
- 8:52Thunder had that level of a talent after having Russell
- 8:56Westbrook, who is also in those debates, even though he gets
- 8:58ignored, put aside, but he's got 4 consecutive, you know, runs at
- 9:03having his triple double S and everything else.
- 9:05And we know how much we love him.
- 9:07And to think that we got to guard better than that.
- 9:09I never thought that was going to be possible.
- 9:11I don't know about you guys. No, it's, it's insane.
- 9:14I mean, it really is crazy. I think Shay is going to be one
- 9:17of those players that 10 years from now or 20 years from now,
- 9:20people are going to look back on and a lot of younger fans will
- 9:23wonder like, why don't we hear about people talk about this guy
- 9:25Moore, And it's well, the media tries real hard to make you
- 9:28dislike him. But if you just look at the
- 9:29stats and you just pay attention to how he played, he's going to
- 9:32be one of those guys that you're going to be like this.
- 9:33This is easily one of the best guards of the last several
- 9:36decades. So he being able to witness that
- 9:38is just crazy. I mean, it's night in and night
- 9:41out. We're watching.
- 9:42We're watching greatness. Guys, I do want to mention we
- 9:45haven't even gotten to this and I know we're hitting that 10
- 9:48minute mark, but guys, he's shooting 43%.
- 9:51He's right there in the conversations with Damian
- 9:55Lillard, Stephen Curry when it comes to three-point shooting
- 9:58and floor spacing. We know how much of you know,
- 10:00that creates on the floor spacing side.
- 10:03And that's where we should transition the conversation a
- 10:05little towards that amount of him being a magnet where he has
- 10:08to get doubled that far off and him already having the ability
- 10:12to, you know, pretty much get to the basket as fast as he can and
- 10:14as athletically as he can, where he's pretty much unstoppable on
- 10:18that side. That's the side where Damian
- 10:20Lillard and Stephen Curry didn't have that because they're not 66
- 10:23guards. SCA is.
- 10:25So it's pretty much nearly unstoppable behavior because
- 10:27it's like, all right, if you double him, he'll pass out, get
- 10:30the ball back and go to the basket and you're pretty much
- 10:32playing down a man against him. Or if you do double him or don't
- 10:36double him, he can take 3 pointers.
- 10:38It's that's even worse than if I was having to face Steph Curry
- 10:41because people talk about Steph Curry as a top #1 guard or two
- 10:44guard ever in NBA history. And I'm thinking about SGA.
- 10:47He's right there with the percentage on his three-point
- 10:50shooting. Obviously he's not doing it as
- 10:52in a fancy of a manner, but he's doing it just as efficiently, if
- 10:55not more, and he can get to the basket even better.
- 10:59So my brain just unlocked after just thinking about the force
- 11:02facing that this is creating for the Thunder.
- 11:05And I'm like, wait, he's right there with the top two other
- 11:08point guard shooters in the league.
- 11:10For me, for me, I mean, I agree, he's there.
- 11:13I mean, he doesn't shoot as many, so that kind of puts him
- 11:16apart, but we don't need him to. Three shot attempts away from
- 11:19Steph Curry if anything. So it's.
- 11:21Yeah, yeah. So it's, it's not like a crazy
- 11:24stretch. I mean, the efficiency is all we
- 11:26care about and it's been fantastic.
- 11:27For me. It's it's Kobe Bryant with a
- 11:30consistent 3 point shot. If if that's what it is like if
- 11:33he stays in the 40 range, even high 30s, it's like.
- 11:38He's MJ with a consistent 3 point.
- 11:39Yeah, it's it's tough, bro. It's tough.
- 11:42Because he's got the verticality of an MJ of a Kobe, but just in
- 11:46a different way where it's just a lot more controlled.
- 11:49And this is different, man. It's just different.
- 11:52So what do you think, Gabe? I want to hear your thoughts.
- 11:55I mean it's. Talking about.
- 11:58I know I'm exaggerating a little bit, but come on, tell me
- 12:00something. I get what you're saying.
- 12:02It's it's the idea of. For me personally, it's the idea
- 12:05of let's talk about Curry for example, like obviously greatest
- 12:093 point shooter of all time and the way he scores is is insane.
- 12:12But he doesn't have a mid range like Shay and he doesn't finish
- 12:15as good as Shay. Then you think about Dame, same
- 12:17thing as Dame. He's more of a three-point
- 12:18shooter than anything else. He's not some crazy good
- 12:20finisher. His mid range isn't close to
- 12:22Shay. Well, Shay is one of the best.
- 12:23He is the best finishing guard in the in the league.
- 12:25He's the best mid range shooting player in the NBA.
- 12:28If he starts shooting threes at the same volume as those guys,
- 12:30that's like that is unreal. That is ridiculous.
- 12:34That is a player who's got all three of those abilities
- 12:37essentially. And that's not talking about the
- 12:38defensive ability of this player as well.
- 12:40He's an incredible defender. Like he is one of our better
- 12:43defenders on this team. So I don't think you are
- 12:45exaggerating. Like I really think that Shay is
- 12:47like, if this 3 point ball truly becomes consistent, it's not
- 12:50just like he's putting up two and making one.
- 12:53If he's putting up four or five a game, he's making three of
- 12:55those. There is no reason that we can't
- 12:58say that this guy's gonna end up being one of the greatest
- 12:59players ever there. There's just no reason.
- 13:01You can't say that that is an unstoppable offensive player.
- 13:04There's nothing he can do. He passes, he creates space
- 13:06then, so now he's passing the ball.
- 13:08He's already averaging a ridiculous assisted turnover
- 13:11ratio this season. That's a whole different.
- 13:12Conversation. That's a ridiculous conversation
- 13:16on its own, but if he starts hitting that three to
- 13:18consistorate as well, there's the only thing that will keep
- 13:21him from seriously getting in the talks of one of the greatest
- 13:23players ever is the accolades and that's it.
- 13:25It's if we can then win the rings, if he can win more MVPS,
- 13:28more hardware. So no, you're not exaggerating
- 13:31he skill wise. If that 3 point becomes that
- 13:33consistent I will. You think we glacier now?
- 13:37Holy shit. Just wait.
- 13:39The Shea haters are probably in the worst place they've ever
- 13:43been in the past five years. Like my friends in my group chat
- 13:46have stopped texting. I'm not going to say the name.
- 13:49I'm not going to say. Yeah, I'm not going to say the
- 13:51name of the group chat because it's absolutely insane.
- 13:54I text you guys privately, but they've literally stopped
- 13:58texting and I have to remind them every couple months.
- 14:00Like here's a random Chase stat that you guys didn't know.
- 14:04And remember when you guys said he was not as good as Damian
- 14:06Lillard or CP3 or James Harden? And it's like he's already
- 14:10passed them last year. And now we're entering new
- 14:13talks, guys, for the Shake leaders out there.
- 14:15But we also have other news for Shay.
- 14:19You know we could ramble on so. Yeah, so with that kind of
- 14:24completely different topic here, we're talking about scale, we're
- 14:26talking about wins, we're talking all about all that fun
- 14:28stuff. But Shay did in fact just drop a
- 14:30new color line for his shoe, the Winter Red edition.
- 14:34Going with the the seasonal shoe here, definitely a a a strong
- 14:40look. You'll see a player coming from
- 14:42three miles away, but it definitely fits the, the season
- 14:46well. I actually think the red and
- 14:47green look kind of like super clean.
- 14:49Like it, it pops out and I definitely think you, you could
- 14:53look kind of goofy wearing the brightest shoes, but it depends
- 14:56on what you, what you got on what you're wearing it with.
- 14:58So I think I think they're clean.
- 15:00I I like the color scheme. I like the red.
- 15:02I like that he's trying unique stuff.
- 15:04I think he's probably one of the few guys in the shoe market
- 15:06right now that's just kind of like consistently putting out
- 15:09colorways that are different. And, and he's not just putting
- 15:12up blue and green and red like he's putting out.
- 15:14He has the, the unique blue, the, the charcoal black, the
- 15:17messy blue. Like he's putting out these
- 15:19really unique versions of colors.
- 15:21And this is just another unique color scheme.
- 15:22So not much else to say for me, but I if if I had the money I
- 15:26would buy these. Yeah, I like them.
- 15:28I like them a lot. Sorry, I was just going to
- 15:30mention they're going to look super clean at home on
- 15:32Christmas. I think we, I'm pretty sure
- 15:36we're wearing our white jerseys on Christmas Day.
- 15:39So the white jerseys with the with the Christmas colorway
- 15:41shoes are going to look fine. Yeah, and this is the only Shay
- 15:45Red colorway that he's worn where he's actually performed
- 15:48really well. Every other Shay Red shoe, the
- 15:51old Converses that he used to wear, he'd always performed so
- 15:54bad to the point where Thunder fans had to get into his DMS and
- 15:57tell him to stop wearing them and he actually stopped wearing
- 15:59them, which is one of the wildest things ever.
- 16:02But for this, his first game with these, he absolutely fried.
- 16:05So I mean, he's he's been cooking regardless.
- 16:08But if you're a sneaker fanatic, or a Shay fan, or a Thunder fan,
- 16:13or you're a family member of a Thunder fan watching us right
- 16:16now, make sure you gift this to whomever.
- 16:20I wouldn't mind somebody, you know, buying the podcast a pair
- 16:23of these. No, I'm joking.
- 16:23I'm joking. Yeah, exactly.
- 16:26Like if there's a converse person out there watching this,
- 16:28we'd happily love to make a video on these and unbox them.
- 16:32But more so than that, like if you're a family member of
- 16:36someone that is a Thunder fan, I think these would be the perfect
- 16:39gift, especially with the colorway and everything else
- 16:42like that. They look amazing.
- 16:43And I mean, what can you say? He's he can't really miss with
- 16:47his marketing decisions, even off the court.
- 16:49Like what? What can this guy not do?
- 16:52He's a creative director of his own shoe.
- 16:55And and since Gabe, you mentioned it, it's the reason is
- 16:58colorways are so unique. It's because they're unique to
- 17:01him. They all have like a storyline
- 17:02as to why he chose each colorway.
- 17:04So they're not just some basic color that he's just choosing
- 17:07out of thin air. He's like, there's a reason
- 17:10always to each shoe and everything.
- 17:12So I feel like he's spending a lot of time and energy towards
- 17:16this. And I think these come out on
- 17:18December 11th on Thursday. And I can promise you this, this
- 17:23is not inside information. This is the truth.
- 17:26If you want a pair of these, you better pay up a lot of money
- 17:30because they're going to sell out very fast.
- 17:32His other 3 colorways have sold out and they had to come back on
- 17:35the shelf multiple times just for people to get them.
- 17:38And most people still haven't gotten them.
- 17:40So these are going to be the same story, if not worse.
- 17:42Because from what I've seen, the hype around these is absolutely,
- 17:47absolutely there. So if you want a pair, I would
- 17:51try to start looking into some dealers or something, you know,
- 17:56because I don't think you're going to get them anytime soon.
- 17:59Yeah, absolutely. All right.
- 18:01Well, with that, I think we should move over to some more
- 18:03Thunder related talk and that's the fact that Mark Dagnolt was
- 18:07named Coach of the Month as well as Cason being named a Defensive
- 18:11Player of the Month. So 2 pretty prestigious monthly
- 18:13awards there for OK C is we get the coach award as well as
- 18:18casing, getting some nods as well.
- 18:19And I mean, if you guys have been following this podcast for
- 18:22a while, you know, last year some of us were a little harder
- 18:24on mark during certain times. We had some issues with
- 18:27benching, some issues, issues with subbing, issues with
- 18:29minutes. But at the end of the day, you
- 18:31also would know that even the people who doubted him, counting
- 18:34to myself, and that even the people who doubted him still
- 18:36would end up at the end of the day coming back and saying that
- 18:38we love Mark and we think he's a great coach.
- 18:40So there's not a lot of denying that.
- 18:42And I think once again, we're just kind of seeing that happen
- 18:45as Mark here gets the coach of the month.
- 18:47And it's kind of hard to believe that he like, like it.
- 18:50It's the team's 21 O1. Like you got to give some kind
- 18:54of recognition to that. And he's the coach of that.
- 18:56And I feel like he's done a really good job this year with
- 18:58giving players minutes, trying out different rotations, using
- 19:01challenges. I've really been happy with what
- 19:03he's been doing. So that's at least my thoughts
- 19:05on Mark. As for Cason, I mean, we know
- 19:07what Cason does. We we know what he's here to do.
- 19:09The Scots have been they've been posted all year talking about
- 19:12players, field goal percentages, going down the tank as soon as
- 19:15Cason's on him and his ability to just guard one through 4
- 19:19essentially and keep his hand in their face and poke a ball
- 19:21loose, all that good stuff. I mean, Cayson absolutely
- 19:24deserves A Defensive Player of the of the Month award.
- 19:26So both these are prestigious awards that I feel like we
- 19:30absolutely it's it's pretty straightforward why we got
- 19:32these. Yeah, I'm extremely happy about
- 19:34more so the Cayson Wallace Defensive Player of the Month.
- 19:37Didn't think he was ever going to get the recognition, but he's
- 19:42here and and that's a really nice award for Cayson.
- 19:45I'm sure he's happy about it. He tweeted about it.
- 19:47So it's nice, but he deserves it.
- 19:49I mean, he's a Pesti defender, can guard, I mean one through
- 19:563-4 if you want on the court. Obviously we just pulled up the
- 20:00graphic and led the NBA and steals during the month,
- 20:03deflections and defensive rate, the OKC defensive ratings top
- 20:07tier. But he's just everywhere on the
- 20:10court on defense at once. And it's clear when he's in the
- 20:13game and when he's not. I mean, we force turn turnovers
- 20:16at a super high rate, getting a transition with them on the
- 20:19floor. So very happy for Kasin, for
- 20:21Mark, very happy for for him as well.
- 20:23I think, you know, we had a love hate relationship with Mark
- 20:28throughout the season last year. But one thing we always like
- 20:31turned back to at the end of our little rants when we lost a game
- 20:34or something was well, Mark's super young too.
- 20:37Mark's learning with the players year by year they're gonna grow
- 20:41together. And I think it's showing
- 20:43obviously this year. I mean, even in the clutch
- 20:45scenarios, he's been putting in the right line UPS, which is one
- 20:47thing we kind of nitpicked last year, the right line UPS.
- 20:50He's a super efficient, what is challenge usage?
- 20:54He normally gets them right like every time.
- 20:56So Coach Mark, congratulations as well.
- 20:59I'll chime in and mention, you know, all the stuff that you
- 21:02mentioned about Cason, but also what's not mentioned on this
- 21:05graphic was he was taking over the top perimeter spot and
- 21:09starting a lot of games where in place of Lou Dort where he's
- 21:13guarding the opposition's best perimeter scores and he was
- 21:17putting up these numbers. So that should tell you that he
- 21:20pretty much deserved this award pretty easily.
- 21:23I don't think it was a hard decision for whoever was voting
- 21:26on this. And I think every month we'll
- 21:27probably have a different Thunder player getting this
- 21:30award. Probably next time it'll be Lou
- 21:32or Chet. And then, you know, every other
- 21:34month they'll just switch out a Thunder player for this one.
- 21:37But talking about Mark, the thing we were more like, we were
- 21:40only nitpicky with him really like because his defense has
- 21:43always been elite. I don't think we've ever
- 21:45mentioned his defensive anything schemes or anything since the
- 21:496th. I think this is a sixth season
- 21:51with us with us. And he's also becoming one of
- 21:53the more longer tenured coaches because that's coaches usually
- 21:56get fired pretty quick. So he's starting to, you know,
- 21:59even at a young age, he's becoming one of the more tenured
- 22:02guys. So he's going to start racking
- 22:04these awards up and you know, he's already won, I believe,
- 22:07coach of the year before. So it's only up from there.
- 22:11And now that he's kind of stopped messing around with the
- 22:13line UPS in general, like he's going to play the right people
- 22:17in the fourth quarters and we pretty much trust them too.
- 22:19So super excited about that. Yeah, also would case it, I
- 22:24mean, you mentioned it, we watched Case and guard Curry and
- 22:29guard Luca when we had those back-to-back games against the
- 22:32Warriors and the Lakers. And I mean just absolutely
- 22:35clamped them and and I think maybe it was you sat there, it
- 22:39was it was you one of our lives. You said you're going to watch
- 22:42them perform really badly against OKC and then the next
- 22:46game take the over on the players points because they're
- 22:48going to go right back to normal.
- 22:50And that's exactly what happened with Curry.
- 22:52Curry dropped like 2 or 340 point games and then against OKC
- 22:56had like 11 points. Luca Dodgers would drop yeah
- 23:00Luca Dodgers dropping 353840 every night and he has 19
- 23:04against OK, like case an unbelievable player to have on
- 23:08the court and I'm super happy we have him on the team, but well
- 23:12deserved. I I'm very surprised he got it
- 23:14and I'm very happy for him. Yeah, yeah, I'm super happy
- 23:18about it as well. I think we can move towards our
- 23:22next topic if you want to transition us over, Joe.
- 23:25Yeah. So I mean, with that being said,
- 23:29the NBA is starting to get a little nervous about OKC right
- 23:32now. They are 21 and one, they've
- 23:35been injured all year and they, they have this plethora of picks
- 23:40that they still have remaining. But the problem with one of
- 23:43these picks that the NBA is really panicking is OKC has the
- 23:46LA Clippers pick in next year's draft or this upcoming year's
- 23:49draft, I should say. And right now it's a top six
- 23:53pick, barring any, you know, lottery or whatnot.
- 23:56But if that remains, OKC has unlimited options of what they
- 24:02want to do after the season with that pick.
- 24:04They also have the Utah Jazz's pick.
- 24:08I think it's like top 8 protected or something like
- 24:09that. But what are you guys thoughts I
- 24:12mean? I I want to go first.
- 24:15Yeah, go I'm very ways they could go this.
- 24:18I want to demolish the Clippers organization right now.
- 24:21They cut their league leading franchise guard on a year.
- 24:26They're having an absolute dismal of a season.
- 24:29They did the same thing to Blake Griffin.
- 24:31They locked up freaking DeAndre Jordan and his house to re sign
- 24:34him. Didn't give him any options.
- 24:36And then they treat their players so poorly and ask you
- 24:40know why things aren't happening.
- 24:41Good for them. They have scandals left and
- 24:43right and on top of it they want to hand us all these picks
- 24:47alongside SGA. Thank you so much to the
- 24:50Clippers fans and their organization for being probably
- 24:54the worst run organization I've ever seen.
- 24:57Like they have one of the richest owners and spending all
- 25:00this money and doing all this stuff, but that does not equate
- 25:03to a winning culture. And if you're not going to build
- 25:06a culture, culture, you know, around that specific thing of
- 25:10like winning a championship, like you're really not going to
- 25:12get anywhere. And you can see that with the
- 25:14type of player that they got with Kawhi and what he does in
- 25:17his background. And I, I just, I just don't like
- 25:21it overall. And I'm happy that we have their
- 25:24pick. You know, before I felt a little
- 25:25bad for them, but I, I started thinking about all the things
- 25:28that they've done over the years and it's like, no, they, they
- 25:31deserve this. I think the way they treated Doc
- 25:34Rivers as well in the past. So yeah, I'm happy with their
- 25:38pick and I hope it goes first overall and they can watch us
- 25:40take the best NBA talent that we can possibly take because they
- 25:46pretty much deserve, deserve this.
- 25:47And we still have more picks from them even after this year.
- 25:51So they'll, they'll be continuing to give us first
- 25:54rounders. I, I'm sure James Harden isn't
- 25:56going to stay around too much longer.
- 25:58It looks like Tyloo is not. He's going to be staying around
- 26:01with the franchise too much longer as well because I don't
- 26:03think the money is going to be worth it for him to take that of
- 26:07this type of team. Like he's trying to win.
- 26:08He's a winning level coach. CP3 left for a reason.
- 26:12I'm sure Ty Lue's going to leave for a reason.
- 26:14Harden doesn't like to lose. This is his first season for
- 26:16James Harden where he'll not make the playoffs.
- 26:19That's a crazy thing to think about for a talent level as his
- 26:23even at the age of 32, he's consistently putting up 25 plus
- 26:27points like trash of an organization.
- 26:30I rarely do this. You guys know this Joe.
- 26:32Like I always talk up franchises as much as I can, but when you
- 26:37want to operate in this way, you pretty much should deserve this
- 26:41level of criticism. And I'm being pretty nice, so I
- 26:46see Gabe probably has some thoughts on the league being in
- 26:49trouble as a overall, and I'll probably get back to that once I
- 26:52calm down a little bit. Yeah, I just to immediately go
- 26:56off of before you do calm down. I'm really glad you mentioned
- 26:58the whole thing with Chris Paul, because I think that's an
- 27:00absolute. It's a dishonor.
- 27:02It's it's disgusting. It's ridiculous.
- 27:04I mean, they had a they had a tweet not even not even over a
- 27:08month ago saying that they were so glad that Chris Paul could
- 27:11retire back where it started with the Clippers again, back
- 27:14where he played with them to then just cut him just for no
- 27:17reason. Not it's not like you're
- 27:18bringing on some huge player to desperately needed a roster spot
- 27:22to just cut him like that's. The point guard's so bad for
- 27:28James Harden and they cut the one guy they have like I'm so
- 27:31confused. Based off of what Lou Williams
- 27:33said, he's on like a FanDuel sports show with Michelle Beadle
- 27:36and I'm forgetting the maybe Chandler Parsons.
- 27:39Yup, Yup, Yup. He said that Chris Paul was just
- 27:45calling people out, calling players out and calling
- 27:47management out because obviously it's a shit show over there
- 27:50right now. And the first one with the
- 27:53players, he was just like, yo, I'm just trying to like, I have
- 27:56the experience. I'm just trying to get this
- 27:57thing back on track. So they they want to win fairly,
- 28:00right When he went to the management and trashed that,
- 28:03they said go home. That's just.
- 28:05That's crazy. That's crazy.
- 28:07I mean, you know, you know that the only reason he's doing this
- 28:10is because he's trying to make the organization better.
- 28:12Like he's not just an asshole. Like he's not just shitting on
- 28:15your organization. Like he knows how much the
- 28:17Clippers gave to him. He knows how much they mean to
- 28:19him for him to try to step up and fix things and then get cut
- 28:22for that in his final season after after announcing that he'd
- 28:25be retiring after this year, they cut him.
- 28:27That's that is absolutely ridiculous.
- 28:29So savier said he's going to be nice.
- 28:31I'm going to be not nice. They're a bunch of fucking like
- 28:34that's that's fucking ridiculous.
- 28:35Like I think Clippers are one of the lowest organizations on my
- 28:38list after that. And I'm not even a big Chris
- 28:40Paul fan. Like I loved him when he he's
- 28:44frustrated me for a long time. They have everybody on the
- 28:47Internet saying that this is bullshit and people do not like
- 28:50Chris Paul like. Chris Paul has been.
- 28:52Hated and the people who hate him are like man, fuck the
- 28:55Clippers and exactly like fuck the Clippers.
- 28:57Like this is ridiculous. And like Savier said, I find it
- 29:00hilarious to know like I used to always think it was kind of
- 29:02funny that we pulled off this huge trade, but now it's like
- 29:05it's 2 middle fingers to him. It's like we we robbed you.
- 29:07We took the player who's now 1 MVP just had one of the greatest
- 29:11guard seasons from you ever because your owner was too dense
- 29:13to realize who he was trading. And in the meantime he threw A6
- 29:16picks with it too. And then three years later, he
- 29:19loses Paul George, the one that he made the giant, giant trade
- 29:22for. And as Stephen A Smith says, who
- 29:24by the way, I will always agree with Stephen A Smith here, Kawhi
- 29:28Leonard is one of the worst superstars in the entire NBA
- 29:31because you cannot have a superstar who is not available.
- 29:35Kawhi Leonard is not available. He does not act like he wants to
- 29:38be available half the time. So the Clippers are an absolute
- 29:41shame. Collect his checks and not
- 29:44caught up in his checks the. Checks that he might be getting
- 29:47funneled to him. Yeah.
- 29:49Well, that too. He's trying to get his.
- 29:51Double other side, yeah. He's trying to get his other
- 29:54money and then that's probably got a lot to do with his load
- 29:57management and everything else. Like absolutely.
- 29:59When you know he's got double the money coming in, why the
- 30:02heck would you ever show up to your job?
- 30:04Yes, if my job was to pay me double and say you don't really
- 30:08have to come in like. You bet your ass and I know.
- 30:11I have that over them I'm never showing up to.
- 30:14Work No, exactly. And they they've backed
- 30:16themselves into that corner now and to get out of it they I mean
- 30:19that's a whole other conversation.
- 30:21Steve Ballmer, especially as an as an owner, is just a joke.
- 30:24Like people think he's hilarious and he's this cool guy, but just
- 30:27a horribly he did. He he he built a new stadium.
- 30:31You're right, he spent all their money on a new stadium.
- 30:33You're right, I forgot about that.
- 30:35Just ridiculous but but. Yeah, I I kind of just hope that
- 30:38the organizational failure and mayhem over there just continues
- 30:44because Chris Paul, I mean, none of us are big Chris Paul fans,
- 30:47but we really respect what he did for OK C during his one year
- 30:51kind of sent us into where we are now, especially SGAI mean
- 30:55they're close. And listen, the pick, it's not
- 30:59guaranteed to be top top. I mean, they could go on a
- 31:02little bit of a run. They were good last year.
- 31:03They were in the playoffs. But if it stays this way, I'll
- 31:07take the lottery pick. And not for nothing, I signed
- 31:12Chris Paul to a vet minimum myself.
- 31:14Yes, me too. Also something to point out as
- 31:16well. A lottery pick in this year's
- 31:18draft is really good. This is a good draft.
- 31:21This is like I remember last year talking about that.
- 31:23I liked this upcoming draft class.
- 31:24Yeah, this is a loaded draft class.
- 31:26I mean draft. Class and the one after this one
- 31:29like these are the two loaded ones and there's and there's a
- 31:32reason Sam Presti put 4 picks in each of those and push the other
- 31:36couple seasons the other ones back so that he can get into
- 31:39these. Like people are not like
- 31:42watching what he's doing and thinking like, oh he's not an
- 31:45idiot. Like he's made-up all these
- 31:47picks and he's getting them in specific seasons where he knows
- 31:50which players are coming up. Like he's one of the best talent
- 31:54evaluators, scouts as AGM that you can probably ever find so.
- 31:59He's got the magic crystal ball that we always talk about.
- 32:01He he just knows what he's doing.
- 32:02But the the last thing I kind of want to say on this topic is the
- 32:06NBA cannot let Oklahoma City get Cameron Boozer.
- 32:09They simply cannot. If we get Cameron Boozer, we're
- 32:11winning five rings in a row. I like the Boozer shout.
- 32:15There's a lot of players, honestly.
- 32:16That are so many great players. But for me, I just want to throw
- 32:20out a quick theory. I don't want to drag this topic
- 32:22on much longer because we are kind of rambling here, but all
- 32:26right. So I think about nine years ago,
- 32:29almost 10 years ago, there was a time where a finals champion had
- 32:36a record setting season at 73 wins and it was the Golden State
- 32:40Warriors. They break the regular season
- 32:44wins record, they get to the finals and they blow A31 lead.
- 32:47Now hear me out, OK, C finals champion, reigning finals
- 32:54champion looks like they're going for the record as of now.
- 32:59I'm not I'm not rooting for this to happen.
- 33:01I'm not say they get to the playoffs and they sell it
- 33:04somehow. There's a lot of good teams in
- 33:05the West, right? There's a player on the market
- 33:08right now, similar to what happened to Golden State.
- 33:13Golden State pulled KD. There's a play it on the player
- 33:16on the market. There's a lot of rumors if he
- 33:18doesn't get treated this year, he'll definitely be available in
- 33:21the offseason. Just just putting it out there
- 33:23that maybe if OK C loses, they have a they're primed with picks
- 33:28and players to go get Giannis and try to rerun what the
- 33:31Warriors did about nine years ago.
- 33:33Just putting that out there. But hopefully we win this year.
- 33:36That's a great. Great thing that I honestly
- 33:38didn't even think about. I haven't.
- 33:39Even thought about. Yeah, I haven't even thought
- 33:42about the possibility of losing in the Finals, but I think
- 33:46that's scarier than us getting a first pick in any draft because
- 33:49we have so many picks to where I think Sam Presti would load up
- 33:54the roster. The time is now.
- 33:56Yeah, the time is now. And he's going to realize that
- 33:58too. Like your job isn't secure in
- 34:00the NBA whatsoever. You lose maybe one or two
- 34:03seasons. You could be on the chopping
- 34:06block very quickly. So he's always a patient guy.
- 34:10That organization's patient with him.
- 34:11But with this level of a roster that the expectations start
- 34:14rising, right? So.
- 34:16And if you're, if you were to lose in this year's playoff at
- 34:18any point, just look what the last dynasty did.
- 34:24It's just, it's just the lines. That's all I'm saying.
- 34:26I'm not saying it's going to happen.
- 34:27He could get traded tomorrow to the Knicks.
- 34:29I don't know. We'll, we'll, we'll see.
- 34:31I think is is the big, big sender on that one is we'll
- 34:34just, we'll sit back and wait. Before we go off the topic of
- 34:38the Clippers, the last thing I think I wanted to mention about
- 34:41them was and I already and I already forgot it so we can move
- 34:47on. We'll move on and then think
- 34:49about it. OK, well with this last little
- 34:52topic we wanted to mention here, this is a good one.
- 34:54We're going to talk about the NBA Cup as it's coming up, talk
- 34:56about some predictions, talk about our thoughts on it.
- 34:58We know that we have a match up with a team that we kind of just
- 35:02had some beef with a little bit and a really close match up.
- 35:04So let's kind of let's get into that real quick here.
- 35:08Yeah, I can kind of break it down really quick before we do a
- 35:10little bit of predictions here. OKC on the 10th, I believe, is
- 35:15going to play the Suns at home again.
- 35:17The Suns probably won't have Devin Booker.
- 35:19He had a groin injury in LA the other night.
- 35:21But OKC's hurt too. Lou Doyt remains out tomorrow,
- 35:24Caruso's still out tomorrow. And obviously Hartenstein, but
- 35:27he wasn't there for the first game either.
- 35:30First, let's just go over to the the the left side of the bracket
- 35:34here. It's OK C and Phoenix.
- 35:37And then the two three seed is LA, the Lakers and the San
- 35:41Antonio Spurs, who have been very good even without Wembe
- 35:44recently. So your guys thoughts on our
- 35:47game and then obviously the the other game as well.
- 35:51I I think we roll through it. I mean, I felt confident last
- 35:54year and we end up losing the Bucks in a really, really
- 35:56disappointing game. But I just feel like we're a
- 35:58better team this year. I feel like there's almost a
- 36:00little bit of that spite because we did lose to the Bucks last
- 36:02year. So the record means a lot to us
- 36:04this year. We've been really playing hard
- 36:06every single game, so I think we roll through that.
- 36:09Yeah, I wanted to pull up the graphic to make it a little bit
- 36:13easier for people that are watching on YouTube and make it
- 36:16easier on us as well. We can roll through some
- 36:20predictions here, but I do believe, like we'll definitely
- 36:24beat the Suns with or without Devin Booker.
- 36:26I don't really think it matters too much.
- 36:28I just think they're still missing that playmaker that I
- 36:30mentioned. Spurs could end up beating the
- 36:34Lakers. They've been really solid.
- 36:36So I think that's a toss up, honestly.
- 36:39I guess with LeBron being back and it being an NBA Cup thing
- 36:42and he loves money, an extra 500 K will motivate LeBron James.
- 36:46I do know that. So I think he would end up
- 36:49beating the Spurs on that side. On the other side, I'm going to
- 36:53have to take. I don't even know, man.
- 36:55I've barely watched much of the Eastern Conference here.
- 36:59There's some good teams. The Eastern Conference side will
- 37:01be exciting. I really, really like the Magic.
- 37:04I mean, personally, if we're talking EI would take Magic and
- 37:06Knicks, I think, I think both them can take care of it.
- 37:09But the Raptors have been good this year too.
- 37:11I mean the and the Heat as well. The Heat have been on a run.
- 37:13Those are four solid East teams. I'm a little biased for the
- 37:16Magic. I just like their team a lot.
- 37:18I like their players. I, I think that Miami, Orlando
- 37:21game is going to be super fun to watch.
- 37:22Me too. I think the Knicks will take
- 37:24care of the Raptors. The Raptors are kind of like
- 37:27they started off super good. Now they're like little banged
- 37:29up, a little injured. But we'll see.
- 37:32And for our side, I'm going to say OK, C wins.
- 37:35I'm going to put it out there. It's not going to be easy.
- 37:37If we don't, obviously we won't have Hartenstein.
- 37:40We'll see the update on Lou and and Caruso.
- 37:42It'd be really nice to have them back because Phoenix played us
- 37:45really well the first game and and they look like a very solid
- 37:49team and they're hungry as well. So and then for the Lakers,
- 37:52Spurs, if Wendy's not there, I think if the Spur, if the Lakers
- 37:56are healthy, we'll be seeing them in the semi finals, which
- 38:00that'll be fun. Yeah, I, I think, I think we'll
- 38:03meet, I think we'll meet the, the Knicks in the championship.
- 38:06That's my guess. And I, I like playing the
- 38:08Knicks. I think we play the Knicks
- 38:09pretty good. I, I think they're a good team,
- 38:11like a respectable team. I mean, obviously we know
- 38:14they're good, but I don't have a problem with the Knicks other
- 38:16than it's they're just, you know, there's a lot of history
- 38:19with the the Knicks and and some issues there, But I I think it's
- 38:22a it's a respectable team to play.
- 38:23I'd like to meet the magic. I think again, little bias
- 38:26there, but I just think we'd match up welcome.
- 38:27I think that'd be a fun team to play.
- 38:29I'd like to see I'd like to see how Paulo matches up against our
- 38:31defense. I'm curious to see him get
- 38:34tested a little bit and I I'd. Be really bad for him.
- 38:36I, I, I'd want to see him, I just, I'd just like to see how
- 38:39he, how he can handle that and see if anyone else in their
- 38:41team's capable, but. Yeah, I'm kind of, I'm nervous.
- 38:44I'm a, I'm a mental case. So pretty much I don't know how
- 38:51I don't know if the NBA wants OKC to go to the Cup
- 38:54championship and the Finals 2 years in a row.
- 38:57So I'm kind of hoping like I don't want to lose, but it's.
- 39:01Not the worst. I don't know, It's like it
- 39:03wouldn't be the worst in my mind, but my real predictions
- 39:06really quick. OK, so you should make it to the
- 39:08championship. I'm ready for Orlando to make it
- 39:11to the championship. I feel like that's kind of like
- 39:13the Eastern Conferences OKC team a little bit and they compared
- 39:16us a couple years back. Not too similar anymore, but it
- 39:21kind of. And if the Knicks have any hope
- 39:25of making it to the Finals this year, they should not win this
- 39:28Cup championship because you know, the NBA is not giving the
- 39:30Knicks NBA championship along with the Cup championship.
- 39:34Right. Yeah.
- 39:35So OK, see. Like a more competitive place
- 39:39now, like at first it was all jokes and giggles and like, oh,
- 39:42you get an extra couple 100K and now it's turned into like, oh,
- 39:45we got to win the NBA Cup for a lot of these teams.
- 39:48And I obviously did not think it would turn into what it has.
- 39:52I thought it just the. They advertised the hell out of
- 39:56it like they advertised the NBA Cup more than like the Finals.
- 39:59Like there are so many commercials and shit about the
- 40:02NBA Cup. Like personally, I still hate
- 40:04it. I still absolutely.
- 40:05I don't hate it, I understand why they do it, but I'm not like
- 40:08I'm not getting more excited as if it's not just more regular
- 40:12season games essentially. Like it just feels the same way
- 40:14to me, but like, I hate how much they're advertising it over like
- 40:18other things. Like, you know, it's interesting
- 40:20to me. But if we want, we could do a
- 40:23little preview for the Suns real quick since that's kind of our
- 40:25first match up. And then I think we have one
- 40:27more small topic to cover after that.
- 40:29But yeah, I. Mean I feel like we already
- 40:33predicted the game. I don't want to do too much
- 40:34because tomorrow. I agree, I agree.
- 40:36Well, our preview will just be obviously competitive game.
- 40:40We've we played them well last time, but no Devin Booker.
- 40:44That's that's going to make it a lot harder on and I know we're
- 40:46injured up, but ultimately, you know who's stopping Shay and and
- 40:50who's going to respond on their team if if Booker's out.
- 40:53So that's kind of my thought for that scenario.
- 40:55But with that, I think we have one more little topic we want to
- 40:58mention, and that's someone who here in OK C We we really
- 41:02respect this guy. We really like him.
- 41:03And that's Danilo Gallinari, who is now retiring, which
- 41:07unfortunate to hear. I've always been a big fan of
- 41:09Gallo. I remember watching him when we
- 41:11were frankly terrible, but feeling like he was just one of
- 41:15those guys that was just like, I don't know, there's just
- 41:17something about the way he played that was just fun.
- 41:20You know, he just, he just, he got buckets, man.
- 41:22He had such a good year with us. He was just a fun player to
- 41:25watch. So yeah, what what are you guys
- 41:26thinking about Danilo finally hitting the hitting the
- 41:30retirement stage? I believe he was a part of the
- 41:34Paul George trade if I'm not mistaken.
- 41:38I mean. Sorry, he was.
- 41:41Yeah, he was. He's a part of that one.
- 41:42So I mean, he he had a massive scoring season.
- 41:45I still think of him as like a top 10 Thunder player just for
- 41:49the amount of points that he scored.
- 41:51I think it was like 19 points per game.
- 41:52And that's still like top five in points per game generated, or
- 41:56at least you know, top 8IN as a Thunder franchise player.
- 42:00I think that's still ridiculous. When you say the name Danilo
- 42:03Galinari and that comes to mind. He also averaged that five
- 42:06rebounds. I believe we went 44 and 28 that
- 42:10season with a playoff appearance.
- 42:11So you know, still fun season from him.
- 42:14But this is a crazy stat. I did not even think about this.
- 42:18This man shot 40 1/2% from three on.
- 42:22Guess on on how many attempts he took.
- 42:26I'm going some ridiculous. I'm going like 6.
- 42:29Joe. Gallo for us probably shot about
- 42:32like 4 threes a game. Bro no, you guys are both wrong.
- 42:36This man shot 7.1 threes that's ridiculous. 40% yeah on on 7
- 42:42attempts a game that's ridiculous.
- 42:44I cannot believe we didn't keep him for much longer.
- 42:47Like I I always wondered why he we got rid of him.
- 42:50He was just so good. I don't know, I.
- 42:53Lied Gallo. I mean, it's sad that he's
- 42:55retiring, but at the same time it is one of those guys who is
- 42:57kind of like, it's not shocking that he's retiring at this point
- 43:00in his career, but. All Star, he was an All Star
- 43:03level player that season around Chris Paul.
- 43:06I think him having Chris Paul next to him and Sam Presti
- 43:09probably realizing that's like the highest value you can get
- 43:12for Danilo. But still, I'm having that
- 43:14ridiculous of a season with us is like still crazy, I still
- 43:18think. About it, Gallo was an absolute
- 43:20bucket that this is coming from the ACL injury a couple years
- 43:23ago kind of put the nail in the coffin.
- 43:25But he was great for us. He was super electric on that.
- 43:28The early 20 tens Denver teams like the I think it was like 14
- 43:33and on he played with Denver with like Kenneth Farid and then
- 43:36you know, that group was really fun to watch.
- 43:37Obviously he was a New York Knick before that.
- 43:40Danilo was always a solid NBA player and for OK C.
- 43:45Joe Danilo Gallinari was technically a teammate of Lou
- 43:49Dort. He was.
- 43:51That was crazy. That's crazy.
- 43:53So crazy. That's insane to think about.
- 43:55In the bubble at the time and Mark even remembers having him
- 44:00on the team because I think he was, that was his first season
- 44:02with us. And so Mark's comments on it was
- 44:05like he was just a really fun guy around the bubble to have.
- 44:08So I don't know, just thinking back to our Thunder.
- 44:12Legend. I will never forget the the OKC
- 44:16Thunder Instagram page posting vote Danilo Gallinari for the
- 44:19All Star game and people were like who the hell is this guy?
- 44:25Oh yeah, you, you don't get it. You don't.
- 44:27Get it every time a Thunder player's up for like an All Star
- 44:29vote. You know what's crazy I see in
- 44:30the comments? Like they say the same shit
- 44:33about Chet Holmgren. Like who the hell?
- 44:34Yeah, I know. That's so.
- 44:35I hear literally Lakers fans being like who the heck is Chet?
- 44:39Yeah, exactly. Lakers fans, dude.
- 44:41That's crazy fans. I almost just said something
- 44:43crazy but we just probably wrap up before I do.
- 44:46All right, well, we hope you guys enjoyed this episode.

- 44:51cups, always interesting as we know that's coming around, but
