- Ranch Wives: And when he's like, Yeah, like I was gonna like there was like this nice bull moose I was gonna hunt I was gonna shoot. And I like all lined up and ready to go and I noticed it had like a red tag. and he's like this was it Morris the moose? Yeah, I just Morris It was the speckled park bull. He was gonna shoot the bull. so the other night Jorim we were asleep and I hear this like bellaring And the cows never a good sign good sign. Never a good sign. Never a good sign. So it was really hot that day, and the cows are supposed to be like there's our quarter and then a quarter in between, and then the cows are at the top of the hill. And I heard this bellering and I was like so stressed out because it sounded like it was in our field. And the thing is they have to get through like the perennial ryegrass. And then our field is canola. And I was like, my goodness. Like they cannot get into our like nice grain. Like, no thank you. So I was like, I woke Jorim up. I was like, do you hear that? And then he was like, Do you hear that? He's like, yeah, that sounds pretty close. Wait, he slept through it at all. Like he didn't hear it until you woke him up. Yeah. That's him all the time though. Dead to the world. Dead to the world. Okay. Our b Dogs bark at the squirrels every single morning and he does not notice. He sleeps right through it. My daughter sleeps right through it. I cannot sleep right through it. Anyways, so then it was like midnight and he had to go up and turns out that they were just out of water. Like the water stopped working. so they needed water. And they broke into the dugout. But thankfully they did not break out of the fence and like into other fields. They just broke into the dugout. But they were so Loud bellaring and it's literally sounded like they were in our yard. Yeah, okay, so like I think anytime we hear a lot of bellering, it's we it's a predator issue. For us. That's interesting. Yeah So not always, but like sometimes you can for example, like we could hear the cows kind of bellering a couple springs ago, like in the flat, up north on the f or the north end of the flat and the dogs had come back, the big dogs, and they have a certain call. I think I've shared that. And when the oldest male is on the deck calling, you know, it's something. So he's like calling for you, basically. Yeah, like it's out of like a warning. It's kind of like a warning. Yeah, like if they can't fend off whatever it was, which at that time I think the pack was like the pack of wolves was like twelve, if I remember correctly. Like there was a lot. There's only three of them. They were outnumbered. He had come back and he ignores, like we put a collar on him or whatever, like a perimeter collar, so he stays up. But he if it's if it's urgent enough he just ignores it and he'll come right up onto the deck. And that's how you know. But you like we could hear the bellering, but sometimes it's like, the calf is on the wrong side of the fence or like whatever. But then he came home and that bell it's like a different, different bell. And you can hear it like where our calving areas compared to the house. Yeah. It's like through a creek bed, right? Like our house is right by the creek. So it carries kind of through that valley like really, really well. Yeah. so if something has like run through and spooked them like we had a bear last year, I think it was. Yeah. Again, you can like hear it is a different bellar. But if they're bellering for us, it's generally because something has come through and like harassed them. I'm sure they would bellar if the water was out. Yeah. For the most part though, I feel like they just break down the Fence into the dugout. Like I feel like they don't really beller, they're like, ooh, can't get water for some reason. Let's just bust through this fence. Mind you, we normally just like electric fence around our dugouts. It's not if they really want in there, they're getting in there. Yeah. But not very often does that happen. But like So when this is funny. When we built this fence, Jorm was like he wasn't. really part of this project, it was like the hired hands who were doing it. So then of course like there's a language barrier to start with. Yep. And then second of all, there's some things that you just like don't think you need to explain until afterwards and you're like, I should have said this differently. This differently. Because they had built this fence but never built like a gate. going into the fence or like any opening to get into the fence. So it's just like liter it was literally like a fence and Jorim was like, okay. We're gonna need to This is this is a good like experience for me and for them. Because then he's like, okay, I do need to explain like certain things that maybe I missed in other projects or whatever. Yeah, a hundred percent. Yeah. That's funny. this is kind of a weird one, but like Have you guys ever had your cows go off bellaring like if sh like during hunting season? Like 'cause you guys get a quite a lot of hunters out here. Does that set them off at all? No, 'cause nobody hunts by where the cows are. Okay. We don't let anybody hunt them. Yeah, we I was just curious. Like maybe Jorims like are brothers, but like Not over them and the boys, but not like random people. We have other fields for them to hunt. I guess when you have so much and so much of it's grain too, so it's better. Yeah. Yeah, I guess it's different. Yeah. We have like three certain we have three certain fields that people can hunt at and then the rest we don't want any hunting. We had a problem a couple years ago with our cows getting out into the neighbors all the time. And I was like Like I don't understand. Cause like when cows crash the gate, like you fixed It's obvious. But it's obvious. Like they crash the gate. Yeah. Whereas this was like it was unhooked and then like Pulled open open a little bit and laying flat. somebody opened the gate. Every day for like two weeks. And I would get like everyone was so mad all the time. And they're like, Your fences are crap. You need to fix your fences. And I was like, I don't understand. Yeah, you're like, how is this? Like, I don't I literally don't understand how are my cows? Yeah, like I have been around it. I go around it every night. Yeah. Because this seems to be a problem. Yeah. You're like checking your aware of it I don't understand I don't know, it was like two weeks in, my daughter came to our room and looked she was like, Hey mom, who's on the other side of the correl? And there was a couple guys in a side by side and they were I'm positive they were hunting on our quarter. What? And had been so they were swinging so then I like went out behind them, like kinda chased them out. They realized I think all of a sudden like that they were caught. On the other trespassing? I how do you drive like there's people all around us. Like it's not like this big empty field. And like our house is in the middle of the quarter, so you can't really see it by the from the road. Yeah. But there's a driveway. Like they pulled into the driveway and then had to go left through a ditch. Like into the bush. Into the bush. Through a gate into the bush. And So they like went into the driveway like a couple feet and turned left right there. Yeah. Yeah. Like they weren't even going in the gate. They weren't even going in the And then they went around your bush and went up. So then yeah, they were going up around and then David has it cleared with the cat and like some cat trails back there. No. And they were all over back there. And then That's so stressful you have kids! one of the cat trails came and animals all the time in that field. Yeah. Like I don't understand. I So then they got like on the other side of the corral between following a cat trail and then I think they realized what was going on. Or that they and that they were caught. Yeah, they were in trouble now. They'd gotten caught. And after that my cows stayed in. Yeah, funny how that works because your gate wasn't getting open. My gate wasn't getting they weren't crashing the gate. They weren't getting out. No, somebody was opening the gate every morning. That's wild. I actually have such an axe to grind on that like I get, to be honest, a hunter-farmer relationship is very beneficial for a rancher. For the reason being like you've got elk eating your feed. Yes. Great. Come fill your freezer with an elk. Do you know what I mean? Come tag out. That's great. Or like you've got, I don't know, problem bear in the spring perfect come get a spring bear or something. Do you know what I mean? Like you can have a really good relationship with hunters. Yeah. My ax to grind on it though is there's some entitlement. Of like, you don't get to just say what you want, or like you don't get to stop me from hunting. Yeah. I struggle with that. Yeah. There is a reason, like for us, we we don't let a ton of people hunt. There's probably like a there's like lot of people with like, well, this is the way to Crown Land, because we have Crown Land fields and stuff like that. It's like, well this no, actually this is our road that you're trespassing on to get to the Crown Land. Yeah, get go around through the road allowance to said Crown Land. We have no road allowance where we are. We have said crown land. Crown land, and then there's we have a grazing lease and then on the other side there's hunters that have boughten Yeah. Strictly for hunting. Yeah. Right. And instead of going through the road allowance where it is and hitting their land, which is on road allowance. They choose to come down the little tiny road through our grazing lease, leaving gates open all the time. We and and we struggled with it for so long. And the worst part about grazing tenure is you can't actually stop because we had a really nice fence built. Like we up like 'cause there was a fence line there, but it was old. So we fixed it all nice. Looked great. Yeah. We had a wire gate on it. It was nice and tight. They tore out our wire gate, which is technically two feet in or something. On your side. On our side of the grazing lease They tore out our wire gate, did not tore out the braces, did not put the braces back in, put in swinging gates. But now there's like a gap between our fence and the gate. Yeah. That the cows can walk through and both sides of the fence are super loose because the yeah, there's nothing there's nothing holding it. my goodness. And then they put a lock on it. And then they text and they're like, Your cows are in our field. Well no duh And I'm like, Well, obviously because you wrecked our gate. Yeah. And fix my gate. They will they will drive through, leave the gates open so they don't have to open them and close them when they go in and out of there. Yeah. And they literally would never have to go on our land. So lazy. Like go on the road allowance. Stop driving through the grazing lease Yeah. Yeah. And then they leave gates open and then they'll text and be like, Hey, your cows are out. They broke out into our field. And I'll go out there and the gate is wide open. That's crazy. Or they have it locked again and then I can't even go get the cows back in because they have the gate locked locked. Yeah. Yeah. And I was like, this is so ignorant. Like this isn't even your property and this isn't your fence. Can you you have no right. Can you fight it? Not really. We tried, like I called. Yeah. But there's not really a whole lot of ground to stand on because it's a grazing tent, like lease. Yeah. But it there has to be something of destruction of property if it's on your side. But because it probably backs to grazing tenor because it's messy. It's on the Yeah. That's annoying. Technically. Technically, yeah. That's annoying. Yeah, I d we had a fence cut when was that? We like so we like let very f not very few, but we let a select few hunt. on like our direct land. Mainly because if you get too many in there, it's chaotic. Also, depending on where we're wintering our cows, you don't want near your cows. Like so there's I have like a calendar, like a Google calendar I have. Like this. These people. This field, these people. Because you guys hunt, don't you guys do like three-day permission slips or something? Four day, yeah. Four day permissions. Yeah, so like we have like a couple people that come out and hunt, and like it's a select few but also it's like it's because you need to know the hunter coming in there that's going to be respectful. Yeah. Opening and closing your gates. So you need to have that relationship with them. And nine times out of ten, I actually believe most hunters are super respectful. But you get a couple. That are super entitled. yeah. And tend to ruin it for the other ones. Yeah. And like the other thing too is like, we'll say, these these three people can come on, whatever. But then we like had one year, like one guy texts like, hey, this vehicle is that we didn't recognize it. We have no idea who it was. Yeah. But had that hunter because there is like a back road through an old oil f like an old oil field road that if you wanted to get to the far north and you could we would never Yeah. Like there's so many backways in and out to it. yeah. You totally could. But he was a good And then all these hunters have all these apps that can tell you like where land that they can hunt on is and then they just assume that they're to So much crown land not right beside farmers. Yeah, but they like it because they want an easy access road to get it to. It's a problem. Yeah, but like okay, one of one of my really good friends, her husband hunts all the time. Yeah. And sometimes he goes to like people's places that he has had permission on and he's very like whatever. But 90% of the time he goes out onto Crown land where there is nobody close by. Like there is access. Yeah, like it's lazy. It's you have to drive out more than 20 minutes outside of Fort St. John. Yeah. So it's literally like I think it's just lazy. Yeah, I don't know. I think it's tricky too because like depending on for example, like we have lots of Crown land. around us. Yeah. But there really isn't a ton of access from the highway side, like from 73 side over. Yeah. So ours would technically be easy access. However, you do have to drive through private land to get to said Crown land. And that's kind of the tricky thing is like, yes, okay, you're going to hunt on Crown, but you have to get through private to get to Crown. Yeah. So like It does kind of come down to the dilemma of like, is there no way to get access on crown that doesn't involve going through private? Yeah. And it's fine if you are respectful and would be like, Hey, I wanna drive through. Yeah, Could I drive through? I wanna go through this is where I wanna hunt. Yeah. Well, and some are just like really I'm not gonna say sneaky because technically some have right there is rights. Like if y there's a right away Going through. There's road allowance. Yeah, there's road allowance, there's rightways. You can get into it. Mm-hmm. Even if it is private on each side. Yeah. I'm I imagine. But I always for us, like we always find hunters like scope what is it? Scouting? They're always scouting down our road by the river and it's so annoying. And it's like you don't even have permission over here to hunt. Right. Like if you wanna hunt, then g get on a boat and go up the river and that's where you can hunt. But you cannot be near these fields. Like no. Yeah. Like you can't be scouting here on these fields because technically you don't have right to be around here. Yeah. It's tricky. Like it's crazy. but yeah, well we know this guy who lives here and it's like, yeah, did you just look that up on your map who owns the field? How much? Like we had this one guy, so we had a speckled park bull. Yeah. A few years ago? So like kinda blue and white. White. Yeah. Yeah. Like Like not black, not brown. No. Blue and white. Yes. So What was he was talking to my brother in law met him out in the field or something and was like, yeah, you're hunting. Like what are you hunting for? It was out at the grazing lease So well like we technically can't kick him off, right? Yeah. And when he's like, Yeah, like I was gonna like there was like this nice bull moose I was gonna hunt I was gonna shoot. And I like all lined up and ready to go and I noticed it had like a red tag. and he's like this was it Morris the moose? Yeah, I just Morris It was the speckled park bull. He was gonna shoot the bull. He mistaken it. He thought it a moose. And he thought the bull with white speckles all over it. You have to shoot it yeah, it had to have antlers. Yeah, literally. And I don't know however many tines Like it had to be a certain But the on he was like it the only thing that tipped me off, I almost shot your brother's bull, was the red ear tag. What? As like there are so many other Yeah, there were some other things that were. A lot of other things that were going on. Things that were tipped you off. A bulls are not built like No! No. B, there's no antlers. Yeah. There's issues. We've got issues. They're not the same color. They're not built the same. But nothing about this. The only thing that tipped him off. The reason he didn't pull the trigger was that red ear tag. Was the ear tag. good. So glad you've seen the red ear tag and nothing else tipped you off. But we've lost cows out there from hunters. Yeah. Have you? I'm sure. Yeah. That's crazy. You have you? Not not due to hunters. Not that I know of. No. it probably doesn't help that they're The two places on either side of this are hunters. Like they bought the land specifically for hunting Yeah, that's tricky. We have we have one of those actually just down the road. And it's like a really we have access to land at the end of this road and then these guys have access like right at the beginning. It's just like a tiny like quarter of a mile road. And they got so mad at my brother in law. They're like drinking. They got so mad at my brother-in-law and they're like, You can't be down here. You can't be down here hunting, blah blah blah. And my brother-in-law was like, yeah, I can. Like we're our field is right there. Yeah, like we own the field. What? It's like holy that's where I like lose so much respect in hunters. Is just like when guys act like that. and it's like If you all acted like my friend's husband, you'd be golden. Everyone would love you. Yeah. It's a shame that there isn't like a standard and maybe there is like a lot of misconceptions on it. I don't know. And like I even though growing up, like we'd let people hunt. Mm-hmm. But my brothers always had like trail cams. And so like all year they were like, We want this buck. Right. And a couple years in a row, they were like hunters would come, they were like My parents, 'cause they it was the same ones every year. Yeah. And they'd come up to hunt. They're like, Yeah, but you can't my brothers want these bucks. Yeah. Yeah. You can't take them. Yeah. They're in this area. This is the trail cam footage. Whatever. Right. Yeah. And sure enough. They'd get taken. Yeah. Yeah. yeah, every time. Yeah. Yeah. We always have a couple nice big ones that get taken from other people. Or people like In Baldonal, 'cause they're like right there. yeah, but see like that's fair. Yeah. But like we had nobody. Like they would get them on our land. Which is crazy. And then you're like, Where did you get this bull? Where do you get this back from? And they were like, like, you know, that field. That's the one we told you you can't take from. Yeah. That's yeah. My brother's buck Like, seriously? Yeah. Yeah, I we like haven't had any of that like nobody's ever we did have one time like the CO showed up back at our place over by the quonset trying to figure out 'cause they were trying to get back into Crown back behind a neighbors. And it looks like there's a road. There isn't. People come down there all the time thinking that there is a road. There isn't and you have to cross a bridge. Like there's so much. COs came back and they were looking for the reports but somebody just like shot a moose and left it. Yeah. Took probably took the antlers and left it. So they'd come on our land trying to get back to it. So then Keith, 'cause of where the pin was sent, it looked like it was our land. Like in our graze not our grazing, I think in our calving area, if I remember correctly. I don't remember for sure. Somewhere. So he had to actually take them, like escort to the spot and was like, There's nothing here. But there's a really good chance that if you go back around, like showed him the way. Yeah. it would meet up and it would probably be somewhere in this this area. But yeah the CEOs like had to come out and like check that. Yeah. Which I get. That's their job. Like I under I understand that. But it's also just like yeah, due to somebody's Lack of respect or whatever. Yeah. Just causes like a lot of We had that with a deer the one time. It was like Jorim was going out, it was like one of the last days of hunting and they caught this guy who was v acting very suspicious around his pickup and he was like, no, I was just out here for a drive or whatever, you know, whatever excuse. Something was off, yeah. It was but they had taken a picture of like the pickup and stuff and then they went for a walk. afterwards like s scoping the area and sure enough there was a dead buck that was just like it was in pieces but the antlers were missing. So maybe he was gonna pack it out if it was in pieces already? Yeah, maybe. So then we called the CO and then we took him to court 'cause we were like, you trespassed and you left Yeah. Everything here. It's one thing to trespass owners I look like at least take the meat for harvest Like, do you know what I mean? Like, not that I agree with trespassing. He probab if he had it cut, he probably would to take Yeah, he was definitely taking it. Yeah. Cause the legs were caught. But that's also super ballsy to like just leave it. Do you know what I mean? Yeah. I don't know. Yeah, I got w this isn't my direct story, but this is a story from a like a friend Acquaintance. Acquaintance, a friend, whatever, of my father in law's the cattlemans, they had sh so They were on their like they were walking. There was like a ridgeline above. It was elk season, if I remember correctly. And they were walking through their field. Somebody shot above them, shot the elk. They so then they came up and was like, what the heck? Because nobody had permission at the time to be like out where they were. Yeah. Not only that, you should not be shooting in an area that somebody's also walking through. Did they see them? I don't I have no idea. Don't know the I don't know the behind the scenes. You would think because they were like right under this elk. Elk. So you would think. I don't know though. Anyways. Except for if somebody's just like looking through their scope and not like taking it away and actually like Yeah, I have no idea. Yeah, like crazier things have happened. 100%. But anyway, so then this rancher and his son, I think, is who it was. went up and was Hey, what the heck? Not only are you not supposed to be here, but you also shot like in our direction. Yeah. Which is terrifying to me. Even if you are shooting up, like crazier things happen. What if you're a terrible shot? so anyways, then they called the CO and whoever this guy was that did this, got into a scrap with the CO about it. What? Yeah. Scrap the CO. So then the son had to help g give a hand to the CO. And get the guy sorted out. my goodness. Can you imagine? No. Not only are you trespassing, you're so des and then the guy was like, like kinda the fact of like you've got no right to tell me what to do. Like what or something to that, you know what mean? I can do what I want. No. That's not really how that works. It's the entitlement that I don't like. Yeah. And they'd probably flip it on us, be like, You're so entitled to have that much land. Get it and you can't keep us from filling our freezer, like whatnot. But And you know what I found is like typically in our area, a lot of the trespassers are from like Vancouver or something. Because the guys are up here for work. Yep. And then they wanna get something and then it's like just call and ask. And if we say no, then respect. Especially 'cause like nine times out of ten of one guy says no, somebody else will say yes. Yeah, like call neighbors, that's fine. Yeah. Okay, I can give you some other numbers to call in this area. And there's some people that actually want somebody to hunt in their place because they have an animal problem. Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. We have an elk problem, but it's typically when it's not elk season. Elk are ridiculously smart. They are so smart. We had a one guy. I had a guy camp I think was like the whole four days he was out and then I had another guy like the four days after that or something. It was like a couple weeks in a row. Nobody saw one Elk out. Yeah, not not a single comes. Winter comes. And they're at the y stack yard There they were. We had one day the grain bags. They to the grain bags. Yeah. You guys gonna fence them or what do you do? Yeah, we fence now. Yeah, that's brutal though, isn't it? Yeah. Yeah, I don't we Like we have a couple cows. Yeah, well that's a whole different story. But they eat your cows, not your cow's food. Yeah, so worse we do like we've had a couple elk come through, but they generally go between us and a neighbor. Right. And so the one guy that comes the one family that comes and hunts on our place, they almost always have to call that neighbor because that herd has not like has gone from our there's like a trail he a very defined trail. Yeah. Because I think he has permission from both of us now. I think the one time they shot it on ours and then had to go recover it. Right. Just a pond. Just passed. Yeah. Because it's I don't know. It's it's which like can happen. Yeah, which because you can you can end up shooting on like getting one and then it ends up running to the neighbors. Well and especially 'cause like the fence back there. It happened to my cousin. He came and and They shot on ours and had permission and stuff. And then it ran across the road onto the neighbors. Yeah. And then the CO got called on them. Mm. Yeah, you need permission which to was hard. Pick that up from somebody else's yard because you're trusting. Which technically they had permission. Then why did they get the CO called? 'Cause they had said they were out for the weekend. I don't know exactly the details of it, but they said they were out for the weekend. They were hunting on our place wondering if they could not even like hunt but just like, you know, go out, whatever. They'd talk to both. And they got it like the last day or like the Monday morning. And so they were like, you only had permission for the day before? So like Yeah, it was really dumb. And see like yeah, like I think for example like the one fence that we have that runs between us and a neighbor, we technically own like thirty acres or twenty acres of bush that's never been Yeah. Done with and he owns the field on this side north and the other side. Like it's just the weird split of that quarter. Mm-hmm. We own like a small section across the tracks, the train tracks. Yeah. That we've just never that you don't do anything with don't do anything with. So even if that like if it was shot there, it cross he'd still have to call that neighbor. Yeah. Which I mean they all have pretty good relationships now with them. But yeah, like almost never is it do they re I think actually one of our one of Keith's buddies got a deer on our place. yeah. Last year probably. Yeah. And one one got a moose, but like do you know what I mean? Like for elk, they always seem to just like disappear. But those the family that comes out or the boys that do come out that kinda go between us and our neighbor, they almost one of those brothers always seems to get an LEH and so they're doing it like January, February, right? Dead of winter. That's like when the elk are really best shot. Active. Yeah, best shot. Yeah. But yeah. I don't know, I I I do think there and I'm sure there is, but I it would be nice to have like some sort of better relationship in some ways with s hunters or like a standard across the board of like what's the middle ground so that you're not like don't cut my fence. Like we had somebody cut our fence. We haven't we haven't caught anybody necessarily out there but some somebody came down from the Crown Land 'cause there's like where they put that fire guard a few years ago, that neighbor north of us He had his fence cut and all of his heifers. He I think he ended up having to wind up like I wanna say it was like six hundred or eight hundred animals that just got dispersed because they cut his fence. And so they cut it, then they went through so then he had cut his heifers ended up with in our group 'cause they walked down that old trail line. Yeah. Just ended up in our graze like part of our north field slash into the grazing tenure probably. Yeah. So he called us and was like, yeah, like those are mine, whatever. He came had to get a portable system. But he had been rounding up cows for like I think he said like six or seven days. Because they were spreading. They're just everywhere. It was like a group of twenty. Like if they're in neighbors, well, some neighbors understand. Mine don't. Yeah. So when mine get out because somebody did like cut the fence or something, mine don't understand. Yeah they're just mad Some very angry neighbors. Yes, I am. Yeah. I don't know, like for the most part we have good working relationship with our neighbors, I'm sure. Like some are better than others. But like it is frusturating because I said to Keith, I said that sucks because all those an so one fence cut, they caught the guy on trail cam. They know it's like there was a trail camera in that area for whatever reason. Yeah. Caught them on trail cam. But I was like, yeah, that does suck though because 600 head or whatever it was that got out. It takes it doesn't they go off with like a group or twenty and then a group of a hundred. We had a group of like seven or eight, I think. Yeah. So you then have to set up, get your horses, haul them out of there. And one, we had to wait till the end of Roundup because Like when we rounded our calves up because we couldn't she was crazy. They could not get her in. No matter what they did. Really? So it's so much time. Yeah. For something that like you didn't you shouldn't have been there, first off. Secondly, you've done destruction and cause so much more work. Chaos. And like we had that on the Northfield, they cut the fence coming out. It looks like they took the same trail down. Yeah. Took it, quad it all the way down, and then realized they couldn't get anywhere. Cut the fence and then somebody met them, must have came with a truck on the other side, came up a road. Like the old oil field road and loaded up. But Keith like, man I'd almost thought like I think he like, I'd rather them like leave a note like, sorry, I cut your fence. Yeah. Like, hey, I had to cut this fence because I came down this way and then I couldn't get back. Whatever. Yeah. Cause at least then we wouldn't have spent time trying to round up cows who'd gone into Crown because they walked through a cut fence. Yeah. Do you know what I mean? Like that's yeah. That's the unfortunate. Can we just not cut fences? Like anybody's fences. Like it doesn't matter where you're in somewhere. So then turn around and go back out the same way. Yeah. Like it's crazy. Yeah. Anyways, I guess that's enough of a hunting rant. Yeah, we really got on. But we did. We did get on a bit of a rant. Anyways, we should do a husband shout-out. Yeah. Who wants to go first? Lacey can go first. Well, like this man. This this man This man after like being in Vancouver like two and a half weeks or almost three, whatever it was. Yeah. like total emotional support. Like he's always like got it. Yeah. I love that. And then we come home and he like goes to work. He leaves at five in the morning and gets home at like seven. And then he's building our house and like he doesn't quit till midnight. my goodness. Like Do you guys have lights set up? Yeah. wow. Well like a light. Yeah. Something. He can see. He can see. my goodness. And there's things where I'm like, okay, like I think like standing these beams or putting these in, like you could have helped but no. He just like he he does it. Yeah. wow. bless Okay, go next. I don't even know what I'm shouting out. Jorim. You're shouting out Jorim. The man in your life. The one and only. The the one and the one that you will not see for the next six weeks. I can go. Shout out to Jorim for being gone for the next six weeks. Just kidding. no. So funny. no, like just every time he's Home, he's like present, which I feel like I say this every single time. We're in such a busy season of life that it's like so nice. It really means a lot. To have him home. Yeah. And have him I'm like, hey, can you do this and this in the yard? And then he'll just like go and do it and not like Huff and Puff. Yeah, he doesn't huff and puff about it. He's just like, Okay, yeah, totally. Or I'm like, hey honey, on Sundays I'm like, here's my list of things to do. My honeydo. My honeydo list. And he's like Okay. So that's nice. That's good. Yeah. Mine is similar. Shout out to Keith. He's been like ten out of ten in helping me, with things around the house, which is kind of my domain, not really his, but because I've been helping with hay and it's just been chaos with the wedding that we had and all these things. He's just like jumped in, like, I'll just quickly do dishes or like It's it's small things. Mm-hmm. Or like sweep my floors. Ooh. Minimal. He cleaned the deck the other day. Like such a small thing. Yeah. Ten out of ten. We love it. Yeah. Love it. Great. Yeah. Amazing. We love our husbands. Shout out. We do. We do. We do. We do. All right, team. Have a good week. Have a good week.
