- 0:00Is silver ready to do it again? New all time highs.
- 0:04We got a lot to cover today. Silver and gold doing some very
- 0:09interesting things. We got a technical analysis to
- 0:12look at. We have fundamental analysis to
- 0:14look at. We even have macro data to look
- 0:17at. All of us giving reasons and
- 0:18examples why I think right now, not only on the long term but
- 0:23also the short term, we can be super optimistic about where the
- 0:28precious metals prices are going.
- 0:30And I have a new angle on what's going on in silver in
- 0:34particular. 2 paragraphs from probably the smartest guy out
- 0:39there in the world of precious metals.
- 0:41A new angle, something hardly anybody's talking about, but he
- 0:45is. And I think it's reason for us
- 0:47to be super excited about what's happening right now in the
- 0:50metals markets. Thank you for being here.
- 0:53I almost forgot the most important part.
- 0:55That's you, right? This is not possible without
- 0:57you. Thank you so much.
- 0:58Please subscribe to the channel, give the video a thumbs up and
- 1:02leave the comments in the comments section.
- 1:05We super appreciate you Now let's go out and get an update
- 1:08on the markets. Did we close above the critical
- 1:13$80? We talked about it all last
- 1:15week. How important closing above
- 1:17$80.00 was, is in the silver market.
- 1:20And here we're looking at the July futures price from the
- 1:25COMEX, our good friends at the COMEX and we did indeed, we
- 1:28almost closed at $81.00 in the silver market.
- 1:32But guys, look, I think the most exciting thing to look at on
- 1:37this chart, let's get that out of the way, is, is this right
- 1:41here again? You know, if we go back to early
- 1:45February and just look at the foundation that's been built,
- 1:49we're going to look at some of the technical stuff that
- 1:52happened last week and why that's such a big deal.
- 1:55But we have formed an incredible strong base.
- 1:58Oh, and by the way, basement dwellers, that's what we call
- 2:02ourselves down here in the basement.
- 2:04Let us not forget that one year ago today we had a silver price
- 2:08of only $33.44 per oz, and today we're talking about $81.00.
- 2:15And today we're talking about why the gold and silver price
- 2:20are set up both on a long term basis, but more importantly for
- 2:24us right now a short term basis to go much, much higher.
- 2:28Let's start by looking at some more charts and this is getting
- 2:32interesting. We're going to go to Rashad and
- 2:35we're going to talk about gold. First.
- 2:38Another breakout is about to take place from gold's six month
- 2:42bullish triangle formation. Upon successful breakout, gold
- 2:47should be able to reach 7 to $8000 target by late summer
- 2:532026. And we are seeing this
- 2:56everywhere. We talk about it every day
- 2:59because it is so important these wedge patterns that are forming
- 3:04in the precious metals as we are in a big uptrend.
- 3:08Look, the last time we broke out of the wedge pattern in gold, we
- 3:12shot up significantly higher. This time we're we're doing it
- 3:16again. And the likely and it's not just
- 3:20Rashad, right? It's JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley,
- 3:24Goldman Sachs. It's a host of other people
- 3:27talking about how we can get much higher gold prices through
- 3:30the end of the year. But let's switch over to silver
- 3:34because you've probably this is this, this chart has been shared
- 3:40all over. This is the silver chart.
- 3:43These are weekly candles. OK.
- 3:46This right here was the $120.00 range.
- 3:51What January 28th we broke all the way down to about $60.00.
- 3:56Each one of these candles on this chart represents one week.
- 4:00And guys, the big news of the week again with us closing where
- 4:05we did, is that we have broke out of this wedge pattern.
- 4:09It is a very, very good sign from a technical analysis
- 4:13perspective. And again, the important thing
- 4:16to remember about what was happening in here during this
- 4:20process was consolidation, absolute consolidation.
- 4:24Now, let's see what Rashad is saying about targets for silver.
- 4:29He's telling us that once silver successfully clears the $83
- 4:33level, which could happen next week.
- 4:36Look, you know I don't make like price predictions on a super
- 4:40short term price predictions on a on a very regular basis.
- 4:43But I will say that I do believe I feel very strongly like maybe
- 4:4872% that next Saturday when we're talking we're going to
- 4:53have a silver price above $83. I'll even go out on a limb and
- 4:58say that I think we'll be at $85 plus, but the next price target
- 5:03here for silver, $83, after that, $90.00, after that $96.
- 5:12And from there we just go higher and higher and higher and
- 5:16higher. Now I want to talk to you about
- 5:19something different with silver. But it's also, this is like, I
- 5:22think, probably 1 of the strongest factors that on a
- 5:27short term basis, outside of all those charts and wedges and cup
- 5:30and handles and all that stuff that I love and that do make
- 5:34sense. But this is more of a solid
- 5:36piece of information about silver that I think on a short
- 5:40term basis could lead us to much, much higher prices.
- 5:44This comes from Rafi Farber from the in game investor sub stack.
- 5:50OK, Rafi. Rafi is loved and respected.
- 5:54He dives into much more of the actual numbers, technical data
- 5:58coming out of the exchanges and guys, there's something that I
- 6:02hope this makes as much sense to you as it does to me that I
- 6:06think is incredibly optimistic about what's going on right now
- 6:11in the silver market. Silver is a loaded spring if
- 6:20there ever was one. All right, let's go down and
- 6:23here are Here's one paragraph. But then we got two more.
- 6:27Silver is a loaded spring if there ever was one.
- 6:30If you take a close look at the end of this chart where the
- 6:34rectangle is, you'll see something that would be
- 6:37considered insane only two years ago.
- 6:42And what this chart is showing is open interest in the silver
- 6:47market, in the COMEX silver market.
- 6:51And guys, it has completely collapsed the box, the
- 6:56rectangle, you can see it right there, OK, What does this mean?
- 7:00This is so important for I think what can happen on the short
- 7:04term in the silver market. This is showing that number one,
- 7:08before we go there, people are losing faith in the paper
- 7:12market. There's not as much activity,
- 7:15liquidity going on in the paper market because the physical
- 7:20market is taking over because China and India, right, both of
- 7:25which have 1.4 billion people are taking over the the physical
- 7:31price, the price setting of. But when we look at the paper,
- 7:35these are the two markets. I know it looks like a rainbow
- 7:37explosion, but guys, follow with me here because this is powerful
- 7:42about what's happening, he says. I'll explain.
- 7:46Silver liquidity is probably as low as it's going to get.
- 7:51Speculative positions are at a minimum.
- 7:55Open interest remains below 100,000.
- 8:00That means any small increase in speculative bullishness will
- 8:06move the price a lot higher, whereas any decrease hasn't
- 8:12seemed to move it at all. So when the when the open
- 8:16interest, when this, when the trading volumes get so low.
- 8:20There's an old saying in the world of of stock trading, any
- 8:23commodity trading price follows volume.
- 8:27So when the volume does pick up, right, it could make a huge,
- 8:31huge impact on the price. But he goes on to say, whereas
- 8:36any decrease hasn't seemed to move it at all.
- 8:41OK, the price this is also key is $20 higher 25% than at the
- 8:48low than at the Lowe's and open interest is much lower than it
- 8:53was at the Lowe's. So two big things here.
- 8:56Number one, right. He's saying that this this
- 8:58collapse that we had in open interest, which in theory should
- 9:03have decreased the price of silver, that didn't happen.
- 9:07The price actually went up. And the bonus on top of that is
- 9:12that if volume does pick up, and it probably will, that could be
- 9:17a massive catalyst for a quick, quick move higher.
- 9:21He goes on to say in red, a big move in price on a tiny move in
- 9:27higher on a tiny move higher in speculative positioning is
- 9:33exactly what we've seen in the rectangle.
- 9:37All right. We're going to look at that in a
- 9:38minute because we've got more up to date data on volume.
- 9:41We're going to look at it's about $10 on about 2100
- 9:46contracts and open interest. That means if and or when
- 9:52there's a sudden awakening in speculative fervor for silver
- 9:56and open interest jumps, say a reasonable, reasonable number
- 10:01like 115,000, the price should increase wildly like 20 or even
- 10:08$30.00 in a day or two. This is completely realistic and
- 10:15it's why he bought calls apparently.
- 10:17And and it you can subscribe to him on this sub stack and he I
- 10:20guess he shares what his trades are, why he bought calls, why he
- 10:24bought, why he made a bet that the silver price is going to go
- 10:27much, much higher. So guys, there you have it.
- 10:31I mean, I love that because everybody talks about the
- 10:34charts, but Rafi really digs in and I think shows us something
- 10:38that is incredibly optimistic about.
- 10:40What's that? Yeah, sure.
- 10:41The volume in the futures markets and yeah, it's all
- 10:44paper, whatever, right? But if that volume just picks up
- 10:49a little bit, right, it can have a massive immediate impact on
- 10:54the silver price. And like he said, right, and
- 10:58like we've talked about many times, right, the sentiment in
- 11:01the precious metal sector over the last 6 to 8 weeks has been
- 11:06completely in the dumps. And that's OK, because Despite
- 11:10that, despite the sentiment being so horrible, OK, despite
- 11:15the volume, the trading volume in silver being so horrible,
- 11:20silver held the line in silver actually went up in price.
- 11:26It hit a low of what, $61.00? Where did we just look at?
- 11:30We're at $80. I'm telling you, if now and
- 11:35it's, it's happening, I'm, I'm, it's from a technical analysis
- 11:39from the, from the volume. And people are gonna, I think, I
- 11:42think potentially, please don't make any financial decisions
- 11:46based on what I'm saying. But it feels like we're on the
- 11:49cusp of a wave of a new of a new massive amount of people getting
- 11:55back into silver. Everybody heard about silver
- 11:59back in January, right? It was kind of like a little
- 12:02mania that occurred that was nothing that I think was just a
- 12:07a taste of what's to come. So it's going to be very, very
- 12:10interesting if you right, if you have a good long term view on
- 12:14silver and want to get your hands on some silver, check out
- 12:17channel sponsor First Mint. They are a silver specialist
- 12:22mint. They're the only one around that
- 12:25I know of, right? They're actually owned by First
- 12:28Majestic Silver. So they get their silver
- 12:31directly from the silver mine, from the mine to the to the
- 12:35meant and then directly to you. It never gets touched by the
- 12:40COMEX. It never gets touched by the
- 12:41LBMA. If you want to be part of the
- 12:44silver movement, right? Like we believe in the long term
- 12:47value, the long term wealth that can be great at created by
- 12:50silver if you believe in that. And if you want to take silver,
- 12:54literally take silver off the market that's coming straight
- 12:58out of the ground first meant that's the way you can do it.
- 13:02But on top of that, they've got like great prices, great
- 13:04selection, great service, great website that I'm going to show
- 13:07you right now. And then I'll show you the five
- 13:10ounce bar that I have from first Mint, which is absolutely
- 13:14incredible. They've got a special on their
- 13:17Liberty bars right now. You can go out here to 1st
- 13:19mint.com. They got the Las Vegas round.

- 13:45lovely host who's out running around picking our daughters up
- 13:48right now. But this 5 oz bar and I love it
- 13:52also. It just is perfect.
- 13:55I mean check that out. Who doesn't love holding silver?
- 13:58That's the five ounce bar from first mint.
- 14:01Look at their logo on there. Everything about first Mint is
- 14:04awesome. The the most important thing
- 14:07that I love about it is the feedback that you guys the
- 14:09basement dweller community like we love stacking silver.
- 14:13We love taking silver off the market, but we love getting a
- 14:16good price, great selection, great customer service, right?
- 14:20It's a premium retail experience and the positive feedback you
- 14:23guys give me about your experience with First Meant
- 14:27means everything. Thank you.
- 14:28First Meant for sponsoring Ron's basement.
- 14:30Oh, I almost forgot. Remember we talked about
- 14:33decreasing volume. But if the volume does pick up
- 14:37at the Comex, well, guess what? Like Raffy said, it did pick up
- 14:41a little bit yesterday. Let's go check on our friend the
- 14:44dude, right? We love him.
- 14:47He puts out the silver data on a daily basis yesterday.
- 14:52I'm sorry. Yeah, that was that this is
- 14:53actually Thursday, Thursday when silver went up it that there's
- 14:58the, there's the higher volume, 372 million paper contracts.
- 15:03OK, talks about deliveries. He says do you think we could
- 15:09see $100 silver by the end of the month?
- 15:12It's about to get exciting. We agree dude.
- 15:15We love you my man. Us basement dwellers, we are
- 15:18with you. We believe in the long term.
- 15:20That's why I started this channel 3 years ago.
- 15:23I believe in the long term value of silver.
- 15:26He says. I'm waiting for the miners to
- 15:28really get going. So we saw two things here.
- 15:31We saw an increase right in the paper trading, which created an
- 15:36increase in the price, but also, lest we not forget, 372 million
- 15:45ounces of paper in one day. That's the equivalent of almost
- 15:50half of what the entire world silver mining industry produces
- 15:56in one year. In one day they trade, they
- 15:59trade paper make believe Fantasy island deplane deplane, right
- 16:04like that too from fantasy Island silver.
- 16:07That's what we call it basement dwellers comex fantasy island
- 16:11silver In one day they trade half as much as the entire world
- 16:17mining of industry can produce in one year.
- 16:21OK. And the miners are working seven
- 16:23days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days.
- 16:27Those people on the COMEX, they work like 6 hours like four days
- 16:31a week on average. They get every holiday known to
- 16:33man off and then they get then they get time off when the when
- 16:39the COMEX has to shut down because their servers overheat.
- 16:44I mean, what the heck, right? Oh, by the way, warning, don't
- 16:48be surprised if we see some strange thing happen at the at
- 16:53the paper exchange in the coming months if and when these prices
- 16:57accelerate out of control like we're talking about now.
- 17:02Let's say we get moving. Are you ready for the silver
- 17:05price and gold price to really get moving again?
- 17:09Again, I don't have a crystal ball, but I think we're on the
- 17:12cusp of something very, very major.
- 17:15We are reliving the 1970s. OK, That's a fact, guys.
- 17:21But there's a big, big, big reason why that's important.
- 17:25And let's look at that right now, because in the 1970s, OK,
- 17:33silver crashed by 45%. Does that sound familiar?
- 17:38Did that happen just back at the end of January, early February?
- 17:43It happened in the 1970s. Also.
- 17:45Remember the 1970s when silver went from like, I don't know,
- 17:49under $2.00 to over $50 during that period?
- 17:53Well, during that period the silver price crashed by 45% and
- 17:59you know all those people out there that don't believe in
- 18:01silver, who we like to call the sheeple, they were like, oh,
- 18:07silver's done. People sold, right?
- 18:08We can sold just like happened over the last three or four
- 18:13months. Smart hands held.
- 18:16But what happened in the 70s, silver then ran at that point
- 18:20from $6 all the way to $50, which is like 8X8X, not 8
- 18:29percent, 8X800 percent, $6 to $50.00 in 14% in, in 14 months
- 18:38and eight or 700% move. No, I think that's like 800%.
- 18:44I, I, I, unless my math is off and there's a picture of your
- 18:48silver stack that you have in your basement.
- 18:52But now look, you know about silver, I know about silver, we
- 18:59know like again, that's why I started this channel.
- 19:02I believe in silver, I believe in gold, I believe undoubtedly
- 19:07in the in the future value that's going to be created in
- 19:10the metals and the mining stocks.
- 19:12When the rest of those people, the sheeple start to join us,
- 19:16okay, it's going to get crazy. What's going to get those
- 19:19sheeple to join us? Mainstream media, We're going to
- 19:22talk about that here in one second, but you guys keep that.
- 19:25Why? Why I started the channel?
- 19:27I'll tell you why I started the channel for two reasons, guys.
- 19:30I was 52 years old. I was going to get ready to, I
- 19:34guess permanently retire, but I knew I had something else in me
- 19:37and I knew that I believed in the future of gold and silver.
- 19:41And I love creating. I love connecting with people
- 19:45and what an incredible period of time that we live in right now
- 19:49that we are all together, all of us right basement dwellers.
- 19:53We love silver and gold. We believe like 100%.
- 19:57I believe the silver price can get the 606,600 thousand.
- 20:02What? Whatever and to be able to share
- 20:04that, to be able to do it on this platform with you with this
- 20:07modern technology is really, really a gift.
- 20:10So people keep asking me like why you know, and I and I and I
- 20:14was, I was at a point in my life.
- 20:15I'm sure you've been there where I was like, what am I going to
- 20:18do? Right?
- 20:19What, what, what you know, I kind of felt like a I'm not a
- 20:22loser, but I was very confused. Even though later in life, I
- 20:26guess you're supposed to have to figure it out.
- 20:27It took me till I was 52. And I just want to say thank you
- 20:31to all of you out there who helped build this channel.
- 20:35But we like to have fun, OK? We like to not make things real
- 20:39complicated. And I like to make it so that
- 20:42everyone feels welcome and that we can welcome new people.
- 20:45And if we can do that by education, if we can do that
- 20:49with some humor and with our gold bear, right?
- 20:53And our oh, there are silver, right?
- 20:55We had our silver bear who was blind old to 85.
- 20:59What a great thing. It's a big honor.
- 21:01So I just wanted to share that with you.
- 21:02But when now here's the thing. There's going to be we've got
- 21:05thousands of people, almost 500 on this live stream right now.
- 21:09But by the time this gets watched, there will be 10s of
- 21:12thousands of people. But there's going to be more
- 21:15people joining us in the basement.
- 21:17There's going to be more people joining us in the gold and
- 21:20silver sector. And we are so small still right
- 21:24now, right? Then again, it's kind of like
- 21:27what Rafi said about the trading volume at the Comex with silver,
- 21:31just the smallest increase in people joining us.
- 21:34Those will be new people in that will be new money coming into
- 21:40precious metals. Those will be converted cheap,
- 21:43right? They come join us.
- 21:44It will make a major impact. But what's going to make that
- 21:48happen is when there's more mainstream knowledge, mainstream
- 21:53attention on silver and it's starting to happen and gold as
- 21:57well, because we got this. One of you, one of you guys
- 22:00shared this with me and said MarketWatch, who never has
- 22:03anything to say about gold or silver and usually not very
- 22:07positive, put out a special bulletin yesterday, right with
- 22:12the headline. Gold has climbed back above a a
- 22:16key trend line or more gains on the way.
- 22:21And yes, they are. But then we get this from
- 22:24mainstream media, the biggest. We got to share it two days in a
- 22:29row because this is getting famous on the Internet.
- 22:32Jim Cramer on CNBC said he's not bullish on gold right now.
- 22:38And the gold and silver community jumped all over this
- 22:41with joy because everybody knows they call it the inverse Kramer
- 22:46indicator. The the Kramer is usually wrong.
- 22:50So that we got #1 attention to gold from CNBC mainstream media,
- 22:56attention on gold from MarketWatch mainstream media in
- 23:00the fact that Jim Cramer is saying that he's bearish on gold
- 23:05is a good, good, good thing. OK, It's OK, right?
- 23:09We don't, we don't, we aren't. We don't have to be friends with
- 23:12everybody. All right, guys.
- 23:13The number one thing that we're going to talk about, the number
- 23:20one thing that's going to get us to silver prices of 102 hundred,
- 23:26$300 per oz silver, gold 7008 thousand, who knows, maybe even
- 23:32much higher. We talked the other day about a
- 23:35$25,000 gold prediction is inflation is money printing and
- 23:41this data is absolutely stunning.
- 23:44It's happening now, it's happened.
- 23:46It's going to continue to happen.
- 23:48Let's take a look at what this is.
- 23:50This is take your blood pressure medicine because you can thank
- 23:53the Fed and you can thank Washington DC for this.
- 23:58Ronnie Stoeferly gave the man said this.
- 24:02Since 1900, the United States M2 money supply, the M2 money
- 24:08supply is the measure of all the paper money out there, all the
- 24:13liquid money out there. It's a little broader than the
- 24:16M1 money supply, but it basically measures all the money
- 24:19in bank accounts, money market accounts, all that stuff.
- 24:22OK. It grew from 1900 from 9
- 24:29billion, OK, 9 billion all the way to 23 trillion, OK On a per
- 24:38capita basis, that means on a per United States basis, per
- 24:43United States citizen basis, I apologize.
- 24:46This represents an increase of more than 540 times from 100.
- 24:56And I think he, I think he actually misspoke here.
- 24:58From A109118 whatever per citizen, $109 per citizen to
- 25:06over 63,000. Now why is this important?
- 25:11Because this represents inflation.
- 25:20I'll abbreviate it. OK.
- 25:22In 1900, there were 109 U.S. dollars.
- 25:25We were on the gold standard. Things were good in this
- 25:28country, OK? As you can see, over all those
- 25:32years, it kind of barely went up, kind of barely went up.
- 25:36This is right about when they took the United States off the
- 25:41gold standard. And do you see what happened
- 25:45from there? OK, the amount of money, paper
- 25:48money. That's just paper.
- 25:50This is all. Hold on, let me get a different
- 25:52color. What do you say?
- 25:55I'll pick a color. OK.
- 25:56I know you picked green. This this increase, right, Is
- 26:02all paper money made out of nothing, made out of nowhere,
- 26:07just created straight out of thin air that created massive
- 26:12inflation, OK? Inflation and devaluation of the
- 26:19US dollar are the exact same thing.
- 26:21What happened? Let's go back.
- 26:23What happened also during this period when that when that
- 26:27occurred, OK, the dollar lost 99% of its value versus gold
- 26:3498%. I've heard some people say
- 26:3699.3%. No, you get the point.
- 26:39OK, this right here in 1971 is when President Richard Nixon
- 26:46went on TV on a Sunday night and said, my fellow Americans, I'm
- 26:50full of crap. And guess what?
- 26:54We can't we, we, we, we need to print more money.
- 26:57So as a result, we're going to temporarily, temporarily take
- 27:02the United States of America off the gold standard.
- 27:05What he was really saying is you normal average, Are you normal
- 27:09average Americans in this really affected everybody all
- 27:13throughout the world. We just screwed you over, OK,
- 27:16because the gold standard. And I got a little clip we're
- 27:19going to watch here next. That that, that that explains it
- 27:23in no uncertain terms. The gold standard was good for
- 27:27the average people, right? The dollar, which was backed by
- 27:32gold held its value. The dollar, which have been
- 27:35backed by silver as well. Don't forget, guys.
- 27:39OK, this right here. See if we can get the camera to
- 27:44focus on it. That's what it used to be.
- 27:47Let me move my finger out of the way.
- 27:50There we go. Look at the very top of that.
- 27:52Can you see that? The very top?
- 27:54Look, it says silver certificate and on the bottom, can you read
- 28:00that? It says that you can basically
- 28:04trade this in for silver. Up to that point, right, America
- 28:10was the greatest country on earth.
- 28:11Imagine that they could actually save money, save dollars, right?
- 28:16And they would be they they would be able to maintain their
- 28:19buying power over time. Since 1971, that's not been the
- 28:23case, right? The value of of the dollar has
- 28:27absolutely tanked. It's only I don't want to be a
- 28:30doom and gloomer, but it's only going to get worse.
- 28:34OK, but think about this. This is powerful from 1971
- 28:40through today. That's what, let's say 55 years,
- 28:45excuse me. OK, Since we've been off the
- 28:48gold standard, the dollars lost 99% of its value against gold.
- 28:54OK, That actually happened in the early phases of money
- 28:59printing. That also happened during a
- 29:01period of time where the United States was the world superpower.
- 29:05We were able to do the Petro dollar.
- 29:08We were able to exert our will all over the world.
- 29:12Think about that, OK? That's what happened during
- 29:15those 50 years. That happened during a period
- 29:19where we were racking up $40 trillion in debt.
- 29:24We didn't have that much debt in 1971.
- 29:27So over that 50 year period where we enjoyed this, this
- 29:30privilege of being the world reserve currency, of being the
- 29:34world's hegemony, that's a fancy way to say the world superpower,
- 29:38OK, the value of the dollar collapsed.
- 29:42OK. Now think about the next 50
- 29:44years. Think about how different the
- 29:46world is now. Now you've got China, you've got
- 29:49India, you've got Russia, you've got 40 trillion.
- 29:53We're starting the next 50 years with $40 trillion in debt.
- 29:58I don't want to be doom and gloom, the town crier, but it's
- 30:02not looking real good. It's just not.
- 30:04Let's listen. Peter Schiff has one minute of
- 30:08of of of of his perspective on what we just talked about.
- 30:14Let's listen to Peter here. Well.
- 30:22You know, before we had a Fed and we had sound money, the cost
- 30:26of living went down every year prices went down.
- 30:28They were lower in than than they were, you know, earlier.
- 30:32And so that benefits, you know, the common guy in gal, you know,
- 30:36their standard of living goes up if food gets cheaper, if their
- 30:40gas gets cheaper, if their healthcare gets cheaper, if
- 30:42traveling gets cheaper, if clothing gets cheaper, if all
- 30:45the things they need and all the things they want become less
- 30:48expensive. Every year they win, they're
- 30:50better off. But ever since we've had a
- 30:52central bank, and particularly since we went off the gold
- 30:55standard in 1971, the cost of living goes up every year.
- 30:58And in fact, the Fed's goal is for the cost of living to go up.
- 31:01And they say that the goal is a 2% rise every year.
- 31:05Now, they rarely achieve that. It's generally higher, but their
- 31:08goal is at least 2%. So that that's cheating the
- 31:11little guy automatically. And, you know, if the Federal
- 31:14Reserve didn't create so much inflation, prices might go down
- 31:172% a year. So if they go up 2%, that's 4%
- 31:21that you're worse off. And that's every year.
- 31:23So it compounds. Also, they keep interest rates
- 31:26artificially low. That hurts somebody who wants to
- 31:29save money. A lot of smaller, you know,
- 31:31people, they, they don't, they're not buying stocks or
- 31:33stuff. They just want to put some money
- 31:35away and earn a little interest. And they can't do that when the
- 31:38Fed keeps rates artificially low.
- 31:40Well, you know, before. OK, so who's benefited?
- 31:44Think about it, it's not funny, it's sad, but who's benefited
- 31:51since 1971? The top 1%, the top 2%, the top
- 31:555%, whatever. Who got a screw job, right?
- 31:5899% of the other people out there, people who just put money
- 32:03into A, into A, into a bank, into C DS or whatever.
- 32:07OK. And like he said, think about
- 32:09it. Take a step back.
- 32:11The feds state they have a goal, a stated goal to destroy the US
- 32:17dollar under the best of circumstances, right?
- 32:21At minimum they want the dollar to go down in value by 2% per
- 32:26year. How?
- 32:27By inflation right guys as we move forward we the number one
- 32:32driver and it's going to be fun it's going to be exciting over
- 32:36the next 10 years will be inflation all this other and
- 32:40we'll talk about it we'll dive into it it's all everything else
- 32:43will be short term noise. Inflation will derived the price
- 32:47of gold and silver. People will talk about interest
- 32:50rates and what the Fed does. Does the Fed?
- 32:53the Fed has been neutered, all right?
- 32:55We declared that about 18 months ago.
- 32:58That's why even yesterday Goldman Sachs talked about how
- 33:04the jobs numbers talk about fantasy Island, right?
- 33:09That that's become nothing more than a sideshow, right?
- 33:14The only thing that's going to drive it is inflation.
- 33:18And why do you and you may not agree with me?
- 33:20Oh, Ron, we got to watch the Fed and what they do with inflation
- 33:23or with interest rates. No, no, no.
- 33:26The interest rates, right? At most, think about this.
- 33:30Interest rates at most, at most could get dropped by 2% or in
- 33:35the coming could go down by 2%. And if they do great, right, If
- 33:39the fake and lower rates by like Trump says he wants by 2%,
- 33:42that's great, OK. And what that would do if
- 33:45interest rates go down and inflation's here is create this
- 33:49gap. This gap is called real interest
- 33:53rates. That would create negative real
- 33:55interest rates. OK, If interest rates went down
- 33:581% in inflation stayed at 3.5%, which it won't, right?
- 34:04That would mean that real interest rates would be
- 34:07negative, like 2.5%. The reason why the only thing
- 34:12that matters and why we should be so excited about inflation is
- 34:16this. Even if the Fed doesn't lower
- 34:19rates, which they probably won't be able to do significantly, and
- 34:23rates stay here. Oh, that's bad for gold and
- 34:26silver? No, wrong, because inflation can
- 34:29go higher. And when inflation goes higher,
- 34:32let me get down here lower. When inflation goes higher, it
- 34:35creates that same exact gap that everybody's cheering for, and
- 34:40once with lower interest rates. But the bonus kicker is that
- 34:45while interest rates can only go down by 1 or 2%, inflation can
- 34:50go zoom, zoom, zoom, zoom, zoom as high.
- 34:55Who knows? Literally they could go to
- 34:58Infinity. That's called hyperinflation.
- 35:00Like we looked at yesterday Weimar Germany when the price of
- 35:03silver went from 80 marks to, I don't know, 16,000,000 in the
- 35:09matter of like 2 years. So the only thing we got to
- 35:12worry about is inflation. Everything else is just noise.
- 35:18All the sheeple out there, yeah, they'll be paying attention.
- 35:22All the Fed, blah, blah, blah. I mean, we used to follow the
- 35:26Fed very closely. I mean, look, we even have this,
- 35:29Remember, we weren't supposed to open this, right with old Jerome
- 35:33inside. It used to be a big deal, right?
- 35:36Because we'd say, oh, we've got a recession and we have
- 35:40inflation. But this, the I that stands for
- 35:43inflation is the most important thing right now.
- 35:46Coincidentally, my friends, we also still have a slow economy.
- 35:50And when you have a recession and inflation at the same time,
- 35:54that's why we made this right. the Fed is in a box, right?
- 35:58the Fed is in big, big trouble because that creates
- 36:02stagflation. We're going to have, we're going
- 36:06to have stag hyperflation, stagflation squared.
- 36:12I don't know, whatever we want to call it, that's what's
- 36:15coming. Thank you to 1st Mining Gold for
- 36:17sponsoring Ron's basement. Hey, they got gold in the ground
- 36:20in Canada. They have two huge development
- 36:24stage projects. OK.
- 36:25That means they've determined the gold is in the ground and
- 36:28there's a lot of it, millions of Oz at 2 separate projects,
- 36:33Spring Pole in Ontario and Du Parquet in Quebec, both multi
- 36:38million ounce deposits in Canada, right?
- 36:42Those are very rare to have massive gold deposits in such a
- 36:46great, great jurisdiction. You can learn more about them at
- 36:50firstmininggold.com. OK, we can look at the charts.
- 36:54We can look at the charts for gold and silver.
- 36:57And look, we don't talk short term very often down here in the
- 37:00basement, but things are looking like breakout zone could be
- 37:05around the corner right now for the gold and silver price.
- 37:10We can look at the fundamentals behind the metals.
- 37:14Somebody sent me something yesterday.
- 37:16All right, let's just touch on this is crazy about silver right
- 37:20in one one, one small but potential massive growing
- 37:25segment for silver solid-state batteries.
- 37:29It's happening, right? They're not going to advertise
- 37:32China is a head of the United States.
- 37:34There's a company in China don't tell anybody that's already now
- 37:38producing solid-state batteries. Those are the batteries that go
- 37:42into EVs. The electric vehicle industry,
- 37:45right the way it is, is exploding higher.
- 37:48These new this new battery technology where the batteries
- 37:51are lighter, they charge in like instead of like 3 days or three
- 37:56hours, they charge in like 15 minutes and these batteries
- 38:01allow you to get like twice as much mileage out of each charge.
- 38:05They also use up to people are saying right in the data shows,
- 38:11let's just say significantly more silver and some people are
- 38:14even saying one full kilogram of silver.
- 38:18Do you know how many ounces of silver and a kilogram?
- 38:21I know it's more than 30 oz each.
- 38:24So the fundamentals, sorry, I had to touch on that for silver
- 38:29are also absolutely incredible right now.
- 38:33But what about gold? Are there any good fundamentals
- 38:35for gold? Well, let's see, you've got the
- 38:39world central banks buying gold like no other time in history.
- 38:43You've got gold production coming out of the mines at a
- 38:46basically a stagnant level, but even more interesting with gold.
- 38:51And this is also true with silver is the fact that there
- 38:55have been no major new, very few, very few new discoveries of
- 39:01the metals in the last 10 years. That's the future pipeline.
- 39:06That's the few, that's the pipeline that provides the
- 39:09future supply of silver and of gold.
- 39:14Think about it, OK? Because it's very important.
- 39:17But let me tell you, if you're new, those of you who've been
- 39:20around a while know this. You just don't go out with a
- 39:25shovel or a drill and discover gold or silver in the ground and
- 39:30turn it into a mine. Six months or a year later.
- 39:33Between the time that that and there are no discoveries being
- 39:37made or very few, but the ones that are being made, once gold
- 39:41or silver is discovered, it takes it minimum 10 years from
- 39:46the time it's discovered to the time that it's actually being
- 39:50produced from a mine. You got to get permits, you got
- 39:53to do all kinds of crazy work. Anyway, I won't go into the
- 39:56details, but that pipeline of future supply for both of the
- 40:01metals is massively, massively constrained.
- 40:05Guys. It's it's insane what's going
- 40:07on. And then the macro.
- 40:09It's time for the macro minute, right?
- 40:11The macro minute on a macro level, when we look at what's
- 40:15going on in the world geopolitically, right?
- 40:18When countries don't agree with each other, right, when there's
- 40:21war, which there is all over the world, countries don't trust
- 40:26each other. And when they don't trust each
- 40:28other, guess what? They don't trust their promises
- 40:32to each other in those promises are typically represented by
- 40:38money, by things like dollars in yen in Chinese, yuan in Russian
- 40:43rubles, right? Whatever.
- 40:45All these paper currencies. What people then trust are
- 40:49things that are real, that they can hold, right?
- 40:53Where there's no counter party risk, right?
- 40:57There's nobody you have to rely on for the value and there's
- 41:00nothing that fits that bill like gold and silver.
- 41:04But wait, there's more. Because on the macro level,
- 41:08we've also got the background that not just the United States
- 41:12of America, but the entire world has never been right in a
- 41:18financial conundrum. Like, it isn't like it is in
- 41:22right now where there's so many promises like what, $330
- 41:26trillion in debt in the entire world, right?
- 41:30The people think they're going to get paid on between each
- 41:33other. Look, I don't want to be the
- 41:35town crier and I don't know about you, but I sure feel
- 41:39really, really good about the fact that and look, don't make
- 41:43any financial decisions based on what I say.
- 41:45Listen to me, listen to others, do your own research.
- 41:49Please always be responsible, but I feel really good about
- 41:53precious metals and the precious metals mining stocks.
- 41:56Now, if you have some metals or something else valuable that you
- 42:00want to store in a very safe, fun way like that's been proven
- 42:05to work for thousands of years, check out Dirty Man Safe.
- 42:10These are safes that you bury in the ground in a location that
- 42:15you choose and you don't tell anybody about.
- 42:17Not me. I don't want to know where you
- 42:19put it right, but tell somebody, tell your heirs or whoever.
- 42:23These things are awesome. There is a discount code Ron 10.
- 42:26Don't forget that you get a discount and maybe a few free
- 42:30goodies included as well. But the bottom screws off and
- 42:35these things are super cool, super high quality.
- 42:38When they said they wanted to send me one, I was like, that's
- 42:40a piece of pipe, whatever. No, when you get one of these,
- 42:43they're really, really well made and cool.
- 42:46Made with pride by a great family.
- 42:49I really love working. They're wonderful, wonderful
- 42:51people. I will only take sponsorships
- 42:53from companies or products that I know and believe, but you put
- 42:57whatever you want in there. I happen to have a plastic
- 43:00Unicorn in this one. You seal it up, comes with a
- 43:04tube that you bury in the ground.
- 43:06You can check it out on their website.
- 43:07A cap it's got really everything about it so cool this and then
- 43:12you put this on top and whenever you want to get to it don't
- 43:15forget Ron 10 and you'll get a discount.
- 43:18You dig it up and you got your product.
- 43:20So that's what the pirates did. Maybe you have a safety deposit
- 43:25box. Maybe you have AI don't know a
- 43:27big safe in your house that's great.
- 43:30But but burying things in the ground has been proven for
- 43:33thousands of years to work very very well.
- 43:36Hey super appreciate you joining us down here in the basement on
- 43:39behalf of upstairs Susie and myself, we appreciate you OK.
- 43:44We wish you the best of days and we will look forward to seeing
- 43:48you and we see you. We'll see you next time down
- 43:51here in the basement in the future.
- 43:53Looks bright for us and for the precious metals.
- 43:57Take care, have a great day.
