- 0:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yo, what up, bro?
- 0:14[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, what's up bro?
- 0:14[SPEAKER_02]: How you feeling?
- 0:15[SPEAKER_03]: I'm amazing man.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_03]: I'm in town.
- 0:17[SPEAKER_03]: I just got the Vegas.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_03]: Is Ryan in the studio?
- 0:22[SPEAKER_03]: Ryan's not here right now.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_03]: But he should be back in a little bit.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_03]: You trying to come through?
- 0:26[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm doing a show called Podcast Explained for Podcast Summit.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_03]: And I know your heavily monetized leverage podcasting like nobody else.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_03]: I know you know everything about the gear and equipment and how you're leveraging, right?
- 0:42[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, for sure, man.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_03]: I've been running his team for four years.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_03]: I can tell you everything about it.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_03]: Say, last, y'all, I'm about to pull up.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_03]: Five or five each, y'all, huh?
- 0:49[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_03]: What's up, bro?
- 0:51[SPEAKER_03]: Man, I'll get right here.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_03]: How you feeling?
- 0:53[SPEAKER_03]: Incredible, right?
- 0:54[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_03]: Incredible, man.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_03]: I'm prepared to be inspired.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, man, but you can't even tell.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_02]: That's the loot.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_02]: This is exciting.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_02]: So where are we at right now?
- 1:03[SPEAKER_02]: So we have two floors.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_02]: First floor, many for business at the top floor, and this floor is specifically for media.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_02]: Really?
- 1:09[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, you're going to get to see some of our event space, some of our coach's rooms, studios, maybe do everything.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_02]: All the fun stuff happens down here.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_03]: Let's get it, let me see what I got.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_02]: Let's do it.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, this prize, prime location too.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, man, we're about eight minutes from the airport.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_02]: You know, right off Las Vegas, we're a little far between Las Vegas and Bermuda.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_02]: So I mean, you're going to be able to hit everything from here quick.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, this is nice, bro.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, man.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_02]: Get some context to bro.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_02]: This used to just be a sales floor.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_02]: Like it was a bunch of cubicles.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_02]: Really here.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_02]: And this is where some of his sales team was working out of.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_02]: And then Ryan was like, y'all want to go all in on events.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_02]: I want to do it.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_02]: It's about about two years ago.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_02]: So we ripped those cubicles out.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_02]: He was like, go get what you need to make this a nice event space.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_02]: And I got around you, sure.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_02]: And he was like, yeah, everything we need.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_02]: And so I didn't hold back.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't got it.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_02]: We got the capability of live streaming, capability of selling a live ticket plus selling the room.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_02]: So it works out really well here.
- 2:16[SPEAKER_03]: How often y'all do live events?
- 2:18[SPEAKER_02]: so we do so it's rented every once in a while right like when people come in town so we've rented somebody else can rent a space for sure we just recently did Jason Wolgeos even here so that was fine but um as far as Ryan he doesn't uh two events a month and then we do a smash some off yeah
- 2:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so he has both businesses.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_02]: You got his real estate business in it.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the investor and he also had wealthy kingdom, which is his nonprofit.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_02]: So I mean, we've set these chairs up to be kind of like the other style church style and had a lot of band and stuff in here singing and worship.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_02]: We use it for a lot.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_03]: Not a smile.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_03]: All right.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_03]: So, take me back here.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_03]: Okay.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_03]: Well, we got here.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_03]: What's the gear?
- 2:59[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_02]: So, everything kind of top of the line.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_02]: We got a far side as a mixer.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_02]: So, here's our audio board and the heat.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_02]: And what this does is allow us to control the audio in the room and then separate it to control what's happening on the string.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_02]: So this controls audio in the room as well as what your experience online would be like.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_02]: Why would I do that?
- 3:21[SPEAKER_02]: So for instance, let's say we're doing a live event and there's a separate host for the online community.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_02]: And you'll see in a little bit we have another studio that we use for studio as well as like the green room or our separate studio.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_02]: But we'll cut away to the online host when there's nothing actionable happening in the room.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_02]: But you gotta be able to control audio to separate the two.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_02]: God.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_02]: So this allows us to do that as a ton of channels as well as our, you know, I can have a DJ come hook into it.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_02]: We do our worship nights, the keys and all the instruments hook into it.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_02]: God.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_02]: And we can kind of control what the atmosphere feels like in the room with that day.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_02]: Pretty cool.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, our Mac runs all of our softwares.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_02]: So it's quite a happy purpose in there.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_02]: Or the black magic, you know, software that we use mostly.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_02]: So we run out of that.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_02]: Going into our black magic, this is the H.A.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_02]: Pro.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_02]: So again, this gives us all these SDI channels and allows us such
- 4:18[SPEAKER_03]: Here, you all know like a full SDI.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, workflow.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_03]: I need to, I got HGMI everywhere and it's so stupid, bro.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's so wiggly.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you know what I mean?
- 4:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's a couple of reasons, too, because like when we didn't want the lags and the SDI, even when it's the lag that you have, but the other piece, too, is that with HGMI, when you got a lot of people in the room, you always got to wear about those cords getting pulled.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_02]: Things happen.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_02]: Things go wrong.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_02]: So these are all locked in and we're still in prepare for it.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_02]: This is also connected to our other two studios.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_02]: So during the break here, when they were, you know, we had to see some people here for his day with Ryan event.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_02]: During their lunch break, I went and cut away to him podcasting live in the back.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_02]: So they were able to see a podcast that hasn't even, that's not going out for weeks.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_02]: So, it's all tied in.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_02]: We could do a lot of fun stuff with this, but the board, the Aden Board allows us to switch between the two FX-Six, we run up there, another FX-Six.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_03]: I want the FX-Six so bad.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, man, I think it'd be purposeful.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_02]: So like, there's a lot of stuff like, a lot of people have that here at six for no reason.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_02]: If it's just social media, that's overkill.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_02]: But if it's, when we do events, we want to have a higher quality.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_02]: So it works out pretty well.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_02]: Got it.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_02]: Got it.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_02]: All right, all right, that's it.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_03]: Obviously microphones and all that kind of stuff.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_03]: The output live content out.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_03]: Do you put this type of content like here?
- 5:40[SPEAKER_03]: Did they what Ryan were as a bunch of students he's teaching?
- 5:43[SPEAKER_03]: The output that type of stuff out on the podcast as well?
- 5:45[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_02]: So most of what we do with Ryan if it's any long form, we release as a podcast.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_02]: The only time we don't is if it's something that he's selling.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_02]: because obviously there may be some reuse of there and specific things that we don't.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_02]: But Ryan's also the guy that you can put out because every time he goes up, it's going to be something different.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_03]: Right.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_02]: So what you're looking here, obviously like any other event on a main stage, you know, the presenter wants some notes or to see their slides.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_02]: So we got our downstage monitors to do that.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_02]: like we just went with some GVMs, but they worked well for this room being a smaller room.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_02]: The biggest expense we had building this obviously was this LED screen.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_02]: Shout out to the guys that did that for us at Refresh, but they hooked us up, gave us a really good deal on it.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_02]: But we knew that would be the game changer in the field of the room.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_02]: How much was the screen?
- 6:40[SPEAKER_02]: Forty K. Forty K for the screen.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_02]: So, but it's well worth it.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_02]: And the good thing about like a space like this is he didn't even know what I spent to do it all.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_02]: He got up on the very first event we did here and started talking about it and he was like, I don't even know how much we spent.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_02]: And he looked back at me like, how much do we spend on this?
- 7:01[SPEAKER_02]: And I just kind of put my head down.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_02]: But when we ran numbers afterwards, we had already made all our money back from that one event.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_02]: So it worked out great, didn't I could tell him how much money?
- 7:13[SPEAKER_02]: What was it?
- 7:14[SPEAKER_02]: What were the expenses on this build-out?
- 7:16[SPEAKER_02]: So first thing was, there was no booth back there.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_02]: That was just, you had to get a contractor to build out that booth, then you had to get a contractor to run all the wires.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_02]: Do all the electrical work.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_02]: I want to say it was in the range of like one seventy-one eighty.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_02]: It's far getting everything.
- 7:36[SPEAKER_02]: Some of these TVs that I'm using as DSM we already had.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_02]: We were just, you know, kind of just repurposed all this, but on the tech end, it was around that range one eighty or so.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_03]: If my assistant orders chick for leg, I need to know.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_03]: I need to know how much we eat in a meal.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_03]: I need to know how much we eat in a meal.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_03]: I need to know how much we eat in a meal.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_03]: I need to know how much we eat in a meal.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_03]: I need to know how much we eat in a meal.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_03]: I need to know how much we eat in a meal.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_03]: I need to know how much we eat in a meal.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_03]: I need to know how much we eat in a meal.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_03]: I need to know how much we eat in a meal.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_03]: I need to know how much we eat in a meal.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_02]: I need to know how much we eat in a meal.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_02]: I need to know how much we eat in a meal.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_02]: I need to know how much we eat in a meal.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_02]: I need to know how much we eat in a meal.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_02]: I need to know how much we eat in a meal.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_02]: I need to know how much we eat in a meal.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_02]: I need to know how much we eat in a meal.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_02]: I need to know how much we
- 8:08[SPEAKER_02]: So back here is where most of my team is, my office, but my two editors are out here.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_02]: There's your office?
- 8:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, this is me in there.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_02]: You create as well.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_02]: Do all my coaching in there?
- 8:18[SPEAKER_02]: No, I'm not.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_02]: All my, you know, some editing on my am, but what you got out of there is more cameras.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_02]: So this is EV-E-Tin, a sixy-five, a sixteen to thirty-five lens on that keeps me wide when I'm got limited space, but really good camera for as a webcam.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, I coach do all the coaching.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_02]: on the content side out of here.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_02]: You coach people on content.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so basically what I did was just we develop the same product that we run for Ryan to offer to all of his students or anybody that wants to get in part.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_02]: So you got a company called Wilson Created that's partnered with Create or Lab.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_02]: That does all of that.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_02]: And so, you know, get to come here, learn everything that Ryan does.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_02]: So any updates that we change or we do.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_02]: I just give it right up to the community.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_02]: We had some, we had cut a few success stories of people that learned how to create and then learn how to monitor that.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_02]: I'll list over here.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_02]: So this is a podcast which lists for Ryan.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_02]: Some of these people can actually take off because we've gotten them on.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_02]: But what I do, you know, during the weeks is I cold them all these individuals once or twice a month just to try to get some reaction.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_02]: Then I also look at people on their team and try to hit them as well.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_02]: But as we grow and you know, you want to keep getting new people on an interesting conversation.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_02]: We just keep adding to this list.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_02]: If you see like
- 9:43[SPEAKER_02]: Some names next to some people.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_02]: The older people that have been through here that have a contact for them.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_02]: So they just reminds me to reach out to them to try to get to the next person.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_02]: I got you.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_03]: What are you thinking, sir?
- 9:55[SPEAKER_02]: It's funny.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_02]: I made contact with somebody on the team, but then I never got a response after that.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_02]: So they'll be getting hit again in a couple of hours.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_03]: These people, are you expecting them to just come or are you, like, saying, well, pay you or so.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_02]: Unfortunately for us, we haven't had to pay anybody to come in.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_02]: What it is is Ryan's built a strong enough brand.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_02]: This goes for anybody that understands how to build a strong enough brand.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_02]: Most people want to come in you and have a conversation because it's almost like a mini mastermind between the two minds that come to the room.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_02]: So we haven't yet had to pay anybody, they usually end up coming.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_02]: There's very few that I think he'd be willing to pay.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_02]: It would have to be a really significant factor.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_02]: It would have to do really, you know, it would have to change business for him for him to want to have to pay some money.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_02]: do that, and it just has to make sense.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_02]: Most of these individuals are, you know, people outside of his niche.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_02]: So they wouldn't, I wouldn't necessarily pay for that.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_02]: Unless, you know, they're coming.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_02]: When you pay, you want them to come to a podcast, you want them to speak on your stage, you want them to be more than just come to a podcast than, yeah, exactly.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_02]: Why?
- 11:06[SPEAKER_02]: Was he circle?
- 11:07[SPEAKER_02]: David Goggins circle, because our guy Peter already made the introduction.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_02]: So it's just a matter of getting the date.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_02]: And then the second reason he was circle was because before we made contact, I know that he doesn't do a lot of podcasts, or doesn't do a lot of collaborating.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_02]: So it was kind of like, if I know I can get a contact on him, it would be good.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_02]: There were a few more people that were over here that were circle, but we already had those.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_03]: This is fire.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_03]: I'm actually gonna do this when I get home,
- 11:34[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, when I do the drugs, I'm gonna make my list of people that I want on my podcast and I'm just, I mean, I think it does two things.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_03]: One, it allows you to be intentional, but two,
- 11:46[SPEAKER_03]: when somebody comes in loud.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_03]: That's my guy.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_03]: He's filming me at three.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_03]: You start like these, I don't use the word manifest too often, but they can kind of manifest their relationships.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_02]: You're putting it out there at least.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_02]: And that's why we've made contact with a few of these people on here because they've come in and they've either sat down to get prepared for the podcast and we've been chatting and they're just reading.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, I know such and such and that's happening a few times now.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_02]: Connections been made.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, that list is going to keep building out.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_02]: This is dope.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_02]: This is dope.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, cause I'm making a connection with Caleb.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_03]: I like Caleb.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_02]: Not yet.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_02]: All right, nothing.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_02]: Where's he with?
- 12:23[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I can't, I'm not even sure.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_02]: Texas.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_02]: Is this Texas still?
- 12:26[SPEAKER_02]: You know?
- 12:28[SPEAKER_03]: You got a plug?
- 12:29[SPEAKER_02]: I know.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I got Peter's supposed to hook us up.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_02]: That's Peter Hulu.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if you know Peter.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_02]: But he actually got John Maxwell to do an event here.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_02]: Oh wow.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_02]: So like there's been things happening and that was from the list.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of stuff has happened there.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_02]: I want to get, I would love to get Candace Owens and Ryan to sit down.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think that would be a great conversation.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_02]: Do these names have anything to do with business or is it just like people I like that I just want to have one I pick names that I think he would have a really dynamic conversation with also he didn't pick this list you know some of whom are here some of whom are here is like like we've had to speak at our stuff like when you seem to more business individual than yes he's picked some of those
- 13:09[SPEAKER_02]: Like we have brussel one recently, Russell's going to hold day with us.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_02]: That was one of his.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_02]: So like there's been some that that that where his but most of these are the team getting their mind together looking at the landscape of what we've done already and then deciding who would be good.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_02]: I like to pick, I like to get conversation pieces with people that one are going to have different opinions, stronger opinions, but two can also provide a perspective that provides value to his audience.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_02]: So like most people will see like a
- 13:39[SPEAKER_02]: like a like a Michael Todd like while with Ryan said down with Michael Todd, well he does have his faith element and it would be a different conversation because you got one guy that's more of the charismatic pinnacles away.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_02]: Another guy that grew up back to us and we could kind of communicate and kind of grow and expand that way to get a better understanding of each other.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_02]: I think he got a guy like Keith Lee who reviews food.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, where it's not necessarily about most people go I want him on because he gets views.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's not about the views Keith Lee was a Vegas like hardcore guy like I want to push Vegas.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_02]: I wrote Vegas.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_02]: That's where you know, he kind of came out in that way.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_02]: So it would be nice to see two guys Ryan's born and raised in Vegas and loves Vegas.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_02]: He's never even Vegas.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_02]: So it would be cool to see those guys have a dynamic from a different perspective from a real estate standpoint, but then also another
- 14:23[SPEAKER_02]: Because Ryan's a foodie too, people just don't know it.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I love it.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_02]: I love it.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_03]: You're editor?
- 14:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm Ryan's editor.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_03]: Alright, so real quick, as a content creator or a piecaster, what are you looking for when you edit?
- 14:38[SPEAKER_01]: Um, for me, I'm looking for the top moment, especially for someone like Ryan.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_01]: He focused on a lot of like real estate, you know, entrepreneurship, money, things that I nature.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_01]: Some always look at photos, keep points because that's what this idea is most.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_01]: So it all varies depends on who that person is.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_01]: But for me, I listen to the whole podcast, check everything out, make sure I get the right clips because obviously, you know, they're the main thing.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, is there some sort of mindset that you gotta put yourself in?
- 15:01[SPEAKER_03]: Cause you're watching it and you know Ryan, is it somehow hard to take you out of you being this close and start thinking, what would the audience like?
- 15:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's been challenging too, because like, we, me and Ryan built such a, you know, dynamic relationship.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like, I know he was like this, but with the people like this, and doesn't actually make sense.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_01]: And same thing with Jay, like, we're constantly going back and forth about that.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_01]: Like, we have conversation, I'm like, no, I really want to put this thing here.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_01]: I think when I love this, it's like, bro, you already know how you're doing.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_01]: So, but I always try to focus on the audience, because at the end of the day, that's all that matters.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_01]: It's the people in what they're getting, what they were receiving.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_01]: And what are you at it on?
- 15:43[SPEAKER_01]: I used everything to the most superman.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_01]: Is that you've ever done?
- 15:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's a bit different from the other one.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_03]: Love it.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_03]: Appreciate your brother.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_02]: So studio B, we consider this.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_02]: This studio is kind of used for a bunch of different things.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_02]: I use it for my podcast.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_02]: We got a podcast too.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_02]: I do.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_02]: What's the greater podcast is mine?
- 16:02[SPEAKER_02]: So is it still on the same channel?
- 16:04[SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 16:05[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, different channel.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_02]: So Ryan has a podcast and wealthy creators.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_02]: because that's your logo on it.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_02]: No, Luffy Way is Ryan's.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so here's what happened.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_02]: I'll just break down the complexity of it when Ryan rebranded from Ryan Pineda show to wealthy way.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_02]: everything with under the wealthy brand.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_02]: So under the wealthy way brand that was wealthy way Ryan's podcast, it was wealthy creator, which is what I hosted.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_02]: There's a wealthy investor with Brian DeVilla.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_02]: This is strictly real estate content and it was a wealthy business.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_03]: Got it.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_02]: As one of the wealthy kingdom.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_02]: So we were almost in management.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah, it was fun.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_02]: But there was those podcasts kind of running as a network of the wealthy brands, but kind of hyper focused on whatever the niche was individually.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_02]: And so we ran, we filmed most of those here.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_02]: And so if you notice, we got furniture like shelves that aren't actually nailed to the wall.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_02]: Light furniture that can be moved because we will create a different set for everybody's podcast.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_02]: You got the LED GVM lights to be able to kind of change the color in the tones and match the branding.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_02]: So we had all those pieces in here.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_02]: We just kind of used this as an all-purpose studio for winning.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_02]: On top of that we had clients come film in here as well.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_00]: So nice.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_02]: We allow some of the students to come do some talking here stuff or some podcast in here.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_02]: So it works out pretty well.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_02]: So what do y'all shooting with it here?
- 17:29[SPEAKER_02]: So here we are most of the time on FX-Dirty.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_03]: That's a theme here in Vegas, man.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_03]: Everybody's FX-Dirty.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, what you get for the dollar on this camera is well worth it.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_02]: It's always what I recommend when people are like, hey, I don't want to get the cheapest thing, but I want to get something good.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_02]: I always tell them to go with dirty.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, they just work really well.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_02]: We started off with a seven S-trees, which I believe that's what that camera would be.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_02]: And then we kind of made that shift as this one released just for like reasons of overheating and things like that.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_02]: We have no trouble with the FX-derry.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_03]: So we've got a fifty millimeter Sigma Sigma.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_02]: That's one point.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to recommend a budget option.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_02]: This is the option right here.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_02]: That fifty gives you flexibility on the room length of the size of the room.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_02]: And in the thirty, a lot already adds a crop.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_02]: and it's perfect for like that more depth of feeling when you're filming a podcast in close quarters.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_02]: Love it.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_02]: Love it.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_03]: And all we got here right off a roadcaster.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_02]: Roadcaster Pro too.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_02]: One of my favorite tools because it also isolates each track for us.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_02]: So if it's a guest coming to podcast and we don't have some light to sit in live, switch it, we just throw it into autopilot and get it done that way.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_02]: Makes it really simple.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_02]: And then this is the extreme pro the HDMI version.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_02]: So you'll see another version of this set is SDI.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_02]: So if you're thinking about moving over, yeah, sure.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_03]: I wish the authorities had SDI because I got nine FX-Thirties, brother of my studio.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_03]: And it's like, I can't.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_02]: You can run the conversions.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_02]: That's what you're going to see over in the next studio.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_02]: You'll see SDI, AIDOM, you know, extreme running to FX-Threase.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_02]: with converters.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_02]: Got it.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_02]: Got it.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_02]: And where's the mic plugged into?
- 19:19[SPEAKER_02]: It's going into the wall.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_02]: It's going into the wall.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_03]: Right now it's not plugged up.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_03]: But it goes into the wall.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_03]: I don't see a connection between.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no.
- 19:27[SPEAKER_02]: They all run along the side of the wall.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_02]: Got it.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_02]: Like I said, we had the event today and they tour the studio.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_02]: And I've had disasters where people come in and don't watch where they're standing.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_02]: So we moved all the doors off the floor.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_03]: Good.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_02]: Nice.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_03]: Now this is beautiful.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, now we're going into the wealthy way, so this is beautiful.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_02]: So this is this is wealthy way, Ryan Pineda's studio.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_02]: Initially, when I drew up like a graph to design the space, there was a set here, and then two sets and these corners.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_02]: And then he bought that desk.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_02]: And it was normal room.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_03]: Because the dust was nice, but it doesn't necessarily fit in the vision.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_02]: So like, I took it as he wanted this room to himself.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_02]: Because the plan was to have, you know, obviously two separate sets to be able to kind of be flexible with.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_02]: And then we got paper rolls up there for a floor set, technically.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_02]: Green screen and different things like that.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_02]: But he bought this desk for fifteen grand.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_03]: This desk was fifteen thousand.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_02]: That's the main.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not even sure the design of it, but I think from our architectural standpoint or design, it's probably really good.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_02]: What does this do?
- 20:43[SPEAKER_02]: I can't tell you.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_02]: It's just part of the desk.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_02]: It's just part of the design.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_02]: And so immediately I was like, okay, this is going to feel kind of like a top show type of feel.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, it cut us down to one set on this set.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_02]: What is this right here?
- 21:00[SPEAKER_02]: Just canvas, man.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_02]: That's like canvas like picture with a teaky lights.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_03]: Canvas picture with teaky lights.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_02]: So you can purchase a canvas that gives it a window feel, right?
- 21:13[SPEAKER_02]: That's what it looks like.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_02]: And then those lights are just added to the back of it.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_02]: It's just really tiny lights and it's just, you know, plus it's hard.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_03]: Because you would think like, all right, come on closer.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_03]: So you would think
- 21:26[SPEAKER_03]: that this is a screen, even when I got up on it, I thought it was a screen because of the outside border.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_03]: But this is just, I guess it's like paper on top of it.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_03]: The plastic one on top of it, with lights coming out a little bit.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_03]: That's hard.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_02]: And on camera with the right amount of bokeh, it really looks like you're in front of a window.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_02]: And so that was kind of the effect.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_02]: I've had people come in and go, I thought y'all were really filming at night time.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_02]: You know, you're not filming on the strip in the penthouse at night.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_02]: But it looks really good on camera.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_02]: So it was a cool design.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_02]: Got you.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_02]: And where?
- 22:01[SPEAKER_02]: OK, I'll say this affects three.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_02]: Three, you see, area.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_02]: Three, affects three with an eighty five millimeter Sony G master.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_02]: Really good, really good land for SP.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, really clean.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_02]: That's why it's beautiful.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_02]: You know, you tell me to get it.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_02]: So I didn't hold back on.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_02]: It makes for a really good, really good image.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_02]: even our soft autofocus images still look good.
- 22:27[SPEAKER_02]: It's like giving some protection there too for my shooters.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, it's like lights, lights, you know, after which your lights, this was probably the one thing that was overkill for these rooms.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like even right now these lights are probably operating at like eleven percent.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_02]: And so the idea about one because he was talking about doing some events outside and I was like, I'll need a few of these to like the parking lot.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_02]: We don't have to go pay for a company to come up like the parking lot.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, I didn't necessarily have to have this type of lighting for this room.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_02]: If I could go back, I would change it.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_02]: But they worked really well, especially for the sidewalks.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_02]: Because they're also, these lights are also RGB.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_02]: So on the cycle outside of things, it lights that background up really hard to get that infinity kind of space.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_02]: And then if I go red on it, I go blue on it, you know, you can light down it.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_02]: It makes for another dynamic.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_02]: So another set can be used.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_02]: Like I said, either, like I think this one right now is that twenty nine percent.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_03]: So you have all the lights routed over your own country.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_02]: I'll go in here on that board.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_02]: Love it.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, I'll go into the wall.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_02]: It's cool.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_02]: Here's that black magic aid on my telling you that SDI's out.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_02]: But you have, I saw a converter.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it looks like this.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_02]: So these are the SDI to the HDMI converter that allow us to use any camera that has HDMI into this switcher.
- 23:54[SPEAKER_02]: Why is there another screen here when you use this?
- 23:57[SPEAKER_02]: So it just depends on who switcher.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes the individual wants to see the multi-view when they switch.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes they don't.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm assuming that the last person that did the last podcast didn't care about seeing the multi-view.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_02]: So that's the only reason why there's a bigger screen there.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_02]: But yes, it's pretty good set up.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_02]: What's nice about this set up too is that I'm running
- 24:19[SPEAKER_02]: the roadcaster into the Adel.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_02]: So by the time my editor gets the final file from the recording, it already has that audio baked in.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_03]: So audio switch already ready to go for the most part.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_03]: What I'm starting to see too, man, is the theme is, we have a business, but content is a major part of the business, right?
- 24:40[SPEAKER_03]: You can't just, it used to be just salespeople in, you know, this and that.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_03]: We need multiple places to create content.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_03]: That's what drives it, right?
- 24:48[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_02]: And I mean, he was all in, even for myself, like, although I was doing the back end of his content, when he encouraged me to do the podcast.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_02]: Because I was never in front of a camera.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_02]: I was always behind the camera.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_02]: But he encouraged it because he was like, you know, if you start to grow and you start to build, he's like, it only helps the business overall.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 25:06[SPEAKER_02]: He's like, you've done it now for three years.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_02]: Like, well, I'm not getting out in front of people and telling him what you're doing.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_02]: It also helps people.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_02]: And that's his big thing is like, how do we serve the audience that we currently have?
- 25:16[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I also promoting the game new people in.
- 25:19[SPEAKER_03]: So, yeah, I'm inspired to create more of a, I'm like, I'm about to go home back to Atlanta, be a full fledged
- 25:29[SPEAKER_03]: extreme content creators right where you'll drop a podcast once a week or but like y'all have a whole machine going on you know he's doing three pods week
- 25:45[SPEAKER_02]: And then about four, you were from four to six short today.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_02]: So we maximized four to six.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_02]: Four to six.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_02]: Four to six.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_02]: Four to six.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_02]: Four to six.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_02]: But every day.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_02]: Every day.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_02]: Every day.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_02]: So my hope is that if you don't, if you see his content regularly, which you should be with that amount, and you're not taking any action or doing anything to support or be a part that you just unfollow.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_02]: I don't be the person that intakes all this information and has the opportunity to kind of change the life of your family and generations after you and you're just in your consumer of the content, be a consumer of the knowledge.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_02]: So that's the goal.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_02]: If I could ramp up, I will.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_02]: At one point, two years ago when I started or when we really wanted to go all in, we were doing six long-form videos a week.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_02]: And then we were doing six to eight spinning.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_02]: He shaking his head.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_02]: He had to do a lot of that editing.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_02]: But why less?
- 26:51[SPEAKER_02]: For him, he wanted to focus, like he had kind of plateaued on where he was trying to build on the platform.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_02]: So now you've got to get back to the surface.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_03]: So he was saying, are you saying in terms of too much content, you started to get a diminishing return?
- 27:07[SPEAKER_02]: No, it was more... It was more... For me, he described it as, it was more of his time being spent to create.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_02]: I see.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, I always go for any client.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_02]: I go, what are you willing to commit to?
- 27:21[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not going to tell you to go do for the six of the day.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_02]: and three podcasts, if you're not willing to commit to the time that it takes.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_02]: Especially if it's taking you away from your big money problems, as entrepreneurs.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_02]: To me, Ryan should never really be focused on content.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_02]: He should be focused on business.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_02]: That does do all of the focusing on the content.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_02]: So to do that, to do those three parts a week and four to six years a day, he feels maybe six hours a week.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_02]: Everything else is either us just recording like what he does on a regular day, but as far as like a plan, let's sit down and that's just a two-hour pocket.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_02]: So you're talking about doing three on a weekend.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_02]: But that's how it should be.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_02]: It shouldn't take away from your business.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_02]: I need him to make money for me to be.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_02]: So let's focus on building the business.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_02]: And we learn to that as your business grows, you're following also, because people are going to trust people that's really doing it.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_02]: not the individuals that's out here talking about what they're doing.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_02]: That's the fact that Ryan is actually doing it.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_03]: Now I wish I had a chance to see him, man.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_03]: It's just a game, man.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_03]: Really an individual first off.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_03]: But you can see that not only that he's doing well, but there's a culture here of people understanding assignment.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_03]: So I appreciate you.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_03]: Let me pull up, man.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_02]: Glad you got to see it.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_02]: You got to plant that next time and get you back on the plant, too.
- 28:46[SPEAKER_03]: Oh yeah, I'm with it.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_03]: Let me know.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_03]: That's a little bit.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_03]: That's a little bit.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_03]: That's a little bit.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_03]: All right, so what I need you to do is I little if you can if you all got the bandwidth.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_03]: Come on.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_03]: a little bit like a walk through or something of Ryan.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_03]: I don't know, it could be like really short, it could be a couple minutes.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_03]: Or just his philosophy on why he's creating this type of content, you know, just something like that.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_03]: That could catch him to here.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_03]: Look at your two.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna film a song to get's but.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_02]: The execution of that.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_02]: I got you.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_02]: I'll give you a little message too.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_02]: I'll miss you.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_02]: We'll do something like that.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_03]: I appreciate it.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_03]: I appreciate it.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_03]: I'm cooking, bro.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, man.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_03]: Oh my god.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah, all right.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, man.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_03]: I appreciate it.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_03]: I need to know anything we didn't cover.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_03]: There's a question I didn't have.

- 30:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_03]: It's no diverse.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_02]: I think you're next one.

- 30:56[SPEAKER_03]: What type of equipment do you use, how to shoot, how do you make it look?
- 30:59[SPEAKER_03]: But also the business behind it.
- 31:01[SPEAKER_03]: So how to say,
- 31:03[SPEAKER_03]: I coach or consulting, use podcasts and grow their practice.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, what does that work flow?

- 31:31[SPEAKER_00]: So I heard you came by and checked out our space.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_00]: Unfortunately, I couldn't make it, but I'm sure Justin, my producer showed you around.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_00]: And hopefully you get to see kind of how we do things with the event space for masterminds and workshops and everything else to seeing, you know, my podcast studio, to the podcast studio, bees for when other people want to film, you know, if anyone from your team or anyone else wants to ever come to an event, we'd love to host you guys, but other than that, man, which I could have been here for it.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_00]: Sure you had a good time.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_03]: I think this was a really, really strong episode, because I feel like we got the same value that Ryan would give without Ryan being here, which speaks to the culture and the excellence that's going on in the building.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm inspired.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_03]: I promise you, you will see my list, and my studio is going down.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_03]: Come to podcast summit, it's twenty twenty five podcast summit.com.
