- 0:03Speaker 1: We get one opportunity to come this way. We get
- 0:06Speaker 1: one shot. We got one life to live. Life is
- 0:10Speaker 1: too short to make excuses. What separates legends from the average?
- 0:23Speaker 1: What separates the 1% from.
- 0:27Speaker 2: The rest of this world?
- 0:31Speaker 1: I'm convinced that there's somebody listening to me who refuses
- 0:35Speaker 1: to stay where they are. Who will make the decision
- 0:38Speaker 1: to separate yourself from the average. Separate yourself from not enough.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Separate yourself from scarcity and lack and defeat. We're afraid.
- 0:52Speaker 2: We're afraid.
- 0:53Speaker 1: We're afraid that if we give our best, the best
- 0:56Speaker 1: isn't good enough. We're afraid because we're constantly comparing ourselves
- 0:59Speaker 1: to other people. We're afraid that we won't be seen.
- 1:03Speaker 1: We're afraid that people will change if we evolve. We're
- 1:06Speaker 1: afraid that maybe we'll lose our friends if we began
- 1:09Speaker 1: to shift our thinking. And the truth is that the
- 1:13Speaker 1: reason why you haven't done it is because you're afraid.
- 1:19Speaker 1: How are you so emotionally injured, so mentally drained, so
- 1:25Speaker 1: physically fatigued that you have allowed your dream, your destiny
- 1:30Speaker 1: to take a back seat to this excuse? That you
- 1:34Speaker 1: don't have what it takes. That you're not smart enough.
- 1:36Speaker 1: That you're not tall enough. That you're not wide enough.
- 1:39Speaker 1: That you're not deep enough. That you're not connected enough.
- 1:41Speaker 1: That you don't know enough people. You keep comparing yourself
- 1:45Speaker 1: to that person and this person. When will the excuses stop?
- 1:51Speaker 1: Sometimes it's just you and God. Where you got to
- 1:54Speaker 1: put the work in alone. And you have to identify
- 1:57Speaker 1: your strengths and your weaknesses. And you've got to identify
- 2:00Speaker 1: where you are self-sabotaging. And you've got to train your
- 2:04Speaker 1: body and your mind. And you've got to stretch. And
- 2:07Speaker 1: you've got to push. And you've got to pull. And
- 2:10Speaker 1: you've got to leap. And you've got to run.
- 2:14Speaker 2: And sometimes you will grow weary.
- 2:19Speaker 1: And there will be days when you don't want to
- 2:20Speaker 1: get out of bed.
- 2:22Speaker 2: When you don't want to eat. You don't have the
- 2:24Speaker 2: energy to think.
- 2:26Speaker 1: And nobody calls you and nobody texts you and nobody
- 2:29Speaker 1: checks on you. And very few believe that you will
- 2:33Speaker 1: ever come out of this darkness.
- 2:36Speaker 2: But you have to believe. Everything must go.
- 2:42Speaker 1: And some of you, man, you need to get this
- 2:44Speaker 1: mentality that says, man, everything that doesn't serve the vision
- 2:48Speaker 1: must go. Everything that does not line up with my
- 2:51Speaker 1: level one priorities must go. One man wrecking machine. I
- 2:56Speaker 1: got stuff to demo. I got stuff that needs to
- 2:58Speaker 1: get out of my mind, out of my heart. This
- 3:02Speaker 1: is what separates One Hit Wonders from History Makers. An
- 3:07Speaker 1: obsessive focus on the mission. What is your vision? There
- 3:13Speaker 1: is a boldness and a fearlessness to take unconventional paths.
- 3:18Speaker 1: This is what separates the 1%. Can you do what
- 3:22Speaker 1: nobody in your bloodline has ever done before? And there
- 3:26Speaker 1: are rooms I'm going to walk into and there are
- 3:28Speaker 1: hands that I have to shake and there are contracts
- 3:31Speaker 1: that I have to sign and there are deals that
- 3:33Speaker 1: I have to close that are going to require me
- 3:36Speaker 1: to lose sleep sometimes. And so if I believe in
- 3:41Speaker 1: the power of the future, then I got to be
- 3:44Speaker 1: willing to get up. So it's time to get up.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Rise and grind, baby. Let's go. It's your turn. It's
- 3:57Speaker 1: your time. You've waited long enough. Opportunity is everywhere. It's
- 4:04Speaker 1: right before your eyes. This is the place where your
- 4:06Speaker 1: hunger for change changes everything. If you're going to win
- 4:10Speaker 1: the fight for your future, you're going to have to
- 4:12Speaker 1: prepare your mindset for the workload. Well, I don't, I
- 4:19Speaker 1: don't do it like them and I don't say it
- 4:21Speaker 1: like them and I don't, I don't have the money
- 4:23Speaker 1: that they have. I don't have the resources that they have.
- 4:25Speaker 1: I don't, well, the reason why I, and so we're
- 4:29Speaker 1: just programmed to blame everybody else. Whatever it is that
- 4:35Speaker 1: you're setting out to do is going to require a
- 4:38Speaker 1: different version of yourself that comes with a different mentality,
- 4:43Speaker 1: a different set of habits, period. If it's going to happen,
- 4:49Speaker 1: you're going to have to eliminate excuses. If you want
- 4:55Speaker 1: your future, then keep listening. If you do not want
- 4:59Speaker 1: your future, leave the room. If you're going to manifest
- 5:07Speaker 1: in your hands what you see in your head, then
- 5:09Speaker 1: you're going to have the courage, the confidence, the self-belief,
- 5:13Speaker 1: and the self-determination to go out. every single day and
- 5:19Speaker 1: make it happen. Stop listening to me. Do something else
- 5:22Speaker 1: on the internet because here's the thing.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Number one, you're.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Going to have to discover or define in your head
- 5:31Speaker 1: what success looks like for you. There are going to
- 5:35Speaker 1: be days where you are going to be so inundated
- 5:37Speaker 1: with responsibility and you are going to want.
- 5:39Speaker 2: To completely let.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Go of the vision, of the dreams, And as bad
- 5:46Speaker 1: as you want to hold it in your hand, you're.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Going to want to let go of it all and quit.
- 5:51Speaker 2: I don't know your name, but I know you have
- 5:53Speaker 2: a dream. I don't know where you're from or where
- 5:56Speaker 2: you're listening to me.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I don't know where you're going, but I know you
- 5:59Speaker 1: are going to where you've got a destination. People that
- 6:04Speaker 1: make excuses are not connected to their destination.
- 6:11Speaker 2: They don't have an end game. They don't have a goal.
- 6:15Speaker 1: I don't know what your story is, but if you
- 6:18Speaker 1: will keep a no excuse mentality, then the sky is
- 6:23Speaker 1: not your limit. The sky is your starting point. This
- 6:27Speaker 1: is an every single day mentality. I never get turned off.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Do yourself a favor. And dispense with the excuses that
- 6:43Speaker 1: you don't have time. Dispense with the excuse that you're
- 6:46Speaker 1: not good enough. Dispense with the excuse that too many
- 6:50Speaker 1: people are better than me. Drop out of the, I
- 6:54Speaker 1: tried it last year and it didn't work.
- 6:56Speaker 2: No, you didn't work.
- 6:59Speaker 1: This is not a, I feel like it today. This
- 7:02Speaker 1: is not a, I'm motivated for a week. This is
- 7:04Speaker 1: an every single day mentality. You got to eat differently.
- 7:11Speaker 1: You got to work differently. You got to think differently.
- 7:14Speaker 1: You got to talk differently. You got to walk differently.
- 7:17Speaker 1: If you want elevation, if you want next level, if
- 7:22Speaker 1: you want to see this thing differently this year, everything
- 7:27Speaker 1: you do has to change. And so there's no excuse.
- 7:31Speaker 1: There's no pain that can turn me off. I want
- 7:35Speaker 1: this thing every single day.
- 7:42Speaker 2: It's not always about the accomplishment. It's about the effort.
- 7:46Speaker 1: If we can just keep the effort going, the excuse
- 7:50Speaker 1: is irrelevant. Every single day somebody's doing something you're not
- 7:54Speaker 1: willing to do to secure the future. You cannot have
- 8:00Speaker 1: success without process, without purging, without sacrificing. If all you
- 8:08Speaker 1: want is success, You will not have it.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Sacrifice is like a currency.
- 8:17Speaker 1: It is a bridge to the future. And if you
- 8:20Speaker 1: don't get acquainted with sacrifice, then you will never have
- 8:26Speaker 1: your future. You will never have what you've aimed for.
- 8:30Speaker 1: You will never hit your target. You will never hit
- 8:32Speaker 1: your objectives. And so if all you want is the success,
- 8:37Speaker 1: if all you want is a trophy, But you don't
- 8:40Speaker 1: want a story, a process. If you don't want to
- 8:43Speaker 1: be made into something, then you've already missed it. You've
- 8:47Speaker 1: already failed. You've already tanked. And so once you get this,
- 8:52Speaker 1: everything changes. You cannot have success without process, without purging,
- 8:59Speaker 1: without sacrificing. And so my question to you really is,
- 9:04Speaker 1: I know you have your eyes on success, the end game,
- 9:06Speaker 1: the trophy, but what conveniences haven't we let go of
- 9:12Speaker 1: that have become cancerous to us? If we're honest, we
- 9:17Speaker 1: should be able to write out a whole list of
- 9:19Speaker 1: things that we're not doing, that we were destined to do,
- 9:23Speaker 1: but our forward motion has been halted by something. Destiny.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Destiny.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Is haunting us, breathing down our necks, asking us, when
- 9:36Speaker 1: are we going to step forward? Because there's something deep
- 9:40Speaker 1: down inside of you that knows that you're not where
- 9:45Speaker 1: you're supposed to be.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Somebody says, I want to be an engineer. Somebody else says,
- 9:50Speaker 2: I want to be an actor. Somebody wants to be
- 9:51Speaker 2: a singer, a doctor, a hygienist, an entrepreneur, a hustler,
- 9:57Speaker 2: an innovator, a pioneer, a farmer.
- 9:59Speaker 1: I I don't know what it is that you want
- 10:01Speaker 1: to do, but everybody's got something they want to do.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Everybody's got something they want to become.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Everybody's got somewhere they believe they've been destined to go.
- 10:11Speaker 1: And oftentimes we don't hit these targets because we're not
- 10:15Speaker 1: considering the cost. sacrifice is like a currency. It is
- 10:22Speaker 1: a bridge to the future. And if you don't get
- 10:25Speaker 1: acquainted with sacrifice, then you will never have your future.
- 10:30Speaker 1: You will never have what you've aimed for. You will
- 10:33Speaker 1: never hit your objectives. This is the year that I
- 10:37Speaker 1: get crystal clear on my values, on my parameters, on
- 10:42Speaker 1: my non-negotiables. This is the year that I make an
- 10:45Speaker 1: investment in myself. This is the year that This is
- 10:50Speaker 1: not the year that I play around with my life.
- 10:53Speaker 1: This is not the year that I sit and wait
- 10:55Speaker 1: for destiny to hunt me down. I will hunt everything
- 10:59Speaker 1: down that belongs to me. So this is not a
- 11:04Speaker 1: Monday to Friday thing. It's a Monday through Monday thing.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Every single day, I'm beating on my craft. Every single day.
- 11:14Speaker 1: I'm looking to become more than I was yesterday. I
- 11:16Speaker 1: am not in competition with anybody. The hustler says the
- 11:20Speaker 1: only person I am competing.
- 11:22Speaker 2: With is who I used to be yesterday.
- 11:25Speaker 1: You may not have been born with natural talent, but
- 11:29Speaker 1: you can put work in and build a skill set.
- 11:36Speaker 1: You can beat on your craft every single day.
- 11:38Speaker 2: Put the hours in. No days off mentality.
- 11:49Speaker 1: There are some things that you love too much. There
- 11:52Speaker 1: are some people that you've kept in your life. They
- 11:55Speaker 1: are toxic. They add no value. They are no longer
- 11:59Speaker 1: serving your vision. And so you've got to begin to
- 12:02Speaker 1: comb through your life and discover what's serving my vision.
- 12:10Speaker 1: I've got a vision. I've got a destiny. I've got
- 12:13Speaker 1: places to go. I've got people to see. I've got
- 12:16Speaker 1: tables to sit at. I've got rooms to walk in.
- 12:20Speaker 1: You've got work to do. You've got a destiny to fulfill.
- 12:25Speaker 1: You've got a purpose to walk into. You've got a
- 12:28Speaker 1: test to pass. You've got dots to connect. Rooms to
- 12:32Speaker 1: walk in. Stages to stand on. And tables to sit
- 12:36Speaker 1: down at. We all want to do something. We all
- 12:39Speaker 1: want to be somebody. We all want to go somewhere.
- 12:42Speaker 1: And if these things are going to happen, we've got
- 12:45Speaker 1: to stop habitually gravitating to excuse. We get one opportunity
- 12:55Speaker 1: to come this way. We get one shot. We got
- 12:57Speaker 1: one life to live. Life is too short to make excuses.
- 13:06Speaker 2: You got one life to live. It's time to get
- 13:08Speaker 2: it done. And this is a very simple but powerful truth.
- 13:14Speaker 2: But oftentimes it is not easy.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Stop waiting for the conditions to be perfect. They're never
- 13:20Speaker 1: going to be perfect. You're not going to always feel
- 13:23Speaker 1: like it. You're not going to always see it. You're
- 13:25Speaker 1: not going to always have a resource. You're not going
- 13:28Speaker 1: to always have a handout. The question is how bad
- 13:32Speaker 1: do you want this? How bad do you want this?
- 13:38Speaker 1: Are you willing to sacrifice? Are you willing to let
- 13:41Speaker 1: go of some things? Are you willing to put the
- 13:44Speaker 1: work in? Are you ready to be consistent? Are you
- 13:48Speaker 1: tired of this version of yourself? The prize goes to
- 13:56Speaker 1: the hardest worker in the room. If you can hear
- 14:01Speaker 1: my voice, if you are tired of where you are,
- 14:06Speaker 1: if you are tired of not hitting your targets, if
- 14:10Speaker 1: you are tired of not being aimed and intentional and assertive,
- 14:18Speaker 1: if you can hear my voice, I'm just wondering if
- 14:20Speaker 1: you are bold enough, daring enough, if your faith is
- 14:25Speaker 1: outrageous enough to take a chance on yourself.
- 14:29Speaker 2: Stop waiting to feel like it.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Stop waiting until you see it. Stop waiting for somebody
- 14:35Speaker 1: to come and save you. Nobody's coming to rescue you.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Nobody's coming with the resource. Nobody's going to be able
- 14:43Speaker 1: to pull you out of the murky water, out.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Of this muddy, bloody, painful, miserable place that you're in.
- 14:50Speaker 2: You're going to have to make up your mind. Enough
- 14:53Speaker 2: is enough.
- 14:54Speaker 1: I'm getting out of this place and I got stuff
- 14:57Speaker 1: to do. I've got assignments to finish. I've got a
- 15:01Speaker 1: destiny to fulfill. It's time to listen. It's time to focus.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Man, let's go.
- 15:07Speaker 1: It's time. And so the reason why you don't have
- 15:14Speaker 1: what it is that you see, the reason why what's.
- 15:17Speaker 2: In your head It's not in your hands. It's not
- 15:21Speaker 2: your reality.
- 15:22Speaker 1: It's because your perspective opposes your potential.
- 15:27Speaker 2: You don't have it because you don't see the value
- 15:30Speaker 2: in it.
- 15:31Speaker 1: If you are going to give and grow and evolve
- 15:35Speaker 1: and attain and become, everything rises and.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Falls on your viewpoint. Perspective. Is everything. Let's go. I
- 15:46Speaker 2: need you to hear me loud and clear. How you
- 15:48Speaker 2: see this thing. Is everything. You cannot. Change the past.
- 15:55Speaker 2: But you can change your perspective about it. Your viewpoint.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Is your advantage. Your viewpoint. Is what changes the game.
- 16:07Speaker 2: What haven't you been able to accomplish? Is it financial?
- 16:10Speaker 2: Is it relational? Is it your health? Is it mental?
- 16:14Speaker 2: Is it spiritual?
- 16:16Speaker 1: What has stopped you? What has haunted you? Why are
- 16:21Speaker 1: you losing sleep over it? Energy flows where focus goes.
- 16:27Speaker 1: So what are you focused on? The problem with many
- 16:30Speaker 1: of you is that you're focused on your fears. You're
- 16:34Speaker 1: focused on the risk more than you are the reward.
- 16:38Speaker 1: You're focused on the pain of the process more than
- 16:42Speaker 1: you are the glory on the other side. All roads
- 16:49Speaker 1: lead back to what you're focusing on and who you're
- 16:53Speaker 1: listening to. You're listening to the wrong people.
- 16:58Speaker 2: You're listening to the wrong voices. You are subscribes. to
- 17:02Speaker 2: the wrong programs of thinking. And so if you.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Haven't been able to get it done, today marks the first.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Day of the best days of your life.
- 17:12Speaker 1: I'm talking to you, the person that there's been this
- 17:16Speaker 1: insurmountable feat, this giant in your face. The trial, the tribulation,
- 17:22Speaker 1: the adversity, the giant is not your assassin.
- 17:26Speaker 2: The giant is your opportunity.
- 17:29Speaker 1: So where focus goes, energy flows.
- 17:33Speaker 2: It's time to pull that energy from fear.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Pull that energy away from doubt, out of anxiety, out
- 17:40Speaker 1: of insecurity, out of competition and comparison.
- 17:45Speaker 2: If you're going to get it done, I need you
- 17:47Speaker 2: to listen and focus.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Are you going to complain in the face of conflict or.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Are you going to seize the opportunity?
- 18:00Speaker 1: You have not been able to get it done because
- 18:02Speaker 1: you're carrying so much weight from the past.
- 18:05Speaker 2: You don't feel like it.
- 18:07Speaker 1: But newsflash, at the end of the day, you can
- 18:11Speaker 1: listen to a million motivational speeches, but you are going
- 18:15Speaker 1: to have to wake up and make a decision to
- 18:18Speaker 1: get it done.
- 18:19Speaker 2: The problem with many of you is that you're.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Not tired enough. Put your blinders on. Straighten up your back.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Get over the pain. Get over the trauma. Get over
- 18:34Speaker 1: the betrayal. Get over who left you. Get over who
- 18:38Speaker 1: lied on you.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Get over it. If you're gonna get it done, you've
- 18:43Speaker 2: gotta get over it. Release the pain. Release the unforgiveness.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Release the fear.
- 18:51Speaker 1: You have everything you need to get started. Stop waiting
- 18:54Speaker 1: for the weather to change in your life. Stop waiting
- 18:57Speaker 1: for the perfect conditions. Stop waiting for a handout. Stop
- 19:02Speaker 1: waiting for everybody to believe in you and cheer for
- 19:05Speaker 1: you and affirm you.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Stand in a mirror and tell yourself, I've got a
- 19:11Speaker 2: destiny to fulfill. Get it done.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Let the world reject you. Let the world close doors
- 19:19Speaker 1: on you. Let the world tell you, no, I'm just wondering, can.
- 19:22Speaker 2: You dig deep inside yourself the future?
- 19:26Speaker 1: The future belongs to the hardest worker in the room.
- 19:30Speaker 1: A wise man once said, it's always impossible until it's done.
- 19:36Speaker 2: So get it done.
- 19:41Speaker 1: When you wake up, life will knock you in the mouth.
- 19:44Speaker 1: It's time to hit back. You've been beaten.
- 19:47Speaker 2: You've been battered. You've been broken. You've been betrayed. You've
- 19:51Speaker 2: been lied on. It's time to hit back. Life knocked
- 19:53Speaker 2: you in the mouth years ago and you haven't hit
- 19:56Speaker 2: back yet.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Get in the ring and hit back. You hit back
- 20:00Speaker 1: with determination. You hit back with focus. You hit back
- 20:04Speaker 1: when you listen. You hit back when you obey what
- 20:07Speaker 1: is right. You hit back when you are disciplined. You
- 20:10Speaker 1: hit back with resilience. Life has hit you too many times.
- 20:15Speaker 1: It's time to get up and hit back. It's hit
- 20:19Speaker 1: back season. Life has hit you and put you flat
- 20:22Speaker 1: on your back. Get up and tell every hater, tell
- 20:27Speaker 1: every doubter, tell every manipulator, tell every liar, everybody that
- 20:33Speaker 1: told you it wasn't possible. Every time life knocked you
- 20:38Speaker 1: in the mouth, put you flat on your back, it's
- 20:41Speaker 1: hit back season.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Get up and hit back.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Tell everybody you're coming for everything God has destined you
- 20:50Speaker 1: to have. There are people who are dead and gone
- 20:53Speaker 1: and they will never be seen again on the face
- 20:57Speaker 1: of this earth. You are here and alive today. Seize
- 21:03Speaker 1: your opportunity.
- 21:07Speaker 2: It's the start that stops most people. Start now.
- 21:14Speaker 1: We all have those moments when we want to quit.
- 21:18Speaker 1: When we want to throw in a towel. Where we
- 21:20Speaker 1: don't see the end game. And the target is not clear.
- 21:27Speaker 1: And we want to travel down the road of least resistance.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Because it's in our nature to be attracted to what
- 21:35Speaker 1: is convenient for what is familiar, what is ordinary. But
- 21:41Speaker 1: if you're listening to me, then you're already walking in
- 21:46Speaker 1: a competitive advantage because you have a hunger and you
- 21:49Speaker 1: have a desire to listen to something that's going to
- 21:52Speaker 1: personally develop you and get you to a place that
- 21:55Speaker 1: you've never been. And so if you can hear my voice,
- 22:00Speaker 1: it's time to stretch. It's time to press. It's your time.
- 22:06Speaker 1: It's your turn. to reach higher, to leap farther, to
- 22:10Speaker 1: run faster, to try again.
- 22:12Speaker 3: I need you to bottle that up because it's that
- 22:16Speaker 3: feeling right there that's going to move you when.
- 22:19Speaker 4: You don't feel like moving.
- 22:21Speaker 3: It's that feeling right there that's going to get you
- 22:23Speaker 3: up when.
- 22:24Speaker 4: You don't feel like getting up.
- 22:27Speaker 3: I need you to do yourself a huge favor and
- 22:30Speaker 3: adopt the mindset that you are going to get 1%
- 22:35Speaker 3: better each and every day And don't stop until you're
- 22:39Speaker 3: proud of yourself. And don't stop until your mama is
- 22:42Speaker 3: proud of you. And don't stop until your daddy is
- 22:44Speaker 3: proud of you. And don't stop until your professor is
- 22:46Speaker 3: proud of you. And everybody in their family is proud
- 22:49Speaker 3: of you.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Someday, at some point in your life, you're going to
- 22:54Speaker 1: be able to look back and say, man, I'm so
- 22:56Speaker 1: glad I didn't quit.
- 22:58Speaker 4: 1% better every day.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Let 1% turn into 2%, 2% turn into 3%, 4%
- 23:05Speaker 3: turn into 5%, 5% turn into 10%, 10% turn into 20%,
- 23:10Speaker 3: and you keep going and going and going.
- 23:13Speaker 4: And let that compound.
- 23:14Speaker 3: And watch, you will have a billionaire's mindset. You will
- 23:19Speaker 3: live like others can't live.
- 23:21Speaker 4: You'll be able to do what others can't do.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Somebody somewhere believes in you, even if they're not close
- 23:28Speaker 1: to you. Somebody is rooting for you to keep going.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Somebody is hoping that you don't quit. They are believing
- 23:36Speaker 1: that you will be the difference maker, the game changer
- 23:40Speaker 1: in your family.
- 23:42Speaker 2: You don't have what it takes. There is more left
- 23:45Speaker 2: in your tank. Your future is worth fighting for.
- 23:51Speaker 1: The moves that you are making are going to impact
- 23:53Speaker 1: the lives of so many people that are.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Depending on you to continue. So you got this. You
- 24:02Speaker 2: can't quit.
- 24:06Speaker 5: We think the results are the thing that needs to change,
- 24:09Speaker 5: but it's actually the process behind the results. Like, what
- 24:11Speaker 5: is the difference between eating a burger and fries for
- 24:14Speaker 5: lunch or eating a salad. Not a whole lot on
- 24:17Speaker 5: any given day. Your body looks basically the same in
- 24:19Speaker 5: the mirror. The scale hasn't really changed. It's really easy
- 24:22Speaker 5: to dismiss it in your mind and say, Oh, this
- 24:24Speaker 5: is kind of insignificant. But you know, you turn around
- 24:27Speaker 5: two or five or 10 years later and you realize,
- 24:29Speaker 5: Oh wow, those daily choices really did add up. It's
- 24:32Speaker 5: just much harder to see on a granular basis. The
- 24:36Speaker 5: cost of your good habits is in the present and
- 24:38Speaker 5: the cost of your bad habits is in the future.
- 24:40Speaker 5: And the fact that we prioritize the present over the
- 24:43Speaker 5: future ends up making a lot of habit change difficult
- 24:46Speaker 5: for that reason.
- 24:48Speaker 1: Maybe you can make an adjustment. Sometimes we got to
- 24:51Speaker 1: make adjustments. Sometimes we need to rest, recover and recharge
- 24:57Speaker 1: so we can try again.
- 25:01Speaker 3: Success isn't overnight. It's when every day You get just
- 25:07Speaker 3: a little bit better than you were the day before.
- 25:12Speaker 2: I promise. No, no, no.
- 25:14Speaker 3: I guarantee all of the wins add up. And that
- 25:20Speaker 3: adds up to you living the life of your dreams.
- 25:23Speaker 3: That adds up to you arriving at your desired destination.
- 25:29Speaker 4: Of next level greatness.
- 25:31Speaker 2: Keep striving. Keep striving.
- 25:34Speaker 1: We've got to get into this space of grace where
- 25:36Speaker 1: we are pacing ourselves and we're honoring our journey and
- 25:41Speaker 1: we're honoring the people that have been planted in our lives.
- 25:45Speaker 2: We're taking a.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Scrupulous investigative approach to our friends and our places and
- 25:53Speaker 1: our acquaintances and our associates and our collaborations and everything
- 25:59Speaker 1: that we're listening to and everywhere we are going and
- 26:02Speaker 1: what we are building and let me tell you something
- 26:05Speaker 1: you already know there are enough people who have not
- 26:08Speaker 1: believed in you There are enough people who have walked
- 26:10Speaker 1: away from you. There are enough people who told you,
- 26:14Speaker 1: you don't have what it takes. You don't measure up.
- 26:17Speaker 1: You will not finish. Don't be the weapon that is
- 26:21Speaker 1: formed against you. There are enough people that are counting
- 26:24Speaker 1: you out. There are enough people that are saying you
- 26:27Speaker 1: can't finish. Do not join them. It doesn't matter how broken,
- 26:33Speaker 1: how weary and devastated you are right now.
- 26:37Speaker 2: That pain.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Will not last forever. At some point, it will subside.
- 26:42Speaker 1: And when it does, discipline, resilience, fire, passion, power will
- 26:50Speaker 1: take its place. So keep going because it's all worth it.
- 26:54Speaker 3: You are strong enough to shut down those negative voices
- 26:57Speaker 3: each and every time they attack you. You are strong
- 27:00Speaker 3: enough to shut down that negative thought process each and
- 27:03Speaker 3: every time it attacks you. So the question is, How
- 27:08Speaker 3: do you eat an elephant? And the answer is one
- 27:13Speaker 3: bite at a time. So the question is, how do
- 27:20Speaker 3: you win in your game of life? And the answer
- 27:25Speaker 3: is 1% better each and every day. You just got
- 27:31Speaker 3: to keep compounding those wins. to get busy living, while
- 27:36Speaker 3: so many others made the choice to get busy giving up.
- 27:41Speaker 4: That's exactly why they can't live up to your standards.
- 27:44Speaker 3: You set your bar high, and if anybody wants to
- 27:46Speaker 3: be on your level, you don't reach down and grab them.
- 27:50Speaker 3: You make them climb up and meet you. Your mindset
- 27:53Speaker 3: is elevation. Your mindset is graduation. Your mindset is high plateau.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Your mindset is next level living. And that means you're
- 28:01Speaker 3: giving every ounce of your soul 1% better each and
- 28:06Speaker 3: every day.
- 28:08Speaker 6: So don't make a decision today that you will regret
- 28:11Speaker 6: in a year or two. Don't be fooled by the
- 28:13Speaker 6: way things appear. The truth is that even when it
- 28:17Speaker 6: feels like nothing is happening, The seeds that you've sown
- 28:22Speaker 6: over the last few years are still working for you.
- 28:26Speaker 2: All of the.
- 28:27Speaker 6: Sacrifices that you made up until this point are not
- 28:31Speaker 6: in vain. So this is not the time to focus
- 28:35Speaker 6: on what you don't have. What you do have.
- 28:39Speaker 3: See, the victory mindset surrounds itself with good energy. and
- 28:44Speaker 3: wins the daily personal battles, and never lets itself become.
- 28:48Speaker 4: Its own worst enemy.
- 28:51Speaker 3: Sometimes it's us that stops us from going to the
- 28:54Speaker 3: next level. Sometimes it's you that stops you from going
- 28:58Speaker 3: to the next level. See, you get to choose. Because
- 29:03Speaker 3: your mindset was set to refuse to lose.
- 29:06Speaker 4: Your mindset was, I will win.
- 29:08Speaker 3: Your mindset was 1% better each and every day.
- 29:11Speaker 4: And don't stop until I'm proud. Don't stop until my
- 29:15Speaker 4: family's proud.
- 29:16Speaker 3: Don't stop until I'm generating generational wealth. Don't stop until
- 29:20Speaker 3: everybody around me is winning. See, the resilient mindset never
- 29:27Speaker 3: gives in or concedes. It makes the necessary adjustments necessary.
- 29:32Speaker 3: and then executes the new plan until it succeeds. I
- 29:37Speaker 3: just need you to celebrate the small wins along the way.
- 29:41Speaker 3: Always strive to be better. Go all in every day
- 29:47Speaker 3: and be better than you were yesterday. And if that's
- 29:50Speaker 3: your mission, if that's your mindset, if that's your mantra,
- 29:55Speaker 3: you can't help but dominate each and every day of
- 29:57Speaker 3: your life.
- 29:59Speaker 2: I get it.
- 30:00Speaker 3: There will be moments when the spirit ain't moving you.
- 30:04Speaker 3: There will be moments when the spirit ain't lifting you.
- 30:07Speaker 3: There will be moments when you simply don't feel like
- 30:09Speaker 3: doing what you know you need to do. But that's
- 30:13Speaker 3: when you rewind this back and go back about three
- 30:16Speaker 3: minutes ago because you got something bottled up because.
- 30:20Speaker 4: You've done this before.
- 30:22Speaker 3: And I need you to open that top on that
- 30:23Speaker 3: bottle and pop that pill of greatness and do it anyway.
- 30:29Speaker 2: I know you're tired. I know you're ready to quit.
- 30:33Speaker 1: I know what it feels like to be exasperated and
- 30:37Speaker 1: so beat down that you can't even see the light
- 30:42Speaker 1: at the end of the tunnel anymore. And if it
- 30:44Speaker 1: showed up, you would ignore it. I know what that
- 30:48Speaker 1: feels like. But if you get blessed to see another day,
- 30:52Speaker 1: then you better scorch the earth with that beautiful light.
- 30:57Speaker 1: It is in our nature to be very disempowering, pessimistic,
- 31:01Speaker 1: negative people. I need you to wake up in this
- 31:07Speaker 1: new day, in this moment, and.
- 31:09Speaker 2: Seize the opportunity. You are alive for a reason in
- 31:14Speaker 2: the end.
- 31:15Speaker 1: If you're going to be fully persuaded about anything, persuade
- 31:18Speaker 1: yourself to keep going.
- 31:20Speaker 2: And the more that you influence you, you will influence
- 31:23Speaker 2: the world. So keep going.
- 31:26Speaker 1: Until you have won some small victory for humanity.
- 31:31Speaker 6: The lifestyle you want is within reach. You just have
- 31:34Speaker 6: to commit to being committed. You've got to decide that
- 31:39Speaker 6: nothing will stop you. Not even your doubts or your fears.
- 31:45Speaker 6: The discomfort is temporary. But the skills, the knowledge, and
- 31:50Speaker 6: the habits that you are developing right now will continue
- 31:54Speaker 6: to pay off.
- 31:56Speaker 3: You got a choice to make, my friend. Survival mode
- 32:00Speaker 3: or thrival mode. It all starts with the mindset. It
- 32:04Speaker 3: all starts with the grind set. It all starts with
- 32:06Speaker 3: you just simply saying, I'm going to be better than
- 32:09Speaker 3: I was yesterday. It all starts with you simply saying 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5%.
- 32:15Speaker 3: You keep counting each and every day and celebrate the
- 32:18Speaker 3: small wins.
- 32:18Speaker 2: Along the way.
- 32:21Speaker 4: They want to see you lose. I want to see
- 32:25Speaker 4: you win. What do you want, though?
- 32:33Speaker 1: If all you want is success, you will not have it.
- 32:39Speaker 1: And so if all you want is the success, if
- 32:41Speaker 1: all you want is a trophy, but you don't want
- 32:44Speaker 1: a story, a process, if you don't want to be
- 32:47Speaker 1: made into something, then you've already missed it. You've already failed.
- 32:51Speaker 1: You've already tanked. And so once you get this, everything changes.
- 32:58Speaker 1: what have been the biggest obstacles in your life what
- 33:01Speaker 1: has stopped you what has hindered you what has provoked
- 33:04Speaker 1: you to get.
- 33:05Speaker 7: Lazy when life pushed you down when everybody said you
- 33:10Speaker 7: are not enough when you told yourself i quit because
- 33:14Speaker 7: i can't finish and you got back up the next
- 33:17Speaker 7: day and kept going sacrifice is.
- 33:20Speaker 1: Going to have to become your companion and no longer
- 33:22Speaker 1: your enemy Too many of you think sacrifice is your enemy.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Sacrifice is a curse word. Sacrifice is bad. I don't
- 33:29Speaker 2: want to sacrifice. Well, guess what?
- 33:33Speaker 1: You cannot have success without process, without sacrifice.
- 33:39Speaker 2: You cannot have it.
- 33:41Speaker 1: If all you see is success, then you've missed the
- 33:45Speaker 1: entire moment. Because it is the journey.
- 33:48Speaker 2: It is the grit. It is the grind. It's the
- 33:51Speaker 2: prayers that you pray.
- 33:52Speaker 1: It's the tears that you've cried. It's the rejection that
- 33:55Speaker 1: you've had to take on your back. And so we
- 33:58Speaker 1: all know these things that we've got to sacrifice oftentimes.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Sometimes it's sleep. Sometimes it's your relationship.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Sometimes it's those urges that we might get and we
- 34:07Speaker 1: got to sacrifice those urges.
- 34:08Speaker 2: We got to sacrifice.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Is it fear that we need to let go of?
- 34:15Speaker 1: Is it unnecessary stress? Come on, is it those unidentified triggers?
- 34:19Speaker 2: What is it? What hobbies do I need to let
- 34:21Speaker 2: go of? What people do I need to let go of?
- 34:23Speaker 1: What opinions of people do I need to let go of?
- 34:26Speaker 2: What's wasting my time?
- 34:29Speaker 1: And so when sacrifice becomes your companion, it is only
- 34:34Speaker 1: then that we can begin to step into the process
- 34:37Speaker 1: of what is required to climb mountains.
- 34:40Speaker 2: Everybody wants to get to the top of the mountain,
- 34:41Speaker 2: but nobody wants to climb. Sacrifice is going to build me.
- 34:45Speaker 1: Sacrifice is going to prepare me.
- 34:46Speaker 2: I'm going to be equipped. I'm going to be conditioned.
- 34:50Speaker 1: Destiny is haunting us, breathing down our necks, asking.
- 34:55Speaker 2: Us, when are we going to step forward?
- 34:59Speaker 1: When are we going to march into this thing? Michael
- 35:04Speaker 1: Jordan has a $ 2 billion net worth.
- 35:07Speaker 2: That's beautiful. But what was the cost for all of that?
- 35:11Speaker 1: How did he win games? How did he win championships?
- 35:15Speaker 1: How hard did he practice? How crazy was his faith?
- 35:17Speaker 1: How many vacations did Michael Jordan have to turn down?
- 35:21Speaker 1: How many parties did he have to walk out of?
- 35:24Speaker 2: How many people had to be amputated out of his life?
- 35:27Speaker 2: Everybody wants to celebrate the.
- 35:29Speaker 1: $ 2 billion evaluation of his enterprise. But it came at
- 35:34Speaker 1: a cost. It came with some sleepless nights. It came
- 35:37Speaker 1: with some long practices. It came with a lot of no's.
- 35:42Speaker 7: No, no, no, no.
- 35:43Speaker 2: I can't do the party.
- 35:44Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 35:45Speaker 2: I'm not going to do the drinking. No, I'm not
- 35:47Speaker 2: connecting with them.
- 35:48Speaker 1: No, I don't need that circle. No, it came with
- 35:51Speaker 1: a lot of no's. It came with a lot of sacrifice.
- 35:53Speaker 1: It comes with a lot of rejecting. It comes with
- 35:58Speaker 1: a lot of awareness of what is not serving the vision.
- 36:06Speaker 1: had a temperature of over 100 degrees and won the
- 36:09Speaker 1: game over the Jazz in 95, a champion.
- 36:13Speaker 2: But he sacrificed comfort. He sacrificed convenience.
- 36:17Speaker 1: He had to sacrifice and reject the voices in his
- 36:19Speaker 1: head that said, you're crazy, you're sick, you need to rest,
- 36:23Speaker 1: you need to sit down. If I'm going to see success,
- 36:27Speaker 1: I've got to define what sacrifices I require in order
- 36:31Speaker 1: to step into it.
- 36:33Speaker 2: I cannot have it. I will not see it until
- 36:36Speaker 2: I've counted up the cost.
- 36:40Speaker 1: You'll find yourself connected to 100 people that think they
- 36:42Speaker 1: know what you should be doing to get where you're
- 36:44Speaker 1: supposed to be. And so I've got to begin to
- 36:46Speaker 1: shut the mouths of the people that don't know the cost,
- 36:49Speaker 1: the price that I have to pay. You may have
- 36:52Speaker 1: paid that, but I may not have to pay that price.
- 36:56Speaker 1: I can learn from your mistakes. I don't have to
- 36:58Speaker 1: fall down the same ditches you fell down. I don't
- 37:00Speaker 1: have to flop down the same stairs you flopped down.
- 37:04Speaker 1: That's your price. That's your cause. I've got another way.
- 37:08Speaker 1: I've got a different mentality. I just may be a
- 37:10Speaker 1: little bit more creative than you. I just may be
- 37:12Speaker 1: a little bit more innovative. I just may have more
- 37:15Speaker 1: faith than you. I don't have to fall like you fell.
- 37:18Speaker 1: I don't have to hurt like you hurt. I can
- 37:20Speaker 1: look up and get up. When did you get to
- 37:23Speaker 1: the point where you snapped so easily, when you let
- 37:26Speaker 1: go so easily, when you gave up so easily? I
- 37:30Speaker 1: know what it's like to feel like, if I keep going,
- 37:32Speaker 1: I'm going to waste my time. We all get to
- 37:34Speaker 1: this point in our life where we ask ourselves the question,
- 37:37Speaker 1: what have I held on to that should.
- 37:39Speaker 2: Have been amputated? All of us are holding on to something.
- 37:45Speaker 1: That is familiar and we are comfortable and it has
- 37:49Speaker 1: become our paradigm, our pattern, our way of life. And
- 37:52Speaker 1: if we're honest, we can't see ourselves without this thing.
- 37:56Speaker 2: I don't know what it is for you.
- 37:58Speaker 1: Everybody's got a different thing, person, place, something that needs
- 38:02Speaker 1: to be amputated out of our life. Cut off that's
- 38:04Speaker 1: no longer serving us. And so my question to you
- 38:08Speaker 1: really is, I know you have your eyes on success,
- 38:11Speaker 1: the end game, the trophy, but.
- 38:14Speaker 2: What.
- 38:14Speaker 1: Conveniences haven't we let go of that have.
- 38:19Speaker 2: Become cancerous to us?
- 38:22Speaker 1: If we're honest, we should be able to write out
- 38:24Speaker 1: a whole list of things that we're not doing that
- 38:27Speaker 1: we were destined to do, but our.
- 38:31Speaker 2: Forward motion has been halted by something.
- 38:35Speaker 1: Are you willing to confess to yourself what haven't you
- 38:39Speaker 1: been willing to surrender?
- 38:41Speaker 2: Why is it that you think what's killing you is
- 38:43Speaker 2: helping you?
- 38:44Speaker 1: You're bleeding out. You're directionless. You don't even have an
- 38:49Speaker 1: idea where you are. And you're so comfortable, yet you're
- 38:54Speaker 1: so annoyed because there's something deep down inside of you
- 38:58Speaker 1: that knows that you're not where you're supposed to be.
- 39:03Speaker 1: So now we've got to start talking about the things
- 39:05Speaker 1: that we need to sacrifice. What is it that needs
- 39:08Speaker 1: to be amputated? that I thought was assigned to be
- 39:12Speaker 1: an aid to me, that I thought was a help,
- 39:16Speaker 1: that I thought.
- 39:17Speaker 2: Was an assignment, is actually my assassin.
- 39:22Speaker 1: It's the things in our life that we think are
- 39:23Speaker 1: helping us, that we're assigned to, that are oftentimes assigned
- 39:28Speaker 1: to kill us. what have you clinged to that should
- 39:33Speaker 1: have been amputated years ago I don't know what it
- 39:35Speaker 1: is you know I don't have to know you need
- 39:37Speaker 1: to know is it laziness is it procrastination is it
- 39:40Speaker 1: ego is it fear is it doubt is it rejection
- 39:45Speaker 1: Is it abandonment?
- 39:46Speaker 2: Is it just pain? I mean, what is it? What
- 39:49Speaker 2: is it? Why, why, why, why, why?
- 39:52Speaker 1: Haven't you been able to succeed in specific areas that
- 39:55Speaker 1: you've set out to conquer, that you've set out to dominate,
- 39:58Speaker 1: that you've set out to be the best? Why is
- 40:00Speaker 1: it that you haven't been able to succeed?
- 40:02Speaker 2: Why, why, why?
- 40:03Speaker 1: Just of these questions. And what haven't you been willing
- 40:07Speaker 1: to sacrifice? We all know the list. There's no time
- 40:10Speaker 1: to get amnesia now. We all know the list of
- 40:11Speaker 1: things we got to sacrifice. Are we going to have
- 40:14Speaker 1: immediate gratification.
- 40:16Speaker 2: And long-term dysfunction? Or are we going to.
- 40:18Speaker 1: Have long-term gratification and short-term discomfort? Here's the thing. If
- 40:30Speaker 1: you want your future, then keep listening. There are going
- 40:35Speaker 1: to be days where you are going to be so
- 40:37Speaker 1: inundated with responsibility and you are.
- 40:39Speaker 2: Going to want to completely let go of the vision,
- 40:46Speaker 2: of the dream.
- 40:47Speaker 1: As bad as you want to hold it in your hand,
- 40:51Speaker 1: you're going to want to let go of it all
- 40:52Speaker 1: and quit. And I don't care if you have to
- 40:55Speaker 1: listen to me 10,000 times. If you have to listen
- 40:59Speaker 1: to this in your sleep, write it down, read it
- 41:04Speaker 1: every day until the dream becomes a reality.
- 41:09Speaker 2: This is the power of discipline.
- 41:14Speaker 1: The race is not given to the swift nor the strong,
- 41:18Speaker 1: but it is he that endures to the end. They
- 41:22Speaker 1: say that discipline is doing what you hate like you
- 41:27Speaker 1: love it.
- 41:28Speaker 2: For some of you, it might be reading. For some
- 41:29Speaker 2: of you, it might be exercising.
- 41:31Speaker 1: I don't know what it is that you hate, but
- 41:33Speaker 1: do it like you love it and do it daily.
- 41:37Speaker 1: In order to understand discipline, discipline is revealed in our
- 41:42Speaker 1: daily routines and rituals. Discipline unfolds. If you want your future,
- 41:49Speaker 1: you have to cross the bridge of discipline. If you
- 41:52Speaker 1: want to get out of the room of ordinary, you
- 41:55Speaker 1: have to go through the door of discipline.
- 41:57Speaker 2: If you want to dig yourself out.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Of murky, muddy water, if you want to claw your
- 42:04Speaker 1: way to the top of You are going to have
- 42:06Speaker 1: to climb the wall of discipline.
- 42:08Speaker 2: There is no other way. I need you to tell
- 42:11Speaker 2: yourself right now, there is no other way. There is
- 42:13Speaker 2: no other way. There is no other way. The future
- 42:16Speaker 2: belongs to the discipline.
- 42:19Speaker 1: Discipline is found in our daily routine, our daily rituals.
- 42:25Speaker 1: You may use discipline on occasion, but you're not disciplined.
- 42:31Speaker 2: And there's a.
- 42:31Speaker 1: Difference between having discipline and being disciplined.
- 42:35Speaker 2: When you have.
- 42:36Speaker 1: Discipline, you're selective. When you have discipline, you're conditional. It
- 42:41Speaker 1: depends on how you feel. When you are disciplined, how
- 42:45Speaker 1: you do anything is how you do everything, and everything
- 42:48Speaker 1: you do, you show up at a thousand percent. Everything
- 42:51Speaker 1: you do, you execute with a spirit of excellence. That's
- 42:55Speaker 1: what discipline looks like.
- 42:57Speaker 2: Seize the moment. Lean into now.
- 43:03Speaker 1: See the power, the beauty, the brilliance, the privilege in now.
- 43:11Speaker 1: There are people who are dead and gone and they
- 43:12Speaker 1: will never be back. And if they can come back,
- 43:15Speaker 1: they will kill to live your now.
- 43:18Speaker 2: So be thankful for now. Love your now.
- 43:25Speaker 1: Number one, you're going to have to discover or define
- 43:29Speaker 1: in your head what success looks like for you. Because
- 43:35Speaker 1: success is not completely wrapped up in what your mom
- 43:37Speaker 1: thinks or what your dad thinks or what anybody else thinks.
- 43:41Speaker 1: Success is wrapped up in this truth. What do you
- 43:44Speaker 1: believe you are destined to become? What do you believe
- 43:47Speaker 1: you are destined to do? So you need to get
- 43:49Speaker 1: crystal clear on what that looks like for you. Because
- 43:53Speaker 1: it may not look like it did for your sister,
- 43:55Speaker 1: your brother, your mom, your auntie, your uncle. What does
- 43:58Speaker 1: it look like for you? Define it. Some of us
- 44:04Speaker 1: don't have a defined purpose. And this is why everything
- 44:09Speaker 1: we do is random. This is why you can.
- 44:12Speaker 2: Waste two hours on the internet doing nothing.
- 44:15Speaker 1: This is why you waste time because our purpose is
- 44:20Speaker 1: not defined.
- 44:21Speaker 2: Our future. We're not crystal clear on our future.
- 44:26Speaker 1: Once we discover and we define what does success look
- 44:30Speaker 1: like for me? What does the future look like for me?
- 44:33Speaker 1: Once we're crystal clear on that, we got to discover.
- 44:37Speaker 1: We got to define. We got to get dedicated. We
- 44:41Speaker 1: got to do those things that we hate like we
- 44:43Speaker 1: love it. The wise man once said, conquer yourself. This
- 44:49Speaker 1: is wrapped up in dedication. We have to get dedicated.
- 44:52Speaker 1: Conquer yourself. Once you've unlocked those daily routines, those daily
- 44:57Speaker 1: rituals that you stay committed to, the game's going to change.
- 45:02Speaker 1: The only way you're going to get dedicated is if
- 45:05Speaker 1: you eliminate All distractions. And you gotta be so dedicated
- 45:11Speaker 1: that every distraction gets blocked out. You gotta learn how
- 45:16Speaker 1: to turn your phone off, turn the technology off.
- 45:19Speaker 2: When the speech is over.
- 45:21Speaker 1: When the moment is done, when the song and the
- 45:24Speaker 1: dance has ended, you gotta learn how to eliminate all distractions.
- 45:30Speaker 2: Who are you with? That is a distraction. Where do
- 45:34Speaker 2: you go? That is a distraction.
- 45:37Speaker 1: So there's who's and there's what's and there's where's that
- 45:41Speaker 1: are distractions in our life and we have to identify
- 45:44Speaker 1: them and eliminate them.
- 45:46Speaker 2: This is the only way we stay dedicated.
- 45:48Speaker 1: Go find a mirror and look in that mirror and say, motivated, dedicated, motivated, dedicated.
- 45:56Speaker 1: So we discover, we define, we dedicate ourselves. We do
- 46:01Speaker 1: what we hate like we love it.
- 46:03Speaker 2: We conquer ourselves.
- 46:05Speaker 1: We identify and eliminate all distractions. So now you're going
- 46:13Speaker 1: to have to have some perseverance. We talk about perseverance.
- 46:16Speaker 1: We're talking about persistent. We're talking about pressing and pushing
- 46:20Speaker 1: towards something despite difficulty, despite delay, despite distractions, despite the doubters,
- 46:26Speaker 1: despite the naysayers. This is somebody who perseveres, who has
- 46:31Speaker 1: an unwavering tenacity to achieve what it is that they
- 46:35Speaker 1: see in their head.
- 46:39Speaker 2: You got to learn to love where you are.
- 46:40Speaker 1: Disciplined people are people that have an aim.
- 46:49Speaker 2: They have a target.
- 46:51Speaker 1: But they are also a people that understand the beauty,
- 46:54Speaker 1: the brilliance, and the power of now.
- 46:58Speaker 2: You got to learn to love now.
- 47:01Speaker 1: When we talk about being disciplined, It is somebody that
- 47:05Speaker 1: has an objective, yes, it is somebody that has an
- 47:08Speaker 1: end game, a goal, an aim, a target, but a
- 47:11Speaker 1: disciplined man or woman learns to love now.
- 47:16Speaker 2: You may not be there, but you love who you
- 47:19Speaker 2: are becoming.
- 47:20Speaker 1: You enjoy, you enthusiastically engage in the everyday grind, and
- 47:26Speaker 1: you love the lessons.
- 47:28Speaker 2: That you're learning. You may not be there yet, it's
- 47:32Speaker 2: still in sight, it's still on the.
- 47:34Speaker 1: Horizon, but you are ecstatic and elated about the lessons
- 47:40Speaker 1: you are learning on a daily basis. You gotta love
- 47:44Speaker 1: the fact that you may be a D, a F,
- 47:46Speaker 1: or a C student, and you know you were designed
- 47:48Speaker 1: to be an A plus.
- 47:48Speaker 2: Student, but you gotta learn to love yourself right where
- 47:51Speaker 2: you are.
- 47:53Speaker 1: You may not have it yet. You may not see
- 47:55Speaker 1: it all yet. You may not have the full support system.
- 47:58Speaker 1: You may not even understand completely where God wants to
- 48:01Speaker 1: take you. But if you would just love your now,
- 48:08Speaker 1: This comes with gratitude, appreciation, a heart of thanksgiving.
- 48:12Speaker 2: For now, hear truth. You will never be here again.
- 48:18Speaker 1: The age that you are, the place where you are,
- 48:22Speaker 1: the connections that you have, this very moment.
- 48:25Speaker 2: We will never be here again. Cease the moment.
- 48:30Speaker 1: If I were to give you one last piece of advice,
- 48:32Speaker 1: remember this last point. Now that you're crystal clear on
- 48:36Speaker 1: where you're going, who you believe you've been destined to become,
- 48:40Speaker 1: what you believe you've been destined to do. You need
- 48:43Speaker 1: to fix your eyes on somebody who's already done it.
- 48:46Speaker 1: And so you've got to be surrounded by a multitude
- 48:48Speaker 1: of counsel and mentors and coaches and people that will
- 48:52Speaker 1: provoke you.
- 48:52Speaker 2: And agitate you to greatness.
- 48:56Speaker 1: And so if all of your friends are beneath you,
- 48:59Speaker 1: if you're the smartest person in the room, you've already lost.
- 49:02Speaker 1: If majority of your network is a distraction, you're bankrupt.
- 49:07Speaker 1: If everybody's language is you work too hard, you read
- 49:09Speaker 1: too much, you care too much, you're doing too much,
- 49:11Speaker 1: it doesn't take all that. Your relationship landscape is bankrupt.
- 49:16Speaker 1: It's time to get out of debt. It's time to
- 49:19Speaker 1: get out of debt. Eliminate distractions. Love your now. Talent
- 49:33Speaker 1: does not win championships.
- 49:36Speaker 2: Work ethic does.
- 49:38Speaker 1: We watch those who are We're motivated by those who work,
- 49:41Speaker 1: but we never put in the work.
- 49:43Speaker 2: And so if there's anything that's broken.
- 49:45Speaker 1: In you nine times out of 10, it is the
- 49:48Speaker 1: law of application. It's not really ringing true in your heart.
- 49:52Speaker 1: You're still in your feelings. You're still in your emotions.
- 49:55Speaker 1: You're still locked in your paradigm of preferences. And the
- 49:59Speaker 1: moment that you break free and stop doing what you
- 50:02Speaker 1: feel like doing and do what you must do to
- 50:04Speaker 1: get the job done, that, and at that point only,
- 50:09Speaker 1: will you be able to see the future?
- 50:11Speaker 2: The future is going to cost you everything. Mr. X
- 50:15Speaker 2: is whatever success looks like for you. Mr.
- 50:18Speaker 1: X is a portrait, a picture, an example of whatever
- 50:22Speaker 1: it is success means to you. And I want to
- 50:26Speaker 1: be the first to tell you, if you didn't know,
- 50:29Speaker 1: The elevator doesn't go to the top. You cannot take
- 50:33Speaker 1: the elevator to the top. You might get to the
- 50:36Speaker 1: 20th floor, you might get to the 30th floor, but
- 50:39Speaker 1: you're not going to get to the 40th floor or
- 50:41Speaker 1: whatever floor your success is on.
- 50:44Speaker 2: Taking the elevator.
- 50:45Speaker 1: At some point in time, you're going to have to
- 50:48Speaker 1: take the stairs.
- 50:49Speaker 2: And so the.
- 50:49Speaker 1: Moment that you start to take the stairs, boom, that's
- 50:53Speaker 1: when the adversity hits. You got to be willing to
- 50:55Speaker 1: take some no's. You have to be willing to get rejected.
- 50:58Speaker 1: You have to be willing for people to lie on you.
- 51:00Speaker 2: You have to be willing.
- 51:02Speaker 1: To be dragged through the mud and through murky water.
- 51:04Speaker 1: You can't take the elevator to the top. At some point,
- 51:08Speaker 1: you got to take the stairs. And when you take
- 51:11Speaker 1: the stairs, you're going to learn a lesson that the
- 51:13Speaker 1: elevator could never teach you. Rejection does something to you.
- 51:18Speaker 2: Hardship does something to you. Conflict does something to you.
- 51:22Speaker 1: The elevator can't teach you the lesson that the stairwell
- 51:26Speaker 1: teaches you. But I bet you this, by the time
- 51:28Speaker 1: you get to that 40th floor, by the time you
- 51:32Speaker 1: shake the hand of Mr. X, you will be prepared
- 51:36Speaker 1: to sustain.
- 51:37Speaker 2: What you work for. Everybody always talks about getting to
- 51:41Speaker 2: the top.
- 51:42Speaker 1: Everybody always talks about going after their dream.
- 51:45Speaker 2: But nobody talks about retention, retention, retention.
- 51:49Speaker 1: And the work that is required not only to get there,
- 51:52Speaker 1: but to stay there and go to the next level.
- 51:56Speaker 1: And so the mentality you're going to have to have
- 51:58Speaker 1: if you're going to win, if you're going to conquer
- 52:01Speaker 1: your day, conquer.
- 52:02Speaker 2: Your week, if you're going to win the year, I
- 52:06Speaker 2: need you to remember that talent... Does not win championships.
- 52:11Speaker 1: Work ethic does. Here's the mentality you're going to need.
- 52:17Speaker 1: That nobody's going to outwork you.
- 52:18Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 52:19Speaker 1: I love you, but you're not going to outwork me.
- 52:21Speaker 1: I'm with you, but you're not going to outwork me.
- 52:23Speaker 1: We're connected, but you're not going to outwork me. We
- 52:25Speaker 1: can dream together. We can lean in together, but you're
- 52:28Speaker 1: not going to outwork me. We may be in the
- 52:30Speaker 1: same class, but you're not.
- 52:31Speaker 2: Going to outwork me.
- 52:32Speaker 1: Number one, I need you to have the made up
- 52:34Speaker 1: and fully persuaded mind that nobody outworks It's going to
- 52:39Speaker 1: outwork you. Stop sitting around moping and complaining and waiting
- 52:44Speaker 1: for somebody to connect the dots for you.
- 52:46Speaker 2: Put the work in and take the stairs to the top.
- 52:51Speaker 2: Ask yourself the question, what are you known for?
- 52:55Speaker 1: I need you to become notorious for service, notorious for
- 52:59Speaker 1: work ethic, notorious for finishing what you start. You got
- 53:03Speaker 1: to be willing to lose sleep to go after this dream.
- 53:06Speaker 1: You have to be willing to lose sleep to graduate.
- 53:09Speaker 1: You have to be willing to lose sleep to pass
- 53:11Speaker 1: the exam. I need you to have a whatever it
- 53:13Speaker 1: takes mentality. If you want to win, you're going to
- 53:17Speaker 1: have to get upset sometimes. And I'm not talking about
- 53:20Speaker 1: a non-productive anger. I'm talking about a massively productive disappointment.
- 53:25Speaker 1: You're going to have to get disappointed sometimes with where
- 53:28Speaker 1: you are. This is what I like to call proactive disappointment.
- 53:32Speaker 2: I'm upset with where I am. I'm upset with what
- 53:35Speaker 2: I have not accomplished. I'm upset at every time I've
- 53:39Speaker 2: allowed myself to be distracted. Get upset.
- 53:42Speaker 1: Get disappointed with yourself. You're upset with the moments in
- 53:45Speaker 1: your life where you allowed yourself to sink into depression,
- 53:48Speaker 1: where you allowed yourself to become distracted.
- 53:50Speaker 2: Get upset.
- 53:52Speaker 1: Get flat out mad about where you are. Don't get
- 53:55Speaker 1: mad to quit. Get mad to keep going. That's the
- 53:59Speaker 1: problem is that you have to rewire and redirect your anger.
- 54:04Speaker 1: I'm not going to be upset and quit. I'm going
- 54:07Speaker 1: to get mad and stay in it. From this moment on,
- 54:09Speaker 1: I need you to give it everything you have. Show
- 54:12Speaker 1: up and play at the highest level of.
- 54:14Speaker 2: Yourself every single time.
- 54:17Speaker 1: If you're going to put the work in, if you're
- 54:20Speaker 1: going to give it everything you have, all the blood,
- 54:22Speaker 1: all the sweat, all the tears, give it a thousand percent.
- 54:26Speaker 1: This is the only way you are going to make
- 54:28Speaker 1: it to the top. You're going to have stairs called confusion.
- 54:31Speaker 1: You're going to have stairs called rejection. You're going to
- 54:34Speaker 1: have stairs called misunderstanding, but keep climbing. you're going to
- 54:39Speaker 1: have sabotage and betrayal and people are going to lie
- 54:42Speaker 1: to you and people are going to give up on
- 54:44Speaker 1: you and people are going to write you off listen
- 54:46Speaker 1: to me before you get to the 40th floor people
- 54:49Speaker 1: will write you off people will count you out but
- 54:53Speaker 1: i need you to climb every stair every obstacle that
- 54:58Speaker 1: stands in your way because when you get to the
- 55:00Speaker 1: top you're gonna meet mr x And after you meet
- 55:05Speaker 1: that ex, there's going to be another ex. Whatever your
- 55:07Speaker 1: ex is, define your ex. You've got to be willing
- 55:10Speaker 1: to be punctual. You have to be disciplined. You've got
- 55:13Speaker 1: to be the first to get there and the last
- 55:15Speaker 1: to leave. You have to invest your time wisely. I
- 55:19Speaker 1: need you to maintain a balanced lifestyle. You have to
- 55:23Speaker 1: develop a hunger for mentorship. You need to develop a
- 55:26Speaker 1: hunger for wisdom. You need to develop a thirst for
- 55:30Speaker 1: correction and constructive analysis. You need to stop having a
- 55:33Speaker 1: problem with being corrected. So my budget for empowerment and
- 55:39Speaker 1: education must exceed my budget for entertainment. You may be discouraged,
- 55:45Speaker 1: but work. You may be tired, but work. You may
- 55:48Speaker 1: be overwhelmed, but work. People may have doubted you. People
- 55:53Speaker 1: may have written you off, but work. You may not
- 55:56Speaker 1: feel qualified, but work. You may feel underestimated, overlooked, and undervalued,
- 56:03Speaker 1: but work. If you want to win, you have to work.
- 56:07Speaker 2: You got to work with tears in your eyes.
- 56:10Speaker 1: You got to work when nobody understands why you're working
- 56:13Speaker 1: so hard.
- 56:13Speaker 2: You got to work when you don't feel like it.
- 56:17Speaker 1: And one of the things I need you to do
- 56:18Speaker 1: from this moment forward is to get out of your feelings.
- 56:23Speaker 1: Because if you only work when you feel like it,
- 56:25Speaker 1: you won't get much done. Destiny is not about how
- 56:29Speaker 1: you feel. Destiny is what you're called to do. It's
- 56:35Speaker 1: what you are anointed to do. It's what you are
- 56:38Speaker 1: assigned to do. It is an appointment that none of
- 56:41Speaker 1: us can afford to miss. Accept the fact, whatever you're
- 56:45Speaker 1: going to accomplish, it is going to require hard work.
