- Amanda: What is up, guys? Welcome back to another episode of Let's Talk Football Married Edition. It is Thursday, September 17th. Yes, we are filming this the same day we're releasing it. We are fully official fantasy football podcast now, baby. I'm Amanda. This is my husband. You already know him, but that's Drew. And we're gearing up for week two of Fantasy Football. But listen, drum roll before we get into that, Drew. Have your fucking victory lap, dude. Monday night football. Have your fucking victory lap. Drew: Kenneth Walker, my man, Amanda: dude. Drew: all off season. I'm telling everybody, Kenneth Walker just needs I've been saying for years, Kenneth Walker just needs to be released. He just needs to be unleashed on the world. And he did exactly what I thought he was gonna do, which is get a ton of touches and be incredible. He looked amazing. Amanda: He ran through that defense. I mean, it was just so fun to watch him breaking tackles and making moves. And Andy Reid really just said, like, just keep giving the ball, give him ball, give him all, give him the ball. I was like, Yeah, give him the ball, baby. Drew: Yeah, it's exactly what I thought they were gonna do, which is they're gonna run the football a lot this Amanda: Yeah. Drew: year. They're I mean, look, the Chiefs the entire Chiefs team looked good, but their offense was one player for the most part. Well, two. Amanda: for sure. Drew: Patrick Mahomes used his legs. He showed you that his knee is fine. Yeah, Amanda: He's good. Drew: and that's really good for fantasy. So, you know, he's definitely rising up my ranks, Patty is because he's doing what he's been doing the last couple years. which has kept him fantasy relevant when the passing attack has been so atrocious because like let's be honest I don't think they got any good receivers. I'm not sure Rasheed Rice is good anymore. He did not look good. And outside of one play where the Broncos just forgot how to tackle, he scored. But it was only because the Broncos missed two or three tackles on that play and like it wasn't forced missed tackles. It was they just didn't wrap him up or even attempt to So, like Rasheed Rice got you guys got lucky if you started him because that touchdown saved your asses. Xavier Amanda: yeah. Drew: Worthy didn't look special. I mean, the do you know the most air yards of any completion that the Chiefs had? Six yards, six air yards. Amanda: No. I mean it had to it couldn't be very many. Six yards. Was that to Kenneth Walker or was that the touchdown to Rishi Rice? Drew: That was the long play to Travis Kelsey that he caught six yards downfield and then ran Amanda: to Travis Kelsey. Six yards. Drew: fifty yards. So, like, yes, he had they had completions that were longer, but not air yards, meaning that the ball only traveled Amanda: Crazy. Drew: in the air six yards before it was caught on any play that entire game from the Chiefs. So Amanda: You would imagine they have to get some type of passing game going or else the Drew: I w again, you're playing the Broncos defense. So, like, you're playing Amanda: Yeah. Drew: a really good defense who just decided not to tackle that night. but I I don't know. They didn't have very many last year either. Like their their passing attack has been bad since Tyreek Hill left, so I think they need somebody. I don't think they have the people on their roster. I'm hoping that. they can get a little bit of that going to keep Kenneth Walker. I mean, if I'm any other team, I'm stacking the box with eight players and yeah, making the receivers beat me. But my goodness. Bo looked so bad. Amanda: you're scheming against Kenneth Walker, correct? And absolutely. Speaking of bad receiving games, Bobo. Bobo Nicks. You know what it felt like though? It felt like a humiliation ritual for Bo Nicks where the guy playing, well, how long until you know Sean Payton play calls plays again? Because like Drew: Right. Amanda: it felt like they were literally like, you did this, Bo. Keep passing until you figure it the fuck out. Like they did not use their run game anywhere. At all. They just made Bo Nick. Drew: eight carries from J Yeah. Amanda: Yes, they just made Bo Nicks go out there and like attempt to get his shit together. I was like, give the guy Drew: Yeah, eight eight Amanda: a minute. Drew: eight carries for JK is not enough. I don't know Amanda: No. Drew: if it was because they got I mean, t be to be fair, I don't know if the play calling was that bad. Like there were some very timely drops in that game that took him off the field. So like Jalen Waddle couldn't catch the ball. I don't know what was going on there, but I saw him drop one real key slant route that would have been a first down that then you you take off the field and they don't get the ball for a while. Like I don't want to overreact to the first week. The Chiefs also have a really good defensive line. They've got Amanda: Good defense. Yeah. Drew: a good defense. I don't wanna overreact to the Broncos, but I'm a little worried about what's going on. Amanda: my I'm holding my breath 'cause like this has been like the tale time of Bo Nick's is like he's been hard to trust and like Drew: yeah. Amanda: now you have Waddle there and we're all excited about that and now you're like, Well shit, do we have a non trustworthy quarterback at this point too? Drew: Yeah, I I'm gonna hold judgment for one more week on them. One more week. Amanda: To me, the the absolute blasphemy of like Waddle only getting three targets in that game, though. And like, how much did Pat Bryan get? Like, why, why were we targeting him so heavily? Not that he did poorly, but like, why did not why we were passing the game? We're passing the whole fucking time. Why weren't we targeting Waddle more often at that point? Scheming something up. Drew: Pat Bryant had six targets. Amanda: Six targets. Like, why did he get I it just it it also doesn't it just Drew: Yeah. Amanda: the whole game didn't make much sense to me. Drew: No, but if for a defensive scheme, if you're trying to take away the wide receiver one being Jalen Waddle, look, again, I don't want to over overact after one week. This week will be more telling i in Jacksonville, so Amanda: All right, well, let's get into today's episode. We are going to do a bunch of stuff. So today we're gonna debut a new segment called Red Flag or Green Flag. we're gonna go over all of the major injuries from around the league, the injuries we saw coming and the ones we didn't see coming. we'll have our weekly for better or for worse prop bet competition. And then we will go through obviously all of the matchups for week number two. And you did hear me correctly, we will be going through all of the week two matchups in this episode. We decided to change our schedule release just a little bit. We're gonna do all of our sit starts every single Thursday. Ahead of Thursday night game. You're gonna know everything you need to know, not only for Thursday, but for every matchup that week. That way you can be prepared to adjust your roster as we see fit. So Drew: Whi with that, with that, that means that all of our updates for injuries and start sits, all that stuff will be based upon our data on Thursday. So pay Amanda: On Thursday, yes, good point. Drew: attention to some injury reports, you know, after you listen to the episode as you get into Saturday and Sunday morning. Make sure that you're paying attention to those reports. And even better yet, join our Patreon, right? Amanda: Absolutely. Yes, that's what we'll release more. You'll see us kind of pop in on social media to give you guys some direction there as well. If any last minute injuries come up kind of like we did with Brock Bowers. but if you want all of the inside information, the Patreon is the best place to join us. That way you can get all of the specific information you need from injuries, sit starts, waiver wires, all of that type of stuff. So make sure you stay up to date with us there as well. All right. That leads us to the Patreon. We had our wedding party question of the day, which comes in from Nicole in the Patreon. And she wants to know, I'm gonna ask this to you, Drew. She wants to know, would you trade Colston Loveland or Dallas Goddard for Christian Watson? Drew: Yeah, this is a we had a lot of questions come in about Colston Loveland because, you know, goose egg week Amanda: The goose egg. Drew: one. Look, don't do not get rid of Colston Loveland for look, I don't want to say for anything. If somebody wants to give you McBride or Bowers for Loveland, yes, I'm gonna take them. Or if you're getting, you know, Amon Ra or J J or you know, obviously, but like that's not gonna happen. So let's be realistic. I would not trade Colston Loveland for Christian Watson. At this point, I I love Christian Watson this year. I'm really high on him. The positional value of a tight end that could be a top three tight end. I mean, Colson Loveland theoretically could be the wide or the tight end one. That positional value is too high. And Christian Watson's not going to finish as the wide receiver one. Not to mention that he's got the injury concerns as well. So like I'm not pulling that trigger. Dallas Goddard for Christian Watson is a little bit. a little bit more of a I don't think you can get that done. So like I don't think that you're getting Christian Watson for Dallas Goddard. If Dallas Goddard is your starting tight end and you don't have anybody else, I don't make this move because I think Dallas Goddard's gonna be really involved this year. If let's say you've got a Jawan Johnson on waivers or on your bench and you can put him in as your starting tight end and trade Dallas Goddard for Christian Watson, then absolutely I would do that. But realistically, I don't think Dallas Goddard gets you Christian Watson straight up. I think you probably have to add something in for him. And unless you've got another good tight end option, I don't think I'm doing that trade because Dallas Goddard, in my opinion, should be a weekly plug-and-play tight end that again, he finished tight end three last year. If he stays healthy, I think he can finish tight end three again. Jalen Hurts is going to look for him. It was confirmed in week one that Dallas Goddard is gonna Amanda: Sure was. Drew: be. a really good option this year. So no, don't move on from Colston Loveland and, you know, I don't know, the Dallas Codder and Watson. If you can do it straight up and you got an option, sure, but Amanda: Yeah, no. I definitely agree. The Colson Loveland freak out train just it it'll all be all right. Drew: It was too much. Yeah. Just they scored fifty nine points. Like look the receivers didn't have a great game either. Like the running backs ran all over Carolina and Caleb Williams ran all over Yeah, and Khalif Raymond got involved. Like, look, just Amanda: It was Caleb Williams and the running back show, yeah. Yeah. Drew: relax. It's week one. So all right. That brings us to our brand new segment. Red flag or green flag. So, Miss Amanda, are you ready? I'm gonna bring up some players' names and then you're gonna let me know. Red flag, I am worried, or green flag, chill out, still a good option. So, first one, Harold Fannon Junior. Amanda: Th that that man is a walking red flag right now. that offense is a walking red flag right now. I am worried, I am concerned. Big time red flag vibes. Drew: Yep, I agree. I agree. and to be fair, I don't think that Fannon is the red flag. Deshaun Watson's the red flag. Amanda: No, no. He it's that. obviously Deshaun Watson and like their commitment to him, obviously, because he did everything he could have possibly done wrong in a week in one singular game. And they said, Week two starter, Deshaun Watson. Like, Drew: Yep. Yep. Amanda: how long will that last? I don't know. Will they ever move on from him? I don't know. Like, it just seems like a a tank a tank for two a moment back when they used to say that when they won a two a. but that's just like it's it's not It's not good. And the targets weren't even there. It's not even like this man was peppered with targets. He had like three targets, which was depressing to witness as well. Coming off of he was one of the highly most highly targeted tight ends last season and like wasn't even getting the fucking looks. Will that maybe change with Sanders if they move to that? Maybe. But like at this point, red flag. Drew: Alrighty, moving on to our next one. Carnell Tate. Red flag or green flag? Amanda: You know what? This is such a hard one. I it's it's somewhere in like the yellow. It's a it's yellow, okay? I'm gonna stay. You know what? I'm gonna say I'm gonna stay green for for right now. Listen, I am I a little worried? Yes. Like a touch worried, right? He's leaving me on read, but he is still responding just a little later than I'd like him to, okay? but I mean Cam Ward's the conversation here. It's not is Carnate Carnot Tate the problem. It's you know is Cam Ward a competent enough quarterback to get him the ball. I'm not moving on just yet. He's not a full-blown red flag for me. I am still gonna call him green flag for now. and I'm still confident in playing him. I wanna see a little bit more. Cam Ward did heat up as the season went on last year. Maybe he just needs a couple minutes. Just give him minute. Give him a minute. Let the offense get used to it. Drew: Yeah, r remember, he's a he's a rookie wide receiver. Traditionally, Amanda: Yeah. Drew: rookie wide receivers, even first round talents, take about half a season to get started and really going. It's a whole different ballgame plan in the NFL. Outside of like, we just had this rash of a couple years where we had these rookies, you know, Jamar Chase, Justin Jefferson, like even well, Justin Jefferson even took a little bit of time, but like we just Malik neighbors. We had guys that just came on the scene and like made an immediate impact. That's not the norm. It's more normal for them to take half a season to get going. So I agree there. All right. Wanna do one more here. Jordan Addison. Red flag Amanda: Yeah, he's full. Drew: or green flag? Amanda: yeah. Like I don't even need time to think about this. Green fucking flag. Green flag. I'm not worried. I actually in one of my leagues just saw someone drop Jordan Addison and picked someone else up with a waiver wire. And I was like, the fuck we doing. This is a wide Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: receiver too on a on an offensively competent team with a really good head coach. They had a very last minute quarter. They couldn't even prepare for the the listed as third string Carson Wentz on that team. They didn't even prepare him. It's not like what was the Falcons had times to prepare for you know for a Cooper Rush to come in, Drew: Cooper Rush. Yeah. Amanda: he at least could take some reps. Carson Wentz was like, go buddy, go, go in. and and it it's fine. I I'm not worried about it. They're gonna get things figured out. And if Kyler Murray, whenever he does end up coming back, I'm not worried about Jordan Addison. I would hold on to him. Drew: Sure. Absolutely. All right. Well, that was our segment. Red flag or green flag. Hope you guys enjoyed it. we are going to run into our injuries and news from around the league and buckle up. It is an unfortunately long list this week of fantasy relevant players. first one being AJ Brown. Obviously, we've discussed it at length already. he is out, he was placed on the IR. The most updated information is they expect six weeks for him to be out. So Mac Collins, Demario Douglas, maybe Kyle Williams gets involved, Romeo Dubbs. We'll we'll go over their game plan this week when we get to the matchups, but it is probably gonna be a lot of spread the ball around to a lot of different targets and gonna be really difficult to play any of those receivers. Because I don't think that any of them are going to take over a consolidated target share. so I'm probably staying away from most New England receivers, except for maybe a random spot start. Brock Bowers, obviously he went out before week one. He everything all the all the reports indicate that he's recovering very well from the meniscus trim, like a little haircut, just a little tiny little trim on the meniscus. It's still up in the air if he plays this week. He did not practice on Wednesday. That's a pretty good indicator that you're not gonna play on Sunday. but he is still listed as questionable. So if he plays, you play him. If he doesn't, you might have a good option in Michael Mayer. Zay Flowers, hamstring injury. left week one before halftime. They did say that or he came out and said that if he if it was a playoff game He would have came back in and played, which is great, except that it isn't the playoffs. The playoffs are really far away. And like, are you going back out there to get hurt or are they gonna sit? not seen on at Wednesday's practice. Amanda, what do you think about that Zay Flowers situation? Amanda: Yeah, honestly, I'm kind of in a place where I would hope that they give him a a week, a couple of weeks to rest. Like if if he's on my fantasy team, I'm like, Listen, I can survive without you. I can lose a couple of weeks without you. I don't care. I would rather you not try to come back too soon and screw yourself, screw the team. Like you look so good week one for half of the game. Rest. Give him at least a week off, I in my opinion. Drew: I agree. If he plays, do you play him? Amanda: I do, yes. Drew: And you're not worried. I it's a hamstring, soft tissue. That could easily be a pull up one route first quarter and then you're left with a goose egg or one point. Amanda: I think it's situational. I think it I worry a little bit less. He is a little bit younger. I worry more if this was an older receiver that I'm talking about. Like if if Mike Evans is like, I'm gonna play through my hamstring injury, I'm probably like, dude, you're gonna get hurt on the first route you run. I worry a little bit less if it's A Flowers, but yeah. Drew: One thing to note is this is an injury that he dealt with in camp. So yeah, it's not a new hamstring. It is something that he's been dealing with. So I think I lean on the sit him this week, unless reports come out that he has no lingering effects, which I doubt you'll get. All right, next Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: one. We little lad McConkey. Amanda: lad. Drew: He was absolutely the main guy in that offense until just. Justin Herbert decided that he didn't want Ladd McConkey to be I on this earth anymore because he threw Amanda: Yeah. Drew: him and just got him destroyed. I feel bad. we call that a hospital ball. the Derek Carr special. If you guys remember the old quarterback Derek Carr, he loved throwing Amanda: Right. Drew: hospital balls and getting his receivers hurt. So injury reportedly isn't significant, although they were worried about internal bleeding when he first got hit. considered day-to-day. It is possible to play through it with a flak jacket. It'll just be really tender and sore. So if he plays, you play him. Nico Collins just out of the fucking blue. Amanda: The fuck was that? Like, I didn't Drew: Yeah. Amanda: even we were even talking last night before I'm I'm watching Dancing with the Stars, you know, we're chatting in between commercial breaks. And Drew's Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: like, well yeah, Nico Collins. I'm like, the fuck you talking about, Nico Collins, he good? And he's like, you didn't look at that yet? And I was like, no. And I'm watching Dance with the Stars, damn it. Drew: Yeah, I got an alert on my phone that just yeah, I got an alert on my phone that said Nico Collins having further tests on his hamstring injury to determine the severability or the severity of it. And literally I was like, wait, what? And then I l I clicked on it and the first comment from somebody was, The fuck did you just say? And the second one was, Wait, what hamstring injury? So it it's it's come out since then in the last twelve hours. he tweaked his hamstring in practice yesterday. They have already done the tests. They do not believe it is a severe injury. However, his Sunday week two availability is in question at this point. I'm not sure if he plays this week, so I don't have the full information. Amanda: Yeah, again, rest him, right? Like I'd rather them put his ass on put him in a glass box, come on. Drew: Yeah, so again, monitor that as you go into the weekend. It's really hard not to play Nico if he is playing in the game, if he's available. He's one of your best receivers. Maybe your number one receiver on your team, so you're probably playing him. all right, a few more here. Joe Burrow limited reps on Wednesday's practice. He had some back tightness, something to monitor. However, he did say that he'll play Sunday or he expects to play on Sunday, so maybe just keep an eye Sunday morning if you have him, watch the reports to make sure. Amanda: Drew liter I I asked Drew this morning, I'm like, Are you worried about Joe Burrow's back tightness? And he's like, Nah, you probably just slept wrong Drew: Yeah, I mean he's getting older. You sleep wrong, your back hurts. Amanda: Ha ha. Drew: Jordan Mason thumb injury placed on the IR. Amanda: These guys know what I'm gonna like take a shot on them. I'm like, yeah, Jordan Mason, I'm in. It's gonna be such a good start this week, playing Chicago Bears. And then it Drew: Yep. Yep. Amanda: was like, no, he said with a thumb injury. And like that's one of those things that I'm like, was it that deep? Like, dude, can we just like, you know, just pretend like it's like a s you stove your thumb, you're like, shh, it's fine. Apparently it's broken. Drew: Apparently it's bad enough that it's IR. So yeah, he'll be out for four weeks. So that really sucks because I thought he was Jordan Amanda: You know, my Aaron Jones pickup ain't looking too bad anymore. Drew: Jordan Mason just cannot stay healthy. And he looked really good last week. But Amanda: He did Drew: guess who's getting fired up this week? Aaron Jones. If you got him, put him in your lineup. It should be a great matchup, and he should get a ton of work. They did pick up DJ Dallas to be the backup, longtime backup for the Seahawks. I think he might have been somewhere else last year. Capable backup, but not somebody that's going to take a bunch of work from the starter. all right, Kyler Murray, concussion, limited Wednesday, still progressing through concussion protocol. No idea if he'll play or not. I honestly don't care if it's him or Carson Wentz. I'm not gonna play either one of them. However, it doesn't really impact who I'm playing with the rest of the team. I see them as as equals for the receivers, so not worried about that. Sam Darnold, expected to be out for week two. fire up Drew Locke, he's gonna be playing for them. Not don't put him in your lineups, that'd be ridiculous. But yeah, no, that would be ridiculous. But Amanda: I was like, wait, don't put him in your lineup. but Drew Locke did show us that he can lock it down and and I'll make Drew Locke jokes the entire season while he's here. But Drew Lock can lock that shit down and he can throw a competent ball J JSN is just just fine with Mr. Drew Lock. Drew: Yeah, it doesn't impact JSN. It it just impacts the secondary receivers. It just means that I won't start anybody but JSN until Sam Darnold's back. Tua and Michael Penix. We had the Cooper Rush experience last week, which was terrible. Tua Amanda: Not fun. Drew: still not practicing with the oblique injury. However, Michael Penix Jr. did practice on Wednesday. He is working his way back and it is a possibility that he plays on Sunday. We'll talk about that a little bit more during the matchup. I believe that does make an impact on who you can play and who you cannot play this week. Amanda: Yeah. Drew: Trevion Henderson, he is trending up, looking like he may be able to play in week two. So that's good news there. Amanda: Yay. Drew: Jalen Coker, wide receiver one from week one, was in a walking boot after the game for inexplicable reasons that no one has explained. Amanda: He twisted his ankle. Drew: No idea what's going on there. Yeah, so they said it's precautionary, which a boot is not precautionary. It is cautionary. So it's a boot is yeah, so Amanda: Boots protectin' something. You did something. Drew: I, you know, if it was precautionary, they would put everyone in walking boots at all times so they don't get hurt during Amanda: Yeah. Drew: the week. so I I he's gonna suit up on Sunday unless something happens during the week. He did practice on the side on Wednesday. I expect him to go. last couple ones here. Dylan Sampson, backup running back for the Browns, placed on IR. Drop him if you have him. Isaiah Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: Pacheco, back surgery. he'll be out at least 10 weeks, probably the entire season. Probably wasn't rostered. If he is, drop him. Jacoby Lane, wide receiver for the Ravens, underwent a ton of tests. All the doctors that he went to said, Yep, your wrist is broken, which I can't believe you need three doctors to tell you that. He's on IR, he'll be out at least four weeks. Drop him if you have him. Dijon Stribling, expected to miss ten weeks on IR, drop him if you have him. Amanda: The damn rookies really just like fell off a cliff here for us. Yes. Drew: Jacoby Lane and Stribling sucks 'cause I like the the they they were really involved and they looked good to start the game, so Amanda: My big dribbling projection just like went to hell immediately. I was like, great. Okay, okay, cool, cool, cool. All right. Well, let's get into our week two matchups. We're gonna cover every single matchup through the weekend, starting from Thursday all the way to Monday night, and that'll lead us into a very fun Thursday night matchup. We have the Detroit Lions visiting the Buffalo Bills in their brand new stadium. So First time playing Drew: Pumped about it. Amanda: in this Buffalo Stadium. We've got the Bills Mafia, crazy motherfuckers on a Thursday night. It's gonna be a killer game. The betting line right now has Buffalo favored by four and a half, and the over-under is a whopping 54.5 hello, high point scoring game. And I just wanna, Drew: So good. Amanda: I just wanna give myself a little recognition. I said that shit correctly on the first try. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. You're welcome. I pray I literally Drew: You did. Fanta Yep, yep. Congrats. Amanda: practiced with Drew before because I was like, I will not fuck it up again, damn it. All right, this game in my Drew: Yeah, fifth. Amanda: opinion, fifth times a charm, right? Drew: Fifty-four and a half is just such it's just it's just it feels good. It's such a high. Just get you Amanda: so many It's such a good game. Drew: yeah, just get you in your feels, right? Fifty-four and a half, let's go. Please don't disappoint tonight, Buffalo and Detroit. Please just let's see a barn burner. Fifty Amanda: Agreed. Drew: to forty-eight come down to the end. That would be amazing. Amanda: Yeah. And to me, this matchup with the these sit starts are like really, really, really simple. I think you fire up essentially every relevant player from the Lions and from the Bills. You're gonna say, fire them up and throw them in your lineup. So our obvious people here from the Lions side, Jameer Gibbs, Amon Ross St. Brown, Jamison Williams, and Sam Laporto are all starts. I know we have Jared Goff listed as a start here as well. I did have a couple questions. Would you go like Patty Mahomes or Jared Goff? They play the Colts. Drew: path. Amanda: That's like all that same tier you could Yeah. Drew: that's a r really hard one. Amanda: Or I have Purdy versus Miami over golf. Okay. I had I also Drew: I would play Purdy. Yeah, no, I would play Purdy for sure. Patrick and Jared, honestly, that's a toss up. I I probably Amanda: And th I think if you have a stack in Thursday night, you obviously always play your quarterback wide receiver stack situation. Like even if it's Jameson Williams and and golf on playing that, but I I think Drew: Yeah, I I honest I think it's a toss-up and I and I like that point. Like if you have a stack, that should be your tiebreaker if you're if you're Amanda: Absolutely. Drew: deciding between players. So like if you have a Devontae Adams or or I'm not Devontae Adams, sorry. If you have a Almond Raw or Jameson Williams or Sam Laporta and you don't have a Chiefs option, then start Jared Goff so you can go for the stack. If you've got I guess a Rasheed Rice or a Travis Kelsey, then that might make the option a little better. But I'm I'm probably Amanda: You might as well at that point. Drew: going Jared Goff here. Amanda: I agree. Also remember that if you're playing people who have the Thursday night matchup, those players should be going in their positional role. They should go at the top of your, you know, app, whatever you use for fantasy football, not in the flexed positions. Don't screw yourself over by limiting your upside availability later in the week. Drew: Yep. Yeah, don't don't look at the projected points and make that determine where your players are going to be slotted in your lineup. So like if you have a Jamison Williams who is half PPR projected, I don't know, eleven points in your app or, you know, somewhere around there. And then you've got a Puka Nakua who is, you know, obviously gonna be at sixteen, seventeen, eighteen points, whatever he is, Jamison Williams should be your wide receiver this week and then Puka would be your flex play, assuming it's just those two players you're deciding between. You know, you've got other ones. But you do that that way. If Jamison you play him and then all of a sudden Puka is listed as a last second out, you can replace him with a wide receiver, running back, or tight end. So it gives you the flexible options. Get it? Flex, flexible. All right. Amanda: The flexible flexible. Drew: Buffalo Bills, I think this is pretty straightforward. Josh Allen, James Cook, DJ Moore. Dalton Kincaid, fire him up, throw him in your lineup. The only other person would be a Khalil Shakir. he's a low floor op excuse me. A yeah. Yeah, low ceiling, slightly higher floor option. So in deeper leagues, you absolutely can play him. So if you're in 14, 16 team leagues, you fire him up. If you're 12 man or lower, you're probably not gonna play him this week unless you've got some awful matchups that you want to avoid. This is a high over under, so if you want to take a shot at a Shakir touchdown, you can. but we're talking guys, let's see four Amanda: I mean Debo Samuels or Shakir. Drew: Diva Sam ja. Amanda: Yeah. Vele or Shakir. Drew: Vale. Amanda: coker. Drew: Coker. Yeah, Amanda: Okay. Yeah. Drew: these are all guys that are gonna be higher in the target. they're gonna get higher target volume. Khalil Shakir, if everybody's healthy, should be third in targets in this team, with the potential to be fourth. Panthers, Coker's gonna be top two. Vele is second or third. So no, I'm t I'm taking those guys over Shakir this week. Amanda: Absolutely. Pretty easy Thursday night matchup. We'll move on to our next game. We have the Carolina Panthers visiting the Atlanta Falcons. The betting line here is Carolina favored by two and a half. And the overunder, again, pretty high here, 43.5. we'll start with the Carolina Panthers. This is coming off of a really good Bryce Young output. one of the most popular questions I've received on social media inside of the Patreon is Bryce Young? Should I should I be dropping these guys for Bryce Young? Do I play Bryce Young this week? How do you feel about a Bryce Young start this week? No. Agreed. Yes. Yeah. Drew: No, absolutely not. There's better options this week. Also, Atlanta's pass defense is okay. their pass rush is not so good because they got guys suspended and hurt. but yeah, I no. No for Bryce Young. Yeah, all of them. Yeah, I I Baker Amanda: Golf Purdy. How about Baker? Cleveland. Drew: plays Cleveland. Baker for sure. Yeah, I've got Amanda: Yeah, okay. I agree. Drew: Bryce Young is probably like around QB twenty this week in rankings. I don't expect him. I mean, could he have a good week? Yes, but I I like other options better. Amanda: Yeah. We also worry about the Bryce Young catfish. He played a really bad Bears defense. And did we just see the best of the best and not the actual median of what Bryce Young's gonna give us this year? Chuba Hubbard, I say that's a start, seventy-one percent usage in week number one. Until we see more from Jonathan Brooks, that's an easy go. Tet McMillan and Jalen Coker, I do believe both can be fired up this week as well. Drew: Absolutely. I do not play Jonathan Brooks until I see more. He wasn't involved enough, I don't think. Amanda: Correct. No, no, no. The snap count was not high enough for me to do that. moving over to the Falcon side of the football, really the B. John Robinson's a no brainer. the biggest conversation is how does the quarterback situation impact both Drake London and Kyle Pittipitz himself? Drew: Yeah. Bijan obviously autoplay. Kyle Pitts is a sit for me no matter who plays. I need to see Amanda: Same here. Drew: him do anything. Drake London is he's a play if if Penix plays for sure. I don't know how you don't play Drake London, no matter who the quarterback is. Look, you drafted Amanda: Correct. Especially in week two. Drew: you drafted him in the second round. He he's Gotta be in your lineup. Like you week two, you you're not gonna bench him. So it's this is JJ, this is Justin Jefferson from last year, right? You're not gonna bench a player of this caliber in week two or maybe ever. Like it's so hard to draw to to not put him in your lineup. If you are in an eight team league, maybe you've got better options. So like Amanda: yeah. Drew: I I think he's probably at like ranked as somewhere a wide receiver twenty ish this week. So like if for some reason you're in a really small league and you've got other guys, but in most leagues you're playing Drake London no matter what. Amanda: I think in order to bench drink London week two, you have balls of fucking steel that I do not possess. Like I do not possess that. Drew: All right. I do want to bring this up. Someone on our Patreon commented, I believe it was early this morning or late last night, that they dropped Drake London. Do not drop Drake London. Just don't do it. I don't remember if th I think look, Amanda: I'm clutching my pearls currently. Drew: I I do not remember if it was this th there was two that came in this morning and I'm getting them confused. One of them said they were in a six team league, like one, two, three, four, five, six. I can't give you a whole lot of advice on that because that's a ridiculously small league. but no, you should not drop Drake London. He's too good. So but no, that's it. I it's it's Bijan, it's Amanda: Let's Drew: Drake London and you move on. Amanda: let's say Cooper Rush plays. Would you consider playing someone like a Coker Vele ahead of London this week? Drew: I no, I I I couldn't do it. Like I I Amanda: It's Drew: think I think I like them more, but like let's be honest, I couldn't do it. Amanda: I know. Could you in the moment? No, I'm that's why I'm like, I could not have my wide receiver one in, not week two. I'm gonna give it one more week. And if I get burned by that, again, I think contextually, even if you do go O and two for the first two matchups of fantasy football, you're not fucked. Okay. So like you're not out of the playoffs at that point. Like it it's okay to have that happen. It's just Drake Lund has such a high upside. all right, New Orleans Saints visiting the Baltimore Ravens. I also think this could be a really good game. So Betty Line has Baltimore favored by eight and a half. We shall see. And then the over-under is 47.5. So we're talking three big high point scoring matchups, which I love to see. Drew: Well the ki the yeah, the Carolina Atlanta was not a big point matchup. Four f forty three and nah that's not that good. Yeah, I I think you thought it was forty eight. Yeah. Yeah, no. Amanda: was close to the forty three and a half. shit. No, forty three and a half. I'm sorry. I was looking at the fifty four and I saw forty-four. Yeah. I was like, Drew: Four for below forty five's not Amanda: Is Drew: very high. Amanda: mid. Okay. yeah. So this one's this one's a good one. And again, we just saw the Saints come back and give the Lions a whole test to win that game. So Tyler Shuck streaming option this week. Do you feel like he's an option for no? Okay. Other good options. Drew: No. No, not yet. Amanda: Patty, we have I say Jackson Dart would be a good option this week too. Like Drew: Yeah, I y Tyler Shuck, you should have another quarterback that's higher than that. I we've got Shuck somewhere in the, you know, twenty ish range for quarterback this week, late teens to early twenties, so you should have a better option. I'd like to see it again, but also like takeaway overtime and he doesn't have an amazing Amanda: Yes. 400 passing yards makes everyone's eyes sparkle. But again, like, let's give it a minute. It's okay that you might have picked him up off waivers. You're stashing them on your bench right now. I agree. Better options to start in week number two. No brainer starts here though. Jawan Johnson and Chris Olave. Fire both up. Don't question that. well, and Echi and I will say the only thing Drew: And etch in. Yep. Amanda: I've had people ask is like, do I start Jawan Johnson over Colston Loveland? N no, I wouldn't. I would start Colston Loveland over Jawan Johnson personally. But some people are able to snag Juwan Johnson off of waivers or as a free agency pickup. yeah. Drew: Yeah, I play Jawan Johnson over like Jake Ferguson or Harold Fannon or Kyle Amanda: Correct. Correct. Drew: Pitts or Bretton Strange or TJ Hawkinson. Like these are guys that people drafted and played in week one that I would absolutely play Jawan Johnson over. I wouldn't play him over likely Laporta, Loveland, Kraft, McBride, Kincaid. Like I wouldn't play him over those guys. but he's in that he's in that next tier with Goddard. Kittle, Andrews, Johnson, Amanda: Kelsey. Drew: like he's in that next tier of guys that are like pretty much plug and play weekly guys, but you do want to look at the matchup. He's not quite in the weekly just yet. but he's a good it's a good matchup this week. the only player on their team is Devon Vele. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: Do you play him or do you not? So let me ask you, because I'm a little bit higher on Vele than you are. So Vale or BTJ? Amanda: BTJ injury, I go Vele. Drew: Vayle or Jordan Addison? Amanda: I Jordan Addison. Drew: Carnell Tate. Amanda: Vale. Drew: Pittman Jr. Amanda: Bayley. Drew: Matthew Golden. Amanda: who does Greenbait n Drew: They play at the Jets. Okay. So that range is right there in the wide receiver mid thirties. That's kind of that that range right there. So I think he's a decent start this week. Ninety one percent snap share, nine targets. I I I don't think that's going away overnight. All right, Baltimore. Go ahead. Amanda: Are you worried about Alvin Kamara coming back week two and taking anything from Etienne Junior? Not gonna react Drew: I'm worried about it, but I'm not gonna bench Amanda: to it. Okay. Drew: no, I'm not gonna I I've got Etienne, I think he should be a solid running back two this week. So he's still in my lineup. All right. Ravens, Lamar, Derrick Henry, throw him in your lineup. Mark Andrews, I think, is in that, you know, right back end tight end one this week. So I would I would throw him in as well over guys that we mentioned before like Fannon or Ferguson or Amanda: Ferguson. Drew: Pitts or Hawkinson or Strange. Zay Flowers, Rashad Bateman. So we talked about Zay Flowers a little bit. We both hope he sits for a week just to give his hamstring a little bit more time. If he plays, Amanda, you have him in the lineup. Amanda: Yeah, if if if Zay Flowers is out and or if Zay Flowers plays, I play him. If Zay Flowers is out, I needs and I need someone Rashad Bateman, I think, is a fine addition. And I would preference a Rashad Bateman, who there really isn't many other passing options outside of Mark Andrews, over like the popery of the New England Patriots, who we don't know who the ball's gonna go to. I would much prefer to take the safety of like Rashad Bateman should get elevated naturally in that offense. now I'm sure there'll be other dudes that come out of the woodwork, but like That would be far more confident for me if Flowers does need to miss and I need an emergency wide receiver option for the week. Drew: I am on the opposite side. If Zay Flowers plays or if Zay Far fo Zay Flowers plays, you probably play him. I I don't play Bateman no matter what. I've seen it too many times. I Amanda: Fine. Mm-hmm. Drew: think they just end up spreading the ball around to a lot of different guys get two or three catches and you just hope that somebody scores a touchdown. Amanda: Yeah, fair. All right. Minnesota Vikings visiting the Chicago Bears. The betting line has Chicago favored by five and a half, and the overunder listed at forty eight point five. on the Minnesota side of the football, you know, a lot of options have been narrowed down for us because people got hurt. not interested in the quarterback situation there. Obviously, Jordan Mason on IR. Aaron Jones Senior becomes a wonderful start for the week. He does get elevated. I have him somewhere. He gets elevated to my lineup for sure. Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison are both not, I don't think about it question starts. And I include Jordan Addison, Goose Eger, himself. TJ Hawkinson, I believe, is a fine streaming tight end this week if you need to stream somebody. Drew: I think he's a s I think he's a full sit. Amanda: Yeah, I know. You disagree with me on that. I actually don't mind a TJ Hawkinson play this week, but that is just me. nope. True that, true that. It's Drew: Yeah, we don't have to agree on everything. One of us will be right. Probably me. Amanda: never him. All right, Chicago Bears. we have the Caleb Williams, duh, stardom. DeAndre Swift, yeah. Luther Burden, Roma Dunsey, Colson Loveland. I think you can fire all three of them up. Give me your thoughts on a flex option of Kyle Manungay. If you're in that Drew: Yeah. Amanda: like Harvey, Warren Rico chaos, where do you feel like Monungay shifts in there? Drew: Forty three percent snap share, ten carries, two catches. He was productive Amanda: Was very productive when he had the ball in his hand, obviously. Drew: when he had it. If he doesn't have that long run, you're probably not thrilled with the production. Amanda: You're sad. Drew: So I'm gonna say let's see, who did you have at the running back? Amanda: I had like a Harvey. They play Jacksonville. JCM Dallas. Drew: I played J C Amanda: Correct. How about war in Eureka? Yeah. Drew: probably go with Warren or Rico. Probably, but it's a big ass Amanda: How about yeah. Drew: question mark there. Amanda: How about like a Woody Marks? Drew: No, I don't go that far down just yet. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Okay. I would yeah, I I agree. I would I would go Monungai over someone like a Woody Marks. I'd probably even go Manangai potentially over Harvey. but I would play Warren or Rico ahead of Manangai, in my opinion, take the shot on it. And JCM for sure. Drew: Yeah, Harvey was super involved as the only thing. Amanda: Yeah, I I think that involved more in the past game than the run game. And I don't think that will happen again. Drew: I I think Dobbins is gonna be a priority this week, so Amanda: I agree. I think that but it'll shift back the other way. All right. Cincinnati Bengals visiting the Houston Texans. We have the betting line favoring Houston at two and a half and the overunder at forty six point five. I actually I I know Houston's defense is that guy. I really do. But I I this was surprising slightly to me that they're favored. Drew: At home. Amanda: Yeah, that's true. easy starts here. Joe Burrow, Chase Brown, Jamar Chase, T Higgins, talk to me about your feelings on Mr. Sticky Gasicki, Mike Gasicki himself. Drew: Yeah, this is my tight end sleeper of the week, is is Mike Gasicki. I Amanda: Mike is Drew: yeah, I think he's gonna be involved this week. Look, he's not an every week start. I know he had a great week one. He has good weeks since he's been a Bengal, and then he's got a lot of disappearing acts. They Amanda: Yes. Drew: use the tight end position when needed based upon scheme and what the defense takes away. This defense, Houston, very good pass rush, decent against the run, really good corners. They are susceptible to tight ends. That's kind of their one bugaboo, right? I think Gasicki has a fine week this week. So I am firing him up ahead of Fannon and Pitts and Strange and Hawkinson, all those guys that we talked about. I see him again with the Goddard, Kittle, Andrews, Johnson, I see him right in that range this week. So I think he is a good start this week. Amanda: Yeah. all right, from the Houston Texans side, there's no need for you to go down the CJ Stroud rabbit hole. You have an easy start of David Montgomery, obviously Nico Collins injury observation. if there is, let's say they they rule Nico out for the game, is there any wide receivers there you feel like you could toss in a lineup or are you gonna just sit on all of them? Drew: I K Sean Booty becomes an okay flex play. Amanda: All right. All right. I I mean I don't disagree with you. I I worry yeah. Drew: I think he's a good receiver. Amanda: Yeah. I worry about involvement, but and then just passing the ball around to Noel and Hutchinson and all of them. But I like Dalton Schultz if Nico doesn't play. Yeah, I know. You hate me for that. I don't think that's a bad play. Drew: Nope. Nope. I don't like Dalton Schultz. Amanda: Yeah. I i I have Dalton Schultz because I Brock Bowers is on IR, obviously, in one of my leagues. Drew: Yeah, I th I think this team's easy. It's it's David Montgomery and Nico if he plays, Amanda: Yeah. Drew: and that's it. And if Nico doesn't play, you can play Booty. I'm not forcing him in my lineup, but if you need a a guy for an injury Amanda: High upside. Drew: a high upside, I think Booty could be that guy. I don't play Woody Marks just yet, although just keep paying attention. He did get fifty one percent of the snap share. He just Amanda: I was surprised. Drew: he just didn't get as many touches when he was in. as Montgomery got when when Montgomery was in. So Woody was in more just didn't get as many touches. But keep an eye on it. I think he's a good player. Amanda: Yeah. All right. Pittsburgh Steelers and the most boring offense in the world versus the New England Patriots. The betting line has New England favored at five and a half. And the overunder is forty one point five. Drew: Gross. Amanda: all right. So, yeah. DK Metcalf, the Drew: Yeah, let's do Amanda: only yeah, th here's what I hear I I I'll start with like I I feel like you have to play DK Metcalf if you have him, you're probably gonna throw him in your lineup. He did have 10 targets. That is extremely hard to ignore. Everyone knows how I feel about it. I'm not excited. He is a startable guy though. So, like, in my opinion, you're Drew: Yeah, I I Amanda: probably starting him. Drew: Yeah, I thought he was a bounce back. That's what I originally put. And then I just remembered that Christian Gonzalez is on the other side of the field. So if Christian Gonzalez, who might be the best cornerback in the NFL, if he shadows DK, DK's gonna have a really tough game. I don't know I well, Amanda: Overunder on OPI from DK Metcalf. Drew: he can't push Christian Gonzalez is like six foot four. He's a big dude, Amanda: Big dude. Drew: so I don't think he'll be able to push him around. I I don't know that they'll I don't know that they think they need to shadow DK, so I'm not sure if they're going to. I'm playing DK. I'm hoping for a big bounce back week. And I'm willing to be hurt again. Michael Pittman was on the injury report. I'm not playing him. I'm not playing Friarmouth. You're not playing Rogers. Amanda: Nope. Nope. Drew: And I think you can play Amanda: Did you look at the snap count for Rico and Warren? Drew: Yeah, fifty eight percent Rico, thirty seven percent J Lid Warren. Amanda: When you were watching that game, did you think that Rico had more touches than Warren did? No, right? I was like actually had to double check. No, but more involvement. I was just like way more. Drew: No. Well, it wasn't touches. Yeah, it wasn't touches. So that's why. Jalen Warren played 37%, but he had two 10 carries and six targets. Rico had eight carries and five targets. So Jalen Warren in a smaller snap share did touch the ball more. So it's a bit of a David Montgomery Woody Mark situation. Amanda: Yes, yes. Drew: I just don't know what to do with the situation, so I'm probably trying to bench both of them until I get more clarity. Because it was basically fifty fifty from a touches standpoint, like it wasn't that Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: far off. And Rico did nothing with them and Jalen Warren did some with it, but he also fumbled and I don't know. I I'm it's DK Metcalf and no one else, in my opinion. Amanda: Yeah. All right. For the Patriots, we have Drake May. I I have him as a full go start. I I know everyone's worried, but I'm still gonna give him another go. Drew: I don't. Amanda: You don't. Drew: I have him as a depends on if you have a better option this week, not an automatic start. I've ki pit pitch Amanda: You're not saying, like, to be very clear, like we're not dropping Drake May. You're putting him on your back. You're stabbing something else. Okay. They do. Drew: No, no, no, no. Don't don't drop him. It's just Pittsburgh's got a really good defense. So maybe don't play him this week if you've got a better option. Like if you're in an eight man and you've got a better option or a ten man. So like I'm Amanda: I don't even think if you're in like a traditional twelve man, you you might have one of these guys like I wonder if there's like a purdy sitting on a bench somewhere. Drew: So yeah, so here's like obviously like Lamar Allen Dak, all those big guys, right? But like Brock Purdy, if he's available, I'm playing him. If Patrick Mahomes is available, I play Patrick Mahomes. Yep. Yep. Amanda: Patty Mahomes. He's on my waiver wire right now. Yeah. Or on my free agency right now. Yeah. Drew: Yep. I I'd pick him up. Again, I wouldn't pick him up and drop Drake May. I would drop a another player that's you're not gonna play and and keep two quarterbacks for a week. Jared Goff, I play over him. Amanda: Mm-hmm. Drew: Jackson Dart, I play over him. Amanda: Would you ever in any situation go down like the Jacoby Brissett rabbit hole? Okay, me either, but I just figured let's see. Yeah. Okay. Okay. Ramondre and Henderson, Drew: No. No no. Jordan Love Baker Mayfield's probably that that limit where I would stop there. Yep. Amanda: I do believe both of them can be started. If if Henderson plays, I I fire him up in my lineup. If Stevenson plays, I I play him. I don't sit either of them. Yeah. Drew: Ste Stevenson's in for sure. Hendo, if he plays, I think you can play him, but Amanda: I do too. Drew: y I wouldn't force him in my lineup if I've got other options. I don't play any receivers until I see more. I just don't. Amanda: I have one I have one question for you though. Drew: Yep. Amanda: Any of these three receivers, take your pick, Marvin Harrison Junior. Drew: Marv over all three of Yeah. Amanda: Okay, okay. I just wanted to like make your heart hurt making that decision real quick. Drew: No, because look, MacCollins could four for forty if he doesn't score. Demario Amanda: That's all you need. Yeah, I guess. Mm. Drew: Douglas could get seven targets, could have six catches for fifteen yards if they're all short. Romeo Dubbs could have three touchdowns or could drop eight passes. So I just don't I Amanda: All right. Drew: I need to see what it looks like and who takes over what position. I do think Hunter Henry could be played this week. Tough matchup, but they gotta throw the ball somewhere. But again, I'm not forcing him in, so probably not never. Amanda: All right, Green Bay Packers versus the New York Jets. The betting line has Green Bay favorite at three and a half and the over-under at forty four point five. Drew: Marshawn Lloyd, one more chance. I'm willing to be hurt. Amanda: Okay. Okay. Hurt get my hurt hurt my feelings one more time, Marshawn Lloyd. I think you have better options over Jordan Love. Again, we just kind of talked about where we have him in a tier positioning. There's plenty of options above that. Even a patty who's available for most people would be a better streaming start this week. Christian Watson, yes, lock him in. I do believe Matthew Golden's is a great flex shop flex option Drew: Matthew Golden, yes. Yep. Amanda: as well. I'm gonna favor him over guys like a Debo or Vele. I kind of are what did I? I did say golden over Vele. yes, yeah. Drew: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Matthew Golden's a weekly start right now. He's involved. Tuckercraft. Amanda: twelve targets, right? Drew: Yeah, Tuckercraft is in your lineup. Jaden Reed the only yeah, Jaden Reed's the only question mark. I I he's a pot I think Amanda: I have him as a full set. Yeah. Drew: he's a possible flex play. 57% snap share sucks. He's obviously not the wide receiver too. but seven targets. That's that's a good amount of targets. It just didn't connect last week. But I probably don't play him this week, but I keep him on an eye on him and see what his snapshare and targets are. and then from the Jets, it's two guys. It's Brees Hall, it's Garrett Wilson, and let's move on to the next matchup. Amanda: Absolutely. Let's move on to a quick matchup here. Cleveland Browns versus Drew: Yep. Yep. Amanda: the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. We have the betting line. Tampa Bay favorite by eight and a half. And Drew: Uh-huh. Amanda: the over-under, I think, is generous at 41.5. So Drew: Yeah, that's giving the Browns like fifteen implied points. That's ridiculous. Amanda: Yeah. Okay, the only person on the Browns Coinshaw Junkins. Drew: Yep, and he's probably just a flex play at this point. Amanda: Yep. Yep. And I literally put in my notes, this will be uncomfortable. Like it's uncomfortable because you don't even know if their offense can do anything to get him going. Fannin, if you are stuck and you have no other options, you can wait on it one more week. I gave him one more week before I am I we already said red flag. Like Yeah, that's unfortunate. I yeah. Any circumstances. Drew: Yeah, I know I'm not playing Fannon under any circumstances. Amanda: No, I'd rather play fucking Dalton Schultz over Herod Flanan, but you know, let me do as I do. Drew: I did say any circumstance. That's a tough one. No, no, I would play Schultz. I don't play Fannon. I j I can't. Not with Deshaun. Buccaneers. Amanda: Yeah. No. Yeah. I think Baker is a great streaming quarterback option this week. however, like rate him in like the Baker Gough Patty Dart. Drew: He's last out of those. Yep. Amanda: Okay. Okay. I think he's a fine streaming start. Again, I think people are a little nervous because he's a little reckless. It's Baker. He is a little reckless, but he's also fired up motherfucker. He's playing the Browns, Drew: I I'm Amanda: old team. Drew: yeah, I'm a little I'm I'm more worried about him throwing for two twenty and two and having a good week, but that's not a crazy good week because Bucky could also go for a buck fifty and three. So I just Amanda: Bucky looks good. Drew: yeah, I I'm more worried about him not throwing three or four touchdowns because they they don't need him to. Yeah. So Bucky's in. Amanda: They don't have to. Yeah. Bucky's an auto start. I don't think I've Kenny Gainwell did not have enough usage yet. So he's a sit. start Drew: Nope. Yep. Amanda: Emeka. Start Chris Godwin. I like both of them. Drew: Sounds good. Amanda: And Kate Otten's irrelevant. All right. Philadelphia Eagles versus the Tennessee Titans. Philadelphia is favored by seven. And the over Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: under is 39 and a half. That sounds more appropriate for for the Browns. stat line in my opinion. the over under 39 and a half. And so from the Philadelphia Eagles side of the football, I think we're clear here. Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, and Devontae Smith can all be Drew: And Dallas Goddard. Amanda: yes, and Alice Goddard are no questions. Flex option, Dontavian Wicks, probably a heavy white waiver wire pickup. Give me kind of thoughts on where you have him valued at. Drew: I I'm I'm a sit on him for another week and see what his involvement is instead of playing him. He had ninety one percent snap share. So assuming that that stays up in the eighty percent plus, that's great news moving forward. He did only have four targets, two catches, seventy three yards, and a touchdown. If he did not have the one big touchdown, Amanda: The touchdown. Mm-hmm. Drew: it was gonna be an awful week and nobody would be talking about him. The reason that he was on our waivers and we liked we liked the ninety-one percent snap share. So keep an eye on him, but it I'm not putting him in a lineup just yet, unless I need an absolute boomer bust play because I'm projected to lose by twenty points and I've got injuries. Then I'll put him in if I like really need to make up a a projected difference, but not if it that that very specific instance, n nothing outside of that. And Tennessee, I'm gonna make this real Amanda: Phew. Drew: easy. I'm benching everybody. I don't play a single Tennessee Titan this week. Not one. Yep. Amanda: Yeah, it's a really, really bad matchup. And e that even goes to like we've talked about Colonel Tate. Like I'm not ready to like be out on him, but I'm not trying to play him this week. Drew: Yeah, no, I don't play anybody. Like, don't drop Carnell Tate. Don't drop Wandell. Don't drop Tony Pollard just yet. if you're in an eight team league, then Tony Pollard could probably be LECO. But like look, Carnell Tate shouldn't be dropped yet. just don't play anybody. Eagles defense is too good. Amanda: Okay, okay. All right. Next up we have Jacksonville Jaguars versus the Denver Broncos. The Betty Line has Denver favored at two and a half, and the over-under is 45.5. I will be clear. This would be a game that I like to call an upset on. I think the Jacksonville Jaguars will handle business in Denver with a really hard Denver defense. I'm not worried about it. Drew: That sounds like a bet r I'm taking Denver. Amanda: I'm taking Jacksonville for sure. Yeah. Like I'm gonna full send on Drew: Dishes dishes for a week. Amanda: I'm sorry. Let me be so disrespectful for a second. I do them already anyways. And like I don't trust that you'll do them at the capacity in which I need them to be completed. Clean sink every night before bed. I cannot I will not wake up to a dirty sink. Drew: Yeah, I'm saying yeah, no no no. I'll do them I'll do the dishes for a week if Jacksonville wins. Yes, if if Jacksonville wins, if Denver wins. Amanda: So to be clear, I have absolutely nothing to lose here because I already do them anyways. I only have gain. Drew: No no no no. There's there's something else. If d no, if Denver wins, what do I get in replacement since dishes aren't my thing anyway? I can't have you mow the grass, cause like no, absolutely Amanda: G I was gonna say, give me three hours on the mower, I guess. Send me a Drew: not. There no, I don't want zigzags Amanda: Peace, Drew: through my lawn. Amanda: quiet, outside time. I don't know. Drew: Barbe my the the barbecue pork chops. Amanda: I was gonna say that stupid shit on a shingle you've been asking for that I don't wanna make because I don't wanna eat that. That's fine. Drew: No, bar barbecue pork chops. You gotta make the barbecue the firehouse ones that I like. Amanda: I can do that. Okay. all right, T Law. I'm starting him. Are you worried about that? Okay. Drew: Yep. Worried about the match wor no, I'm worried about the matchup, but I at this point you just kinda have to trust it. Amanda: Yeah. Byschaltin, I it's a good start this week as well. I'd have not seen enough usage from some Chris Rodriguez, so he's a sit. Parker, again, hard defense. I'm still starting him. Jacoby and Brian Thomas, they're both on the injury airport right now. So just watch it. Yeah. It's just some Drew: That's it. Nope. I Parker's the only receiver that I play this week. Amanda: You don't think see, like in the back of my mind, I do believe that either Myers or BTJ are going to have a good week, but we just don't know which one it's gonna be. Drew: Could yeah, I don't play like I said, I do not play Jacoby and I don't play BG J this week. Amanda: How about Bretton Strange? Drew: Nope. Amanda: Okay. Drew: Nope. I play Parker Washington as the only receiving option. again, you're playing a really good Denver defense who is gonna be pissed after this week's absolute terrible game. Amanda: speeding. Drew: Yeah, I look, Trevor Lawrence might have a good game, but I think it would be spreading the ball around and using his legs. Parker Washington's the only receiver I trust this week. Amanda: All right. Over to the Denver side of the ball, we have Bonix. I think there's plenty of other options you could stream instead of Bonex this week. Drew: Set yep. Amanda: Yeah. J.K. Dobbins, he'd be a start for me. I know week one was Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: a mess. They did not trust the running game at all, but I do believe that'll be a bounce back like Dredd mentioned. Harvey, if you're desperate, I don't think it's a terrible option. He was obviously involved. So, like if you need a flex option or another running back and you're really desperate in the running back room. He kind of lives in that monongay world where like how much will he get? Will he end up scoring a touchdown? Will he be relevant enough and get a big play? Drew: I play Monongay, Amanda: over Harvey. Drew: Marshawn Lloyd, Jalen Warren, Jaquire Kraski Merritt. I play all of them over Harvey. I Amanda: I agree with all of you. Yeah. Drew: play Dobbins over all of them. I think Dobbins, I think they're gonna make it a point to get him the ball this week. Amanda: I do agree with you there. Wide receiver room, the only guy I'm starting is Jalen Waddle. The rest I'm sitting down. Drew: I play Sutton as well. Amanda: Do you? Drew: Mm-hmm. A it flex play, right? Like I'm not playing Amanda: Yeah. Drew: him over where am I at here? thirty foot Amanda: I mean Coker, Vale, Sutton. Drew: Coker and Vele over Sutton. Yeah. Play Gol I play Golden over Sutton, but like but I play Sutton over Amanda: Versus Atlanta. Okay, I agree. Okay. 'Cause like I in my opinion Golden over Sutton, you wouldn't go Drew: Marv Pittman, Romeo Dobbs, Khalil Shakir, Carnell Tate. Amanda: You wouldn't go down like the Datavian Wicks over Sutton situation after one good week. You'd wait. Okay. Okay. Drew: No. No, no, no, no, no. Josh Josh Josh Downs, Addison, Reed. I play all those guys below Cortland Sutton this week. Amanda: Below Courtland Saturn. Drew: Mm-hmm. Yeah, I think Cortland Sutton could have a good week. Pat Bryant, keep an eye on Pat Bryant. Don't play him yet, but he's involved. Amanda: Okay. Okay. agreed. I put a note. Eyes on. Eyes on the scene. Eyes on the scene. all right. Anyone else there from the Denver Broncos side of the football? All right, rock on. The Las Vegas Raiders versus visiting the Los Angeles Chargers after a fairly large upset. Betty Line, Chargers favored at six and a half and over under forty three point five. only players from the Vegas side of the football here, obviously Ashton Genty fire that up. I don't think there's any wide receivers worth mentioning. Brock Bowers if he plays and if he doesn't, Michael Mayer is a fine start option to stream this week instead. Drew: Yep, agreed. Amanda: Cool. How about the Chargers? Drew: Justin Herbert, you play him this week. I think it's a good play. Hampton, he's in your lineup. You should play him. Lad McConkey, if he plays, you can play him. Quentin Johnston, I think he's a good play regardless. If Lad's out, he's an absolute hammer play. but he's a hammer play in basically all leagues, if you know, ten and above eighteen is a little different. But I think Quentin Johnson's a great play this week. Amanda: How about Quentin Johnston or Sutton? If even if Vlad plays. Drew: Quentin Johnston. Quentin Johnston. Amanda: Okay. all right, let's move on to our next matchup. Seattle Seahawks versus the Arizona Cardinals. Betting line has Seattle favorite at four and a half. And the overunder, Drew: Arizona. Amanda: Arizona. And the overunder is 41.5. So Seattle. yeah, JSN obviously Drew: Two players, easy. Amanda: lock it in and Jadarian Price are my two players that you're locking in. Obviously, hope to God. Drew: Yep. And hope to God that Jadarian Price gets more than forty eight percent snapshare and twelve touches. Amanda: That's what I say. You are like saying Drew: I'm hoping that Seattle looks at what Kenneth Walker just did and go, What if we don't restrict our running backs? But then they're Amanda: You it Drew: gonna be like, no, but we won a Super Bowl last year by doing it, stupid fucking idiots. Amanda: They're not raw and like you're still so early. Like Kenneth Walker did have a great week. We knew he could do that though. Is he gonna stay healthy? Drew: I hate that they're n I hate that they won the Super Bowl because now they're just gonna keep doing the same stupid annoying shit. Amanda: Stupid annoying shit. All right, Mr. Jacoby Brissett. He's a sit, but I do have my eye on him. I if he could be continues to be productive, he could be at some point slip into a, you know, playing a shitty defense streaming option in the future. Obviously, the players on this team aren't irrelevant at this point. So Jeremiah Love, I do believe he's a start. Hopefully usage continues to go up. He was coming off an injury, so they did hold him back a little bit there. and then Drew: McBride. McBride's in. Amanda: Mike Bri McBride. MacBride. Drew: Mac Brad. Amanda: yes, Mick McBride. How about wide receivers. I have targets here because what the hell? Like Michael Wilson was seven, so five receptions, seven targets. Kendrick Bourne, eight for eight. Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: Marvin Harrison, one for three. Yeah. Yeah. Uh-huh. Yeah. Drew: Yeah, on three targets. One for thirty-three. I Michael Wilson's a start, and I am sitting Marv and Kendrick until I see more. I think either one I think any of them Amanda: I have my eye on Mr. Bourne though. Drew: can have a good game. I think Michael Wilson's the only one that is guaranteed to have a floor. I think no matter what, Michael Wilson will see six plus targets. So he has a floor, so he's in my lineup, and he has the ability to go off for more. So he's in. Amanda: We saw it last year when Jacoby you know, obviously Marv's out and him and Jacoby formed a great relationship. Marv came back, Michael Wilson was still relevant. And we obviously see that him and Jacoby connect so well. So he's a no brainer. Drew: Yep. Algier is a a sit this week unless you absolutely need a fill in for an injured guy, but you probably don't because there's not a ton of injured running backs at this point. Algier should be on a lineup and monitor. He had seventeen carries last week. Just if he's continuing to play that much, against weaker run defenses, he will be a play later in the year. Amanda: Absolutely. All right. Washington Commanders visiting the Dallas Cowboys. We have Dallas favorite at three and a half. And the overunder is fifty point five. Jaden Daniels Drew: Delicious. Amanda: fire it up. He gets thrown in. JCM, I think, is a great start here as well. Ter scary Terry, you're starting him, but like you do want to see targets and receptions go up because there were, you know, Stefan Diggs, nine four four receptions, nine targets, and Antonio Williams, four for four. Drew: Diggs will continue to be peppered with targets because that's just he always does no matter where he's at and now that he's in the slot full time, it just makes it easier. Just don't worry about Terry week one. I throw it out the window. I need to see that happen more than once before I'm out on him. So Terry's Amanda: Yeah. Yeah. Drew: in the lineup, Diggs is in the lineup, Krosky Merritt, Daniels, move on. Amanda: Yep. but Dallas Cowboys, pretty easy. Dak, Javante, CeeDee, Pickens, Jake Ferguson. Drew: Yep. Amanda: I think you can throw them all in this week. Drew: I think you can play them all. However, I personally am out on Jake Ferguson because CeeDee and George are both there. He just doesn't have Amanda: Yeah. I get it. I get it. Drew: success when both of them are there. When he's the third option, he just doesn't get the ball enough. And when you've got two outspoken receivers and Lamb and Pickens, they are forced to give them targets. So I am out on Ferguson over. Like I'm playing Andrews and Kittle and Goddard and Likely, Laporta. I'm playing all those guys. I'm even playing a Michael Mayer if Brock Bowers is out. And I'm playing Amanda: Britain Strange. Drew: and I'm playing Gasicki over Ferguson this week as well. Amanda: Okay, how about like a Bretton Strange? Drew: probably not against Denver. Amanda: Okay. All right, next matchup. We have the Miami Dolphins versus the San Francisco forty Niners. Our betting line favors San Francisco at thirteen point five. I'll say that again. Thirteen point five. And the overunder is forty five point five. which I think is generous. So yeah. Drew: Devon A Chan and move move on and just don't watch the game and hope that A Chan gets in the end zone because it's not gonna look pretty. So that's an easy one. And San Francisco, play all, baby. Amanda: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. huh. Play them all about. Drew: Brock Purdy should be started in every single league this week. He is a great play. And and j I'm gonna PSA for everybody. If you play Brock Purdy, do not get upset when he throws an interception. He it's the Brock Purdy pick, right? I've said it for two years with Amanda. He's been on my dynasty team. He will Amanda: Party pick. Drew: throw an interception every game. He'll throw one, but he probably still throw three or four touchdowns. So, like if he throws an interception on the first drive, don't be pissed about it. That's his one. He's good. It's good. I don't even care. It's the Brock Purdy pick. Amanda: He's gotta get it out of his system. Drew: So, Purdy, CMC, Evans, Debo, Kittle, all of them are in lineups. Kalon Black. Possible flex play this week if you've got injuries, but I'm not forcing him in a lineup. The reason I think this week could be good is they should be up by a lot. CMC shouldn't be used more than he was last week. If they're up by twenty-one points, they're not gonna run CMC into the ground. They're gonna give Kalon Amanda: So you'd play Drew: Black. Amanda: Kalon Black over like Tony Pollard, Kenneth Gainwell. Cool. Drew: Yes, for sure. Amanda: Tyler Gier. Drew: yeah, Kalen Black over the over him for Amanda: Yeah. Drew: sure. Amanda: Agree. Okay, cool. Indianapolis Colts versus the Kansas City Chiefs. They have Kansas City favorite at six and a half. And the overunder is forty six point five. Obviously the Chiefs get to play at home this week. pretty easy. Drew: and last week, they just always get to start the season at home and they they did play in in Kansas City, right? Yeah. Amanda: Yeah. Did they? they did. Yeah. This is Denver's first time back at home. God. Two back to back home games. Lucky bitches. Drew: Yeah, it's they always get lucky. Mm-hmm. Amanda: All right. we have Jonathan Taylor, easy auto start. Tyler Warren, easy auto start. Kansas City defense is good. So Josh Downs, Alec Pierce. You are looking to potentially get them on your bench and play people ahead of them this week. Drew: If Alec Pierce is a full go, I play him. Amanda: I play I I agree. Alec Pierce would become ahead of Josh Downs for me. and again guys like Drew: I play Alec Pierce over Cortland Sutton and I have Amanda: Quentin Johnston? Drew: him relative what'd you say? Amanda: Quentin Johnston? Drew: I have Quentin Johnston ahead if Ladd's out. If Ladd plays, Amanda: Correct. Okay. If lad's in. Drew: I play Alec Pierce. Amanda: Okay. All right. How about Addison? Would you play Addison over Pierce or Pierce over Addison? Alec Pierce over them. Okay. Drew: Alec Pierce. No, Alec Pierce. Amanda: All right. I like it. into Kansas City. Patty Mahomes, great streaming option this week. I think he should be started for a lot of people. Kenneth Walker, duh. My note literally says duh. I do believe, like, how do you feel about? I'm not gonna say starting, but like, Rostering if you are the Kenneth Walker manager, are you rostering Emmett Johnson, just in case? Drew: Yeah, I think it's a good he he now with how he played is in the category of a Kalon Black or a Tank Bigsby. A guy that he's a flex with maybe some benefits. not a flex, I'm sorry, a sta a a handcuff with benefits. So like he's a guy that Yeah. He Amanda: You know what, I liked flex with benefits though, it was funnier. Drew: he's a he's a guy that could absolutely fill in f and get all the work if their running back, if their starter gets hurt. So I think he's now officially in that one. And I think he's also a guy that maybe could become a flex play on a good matchup week. he just needs to get enough touches. Amanda: Yeah. all right, wide receiver room for Kansas City. I I think you're starting Rasheed Rice. It's just too early Drew: You play Rashi Rice. Yep. Amanda: to decide that. But like everyone is a little hold your breath moment. I think you have better options over Xavier Worthy, but I think there's plenty of yeah. No other Drew: Yeah, I think it's Rasheed Rice and no other receiver this week. Amanda: series. How about Kelsey? Drew: And I think you can play Kelsey, yes. Amanda: Agree. Yeah. I mean, he did still see five targets, so it's not like that's not happening. and I think that's good play for the week. All right. Next up, New York Giants versus the Los Angeles Rams. We have the Rams favored at seven and a half, and the over-under is coming in at forty-eight point five. Drew: Should be a good Monday night matchup. Amanda: I agree. I agree. This should be fun. Obviously, it'll be exciting to see the Rams come back and play in the States, and not in Australia. So we have Jackson Dart is a good streaming quarterback option if you're looking for someone again. I probably would lean a purdy or a patty ahead of Jackson Dart, but if you don't have those options and this is better than maybe a quarterback with a bad matchup like Bo Nicks, someone I'm looking to sit down, I might elevate Jackson Dart in his place. Cam Scattaboo, yep, go ahead and fire that guy. And same thing with Malik Neighbors and Isaiah Likely, all auto starts. Drew: Yeah, absolutely. Isaiah Likely is a weekly start until proven otherwise. I Amanda: Mm. Drew: don't think he is going to be I don't think what has happened in the past is going to happen this year anymore. Amanda: Where he disappears, yeah. Drew: Yeah, where he comes out of nowhere, scores two touchdowns, and then goose eggs for two weeks. I don't think that's gonna happen. He's integral to this offense. I don't think he was integral in Baltimore. He is also the dude at tight end and he's the number two target here. He was never that in Baltimore. so I'm I'm definitely in on him. Malachi Fields, not a play this week, but he's a guy to keep your eye on. 72% snap share, four targets, two for twenty-five. Pretty good debut as a rookie. just keep an eye on him. He's gonna be on the field a lot because he's a big body that blocks very well. Just if he starts to get four to six targets every week, playing eighty percent, if he starts making some plays as the season moves on and his his target share can go up a little bit. He's a guy that I'm considering later in the year, but just keep an eye on him. and then the Rams, what'd you say? Amanda: You know what my favorite thing is, is when an announcer calls a running back a big back, he's like, He's a big back and it just makes me freaking giggle every time 'cause I just feel like they're calling him a big back. It's hilarious. All right, go ahead to the Rams. Drew: the Rams. Yeah, the Rams. Puka, Devontae, Kyron, and Corum, I think are all good starts this week. Matt Stafford is a decent streaming quarterback this week. Jared Goff or Matt Stafford? Amanda: Jared Goff. Drew: Same. Patrick Mahomes. Amanda: Patrick Robbs. Drew: Same. Jackson Dart. Amanda: Jackson Dart. I like the running upside. Drew: Okay. Drake May. Amanda: Yeah, I'd play Drake May. Drew: Yep. Baker Mayfield, Jordan Love. Amanda: Matt Stafford. Drew: Yep. Yep. That's about where I've got Amanda: Mm-hmm. Yep. all right. Well, that's all our matchups for the week. Drew: Whew. Got through all of Amanda: We got through all, baby. all right, well, run us down our for better or for worse bets from last week. Drew: Yes, absolutely. So for better or worse, we started this segment last week. we're gonna do it every week and keep a a running score. So just as a reminder, or for anyone new, these are prop bets. So bets on players to do more or less than what their their Vegas line is. So each week we're gonna do three of Last week I had I went two and one. I had Brock Purdy over one and a half passing touchdowns. He finished with three, so I got that one. I had Jamison Williams over three and a half receptions. He had four, so I got that one by the skin of my teeth. Amanda: Should've had like eight, but he had four. Okay. Drew: And I had Matt Stafford over one and a half passing touchdowns and of course he goose egged, so I lost that one. Amanda, last week, what did you have? Amanda: I had Wando Robinson 50 plus receiving yards. He had 38. Okay, we were close. I had Isaiah Likely, four plus receptions, he had eight. And then Drew: Mm-hmm. Amanda: Tyler Shuck. I I was dark and dismal there for a while. Two plus passing touchdowns. He had three, my boy. So I also won two out of two out of three. Drew: Yep, so you went two and one as well. So we are tied going into week two. all right. This week, why don't you give me your Yeah, why Amanda: I'm gonna get roasted this week. Drew: don't you give me your first one this week? Amanda: Alright, I have Devon H and 60 plus rushing yards. Full cent, baby. Listen, I'm speaking good Drew: I cannot wait till that doesn't happen. I am gonna Amanda: vibes to the fantasy football gods, and yeah. What I put out into the universe comes back to me, damn it! Drew: Nothing could have went Nothing could have went better week one than Kenneth Walker, who was my guy all offseason having the week that he did, and then Devon HN, Amanda: Devon. Drew: who I bodied all offseason, have the week that he did, and Miami Dolphins looking terrible. So love it. Amanda: Devon, listen. There's there's seventeen games. Seventeen games. Devon, we can have a chat if you need to. I got your back. I'm behind you. Get behind me. We got this. We're good. We're good. Drew: I think maybe week three he just fakes an injury. I just save your career and don't get beat up behind this terrible team. But anyway, okay. So you had H and sixty plus rushing yards. My first one is I have Cam Ward under one hundred and eighty nine and a half passing yards. So I think against Philadelphia he is not going to have a good game and he will go under. So what is your second? Amanda: I have C D Lamb eighty plus receiving yards. Drew: Okay, I like that one. Derrick Henry over eighty seven and a half rushing yards this week. Amanda: It's a great one. Drew: That is my second one. Amanda: I was jealous of that one. And then I have Mac Collins four plus receptions. Drew: And I have Mike Gasicki over two and a half receptions. So let's see that is for better or for worse. Tied up right now. Let's see what it is after week two. Amanda: After week two. All right, guys.
