Mark Hill: From Bonhams Porter to TV Antiques Expert
Antiques expert and TV favourite Mark Hill joins Harry and Simon on The Gavel & The Gabble. He traces his path from Bonhams porter to Sotheby's, the launch of eBay Live Auctions and his TV work on The BBC's Antiques Roadshow and Antiques Road Trip. They also cover the rise of studio ceramics, AI's limits with antiques, his "fifth D" for house clearances, his Substack, and his quirky buys, from Zulu earlobe stretchers to his dream Dunhill Namiki pen.
