- 1:17Speaker 1: is Adam If it makes sense, Yeah, it makes sense.
- 1:20Speaker 1: So what's up? Man? I honestly, I ain't gonna lie
- 1:23Speaker 1: to you. I'm trying to like pride myself on being
- 1:25Speaker 1: like super hip to a lot of shit going on
- 1:26Speaker 1: in like music. But you know, every once in a
- 1:29Speaker 1: while you just be missing ship and I kind of
- 1:31Speaker 1: like missed your whole ship.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what's up.
- 1:34Speaker 1: So I got put on you by the Hungirl Monica
- 1:36Speaker 1: and I was like.
- 1:37Speaker 2: Shout out Monica.
- 1:39Speaker 1: But then I saw you do the arrest me Daddy thing,
- 1:40Speaker 1: and I was like, I think I've seen this day. Yeah,
- 1:43Speaker 1: where did this arrest me Daddy start? So?
- 1:46Speaker 3: I was in New York and I saw a police
- 1:48Speaker 3: officer and he had like his hand on his gun.
- 1:51Speaker 3: I was with this guy named Swath seven, and I
- 1:55Speaker 3: was just like, ooh, arrest me daddy. Because I was
- 1:57Speaker 3: making fun of him because he was like all tense, right,
- 2:00Speaker 3: And then I posted it and then it went viral,
- 2:03Speaker 3: and I was like, I'm gonna just keep doing it
- 2:04Speaker 3: because I had this other trend that I was doing,
- 2:07Speaker 3: like if your name started with an A or B,
- 2:09Speaker 3: doing all the letters, this is for you. And then
- 2:11Speaker 3: I was trying to think of what else to do,
- 2:13Speaker 3: but I just did that randomly and it just went up.
- 2:15Speaker 3: So I kept doing it, and then it became like
- 2:17Speaker 3: a trend on TikTok, like kids be doing it.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Has it? Uh like have you done it? And it
- 2:23Speaker 1: not gone very well? We're like somebody like, nah, not yet.
- 2:29Speaker 1: When your guy was just showing me he was torking
- 2:31Speaker 1: for the National Guard and they went away.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Yeah, we both did it forever man. Yeah, we was
- 2:36Speaker 3: in DC. We had to show in DC on this
- 2:38Speaker 3: tour with Chance the Rapper, and I did the arrest
- 2:42Speaker 3: me daddy to the National Guard. They just walked away.
- 2:45Speaker 3: He was talking to the national Guard. They just walked away.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Who would have thought, all you gotta do is make
- 2:49Speaker 1: them feel uncomfortable with uh some gyration and some yeah,
- 2:55Speaker 1: make him.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Uncomfortable with their own sexuality.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Like we got to get out here, had a deal.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Yeah, that's how you protest, make them uncomfortable.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Great protests strategy right there. So you're from Chicago, originally
- 3:06Speaker 1: from Chicago born, and you like you're not related to
- 3:11Speaker 1: Chance because you you look like and Taylor. You get
- 3:15Speaker 1: that a lot. I'm sure, yeah, I get it, especially
- 3:17Speaker 1: in Chicago.
- 3:17Speaker 3: I used to get it way more like before people
- 3:20Speaker 3: knew me, because they were like people knew them first, right,
- 3:23Speaker 3: So like before people knew me, they would always say that, do.
- 3:26Speaker 1: You feel like, you know, Chicago's kind of got like
- 3:28Speaker 1: this like interesting you know, dynamic of like the music
- 3:33Speaker 1: industry where it's like there's like one side is like
- 3:36Speaker 1: crazy drill ship and the other side is like Chance
- 3:39Speaker 1: and Common and VIC and you know, it's.
- 3:44Speaker 2: It's definitely side to it.
- 3:45Speaker 3: But the crazy thing is we all still know each other, right,
- 3:48Speaker 3: Like we'd be knowing all the drill people and stuff,
- 3:49Speaker 3: and we all like grew up in the same neighborhoods
- 3:52Speaker 3: as those type of people.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Is it like for you, like, did you did you
- 3:55Speaker 1: ever like give it give a shot at like doing
- 3:58Speaker 1: some drill music?
- 3:59Speaker 2: Nah? That that wasn't never me for real.
- 4:01Speaker 3: I was always like the weird person in the hood
- 4:04Speaker 3: because I grew up in Roseland and I also lived
- 4:06Speaker 3: in Chatham in the low End and a bunch of
- 4:09Speaker 3: other places like this, So it was I was always
- 4:11Speaker 3: and I.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Had pink hair.
- 4:12Speaker 3: I used to have pink hair at pink Locks, So
- 4:15Speaker 3: people always thought I was just.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Like weird dreadlocks.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, people thought I was weird.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Was this like like a little Oozy era?
- 4:22Speaker 3: It was like before like me and little UZI was
- 4:25Speaker 3: at the same point. At one point I got songs
- 4:27Speaker 3: a little loozy too, Yeah, shout out a little uzy.
- 4:30Speaker 3: But yeah, that was around that era. It was like
- 4:33Speaker 3: what they call it the SoundCloud era, Oh the dark times. Yeah,
- 4:36Speaker 3: because I had pink here in like twenty fifteen, twenty sixteen.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Do you look back at the SoundCloud era like positively? Yeah?
- 4:45Speaker 1: I was. I'm kind of indifferent about it. There was
- 4:47Speaker 1: some good shit that came out of it, and then
- 4:48Speaker 1: there was also like some of the worst, like shit
- 4:50Speaker 1: of all time. I feel you, how do you? I'm
- 4:53Speaker 1: thirty yeah, thirty eight now.
- 4:54Speaker 3: Okay, so I'm twenty nine, so yeah, I get it. Yeah,
- 4:58Speaker 3: a lot of I remember they used to call us
- 5:00Speaker 3: like mumble rappers.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I don't think a lot of that
- 5:02Speaker 1: ship was fair. But I do feel like the music
- 5:05Speaker 1: industry like just started signing like anybody who was like
- 5:10Speaker 1: getting like views on like Instagram and ship, Like I
- 5:13Speaker 1: remember the Supreme Patty Kid kid I used to squirt
- 5:16Speaker 1: lemons in his eyes, like, yeah, I remember. I think
- 5:19Speaker 1: three hundred gave him like a single deal or something
- 5:22Speaker 1: back then, which is like crazy, I think crazy.
- 5:24Speaker 2: I feel like they do the same stuff now with TikTok.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like it's it's chilled out a little
- 5:29Speaker 1: where they're like, yeah, they will give you like a
- 5:30Speaker 1: single deal. They like, we'll see if something's here. Yeah. Yeah.
- 5:33Speaker 1: And then you got Timbaland fucking you know, the AI artist.
- 5:37Speaker 2: I don't like that. That's kind of crazy.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Yeah, But now I feel like the SoundCloud error was cool.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I feel like obviously we got a lot of dope,
- 5:43Speaker 1: a lot of dope artists. I think Juice wrld's obviously generational, and.
- 5:46Speaker 3: X was dope. It was Juice World, x XX was loozy.
- 5:51Speaker 3: I'm trying to think who else was. It was a
- 5:53Speaker 3: lot of people from that, you know, yeah, Cardi, It
- 5:57Speaker 3: was a lot of people and it was around for
- 5:59Speaker 3: like that. The whole thing because like I had like
- 6:01Speaker 3: a little wave back then too. That's why people are
- 6:04Speaker 3: now are like, how to he blow up like ten
- 6:08Speaker 3: years later, right, because like I was on tour. I
- 6:11Speaker 3: went on tour with Young Lean back then. Oh word,
- 6:14Speaker 3: and I did like world tours back then, and a
- 6:16Speaker 3: lot of people some people don't even know that I'm
- 6:18Speaker 3: the same person from then.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Well, I mean if you had pink hair back then.
- 6:22Speaker 3: It is long, I'm sure, and I acted different. I
- 6:25Speaker 3: was more like mysterious and like you were like one
- 6:27Speaker 3: of them mysterious.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Yeah, which is do you feel like because that was
- 6:32Speaker 1: like a thing back then, Like you had to be
- 6:33Speaker 1: too mysterious. You don't want to overexpose yourself.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Yeah, that was like a thing back then.
- 6:37Speaker 3: But that doesn't really work anymore unless you're like Playboy
- 6:40Speaker 3: CARDI right, yeah.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Right, you kind of are. You got to kind of
- 6:45Speaker 1: be the weekend or Playboy card.
- 6:46Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying, Like the weekend Playboy card that
- 6:48Speaker 3: works for them, but like nine times out of ten
- 6:52Speaker 3: is not going to work for you because they have
- 6:53Speaker 3: a lot of money behind them.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Essentially, you're kind of like uh, young Og at this point.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Yeah, at this point, yeah, Like some people look at
- 7:02Speaker 2: me like the.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean you're you're twenty nine, so you're you're
- 7:05Speaker 1: not you know, you're not a kid.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Yeah, no, not a a kid.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Now. So how was your kid's four? Oh yeah you
- 7:13Speaker 1: got a terrorist at four. Yeah. Basically, three is the
- 7:17Speaker 1: worst year if you could survive. I was. Everybody always
- 7:20Speaker 1: says two's is like the terrible twos, not three is
- 7:23Speaker 1: when this little motherfucker thinks he's grown.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I feel like and he's getting stronger now.
- 7:28Speaker 3: So like he used to punch me and it did hurt.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Now he's like busting my lips.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Yeah. Now he accidentally hits you in the balls you're
- 7:35Speaker 1: going down, Yeah, like hurts for sure. Yeah, I'm like
- 7:38Speaker 1: damn yeah. And he likes punching and what uh what
- 7:43Speaker 1: was because you know, it's got to be a big
- 7:44Speaker 1: deal for you to get asked to go on tour
- 7:46Speaker 1: with Chance coming coming from Chicago.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that was a big deal.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Like when he had when like when we announced it,
- 7:52Speaker 3: since I'm from Chicago, like my phone like didn't stop ringing,
- 7:56Speaker 3: like especially like my parents and stuff because my parents
- 7:59Speaker 3: are fans in so they was like real excited about it.
- 8:03Speaker 1: That's gotta be hinded. Like, yo, my parents, they fuck
- 8:06Speaker 1: with your chance. Yeah.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I feel like he's.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Probably like a lot of parents' favorite rapper.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I would say so. My dad was calling me
- 8:13Speaker 3: about it. My dad met a one time too, I
- 8:15Speaker 3: like at a bar.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Yeah. I feel like when I when I when you
- 8:20Speaker 1: first sent me your ship, I definitely was like, they
- 8:22Speaker 1: gotta be related. This gotta be a cousin.
- 8:24Speaker 3: No nah, But people say it the even our parents, like, hey.
- 8:28Speaker 1: We got to stop the interview to tell you about
- 8:30Speaker 1: our good folks. Odd Socks, man, Now, these are the
- 8:33Speaker 1: odd Socks basics, Ladies and gentlemen. Now, when I tell
- 8:36Speaker 1: you this is a product that every single day I'm
- 8:40Speaker 1: alive for the last five six years I have used
- 8:45Speaker 1: are these odd socks basics. Now, what odd Socks is
- 8:47Speaker 1: doing is they're kind of reinventing the sock game, if
- 8:49Speaker 1: we're being honest, and the underwear game. You know a
- 8:51Speaker 1: lot of times you'll hit Walmart, you'll hit Target, you'll
- 8:54Speaker 1: get some socks, you get some draws. They're affordable, stand
- 8:57Speaker 1: up with holes in them. They don't really feel great,
- 9:00Speaker 1: uh not. Odd Socks, Ladies and gentlemen, These odd Socks
- 9:02Speaker 1: Basics are the most comfortable socks I've ever had on
- 9:05Speaker 1: my feet. Not only that, but you're super affordable. Fourteen
- 9:11Speaker 1: ninety nine for a six pack. That's it oddsocks dot Com.
- 9:16Speaker 1: And if you don't believe me, sock check full. Wait,
- 9:21Speaker 1: that's the exes on the other side. There we go. Ah,
- 9:25Speaker 1: you see that. Sorry you had to see those white legs.
- 9:29Speaker 1: But it's so dope that you know, I get to
- 9:32Speaker 1: push a product that I use and that I love,
- 9:34Speaker 1: so odd Socks they got the six pack of socks
- 9:37Speaker 1: for fourteen ninety nine at odd socks dot com the basics.
- 9:40Speaker 1: This is the future of socks, the future of underwear
- 9:44Speaker 1: comfort and affordability. I'm talking about affordability without jeopardizing the
- 9:49Speaker 1: quality because they are the most comfortable socks you ever
- 9:51Speaker 1: put on your feet. Ladies and gents and the Etcetera's
- 9:55Speaker 1: got to show love to the ETCeteras we like all
- 9:56Speaker 1: the stripes on the flag. There are odd socks dot Com. Man,
- 10:00Speaker 1: much love to my brothers over there. Make sure you
- 10:02Speaker 1: get some right now odd socks dot Com. Just get
- 10:04Speaker 1: back to the interview. I see you say that you
- 10:06Speaker 1: are the only major artist that replies to everything. Yeah,
- 10:10Speaker 1: is that is? Can that be time consuming?
- 10:13Speaker 3: Very time consuming? My screen time is like fourteen hours,
- 10:15Speaker 3: Like now I try to respond everything. So at one
- 10:18Speaker 3: point I was actually responding to every single message, and
- 10:21Speaker 3: now it's like I'll take like a couple hours and
- 10:23Speaker 3: respond to people, but I get dms like every minute now.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Every minute, so like what like essentially people kind of
- 10:33Speaker 1: like took advantage of like yo, he's replying, we gotta
- 10:36Speaker 1: hit him.
- 10:36Speaker 3: Yeah, it's literally every minute like I show. I don't
- 10:39Speaker 3: know who I show. I think I showed forever. Man,
- 10:41Speaker 3: it was like it's like every minute's like one minute,
- 10:43Speaker 3: two minute, three minute.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Four minute. That's crazy. Yeah, all day like NonStop. Did
- 10:48Speaker 1: you feel like that you being interactive with your fans
- 10:50Speaker 1: like kind of resulted in you being able to kind
- 10:52Speaker 1: of build like a following.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Yeah that definitely helped because before when I wasn't doing that,
- 10:58Speaker 3: I had like a smaller, like cold following. But now
- 11:01Speaker 3: it's more like I'll say I'm gonna be here in
- 11:04Speaker 3: thirty minutes and four.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Thousand people pull up. That shit's wild. Yeah, So it's
- 11:08Speaker 1: like different.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Did you see the UCLA when I Yeah, so it's
- 11:11Speaker 3: been like that in every city.
- 11:14Speaker 1: So every city you're going to, you'll do like a
- 11:15Speaker 1: random like you'll pull.
- 11:16Speaker 3: Up here, yeah, and it's like that in every single
- 11:18Speaker 3: it's been the craziest place so far. It was one
- 11:23Speaker 3: in Toronto that was pretty crazy. I think it was
- 11:24Speaker 3: University of Toronto or u S in Chicago. Loyola was
- 11:29Speaker 3: crazy in Chicago too. That was the only one I
- 11:33Speaker 3: didn't I wasn't able to get out the car, like
- 11:36Speaker 3: they like swarm the car and like the police, Mami leave.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Damn. I just saw that. But did you see the
- 11:42Speaker 1: video of young Boy decided to go to Bourbon Street
- 11:46Speaker 1: with no security? No, but that's crazy. He's so wid Yeah,
- 11:49Speaker 1: he's CRAZYPS literally like kidnapped him, yeah, and like got
- 11:53Speaker 1: him up out of there. We can't have this, Like
- 11:56Speaker 1: you just can't be walking around like Bourbon Street and
- 11:59Speaker 1: your NBA Young Boy in the state Louisiana.
- 12:01Speaker 3: I feeling though, because I'll be doing the same thing
- 12:03Speaker 3: and like people tell me, like NBA Young Boy is
- 12:06Speaker 3: crazy famous. But like people tell me to like stop
- 12:09Speaker 3: doing that, and I'm like no.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Yeah, like do you uh do you do a lot
- 12:16Speaker 1: of people I don't want to assume your sexuality. But
- 12:19Speaker 1: I assume you're straight man, yeah, because you have a kid, right, Yeah,
- 12:23Speaker 1: But do people assume that you're you're by or you're
- 12:25Speaker 1: gay because of the arrest me daddy memes? Yeah? Do
- 12:28Speaker 1: you get like a lot of dudes hitting on you?
- 12:29Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 12:30Speaker 1: How do you like, you know, be polite and be
- 12:32Speaker 1: like yo, just fun. I'm comfortable with my sexuality. We
- 12:37Speaker 1: have some good suss humor going.
- 12:38Speaker 2: But uh yeah, I mean I was just cool with everybody.
- 12:41Speaker 1: I like it. Have you got any Pride bookings off
- 12:44Speaker 1: the arrest me daddy shit? Low key? No.
- 12:46Speaker 2: But I went to Pride and it was crazy.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I feel like Pride is really motherfuckers really be having fun. Yeah.
- 12:51Speaker 3: I went to Pride. It was like it was NonStop pictures,
- 12:54Speaker 3: Like people, you.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Little hip hop club, it's all about popping bottles and standing. Yeah.
- 12:58Speaker 3: I don't really like the I'm not even like a
- 13:00Speaker 3: club person, Like, I only go to the club when
- 13:03Speaker 3: I'm like bookes.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Right, if there's a bag to pick up? What do
- 13:06Speaker 1: you do for fun? Like, how do you unwind for
- 13:09Speaker 1: fun outside of you know, hanging with your kid? Yeah?
- 13:11Speaker 3: Kids stuff? Basketball? Used to play basketball a lot. I
- 13:15Speaker 3: played baseball in college. I like baseball. I haven't had
- 13:19Speaker 3: much free time recently, to be honest.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Like no TV, no games.
- 13:25Speaker 3: I haven't been watching TV or anything. Like yesterday I
- 13:27Speaker 3: did the show, went home, went to sleep, woke up,
- 13:30Speaker 3: came here.
- 13:31Speaker 1: No binge watching. Not right now? What about like in
- 13:35Speaker 1: the past, is there any TV show you loved?
- 13:37Speaker 2: I'm trying to think, who's that one that got canceled?
- 13:43Speaker 1: A lot of shows get canceled.
- 13:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I know, uh love Craft Country, Oh Ship on
- 13:50Speaker 3: HBO it was only one season, which was crazy. Yeah
- 13:54Speaker 3: that was a good show, but it got canceled.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Maybe yeah HPO be having some heat and they just
- 13:58Speaker 1: take it away. Yeah, that was like one of my
- 14:00Speaker 1: favorite shows and it got canceled, and I was like,
- 14:02Speaker 1: what the fuck? Yeah? Great, great single season though it was.
- 14:07Speaker 1: You're independent? Yeah, independent. I'm assuming that there's probably a
- 14:12Speaker 1: lot of opportunity for you to sign if you wanted to.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Is there anything that would, like, you know, what would
- 14:16Speaker 1: have to happen for you to decide to go and
- 14:17Speaker 1: do the major machine thing.
- 14:19Speaker 3: I mean, it would have to be a very great deal,
- 14:22Speaker 3: because I get offered deals all the time now and
- 14:25Speaker 3: now I'm like, at the point where I reached the
- 14:27Speaker 3: level where I'm very financially stable on my own. So
- 14:33Speaker 3: and I was like doing music for like fifteen years.
- 14:36Speaker 3: So I'm like I made it to this point without
- 14:38Speaker 3: a label, Like I might have needed them before, but
- 14:41Speaker 3: like now it's like I feel like I don't really.
- 14:43Speaker 1: I feel like, once you have the fan base, if
- 14:45Speaker 1: you can have four thousand people pull up and with
- 14:47Speaker 1: thirty minute notice, like that's that's what I'm saying, there's
- 14:50Speaker 1: nothing the label can really help you with.
- 14:51Speaker 3: There's like signed artists that are way more like famous
- 14:55Speaker 3: than me that can't have that many people pull up
- 14:57Speaker 3: in thirty minutes.
- 14:58Speaker 1: I would say most are.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I'm saying, so and they know that.
- 15:02Speaker 3: So that's why like labels hit me to help promote
- 15:05Speaker 3: other artists.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Would you like consult for a major label.
- 15:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I would do that. Yeah, I'm not against it.
- 15:11Speaker 3: But coach a rapper maybe yeah, but I would definitely
- 15:13Speaker 3: tell people that like they're trying to fuck you over.
- 15:16Speaker 1: If it's like you know, like, hey, I know I'm
- 15:18Speaker 1: supposed to be working for the label here and coaching you,
- 15:20Speaker 1: but they're they're fucking.
- 15:21Speaker 2: You, Like I would just feel bad, Like, but you.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Know what it is too, is like I feel like
- 15:26Speaker 1: a lot of the artists who kind of chase the advances,
- 15:32Speaker 1: they're kind of like lazy, low key. It's like you're
- 15:34Speaker 1: kind of like, don't I don't feel like some some
- 15:36Speaker 1: artists I feel bad because they signed too early and
- 15:38Speaker 1: they get kind of caught up in a situation that
- 15:40Speaker 1: they can't get at it for a while. But then
- 15:41Speaker 1: there's other artist where you're like, yeah, you probably should
- 15:44Speaker 1: have took the deal you took because you're lazy as fuck.
- 15:46Speaker 3: Yeah, you kind of if you're if you're not trying
- 15:49Speaker 3: to work more than the average person, you should definitely
- 15:52Speaker 3: take a deal because like being independent is a lot
- 15:54Speaker 3: of work and you have to be like business savvy.
- 15:57Speaker 2: You can't be like a lazy dumb person for.
- 16:00Speaker 1: Like in terms of the business model of like you
- 16:02Speaker 1: being independent, because I feel like streaming is like, you
- 16:04Speaker 1: know whatever, it's like cherry on top money. What is
- 16:08Speaker 1: the meat and potatoes of like how you're able to
- 16:10Speaker 1: kind of survive as an independent artist.
- 16:15Speaker 3: So I get like a lot of brand deals. I
- 16:18Speaker 3: get like sinks, think merch merchant stuff, meet up shows.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Just because did SUBI give you a deal because I
- 16:28Speaker 1: saw you shot?
- 16:29Speaker 2: Should they giving me you clothes?
- 16:31Speaker 1: They do give you clothes. Well, that's good. It's a
- 16:34Speaker 1: good brand to get free ship from. Yeah, they got
- 16:37Speaker 1: the jeans with the with the tag on the back pocket.
- 16:40Speaker 3: Yeah, but we need a deal or somebody else's going
- 16:42Speaker 3: give me one and then I'll be wearing all their shuits.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Is that a Japanese company? I think it feels like
- 16:47Speaker 1: it's Australian. Have you been in Japan yet? Nah?
- 16:52Speaker 3: But I'm they're talking about booking me in Tokyo, right,
- 16:56Speaker 3: was crazy?
- 16:56Speaker 1: I just came back. I haven't been there yet. It's
- 16:58Speaker 1: a vibe. It's like going of the future.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Looky, that's why I heard I want to go.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like walking into like I don't know, it's
- 17:06Speaker 1: it's wild. They got this area called Electric City where
- 17:09Speaker 1: it's like video games and like like it's like a
- 17:12Speaker 1: radio shack on like steroids.
- 17:15Speaker 3: Like pretty wild, but they're always advanced with like the
- 17:18Speaker 3: game and and stuff.
- 17:18Speaker 1: Definitely go to Tokyo. Are you a big game? Were
- 17:21Speaker 1: you a big gamer or a little bit? What were
- 17:24Speaker 1: you playing? I played like Gears of War. They just
- 17:29Speaker 1: dropped the new version of that on five.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Yeah, I played the old one.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Well, I used to be an Xbox guy just because
- 17:37Speaker 1: the Gears of War. Yea, Gears of War was a
- 17:38Speaker 1: good game. And then I kept getting that fucking red
- 17:40Speaker 1: Ring of Death. Yeah, and I had to had to
- 17:43Speaker 1: make the switch. Yeah. I only played the first two
- 17:47Speaker 1: Gears of War, but they just dropped like the re
- 17:49Speaker 1: uh like the red what do they call it when
- 17:51Speaker 1: they remax?
- 17:53Speaker 2: You say on PlayStation five?
- 17:54Speaker 1: Oh?
- 17:54Speaker 2: Yeah, because it was the Xbox.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Only, yes, five. Oh. I think I think the Xbox
- 18:00Speaker 1: is kind of just realized that they're like as a
- 18:03Speaker 1: console cooked. Yeah, I mean, no one's buying fucking Xboxes
- 18:06Speaker 1: right now.
- 18:07Speaker 3: I feel that because PlayStation five had a lot of hype,
- 18:10Speaker 3: you couldn't even like buy one.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Yeah, it's still liked, no like that anymore. I think
- 18:16Speaker 1: the PS six is probably coming pretty soon.
- 18:18Speaker 3: I remember I thought about buying one during COVID and
- 18:20Speaker 3: then I was like, you can't even buy one.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Yeah. It was tough. Yeah, all the chips were there,
- 18:25Speaker 1: was like a chip shorts and ship. When you say
- 18:27Speaker 1: you have a most interactive fan base, what does that mean?
- 18:31Speaker 3: I think my fan base is pretty crazy. Like when
- 18:36Speaker 3: people come and see it in person, it's different. It's
- 18:41Speaker 3: like you see, like I'm not like technically on paper
- 18:44Speaker 3: like the most famous person right now, right, but like
- 18:47Speaker 3: when you see how my fans interact with me, it's
- 18:50Speaker 3: like they've been like comparing it to like Michael Jackson.
- 18:53Speaker 3: That's crazy because it's like four thousand people that are
- 18:56Speaker 3: like all screaming, they're like grabbing me.
- 18:58Speaker 1: Anybody gets tattooed yet, Yeah? Does that trip you out
- 19:01Speaker 1: when you see someone like your name or your face tattooed?
- 19:04Speaker 3: Yeah, that was kind of crazy, Like it was one
- 19:07Speaker 3: guy signed his arm and then he got it tattooed.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Does he get concert tickets in the future. Yeah.
- 19:13Speaker 2: I told him I was gonna give them my jacket.
- 19:15Speaker 1: I mean that's a good.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Yeah, that's not bad. I just haven't seen him yet.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Yeah, next time I see you, I'm gonna give you
- 19:21Speaker 1: a jacket. Yeah.
- 19:22Speaker 3: Yeah, when I see him, he's in Chicago. I told
- 19:24Speaker 3: I think I gave him my number. I told him, like,
- 19:27Speaker 3: just keep spam texting me. How did so?
- 19:29Speaker 2: He wait?
- 19:30Speaker 1: Wait, you gave you gave the dude who tattooed your
- 19:32Speaker 1: name on his body your phone number?
- 19:34Speaker 3: Yeah, so I could meet up with him and give
- 19:36Speaker 3: him my jackets.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Has that turned out to be a good or a
- 19:39Speaker 1: bad idea? Well, my phone number leaked, so it's already.
- 19:43Speaker 1: You must have two phones now I need to I
- 19:46Speaker 1: need to get one. Yeah, another one. I'm not you
- 19:48Speaker 1: and I have two phones. You get to keep a galaxy. Yeah.
- 19:51Speaker 3: No, I have like, like I don't know, like seventeen
- 19:53Speaker 3: hundred miss text messages and it liked my phone like
- 19:56Speaker 3: gets a lot of calls and stuff.
- 19:58Speaker 1: I only have three hundred and forty nine. Yeah, but
- 20:00Speaker 1: it's like somebody leafed my phone number. Do you think
- 20:03Speaker 1: they did that to like, like, was it like a hater?
- 20:06Speaker 2: Nah?
- 20:06Speaker 1: I think it was just like fans happy. Yeah. How
- 20:09Speaker 1: did you get banned from the being in Chicago?
- 20:12Speaker 2: Well?
- 20:12Speaker 1: I had a meet up there and like they were
- 20:14Speaker 1: just like, yo, this is crazy. Yeah.
- 20:16Speaker 3: They had like the helicopters and stuff because they thought
- 20:18Speaker 3: it was like a protest.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I mean if it could have been, yeah, it been.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Chicago's fucked up right now man.
- 20:25Speaker 2: Yeah, And I'm also banned from the Bape store.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Which one in Chicago, all of them any bape store? Yeah,
- 20:31Speaker 1: because of you did a fan thing.
- 20:33Speaker 3: They wouldn't let me in and then I made a
- 20:35Speaker 3: video and the video got like, I don't know, like
- 20:38Speaker 3: twenty million views or something that telling people not to
- 20:41Speaker 3: shop at Babe and then their management saw it and
- 20:44Speaker 3: then they banned me from all the stories DA. So
- 20:47Speaker 3: now when I walk up, they immediately locked the doors.
- 20:50Speaker 3: I went to New York. One of their people told
- 20:52Speaker 3: me like they had a meeting about me being in
- 20:54Speaker 3: New York, like, he's in New York, don't let him in.
- 20:57Speaker 1: They probably got your picture like near the register. Yeah, yeah,
- 21:00Speaker 1: damn definitely about to say. I was gonna tell you
- 21:04Speaker 1: when you go to Tokyo, you gotta go to the
- 21:05Speaker 1: Babe store. But I guess you can't go to the
- 21:07Speaker 1: Babe store. I could wear like a disguise. You could,
- 21:09Speaker 1: I feel like, you know, maybe put on like a
- 21:12Speaker 1: I mean you already have a mustache.
- 21:14Speaker 3: No I did that, though. I put on like a
- 21:15Speaker 3: beard to the one in Chicago.
- 21:17Speaker 1: You could go poo shisty, yeah, shisty on. Yeah.
- 21:20Speaker 3: I wore disguis and they let me in and I
- 21:23Speaker 3: started dancing, and then they were like, oh, it's him,
- 21:25Speaker 3: kick him out.
- 21:27Speaker 1: So you were the disguise just to get it and
- 21:29Speaker 1: get kicked out again. Yeah, it was like a thing.
- 21:31Speaker 3: I was like day one of wearing the disguys trying
- 21:33Speaker 3: to get into the Babe store and they let me
- 21:35Speaker 3: in the first day.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Would you ever like do any acting or TV stuff? Yeah?
- 21:40Speaker 1: I was on south Side on Comedy Central. South Side
- 21:44Speaker 1: was on Comedy Central at first. Yeah, oh ship, that's fire.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Where is it at now?
- 21:48Speaker 1: Hulu? Wait, what's what was the show? I'm thinking I'm
- 21:52Speaker 1: thinking they is on the show time, That's what I said. Yeah,
- 21:56Speaker 1: so so so is that something that you want to
- 21:58Speaker 1: pursue more of? Yeah, definitely, definitely want to act more.
- 22:02Speaker 2: You already know.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Man. Want to give a shout out to slap Woods

- 23:00Speaker 1: follow him on Instagram at slap Woods. Let's get back
- 23:03Speaker 1: to the podcast. Do you feel like this tour has
- 23:07Speaker 1: because I feel like Chance, I feel like this album
- 23:10Speaker 1: has been so like special in terms of just kind
- 23:12Speaker 1: of Chance took his time with this album and it
- 23:15Speaker 1: kind of like, you know, when we talk about album
- 23:17Speaker 1: of the year, it's in that discussion. But what has
- 23:20Speaker 1: like been like just the coolest memory from because the
- 23:22Speaker 1: tour is over, it ended last night last night, obviously
- 23:26Speaker 1: yourself the Russell Chance, Like, what's been the coolest memory
- 23:29Speaker 1: from the tour?
- 23:30Speaker 2: Coolest memory so far? Me and Chance.
- 23:33Speaker 3: Also we did a meet up in New York because
- 23:35Speaker 3: like he saw how crazy it was, so he wanted
- 23:37Speaker 3: to go to one. So he came to one in
- 23:39Speaker 3: New York and like people saw me and then they
- 23:42Speaker 3: like swarmed me, and they're like, what the fuck Chances
- 23:45Speaker 3: here too?
- 23:46Speaker 1: So I thought that was cool because did it kind
- 23:49Speaker 1: of give you some relief because then they swarmed him?
- 23:52Speaker 3: Nah, because then they still like swarm me. It was like,
- 23:55Speaker 3: my fans are like crazy and I feel like we
- 23:57Speaker 3: have like two separate fan bases, right, So like they
- 24:00Speaker 3: kind of swarmed him still, but it was like they
- 24:03Speaker 3: were like still like swarming me too.
- 24:06Speaker 1: I've seen you been like who's been the most random person?
- 24:09Speaker 1: Because I saw you linked up with like Jason Tatum.
- 24:11Speaker 1: I think you just were Squirrella yesterday. Who's been the
- 24:14Speaker 1: most random person that you've been able to hit with
- 24:17Speaker 1: with your uh your online antics.
- 24:21Speaker 3: Jason Tatum was probably ran the most random Maybe or
- 24:24Speaker 3: Pink Panthers. Yeah she's dope speed, but yeah I like
- 24:31Speaker 3: Pink Panthers.
- 24:33Speaker 1: Is it like, uh, you know, I do feel like
- 24:39Speaker 1: there has the gift in the curse of going viral.
- 24:42Speaker 1: The way you go viral is like people might look
- 24:44Speaker 1: at you as like a comedian or like a they
- 24:47Speaker 1: might not take you serious as an artist. Do you
- 24:50Speaker 1: do you feel like that kind of like challenge where
- 24:53Speaker 1: it's like, Okay, people might know me for this, yeah,
- 24:55Speaker 1: but like getting them to the music and to get
- 24:58Speaker 1: them to take you serious as an art artist, is
- 25:00Speaker 1: that something that is difficult?
- 25:03Speaker 3: Yeah, definitely, because, like especially since I started only focused
- 25:09Speaker 3: on my music, so like people only knew me for music, right,
- 25:13Speaker 3: and then like I just saw for years that that
- 25:15Speaker 3: didn't work without like money behind you for for sure.
- 25:19Speaker 3: So I was like I have to do something different
- 25:21Speaker 3: since I am independent, to like get people's attention. So
- 25:24Speaker 3: now it's kind of like some people don't know about
- 25:27Speaker 3: my like my face is bigger than my music right
- 25:30Speaker 3: right now. But I feel like that's a good place
- 25:34Speaker 3: to be because like now people just like whatever I do.
- 25:37Speaker 3: So now I can like put out new songs people
- 25:40Speaker 3: who listen to it. I could do acting, I could
- 25:42Speaker 3: do a bunch of different stuff. But it is kind
- 25:44Speaker 3: of tough sometimes because I am a person.
- 25:46Speaker 2: That was just like I just want to do music, right.
- 25:48Speaker 1: You're like a musician at heart, like that's your first love.
- 25:51Speaker 1: If you.
- 25:51Speaker 3: Yeah, like I heard like I've been in like writing
- 25:53Speaker 3: sessions with like Kelly Rowland and like that type of shit.
- 25:56Speaker 2: So it was cool.
- 25:57Speaker 3: She's very nice, she's she's a g Yeah, she's but
- 26:00Speaker 3: like it so like coming from like doing shit like
- 26:03Speaker 3: that and then to this. Yeah, it's cool. But yeah,
- 26:10Speaker 3: I definitely am a musician or so please listen to
- 26:12Speaker 3: my music.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Was the last time you dropper was of the Generational Run? Yeah?
- 26:16Speaker 2: Generational Run?
- 26:17Speaker 1: Are you working on new ship? Yeah? I got a
- 26:19Speaker 1: new single coming out.
- 26:22Speaker 3: What's it? Today's I think November whatever? That Friday is
- 26:27Speaker 3: like the eleventh, thir eighteenth or something.
- 26:29Speaker 1: It's eleventh eighteenth, it's a week aparts.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Those are both Fridays, I don't know. Yeah, whatever calendar.
- 26:34Speaker 1: November, some November somewhere in November, New Friday? Yeah, coming.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Have you and l Russell been able to power out
- 26:41Speaker 1: on this tour and like kind of compare because you
- 26:43Speaker 1: guys are kind of independent but in your own ways. Now,
- 26:46Speaker 1: I met him, I love you.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Met him for the first time yesterday.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Oh really, did you guys get the chat at all? Yeah?
- 26:53Speaker 2: I talked to him.
- 26:53Speaker 3: I told him I liked this music, and then it
- 26:56Speaker 3: got busy. We were gonna make videos within like we
- 26:59Speaker 3: both got busy.
- 27:00Speaker 1: You got to go to the pergola in his mom's backyard.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I gotta pull up. I see the dance
- 27:06Speaker 1: he does, like the Yeah, he's got his little dance. Yeah. Yeah,
- 27:10Speaker 1: I like him. He's nice. Yeah, he's incredible. Yeah. He's
- 27:13Speaker 1: also like, you know, independently, he's kind of changing the
- 27:15Speaker 1: way a lot of people view like, yeah, how they
- 27:18Speaker 1: can like monetize their fan base. Yeah, because he's independent.
- 27:20Speaker 3: He's performing at like basketball games and stuff like NBA games,
- 27:25Speaker 3: All Star weekend. I'll start weekend. That's what I'm saying. Normally,
- 27:28Speaker 3: that's like a signed artist thing.
- 27:29Speaker 1: I feel like, yeah, it's like doing a thing where
- 27:31Speaker 1: it's like I think a lot more artists are independent
- 27:34Speaker 1: where it's like an offer based live show. Yeah, oh yeah,
- 27:37Speaker 1: like donation base. Like so it's like, yo, put an
- 27:40Speaker 1: offering for your ticket and we'll prove it or deny.
- 27:42Speaker 2: Oh that's fire.
- 27:43Speaker 1: So it's like some people might pay twenty bucks, another
- 27:46Speaker 1: person might pay a thousand dollars. Yeah, that's fire.
- 27:48Speaker 2: He's smart.
- 27:49Speaker 1: And then he's like, yo, I like to perform in
- 27:51Speaker 1: the afternoon so the concerts at two PM.
- 27:54Speaker 3: I also like the so that's fire. I'm like, normally
- 27:57Speaker 3: a morning person. This tour is just being crazy. I
- 28:00Speaker 3: normally wake up at like six.
- 28:01Speaker 1: Am every day, yeah, except for today.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Except for today, I was late, and I'm sorry. It's
- 28:07Speaker 3: all good because yeah, I didn't go to sleep till
- 28:09Speaker 3: like three am.
- 28:10Speaker 1: I thing, who is on your Chicago Mount Rushmore in
- 28:13Speaker 1: terms of more damn, that's gotta be gotta be Kanye
- 28:20Speaker 1: of course.
- 28:21Speaker 3: And then he also tried to sign me at one
- 28:23Speaker 3: point win in twenty eighteen, so this was.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Like a kids he ghost Yay Daytona era Wyoming, Yeah,
- 28:34Speaker 1: Wyoming around there. Yeah. Yeah.
- 28:36Speaker 3: His guy that films all his documentaries used to be
- 28:39Speaker 3: my cameraman.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Oh fire Nico okay, ball of stereos, So he tried
- 28:43Speaker 1: to bring you to good music. Yeah, and then he
- 28:45Speaker 1: got my camera man instead. He's like, oh, we can't
- 28:49Speaker 1: get it. We're going to take his.
- 28:51Speaker 3: Camera man, but shout out Nico, shout out Kanye. So
- 28:54Speaker 3: Kanye common has to be on there.
- 28:58Speaker 1: I feel like, of course, by the way, I love
- 29:01Speaker 1: your first two because most people wouldn't put comment in
- 29:04Speaker 1: that unless your old head like me.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Comment's gotta be on there.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:13Speaker 2: I feel like Loope gotta be on there too.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Fuck yeah, of course he has to be on there.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Let's go loop a chief. Keith has to be on there.
- 29:21Speaker 3: Yeah, Chan has gotta be on there to Chance and
- 29:24Speaker 3: then me for the younger people.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Want to give a shout out to our family at
- 29:28Speaker 1: Roken Man Broken. Uh listen, I love these vapes Broken Cannabis.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Make sure you go shoot them a follow. I was
- 29:37Speaker 1: in Austin, Texas, and you know I was off the

- 30:37Speaker 1: we were at before the crash? The Great crash of
- 30:40Speaker 1: twenty twenty five, the great rod Caster crack? What they
- 30:44Speaker 1: call it Black Monday or what is it called Black Monday?
- 30:47Speaker 1: Feels like a shopping day or.
- 30:49Speaker 2: No, no, no black Friday?
- 30:51Speaker 1: Is that? Oh no, that was Black Monday?
- 30:54Speaker 2: Black Monday? Yeah, was it?
- 30:58Speaker 1: Yeah? I think so? Right? Or tariff as they call
- 31:00Speaker 1: it in twenty twenty five? Yeah, yeah, crazy as I like,
- 31:04Speaker 1: I mean, I know you've been on the road, but like,
- 31:08Speaker 1: has like the National Guard taken over Chicago? Is that? Like,
- 31:11Speaker 1: I mean, you see these videos and it's kind of scary.
- 31:13Speaker 1: What's happening? Like? Yeah, has that affected you or anybody?
- 31:16Speaker 1: You know? Yeah?
- 31:17Speaker 3: I feel like it's definitely affecting a lot of people.
- 31:20Speaker 3: But I have just been out of town, so I
- 31:22Speaker 3: haven't seen them. I've seen the videos.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Videos are wild.
- 31:24Speaker 3: The videos are crazy, and that's why I was trying
- 31:27Speaker 3: to go find them to like do the videos too.
- 31:29Speaker 3: And I saw they had like the no Kings protests
- 31:31Speaker 3: and it was like hundreds of thousands of people in Chicago,
- 31:34Speaker 3: Like people were holding them up my sign like saying
- 31:36Speaker 3: like they said, arrest.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Me daddy with a picture of me on it. Fire.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Yeah, fire. I was gonna go, but I was out
- 31:41Speaker 2: of town.
- 31:42Speaker 1: Are you gonna go? Are you like now that the
- 31:45Speaker 1: tour's over, you're going back home or where you going? Yeah?
- 31:48Speaker 2: Well, I'm here for a week.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Hanging out in LA getting Elisha done.
- 31:52Speaker 3: Yeah, meetings, and then I got a booking I gotta
- 31:55Speaker 3: do Saturday, a college party, and then I got another
- 31:59Speaker 3: show in DC, and then I have a show back
- 32:02Speaker 3: here November sixteenth, and then I was a show in
- 32:04Speaker 3: Chicago December.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Staying busy Yeah busy.
- 32:08Speaker 1: Yeah. Do you feel like you having the word killer
- 32:11Speaker 1: in your name is like a little uh? Is it
- 32:14Speaker 1: good or bad?
- 32:15Speaker 3: I used to overthink it, like I used to, like,
- 32:18Speaker 3: cause back before this whole TikTok shit, I used to
- 32:21Speaker 3: have meetings with labels and they would be like, that's
- 32:23Speaker 3: not very marketable.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Well, I mean ghost Face Killer is you know, one
- 32:28Speaker 1: of the ghats.
- 32:28Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's why I was.
- 32:30Speaker 3: I was like, it's gonna be marketable for me, like
- 32:32Speaker 3: and I mean I showed how it could be marketable
- 32:34Speaker 3: because now I'm like the most viewed person on the internet.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Did you ever think about like just just being just
- 32:40Speaker 1: a damn? Yeah? Yeah I did that.
- 32:42Speaker 3: I actually did that for a second, like during COVID,
- 32:46Speaker 3: and then it didn't do too well because I didn't
- 32:49Speaker 3: get all my shit like switched over.
- 32:50Speaker 1: I like started. That's the hardest shit ever for people
- 32:53Speaker 1: who don't know. If you're ever an artist and you
- 32:54Speaker 1: have a lot of music out and you're trying to
- 32:56Speaker 1: change in your fucking name, yeah, getting your ship like
- 33:00Speaker 1: the Apple profile and all that ship is the biggest
- 33:03Speaker 1: headache ever. It was a lot.
- 33:04Speaker 3: I didn't feel like doing anything, and I put out
- 33:05Speaker 3: a tape under a damn and it did not that good.
- 33:10Speaker 1: But is that still on its own profile?
- 33:15Speaker 3: It's called designer closing money loads under just a damn.
- 33:19Speaker 3: It's like on Spotify, Apple Music.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Who do you do your distro through? You just doing
- 33:23Speaker 1: like distro kid or to that one I did. In general,
- 33:27Speaker 1: I have been doing tune did a ditto nice. I'm
- 33:32Speaker 1: all about hearing about new distros because I feel like
- 33:35Speaker 1: a distro kid and tune Core kind of got its
- 33:37Speaker 1: fucking locked up.
- 33:38Speaker 2: Yeah, but distro kid, they I hate them.
- 33:40Speaker 1: I'm not gonna lie. You know what they did though,
- 33:43Speaker 1: because I heard I do hear that they're very shitty
- 33:45Speaker 1: in terms of like the rate that they give you
- 33:47Speaker 1: on your streams and there they do a lot of
- 33:50Speaker 1: other whole ship. But what they did do that made
- 33:53Speaker 1: people want to fuck with them is you're able to
- 33:56Speaker 1: cut in producers and ship them the split ship whatever
- 33:59Speaker 1: your court does. Now, you could do it. They were
- 34:02Speaker 1: dis jo k was the first to do it, but
- 34:03Speaker 1: they're the first to do it. You could do it.
- 34:05Speaker 1: People were like, yo, man, because you know how difficult
- 34:06Speaker 1: it is to deal with producers and yeah, like, hey,
- 34:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna just get throw you cut what your dis
- 34:12Speaker 1: kid email?
- 34:13Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, And now tune Core now does it. But yeah,
- 34:15Speaker 3: dis jow K was first. I was using them, and
- 34:17Speaker 3: then they deleted four years of my catalog.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Oh that's some whole ship. And then they don't have
- 34:22Speaker 1: anybody even get ahold of no, unless now, I could
- 34:25Speaker 1: definitely get a home. Yeah, unless you're like super lit. Yeah,
- 34:28Speaker 1: they give you like a representative, but otherwise you're like
- 34:31Speaker 1: a lot of independent artists. Ship was getting deleted off
- 34:33Speaker 1: distroc Kid.
- 34:34Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying because now like Tune Corps, I
- 34:36Speaker 3: know everybody like distroke Kid, I could definitely have a
- 34:39Speaker 3: rep now, But like back then, when I was like
- 34:42Speaker 3: a smaller artist that people didn't know as much, they
- 34:45Speaker 3: treated me terribly, Like they deleted four years of my catalog.
- 34:48Speaker 3: I'll never work with distoke Kid. I don't I low key,
- 34:51Speaker 3: I don't care how much money give me. That's a
- 34:52Speaker 3: big ship because they deleted four years of my catalog.
- 34:56Speaker 3: And then it was when I had to ship a
- 34:58Speaker 3: little uzzy and then it was like his fans like
- 35:01Speaker 3: spam reporting my shit, and the email was like a
- 35:04Speaker 3: spam email. I'm like, this clearly is not a real email.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Oh so essentially, because I know they'll do that, like
- 35:09Speaker 1: if you have a song with like a major artist,
- 35:12Speaker 1: they're like damn near, like you need to somehow prove
- 35:15Speaker 1: to them that you have the clearance otherwise like they'll
- 35:18Speaker 1: take your shit off.
- 35:19Speaker 3: Yeah, but it was just other songs not even related
- 35:21Speaker 3: to him, Like his fans were like mad at me,
- 35:23Speaker 3: and they were like reporting all my shit, and then
- 35:25Speaker 3: they were like the only reason, the only way we're
- 35:28Speaker 3: gonna put up this music again is if you take
- 35:32Speaker 3: this random email to Court Improved to us.
- 35:35Speaker 1: That this is their song. And Johanne got time for that.
- 35:38Speaker 2: Yeah, and that was four years of my catalog.
- 35:40Speaker 3: So then after that, I took a year off from
- 35:42Speaker 3: music because that shit just pissed me off so much.
- 35:45Speaker 1: What did you did you did you have a like
- 35:48Speaker 1: like go through something with the oozy thing? Yeah, like
- 35:51Speaker 1: I can't.
- 35:51Speaker 3: I was trying to get it cleared and then DJ
- 35:54Speaker 3: Drammer then wanting like fifty thousand to clear, and I
- 35:57Speaker 3: was like, I'm an independent artist.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Can y'all do?
- 35:59Speaker 3: Like I didn't even try to get them to do
- 36:01Speaker 3: it for free. I was like, can y'all do like
- 36:02Speaker 3: twenty thousand, ten thousand? They were like no, So I
- 36:06Speaker 3: was like, all right, I already spent like a good
- 36:08Speaker 3: amount on the song as an independent artist. And then
- 36:11Speaker 3: I was like, okay, let me go try to get
- 36:13Speaker 3: a deal for it, like a single deal.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Yeah, because if you get a single deal, you can Yeah,
- 36:18Speaker 1: and then.
- 36:18Speaker 3: I found a company that was gonna do it, but
- 36:21Speaker 3: they wanted a video to go with it, and that's
- 36:25Speaker 3: more money, more money, but they were gonna pay for it.
- 36:28Speaker 3: So I was like hitting them up trying to get
- 36:29Speaker 3: Uzi to do it. He wasn't responding. Deal came off
- 36:32Speaker 3: the table.
- 36:32Speaker 1: So songs that out, what's on YouTube? I'm assuming somewhere.
- 36:36Speaker 3: It's out, just it doesn't have his name on it,
- 36:38Speaker 3: called Cheerio. But yeah, that shit pissed me off for
- 36:40Speaker 3: like a little minute.
- 36:42Speaker 2: So I stopped doing music for a year.
- 36:44Speaker 1: Damn that shit like three off off the.
- 36:47Speaker 3: Yeah, cause it was like my kid was like four weeks,
- 36:51Speaker 3: so four years my catalog got deleted.
- 36:55Speaker 2: They offered me like two hundred thousand for.
- 36:56Speaker 1: The song if I would have got a video done
- 36:58Speaker 1: to change your life Yeah at that point, yeah for sure.
- 37:01Speaker 1: And then it didn't happen. And then I started doing
- 37:05Speaker 1: like uber eats and shoot, so uber eats Grind's real.
- 37:09Speaker 1: They ever do the ye the instacart where you go
- 37:13Speaker 1: shopping for people.
- 37:14Speaker 3: No, but I did that same thing on uber eatst though,
- 37:17Speaker 3: because they do that on ober eats too. How long
- 37:20Speaker 3: did you do aubrets like two years, like I did
- 37:23Speaker 3: Uber eats hand like regular Uber and like lift.
- 37:25Speaker 1: I've always thought about, like just for fun, driving Uber
- 37:29Speaker 1: just to like but like like document it, like vlog it.
- 37:33Speaker 1: That would be great content. But that shit was terrible.
- 37:36Speaker 1: The funniest, low key kind of dangerous. The worst shit
- 37:38Speaker 1: ever is when I get into an Uber and like
- 37:41Speaker 1: the drivers a rapper and knows who I am. Yeah,
- 37:44Speaker 1: and then the whole time they're just playing their ship
- 37:46Speaker 1: and I'm just like, yeah, yeah, man, I feel like
- 37:50Speaker 1: keep going dog now because most people like like would
- 37:54Speaker 1: you play your own ship? When people would get in
- 37:55Speaker 1: the car, I was picking up fans, they is such
- 37:57Speaker 1: a good song. I would pick up fans and they
- 37:59Speaker 1: would be like, why the fuck are you driving Uber?
- 38:01Speaker 1: And I'll do what you do? You got a kid?
- 38:03Speaker 1: I got a kid. Yeah. And then capa donna from
- 38:06Speaker 1: the Wu Tang clan was driving taxis in New York
- 38:08Speaker 1: for a little bit.
- 38:09Speaker 3: Yeah that's what I'm saying. I was like, I got
- 38:10Speaker 3: a kid. You know, the shit ain't paying right now,
- 38:13Speaker 3: so I'm doing this.
- 38:14Speaker 1: When did the for you, like the money change where
- 38:17Speaker 1: you were able to be like, oh shit, this is
- 38:19Speaker 1: like working and I am financially stable now where I
- 38:22Speaker 1: can do what I want.
- 38:23Speaker 3: It was low key, like because that was my first
- 38:26Speaker 3: job I ever had, So I was like living off
- 38:28Speaker 3: music since twenty sixteen until coach.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Just what about this recent wave where you have caught
- 38:34Speaker 1: this like virality and been able to monetize it.
- 38:37Speaker 2: Yeah, recently.
- 38:37Speaker 3: So I was doing Uber and shit, and then one day,
- 38:40Speaker 3: I remember, I worked twelve hours and then I made
- 38:44Speaker 3: like one hundred and seventy dollars damn. And then I
- 38:47Speaker 3: had to pay for gas and I had I had
- 38:49Speaker 3: a Mercedes truck, so I.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Spent very insufficient.
- 38:53Speaker 3: Yeah that's what I'm saying because I bought the car
- 38:56Speaker 3: and wasn't doing Uber and then I had to do it.
- 38:58Speaker 3: And then I spent like one hundred and twenty on gas,
- 39:02Speaker 3: and I was like, I made I profited fifty dollars
- 39:04Speaker 3: off twelve hours, and I was like, bro, I could
- 39:06Speaker 3: do anything and make fifty dollars literally anything.
- 39:08Speaker 2: I was like, I'm like, what am I doing?
- 39:11Speaker 3: And I just quit And then it was literally it
- 39:14Speaker 3: was my decision because I feel like you feel like
- 39:16Speaker 3: you have to do certain things because you think you
- 39:20Speaker 3: have to do it. I feel like you could do
- 39:21Speaker 3: whatever you want to do, and I feel like that
- 39:23Speaker 3: was like what I thought I had to do at
- 39:25Speaker 3: that moment, and then I decided it wasn't what I
- 39:27Speaker 3: had to do, and then after that my life changed.
- 39:30Speaker 1: We'll shait congrats on everything, man, Crazy Journey a new
- 39:35Speaker 1: single coming out in November. Yeah, I'm Up. It's called
- 39:38Speaker 1: I'm Up. That's gonna be the next one generation. Run
- 39:40Speaker 1: is the album that's out now. Yeah, and fall On
- 39:44Speaker 1: is the song that's going up on TikTok right now.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Tour just ended, tour just ended. Any more touring coming.
- 39:50Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm about to do another tour after this and
- 39:53Speaker 3: then my own solo tour.
- 39:55Speaker 1: Fire. Well, like if you could get fucking all these
- 39:58Speaker 1: people to just pull up, you get all these peop
- 40:00Speaker 1: going to buy a fucking ticket. I'm about to do
- 40:01Speaker 1: a college tour. That'd be fire.
- 40:04Speaker 3: I had a college show and they booked me for
- 40:07Speaker 3: it two days before the show, and we announced it
- 40:09Speaker 3: two days and it sold seven hundred tickets in two days.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Fire. What college was that?
- 40:14Speaker 2: It was a University of Illinois.
- 40:17Speaker 1: Orbana word up, shout out, man, We'll appreciate you for
- 40:21Speaker 1: pulling up Congrats on the success. Congrats on the free clothes. Thanks.
- 40:26Speaker 2: Yeah, because I don't buy clothes, that's good.
- 40:28Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I feel like I only buy vintage wrestling shirts.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Other than that, anything I have on it's real, it's
- 40:34Speaker 1: just free.
- 40:35Speaker 2: Yeah, locky only words stuff.
- 40:36Speaker 1: I got to my gout. Vingo from Tokyo gave me
- 40:38Speaker 1: this shirt free. You know, come on, shout out to Tokyo.
- 40:41Speaker 3: Shout out of SUBI. I got all this for free
- 40:43Speaker 3: except the boots. I bought those.
- 40:45Speaker 1: The Subie for free is a flex.
- 40:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:47Speaker 3: I bought this shirt because I was in New York
- 40:50Speaker 3: and I was at I ran out of clothes because
- 40:52Speaker 3: I never bring clothes when I go to New York
- 40:54Speaker 3: because I just go to Subie, right, And then I
- 40:56Speaker 3: ran out of shirts, So then I bought this.
- 40:59Speaker 1: I was getting manto in about it. Yeah, check out
- 41:03Speaker 1: the macha. Huh. People aren't drinking coffee no more.
- 41:07Speaker 2: It makes me too jittery.
- 41:08Speaker 1: And you know the thing about coffee is uh, it
- 41:11Speaker 1: also hits you in the stomach.
- 41:13Speaker 2: That too that I stopped drinking it because I got
- 41:15Speaker 2: like I would have like.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Panic attacks, panic attacks the problem. Yeah, that's why I
- 41:19Speaker 1: stopped drinking it. Yeah, you know, did you ever have
- 41:21Speaker 1: any drugs, like a drug run where you were doing
- 41:23Speaker 1: any drugs? Not for real, not anything like serious where
- 41:27Speaker 1: you were like ejected.
- 41:28Speaker 2: No, no, I was.
- 41:29Speaker 3: I played sports. I played out of full baseball scholarship.
- 41:33Speaker 3: I played baseball in college.
- 41:34Speaker 1: What was your position?
- 41:35Speaker 2: Second base? I played with Gavin Looks on the Dodgers.
- 41:41Speaker 1: If it ain't Kershaw, if it's not NFL or NBA. Uh,
- 41:48Speaker 1: he's a world He won World Series with what's his name,
- 41:51Speaker 1: Gavin Looks. You know that is you're a baseball fan.
- 41:55Speaker 3: Yeah, so I played with Gavin Looks. Who else do
- 41:57Speaker 3: I play with? I play with a lot of people
- 41:59Speaker 3: in the mind.
- 42:00Speaker 1: You went to the minor league.
- 42:02Speaker 2: I probably could have. I played on the USA team
- 42:05Speaker 2: when I was younger.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Oh that's fire. You were serious with the baseball. Yeah.
- 42:08Speaker 3: I had some workouts with the the through Kansas City
- 42:12Speaker 3: Royals and the Texas Rangers.
- 42:14Speaker 1: I mean, baseball's the one sport where there's no salary cap.
- 42:16Speaker 1: So if you can make it, they gonna pay the
- 42:18Speaker 1: fuck out of you. Yeah.
- 42:19Speaker 3: No, shout out Kevin co He's one of my old coaches.
- 42:23Speaker 3: He's like he's like an MLB scout. He posted me
- 42:27Speaker 3: yet two days ago he used to work for the
- 42:30Speaker 3: White Side, so I don't know who he works for now.
- 42:32Speaker 3: And he was like, y'all don't even know. He was
- 42:34Speaker 3: good at baseball too, and that's coming from like an
- 42:36Speaker 3: MLB scout.
- 42:37Speaker 1: Hey, we got to wrap up this interview, another one
- 42:39Speaker 1: presented by hard Dang, Baby, you already know what it is.

- 43:29Speaker 1: Weren't they good this year? No, they're horrible. The Cubs
- 43:32Speaker 1: were good. They were in the playoffs. Right, weren't the
- 43:34Speaker 1: Cubs in the playoffs? Yeah? I feel like recently the
- 43:37Speaker 1: coach Sam what was Ryan Sandberg, the guy who died
- 43:41Speaker 1: legendary cub.
- 43:42Speaker 3: I played with somebody on the coast to Ed Howard.
- 43:44Speaker 3: But I think he got injured and got Sam back down.
- 43:46Speaker 1: I think Sammy Sosa, Yeah, Sammy Frank big hurt Thomas.
- 43:50Speaker 1: He played for the White I know that. I'm just
- 43:52Speaker 1: throwing out Chicago players here. What was the other that's
- 43:56Speaker 1: the only white Sox player I know. Michael Jordan was
- 43:58Speaker 1: on the White Sox. Yeah he was. I'm a Michael
- 44:00Speaker 1: Jordan white size jersey. That's fire.
- 44:04Speaker 2: I got it as a kid.
- 44:05Speaker 1: And you don't have a fucking Derrick Rose white Sox jersey,
- 44:07Speaker 1: do you?
- 44:08Speaker 2: No?
- 44:09Speaker 3: Now, you're right? I mean you got me on that one.
- 44:12Speaker 3: I'm not me personally. I'm a Michael Jordan fan.
- 44:15Speaker 1: I was just thought the younger who's better, Michael or Lebron?
- 44:19Speaker 3: I mean Michael Jordan, Like I feel I don't, but
- 44:24Speaker 3: it's debatable because it's like it is it master debatable
- 44:27Speaker 3: because Lebron low.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Ki at this age to be that dominant saying. I
- 44:34Speaker 1: feel like if you compare, like, like what Lebron's doing
- 44:37Speaker 1: is like like no one's done it.
- 44:39Speaker 2: At his age.
- 44:39Speaker 3: Yeah, and for this long, like at his age and
- 44:42Speaker 3: still being one of the top players in the NBA,
- 44:44Speaker 3: that's crazy.
- 44:45Speaker 1: Yeah, And like you know that Wizard's ear was was
- 44:48Speaker 1: sneaky solid for Jordan, Yeah, but May the All Star
- 44:51Speaker 1: team almost pushed him into the playoffs.
- 44:53Speaker 3: But Lebron isn't sneaky. It's like highlights every game, like
- 44:56Speaker 3: he's like That's why I think.
- 44:57Speaker 1: I think Lebron like we've never seen And I also
- 45:00Speaker 1: think Lebron's level of competition is a lot higher. Yeah,
- 45:03Speaker 1: I could agree.
- 45:04Speaker 3: That's the same thing they say about baseball too, like
- 45:06Speaker 3: Babe Brew versus like Show Hal tany Oh, yeah, Show
- 45:09Speaker 3: he is a fucking we never seen anybody like Show
- 45:12Speaker 3: Hal Tony Listen.
- 45:13Speaker 1: I don't like baseball because I just think it's an
- 45:15Speaker 1: old fucking sport that is boring as shit. But the
- 45:19Speaker 1: fact this dude through six shutout endings, ten strikeouts and
- 45:23Speaker 1: hit three huree game three for three, it's not even
- 45:26Speaker 1: people doing that in high school. You know how hard insane?
- 45:28Speaker 2: Do you know how hard it is to even do
- 45:29Speaker 2: that in high school?
- 45:30Speaker 1: But that's insane to do.
- 45:31Speaker 3: That in high school or to do that in college,
- 45:33Speaker 3: but to do that even like, it's hard to do
- 45:36Speaker 3: that in travel ball when you're like thirteen.
- 45:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm from Arizona, so like I'm a default just
- 45:41Speaker 1: Diamondbacks fan when they're good. Yeah, you know, we got
- 45:43Speaker 1: Corbyn Carroll and what's the other dude, Martel Martin. But
- 45:49Speaker 1: who they used to have? It wasn't like Adam Dunn
- 45:51Speaker 1: or something. I don't know. We had fucking Randy Johnson.
- 45:57Speaker 1: Who was he?
- 45:58Speaker 2: He was on a different team too. At some point,
- 46:02Speaker 2: I'm thinking somebody else.
- 46:03Speaker 1: But but I fuck with the Dodgers with this, with
- 46:07Speaker 1: the with the fucking yo. I just went to Japan
- 46:10Speaker 1: and I was like, Yo, Tani was everywhere in Japan.
- 46:12Speaker 3: I mean, he's like, you want to say Michael Jordan,
- 46:15Speaker 3: Like he's like Michael Jordan and baseball right now for sure,
- 46:19Speaker 3: Like probably he's gonna be bigger than Michael Jordans.
- 46:23Speaker 1: I don't know if that's true in baseball. I don't
- 46:25Speaker 1: know if that's true.
- 46:27Speaker 3: Nobody to compare what he just did people, people are
- 46:30Speaker 3: not doing that. As a thirteen year.
- 46:31Speaker 1: Old, I get it, like I get it, But to
- 46:34Speaker 1: do that, you tell me when Otani got motherfucker's running
- 46:37Speaker 1: around with oy seven's on they do. It's New Balances.
- 46:41Speaker 1: Nobody wearing no fucking New Balance.
- 46:42Speaker 3: The New Balance cleats anybody else playing baseball. They're getting
- 46:46Speaker 3: the show. Heyltani and whatever he's wearing.
- 46:48Speaker 1: Like I'm saying, people were wearing the Ken Griffy Junior
- 46:50Speaker 1: nikes with their normally.
- 46:52Speaker 2: Outside the turf shoes.
- 46:55Speaker 1: Yeah, they got to put some Otani kicks out that
- 46:57Speaker 1: people could wear. When they do it, no, because they're
- 47:00Speaker 1: gonna just be like like people who wear Steph Curry's
- 47:02Speaker 1: fucking under armour shoes. You're be like, what the fuck
- 47:04Speaker 1: are we doing here? How the fuck would he sign
- 47:06Speaker 1: with New Balance?
- 47:07Speaker 2: I feel it, But the seven hundred million that they
- 47:10Speaker 2: offered him.
- 47:10Speaker 1: They already made back in one year. I saw Look,
- 47:13Speaker 1: I get it, Michael Jordan, Tokyo, Otani's fucking country. They
- 47:19Speaker 1: got a Tokyo twenty three store that's gigantic. It's literally
- 47:24Speaker 1: a one of one Jordan's store. It's only in Tokyo,
- 47:27Speaker 1: and they have their own line of clothes. In Otani's country,
- 47:30Speaker 1: they don't have a fucking Otani fucking store there.
- 47:32Speaker 2: But he's new.
- 47:33Speaker 1: They will. Maybe they are, I'm telling it. They are, like,
- 47:37Speaker 1: it's nobody's gonna be bigger than Jordan.
- 47:39Speaker 3: Well he just did that one game. You're probably we're
- 47:43Speaker 3: never gonna see that in our lifetime. I don't think
- 47:46Speaker 3: he might do it again. It less it's him, That's
- 47:48Speaker 3: what I'm saying.
- 47:49Speaker 1: Yeah, who else is good at baseball?
- 47:50Speaker 2: Because since.
- 47:53Speaker 1: Who always plays for shitty teams? Is? What's the fucking uh?
- 47:58Speaker 1: Is it the Trout? Mike Trail? What's the other guy?
- 48:03Speaker 1: But Trout's the guy who like was on the Angels.
- 48:06Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, Mike Trail is good.
- 48:08Speaker 1: Yeah, but like he never plays for any good teams.
- 48:10Speaker 2: Yeah it happens sometimes.
- 48:12Speaker 1: I mean it happened with Tony he was on the Angels. Yeah,
- 48:14Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying, but what he's doing is like
- 48:18Speaker 1: you see it, you're an expert in baseball, not me.
- 48:21Speaker 1: I mean maybe in baseball. You're right, But he's not
- 48:22Speaker 1: gonna be bigger than Jordan. That's funny.
- 48:24Speaker 3: Look, the only person they're comparing him to is Babe
- 48:26Speaker 3: Ruth and who's not bigger than Jordan. And do you
- 48:28Speaker 3: see how long ago that was? But he's not bigger
- 48:30Speaker 3: than But that's the last time they saw anything like
- 48:33Speaker 3: the out there.
- 48:35Speaker 1: But I'm Baby Ruth solid. He was playing against.
- 48:40Speaker 3: Construction workers, plumbers, Babe Ruth And this is the last
- 48:45Speaker 3: time somebody has I agree when it comes tos to
- 48:47Speaker 3: what he's doing, he's going to be that guy.
- 48:49Speaker 2: That's what that's like over a hundred years ago.
- 48:51Speaker 1: He won't be he won't be bigger than Michael Jordan's
- 48:54Speaker 1: in baseball. And of course Michael Jordan only played for
- 48:57Speaker 1: the Barons and the and the He actually played for
- 49:00Speaker 1: the Phoenix, uh Firebirds for a little bit and the
- 49:03Speaker 1: scott Stale Scorpions.
- 49:05Speaker 3: Who Michael Jordan. H oh yeah, So you're like a
- 49:07Speaker 3: deep Michael Jordan fan because those are like was it
- 49:10Speaker 3: like single a, Well, I'm from Arizona, so I remember
- 49:13Speaker 3: that independent ball it was single sing Yeah, but.
- 49:18Speaker 1: I remember we went to try to as a kid,
- 49:20Speaker 1: we try to like pull up and try to get
- 49:22Speaker 1: some ships autographed. Yeah, now I feel it. But in
- 49:27Speaker 1: like in terms of anybody that watches baseball, No, he's
- 49:29Speaker 1: gonna be the biggest ever on that. But baseball, yeah,
- 49:33Speaker 1: I don't think we're ever going to see any Baseball
- 49:35Speaker 1: is not that par like like baseball as a sport,
- 49:39Speaker 1: it's kind of cooked. It profited more than the NBA
- 49:42Speaker 1: last year. Yeah, but it's like it's still baseball. Yeah.
- 49:46Speaker 1: Have you been to a baseball game recently?
- 49:50Speaker 2: I haven't exactly.
- 49:53Speaker 1: Let me at you something random, random Saturday night. You
- 49:55Speaker 1: can go watch the Bulls play the Warriors, or you
- 49:57Speaker 1: can watch the White Sox play the Cincinnati Reds. Which
- 49:59Speaker 1: f tickets are you're taking.
- 50:01Speaker 3: I mean, if I'm going by myself, I might go
- 50:03Speaker 3: play baseball. But if you're taking somebody, they're not gonna
- 50:05Speaker 3: want to watch baseball.
- 50:06Speaker 1: Nobody wants to watch base unless you played it. I'll
- 50:09Speaker 1: agree on that. Yeah, Baseball's it's just so long and
- 50:13Speaker 1: there's one hundred and sixty.
- 50:14Speaker 3: I went to the World Series when they won in
- 50:16Speaker 3: two thousand and five the White Sox.
- 50:19Speaker 1: That's tight. I've never been to a World Series game.
- 50:22Speaker 2: Yeah, season tickets. They seen you the the.
- 50:26Speaker 1: World Series tickets every year. I didn't even know. Yeah,
- 50:28Speaker 1: you shot to the White Sox. I forgot. They won
- 50:29Speaker 1: a World Series two thousand and five. Jermain Die Diamondbacks.
- 50:35Speaker 1: He was the MVP.
- 50:35Speaker 2: Jermaine Die. Yeah, wy yur rebay Ti Hido Gucci.
- 50:41Speaker 1: No Japanese dudes could fucking play baseball though.
- 50:44Speaker 3: Yeah, I remember Tai Gucci because we had Ichiro Suzuki goat.
- 50:50Speaker 1: I bought a Tokyo Giants hat each year.
- 50:52Speaker 2: Let's talk about each year.
- 50:53Speaker 3: I saw I'm taking baden practice when they played the
- 50:56Speaker 3: White Sox and he was hitting only home runs a
- 51:00Speaker 3: whole bat in practice.
- 51:01Speaker 1: Damn Mariners, right, Yeah, she's got their heart broken yesterday.
- 51:06Speaker 3: Doesn't even coach for them now? Probably no Eachi bro
- 51:11Speaker 3: I saw him in a uniform like coaching. I think
- 51:12Speaker 3: he's like a hidden coacher.
- 51:13Speaker 1: Okay, let's leave this interview with one question. Should steroids
- 51:16Speaker 1: be allowed in baseball? So are we talking in terms
- 51:20Speaker 1: of entertainment or like peer like? Just like obviously they
- 51:24Speaker 1: should be allowed in baseball so people will watch again.
- 51:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean to make it entertaining. That will make
- 51:29Speaker 2: it very entertaining.
- 51:30Speaker 1: Do you remember how big Barry Bond's head used to be?
- 51:32Speaker 3: Yeah, but think about it. So okay, yeah, let's talk
- 51:35Speaker 3: about Barry Bonds. Yes, he should be in the Hall
- 51:37Speaker 3: of Fame. Of course, Barry Bonds to do what he did,
- 51:40Speaker 3: even on steroids, steroid shit, he still would be good.
- 51:44Speaker 1: He was.
- 51:44Speaker 2: He was hitting forty home runs. He was like fortyfore steroids,
- 51:48Speaker 2: the Pirates.
- 51:48Speaker 1: Like, and he was like skinny, and he had like
- 51:50Speaker 1: a normal size head. He was still amazing.
- 51:52Speaker 3: You're not You could give somebody steroids, they're not going
- 51:55Speaker 3: to be as good as Barry Bonds.
- 51:56Speaker 1: I agree, nobody you give him steroids. I don't know
- 52:01Speaker 1: what he would be doing. I just remember as a
- 52:04Speaker 1: kid caring about Mark maguire and Sammy Sosa.
- 52:07Speaker 3: Yeah that's because like those turn like pop flies to
- 52:12Speaker 3: home runs. So if they were him, like seventy home
- 52:14Speaker 3: runs a year.
- 52:15Speaker 1: Right, well listen man, Yeah, good baseball talk. Yeah, with
- 52:19Speaker 1: somebody who doesn't watch baseball, it is what it is.
- 52:24Speaker 1: Go Go Dodgers. Are you are you for the Dodgers
- 52:28Speaker 1: or for the I just kind of feel like, I mean.
- 52:30Speaker 2: I would I like show hey, so I want to
- 52:31Speaker 2: see him keep playing Let's go. Yeah.
- 52:34Speaker 1: I just feel like for the Kendrick Drake side of
- 52:36Speaker 1: the beef, I'm like, yeah, this is really the cherry
- 52:38Speaker 1: on top.
- 52:39Speaker 3: We were just in Toronto too while they were playing.
- 52:41Speaker 3: I keep like, I want to go to one of
- 52:43Speaker 3: these playoff games.
- 52:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean the Dodgers, Like Dodger Stadium is like
- 52:49Speaker 1: cool because it feels like it's a historical artifacts a
- 52:53Speaker 1: Yankee Stadium, but it was like the new Yankee Stadium.
- 52:55Speaker 1: Is Gavin still on the Dodgers, I don't know who
- 52:59Speaker 1: that is. They got Kershawtz his last year, right, did
- 53:04Speaker 1: you get traded? Bellinger is not on the Dodgers. Nam Right.
- 53:06Speaker 2: I was gonna say, I'm with the mo man asking
- 53:08Speaker 2: for two years.
- 53:08Speaker 1: Big Gavin. Yeah, we played together, give me anyway. We
- 53:14Speaker 1: got a wrapped. Appreciate you for pulling up brother, Thanks
- 53:17Speaker 1: for having me h
