- 0:00Speaker 1: A place where you're neither quite here nor there. God says,
- 0:03Speaker 1: worship me right there in a confusing place, in a
- 0:08Speaker 1: tumultuous place, in a chaotic place. He says, that's where
- 0:12Speaker 1: I want you to pitch your tent and worship me
- 0:15Speaker 1: right there. I'm not going to put my tent in
- 0:18Speaker 1: your promised land. I'm going to put my tent in
- 0:21Speaker 1: the middle of your problems because I want you to
- 0:25Speaker 1: worship me in the wilderness. So we started teaching last Sunday,
- 0:31Speaker 1: are there no graves in Egypt? In other words, the
- 0:34Speaker 1: people were trying to escape slavery. They were leaving Egypt saying,
- 0:38Speaker 1: are there no graves in Egypt? The moment they tried
- 0:40Speaker 1: to break away, now Pharaoh is chasing them. Fear made
- 0:44Speaker 1: them want to go back into Egypt. And to die
- 0:49Speaker 1: in Egypt was no more glamorous than to die in
- 0:52Speaker 1: the wilderness. Don't we ask God stupid questions? Are there
- 0:57Speaker 1: no graves in Egypt? Why can't we die in Egypt?
- 1:00Speaker 1: Dead is dead. If I'm going to talk to God
- 1:04Speaker 1: about something, I want to talk to God about something.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Can we move past choosing where we die? Watch this.
- 1:13Speaker 1: And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted
- 1:15Speaker 1: their eyes and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. This
- 1:18Speaker 1: is a bunch of people. Don't see this like you
- 1:20Speaker 1: saw the movie. This is 600 chosen chariots. This is,
- 1:25Speaker 1: Egypt is the superpower of the era. The Pharaoh is
- 1:29Speaker 1: known for his power and his authority and his ability.
- 1:33Speaker 1: If he said die, you die. If he said live,
- 1:35Speaker 1: you live. If he said behead her, she was beheaded.
- 1:38Speaker 1: If he has absolute rule, there is no Congress. There
- 1:40Speaker 1: is no legislature. There is no Supreme Court. There is
- 1:44Speaker 1: no defense attorneys. There are no prosecuting attorneys. There is
- 1:47Speaker 1: no recourse. There is no boycott. There is no picketing.
- 1:50Speaker 1: He is absolute. Monarchy in complete control. So they were
- 1:54Speaker 1: afraid and the children of Israel cried out to the
- 1:57Speaker 1: Lord who they had not talked to for 400 years.
- 2:03Speaker 1: And it's not just because they're derelict. Faith erodes when
- 2:07Speaker 1: you don't teach your children. These are the children of Abraham.
- 2:13Speaker 1: They started out on a solid foundation. But over 400
- 2:16Speaker 1: years of mixing more with the Egyptians than they did
- 2:20Speaker 1: with each other, their faith had deteriorated to the point
- 2:23Speaker 1: their language had deteriorated, their culture had deteriorated, their self-esteem
- 2:27Speaker 1: had deteriorated to the point that they had not had
- 2:30Speaker 1: a relationship with God for 400 years. And God was
- 2:34Speaker 1: intent on bringing them into relationship with him like he
- 2:38Speaker 1: is with you. God is intent on bringing you into
- 2:42Speaker 1: relationship with him then they said to Moses because there
- 2:45Speaker 1: were no graves in Egypt have you taken us away
- 2:48Speaker 1: to die in the wilderness those are my two choices
- 2:53Speaker 1: why have you so dealt with us to bring us
- 2:55Speaker 1: up out of Egypt Is this not the word that
- 2:58Speaker 1: we told you in Egypt saying, let us alone that
- 3:01Speaker 1: we may serve the Egyptians. Leave us alone in our chaos.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Leave us alone in our poverty. Leave us alone in
- 3:07Speaker 1: our shame. Leave us alone in our disgrace. Don't bother me.
- 3:10Speaker 1: I like being corrupt. I like being perverted. I like
- 3:14Speaker 1: being broken leave us alone that's what the world is
- 3:16Speaker 1: saying to the church today leave us alone leave us
- 3:18Speaker 1: alone we like it like this don't raise any opposing
- 3:22Speaker 1: opinion go along with us let us alone that we
- 3:25Speaker 1: may serve the Egyptians leave me in my bondage leave
- 3:28Speaker 1: me committing suicide leave me hating myself leave me slitting
- 3:32Speaker 1: my wrist leave me needing more therapy more and more
- 3:35Speaker 1: therapy taking more and more pills pills to go to
- 3:37Speaker 1: bed pills to get up in the morning pills to
- 3:39Speaker 1: get a smile on my face leave us alone That's
- 3:46Speaker 1: what they're saying to the church right now. Just shut
- 3:48Speaker 1: up and go along with the program. Leave us alone.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Don't say nothing about anything to anybody. Go with the flow.
- 3:55Speaker 1: You got to follow the culture. No, the culture's got
- 3:56Speaker 1: to follow the Christ. For it would have been better
- 4:03Speaker 1: for us to serve the Egyptians than that we should
- 4:06Speaker 1: die in the wilderness.
- 4:08Speaker 2: How?
- 4:11Speaker 1: And Moses said to the people, Do not be afraid.
- 4:14Speaker 1: In other words, your emotions are talking. If you let
- 4:20Speaker 1: your emotions talk, it will destroy you. It will kill
- 4:23Speaker 1: your marriage. It will kill your children. It will kill
- 4:26Speaker 1: your promotion. It will kill your advancement. All you got
- 4:29Speaker 1: to do is let your emotions get the mic and
- 4:31Speaker 1: it will tear down everything God is trying to do
- 4:34Speaker 1: in your life. I'm already preaching. I'm just reading the scripture.
- 4:38Speaker 1: He says, do not be afraid. Stand still. Stand still.
- 4:50Speaker 1: You're too busy. Stand still. You talk too much. Stand still.
- 4:56Speaker 1: You got too much opinion. Stand still and see the
- 5:02Speaker 1: salvation of the Lord, which he will accomplish for you today.
- 5:07Speaker 1: For the Egyptians, whom you see today, They're not in
- 5:12Speaker 1: your future. They're in your present, but they're not in
- 5:16Speaker 1: your future. They're in your past, but they're not in
- 5:19Speaker 1: your future. I'm preaching already. I don't know what's in
- 5:21Speaker 1: your present and in your past that God says, I'm
- 5:23Speaker 1: going to totally annihilate it out of your future. You
- 5:26Speaker 1: shall see again.
- 5:28Speaker 3: No more forever.
- 5:36Speaker 1: The Lord will fight for you. And you shall hold
- 5:44Speaker 1: your peace. Stop calling people. Stop finagling. Stop manipulating. Stop
- 5:51Speaker 1: trying to dominate and control everybody. The Lord will fight
- 5:54Speaker 1: for you. And you will study to be quiet. To
- 5:57Speaker 1: shut up. Get your emotions away from the mic and
- 6:01Speaker 1: shut up. Stop screaming. Stop popping your neck. Stop going
- 6:05Speaker 1: off on people. It ain't working. Well, I'm just like you,
- 6:08Speaker 1: my mama. It didn't work for her. I'm just like
- 6:12Speaker 1: my daddy. It didn't work for him. Still faith. Quiet faith.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Faith is not always loud. It's resolute. It's not always rambunctious.
- 6:28Speaker 1: It doesn't always sport muscles. It's quiet power. It still arrives.
- 6:37Speaker 1: So what I'm going to talk to you today It's
- 6:41Speaker 1: my second deposit on the series Worship in the Wilderness.
- 6:47Speaker 1: I want you to look at somebody and you're going
- 6:48Speaker 1: to give them the title. Announce my title to them. Say,
- 6:51Speaker 1: we will not die here. That's our decision. That's our affirmation.
- 7:07Speaker 1: That's our declaration. Tell them again. We will not die here.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Father God, in the name of Jesus, we thank you
- 7:15Speaker 1: for your presence and your glory and your grace. We
- 7:17Speaker 1: thank you for all things worked after the counsel of
- 7:20Speaker 1: your own will. We thank you that our emotions are
- 7:23Speaker 1: not necessarily our reality. And how we feel about it
- 7:26Speaker 1: doesn't make it so. We thank you that as people
- 7:29Speaker 1: of faith, we are learning to walk. in the truth
- 7:32Speaker 1: of your word, and to believe what you said over
- 7:34Speaker 1: how we feel about any particular given moment. We seek
- 7:38Speaker 1: your face. We crave you. We long for you. We
- 7:41Speaker 1: need you like a junkie needs a fix. We need
- 7:44Speaker 1: you like a flower needs a raindrop. We need you
- 7:47Speaker 1: like an ocean needs water. We need you like tear
- 7:51Speaker 1: ducts need salt. Father, in the name of Jesus, we
- 7:53Speaker 1: cannot exist without you as a deer paneth at the
- 7:56Speaker 1: water brook. So pant I unto thee, O God, feed
- 8:00Speaker 1: us until we want no more. I rebuke every spirit
- 8:03Speaker 1: of fear that has plagued us, that's made us restless
- 8:06Speaker 1: and tormented us and kept away our sleep and made
- 8:09Speaker 1: us miserable in our own bodies and made us forget
- 8:12Speaker 1: that we are healthy and made us forget that we
- 8:14Speaker 1: are mobile and made us forget that we had a
- 8:16Speaker 1: roof over our head. Because we're so afraid by the
- 8:19Speaker 1: threatening sound of what could be, what might be, what's
- 8:23Speaker 1: coming up behind us. I rebuke the spirit of death
- 8:25Speaker 1: and suicide and agony and pain and strife. And I
- 8:29Speaker 1: command you to let God's people go. In Jesus' name
- 8:33Speaker 1: we pray. Somebody shout amen. On your way down to
- 8:37Speaker 1: your seat say we will not die here. Now I
- 8:42Speaker 1: want to preface this because I want you to understand
- 8:45Speaker 1: something about God. Can I teach you some things about God?
- 8:50Speaker 1: God is eternal. Eternity transcends time. So we are creatures
- 9:00Speaker 1: of time, hence we have birth dates. Because time determines
- 9:05Speaker 1: our awareness. God is preexistent of time. That's why in
- 9:12Speaker 1: the book of Genesis, it says in the beginning, God. See,
- 9:18Speaker 1: it doesn't tell you the beginning of God. Because God
- 9:24Speaker 1: has no beginning. And he has no ending. From everlasting
- 9:32Speaker 1: to everlasting, thou art God. So I want you to
- 9:37Speaker 1: understand that so that you can understand that time limits
- 9:41Speaker 1: your perspective. I think differently at this age than I
- 9:45Speaker 1: did 10 years ago. I think differently at 50 than
- 9:49Speaker 1: I did at 40. I think differently at 40 than
- 9:52Speaker 1: I did at 20 because time allows me to increase
- 9:57Speaker 1: in experience and ability and understanding. So it's not good
- 10:02Speaker 1: to make permanent decisions with temporary information. I'm going to
- 10:11Speaker 1: say that again for the people in the back. Some
- 10:13Speaker 1: of you are making permanent decisions with With temporary information.
- 10:19Speaker 1: How you feel about it now may not be how
- 10:21Speaker 1: you feel about it in 20 years. Look at the
- 10:25Speaker 1: people who got tattoos. I love you so much I
- 10:31Speaker 1: want to write your name on my chest. Now you
- 10:34Speaker 1: can't stand her. You haven't seen her in five years.
- 10:41Speaker 1: You're dating somebody else, got married to them, and got
- 10:44Speaker 1: a baby. Now you're trying to get somebody to burn
- 10:47Speaker 1: her name. Permanent decisions over temporary situations. When I went
- 10:57Speaker 1: to school, Pluto was a planet. It was nine planets
- 11:03Speaker 1: and Pluto was the last one. Then I picked up
- 11:07Speaker 1: the paper one day, they decided it wasn't a planet.
- 11:08Speaker 1: It wasn't a planet. We don't know everything. Your doctor
- 11:13Speaker 1: doesn't know everything. Your pastor doesn't know everything. Your mama
- 11:17Speaker 1: doesn't know everything. Your daddy doesn't know everything. And you
- 11:20Speaker 1: don't know. So God has an eternal plan that works
- 11:31Speaker 1: itself out in time. Why am I starting there? Because
- 11:35Speaker 1: I want you to understand that God is not making
- 11:38Speaker 1: this thing up as he goes. He's not saying, oh
- 11:42Speaker 1: my God, Pharaoh's coming. What are we going to do?
- 11:44Speaker 1: Lord God, I didn't know Pharaoh was going to come.
- 11:50Speaker 1: God knew the end from the beginning. In fact, God
- 11:54Speaker 1: had prophesied to Abram that this was going to happen
- 11:57Speaker 1: before Moses' mama got pregnant. God had already planned their
- 12:01Speaker 1: escape before they ever went into Egypt. He told Abram
- 12:05Speaker 1: that your people are going to sojourn in Egypt for
- 12:08Speaker 1: 400 years and afterwards they're going to come out with
- 12:10Speaker 1: great substance. And Moses wasn't even born yet. Jacob wasn't
- 12:16Speaker 1: even born yet. Joseph wasn't even born yet. God had
- 12:19Speaker 1: the future figured out before the characters ever came on
- 12:22Speaker 1: the stage. And there you are thinking that you are
- 12:25Speaker 1: conspiring with God to plan the future. Your future was
- 12:29Speaker 1: already planned before you got here. It was already set
- 12:32Speaker 1: in motion. And you might be shocked at what happened,
- 12:35Speaker 1: but God is not shocked. what's going on in your
- 12:38Speaker 1: life God already knows everything that's going to happen in
- 12:41Speaker 1: your life and he made a way of escape before
- 12:43Speaker 1: you ever ran into the problem so when God gets
- 12:47Speaker 1: ready to bring you out no devil no witch no
- 12:50Speaker 1: hex no soothsayer no weakness no dumb decision you made
- 12:56Speaker 1: can stop the hand of God so stand still If
- 13:06Speaker 1: God started it, God is going to finish it. And
- 13:10Speaker 1: he's planning, we know for sure he's planning at least
- 13:14Speaker 1: 400 years in advance. At the bare minimum of this text,
- 13:19Speaker 1: we know that God is thinking 400 years ahead. And
- 13:23Speaker 1: you don't even know what you're going to wear to
- 13:24Speaker 1: work tomorrow. The truth of the matter is, because the
- 13:30Speaker 1: book of Revelation says that the Lamb was slain from
- 13:33Speaker 1: the foundation of the world, God sticks all the way,
- 13:36Speaker 1: millenniums ahead. He is sovereign. Sovereigns. He is absolute. There
- 13:46Speaker 1: is no one above him. He is God all by himself.
- 13:52Speaker 1: He said, I looked for someone to swear by that
- 13:54Speaker 1: was greater than myself and finding no one greater than myself,
- 13:57Speaker 1: I had to swear by myself because ain't nobody better
- 14:00Speaker 1: than me. Ain't nobody better than me. Ain't nobody greater
- 14:03Speaker 1: than me. Ain't nobody stronger than me. Ain't nobody smarter
- 14:06Speaker 1: than me. Your artificial intelligence is just that. Artificial intelligence.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I am absolute intelligence. I am the all-knowing, all-seeing, all-wise God.
- 14:18Speaker 1: So play with your toys and play with your gadgets
- 14:20Speaker 1: and Ask them all the questions you want, but I'm
- 14:22Speaker 1: the one with the answer. And I want you to
- 14:30Speaker 1: have an experience with me. So I determined that Moses
- 14:34Speaker 1: would be born. And I determined that Moses, whose name
- 14:37Speaker 1: means drawn out, would be born a Hebrew, by a
- 14:40Speaker 1: Hebrew slave. And I determined that in spite of Pharaoh,
- 14:45Speaker 1: who was supposed to be the absolute power, that Moses
- 14:48Speaker 1: would not see death. So he escaped. He beat the odds.
- 14:53Speaker 1: I want to talk to some people for just a
- 14:55Speaker 1: second in this room whose mama had a story about
- 14:58Speaker 1: your birth. If your mama had a story about your
- 15:03Speaker 1: birth and you know you were a miracle baby, stand
- 15:05Speaker 1: up on your feet. then you ought to understand the
- 15:09Speaker 1: power of this text. You're looking at a miracle. Your
- 15:12Speaker 1: birth was a miracle. Your start was a miracle. If
- 15:15Speaker 1: you started out, you didn't have no Bible, you didn't
- 15:17Speaker 1: have no prayer life, you didn't speak in tongues, and
- 15:19Speaker 1: yet God let you be here today. If God protected
- 15:23Speaker 1: you before you had a mouth, how much more ought
- 15:25Speaker 1: God to be able to protect you right now? Who
- 15:28Speaker 1: am I talking to? I want to see some miracle babies.
- 15:30Speaker 1: I want to see some babies that escaped free of death.
- 15:33Speaker 1: I want to see some babies that should have been
- 15:35Speaker 1: a stillborn. I want to see some babies that the
- 15:37Speaker 1: doctors were shocked that you made it. But when God
- 15:40Speaker 1: wills you to be into existence, you are here. You
- 15:43Speaker 1: ought to shout the place down. You are here. You
- 15:46Speaker 1: are here. Whether you got a car or not, whether
- 15:48Speaker 1: you got a house or not, whether you got a
- 15:50Speaker 1: boyfriend or not, whether you got a wife or not,
- 15:52Speaker 1: whether your kids like you or not, your breath is
- 15:55Speaker 1: a miracle. Let me stop. It's too early for me
- 16:01Speaker 1: to go off. I feel like going off right there.
- 16:05Speaker 1: All the miracle babies touch somebody and say, don't make
- 16:07Speaker 1: me go off. I'm a miracle baby. You ought to
- 16:11Speaker 1: get a t-shirt and wear it and say, I'm a
- 16:13Speaker 1: miracle baby. I don't care if you're 103 years old.
- 16:16Speaker 1: You ought to wear the t-shirt and say, I'm a
- 16:17Speaker 1: miracle baby. I'm a miracle. My life started as a miracle.
- 16:21Speaker 1: I got here by a miracle. God willed me to
- 16:23Speaker 1: be here. So ain't no need of you rolling your
- 16:25Speaker 1: eyes and hating me because you're rolling your eyes ain't
- 16:28Speaker 1: going to make me go back. If I came through
- 16:30Speaker 1: and survived all of that, ain't no way you can
- 16:32Speaker 1: kill me with a tweet. The devil is alive. I'm
- 16:35Speaker 1: a miracle baby. Moses was a miracle baby. I got
- 16:39Speaker 1: to hear it. Moses was a miracle baby because God
- 16:43Speaker 1: purposed him to be. He purposed him to be. He
- 16:48Speaker 1: purposed him to be born in the house that he
- 16:49Speaker 1: was born in, to the mother he was born to,
- 16:52Speaker 1: at the time he was born, in the situation he
- 16:55Speaker 1: was born, in the middle of chaos and confusion. God
- 16:58Speaker 1: purposed his mother to hide him for three months in
- 17:02Speaker 1: a tent. a slave woman a little raggedy hut how
- 17:06Speaker 1: do you hide a baby in a hut from a
- 17:09Speaker 1: trained experienced soldier but when God gets ready to hide
- 17:12Speaker 1: you he'll hide you he'll hide your greatness he'll hide
- 17:15Speaker 1: your anointing he'll hide your gift he'll hide your talent
- 17:18Speaker 1: sometimes God didn't mean for you to be exposed he
- 17:20Speaker 1: didn't mean for you to get the job he didn't
- 17:22Speaker 1: mean for them to recognize you had they recognized you
- 17:24Speaker 1: they would have killed you so stop crying about who
- 17:27Speaker 1: didn't recognize your gift God hid your gift to protect
- 17:30Speaker 1: you So God puts him in the ark and lets
- 17:42Speaker 1: him float down the Nile. You know the story. And
- 17:44Speaker 1: he lands in the arms of Pharaoh's daughter. And he's
- 17:47Speaker 1: raised in the house of his enemies. Because for what
- 17:52Speaker 1: God is going to do in his life, he cannot
- 17:54Speaker 1: think like a slave. You see the liberation of the Hebrews,
- 18:01Speaker 1: they went in a family, but they came out a nation.
- 18:05Speaker 1: So Moses is designed to lead a nation. And if
- 18:09Speaker 1: you are called to lead a nation, you have to
- 18:12Speaker 1: hang around with people who lead nations. Because you can't
- 18:16Speaker 1: think like somebody who's running a fast food restaurant and
- 18:21Speaker 1: run a nation. So Moses got to be in the
- 18:28Speaker 1: room with national thought. With leadership skills. Where decisions were made,
- 18:36Speaker 1: not obeyed, made. He was born and obeyed. He was
- 18:41Speaker 1: raised and made. There are little clues that happen in
- 18:49Speaker 1: your life, all your life, that give you glimpses of
- 18:52Speaker 1: where you are to be in life. Because God doesn't
- 18:56Speaker 1: make it up as he goes. He planned it from
- 18:59Speaker 1: the beginning. So he's already making deposits on your destiny
- 19:03Speaker 1: while you're trying to figure out who you are and
- 19:05Speaker 1: where you are. This is a fight between nations. Like
- 19:12Speaker 1: Russia and Ukraine. It's a fight between nations. It's not
- 19:17Speaker 1: just a fight between slaves and masters. It's a fight
- 19:20Speaker 1: between nations. The Hebrews left Egypt as a nation. And
- 19:27Speaker 1: Pharaoh was intimidated by them because they were a nation.
- 19:30Speaker 1: But they thought like slaves. Are you hearing what I'm saying?
- 19:38Speaker 1: So when we start talking about this text today, God
- 19:41Speaker 1: has spared no expense in their liberation. I want this
- 19:45Speaker 1: to sink in. Now I'm getting into where I want
- 19:47Speaker 1: to be. God has spared no expense on their liberation.
- 19:52Speaker 1: he doesn't use nuclear war he doesn't use the techniques
- 19:59Speaker 1: of our times but he uses unique devices to cause
- 20:04Speaker 1: them to prevail first he says to Moses go down
- 20:07Speaker 1: there and tell Pharaoh That I said let my people go.
- 20:13Speaker 1: But before you go tell him. Practice in the wilderness.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Oh gosh. I don't have time. I can't do this Lord.
- 20:26Speaker 1: I can't do this. My mother used to walk up
- 20:29Speaker 1: on me in the basement of my house. Preaching. Wasn't
- 20:33Speaker 1: nobody down there. I just wonder, you can't tell me
- 20:36Speaker 1: that the God I serve... And she'd come down the
- 20:40Speaker 1: stairs and look at me like, who you talking to? Nothing, mama.
- 20:46Speaker 1: God's got somebody practicing for what you're going to do
- 20:49Speaker 1: in life. Don't hate rehearsal. And love performance. Because performance
- 21:01Speaker 1: without rehearsal will always lead to failure. Are you hearing
- 21:06Speaker 1: what I'm saying to you? So Moses is out in
- 21:08Speaker 1: the wilderness practicing his stuff before nobody. Nobody's out there.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Nobody cares. Moses is in the middle of the wilderness.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Nobody's looking at him. Nobody's clapping for him. Nothing. He's
- 21:19Speaker 1: just sticking his hand in his clothes and coming out
- 21:22Speaker 1: with leprosy. He's taking it back in. It's coming out whole.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Pouring out water. It's turning into blood. And he's just
- 21:30Speaker 1: going through his stuff. Throwing down his rod. It turns
- 21:32Speaker 1: into a snake. Doing stupid stuff. Makes no sense because
- 21:38Speaker 1: Moses is in time. And when you're looking at your
- 21:43Speaker 1: situation in time, it makes no sense. But from eternity,
- 21:48Speaker 1: it looks like rehearsal. It looks like preparatory school. It
- 21:52Speaker 1: looks like I'm getting ready to do something amazing in
- 21:54Speaker 1: your life. And I want you to have the confidence
- 21:56Speaker 1: in your craft so that I can bring you before
- 21:59Speaker 1: great men and you won't faint on the stage. So
- 22:08Speaker 1: act one, Moses goes down there with Aaron who he
- 22:11Speaker 1: didn't need, but he thought he needed because you can
- 22:13Speaker 1: be great and still be insecure. God, I'm preaching so
- 22:17Speaker 1: good this morning. You can be great and still be insecure.
- 22:20Speaker 1: You can be strong and mighty and still doubt yourself.
- 22:23Speaker 1: You can perform miracles and still stutter. And sometimes people
- 22:29Speaker 1: see your greatness, but they don't see your stutter. And
- 22:32Speaker 1: I'm glad that God is not just a God of
- 22:34Speaker 1: my greatness, but also the God of my weakness. Amen.
- 22:39Speaker 1: He's not just a God of my victory. He's a
- 22:40Speaker 1: God of my failure. He's not just a God of
- 22:43Speaker 1: my mountain. He's a God of my valley. And I
- 22:45Speaker 1: can be just as honest with him when my stick
- 22:47Speaker 1: turns into a snake as I can when my speaking
- 22:51Speaker 1: turns into a stutter. I can bring both things before
- 22:55Speaker 1: him at the same time because one does not contradict
- 22:57Speaker 1: the other. All things are open before him with whom
- 23:01Speaker 1: we have to do. All things. And just because you
- 23:05Speaker 1: stutter doesn't mean God won't use you. And just because
- 23:08Speaker 1: you made a mistake doesn't mean God doesn't have a
- 23:10Speaker 1: plan for your life. And just because you're going through
- 23:12Speaker 1: a bad time right now doesn't mean that you don't
- 23:13Speaker 1: have a great ending. And just because you went backwards
- 23:16Speaker 1: don't mean you won't go forward. And just because you're
- 23:19Speaker 1: in a down setting moment doesn't mean you're not about
- 23:21Speaker 1: to stand up on your feet like you never stood
- 23:23Speaker 1: in your life before. I'm talking to somebody and I
- 23:26Speaker 1: don't know who it is. And if you're watching online
- 23:29Speaker 1: and you know somebody who needs to hear this, text
- 23:31Speaker 1: them right quick and tell them to log on right
- 23:33Speaker 1: now because God has given me a message that they
- 23:36Speaker 1: cannot afford to miss. You're frustrated because you're not getting paid.
- 23:40Speaker 1: This is practice. We don't pay you for practice. We
- 23:44Speaker 1: pay you for a performance. That's where practice pays off
- 23:49Speaker 1: is in the moment of performance. So don't despise the
- 23:51Speaker 1: day of small beginnings. I preached in the woods. I
- 23:54Speaker 1: preached in the shower. I preached in the basement. I
- 23:57Speaker 1: preached to animals. I preached to crickets. I preached to
- 23:59Speaker 1: roaches before God gave me people. Don't despise the day
- 24:02Speaker 1: of small beginning. You don't get paid in the practice.
- 24:05Speaker 1: You get paid for the performance. My first business deal
- 24:15Speaker 1: was to take walnut hulls and boil them and turn
- 24:18Speaker 1: it into dye and sell it in mason jars for
- 24:21Speaker 1: a quarter. I was eight. I know they didn't need
- 24:25Speaker 1: that purple dye. They just bought it because it was nice.
- 24:30Speaker 1: And then mama grew greens in the garden. I sold
- 24:32Speaker 1: them in brown paper bags for a dollar, from a
- 24:34Speaker 1: quarter to a dollar, and gave a receipt. And I
- 24:38Speaker 1: gave a receipt. They were talking about me and my
- 24:40Speaker 1: brother's civics class. Because an eight-year-old was doing business. Whatever's
- 24:47Speaker 1: in you, God, lets you practice. That's why you got
- 24:51Speaker 1: to watch your kids. Because their prophecies and their habits
- 24:56Speaker 1: and their details and the little stuff they do and
- 24:58Speaker 1: the little things that sometimes get on your nerves, they're
- 25:00Speaker 1: little glimpses of what's going to be in their life.
- 25:06Speaker 1: You don't become Michael Irvin when you join the Cowboys.
- 25:08Speaker 1: You become Michael Irvin when you're backed up in the
- 25:11Speaker 1: Carolina somewhere where nobody knows your name and nobody cares
- 25:14Speaker 1: about your name and nobody's thinking about you. It is
- 25:16Speaker 1: not about what they think about your name. It is
- 25:19Speaker 1: about your diligence and going after what God has for you.
- 25:22Speaker 1: I got to move on. And so he says, go
- 25:26Speaker 1: down and tell Pharaoh. I said, let my people go. Well,
- 25:29Speaker 1: Moses has the power to walk into Pharaoh's house because
- 25:31Speaker 1: he was raised in Pharaoh's house. So he walks up
- 25:34Speaker 1: to Pharaoh's house and says, God said, let my people go.
- 25:40Speaker 1: And Pharaoh thinks he's a god. Because in his life,
- 25:48Speaker 1: he is a god. He serves a god, a deity.
- 25:53Speaker 1: But he has so much power, he's drunk off of himself.
- 25:57Speaker 1: If you're not careful, success will make you drunk off
- 25:59Speaker 1: of yourself.
- 26:00Speaker 3: Amen.
- 26:01Speaker 1: And nobody can tell you that you're not a God
- 26:04Speaker 1: and nobody can tell the king that he has no
- 26:06Speaker 1: clothes because if everybody you surround yourself with is on
- 26:10Speaker 1: your payroll, you can't be sure you're getting the truth.
- 26:17Speaker 1: I don't know who that's for, but it's for somebody.
- 26:20Speaker 1: So let me show you the scripture right quick because
- 26:22Speaker 1: I got to make some ground. Are y'all enjoying this?
- 26:27Speaker 1: So I'm going to Exodus 7, 8 through 12. I
- 26:29Speaker 1: want you to see what happened in the palace. And
- 26:32Speaker 1: the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying, When
- 26:35Speaker 1: Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Show a miracle for you,
- 26:39Speaker 1: then thou shalt say unto Aaron, That's when you're going
- 26:42Speaker 1: to find out why you've been practicing out in the desert.
- 26:44Speaker 1: When I put you on stage, that's when I'm going
- 26:46Speaker 1: to activate the things you've been rehearsing. Take thy rod
- 26:49Speaker 1: and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent.
- 26:54Speaker 1: And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh and they
- 26:56Speaker 1: did so as the Lord had commanded. And Aaron cast
- 26:59Speaker 1: down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants and
- 27:04Speaker 1: it became a serpent. Pay attention to that. The rod
- 27:10Speaker 1: became a serpent. That's going to have power all through
- 27:14Speaker 1: the Bible. The rod became a serpent. This is not
- 27:16Speaker 1: just a moment. This is a glimpse. Then Pharaoh also
- 27:21Speaker 1: called the wise men and the sorcerers. Pharaoh said, I
- 27:24Speaker 1: ain't nothing. I can do that too. So he called
- 27:26Speaker 1: his wise men, his magicians, his sorcerers, and now the
- 27:28Speaker 1: magicians of Egypt. They also did in like manner with
- 27:33Speaker 1: their enchantments. That's why you got to be careful of
- 27:36Speaker 1: Christians who follow miracles. Because Satan does tricks too. Somebody
- 27:49Speaker 1: in here's mama's name is Helen. Somebody in here, you
- 27:53Speaker 1: dropped out of school in the seventh grade. You got
- 27:54Speaker 1: to be careful about following people over this fanatical kind
- 27:58Speaker 1: of stuff. You got to be rooted on a solid foundation,
- 28:00Speaker 1: on the word of God, on the truth, on the
- 28:03Speaker 1: spirit of God, on the presence of God, and not
- 28:05Speaker 1: on what you see with your eye. Because Pharaoh said
- 28:07Speaker 1: that ain't nothing. Them tricks you've been practicing, we do
- 28:10Speaker 1: that too. So Pharaoh called for his magicians and they
- 28:14Speaker 1: cast down every man his rod and they became serpents.
- 28:18Speaker 1: But Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods. Do you hear that?
- 28:28Speaker 1: Do you hear that? They had more serpents. Aaron only
- 28:32Speaker 1: had one rod that became a serpent, but it was
- 28:35Speaker 1: stronger than all of the serpents put together and it
- 28:38Speaker 1: ate up his rods. And look at this. I want
- 28:40Speaker 1: to spend a minute talking about sticks and snakes. Sticks
- 28:44Speaker 1: and snakes, sticks and snakes. This is powerful. We often
- 28:47Speaker 1: overlook the relationship between the stick and the snake. The
- 28:51Speaker 1: stick became a snake. It was a stick in his hand,
- 28:54Speaker 1: but when he cast it down, it became a snake.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Sticks and snakes. was on his way to Rome, the
- 29:00Speaker 1: Bible said that while he was gathering sticks, that a
- 29:04Speaker 1: snake came out. There's something down between the stick and
- 29:08Speaker 1: the snake, the stick and the snake, the stick and
- 29:11Speaker 1: the snake, the stick and the snake. Thy rod comforteth me.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me. There's something
- 29:18Speaker 1: between the stick and the snake that makes no accident
- 29:22Speaker 1: that the snake was a stick. And the one that
- 29:26Speaker 1: was a stick and became a snake devoured all the
- 29:29Speaker 1: snakes of the magicians. This is Calvary. You don't see
- 29:38Speaker 1: it yet. The Bible says. that Christ carried a cross
- 29:41Speaker 1: up the hill. That's the sticks. And he carries it
- 29:45Speaker 1: up the hill, that's the stick. But when he got
- 29:48Speaker 1: on the stick, he became a snake for us. The Bible,
- 29:52Speaker 1: let me put it in biblical language, he became sin
- 29:54Speaker 1: who knew no sin, that we might be the righteousness
- 29:57Speaker 1: of God. And by him becoming that, when he lifted up,
- 30:01Speaker 1: he said, if I be lifted up from the earth,
- 30:03Speaker 1: if you... If you cast me out, I'll turn into
- 30:05Speaker 1: the cure for the venom that bit you in the
- 30:09Speaker 1: first place. So it was snake to snake. And Satan said,
- 30:12Speaker 1: I hexed, I cast spell, I sent curses. But when
- 30:15Speaker 1: Jesus went to the cross, the Bible said he bore
- 30:18Speaker 1: every curse. That was ever against us. Every hex. Every
- 30:21Speaker 1: spell that was ever against us. That was that one
- 30:23Speaker 1: snake eating up all them other snakes. He devoured every
- 30:26Speaker 1: last one of them. This is the first glimpse that
- 30:29Speaker 1: we see. Between the stick and the snake. Jesus could
- 30:32Speaker 1: have died on the whipping post. But it wouldn't have
- 30:34Speaker 1: exemplified the stick and the snake. They could have beat
- 30:37Speaker 1: him to death. They could have thrust him through with
- 30:39Speaker 1: a sword. But in order to fulfill the draw and out.
- 30:42Speaker 1: That Moses was going to do. And to establish the
- 30:45Speaker 1: New Testament church. There had to be an association between
- 30:48Speaker 1: the stick and the snake. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Jesus didn't just die as the lamb of God. He
- 30:56Speaker 1: became sin for us. He became the cure from the
- 31:00Speaker 1: venom of sin that the first man, Adam, partook of.
- 31:04Speaker 1: He is the stick that became a snake. He became
- 31:09Speaker 1: sin for us that we might be the righteousness of God.
- 31:13Speaker 1: So I don't care who hex you. I don't care
- 31:15Speaker 1: who got a piece of your hair I don't care
- 31:17Speaker 1: who worked roots on you I don't care what they
- 31:19Speaker 1: said about you no weapon formed against you shall be
- 31:23Speaker 1: able to prosper because God said I'll eat it up
- 31:26Speaker 1: I'll eat up what they said about you I'll eat
- 31:36Speaker 1: up what they did to you. I'll eat up the
- 31:39Speaker 1: spell they cast on your mama. I'll eat up every
- 31:41Speaker 1: generational curse. You're going to be the first one of
- 31:44Speaker 1: your generation that's going to break the curse. God said,
- 31:47Speaker 1: I'm going to eat it up. It got your mama.
- 31:49Speaker 1: It got your auntie. It got your uncle. It got
- 31:51Speaker 1: your grandfather. It got your great uncle, but it's not
- 31:53Speaker 1: going to get you. Everybody who's breaking a generational curse,
- 31:57Speaker 1: give him 30 seconds of crazy. You're watching on TV,
- 32:07Speaker 1: type it on the line. Eat it up, Jesus. Eat
- 32:10Speaker 1: it up, Jesus. Eat it up, Jesus. They menace for evil,
- 32:14Speaker 1: but eat it up, Jesus. Eat it up, eat it up,
- 32:16Speaker 1: eat it up, eat it up. Yeah. Yeah.
- 32:40Speaker 3: One snake ate up all the snakes of all the
- 32:43Speaker 3: magicians and all the curses and all the spells.
- 32:45Speaker 1: I got to get off it, but slap the name
- 32:47Speaker 1: and say one. You only need one, just one, just one,
- 32:51Speaker 1: just one, just one, just one, just one. If you
- 32:53Speaker 1: got one rod, it's more than all the rods that
- 32:56Speaker 1: have been beating you down. If you got one snake,
- 32:58Speaker 1: it'll eat up every snake that came up against you.
- 33:01Speaker 1: If you got one praise, it'll break a yoke that
- 33:04Speaker 1: come against your life. That's why the Bible said, bring
- 33:06Speaker 1: you all the tithes and offerings into the storehouse that
- 33:09Speaker 1: there might be meat in my house. And prove me
- 33:11Speaker 1: now herewith, if I will not open up the windows
- 33:14Speaker 1: or the floodgates of heaven and pull you out. Watch this.
- 33:18Speaker 1: One blessing. You won't have room enough to receive. God said,
- 33:21Speaker 1: I'm going to give you one thing that's going to
- 33:23Speaker 1: fix everything that messed up anything that was happening in
- 33:26Speaker 1: your life. You only need one thing. You know, one
- 33:28Speaker 1: thing have I desired of the Lord. That will I
- 33:31Speaker 1: seek out. You better get up off me. I feel
- 33:37Speaker 1: something on me. I feel something on me. You better
- 33:39Speaker 1: get up. You've been asking for too much stuff. You
- 33:46Speaker 1: just need one thing. You just need to be one
- 33:48Speaker 1: with God. You need to be one in his presence,
- 33:51Speaker 1: one in his glory. Put away your list of stuff.
- 33:53Speaker 1: At about 22, I won't dance. And when I'm 31,
- 33:56Speaker 1: I won't dance. And I want to buy my home
- 33:57Speaker 1: when I'm 70. Shut up! Seek ye first the kingdom
- 34:02Speaker 1: of God and his righteousness and all these things. stop
- 34:15Speaker 1: somebody and tell them I don't need but one thing
- 34:19Speaker 1: I love you but I don't have to have you
- 34:21Speaker 1: I like you but I don't have to have you
- 34:23Speaker 1: I want you to be impressed I want you to
- 34:25Speaker 1: appreciate me but if I never win your appreciation I
- 34:28Speaker 1: only gotta have one thing God said I'm gonna show
- 34:43Speaker 1: you who's God I'm gonna show you who's boss. I'm
- 34:47Speaker 1: gonna show you who's in charge. I'm gonna use stuff
- 34:50Speaker 1: that you ain't got. I'm gonna whip you without a chariot.
- 34:54Speaker 1: I'm gonna beat you without a horse. I won't even
- 34:57Speaker 1: use a sword to take you down. I'm gonna kill
- 35:00Speaker 1: you with locusts. God said, I'll use stuff that's not
- 35:04Speaker 1: under your regime and not in your power. I'll turn
- 35:07Speaker 1: your water into blood. God said, I'll release frogs. I'll
- 35:11Speaker 1: send frogs up out of the rivers of Egypt until
- 35:14Speaker 1: you can't see the ground for the frog. God said,
- 35:16Speaker 1: I'll send lice after you. I'll send the livestock. We'll
- 35:19Speaker 1: all get sick. boils all over your body I'll send
- 35:23Speaker 1: hell down on top of you I'll send locusts and
- 35:26Speaker 1: darkness and the killing of the firstborn I'll kill every
- 35:30Speaker 1: baby coming out of your womb until you turn me
- 35:33Speaker 1: when God gets ready to bring you out he'll send
- 35:36Speaker 1: stuff you thought couldn't be done to get you out
- 35:39Speaker 1: of the body look at how much God paid for
- 35:41Speaker 1: To get you out of what some of your kinfolks
- 35:43Speaker 1: are still into. But God reached down and snapped you out.
- 35:47Speaker 1: And to God be the glory for the things he
- 35:50Speaker 1: has done. He brought you from a mighty long way.
- 35:53Speaker 1: How dare you sit there with your lips glued together
- 35:56Speaker 1: and act like you can't praise God. Girl, you know
- 35:59Speaker 1: you wasn't born like this. God just brought you out.
- 36:21Speaker 1: That's why it's dangerous to be an enemy against somebody
- 36:26Speaker 1: that God wants to use. It's not that they're dangerous.
- 36:31Speaker 1: God is dangerous. God don't take no mess. God will
- 36:35Speaker 1: kill you with stuff that they ain't got no name for.
- 36:38Speaker 1: You'll be in the hospital and they'll say, we can't
- 36:40Speaker 1: figure out what's wrong with you. We did an MRI.
- 36:42Speaker 1: We did an EKG. We did an x-ray. We don't
- 36:45Speaker 1: have no kind of machine to determine why you died.
- 36:48Speaker 1: You'll just be dying. God said, touch not mine anointing.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Do my prophets know a heart? When I sent a man,
- 36:57Speaker 1: shut up. You might not agree with him, but shut up.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Pharaoh in all of his might had no response to
- 37:12Speaker 1: fight lice. He knew how to fight armies, but not boils.
- 37:21Speaker 1: He knew how to fight people, but not locusts. God
- 37:26Speaker 1: will hit you where your weapons don't work. All of
- 37:37Speaker 1: this to let my people go. Can I take you deeper?
- 37:45Speaker 1: Now this is what I want you to get. Sit down.
- 37:46Speaker 1: This is what I want you to get. This is
- 37:48Speaker 1: what I want you to get. My God, I feel
- 37:50Speaker 1: the Holy Ghost in you. Glory to God. Glory to God.
- 37:55Speaker 1: It's not good for me to preach with a mic
- 37:56Speaker 1: because it pushes me. When I get a mic in
- 38:01Speaker 1: my hand, I go, you know, I'm trying to be professorial.
- 38:07Speaker 1: And this mic, it messes me up. Make me think
- 38:10Speaker 1: I'm in a storefront somewhere. Next thing you know, I'll
- 38:13Speaker 1: be running down the aisle, walking across pews, leaping up
- 38:16Speaker 1: and down in the air, talking in tongues, shaking devils
- 38:19Speaker 1: and rebuking witches and cashing out... Because I always keep
- 38:24Speaker 1: my stuff with me. I'm always packing. I'm never by myself.
- 38:29Speaker 1: I always got just a little extra in case you
- 38:32Speaker 1: come at me at the very queen. I don't need
- 38:35Speaker 1: to call nobody to pray for me. I got enough
- 38:37Speaker 1: power inside of myself. Don't get it twisted. I was
- 38:49Speaker 1: preaching when you got here. Ain't no such thing as
- 39:02Speaker 1: a bad crowd if you got a real anointing. I'll
- 39:07Speaker 1: flip this place over in the floor if God be
- 39:10Speaker 1: for you. Who am I preaching to today? Now, I
- 39:22Speaker 1: got to get you where God wants me to get you.
- 39:24Speaker 1: Watch this. I don't know who it is, but something
- 39:43Speaker 1: just broke in your life. And you can't hardly hold
- 39:47Speaker 1: your peace. Because you just got a breakthrough. And hell
- 39:52Speaker 1: can't do nothing about it. Have you got anything to
- 40:43Speaker 1: thank him for? Have you got anything to thank him for?
- 40:47Speaker 1: Then do it right now. Don't just watch them. Thank you!
- 40:54Speaker 1: Thank you! Thank you! Thank you, sir!
- 40:57Speaker 2: Thank you, sir!
- 40:59Speaker 1: Thank you, sir! Thank you, sir! Thank you, sir! Thank you, sir!
- 41:04Speaker 1: I'm grateful! I'm grateful!
- 41:06Speaker 2: I'm grateful!
- 41:08Speaker 1: I'm grateful!
- 41:08Speaker 2: Thank you!
- 41:09Speaker 1: Thank you! You're Lord of the breakthrough. Of the breakthrough.
- 41:46Speaker 2: You're Lord of the breakthrough. You're Lord of the breakthrough.
- 41:53Speaker 2: You're Lord of the breakthrough. You're Lord of the breakthrough.
- 41:58Speaker 1: You're Lord of the breakthrough. You're Lord of the breakthrough.
- 42:02Speaker 1: You're Lord of the breakthrough. You're Lord of the breakthrough.
- 42:05Speaker 1: You're Lord of the breakthrough. You're Lord of the breakthrough.
- 42:11Speaker 1: Thank you, sir.
- 42:35Speaker 2: Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you,
- 42:39Speaker 2: thank you, thank you, thank.
- 42:47Speaker 1: You.
- 42:52Speaker 2: Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 43:22Speaker 1: So Sarah, Sarah, Sarah, I wanted you to get that
- 43:29Speaker 1: anointing out of you so you could think. Because there
- 43:33Speaker 1: is a glory that gets so high you can't think.
- 43:36Speaker 1: When the glory is real, how the priest came minister.
- 43:38Speaker 1: The Bible said when the glory fell on Solomon's temple,
- 43:41Speaker 1: the priest lay prostrate in the floor. Because there is
- 43:43Speaker 1: a glory that gets you so intoxicated, you got to
- 43:46Speaker 1: get that out. Look at the difference there. I had
- 43:50Speaker 1: to get that out. What's this? Moses is leading them
- 44:25Speaker 1: forward almost against their will. Because while he's trying to
- 44:33Speaker 1: get them out from under Pharaoh, when they heard Pharaoh's
- 44:39Speaker 1: army coming up behind them their emotions took over their
- 44:44Speaker 1: intelligence have you ever had your emotions take over your
- 44:53Speaker 1: intelligence so out of their emotions affecting their intelligence their
- 45:02Speaker 1: reasoning is so flawed that they start arguing over where
- 45:05Speaker 1: they're going to die Were there no graves in Egypt?
- 45:13Speaker 1: Why did you bring us into the wilderness to die?
- 45:15Speaker 1: This whole conversation is stupid. It's like saying, I don't
- 45:21Speaker 1: want to die in the bedroom. I want to die
- 45:22Speaker 1: in the living room. Why did you bring me in
- 45:27Speaker 1: the living room? I wanted to die in the bedroom.
- 45:29Speaker 1: Dead don't make no difference. It doesn't make any difference
- 45:36Speaker 1: at all. You don't get in the presence of God
- 45:40Speaker 1: and talk stupid. God is intelligent. Moses immediately, they didn't
- 45:50Speaker 1: say nothing about being afraid. They just gave a stupid
- 45:54Speaker 1: conversation and Moses said, be not afraid. Do we attack
- 46:01Speaker 1: people that we ought to discern?
- 46:03Speaker 3: No.
- 46:10Speaker 1: Are we so focused on what they say that we
- 46:12Speaker 1: don't think about why they said it? Moses doesn't wrestle
- 46:20Speaker 1: with the what because the what was ignorant. He goes
- 46:24Speaker 1: right to the why. He says, don't be afraid. See,
- 46:29Speaker 1: they're dealing with somebody they had seen commit atrocities, buried
- 46:35Speaker 1: people alive, split them in two. Of course they were scared.
- 46:42Speaker 1: They had not seen God's hand for 400 years. He
- 46:47Speaker 1: had worked around them. But he had not worked in them.
- 46:54Speaker 1: He said let my people go. That they may worship me.
- 46:59Speaker 1: In the wilderness. So the word we call tabernacle. In
- 47:04Speaker 1: the Hebrew is. It is a tent of meeting. God
- 47:10Speaker 1: said I'm taking them on a date so they can
- 47:16Speaker 1: find out who their husband is everything else I did
- 47:24Speaker 1: for them the locusts the lice the boils the water
- 47:29Speaker 1: turning into blood the afflictions attacking the animals all the
- 47:33Speaker 1: ten of the plagues I did for them but having
- 47:36Speaker 1: God doing things for you It's different from having God
- 47:40Speaker 1: doing things in you. Now, here's where you're at. They
- 47:53Speaker 1: have come down to the Red Sea and they think
- 47:58Speaker 1: they're going to die. And Moses says, shut up. I'm paraphrasing.
- 48:06Speaker 1: Shut up. I like shut up. I was raised off
- 48:12Speaker 1: of shut up. My mother did not negotiate. As soon
- 48:18Speaker 1: as you finish talking, I would like to interject a thought.
- 48:25Speaker 1: Shut your mouth. You sound stupid. And you know what
- 48:31Speaker 1: I did? So what Moses is saying to them is
- 48:37Speaker 1: shut up. See, we don't have the kind of faith
- 48:40Speaker 1: today that can take an insult.
- 48:44Speaker 2: No, no.
- 48:45Speaker 1: You will leave the church because somebody sat in your chair.
- 48:49Speaker 1: You can't take a good shut up. That's why Pharaoh
- 48:53Speaker 1: keeps eating you up. Because until you can endure correction,
- 49:01Speaker 1: you're not a son. I don't care what your DNA says.
- 49:08Speaker 1: He says, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.
- 49:14Speaker 1: For the Egyptians that you see today. you shall see
- 49:20Speaker 1: them no more he didn't say they wouldn't have to
- 49:24Speaker 1: fight again they had to fight all kinds of people
- 49:25Speaker 1: all kinds of people but what you're worried about you
- 49:27Speaker 1: ain't gonna never see them no more So settle this
- 49:43Speaker 1: in your mind. I will not say this in a
- 49:47Speaker 1: provocative way because it is too profound to be provocative
- 49:51Speaker 1: and because I want both your spirit and your soul
- 49:54Speaker 1: to hear this. Settle this in your mind. In spite
- 49:58Speaker 1: of the footprints that you hear through your senses coming
- 50:02Speaker 1: up behind you and the snorting of the horse's hot
- 50:05Speaker 1: breath and the images that have been in your head
- 50:09Speaker 1: for 400 years of what Pharaoh can do to you
- 50:13Speaker 1: And now he is after you. It's like the image
- 50:17Speaker 1: I had when I went down to the power company
- 50:19Speaker 1: years ago and asked them to keep the power on.
- 50:22Speaker 1: And the woman said she was going to cut it
- 50:24Speaker 1: off anyway. And I walked out of Appalachian Power Company
- 50:27Speaker 1: crying walking down the street because I saw an image
- 50:30Speaker 1: of me pushing a go-kart. And me and my wife
- 50:33Speaker 1: and my two kids was going to be homeless. And
- 50:36Speaker 1: sometimes it's an image you're fighting. I was crying and
- 50:43Speaker 1: I couldn't stop. I was crying over an image. David
- 50:50Speaker 1: said yea though I walked through the valley of the.
- 50:54Speaker 1: There are death has shadows. Anybody understand what I'm talking about?
- 51:00Speaker 1: Anybody ever been up all night over an image? It
- 51:02Speaker 1: hadn't even happened yet, but it's an image. Anybody in
- 51:05Speaker 1: the Elijah running from a threat from a Jezebel that
- 51:08Speaker 1: you ain't even seen who said you would be dead
- 51:11Speaker 1: in 24 hours and the 24 hours has elapsed and
- 51:14Speaker 1: you still running? Anybody still running from a ghost? Something
- 51:25Speaker 1: somebody said about you in the first grade? Something your
- 51:27Speaker 1: stepmother told you? Something somebody said about you? Something your
- 51:30Speaker 1: big sister said about you? You still running from it?
- 51:35Speaker 1: This is why I want to speak to your spirit
- 51:37Speaker 1: and to your soul. And this is why you're logged
- 51:39Speaker 1: on to this broadcast right now. This is why you
- 51:42Speaker 1: cannot move. Because the Holy Ghost said, you will not move.
