- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone, and welcome back to the program. In
- 0:03this episode, we're going to pick back up where we
- 0:05left off with the Grooming Gang's report coming out of England.
- 0:10Overview of crimes, rape gangs have exploited children systematically across
- 0:16every region of the United Kingdom for decades. The independent
- 0:21chair of the Center of Excellence for Children's Care and Protection,
- 0:25Alexis j has identified the nineteen seventies as the decade
- 0:29when immigrant rape gangs first began tormenting the girls of Britain. However,
- 0:35the British newspaper Archive reveals that the first recorded case
- 0:38of specifically Pakistani rape gangs dates back to nineteen fifty five,
- 0:43when four Bradford based Pakistanis were charged with raping a
- 0:48fifteen year old girl from Middlesbrough. This was soon after
- 0:52former colonial subjects from the subcontinent as much as the Caribbean,
- 0:57became eligible to enter the UK in nontrivia numbers under
- 1:01the British Nationality Act of nineteen forty eight. What began
- 1:06as a singular and small scale instance became systematic and
- 1:10industrial over time. These horrific crimes have only escalated in
- 1:15recent decades, especially following Tony Blair's ninety seven victory and
- 1:20the start of orchestrated mass immigration. With greater numbers came
- 1:25greater opportunities for abuse. Perpetrators built organized networks that transported
- 1:30victims between towns and cities and past girls between multiple
- 1:35adult men. In each of these areas that same tactics
- 1:39were used. Girls as young as eleven were targeted with gifts, alcohol,
- 1:44and drugs, collected in taxis from school gates, care homes
- 1:48and streets, and taken to houses, flats, restaurants, and hotels,
- 1:53and then raped repeatedly by groups of men passed between perpetrators,
- 1:57trafficked across county lines, and in many cases impregnated or
- 2:02forced into abortions. Most victims endured violence were filmed for
- 2:06blackmail or told that they were white trash or coffer
- 2:10who deserve punishment. The authorities at every level, including the police,
- 2:15social services, health services, schools, licensing bodies, and politicians, knew
- 2:21the patterns, possessed the intelligence, and still failed to protect
- 2:25the country's children. The evidence establishes that a national scandal
- 2:29of repeated rape, trafficking, torture, pregnancy, forced Islamic conversion and
- 2:35lifelong trauma enabled by institutional denial, political calculation and fear
- 2:41of the accusation of racism, took place over decades. The
- 2:45incidents of criminal activities listed in this report are drawn
- 2:49from court records, official and unofficial inquiries across the country,
- 2:53and witness testimony provided to the Inquiry. They confirmed that
- 2:58this was never a series of isolated local failures. It
- 3:02was a coordinated nationwide pattern of organized child sexual exploitation
- 3:08that repeated in town after town, city after city, from
- 3:12the far north to the south coast. The same ethnic
- 3:16and religious profile of the perpetrators was documented throughout almost
- 3:20all of the witnesses who contacted the inquiry. The scale
- 3:26of the rape gang phenomenon is endemic across the entirety
- 3:29of Britain. The two hundred and fifty thousand figure originates
- 3:33directly from a statement in the House of Lords by
- 3:35Lord Pearson of Rannik on May fourteenth, twenty nineteen. Do
- 3:41the Government accept that if we extrapolate nationally the Jay
- 3:44report on Roterham and other reports from Telford and Oxford,
- 3:49there appear to have been upwards of two hundred and
- 3:52fifty thousand young white girls raped in this country. Very
- 3:55largely by Muslim Men, usually several times a day for years.
- 4:00He added that this number is probably an underestimate. This
- 4:05extrapolation now has greater support due to further data that's
- 4:10been collected derived from scaling the patterns documented in major inquiries.
- 4:15Roderham Jay Report twenty fourteen at least fourteen hundred girls
- 4:19abused between nineteen ninety seven and twenty thirteen, with some
- 4:24updated estimates exceeding this. Perpetrators were overwhelmingly Pakistani muslim Men.
- 4:31The Telford Inquiry twenty twenty two more than one thousand
- 4:34children predominantly grows over decades, again with the same perpetrator
- 4:38profile national footprint. The Grumen gang model has been confirmed
- 4:44in dozens of towns and cities. Our independent inquiry, led
- 4:47by Rupert Lowe MP, has heard evidence demonstrating coordinated operations
- 4:52extending to all four corners of the country in at
- 4:55least one hundred and forty nine local authority districts. When
- 4:59the rotter had Telford scale is applied across the documented
- 5:02national distribution and multiplied by the extreme under reporting factor
- 5:06accepted by official reviews, the total reaches the two hundred
- 5:11and fifty thousand threshold as a bare minimum, we are
- 5:14far from grasping the full extent of grooming gang criminality
- 5:17in modern Britain. It's reasonable to assume that since sexual
- 5:22abuse of all kinds tends to be under reported, this
- 5:25is also true of grooming gangs. The Independent has reported
- 5:29that almost nineteen thousand children were identified as sexual exploitation
- 5:34victims in England in one year alone, despite the reluctance
- 5:37of state actors to name or tackle the problem of
- 5:40the rape gangs after decades of abuse, victims must number
- 5:44in the hundreds of thousands. The full scale is not
- 5:48yet known. Every major review has emphasized that recorded statistics
- 5:54severely under state reality Barness Casey National Audit on group
- 5:58based child sexual act Exploitation Abuse June twenty twenty five.
- 6:03The audit explicitly states that the scale, nature and characteristics
- 6:07of group based child's sexual exploitation remained impossible to quantify
- 6:12precisely due to inconsistent data collection and historical suppression. Independent
- 6:18Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse se SA and multiple local
- 6:23inquiries twenty twenty two and twenty twenty five. It's simply
- 6:28not possible to know the scale because ethnicity, group offending
- 6:32and historical cases were routinely unrecorded or shelved to protect
- 6:36community cohesion. Overleaf is a heat map that portrays the
- 6:40various locations in which the inquiry can be sure the
- 6:44rape gangs operated. It's likely that the true extent is
- 6:48far worse. The scale, the tactics, the perpetrator profile, and
- 6:54the systematic inaction were almost always identical. Everywhere Britain did
- 6:58not face does it of separate local scandals, It faced
- 7:02one national scandal that the state allowed to grow for
- 7:07decades London. London stands exposed as the epicenter of institutional
- 7:13denial in the grooming gang scandal. While northern towns face
- 7:17public inquiries after the truth emerged, the capital maintained a
- 7:21wall of silence for years. The Mayor of London, Sadik Khan,
- 7:25has repeatedly insisted that there were no grooming gangs operating
- 7:28in the city. As our inquiry heard from Susan Hall,
- 7:32leader of the Conservatives in London Assembly, the right gang
- 7:37phenomenon is in fact endemic within the capital. After challenging
- 7:41Khan about the presence of such gangs in London, Hall
- 7:44was inundated with calls from women and girls purporting to
- 7:48be victims of their predation. Khan described evidence from whistleblowers
- 7:52as malicious and politically motivated. He told the London Assembly
- 7:57that the problem was far more complex than in any
- 8:00other part of the country and that young people were
- 8:03being exploited through country lines rather than organized, group based
- 8:07child sexual exploitation. These statements were made despite the Metro
- 8:12Police holding reports of young girls be implied with alcohol
- 8:15and drugs and then raped by groups of men in
- 8:18hotels and other locations across the capitol. A Daily Express
- 8:24in investigation revealed that Khan had direct access to hm
- 8:28Inspectorate of Constabulary detailing exactly these patterns of offending. He
- 8:33read the files, yet continued to deny the existence of
- 8:37grooming gangs in public. Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philip MP
- 8:42has accused Kahan of facilitating a cover up, and other
- 8:45politicians stated that both the mayor and the Metropolitan Police
- 8:49had been denying grooming gangs in London. Campaigners, including whistleblower
- 8:54Maggie Oliver and Chris Wilde, described the capital as the
- 8:57last bastion of denial and warned that the scale of
- 9:00abuse there was more catastrophic than anywhere else in the country.
- 9:06The evidence now emerging confirms their warnings. In October of
- 9:11twenty twenty five, the Metropolitan Police announced a review of
- 9:15nine thousand child sexual exploitation cases. The National Crime Agency
- 9:20launched Operation Beaconport to examine thousands more files nationwide after
- 9:25initial assessments found human errors, misslines of inquiry and cases
- 9:30wrongly dropped. London forms a significant part of this backlog.
- 9:35A former Metro Police detective has described industrial scale child
- 9:40prostitution and grooming in the capitol, with authorities aware but
- 9:44apting for inaction due to a mixture of incompetence, laziness
- 9:48and corruption. London has the largest Muslim population in Britain,
- 9:54con relies on significant electoral support from those communities, as
- 9:58well as having an ethno religious mi to protect the
- 10:01public reputation of Pakistani Muslims. In particular, widespread acknowledgment of
- 10:07organized networks of predominantly Pakistani Muslim men targeting vulnerable white
- 10:11girls would have shattered the narrative of community cohesion that
- 10:15success of London administrations none more than cons have promoted
- 10:21as for others in authority, Fears of being labeled racist
- 10:25paralyzed the Metro Police and City Hall in the same
- 10:27way it did the Rotterham and Rochdell before them. One
- 10:32anonymous whistleblower told us that boys as well as girls
- 10:35aren't especially vulnerable target for criminal gangs typically Albanian, Somali
- 10:40or Turkish operating in the Capitol. Yet relevant bodies still
- 10:45refused to collect data on ethnicity, willfully rendering themselves blind
- 10:50to the very behavioral patterns that are supposed to aid
- 10:53law enforcement in its pursuit of justice. The Metro Police review,
- 10:58the National Crime Agency operation and the witness accounts pouring
- 11:01in prove that group based child's sexual exploitation has thrived
- 11:07in our capital city. This inquiry records the failure without reservation.
- 11:11Con and his senior leadership of the Metro Police must
- 11:15answer for their role in this scandal. Until the Capital
- 11:19confronts the truth with the same rigor now demanded elsewhere,
- 11:22the children of London remain at risk and the state
- 11:26remains complicit. All right, folks, we're gonna wrap up right
- 11:29here and in the next episode dealing with the topic,
- 11:32we're gonna get to victim testimony. All the information that
- 11:36goes with this episode can be found in the description box.
