- 0:00Speaker 1: It's Denver's Morning Show with Nina and Josh on a
- 0:02Speaker 1: Mix 100. Josh, anything interesting happen to you yesterday?
- 0:06Speaker 2: You know what?
- 0:07Speaker 3: No, I just fell asleep on my couch completely accidentally
- 0:10Speaker 3: and woke up thinking it was like Friday. I had
- 0:12Speaker 3: no clue what time it was, where I was. It's
- 0:16Speaker 3: one of those things where you don't mean to. I
- 0:19Speaker 3: don't like to nap because then I don't sleep well
- 0:21Speaker 3: that night. And then that leads to me having a
- 0:24Speaker 3: tired morning and everything. So I don't like to nap
- 0:26Speaker 3: very often. But After my workout yesterday, I was so tired.
- 0:30Speaker 3: I plopped down on my couch, passed out.
- 0:32Speaker 1: It just happened.
- 0:33Speaker 2: And I woke up. So I woke up at four.
- 0:36Speaker 3: That made me think that it was four in the morning,
- 0:38Speaker 3: which made me think that I was up late, which
- 0:40Speaker 3: made me think that I had no idea where I
- 0:42Speaker 3: was and I wasn't ready for the morning and all
- 0:44Speaker 3: these things.
- 0:44Speaker 1: You're like, why is the sun out?
- 0:45Speaker 2: A massive panic attack. I didn't even realize that.
- 0:48Speaker 3: I literally didn't even realize that the sun was out
- 0:50Speaker 3: because I was so worried about getting everything ready. And
- 0:52Speaker 3: it was about 30 seconds until I was like, okay,
- 0:56Speaker 3: it's p.m., not a.m.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Everything's fine. We're okay. I have time.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:01Speaker 2: It was awful. What about you, though? Did you do
- 1:02Speaker 2: anything crazy or interesting yesterday?
- 1:04Speaker 1: I had to spend a lot of money, unfortunately. And Josh,
- 1:09Speaker 1: don't take this the wrong way, because I'm not talking dirty,
- 1:11Speaker 1: I swear. But I had a crack in my ball
- 1:14Speaker 1: joint that needed some fixing.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Okay, hold on.
- 1:17Speaker 3: I'm not.
- 1:18Speaker 1: I know. I know.
- 1:19Speaker 2: What happened? How did you find this out? What went wrong?
- 1:22Speaker 3: It was my dad.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Car it's been.
- 1:23Speaker 1: An issue for a while and quite honestly it was
- 1:25Speaker 1: a safety thing at any moment my car could have
- 1:29Speaker 1: basically crumbled yeah and so I finally had to get
- 1:32Speaker 1: that fixed I took it to the mechanic yesterday and
- 1:35Speaker 1: when I went to go pay hundreds of dollars for
- 1:39Speaker 1: it once I got over the shock of the price
- 1:42Speaker 1: tag on that then the mechanic was telling me yeah
- 1:45Speaker 1: it took all three of my guys today and He's like,
- 1:48Speaker 1: I need to go check the security camera. It's probably
- 1:50Speaker 1: pretty funny because all of us using our body weight
- 1:53Speaker 1: to get that thing out of your car.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Yeah, so I guess it was a tough job. So
- 1:59Speaker 1: thank you to the guys who were working on my
- 2:01Speaker 1: car yesterday. But yeah, I had a crack in my
- 2:03Speaker 1: ball joint.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Well, first of all, that sucks because car trouble like
- 2:06Speaker 3: that is awful.
- 2:08Speaker 2: I know. But you're right.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Yeah. If that happens and you're on the road and
- 2:12Speaker 3: it actually just completely snaps at that point.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Not good.
- 2:14Speaker 3: That's like the car's version of tearing your ACL and
- 2:16Speaker 3: you don't want that. You are stuck if that happens.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Yeah, most definitely. So I took care of that before
- 2:22Speaker 1: it was a bigger problem. Thank goodness.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Poor Nina.
- 2:26Speaker 1: But yeah, poor Josh didn't know what day it was.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I had to spend a whole bunch of money on
- 2:30Speaker 1: my ball joints. Happy Wednesday. We're doing great over here.
- 2:35Speaker 1: It's Denver's Morning Show on Mix 100. Netflix is coming
- 2:38Speaker 1: out with a new show about JonBenet Ramsey. We all
- 2:42Speaker 1: know this story, especially here locally. And actors Melissa McCarthy
- 2:47Speaker 1: and Clive Owen are playing the parents, Patsy and Jon,
- 2:51Speaker 1: and the first image of them in character as these
- 2:54Speaker 1: parents is was recreating a famous interview they did with
- 2:58Speaker 1: 9 News here after JonBenet had passed. And the image
- 3:02Speaker 1: came out, and Melissa McCarthy looks completely unrecognizable. She looks
- 3:08Speaker 1: very similar to the mother of Patsy back in the
- 3:10Speaker 1: 90s when all of this happened and that news interview
- 3:14Speaker 1: came out. But Melissa McCarthy, she's really, I guess, worked
- 3:18Speaker 1: on her image a bit. She's just changed a lot
- 3:21Speaker 1: throughout the years, losing weight and just getting healthier. And
- 3:25Speaker 1: she looks incredible, don't get me wrong. But they did
- 3:29Speaker 1: a really great job with the costumes and the hair
- 3:32Speaker 1: and the style.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Makeup and all that stuff.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Yeah, for the mid-90s, it really is kind of a flashback.
- 3:38Speaker 1: And so Netflix's limited series, The Murder of JonBenet Ramsey,
- 3:41Speaker 1: is going to premiere December 10th, which is just two
- 3:45Speaker 1: weeks before the 30th anniversary of JonBenet's death.
- 3:48Speaker 3: 30 years.
- 3:49Speaker 1: I know, it's hard to believe. Oh my gosh. Yeah,
- 3:52Speaker 1: but this Netflix series I think is going to be
- 3:54Speaker 1: a big one, so watch out for that.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Yeah, first of all, I love Melissa McCarthy. I think
- 3:59Speaker 3: she's hilarious, and I'm not saying this is going to
- 4:00Speaker 3: be a hilarious role, but she's one of my favorite
- 4:02Speaker 3: old SNL actors. I've loved every movie she's been in
- 4:05Speaker 3: in the last decade.
- 4:06Speaker 2: So that's really exciting.
- 4:07Speaker 3: And then the JonBenet Ramsey thing, that whole thing is
- 4:11Speaker 3: so interesting to me. I, for one, I don't know why,
- 4:13Speaker 3: but I love, like, the murder mysteries, like the Zodiac Killer.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 4:16Speaker 2: And the things that just can't, like, why can't they
- 4:18Speaker 2: be solved? I don't understand it. Exactly.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Especially even the 90s. It wasn't too long ago. I
- 4:22Speaker 3: understand it's 30 years ago. But that being said, we
- 4:25Speaker 3: still had the same forensic... or similar forensic technology, why
- 4:29Speaker 3: can't we figure this out?
- 4:30Speaker 1: And because this case is still so big, they've done
- 4:34Speaker 1: more recent, so many things on it, and we still
- 4:37Speaker 1: can't figure it out. It's hard to believe.
- 4:39Speaker 2: It's super interesting. I, for one, will be watching it. Nina,
- 4:41Speaker 2: I want to ask you a question.
- 4:42Speaker 3: Do you ever see a Guinness World Record or something
- 4:45Speaker 3: that you're like, I feel like I could beat that?
- 4:47Speaker 2: I don't know why. I'm always interested in that stuff.
- 4:49Speaker 1: We're very confident in ourselves, and yes, I have felt
- 4:52Speaker 1: that way before. I'm like, I could do that.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Okay, well, this is an interesting one. There's one that
- 4:56Speaker 2: happened over the weekend.
- 4:57Speaker 3: A man, fittingly, named David Rush got through and won
- 5:02Speaker 3: a new Guinness World Record for folding 415 paper airplanes
- 5:05Speaker 3: in one hour.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Like, okay.
- 5:10Speaker 3: So 415 paper airplanes, that seems like a lot, but
- 5:12Speaker 3: between the two of us, I think we could crush that.
- 5:15Speaker 3: Guinness requires a very strict seven-fold process for each plane,
- 5:19Speaker 3: and then they have someone test its airworthiness to see
- 5:22Speaker 3: if it actually flies. So that's all fine and dandy,
- 5:24Speaker 3: but all we need is a team to help us
- 5:26Speaker 3: slide the papers to us and then fly it, and
- 5:28Speaker 3: I think we could totally beat this world record.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Okay, are you saying that we need to try it?
- 5:33Speaker 2: I mean, I'd be down.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Rush averaged 8.67 seconds per plane.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Do you think you could do that quicker? I don't know.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I'd have to practice. I don't want to say I could.
- 5:41Speaker 1: I'd have to practice.
- 5:42Speaker 2: No, we need the confidence. We can.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Okay, fine.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Yes, we can. Okay, thank you.
- 5:45Speaker 1: We absolutely can. Good morning from Denver's morning show on
- 5:49Speaker 1: Mix 100. We're Nina and Josh. And 54% of Americans
- 5:54Speaker 1: are saying that their mental load is completely maxed out
- 5:58Speaker 1: every single week.
- 6:00Speaker 2: I mean, yeah.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I mean, yeah.
- 6:02Speaker 2: How are you feeling?
- 6:03Speaker 1: There's a lot going on. I mean, you got a lot. Yeah. Currently,
- 6:08Speaker 1: there's a lot. I mean, just starting this new job
- 6:11Speaker 1: and dealing with a new schedule, getting less sleep than
- 6:14Speaker 1: I may be used to.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Way less.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Incorporate some new workouts and move my body a little
- 6:20Speaker 1: bit more. I had to cook dinner yesterday. You know
- 6:24Speaker 1: what I mean?
- 6:25Speaker 2: Sorry. I don't know if that's the worst, but I
- 6:28Speaker 2: had to cook for my husband.
- 6:30Speaker 1: Oh man, it was terrible. No, I mean, I know
- 6:34Speaker 1: a lot of people are feeling the same way and
- 6:35Speaker 1: there's just so much going on in the world on
- 6:37Speaker 1: top of Your daily stuff, you know. There's politics and
- 6:41Speaker 1: just things in the news and terrible things happening all
- 6:44Speaker 1: the time.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Well, the news is always so negative. And they just
- 6:47Speaker 3: shove that down your throat. And you're right. I mean,
- 6:49Speaker 3: if over half of Americans are already saying that their
- 6:52Speaker 3: mental load every single week is at maximum capacity. I mean,
- 6:56Speaker 3: the story goes on to say it's 25% say they
- 6:58Speaker 3: can't even talk to their loved ones. 20% you're doing
- 7:01Speaker 3: great at this, but 20% say they're getting squeezed out
- 7:03Speaker 3: of gym time.
- 7:04Speaker 2: I might be that 20%. You never know.
- 7:07Speaker 3: And then more and more admit that they, their busy
- 7:09Speaker 3: schedule is keeping them from even seeing their family members.
- 7:12Speaker 3: I mean, it's, that's a sad life that you don't
- 7:14Speaker 3: want to live. You need to take time for yourself
- 7:16Speaker 3: and learn. We all need to learn how to take
- 7:18Speaker 3: time for ourselves so that we are mentally okay. And
- 7:21Speaker 3: that means seeing your loved ones or doing some physical activity.
- 7:24Speaker 3: There's so many benefits that have been shown by that,
- 7:27Speaker 3: you know?
- 7:27Speaker 1: I think so, and I think you're totally right. It's
- 7:30Speaker 1: hard to catch up on, you know, when you have
- 7:33Speaker 1: free time, sometimes you just want to veg out on
- 7:35Speaker 1: the couch and do nothing. But then at the same time,
- 7:38Speaker 1: you're like, well, I could be making those phone calls
- 7:40Speaker 1: to mom or I could be going to see... My cousin,
- 7:43Speaker 1: I have it in a while that I swore I
- 7:44Speaker 1: was going to go see last weekend or whatever it is,
- 7:47Speaker 1: fill in the blank. It's just the possibilities are endless.
- 7:50Speaker 1: But yeah, a lot of people are feeling the burnout
- 7:53Speaker 1: right now. Your mental load is completely maxed out. And
- 7:56Speaker 1: so a slight solution. that some people have figured, and
- 8:01Speaker 1: I saw this a couple months ago in Chicago, and
- 8:03Speaker 1: it just happened in San Francisco. A bunch of people
- 8:06Speaker 1: are getting together to just scream it out.
- 8:10Speaker 2: What?
- 8:10Speaker 1: There are these Facebook events that are being created of just, hey,
- 8:15Speaker 1: let's get together and scream out our frustration at the ocean.
- 8:20Speaker 1: So this is in San Francisco. A hundred people got together.
- 8:25Speaker 1: One hundred people! That's a lot of people.
- 8:27Speaker 2: I'm not... Saying it's wrong.
- 8:29Speaker 1: And it was kind of one of those things on
- 8:31Speaker 1: the count of three, just scream as loud as you
- 8:34Speaker 1: can and let it all out.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Now imagine, okay, that's on a San Francisco beach, a
- 8:38Speaker 3: public beach. Imagine if you're just a beach goer and
- 8:42Speaker 3: you're just there and all of a sudden you hear
- 8:44Speaker 3: a hundred people screaming at the top of their lungs.
- 8:48Speaker 2: You're like, what's happening? What's going on?
- 8:50Speaker 1: I need to go home. Yeah.
- 8:51Speaker 2: I don't know. It might help. It might help.
- 8:55Speaker 1: But no, here's the thing is people have said that, yes,
- 8:57Speaker 1: this helps because, Josh, a couple months ago I got
- 9:00Speaker 1: the invite for the Chicago event. They were all screaming
- 9:04Speaker 1: at Lake Michigan, just out into the giant lake there.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Fair enough. We hate Michigan. No, yeah.
- 9:09Speaker 1: And then I saw some of the reports afterwards, and
- 9:11Speaker 1: people are saying, you know what? I kind of needed
- 9:13Speaker 1: that release. And you're surrounded by other people that also
- 9:16Speaker 1: need that release and are also understanding.
- 9:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:19Speaker 1: And so some people were crying because they were able
- 9:22Speaker 1: to release so many emotional things that were just, pent
- 9:25Speaker 1: up on the inside. And so it's not the worst thing.
- 9:29Speaker 1: It's a little bit weird, I will admit, but I
- 9:31Speaker 1: don't think it's the worst thing.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Well, no, it's definitely not the worst thing you can do.
- 9:35Speaker 2: It's interesting. It's something I've never heard of. Here's the thing.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Like, could this happen in Colorado?
- 9:40Speaker 2: We just go shout at a mountain?
- 9:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:43Speaker 2: But that's the thing.
- 9:44Speaker 1: You shout at a mountain, you're shouting in a canyon
- 9:46Speaker 1: or something, but it's going to echo. And I feel
- 9:48Speaker 1: like it's going to sound way worse than screaming out
- 9:51Speaker 1: into the ocean.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Is there any part of Red Rocks that echoes, do
- 9:54Speaker 3: you think? Can we have 14,000 people show up to
- 9:57Speaker 3: Red Rocks and just yell at the top of our lungs?
- 10:00Speaker 1: Hold on. You're making me think here.
- 10:02Speaker 2: It's the Nina and Josh scream off?
- 10:04Speaker 1: Yeah. Do we need to create an event, Josh?
- 10:07Speaker 2: I mean... It would be interesting. Look, sure, I'll scream
- 10:10Speaker 2: at the top of my lungs. I don't care. It
- 10:12Speaker 2: sounds good to me.
- 10:13Speaker 1: So if you want to join us, text us. Text
- 10:15Speaker 1: us if you're interested. If this is something you're interested in,
- 10:17Speaker 1: maybe Josh and I will create this event.
- 10:19Speaker 2: 303-691-1MIX.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Would this be something you're interested in? Just let it
- 10:24Speaker 1: all out.
- 10:25Speaker 2: I'm going to go scream at an evergreen.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Maybe it's at Red Rocks. Maybe it's in Evergreen. Maybe
- 10:30Speaker 1: it's in a random canyon somewhere. But maybe we just
- 10:33Speaker 1: go all in.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Sixth and Wads, that's where we're going to go scream.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Three things you need to know before you go into
- 10:38Speaker 1: the office today. including this viral video in San Diego.
- 10:43Speaker 1: A man was driving a Tesla, speeding, and took it
- 10:47Speaker 1: onto a boardwalk full of people on the beach going
- 10:50Speaker 1: 70 miles an hour.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Oh, what are you doing?
- 10:53Speaker 1: People on bikes, bystanders just taking a nice walk. They
- 10:57Speaker 1: were dodging the car, had to fully jump out of
- 11:01Speaker 1: the way. One person was unfortunately hit and taken to
- 11:04Speaker 1: the hospital. And when the Tesla finally crashed, the person
- 11:08Speaker 1: driving it ran out of the car trying to run away,
- 11:12Speaker 1: trying to flee the scene.
- 11:13Speaker 2: What a moron.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Exactly. He was chased down by two people who were
- 11:16Speaker 1: filming the whole thing. Luckily, they did catch up to him.
- 11:20Speaker 1: They tackled him to the ground. Good. And they waited
- 11:22Speaker 1: for police to arrive, and they did arrest this man.
- 11:25Speaker 1: We found out this is a 39-year-old man. He was
- 11:28Speaker 1: arrested for not only stealing that Tesla, it wasn't his.
- 11:32Speaker 1: He was also suspected of driving under the influence on
- 11:35Speaker 1: this boardwalk. Yep, there it is. So I'm really glad
- 11:39Speaker 1: that more people were not hurt because it really could
- 11:41Speaker 1: have been a terrible situation. But good on those guys
- 11:44Speaker 1: who chased this person down.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Yeah, they're heroes, right?
- 11:47Speaker 1: Exactly. And a lot of people have a lot of
- 11:49Speaker 1: things to say of like, why aren't you helping? You're
- 11:51Speaker 1: just standing there filming. But these guys, they did both.
- 11:55Speaker 1: They did both.
- 11:56Speaker 3: But it's also one of those things, look, I understand,
- 11:58Speaker 3: but when you're in a situation like that and all
- 12:00Speaker 3: of a sudden your life is in danger because a
- 12:01Speaker 3: car is going 70 miles an hour down a boardwalk,
- 12:04Speaker 3: it's one of those things that you freeze and everybody
- 12:06Speaker 3: wants to be the hero and say they would be
- 12:08Speaker 3: and I understand that, but it, that's a different circumstance.
- 12:11Speaker 2: I mean, you can really freeze up. Sometimes things like
- 12:13Speaker 2: that happen, you know?
- 12:14Speaker 1: Absolutely. So I'm just glad that there was not more
- 12:18Speaker 1: people that were injured and that they did catch this man.
- 12:20Speaker 2: That is good news.
- 12:21Speaker 3: Well, hey, make sure if you go leaf peeping any
- 12:23Speaker 3: time over the next couple of weeks, because it is
- 12:25Speaker 3: like prime leaf peeping season, be smart where you park.
- 12:29Speaker 3: You can't just park your car on the side of
- 12:31Speaker 3: the road or anywhere just to look at those beautiful
- 12:33Speaker 3: leaves all over the place because Over 150 parking tickets
- 12:38Speaker 3: were given out in Gwinella Pass over the past two weeks, Nina.
- 12:41Speaker 2: And each of those tickets is about $ 87.
- 12:43Speaker 3: 50, and it will be neatly placed on your windshield
- 12:47Speaker 3: if you choose to park in an illegal area. Now,
- 12:49Speaker 3: they're really cracking down on this because there are so
- 12:53Speaker 3: many people there. The roads are essentially overloaded. They have
- 12:56Speaker 3: designated parking areas. Just go up there, get there early
- 12:59Speaker 3: if you want to go see the leaves. and park
- 13:02Speaker 3: in the designated area. Otherwise, you will be met with
- 13:04Speaker 3: a nice little ticket. Now, this next weekend is looking
- 13:07Speaker 3: probably to be one of the biggest weekends yet as
- 13:09Speaker 3: the leaves are changing a little bit quicker now. So
- 13:11Speaker 3: just be sure, get there early, park in the designated
- 13:13Speaker 3: area because you just make traffic way worse if you
- 13:16Speaker 3: choose to be selfish and just pull up on the
- 13:18Speaker 3: side of the road and park there, right?
- 13:19Speaker 1: Plus, who has an extra $ 90 to spend on a
- 13:22Speaker 1: parking ticket like that?
- 13:23Speaker 3: Like, come on.
- 13:24Speaker 2: As much as I love how beautiful the leaves are,
- 13:26Speaker 2: $ 90 to go look at leaves? I'm not doing that.
- 13:28Speaker 1: It ain't worth it.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Uh-uh, we don't need to do that.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Uh-uh. And last week it was bears. This week a
- 13:33Speaker 1: mountain lion was found in a tree in a neighborhood
- 13:37Speaker 1: in Westminster.
- 13:38Speaker 2: What is happening?
- 13:39Speaker 1: So this happened yesterday. This was just yesterday. Neighbors called
- 13:43Speaker 1: the police and animal control who they did come out.
- 13:46Speaker 1: They tranked this young cat and they are relocating him
- 13:49Speaker 1: west of Castle Rock this week. But wildlife experts say that, yeah,
- 13:54Speaker 1: this incident is isolated. This is not because of Colorado's drought,
- 13:59Speaker 1: which we've seen all the bears come through because of that.
- 14:02Speaker 1: They say this is not because of that. They said
- 14:04Speaker 1: that this is a young male mountain lion at the
- 14:07Speaker 1: point in his life where they start to go out
- 14:10Speaker 1: kind of like teenagers and look for their own home.
- 14:14Speaker 1: And he just found himself in a neighborhood in Westminster.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Dudes in Westminster are like, this is nice. All right, cool.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Yeah, like, I can move here. Here we go. We
- 14:23Speaker 1: need to talk about Ed Sheeran. Ed is getting a
- 14:27Speaker 1: lot of flack from people all over right now because
- 14:29Speaker 1: Macklemore has been let go from opening at the Loop Tour.
- 14:34Speaker 1: moving forward because of a performance last weekend and Macklemore's
- 14:39Speaker 1: Free Palestine comments on stage. Now, Ed put out a
- 14:43Speaker 1: message to fans explaining that he did not make this choice.
- 14:47Speaker 1: It was more the promoters and the venue owners that
- 14:50Speaker 1: wanted Macklemore to be let go, and Ed didn't want
- 14:54Speaker 1: to cancel on his fans that were planning to attend
- 14:56Speaker 1: his shows and all the tour crew members that would
- 14:59Speaker 1: be missing out on their livelihood because that's where they work.
- 15:03Speaker 1: And in solidarity of Macklemore, all tour openers and Ed
- 15:07Speaker 1: Sheeran's band quit yesterday over this.
- 15:11Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Everyone quit. The openers include Phineas, Aaron Rowe, and Lucas Graham.
- 15:18Speaker 1: They all put out their own individual... like, speeches on Instagram.
- 15:24Speaker 1: They put out a message about this situation. And Ed
- 15:28Speaker 1: is getting criticism online from other celebrities, people that are
- 15:33Speaker 1: even in Congress, fans, everyone. And I have a feeling, Josh,
- 15:38Speaker 1: that we're going to get more updates on the future
- 15:40Speaker 1: of this tour. whether it's today, tomorrow, later this week,
- 15:44Speaker 1: but I really don't know if this tour is going
- 15:47Speaker 1: to continue because of everything that's going on.
- 15:50Speaker 3: Yeah, it would be hard for it to. You know,
- 15:54Speaker 3: you and I actually went to his American version of
- 15:56Speaker 3: the Loop Tour.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Fantastic. It was so good.
- 15:59Speaker 1: It was 4th of July here at Empower Field.
- 16:01Speaker 2: He crushed it.
- 16:02Speaker 3: His band that came on that actually is one of
- 16:05Speaker 3: the people that are taking a leave of absence now,
- 16:08Speaker 3: they did such a good job.
- 16:10Speaker 2: It's a very awkward situation. I think it's a lose-lose.
- 16:13Speaker 3: No matter what you say, whether you stand up, there
- 16:15Speaker 3: are going to be people that are upset about that,
- 16:17Speaker 3: whether you stay quiet.
- 16:19Speaker 2: This is very hard. It's kind of.
- 16:21Speaker 3: ironic how that his loop tour is kind of supposed
- 16:23Speaker 3: to be just him and his little loop pedals on
- 16:26Speaker 3: there right it might literally just be him now.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Yeah it seems like it i mean everyone dipped i
- 16:32Speaker 1: don't know it's it's a sad situation it sucks to
- 16:34Speaker 1: be put in um because again i just don't think
- 16:36Speaker 1: you're going to come out a winner for this one
- 16:38Speaker 1: i don't think so either and because like you said
- 16:39Speaker 1: it's lose lose i just don't see that this tour
- 16:42Speaker 1: continuing on.
- 16:43Speaker 3: No, I think that's probably the right call, which is
- 16:45Speaker 3: such a bummer because there's so many worldwide fans that
- 16:47Speaker 3: love him.
- 16:48Speaker 2: I'm one of them. I love Ed Sheeran. I think
- 16:49Speaker 2: he's a very talented artist and writer. So that's a bummer.
- 16:52Speaker 3: I'm selfishly glad we got to see him before this happened.
- 16:56Speaker 2: But in some lighter news, Sherwin-Williams, why are they in
- 16:58Speaker 2: the news today?
- 16:59Speaker 3: They have already chosen what the color of the year
- 17:02Speaker 3: is for 2027, Nina. 2026 color of the year was
- 17:06Speaker 3: the Cloud Dancer. It's a soft, billowy white, which symbolized
- 17:11Speaker 3: a fresh start, right? Don't you love billowy white?
- 17:13Speaker 1: I guess. That's such a boring color. I know.
- 17:17Speaker 2: So this year, hold on. Hold on.
- 17:19Speaker 3: This next year, they are choosing, are you ready?
- 17:21Speaker 1: I'm ready.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Celery. Oh, celery.
- 17:26Speaker 3: They chose celery. It's because it symbolizes a fresh perspective
- 17:30Speaker 3: on comfort and calm.
- 17:32Speaker 2: They added.
- 17:32Speaker 3: that they chose it because it also reflects on today's priorities, wellness, balance,
- 17:37Speaker 3: and connection. In reality, isn't it just like a light green? Again,
- 17:41Speaker 3: I'm colorblind, so I.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Don't really know.
- 17:42Speaker 1: I was just going to say it's green, right?
- 17:44Speaker 2: Yes.
- 17:44Speaker 1: But I like a nice light green.
- 17:46Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I forgot your colorblind.
- 17:47Speaker 2: I know. I know.
- 17:48Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I like a nice light green. My bathroom
- 17:51Speaker 1: is kind of a sage green. Okay. And we're thinking
- 17:53Speaker 1: about repainting, so maybe we'll switch to celery.
- 17:56Speaker 3: You've got to go to Sherwin-Williams and say, give me
- 17:58Speaker 3: your finest celery. And they will give you a can
- 18:00Speaker 3: of celery green, I guess. Anyway, that's the color of 2027.
- 18:03Speaker 3: Can't wait to see what they do for 2028.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Okay. And last year, eight people were found guilty for
- 18:09Speaker 1: their roles in Kim Kardashian's Paris burglary, where they broke
- 18:13Speaker 1: into her hotel room, tied her up, and took $ 6
- 18:15Speaker 1: million in jewelry. And yesterday, the compensation for this case
- 18:20Speaker 1: was due, and Kim was awarded the one euro that
- 18:24Speaker 1: she asked for. Yeah, one euro. So they released a
- 18:28Speaker 1: statement with her lawyers. They said today's decision is not
- 18:32Speaker 1: about the compensation, but about accountability. We're thankful to the
- 18:36Speaker 1: court and everyone who supported us through this process, and
- 18:38Speaker 1: we hope to move forward to continue to heal. Kim
- 18:41Speaker 1: just wanted to make it be known that it's not
- 18:43Speaker 1: about the money. She has enough money. But she did
- 18:47Speaker 1: want to move forward with convicting these guys, these eight people,
- 18:51Speaker 1: because what they did was wrong and terrifying.
- 18:53Speaker 2: I mean, yes. I didn't know she was tied up.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Yeah, they tied her up on the bed.
- 18:56Speaker 2: I thought they stole when she was gone.
- 18:58Speaker 1: No, she was in the room.
- 19:01Speaker 2: Okay, that changes everything.
- 19:02Speaker 1: They duct tape over her mouth everything. It was terrifying
- 19:06Speaker 1: and a traumatic experience. and she still deals with that
- 19:10Speaker 1: trauma today.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Yeah, rightfully so. I did not know that. Dang, Kim.
- 19:13Speaker 1: I know, I know. Mix 100.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Time to wake up and wise up.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Am I in trouble? It's the Pop Quiz Hot Seat.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Attention, everyone. On Denver's Morning Show.
- 19:25Speaker 1: With Nina and Josh. The Pop Quiz Hot Seat is
- 19:28Speaker 1: presented by Bally's Casino Blackhawk. Best value with $ 5 blackjack
- 19:33Speaker 1: and $ 5 menu items daily today. And it is time.
- 19:37Speaker 1: You have seven trivia questions to answer. If you get
- 19:40Speaker 1: one wrong, you're out. But we will continue those questions
- 19:43Speaker 1: with the next caller until we get through all seven.
- 19:46Speaker 1: And when you win, we are hooking you up with...
- 19:49Speaker 1: four tickets to join Big Rob at Anderson Farms for
- 19:53Speaker 1: our annual Monster Bash.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Yeah, that's such a fun time.
- 19:57Speaker 3: You get the VIP terror in the corn as well,
- 19:59Speaker 3: so you can be frightened through more than a mile.
- 20:02Speaker 3: It's like a mile of walking through the corn, and
- 20:04Speaker 3: it's haunted. It is.
- 20:05Speaker 2: It's spooky.
- 20:06Speaker 1: It's very spooky, but wear comfy shoes because it is
- 20:10Speaker 1: one of the longest haunted houses I've ever been in.
- 20:13Speaker 2: It's awesome, though.
- 20:14Speaker 1: It is. It's really, really cool. So if you're wanting
- 20:17Speaker 1: to go VIP to Terror in the Corn at Mix
- 20:19Speaker 1: 100's Monster Bash at Anderson Farms next Saturday with Big Rob,
- 20:23Speaker 1: I want you to call us, 303-691-1MIX. Come sit in
- 20:28Speaker 1: the hot seat to win these tickets, 303-691-1649, or playing
- 20:34Speaker 1: the Pop Quiz Hot Seat on Mix 100. Haley in Longmont,
- 20:37Speaker 1: how are you this morning?
- 20:39Speaker 3: I'm doing all right.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Is traffic treating you okay today? Yeah, actually, it's pretty smooth.
- 20:44Speaker 2: I haven't seen any major accidents, so that's a good thing.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Yeah, yesterday was awful in the morning, so today's a
- 20:51Speaker 1: better day. And hopefully today is a better day for
- 20:54Speaker 1: you to win the pop quiz hot seat. Ready for
- 20:57Speaker 1: the first question?
- 20:58Speaker 2: Yes, ma'am.
- 20:59Speaker 1: What was the name of the app that became famous
- 21:03Speaker 1: for its six-second looping videos?
- 21:07Speaker 2: Vine.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Vine is correct. Your second question, what is the human
- 21:12Speaker 1: being's average temperature? 98.6. Yes, 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. That is right.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Your third question, in dating, what is it called when
- 21:25Speaker 1: you want to get into a relationship in time for
- 21:28Speaker 1: the colder months, typically starting in the fall?
- 21:35Speaker 4: A holiday? I don't know.
- 21:37Speaker 1: You know, that's a great answer, but it is not correct.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Thank you so much for trying today. Kristen N. Parker,
- 21:47Speaker 1: you're in the hot seat. How are you this morning?
- 21:50Speaker 2: I'm good, thank you.
- 21:52Speaker 3: How are you?
- 21:53Speaker 1: I'm great. We are on the third question. Are you ready?
- 21:56Speaker 1: I'm ready. In dating, what is it called when you
- 22:00Speaker 1: want to get into a relationship in time for the
- 22:03Speaker 1: colder months, typically starting in the fall? Cuddle season? Ooh,
- 22:09Speaker 1: it was really close, so I'm going to let you
- 22:10Speaker 1: try again. I.
- 22:13Speaker 1: I don't know. I've been in a relationship for so long. Well,
- 22:19Speaker 1: thank you so much for trying today. I appreciate you.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Thank you. Thank you.
- 22:23Speaker 2: Goodbye.
- 22:24Speaker 1: We haven't quite gotten a winner just yet, but I
- 22:27Speaker 1: know a lot of people know the answer to this question.
- 22:30Speaker 1: If you know the answer to question number three in dating,
- 22:34Speaker 1: what is it called when you want to get into
- 22:36Speaker 1: a relationship in time for the colder months? typically starting
- 22:40Speaker 1: in the fall. David and Inglewood, how are we this morning?
- 22:43Speaker 2: I'm doing great.
- 22:44Speaker 1: How are you? I'm great, David. Now I got to ask,
- 22:47Speaker 1: are you single in a relationship? Are you dating? I
- 22:50Speaker 1: am married. Married. Okay, married. But maybe you know the
- 22:55Speaker 1: answer to the third question. Ready?
- 22:57Speaker 3: Okay.
- 22:58Speaker 1: In dating, what is it called when you want to
- 23:01Speaker 1: get into a relationship in time for the colder months,
- 23:04Speaker 1: typically starting in the fall? Oh, shoot. Oh, I don't know.
- 23:12Speaker 4: Coffee season?
- 23:14Speaker 1: What was that?
- 23:14Speaker 4: Coughing season.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Yes, it is coughing season.
- 23:18Speaker 1: See? Even a married guy, you know.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Oh, God.
- 23:22Speaker 3: Okay.
- 23:23Speaker 1: All right, your fourth question. Which classical composer became deaf
- 23:28Speaker 1: later in life but continued to compose music? Beethoven. Yes,
- 23:33Speaker 1: Ludwig van Beethoven. Your fifth question, what was the name
- 23:38Speaker 1: of the game that had people searching for virtual creatures
- 23:42Speaker 1: using their phones in actual locations?
- 23:45Speaker 2: Ah, yeah, Pokemon Go.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Yes, and your sixth question, what was the name of
- 23:51Speaker 1: the viral plush toy pillows that became extremely popular in
- 23:55Speaker 1: the 2020s?
- 23:57Speaker 4: Oh, Squishmallows.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Yes. And your final question. Which actress plays Katie Herring
- 24:06Speaker 1: in the movie Mean Girls? Oh, Katie, that's going to
- 24:10Speaker 1: be Lindsay Lohan. Yes, and you're my winner for the
- 24:13Speaker 1: Pop Quiz Hot Seat. Congratulations.
- 24:15Speaker 4: Yeah, right.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Three things you need to know before you go into
- 24:19Speaker 1: the office today, like the Avalanche Center Ice is actually
- 24:24Speaker 1: changed this year compared to last year. And I don't
- 24:27Speaker 1: know if you know this, Josh, but the Center Ice
- 24:30Speaker 1: is hand-painted by the Avalanche Ice Patrol.
- 24:34Speaker 2: It is. That's interesting. You think you trust them?
- 24:37Speaker 1: I know, right? So they hand paint the circles and
- 24:40Speaker 1: the lines on the ice. And then the logos are
- 24:43Speaker 1: made out of this special freezing material that they just
- 24:45Speaker 1: kind of place down and then put the ice over.
- 24:48Speaker 1: But yesterday, the Avs unveiled this year's new design for
- 24:51Speaker 1: Center Ice. They put back the original logo after last
- 24:55Speaker 1: year's special 30th anniversary logo was up. And just so
- 24:59Speaker 1: everyone knows, there is a free youth hockey day that
- 25:03Speaker 1: is coming up Saturday, September 26th. They are bringing out
- 25:07Speaker 1: NHL trophies for you to look at. Avalanche alumni are
- 25:10Speaker 1: going to be there. You get a tour of the
- 25:13Speaker 1: locker room. And this is free for kids. So you
- 25:16Speaker 1: can go and register for Youth Hockey Day with the
- 25:19Speaker 1: Colorado Avalanche at Ball Arena at their website.
- 25:22Speaker 2: That is so cool.
- 25:23Speaker 3: First of all, if you have not had a chance
- 25:25Speaker 3: to see their locker room, the Avs just got a
- 25:27Speaker 3: new locker room a couple of seasons ago.
- 25:28Speaker 2: It is fantastic.
- 25:31Speaker 3: It is such a cool thing to go see what
- 25:32Speaker 3: an NHL locker room looks like.
- 25:35Speaker 1: I need a tour of that. I haven't been in there.
- 25:37Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh. I mean, it's no secret. Hockey is
- 25:39Speaker 2: my bread and butter.
- 25:39Speaker 3: I grew up playing hockey. I absolutely love it. And
- 25:42Speaker 3: when hockey season comes around, it makes me so happy.
- 25:44Speaker 3: I'm one of the people that miss the smell of
- 25:47Speaker 3: a locker room, even though it smells horrible.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Well, I was just going to ask, does it smell
- 25:51Speaker 1: like sweaty boys?
- 25:52Speaker 2: Yes, and it's awesome, okay? It's fantastic. It smells so bad,
- 25:56Speaker 2: and I love it, and I miss it dearly.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Ew.
- 25:58Speaker 2: It's so gross.
- 25:59Speaker 3: Well, hey, a new study has found that reading for
- 26:02Speaker 3: literally just six minutes can reduce stress by up to
- 26:06Speaker 3: nearly 70%. And, Nina, we talked earlier about how so
- 26:10Speaker 3: many people, in the United States especially, are just feeling
- 26:13Speaker 3: mentally at their max. Like, they cannot take any more.
- 26:16Speaker 3: That has added stresses. I just found out I might
- 26:18Speaker 3: have to be buying a new laptop today. And that's
- 26:21Speaker 3: added stress because they're so expensive.
- 26:23Speaker 2: So just reading. I just want to read and take
- 26:26Speaker 2: six minutes to reduce my stress. This is a.
- 26:29Speaker 3: Crazy good news for adults especially. Adults who read also
- 26:32Speaker 3: face a much lower risk of dementia and slower cognitive decline.
- 26:38Speaker 3: Reading for pleasure is also linked for more empathy and
- 26:41Speaker 3: less loneliness in adults and children. And unfortunately, Nina, there
- 26:45Speaker 3: is a massive drop-off in reading among teens, especially boys
- 26:50Speaker 3: aged 11 to 16, which shows different cognitive decline for
- 26:55Speaker 3: people even starting with young adults. So young adults in
- 26:58Speaker 3: their 20s, you don't want that. Just take a book,
- 27:01Speaker 3: sit down and read. It's six minutes a day.
- 27:04Speaker 2: That's it.
- 27:04Speaker 3: And it shows so much improvement in your mental capacity.
- 27:07Speaker 3: I think I'm going to start having to do that.
- 27:09Speaker 1: I know, same. I've been trying to get myself to
- 27:12Speaker 1: read a little bit more, so this is a great
- 27:14Speaker 1: way to just, you know, try to get yourself to
- 27:17Speaker 1: do it.
- 27:17Speaker 2: And this isn't the same for audiobooks. You can't listen.
- 27:19Speaker 2: You've got to read. Okay.
- 27:21Speaker 1: And a 16-year-old donkey just broke the Guinness Book World
- 27:25Speaker 1: Record for longest ears on a living donkey.
- 27:28Speaker 2: You think he's hearing us talk about him right now?
- 27:30Speaker 1: I know he can. He totally can. They're little satellites
- 27:32Speaker 1: on the side of his head. So his long ears
- 27:35Speaker 1: have always gotten comments because he's a riding donkey. And
- 27:38Speaker 1: people who have gone out on rides with this donkey,
- 27:41Speaker 1: they've always commented, hey, he has really long ears. And
- 27:44Speaker 1: someone had sent the owner an article about the previous
- 27:48Speaker 1: record holder. And kiddingly, he's like, let me measure my
- 27:52Speaker 1: donkey's ears really quick. And he realized that Hank the
- 27:55Speaker 1: donkey's ears were longer by like three inches.
- 27:58Speaker 2: Dang, Hank.
- 27:59Speaker 1: So. So he's like, let me go ahead, call up
- 28:02Speaker 1: the people over at Guinness Book of Records. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 28:05Speaker 1: And the process took about a year, but Hank the donkey,
- 28:09Speaker 1: he is now a record holder. His ears are at 17.12
- 28:11Speaker 1: inches long.
- 28:12Speaker 2: What?
- 28:15Speaker 1: Yeah, Hank the donkey.
- 28:17Speaker 2: They almost like drag on the ground.
- 28:18Speaker 1: Pretty much. Yeah, seriously.
- 28:20Speaker 2: He's so cute.
- 28:22Speaker 1: He is cute. He's adorable. Josh, let's give our next
- 28:25Speaker 1: qualifier a call to let them know they could win
- 28:28Speaker 1: a trip for two from the 303 to NYC from
- 28:31Speaker 1: Mix 100. Hello. Good morning. This is Mix 100 calling
- 28:38Speaker 1: for Julianne with Nina and Josh.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Hi. Hi.
- 28:43Speaker 1: Did we catch you by surprise today?
- 28:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 28:48Speaker 1: Well, we're calling you because you have texted in a
- 28:52Speaker 1: couple of keywords to try to win a trip to
- 28:55Speaker 1: New York to see Harry Styles.
- 28:57Speaker 3: No way.
- 28:58Speaker 1: Well, we wanted to call and give you some good
- 29:00Speaker 1: news that you're officially qualified for that trip.
- 29:03Speaker 2: That's amazing. Thank you so much. I can't even believe it.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Yes. I mean, you're one of the few. We're not getting,
- 29:11Speaker 1: we don't have that many qualifiers. We have lots of
- 29:12Speaker 1: people trying, but not that many qualifiers to win this trip.
- 29:16Speaker 1: So your odds are pretty good.
- 29:19Speaker 3: That's amazing. I'm shaking right now.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Well, it's a great way to start your morning knowing
- 29:25Speaker 1: that you officially qualify. And we're also going to give
- 29:28Speaker 1: you the album for Harry Styles, Kiss All The Time,
- 29:31Speaker 1: Disco Occasionally, that you can hold close. Hey, maybe bring
- 29:35Speaker 1: it with you to New York. See if you can
- 29:37Speaker 1: get it signed or something.
- 29:38Speaker 2: That would be awesome. Yes, absolutely.
- 29:42Speaker 1: Well, Julianne, where are you from?
- 29:44Speaker 2: Westminster.
- 29:44Speaker 1: Westminster. Oh, did you see the mountain lion that was
- 29:48Speaker 1: just out there yesterday?
- 29:50Speaker 2: No, not in my neighborhood. Oh, thank God.
- 29:52Speaker 1: That's good.
- 29:52Speaker 2: And I was out walking at 4.30 this morning, so
- 29:54Speaker 2: I'm really glad he wasn't near me. Oh, bring your mace.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Yeah, seriously. Crazy stuff. I can't believe that's happening. But
- 30:01Speaker 1: at the same time, we are in Colorado, right?
- 30:04Speaker 2: Absolutely. You never know what you're going to see.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Exactly. And you never know what you're going to win.
- 30:08Speaker 1: So congratulations, Julianne. We're so happy. Thank you so, so much.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 30:13Speaker 3: I can't believe it.
- 30:14Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 30:14Speaker 1: I really, really appreciate it. Well, there has been an
- 30:17Speaker 1: update in the investigation of Hayden Panettiere's death. The DEA
- 30:21Speaker 1: believes that Hayden died after taking a pill laced with fentanyl,
- 30:25Speaker 1: some really nasty stuff there. and investigators are trying to
- 30:29Speaker 1: find the person who has been selling her those substances.
- 30:32Speaker 1: They searched her phone, which was filled with texts, a
- 30:35Speaker 1: lot of text messages, back and forth with one individual,
- 30:39Speaker 1: this longtime person that she's gotten her stuff from, and
- 30:43Speaker 1: they had... exchanged words about many different drugs that they're
- 30:49Speaker 1: finding now.
- 30:50Speaker 2: This poor girl.
- 30:51Speaker 1: I know. I mean, she had major, major demons, and
- 30:55Speaker 1: this was how she dealt with it. That's not necessarily
- 30:58Speaker 1: saying that that was right, but she herself just didn't
- 31:02Speaker 1: know how else to deal.
- 31:04Speaker 3: Look, and when you've been through traumas like that, unfortunately,
- 31:07Speaker 3: that is what a lot of people turn to.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Right.
- 31:10Speaker 2: And it is what it is. It's unfortunate. It's a
- 31:11Speaker 2: very unfortunate thing.
- 31:12Speaker 1: It really is. It's so sad. And right now, not
- 31:15Speaker 1: only did they search her phone, they are searching her
- 31:17Speaker 1: home in L.A. And neighbors are even telling police at
- 31:22Speaker 1: her West Hollywood condo complex that three suspicious people would
- 31:27Speaker 1: often come to her door for the past several years,
- 31:30Speaker 1: dropping off small bags. I wonder what was in those.
- 31:33Speaker 1: So they are looking for a couple of individuals missing.
- 31:36Speaker 1: But I think that there is one main person that
- 31:38Speaker 1: they are searching for right now.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Poor girl.
- 31:41Speaker 3: I hate this whole situation. It's such a bummer that
- 31:43Speaker 3: she is gone, obviously, way too soon. It's just a
- 31:47Speaker 3: sad situation. I guess we'll see how it unfolds. Now,
- 31:49Speaker 3: to go to something completely different. The lifestyle queen, Martha Stewart,
- 31:55Speaker 3: has been serving us up recipes for decades now of
- 31:59Speaker 3: how to make cooking better and more interesting recipes. It
- 32:02Speaker 3: seems like she's kind of ready to serve up something
- 32:04Speaker 3: completely different.
- 32:06Speaker 2: What?
- 32:06Speaker 3: She posted on her Instagram earlier how she is literally
- 32:11Speaker 3: just thinking about releasing all of her very intimate photos.
- 32:15Speaker 2: Oh. Nina, I'm talking.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Wait, Martha Stewart said that?
- 32:18Speaker 2: I'm talking nude photos.
- 32:19Speaker 3: I'm talking nude photos from Martha Stewart, the 85-year-old Martha Stewart.
- 32:23Speaker 2: She didn't really offer any more details either. She just said.
- 32:27Speaker 3: She's wondering if maybe it's time to release the stash.
- 32:31Speaker 3: I guess she has a stash of fun little photos
- 32:35Speaker 3: to spice things up.
- 32:36Speaker 2: Now, this is kind of on a roll with other.
- 32:41Speaker 3: Older women starting OnlyFans and things like that.
- 32:44Speaker 2: Now, I'm not saying she wants to start an OnlyFans.
- 32:46Speaker 2: She hasn't said that. However, she said.
- 32:49Speaker 3: hey, maybe I'm ready to do this, and she kind
- 32:50Speaker 3: of posted it with a thirst trap. She's done thirst
- 32:52Speaker 3: traps before.
- 32:53Speaker 1: And she has, and it's gotten a huge reaction. She
- 32:56Speaker 1: looks good. And let's be totally honest, she looks great.
- 32:59Speaker 2: She looks really good.
- 32:59Speaker 1: 80-some years old, Martha Stewart. Yeah, girl, get it. But also,
- 33:04Speaker 1: I don't know who is sitting here necessarily asking for
- 33:07Speaker 1: Martha Stewart's nudes, but thank you for the offer.
- 33:11Speaker 3: There is something out there for everyone in this world.
- 33:15Speaker 3: There's going to be a lot of people... That would
- 33:17Speaker 3: want to see Martha's goodies.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Well, is she bored and just going to release them,
- 33:21Speaker 1: or is she trying to make money? I don't know.
- 33:23Speaker 1: I have questions.
- 33:24Speaker 2: She hasn't answered yet, so we're waiting. We're all waiting
- 33:26Speaker 2: right now. Martha, let us know, girl.
- 33:28Speaker 1: All right, girl. Let's do it. Tyra Banks, she is
- 33:31Speaker 1: trying to get her hands on the unedited footage of
- 33:34Speaker 1: Miss J and J. Manuel's interviews on Netflix for their
- 33:37Speaker 1: documentary of America's Next Top Model. We knew that already,
- 33:42Speaker 1: but producers are denying Tyra scoffing at the request and
- 33:47Speaker 1: now we know why tyra wants it in the first
- 33:49Speaker 1: place so she believes that the footage could help prove
- 33:52Speaker 1: that she was defamed due to producers at netflix selectively
- 33:57Speaker 1: editing these interviews which it's kind of weird to ask
- 34:01Speaker 1: the people that you want to sue for help.
- 34:03Speaker 4: But i know that's interesting you know it's one way
- 34:05Speaker 4: to go about it different way to go yeah Netflix
- 34:08Speaker 4: insists that none of these items are the type of
- 34:10Speaker 4: targeted discovery allowed to prove her claims because Netflix has
- 34:14Speaker 4: been through stuff like this before.
- 34:16Speaker 1: They're saying that her requests are way too broad. They're
- 34:19Speaker 1: not giving her anything, and they are denying her right now.
- 34:22Speaker 1: But Tyra may be coming after Netflix and J. Manuel
- 34:26Speaker 1: and Miss J.
- 34:28Speaker 2: She's in some hot water, though. She doesn't seem like
- 34:30Speaker 2: a great person.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Well, here's the thing. This isn't new. No. She's saying
- 34:34Speaker 1: that this documentary defamed her, but... I mean, girl, you
- 34:38Speaker 1: kind of did it to yourself in the original show.
- 34:41Speaker 3: Yeah, when all of that stuff came out about how
- 34:43Speaker 3: cruel she was in the original show, you can't really
- 34:46Speaker 3: back up.
- 34:47Speaker 1: No.
- 34:47Speaker 2: Like, well, there's a reason for it.
- 34:49Speaker 1: No.
- 34:49Speaker 2: I mean, there's no reason for it.
- 34:51Speaker 1: No, not at all. I don't know. It's just really weird. So, Josh,
- 34:54Speaker 1: yesterday after work, I was exhausted and tired, and I
- 34:59Speaker 1: was here a little bit later than I originally wanted
- 35:01Speaker 1: to be. I had an appointment to drop off my
- 35:04Speaker 1: car last At 11. I didn't drop it off until
- 35:07Speaker 1: after 12.
- 35:08Speaker 3: Oh, I bet they loved you for that one.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Yeah, they loved me for that. And no, I'm not
- 35:13Speaker 1: talking dirty to you right now, Josh, but I had
- 35:16Speaker 1: a crack in my ball joint.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Are you sure?
- 35:18Speaker 1: And that is why I took my car in. Yeah,
- 35:23Speaker 1: ball joint, I guess it's down by the wheel somewhere.
- 35:25Speaker 3: Yes, it's on the wheel base, and it's really important.
- 35:27Speaker 3: If it breaks and falls all the way through, your
- 35:30Speaker 3: wheel will essentially fall off. You don't want that.
- 35:33Speaker 1: It's very dangerous, and I had this crack for a
- 35:36Speaker 1: long time, and I was really pushing it. So I'm like,
- 35:40Speaker 1: I need to get this fixed. I finally got it fixed.
- 35:42Speaker 1: I took it to the mechanic. They told me they
- 35:44Speaker 1: had a really hard time getting it out, but they
- 35:47Speaker 1: eventually fixed it. But it took all three grown men
- 35:51Speaker 1: like pulling on the ball joint to get it out
- 35:54Speaker 1: of my vehicle.
- 35:54Speaker 2: No one likes their ball joint getting yanked out. No
- 35:57Speaker 2: one likes that. And that's I'm really quick.
- 35:59Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 35:59Speaker 2: That's such that's I don't know if it's girl math,
- 36:01Speaker 2: but that's such a. a female way of thinking when
- 36:04Speaker 2: you're like, I waited as long as I could to
- 36:06Speaker 2: get this very important car thing fixed.
- 36:09Speaker 1: Until it started to feel dangerous.
- 36:11Speaker 2: Your wheel could fall off, Nina.
- 36:13Speaker 1: I know.
- 36:14Speaker 2: What are you doing?
- 36:15Speaker 1: I'm being irresponsible.
- 36:16Speaker 2: You have a husband to think about. I know.
- 36:19Speaker 1: And that husband, Josh, he totally judged me yesterday because
- 36:24Speaker 1: when I dropped off my car at the mechanic, it's
- 36:27Speaker 1: not that far from my house. And again, I was
- 36:31Speaker 1: really tired. My day was already going longer than I planned.
- 36:34Speaker 1: I was also starving, hadn't eaten anything yet. And I
- 36:39Speaker 1: needed to just get home ASAP after I dropping off
- 36:42Speaker 1: my car. But it's like less than a mile from
- 36:45Speaker 1: my house. And while I could have walked home, I
- 36:49Speaker 1: did not.
- 36:50Speaker 2: What did you do?
- 36:51Speaker 1: I called a Lyft and I spent $ 10 on a
- 36:54Speaker 1: two minute ride. A. 8 mile ride from the mechanic
- 37:01Speaker 1: to my house.
- 37:02Speaker 2: Okay, all right.
- 37:02Speaker 1: I was hangry and I was grumpy and I was
- 37:04Speaker 1: sleepy and I just wanted to get home.
- 37:08Speaker 2: No, we're going to break it down. We're going to
- 37:09Speaker 2: break it down in a second. Okay, I understand the hangriness.
- 37:11Speaker 2: I get it.
- 37:12Speaker 3: When we work this job, sometimes I don't like to
- 37:14Speaker 3: eat breakfast that early in the morning.
- 37:16Speaker 2: Before our show starts.
- 37:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:18Speaker 3: And then really, we don't get to have our first
- 37:20Speaker 3: meal of the day till like noon or one.
- 37:22Speaker 2: It's like lunchtime. I understand that. And I get it.
- 37:24Speaker 2: I'm starving too. It's a thing.
- 37:27Speaker 3: I totally get that. However, you have also been making
- 37:31Speaker 3: it a point to get.
- 37:32Speaker 2: Some steps in. You like to work out.
- 37:33Speaker 3: I know.
- 37:33Speaker 2: You're trying to get the blood flowing.
- 37:35Speaker 3: You know.
- 37:35Speaker 2: And I thought about it.
- 37:36Speaker 1: Too I was like and.
- 37:38Speaker 2: You were just like hell nah.
- 37:39Speaker 1: I was like nah forget it like I just want
- 37:41Speaker 1: to get home and I just need to eat something
- 37:43Speaker 1: now and instead of a 15 minute walk I took
- 37:48Speaker 1: a two minute lift ride.
- 37:49Speaker 3: Home I just feel like couldn't if you were so
- 37:51Speaker 3: hungry couldn't you have just maybe walked to a closer
- 37:54Speaker 3: restaurant eaten there for an hour and then picked up
- 37:57Speaker 3: your car.
- 37:57Speaker 1: It was not an hour job Josh okay they had
- 38:01Speaker 1: to fix the crack in my ball joint I already
- 38:04Speaker 1: explained this Three things you got to know before you
- 38:07Speaker 1: go today. This voting season in Colorado has more than
- 38:12Speaker 1: a dozen statewide measures on top of everything else in
- 38:15Speaker 1: the ballots, which already seem like longer ballots. And this
- 38:19Speaker 1: year we are being warned that, yeah, it's going to
- 38:22Speaker 1: be even bigger than it has ever been before. So
- 38:26Speaker 1: yesterday on National Voter Registration Day, we are being reminded
- 38:30Speaker 1: to vote early this year because of these longer ballots.
- 38:34Speaker 1: And it is going to take longer to finalize. So
- 38:36Speaker 1: the earlier you vote, the faster we will get our results.
- 38:40Speaker 1: So October 2nd is the first day that ballots can
- 38:43Speaker 1: be mailed out in Colorado. And October 9th is the
- 38:47Speaker 1: deadline for initial mailing. And the 2026 general election in Colorado,
- 38:52Speaker 1: of course, will be held November 3rd. And just a reminder,
- 38:56Speaker 1: vote for whoever you want to. We're not going to
- 38:58Speaker 1: get into all of that. But voting is important. So
- 39:01Speaker 1: make sure you're registered. Check your status on that. It's
- 39:04Speaker 1: about voting season, but it's going to be really long
- 39:07Speaker 1: ballots this year.
- 39:08Speaker 2: So get to it early.
- 39:10Speaker 3: Should I be the one that fills it out the
- 39:12Speaker 3: way I fill out my Scantrons? Just go A, B, C, D, A, B, C.
- 39:14Speaker 2: D, A, B, C, D?
- 39:15Speaker 1: Probably not.
- 39:16Speaker 3: No?
- 39:17Speaker 2: Oh, I've got to read it.
- 39:18Speaker 1: I can't tell you how to vote, Josh, but I
- 39:20Speaker 1: wouldn't do it that way.
- 39:21Speaker 2: Some people might actually vote like that. Anyway, Nina. I
- 39:25Speaker 2: have a very important PSA for people. I feel like
- 39:27Speaker 2: in Colorado, there are so many people that either own
- 39:29Speaker 2: a Subaru or a Toyota. That's like the major car
- 39:32Speaker 2: brands here. We love our 4Runners. We love our CRVs.
- 39:35Speaker 3: Well, Toyota is recalling more than 8,500 electric vehicles because
- 39:39Speaker 3: of a software issue that causes them to completely shut off.
- 39:43Speaker 3: And that is very, very bad, especially if you're on
- 39:46Speaker 3: a highway, a freeway. anything like that, you automatically lose
- 39:49Speaker 3: drive power.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Really?
- 39:50Speaker 2: You can't go anymore. So this is a big thing.
- 39:52Speaker 3: The recall covers 8,500 models of the 2026 Toyota C-H-R. Okay,
- 39:58Speaker 3: so it's their electric C-H-R vehicle, according to the National
- 40:01Speaker 3: Highway of Traffic Safety.
- 40:03Speaker 1: So this is their electric vehicle. Does it have anything
- 40:06Speaker 1: to do with that?
- 40:07Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just an update that has kind of gone wrong.
- 40:10Speaker 3: And they're working on fixing it, obviously, right now.
- 40:13Speaker 2: It's a big deal.
- 40:13Speaker 3: This is one that you do not want to kind
- 40:16Speaker 3: of be like a Nina, like she was talking about earlier,
- 40:18Speaker 3: how she waited until the last minute to get her
- 40:20Speaker 3: car fixed.
- 40:21Speaker 2: No, don't do that. There's a couple different ways you
- 40:24Speaker 2: can do it. You can bring it in. They are
- 40:26Speaker 2: doing resets and recalls and things like that.
- 40:28Speaker 3: It's just a software issue. You need to automatically do that.
- 40:31Speaker 3: The automaker determined... last month that you could conduct a
- 40:36Speaker 3: voluntary safety recall. But it's definitely something that you want
- 40:40Speaker 3: to be doing. The owner notification letters are going to
- 40:42Speaker 3: be sent out and mailed October 18th. For people that
- 40:46Speaker 3: are dealing with that software issue, they will fix it
- 40:47Speaker 3: for free for you.
- 40:48Speaker 2: This is on them. Okay. So it's for free.
- 40:50Speaker 1: But that's like a month away.
- 40:52Speaker 2: But just be careful and be cautious. Well, you can
- 40:54Speaker 2: do the voluntary one right now.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Yeah, do that.
- 40:57Speaker 2: Which I would suggest just because you don't want to
- 40:58Speaker 2: have all of a sudden no power on the highway.
- 41:00Speaker 1: Imagine an I-25 or I-70. No, thank you.
- 41:03Speaker 3: Well, I-25 is like the freaking Autobahn anyway, so you
- 41:06Speaker 3: don't want to lose your power there. So if you
- 41:08Speaker 3: have a Toyota CH-R, again, that's the electric one, just
- 41:11Speaker 3: be cautious and be careful.
- 41:12Speaker 1: Yeah, please. And it smelled a little smoky along the
- 41:15Speaker 1: front range yesterday in Denver, Fort Collins, and in Boulder.
- 41:18Speaker 1: And it might smell just a little bit again this morning.
- 41:21Speaker 1: But don't worry, there's no new fires in Colorado. That
- 41:24Speaker 1: smoke is actually drifting in from Wyoming and Montana. And
- 41:28Speaker 1: those who are sensitive to changes in air quality, I
- 41:31Speaker 1: know a lot of people are very sensitive to that.
- 41:33Speaker 1: You can rest easy because it's not really going to
- 41:35Speaker 1: affect our air quality here. But you could smell a
- 41:39Speaker 1: little bit of that smokiness. But you can still go
- 41:41Speaker 1: for those outdoor walks or those runs. Unless you're me
- 41:45Speaker 1: and you order an Uber for that two-minute ride.
- 41:48Speaker 2: Don't even get me started.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Sorry, Josh.
- 41:49Speaker 2: Don't even.
- 41:50Speaker 1: I told you you were going to judge me. I
- 41:52Speaker 1: hate you. It's Denver's Morning Show with Nina and Josh
- 41:55Speaker 1: on Mix 100, and this is around the time we
- 41:58Speaker 1: play the game of the day, which is called Just
- 42:01Speaker 1: a Sec Today. We're playing a one-second song clip. We
- 42:04Speaker 1: want you to give us the title and artist. Callie
- 42:07Speaker 1: in Longmont, you doing okay today?
- 42:09Speaker 2: I'm doing good.
- 42:10Speaker 1: I'm getting Starbucks before school, but I'm running kind of late. Oh,
- 42:13Speaker 1: all right. So we'll make this quick, Callie, because I
- 42:15Speaker 1: know you know what this song is, but I'm going
- 42:17Speaker 1: to play for you one more time, okay?
- 42:19Speaker 2: Okay.
- 42:21Speaker 1: Okay, give me the title and the artist of that song.
- 42:26Speaker 1: I think it's Levitating by Dua Lipa.
- 42:28Speaker 4: It is Levitating by Dua Lipa.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Congratulations. You're our winner right now. Thank you. You're welcome.
- 42:38Speaker 1: You're going to go to a show tomorrow. You're going
- 42:39Speaker 1: to see gym class heroes at Mission Ballroom. All right.
- 42:42Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
- 42:44Speaker 1: Of course. I know you got things to do, but
- 42:46Speaker 1: go ahead and tell me what station just hooked it up.
- 42:48Speaker 1: It's 100... I love that Callie was treating herself before
- 42:52Speaker 1: going into school today. She's like, I'm going to show
- 42:54Speaker 1: up to class a little bit late with my Starbucks,
- 42:57Speaker 1: but that's okay.
- 42:58Speaker 2: It's okay, as long as you get that coffee in you, right?
- 43:00Speaker 1: Yes, it's needed for sure. I mean, it's the middle
- 43:03Speaker 1: of the week. And the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
- 43:06Speaker 1: Walk is returning October 11th to Tivoli Quad at the
- 43:10Speaker 1: Auroria campus. We need your help. We want you to
- 43:13Speaker 1: make a difference by signing up your own team for
- 43:16Speaker 1: American Cancer Society's Making Strides of Colorado. Maybe you join
- 43:20Speaker 1: a team, maybe create your own team, or you can
- 43:22Speaker 1: just donate to the cause. October coming up, everything is
- 43:26Speaker 1: going to be pretty and pink. And we want you
- 43:28Speaker 1: to be a part of it.
- 43:29Speaker 2: Heck yeah.
- 43:29Speaker 3: It's going to be an amazing thing that helps save
- 43:31Speaker 3: people's lives. And Nina, I think you and I should
- 43:33Speaker 3: team up, right?
- 43:34Speaker 1: I think we should. Let's start this week. We need
- 43:37Speaker 1: to make our team. And then we'll have a link
- 43:39Speaker 1: for people to sign up for our team.
- 43:41Speaker 2: Let's do it. I love it.
- 43:42Speaker 1: That would be a lot of fun.
- 43:43Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 43:43Speaker 1: When you reach your golden years, it's a little difficult
- 43:46Speaker 1: to decide exactly what you want to do. It's exciting
- 43:49Speaker 1: to retire. But my parents are kind of going through
- 43:52Speaker 1: this right now. In your retirement, sometimes you get a
- 43:55Speaker 1: little bored. You're like, I don't even know what to
- 43:57Speaker 1: do with myself. So there's a really fun story of
- 44:01Speaker 1: one retiree and what they decided to do.
- 44:03Speaker 2: It's so cute.
- 44:04Speaker 3: A 91-year-old man named Eric Edwards has been working at
- 44:07Speaker 3: McDonald's for eight years, not because he needs to at all,
- 44:10Speaker 3: but because he genuinely loves it. eric gain online love
- 44:14Speaker 3: and appreciation recently when a social media post featuring him
- 44:17Speaker 3: went viral sadly his wife had passed away 24 years
- 44:20Speaker 3: ago but he says working here helps him stay engaged
- 44:23Speaker 3: and also enjoy life he added if it's something you
- 44:26Speaker 3: can still do reasonably well and you enjoy it keeps
- 44:29Speaker 3: you going why stop i love love love that mindset
- 44:33Speaker 3: of his i think it's so cute and i think
- 44:35Speaker 3: getting up and having kind of a purpose for the day,
- 44:37Speaker 3: especially at that age.
- 44:38Speaker 1: Yeah, totally.
- 44:39Speaker 3: Gives you longevity in life. I think that is adorable.
- 44:41Speaker 3: So McDonald's, hats off to you, Eric Edwards.
- 44:44Speaker 1: Yes, thank you so much for that. Josh, I have
- 44:46Speaker 1: a friend, and she is the sweetest, cutest little thing ever.
- 44:51Speaker 1: And she pulled a Nina where she actually just bought
- 44:55Speaker 1: a house with her boyfriend before getting married, engaged, any
- 44:58Speaker 1: of that.
- 44:59Speaker 2: Oh, boy.
- 44:59Speaker 1: That's its own subject. We'll talk about that someday. But.
- 45:02Speaker 2: We're going to need to.
- 45:03Speaker 1: Yeah. Her being in this new house, I know from
- 45:08Speaker 1: experience when you are able to finally buy your first house, yes,
- 45:11Speaker 1: you are excited. Yes, you can't wait to decorate. But
- 45:15Speaker 1: you're also very house broke in the beginning.
- 45:18Speaker 2: Oh, yes. Yeah.
- 45:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:19Speaker 2: Yes. Yeah.
- 45:19Speaker 1: You just spend all your money getting the house. Yeah.
- 45:21Speaker 2: I remember that. It's not fun.
- 45:23Speaker 3: You have like cardboard as some of your nightstands. You're like,
- 45:25Speaker 3: that'll work for a little bit, right?
- 45:26Speaker 2: It's fine.
- 45:27Speaker 1: It's all right. We'll worry about that later. Yeah, exactly.
- 45:30Speaker 1: But my friend, she just got into her new house
- 45:33Speaker 1: maybe a month or two ago. And yesterday she posted
- 45:36Speaker 1: a video of all her new fall decorations. And she's
- 45:40Speaker 1: so excited and proud about how many decorations she put
- 45:44Speaker 1: up in her new house. Of course, she had the
- 45:46Speaker 1: wreath on the front door with all the leaves on it,
- 45:49Speaker 1: little scarecrows all over the place. She has a whole
- 45:52Speaker 1: little table display for football season.
- 45:54Speaker 2: Just awesome. So she's going all out. Full nine yards, right?
- 45:57Speaker 2: She went all out.
- 45:58Speaker 1: And all I could think of as a homeowner is
- 46:02Speaker 1: how much money she spent on these decorations. And these
- 46:06Speaker 1: are just fall decorations. It's not even for Halloween or
- 46:09Speaker 1: anything like that.
- 46:10Speaker 2: Is she the type she's going to change everything for Halloween?
- 46:12Speaker 1: Oh, for sure.
- 46:14Speaker 2: For sure.
- 46:16Speaker 1: So I'm curious your thoughts on decorating the house. Do
- 46:20Speaker 1: you do it? How much effort and time and money
- 46:23Speaker 1: do you put into it in decorating your house for
- 46:26Speaker 1: each season?
- 46:27Speaker 2: Yeah, so, okay, I'm a guy. I live alone. I
- 46:30Speaker 2: don't decorate my house at all. It's very... Gosh, if
- 46:35Speaker 2: you walked through my house, you'd be like, yeah, a
- 46:37Speaker 2: guy owns this place. It's just a thing. Bachelor pad.
- 46:39Speaker 2: For me, last year, when I put up my Christmas tree,
- 46:41Speaker 2: I have a Christmas tree.
- 46:42Speaker 1: That's good.
- 46:43Speaker 2: I put it up. The lights are already pre-hung on it,
- 46:47Speaker 2: and I do no decorations.
- 46:48Speaker 1: No? You don't put up any ornaments or anything on it?
- 46:51Speaker 2: I put that thing together, plug it in, and I'm like,
- 46:53Speaker 2: all right, Merry Christmas, Josh. There we go. I'm minimalist
- 46:57Speaker 2: as it can be. But I will say, she's a
- 47:00Speaker 2: new homeowner. I understand the excitement. Yeah. Me personally, I
- 47:04Speaker 2: give it one full season. We'll give it the holiday season.
- 47:07Speaker 2: So I'm talking.
- 47:08Speaker 3: We'll give you fall. So fall through Valentine's Day. And
- 47:11Speaker 3: then after that, she's like, it's too expensive. I'm not
- 47:14Speaker 3: doing this again.
- 47:15Speaker 1: I don't know. I really wonder because she did, in
- 47:17Speaker 1: her little blurb on her video about all of her decorations,
- 47:20Speaker 1: she posted that.
- 47:21Speaker 2: She made a video about this?
- 47:23Speaker 1: She did.
- 47:23Speaker 2: She's vlogging her decoration experience?
- 47:26Speaker 1: She is excited, I'm telling you. She's very much this
- 47:29Speaker 1: kind of person. And she came from, she lived at home, okay?
- 47:33Speaker 1: She lived at home with her parents.
- 47:35Speaker 2: Oh, so she has some stuff saved then, right?
- 47:36Speaker 1: I don't know if it's her stuff because she mentioned
- 47:39Speaker 1: that her mom always decorated her house for every holiday,
- 47:43Speaker 1: every season, every change that the world is going through
- 47:47Speaker 1: or whatever. Her mom was just always decorating the house
- 47:50Speaker 1: like to the nines. And so inspiration from that, that's
- 47:53Speaker 1: what she wanted to do in her home. She's excited
- 47:55Speaker 1: to make it her own. But I'm like, girl, how
- 47:57Speaker 1: much money are you spending on all these decorations? Like,
- 48:00Speaker 1: don't go into debt.
- 48:01Speaker 2: Hobby Lobby ain't cheap. I know that.
- 48:03Speaker 3: No, this is just one of those things, like, it
- 48:05Speaker 3: just shows the vast difference between guys' and girls' brains.
- 48:08Speaker 3: Just because, for me, like, when you get the house,
- 48:10Speaker 3: I'm so excited for it. I want to obviously decorate
- 48:13Speaker 3: it a certain style, but for me, when I first
- 48:15Speaker 3: got it, I was like, Star Wars. I want Star
- 48:17Speaker 3: Wars decorations everywhere. Stop.
- 48:19Speaker 2: I want to get everything I couldn't get as a child.
- 48:21Speaker 2: This is what I want. And then for her, she's like,
- 48:23Speaker 2: fall and Halloween. I know.
- 48:24Speaker 1: It's just so many orange leaves and stuff. And don't
- 48:26Speaker 1: get me wrong. I was this way in the beginning, too,
- 48:29Speaker 1: decorating all the time. But it's just a matter of time.
- 48:31Speaker 3: This is why men need women in their lives. We
- 48:33Speaker 3: need a decorator because I don't have an eye for.
- 48:35Speaker 2: It at all.
- 48:36Speaker 1: Well, you have an eye for it, and sometimes it's
- 48:38Speaker 1: fun to do, but like you said, for that first
- 48:40Speaker 1: season and then afterwards, you get so burnt out for it.
- 48:43Speaker 3: So tiring.
- 48:43Speaker 1: So I'm like, oh, my sweet, sweet Hannah. It's really
- 48:46Speaker 1: cute for now, but girl, just wait. It'll go away.
- 48:49Speaker 1: Don't worry. It'll go away.
