- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, it's time for Stacks and Hacks. I have
- 0:01Speaker 1: stacks of information. Rich has life hacks.
- 0:04Speaker 2: What would you do if you went to the ATM,
- 0:06Speaker 2: saw a bag on top of the ATM machine, grabbed
- 0:09Speaker 2: the bag, and you're like, oh, what's this about?
- 0:10Speaker 1: And inside the bag was $ 128, 000. Oh, that's a lot. Wow, wow, wow.
- 0:12Speaker 3: And also not your money.
- 0:17Speaker 2: That happened to a guy. He found it on top
- 0:20Speaker 2: of a Bank of America ATM. And he thought there
- 0:23Speaker 2: was a Chick-fil-A down the street. He goes, this probably
- 0:25Speaker 2: belongs to Chick-fil-A. So he took it to Chick-fil-A. And
- 0:27Speaker 2: the Chick-fil-A manager goes, it's not ours. Which is interesting, too,
- 0:31Speaker 2: because I'd be like, yeah, yeah, sure, leave it there.
- 0:33Speaker 3: Anyway. Right into the bank where the ATM is?
- 0:36Speaker 1: No, I don't know what happened.
- 0:37Speaker 3: It's got to be from Chick-fil-A.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Anyway, he turned it in.
- 0:40Speaker 3: Oh. That's good karma.
- 0:42Speaker 4: Good for him.
- 0:43Speaker 3: I hope whoever, you know, left that money gave him
- 0:45Speaker 3: a little bit of cash just for a thank you.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Investigators think a Brinks technician serviced the ATM, was supposed
- 0:52Speaker 2: to take the money, but left.
- 0:53Speaker 1: It by the machine. I bet you that was, he
- 0:56Speaker 1: got in big trouble later that day.
- 0:57Speaker 3: Yeah, he's lucky that they kept that.
- 0:59Speaker 2: This happened in Arizona, by the way, and I've been
- 1:01Speaker 2: watching this story and watching this story and hoping to
- 1:05Speaker 2: get some sort of update. There's no update. This happened
- 1:08Speaker 2: a couple days ago in Gilbert on Lindsay and Guadalupe.
- 1:12Speaker 2: There was an emu stuck in a canal.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Oh, I saw that.
- 1:15Speaker 2: A giant emu. And the cops caught the emu. And
- 1:19Speaker 2: then put it in the back of their car and
- 1:21Speaker 2: took it to an animal rescue place. They don't know
- 1:22Speaker 2: whose emu it is.
- 1:24Speaker 1: They still don't know. Still don't know.
- 1:25Speaker 3: They don't tag them like doggies? No.
- 1:27Speaker 1: So if you have, it's not chipped.
- 1:28Speaker 4: And you know that cop that was like his first
- 1:30Speaker 4: day on training.
- 1:31Speaker 3: On the job? Oh, really? Yeah.
- 1:32Speaker 1: He's like, he goes, oh my gosh, not what I
- 1:34Speaker 1: thought I'd be doing today.
- 1:35Speaker 4: Because I think some, some nice bystanders were able to
- 1:39Speaker 4: get the emu out of the drain.
- 1:42Speaker 1: They had the body cam footage of the cops getting
- 1:43Speaker 1: it out of there. It's pretty wild. I watched it.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Have you guys heard about boomers hoarding jobs?
- 1:48Speaker 3: No.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Neither do me.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Hoarding jobs. I guess there's boomers or hoarding jobs. Gen
- 1:52Speaker 2: Z wants millennials to retire so they can have their jobs.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Millennials to retire? I guess.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I don't think so. Old enough to retire.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Where is the germiest place you go without realizing it?
- 2:02Speaker 3: Port-a-potties. Well, I guess you realize that that's Germany. You
- 2:05Speaker 3: know that is. I would say.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I think you'd be very surprised by this answer.
- 2:09Speaker 3: I would say the grocery store, like wherever you press buttons.
- 2:11Speaker 3: That's kind of what I was thinking.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Close.
- 2:13Speaker 2: The Jeremy's Place should go without realizing a new report
- 2:15Speaker 2: says it's the pharmacy, especially the ones in stores like
- 2:18Speaker 2: CVS or Walgreens where many people are sick and touching everything.
- 2:21Speaker 1: I think about that every time I walk by a pharmacy. Like,
- 2:25Speaker 1: I have to hold my breath.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:27Speaker 2: The dating app Upward, never heard of it, but it's
- 2:30Speaker 2: called Upward, has a new feature where it's called chivalry mode.
- 2:33Speaker 2: It's for women who don't want to make the first move.
- 2:36Speaker 2: There's also a marriage timeline which lets you suggest a
- 2:38Speaker 2: proposed wedding date.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Whoa. Ridiculous.
- 2:41Speaker 3: A little aggressive.
- 2:43Speaker 2: A 26-year-old guy in Georgia was arrested last week after
- 2:45Speaker 2: he faked a medical emergency and called 911 to avoid
- 2:47Speaker 2: pain for his red lobster.
- 2:48Speaker 1: I saw that. He owed $ 63, thought his illness would
- 2:51Speaker 1: get him out of it.
- 2:52Speaker 3: Ridiculous.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Researchers just looked at breakfast times of more than 31,000 adults,
- 2:57Speaker 2: and they found that the healthiest time to eat your
- 3:00Speaker 2: first meal was.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Between 7 and 8 a.m.
- 3:03Speaker 2: People who waited until noon to eat breakfast had a 29%
- 3:06Speaker 2: higher risk of death.
- 3:08Speaker 4: What?
- 3:09Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh.
- 3:10Speaker 1: I don't eat until 1.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Get your eggs in.
- 3:11Speaker 1: I'm out of that window, I think.
- 3:13Speaker 2: A poll asked people who say they've seen spirits or ghosts,
- 3:17Speaker 2: if they believe they were good or evil.
- 3:19Speaker 3: That's a good question.
- 3:21Speaker 1: 35% of people think the spirits or ghosts were good. 5%
- 3:25Speaker 1: said they were evil. Most people say neutral. They've seen
- 3:29Speaker 1: a mix of good and bad.
- 3:31Speaker 3: A neutral ghost.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like I have seen both.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Really?
- 3:33Speaker 1: You have?
- 3:33Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Cause you had that one. It was like your alarm
- 3:35Speaker 1: clock or whatever. All that.
- 3:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:37Speaker 2: I didn't see that, but I did hear that one,
- 3:39Speaker 2: but I did see a different, very evil one.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:42Speaker 2: And this is a fun one to wrap up my
- 3:44Speaker 2: part of stacks and hacks. If the monopoly properties were
- 3:48Speaker 2: adjusted based on today's prices.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Okay.
- 3:51Speaker 1: What do you think is the lowest? What do you
- 3:53Speaker 1: think is the highest, most expensive property?
- 3:54Speaker 3: Baltic would probably be the lowest.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Mediterranean Avenue would be the lowest.
- 3:59Speaker 3: Hmm. That's the light blue one.
- 4:00Speaker 4: The first one.
- 4:02Speaker 2: No, that's what do you think could be the most
- 4:03Speaker 2: expensive park place? Boardwalk and Park Place would not be
- 4:07Speaker 2: the most expensive. It would fall to sixth. The most
- 4:10Speaker 2: expensive rent would be Marvin Gardens, one of the yellows,
- 4:14Speaker 2: followed by Pacific Avenue, a green, Connecticut Avenue, the light blue-gray,
- 4:18Speaker 2: Virginia Avenue, purple, and North Carolina Avenue, which is green.
- 4:21Speaker 3: Because of all the gentrification and monopoly? Connecticut.
- 4:25Speaker 1: The light blue, that surprises me.
- 4:26Speaker 3: That's one of the cheapest ones.
- 4:28Speaker 1: What do you got for life hacks, Rich?
- 4:29Speaker 4: Well, if you're constantly forgetting the little things that you
- 4:32Speaker 4: need to get done. Anybody like that?
- 4:33Speaker 3: Yeah. Forget the little things?
- 4:35Speaker 4: Well, experts say, you know, there is a really good
- 4:38Speaker 4: way to do this, and you should kind of do
- 4:40Speaker 4: it every day. So write your list in the Notes app.
- 4:44Speaker 4: Take a screenshot and make that picture of your phone's
- 4:48Speaker 4: lock screen. So now every time you grab your phone,
- 4:50Speaker 4: there it is. Return the package, grab the dog food,
- 4:52Speaker 4: call the dentist, whatever. You keep forgetting. And as you
- 4:55Speaker 4: knock things out, you can update the screenshot automatically. But
- 4:58Speaker 4: there's something weirdly satisfying about watching that list disappear. Your
- 5:02Speaker 4: phone actually distracts you.
- 5:03Speaker 3: All day anyway.
- 5:04Speaker 4: Might as well make it remind you of something useful.
- 5:06Speaker 4: That life hack and many more can be found at JohnGeneRich.com.
