- 0:00Hey, everyone. We are here today at Nature Inspired Therapies. We caught Jen
- 0:04Baker at Reno Startup Week. And now we get her for a
- 0:07few minutes before she flies off on an adventure that she's
- 0:11going on. So we have been around, and I
- 0:15did get to do the red light therapy. You guys have so many cool
- 0:18therapies here. But I want to know from you, like,
- 0:22what inspired Nature Inspired? Sure,
- 0:26Yeah. What inspired it is, my whole life I've had
- 0:29different challenges, and so everyone I cared about.
- 0:33Right. When you care about someone, you care about what's going on with them. And
- 0:38there was a lot of answers that weren't
- 0:41brought to us from, you know, talking to our doctors. Our doctors
- 0:45didn't have a lot of time to sit and talk about what was happening.
- 0:48We women share a lot, and when we share
- 0:52our challenges and our problems,
- 0:56we tend to want to find solutions. I'm a solution provider. Come to find out.
- 0:59I love to dig into a good challenge if I don't really care what
- 1:03kind. So for me, it was digging into people's health challenges because I
- 1:07cared about them personally. It was my own health challenges that brought
- 1:11me a bunch of answers. In the early 80s, I started
- 1:14studying natural wellness medicines and
- 1:18cures as they would, you know, and the books all said that. So Dr.
- 1:21Weil and Dr. Chopra and several other doctors that I can't
- 1:25even remember. But all the books that I could get my hands on for
- 1:29natural healing, I did. And so I read a lot about herbs,
- 1:32a lot about heat, and that's what helped me with my
- 1:37chronic challenges. So herbs and heat? Yeah,
- 1:41yeah. When I was eight years old, they bought me a waterbed. It was the
- 1:44greatest thing they ever did because I had chronic back pain already.
- 1:48I had a car crash when I was two months old, so the
- 1:52pain as I was growing was insane. And so we had knee problems.
- 1:56All girls, I think all boys and girls. As you grow, you have
- 1:59ligament challenges. And they're like, it's okay, and they just want to give you
- 2:02Tylenol or something like that. And those things just didn't work for my
- 2:06body, so I had to find other ways to make myself feel better.
- 2:10And that's really where it started, is as a child, I was trying to figure
- 2:13out other ways to do things because my body just didn't want to. So
- 2:17you were looking into these things as a child? As a child, make yourself
- 2:21feel better? Yeah, yeah. And when you stick your feet in the dirt
- 2:25in a hot day, like on the spring day when the sun's out and you
- 2:28Dig your feet into the dirt and you go, oh. And you get those goosebumps
- 2:31in your body. You start realizing there's something to that. So
- 2:35honestly, that's where it started as a child. Oh, interesting. Since then,
- 2:39the older I got, the more I heard from other people of challenges they were
- 2:43having, and I started looking into more answers. I was like, well, if this
- 2:46works, then maybe this will work for you. And so my whole life,
- 2:50even though I did, you know, big business things, I ran casinos, I did
- 2:54policy work and political consulting and business and speaker and
- 2:58books of my own. On the private side, I've always been
- 3:02in a natural wellness and gadget. Interesting. Gadgets.
- 3:06Kitchen gadgets. Wellness gadgets has been my thing.
- 3:10Kitchen gadgets and wellness kitchen gadgets is. Started the
- 3:13gadgets kitchen. Wellness gadgets. Or they're two different things. No, I
- 3:17started 25 years, 30 years ago in kitchens. I realized every
- 3:21gadget that I found, I was like, oh, I could play with that in the
- 3:23kitchen. I loved it. And so I would buy gadgets, and then as
- 3:27gadgets came available, I call them gadgets because why not? It makes
- 3:31it more fun. Right? Right. These modalities are
- 3:34amazing tools, but they started out with little vibration
- 3:38tools and little. I'll show you as we go through, there's a
- 3:42little comb thing that you can comb through your hair, and it'll just send
- 3:45all your energies off the hook. Feels amazing. Gives you
- 3:49goosebumps. Oh, interesting. So these are gadgets. They're little. Yeah. I don't know.
- 3:53At the store, you could buy them for 20, 30 bucks. No big deal. It
- 3:56was easy. And as they grew, obviously you get some more
- 4:00really amazing tools from just wellness and healing. Right. And
- 4:04so I've always been into, what can I use? That's the
- 4:07answer, always. As we grew, it just evolved into
- 4:11more. I knew when I was done with my plan, political policy,
- 4:15and that part of it, when I was, felt like I
- 4:18had done enough, had enough, done enough one way or the other. How long
- 4:22were you doing that before. I was gonna leave when I turned 50 to come
- 4:26and do this. Okay. So that was always my. That was my probably 15
- 4:29year plan. All right. And I said, I don't know how it's gonna work out.
- 4:33I don't know what it'll look like, but this is what I wanted to do.
- 4:36And I put it together over the last 15 years.
- 4:40That's amazing. Yeah, it was kind of exciting. So.
- 4:43So how. But this hasn't been open very long, right? No,
- 4:47in fact, technically opened July 1st
- 4:51of 2024. So, okay, so a little over a year.
- 4:54I feel like I remember that because I feel like I met you guys at
- 4:59some kind of expo of some sort. You were at
- 5:03maybe it was at a casino here in town. We are in Reno, after all.
- 5:07It was the Bridal Expo. The Bridal Expo. Am I right? I
- 5:11think that's. Yeah, that seems right. That seems right. Shirley and I
- 5:14have been friends for. We work together in the business
- 5:18world. Right. For many years. And so she said, I want you to
- 5:22come do this. And I said, we're brand new. We really don't need a lot
- 5:24of leads right now. What we need is to get everything settled. And she said,
- 5:28I want you to do it. So I was blessed. I got to see you
- 5:31and. Yeah, yeah. Speaking some time with some really great people. So it was fun
- 5:34to spend time with Shirley. And we'll do it again this year. Yeah,
- 5:38we'll just keep doing it. So you're a year into it and it's
- 5:42been busy. Very busy. Our soft
- 5:45opening was I opened the doors to veterans and first
- 5:49responders on day one. That was July 1st. That's awesome. Those were free
- 5:53services the whole day. And then from then,
- 5:57we did a soft opening for friends and family only from July.
- 6:01Well, yeah, July through November. And November
- 6:0515th is our one year anniversary. Nice. So that's
- 6:09coming up, which is exciting. And so technically, in business,
- 6:13we didn't have everything down until later in July, but we
- 6:17opened pretty quickly. We got our business license somewhere in June. Okay.
- 6:21And three weeks later, we opened the doors with equipment from all over the
- 6:25world. Yeah, there's a lot of amazing equipment here. Thank you. I've
- 6:28got to experience some of it for sure. I was really excited for you to.
- 6:32Try the red bed. It's an easy, simple thing to get inside of.
- 6:36And you walk out with a feeling of something different.
- 6:40Yeah, you feel. It kind of feels like you've been at the
- 6:43beach for several hours. What do you think
- 6:47of that? Is that a good analogy? Yeah, that's a
- 6:51good one. Yeah, I like that a lot. Okay, so of the ones
- 6:55here, like, which ones are your favorites?
- 6:59All of them are my favorites for different reasons. But the one I
- 7:03use most is the Brain Tap. It's the one that.
- 7:07Probably one of the least expensive things we have in the building.
- 7:12It's a brain fitness therapy. And the older we get, the more
- 7:15stressed we are, the more electromagnetic fields we have around us,
- 7:20the more kids we have, the more everything
- 7:24you find that you want to feel good again and Everything
- 7:27in wellness starts with your brain, I believe.
- 7:32It's been great for me. Yeah. And I remember coming in,
- 7:35was it, I don't remember earlier this year, I think it was earlier this year
- 7:39and you had me do the brain tap and it was on such a bad
- 7:42day. I was having a very, very bad day. And
- 7:46I remember you going like, I was 15 years older than I.
- 7:50I mean biologically, just like you did a scan beforehand and then we did
- 7:53it afterwards and I was still, my body was still older than
- 7:57I am, but it took off 10 years. But you felt
- 8:01so much different, right? Yeah, like about 10 years of.
- 8:05I don't understand all that, but yeah, yeah. And the report that I
- 8:08did is a heart rate variability report. All medical,
- 8:12we all track heart rate variability. So it just showed your
- 8:16biological age, your stress index, your inflammation in your body,
- 8:20and it's all based on how the blood flows through your body. So it's not
- 8:24some kind of, as they call it, woo woo wellness modality that
- 8:27tricks you into believing. I have a lot of people that say, so what
- 8:31is this? And I said, everything we do in here, I
- 8:35track and measure it. I think that
- 8:39the biggest piece for me to walk into this space and create
- 8:42a disruption to the wellness industry was we have to start
- 8:46showing the scientific and medical backing
- 8:50of the things that we do. It's one thing to get on a
- 8:54revive mat, take a nap and get up and you go, well, of course, I
- 8:57always feel better when I take a nap, right? Yes.
- 9:00And I felt the same way the first time I did it until they told
- 9:03me there was a measurement report and then I was all in and I
- 9:07tested them five times in the same weekend to make sure
- 9:11I made them do it over and over and over again just to show me.
- 9:14I actually found the Brain Tap a couple of years ago, long
- 9:17before I did this. I was speaking at an expo, an
- 9:21international expo down in la. And it was a big chaotic,
- 9:25you know, it's a lot going on in a hundred thousand square foot building and
- 9:29people from all over and it was noisy and chaotic and
- 9:34all I cared about is I had just finished speaking, I was freezing cold,
- 9:38I was wearing a dress and high heels and I'd been on my feet
- 9:42for hours and I saw someone cuddled up on those warm,
- 9:46yummy blankets and a black mat with. And they looked like they were
- 9:49sleeping and I was like, whatever they're doing, I want that. So I popped
- 9:53on it and that's honestly, that's the one I use
- 9:57still today. Most, the other modalities that
- 10:01I can tell you emphatically, if somebody's having a bad day and
- 10:05they don't feel well and they're incredibly sluggish, they have
- 10:09anything with energy issues, I love to put
- 10:12them in the red bed. I love to put them in
- 10:16our lymphatic massage suit. That is called an experience.
- 10:20You go inside of that, you come out in Cloud nine and you're just like,
- 10:24whoa, that's different. And so
- 10:28I get giddy over each one. I love to see
- 10:32people walk out and see an immediate result. Yeah. They feel
- 10:36good and for a few days after their body's detoxing, stuff that they
- 10:39couldn't get out because they couldn't get themselves into a
- 10:42parasympathetic state. And everyone says, does it fix this?
- 10:46Does it do this? The answer is it doesn't do anything. Neither do I.
- 10:51I'm not the blame for it. Why anybody gets better. And neither is
- 10:54any of this equipment in here. We help your body get into its
- 10:58optimal wellness shape. And these are the words that we should be
- 11:02using both in medical and in wellness. Optimal wellness. We put your
- 11:06body into a position that it can turn
- 11:09around and start healing itself. Yeah. We have to start
- 11:13addressing that. I feel like that's when a
- 11:17doctor says, well, this is the way you have to go or
- 11:20you're going to die. I think that's unfair. I think
- 11:24the doctor should say. And judgment. Sorry, but they should
- 11:28say, as far as I know. Right.
- 11:32That's a better way of saying it. Because we used to believe the world was
- 11:35flat. Yeah. So I think we should be able to say.
- 11:40Right. I think we should be able to say, you know, this is my expertise,
- 11:43this is my lane, and once you're out of my lane, I'm going to recommend
- 11:47that you go look for some other solutions. That would be good.
- 11:50Yeah. Right. And I do know holistic healing is more
- 11:54about. It's based on the assumption your
- 11:58body will know how to heal if given the proper tools. Right. In
- 12:01the proper environment to do it. So. Yeah. And
- 12:05holistic is supposed to be whole human. Yeah.
- 12:09And a lot of the holistic approaches are not. So
- 12:12we just use a lot of words. We use holistic, we use integrated, we use
- 12:16all kinds of things. That's why I use the word natural. Because what we're
- 12:20trying to do, Nature Inspired, is your body
- 12:23naturally healing itself by getting into a couple pieces
- 12:27of equipment to get your body to shake
- 12:31it up a little bit. And then your body kicks in and starts doing the
- 12:34work. Yeah. That lovely lymph drainage. I love it.
- 12:38Right. The lymph drainage is amazing. Our wellness,
- 12:42we call it the extreme wellness throne back there because I have a
- 12:46silly sense of humor. That one I love. Because when someone
- 12:49comes in and they're really not well and they've got some things to get out
- 12:52of their body, I know that they're
- 12:56gonna see something come. I'm a show me girl. Yeah. And you'll
- 12:59see things come out of the body. Don't know what it is, don't care.
- 13:04But when you don't feel good, you get in there and when you come out,
- 13:07you can see stuff in the water, in the bottom.
- 13:11Wow. You feel like you're really making a difference. Yeah. And when you don't
- 13:14see stuff in the water, it's the best day because, you know there might
- 13:18still be something in there, but you don't see colors to. To show you that
- 13:22stuff is still happening. So. Yeah. Well, I'm looking forward to
- 13:26you showing us around a little bit. Yeah.
- 13:30So this is my lymphatic massage experience. I did
- 13:34a couple of things. I told you, I'm a gadget girl. So the
- 13:37massage itself is absolutely phenomenal. It's very much like
- 13:41we. We get in here and it doesn't look very comfortable. I promise. It's amazing.
- 13:45So you get strapped in from your feet all the way up and your
- 13:49arms. This even goes behind your shoulders. So it's literally from
- 13:52full body. And then we do the head experience as
- 13:56well. So we actually address the head of the lymphatics, which no one
- 14:00seems to. That I've seen in the way that we were trained.
- 14:04So this is from New Zealand, and they have a different way
- 14:07of addressing things. And I really love that they geek out on
- 14:11teaching this at a really deep level. And they tell us, us Americans don't know
- 14:15anything about wellness compared to that. So I love learning
- 14:19from them. But as you feel, this is phenomenal. Right?
- 14:23Right. Yeah. Yeah. So what you're feeling, there are
- 14:26frequencies that go through it. So I'm leading a study on
- 14:29frequency driven lymphatic massage for both
- 14:33companies to partner up together and do more.
- 14:37That's the machine and what it does. So everyone says, this feels lovely,
- 14:41what it's doing. If you start your body
- 14:45from the beginning of time, we would get into a fight or flight
- 14:48once, maybe twice in our lifetime back then, you know, saber tooth,
- 14:52tiger moment. If you survived it, you might get a second shot. You want to
- 14:56go back there and. Look at back then when you're able to.
- 15:00Let go. And you've survived that fight or flight moment. You
- 15:04can immediately walk out into the beautiful clean sun. You
- 15:08can eat something healthy. You can drink some pure water. You can walk
- 15:12out, because back then. We had bare feet. And you'd walk out on
- 15:15the dirt and minerals and the energies and the frequencies from the earth
- 15:19would then bring that amygdala override the fight or flight that
- 15:23triggers cortisol, that triggers us to protect ourselves
- 15:27and not feel like, I don't want to kill that fluffy animal.
- 15:31Right. It takes all of that out
- 15:34because you're digging your feet into those minerals and into that feeling.
- 15:38And so what this is doing is very similar to that. It's like
- 15:42having your worst day when you were here that day, and you walk out
- 15:46of a situation where you're just raging
- 15:50and you drive up to Lake Tahoe, you take your shoes off and
- 15:54you dig your feet into that beautiful hot sand on a cool
- 15:57day, and you let that cool water wash up on your feet.
- 16:01That's what this feeling does to put your body into a sympathetic
- 16:05state, parasympathetic state, and take you out of the amygdala override.
- 16:09So, yeah. And that's just. You're not. You don't have to have a bad day
- 16:12to come in here and do it. But it puts your body into a Just
- 16:15Gumby. Right. You're just relaxed. And then when you come out of. It, you
- 16:19feel great. And then for the next couple days, your body just
- 16:23does its own work. It just opens up the lymphatic system and lets things
- 16:27drain the way they're supposed to. Right. But this just adds a little
- 16:31bit of fun to our days. And we do. When there's a group of us,
- 16:34I love it. We feel like we're getting into this equipment.
- 16:38Yeah. We're like, I'm going in today. That's awesome. So what company is this
- 16:42from? And this one's Flowpresso. So they're.
- 16:45Flowpresso is from New Zealand. Gotcha. And they
- 16:49have some distributors here in town that are pretty phenomenal. They're brilliant
- 16:52people. Yeah, brilliant. We're actually going in December to work with them.
- 16:56Awesome. So I love that. Live. They'll be here in America playing around and
- 16:59training us. Nice, nice, nice. I love it. Feels great.
- 17:04And let's see. I think
- 17:07we'll go to the next one. Yep. So we have
- 17:11a couple of different options. We won't dig into what the equipment looks like because
- 17:15it's not so super pretty in there. But you can see we have different
- 17:18body sculpting modalities, abilities to help your body
- 17:23grow muscle, lose fat, both
- 17:27with cryo and with frequency driven. So we have not just these two, we have
- 17:31several different pieces that help you lose weight, sculpt your body,
- 17:35do more. Yeah. Feel better,
- 17:38look better. Right. That's when. When you start feeling better, you start
- 17:42automatically dropping inches. Some people are doing the GLP1s
- 17:46their body, literally their skin will just hang off them.
- 17:50Because what do you do with the excess fat when you lose fat that fast?
- 17:54And the answer is it gets pretty yucky.
- 17:57So we have ways of one, tightening up the skin, which is great.
- 18:01And. Or if you don't want to do those things and put chemicals in your
- 18:05body, then your next option is to do cryo sculpting. The
- 18:08Pagani is the only one I know of that does permanent fat
- 18:12reduction. Other than. I think there's another one. Coolsculpting. But ours is a
- 18:16massage and it feels great. This coolsculpting I know can
- 18:20leave some downtime. It's a couple of days downtime. Ours is zero downtime,
- 18:23zero pain. We sculpt the body for sessions
- 18:27and it's. We're. We're pretty careful about what we do. Yeah.
- 18:30So that's very cool. Yeah. So this is a fun
- 18:34room. It definitely brings us our. Yeah. And as you see
- 18:38you in a single or a double just happens
- 18:42to align. Right? Yeah. Yeah.
- 18:45That's the only. That's the only kind of marketing we do because. Because that also
- 18:49talks about your wellness. Right. When you have. When you have a double chin,
- 18:52you're either staring at your cell phone too much. You should also like everyone's or
- 18:56neck. Right. And. Or you have a double chin because while you're doing
- 19:00that and the stress from your head, it gathers here, so you end
- 19:04up sticking your lymphatic system. So your lymphatic system
- 19:07is. Yeah. Stuck in that spot. Yeah. That does not surprise me. So we teach
- 19:11people how to address that at home. Again, we've got all kinds of
- 19:15things. We can kick start and do things at home. We can be your
- 19:18advanced side and do the rest at home. Yeah. And sometimes your
- 19:22body just needs the extra. Or just. Just to hear the answers.
- 19:25Right. Just to hear. Hey, you might want to address that. Yeah. Yeah.
- 19:29Simple things. Sometimes it's
- 19:33cosmetic, sometimes it's not. Sometimes it's genetic. Yeah.
- 19:36So this is our full body red light therapy.
- 19:40This is another one of those that'll get me very excited and giddy.
- 19:45This is. It does near infrared and far infrared.
- 19:49This is actually a cool thing. Let me show you. You can adjust this
- 19:52by. I'm not sure if it's gonna. This will just show you the countdown and
- 19:56it'll pop on, but it's full body, head to toe. This will
- 20:00infuse a 400 pound man with light therapy, which is awesome.
- 20:04So it's near infrared, far infrared. So it goes all the
- 20:08way through. The body, penetrate your body. Yeah, that's what he says. So there you
- 20:11go. Let there be light. Yeah. Look how beautiful this is when it opens
- 20:15up. So pretty. And this isn't harmful for short periods of
- 20:19time. We do wear goggles and glasses normally, but it puts
- 20:22on a really great picture for the camera and we
- 20:26actually adjust frequencies, the, the intensity, all of that. We
- 20:30have multiple fans all over the room to keep cool while you're in there. Red
- 20:34light therapy is not meant to make you hot and sweaty. Red light therapy
- 20:37is meant to go deep within for this machine. Yeah. And
- 20:41it's great. Yeah, yeah. I just, I feel like you're super
- 20:45relaxed, right? That's the best explanation. Yeah. And
- 20:49then it does feel like. Yeah, I think I said like three hours at the
- 20:52beach or something like that, but yeah, can't get to the beach every day and
- 20:55then sometimes it's not warm. And behind you, these are from South
- 20:59Africa. These are the machines that we were most
- 21:03excited about getting because I asked all of the
- 21:06biohack world, what's the best machines on the market
- 21:10available today, period? And the answer was
- 21:14these. So these are our extreme wellness throne, we call them, because no one
- 21:17wants to call them a HOCUTT. Tony
- 21:21Robbins is all over the Internet talking about how amazing this machine machine is. He's
- 21:25in there all the time. These Hugos he takes with him. You can literally see
- 21:28his personal trainer walking around with it behind him at all of his
- 21:32events. Interesting, because it's an amazing immediate
- 21:36result with a high powered spark gap technology
- 21:40magnet. This magnet is phenomenal at removing
- 21:44inflammation. We can walk over here a little bit. Yeah, yeah.
- 21:48It's prettier from, I guess this side. Um, but
- 21:52this is. You get inside of this machine, the Hugo is attached to
- 21:55it. Your head is out. As you see, we have again, fans
- 21:59all over the building. Right. And the equipment. So you get
- 22:03oxygen, you get 10 different healing modalities
- 22:06in a, in a 30 minute hit session. Inside of this,
- 22:10you can burn up to 600 calories in a 30 minute
- 22:14session depending on the, the work that we're doing.
- 22:18You also open it up and you'll see. Which
- 22:22is really fun. We always have our little packs together each time. If
- 22:25you'll pull that side. Yep.
- 22:29You'll actually be able to see.
- 22:33Chromotherapy should come on. We'll see. I could just turn
- 22:36it off. Possibly. So the
- 22:40radio frequency waves. These different tubes blow in different.
- 22:45So the ozone. We monitor them, their heart rate while
- 22:49they're in there at all times. We check blood pressures. Like it's. It's
- 22:52a pretty advanced piece of equipment. Yeah. Do all kinds of great stuff.
- 22:56The athletes. So we talk a lot about athletic performance.
- 23:00Athletes. To be able to regenerate and recover quickly so they can keep
- 23:04going, break their records, do more. They use a lot of this
- 23:08equipment. People that are not well. These are in
- 23:11several different critical care clinics. I call it critical
- 23:15care. Not. Not true critical care. But just people that are really
- 23:19trying hard to get well from something that we have. Something that's serious. Yeah.
- 23:22Yeah. So they're in a few locations in the country.
- 23:26Not many. Yeah. So we're honored to have them excited.
- 23:30That's awesome. When we get into a very unique. A unique
- 23:33opportunity. Yeah. Yeah. To be able to do it.
- 23:37Gives Reno a chance to do things that other states are doing. Yeah.
- 23:41Yeah. I love it. I chose specifically because of the cool
- 23:44logo. And the owner of the company goes around and trains
- 23:48hyperbaric employees around the country at the
- 23:51hospitals. So he's really smart. He says this
- 23:55is a leading edge unit. You get to
- 23:58sit or lay down in there. You can do anything you want. You can come
- 24:02in, you can work, you can sleep, you can whatever. And
- 24:06so I bought this one specifically because of the logo. We
- 24:10treat a lot of veterans, first responders, so on.
- 24:13Right. It's a cool looking unit. Yes. But it just
- 24:17looks very official. And he says it's a better
- 24:21unit than our superior. He says, than all the others that are on the
- 24:24market. And I paid a substantial amount different
- 24:28to make sure we had a quality unit. I love it.
- 24:32We have people come in. We
- 24:36support everybody in all levels. You hear me talk a lot about athletes
- 24:40and just average people coming in. But we do have people who are
- 24:44working on certain challenges, like cancers, Lyme mold,
- 24:48parasites. Like very, very serious things that they can't get relief
- 24:52from somewhere else. A lot of this equipment supports them and makes them feel
- 24:55better. If not helps to extend what they're doing and
- 24:59work harder. This is one of them. Some people can come in
- 25:03incredibly sick after their chemotherapy or after their
- 25:06pushes from lyme support. And they climb
- 25:10inside of this and they come out and they're just like, I feel good. They're
- 25:14like, I don't know. I think I'm gonna throw up in your machine. I'm like,
- 25:16well, take a bag with you. Right? Take a bag. I'm not shy.
- 25:19Because the detox happens so quickly. Is that kind of. It's because
- 25:23medications they're taking because of the medication. Okay. So when they come in and
- 25:27they're that sick and they're in that much pain, to put them inside of something
- 25:30and watch them come out going, whoa,
- 25:34that's over. It's pretty awesome. Yeah. It's heartwarming.
- 25:37Yeah. And I know, like, someone that I've had on the podcast several times, Kara
- 25:41Stoltenberg, who had a brain injury. She. She did buy,
- 25:45I don't know what brand it was a hyperbaric chamber. So. So that she could
- 25:49get in every day to help heal. When you have. It was a really
- 25:52serious brain injury. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's incredibly important to
- 25:56keep them in the oxygen. I work with a couple different brain
- 26:00organizations. That's where I learned about the circadian rhythm. Was a top
- 26:03neuroscientist in the world. He's world
- 26:06renowned. Was the one that was like, follow the circadian rhythm. I'm like, what's that?
- 26:10Oh, yeah. Really? Really. It's that simple. So why don't we know that
- 26:14these words and learn them in school or. If I did, I didn't pay attention
- 26:17in that class. Yeah. But yeah. This is amazing. For brain health, her
- 26:21body health, her athletic performance. For physical
- 26:25recovery. We just had a fireman. In fact, he.
- 26:29He's scheduled today. So he had surgery a couple weeks
- 26:32ago. He started prior to his surgery and comes every
- 26:36day that he can. And he's from another interstate,
- 26:40so he comes all the way here from somewhere else, hundreds of miles
- 26:44away. Okay. And jumps in the hyperbaric. Because he knows what
- 26:48heals. Yeah. And he's not the only one. We have hundreds of
- 26:51first responders and medical practitioners coming in here.
- 26:55It's not. Yeah. I love that they understand what the equipment does and they
- 26:59love using it. Yeah. We had another
- 27:02session on that too, about, you know, the first response responders and
- 27:06having so much more PTSD inducing events. Right. Than
- 27:10the average human. Well, if we put it in perspective,
- 27:14and it's not saying anybody has any lesser anymore, but a first
- 27:17responder is in wartime
- 27:21every day. If they're in a certain city in this
- 27:25country. Yeah. Right. Not everyone. Every day,
- 27:28everywhere. But if we really look at what they could through on A daily
- 27:31basis. It's amazing. Firefighters, for instance,
- 27:35leave their families once a week. They have a breakup from their family once a
- 27:39week, and then they have a reconnection. Right. But they have to literally leave
- 27:43and go stay somewhere else for days. Right. If you have trust
- 27:46issues, you're really in trouble. If you have family issues, really
- 27:50in trouble. Right. Then on top of that, you get a fire drill
- 27:54and you've got a few minutes to be dressed,
- 27:58out of, out of your bed, dressed. I don't care what's going on in your
- 28:02world, in your personal life, you need to be in that rig and going to
- 28:05save someone's life or structure immediately. Right.
- 28:09The officers are on guard all day long
- 28:12everywhere. Security guards all the way to police officers.
- 28:15They are on watch at all times every day.
- 28:19Veterans at least got to retire from their work
- 28:23time stuff that they did. But once you train your brain, you can't
- 28:27unlearn what you've learned. No. You just have to learn to take the
- 28:30trauma out of your body and your brain from what you learned.
- 28:34That's really hard to do. And I understand it. I'm by no
- 28:38means the expert at it, but I can tell you we've helped a lot of
- 28:41people take the trauma of what you've seen, whether you're first
- 28:44responder, a child, it doesn't matter. We all had something
- 28:48that was the worst thing we've ever seen, right? Yes, yes,
- 28:52we, we've all seen it. So if we can do that and maintain our
- 28:56health, no matter what we see or what we go through, it's important for
- 28:59humanity not just, not just us, not our lives, not our families, but
- 29:03really, it's kind of our obligation to get through whatever it is we
- 29:06see. We were barbaric humans from the beginning.
- 29:11We're just a much softer society today. So how did they do do it
- 29:14and we can't. Right, right.
- 29:19How did, how did our ancestors do that? Yeah. The answer
- 29:22is, I believe, getting back to nature. Well, nature was so much more
- 29:26accessible. It's like nature's getting less and less accessible. Right. In this
- 29:30world we're living in. Yeah. And even if it's there, no one's paying attention to
- 29:34it. So. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And then
- 29:37of course, the revives of the brain health, which are my favorite. And then we
- 29:41do some other detox stuff here. This is sort of our living room area
- 29:45where I want people to come in, drop your shoes, curl up with a
- 29:48favorite blanket and a pillow and really just be. And we play
- 29:52frequencies through the building for Love and healing. I think it's very
- 29:56important that we do that. We just teach people to get comfortable and show them
- 30:00what healthy is supposed to feel like. Yeah, I love that. That warm, cozy feeling
- 30:03when we're curled up next to the fireplace on a grand, cold winter. Oh, for
- 30:06sure. That's the best feeling. Do we get those? Yeah. I just turned on the
- 30:09heat last night, so it was the first time. There you go. Our cozy. Our
- 30:12cozy, cozy area. Yeah. Can you show us the Brain
- 30:16Tap? Yeah, absolutely. So, again, this is my favorite piece of it.
- 30:20Revive chair. So this is a whole different piece of it, but
- 30:24this is sort of the quick example of what we do
- 30:28with our HRV will show
- 30:32you your biological age and your brain health overall.
- 30:36And then we have all of our iPads, have
- 30:40over 3,000 sessions inside the app. This is the Brain Tap itself.
- 30:44When you turn it on, it's fully adjustable. You see the
- 30:48red and blue lights on the inside. And then back here, you'll
- 30:51see that there's another area where the blue lights flash. So when you put this
- 30:55on, all you do is put it on your head, lean back,
- 30:59take a couple big, deep breaths, and just listen. That's all you have to do.
- 31:02There's no work. Not hard. Not hard at all. And most people fall asleep and
- 31:06have a beautiful nap. And others go, that was cool. I like it.
- 31:11Right? It's just great. To each their own. And. And
- 31:15it's hardwired because I don't really like the Bluetooth. Really big on.
- 31:19Less EMFs on our bodies, but you get a warm, cozy
- 31:22blanket. Want to. You want to demonstrate for us? Sure. She's
- 31:26done this before. I. I have. And it's always awesome. So.
- 31:31All right. All right. And
- 31:34then I always look at me. Sitting in a chair. I'm so fancy. I know.
- 31:38I'm going to put you back and let you relax. Okay. How's that?
- 31:42Comfy? Yes. All right. Uncross the feet. I remember that.
- 31:45Okay, well, for the hrv, but you can do whatever you need. And then
- 31:49go ahead and put that on.
- 31:58And just for fun, I'll just hit whatever's on here.
- 32:02Whatever these are. Stop asking.
- 32:06Go ahead and put your visor down.
- 32:18I love it.
- 32:22How's that? All right. Sorry, Mary, I'm gonna make you
- 32:26get up now. That was fun. That was so fun. Thank you for showing us
- 32:29around. That was fun. What's next? Like, what's
- 32:33the next step in. In the journey here with nature inspired therapies.
- 32:37The immediate future is we're expanding, almost doubling the
- 32:41size of this location here. I have a couple of
- 32:44locations within a 50 mile
- 32:48radius that want to launch immediately as a franchise. I have
- 32:52other locations across the country that want to open. And this
- 32:56has to be whole and complete and perfect first and a
- 33:00good stable atmosphere so that we could duplicate our process. And
- 33:03our goals are to get places like this where someone can walk in
- 33:08very easily. Right. We're in a retail situation. It's not exactly
- 33:11a med spa. We don't even try to be a med spa. We want people
- 33:15to come in, get your wellness in 30 minutes, 45
- 33:18minutes at the most, and get back out the door. So we don't stress you
- 33:21out. To take time away from your life, to make sure that your
- 33:25wellness is in place. Yeah, I love that. Every day focusing on yourself, valuing
- 33:29your health. And if you don't mind, let me show one quick
- 33:32thing. We didn't talk about it, but in the
- 33:36wellness world, we always think we have to take a day off to go to
- 33:40the med spa. We have to go take an hour off to go get a
- 33:43massage. We have to take time away from whatever we're doing. That means
- 33:46you're creating a space of lack to go take care of yourself. So we
- 33:50shame ourselves when we go take that time. Not everybody does, but
- 33:54those of us that are really busy. I have, I don't know, 20, 30 massage
- 33:57gift certificates somebody's given me along the way in the last, I don't know,
- 34:01five years and they're still sitting there because I don't take the time to go
- 34:05get a massage. I would always. And I do
- 34:09take the time to get into these modalities because I know that
- 34:13it creates a long term effect of something I'm trying to
- 34:16avoid. Yeah. When you have brain damage as a child, the statistics
- 34:20are against you to not have dementia, Alzheimer's, things like that.
- 34:24So, you know, there's a lot of athletes with concussions. There's a lot of
- 34:27stuff going on in the world. So people can in fact
- 34:31come in here, It's a short period of time, it's less than a lunch break,
- 34:35get what they need and go back out the door. They can stop by on
- 34:37the way to work, they can stop by on the way to another doctor's appointment
- 34:40and that's what they do. We have people from all over the world coming in
- 34:43here. So I know this equipment is amazing. It's at least
- 34:46considered some of the best in the country, if not in the world. And
- 34:50I did bring stuff in from South Africa, New Zealand, Italy,
- 34:54India. Wow. Korea.
- 34:58I'm sure I'm forgetting somewhere else, but it gives you an idea that
- 35:02I tried to create something that if I look you in the eyes and say,
- 35:05I think I can help, I'm not lying.
- 35:09That's the best. So when someone does that and they come in and they do
- 35:12a quick hit session, they get back out and I can show them a measurement
- 35:15report, they really feel like they're doing something for
- 35:19themselves. So we're priding ourselves on, get in here,
- 35:23do something quick, and get back outside so you can have a better day. Just
- 35:26like you the day you were here. I didn't want to bring that up. But,
- 35:29you know, you were like, oh. And I said, just try it. And. Yeah. And
- 35:32you never know how it's gonna turn out. Yeah. Every person's different. We
- 35:36are literally one. One genetic
- 35:40makeup of cells that has never been created in the history
- 35:43of humanity and will never be created again. So this
- 35:47whole idea of one in a million is a complete joke and
- 35:51makes us play small. So if we have that genetic makeup,
- 35:56then we should be treating ourselves and our vehicle, the only
- 35:59vehicle we've been given in this lifetime. This is it. It's all we've got.
- 36:04Better than we treat our vehicle. We drive every day.
- 36:07We change the oil on a regular basis because we know
- 36:11it'll make the engine last longer. We put in good gas that they
- 36:15recommend because we know it will increase the efficiency
- 36:18and help the engine last longer. Right. We make sure that we
- 36:22put wiper fluid in it or change the brakes and change the
- 36:26tires. We don't do any of that for ourselves. We feel shamed
- 36:29when we do that. It's important for us to start treating
- 36:33this vehicle as valuable as it is. Right. Yeah.
- 36:37So that's. My concept is just, this is the only one we have,
- 36:41and if we wear it out too soon, it's like buying your favorite
- 36:44car, forgetting to put good gas in it, forgetting
- 36:48to change the oil. Don't bother putting any good antifreeze in it.
- 36:52Put a brick on the pedal, put it up on stands,
- 36:56and see how long that car is gonna last. Yeah. You know, that's what we're
- 36:59doing to our bodies. Yeah. America runs on stress,
- 37:03sadly. Yes. Yes. Yeah. Yeah.
- 37:07So sorry. I wanted to. No, yeah, that's. No, it's true. It's very true. So.
- 37:10And I think that's part of the reason why I wanted to do this podcast
- 37:13to begin with is to. People don't know about different. That
- 37:17there even are different options available to them and different things that
- 37:21are very helpful. And I've had my own journey of like, not.
- 37:25Not doing well at all. And I think I'm still there because, like the last.
- 37:29I'm still. I'm still. I'm still not optimized
- 37:32to do where I think my health needs to be. But, you know, it is.
- 37:36It's a journey. For sure. We're all a work in progress. I'm by no means
- 37:39the epitome of health, but I do try, Right? Yeah, I try.
- 37:43And I have a little bit easier access than others. It'll just take me a
- 37:46minute to see something. But we all
- 37:50have work to do. Yeah. And sometimes it's just doing what you know to do
- 37:54or what you have access to. And most of us don't
- 37:57even do that well. And that's the thing. Even though this is a.
- 38:01We have leading edge stuff, when someone comes in here,
- 38:05I'll grab one of my books from the 80s and go, okay, so this is
- 38:08what it says. Try it at home. You don't need to. We have a
- 38:12membership. It's incredible, incredibly low to get people to come in and spend
- 38:16time in here. The membership allows you to go through my library, allows you to
- 38:19play with some of these things anytime you want to drop in and do it.
- 38:23Which is great. Unlimited, Amazing. Yeah. And then the
- 38:26advanced modalities, those are a dramatically discounted cost
- 38:30if you're one of our members. Right. If. If you're dedicating to yourself, I'm going
- 38:33to meet you halfway. Which is awesome. Right. If. If you say, I want
- 38:37to be better, then the prices go down dramatically. Yeah. Right. If you want
- 38:41to work towards this. Not everybody can afford it. So the average person can
- 38:44afford to get the wellness that the 1 percenters, the billionaires, the
- 38:48superstars, the Tony Robbins, the juniors, you know, all
- 38:52these guys that are using this type of equipment for
- 38:55professional athletes and billionaires that have been able to
- 38:59use this type of stuff forever because they can afford it now. It's
- 39:03available to the average person because we're just a membership. We all get
- 39:07to collaborate. It's kind of a health collaborative, I guess. Health collaborative. It's
- 39:10nice, super fun for me, but it just allows people to do a little bit
- 39:14more. And I give them a ton of things to do at home without
- 39:18me being a part of it. They don't have to pay me for everything. We'll
- 39:22give you a whole list of stuff to try at home. And start thinking about
- 39:26yourself again. Be proactive in your wellness. Right. And I think people in
- 39:30general just Feels like they're tired of. They're not feeling
- 39:33good. People are not feeling good. It almost doesn't even matter the generation anymore.
- 39:37We're not feeling well. And so there's that thing of wanting
- 39:41to feel better and not have to
- 39:45struggle as we're doing. A lot of
- 39:49times when I do the HRV report you were just talking about not feeling well.
- 39:53I will do a heart rate variability on someone. This
- 39:56weekend, for instance, there was a woman at the
- 40:00startup, the Reno Startup Week that came out in
- 40:0385% Delta. Brainwaves.
- 40:07You should be on your best day of your life in an
- 40:1185% delta in the middle of the night, between 10 at night and
- 40:152 in the morning for optimal brain health. She's trying to
- 40:19walk around as a person trying
- 40:22to start a business, sleepwalking, forcing herself
- 40:26just to stay awake, let alone not being. I can't imagine how difficult that
- 40:30day was for her. So, yeah, it was awesome to watch that turnaround. Yeah.
- 40:34Those are the moments that gets me giddy. But it was interesting. I
- 40:37went. I've never seen anyone in
- 40:4085% Delta ever.
- 40:44I've done a lot of those. So it was fun to. Yeah, that.
- 40:48That's the piece. Right? It doesn't matter what age. And she was young. She
- 40:52was young, but clearly didn't sleep well the
- 40:55night before. Right. When you're in Delta in the middle of the day, you're in
- 40:59trouble. Yeah. Which I have that problem. Right. Well, we all
- 41:02do because we don't get solid sleep like we used to.
- 41:06Follow the basic circadian rhythm. It's free
- 41:10information all over the Internet. Just follow what supposed to work for
- 41:14humanity. Yeah, that's true. We don't have to fight the system. Sleep from 10
- 41:18to 2 is what I keep hearing for brain health. And then brain
- 41:21health leads to body health.
- 41:25Yes. Yeah. It all starts somewhere.
- 41:30So tell everyone how they can reach you. You can reach me at.
- 41:34We are obviously located at 969 West Moana Lane
- 41:38here in Reno on the corner of Lakeside and Moana. Everyone knows that
