- 0:10Speaker 1: Yo, what's up family? Welcome back to the house. Glad
- 0:14Speaker 1: you clicked play today.
- 0:15Speaker 2: And that wasn't random. God's got a word lined up.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Just for you.
- 0:19Speaker 1: This house speaks louder than these walls.
- 0:21Speaker 4: You're not just watching, you're family.
- 0:23Speaker 2: However you got here today, we're just glad you showed up.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Get comfortable and get ready to receive.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Let's worship in spirit and truth together. Drop a comment
- 0:32Speaker 1: and let us know where you're tuning in from.
- 0:34Speaker 2: We see you, we love you, and we believe this
- 0:37Speaker 2: word is about to change something.
- 0:45Speaker 5: Open your Bibles tonight to the 12th chapter of the
- 0:50Speaker 5: book of Hebrews, verse 2 through 6, where we will
- 0:57Speaker 5: deliberate over the Word of God in the hopes of
- 1:01Speaker 5: extrapolating some truth that would be relevant to where you
- 1:04Speaker 5: are at this moment and at this time in your life.
- 1:08Speaker 5: And not only are we concerned about the relevance of
- 1:11Speaker 5: the Word of God, but we're also seeking the revelations
- 1:14Speaker 5: That comes out of his word. That the contour of
- 1:18Speaker 5: the word would be shaped around our circumstances in such
- 1:21Speaker 5: a way. That the enemy could not penetrate. The word
- 1:27Speaker 5: of God that I'm enraptured in. Encapsulated in his word.
- 1:34Speaker 5: A thousand may fall at my right side. Ten thousand
- 1:38Speaker 5: may fall at my left side. But it shall not
- 1:41Speaker 5: come nigh me here. I know who I am tonight.
- 1:46Speaker 5: Do you know who you are tonight? Oh my God,
- 1:50Speaker 5: I feel something in this place already. I've been waiting
- 1:54Speaker 5: on y'all. You've been waiting on me. But we're bound
- 2:01Speaker 5: to have a time tonight. I'm wondering tonight, beneath our
- 2:08Speaker 5: expectation and our jubilation and our excitement, When the service
- 2:13Speaker 5: is over and we go into normalcy, the Bible focuses
- 2:20Speaker 5: on special moments, but says little about normal moments. It
- 2:28Speaker 5: shows us the peaks and says almost nothing about the valleys.
- 2:34Speaker 5: It shows us the hardships and even the miracles, but
- 2:37Speaker 5: I'm talking about the days of nothingness. the bland days,
- 2:46Speaker 5: the nebulous, indescript days that pass, leaving you only wrestling
- 2:52Speaker 5: with how you feel. When something happens, you have to
- 2:57Speaker 5: wrestle with what happens. But how do you make it
- 3:03Speaker 5: when nothing is happening and you are left to face yourself?
- 3:13Speaker 5: truth of the matter is, we are complicated species. Even
- 3:19Speaker 5: science says we're not simple organisms. We're not just mundane mammals.
- 3:27Speaker 5: We are complex species. And our life is complex. So
- 3:33Speaker 5: most of the time we develop Christian colloquialisms to hide
- 3:37Speaker 5: the complexity of who we are. So we start saying,
- 3:41Speaker 5: I'm blessed in the Lord. Thank God. Yeah, I'm too
- 3:47Speaker 5: blessed to be stressed. But let's strip past all of
- 3:52Speaker 5: that camouflage tonight and get down to where you are.
- 4:00Speaker 5: Because God wants to do some surgery. He wants to
- 4:04Speaker 5: go into some deep places. And you don't have to
- 4:07Speaker 5: tell your business tonight. In fact, I recommend that you don't.
- 4:13Speaker 5: But just touch somebody and say, I'm complicated. I'm complicated.
- 4:21Speaker 5: You can't be my friend in a week because I'm complicated.
- 4:24Speaker 5: You can't know me in three days because I'm complicated.
- 4:28Speaker 5: You can't judge me by my suit because I'm complicated.
- 4:31Speaker 5: You can't judge me by my blue jeans because I'm complicated.
- 4:34Speaker 5: It takes time to know me. You got to see
- 4:36Speaker 5: me in winter. and spring and summer and fall and
- 4:40Speaker 5: see me when I'm happy and when I'm not happy
- 4:42Speaker 5: and when I'm up and when I'm down and then
- 4:45Speaker 5: maybe then you begin to draw some concept of who
- 4:50Speaker 5: I am. Hebrews 12, 2 says, looking unto Jesus, the
- 4:59Speaker 5: author and finisher of our faith. Notice carefully now, the
- 5:05Speaker 5: author and finisher of our faith Is a bookend understanding.
- 5:10Speaker 5: Of who God is. The author starts it. The finisher
- 5:15Speaker 5: ends it. But it says nothing about the middle. He
- 5:22Speaker 5: is alpha. And omega. The beginning. And the end. The first.
- 5:33Speaker 5: And the last. But it says nothing about in between.
- 5:38Speaker 5: And where we need the faith the most is to
- 5:41Speaker 5: explain the variances and the circumstances and the mundane situations,
- 5:50Speaker 5: the mood swings, the moments of disparity. Not the hot
- 5:56Speaker 5: moments when you feel saved. I want to talk to
- 6:04Speaker 5: you about the days when you don't feel him. How
- 6:09Speaker 5: many folks have days you don't feel him? And you
- 6:13Speaker 5: find yourself like Job. I looked for him and I
- 6:15Speaker 5: couldn't find him. I looked on the left side and
- 6:18Speaker 5: he was not there. I looked on the right and
- 6:20Speaker 5: he worked on the left side, but I perceived him not.
- 6:24Speaker 5: I don't know. Where are you, God? Where are you
- 6:29Speaker 5: when the storm hits me? Where are you, God? The
- 6:32Speaker 5: author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy
- 6:35Speaker 5: that was set before him Look at the contrast now.
- 6:41Speaker 5: The joy that was set before him endured the cross.
- 6:47Speaker 5: Two conflicting concepts cohabitating in the same sentence. The joy
- 6:53Speaker 5: that was set before him is followed up by enduring
- 6:57Speaker 5: the cross, despising the shame. All in the same sentence,
- 7:02Speaker 5: you got something I'm happy about and something I'm despising about.
- 7:06Speaker 5: And it's all happening in one person. And it says
- 7:09Speaker 5: when you look at Jesus, you can't just look at
- 7:12Speaker 5: the part that he despises and not understand the joy
- 7:16Speaker 5: that was set before him, gave him the grace to
- 7:20Speaker 5: endure the despising issues of the cross. Not the nails,
- 7:28Speaker 5: not the nails, the shame. Not the sword. Not the sword.
- 7:37Speaker 5: The shame, the emotional complexities of being who he was
- 7:43Speaker 5: put him in a situation that he who walked the
- 7:47Speaker 5: waters now stands naked before his disciples. In the face
- 7:53Speaker 5: of his mother, they stripped him of his apparel. And
- 7:58Speaker 5: the only thing covered him was the blood that dripped
- 8:01Speaker 5: down from his head. It's complicated. It's complicated that he
- 8:07Speaker 5: could have joy and pain at the same time. I
- 8:13Speaker 5: was going through something a while ago, some couple of
- 8:15Speaker 5: years ago, and somebody asked me how I felt. I said, well,
- 8:18Speaker 5: I'm happy and I'm sad and I'm a little bit
- 8:21Speaker 5: mad and I'm sort of glad and I'm kind of
- 8:25Speaker 5: confused and I'm standing on the word and I'm troubled
- 8:29Speaker 5: because I can't see God. But every now and then
- 8:32Speaker 5: I feel God. I said, how much time you got?
- 8:35Speaker 5: for me to explain it because it's going to take
- 8:37Speaker 5: me a while to explain how I feel because my
- 8:43Speaker 5: feelings are so complicated that they don't go in the
- 8:46Speaker 5: straight line that church folk want to talk about. Church
- 8:49Speaker 5: folks talk in straight lines, but my life has a topography.
- 8:57Speaker 5: My life has uprisings and down settings and by the
- 9:00Speaker 5: time I said all that, they had walked off because
- 9:03Speaker 5: people really don't want to know how you're doing. They're
- 9:05Speaker 5: just trying to say hi. Have you ever noticed that
- 9:08Speaker 5: the people who ask you how you're doing don't wait
- 9:10Speaker 5: for an answer? Despising the shame and is set down
- 9:17Speaker 5: at the right hand of the throne of God. Spring
- 9:24Speaker 5: your mind out and consider him Consider him. Contemplate him.
- 9:33Speaker 5: Focus on him. That endured, that endured without relief, without
- 9:45Speaker 5: an answer, without a miracle. He endured such contradiction. The
- 9:58Speaker 5: contradiction of sinners. against himself. And the reason I want
- 10:05Speaker 5: you to consider that about him is that you might
- 10:07Speaker 5: be able to get some barometer on where you are
- 10:12Speaker 5: so that you don't become weary. And faint in your mind.
- 10:16Speaker 5: So that you don't allow the enemy to tell you
- 10:18Speaker 5: that if you were really saved, you wouldn't feel this way.
- 10:23Speaker 5: So that you don't allow that other voice on that
- 10:25Speaker 5: other shoulder to perpetuate itself in such a way that
- 10:29Speaker 5: you begin to question, am I in the will of
- 10:31Speaker 5: God or not? Because if I was in the will
- 10:33Speaker 5: of God, surely this wouldn't happen. Let me tell you,
- 10:37Speaker 5: you can be in the will of God and be bleeding.
- 10:43Speaker 5: You can be in the will of God and be stabbed.
- 10:46Speaker 5: We don't talk about this stuff. You can be in
- 10:48Speaker 5: the will of God and be wounded. You can be
- 10:52Speaker 5: in the will of God and be hemorrhaging. The will
- 10:54Speaker 5: of God does not protect you from the vicissitudes of life.
- 11:01Speaker 5: Comes wherever it wants to come. It does whatever it
- 11:03Speaker 5: wants to do. And you have to trust him. The
- 11:06Speaker 5: Bible says, I want to warn you that you don't
- 11:09Speaker 5: become weary. Because if you're not careful, life without demons,
- 11:19Speaker 5: life without witchcraft, life without sorcery, if you're not careful,
- 11:24Speaker 5: just life being life, life, life, and life, and life's
- 11:28Speaker 5: in your life will wear you out till you're tired.
- 11:33Speaker 5: I'm not talking about the tired where you need a
- 11:35Speaker 5: good night's sleep. I'm talking about the tired where you
- 11:38Speaker 5: wake up tired. Come on, talk to me, somebody. Where
- 11:42Speaker 5: you lay down tired. I'm talking about the kind of
- 11:45Speaker 5: tired where you wake up in the middle of the
- 11:47Speaker 5: night and you're tired and you ain't the 30, but
- 11:49Speaker 5: you wore out like you're 75. I'm talking about the
- 11:53Speaker 5: kind of tired that makes your back hurt and your
- 11:55Speaker 5: knee gets out of joint and you're 25. I'm talking
- 11:58Speaker 5: about the kind of tired that doesn't make any sense.
- 12:04Speaker 5: He says the antidote for being weary is looking unto Jesus.
- 12:12Speaker 5: I often worry about us going to heaven. Because I
- 12:20Speaker 5: think heaven is going to be embarrassing for us. I
- 12:25Speaker 5: don't want to stand beside apostles who were thrown in
- 12:29Speaker 5: the snake pits and crucified upside down and sawn asunder.
- 12:35Speaker 5: And when it comes to me, I say, they was
- 12:37Speaker 5: talking about me like a dog. It just sounds a
- 12:41Speaker 5: little bit embarrassing to me that what we call trouble
- 12:44Speaker 5: today is not worthy to be compared with our predecessors,
- 12:50Speaker 5: all that they went through and endured. Hallelujah. Look at
- 12:58Speaker 5: somebody and holler at them and say.
- 12:59Speaker 4: Endure it.
- 13:05Speaker 5: Endure it. Endure it. Don't quit, endure it. Don't walk away,
- 13:13Speaker 5: endure it. Don't put the child out, endure it. Don't
- 13:18Speaker 5: let the bad times disrupt you, endure it. And my
- 13:23Speaker 5: concern is, I know there's a point where you got
- 13:25Speaker 5: to let go of anything if it gets bad enough,
- 13:27Speaker 5: but my concern is we let go so easy. Because
- 13:35Speaker 5: we were taught to name it, claim it, Grab it
- 13:42Speaker 5: and possess it. But when they were teaching that, they
- 13:45Speaker 5: never taught us to endure it. Verse 4, ye have
- 13:51Speaker 5: not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. He said,
- 14:00Speaker 5: you have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
- 14:10Speaker 5: In fact, you may be praying for things that you're
- 14:13Speaker 5: not willing to pay for. And then talking, charging God
- 14:22Speaker 5: foolishly as if he didn't answer a request that you
- 14:26Speaker 5: didn't strive hard enough to be able to get. And
- 14:29Speaker 5: you cannot have a bloody savior who told you to
- 14:32Speaker 5: take up your cross and follow him. And you think
- 14:35Speaker 5: the cross is decoration. Take it off your neck and
- 14:39Speaker 5: put it on your back and bleed a little bit.
- 14:43Speaker 5: My God, my God, my God, my God, my God.
- 14:47Speaker 5: You got it all for decoration, egg tooths on the
- 14:49Speaker 5: back of your car, but no power in the back
- 14:52Speaker 5: of your soul. Endure some things. Striving against sin. We
- 15:00Speaker 5: don't teach that kind of stuff anymore, so we don't
- 15:03Speaker 5: get revivals. You can't get revival without repentance. You can
- 15:10Speaker 5: have church. You can raise an offering. You can have
- 15:14Speaker 5: a good time. But if you want real revival, it
- 15:18Speaker 5: comes after repentance. When people are laying on the altar
- 15:22Speaker 5: with tears running down their face saying, I'd rather have
- 15:25Speaker 5: Jesus than houses of land or silver or gold. And
- 15:29Speaker 5: my soul cries out, I'm sick of myself. I'm sick
- 15:35Speaker 5: of myself. I'm sick of my ways. I'm sick of
- 15:37Speaker 5: my mouth. I'm sick of my temper. I'm sick of
- 15:40Speaker 5: my hand to God. Oh, wretched man that I am.
- 15:44Speaker 5: Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
- 15:49Speaker 5: And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you
- 15:54Speaker 5: as unto children. Then he brings you in real close
- 16:00Speaker 5: and sets you on his lap. And says, my son.
- 16:07Speaker 5: How wonderful to be a son of God. How nice
- 16:12Speaker 5: to know that I am his son. And I smile
- 16:18Speaker 5: because that means I'm not bastardized. I'm legitimized. I am
- 16:25Speaker 5: his son. I belong to him. Satan, you can't do
- 16:28Speaker 5: just anything to me because I am his son. I
- 16:33Speaker 5: am a child of God. The Bible says this one
- 16:37Speaker 5: woman came to him and said, I am a daughter
- 16:40Speaker 5: of Abraham. Knowing your pedigree and your background, it's sometimes,
- 16:46Speaker 5: it's the only reason you get the blessing. It's not
- 16:48Speaker 5: because you resisted so well, but knowing the lineage that
- 16:52Speaker 5: you come from, sometimes God will give you a blessing
- 16:55Speaker 5: on credit. Oh, is there anybody in here that got
- 17:00Speaker 5: a blessing on credit? You know you weren't supposed to
- 17:02Speaker 5: be that blessed. You know you weren't supposed to be
- 17:05Speaker 5: that blessed, but God blessed you. And he said, my son,
- 17:12Speaker 5: despise not the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when
- 17:17Speaker 5: thou art rebuked of him. Oh, I didn't know he
- 17:21Speaker 5: was going to do that. For whom the Lord loveth,
- 17:49Speaker 5: That means you.
- 17:57Speaker 5: Look at somebody and say, that means you. Don't you
- 18:00Speaker 5: be standing there with your teeth all in your mouth
- 18:02Speaker 5: like he's not talking to you. He said, every son.
- 18:06Speaker 5: He scourges every son. He scourges every son. That's why
- 18:13Speaker 5: I'm not so crazy about, we used to have testimony service.
- 18:16Speaker 5: I'm not so crazy about testimony service because it ended
- 18:19Speaker 5: up being live money service because we never really got
- 18:22Speaker 5: down to really telling people about the scourging. We told
- 18:25Speaker 5: them about the successes. We told them about the victory.
- 18:29Speaker 5: We told them about the knowing. But sometimes we wasn't
- 18:33Speaker 5: really testifying. We were just lying. Because the truth of
- 18:37Speaker 5: the matter is we were being scourged. He scourges every
- 18:42Speaker 5: son whom he receiveth. My God. That means out of
- 18:50Speaker 5: glory and tribulations. I ought to get happy when all
- 18:54Speaker 5: hell is breaking loose. I ought to get to shouting
- 18:57Speaker 5: in the middle of a whipping. I ought to get
- 19:00Speaker 5: glad that you didn't let me do what you let
- 19:02Speaker 5: everybody else do. I ought to be glad that you
- 19:04Speaker 5: snatched me back in. I ought to be glad when
- 19:07Speaker 5: I'm lonely in the middle of the night. I ought
- 19:10Speaker 5: to be glad in a hotel room tossing back and
- 19:13Speaker 5: forth in the bed.
- 19:14Speaker 4: I ought to be glad.
- 19:17Speaker 5: That you're scourging me. Scourging me. You spanked me. You
- 19:33Speaker 5: flipped me. Jesus was smitten of God. Consider Jesus. The
- 19:42Speaker 5: next time you get ready to complain about your life,
- 19:47Speaker 5: just consider Jesus. Three things I want to talk to
- 19:52Speaker 5: you about tonight. I want you to jot these three
- 19:54Speaker 5: things down. I'm going to say this and I'm going
- 19:55Speaker 5: to be out your way. I want to talk to
- 19:59Speaker 5: you about conflicts, contradictions, and Christology. Conflicts Contradictions and Christology.
- 20:16Speaker 5: Spirit of the living God, fall fresh on us. Because
- 20:25Speaker 5: we're living in a conflicted age. And every time we
- 20:33Speaker 5: try to do something for you, we are attacked in
- 20:37Speaker 5: ways that create Sometimes I'm afraid that we understand pneumatology
- 20:53Speaker 5: better than we do Christology. That we argue about eschatology,
- 21:00Speaker 5: but we have not fully embraced Christology. And I know
- 21:05Speaker 5: I'm right, Lord. Because he who stood in the midst
- 21:08Speaker 5: of seven golden candlesticks ends up standing outside of the
- 21:13Speaker 5: whole organized religion knocking at the door. Saying, if any
- 21:18Speaker 5: man hear my voice. How did you get outside when
- 21:24Speaker 5: you started out in the midst of us? The dwell
- 21:28Speaker 5: amongst us God is now in the front yard hauling
- 21:32Speaker 5: in the windows.
- 21:33Speaker 6: If any man hear my voice.
- 21:39Speaker 5: And open up the door, I will come in and
- 21:43Speaker 5: sup with him. I don't have to have the whole church.
- 21:46Speaker 5: Ain't no need of you leaving churches. The church is
- 21:50Speaker 5: not the problem. It's up to you. He said, if
- 21:52Speaker 5: any one person hear my voice, I'll come in and
- 21:56Speaker 5: sup with him. I shall be his God. And he
- 22:03Speaker 5: shall be my people. And if your word is true,
- 22:08Speaker 5: let it be crystallized as it's being taught tonight. In
- 22:12Speaker 5: the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen. You may be seated. Yeah. Contradictions.
- 22:27Speaker 5: How can I be Alpha and Omega? How can I
- 22:32Speaker 5: be the beginning and the end? How can I be
- 22:36Speaker 5: the first and still be the last? How can I
- 22:41Speaker 5: be present in yesterday and forevermore simultaneously? How can I
- 22:49Speaker 5: be a root springing up out of dry ground? Contradictions.
- 22:56Speaker 5: How can it be the best of times? Such are
- 23:03Speaker 5: the times that we're living in right now. Christology means
- 23:09Speaker 5: that he is the branch of Christian theology. He epitomizes
- 23:18Speaker 5: what the church is all about. It's not this new age,
- 23:22Speaker 5: new on stuff that we preach now that passes for gospel.
- 23:29Speaker 5: that go so against the grain of what Christology is
- 23:33Speaker 5: that you can say it anywhere and get an amen.
- 23:38Speaker 5: Christology has to pick a side. It has to take
- 23:42Speaker 5: a stand. It has to prove all things, hope all things,
- 23:47Speaker 5: believe all things. It has to be Christ-centered, not self-centered.
- 23:52Speaker 5: Most of the songs we sing and the things we
- 23:54Speaker 5: talk about and the things we say and even the
- 23:57Speaker 5: things we preach about are more about us than they
- 24:00Speaker 5: are about him. Until we become Christ-centered, we have not
- 24:08Speaker 5: earned the right to be the church because it's all
- 24:13Speaker 5: about the Christology. Everything from Old Testament to New is
- 24:18Speaker 5: about Christology. Everything. I mean everything. Everything. When Jesus was
- 24:27Speaker 5: being born, the Bible also says he was the lamb
- 24:31Speaker 5: that was slain from the foundations of the world. When
- 24:35Speaker 5: Mary was pushing him out, he was bleeding from the cross.
- 24:44Speaker 5: You'll get that later on. In other words, God doesn't react,
- 24:48Speaker 5: he acts, he's sovereign. It was already settled before it
- 24:53Speaker 5: was ever a question. It was done before it started.
- 24:58Speaker 5: It was finished before it began. Before her water broke,
- 25:03Speaker 5: his side had ruptured and the blood and water had
- 25:06Speaker 5: come out of his side. Slain from the foundations of
- 25:10Speaker 5: the world. Before the voice of the Lord walked through
- 25:13Speaker 5: the cool of the garden looking for an animal to
- 25:17Speaker 5: be slain, Christ had already been offered up. And every
- 25:20Speaker 5: animal that was slain was just a shadow of what
- 25:24Speaker 5: he'd already done. A shadow cannot be seen until an
- 25:30Speaker 5: object stands in light. So the object that stands in
- 25:35Speaker 5: light stands from eternity into time. And everything that you
- 25:39Speaker 5: experience in between is just a shadow of the finished
- 25:44Speaker 5: work of what Christ has already done. Before he said
- 25:47Speaker 5: it is finished. Before he said tell Celestia. Before he
- 25:51Speaker 5: hung his head in the locks of his shoulder and died.
- 25:54Speaker 5: Before the earth got nervous and started trembling. Before the
- 25:59Speaker 5: sun gave way and refused to shine. Before the graves
- 26:02Speaker 5: opened up. all over Jerusalem before the veil in the
- 26:06Speaker 5: temple was rent from the top to the bottom. It
- 26:09Speaker 5: was already finished. There was no question about whether he
- 26:13Speaker 5: was going to win or not. He had already defeated
- 26:16Speaker 5: the enemy. We are comparing eternity to time. In eternity,
- 26:25Speaker 5: he was slain from the foundations of the world. Time
- 26:29Speaker 5: is just an usher to reveal what eternity has already decreed.
- 26:36Speaker 5: Y'all don't hear what I'm saying. Let me try this again.
- 26:38Speaker 5: So you're going to get it in time. It's already yours,
- 26:45Speaker 5: but you're going to get it in time. It's written
- 26:48Speaker 5: in heaven, but you're going to get it in time.
- 26:51Speaker 5: I have given you the land, that's eternity. To possess it,
- 26:56Speaker 5: best time. Y'all don't hear what I'm saying. Shake your
- 27:03Speaker 5: other neighbor's hand and say it's just a matter of time.
- 27:07Speaker 5: If it don't happen on Monday, it'll happen on Wednesday.
- 27:10Speaker 5: If it don't happen on Wednesday, it'll happen on Friday.
- 27:13Speaker 5: If it don't happen on Friday, it'll happen on Saturday.
- 27:16Speaker 5: But it's just a matter of time. Time is the
- 27:19Speaker 5: usher that brings about the fulfillment of that that was
- 27:23Speaker 5: already finished in eternity. Look at God. Look at him.
- 27:31Speaker 5: Consider Jesus. Oh, I do, baby.
- 27:46Speaker 4: Oh, I do.
- 27:48Speaker 5: I want you to understand the fullness of the power
- 27:52Speaker 5: of who Christ is and what he has done. This
- 27:55Speaker 5: is a branch of Christian theology that studies the person,
- 28:00Speaker 5: the nature, and the identity of Who he is, the
- 28:05Speaker 5: work of Christ. It seeks to answer the fundamental question,
- 28:11Speaker 5: who is Jesus Christ? And what does it mean that
- 28:18Speaker 5: he is both God and man? Not part God and
- 28:25Speaker 5: part man. He is fully God and fully man. I
- 28:30Speaker 5: want you to look at the contradiction of the statement.
- 28:33Speaker 5: How can you be all the way God and still
- 28:36Speaker 5: be all the way man? Look at the contradiction between
- 28:40Speaker 5: the two extremities. Two things that don't even match. The
- 28:44Speaker 5: terrestrial and the celestial abiding in the same body at
- 28:49Speaker 5: the same time. For we have this treasure in earthen
- 28:54Speaker 5: vessels that the excellency may be of God and not
- 28:58Speaker 5: of us. Look at somebody say they're both true. It's
- 29:06Speaker 5: not mutually exclusive. They're both true. Both polarities are true.
- 29:14Speaker 5: Both extremities are true. It is both about to happen
- 29:19Speaker 5: and it is already finished at the same time. Y'all
- 29:23Speaker 5: don't hear what I'm saying. I'm saying more than you sin.
- 29:28Speaker 5: Glory to God. I'm saying more than I'm saying. But
- 29:31Speaker 5: if you consider Jesus, it'll make you stop worrying about
- 29:34Speaker 5: where you are because you already know that the fight
- 29:38Speaker 5: is fixed and it's only a matter. of time until
- 29:41Speaker 5: God reveals who you are and you'll stop needing validation
- 29:44Speaker 5: from people because pretty soon God is going to lift
- 29:47Speaker 5: you up and if you be lifted up from the
- 29:50Speaker 5: earth he'll draw all men you trying to draw all
- 29:55Speaker 5: men and you haven't been lifted up And you're saying,
- 30:06Speaker 5: how long, Lord? And he's saying, it's just a matter
- 30:11Speaker 5: of time until that which I showed you in the
- 30:16Speaker 5: spirit manifests in the flesh. It's just a matter of time.
- 30:25Speaker 5: It's just a matter of time. It's only a matter
- 30:29Speaker 5: of time It's already done. He who said I go
- 30:36Speaker 5: to prepare a place for you that where I am
- 30:38Speaker 5: there ye may be also was born without a room.
- 30:49Speaker 5: I'm talking about the contradictions between the two extremities. On
- 30:54Speaker 5: one hand he's talking to me about mansions and on
- 30:56Speaker 5: the other hand he's homeless. They wrapped him up in
- 31:03Speaker 5: milk rags. They wrapped him up in milk rags while
- 31:09Speaker 5: the magic brought gold and silver to the king who
- 31:15Speaker 5: was a king in a barn. Contradictions. Can you live
- 31:21Speaker 5: with your contradictions? Can you stand your contradictions?
- 31:27Speaker 7: Yes.
- 31:27Speaker 5: Can you be anointed and not be appointed? Can you
- 31:31Speaker 5: be gifted and be ignored at the same time? Can
- 31:34Speaker 5: you be filled and overlooked at the same time? Can
- 31:38Speaker 5: you endure contradictions? Loved and hated. Loved and spanked. All
- 31:52Speaker 5: of this text is so full of contradictions. All of
- 31:58Speaker 5: the book is full of contradiction. God so loved the
- 32:01Speaker 5: world that he gave his only begotten son is a
- 32:04Speaker 5: love story until you look at Acts and see that
- 32:07Speaker 5: his passion was a cross. What does blood have to
- 32:15Speaker 5: do with Romeo and Juliet? He so loved us. The
- 32:22Speaker 5: word so is infinity. Infinity. There's no end to so.
- 32:27Speaker 5: So just goes on all through time, escapes into eternity.
- 32:32Speaker 5: He so loved us from everlasting to everlasting. Thou art God.
- 32:37Speaker 5: He has loved me with an everlasting love, but he
- 32:41Speaker 5: symbolizes it through a bloody crime scene. Was it a
- 32:48Speaker 5: crucifixion or an execution? How can a crucifixion also be
- 33:01Speaker 5: an execution at the same time? And both things are true.
- 33:06Speaker 5: They executed him like he was a criminal surrounded by
- 33:10Speaker 5: other criminals. It was common for Rome to execute men
- 33:14Speaker 5: on the cross. But his execution was also his crucifixion.
- 33:22Speaker 5: Consider Jesus. Who endured such contradictions? Twelve-year-old boy walks into
- 33:34Speaker 5: the temple, confounds the doctors and lawyers, and hadn't been
- 33:39Speaker 5: to nobody's school. But who can teach you about the
- 33:45Speaker 5: word when you are the word? When you are the
- 33:52Speaker 5: word made flesh. Who can tell you about when you're
- 33:57Speaker 5: the author of the book, when you're the finisher of
- 33:59Speaker 5: the faith, then who can come along and get a
- 34:02Speaker 5: chalkboard and explain God to God? Two disciples on the
- 34:07Speaker 5: road to Emmaus tried to explain God to God, and
- 34:11Speaker 5: they couldn't do it. They tried to tell him what
- 34:13Speaker 5: had happened as if they were informing him. And he,
- 34:18Speaker 5: in a seven-mile stretch of road... Open up the scriptures
- 34:23Speaker 5: and told them through every Old Testament scripture who Jesus was.
- 34:30Speaker 5: He didn't even scrape against the New Testament. He just
- 34:33Speaker 5: went all through the Old Testament declaring who he was
- 34:37Speaker 5: in front of people who were trying to teach the rabbi.
- 34:43Speaker 7: Rabbi.
- 34:44Speaker 5: Good master. He is the word manifest in the flesh.
- 34:52Speaker 5: justified in the spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles,
- 34:59Speaker 5: believed on in the world, and received up in the glory.
- 35:02Speaker 5: I'm talking about your Jesus. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. This
- 35:05Speaker 5: is Christology. I'm talking about your Jesus. I'm not talking
- 35:08Speaker 5: about Buddha or Confucius or Socrates. I'm talking about your Jesus.
- 35:14Speaker 5: Your Jesus. Your Jesus. Your Jesus. Your Jesus. I'm talking
- 35:20Speaker 5: about your Jesus. He was so much tied to both
- 35:26Speaker 5: past and present that when they pierced him in his
- 35:30Speaker 5: side and cut through the veil of his flesh, the
- 35:33Speaker 5: veil in the temple ripped from the top to the bottom.
- 35:38Speaker 5: Because what the veil in the temple was is the
- 35:42Speaker 5: same thing his flesh was. And when you rip the shadow,
- 35:46Speaker 5: you rip the reality at the same time. I'm talking
- 35:51Speaker 5: about the veils being ripped open. I'm talking about the
- 35:54Speaker 5: veil showing himself. I'm talking about God. When he rips
- 35:57Speaker 5: one thing, he rips everything. My shadow cannot do any
- 36:01Speaker 5: more than my body is moving because my shadow is
- 36:05Speaker 5: bound to objects in lights. So you will never see
- 36:12Speaker 5: my shadow walk past me. It can only do what
- 36:23Speaker 5: the object in light has already done. It mimics. It
- 36:28Speaker 5: shows off. It declares. It saturates. In fact, when God
- 36:33Speaker 5: made man from the dust of the earth and breathed
- 36:35Speaker 5: into him the breath of a living soul, we were
- 36:38Speaker 5: created in his and after his. Oh, so we were
- 36:44Speaker 5: a reflection. And the shadow is a reflection. My shadow
- 36:52Speaker 5: moves because my hand moves. My shadow walks because my
- 36:57Speaker 5: legs walk. My shadow is in the image of the
- 37:01Speaker 5: object that stands in light. Look at Jesus! If you
- 37:11Speaker 5: pray for me, I'll teach you a thing tonight. So
- 37:23Speaker 5: the truth that the Old Testament concealed, the New Testament revealed.
- 37:30Speaker 5: But it was one truth. And Christology was there before
- 37:35Speaker 5: Mary was born. That's why Jesus said before Abraham was,
- 37:39Speaker 5: I am. That's why he told Moses, I am that
- 37:45Speaker 5: I am. There's no dispute. There's no argument. He which
- 37:49Speaker 5: is and was and is to come all at the
- 37:52Speaker 5: same time. He's in your yesterday. He's in your today.
- 37:57Speaker 5: And he's already rushed into your tomorrow all at the
- 38:00Speaker 5: same time. That's why when you've been scarred as a child,
- 38:04Speaker 5: you can pray as a grown man and the power
- 38:07Speaker 5: can hit you as a man and go all the
- 38:09Speaker 5: way back into your yesterday and heal that which was
- 38:13Speaker 5: and that which is and that which is to come
- 38:15Speaker 5: because he is not bound by your clocks and your watches.
- 38:19Speaker 5: Before there was a watch, before there was a clock
- 38:22Speaker 5: on the wall, he was God All by himself. And
- 38:27Speaker 5: the evening and the morning were the first day. He
- 38:32Speaker 5: was there when the first day was made. He is
- 38:36Speaker 5: the Lord of the Sabbath. He is the creator of time.
- 38:41Speaker 5: He is your God. He is your Jesus. He is
- 38:47Speaker 5: your Messiah. Do you hear what I'm saying to you?
- 38:52Speaker 5: He is your anointed one. Jesus Christos. He is the
- 38:59Speaker 5: anointed one. The anointed one is not his last name.
- 39:04Speaker 5: It's his description. It's his essence. He was the anointed one.
- 39:13Speaker 5: Whether you call him Jesus Christ or Christ Jesus, he
- 39:16Speaker 5: is the anointed one. Sometimes the text calls him Jesus Christ.
- 39:21Speaker 5: Because the flesh hides the Christos. But when he raised
- 39:26Speaker 5: from the dead, they called him Christ Jesus. because he
- 39:30Speaker 5: was raised up from the dead by the glory of
- 39:33Speaker 5: the father it's just a matter of position Jesus Christ
- 39:39Speaker 5: of Christ Jesus you read Ephesians chapter 1 it uses
- 39:42Speaker 5: both of them in the same verse Because one of
- 39:45Speaker 5: them refers. To the flesh up front. And the other
- 39:48Speaker 5: one refers. To the spirit that raised up the flesh.
- 39:52Speaker 5: The same spirit. That quickened Jesus mortal body. And raised
- 39:56Speaker 5: it from the dead. Shall also quicken your mortal body.
- 40:01Speaker 5: The Christos. That's why the Holy Spirit fell. While he
- 40:08Speaker 5: was still in the Jordan River. To testify. To the authenticity.
- 40:14Speaker 5: Of who he was. And the spirit descended on him.
- 40:18Speaker 5: Like as a dove. Because God is an actor. It
- 40:26Speaker 5: wasn't that it was a dove. It was like as.
- 40:30Speaker 5: A dove. And he descended like as a dove. And
- 40:34Speaker 5: the father spoke from heaven and said, this is my
- 40:37Speaker 5: beloved son, whom the Lord loveth. He chastened him. Y'all
- 40:40Speaker 5: don't hear me. I'm going to tie it all up
- 40:42Speaker 5: before I sit down. Whom the Lord loveth. He chastened him.
- 40:44Speaker 5: So he said, this is my beloved son in whom
- 40:47Speaker 5: I am, in whom I am well pleased. How could
- 40:52Speaker 5: he be speak from heaven and then say in whom? Amen.
- 41:00Speaker 5: God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself. But
- 41:04Speaker 5: that does not mean that Christ was not in God.
- 41:12Speaker 5: Can I teach tonight? I feel something about to happen.
- 41:20Speaker 5: I feel something about to happen. Touch three people and
- 41:23Speaker 5: say something's about to happen in here. Something's about to happen.
- 41:32Speaker 5: Lift this for me. Something's about to happen. Yeah. As
- 41:38Speaker 5: you lift it, lift it slow, lift it slow, lift
- 41:40Speaker 5: it slow, lift it slow. Apocalypse, the unveiling. The apocalypse
- 41:46Speaker 5: means that God unveils that which was hidden, that he
- 41:50Speaker 5: shows off. He doesn't create it, he just reveals it.
- 41:54Speaker 5: The greatest mystery of godliness, and he unveils, oh my God,
- 42:00Speaker 5: that's the Ark of the Covenant. This is the epitome
- 42:03Speaker 5: of how it all started. It is Emmanuel, God tabernacled
- 42:08Speaker 5: with us. It is the meeting place between God and man.
- 42:12Speaker 5: That's what the Garden of Eden was all about. When
- 42:16Speaker 5: divinity wanted to meet with humanity, they met in the garden. Adam!
- 42:24Speaker 5: Where art thou? This is The Ark of the Covenant.
- 42:33Speaker 5: Look at the contrast between the gold that Eliezer put
- 42:38Speaker 5: in place and the desert that it was in. Tumbleweed
- 42:47Speaker 5: moving through the dry place and gold standing all at
- 42:54Speaker 5: the same time. Can we talk about it? Glory to God.
- 42:58Speaker 5: Who would put a gold artifact in the middle of
- 43:02Speaker 5: a desert? I have been in the desert, in the wilderness.
- 43:06Speaker 5: I have felt the wind blow across my face. I
- 43:09Speaker 5: have seen the particles of sand almost blind my eyes.
- 43:14Speaker 5: I have been on the Jericho Road. I have walked
- 43:17Speaker 5: down the Jericho Road. I have been out in the wilderness.
- 43:20Speaker 5: Who would put something so precious there? in something so
- 43:24Speaker 5: desolate only God would make the contradiction and the contrast
- 43:29Speaker 5: of putting something bright in the presence of something so
- 43:33Speaker 5: dark and shame filled listen at the wind blow and
- 43:42Speaker 5: understand that this is not just a beautiful piece of
- 43:45Speaker 5: furniture this is an expression of who Christ is I
- 44:00Speaker 5: sent them out because they're carrying the altar of incense,
- 44:05Speaker 5: which represents the prayers of the saints. You can never
- 44:09Speaker 5: make it to here until you have prayed till your
- 44:13Speaker 5: prayers aromatize the room. God can smell your prayers. Your
- 44:19Speaker 5: prayers go up before God as a sweet smelling savor.
- 44:23Speaker 5: You sit up and talk about, I wonder, does he
- 44:25Speaker 5: hear me? You should be asking, I wonder, does he
- 44:28Speaker 5: smell me? Because the prayers of the saints go up
- 44:32Speaker 5: before God as a sweet-smelling savor. Ooh, I smell it now.
- 44:37Speaker 5: That is the smell of frankincense and myrrh. That is
- 44:42Speaker 5: the smell of mothers praying on their knees. That is
- 44:46Speaker 5: the smell of tears running down young men's face saying,
- 44:49Speaker 5: am I enough? Can I do what you assigned me
- 44:52Speaker 5: to do? Am I capable of being who you sent
- 44:55Speaker 5: me to be? That is the smell of your prayers
- 44:59Speaker 5: going up before God that has filled the nostrils of
- 45:02Speaker 5: God that make it possible for you to slip beyond
- 45:06Speaker 5: the veil and go into the holies of holies. On
- 45:12Speaker 5: the day of atonement. And touch the ark. Of the covenant.
- 45:20Speaker 5: Tell your neighbor. I smell something on you. That's what
- 45:24Speaker 5: it's like to be around truly anointed people. It's old school.
- 45:28Speaker 5: You don't see that anymore. But to be around somebody
- 45:31Speaker 5: that's really consecrated, they put off a scent. They put
- 45:35Speaker 5: off a fragrance. They have an aura. They have a presence.
- 45:40Speaker 5: They don't have to tell you they're anointed. If you
- 45:42Speaker 5: get around them, you can sense the anointing. That's what
- 45:46Speaker 5: it means to burst an alabaster box. The box is alabaster,
- 45:52Speaker 5: but the ointment is spicknard. And when the spicknard got
- 45:55Speaker 5: loose from its container, it filled the whole room. For
- 46:00Speaker 5: we have this treasure in earthen vessels that the excellency
- 46:05Speaker 5: may be of God and not of us. I smell
- 46:11Speaker 5: God doing something. I smell God moving something. I smell
- 46:16Speaker 5: God healing something. I smell God fixing something. I smell
- 46:21Speaker 5: the Christology of God himself making himself known before Mary
- 46:27Speaker 5: was born. This is the schoolmaster that taught me who
- 46:33Speaker 5: Jesus was. This is the ark of the covenant. This
- 46:39Speaker 5: is what God had Moses to build. In the desert,
- 46:44Speaker 5: some translations say out of acacia wood, others say shittum wood.
- 46:49Speaker 5: He formed it out of wood. A perishable material. Incorruptible,
- 46:59Speaker 5: but perishable. Let me explain the difference between the two.
- 47:03Speaker 5: It was incorruptible, that is to say, that termites and
- 47:08Speaker 5: foreign matters could not destroy it. thou will not allow
- 47:13Speaker 5: thy holy one to see corruption. Yet he was all
- 47:17Speaker 5: the way man. So the wood that you can't see
- 47:22Speaker 5: represents the man. But the gold represents the God. So
- 47:31Speaker 5: when Jesus prays, being filled, you can't see it, but
- 47:37Speaker 5: there's as much gold on the inside as there is
- 47:40Speaker 5: on the outside. And this is a sandwich effect. There's
- 47:44Speaker 5: gold on the inside. There's wood in the middle. And
- 47:49Speaker 5: there's gold on the outside. So when Jesus prayed, Father,
- 47:54Speaker 5: glorify me with the glory I had with you before
- 47:58Speaker 5: the foundations of the world. He was praying for the
- 48:02Speaker 5: outer coat. Because when he was born, the Bible says,
- 48:07Speaker 5: and the word was made flesh and dwelt among us,
- 48:10Speaker 5: and we beheld the wonder of his glory, the only
- 48:13Speaker 5: begotten of the Father, full of grace and full of truth.
- 48:17Speaker 5: If he's full of glory, if he's Emmanuel, God tabernacled
- 48:23Speaker 5: with us, then all he could do was ask the
- 48:26Speaker 5: Father to glorify me with the glory that I had
- 48:29Speaker 5: with you before the foundations of the world. My God.
- 48:40Speaker 5: Non-perishable on the outside. Inlaid with the same gold on
- 48:50Speaker 5: the inside. And the wood, the wood part is hidden
- 48:58Speaker 5: between the golds. It's like Noah's Ark. When Noah made
- 49:04Speaker 5: the ark, the Bible said it was pitched within and without.
- 49:10Speaker 5: That's why it didn't go down in the water because
- 49:12Speaker 5: there was as much on the inside as there was
- 49:15Speaker 5: on the outside. And whenever God makes something, he makes
- 49:18Speaker 5: it to last. can I go just a little bit
- 49:24Speaker 5: deeper I feel something working in this place who's getting
- 49:28Speaker 5: a blessing tonight I don't know who it is but
- 49:30Speaker 5: I feel somebody getting a blessing tonight this has stayed
- 49:39Speaker 5: To be carried by men. Because God wanted to be
- 49:44Speaker 5: so close to you. That you would feel the weight
- 49:50Speaker 5: of glory. The doxa. The weight of glory. Was to
- 49:56Speaker 5: be born on your shoulder. Not in a new cart.
- 50:02Speaker 5: But on your back. The full weight of glory. Rest
- 50:10Speaker 5: on those of us. Who have been called. To carry.
- 50:15Speaker 5: His anointing. And you don't want to feel any pressure.
- 50:21Speaker 5: Then you don't want to carry any glory. Because glory
- 50:28Speaker 5: has weight. It has weight. And it was made to
- 50:33Speaker 5: be born of men. And to be carried.
- 50:37Speaker 7: It.
- 50:38Speaker 5: This may not look like it, but this is a chair.
- 50:47Speaker 5: This is the mercy seat. This is the place where
- 50:56Speaker 5: mercy and truth are met together. And righteousness and peace
- 51:00Speaker 5: have kissed each other. And truth shall spring out of
- 51:04Speaker 5: the earth. And the Lord shall look down from heaven.
- 51:08Speaker 5: And the Lord shall give that which is good, and
- 51:10Speaker 5: our land shall yield her increase. This is what Jesus
- 51:15Speaker 5: went through the veil of the clouds to place his
- 51:19Speaker 5: blood on the mercy seat, lest the Father look down
- 51:25Speaker 5: and see the law that is carried inside this box.
- 51:30Speaker 5: Three items are carried inside of this box. The Ten Commandments.
- 51:38Speaker 5: Aaron's rod that budded and the pot of manna. And
- 51:42Speaker 5: if God looks on his law and all of his righteousness,
- 51:46Speaker 5: he is ready to condemn. But because the blood has
- 51:49Speaker 5: hit the mercy seat, he says, when I see the blood.
- 51:54Speaker 5: I will pass over you. You missed your time to shout.
- 51:58Speaker 5: Your time to shout is right now because you know
- 52:01Speaker 5: you did some mess that if God looked at your
- 52:05Speaker 5: naked mess, you wouldn't have no title. You wouldn't be
- 52:08Speaker 5: no prophet. You wouldn't be no bishop. You wouldn't be
- 52:11Speaker 5: no elder. But when death was passing by, the blood
- 52:16Speaker 5: prevailed over your life. And you've got a mercy. You're
- 52:20Speaker 5: standing in mercy. That's why I can't understand why you
- 52:23Speaker 5: are so judgmental and so critical. Because if it had
- 52:27Speaker 5: not been.
- 52:27Speaker 4: For the blood.
- 52:30Speaker 5: I say it again. If it had not been for
- 52:33Speaker 5: the blood... They didn't hear me if it.
- 52:38Speaker 7: Had not been for the blood.
- 52:52Speaker 5: For we have not a high priest who cannot be
- 52:54Speaker 5: touched by the feeling of our infirmity, tempted in all
- 52:57Speaker 5: points like as we are, yet without sin. Our high
- 53:01Speaker 5: priest entered once and for all. To sanctify us. To
- 53:09Speaker 5: set us free. This is the mercy seat. This is
- 53:14Speaker 5: what Isaiah. Talks about in the year King Uzziah died,
- 53:18Speaker 5: I saw also the Lord high and lifted up and
- 53:21Speaker 5: his train filled the temple. And above him were cherubims
- 53:25Speaker 5: saying one to another, holy, holy, holy is the Lord
- 53:30Speaker 5: God of hosts. It is not just that God comes
- 53:32Speaker 5: when you praise him. God comes when you talk about
- 53:36Speaker 5: him to each other. And when you face each other
- 53:39Speaker 5: and start speaking and conversate about who he is, he
- 53:44Speaker 5: manifests himself in the midst of his people. That's why
- 53:47Speaker 5: I can't be around deadbeat people. I can't be around
- 53:50Speaker 5: people who are gossiping in the car. I can't be
- 53:53Speaker 5: around people who are full of lust and foolishness and
- 53:56Speaker 5: he say and she say. I got to be around
- 53:59Speaker 5: somebody that when I say, hallelujah, you say, hallelujah. When
- 54:02Speaker 5: I say, Jesus, you say, Christ. When I say, thank you,
- 54:06Speaker 5: you say, Lordy. I got to have somebody that's reflecting
- 54:10Speaker 5: the glory back and forth. And whenever we reflect the glory,
- 54:15Speaker 5: it won't take so many of us. Where two or
- 54:18Speaker 5: three are gathered together in my name, there am I. Oh,
- 54:22Speaker 5: I was going to quit. And they said one to another, holy, holy,
- 54:32Speaker 5: holy is the Lord God of hosts. The whole earth
- 54:37Speaker 5: is full of his glory. And he inhabited their conversation.
- 54:44Speaker 5: Find somebody, if you can, who you can talk about
- 54:48Speaker 5: Jesus to. And strike up a conversation with them right now.
- 54:52Speaker 5: And start telling them who Jesus has been to you.
- 54:56Speaker 5: And watch God come down into your conversation. Find somebody.
- 55:02Speaker 5: Find somebody. Find somebody. Find somebody. Find somebody. And the
- 55:10Speaker 5: more you talk about him, the more he'll come. And
- 55:13Speaker 5: the more you talk about him, the more he'll prevail.
- 55:17Speaker 5: And the more you talk about him, the more he'll
- 55:19Speaker 5: be magnified. And the more you talk about him, the
- 55:22Speaker 5: more the enemy will have to get out of the way.
- 55:25Speaker 5: And the more you talk about it, his train will
- 55:27Speaker 5: fill the temple. And the more you talk about it,
- 55:30Speaker 5: the poster of the door will move. And the house
- 55:33Speaker 5: will be filled with smoke. And the more you talk
- 55:36Speaker 5: about it, the more your bodies will be healed. And
- 55:39Speaker 5: the more you talk about it, the more doubt and
- 55:42Speaker 5: depression will have to get out of your way. You
- 55:45Speaker 5: can't talk about the Savior and still growl. If you
- 55:49Speaker 5: start talking about Jesus... I was... That's all right. That's
- 56:11Speaker 5: all right. That's all right. I expected him to show up.
- 56:15Speaker 5: I've been waiting on him to show up. I've been
- 56:18Speaker 5: waiting on him to walk in the room. I've been
- 56:20Speaker 5: waiting on him to heal somebody. I've been waiting on
- 56:23Speaker 5: him to feel somebody. I've been waiting on him to
- 56:26Speaker 5: deliver somebody. As soon as you get your mouth right...
- 56:30Speaker 5: God's glory will fall right. He will inhabit what comes
- 56:34Speaker 5: out of your mouth. He's a speaking God. He's a
- 56:39Speaker 5: speaking God. And whenever he speaks, he moves. And whenever
- 56:43Speaker 5: he moves, we speak. Let the redeemed of the Lord. Amen.
- 57:09Speaker 5: I can almost see two angels sitting on the rolled
- 57:16Speaker 5: away stone when he rose from the dead and Mary
- 57:20Speaker 5: and them came down with frankincense and myrrh. And the
- 57:28Speaker 5: angels stood on that which was rolled away and said,
- 57:33Speaker 5: he is not here. He has risen. This holy place
- 57:40Speaker 5: is shadowed by the Ark of the Covenant before us.
- 57:47Speaker 5: This was what David brought back that Saul did not.
- 57:55Speaker 5: Saul was after positions David was after presence. And because
- 58:01Speaker 5: Saul just wanted position, the kingdom was taken away from him.
- 58:07Speaker 5: And God said, I found the man who is after
- 58:10Speaker 5: my heart. And when he found him, the train filled
- 58:15Speaker 5: the temple and the glory fell. And what made God
- 58:20Speaker 5: move in such a supernatural way is that David always
- 58:24Speaker 5: preferred presence. Over titles and placements and principles. And we're
- 58:36Speaker 5: living in an age where all we want is titles.
- 58:41Speaker 5: We think the bigger the title, the more important we are.
- 58:45Speaker 5: But when you really get big enough, your name will
- 58:48Speaker 5: swallow up your title. Because God didn't say, I'll make
- 58:52Speaker 5: your title great. He said, I'll make your name great.
- 58:56Speaker 5: Talk to me, somebody. He said, I'll make your name great. Abram,
- 59:00Speaker 5: I'll make your name great. I will bless him that
- 59:03Speaker 5: bless you and curse him that curse you. And you
- 59:06Speaker 5: don't have to hide behind any kind of title because
- 59:09Speaker 5: your name will be great. stand all by itself. I
- 59:11Speaker 5: heard the Bible say, Paul I know and Jesus I know,
- 59:17Speaker 5: but who are you? Oh my God, I feel something.
- 59:31Speaker 5: I feel something in this room. I feel the presence
- 59:33Speaker 5: of God in this room. I feel the Shekinah glory
- 59:37Speaker 5: in this room. When the Shekinah glory hit the Ark
- 59:40Speaker 5: of the Covenant, it lit up the entire tabernacle. Even
- 59:45Speaker 5: at night, when it was dark outside, the Shekinah glory
- 59:50Speaker 5: would fill the place. Watch this. In the outer court,
- 59:53Speaker 5: we have daylight. In the inner court, we have candlelights.
- 1:00:01Speaker 5: In the holies of holies, we have divine light. God
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: didn't need a lantern. He didn't need a flashlight. He
- 1:00:09Speaker 5: didn't need an oil lamp. The power of his glory
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: illuminated the whole room. So when David brings back the
- 1:00:17Speaker 5: Ark of the Covenant, he doesn't need daylight nor candlelight
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: because he has Shekinah glory, which is divine light. Are
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: you hearing what I'm saying to you? Touch nine people
- 1:00:35Speaker 5: and say something's going to happen in here tonight. Something's
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: going to happen in here tonight. Something's going to happen
- 1:00:43Speaker 5: in here tonight. I can feel it in my hands.
- 1:00:47Speaker 5: I can feel it in my feet. It's getting heavy
- 1:00:50Speaker 5: in here. The train is filling the temple. The glory
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: of the Lord is in this place. I was weary
- 1:00:58Speaker 5: when I came in, but I feel strength coming up
- 1:01:02Speaker 5: in my spirit. I was tired when I came in,
- 1:01:05Speaker 5: but I feel power coming up in my spirit. I
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: was bound when I came in here, but somebody cut
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: my hands loose. Somebody cut my feet loose, and I'm
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: moving around in what should have burned me up. Christology,
- 1:01:45Speaker 5: when Christ existed, the more good he did, the more
- 1:01:50Speaker 5: he was persecuted. The more he was the prince of peace,
- 1:01:58Speaker 5: the harder they beat him. The contradiction is a sign
- 1:02:05Speaker 5: that God is with you. I'm almost finished. I was
- 1:02:13Speaker 5: walking through the house and the Lord said to me,
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: he who created the tree stumbled carrying the cross. I'm
- 1:02:39Speaker 5: going to say that again. He Who created the tree. Stumbled.
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: At the weight of carrying the cross. And when I
- 1:02:48Speaker 5: thought about stumbling. It took me to that ox. That
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: was carrying the ark of the covenant. And the Bible said.
- 1:02:59Speaker 5: It's an odd word to use for an ox. It
- 1:03:01Speaker 5: says the ox stumbled. The ox stumbled. And Uzzah. Whose
- 1:03:07Speaker 5: name means strength. Reached out to save God with his strength.
- 1:03:12Speaker 5: But the Bible said, not by might, nor by power,
- 1:03:16Speaker 5: but by my spirit, saith the Lord. And when others
- 1:03:20Speaker 5: tried to give strength to he who made strength, he died.
- 1:03:31Speaker 5: I wonder how many times you're trying to help God
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: fix something. I wonder how many times you have put
- 1:03:39Speaker 5: your hands in the stuff that was none of your business.
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: I wonder how many times you have touched a sanctified
- 1:03:49Speaker 5: place that was holy unto the Lord. And Uzzah died.
- 1:04:00Speaker 5: And he died meaning well. And he died trying to
- 1:04:04Speaker 5: do good. But he died because he did not respect
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: the presence of God. Let me give you one more
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: scripture and I'll try to come out of this thing.
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: You see, before David could bring the Ark of the Covenant,
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: the Bible says that when the Philistines came down to
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: fight against the children of Israel, that the first time
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: they killed, I believe it was 19,000 people. And the
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: children of Israel went back to get the Ark of
- 1:04:32Speaker 5: the Covenant. They had the Ark of the Covenant, but
- 1:04:36Speaker 5: they didn't have relationship with the covenant in the Ark.
- 1:04:43Speaker 5: So the Bible says, see, I like to preach the Bible.
- 1:04:48Speaker 5: So the Bible says that when they brought back the
- 1:04:52Speaker 5: Ark of the Covenant, they brought back the Ark of
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: the Covenant and it was so strong. that the enemy
- 1:04:59Speaker 5: was terrified when they saw this because whenever you see this,
- 1:05:04Speaker 5: something is going to happen. Whenever you see this, somebody's
- 1:05:09Speaker 5: going to be defeated and destroyed. Only this time, he
- 1:05:18Speaker 5: didn't fight for people who were only using him and
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: exploiting his power for their own name. And 33,000 men
- 1:05:36Speaker 5: died that day. And they took the Ark of the
- 1:05:39Speaker 5: Covenant to Ahinoam's house to stay with the men of Kirjoth-Jerim.
- 1:05:48Speaker 5: And they stayed there 20 years. Am I in the book?
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: They stayed there 20 years. And every time they tried
- 1:05:56Speaker 5: to put a God up in front of him, he
- 1:05:59Speaker 5: knocked it down. Because he said, I will have no
- 1:06:03Speaker 5: other God before me. Are you hearing what I'm saying?
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: And Saul, with all of his power and all of
- 1:06:11Speaker 5: his armies and all of his authority, never once tried
- 1:06:15Speaker 5: to get the glory back. So when David comes back
- 1:06:21Speaker 5: with the Ark of the Covenant, a howl is going
- 1:06:26Speaker 5: in front of them. Okay? And they're bringing the Ark
- 1:06:30Speaker 5: of the Covenant back on a new cart. The problem
- 1:06:33Speaker 5: with the cart is that the cart ignored the staves.
- 1:06:39Speaker 5: That means that God will only ride on the shoulders
- 1:06:44Speaker 5: of people who know him. Now you're living in a
- 1:06:50Speaker 5: time where you got worldly folks telling you who Jesus is.
- 1:06:57Speaker 5: And they're making posts every day, and you are defending
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: and trying to reason with people who have never carried
- 1:07:03Speaker 5: the Ark of the Covenant. They don't know anything about
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: the weight of glory. They only know the weight of reasoning.
- 1:07:12Speaker 5: And God defies all human rationale. But what the Bible say,
- 1:07:18Speaker 5: if the gospel be hid, it is hid from them
- 1:07:22Speaker 5: that are lost. But because you so respect social media,
- 1:07:28Speaker 5: you're having fights with people on social media who have
- 1:07:32Speaker 5: never walked into the light. When you ought to understand
- 1:07:38Speaker 5: why they can't see it. For eyes have not seen.
- 1:07:44Speaker 5: Ears have not heard. Neither have entered into the heart
- 1:07:47Speaker 5: of man the things that God has prepared for them
- 1:07:50Speaker 5: that love him. But It had been revealed unto us
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: by his spirit. David gets ready to bring back the
- 1:08:00Speaker 5: Ark of the Covenant. Uzzah touches it. He dies. David
- 1:08:07Speaker 5: gets frustrated because of the contradiction. I'm trying to do
- 1:08:13Speaker 5: good and why are so many things going wrong? I'm
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: trying to do good and why is my marriage falling apart?
- 1:08:19Speaker 5: I'm trying to serve the Lord and why is my
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: flesh acting up? I'm trying to praise the Lord and
- 1:08:25Speaker 5: why is my body sick? And David gave up the
- 1:08:29Speaker 5: Ark of the Covenant to Obed-Edom because he could not
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: endure the contradiction. I'm going to wrap this up. He
- 1:08:43Speaker 5: could not endure the contradiction and it lasted for three months.
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: But what God will do To remind you that you
- 1:08:52Speaker 5: are his. He will take the blessing that should have
- 1:08:55Speaker 5: been yours. And give it to somebody else. until your
- 1:09:02Speaker 5: envy overrides your frustration. And David finally knocks on the
- 1:09:09Speaker 5: house of Obed-Edom and says, give me back the glory.
- 1:09:14Speaker 5: And whatever I have to do to bring back the glory,
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: I'm willing to do it. And the Bible said that
- 1:09:20Speaker 5: they put the Ark of the Covenant on the shoulders
- 1:09:23Speaker 5: of the priests. And David got out in front of
- 1:09:26Speaker 5: them and started dancing. Y'all don't hear what I'm saying.
- 1:09:30Speaker 5: The Bible said he started dancing. He started dancing because
- 1:09:35Speaker 5: he was using the key of David. Now the key
- 1:09:39Speaker 5: of Moses required the brazen altar, the brazen labor, the
- 1:09:43Speaker 5: altar of incense, the table of shoe bread, but the
- 1:09:47Speaker 5: key of David only required a praise. And when praises
- 1:09:50Speaker 5: go up, blessings come back. I'm wondering if there's any
- 1:09:55Speaker 5: Davids in the house. that know how to bring God's
- 1:09:58Speaker 5: glory back with a praise. Is there anybody in here
- 1:10:03Speaker 5: that'll use the key of David to unlock a supernatural
- 1:10:07Speaker 5: glory that'll fall in your life? I'm gonna give you
- 1:10:10Speaker 5: three minutes to give God a crazy praise.
- 1:10:16Speaker 7: Come on here.
- 1:10:18Speaker 5: Where my musicians at?
- 1:10:55Speaker 8: Conflicts contradictions and Christology if you know who.
- 1:11:03Speaker 9: Christ is give him a praise according to his excellent
- 1:11:10Speaker 9: greatness let everything that happens praise be the Lord.
- 1:11:19Speaker 5: Pray them in the sanctuary, in the parliament.
- 1:12:19Speaker 6: .
- 1:12:23Speaker 5: .
- 1:12:25Speaker 6: Give him
- 1:12:29Speaker 6: the praise.
- 1:12:30Speaker 5: When praises go up, blessings come down.
- 1:13:00Speaker 7: I feel the ruffling.
- 1:13:03Speaker 5: I feel the dribbling. I feel the sound of victory.
- 1:13:12Speaker 7: Oh, oh, oh, baby. I dare you to pray. I
- 1:13:20Speaker 7: dare you to pray. Pray. Pray. Pray.
- 1:13:27Speaker 10: I dare you.
- 1:13:29Speaker 7: Pray. Let go. Pray.
- 1:13:33Speaker 9: Let go.
- 1:13:35Speaker 5: Pray. Pray.
- 1:13:45Speaker 10: Somebody, somebody, somebody, you oughta pray to, pray to, pray to.
- 1:13:52Speaker 10: He's been good, he's been good, he made a way.
- 1:13:56Speaker 10: You oughta, you oughta, somebody, pray to, pray to.
- 1:14:01Speaker 5: Pray to.
- 1:14:17Speaker 4: Give him a break!
- 1:14:24Speaker 8: I said give him a break!
- 1:14:37Speaker 7: Yeah! Yeah!
- 1:14:42Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 1:14:43Speaker 5: Thank you. Somebody better hold my mule. Thank you.
- 1:15:39Speaker 11: Somebody shout mercy. Mercy. Somebody say.
- 1:15:53Speaker 5: Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I don't know. My God. I
- 1:16:20Speaker 5: don't know if God spoke to you tonight or not.
- 1:16:24Speaker 5: But if he did, give him the best praise you
- 1:16:26Speaker 5: got right now. The fire that burned on the altar
- 1:17:07Speaker 5: of incense was taken from the brazen altar and any
- 1:17:12Speaker 5: place else was strange fire. If you brought strange fire
- 1:17:18Speaker 5: before God, they would have to drag you out of
- 1:17:22Speaker 5: the holies of holies. But something that's been burned on
- 1:17:28Speaker 5: their altar, you don't have to beg it to praise.
- 1:17:37Speaker 5: It will praise our God forever. How many folks have
- 1:17:40Speaker 5: made up in your mind you're going to praise our
- 1:17:42Speaker 5: God forever? Now, I don't know what's going on with you,
- 1:17:54Speaker 5: but the Lord has drawn you here. And this is
- 1:17:57Speaker 5: the first night of many days that we're going to
- 1:18:02Speaker 5: spend together talking about many things, having great experiences. To
- 1:18:09Speaker 5: those of you who have come to the conference, I
- 1:18:12Speaker 5: want you to come in early tomorrow. Don't let the
- 1:18:20Speaker 5: traffic get in your way because we got a lot
- 1:18:23Speaker 5: of ground to cover and I got a lot of
- 1:18:24Speaker 5: things to show you and I got a lot of
- 1:18:26Speaker 5: things to share. And some of the things are things
- 1:18:29Speaker 5: you have not seen because you know us from TV.
- 1:18:34Speaker 5: And when people know you from TV, that's all they
- 1:18:36Speaker 5: think you are is what they see you do on TV.
- 1:18:40Speaker 5: And they don't know that the thing you see on
- 1:18:42Speaker 5: TV is the easiest part of what we are called
- 1:18:45Speaker 5: to do. I found out that the Lord and I,
- 1:18:51Speaker 5: after a long debate, I thought that my church was
- 1:18:56Speaker 5: the 5,000 I was supposed to feed. And the Lord
- 1:19:00Speaker 5: finally showed me that the church was only the 12.
- 1:19:08Speaker 5: That when you stop seeing your or your crowd or
- 1:19:12Speaker 5: your audience as a destination and start to see them
- 1:19:18Speaker 5: as transportation to the next dimension, the church cannot be stopped.
- 1:19:26Speaker 5: It can be delayed. It can be hindered. But it
- 1:19:30Speaker 5: cannot be stopped. If you understand you have 12 baskets
- 1:19:35Speaker 5: full left, you have overflow and abundance left. It cannot
- 1:19:40Speaker 5: be stopped by the storm. It cannot be stopped by
- 1:19:43Speaker 5: the dark. It cannot be stopped at night.
- 1:19:48Speaker 4: Okay. Okay.
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: Okay, let's act like we got a little bit of sense.
- 1:19:57Speaker 4: Before I turn this.
- 1:19:58Speaker 3: David key on and think about the goodness of Jesus
- 1:20:03Speaker 3: and all he has done for me.
- 1:20:11Speaker 4: Let me say this. Let me say this. Can we
- 1:20:15Speaker 4: put our hands together.
- 1:20:16Speaker 5: For the greatest orator.
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: In the world, our leader, our bishop, Bishop Timmy Jakes.
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: I say this over the last fleeting moment. He just
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: gave me the head nod that I get this privilege
- 1:20:39Speaker 3: of what I'm getting ready to do that no one
- 1:20:40Speaker 3: has done yet because it has not been released yet.
- 1:20:43Speaker 4: He told me that I could do it.
- 1:20:45Speaker 3: There is a song that may be a little antiquated
- 1:20:48Speaker 3: for some of you new age Christians, but it says
- 1:20:50Speaker 3: that my soul has been.
- 1:20:52Speaker 4: Anchored in the Lord.
- 1:20:54Speaker 3: Pastor Keon, there was something about that song when I
- 1:20:57Speaker 3: heard my grandma say my soul has been anchored.
- 1:21:00Speaker 4: Though the storms may blow, my soul has been anchored
- 1:21:03Speaker 4: in the Lord.
- 1:21:05Speaker 3: And something about that word anchored is something about that
- 1:21:07Speaker 3: word anchored that has resonated in the spirit of our
- 1:21:11Speaker 3: leader that today you get the first peek at something
- 1:21:17Speaker 3: that has not been released to the world that he
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: just gave me the head nod to that you can
- 1:21:22Speaker 3: pre-order the book that has not been released. Put your
