1.1 Faith Is The Substance
Faith is the substance is taken from Hebrews 1:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." The Greek word for "substance" is "hupostasis" which mean strengthen from below or under. Hence the English word is a compound word "sub" meaning "under" and "stance" meaning "standing." This means foundation for a building. The word of God is our sure foundation and is the substance of our Faith. Follow this introduction to faith today and the teachings on faith that will follow and add to your faith the strength only the Word of God can provide.
