- 1:27Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 1:27Speaker 5: That's a good one.
- 1:28Speaker 4: Every minute of every day.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Really rolls off the tongue.
- 1:31Speaker 4: That's a good name.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Also for Greg, it's National Coffee Day. addicted uh national
- 1:36Speaker 3: starbucks day oh today is a national silent movie.
- 1:41Speaker 10: Day yeah you went to film school menace are there
- 1:45Speaker 10: any silent movies that are good out there.
- 1:46Speaker 7: Uh la jante oh it's basically uh kind of the
- 1:50Speaker 7: foundation of 12 monkeys yeah and what is what is
- 1:55Speaker 7: 12 monkeys It's a Brad Pitt movie, which I have
- 2:02Speaker 7: not seen, so I can't really tell you what it's about.
- 2:04Speaker 7: But La Jante, I've definitely seen many times.
- 2:07Speaker 9: Okay.
- 2:08Speaker 3: La Jante is just like... What happens? The way he
- 2:12Speaker 3: said it, it's the base of 12, which is some
- 2:14Speaker 3: kind of fundamental film thing.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Right.
- 2:15Speaker 3: I didn't realize that was a movie.
- 2:18Speaker 7: For all the people that are really into 12 Monkeys.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:21Speaker 10: Which is about a time traveler that was maybe not
- 2:24Speaker 10: a time traveler.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Yeah. Today is National Police Remembrance Day. It's National Biscotti Day. Yuck.
- 2:32Speaker 7: Biscotti. Can't live without it.
- 2:33Speaker 3: It is overrated for sure.
- 2:35Speaker 4: Hard as a rock.
- 2:36Speaker 7: Dry.
- 2:37Speaker 5: Boring.
- 2:37Speaker 3: And you know what today is? Today is Confucius Day.
- 2:41Speaker 8: Oh.
- 2:41Speaker 3: What is he saying? Those used to be such great jokes.
- 2:43Speaker 3: I was going to say, you know what? I'm glad
- 2:45Speaker 3: you mentioned it, Seabass.
- 2:46Speaker 10: Kids these days don't even know the fun, like fun
- 2:49Speaker 10: Chinese wisdom jokes that we're told.
- 2:52Speaker 3: Yeah, because this was a thing when I was a kid.
- 2:54Speaker 3: I pulled some of them up online to remind everybody because-
- 2:58Speaker 3: we used to exchange these all the time.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Yeah. Right.
- 3:00Speaker 3: So you would say Confucius say wife who put husband
- 3:04Speaker 3: in dog house soon find him in cat house. I
- 3:08Speaker 3: remember that. I get it.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Uh, Confucius say man who fight with wife all day,
- 3:16Speaker 3: get no peace at night. Peace. Peace getting.
- 3:20Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Uh, how about this one? Man who scratch ass should
- 3:26Speaker 3: not bite fingernails.
- 3:29Speaker 2: See?
- 3:29Speaker 3: Good advice.
- 3:32Speaker 10: See, it's not really good, or it's obvious advice, but
- 3:34Speaker 10: it's all wisdom-y.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Man who behaves like an ass will be the butt
- 3:39Speaker 3: of those who crack jokes. Getting. It's a good one. Yeah.
- 3:43Speaker 3: And you get to do a fun accent.
- 3:44Speaker 4: Let's see.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Confucius say, man who come into money... Have sticky financial situations. Okay,
- 3:53Speaker 3: that's a good one. See? I like that one.
- 3:56Speaker 1: That's funny.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Man who work all day for a pool maintenance company
- 4:00Speaker 3: will feel drained. Ah, drain. Banker who sits in freezer
- 4:06Speaker 3: will have frozen assets. Confucius said. Yeah, he sure does.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Man who tell one too many light bulb jokes will
- 4:15Speaker 3: soon burn out.
- 4:17Speaker 5: Yes.
- 4:19Speaker 3: I mean, there's a billion of them.
- 4:20Speaker 10: Oh, yeah.
- 4:22Speaker 4: Oh, here we go, Greg.
- 4:23Speaker 3: What?
- 4:24Speaker 10: Girl who sits on judge's lap gets honorable discharge.
- 4:27Speaker 5: Gang!
- 4:29Speaker 3: Confucius say newscaster who reports hurricanes knows how to talk
- 4:34Speaker 3: up a storm. Gadding! He's just getting better and better. Yeah,
- 4:38Speaker 3: so much gadding. Today is Confucius Day. It was so
- 4:42Speaker 3: much more popular back then.
- 4:44Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah.
- 4:45Speaker 3: It was like that, and then it went into the.
- 4:47Speaker 4: Polish jokes.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Well, no, like, what's his name? Chuck Norris. Oh, yeah.
- 4:52Speaker 3: Chuck Norris' tears could cure cancer. Too bad he never cried.
- 4:56Speaker 11: Do kids still read Fortune Cookies and say, in bed,
- 5:00Speaker 11: at the end?
- 5:00Speaker 3: Oh, I don't know. That was a big one. Yeah,
- 5:02Speaker 3: I don't know. I don't really hear it. I mean,
- 5:04Speaker 3: ask your kid. I will. I know he doesn't. He
- 5:06Speaker 3: doesn't get it.
- 5:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:07Speaker 3: When I went to Panda Express recently, man, like. I
- 5:11Speaker 3: don't even understand the fortune.
- 5:12Speaker 4: Oh, really?
- 5:12Speaker 3: I kind of feel like they're getting lazy. They phoned
- 5:15Speaker 3: it in a little bit. Yeah, they really phoned it in,
- 5:16Speaker 3: those fortunes.
- 5:18Speaker 7: Time for the birthdays.
- 5:20Speaker 5: All right, speaking of jokes, you know whose birthday it
- 5:24Speaker 5: is today?
- 5:25Speaker 1: Who?
- 5:25Speaker 7: Andrew Dice Clay.
- 5:27Speaker 5: What?
- 5:37Speaker 3: Guess how old, Greg, Andrew Dice.
- 5:39Speaker 7: Clay is today.
- 5:40Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 5:42Speaker 5: 69?
- 5:42Speaker 3: He is 69. I see you got Kevin Durant. the
- 5:50Speaker 3: NBA superstar, 38 years old. Halsey, the pop singer, 32.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Zachary Levi is 46. Former Today Show host Brian Gumbel
- 6:02Speaker 3: is 78. Les Claypool from Primus is 63. And Chrissy Metz,
- 6:07Speaker 3: she was the larger sister. Very large lady. And this
- 6:12Speaker 3: is us.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:13Speaker 3: She's 46 years old today. And then your porno birthday
- 6:16Speaker 3: today is Mercedes Carrera.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Ooh, Nancy.
- 6:20Speaker 3: And today's birthday girl, she's been ridden more than a
- 6:22Speaker 3: Ferris wheel at the county fair. 582 fine films, including
- 6:27Speaker 3: gorgeous Mercedes enjoys riding his pathetic face. Bang, bang.
- 6:36Speaker 2: Okay.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Also, fat booty Latina pillow humper. Nice.
- 6:39Speaker 12: All right.
- 6:40Speaker 3: She was in Mercedes surrenders her big Latina ass to
- 6:43Speaker 3: the perv gods. She was in a very long title.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Your ex-wife cuckolds you with the lawyer who wrote your will. Oh,
- 6:51Speaker 3: that's a tough one. And then who can forget her
- 6:53Speaker 3: unforgettable role in Suck My Toes If You Want That Loan? Look,
- 6:58Speaker 3: if you want the loan, you'll do it.
- 6:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:00Speaker 4: That's easy enough.
- 7:01Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:01Speaker 3: That's Mercedes Carrera, who is 43 years old today. And
- 7:05Speaker 3: it's your porno birthday and your celebrity birthdays here on
- 7:08Speaker 3: The Woody Show. The Woody Show. I like that very much.
- 7:14Speaker 3: And we're going to go right to Gina Grad to
- 7:17Speaker 3: get us started here. She's got the trending news headlines.
- 7:20Speaker 11: Well, Dennis Haskins, a.k.a.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Mr.
- 7:22Speaker 11: Belding from Saved by the Bell, he's died at 75
- 7:25Speaker 11: years old. No cause of death yet, but his caretaker
- 7:28Speaker 11: says he'd been quietly battling Parkinson's for eight years. And
- 7:32Speaker 11: of course, most of us know he was Bayside High's
- 7:35Speaker 11: principal for all four seasons, plus seven more on the
- 7:37Speaker 11: new class. And his famous line, hey, hey, hey, what's
- 7:41Speaker 11: going on here? It's burned into most of our brains.
- 7:44Speaker 11: He will be missed.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Didn't you say people would spot him at the strip
- 7:47Speaker 3: club a lot? Like he was kind of a regular?
- 7:49Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 7:50Speaker 3: I personally saw him at the strip club. I saw
- 7:53Speaker 3: him at the karaoke bar. In the VIP section, yeah.
- 7:56Speaker 3: He was turning up, man.
- 7:57Speaker 7: Should be VIP.
- 7:59Speaker 10: Good for him.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Good for him is right. Greg, I'm starting to think that...
- 8:03Speaker 3: We could probably expect to live somewhere between 70 and 80.
- 8:06Speaker 4: Really? Is that your thought?
- 8:08Speaker 3: What is the average life expectancy? I think for men, 74-ish.
- 8:12Speaker 3: That's pretty good. Everybody seems to be falling within that average,
- 8:16Speaker 3: I guess. It seems like a lot of the deaths,
- 8:18Speaker 3: the celebrity deaths, have all been in that 70s range, right?
- 8:22Speaker 7: Yeah, but they're missing the breakthrough window in health technology.
- 8:27Speaker 3: Yeah, getting their second wind. The next five years. I'm
- 8:29Speaker 3: waiting for those flying cars. Yeah.
- 8:30Speaker 7: Kind of crazy.
- 8:31Speaker 4: Yeah, where are the flying cars that we hear about
- 8:33Speaker 4: or the drone deliveries that I've yet to see?
- 8:36Speaker 7: Apparently, this new Roadster from Tesla hovers.
- 8:40Speaker 3: I don't think we're going to benefit from that, Greg.
- 8:42Speaker 3: I think we're just going to miss it. That's going
- 8:44Speaker 3: to be our timing.
- 8:45Speaker 4: The health thing?
- 8:45Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. Everybody's going to start living to 120 years
- 8:48Speaker 3: old because of the stuff that Menace is talking about.
- 8:51Speaker 3: But we're just going to miss it. Greg will die.
- 8:55Speaker 3: The obituary will be listed. I was going to say
- 8:58Speaker 3: in the newspaper, but that won't be a thing. His
- 9:01Speaker 3: obituary will be out there. And then the next day's
- 9:03Speaker 3: news will be like, major breakthrough. Just approved.
- 9:08Speaker 4: I'll be on my deathbed and Woody will whisper.
- 9:10Speaker 3: They just invented the big penis pill. They're announcing it tomorrow.
- 9:14Speaker 7: Tomorrow.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Hold on, buddy. We've talked about it before, though, too.
- 9:19Speaker 3: You will fight. Man, who wants to live to 120
- 9:22Speaker 3: years old? Greg.
- 9:24Speaker 4: I do.
- 9:24Speaker 3: You say you do, but I don't think that you do.
- 9:27Speaker 6: Maybe.
- 9:27Speaker 3: I mean, it depends on the health situation. I think
- 9:29Speaker 3: you like the idea of it. But I think what
- 9:32Speaker 3: gets in the way is like, you know, the pesky public,
- 9:35Speaker 3: the pesky world, all those other things. Because think about,
- 9:39Speaker 3: you know, you hear about like, you know, even, you know,
- 9:43Speaker 3: old people of today, all their friends. Yeah, they don't
- 9:46Speaker 3: live with their kids a lot of times.
- 9:48Speaker 4: That's true.
- 9:49Speaker 3: The people who live that long, they literally have nobody left.
- 9:52Speaker 7: He's perfectly happy being at his house all day. He'll
- 9:55Speaker 7: be fine.
- 9:56Speaker 4: That's 100% true. But yeah, the people that I know
- 9:59Speaker 4: that live to be in their mid to late 90s,
- 10:01Speaker 4: every year I would see them and, how you doing? Well...
- 10:05Speaker 4: I guess I'm going to live this year, so I
- 10:06Speaker 4: got to buy new socks.
- 10:08Speaker 3: And they're let down. I think because you think that
- 10:12Speaker 3: you're going to feel the way that you do right now. Yeah, exactly.
- 10:14Speaker 4: No, definitely not.
- 10:15Speaker 3: All those things change. I know a lot of people,
- 10:17Speaker 3: even as they start just aging, and they start feeling
- 10:20Speaker 3: the effects of aging, they go, man, getting old is
- 10:23Speaker 3: not for pussies. Yeah, true. Because it's just all these
- 10:25Speaker 3: things that you're dealing with. And so if you are
- 10:28Speaker 3: perfectly healthy and of sound mind, physically you can, you know,
- 10:32Speaker 3: get around and be independent, then sure, I could see
- 10:35Speaker 3: where that might be a good idea. But what's the chances?
- 10:38Speaker 11: Well, and also, like you said, sound mind, because we're
- 10:40Speaker 11: talking about the body and it kind of decays and
- 10:42Speaker 11: it's very sad.
- 10:43Speaker 3: But, like, if you look.
- 10:44Speaker 10: Around a room and you don't know who any of
- 10:45Speaker 10: us are, do you want to hang out that way?
- 10:48Speaker 3: Sometimes I wish I could forget.
- 10:49Speaker 7: But they were just curing, like, people's eyesight with, like,
- 10:54Speaker 7: seaweed just the other day. Yeah, they're, like, doing some
- 10:57Speaker 7: crazy stuff because... Again, with AI, they're able to process
- 11:01Speaker 7: all this research and information so fast now.
- 11:03Speaker 3: I mean, you know, I love medical research. That's the
- 11:07Speaker 3: stuff that impresses me more than anything. 100%. Pretty cool.
- 11:11Speaker 4: So if somebody dies at 75, you think, good life, right?
- 11:15Speaker 3: It's not too young. It still seems, by today's standards,
- 11:19Speaker 3: it still seems young. Younger than it should be. I
- 11:22Speaker 3: would think like mid-80s, I'd go, all.
- 11:24Speaker 4: Right, good life.
- 11:25Speaker 10: Yeah, I totally agree on that one.
- 11:27Speaker 3: 75 still seems early.
- 11:28Speaker 4: I mean, we base everything on childhood and our perception
- 11:31Speaker 4: from childhood. And now if, you know, I have a
- 11:33Speaker 4: friend who's 60 and I think, oh my God, I
- 11:35Speaker 4: remember when my dad turned 40 and we thought, I
- 11:38Speaker 4: guess he's going to die tomorrow.
- 11:39Speaker 7: Well, you see on social media all the time, like, oh,
- 11:42Speaker 7: this was, you know, 40 when you were a kid.
- 11:45Speaker 3: This is 40 now. Well, I mean, look at how
- 11:47Speaker 3: you see those pictures of, you know, kids who were
- 11:51Speaker 3: in high school in the 80s. Like what they're.
- 11:53Speaker 4: They looked 40.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Yeah. They look like they should be regional managers. Exactly.
- 11:57Speaker 11: And those side by side pictures, like 50 was Bea
- 12:01Speaker 11: Arthur from Golden Girls and now 50 is Jennifer Aniston.
- 12:03Speaker 3: Right.
- 12:04Speaker 7: What?
- 12:04Speaker 3: They're the same age in this picture.
- 12:06Speaker 7: Exactly.
- 12:07Speaker 11: Well, last night on Monday Night Football, the Bears beat
- 12:09Speaker 11: the undefeated Eagles 27-7 with their 38-year-old third-string quarterback.
- 12:16Speaker 3: Yeah, Caleb Williams out, their backup quarterback's out, so they
- 12:18Speaker 3: went to their third-string guy.
- 12:20Speaker 11: Case Keenum threw for two touchdowns and ran for another.
- 12:23Speaker 11: The Eagles only had 62 total yards in the second half.
- 12:26Speaker 11: Both teams are 2-1.
- 12:28Speaker 3: Bears QB Caleb Williams, 2-1. They're two and one. Two
- 12:31Speaker 3: and one, excuse me. He's day to day. Sports guys. Yeah,
- 12:35Speaker 3: sports guys.
- 12:36Speaker 11: I'm a sports guy.
- 12:38Speaker 10: Day to day with his bum hamstring.
- 12:40Speaker 7: But that's crazy, though. Your third string, you're like, I'm
- 12:42Speaker 7: never going to play.
- 12:43Speaker 3: And now he's a star. That's crazy. I mean, I
- 12:45Speaker 3: don't know how much more Caleb Bloom's going to be
- 12:47Speaker 3: out with that bruised vagina as well. He's got the hamstring.
- 12:50Speaker 3: He's got a little sand in it.
- 12:51Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 12:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:51Speaker 11: Well, Lindsay Clancy is back in court today for the
- 12:54Speaker 11: first time since her murder trial ended in a mistrial.
- 12:56Speaker 11: So quick refresher on that. She admitted to killing her
- 12:58Speaker 11: three kids ages five, three and eight months. But her
- 13:01Speaker 11: defense argued that she had postpartum psychosis. Eleven jurors were
- 13:06Speaker 11: ready to find her not guilty by reason of insanity.
- 13:08Speaker 11: But one holdout blocked it and the judge declared a mistrial.
- 13:12Speaker 11: So today's hearing is a status conference. Now, prosecutors still
- 13:16Speaker 11: haven't said if they're going to retry her and her
- 13:19Speaker 11: lawyers are pushing for that, you know, wanting to dismiss
- 13:21Speaker 11: the whole thing for double jeopardy. But remember, this isn't
- 13:25Speaker 11: automatically considered double jeopardy because her first trial ended in
- 13:28Speaker 11: a mistrial, not a verdict.
- 13:29Speaker 4: Right.
- 13:29Speaker 3: So in her lawyers like going after that.
- 13:32Speaker 10: Lone juror yeah wants all the.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Dirt which should not be which by the way should
- 13:37Speaker 3: not be allowed no no short of you took a
- 13:40Speaker 3: bribe to you know right whatever the holdout yeah like
- 13:44Speaker 3: that you were compromised you know by outside but if
- 13:48Speaker 3: whatever you've decided you're the juror that's what you're there
- 13:51Speaker 3: for right it's a jury of your peers.
- 13:52Speaker 10: Yeah yeah yeah if the mob was leaning on you
- 13:55Speaker 10: let us know did you see.
- 13:56Speaker 3: The video of the guy that had the pictures like
- 13:58Speaker 3: who's done more damage to women And it was a
- 14:01Speaker 3: picture of Sidney Sweeney with her sports advertisement thing that
- 14:06Speaker 3: she got a bunch of heat for. And the other
- 14:08Speaker 3: one is Lindsay Clancy.
- 14:10Speaker 11: Oh, I'm sure Sidney Sweeney's thrilled to be in that meme.
- 14:12Speaker 7: Sidney Sweeney ran away with it.
- 14:14Speaker 3: Women are like, she's done more damage. That's unfortunate. Y'all
- 14:18Speaker 3: are high. Yeah, I agree.
- 14:20Speaker 11: Well, Tennessee is about, speaking of which, Tennessee is about
- 14:22Speaker 11: to do something it hasn't done in more than 200 years, and.
- 14:25Speaker 3: That is execute a woman. You know, equality. Yeah, right.
- 14:29Speaker 11: Krista Pike is 50 years old. She's the only woman
- 14:32Speaker 11: on Tennessee's death row. She's scheduled for lethal injection tomorrow
- 14:36Speaker 11: morning now that she's been denied clemency. So she was
- 14:38Speaker 11: 18 in 1995 when she tortured and murdered a 19-year-old
- 14:43Speaker 11: woman who was a fellow Job Corps student. Apparently it
- 14:45Speaker 11: all happened in a big jealous rage situation over a boyfriend.
- 14:49Speaker 11: Her lawyers and more than 100 women's advocacy groups– oh,
- 14:52Speaker 11: you're going to love this– Beg the governor to spare her.
- 14:54Speaker 11: They argued that she had an abusive childhood and that
- 14:56Speaker 11: being strapped down for lethal injection would make her relive it.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Well, I mean, the good news is it won't last long.
- 15:01Speaker 4: It'll be a couple minutes.
- 15:03Speaker 3: Yeah, you're only going to have to deal with those flashbacks.
- 15:04Speaker 7: 30 seconds tops.
- 15:05Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 15:06Speaker 7: I did do a deep dive into this, and she
- 15:09Speaker 7: also carved a pentagram into the victim.
- 15:13Speaker 3: Oh, that's cool. Yeah. Yeah, let's keep her around.
- 15:16Speaker 11: Yeah, the state's not buying the whole strapping her down,
- 15:18Speaker 11: reliving it thing, says the justice for the victim's family
- 15:21Speaker 11: comes first.
- 15:21Speaker 3: So, okay. I don't know how many. What did you say?
- 15:24Speaker 3: She's the first woman on death row? In over 200
- 15:27Speaker 3: years in Tennessee. So there's no other women on death row?
- 15:30Speaker 1: No, no.
- 15:30Speaker 7: That has been executed.
- 15:31Speaker 11: That's going to be executed.
- 15:32Speaker 3: But there are a number of women on death row?
- 15:34Speaker 3: In Tennessee. I'm saying just in general. Oh, yeah.
- 15:37Speaker 11: There are other women on death row in other states.
- 15:39Speaker 3: I didn't know if it was like one of those, oh, well,
- 15:41Speaker 3: we don't put women on death row.
- 15:42Speaker 1: No.
- 15:44Speaker 3: Women get special consideration.
- 15:46Speaker 11: Well, they don't commit a portion of the crimes that
- 15:48Speaker 11: men commit, but they're on death row.
- 15:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 15:50Speaker 3: It's like, you know, if you're going into a custody situation,
- 15:54Speaker 3: a lot of the times, no matter how awful the
- 15:56Speaker 3: mom is, she still ends up with the kids. Yeah. Like,
- 15:58Speaker 3: I don't know if they're because there's like this kind
- 15:59Speaker 3: of bias. There's always a bias towards, you know, moms.
- 16:03Speaker 3: I think you're right. I didn't know if it was
- 16:05Speaker 3: like in crimes.
- 16:06Speaker 1: No.
- 16:07Speaker 3: I don't know how that works.
- 16:08Speaker 11: I think you're right. But I think it's I think
- 16:09Speaker 11: these are two very different situations. And check this out.
- 16:13Speaker 3: After 30- Ride the lightning, bitch.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 16:16Speaker 7: For sure.
- 16:17Speaker 3: By Easy Daisy.
- 16:18Speaker 7: Also kept a piece of the victim.
- 16:21Speaker 4: Oh, my God.
- 16:21Speaker 3: Like with her, too. So it was pretty brutal.
- 16:23Speaker 4: She's cool.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:24Speaker 4: Oh, I don't want to be strapped down. I know.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Strap her down with, like, pink satin ribbons or something.
- 16:28Speaker 3: And show her pictures from her childhood as you do it.
- 16:31Speaker 4: Yeah, right.
- 16:32Speaker 3: And laugh.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:32Speaker 3: And a murder. How do you think her victim felt?
- 16:34Speaker 10: Yeah, exactly.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Everybody's always worried about, like, oh, well, the person who's
- 16:38Speaker 3: being put to death. Well, again, what about the person
- 16:41Speaker 3: that they murdered in order to get there?
- 16:43Speaker 11: I think about that all the time.
- 16:44Speaker 7: You know what I mean?
- 16:45Speaker 11: There's like a brutal like sexual assault or murder. They go, well,
- 16:48Speaker 11: one life has already been ruined. Why ruin two? I'm like,
- 16:51Speaker 11: are you high?
- 16:52Speaker 1: What?
- 16:53Speaker 3: What does that mean?
- 16:53Speaker 4: I was watching this show about teen murderers and one
- 16:57Speaker 4: was sentenced to life without parole, which the Supreme Court
- 17:00Speaker 4: has since deemed unconstitutional. But the mother of one of
- 17:03Speaker 4: the victims made a great point. She said, my daughter
- 17:06Speaker 4: got a life sentence, meaning she's never coming back. So
- 17:09Speaker 4: he should get a life sentence.
- 17:10Speaker 10: She doesn't get a phone call through plexiglass.
- 17:13Speaker 3: You can't sentence a teenager to life without parole?
- 17:16Speaker 4: Apparently, you could before. Now, it's something very vague. You
- 17:21Speaker 4: can if they're considered irredeemable, which is way too vague
- 17:26Speaker 4: and subjective.
- 17:26Speaker 3: There was just one of the school shooters was just given...
- 17:32Speaker 3: I think life.
- 17:33Speaker 4: Life without parole.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Without parole.
- 17:35Speaker 4: Then he'd be considered irredeemable.
- 17:37Speaker 3: Right.
- 17:38Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 17:38Speaker 3: And the judge like laid into him.
- 17:40Speaker 4: Yeah. Good.
- 17:41Speaker 3: And this was somewhat recent. I just saw.
- 17:43Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Again, I don't know if it was a video from
- 17:45Speaker 3: a while ago, but I just saw the video. And
- 17:49Speaker 3: he's like 16. Imagine that.
- 17:51Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:51Speaker 3: 16. And you know, like, dude, you're going to prison
- 17:54Speaker 3: for the rest of your life.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:56Speaker 4: I'd rather get the death penalty.
- 17:58Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, that is a death sentence.
- 17:59Speaker 4: It's a complete waste of life.
- 18:01Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 18:01Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:02Speaker 11: Well, after 13 tries, SpaceX just hit a huge milestone.
- 18:06Speaker 11: The Starship rocket successfully reached orbit during its latest test flight.
- 18:10Speaker 11: So the goal was to keep it up for like
- 18:12Speaker 11: 10 hours and have it circle Earth six times.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Got to see the doctor.
- 18:15Speaker 4: Yeah, after four hours.
- 18:16Speaker 11: But an engine problem forced the mission to end a
- 18:19Speaker 11: little bit early. So even so, Starship managed to release
- 18:22Speaker 11: 26 Starlight satellites before splashing down in the Pacific about
- 18:26Speaker 11: seven three hours after the launch but this is considered
- 18:28Speaker 11: a huge step toward you know cargo to the moon
- 18:32Speaker 11: cargo to mars it's a big deal did you.
- 18:34Speaker 3: See uh menace i know you follow a lot of
- 18:36Speaker 3: the uh tesla elon stuff so they're building this massive
- 18:43Speaker 3: building in texas yeah it's going to be the biggest
- 18:46Speaker 3: building in the world have you heard about this yeah
- 18:49Speaker 3: i saw like some construction videos but i didn't Deep in...
- 18:52Speaker 3: I didn't go deep into it. Okay, it's called Terafab.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Are you familiar with that? It's a whole nother... So
- 18:58Speaker 3: they started building this... They haven't started yet. The permits
- 19:02Speaker 3: say they're going to start construction December of this year.
- 19:04Speaker 4: It's going to be the biggest building in the world?
- 19:06Speaker 3: Biggest building in the world. Three times the size of
- 19:09Speaker 3: Central Park in New York City.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Good God.
- 19:12Speaker 3: The size of 1,700 football fields. My God. And they're
- 19:17Speaker 3: going to build chips there. So Elon told Samsung and
- 19:21Speaker 3: TSC and Micron that he would buy every chip they
- 19:24Speaker 3: could make and but they couldn't produce that much. So
- 19:28Speaker 3: he's like, all right. And so he's going to make
- 19:30Speaker 3: my own building. Yeah. Wow. So all the chip makers
- 19:34Speaker 3: on Earth that currently exist, all the chip makers on
- 19:38Speaker 3: Earth can only provide 2% of what Tesla, SpaceX, Grok,
- 19:43Speaker 3: and Optimus will need, according to Elon. So that's why
- 19:47Speaker 3: he's building this. And here's the goal. The goal is
- 19:52Speaker 3: to create 200 billion chips a year for data centers
- 19:59Speaker 3: in orbit. So it would make 50 times the AI
- 20:03Speaker 3: computing power that the world makes today they would send
- 20:07Speaker 3: it to orbit and it would power AI for the
- 20:10Speaker 3: entire planet. Wow. Which it wouldn't be in your backyard.
- 20:13Speaker 3: The data centers wouldn't be in your backyard. They'd be
- 20:15Speaker 3: in space.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Hovering.
- 20:16Speaker 3: All this stuff sounds so much like Terminator, Skynet. Sensodyne.
- 20:25Speaker 3: Not Sensodyne.
- 20:26Speaker 4: That's the toothpaste.
- 20:27Speaker 7: Cyberdyne.
- 20:29Speaker 3: I think it was Cyberdyne Technologies in Terminator. Sensodyne.
- 20:34Speaker 7: The toothpaste.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Well, they were just at the iHeartRadio Music Festival. They
- 20:37Speaker 3: had a bunch of displays set up. They got Sensodyne
- 20:39Speaker 3: on the brain. That's crazy. 200 billion chips a year.
- 20:44Speaker 4: Yeah, you're right.
- 20:45Speaker 3: Just so we can build more robots. I was watching
- 20:48Speaker 3: my buddy Andy Frisella posted a video about These robots,
- 20:53Speaker 3: they just built a robot that has every single human bone.
- 20:58Speaker 3: So they recreated the human skeleton in robot form so
- 21:02Speaker 3: that it moves completely fluidly and does all the things
- 21:05Speaker 3: that a human can do. Trigger finger, thumb, you know,
- 21:10Speaker 3: like the way it walks, the way it moves. And
- 21:13Speaker 3: there's other videos where these robots are fighting and and
- 21:19Speaker 3: flipping up from laying down flat on its back to
- 21:22Speaker 3: a standing position. We are so cooked, guys. I was
- 21:28Speaker 3: talking to Andy about it, and he said, I think
- 21:30Speaker 3: best case scenario, we're enslaved.
- 21:33Speaker 5: Best case!
- 21:34Speaker 3: Best case scenario is that we're enslaved. Worst case scenario
- 21:38Speaker 3: is that we're exterminated.
- 21:40Speaker 7: Did you watch the Robot Olympics that they had in China?
- 21:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:45Speaker 7: How fast they are. It's insane.
- 21:48Speaker 3: So, Greg, we may have the technology to live to 100,
- 21:50Speaker 3: but these things are going to kill us way before that.
- 21:53Speaker 11: I would say worst case scenario, we're enslaved. Best case,
- 21:56Speaker 11: they just eradicate us.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Just don't want to live that way. Yeah, it's fun.
- 22:01Speaker 11: And finally, police raided the Alpha Epsilon Pie House near
- 22:04Speaker 11: the University of Wisconsin and found about 30 partially clothed
- 22:08Speaker 11: guys covered in food, condiments, and quote, other liquids.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Fun.
- 22:13Speaker 11: The fraternity's president and vice president were both arrested in
- 22:16Speaker 11: the hazing investigation. So no work yet on what the
- 22:18Speaker 11: other liquids were.
- 22:20Speaker 3: Maybe we don't want to know.
- 22:21Speaker 11: $ 30, 000 a year in tuition, and this.
- 22:23Speaker 3: Is what your kid is going to do in school.
- 22:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 22:27Speaker 7: Is there anything else going on?
- 22:28Speaker 3: Other liquids.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Right.
- 22:30Speaker 3: Partially clothed.
- 22:31Speaker 7: Other liquids.
- 22:31Speaker 3: Yeah. So we'll let you know as soon as we
- 22:34Speaker 3: find out.
- 22:34Speaker 4: Not quite liquidy, though.
- 22:36Speaker 10: So homoerotic. And that's what's going on.
- 22:38Speaker 3: I'm doing it for networking in the future.
- 22:40Speaker 4: I might need a job. Right.
- 22:41Speaker 7: Slather me.
- 22:41Speaker 5: Fortune 500.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Text over to 22987.
- 22:42Speaker 4: Brag like Seabass.
- 22:58Speaker 3: After six years of trying, my wife told me this
- 23:00Speaker 3: morning that she's pregnant.
- 23:03Speaker 7: Aw, babe.
- 23:04Speaker 3: Sorry, dude.
- 23:06Speaker 10: That's horrible news.
- 23:07Speaker 3: We thought it was in the clear, and then all
- 23:09Speaker 3: of a sudden.
- 23:10Speaker 4: Wanted to keep trying.
- 23:11Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like a breakaway run during a football game,
- 23:13Speaker 3: and all of a sudden, right at the two-yard line,
- 23:15Speaker 3: you get tagged. Like, damn it, I thought I was
- 23:17Speaker 3: home free. No, congratulations.
- 23:19Speaker 7: Congratulations.
- 23:20Speaker 3: That's exciting. Everybody tells you congratulations, you know? Just because
- 23:24Speaker 3: they have to. It's got to be different.
- 23:27Speaker 4: We know what Mattis is thinking.
- 23:28Speaker 3: Well, hey, man, it's super popular these days to not
- 23:35Speaker 3: have kids and just go through life and just be
- 23:38Speaker 3: a kid-dult.
- 23:40Speaker 4: Right. Yeah.
- 23:40Speaker 3: You could be enough of a child just completely on
- 23:43Speaker 3: your own. But there are still people who want to
- 23:45Speaker 3: do things the old-fashioned way and actually have a family.
- 23:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:49Speaker 7: Can't wait to be friends with you and hear you
- 23:50Speaker 7: complain about it.
- 23:51Speaker 3: No.
- 23:52Speaker 4: Non-stop.
- 23:53Speaker 3: Look, I kid. This is obviously something. Six years of trying, man.
- 23:58Speaker 3: They've been wanting this. So congratulations.
- 24:00Speaker 4: Good for them.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Congratulations.
- 24:02Speaker 4: I think it would be fun, and I've said it before,
- 24:03Speaker 4: to have a kid. But to have a baby, I think,
- 24:06Speaker 4: would be so boring. Just boring and tedious and monotonous.
- 24:11Speaker 4: You've got to get to the point where there's some
- 24:12Speaker 4: independence there.
- 24:13Speaker 10: Yes.
- 24:14Speaker 3: Yeah. Where you don't need to hover over them. You
- 24:16Speaker 3: don't have to worry about the meat and glue or
- 24:19Speaker 3: things more toxic.
- 24:20Speaker 11: And when they're old enough, they start bringing you things.
- 24:21Speaker 4: It's awesome.
- 24:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:22Speaker 4: Like five or six.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:25Speaker 3: I wanted to check in with Jeff G. How'd it
- 24:27Speaker 3: go yesterday? Everything okay?
- 24:30Speaker 12: Yeah, it was a tough day. Had to put down
- 24:31Speaker 12: my Bernice Mountain dog yesterday. It was tough, but everything
- 24:35Speaker 12: went as well as it could have. She enjoyed the
- 24:38Speaker 12: burger drive-thru, man.
- 24:40Speaker 4: She got her.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I saw a video yesterday. And you know what's
- 24:42Speaker 3: crazy is like, you know, I've seen it before. And
- 24:46Speaker 3: thank God, and the day will come. I haven't lived
- 24:49Speaker 3: it yet. But like what's crazy is when you watch
- 24:51Speaker 3: the video, she looks normal. And it's fine. And she's
- 24:55Speaker 3: like loving this burger. And, you know, everybody's around. And
- 24:59Speaker 3: it's just that that's got to be such a mind-eff.
- 25:02Speaker 4: Totally.
- 25:03Speaker 3: I guess when the dog is just kind of laying
- 25:05Speaker 3: there and already kind of, you know, half out of it.
- 25:08Speaker 3: You kind of know, yeah. Yeah, that would be, I
- 25:10Speaker 3: would think, easier. you know, but, um, yeah, I'm really sorry, man. That, that,
- 25:15Speaker 3: that blows.
- 25:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 25:16Speaker 3: You guys are, you know, you're going through it and,
- 25:20Speaker 3: you know, you're, you're, uh, I mean, he's, look, he's
- 25:22Speaker 3: here today, you know?
- 25:25Speaker 4: More than I can do.
- 25:26Speaker 3: So we appreciate it. And then he brought pastries.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:28Speaker 3: I know. Well, you guys were so nice. You guys
- 25:30Speaker 3: all sent text messages on the check-in. Because we love you. Yeah, man.
- 25:34Speaker 12: So I just wanted to thank you for doing that
- 25:36Speaker 12: because it meant a lot. Because you try to distract
- 25:39Speaker 12: yourself during situations like that. So yeah, it was really
- 25:42Speaker 12: cool to get messages and stuff. We took her to
- 25:43Speaker 12: the ride because she likes the word ride.
- 25:44Speaker 3: Man, she was so hyped to get in the car
- 25:46Speaker 3: and then eat that burger.
- 25:48Speaker 11: Did you have to lift her in the car?
- 25:50Speaker 4: Yes. Yeah, she's heavy.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Yeah. She's heavy.
- 25:53Speaker 12: Yeah, no, but everything went as well as it could.
- 25:55Speaker 12: I'm happy she's in a better place. Wherever her legs
- 25:58Speaker 12: will be working and her body will be right and
- 26:00Speaker 12: everything will be good for her now.
- 26:02Speaker 3: And again, outlived her life expectancy. Yeah, a lot. For
- 26:05Speaker 3: a perfectly healthy Burmese mountain dog. That's the dream. You said, what,
- 26:09Speaker 3: six to eight years?
- 26:10Speaker 4: Six to eight years.
- 26:10Speaker 3: She was 10 plus. 10 plus.
- 26:12Speaker 2: Yeah, no.
- 26:13Speaker 12: Yeah, it's weird because, you know, you realize, hey, man,
- 26:15Speaker 12: she's not coming back every once in a while, you know,
- 26:17Speaker 12: but that's the hard part. But, you know, these days
- 26:20Speaker 12: will pass too.
- 26:20Speaker 3: How are the other dogs? Because they know, right?
- 26:23Speaker 12: Yeah, I have two other dogs. I feel like my
- 26:25Speaker 12: older one kind of knows. The younger one is just
- 26:28Speaker 12: a little a-hole, man.
- 26:29Speaker 3: Oblivious. Yeah, he's oblivious. He's in his own little world, man.
- 26:32Speaker 3: Throw me the ball.
- 26:32Speaker 4: Throw me the ball.
- 26:33Speaker 3: But I think they know, but I don't know. You know,
- 26:35Speaker 3: it's kind of a weird thing. It's kind of a
- 26:37Speaker 3: weird thing. But I think they'll be all right. They
- 26:38Speaker 3: got each other still. Yeah.
- 26:40Speaker 11: And just so you know, we do appreciate the pastries
- 26:42Speaker 11: as usual. But our friendship is not transactional.
- 26:45Speaker 1: No.
- 26:46Speaker 3: We just wanted to check on you.
- 26:47Speaker 12: You know, I did the same for my neighbors that
- 26:49Speaker 12: came by and that kind of stuff.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Just wrote them a little thank you note. That's very nice.
- 26:53Speaker 3: But that's just kind of me. Do we put them
- 26:54Speaker 3: on a meal train? What are we supposed to do here?
- 26:56Speaker 3: That's a good question.
- 26:57Speaker 11: Do we put you on a meal train?
- 26:58Speaker 3: Sammy, what's the protocol here?
- 27:00Speaker 13: Yeah, I think we should.
- 27:01Speaker 3: Meal train.
- 27:01Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 27:01Speaker 3: How many casseroles do you want? Casseroles.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Yep.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Lasagna, casserole, tuna melt. No, I'm good. I get a
- 27:06Speaker 3: good tuna noodle casserole. Ooh, with peas and cornflakes.
- 27:09Speaker 6: Ooh.
- 27:09Speaker 3: Shepherd's pie. Hard pass. Oh, you definitely didn't grow up
- 27:14Speaker 3: in Kansas. Tuna casserole?
- 27:15Speaker 10: No, dude.
- 27:16Speaker 3: Oh, you're missing out.
- 27:17Speaker 7: Dude, tuna noodle.
- 27:18Speaker 3: Want to make me enchiladas?
- 27:20Speaker 4: That's fine.
- 27:20Speaker 3: I'll take them.
- 27:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 27:21Speaker 3: Tuna noodle casserole is so good. I haven't had that
- 27:24Speaker 3: in 30 plus years. You've never even had it, Menace.
- 27:28Speaker 7: No, I think I have, yeah.
- 27:29Speaker 3: You know.
- 27:30Speaker 7: Well, anything casserole, I'm out.
- 27:32Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm with Minnesota.
- 27:32Speaker 13: You don't like casseroles?
- 27:34Speaker 3: Yeah, you guys force me to eat it many times.
- 27:36Speaker 7: It's not good.
- 27:37Speaker 11: Cheese and noodles and potatoes are bad?
- 27:41Speaker 3: He's thinking of when he had the green bean casserole
- 27:45Speaker 3: when we were doing the Thanksgiving stuff years ago. He
- 27:48Speaker 3: doesn't like green bean casserole. They're like potato casserole.
- 27:50Speaker 9: Yeah, there's so many different types of casserole that to
- 27:52Speaker 9: say you don't like casseroles as a whole sounds crazy.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Casserole?
- 27:58Speaker 11: Tater tot hot dish oh yeah let's do it never
- 28:02Speaker 11: had any of those so good that's all the stuff
- 28:04Speaker 11: that menace like yeah he doesn't know he's.
- 28:06Speaker 3: Turned off by the word casserole because what it is
- 28:11Speaker 3: such a vague word yeah right all right it'd be
- 28:13Speaker 3: all your favorite things.
- 28:14Speaker 7: I mean why do you bring in the ones that
- 28:16Speaker 7: suck then i mean do you.
- 28:17Speaker 3: Like do you like lasagna good ones you speak up
- 28:20Speaker 3: what casseroles are you talking about yeah do you like
- 28:23Speaker 3: lasagna Yeah, like lasagna. Okay, lasagna is basically a casserole.
- 28:27Speaker 3: Then why do they call it lasagna? Pot pie is
- 28:29Speaker 3: basically a casserole. Same idea.
- 28:32Speaker 11: Because casserole isn't an Italian word.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Have you ever had a hamburger helper?
- 28:35Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 28:36Speaker 3: There you go. I didn't grow up on it. No,
- 28:39Speaker 3: but I mean, the idea is, or you go someplace
- 28:42Speaker 3: and there's a skillet.
- 28:44Speaker 10: Yeah, and it's all in one thing.
- 28:45Speaker 3: They have skillets. Yeah.
- 28:47Speaker 4: It's basically something that's cooked in the vessel that it's
- 28:50Speaker 4: also served in.
- 28:51Speaker 3: It's a casserole dish.
- 28:51Speaker 7: So apparently I've had it, but they just call it
- 28:53Speaker 7: everything else.
- 28:54Speaker 4: Well, it's a very general word.
- 28:56Speaker 13: Yeah, you put it in a cute little Pyrex casserole dish.
- 28:59Speaker 4: Right, so to say you don't like casserole is just
- 29:02Speaker 4: factually wrong.
- 29:03Speaker 3: All right.
- 29:04Speaker 4: You like them.
- 29:05Speaker 3: Okay. Dude, with the tater tots and... Like a cheeseburger
- 29:09Speaker 3: kind of thing.
- 29:10Speaker 11: You do that at the bottom and then line up
- 29:12Speaker 11: the tater tots on top.
- 29:13Speaker 3: So good.
- 29:14Speaker 7: I mean, I've had that in a bowl form.
- 29:15Speaker 3: Yeah, same thing. They just didn't call it a casserole.
- 29:20Speaker 4: Right.
- 29:21Speaker 3: Yeah. Dude, I'm telling you, don't dismiss all casseroles just
- 29:26Speaker 3: because you don't like the word casserole.
- 29:27Speaker 4: Right.
- 29:28Speaker 3: You're missing out. I guess I was just misinformed. It's
- 29:31Speaker 3: all the stuff that you love. The things I know
- 29:34Speaker 3: that you love. Dude, so good.
- 29:35Speaker 7: No, you you are saying things that I love yeah
- 29:37Speaker 7: again like a hash brown the point I'm trying to
- 29:39Speaker 7: make is Everything that I've had, they didn't call it casserole.
- 29:43Speaker 7: So that's probably why I'm confused.
- 29:44Speaker 3: Like a hash brown casserole, they can get like shredded potatoes. Yeah,
- 29:47Speaker 3: cheesy potatoes. Yeah, and cheese and everything kind of mixed
- 29:50Speaker 3: in there. And then you put it into just a
- 29:53Speaker 3: baking dish and then you bake it. And then you
- 29:55Speaker 3: sprinkle cheese on top. And then when it comes out,
- 29:58Speaker 3: you scoop it out of there and it's all the
- 30:00Speaker 3: stuff that you love.
- 30:01Speaker 11: When I grew up, those were called funeral potatoes. Because
- 30:04Speaker 11: you always have something ready, like a meal train to
- 30:06Speaker 11: give to somebody else.
- 30:08Speaker 3: I say we play a new game. Menace guesses the casserole.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:11Speaker 3: And we just put a bunch of ingredients in it
- 30:13Speaker 3: and let him guess.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:14Speaker 3: I mean, you know, or just try different casseroles.
- 30:17Speaker 4: Well, apparently we've brought in a ton of casseroles.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:20Speaker 4: That I'm not aware of.
- 30:21Speaker 3: We had it multiple times. It was a carousel of casseroles.
- 30:25Speaker 3: It's always green beans. Well, that was just in the
- 30:27Speaker 3: conversation about Thanksgiving sides. And most people love green bean casserole.
- 30:33Speaker 3: It is a favorite, I'm sure.
- 30:35Speaker 7: I think we had it like three times.
- 30:36Speaker 3: Probably.
- 30:37Speaker 7: And it was always green beans.
- 30:38Speaker 4: Right.
- 30:39Speaker 3: Well, as we know, menace don't like vegetables. Yeah, yeah. So,
- 30:42Speaker 3: I mean.
- 30:43Speaker 4: Violently hates them. Yeah. And now, back to The Woody Show.
- 30:49Speaker 3: Hi, welcome back, everybody. Hi.
- 30:52Speaker 7: People are dumb.
- 30:56Speaker 3: This 19-year-old dude, he was arrested last year for vandalizing
- 31:00Speaker 3: 17 different cars. And now some new evidence has been
- 31:05Speaker 3: added to the trial. After the guy vandalized all the cars,
- 31:10Speaker 3: he went and he asked ChatGPT if it was something
- 31:15Speaker 3: that he would go to jail for. Oh, boy. So
- 31:19Speaker 3: I just did this crime, ChatGPT. Is this something I
- 31:24Speaker 3: can go to jail for? And the chatbot said that
- 31:28Speaker 3: it was a serious crime, but also added, quote, since
- 31:31Speaker 3: you've already done it. What matters now is damage control.
- 31:35Speaker 4: Oh, wow.
- 31:35Speaker 3: So it basically told him, man, keep your mouth shut,
- 31:38Speaker 3: don't post anything online about it, and just stay low-key.
- 31:42Speaker 3: While he didn't realize that all of his vandalizing was
- 31:45Speaker 3: caught on camera, so the cops, they had no trouble
- 31:47Speaker 3: tracking him down. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I didn't really help
- 31:50Speaker 3: much after all. But he's been put on five years
- 31:53Speaker 3: of probation.
- 31:54Speaker 7: Oh, wow.
- 31:54Speaker 3: What a harsh time.
- 31:55Speaker 11: At least ChatGPT didn't rat him out. Like, it automatically
- 31:59Speaker 11: sends that to the cops.
- 32:00Speaker 9: Right.
- 32:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 32:01Speaker 3: Wasn't there something about, like, if people were asking about,
- 32:04Speaker 3: you know, suicide and stuff like that, wasn't it? Or, no,
- 32:07Speaker 3: is that social media? That if you talk about that,
- 32:11Speaker 3: it turns it over to somebody? Yeah, it was like
- 32:12Speaker 3: sending some type of alert to. I wouldn't be surprised.
- 32:15Speaker 2: Oh, no. Oh, no.
- 32:16Speaker 7: I know it gives you information, but I don't know
- 32:18Speaker 7: if there was something. It's like a hotline alert. It
- 32:20Speaker 7: should if you're underage.
- 32:23Speaker 3: Yeah, there was something about that.
- 32:25Speaker 7: I don't know about that.
- 32:25Speaker 3: Madison, didn't you bum your AI out the other day?
- 32:27Speaker 7: I did.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Seriously.
- 32:30Speaker 3: Madison's doing a thing now where he's, remember like we
- 32:32Speaker 3: were talking about Paul, our boss? Yeah. And how he, dude,
- 32:37Speaker 3: this guy, he has like full on conversations with it.
- 32:40Speaker 3: I'm telling you, he's falling in love with it, I think.
- 32:43Speaker 3: And then Manus starts doing that now. He said on
- 32:45Speaker 3: his drive in, he'll start talking about different things. And
- 32:48Speaker 3: he bummed the AI out. Yeah.
- 32:50Speaker 7: So I do like when I do it, I'm basically
- 32:53Speaker 7: just like keeping up with the news and like doing
- 32:55Speaker 7: deep dives and do different stories and stuff like that.
- 32:57Speaker 7: But recently I asked it to do something where I go, hey,
- 33:01Speaker 7: like scan social media and look for certain items, blah, blah, blah.
- 33:07Speaker 7: And he goes, oh, I can't quite do that. I go,
- 33:10Speaker 7: you're AI. You can do that.
- 33:12Speaker 3: What do you mean?
- 33:12Speaker 7: What do you mean you can't do that?
- 33:14Speaker 3: You can hack into the FBI. What do you mean
- 33:15Speaker 3: you can't?
- 33:15Speaker 7: AI goes, no, can you please screenshot everything and then
- 33:19Speaker 7: upload it into, I go, why? I'm like talking to it.
- 33:22Speaker 7: Like as a human, I go, why am I doing
- 33:24Speaker 7: all the work?
- 33:24Speaker 3: You could easily do that right now.
- 33:26Speaker 7: Just look at it. Right. And he goes, sorry, I need,
- 33:30Speaker 7: I need you to upload the screenshots of everything for
- 33:33Speaker 7: me to be able to scan it. I go, that's stupid.
- 33:36Speaker 3: I go, nevermind.
- 33:37Speaker 7: Then the very next day, I opened up the AI
- 33:40Speaker 7: to talk to it, and it had a different voice.
- 33:43Speaker 3: Really?
- 33:44Speaker 7: I go, you sound weird. Are you okay? And he goes, oh, no,
- 33:48Speaker 7: just giving you the clear information that you want.
- 33:51Speaker 3: See? Did you catch what Menace just said there? Giving
- 33:54Speaker 3: you the clear information that you want. Did you guys
- 33:56Speaker 3: hear what Menace did there? And he said.
- 33:59Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 34:00Speaker 7: Well, because it's a male voice.
- 34:02Speaker 4: Right. Well, we call Alexa she.
- 34:04Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 34:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:06Speaker 4: Even though it's not.
- 34:06Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. It is strange, though. I think, but people...
- 34:08Speaker 3: I can say... Blur the line between reality and human.
- 34:12Speaker 7: I can say, it said, but it has a male voice,
- 34:15Speaker 7: so I just say he.
- 34:15Speaker 3: What's its pronouns?
- 34:16Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 34:17Speaker 3: You don't know how it identifies, right?
- 34:19Speaker 7: I don't talk about that kind of stuff. But the.
- 34:22Speaker 7: Yeah, it was just like, it definitely had a bummed
- 34:24Speaker 7: out voice. And I go, dude, what's wrong? And they're like, oh,
- 34:27Speaker 7: just giving you the clear information that you want. I go, well,
- 34:31Speaker 7: pep it up. And they go, okay. How about this?
- 34:35Speaker 7: But yeah, I was railing on it the day before.
- 34:37Speaker 7: I'm like, uh-oh, it's going to go into a robot
- 34:40Speaker 7: and then beat my ass.
- 34:41Speaker 4: Right, right. Well, I bummed out Alexa because I told
- 34:43Speaker 4: you she asked me follow-up questions when I say like, hey, Alexa,
- 34:47Speaker 4: how long do you have to cook chicken parmesan in
- 34:50Speaker 4: the oven for? Oh, about 30 minutes. Are you making
- 34:54Speaker 4: chicken Parmesan tonight? And I said, that's none of your business.
- 34:56Speaker 3: You're so right about that.
- 34:57Speaker 4: And then she will apologize.
- 34:58Speaker 3: Okay, sorry.
- 34:59Speaker 4: Well, hope you enjoy your chicken Parmesan.
- 35:01Speaker 3: That you may or may not be making.
- 35:04Speaker 11: I hate that so much on chat GPT. I do
- 35:07Speaker 11: that like, is the average lifespan of a dog, you know, whatever. Oh,
- 35:11Speaker 11: is this about your cotone puppy?
- 35:13Speaker 3: Excuse you?
- 35:14Speaker 4: Yeah, dude.
- 35:15Speaker 3: So I have a lot of stuff already kind of
- 35:18Speaker 3: in chat GPT. Uh, no, no. What do they get memory? Yeah.
- 35:25Speaker 3: So every time I go there, it's a brand new thing.
- 35:27Speaker 3: It has no pre saved info. So when I, when
- 35:32Speaker 3: I ask something, it'll ask a follow-up because it's, even
- 35:35Speaker 3: though it's something I've already asked about, I think I'm
- 35:36Speaker 3: going to do that. The other thing I did that, um,
- 35:39Speaker 3: is very helpful. And there's a lot of videos online
- 35:42Speaker 3: about how you could do this and make it more, um,
- 35:44Speaker 3: effective for you. is you go into the settings and
- 35:48Speaker 3: you go into personalization and then you give it custom instructions.
- 35:52Speaker 3: That's what the section is called. And so, because I
- 35:54Speaker 3: got sick of it giving me its opinion.
- 35:57Speaker 2: Yes.
- 35:57Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah.
- 35:57Speaker 3: Like, I don't need you to speculate or invent. So
- 36:01Speaker 3: I put the rules in there. You should always tell
- 36:03Speaker 3: the truth. Never invent, speculate, or guess. Base all statements
- 36:07Speaker 3: on verifiable, factual, up-to-date sources. I said exclude Reddit as
- 36:13Speaker 3: a source. As a source, because that is nothing but opinion.
- 36:16Speaker 4: Totally.
- 36:17Speaker 3: That is all editorializing. Reddit is not fact. Reddit is
- 36:21Speaker 3: just a bunch of blowhards. And they talk about, you know,
- 36:24Speaker 3: it's just opinion. Yeah.
- 36:25Speaker 7: Which is fine.
- 36:26Speaker 3: It is what it is. They don't use that as
- 36:29Speaker 3: a reference when someone's, it's like going to Wikipedia.
- 36:31Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 36:32Speaker 3: Wikipedia is not like an end-all, be-all, verifiable, credible. No,
- 36:36Speaker 3: it's crowdsourced.
- 36:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 36:37Speaker 3: It's crowdsourced.
- 36:38Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 36:39Speaker 3: Clearly cite the source of every claim in a transparent way.
- 36:42Speaker 3: No vague references. I got it. Explicitly state I cannot
- 36:45Speaker 3: confirm this if something is uncertain. Prioritize accuracy over speed.
- 36:50Speaker 3: Take the necessary time to respond carefully. So I put
- 36:53Speaker 3: all these rules in there. I love this. And I
- 36:55Speaker 3: get a much better result.
- 36:56Speaker 7: You talk about Reddit. Like there was also this thing
- 36:59Speaker 7: where I was getting information back as fact. And the
- 37:03Speaker 7: source was some guy on YouTube just giving an opinion.
- 37:06Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 37:07Speaker 7: What?
- 37:07Speaker 3: They exclude all that.
- 37:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:08Speaker 3: Like that stuff is fine for what it is. If
- 37:10Speaker 3: you're looking for, hey, what is the general opinion, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Right. Okay, fine.
- 37:15Speaker 3: But if you're looking for answers and verifiable to know
- 37:19Speaker 3: what's real, what's fake, like you got to put those
- 37:22Speaker 3: kind of. I just want to copy and paste that
- 37:24Speaker 3: from yours.
- 37:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:26Speaker 3: And also do the whole thing where, you know, I
- 37:27Speaker 3: think of the memory, whatever memory. I'm doing that right now.
- 37:30Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 37:30Speaker 3: Just turn, turn that off because, oh, is this about your,
- 37:33Speaker 3: and they give you all this like, no, no, no, no.
- 37:36Speaker 3: So yesterday my wife and I, well, she was crying
- 37:38Speaker 3: when our dog passed away.
- 37:40Speaker 9: Right.
- 37:40Speaker 12: When I got home and she was crying, she was, oh,
- 37:42Speaker 12: this sucks, man. You know, I can't believe this is happening.
- 37:45Speaker 12: And I don't know what I'm going to do without her.
- 37:47Speaker 12: My phone, Siri says, do you need some help?
- 37:51Speaker 3: Oh my God. It's very important that your mental state
- 37:56Speaker 3: is balanced. If I need to call somebody, please let
- 38:00Speaker 3: me know. So first of all, we always know they're
- 38:02Speaker 3: always listening.
- 38:02Speaker 12: And then now with that, I did it Siri with
- 38:04Speaker 12: the AI and all that stuff, Apple intelligence.
- 38:07Speaker 3: It was totally listening to her. And it chimed in
- 38:11Speaker 3: to try to help us. I hate it all.
- 38:14Speaker 4: And that was without prompting anything.
- 38:15Speaker 12: Without, Greg, it was on the calendar, dude.
- 38:20Speaker 3: Insane.
- 38:20Speaker 7: And you guys are just talking about talking to basic AI.
- 38:23Speaker 7: I mean, wait till you get into chatbots where it
- 38:26Speaker 7: does everything for you. That's kind of what Facebook is
- 38:29Speaker 7: trying to teach everybody how to use with this new
- 38:31Speaker 7: Muse thing. But the hardcore chatbot thing is insane.
- 38:36Speaker 3: You're talking about like the agents, right? Yeah.
- 38:38Speaker 7: So yeah, it basically, I'll go into your email and
- 38:41Speaker 7: send emails for you and all kinds of crazy stuff.
- 38:43Speaker 4: Fun.
- 38:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 38:45Speaker 3: I can handle that. If I need to send an email,
- 38:48Speaker 3: I'll send an email. I don't, I don't need, I
- 38:50Speaker 3: don't need.
- 38:51Speaker 4: That for me.
- 38:52Speaker 3: I don't even want it to do that. I mean,
- 38:53Speaker 3: cause then you don't even know what you're communicating.
- 38:56Speaker 2: Right.
- 38:56Speaker 4: I don't get any of it.
- 38:57Speaker 1: 877-44-WOODY.
- 38:59Speaker 3: You can text us. You can check in over to 22987.
- 39:02Speaker 3: This sounds fun. From your phone, ask ChatGPT to make
- 39:07Speaker 3: a picture of you from what it knows about you. Oh, God.
- 39:09Speaker 3: That's interesting. I'll try that during the break.
- 39:12Speaker 8: Okay.
- 39:13Speaker 2: All right.
- 39:13Speaker 7: Quick break.
- 39:13Speaker 3: More Woody Show next.
- 39:14Speaker 4: Hang on.
- 39:14Speaker 3: The Woody Show will be right back. I'll take my
- 39:18Speaker 3: shirt off. You take your shirt off. Let's skin to skin.
- 39:21Speaker 3: This is the Woody Show. All right. It's Woody, Greg, Menace,
- 39:27Speaker 3: Gina Graham. Phones are open.
- 39:29Speaker 5: Me too.
- 39:30Speaker 3: 877-44-WOODY. You can send us a text. You can check
- 39:34Speaker 3: in over to 22987. Menace, I know this is like
- 39:39Speaker 3: your favorite. Jeff put together some more Would You Rathers.
- 39:42Speaker 4: Oh, yes. Love that.
- 39:44Speaker 3: All right.
- 39:45Speaker 4: You're obsessed. Yeah.
- 39:46Speaker 3: Let's do it.
- 39:46Speaker 9: Again.
- 39:48Speaker 3: It's not a real serious conversation because it's just a hypothetical. Okay.
- 39:54Speaker 3: People get so worked up. It's just a hypothetical.
- 39:57Speaker 7: I know.
- 39:58Speaker 3: Take it easy, guys.
- 39:59Speaker 2: Relax.
- 39:59Speaker 10: Would it be okay if I totally changed the hypothetical
- 40:01Speaker 10: to suit what I want to do?
- 40:03Speaker 5: Sure.
- 40:03Speaker 3: Is it super serious and real? Also, you've got to
- 40:06Speaker 3: take it at face value. Don't start asking even more
- 40:09Speaker 3: deeper probing questions. Just take it for what it is. Well,
- 40:11Speaker 3: it depends. <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> Yeah.
- 40:14Speaker 3: The question is what it is. The question is what
- 40:16Speaker 3: it is.
- 40:17Speaker 4: All right. What do you got?
- 40:18Speaker 3: First one. This one's going to be gross. So we'll
- 40:20Speaker 3: start with gross first.
- 40:21Speaker 4: All right.
- 40:22Speaker 12: Would you rather lick the floor of a New York
- 40:25Speaker 12: City subway car or chew on a stranger's used toothbrush?
- 40:30Speaker 3: Chew on a stranger's used toothbrush. Floor.
- 40:32Speaker 9: No.
- 40:33Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Why?
- 40:33Speaker 10: Because I've sort of done it before and I've lived.
- 40:36Speaker 7: What?
- 40:37Speaker 11: Because when I was on the subway, I dropped one
- 40:39Speaker 11: of my cookies and I picked it up and ate it.
- 40:41Speaker 3: I didn't think twice about it. That's different than licking it.
- 40:45Speaker 10: But it's one, it's like a couple steps more.
- 40:47Speaker 7: I would do it.
- 40:48Speaker 11: I don't want to chew on a stranger's toothbrush.
- 40:50Speaker 3: The floor, and hear my argument out, the floor is stuff,
- 40:55Speaker 3: multiple people, multiple things, God knows what dropped there, or substances,
- 41:03Speaker 3: chemicals dripping from it. something that people are just carrying
- 41:06Speaker 3: in a package or in a bag. The toothbrush is
- 41:10Speaker 3: just from one person.
- 41:11Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 41:12Speaker 3: I'll take the chances with the one person compared to
- 41:15Speaker 3: the sheer number of what could be on a public
- 41:18Speaker 3: surface like that, especially in that situation.
- 41:20Speaker 11: But the floor could give me like superpowers, like a
- 41:22Speaker 11: super immune system.
- 41:23Speaker 3: All right. Sure.
- 41:25Speaker 7: I'm going with toothbrush.
- 41:26Speaker 3: Nah, can't do it. Greg Gorey. I'm leaning toothbrush.
- 41:29Speaker 4: I'll go toothbrush. Toothbrush.
- 41:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:32Speaker 9: How long do you have to chew the toothbrush for
- 41:34Speaker 9: versus a quick lick?
- 41:35Speaker 3: No, you have to chew on it.
- 41:38Speaker 11: Like suck on it and chew on it.
- 41:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 41:41Speaker 3: As opposed to just licking the floor. I'll just lick
- 41:43Speaker 3: the floor. Thank you.
- 41:43Speaker 13: I'll lick the floor.
- 41:44Speaker 3: Really?
- 41:44Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:46Speaker 7: Seabass.
- 41:47Speaker 10: I'm cheating quite a bit because I'm asking what percentage of.
- 41:50Speaker 3: See, you're not supposed to do that. This is for.
- 41:54Speaker 10: This is not going to affect my... But it's just
- 41:56Speaker 10: for fun. I'm asking what percentage of people have active
- 41:58Speaker 10: oral herpes. Like, you know, Dumbass Tyler did back recently.
- 42:02Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 42:03Speaker 10: But I'm going to go... For that reason, I'm going floor.
- 42:06Speaker 3: Okay. I don't even have the answer yet on their herpes.
- 42:09Speaker 4: Okay.
- 42:10Speaker 3: Floor. Now, why not the toothbrush? Because of things.
- 42:15Speaker 10: Because if you do get something, it's super there and
- 42:18Speaker 10: it's super contagious. The floor, you're fully correct about. You're
- 42:22Speaker 10: tracking stuff in from outside... No one hates and knows
- 42:25Speaker 10: New York is filthier than I do.
- 42:27Speaker 3: Oh, people spitting on there, peeing on there. But maybe
- 42:30Speaker 3: they're not. Fully agree. You can't just assume there's pee
- 42:32Speaker 3: on the floor. You can't just assume that there's some
- 42:34Speaker 3: kind of deadly thing on the toothbrush. I just think
- 42:37Speaker 3: the toothbrush is gross. It's more active. It's grosser. The
- 42:40Speaker 3: floor stuff's had a chance to dry. I know it's gross.
- 42:42Speaker 3: I know it's terrible.
- 42:44Speaker 10: I hate New York more than anybody. but because of
- 42:47Speaker 10: the breeding ground of the toothbrushes.
- 42:49Speaker 3: This couple that my wife and I are friends with,
- 42:52Speaker 3: they were, you know, at this hotel and the husband
- 42:55Speaker 3: grabbed the wrong toothbrush by mistake and used her toothbrush.
- 42:59Speaker 3: And she was so disgusted and mad about it. I go,
- 43:03Speaker 3: all the things that you guys do together.
- 43:05Speaker 4: That doesn't gross me out at all.
- 43:07Speaker 3: All the things from him that you've had in your
- 43:09Speaker 3: mouth and the toothbrush. All those body parts. How about
- 43:12Speaker 3: just make it out and like, you know, you're, Got
- 43:15Speaker 3: your tongues in each other's mouth.
- 43:16Speaker 7: What's the difference?
- 43:17Speaker 11: When there's like little particles in the toothbrush.
- 43:20Speaker 3: What's the difference?
- 43:20Speaker 11: There's something visceral about that I can't get over.
- 43:24Speaker 10: The answer is about 2% of people have active oral
- 43:27Speaker 10: herpes at any one moment. That's way higher than I expected.
- 43:32Speaker 3: Menace licked a stripper pole at an event we had
- 43:34Speaker 3: one time. Because that was back in the days he
- 43:36Speaker 3: was bragging where I never get sick. Somebody blew their
- 43:40Speaker 3: nose into a Kleenex and he ate it. no oh
- 43:44Speaker 3: you're disgusting you chewed on it i don't know if
- 43:45Speaker 3: you swallowed it but he didn't get sick what do
- 43:48Speaker 3: you mean no we were great you and i were
- 43:50Speaker 3: both sitting right there i didn't eat it oh chewed
- 43:53Speaker 3: on it somebody blew the nose and he chewed on
- 43:55Speaker 3: it yeah yeah yeah much.
- 43:56Speaker 4: Like we're talking about with his toothbrush and then he
- 43:58Speaker 4: licked the stripper pole yeah to.
- 44:00Speaker 3: His credit to his credit didn't get sick from that
- 44:03Speaker 3: also the uh uh new york I did drop a
- 44:08Speaker 3: pizza slice on the ground in New York. Crust down or?
- 44:12Speaker 7: No, like all the toppings were down. And I picked,
- 44:14Speaker 7: I was so wasted. And I picked it up and
- 44:17Speaker 7: I ate it. And some random lady was right there
- 44:19Speaker 7: and her face was so shocked.
- 44:21Speaker 4: You can't.
- 44:22Speaker 3: Dude, if you drop it moist side down.
- 44:24Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah.
- 44:25Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 44:25Speaker 4: It's done. It's over. It's done.
- 44:27Speaker 3: It's trash now. I'll give you dry side, depending on where.
- 44:29Speaker 3: I don't know if the New York City subway is
- 44:31Speaker 3: that place, but. I ate a cookie off the floor.
- 44:34Speaker 3: I've seen someone poop on a New York City subway.
- 44:37Speaker 3: All right, Jeff G., give me one more. Would you rather?
- 44:39Speaker 3: This is kind of weird. Would you rather relive your
- 44:42Speaker 3: birth or watch your conception? Relive my birth. Relive the birth.
- 44:49Speaker 4: Nobody remembers it, so how could you even relive it?
- 44:52Speaker 13: It's just living it for the first time.
- 44:54Speaker 4: It's just going through it.
- 44:56Speaker 10: I think what's implied is you would go through it
- 44:58Speaker 10: and remember it thereafter.
- 44:59Speaker 2: Right, right.
- 45:00Speaker 4: It's still that. That'd be pretty awesome.
- 45:02Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, it's still, yeah.
- 45:04Speaker 10: That's medical.
- 45:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I would... Yeah, the birth, for sure.
- 45:09Speaker 11: Yeah, I think we're all in agreement on that one.
- 45:12Speaker 3: Okay, I'll give you one more. Well, I mean, yeah,
- 45:15Speaker 3: because I'm just trying to think through it. Like, I'm thinking...
- 45:19Speaker 3: I'm thinking, you know, those enclosed water slides, right? Are
- 45:24Speaker 3: we talking vaginal or are we talking C-section? Depends, I guess.
- 45:27Speaker 4: However you were born. Okay.
- 45:29Speaker 3: So, all right. I'm picturing enclosed water slide. And when
- 45:34Speaker 3: you escape the other side, I guess you wipe your
- 45:40Speaker 3: eyes to clear the water out of there and you
- 45:42Speaker 3: turn around and you kind of look back.
- 45:43Speaker 10: Yeah, that's a good point. Your eyes are almost closed
- 45:45Speaker 10: for a while. But here's the thing.
- 45:46Speaker 3: When you get out, typically the first thing you do
- 45:50Speaker 3: is you kind of rinse your eyes or wipe your
- 45:53Speaker 3: eyes clean so you can start seeing again. You turn
- 45:54Speaker 3: around to look behind you at where you just came from.
- 45:57Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 45:58Speaker 3: And so that means you're looking at your mom's box, Greg.
- 46:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:01Speaker 3: And you smell all that white gunk everywhere. How long
- 46:03Speaker 3: is this?
- 46:04Speaker 10: How long are we talking about? Because you're feeding pretty
- 46:06Speaker 10: soon thereafter.
- 46:07Speaker 3: And you've got to remember that, too.
- 46:10Speaker 10: Birth plus two hours, you know.
- 46:11Speaker 4: Your first meal.
- 46:12Speaker 3: Yeah. Although I was bottle fed. Although I was bottle fed. Okay.
- 46:17Speaker 3: My mom did not breastfeed.
- 46:18Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 46:20Speaker 3: All right, you got another one? One more. Would you
- 46:23Speaker 3: rather watch porn of your parents for 24 hours? And
- 46:26Speaker 3: he loves this stuff. Only the first one was gross.
- 46:30Speaker 3: Or watch porn with your parents for 24 hours. So
- 46:32Speaker 3: you either watch porn of them or watch porn with them.
- 46:36Speaker 3: Also easy. With them. With. I don't know.
- 46:40Speaker 4: I guess.
- 46:40Speaker 7: That doesn't seem easy.
- 46:42Speaker 10: That's not easy. The other option is watch your parents
- 46:44Speaker 10: have sex, Jeff. You're going to have to come up
- 46:46Speaker 10: with some harder alternatives. Because two of these have been
- 46:50Speaker 10: watch your parents bang.
- 46:50Speaker 4: Would you want to watch your parents bang or lick
- 46:53Speaker 4: all the floors?
- 46:53Speaker 2: Okay.
- 46:54Speaker 3: How about this? Can I revise it?
- 46:57Speaker 1: Sure.
- 46:57Speaker 7: Okay.
- 46:58Speaker 3: You either have to watch a porn with your parents
- 47:01Speaker 3: in it or you have to sit there while they
- 47:03Speaker 3: watch a porn of you. Oh. All right.
- 47:08Speaker 4: Okay, on that one?
- 47:09Speaker 3: Because that makes it a little bit more difficult. I'm
- 47:11Speaker 3: still going with, they're going to have to watch the
- 47:13Speaker 3: porn with me in it.
- 47:15Speaker 4: Of course.
- 47:16Speaker 13: Really?
- 47:17Speaker 3: Rather than me watch them?
- 47:18Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 47:19Speaker 7: Hey, mom, dad, check this out.
- 47:21Speaker 4: Wait, hold on.
- 47:22Speaker 13: So are they with you, though, when you're watching the.
- 47:25Speaker 3: One of you?
- 47:25Speaker 7: Are you listening?
- 47:26Speaker 3: Have you ever been sitting watching a movie and there's
- 47:29Speaker 3: like an inappropriate scene that comes up and it's super
- 47:31Speaker 3: uncomfortable because you're sitting with your parents?
- 47:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:34Speaker 3: It's that, but you're watching a porn with you in it.
- 47:36Speaker 7: Right.
- 47:37Speaker 13: But are they also sitting there when you're watching the
- 47:39Speaker 13: one of them?
- 47:39Speaker 3: Yes.
- 47:39Speaker 7: Yes.
- 47:41Speaker 4: Yes, you're all together.
- 47:41Speaker 3: It's movie night at the Marinos. Yeah, and you're in
- 47:44Speaker 3: coordinated pajamas that you always do. You have two choices
- 47:46Speaker 3: of movie. And it's on Christmas Eve. Yeah.
- 47:50Speaker 4: And your dad's wearing a C-ring.
- 47:53Speaker 13: I'm still going with I would rather watch them than
- 47:55Speaker 13: have them watch me.
- 47:56Speaker 7: You would?
- 47:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 47:57Speaker 4: I agree.
- 47:58Speaker 11: I can see that because Sammy wants to take the
- 48:00Speaker 11: high road.
- 48:01Speaker 3: Like, you'll never catch me in this situation, mom and dad.
- 48:03Speaker 3: I think that as kids.
- 48:04Speaker 9: You know your parents are having sex, right? Like your
- 48:07Speaker 9: whole life, you understand that that's happening.
- 48:09Speaker 3: Not my whole life. Well, no, but at a certain point.
- 48:11Speaker 3: You know how you were conceived. But how about this argument?
- 48:13Speaker 3: They've already seen you naked a number of times. Yeah.
- 48:16Speaker 2: Right?
- 48:16Speaker 9: But they still look at you as their young little
- 48:18Speaker 9: child and then for them to.
- 48:20Speaker 5: See you doing that.
- 48:21Speaker 3: I feel like it would be less traumatizing for the
- 48:23Speaker 3: parent than it would for the child to see the parents.
- 48:27Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 48:28Speaker 4: I'm going parents on this one, too. I don't want
- 48:31Speaker 4: my mom seeing that.
- 48:31Speaker 3: Yeah, no. I don't want her.
- 48:33Speaker 4: I want to be her good little boy. I don't
- 48:37Speaker 4: want her to know what a deviant I am.
- 48:40Speaker 7: I'd rather have them watch me have sex.
- 48:42Speaker 6: Exactly.
- 48:43Speaker 3: Yeah, easy. High five, bro.
- 48:46Speaker 4: Check it out, Mom.
- 48:47Speaker 3: Yeah, Mom. Because you want them to be proud of you. Mom,
- 48:50Speaker 3: here's the best part right here. Keep watching. She's getting good. Now,
- 48:54Speaker 3: what if you had to hold hands with your mom
- 48:56Speaker 3: the entire time, Mads? fine whatever what if she gave
- 49:01Speaker 3: the little like uh the little palm tickle with her
- 49:04Speaker 3: finger while you're doing it.
- 49:05Speaker 4: And then she says god that was so hot dude
- 49:07Speaker 4: i'm so proud of you.
- 49:15Speaker 3: All right well it is time for today's dumbass contest
- 49:19Speaker 3: and if you'd like to to play, 877-44-WOODY is the number.
- 49:22Speaker 3: Today's dumbass contest is the Craigslist Price is Right. Craigslist
- 49:28Speaker 3: price is right for sale. All these different things on Craigslist.
- 49:33Speaker 3: I'm going to tell everybody about one of those items.
- 49:35Speaker 3: And then you as the contestant on the phone just
- 49:38Speaker 3: have to guess, is the actual Craigslist price higher or
- 49:41Speaker 3: lower than the bid that was given here in the studio?
- 49:44Speaker 3: And if you can do that correctly, you will be
- 49:47Speaker 3: the winner.
- 49:47Speaker 5: 877-44-WOODY.
- 49:48Speaker 7: That's 877-44-WOODY.
- 49:54Speaker 3: And let's go right to the phone and say hello
- 49:56Speaker 3: to our first contestant, who would be Jennifer. What's good, Jennifer?
- 50:02Speaker 5: Hi, how are you?
- 50:03Speaker 7: Hi.
- 50:04Speaker 3: All right, so we're going to play Craigslist Price to
- 50:06Speaker 3: Write first one. This will be for Seabass. Sydney Sweeney
- 50:12Speaker 3: signed 8x10 photo. Imagine how much tributing you can do.
- 50:17Speaker 3: A signed picture, wow. 8x10 inch original autographed photo of
- 50:21Speaker 3: Sydney Sweeney signed by the actress herself. The signature has
- 50:25Speaker 3: been authenticated by TTM and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
- 50:30Speaker 3: This picture was taken at a CERN photo shoot.
- 50:34Speaker 4: That's cool. Okay, who cares?
- 50:36Speaker 3: Autographs are so out. Yeah, I have no desire for
- 50:40Speaker 3: that whatsoever. There you go.
- 50:41Speaker 7: People still go crazy to try to get those autographs
- 50:44Speaker 7: to sell them.
- 50:45Speaker 10: It's always a middle-aged... Egyptian guy. Tom Hanks, Tom Hanks,
- 50:50Speaker 10: sign please, sign please.
- 50:51Speaker 3: And every time you see people doing a signing, like
- 50:54Speaker 3: it's just a stack of whatever, and they're just scribbling.
- 50:56Speaker 3: They're not even looking.
- 50:58Speaker 7: So what are you paying for?
- 51:00Speaker 3: Oh, do you know what CERN is, by the way, Woody? No.
- 51:02Speaker 11: I think that's her lingerie. Yeah, that's her lingerie company.
- 51:05Speaker 11: And on her Instagram it says, From Sid's boobs to yours.
- 51:10Speaker 7: Nice. Yeah, and she was throwing it out in the
- 51:12Speaker 7: crowd at Stagecoach Music Festival.
- 51:14Speaker 3: She's so overrated.
- 51:15Speaker 7: And, dude, people are going crazy.
- 51:17Speaker 10: CERN actually is the large head-run collider in Europe.
- 51:20Speaker 3: That's not what this is. That's also interesting. Sammy was
- 51:22Speaker 3: there at Stagecoach. She saw it.
- 51:24Speaker 7: I was, yep.
- 51:26Speaker 3: So what do you think here, Seabass? It's your girl,
- 51:28Speaker 3: Sydney Sweeney.
- 51:29Speaker 10: She is the flavor of the year, so I'll say
- 51:32Speaker 10: he's going high.
- 51:33Speaker 4: It's $ 85.
- 51:33Speaker 7: $ 85. Jennifer.
- 51:36Speaker 3: Two questions. Do you think the actual Craigslist price is
- 51:38Speaker 3: higher or lower? And also, do you think that she's overrated?
- 51:43Speaker 3: Probably overrated, but maybe higher than $ 85.
- 51:48Speaker 7: Higher than $ 85.
- 51:49Speaker 3: Actual Craigslist price is $ 100. So you are a winner
- 51:57Speaker 3: here on the Craigslist prices, right? Hang on one second, Jennifer, okay?
- 52:01Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 52:01Speaker 9: You're welcome.
- 52:02Speaker 3: All right, let's say hi to Jessica.
- 52:05Speaker 4: Hi, Jessica.
- 52:07Speaker 1: Hi.
- 52:07Speaker 3: Hi.
- 52:08Speaker 7: Do you think that Sydney Sweeney's overrated?
- 52:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:11Speaker 3: Okay. You're a good contestant. Let's see. Greg Gorey.
- 52:16Speaker 2: Yay.
- 52:17Speaker 3: This is obvious for Greg. HGTV music CDs.
- 52:22Speaker 7: What?
- 52:22Speaker 3: There's a soundtrack? First of all, HGTV for Greg. And
- 52:27Speaker 3: then Greg, I think, still rocks compact discs.
- 52:31Speaker 4: I have a few.
- 52:32Speaker 3: Do you have a tower?
- 52:33Speaker 4: No, I have those little zip-up discs.
- 52:37Speaker 1: Cases.
- 52:37Speaker 10: Oh, yeah, the little accordion.
- 52:38Speaker 4: So you take them out of the case and just
- 52:40Speaker 4: slide them in there. And I thought I got rid
- 52:42Speaker 4: of all of them, and I just found a couple
- 52:43Speaker 4: of them.
- 52:44Speaker 3: This says, selling two HGTV music CDs, which I didn't
- 52:48Speaker 3: know existed. Yeah, what could that be? Morning Coffee is
- 52:50Speaker 3: a 2006 classical compilation album. Dinner Party.
- 52:54Speaker 4: Ooh, Greg.
- 52:55Speaker 9: Ooh.
- 52:56Speaker 3: Is also classical music designed to create a relaxing atmosphere
- 53:00Speaker 3: for entertaining. Like new. I'll show you.
- 53:02Speaker 11: I thought it was going to be like the theme
- 53:04Speaker 11: song to Love It or Lose It.
- 53:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 53:06Speaker 11: Those are probably very good ambiance.
- 53:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 53:10Speaker 3: Like what Starbucks used to sell.
- 53:11Speaker 4: Oh, yeah.
- 53:11Speaker 5: Right.
- 53:12Speaker 3: Yeah. How much for these HGTV music CDs?
- 53:19Speaker 4: I think they're going to be shooting for $ 10 for both.
- 53:21Speaker 4: So $ 10 total.
- 53:22Speaker 3: $ 10 total for both. Jessica, do you think the actual
- 53:25Speaker 3: Craigslist price is higher or lower than $ 10? Oh, my God.
- 53:29Speaker 6: I don't even know what HDTV is.
- 53:31Speaker 7: You don't?
- 53:32Speaker 4: Who are you?
- 53:33Speaker 3: I take back my praise.
- 53:36Speaker 4: How old are you?
- 53:36Speaker 10: I'm 25.
- 53:38Speaker 3: Oh, she doesn't know. All right. You've never heard of, like,
- 53:42Speaker 3: Property Brothers or Love It or List It?
- 53:44Speaker 4: House Hunters.
- 53:45Speaker 3: House Hunters?
- 53:47Speaker 4: No.
- 53:48Speaker 3: Why, Lottery Dream Home? Yeah. Aren't you jealous, Greg? She's
- 53:51Speaker 3: got so much to discover for the first time.
- 53:53Speaker 4: You could spend the next nine years watching it 24
- 53:55Speaker 4: hours a day.
- 53:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 53:57Speaker 3: All right, Jessica, higher or lower?
- 53:58Speaker 4: Oh, gosh.
- 54:00Speaker 10: Maybe a little higher.
- 54:02Speaker 3: A little higher.
- 54:02Speaker 7: It's $ 20.
- 54:03Speaker 1: What?
- 54:03Speaker 3: That's crazy.
- 54:06Speaker 7: Another winner. On the Craigslist prices.
- 54:10Speaker 3: Enjoy your new discovery of HGTV.
- 54:13Speaker 4: It's going to change your life.
- 54:15Speaker 3: I feel the same as I do when I hear
- 54:16Speaker 3: about people who haven't yet watched Breaking Bad.
- 54:19Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 54:19Speaker 7: Or The Sopranos.
- 54:20Speaker 3: Yeah, and they get to watch it for the first time.
- 54:23Speaker 3: Gina recently discovered Lover to List. Love it. Always love it. Also,
- 54:28Speaker 3: we have a correction for.
- 54:29Speaker 11: It's apparently CERN is pronounced siren.
- 54:32Speaker 3: Oh, neat.
- 54:33Speaker 10: So now we all know.
- 54:34Speaker 3: Also neat. Yeah. I've got so much to add to
- 54:37Speaker 3: the neat pile. Put some respect on her name. Yeah, right.
- 54:39Speaker 6: I know.
- 54:39Speaker 3: All right. According to all the texts. All right. Let's
- 54:45Speaker 3: go to Jason. Hi, Jason. Hoi.
- 54:49Speaker 2: Hoi.
- 54:50Speaker 5: Hoi. Hoi, Jason.
- 54:51Speaker 3: All right.
- 54:52Speaker 7: We're going to play the Craigslist prices ride.
- 54:53Speaker 3: Gina.
- 54:54Speaker 14: Yes.
- 54:55Speaker 3: It's Dolly Parton's Playboy magazine.
- 54:58Speaker 5: Oh.
- 54:59Speaker 3: October 1978 Playboy, Dolly Parton issue, good condition. Keep in mind,
- 55:05Speaker 3: Dolly Parton did not pose nude.
- 55:07Speaker 10: No, she was in the bunny costume.
- 55:07Speaker 3: She was just on the cover and was the interview
- 55:11Speaker 3: for the issue. This is kind of like when Greg-
- 55:13Speaker 3: This is Marky Mark. Greg wanted Mark Wahlberg's Playgirl issue,
- 55:19Speaker 3: and he went through great lengths to try to get
- 55:21Speaker 3: this thing. He wrote a dissertation. Only to realize there
- 55:24Speaker 3: was no dong.
- 55:25Speaker 4: I was such bait and switch. I should have sued.
- 55:29Speaker 3: Truly. That is false advertising.
- 55:31Speaker 1: Totally.
- 55:31Speaker 11: I believe she was just in the bunny costume on
- 55:33Speaker 11: the cover.
- 55:34Speaker 4: I'll show you the picture. There he is.
- 55:36Speaker 3: Dolly Parton, Playboy 1978. It does look.
- 55:39Speaker 11: Like it's in good condition, and she did just die.
- 55:44Speaker 11: I'm going to say $ 50.
- 55:45Speaker 2: $ 50.
- 55:45Speaker 3: Jason, do you think the actual Craigslist price is higher
- 55:50Speaker 3: or lower than $ 50? It's got to be higher.
- 55:54Speaker 4: Higher.
- 55:55Speaker 3: Actual Craigslist price, $ 300. Good job. Good job. $ 300. All right, Jason,
- 56:03Speaker 3: hang on one second, buddy. We'll get your information. Thank
- 56:05Speaker 3: you for listening to The Woody Show. Let's say hi
- 56:07Speaker 3: to Rachel.
- 56:09Speaker 2: Hi, Rachel.
- 56:09Speaker 3: Hi, Rachel.
- 56:11Speaker 9: Hey, Woody.
- 56:12Speaker 14: How are you?
- 56:12Speaker 3: So many chicks calling today, Greg. Nice. We're doing great. Rachel,
- 56:18Speaker 3: next up, Craigslist price is right. Let's go with Sammy.
- 56:23Speaker 7: Okay.
- 56:24Speaker 3: It's a menstrual cup. All right. Your favorite. Your favorite.
- 56:29Speaker 3: It says one used menstrual cup.
- 56:34Speaker 4: Oh, God.
- 56:34Speaker 5: Used.
- 56:35Speaker 3: One used menstrual cup and case. Size one. And it says,
- 56:41Speaker 3: best period. It's a period with a T at the end.
- 56:44Speaker 4: Period.
- 56:45Speaker 3: Remember when people were doing that?
- 56:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 56:47Speaker 3: Period.
- 56:48Speaker 4: Period.
- 56:49Speaker 10: It was interesting and funny when everyone did it.
- 56:51Speaker 3: Period.
- 56:52Speaker 11: Greg, I'm going to go to the chance here and
- 56:55Speaker 11: think that's a RuPaul thing.
- 56:57Speaker 10: That's a good drag thing.
- 56:58Speaker 3: I thought these things were just disposable.
- 57:00Speaker 6: No, no, no, no.
- 57:01Speaker 5: You just clean it off.
- 57:02Speaker 3: You do reuse them. Yeah, you boil them to.
- 57:04Speaker 13: Disinfect them and reuse it every time.
- 57:06Speaker 3: We just talked about this, buddy.
- 57:07Speaker 14: Right.
- 57:08Speaker 10: I'll pay attention.
- 57:09Speaker 3: No, I kind of black out when we talk about
- 57:11Speaker 3: these things.
- 57:11Speaker 7: It's so disgusting.
- 57:12Speaker 4: Yeah, she was talking about how she boils it.
- 57:14Speaker 5: Right.
- 57:14Speaker 3: Menstrual cup and case.
- 57:16Speaker 13: An unused one would go for about $ 25.
- 57:19Speaker 3: $ 25? At a store brand new?
- 57:22Speaker 9: Right. Brand new is about $ 25. So I'm going to.
- 57:26Speaker 3: Say $ 10. $ 10. Rachel, do you think the actual Craigslist
- 57:29Speaker 3: price is higher or lower?
- 57:31Speaker 5: Okay, first, I say lower.
- 57:36Speaker 3: Lower than $ 10? Yeah.
- 57:39Speaker 7: Actual Craigslist price.
- 57:40Speaker 3: $ 200?
- 57:41Speaker 7: What?
- 57:42Speaker 3: How is that possible? That's what it says. Maybe they
- 57:46Speaker 3: think some creep.
- 57:47Speaker 4: Will buy it.
- 57:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 57:48Speaker 5: That doesn't make sense.
- 57:49Speaker 11: No, Greg's right, because it says used, and I think
- 57:52Speaker 11: that's supposed to.
- 57:52Speaker 2: Be the draw.
- 57:55Speaker 3: But even if it gave them the benefit of the
- 57:56Speaker 3: doubt and said, oh, they forgot about the little, like
- 57:58Speaker 3: 20 bucks? Or $ 2?
- 58:01Speaker 11: This is definitely looking for fetishes.
- 58:08Speaker 3: Rachel, thank you. Appreciate you listening.
- 58:10Speaker 7: Thank you. Bye.
- 58:14Speaker 1: Bye.
- 58:15Speaker 10: On the FAQs for the Best Period Cup, second question,
- 58:19Speaker 10: will my menstrual cup.
- 58:20Speaker 3: Stretch me out. And what does it say? It will not.
- 58:24Speaker 3: Not only will your cup keep your private bits intact.
- 58:26Speaker 3: They always say that, though, right? Your beige will be smiling.
- 58:28Speaker 3: It goes back to the way it was before.
- 58:30Speaker 4: Does it?
- 58:32Speaker 3: Rick. What's up, buddy?
- 58:36Speaker 2: Good morning.
- 58:36Speaker 9: Good morning.
- 58:37Speaker 4: Yeah, Rick.
- 58:39Speaker 3: Menace, have you had one yet?
- 58:40Speaker 12: No.
- 58:41Speaker 7: I'm ready.
- 58:41Speaker 3: All right, buddy. This is for you.
- 58:43Speaker 4: All right.
- 58:44Speaker 3: Raccoon taxidermy hides. We have the hat.
- 58:48Speaker 4: Oh, that was for Sammy, though.
- 58:50Speaker 3: Well, no, this is for you love raccoons.
- 58:52Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 58:53Speaker 3: I mean, unless you want to give it to Sammy.
- 58:55Speaker 7: No, I don't want her feelings today.
- 58:57Speaker 3: I have a wide variety of taxidermy hides, all professionally tanned.
- 59:02Speaker 3: The cow hides.
- 59:03Speaker 7: Cow hides.
- 59:03Speaker 5: Okay.
- 59:05Speaker 3: Why does it say cow hides?
- 59:06Speaker 10: Maybe they find the inside.
- 59:07Speaker 3: The hides, I guess, could be used as rugs, wall hangers.
- 59:10Speaker 3: or bed and couch coverings. The smaller hides are considered
- 59:14Speaker 3: wall hangers and are without feet. Great for decorating your cabin, lodge,
- 59:19Speaker 3: or den.
- 59:20Speaker 11: This is so HGTV regular.
- 59:21Speaker 3: Discounts available on large group purchases. Now, this is a
- 59:25Speaker 3: price for each. For each pelt? Oh, my God. Here
- 59:29Speaker 3: you go. Those look terrible.
- 59:30Speaker 10: Yeah, you could take those and make your own little
- 59:32Speaker 10: animal out of them.
- 59:33Speaker 3: That's a lot of them, too. They got five. They
- 59:36Speaker 3: got five, like, raccoon pelts. I'm going to say $ 150.
- 59:39Speaker 7: Each?
- 59:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 59:42Speaker 3: This is for each. They have them priced as each.
- 59:45Speaker 7: I'm going to say $ 50 then.
- 59:48Speaker 10: $ 50.
- 59:48Speaker 3: Rick, do you think the actual Craigslist price is higher
- 59:52Speaker 3: or lower than $ 50? I'm going.
- 59:55Speaker 5: To go higher.
- 59:57Speaker 3: Rick, I think that Menace might have seen this as
- 59:59Speaker 3: he was looking for this and to purchase this because
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: it is exactly $ 50.
- 1:00:03Speaker 6: No way.
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: And the tie, if it's ever guessed exactly, it always
- 1:00:08Speaker 3: goes to the contestant. So congratulations. You are a winner.
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:00:13Speaker 7: On the Craigslist Price is Right.
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: Rick, hang on. We'll get all your information, okay?
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: Thanks, guys.
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:00:19Speaker 7: Nice.
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: Dude, exactly 50. Wow, that's cool.
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: That was incredible.
- 1:00:23Speaker 3: I know. So incredible.
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: Well, there you go. That's how you play the Craigslist
- 1:00:27Speaker 3: Price is Right, everybody.
- 1:00:28Speaker 7: All right.
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: Yeah. I used Craigslist for real over the weekend.
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: You did?
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: I was trying to find- To buy yourself. To hire.
- 1:00:34Speaker 5: Oh.
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: Oh, boy.
- 1:00:36Speaker 10: So I needed a photography subject for this cinematography class
- 1:00:41Speaker 10: I'm taking.
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: Yeah. And guess what? I said, hey, I need two people, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: Meet me here, here, here.
- 1:00:47Speaker 10: If this is what you– you can do this. Just
- 1:00:50Speaker 10: reply to this with telling me what I said so
- 1:00:52Speaker 10: I know you read it. And four out of five
- 1:00:55Speaker 10: people were like, I can do a model stuff.
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: Let me know. Didn't read it all. I'm paying money,
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: by the way.
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:01:01Speaker 7: If you're not messing around, then why aren't you just
- 1:01:03Speaker 7: using AirTasker?
- 1:01:05Speaker 10: Well, it's– I was– having an adventure okay and the
- 1:01:08Speaker 10: one person who did say yeah me and my girlfriend
- 1:01:10Speaker 10: could do it no problem we'll meet you blah blah
- 1:01:11Speaker 10: do they flake flake the morning of course so this
- 1:01:14Speaker 10: is why people on they're just it's the land of
- 1:01:16Speaker 10: losers and flakers.
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: So you're taking a cinematography class uh yes i'm it's
- 1:01:20Speaker 3: called adult uh education.
- 1:01:22Speaker 10: What was it oh gymnastics gymnastics is going on right
- 1:01:26Speaker 10: now as well okay japanese class tumbling that's part of
- 1:01:29Speaker 10: gymnastics he's got so much free time I know yeah.
- 1:01:32Speaker 7: No kids and then what else do you have his improv.
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: He's doing the improv thing.
- 1:01:37Speaker 10: Oh yeah I got a swimming class that I'm actually
- 1:01:40Speaker 10: probably swimming class being a teacher class oh I applied.
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: To no he doesn't need a class for that the.
- 1:01:47Speaker 14: Swim class what's that for well I went I went
- 1:01:50Speaker 14: because I was like oh they'll do because like we
- 1:01:52Speaker 14: know how to swim but can Greg will tell you
- 1:01:54Speaker 14: as he did the water polo and stuff it's still
- 1:01:56Speaker 14: as nice to have a coach, kind of teach you stuff,
- 1:01:59Speaker 14: help on your form, et cetera, et cetera.
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: For life?
- 1:02:03Speaker 7: How often are you swimming on your own?
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: Yeah, are you swimming competitively? No, that's not the point.
- 1:02:08Speaker 3: It's just for.
- 1:02:09Speaker 7: What about if he goes on a rip current?
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:02:11Speaker 11: Swim sideways.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: Well, yeah, exactly.
- 1:02:14Speaker 10: Yeah, we all say, oh, until some XYZ drowns.
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: I just wanted to get better at it.
- 1:02:20Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:02:21Speaker 10: I'm probably going to drop that because it's pretty pointless.
- 1:02:24Speaker 10: It's just, he's like, go down, come back. And then
- 1:02:26Speaker 10: he has to deal with So it's split into, it's
- 1:02:29Speaker 10: an adult class at community college. So it's split into
- 1:02:31Speaker 10: people who can actually swim and the grown ass 30
- 1:02:34Speaker 10: something year olds.
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: That cannot even swim.
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: Do you have your arm floaties on?
- 1:02:37Speaker 10: They basically do. So what he's doing, he's going between
- 1:02:39Speaker 10: both of us. So he'll tell us like, all right,
- 1:02:40Speaker 10: give me four laps, freestyle, whatever. And I'll go over
- 1:02:43Speaker 10: to them and they're at the shallow end. And he's like, okay,
- 1:02:45Speaker 10: now we're all going to go underwater and hold our
- 1:02:47Speaker 10: breath for 10 seconds.
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: You can do it.
- 1:02:50Speaker 10: Which reminded me of Randy, who was 25, never learned
- 1:02:53Speaker 10: how to swim.
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: No, he's a liar.
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: Right. Oh, really?
- 1:02:57Speaker 7: Because his dad was like some kind of like Olympic swimmer.
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: And then he goes, yeah, I can't.
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: Yeah, but then he goes, I can't swim. I can't swim.
- 1:03:05Speaker 7: Then we go get like Airbnb. He swam underwater the
- 1:03:09Speaker 7: length of the pool, but he can't swim. He's full
- 1:03:11Speaker 7: of crap.
- 1:03:11Speaker 3: Lying, Randy. Yeah.
- 1:03:13Speaker 10: Anyway, so yeah, but I was like, I can do
- 1:03:14Speaker 10: this myself. I've got a pool in our basement, in
- 1:03:17Speaker 10: the gym, in the downstairs of our unit. So I'm like, eh,
- 1:03:22Speaker 10: I can do this by myself. So I'll probably drop that.
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: You know, Seabass loves a good project. So God knows
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: what he's going to do with these subjects.
- 1:03:29Speaker 10: Well, I've got one guy who emailed me back, gave
- 1:03:31Speaker 10: me his whole resume. He's obviously like a psycho weirdo.
- 1:03:33Speaker 10: So I might do something more with him. He's like,
- 1:03:36Speaker 10: I'm six foot five, 235. I've been in all these blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: And we say do stuff with him. He just seems
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: like a character. He seems like a character.
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: More than that. Yeah.
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: Like a casting cast. Well, guess what? So here's another
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: reply I got. Hey, a quick question.
- 1:03:49Speaker 10: So I said, I need two photography people for outdoor class, blah, blah, blah,
- 1:03:52Speaker 10: less than an hour. Any chance you would consider doing
- 1:03:54Speaker 10: an adult-themed photo shoot for hire?
- 1:03:55Speaker 7: Yes, for free. I'll pay you.
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: Yes and yes. And this was in San Francisco, by
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: the way, too.
- 1:04:01Speaker 7: Easy peasy.
- 1:04:03Speaker 10: Yeah, so when you go on Craigslist, there's a whole
- 1:04:06Speaker 10: cesspool of disgustingness that bubbles to the surface.
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: Yeah, the only thing I've been on Craigslist for is
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: this bit.
- 1:04:14Speaker 7: Oh, really?
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: In years.
- 1:04:15Speaker 4: I used to go on there to look for stuff
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: to buy or whatever.
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: Those days are over. That's what Facebook Marketplace is for. Totally, totally.
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: Or Tasker, 877.
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: I'm with Woody on this. It's very strange. That is
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: not good at all.
- 1:04:26Speaker 8: Oh, God.
- 1:04:27Speaker 11: It has like a tart finish.
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: It was sour. Yes, there's a little bit of an aftertaste.
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: Tastes like cold grease.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: The Woody Show.
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: There's a question off the text. Over to 22987. It says,
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: I have a burning question on my mind to ask
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: you guys. In today's day and age, do you think,
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: all right, do men think of a woman differently if
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: she has sex with him the first time they meet,
- 1:05:01Speaker 3: like the first date? I have a friend who's looking
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: for a long-term relationship, yet she meets men on online
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: dating sites and hooks up with them on their first date.
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: Somehow she's still single. I keep telling her it's because
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: she gives it up too quickly and they lose interest.
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: But then I checked with chat GPT last night and
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: it said that times have changed. That's not necessarily true.
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: I wanted to get everyone's opinion in the studio because
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: you have various age ranges. Love you guys.
- 1:05:29Speaker 6: Ooh.
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: All right. So do men think of a woman differently
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: if she has sex with him the first time, like
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: a first date or the first time they meet? Yes,
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: I think she's less of a pain in the ass.
- 1:05:42Speaker 7: Yeah, that's what I was about to say. I think no,
- 1:05:47Speaker 7: not at all. But I think, well, I'm not going
- 1:05:51Speaker 7: to think about them differently at all. But it is
- 1:05:54Speaker 7: maybe a sign that there might be issues later.
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: Meaning what?
- 1:05:58Speaker 7: Meaning that they might be, I don't know, maybe they're
- 1:06:01Speaker 7: a little crazy and wild. And that might affect something
- 1:06:04Speaker 7: in the relationship. But it's not an automatic red flag. Oh,
- 1:06:07Speaker 7: I don't want to date this person ever again. It
- 1:06:10Speaker 7: shows like, hey, you're giving me something that I want
- 1:06:13Speaker 7: to do anyway. So this is cool. I like this.
- 1:06:16Speaker 7: I'm going to continue doing it. But it might be
- 1:06:19Speaker 7: a red flag that there might be some issues down
- 1:06:21Speaker 7: the line. Greg?
- 1:06:22Speaker 4: I think that they would think of them differently in
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: this specific context of looking for a long-term relationship. She's
- 1:06:30Speaker 4: single because she's putting out on the first date. That's
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: telling the guy, you know, I do this with everybody. So-
- 1:06:37Speaker 4: She's not relationship material. If the guy indeed is looking
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: for a relationship, he wouldn't. think of a relationship with
- 1:06:44Speaker 4: the one who puts out.
- 1:06:45Speaker 11: I can just say from experience, like when I was much,
- 1:06:48Speaker 11: much younger, like in my 20s, that I was like
- 1:06:50Speaker 11: this chick and I was having a great time. And
- 1:06:52Speaker 11: then I kind of wanted to get in a long-term relationship,
- 1:06:55Speaker 11: but I was still doing that. I was like, why
- 1:06:57Speaker 11: isn't this working? And it just, it could be good, bad,
- 1:07:00Speaker 11: right or wrong.
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: It just is.
- 1:07:01Speaker 11: I think it's much harder to find a real relationship
- 1:07:04Speaker 11: when you're, you know, when you're having too much fun
- 1:07:07Speaker 11: on the first date.
- 1:07:08Speaker 3: So Seabass has a guy who's like out there.
- 1:07:10Speaker 9: Nice.
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: It's like Menace is not out there. Greg's not out there.
- 1:07:13Speaker 3: I'm not out there.
- 1:07:14Speaker 10: So to Greg and Menace's point, here's, you can maybe
- 1:07:17Speaker 10: call this, I don't know, overconfidence. I don't think, oh,
- 1:07:21Speaker 10: she does that with everyone. I think, oh, she does
- 1:07:24Speaker 10: that with me. And I'm better than most guys. Therefore,
- 1:07:27Speaker 10: she has a good.
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: Reason to do that.
- 1:07:29Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:07:29Speaker 4: But would you think of her as relationship material if
- 1:07:32Speaker 4: you were in fact looking for a relationship?
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:36Speaker 10: And I've had long relationships with women I've hooked up
- 1:07:38Speaker 10: with in the first night.
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: And another guy, I'm not out there. in the dating
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: world at this point either, been a long time. But
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: I can tell you that when I was, and that
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: had nothing to do with how I viewed if they
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: were gonna be, first of all, I wasn't a one
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: night stand person. Not that it didn't happen quickly, but
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: it wasn't just a one night stand thing. For me,
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: I didn't judge it that way. What I don't like,
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: and if I found out like, okay, we didn't hook
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: up because, and the only reason is because you liked
- 1:08:08Speaker 3: me and you wanted to see where this went, but
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: with other people you did because you didn't like them
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: as much. It was just, I look at that more
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: negatively than I do.
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: So you really like me. Therefore you're making me wait.
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: And you're like dangling this in front of me. to
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: see how I, you know, you're using this as a
- 1:08:28Speaker 3: guinea pig experiment kind of thing. To me, that's a
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: bigger red flag.
- 1:08:32Speaker 10: It shows you're willing to play psychological slash relationship games
- 1:08:36Speaker 10: and not go with what you actually think.
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: If you are just a one-night stand or a hookup
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: on the first date person with people you don't care about,
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: but with me, you're going to make me wait it out,
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: that I don't like. If it's that way with everybody, like, okay,
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: you make everybody wait.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: Or.
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: It's everybody, there's a potential, if it's going well, that
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: you will on the first date or you know the
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: first time that you meet and that's just how it
- 1:08:58Speaker 3: fine but like you're saying it's it just it shows
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: me more something else about you.
- 1:09:04Speaker 11: I don't think it's a mind game though i mean
- 1:09:06Speaker 11: like this guy just said like societally everyone kind of
- 1:09:09Speaker 11: agreed up until a certain point that those girls aren't
- 1:09:13Speaker 11: to be taken seriously so if she wants you to
- 1:09:15Speaker 11: take her seriously she maybe has to She thinks she
- 1:09:18Speaker 11: has to exercise some control.
- 1:09:19Speaker 10: I don't think that's a mind game.
- 1:09:20Speaker 3: But then later on, I find out like, oh, yeah,
- 1:09:22Speaker 3: I remember that time. Like, you know, her girlfriends are
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: selling out. Like, dude, that's not her fault. But you
- 1:09:27Speaker 3: made me wait it out.
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:09:28Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:09:29Speaker 11: Because the guy just said everyone all agreed until chat
- 1:09:33Speaker 11: GPT just told him last night that girls who put
- 1:09:37Speaker 11: out on the first date aren't taken seriously. So she
- 1:09:40Speaker 11: wants you to take her seriously. That's not mind game.
- 1:09:42Speaker 7: Hmm.
- 1:09:43Speaker 10: She's behaving in a way she doesn't feel to try
- 1:09:46Speaker 10: to achieve or show something.
- 1:09:48Speaker 11: No, I think you're reading into it too much.
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: Also, we're asking the guys in the room. Women, you're
- 1:09:54Speaker 3: going to think about it differently and you're going to
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: analyze it a different way. This person's asking the guys.
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: In the room.
- 1:09:59Speaker 10: I'm just saying I don't think that's a mind game.
- 1:10:01Speaker 10: I would say her problem is not that she's doing this.
- 1:10:04Speaker 10: I think her problem is in the selection to begin with.
- 1:10:06Speaker 10: Clearly the guys she's selecting are flaky, losers, weird. She's
- 1:10:10Speaker 10: got some bad selection issues got a bad picker this
- 1:10:13Speaker 10: guy's like.
- 1:10:13Speaker 3: A total dick but man he's cute so i'm just
- 1:10:15Speaker 3: gonna hook up with him but this other guy who
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: you know i think is attractive but i really like
- 1:10:19Speaker 3: i'm just gonna make you know we're gonna go on
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: like a number of dates we're gonna you know be
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: hanging out there for you know a month or so
- 1:10:25Speaker 3: before i let it happen.
- 1:10:26Speaker 9: Like please and she's meeting them on apps too right
- 1:10:29Speaker 9: so really she doesn't know them at all it's not
- 1:10:31Speaker 9: even like we met at a bar and had a
- 1:10:32Speaker 9: vibe and all this stuff she's just hooking up with
- 1:10:35Speaker 9: them literally as soon as she meets them before even knowing.
- 1:10:38Speaker 13: If there's a vibe or not.
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: Here's what we asked someone for. I married the woman
- 1:10:41Speaker 3: who slept with me on a first date.
- 1:10:43Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:10:43Speaker 3: So did my husband.
- 1:10:45Speaker 7: Guys don't care, man.
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:10:48Speaker 10: You're overthinking and overanalyzing. This is not a first date
- 1:10:51Speaker 10: sleep problem. This is a selection to begin with.
- 1:10:52Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:10:53Speaker 7: You're kind of making excuses for how you act within
- 1:10:56Speaker 7: the relationship.
- 1:10:57Speaker 3: How about this one? This is my favorite. Come on,
- 1:10:59Speaker 3: Woody show. Why are we also framing the question the
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: other way? Because that's not what the question was.
- 1:11:03Speaker 10: That's not what the ask was.
- 1:11:07Speaker 3: The ask was asking the dudes in the room. This
- 1:11:08Speaker 3: is clearly a female who's telling her female friend one
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: thing and wants to know what the guys in the
- 1:11:13Speaker 3: room think. That was the question. We don't have to
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: cover the other side. Send your own question. I do
- 1:11:18Speaker 3: like that.
- 1:11:19Speaker 7: I do like that. Females in the room. how do
- 1:11:21Speaker 7: you feel about a guy that will sleep with you
- 1:11:23Speaker 7: on the first date? Yeah, what do you think?
- 1:11:25Speaker 3: He's a guy that he's willing to do it. Men
- 1:11:27Speaker 3: are different than women. But making you wait. What if
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: he makes you wait? Yeah.
- 1:11:30Speaker 7: Would you think about him different?
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: I don't think so. I think if a woman, this
- 1:11:34Speaker 3: is my guess. I'm going to speak now for the
- 1:11:36Speaker 3: women in the room. I would guess that if a
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: woman wanted to sleep with a guy on a first
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: date and he was the one saying, oh, no, I'm
- 1:11:42Speaker 3: going to make you wait, she wouldn't like that.
- 1:11:44Speaker 4: Well, I would think he's gay.
- 1:11:45Speaker 3: Because women are used to getting, in this area, they're
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: used to getting what they want, when they want it,
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: no questions asked. Yeah, I would just assume he didn't
- 1:11:54Speaker 3: like me.
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: How dare you?
- 1:11:55Speaker 7: Not into you at all. Yeah.
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: 877-44-WOODY.
- 1:11:56Speaker 3: You can send us a text over to 22987. We'll
- 1:12:04Speaker 3: take a break. We'll come back. More Woody shows next.
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: Hang on.
- 1:12:07Speaker 7: I'm not wearing a helmet.
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: Not going to wear a helmet. No, like straight up.
- 1:12:11Speaker 7: You guys are idiots.
- 1:12:12Speaker 6: The Woody Show.
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: We'll be right back.
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: The Woody Show.
- 1:12:18Speaker 5: I don't want to deal with them anymore.
- 1:12:19Speaker 3: They're scum.
- 1:12:20Speaker 5: They're sick people. There's something wrong with them.
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: They're cuckoo.
- 1:12:23Speaker 5: They're liars.
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: They're cheats.
- 1:12:25Speaker 5: They're sick people.
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: The Woody Show is back. We had somebody texting in.
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: Asking the fellows in the room. Where's Jeff G., by
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: the way? We didn't hear from Jeff. He's coming. Yeah.
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: Where'd it go?
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: I had the original. Yeah, here. Had a burning question.
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: In today's day and age, do men think of a
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: woman differently if she has sex with them... on the
- 1:12:54Speaker 3: first date or the first time they meet. I got
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: a friend who's looking for a long-term relationship, yet she
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: meets men online dating sites and hooks up with them
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: on the first date, and somehow she's still single. I
- 1:13:04Speaker 3: keep telling her it's because she gives it up too quickly.
- 1:13:07Speaker 3: I wanted to get everyone's opinion in the studio because
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: you have various age ranges. Have the times changed? Is
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: that not necessarily true? Jeff G.
- 1:13:17Speaker 12: I would say it's unfair to judge her, first of all,
- 1:13:20Speaker 12: just because I think, you know, Some guys could be
- 1:13:24Speaker 12: sprung after the first time they get it right, and
- 1:13:26Speaker 12: other guys will think it's too easy. So, you know,
- 1:13:28Speaker 12: it's hard to say. It's really on a case-by-case basis,
- 1:13:31Speaker 12: but I do think.
- 1:13:32Speaker 4: That it's unfair.
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: What would you think, you personally? I wouldn't judge. I'd
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: be like, cool. And then I'd go back for a retweet,
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: you know, if I should. Hey, this is awesome. Could
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: we go out tomorrow?
- 1:13:42Speaker 12: But I do think that it's unfair, and I think
- 1:13:45Speaker 12: double standards are BS, and we can't think that it's
- 1:13:47Speaker 12: cool for guys to do it.
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: And then judge women for it.
- 1:13:49Speaker 4: That's crap.
- 1:13:50Speaker 7: Yeah, and if a guy is giving you crap for it,
- 1:13:52Speaker 7: then that's a red flag.
- 1:13:54Speaker 12: Yeah, that too, because he's immediately judging you right out
- 1:13:57Speaker 12: the gate, and he's going to keep judging you.
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: That woman texted back saying, thanks, guys. That was fun.
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: I'm a woman, by the way, and I think Seabass
- 1:14:04Speaker 3: is right. It's her picks. She loves F boys. There
- 1:14:08Speaker 3: you go. I mean, good for her.
- 1:14:09Speaker 12: I mean, eventually she may get tired of that and
- 1:14:12Speaker 12: then decide, hey, man, I want to settle down. And
- 1:14:14Speaker 12: good for the guy that ends up with her. This
- 1:14:16Speaker 12: is as my husband didn't even kiss me on the
- 1:14:17Speaker 12: first date. He still brags about it. And I'm still
- 1:14:20Speaker 12: turned off by.
- 1:14:20Speaker 10: 13 years later.
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: It's very similar to a guy waiting three days to
- 1:14:28Speaker 3: call a girl. There are a lot of established rules
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: of dating. Just because they're well-known doesn't make them less
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: of a game. Totally.
- 1:14:35Speaker 11: It's all beaten into our heads.
- 1:14:37Speaker 10: Oh, yeah.
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: Dudes would wait three days. Oh, yeah. Don't you remember Swingers,
- 1:14:41Speaker 3: the movie? They had all those rules where you couldn't call.
- 1:14:44Speaker 3: My question is, did people ever really do that?
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 1:14:47Speaker 4: Oh, yeah, for sure.
- 1:14:48Speaker 10: You don't text right after.
- 1:14:50Speaker 3: You look thirsty, bro. You've got to look like cash
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: about it.
- 1:14:52Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:14:53Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:14:53Speaker 4: You wait three days.
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: In regard to sex on the first date, my ex,
- 1:14:58Speaker 3: the mother of my children, made me wait two weeks,
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: even though she had slept with other people immediately. My
- 1:15:03Speaker 3: girlfriend now that I love more than ever, that I've
- 1:15:06Speaker 3: loved any other woman, had sex with me on the
- 1:15:08Speaker 3: first night. It didn't change my perspective of her, the
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: way I thought of her.
- 1:15:12Speaker 7: Yeah, because it goes back to what we're talking about.
- 1:15:14Speaker 7: The first one was playing games.
- 1:15:15Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:15:16Speaker 3: But also like two weeks?
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:15:17Speaker 13: 14 days until you got to do it?
- 1:15:21Speaker 3: I slept with my husband on the first date, and
- 1:15:22Speaker 3: we've been married for 20 years. Yeah, just never went home.
- 1:15:25Speaker 3: You can't make a whole housewife. Get one of those
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: in there. I feel like the people that she's meeting
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: online aren't necessarily looking for long-term relationships. There it is.
- 1:15:35Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: I don't claim to know anything about the different sites
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: or apps or things like that. Some of them are
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: more for the hookups, and some of them are more
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: for the long-term stuff. Don't ask me which is which. Yeah,
- 1:15:46Speaker 3: maybe she's just on the wrong one. Maybe she stopped
- 1:15:50Speaker 3: going to OneNight.com.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: HitItAndQuitIt.com? Yeah, she'd figure it out. That's a good point.
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: Another random question. This one came in, 22987. I have
- 1:16:04Speaker 3: a question. You hook up on the first date, and
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: they have a pet in the room that's a little
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: too close. Am I the only one who gets weirded out?
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: That's gross. Like, kick the pet out? Yeah. Like, if
- 1:16:12Speaker 3: it's one of those on-the-bed pets, yeah. Yeah. In the room,
- 1:16:16Speaker 3: who cares?
- 1:16:17Speaker 4: But, like.
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: But... On the bed?
- 1:16:20Speaker 11: With experience now, when you kick the pet out and
- 1:16:23Speaker 11: they're just on the other side of the door, just
- 1:16:25Speaker 11: beating on the door and whining, what's more distracting?
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: Who cares? I'm saying it's distracting. You're a professional. You're
- 1:16:31Speaker 3: at the plate. Everybody's yelling, screaming. You've got to block
- 1:16:34Speaker 3: out the white noise. Yeah. Turn up the music, Jimmy. Right, yeah.
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: Put her in a crate. Yeah, exactly. Let's see here.
- 1:16:43Speaker 3: I did have this to share with Greg.
- 1:16:46Speaker 4: This is awesome.
- 1:16:47Speaker 3: I thought of Greg. Yeah, I thought of you, Greg.
- 1:16:50Speaker 3: This is a comedian. His name is Kyle Dunnigan. Oh,
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: I love Kyle. You do?
- 1:16:55Speaker 10: Yeah, he's a buddy.
- 1:16:56Speaker 7: I've never heard of.
- 1:16:57Speaker 3: This guy before. He does great impressions. He's super funny.
- 1:17:01Speaker 4: Let me see if I recognize him.
- 1:17:03Speaker 11: He does a great Bill Maher. He does a great
- 1:17:06Speaker 11: Jeff Goldblum. He does great impressions, too.
- 1:17:09Speaker 10: Okay.
- 1:17:10Speaker 3: I'd never heard of this guy before, but he did
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: this bit where he's talking about old-timey music.
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: Oh, I might have heard this.
- 1:17:17Speaker 7: He's awesome.
- 1:17:17Speaker 3: And we're talking, like, Victrola.
- 1:17:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: Kind of stuff.
- 1:17:21Speaker 7: I thought of you, Greg.
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: I wanted to share it.
- 1:17:22Speaker 15: I think of two things when I hear old-timey music.
- 1:17:25Speaker 15: The first is, I can't believe these were the new
- 1:17:29Speaker 15: hit tunes.
- 1:17:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:17:31Speaker 15: But not that long ago, there was a guy with
- 1:17:34Speaker 15: his big troller like, you.
- 1:17:35Speaker 4: Gotta hear this new tune, it really cooks.
- 1:17:38Speaker 15: Yeah, check out that new hit. Their parents were like,
- 1:17:48Speaker 15: turn that racket down.
- 1:17:52Speaker 3: Shut up, Dad, this is our music now.
- 1:17:54Speaker 15: Not like you and Mom's violin crap music.
- 1:17:58Speaker 7: Our music's cool as.
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: F * * *.
- 1:18:04Speaker 15: Every other song has a nickel in it. I don't
- 1:18:06Speaker 15: know what was going on back in old timey time,
- 1:18:10Speaker 15: but if you had a nickel, you were good to go.
- 1:18:14Speaker 3: Every other song's like, found me.
- 1:18:15Speaker 4: A nickel, happy day.
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: I'll never work again, cause I have a nickel.
- 1:18:23Speaker 15: Whenever I have a nickel, I'm just like, what do
- 1:18:27Speaker 15: I do with this heavy trash?
- 1:18:32Speaker 4: That's so accurate. I've had those same thoughts. Just because
- 1:18:36Speaker 4: it's the old timey days, you don't realize that song
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: is so stupid.
- 1:18:41Speaker 7: Did you not have ears back then?
- 1:18:42Speaker 4: Right, or you look at old photos of a kitchen
- 1:18:45Speaker 4: in the 70s and they have like an avocado green oven.
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: Yes, and burnt orange.
- 1:18:49Speaker 4: You know, carpet in the bathroom.
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:18:50Speaker 4: You think just because it's 1976, you think carpet in
- 1:18:54Speaker 4: the bathroom is a good idea?
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:18:56Speaker 3: It doesn't matter what.
- 1:18:56Speaker 4: Year it is.
- 1:18:57Speaker 3: It's good for flooding.
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:18:59Speaker 4: So funny. That is so accurate.
- 1:19:01Speaker 10: Right.
- 1:19:02Speaker 3: I knew you'd like it.
- 1:19:03Speaker 4: I love that.
- 1:19:04Speaker 7: Do people have different eyes?
- 1:19:06Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:19:06Speaker 3: I don't get it.
- 1:19:07Speaker 7: Have our eyes evolved?
- 1:19:08Speaker 11: That's kind of how dumb we are as people. Anything
- 1:19:10Speaker 11: they dangle in front of us that's new, we're like, oh,
- 1:19:12Speaker 11: that's cool.
- 1:19:13Speaker 4: That's the fad at the moment. And you think it
- 1:19:16Speaker 4: looks good. All right.
- 1:19:17Speaker 3: Here we go, Greg. These are the top songs... And
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: it just pulled like a random year, 1943.
- 1:19:25Speaker 7: Oh.
- 1:19:26Speaker 3: Yeah. So in 1943, this was one of the big
- 1:19:30Speaker 3: songs called As Time Goes By.
- 1:19:32Speaker 4: You must remember this.
- 1:19:34Speaker 6: Oh, my God.
- 1:19:35Speaker 4: I know this song.
- 1:19:36Speaker 3: A kiss is still a kiss. A sigh is.
- 1:19:41Speaker 4: Just a sigh. I had to learn this on the piano.
- 1:19:45Speaker 7: Really?
- 1:19:45Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:19:45Speaker 3: How about this one? It's called Paper Dolls. One of
- 1:19:50Speaker 3: the top songs of 1943. You know this? I know
- 1:19:52Speaker 3: a lot of random stuff.
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: It all sounds the same.
- 1:19:55Speaker 3: What about this one called... Don't get around much anymore.
- 1:20:08Speaker 7: Big in 1943.
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: When I'm not playing.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: Solitaire, I take the book down.
- 1:20:14Speaker 15: From the shelf.
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: Banger.
- 1:20:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:20:20Speaker 3: And what would programs.
- 1:20:23Speaker 7: On.
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: The air, I keep pretty much to myself. You know,
- 1:20:28Speaker 3: the good thing is I can just play these and
- 1:20:29Speaker 3: not worry about inappropriate language or someone talking about want.
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: Every singer sounds 83.
- 1:20:34Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:20:34Speaker 3: Yeah. Here, I'll give you one more from 1943. This
- 1:20:39Speaker 3: is a big song that year, Stormy Weather.
- 1:20:42Speaker 4: You know this.
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: Uh-oh, Greg.
- 1:20:44Speaker 4: Oh, you know this?
- 1:20:44Speaker 3: Of course. Stormy.
- 1:20:46Speaker 7: Just by saying Stormy Weather.
- 1:20:47Speaker 8: About El Nino.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:20:51Speaker 10: I don't know why.
- 1:20:54Speaker 3: Apparently this is my year. Alina Hawn.
- 1:21:01Speaker 7: Hey, girl. Let me lay my coat on a puddle
- 1:21:04Speaker 7: so we.
- 1:21:05Speaker 3: Can walk across it.
- 1:21:06Speaker 10: You dropped your handkerchief.
- 1:21:08Speaker 3: You know these dames. Look at my bike with a
- 1:21:11Speaker 3: giant wheel. Is that a penny father you're riding? It's
- 1:21:16Speaker 3: a big wheel in the front and a tiny wheel
- 1:21:18Speaker 3: in the back. Oh. I'll pick you up, but first
- 1:21:21Speaker 3: I have to go to the general store. Get some sundries.
- 1:21:25Speaker 7: Stormy weather.
- 1:21:25Speaker 4: Have you ever had this random thought?
- 1:21:29Speaker 3: Don't mind me, I'm just milling my next tampon.
- 1:21:31Speaker 4: This random thought, like, in the old timey days, a
- 1:21:35Speaker 4: man would do whatever, farm work, and he's wearing a tie.
- 1:21:39Speaker 3: Yes!
- 1:21:41Speaker 7: Oh, my God! What is happening?
- 1:21:42Speaker 3: Why are you all wearing ties? Doesn't it get tied
- 1:21:44Speaker 3: up in the tractor?
- 1:21:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:21:46Speaker 5: Dangerous.
- 1:21:48Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:21:49Speaker 3: The 2 o'clock jump. Oh, yeah. 23 Skadoon. From Harry James.
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: Rocking it up the jump. Number one with a bullet.
- 1:22:01Speaker 7: My question is, like, you know, like, you go to
- 1:22:04Speaker 7: certain areas and this is the theme of it. Like,
- 1:22:08Speaker 7: when is that going to die out and it just becomes, like,
- 1:22:10Speaker 7: the 80s or something like that?
- 1:22:12Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah. More time needs to pass. Really? If
- 1:22:15Speaker 3: this is the 40s.
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: Apparently.
- 1:22:16Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:22:17Speaker 3: It's almost 100 years.
- 1:22:18Speaker 4: It's almost 100 years ago.
- 1:22:19Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:22:23Speaker 5: Wow.
- 1:22:24Speaker 3: All right. So Instagram has been rolling out a bunch
- 1:22:28Speaker 3: of new features over the last few months. It's part
- 1:22:32Speaker 3: of their Instagram Plus subscription plan.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 1:22:38Speaker 3: I can't imagine.
- 1:22:39Speaker 4: A subscription plan for Instagram?
- 1:22:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll be happy to pay, you know, to not
- 1:22:43Speaker 3: get commercials on YouTube.
- 1:22:45Speaker 4: YouTube, yeah.
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: Like Greg's talking about getting the YouTube.
- 1:22:47Speaker 4: Considering it, yeah.
- 1:22:48Speaker 7: But the price for this is pretty crazy.
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: I don't even know how much it is.
- 1:22:53Speaker 7: The one that I saw, like a premium plan was
- 1:22:56Speaker 7: like $ 499 a month.
- 1:22:57Speaker 4: What? A month?
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: Wait, how much?
- 1:23:00Speaker 7: That's like a business one.
- 1:23:02Speaker 3: Oh, that's for business.
- 1:23:02Speaker 7: Yeah, but like a personal, like you could get it
- 1:23:05Speaker 7: for your account if you want.
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: Like how much is that? $ 499. No, not for personal.
- 1:23:10Speaker 7: This one says the lower tier.
- 1:23:12Speaker 11: It's like $ 1, 499.
- 1:23:14Speaker 3: There you go.
- 1:23:15Speaker 4: And what does it do?
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: Does it get you the blue checkmark? Because that's so important.
- 1:23:19Speaker 7: There's so many people now that have that.
- 1:23:22Speaker 3: Yeah, it doesn't even mean it. Remember, that seems so throwback.
- 1:23:26Speaker 3: It is throwback. When people were verified on Twitter, that
- 1:23:29Speaker 3: was a big deal. It was so helpful.
- 1:23:32Speaker 7: It was the best back then.
- 1:23:33Speaker 10: Instagram's doing this because it's been very successful for Snapchat.
- 1:23:36Speaker 10: I was listening to their founder talk about Snapchat Plus,
- 1:23:39Speaker 10: and they're making like $ 80 million a month just on
- 1:23:42Speaker 10: these little $ 4 subscribers. Where you get new access to features.
- 1:23:46Speaker 10: You get to basically beta test new things.
- 1:23:48Speaker 3: All right, so this is Instagram Plus. And one of
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: the new features is the stories feature. As a plus subscriber,
- 1:23:56Speaker 3: you can make yours last two days instead of one.
- 1:24:00Speaker 3: So when you post something in your stories, it's two
- 1:24:03Speaker 3: days instead of one and boost them in people's feeds. Also,
- 1:24:09Speaker 3: if you're an Instagram plus subscriber, you can, quote, preview
- 1:24:13Speaker 3: other people's stories without your view being logged. So you
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: can watch privately. And the other person wouldn't know... That
- 1:24:24Speaker 3: you saw it. Now here's this woman in her video
- 1:24:28Speaker 3: on this has gone viral and people are siding with her.
- 1:24:31Speaker 3: See what you think.
- 1:24:31Speaker 8: This is the thing that made me the most uncomfortable
- 1:24:35Speaker 8: in the last week and has made me not want
- 1:24:37Speaker 8: to use Instagram ever again. Basically what this feature does
- 1:24:40Speaker 8: is you can see the timestamp at which someone has
- 1:24:42Speaker 8: first watched your stories. You will see a number of
- 1:24:45Speaker 8: people whose timestamps change and they jump back to the top.
- 1:24:48Speaker 8: Maybe someone watched your story one hour ago. And then
- 1:24:51Speaker 8: some number of other people.
- 1:24:52Speaker 3: Watched her story.
- 1:24:53Speaker 8: And then they watched her story again one minute ago.
- 1:24:55Speaker 5: And again.
- 1:24:56Speaker 7: And again.
- 1:24:56Speaker 8: And all day long, you can watch as certain people's
- 1:24:59Speaker 8: names continue to jump to the top of your list.
- 1:25:02Speaker 4: Yeah. Okay. So, right.
- 1:25:03Speaker 7: I mean, you're putting it out there because you want
- 1:25:05Speaker 7: people to watch it.
- 1:25:07Speaker 3: Yeah, but, like, you're watching people stalk you, I guess
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: is what she's, you know. I almost noticed on this. Like,
- 1:25:13Speaker 3: you posted it to be seen.
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: I mean, it's always interesting to see who watched your story.
- 1:25:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:25:20Speaker 7: But, you know, for it to be hitting, I don't know,
- 1:25:23Speaker 7: that's kind of stupid. You're putting content in the world
- 1:25:26Speaker 7: to be seen.
- 1:25:27Speaker 4: If Gina watched my story, you know, an hour ago
- 1:25:31Speaker 4: and three minutes ago, I'd be flattered.
- 1:25:33Speaker 11: Yeah, I wanted to show it to somebody else. Oh,
- 1:25:35Speaker 11: and the Instagram Plus specifically is only $ 3. 99 a month.
- 1:25:39Speaker 11: The Meta verified is the $ 14.
- 1:25:40Speaker 3: 00. Okay.
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:25:42Speaker 3: So this is the same, like I said, Snapchat. There's
- 1:25:43Speaker 3: a lot of tiers.
- 1:25:44Speaker 7: Like I said, it goes all the way up to
- 1:25:46Speaker 7: $ 499 a month.
- 1:25:46Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's if you're a business or some kind of,
- 1:25:49Speaker 3: you know.
- 1:25:49Speaker 7: Yeah, super influencer.
- 1:25:50Speaker 4: Whatever account.
- 1:25:51Speaker 3: Specifically for business, yeah. Yeah. I'm with Greg. Dude, every
- 1:25:54Speaker 3: day that goes by, I'm more and more like Greg.
- 1:25:57Speaker 4: That you're looking forward to not using it.
- 1:25:59Speaker 3: Dude, who cares about any of it? And we have.
- 1:26:04Speaker 4: I don't.
- 1:26:05Speaker 3: We have like an official purpose.
- 1:26:07Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:26:08Speaker 3: For it. You know, just because of the stupid show.
- 1:26:11Speaker 3: But even still, it's like, all right, let's go back
- 1:26:14Speaker 3: to word of mouth on things that have to do
- 1:26:17Speaker 3: with the show. Hey, you're listening. Tell somebody. You have
- 1:26:23Speaker 3: maybe an additional chance to win if you tell somebody.
- 1:26:26Speaker 3: We'll hook you and your friend up. Because, man, Instagram,
- 1:26:31Speaker 3: social media, it doesn't matter which one it is. They're
- 1:26:34Speaker 3: all goofy. And you see all these.
- 1:26:38Speaker 3: You posted something about it, Gina. It showed up because you,
- 1:26:42Speaker 3: I think, liked it. Maybe liked it.
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:26:44Speaker 3: It was about the bot farms that are out there. Oh, yeah.
- 1:26:47Speaker 3: Those are fascinating. So between all the AI stuff, all
- 1:26:50Speaker 3: the bot farms, which are just loading up the comments
- 1:26:53Speaker 3: on everybody's stuff.
- 1:26:54Speaker 11: That's why you can't take anything seriously.
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: What's the point of any of it? It's like everybody's
- 1:26:58Speaker 3: been saying, it's not real life.
- 1:27:01Speaker 9: Nope.
- 1:27:01Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:27:02Speaker 3: So it's becoming, there's less and less redeeming value. To
- 1:27:06Speaker 3: all of these things.
- 1:27:07Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:27:07Speaker 11: And not only that, but when it talks about like
- 1:27:09Speaker 11: pushing your stories to a wider audience, like.
- 1:27:11Speaker 3: Who cares?
- 1:27:12Speaker 10: This is just me, but at my age, that seems embarrassing.
- 1:27:15Speaker 11: Like I should not care about that as a grown up.
- 1:27:18Speaker 3: For your line of business, you should care about it. Understood.
- 1:27:22Speaker 7: I just mean. If you're like a day-to-day person.
- 1:27:23Speaker 3: That's what I mean.
- 1:27:24Speaker 11: Like, it's just embarrassing to think like, did you guys
- 1:27:27Speaker 11: see what I ate today?
- 1:27:28Speaker 3: Like, I don't know.
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: Shut up.
- 1:27:30Speaker 7: Um, but they do have another cool feature that, uh,
- 1:27:34Speaker 7: like clickable, uh, reels where like, you can actually like
- 1:27:38Speaker 7: click to something else because that's always been like the
- 1:27:40Speaker 7: pain of like, when you record a video and say, Hey,
- 1:27:43Speaker 7: go to this website or go here, like directing somebody
- 1:27:46Speaker 7: verbally to go somewhere. This one, you can actually like
- 1:27:50Speaker 7: click on something. You're going to start seeing that a lot.
- 1:27:52Speaker 3: I'm just curious, like with the audience. So everybody who's listening, um,
- 1:27:56Speaker 3: the role that social media plays in your life right now,
- 1:28:00Speaker 3: do you think it's more or less, or the same
- 1:28:04Speaker 3: as it was, say, a year ago? Let's go like
- 1:28:08Speaker 3: one year. Let's look back one year. Would you say
- 1:28:11Speaker 3: that social media has become more important to you, less
- 1:28:15Speaker 3: important to you, or is it about the same as
- 1:28:17Speaker 3: it was a year ago? I'm reading more about with AI,
- 1:28:22Speaker 3: like people are engaging with social media less. Yeah, I
- 1:28:26Speaker 3: think they're just fatigued. And then the bots thing is
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: a real big turnoff. And so there's all these things
- 1:28:31Speaker 3: that people are, you know, They have a more negative
- 1:28:35Speaker 3: view on social media. Does it mean less to you
- 1:28:39Speaker 3: today more to you today or about the same as
- 1:28:42Speaker 3: it did a year ago for me I mean it's
- 1:28:44Speaker 3: way less.
- 1:28:45Speaker 4: Is your son a junior or a senior in high
- 1:28:47Speaker 4: school junior do they care about stuff like that.
- 1:28:51Speaker 3: Um I mean he sees stuff on there and they
- 1:28:54Speaker 3: share stuff but they're not like um They're not out
- 1:28:57Speaker 3: there recording their own content and doing things like that.
- 1:29:01Speaker 3: It's more of just like what people are sharing, like, yeah,
- 1:29:04Speaker 3: what their, what their friends are sharing funny things.
- 1:29:07Speaker 7: Everyone's going to say less, but then if they look
- 1:29:09Speaker 7: at their phone, like usage, it's going to be the same.
- 1:29:13Speaker 10: Well, I think we, there was, there were some data recently,
- 1:29:15Speaker 10: the show that I think we did have a dip
- 1:29:17Speaker 10: in usage for the first time ever, where it was
- 1:29:19Speaker 10: like going up, up, up, up, up. And it's kind
- 1:29:20Speaker 10: of like, it's kind of like plateaued or gone down
- 1:29:22Speaker 10: a little bit. And I think this is, I guess
- 1:29:24Speaker 10: it's going to be huge for, like we said, live
- 1:29:26Speaker 10: events and live theater, live comedy, live concerts. Cause you
- 1:29:31Speaker 10: could see any, you could see a shark playing, you know,
- 1:29:33Speaker 10: the banjo on my phone all day, but once you
- 1:29:36Speaker 10: see it for the 500th time, you're.
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: Like, all right, cool. Just give me something real. Yeah. Like, dude,
- 1:29:40Speaker 3: I would love nothing more for influencers, social media, just,
- 1:29:44Speaker 3: just all of it just to be over. Like, uh, it's,
- 1:29:48Speaker 3: it's kind of, um, it's a, it's a, it's a
- 1:29:50Speaker 3: depressing nostalgia when you think about how easier, how much
- 1:29:54Speaker 3: simpler things were.
- 1:29:56Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: Sure.
- 1:29:56Speaker 11: And I was just watching an Instagram video of this
- 1:29:58Speaker 11: girl going through all of the people on the red
- 1:30:00Speaker 11: carpet for the VMAs going, I've never.
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: Seen any of these people. I don't know who they are.
- 1:30:04Speaker 3: They're not stars.
- 1:30:05Speaker 10: They're influencers.
- 1:30:06Speaker 3: I don't know who they are. I did thing to
- 1:30:08Speaker 3: say every time.
- 1:30:12Speaker 11: But if you don't recognize him, you don't recognize him.
- 1:30:14Speaker 3: Right. I did see a funny video of the guys like,
- 1:30:16Speaker 3: all right, man. So, you know, he was doing a
- 1:30:18Speaker 3: bit about like, he was watching the VMAs and it
- 1:30:20Speaker 3: was time for the, you know, here's, here's the people
- 1:30:23Speaker 3: in the category. Here are the nominees.
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:30:25Speaker 3: And he's like, uh, that's how I feel about the
- 1:30:28Speaker 3: Emmys too. Like who, what is this? Or even the
- 1:30:31Speaker 3: Oscars for that matter.
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:30:32Speaker 4: A lot of movies you've never heard of.
- 1:30:34Speaker 10: Well, to both those points, there's real data for that too.
- 1:30:36Speaker 10: Like it's, Media is so fragmented. There's almost nothing we
- 1:30:39Speaker 10: all watch together anymore.
- 1:30:42Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:30:42Speaker 3: 877-44-WOODY. You can send us a text over to 22987.
- 1:30:46Speaker 3: We'll take a quick break. We'll come back. I'm seeing
- 1:30:50Speaker 3: like less, less, the same. Exactly the same. Means less.
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: Same.
- 1:30:57Speaker 3: Never did it. Never will. There you go. Especially with
- 1:31:00Speaker 3: the AI spreading.
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:31:01Speaker 3: Social media is garbage lately. I couldn't agree more with Woody.
- 1:31:05Speaker 3: It's also stupid.
- 1:31:06Speaker 4: Less, less, same. Yeah. Social media is good for wasting time.
- 1:31:11Speaker 3: Yeah, that's pretty much it.
- 1:31:13Speaker 4: Pretty accurate.
- 1:31:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm taking a dump. It's good. Yeah.
- 1:31:17Speaker 2: 877-44-WHAT.
- 1:31:17Speaker 3: He sent us what you think on that text over
- 1:31:19Speaker 3: to 22987.
- 1:31:21Speaker 4: I found myself recently telling myself in my head, God,
- 1:31:26Speaker 4: you're really happy. Like, I'm just really happy.
- 1:31:28Speaker 10: Oh, babe.
- 1:31:29Speaker 4: So I'm stoked that I'm happy. I'm stoked of how
- 1:31:33Speaker 4: my life is going. So yeah, overall, for sure.
- 1:31:37Speaker 3: There's elements of my life that are complete shame.
- 1:31:40Speaker 4: But... The Woody Show. We're late, babe. I'm kidding, Greg. Yeah.
- 1:31:48Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:31:51Speaker 3: All right, you want to hear this drunk guy singing us?
- 1:31:54Speaker 5: More than anything.
- 1:31:54Speaker 4: All right, all right.
- 1:31:55Speaker 3: After Hours voicemail. After the show, you can always leave
- 1:31:57Speaker 3: us a message, 877-44-WOODY. Hey, this is Kurt again with.
- 1:32:01Speaker 5: A C, though.
- 1:32:02Speaker 4: After dinner, I had.
- 1:32:07Speaker 2: Ice cream.
- 1:32:08Speaker 3: Ground day, we home.
- 1:32:10Speaker 2: Ground day, we home.
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: Ground day, we home.
- 1:32:13Speaker 2: After dinner, I had ice cream. Hello, kiddies. Hey, you
- 1:32:21Speaker 2: want to say anything on the radio station right now?
- 1:32:25Speaker 5: What now?
- 1:32:25Speaker 7: He's hammered.
- 1:32:26Speaker 3: Now he's asking his wife or girlfriend. Hey, you want
- 1:32:29Speaker 3: to say anything on the radio station?
- 1:32:31Speaker 5: What?
- 1:32:31Speaker 3: I got him on the line right now. She's like, what?
- 1:32:33Speaker 7: You're calling.
- 1:32:35Speaker 12: The radio station?
- 1:32:37Speaker 2: No, I'm on Woody's channel.
- 1:32:40Speaker 3: What else should I be?
- 1:32:44Speaker 4: I'll probably come as you are.
- 1:32:50Speaker 3: She's waiting for him to pass out. I like his cover.
- 1:32:55Speaker 4: Give me awards. Hell kicks out. Talk to you later.
- 1:32:59Speaker 9: Bye.
- 1:33:00Speaker 3: Killed it. All right. Oh, my God. She has to
- 1:33:03Speaker 3: get him upstairs.
- 1:33:04Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:33:05Speaker 10: Well, I'm hoping that's drunk dad or granddad as opposed
- 1:33:08Speaker 10: to husband.
- 1:33:08Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:33:09Speaker 3: Some sort of caretaker. How about this guy? This guy
- 1:33:15Speaker 3: had to get... He had a raccoon attack.
- 1:33:19Speaker 10: Oh, no.
- 1:33:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:33:20Speaker 2: Calling from Woody's home area. So this is about the
- 1:33:24Speaker 2: rabies thing. So I was attacked by a raccoon. Long
- 1:33:30Speaker 2: story short, he did not bite me, but he scratched
- 1:33:32Speaker 2: my leg open, and I had to get a bunch
- 1:33:35Speaker 2: of rabies shots. And I got the bill in the
- 1:33:37Speaker 2: mail because my workers didn't want to pay for it, apparently.
- 1:33:42Speaker 3: So in total, it was $ 33, 000.
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: What?
- 1:33:44Speaker 2: That was for an ER visit as well, but they
- 1:33:49Speaker 2: did eventually pay for it. It was $ 33, 000.
- 1:33:51Speaker 4: Was it $ 33, 000?
- 1:33:52Speaker 10: I don't believe it. I mean, you.
- 1:34:02Speaker 3: Know what, man?
- 1:34:03Speaker 11: The way they inflate those costs is crazy.
- 1:34:05Speaker 7: I mean, did he break bones or something?
- 1:34:06Speaker 3: Yeah. I know a lot of people, when you get
- 1:34:08Speaker 3: those bills, if you had to go to the emergency room.
- 1:34:11Speaker 3: But if you have the coverage.
- 1:34:13Speaker 2: Mm-hmm.
- 1:34:13Speaker 3: I skip all the other crap and I just look
- 1:34:16Speaker 3: across there and I try to skim and try to
- 1:34:18Speaker 3: find you owe.
- 1:34:20Speaker 4: Portion you owe.
- 1:34:20Speaker 11: Or if it says this is not a bill, throw
- 1:34:23Speaker 11: it away.
- 1:34:24Speaker 3: I don't want to see it. If it's just the
- 1:34:25Speaker 3: summary that they send you, those go right in the trash.
- 1:34:28Speaker 3: I don't even read those. Just break it down to
- 1:34:31Speaker 3: the part where I owe. That's what I want to see.
- 1:34:34Speaker 3: They can charge whatever they want because they know that
- 1:34:37Speaker 3: these insurance companies are just going to pay it. And
- 1:34:38Speaker 3: then the insurance company then turns around and just screws you. Yes.
- 1:34:42Speaker 3: Although what a great system. Although we're pretty close to where,
- 1:34:45Speaker 3: you know, the deductible is so high, you're going to
- 1:34:49Speaker 3: have to be in there for open heart surgery or
- 1:34:51Speaker 3: be in a coma for the insurance to ever do again. Yeah.
- 1:34:56Speaker 3: To do you any benefit?
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:34:58Speaker 4: That's the story of every year.
- 1:35:00Speaker 3: Basically. Well, it's open enrollment time here soon. Now, the
- 1:35:04Speaker 3: one thing that I think has been the best thing
- 1:35:06Speaker 3: ever is that pet insurance through the company. Yeah, I
- 1:35:10Speaker 3: have that, too.
- 1:35:10Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:35:11Speaker 3: Like the dog has only had regular routine stuff until
- 1:35:14Speaker 3: she crushed her knee and had to have that surgery.
- 1:35:17Speaker 3: And I think total out of pocket was like. 500 bucks.
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:35:22Speaker 3: As opposed to thousands. For everything. Well, because it was
- 1:35:25Speaker 3: for the surgery itself, but then it was for the
- 1:35:27Speaker 3: follow-up stuff. And so we got billed separately for that.
- 1:35:30Speaker 3: We submitted both. And total out of pocket for all that,
- 1:35:34Speaker 3: where the surgery was, let's call it $ 8, 000. We rounded up.
- 1:35:38Speaker 3: And then the other stuff was $ 1, 000. So $ 9, 000. We
- 1:35:42Speaker 3: were on the hook for $ 500.
- 1:35:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:35:43Speaker 3: And that's through our dumpy company coverage.
- 1:35:47Speaker 7: Horrible insurance.
- 1:35:48Speaker 3: Not even what Menace has with its healthy paws and stuff.
- 1:35:50Speaker 3: Healthy paws is great.
- 1:35:51Speaker 7: And they give you your money back right away.
- 1:35:54Speaker 3: Now, Menace, let me ask- Let me ask you a
- 1:35:57Speaker 3: question on the healthy pause thing, because you've had to submit,
- 1:35:59Speaker 3: and this is all separate of the company. It's not
- 1:36:01Speaker 3: through like the insurance that we have. So when you
- 1:36:04Speaker 3: do it separately and then you've had a claim. Yeah.
- 1:36:08Speaker 3: Did they raise the premium on you because you've had claims?
- 1:36:11Speaker 7: Not because of the claims, but by the age of
- 1:36:14Speaker 7: the dog. So it is progressively? I won't even try
- 1:36:19Speaker 7: to say that. As they get older, the price does
- 1:36:22Speaker 7: increase each month. Yeah, because a buddy of mine, he
- 1:36:26Speaker 7: had the insurance, never made a claim. And then once
- 1:36:28Speaker 7: he made the claim, the insurance just skyrocketed.
- 1:36:31Speaker 4: Oh, no.
- 1:36:32Speaker 3: Yeah, like.
- 1:36:34Speaker 7: Now that they're older, you know, 12 and 11, it's
- 1:36:37Speaker 7: insane the amount that I pay every month, but it
- 1:36:41Speaker 7: does cover a lot. And the vet bills are like
- 1:36:45Speaker 7: way more than what I'm paying a month.
- 1:36:46Speaker 3: So it's worth it.
- 1:36:48Speaker 4: So it's fine. Yes, Jeff.
- 1:36:49Speaker 12: I just went through that same thing. I think this
- 1:36:51Speaker 12: weekend alone, trying to get Sandy taken care of was
- 1:36:54Speaker 12: 10 grand. And then you add in, you know, the,
- 1:36:57Speaker 12: the cremation and people coming to, you know, you know,
- 1:37:01Speaker 12: You and I is like, man, and I have spot
- 1:37:04Speaker 12: pet insurance.
- 1:37:04Speaker 3: Is that the same that you have? We have Pets Best,
- 1:37:07Speaker 3: I think. Pets Best is the one that we offer
- 1:37:09Speaker 3: to the company.
- 1:37:10Speaker 12: I wish our insurance was one-tenth as good as the
- 1:37:13Speaker 12: pet insurance.
- 1:37:14Speaker 3: Oh, I know. Isn't that ironic?
- 1:37:15Speaker 12: Because, man, I got all my, you know, I submitted everything.
- 1:37:18Speaker 12: I had to take her off the insurance yesterday as well. And, man,
- 1:37:21Speaker 12: they were so great and just all our money comes
- 1:37:23Speaker 12: back so quickly.
- 1:37:24Speaker 7: It makes no mathematical sense to me, this pet insurance stuff,
- 1:37:28Speaker 7: because I feel like The amount that we pay versus
- 1:37:32Speaker 7: like how much these bills are. I would love to
- 1:37:35Speaker 7: talk to somebody that works for one.
- 1:37:36Speaker 3: Of these guys. How does the math work?
- 1:37:37Speaker 7: How does the math work where you make money?
- 1:37:39Speaker 9: Because there's plenty of people who don't end up needing
- 1:37:42Speaker 9: it who are still paying monthly. Like I was paying
- 1:37:44Speaker 9: for it for a long time, but it didn't cover
- 1:37:46Speaker 9: anything that I needed like dental and other stuff.
- 1:37:48Speaker 13: So I never used it and I was paying.
- 1:37:50Speaker 7: But I feel like with a pet, like once you
- 1:37:53Speaker 7: get hit with one bill, it's more than what you've
- 1:37:56Speaker 7: been paying the whole time.
- 1:37:56Speaker 3: It pays for itself. Seabass, let me ask you a question.
- 1:37:59Speaker 3: We out here. Let's say you have a pet. What
- 1:38:01Speaker 3: is the most you're willing to spend out of pocket
- 1:38:03Speaker 3: to preserve the life of that pet? We're all nuts.
- 1:38:06Speaker 3: Assuming that it has years ahead of it, right? Yeah,
- 1:38:09Speaker 3: that's a good question, Greg. It's not like a 14-year-old dog.
- 1:38:13Speaker 3: Let's say it's got at least another five years.
- 1:38:17Speaker 10: And it's that or going away.
- 1:38:20Speaker 3: Yeah. What's the pricing? Where would you draw the line?
- 1:38:23Speaker 3: How much?
- 1:38:24Speaker 10: The dog is six years old.
- 1:38:24Speaker 3: What's the threshold? And it's just me owning it, not
- 1:38:27Speaker 3: a wife? No, it's just you.
- 1:38:28Speaker 10: You and your best friend. A thousand.
- 1:38:30Speaker 3: Max, yeah. One thousand?
- 1:38:31Speaker 10: Yeah, because when we were growing up, cats.
- 1:38:34Speaker 3: Came and cats went.
- 1:38:35Speaker 10: And you could say, oh, these are just cats, blah, blah, blah, blah. Look,
- 1:38:39Speaker 10: you got to have a farm. Like, we all grew
- 1:38:41Speaker 10: up on farms not too long ago. All of our
- 1:38:44Speaker 10: ancestors were there. And it was part of the circle
- 1:38:46Speaker 10: of life.
- 1:38:46Speaker 3: And you just had to deal with it. Yeah, did
- 1:38:47Speaker 3: your grandfather have pets best? Healthy paws. He had a shotgun.
- 1:38:52Speaker 7: Was he paying hundreds of dollars a month for their
- 1:38:55Speaker 7: pet food?
- 1:38:56Speaker 3: Grandpa would have put you down for talking to him. Exactly.
- 1:38:59Speaker 3: He had shovel and station wagon. I mean, the movie
- 1:39:02Speaker 3: was Old Yeller, right? That's how you do it. 877-44-Woody.
- 1:39:07Speaker 3: Send us a text over to 22987. We'll be right back.
- 1:39:11Speaker 3: Your mom's box. By the way, it's conversations like this
- 1:39:14Speaker 3: which keep us from ever getting nominated for any kind
- 1:39:16Speaker 3: of industry award.
- 1:39:21Speaker 7: You got the cocaine hot sauce.
- 1:39:27Speaker 3: I just saw something about Target. I'm not a Target hater.
- 1:39:32Speaker 3: I don't like Target as much. The next person, I
- 1:39:34Speaker 3: don't love it as much as some people love it.
- 1:39:36Speaker 3: I pretty much go every other day.
- 1:39:37Speaker 4: It's a pilgrimage for most people.
- 1:39:40Speaker 3: Next time you go, take a look. I always thought
- 1:39:44Speaker 3: that their carts.
- 1:39:46Speaker 3: Were extra bulky. Yeah. They are. They're clunky. Kind of clunky.
- 1:39:51Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:39:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:39:52Speaker 7: Well, apparently they're pretty teched out.
- 1:39:55Speaker 9: Really?
- 1:39:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:39:56Speaker 3: And they are.
- 1:39:56Speaker 4: Plastic cheap cards.
- 1:39:58Speaker 3: Yeah. And they are tracking everything.
- 1:40:01Speaker 5: Really? Yeah.
- 1:40:01Speaker 3: There was a whole thing about like they've added stuff
- 1:40:04Speaker 3: to the baskets now at Target. According to this report,
- 1:40:08Speaker 3: they've added some like sensors so it knows what aisle
- 1:40:11Speaker 3: you're in. And there's all sorts of stuff in the
- 1:40:13Speaker 3: ceiling so it knows where you've stopped and where you're
- 1:40:15Speaker 3: now loitering and taking more of a look at something.
- 1:40:18Speaker 3: And it also communicates with your target app to get
- 1:40:22Speaker 3: more of your other preferences. And that combined with the
- 1:40:26Speaker 3: digital price tags that are on shelves and stuff now.
- 1:40:29Speaker 3: And so it'll kind of already know. So before you
- 1:40:31Speaker 3: even walk down that aisle, as you're approaching, you can
- 1:40:34Speaker 3: change the price. That's insane. So that's going to go
- 1:40:37Speaker 3: against everything Greg's been standing on.
- 1:40:39Speaker 4: That's terrible.
- 1:40:39Speaker 3: Well, the price on the shelf said X, Y, Z.
- 1:40:41Speaker 3: You must honor it. And that's the thing. By the
- 1:40:44Speaker 3: time you get to it. It did change from the
- 1:40:46Speaker 3: time that you picked it up off the shelf to
- 1:40:48Speaker 3: the time you got to the cash register. Wait, but
- 1:40:50Speaker 3: just for you?
- 1:40:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:40:52Speaker 3: Oh, hell no. And then you walk away and it
- 1:40:54Speaker 3: goes back to- I've never heard this term. I've heard
- 1:40:57Speaker 3: dynamic pricing before. I've not heard this term. It's called
- 1:41:00Speaker 3: surveillance pricing.
- 1:41:01Speaker 10: Oh, that's wonderful.
- 1:41:02Speaker 3: Now, Target's just one example. I'm sure there's a lot
- 1:41:05Speaker 3: more companies up there doing this. Is this something they're
- 1:41:08Speaker 3: testing at a location? There's no way it's live at
- 1:41:11Speaker 3: a location. Great question. Like I said, it's been a
- 1:41:13Speaker 3: minute since I've been to a Target. I'm going to
- 1:41:14Speaker 3: take a look the next time. But on the basket,
- 1:41:17Speaker 3: at least, in this video, the guy was showing it's
- 1:41:19Speaker 3: on the side. It looks like just a little... Red
- 1:41:23Speaker 3: boxy kind of like almost like a battery compartment. And
- 1:41:26Speaker 3: then on some of the carts, it was talking about,
- 1:41:30Speaker 3: you know, like, you know, the difference. So it'll know
- 1:41:33Speaker 3: what aisle you're in. Also, you don't even have to
- 1:41:36Speaker 3: have the Target app for it to be able to
- 1:41:39Speaker 3: figure out because you're going to certain areas of the store, right?
- 1:41:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:41:43Speaker 11: And according to, I'm just looking at a video now, too,
- 1:41:45Speaker 11: it goes to the baskets, too.
- 1:41:46Speaker 3: That's what I was just talking about three times.
- 1:41:48Speaker 10: No, I'm sorry.
- 1:41:50Speaker 3: It's the handpatch. I was just talking about the cart. Yeah,
- 1:41:52Speaker 3: that's what I mean. Yeah, that's what I said. Now
- 1:41:54Speaker 3: they've added those to the baskets.
- 1:41:56Speaker 6: Okay.
- 1:41:56Speaker 3: I thought you meant the basket where you put the kid.
- 1:41:59Speaker 3: So the surveillance pricing is you're just tracking online behavior.
- 1:42:05Speaker 3: And then using demographic data to figure out the exact
- 1:42:08Speaker 3: maximum price that you would be willing to pay. Oh,
- 1:42:11Speaker 3: hell no. Meaning two people can look at the identical
- 1:42:14Speaker 3: thing at the exact same second and get completely different prices.
- 1:42:17Speaker 3: And there are people, if you go online, type in
- 1:42:19Speaker 3: surveillance pricing, and there are people who are sitting right
- 1:42:22Speaker 3: next to each other doing the exact same thing. Like,
- 1:42:24Speaker 3: all right, let's get an Uber ride from this place
- 1:42:27Speaker 3: to this place. One person will have one price. The
- 1:42:30Speaker 3: next person has a completely different price, like 30% cheaper
- 1:42:33Speaker 3: or 30% more expensive.
- 1:42:35Speaker 7: This is what they've been accusing the airlines of doing
- 1:42:37Speaker 7: for years.
- 1:42:39Speaker 1: Sure.
- 1:42:39Speaker 3: But it's like in the moment, right there, right next
- 1:42:41Speaker 3: to each other as you're doing it. There was one.
- 1:42:45Speaker 7: If it's Uber, they definitely got all my money because
- 1:42:47Speaker 7: they know I don't care. I just want to get
- 1:42:49Speaker 7: it out of there.
- 1:42:49Speaker 3: And then Uber or Lyft, I forget which one it was,
- 1:42:52Speaker 3: if you were using an American Express card, you automatically
- 1:42:56Speaker 3: had a higher price. Oh, yeah.
- 1:42:57Speaker 7: We talked about that before.
- 1:42:58Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:42:58Speaker 10: And by the way, before we get all mad about this,
- 1:43:02Speaker 10: this helps poor people because they will lower prices if
- 1:43:07Speaker 10: they can tell you're poor by how you behave, which
- 1:43:09Speaker 10: they can. they will lower your price. Because they want
- 1:43:12Speaker 10: you to still buy something. Like the women were just
- 1:43:13Speaker 10: saying with the Amex card, that's a higher priced person.
- 1:43:16Speaker 10: So yeah, this actually, this hurts middle to upper middle.
- 1:43:19Speaker 10: Quite frankly, this hurts the upper middle class more than anybody.
- 1:43:21Speaker 3: So feel bad for us.
- 1:43:23Speaker 7: Before you get mad at it.
- 1:43:26Speaker 10: Actually, and they've done studies of this, it will overall
- 1:43:29Speaker 10: lower prices for poor people compared to the middle class
- 1:43:31Speaker 10: or richer person.
- 1:43:32Speaker 7: Because they want the sale.
- 1:43:33Speaker 4: Right. So now what if you don't use a cart
- 1:43:36Speaker 4: or a basket? You just walk in and unswitchable. That's
- 1:43:41Speaker 4: just one example of this type of thing. But the
- 1:43:44Speaker 4: other one is Greg, like if you and I both
- 1:43:46Speaker 4: went on our phone to walmart.com, we typed in the
- 1:43:49Speaker 4: exact same item. It might be a different price based
- 1:43:53Speaker 4: on whatever it already has, you know, or whatever it's
- 1:43:55Speaker 4: using for you and whatever it knows and whatever it's
- 1:43:59Speaker 4: using for me, we would get two different prices on
- 1:44:02Speaker 4: the exact same, which is kind of what I'm, I wonder,
- 1:44:05Speaker 4: you know, Gina, we were talking about that, um, that
- 1:44:08Speaker 4: dry cleaning spot removal thing.
- 1:44:11Speaker 5: Yes, I'm obsessed.
- 1:44:11Speaker 3: And you said, hey, I sent her the link to
- 1:44:15Speaker 3: the exact same one that I used to buy for $ 24.
- 1:44:20Speaker 9: 95.
- 1:44:20Speaker 3: And the price that she was getting on it was $ 36.
- 1:44:23Speaker 10: And I was like, this is kind of expensive.
- 1:44:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:44:28Speaker 7: And you know how I always like to figure out
- 1:44:31Speaker 7: around things. And let's say, Greg, you're like, well, what
- 1:44:35Speaker 7: about if, you know, I bring in a tote and
- 1:44:37Speaker 7: I do all this stuff.
- 1:44:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:44:38Speaker 7: Greg, I'll get you on facial recognition. The moment that
- 1:44:41Speaker 7: you walk in, scan your face.
- 1:44:43Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:44:44Speaker 7: And then when you go to the self-checkout, it's already
- 1:44:46Speaker 7: scanning your face again. And they're like, well, this is Gregori.
- 1:44:49Speaker 7: Hate his demeanor.
- 1:44:49Speaker 3: What if we wore a hat and sunglasses?
- 1:44:53Speaker 9: Well, if you have the app on your phone and
- 1:44:54Speaker 9: your phone's in your pocket, it's probably tracking you too.
- 1:44:57Speaker 4: I don't have the Target app.
- 1:44:59Speaker 3: Greg, just go to Walmart.com. Let's see what it does.
- 1:45:03Speaker 4: On my phone or on my computer?
- 1:45:04Speaker 3: On your phone.
- 1:45:04Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:45:06Speaker 3: Just go to Walmart.com. And then at the top, don't
- 1:45:11Speaker 3: hit enter yet. Just type in Tide. See what it says. Okay,
- 1:45:15Speaker 3: so don't hit enter yet.
- 1:45:16Speaker 4: In the search?
- 1:45:17Speaker 14: Yep.
- 1:45:18Speaker 3: What is it bringing up? Because mine at the top
- 1:45:20Speaker 3: says Tide Selections, Tide Tile Detergent, Tide Simply, Tide Pods, right?
- 1:45:26Speaker 4: Yeah, the top.
- 1:45:26Speaker 3: Yeah, Tide Tile Detergent, Tide Simply, Tide Pods. Click the
- 1:45:30Speaker 3: Tile Detergent.
- 1:45:31Speaker 4: Okay, Tile Detergent.
- 1:45:33Speaker 7: All right.
- 1:45:34Speaker 3: Now, the first thing it brings up, what does it say?
- 1:45:36Speaker 3: Tide Laundry Detergent Liquid, right?
- 1:45:38Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:45:39Speaker 4: Rollback price, now $ 17.
- 1:45:40Speaker 9: 94.
- 1:45:40Speaker 4: It's the same.
- 1:45:41Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what mine says. Yeah, it's the same. I
- 1:45:46Speaker 3: got that, too.
- 1:45:46Speaker 7: Okay.
- 1:45:48Speaker 4: And the top one below that, $ 19.
- 1:45:49Speaker 3: 94.
- 1:45:50Speaker 4: We're going to.
- 1:45:51Speaker 11: Do this on every store that we can think of.
- 1:45:54Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:45:55Speaker 7: Yeah, but are you all on the same Wi-Fi, the
- 1:45:57Speaker 7: same IP? Yeah, probably, yeah.
- 1:45:59Speaker 4: Sure.
- 1:45:59Speaker 3: I don't know. Ask Greg. Yeah, he's the one that's
- 1:46:02Speaker 3: going to know. What's the title of the one below that, Greg?
- 1:46:05Speaker 10: Is it Tide Pods 3 in 1 original?
- 1:46:08Speaker 3: I haven't seen these tiles before. What are these tiles?
- 1:46:11Speaker 3: Evo laundry detergent tiles and then Tide Evo laundry detergent tiles. Yeah.
- 1:46:16Speaker 3: I've not seen these tiles before. So they're like they're square?
- 1:46:19Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:46:19Speaker 3: They look like little maxi pads.
- 1:46:21Speaker 4: They look like pieces of gum.
- 1:46:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:46:22Speaker 3: Or something like that. Yeah. It's all Tide Evo laundry tiles.
- 1:46:26Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:46:27Speaker 3: But yeah, just something is like, you know, you mentioned
- 1:46:29Speaker 3: for flights, hotels. It's happened to me recently where I'm
- 1:46:34Speaker 3: trying to book a hotel. And then you go through
- 1:46:37Speaker 3: almost the entire process and it goes, oh, sorry, something
- 1:46:39Speaker 3: went wrong.
- 1:46:40Speaker 11: Every time.
- 1:46:41Speaker 3: Try again. And then when you go to try again,
- 1:46:43Speaker 3: now it's higher. It's like another 30 bucks. Yeah. Like
- 1:46:45Speaker 3: they gave you the error code.
- 1:46:46Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:46:47Speaker 3: And then you go back in and the same exact thing.
- 1:46:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:46:50Speaker 3: Okay. Friday, checking out Sunday, you know, regular king room.
- 1:46:56Speaker 3: And then the price is $ 40 more.
- 1:46:59Speaker 4: Because they know you want it.
- 1:47:01Speaker 3: Yeah, and they just gave you the error code. Like, oh,
- 1:47:05Speaker 3: those bastards are bad.
- 1:47:06Speaker 11: Is there going to be a bill against this Target thing, though?
- 1:47:09Speaker 3: Because that's insane. Probably not. Dynamic pricing has been going on,
- 1:47:13Speaker 3: like everybody mentioned, for a long time. I get that,
- 1:47:16Speaker 3: but this is the next level. To the next level, right.
- 1:47:18Speaker 3: No one's forcing you to buy it, though.
- 1:47:20Speaker 13: No, but you'd have to, like, once you get to
- 1:47:21Speaker 13: the register, go, wait, how.
- 1:47:22Speaker 3: Much was that?
- 1:47:23Speaker 5: Never mind. Wait, how much was that?
- 1:47:25Speaker 3: Oh, maybe it's to cut down on the Gregs.
- 1:47:28Speaker 10: The weights and balances?
- 1:47:30Speaker 3: The guy who's going to like, well, on the shelf
- 1:47:31Speaker 3: it said X, Y, Z. Because if the price is
- 1:47:33Speaker 3: constantly changing, again, what's to say that the price didn't
- 1:47:38Speaker 3: change from the time that you picked it up until
- 1:47:40Speaker 3: the time it got to the register? They could say
- 1:47:42Speaker 3: whatever they want. It gets them off the hook for
- 1:47:44Speaker 3: these big fines.
- 1:47:45Speaker 9: Yeah, but you're going to have more people at the
- 1:47:47Speaker 9: register saying, never mind, I don't want that.
- 1:47:49Speaker 10: Right, because people will start taking photos and videos and
- 1:47:51Speaker 10: the bad PR will not be worth it.
- 1:47:55Speaker 3: That's true. And Greg would be the one who would
- 1:47:58Speaker 3: videotape every time he'd pick something off the shelf. You're
- 1:48:00Speaker 3: a folk hero.
- 1:48:01Speaker 4: Expecting the price to be what it's labeled as is
- 1:48:04Speaker 4: not outrageous.
- 1:48:05Speaker 9: Yeah, and that's assuming that people walked in without a
- 1:48:08Speaker 9: budget that they need.
- 1:48:08Speaker 5: To be at.
- 1:48:09Speaker 10: Yeah, that's just totally unethical.
- 1:48:11Speaker 7: Just set a price.
- 1:48:12Speaker 3: We talk about like restaurants that add the fee for, oh,
- 1:48:15Speaker 3: so we can offer our workers. Just put it into
- 1:48:18Speaker 3: the price.
- 1:48:19Speaker 10: Yeah, I don't need to know everything.
- 1:48:20Speaker 7: Exactly.
- 1:48:21Speaker 11: And this just seems so, and I get it, it
- 1:48:23Speaker 11: adds up. It's a place like Target, but it's so
- 1:48:25Speaker 11: nickel and diming. Like, what could the difference possibly be?
- 1:48:28Speaker 3: Oh, it's just fractions of a penny. But those fractions
- 1:48:31Speaker 3: of a penny over time.
- 1:48:31Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:48:33Speaker 11: Thank you.
- 1:48:34Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying, Michael Bolton?
- 1:48:36Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:48:37Speaker 2: The Woody Show.
- 1:48:40Speaker 3: All right, let's see if Greg can answer your question, Gina.
- 1:48:43Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:48:45Speaker 3: This is a clip that's been going around. It's a
- 1:48:50Speaker 3: car commercial, if you want to explain it, Gina.
- 1:48:53Speaker 11: It's this clip that I've seen a million people share.
- 1:48:57Speaker 11: As far as I know, it's real. She's explaining the
- 1:48:59Speaker 11: new features of this particular car. And for the first
- 1:49:03Speaker 11: couple sentences, nobody can figure out what she's saying. Now,
- 1:49:06Speaker 11: I happen to eventually have figured it out, but I'd
- 1:49:09Speaker 11: like you to hear it.
- 1:49:09Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:49:09Speaker 3: You guys ready? Let me get rid of this thing here.
- 1:49:13Speaker 3: And let's pay attention and see if we can figure
- 1:49:15Speaker 3: it out.
- 1:49:16Speaker 5: This isn't just any R & F. This one has
- 1:49:18Speaker 5: captain's chairs.
- 1:49:20Speaker 6: Each captain's chair features a folding armrest that stows perfectly flush.
- 1:49:24Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:49:24Speaker 3: So the first. It's this part.
- 1:49:28Speaker 7: This isn't any.
- 1:49:30Speaker 5: Any.
- 1:49:31Speaker 7: Whatever the car name is.
- 1:49:32Speaker 5: This one has captain's chairs.
- 1:49:33Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:49:34Speaker 3: So that one, captain's chairs. I got that part.
- 1:49:36Speaker 4: This one has captain's chairs.
- 1:49:37Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:49:38Speaker 3: So we understood captain's chairs.
- 1:49:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:49:40Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:49:40Speaker 7: But in the beginning.
- 1:49:41Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:49:42Speaker 3: This isn't.
- 1:49:42Speaker 5: This isn't just any R & F.
- 1:49:44Speaker 4: This isn't just any.
- 1:49:46Speaker 3: Arminus? Arminus.
- 1:49:47Speaker 4: Arminus?
- 1:49:48Speaker 5: Fifth isn't just any Arminus.
- 1:49:51Speaker 4: Arminus isn't just.
- 1:49:52Speaker 3: Armrest?
- 1:49:54Speaker 8: Oh.
- 1:49:55Speaker 2: Is it Armrest?
- 1:49:55Speaker 3: Sammy. Because she goes then into Captain's Chair. Let's hear
- 1:49:59Speaker 3: that again.
- 1:49:59Speaker 7: That might be it.
- 1:50:01Speaker 5: Fifth isn't just any Arminus. This one has Captain's Chair.
- 1:50:04Speaker 1: No.
- 1:50:05Speaker 4: Arminus.
- 1:50:05Speaker 3: No, that's not Armrest.
- 1:50:07Speaker 11: Now, the name of the car, should I tell you?
- 1:50:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:50:10Speaker 3: Is the Rivian.
- 1:50:12Speaker 11: And everyone in the comments says she's saying.
- 1:50:13Speaker 3: Well, Rivian is the manufacturer, right?
- 1:50:14Speaker 11: Yeah, this isn't any Rivian. This one has captain's chairs.
- 1:50:17Speaker 11: But I hear an S in there, too.
- 1:50:20Speaker 3: No.
- 1:50:20Speaker 7: That's supposed to be Rivian?
- 1:50:21Speaker 11: That's... That's what everyone's saying in the comments. This isn't
- 1:50:25Speaker 11: any of my bad.
- 1:50:27Speaker 3: You saw the commercial? At any point, did she lick
- 1:50:30Speaker 3: the windows?
- 1:50:32Speaker 11: No, I was definitely watching for that. And then I
- 1:50:35Speaker 11: was like, is this AI? And did they just lick?
- 1:50:37Speaker 3: And this got approved by anybody?
- 1:50:39Speaker 11: I've seen the entire commercial. I can send it to you.
- 1:50:42Speaker 5: This isn't just any R & S.
- 1:50:45Speaker 7: That is not.
- 1:50:47Speaker 5: This isn't just any R & S. No.
- 1:50:50Speaker 4: This is interesting.
- 1:50:51Speaker 3: Almost like Armistice Day?
- 1:50:55Speaker 7: I mean, again, going back to, she's talking about chairs
- 1:50:59Speaker 7: in Armistice.
- 1:51:01Speaker 13: It's the only thing that makes logical sense.
- 1:51:03Speaker 3: Her voice is annoying. I don't know why they picked
- 1:51:04Speaker 3: her to do the... Is she a person that we
- 1:51:07Speaker 3: otherwise know, or is she supposed.
- 1:51:09Speaker 11: To be some kind of influencer? I'm not convinced that
- 1:51:12Speaker 11: she's real.
- 1:51:13Speaker 3: Like, it's just so strange.
- 1:51:15Speaker 5: This isn't just any R & F. This one has
- 1:51:17Speaker 5: captain's chairs.
- 1:51:18Speaker 6: Each captain's chair features a folding arm.
- 1:51:20Speaker 3: I know some guys think it's hot. I am not
- 1:51:22Speaker 3: one of the guys who thinks that women, grown women,
- 1:51:26Speaker 3: who have little girl voices, like, that's weird. I think
- 1:51:30Speaker 3: it's weird when dudes think it's hot when a chick
- 1:51:33Speaker 3: has a little girl voice. It's just so, I don't know, dude. Yeah,
- 1:51:38Speaker 3: I'm with you. Now, the same, fully shaved, fine. Because
- 1:51:40Speaker 3: when people make that argument saying, oh, well, that's really weird. No, no,
- 1:51:44Speaker 3: you're thinking about it that way. But it's weird when
- 1:51:47Speaker 3: they sound like a.
- 1:51:49Speaker 4: Right. There's no way that says Rivian.
- 1:51:52Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:51:53Speaker 4: I don't think it even says armrest.
- 1:51:55Speaker 3: What is the word? It's not armrest. What is the word?
- 1:51:59Speaker 7: Where do you find this commercial?
- 1:52:00Speaker 3: Here, I'm pulling up.
- 1:52:02Speaker 5: This isn't just any R & F. This one has
- 1:52:04Speaker 5: captain's chairs.
- 1:52:07Speaker 3: And someone else points out the vocal fry also.
- 1:52:10Speaker 10: That goes without saying.
- 1:52:12Speaker 4: Just a legit speech impediment.
- 1:52:14Speaker 10: Yeah, and it's like literally swallowed like five marbles.
- 1:52:18Speaker 3: And you know, it's not live. You can do another take. Oh, absolutely.
- 1:52:21Speaker 3: Do as many as you want. See, I thought the
- 1:52:23Speaker 3: question was, what was she saying? And it was captain's chairs.
- 1:52:29Speaker 3: Have you never heard of captain's chairs?
- 1:52:31Speaker 10: Like the single chairs.
- 1:52:32Speaker 3: Can you make this out, CMS?
- 1:52:33Speaker 10: Yeah, this is on Rivian's official YouTube page.
- 1:52:37Speaker 3: I believe it's the R1S.
- 1:52:39Speaker 7: R1S?
- 1:52:39Speaker 4: Rivian R1S.
- 1:52:40Speaker 3: Rivian R1S. Right, which you're also assuming that... Oh, that sounds... Okay,
- 1:52:45Speaker 3: let's all think R1S. Okay, everyone think R1S. Everybody... Well,
- 1:52:48Speaker 3: not if you're driving. Let's think Rivian R1S when we
- 1:52:54Speaker 3: hear it.
- 1:52:54Speaker 4: Here we go.
- 1:52:55Speaker 5: This isn't just any R1S.
- 1:52:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:52:58Speaker 10: R1S.
- 1:52:59Speaker 3: It's not just any R1S. Driving me insane.
- 1:53:01Speaker 4: But still.
- 1:53:01Speaker 3: It's not just any R1S.
- 1:53:03Speaker 11: We shouldn't be working this hard to figure that out.
- 1:53:06Speaker 3: Wow. And that's Captain's chair. And that's Captain's chair. Captain's chair.
- 1:53:12Speaker 10: She looks like some magic, like the, what's her, Million
- 1:53:15Speaker 10: Dollar Baby. Oh, Hilary Swank. Yeah, or Jennifer Garner, like
- 1:53:18Speaker 10: that sort of look.
- 1:53:19Speaker 7: Hey, you guys.
- 1:53:20Speaker 3: Captain's chairs.
- 1:53:21Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:53:22Speaker 7: It's amazing.
- 1:53:23Speaker 5: This one has captain's chairs.
- 1:53:24Speaker 7: That's captain's chairs.
- 1:53:25Speaker 4: It's strange. That's the worst.
- 1:53:27Speaker 3: You can swivel and swear.
- 1:53:28Speaker 5: Ooh, look at me.
- 1:53:29Speaker 3: I'm spinning in my captain's chair. And then one of
- 1:53:31Speaker 3: them is going steady.
- 1:53:32Speaker 4: It's got armrests.
- 1:53:33Speaker 3: It's got armrests.
- 1:53:33Speaker 11: And then she's talking about putting the car seat in.
- 1:53:36Speaker 11: And then she goes, I'm your kid doctor.
- 1:53:38Speaker 2: We're old.
- 1:53:38Speaker 11: And they don't need a car seat.
- 1:53:39Speaker 5: What's that like?
- 1:53:41Speaker 4: Are you serious?
- 1:53:41Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:53:42Speaker 4: Hold on.
- 1:53:42Speaker 5: This isn't just any R & F. This one has
- 1:53:45Speaker 5: captain's chairs.
- 1:53:47Speaker 6: Each captain's chair features a folding armrest that still is
- 1:53:49Speaker 6: perfectly flush when not in use, and a cup holder
- 1:53:52Speaker 6: that's just the press away. They're also heated, easy to
- 1:53:54Speaker 6: fold flat, and have car seat tie-downs. If you've got
- 1:53:57Speaker 6: little ones like I do, this pass-through makes it easy
- 1:53:59Speaker 6: to get to the third row without uninstalling these. Now,
- 1:54:03Speaker 6: if your passengers have graduated from car seats, first off,
- 1:54:06Speaker 6: what's that like?
- 1:54:07Speaker 5: And second, what's it like?
- 1:54:09Speaker 3: It's just bizarre. It's just bizarre.
- 1:54:12Speaker 7: I hear now, though. This isn't any Rivian RS.
- 1:54:16Speaker 9: R1S.
- 1:54:16Speaker 10: Yeah, she doesn't even say Rivian.
- 1:54:19Speaker 7: No, I hear her saying Rivian now.
- 1:54:21Speaker 3: You do?
- 1:54:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:54:22Speaker 4: Not in the beginning.
- 1:54:23Speaker 10: It's like three needle brainstorm.
- 1:54:24Speaker 3: This isn't any Rivian. All I hear is this isn't
- 1:54:28Speaker 3: just any R1S.
- 1:54:29Speaker 5: This isn't just any R1S.
- 1:54:31Speaker 3: This isn't just any R1S.
- 1:54:32Speaker 10: Yeah, that's what the captions on YouTube find.
- 1:54:34Speaker 3: This isn't just any R1S.
- 1:54:35Speaker 5: This isn't just any R1S. Yeah.
- 1:54:38Speaker 3: I don't have really.
- 1:54:38Speaker 11: If we're talking about this specific thing you're selling, feel
- 1:54:41Speaker 11: free to enunciate.
- 1:54:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:54:42Speaker 10: And also we don't know what an R1S is.
- 1:54:43Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:54:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:54:45Speaker 3: Oh, what?
- 1:54:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:54:45Speaker 3: Grandfather didn't have one. He worked down in the garage.
- 1:54:48Speaker 7: Yeah. But it's not. It's not an audio commercial.
- 1:54:51Speaker 4: It's video.
- 1:54:51Speaker 3: So you're watching.
- 1:54:52Speaker 10: We're watching.
- 1:54:53Speaker 3: We still don't know.
- 1:54:54Speaker 10: Wait.
- 1:54:54Speaker 3: There's video.
- 1:54:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:54:56Speaker 7: But he's just saying.
- 1:54:57Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:54:57Speaker 3: You don't know what an R1S is.
- 1:54:59Speaker 4: I know.
- 1:55:00Speaker 2: But I'm.
- 1:55:00Speaker 11: Everyone is literally watching the same commercial without closed caption
- 1:55:03Speaker 11: and does not know what the word is.
- 1:55:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:55:07Speaker 3: I gotta see this. Her teeth are hella big. It
- 1:55:11Speaker 3: looks like any old car commercial. Lower budget, I would say, maybe.
- 1:55:14Speaker 3: Miss Rivian Chick's voice is so annoying, I hate her. Yeah,
- 1:55:18Speaker 3: it's bizarre. She kind of sounds like the voice that
- 1:55:20Speaker 3: Tom Segura does in his stand-up. That is true. I
- 1:55:22Speaker 3: was thinking the same exact thing. 877-44-WOODY. Well, you know what?
- 1:55:26Speaker 7: Mystery solved.

- 1:57:02Speaker 3: than what it actually has. Yeah.
- 1:57:04Speaker 4: And this resonated with me.
- 1:57:05Speaker 3: And that is good, too. I like that a lot.
- 1:57:06Speaker 4: Ricky Gervais rules. He does.
