- 0:08Speaker 1: free wide receivers now in motion as pumpers left to right,
- 0:11Speaker 1: Julius Jones were single setback Matt pump fakes looking at
- 0:14Speaker 1: the goal line. He throws it into the end zone. Touchdown.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Say Hawks, it's Michael Bumpas with a diving catch in
- 0:21Speaker 1: the end zone. Our ten yard touchdown reception for Puppus
- 0:25Speaker 1: and the kid out of Washington State has found himself
- 0:28Speaker 1: a place on this team. Powered by Seahawks dot Com.
- 0:33Speaker 1: What I post this is Michael Bumpus along with my
- 0:35Speaker 1: producer Nasa cholby Hawk Talk Preview Week thirteen. The Sea
- 0:39Speaker 1: Hawks face the Vikings on the Monday Night football, but
- 0:42Speaker 1: we cannot start this episode. What I'll recognizing that Thanksgiving
- 0:46Speaker 1: was yesterday? How was your Thanksgiving? Sir? Thanksgiving was great, man.
- 0:49Speaker 1: My sister flew in town from New York. Cant seen
- 0:51Speaker 1: her for about a year and a half, so it
- 0:53Speaker 1: drove up to my uncle's house, a bunch of family
- 0:55Speaker 1: in there. I got two young nieces who just been
- 0:59Speaker 1: alive weeks. So some twin time. It was good, and
- 1:03Speaker 1: then drove all over the state of Washington. So I'm
- 1:05Speaker 1: a little tired, but it's all good. I'm still full.
- 1:07Speaker 1: I try to get a little work out this morning
- 1:08Speaker 1: to run off some of that food. But now was
- 1:10Speaker 1: good out with you, it was it was good. You know,
- 1:12Speaker 1: my wife has some family in town. They rolled about
- 1:14Speaker 1: thirty to forty deep and the the Herika side of
- 1:17Speaker 1: the family. But it was good. Can't complained. The family
- 1:19Speaker 1: stayed in town. They were gonna leave, so it was
- 1:21Speaker 1: nice to keep tradition going. And uh yeah, thankful for
- 1:24Speaker 1: another day. Another Seahawk Preview edition, Week thirteen. Let's get it.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Let's go big game this week. Now, big game this week.
- 1:33Speaker 1: We'll just jump right into. We've got some injury updates
- 1:35Speaker 1: a little later edition of Hawk Talk this week after
- 1:38Speaker 1: with the Thanksgiving holiday, But Pete Carroll did step to
- 1:40Speaker 1: the podium this week gave it up date on Tyler Locket.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Tyler Locket, as we know, hasn't really been one hundred percent.
- 1:46Speaker 1: He had to stay back in San Francisco for a
- 1:48Speaker 1: couple of days in the hospital. They got his leg right.
- 1:50Speaker 1: He did play against the Eagles, but this is a
- 1:52Speaker 1: pizza update. On Tyler, it was really good now it
- 1:55Speaker 1: was It wasn't you know me, it wasn't maybe one
- 1:57Speaker 1: hundred percent, you know, even though he could run and
- 1:59Speaker 1: play and all that. He just feels better now. So, um,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I think it's gonna take all the way to Monday
- 2:04Speaker 1: to really kind of put it in the review mirror.
- 2:06Speaker 1: But he's in good shape. He looked really good today.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Outside of Tyler, we also got Luke Wilson. He's been
- 2:11Speaker 1: dealing with a hamstring. He's been out for a couple
- 2:13Speaker 1: of weeks. But Luke, as Pete always talks about incredible healer.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Uh I really sure what that means, but he plays
- 2:19Speaker 1: through injuries that other people haven't been able to come
- 2:22Speaker 1: back from. And this is Pete's update on him. Luke
- 2:24Speaker 1: is trying to pull pull it off now. He's he's
- 2:27Speaker 1: he is as aggressively approaching it as you can do it,
- 2:31Speaker 1: you know, and uh, he's gonna trying to prove that
- 2:33Speaker 1: he can play this week. So we'll see how it goes.
- 2:35Speaker 1: Trainers are trying to hold him back and you know,
- 2:37Speaker 1: going too far too soon, but that's how Luke does it.
- 2:40Speaker 1: And Luke has been remarkable over the over the years
- 2:42Speaker 1: and so I wouldn't count him out, and then of
- 2:45Speaker 1: course i'd be your miss. I didn't talk about Javian Clowney,
- 2:48Speaker 1: who would turn in one of the best performances we've
- 2:50Speaker 1: ever seen from a defensive lineman against the Niners. Was
- 2:53Speaker 1: unable to play against the Eagles, but Pete Carroll's still
- 2:57Speaker 1: pretty optimistic that he's gonna be given a go this
- 2:59Speaker 1: Monday night. Count on him getting back, you know, well,
- 3:03Speaker 1: yeah we are. We've counting on him getting back, but
- 3:05Speaker 1: he's still got to make it. So let's twinge of
- 3:09Speaker 1: optimis in there again, you know that. But he feels
- 3:12Speaker 1: good about it. He wants to go and he's gonna
- 3:13Speaker 1: try to make it good news out of that. And lastly,
- 3:16Speaker 1: Jaron Reid kind of got twisted up dealing with an
- 3:18Speaker 1: ankle issue. He's been determined to practice this week and
- 3:22Speaker 1: he really wants to play, so but we're probably gonna
- 3:24Speaker 1: to take that up to game time of Monday night,
- 3:26Speaker 1: so hopefully our guy Jay Red will be back there
- 3:29Speaker 1: to keep helping that defensive line. The Vikings the Week
- 3:31Speaker 1: thirteen opponent. They were on the buy last week, so
- 3:34Speaker 1: they didn't play a game, so we'll jump right into
- 3:36Speaker 1: key matchups. Key matches, there's no recab. The Vikings were
- 3:39Speaker 1: at home chilling while the Seahawks were grinded it out.
- 3:41Speaker 1: So first key matchup, we gotta go with Kirk Cousins
- 3:44Speaker 1: versus Seahawk defense. Cousins. The last seven games, he's throwing
- 3:49Speaker 1: for over two thousand yards, eighteen touchdowns, one interception in
- 3:52Speaker 1: the seventy three percent completion rate. This guy is low keyballing.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Like I've been one of the guys who like who've
- 3:58Speaker 1: kind of hated on a bit because he hasn't won
- 4:01Speaker 1: the big game, and he still hasn't won too many
- 4:03Speaker 1: big games. He played well against Denver beat the Cowboys,
- 4:06Speaker 1: but you look at his numbers and he looks like
- 4:08Speaker 1: a pro bowler. The numbers don't like because the biggest
- 4:10Speaker 1: knock on Kirk was he does not beat teams with
- 4:13Speaker 1: above five record. Yeah, he's been able to do that
- 4:15Speaker 1: a couple of times this season, and from you talk
- 4:17Speaker 1: to anyone, whether it's the Vikings or people that watch him,
- 4:21Speaker 1: everyone's pretty much a consensus that he's playing the best
- 4:23Speaker 1: he's ever played in his career. Overall this season, Cousin
- 4:26Speaker 1: leaves the NFL with a passer rating of one fourteen,
- 4:28Speaker 1: while Russell Wilson has a one twelve passer rating. I
- 4:32Speaker 1: wonder out how those Viking fans feel about that. You know,
- 4:34Speaker 1: all that talk about rusting MVP. There has to be
- 4:36Speaker 1: some chatter Minnesota about Cousins being an MVP Kennedy, right, Oh, yeah,
- 4:40Speaker 1: I've been doing some research in Minnesota, and they're feeling
- 4:43Speaker 1: a little jit man. They're feeling like their guy Kirk
- 4:45Speaker 1: isn't getting enough love. But it's definitely going to come
- 4:47Speaker 1: down to Monday night and we'll really get to see. Yes, sir,
- 4:50Speaker 1: Cousins been really good with the playgustion pass. He's has
- 4:52Speaker 1: twelve touchdown passes off the plaquestion pass. When you have
- 4:55Speaker 1: a running back like Cook, which we'll talk about later,
- 4:57Speaker 1: that's gonna help your play as in situation. Cousin has
- 5:00Speaker 1: also been sacked twenty two times this season. Twenty two times.
- 5:04Speaker 1: That means that this defensive line needs to get after
- 5:07Speaker 1: this guy. Oh, you absolutely have to, and he's not
- 5:09Speaker 1: He's the guy that's that's mobile. But it's not a
- 5:11Speaker 1: Lamar Jackson by any stretch of the imagination or anyone
- 5:14Speaker 1: like that. So twenty two is actually good for them
- 5:17Speaker 1: because he's trying to get the ball out quicker. But
- 5:19Speaker 1: if you're if you're the Seahawks defensive line, you're looking
- 5:21Speaker 1: your chops, looking your chops. Assistant head coach Gary Kobya
- 5:24Speaker 1: believes that Cousin is buying into their system and as
- 5:27Speaker 1: a quarterback, if you're not bought into the system, your
- 5:29Speaker 1: chances of being successful they just go down. The Russell's
- 5:32Speaker 1: bought in. Dak has bought it. Even though they've been
- 5:34Speaker 1: struggling a bit. All these top notch quarterbacks believe in
- 5:38Speaker 1: their system. They believe in their quarterbacks, and it looks
- 5:41Speaker 1: like Cousins body in Minnesota. Yeah, I mean, like you said,
- 5:43Speaker 1: the numbers don't lie. Twenty one touchdown, three interceptions. He's
- 5:46Speaker 1: taking care of the ball, getting out fast, and they
- 5:47Speaker 1: got weapons down. Yes, they do. A weapon that we
- 5:50Speaker 1: need to look after is Dalvin Cook versus Seahawk front seven.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Cook has emerged of one of the best running backs
- 5:56Speaker 1: in the NFL, raking third in the league with a
- 5:58Speaker 1: thousand and seventeen rushing yards and eleven touchdowns. It's almost
- 6:03Speaker 1: like this guy came out of nowhere, Like you knew
- 6:05Speaker 1: there was talent there, but he's really starting to put
- 6:06Speaker 1: it together this year. He's been solid, but he looked
- 6:08Speaker 1: the numbers. You know, he rushed for like five hundred
- 6:10Speaker 1: or six hundred first couple of years, and out of nowhere,
- 6:12Speaker 1: it's like a light switch one on. They're just gelling offensively,
- 6:15Speaker 1: and he is a problem. He's a problem. He will
- 6:17Speaker 1: also catch the football forty five receptions for four hundred
- 6:20Speaker 1: and fifty five yards. And when they talk about Dalvin Cook,
- 6:23Speaker 1: they talk about his vision, how he can set up blocks.
- 6:25Speaker 1: And as a running back, you're kind of like two
- 6:28Speaker 1: moves ahead, you know, you're setting up blocks for the
- 6:31Speaker 1: next one. So I like what this guy does. He
- 6:33Speaker 1: does have great vision, he can catch the football. He's
- 6:35Speaker 1: emerging to be one of the best all around backs
- 6:37Speaker 1: in the NFL. Absolutely. And the crazy thing is you
- 6:40Speaker 1: just mentioned all his stats. He's coming off the worst
- 6:42Speaker 1: game of the season against Denver. He had held the
- 6:44Speaker 1: twenty six yards on eleven carries and that was the game.
- 6:47Speaker 1: The Vikings were down twenty to nothing. So obviously I
- 6:51Speaker 1: would like that to continue for at least another week.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Let's pray for a bad game from Dalvin Cook and
- 6:56Speaker 1: the Seahouse. Our tenth best against the rush, allowing a
- 6:59Speaker 1: hundred excuse me, one, one hundred and one yards per game.
- 7:02Speaker 1: So it's set up, man, these guys got to prove it.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Stop Cook, put pressure, Put pressure on the Cousins and
- 7:08Speaker 1: they'll be all right. Another matchup Chris Carson and Rashad
- 7:11Speaker 1: Penny versus the Vikings Front seven. I like that we
- 7:14Speaker 1: are now talking about Rashad Penny. I love Chris Carson.
- 7:18Speaker 1: He's a baller, he's our horse, he's a guy we're
- 7:19Speaker 1: gonna go to. But when you can throw on a guy,
- 7:21Speaker 1: a young gun like Rashad Penny in the mix, that's
- 7:24Speaker 1: more for these defenses to prepare for. Oh, when Rashad's
- 7:26Speaker 1: is doing everything he needs to do, Like against the
- 7:28Speaker 1: forty nine ers, he only played like three or you know,
- 7:30Speaker 1: three snaps and on one of those he fumbled. That's
- 7:33Speaker 1: really easy to get down in your confidence and kind
- 7:35Speaker 1: of shut it down. But he stayed with it, came
- 7:37Speaker 1: out and we showed what we can do. We've seen
- 7:39Speaker 1: glimpse of this, but against the Eagles, you saw that
- 7:42Speaker 1: speed in that twitch that's just different from Chris. So
- 7:44Speaker 1: it's a good one two punch between them. Ray one
- 7:46Speaker 1: two punch. Despite on the rushing for twenty six yards
- 7:48Speaker 1: on eight carres last week, Carson is still never ad
- 7:50Speaker 1: an NFL and rushing at eight hundred and seventy nine
- 7:53Speaker 1: yards it we'll be nice see him break the a
- 7:55Speaker 1: thousand yard mark on Monday night. That would be sweet.
- 7:57Speaker 1: If he breaks the one thousand yard mark, we're this
- 8:00Speaker 1: football game, oh no question about it. If you can
- 8:02Speaker 1: get after their their run defense, it just like we'll
- 8:05Speaker 1: talk about it the stery stinggy ninety four yards loud.
- 8:08Speaker 1: They're the sixth best rushing defense in the league. So
- 8:11Speaker 1: if we can get if we can get over hundred
- 8:13Speaker 1: yards from Chris Carston, we're definitely winning that game. Yep.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Get over one hundred and get what you can from Penny.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Last week he had one hundred and twenty nine yards
- 8:18Speaker 1: on fourteen carras. That's a nine point two average per carry.
- 8:21Speaker 1: I'll take that all day. And he had a career
- 8:23Speaker 1: long of fifty eight yard rushing the fourth quarter and
- 8:26Speaker 1: a TV that kind of to seal the deal. He
- 8:28Speaker 1: saw that go down one. It's nice c number twenty
- 8:31Speaker 1: du it. Then you bust up a fifty eight yard
- 8:32Speaker 1: or we're feeling really good at that point in the game. Yeah, no,
- 8:35Speaker 1: it kind of sealed it. And it's just it's great,
- 8:37Speaker 1: like I said, to see him kind of take over.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Chris was having a tough day and I'm not exactly
- 8:42Speaker 1: sure what was going on, but when Penny was on
- 8:44Speaker 1: the field and he had the ball in his hands,
- 8:46Speaker 1: he was making place. Yes, sir. The next matchup the
- 8:48Speaker 1: Vikings wide receivering Corps versus Seahawks secondary. Now, these Vikings
- 8:51Speaker 1: have a very talented receiver group. They got Stefan Digs
- 8:54Speaker 1: forty six perceptions, eight hundred and eighty yards, five touchdowns.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Then you have feel him, who's having a down year,
- 8:59Speaker 1: but he's been ballanced injuries, has twenty seven receptions for
- 9:01Speaker 1: three hundred and ninety six yards and it's all because
- 9:05Speaker 1: of injury. If he comes back healthy on Monday, he's
- 9:07Speaker 1: ready to go. That's a great one two punch they
- 9:09Speaker 1: got over there. Yeah. I mean he's been hobbled with
- 9:11Speaker 1: a bad hamstring the last couple of games, but you
- 9:13Speaker 1: look back to twenty eighteen, he was absolutely barring out
- 9:15Speaker 1: one hundred and thirteen receptions, thirteen hundred yards, nine touchdowns,
- 9:19Speaker 1: and for a guy his size, that's the crazy they'll
- 9:21Speaker 1: move him inside and he's a matchup nightmare. So while
- 9:23Speaker 1: we're talking to the Seahawks secondary, Akeem King stepped out
- 9:26Speaker 1: there in a lot of the nickel situations last week.
- 9:28Speaker 1: I look to see that again. He's a bigger guy,
- 9:30Speaker 1: kind of help with those slot matchups. Yes, sir, the
- 9:33Speaker 1: Seahows secondary and the last two weeks has intercepted three passes.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Three passes that goes and that's that's a big deal
- 9:39Speaker 1: for them. Earlier in the season they were the question mark,
- 9:42Speaker 1: how is this how is this group going to perform?
- 9:44Speaker 1: And for the last two weeks, man, they've been balling out.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Trey Flowers, may plays, Shaquille Griffin his ranked top five
- 9:49Speaker 1: in the league as far as a pass breakers with thirteen.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I believe McDougall the og, the bag, holding it down, dethrowing.
- 9:56Speaker 1: I call him the pitbull. Quandre Diggs. I love what
- 9:58Speaker 1: the secondary is doing right now. Well, the two safeties,
- 10:00Speaker 1: which is great with Quandri came and you can tell
- 10:02Speaker 1: it just kind of sured stuff up. And Bradley won't
- 10:04Speaker 1: tell you this because he's such a good team guy
- 10:07Speaker 1: and will do whatever this team asks you to do.
- 10:09Speaker 1: But it's got to be nice to be like listen,
- 10:11Speaker 1: I'm know him in the box. I'm playing strong safety.
- 10:13Speaker 1: I don't have to learn both positions constantly. I can
- 10:16Speaker 1: just do what I do and then showing him with
- 10:17Speaker 1: his play, Yeah, sir. Next matchup the Seahawks ride receiver
- 10:20Speaker 1: versus the Viking. Second. There, the Vikings struggled in pass defense.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Through eleven games, They've allowed forty pass plays of twenty
- 10:27Speaker 1: yards or longer, which ranks twenty first in the league.
- 10:30Speaker 1: So that tells me DK is gonna make a big play.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Josh Gordon can make a big play. Locket can make
- 10:35Speaker 1: a big play. Russell Wilson throws the best deep ball
- 10:38Speaker 1: in the game. Let's see it again on Monday. Oh,
- 10:41Speaker 1: someone's got to give Russell's among the league leaders in
- 10:42Speaker 1: explosive plays. That that's their weakness, right, he has forty
- 10:45Speaker 1: three of them. Okay, so he can as you said,
- 10:48Speaker 1: he can get the ball down field. He's the best
- 10:50Speaker 1: deep ball in the league. DK came off a tough
- 10:53Speaker 1: game for him. I know the win was swirling. He'll
- 10:55Speaker 1: tell you he should have caught those balls. So I'm
- 10:56Speaker 1: looking for him to have a big game. And if
- 10:58Speaker 1: Locket's back to one hundred. It should be a problem
- 11:00Speaker 1: out there. Yes, so it should be a problem, all right.
- 11:03Speaker 1: So now we're gonna go to the way too early
- 11:05Speaker 1: playoff picture. But that's what we do and we love
- 11:07Speaker 1: for us to do it. It's all right obviously the
- 11:09Speaker 1: division leaders. You got the Niners, the Saint So I
- 11:11Speaker 1: was hoping took an l against atl last night but
- 11:14Speaker 1: didn't happen. The Packers in the six and six Cowboys,
- 11:17Speaker 1: how about that NFC east Man Man. Every week, it
- 11:21Speaker 1: just looks like no one wants to win it. Yeah,
- 11:22Speaker 1: I mean it's every there. Everyone is still on the hunting.
- 11:24Speaker 1: That the mean between the Eagles and Cowboys, they're gonna
- 11:26Speaker 1: go back and forth. That's gonna be tough. But the Seahawks,
- 11:29Speaker 1: it's gonna come down to them and just taking care
- 11:31Speaker 1: of business because the last three weeks there's been multiple
- 11:34Speaker 1: chances for us to get some help, just to get
- 11:36Speaker 1: some help, and it just hasn't happened. So the Seahawks
- 11:38Speaker 1: are really just gonna have take care of business. But
- 11:40Speaker 1: the one game I'm every Seahawks fans should have absolutely
- 11:43Speaker 1: circled an underline on your calendar is Sunday Niners at
- 11:48Speaker 1: the Ravens. I want to see if this forty nine
- 11:53Speaker 1: er defenses. I know they're real. They make some plays,
- 11:55Speaker 1: they play with intensity, but can you stop the hottest
- 11:58Speaker 1: player in the league right now? And performer gets an
- 12:01Speaker 1: offense that you don't see every week. You'll see this
- 12:03Speaker 1: offense once a year. I want to see what they do.
- 12:05Speaker 1: No And yeah, like you said, well, Mars Jackson last
- 12:08Speaker 1: Monday night against the Rams, that was one of the
- 12:10Speaker 1: most crazy performances I've ever seen. It looked like the
- 12:13Speaker 1: Rams shouldn't even been on the field with them. He
- 12:15Speaker 1: is playing at such a high level. And like you said,
- 12:17Speaker 1: we're gonna learn about them. It's a tough it's a
- 12:19Speaker 1: road environment. A guy that you never see for are
- 12:21Speaker 1: a guy that's balling out. We'll see their coaching staff
- 12:24Speaker 1: is up to the challenge. And if the Seahawks are
- 12:26Speaker 1: gonna get any kind of help, it's coming this weekend.
- 12:29Speaker 1: It's coming this weekend. And if they don't get help,
- 12:31Speaker 1: you just do what the heck you do. Win ball games,
- 12:33Speaker 1: ball out on a Monday night. The Hawks typically don't
- 12:36Speaker 1: lose these games, and they're right home, and I think
- 12:38Speaker 1: it's a good challenge. Man. The Hawks got to get
- 12:39Speaker 1: back to winning at home. Yep, you know, undefeating on
- 12:42Speaker 1: the road, which is great. You hope to split the
- 12:43Speaker 1: role games, but at home, you gotta take care of home.
- 12:46Speaker 1: And that's what I believe they're gonna do on Monday
- 12:48Speaker 1: against these Minnesota Vikings. Yeah. Man. And the other thing
- 12:52Speaker 1: when you look at the schedule, just kind of the Packers,
- 12:55Speaker 1: they gotta I don't want to see easy even think
- 12:57Speaker 1: of the Giant Skins, Bears, Vikings and Lions. So the Packers,
- 13:02Speaker 1: we saw them against the forty nine ers last Monday night,
- 13:04Speaker 1: and now they showed that they might be a step back.
- 13:08Speaker 1: And you just kind of look at this the Niners,
- 13:09Speaker 1: like we mentioned the Ravens, they got the Saints and
- 13:11Speaker 1: Fong that's gonna be a huge game. They got the
- 13:13Speaker 1: Falcons who are playing better. They got the Rams in us.
- 13:15Speaker 1: So it's gonna come down New It's gonna come down
- 13:18Speaker 1: like you said, us taking care of business one week
- 13:20Speaker 1: at a time. Let's beat these Vikings. The only thing
- 13:22Speaker 1: to happen in terms of the playoffs scenarios heading in
- 13:25Speaker 1: this weekend is the Saints Juan so they clinch and
- 13:28Speaker 1: NFC South Division title and the Niners can clinch a
- 13:31Speaker 1: playoff Berth, not a division title playoff Berth that they
- 13:34Speaker 1: win and the Rams loose. So we'll see. Obviously we're
- 13:38Speaker 1: gonna be big Ravens fans, Big Ravens, Gold Ravens. Go Earl,
- 13:42Speaker 1: do your thing, baby, all right, the passive victory. Control
- 13:45Speaker 1: the Vikings weapons. They are incredibly talent. You got Cousins,
- 13:48Speaker 1: you got Digs, you got Cuss Gott Theeling, you got
- 13:50Speaker 1: Kyle Rudolph, who hasn't been playing to the level that
- 13:53Speaker 1: we're used to, but he's still a threat. He has
- 13:55Speaker 1: to scored a touchdown, I believe, since Week five, so
- 13:58Speaker 1: he's down a bit. But you can't sleep on that
- 14:00Speaker 1: man because he is an NFL and he's still a baller. Yeah,
- 14:03Speaker 1: you got to destroy the explosive place. Any defense wants
- 14:05Speaker 1: to do that. They have guys on paper, They have
- 14:07Speaker 1: guys in every single position that can hurt you. So
- 14:10Speaker 1: you just gotta take care of the big plays and
- 14:11Speaker 1: keep those guys in control. Speaking to take care, let's
- 14:14Speaker 1: take care of that football, baby, Let's not fumble the ball.
- 14:17Speaker 1: We have way too many turnovers. This football team is
- 14:19Speaker 1: too good and too responsible to put the ball on
- 14:22Speaker 1: the ground like they have been. If I'm coach, I'm
- 14:25Speaker 1: not even mentioning turnovers. I'm just saying, hey, let's take
- 14:28Speaker 1: care of the rock. Do what you do, man, do
- 14:30Speaker 1: what you do. It's it's in their dna is to
- 14:33Speaker 1: take care of the football and take it away. We've
- 14:35Speaker 1: done too much of turning the ball over this year.
- 14:38Speaker 1: We're due to have that day where he put everything together,
- 14:40Speaker 1: when he's put the turnovers behind us. Another path of victory.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Find a way to run the ball. The Vikings have
- 14:45Speaker 1: a top run defense, but hasn't stopped us all year long.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Why start now? They haven't stopped anybody. Let's not. Let's
- 14:52Speaker 1: let's not make Monday night in Seattle of the day
- 14:55Speaker 1: where they miraculously show up and stop us from rushing
- 14:58Speaker 1: for over a hundred yards. Gotta break the hunting mark
- 15:01Speaker 1: one hundred yard mark, and Chris Carson is gonna break
- 15:04Speaker 1: that thousand yard mark. Yeah, Chris is gonna bounce back
- 15:06Speaker 1: to have a big game. We've done it against, whether
- 15:08Speaker 1: it's the Niners, whether it's the Bucks. Now we got
- 15:10Speaker 1: the Vikings, run them ball, that's what we do. Find
- 15:12Speaker 1: a way to get it done. Hey, and now we
- 15:13Speaker 1: gotta keep causing turnovers cause having I like seeing Griffin
- 15:17Speaker 1: at that d N spot getting there. Hopefully Clowney is healthy.
- 15:20Speaker 1: If we gets in there, he'll cost him. Having Puna
- 15:23Speaker 1: Ford do your thing. There's a lot of names on
- 15:25Speaker 1: that defensive line that can contribute to these turnovers. If
- 15:27Speaker 1: they get to the quarterback, if they stop the run,
- 15:29Speaker 1: it's gonna be easier on the back end. And Trey
- 15:31Speaker 1: Flowers has shown that he's ready to ball. Griffins shows
- 15:33Speaker 1: he's ready to ball. Hey, It's gonna take a team
- 15:35Speaker 1: effort and I'm excited, ready to go. All right. That
- 15:38Speaker 1: has been Hawk Talk Preview edition, Week thirteen. The Seahawks
- 15:43Speaker 1: are playing the Vikings on a Monday night in Seattle.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Should be great. It's been real. I'm your host, Michael
- 15:47Speaker 1: Bumpus along with my producer Nasa Choby. Have a great one, Land,
