- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
- 0:05You know, I've told you, folks for a very very
- 0:08long time that the US Virgin Islands was in on
- 0:12it with Jeffrey Epstein. And I had a lot of
- 0:15pushback from people in the beginning who thought that there
- 0:18were actually good guys in this story. Well breaking news.
- 0:22There are no good guys. There are no heroes coming
- 0:25to save us, and we're gonna have to save ourselves
- 0:28because people like Cecille de Jong, the former First Lady
- 0:32of the US Virgin Islands, they don't care about you
- 0:36and they don't care about your children. If they did,
- 0:40would they be breaking bread with Jeffrey Epstein? Would they
- 0:43be staying at his house, using it like a hostel,
- 0:47and then trying to gaslight you about it and tell
- 0:49you that there's nothing to see here. Well, I don't
- 0:52know about you, but I don't even have one friend
- 0:55who's a sex offender, never mind multiple today's article is
- 1:00I'm on the Daily Mail and the headline exclusive. Former
- 1:04first Lady of the US Virgin Islands, cecil DeJong, admitted
- 1:08to staying at Jeffrey Epstein's Manhattan apartment in twenty seventeen
- 1:13for nee replacement surgery. Twenty seventeen. Folks, how many years
- 1:18after he was already convicted, was already a sex offender,
- 1:22and just a very short time before he was arrested
- 1:25a second time. But if you're Cecil de Jong, the
- 1:28former First Lady of the US Virgin Islands, it's all good.
- 1:32I'll just go and stay at Epstein's house to get
- 1:34a nee replacement. Well, while you're at it, lady, why
- 1:37don't you get a brain replacement. This article was authored
- 1:40by Daniel Bates. The former First Lady of the US
- 1:45Virgin Islands, admitted that she stayed at an apartment owned
- 1:49by Jeffrey Epstein while visiting New York for an operation.
- 1:53Court documents have revealed. And according to those documents, she
- 1:57stayed at an apartment that was provided by Apace. And
- 2:00where was that apartment located, Well, we all know the
- 2:04apartment building on sixty first where Epstein kept all of
- 2:07the trafficked women, all of the women that he was abusing.
- 2:10You know, his building of horrors. You know, another place
- 2:14of Jeffrey Epstein's ill repute that nobody talks about. And
- 2:17if you're wondering why I always say that the legacy
- 2:20media has only given you a scratch of the surface
- 2:23when it comes to this story. This is why this
- 2:26was happening in twenty seventeen. You mean to tell me
- 2:29that none of those high flying New York Times journalists
- 2:33knew what was going on. They didn't have the hookup,
- 2:35they didn't have the inn. This isn't news or is
- 2:39it only news when it's alex Acosta, because I'm hearing
- 2:42a whole lot of quiet coming from certain quadrants when
- 2:45it comes to all of these people that are being
- 2:47exposed recently for being part of Jeffrey Epstein's criminal enterprise,
- 2:52from Kathlyn Rumler all the way down to Cecile de Jong,
- 2:56you would think that there would be some deep dives.
- 2:59You would think that some of these journalists out here
- 3:01would do the right thing and go deeper. But that's
- 3:04not the case unless you're talking about outlets like The
- 3:07Daily Mail or The New York Post. These other outlets
- 3:11don't give a damn. And it's hilarious to me when
- 3:14people malign outlets like The Daily Mail or the New
- 3:17York Post when we're talking about true crime, Because as
- 3:21somebody who spends a lot of time reading articles, The
- 3:24Daily Mail is on top of all of it when
- 3:27it comes to true crime, and especially when it comes
- 3:30to Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein. For years, it was
- 3:34outlets like the Daily Mail that we're carrying all the
- 3:38water when it comes to this investigation. So while I
- 3:41would never rely on the Daily Mail for regular news
- 3:45as far as you know, political or anything like that,
- 3:48when it comes to true crime or just stories of
- 3:51the screwed up, the Daily Mail is one of the
- 3:53best sources out there. And when we're talking about the
- 3:56investigation into Jeffrey Epstein, Glenn Maxwell and the rest of
- 4:00the scoundrels, Daniel Bates over at the Daily Mail has
- 4:04been on top of this the whole entire time, and
- 4:07he's done a real good job cataloging what has occurred.
- 4:10But if we had a functioning for the State, then
- 4:14they would have been all over this as well, from
- 4:15the very beginning, the second that Miss DeJong showed up
- 4:19at Epstein's house, they would have been there and they
- 4:21would have known that they probably should be reporting on
- 4:24this story. Oh, the ex first Lady of the US
- 4:27Virgin Islands staying with Jeffrey Epstein, who used to live
- 4:30in the Virgin Islands. Who has a place called Pedophile
- 4:33Island in the Virgin Islands? Yeah, no story there, huh.
- 4:36I thought that democracy died in the dark. Cecil de
- 4:40Jong said she had to stay at the pedophile's property
- 4:43rather than with her daughter, who also lived in New York,
- 4:46because his building had an elevator. She also claimed that
- 4:50Epstein's apartment was far more convenient because it was six
- 4:54blocks away from the hospital. God forbid, she's inconvenienced. Let
- 4:58me go and stay at mister pedophile house because I
- 5:00don't want to be inconvenienced. I don't know about you, folks,
- 5:03but I don't believe a word coming out of Cecile
- 5:06de Jong's mouth, not one single word. In a deposition
- 5:10unsealed as part of a sex trafficking case brought by
- 5:14the USVII government against JP Morgan, DeJong defended Epstein's practice
- 5:19of giving a turkey to everyone who worked in the
- 5:22customs office at Saint Thomas, the capital of the territory.
- 5:26I mean, what is he Christopher Malta Santi in the
- 5:29Sopranos when they're giving out the turkeys for Thanksgiving. This
- 5:33is the kind of shit that organized criminals do. They
- 5:36give out their turkeys for Thanksgiving, they try and get
- 5:39the local community on their side. Meanwhile they're pillaging the community.
- 5:43They're hurting the children, and an Epstein's case, a whole
- 5:47lot worse. So, yeah, go on with your bad self
- 5:49and enjoy your turkeys, because I'm pretty sure that the
- 5:52girls that are getting molested they didn't have anything to
- 5:55give thanks for. Epstein appeared to be currying favor with
- 5:59offers who would have seen him arriving with young women,
- 6:03but DeJong said it was more like giving a gift
- 6:06to a doorman. Oh yeah, that's exactly what it was,
- 6:09because the doorman has the ability to arrest you. The
- 6:13way they try and conflate things and just shrug them
- 6:16off is absurd to me, and the fact that people
- 6:19let him get away with it on a regular basis
- 6:22is even more absurd. Her comments came in a deposition
- 6:25in the case where the USVII claims that JP Morgan
- 6:29turned a blind eye to epstein sex trafficking operation. Epstein,
- 6:34who was a JP Morgan customer between nineteen ninety eight
- 6:38and twenty thirteen, owned two private islands in the territory
- 6:42and abused multiple underage women there and women of age.
- 6:47Let's not forget them. Just because you're of age doesn't
- 6:50mean it's okay to get abused or trafficked. The USVII
- 6:55is seeking more than one hundred and ninety million dollars
- 6:58in restitution from the Bank, which denies the charges and
- 7:01accuses the USVII government of its own blindness when it
- 7:05came to Epstein. Among the claims already made by JP
- 7:09Morgan is that DeJong ran Epstein's business operations for several years,
- 7:14including when her husband, John Dejon was the governor of
- 7:19the USVII. Yeah, there is no conflict of interest there.
- 7:24There's nothing to see here, folks. There's no corruption. Jeffrey
- 7:28Epstein was never being protected by any political figures. The
- 7:32Bank has said that DeJong was paid two hundred thousand
- 7:35dollars in salary and bonuses in two thousand and seven,
- 7:39the year that her husband took office. You think that
- 7:42was all for her or do you think a little
- 7:44bit of that was for her husband, who was the
- 7:46governor to wet his beak. In the deposition, DeJong said
- 7:52she was getting a knee replacement in twenty seventeen and
- 7:55spoke to Epstein's assistant Leslie Groff, about staying at one
- 7:59of his properties. So Leslie grops another one. I don't
- 8:02care what she or her lawyer says. She was still
- 8:05working for this disgusting animal in twenty seventeen when everybody
- 8:10knew what he was. So she can take her apologies,
- 8:13she can take her denials, and she can stuff them.
- 8:17While the apartment is not identified, Epstein and his brother
- 8:20owned a building in the Upper east Side where his
- 8:23friends in some victims stayed, described in his infamous Black
- 8:27Book of Contacts as the apartment for models, more like
- 8:30the feeding ground for his sick desires, more like the
- 8:33place where he would send these girls out to be trafficked.
- 8:37Is that what you're talking about? In twenty seventeen, Epstein
- 8:42had been out of prison for nearly a decade, having
- 8:45served fifteen months in prison for soliciting miners for prostitution.
- 8:50If you want to call it that, hanging out all
- 8:52day at your office only a reporting back to go
- 8:55to sleep. If you want to call that serving prison time,
- 8:58I mean, I guess, But where I'm from, that's certainly
- 9:01not the case. I can promise you that all my
- 9:04friends which have been many, and my relatives, which have
- 9:07been a few who have been to prison have not
- 9:09been treated in this manner. And none of them, by
- 9:13the way, have been there for hurting little children or
- 9:17trafficking human beings. Under the terms of his release, he
- 9:21had to become a registered sex offender, including in the USVII,
- 9:25DeJong said, So, I asked mister Epstein if I could
- 9:29stay there, because I had to stay there for my
- 9:31initial rehab and my postop. You don't have enough money
- 9:34for an airbnb? What about a hotel? What about just
- 9:37staying with your daughter? None of it jibs. None of
- 9:41it makes sense, and I don't believe a word of it.
- 9:44And also the apartment was like six blocks from the
- 9:47hospital for surgery. So I flew up first time, stayed
- 9:51with my daughter, did my pre opt, then went to
- 9:54the apartment, had my surgery, and stayed there. I've had
- 9:58some hard complications, so I was there a little bit
- 10:01longer than normal. In its response, the USVII said that
- 10:05the Jong was no longer the first lady when she
- 10:08stated at Epstein's and that the point was not material
- 10:12to the case. Yes it is. It shows history, right.
- 10:16She didn't just show up there out of the blue
- 10:18and say, hey, mister Epstein, can I stay at your house?
- 10:21They were friends, they had a relationship. She worked for them,
- 10:24So there's no way that the judge is going to
- 10:26look at this and throw it out as immaterial. Dejean
- 10:31claimed that she vaguely remembered Epstein giving turkeys to all
- 10:34the customs officers in the USVII. Being in the good
- 10:38books of these officers would have been critical to Abstein,
- 10:42given he was transporting sex slaves into and out of
- 10:45the USVII on an almost weekly basis. It's the same
- 10:49reason any crime boss gives anything to the police, and
- 10:53that reason is so that they get favorable treatment when
- 10:56it comes to their bullshit ass crimes. Asked if she
- 11:01thought that such gifts were okay, DeJong said yeah. She said, well,
- 11:05down here, people usually give gifts to people at Department
- 11:08of Finance, they give you know, they give gifts to
- 11:12people who they normally interact with on a regular basis.
- 11:16You know. It's similar to you know, when you you know,
- 11:19my brother in law lives in a building where everybody
- 11:22gives gifts to the doorman. You know. So that's where
- 11:25I was thinking I had no reason to think anything
- 11:27untoward was happening. I mean, wow, who believes this bullshit?
- 11:33I doubt she even believes it. The attorney asking the
- 11:36questions for JP Morgan responded, sure, but you would recognize
- 11:40that customs officials are not like the doorman in your building.
- 11:45They're law enforcement officers, right. Dejong's answers was not included
- 11:49in the extract of the deposition. In previous filings in
- 11:54the case, JP Morgan claim that Epstein paid the tuition
- 11:57fees for Dejong's children to curry with her and her husband. Well,
- 12:02that'll do it. With as expensive as college is. You
- 12:06know it cost a few bucks. The bank claim that
- 12:09she explicitly advised Epstein on how to buy control of
- 12:14the USVII political class. She also allegedly helped them to
- 12:18get visas to bring victims to his island. According to
- 12:22court documents, de Jong was a ready partner in helping
- 12:25Epstein to freely transport and exploit young women, it was claimed.
- 12:31A USVII spokeswoman said that these claims mischaracterize Epstein's interactions
- 12:36with the territory to distract and shift blame away from
- 12:40its role in facilitating Jeffrey Epstein's Hain's crimes. No, you're
- 12:45all culpable, And now the US Virgin Islands is doing
- 12:50the I'm in danger dance because they know that they're
- 12:54being exposed. JP Morgan has already settled a similar lawsuit
- 12:59brought by an unnamed woman called Jane Doe, for two
- 13:02hundred and ninety million dollars. Deutsche Bank has also settled
- 13:06its own Epstein sex trafficking lawsuit for ninety million. The
- 13:10USVII case is due to go to trial in New
- 13:13York in October, and this is certainly one you can
- 13:17expect to go to trial. They're not gonna settle, So
- 13:21we're gonna get revved up and starting October first, we're
- 13:24gonna be covering this trial day in and day out,
- 13:27and until then, obviously we're gonna keep an eye on
- 13:30things and see what develops, all right, folks, that's gonna
- 13:33do it from a rainy and wet Las Vegas, Nevada
- 13:37and all of the information that goes with this episode
- 13:39can be found in the description box.
