- 0:00Speaker 1: Chapter ninety eight, self indulgence of sinners, sin originated by Man,
- 0:06Speaker 1: all sin recorded in Heaven Woes for the Sinners, chapter
- 0:11Speaker 1: ninety eight. And now I swear unto you, to the
- 0:14Speaker 1: wise and to the foolish, For ye shall have manifold
- 0:18Speaker 1: experiences on the earth. For ye men shall put on
- 0:21Speaker 1: more adornments than a woman, and colored garments, more than
- 0:24Speaker 1: a virgin. In royalty, and in grandeur, and in power,
- 0:29Speaker 1: and in silver, and in gold, and in purple, and
- 0:33Speaker 1: in splendor, and in food, they shall be poured out
- 0:36Speaker 1: as water. Therefore they shall be wanting in doctrine and wisdom,
- 0:41Speaker 1: and they shall perish thereby, together with their possessions, and
- 0:44Speaker 1: with all their glory and their splendor, And in shame,
- 0:48Speaker 1: and in slaughter, and in great destitution, their spirits shall
- 0:52Speaker 1: be cast into the furnace of fire. I have sworn
- 0:55Speaker 1: unto you, ye sinners. As a mountain has not become
- 0:58Speaker 1: a slave to hill, does not become the handmaid of
- 1:02Speaker 1: a woman. Even so sin has not been sent upon
- 1:05Speaker 1: the earth, but Man of himself has created it. And
- 1:09Speaker 1: under a great curse shall they fall who commit it.
- 1:13Speaker 1: And barrenness has not been given to the woman but
- 1:16Speaker 1: on account of the deeds of her own hands, she
- 1:18Speaker 1: dies without children. I have sworn unto you, ye sinners,
- 1:22Speaker 1: by the Holy Great One, that all your evil deeds
- 1:25Speaker 1: are revealed in the heavens, and that none of your
- 1:28Speaker 1: deeds of oppression are covered and hidden. And do not
- 1:32Speaker 1: think in your spirit, nor say in your heart that
- 1:34Speaker 1: ye do not know, and that you do not see.
- 1:37Speaker 1: That every sin is every day recorded in heaven in
- 1:40Speaker 1: the presence of the Most High. From henceforth ye know
- 1:44Speaker 1: that all your oppression, wherewith ye oppress, is written down
- 1:48Speaker 1: every day till the day of your judgment. Woe to you,
- 1:51Speaker 1: ye fools, for through your folly shall ye perish, and
- 1:55Speaker 1: ye transgress against the wise and so good. Hap shall
- 1:59Speaker 1: not be your poor. And now know ye that ye
- 2:03Speaker 1: are prepared for the day of destruction. Wherefore do not
- 2:06Speaker 1: hope to live, ye sinners, but ye shall depart and die,
- 2:10Speaker 1: for ye know no ransom, for ye are prepared for
- 2:13Speaker 1: the day of the Great Judgment, for the day of
- 2:16Speaker 1: tribulation and great shame for your spirits. Woe to you,
- 2:20Speaker 1: ye obstinate of heart, who work wickedness and eat blood.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Whence have ye good things to eat and to drink
- 2:26Speaker 1: and to be filled from all the good things which
- 2:29Speaker 1: the Lord the Most High has placed in abundance on
- 2:32Speaker 1: the earth. Therefore ye shall have no peace. Woe to
- 2:36Speaker 1: you who love the deeds of unrighteousness. Wherefore do ye
- 2:40Speaker 1: hope for good hap unto yourselves, Know that ye shall
- 2:44Speaker 1: be delivered into the hands of the righteous, and they
- 2:46Speaker 1: shall cut off your necks and slay you, and have
- 2:49Speaker 1: no mercy upon you. Woe to you who rejoice in
- 2:53Speaker 1: the tribulation of the righteous, for no grave shall be
- 2:56Speaker 1: dug for you. Woe to you who said at naught
- 2:59Speaker 1: the words of the righteous, for ye shall have no
- 3:02Speaker 1: hope of life. Woe to you who write down, lying
- 3:05Speaker 1: in godless words, for they write down their lives that
- 3:08Speaker 1: men may hear them enact godlessly towards their neighbor. Therefore
- 3:13Speaker 1: they shall have no peace, but die a sudden death.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Chapter ninety nine. Woes pronounced on the godless, the lawbreakers,
- 3:22Speaker 1: evil plight of sinners in the last days. Further woes
- 3:27Speaker 1: Chapter ninety nine. Woe to you who were godlessness and
- 3:31Speaker 1: glory in lying and extol them, Ye shall perish, and
- 3:35Speaker 1: no happy life shall be yours. Woe to them who
- 3:38Speaker 1: pervert the words of a brightness and transgress the eternal law,
- 3:42Speaker 1: and transform themselves into what they were not, into sinners,
- 3:47Speaker 1: they shall be trodden underfoot upon the earth. In those days.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Make ready, ye righteous, to raise your prayers as a memorial,
- 3:54Speaker 1: and place them as a testimony before the angels, that
- 3:57Speaker 1: they may place the sin of the sinners for a
- 4:00Speaker 1: memorial before the most High. In those days, the nations
- 4:04Speaker 1: shall be stirred up, and the families of the nations
- 4:07Speaker 1: shall arise on the day of destruction. And in those
- 4:10Speaker 1: days the destitute shall go forth and carry off their children,
- 4:14Speaker 1: and they shall abandon them, so that their children shall
- 4:16Speaker 1: perish through them. Yea, they shall abandon their children that
- 4:20Speaker 1: are still sucklings, and not return to them, and shall
- 4:23Speaker 1: have no pity on their beloved ones. And again I
- 4:27Speaker 1: swear to you, ye sinners, that sin is prepared for
- 4:30Speaker 1: a day of unceasing bloodshed. And they who worship stones
- 4:34Speaker 1: and grave images of gold and silver, and wood and
- 4:38Speaker 1: stone and clay, and those who worship in pure spirits
- 4:42Speaker 1: and demons and all kinds of idols not according to knowledge,
- 4:47Speaker 1: shall get no manner of help from them. And they
- 4:50Speaker 1: shall become godless by reason of the folly of their hearts,
- 4:53Speaker 1: and their eyes shall be blinded through the fear of
- 4:55Speaker 1: their hearts, and through visions in their dreams. Through these
- 4:59Speaker 1: they shall become godless and fearful. For they shall have
- 5:03Speaker 1: wrought all their work in a lie, and shall have
- 5:06Speaker 1: worshiped a stone. Therefore, in an instant shall they perish.
- 5:10Speaker 1: But in those days blessed are all they who accept
- 5:13Speaker 1: the words of wisdom and understand them, and observe the
- 5:17Speaker 1: paths of the Most High, and walk in the path
- 5:20Speaker 1: of His righteousness, and become not godless with the godless,
- 5:23Speaker 1: for they shall be saved. Woe to you who spread
- 5:27Speaker 1: evil to your neighbors, for ye shall be slain in Shiel.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Woe to you who make deceitful and false measures, and
- 5:35Speaker 1: to them who cause bitterness on the earth, for they
- 5:37Speaker 1: shall thereby be utterly consumed. Woe to you who build
- 5:42Speaker 1: your houses through the grievous toil of others, and all
- 5:45Speaker 1: their building materials are the bricks and stones of sin.
- 5:49Speaker 1: I tell you ye shall have no peace. Woe to
- 5:53Speaker 1: them who reject the measure and eternal heritage of their fathers,
- 5:57Speaker 1: and whose souls follow after idols, for they shall have
- 6:00Speaker 1: no rest. Woe to them who work on righteousness and
- 6:03Speaker 1: help oppression, and slay their neighbors, until the day of
- 6:07Speaker 1: the Great Judgment, For he shall cast down your glory
- 6:10Speaker 1: and bring affliction on your hearts, and shall arouse his
- 6:14Speaker 1: fierce indignation and destroy you all with the sword, and
- 6:18Speaker 1: all the holy and righteous shall remember your sins. Chapter
- 6:22Speaker 1: one hundred. The sinners destroy each other judgment of the
- 6:25Speaker 1: fallen angels, the safety of the righteous further woes for
- 6:29Speaker 1: the sinners. Chapter one hundred. And in those days, in
- 6:34Speaker 1: one place, the fathers, together with their sons, shall be smitten,
- 6:38Speaker 1: and brothers one with another, shall fall in death till
- 6:41Speaker 1: the streams flow with their blood. For a man shall
- 6:45Speaker 1: not withhold his hand from slaying his sons and his
- 6:47Speaker 1: son's sons, and the sinner shall not withhold his hand
- 6:51Speaker 1: from his honored brother. From dawn till sunset, they shall
- 6:55Speaker 1: slay one another, and the horse shall walk up to
- 6:58Speaker 1: the breast in the blood of selin, and the chariot
- 7:02Speaker 1: shall be submerged to its height. In those days, the
- 7:05Speaker 1: angels shall descend into the secret places and gather together
- 7:09Speaker 1: into one place, all those who brought down sin, and
- 7:12Speaker 1: the Most High will arise on that day of judgment
- 7:15Speaker 1: to execute great judgment amongst sinners and over all the
- 7:20Speaker 1: righteous and holy. He will appoint guardians from amongst the
- 7:23Speaker 1: holy angels to guard them as the apple of an eye,
- 7:27Speaker 1: until he makes an end of all wickedness and all sin.
- 7:31Speaker 1: And though the righteous sleep a long sleep, they have
- 7:34Speaker 1: naught to fear. And then the children of the youths
- 7:37Speaker 1: shall see the wise in security, and shall understand all
- 7:40Speaker 1: the words of this book, and recognize that their riches
- 7:44Speaker 1: shall not be able to save them in the overthrow
- 7:46Speaker 1: of their sins. Woe to you, sinners, on the day
- 7:50Speaker 1: of strong anguish ye who afflict the righteous and burn
- 7:54Speaker 1: them with fire, Ye shall be requited according to your works.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Woe to you, ye obstinate of heart, who watch in
- 8:02Speaker 1: order to devise wickedness. Therefore shall fear come upon you,
- 8:05Speaker 1: and there shall be none to help you. Woe to you, ye, sinners,
- 8:09Speaker 1: on account of the words of your mouth, and on
- 8:12Speaker 1: account of the deeds of your hands, which your godlessness
- 8:15Speaker 1: has wrought em blazing flames burning worse than fire, shall
- 8:19Speaker 1: ye burn. And now know ye that from the angels
- 8:24Speaker 1: he will inquire as to your deeds in heaven, from
- 8:27Speaker 1: the sun and from the moon, and from the stars,
- 8:31Speaker 1: in reference to your sins. Because upon the earth ye
- 8:34Speaker 1: execute judgment on the righteous. And he will summon to
- 8:38Speaker 1: testify against you every cloud and mist, and dew and rain,
- 8:43Speaker 1: for they shall all be withheld because of you, from
- 8:45Speaker 1: descending upon you, and they shall be mindful of your sins.
- 8:50Speaker 1: And now give presents to the rain, that it be
- 8:53Speaker 1: not withheld from descending upon you, Nor yet the dew,
- 8:57Speaker 1: when it has received gold and silver from you you,
- 9:00Speaker 1: that it may descend. When the hoar, frost and snow
- 9:03Speaker 1: with their chilliness, and all the snow storms with all
- 9:07Speaker 1: their plagues, fall upon you in those days, ye shall
- 9:10Speaker 1: not be able to stand before them. Chapter one hundred
- 9:13Speaker 1: and one exhortation to the fear of God. All nature
- 9:17Speaker 1: fears him, but not the sinners. Chapter one hundred and one.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Observe the heaven, ye children of Heaven, and every work
- 9:25Speaker 1: of the Most High, and fear ye him, and work
- 9:29Speaker 1: no evil in his presence. If he closes the windows
- 9:32Speaker 1: of heaven and withholds the rain and the dew from
- 9:34Speaker 1: descending on the earth on your account, what will ye
- 9:37Speaker 1: do then, And if he sends his anger upon you
- 9:40Speaker 1: because of your deeds, ye cannot petition him, for ye
- 9:44Speaker 1: spake proud and insolent words against his righteousness. Therefore ye
- 9:48Speaker 1: shall have no peace. And see ye not the sailors
- 9:52Speaker 1: of the ships, how their ships are tossed to and
- 9:54Speaker 1: fro by the waves, and are shaken by the winds,
- 9:57Speaker 1: and are in sore trouble. And therefore they fear, because
- 10:01Speaker 1: all their goodly possessions go upon the sea with them,
- 10:04Speaker 1: and they have evil forebodings of heart, that the sea
- 10:07Speaker 1: will swallow them and they will perish Therein are not
- 10:10Speaker 1: the entire sea and all its waters, and all its
- 10:13Speaker 1: movements the work of the Most High? And has he
- 10:17Speaker 1: not set limits to its doings and confined it throughout
- 10:21Speaker 1: by the sand? And at his reproof, it is afraid
- 10:25Speaker 1: and dries up, and all its fish dye, and all
- 10:27Speaker 1: that is in it. But ye sinners that are on
- 10:30Speaker 1: the earth fear him not. Has He not made the
- 10:33Speaker 1: heaven and the earth and all that is therein, who
- 10:36Speaker 1: has given understanding and wisdom to everything that moves on
- 10:39Speaker 1: the earth and in the sea. Do not the sailors
- 10:42Speaker 1: of the ships fear the sea, Yet sinners fear not
- 10:46Speaker 1: the most High Chapter one hundred and two. Terrors of
- 10:50Speaker 1: the Day of Judgment, the adverse fortunes of the Righteous
- 10:54Speaker 1: on the Earth Chapter one hundred and two. In those
- 10:58Speaker 1: days when he hath brought a grievous fire upon you,
- 11:00Speaker 1: whither will you flee? And where will ye find deliverance?
- 11:04Speaker 1: And when he launches forth his word against you, will
- 11:07Speaker 1: you not be affrighted and fear? And all the luminaries
- 11:10Speaker 1: shall be affrighted with great fear, And all the earth
- 11:13Speaker 1: shall be affrighted and tremble and be alarmed. And all
- 11:16Speaker 1: the angels shall execute their commands and shall seek to
- 11:20Speaker 1: hide themselves from the presence of the Great Glory, and
- 11:23Speaker 1: all the children of earth shall tremble and quake. And
- 11:26Speaker 1: ye sinners shall be cursed forever, and ye shall have
- 11:29Speaker 1: no peace. Fear ye not, ye souls of the righteous.
- 11:33Speaker 1: And be hopeful, ye that have died in righteousness, And
- 11:37Speaker 1: grieve not if your soul into shioul has descended in grief,
- 11:40Speaker 1: and that in your life your body fared not according
- 11:43Speaker 1: to your goodness. But wait for the day of the
- 11:46Speaker 1: judgment of sinners, and for the day of cursing and chastisement.
- 11:51Speaker 1: And yet when ye die, the sinners speak over you.
- 11:54Speaker 1: As we die, so die the righteous. And what benefit
- 11:57Speaker 1: do they reap for their deeds? Behold, even as we
- 12:01Speaker 1: so do, they die in grief and darkness. And what
- 12:04Speaker 1: have they more than we? From henceforth we are equal?
- 12:08Speaker 1: And what will they receive? And what will they see? Forever? Behold,
- 12:12Speaker 1: they too have died, and henceforth forever they shall see
- 12:15Speaker 1: no light. I tell you, ye, sinners, ye are content
- 12:20Speaker 1: to eat and drink, and rob and sin, and strip
- 12:23Speaker 1: men naked, and acquire wealth and see good days? Have
- 12:27Speaker 1: ye seen the righteous? How their end falls out? That
- 12:30Speaker 1: no manner of violence is found in them till their death. Nevertheless,
- 12:34Speaker 1: they perished and became as though they had not been,
- 12:37Speaker 1: and their spirits descended into shiol. In Tribulation, Chapter one
- 12:42Speaker 1: hundred and three, Different destinies of the righteous and the sinners,
- 12:46Speaker 1: Fresh objections of the sinners Chapter one hundred and three. Now,
- 12:51Speaker 1: therefore I swear to you the righteous, by the glory
- 12:54Speaker 1: of the great and honored and mighty one in Dominion,
- 12:57Speaker 1: and by his greatness. I swear to you I know
- 13:00Speaker 1: a mystery, and have read the heavenly tablets, and have
- 13:04Speaker 1: seen the Holy books, and have found written therein and
- 13:07Speaker 1: inscribed regarding them, that all goodness and joy and glory
- 13:11Speaker 1: are prepared for them, and written down for the spirits
- 13:14Speaker 1: of those who have died in righteousness, and that manifold
- 13:17Speaker 1: good shall be given to you in recompense for your labors,
- 13:21Speaker 1: and that your lot is abundantly beyond the lot of
- 13:24Speaker 1: the living, and the spirits of you who have died
- 13:27Speaker 1: in righteousness shall live and rejoice, and their spirits shall
- 13:31Speaker 1: not perish, nor their memorial from before the face of
- 13:35Speaker 1: the Great One, unto all the generations of the world,
- 13:38Speaker 1: wherefore no longer fear their contumely. Woe to you, ye sinners,
- 13:43Speaker 1: when ye have died, If ye die in the wealth
- 13:45Speaker 1: of your sins, and those who are like you, say
- 13:48Speaker 1: regarding you, blessed are the sinners. They have seen all
- 13:51Speaker 1: their days, and how they have died in prosperity and
- 13:55Speaker 1: in wealth, and have not seen tribulation or murder in
- 13:58Speaker 1: their life, And they have died in honor, and judgment
- 14:01Speaker 1: has not been executed on them during their life. Know
- 14:05Speaker 1: ye that their souls will be made to descend into
- 14:08Speaker 1: shil and they shall be wretched in their great tribulation,
- 14:12Speaker 1: And into darkness and chains and a burning flame, where
- 14:15Speaker 1: there is grievous judgment shall your spirits enter, And the
- 14:18Speaker 1: great judgment shall be for all the generations of the world.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Woe to you, for ye shall have no peace. Say
- 14:26Speaker 1: not in regard to the righteous and good who are
- 14:29Speaker 1: in life. In our troubled days, we have toiled laboriously
- 14:33Speaker 1: and experienced every trouble, and met with much evil, and
- 14:36Speaker 1: been consumed, and have become few, and our spirit small.
- 14:41Speaker 1: And we have been destroyed, and have not found any
- 14:43Speaker 1: to help us even with a word. We have been
- 14:46Speaker 1: tortured and destroyed, and not hoped to see life from
- 14:50Speaker 1: day to day. We hoped to be the head, and
- 14:53Speaker 1: have become the tail. We've toiled laboriously and had no
- 14:57Speaker 1: satisfaction in our toil, and we have become the food
- 15:01Speaker 1: of the sinners and the unrighteous. And they have laid
- 15:03Speaker 1: their yoke heavily upon us. They have had dominion over
- 15:07Speaker 1: us that hated us and smote us. And to those
- 15:10Speaker 1: that hated us, we have bowed our necks, but they
- 15:13Speaker 1: pitied us. Not we desired to get away from them,
- 15:16Speaker 1: that we might escape and be at rest, but found
- 15:18Speaker 1: no place whereunto we should flee and be safe from them.
- 15:22Speaker 1: And our complained to the rulers in our tribulation, and
- 15:26Speaker 1: cried out against those who devoured us, But they did
- 15:29Speaker 1: not attend to our cries, and would not harken to
- 15:31Speaker 1: our voice. And they helped those who robbed us and
- 15:35Speaker 1: devoured us, and those who made us few. And they
- 15:39Speaker 1: concealed their oppression, and they did not remove from us
- 15:42Speaker 1: the yoke of those that devoured us and dispersed us
- 15:45Speaker 1: and murdered us. And they concealed their murder, and remembered
- 15:49Speaker 1: not that they had lifted up their hands against us.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Chapter one hundred and four Assurances given to the righteous,
- 15:56Speaker 1: admonitions to sinners and the falsifiers of the Word of uprightness.
- 16:02Speaker 1: Chapter one hundred and four. I swear unto you that
- 16:05Speaker 1: in heaven the angels remember you for good before the
- 16:08Speaker 1: glory of the Great One, and your names are written
- 16:10Speaker 1: before the glory of the Great One. Be hopeful. For
- 16:14Speaker 1: afore time ye were put to shame through ill and affliction.
- 16:18Speaker 1: But now ye shall shine as the lights of heaven.
- 16:21Speaker 1: You shall shine, and you shall be seen, and the
- 16:23Speaker 1: portals of heaven shall be open to you, and in
- 16:27Speaker 1: your cry cry for judgment, and it shall appear to you,
- 16:31Speaker 1: for all your tribulation shall be visited, on the rulers,
- 16:34Speaker 1: and on all who helped those who plundered you. Be hopeful,
- 16:38Speaker 1: and cast not away your hopes, for ye shall have
- 16:41Speaker 1: great joy as the angels of heaven. What shall ye
- 16:44Speaker 1: be obliged to do. You shall not have to hide
- 16:47Speaker 1: on the day of the great Judgment, and you shall
- 16:49Speaker 1: not be found as sinners, And the eternal judgment shall
- 16:52Speaker 1: be far from you for all the generations of the world.
- 16:56Speaker 1: And now fear not ye righteous, when ye see see
- 17:00Speaker 1: the sinners growing strong and prospering in their ways, Be
- 17:03Speaker 1: not companions with them, but keep afar from their violence,
- 17:07Speaker 1: For ye shall become companions of the hosts of heaven.
- 17:11Speaker 1: And although ye sinners say all our sins shall not
- 17:14Speaker 1: be searched out and be written down, nevertheless they shall
- 17:18Speaker 1: write down all your sins every day. And now I
- 17:22Speaker 1: show unto you that light and darkness day and night
- 17:25Speaker 1: see all your sins. Be not godless in your hearts,
- 17:29Speaker 1: and lie not and alter not the words of uprightness,
- 17:33Speaker 1: nor charge with lying the words of the Holy Great One,
- 17:36Speaker 1: nor take account of your idols. For all your lying
- 17:40Speaker 1: and all your godlessness issue not in righteousness, but in
- 17:44Speaker 1: great sin. And now I know this mystery, that sinners
- 17:48Speaker 1: will alter and pervert the words of righteousness in many ways,
- 17:51Speaker 1: and will speak wicked words, and lie and practice great deceits,
- 17:56Speaker 1: and write books concerning their words. But when they write
- 17:59Speaker 1: down truthfully all my words in their languages, and do
- 18:03Speaker 1: not change or minish aught from my words, but write
- 18:06Speaker 1: them all down truthfully, all that I first testified concerning them,
- 18:11Speaker 1: then I know another mystery, that books will be given
- 18:14Speaker 1: to the righteous and the wise to become a cause
- 18:17Speaker 1: of joy and uprightness and much wisdom. And to them
- 18:20Speaker 1: shall the books be given, and they shall believe in
- 18:23Speaker 1: them and rejoice over them. And then shall all the
- 18:26Speaker 1: righteous who have learnt there from all the paths of
- 18:29Speaker 1: uprightness be recompensed. Chapter one hundred and five. God and
- 18:34Speaker 1: the Messiah to dwell with man Chapter one hundred and five.
- 18:38Speaker 1: In those days the Lord bid them to summon and
- 18:41Speaker 1: testify to the children of earth concerning their wisdom. Show
- 18:45Speaker 1: it unto them, for ye are their guides, and a
- 18:47Speaker 1: recompense over the whole earth, for I and my son
- 18:51Speaker 1: will be united with them forever in the paths of
- 18:54Speaker 1: uprightness in their lives, and ye shall have peace. Rejoice,
- 18:58Speaker 1: ye children of Uprightness. Amen. And of Section sixteen
