Transcript
- 0:01[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to the Mile High Huddle Podcast with your football freeze, Chad Jensen and Zach Kilmer.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_00]: Remember, Broncos Country is not a geographical location.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_00]: It's a state of being.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_04]: Welcome in everybody.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_04]: It is the Mile High Huddle Podcast.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_04]: I'm your host Chad Jensen and with me my fellow football priest.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_04]: You know him.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_04]: You love him.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_04]: Zach Kelverman Zach.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_04]: It's been a crazy couple of days here in the United States of America, but getting back to football.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_04]: First things first we got kind of got an update on Drake Greenlaw from Sean Peyton without really giving us an update.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_04]: What do you make of that situation?
- 0:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's a non-opted to an update.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_02]: He said that there's nothing to update you guys on.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_02]: There's still progress being made on paraphrasing, but that was it.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_02]: It was two sentences from Sean Payton.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_02]: That was yesterday when Green Law didn't practice.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_02]: Today, Chad Green Law did not practice.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_02]: He's not going to play on Sunday, boring, a miracle.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm just wondering now, is it going to be a lemon?
- 1:07[SPEAKER_02]: Is it going to be a Randy Gregory?
- 1:08[SPEAKER_02]: Or what are they going to get out of Green Law this season?
- 1:11[SPEAKER_04]: It seems to me, Zach, that it was maybe, this is a theory, guys, this is not an insider thing.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_04]: I'm saying, it seems to me that maybe the Broncos went into this going, hey, we can afford to roll without Drey the first two weeks.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_04]: So if he's not 100% 100% like a Hondo Hondo, let's hold him out till week three.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_04]: And I mean, the Broncos were, we got to be honest, with Justin Strenot in there,
- 1:41[SPEAKER_04]: But we got to keep in mind, Zach, it was a rookie quarterback as good as I think he's probably going to be in the league.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_04]: It was a rookie quarterback without a lot of weapons.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_04]: And this week, it's Daniel Jones, whether you want to buy into the resurgence thing or not, Zach.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_04]: The Broncos, I think, feel like they can get by one more week without drag green luck.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_02]: I'll buy that theory.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_02]: My own theory that I'm also increasingly buying chat is I think Greenlaw was hurt way worse than the team was letting on.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_02]: They blew it off and Sean Payton treated it like it was a minor strain or whatever.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_02]: He said they quad the second quad injury was unrelated to the first.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_02]: But the first one happened in April.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_02]: It is now September.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_02]: Greenlaw should be good to go.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_02]: So I think the injury was worse always from the outset than Sean Payton wanted to admit.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_04]: I think you're right.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_04]: The second one, that second quad, which happened whatever was echo week into camp, second, even.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it was the 31st.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_04]: The second padded practice is what I went now.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_04]: Some hello's real quick David young can good to see you one of our valued members Broncos defense is much better than the dolphins was VJ will not let Danny Dimes sit back and let him throw the ball string guy Can't so the oh you can't so the walnut huh this the Taylor found a use custom coa top.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, okay Oklahoma's impression awesome.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_04]: Did you have to email me some picks super stoked shout out to Let's see who else we got early Todd
- 3:03[SPEAKER_04]: Hello, great to see so many awesome members in the chat early.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it's all green.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_04]: Zach, on our end, it's all green and big earn.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_04]: What's up, buddy?
- 3:13[SPEAKER_04]: How are you?
- 3:13[SPEAKER_04]: Let's grab the pop of bear, David McRath in the house, kicking off super chat tonight because he is a Mount Rushmore member of the family says does David good evening.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_04]: Broncos Country, hashtag 13 and 4 plus plus plus plus plus.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_04]: God bless the USA, buccam times three.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_04]: M.H.H.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_04]: for life, Broncos for life, let's go, oh, yeah, yeah, we could definitely use that God bless the USA thing right now.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_04]: Some crazy stuff going on, and it's all so Zach, good opportunity as any to to reflect on it, being the 24 year anniversary of 9, 11.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_04]: Wow, time flies.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_04]: I think everybody can remember where they were when that tragedy, um, and the
- 3:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we will never ever forget the tragedy where we were Chad the aftermath of it.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_02]: I was in seventh grade.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_02]: I was in second period and the teacher came in.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_02]: Everyone has these stories.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_02]: Everyone knows where they were, but something I'll never forget.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_02]: And I can't believe it's been 24 years crazy.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_04]: Real quick, Todd, I'm going to grab your question that you put in there around 548 mountain time, but first I got a grab sandbam jumping in on super chat.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you, big job, great to see you, valued member and a bonafide, super star.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_04]: Saying, even in guys, I'm looking forward to the game on Sunday, the Broncos are the better team, but they need to prove it on Sunday.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_04]: And the offense needs to be way more efficient and overall.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_04]: better go Broncos.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_04]: No doubt about it, Zach.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_04]: I think everybody's pretty comfortable with the direction the defense is headed in the shape that particular unit has already taken, but like we talked about in our kind of loose predictions for the seasons that during the summer and the off season.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_04]: both of us high on the on Bonyx having himself a good second year, but we both said this team because it is a team sport.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_04]: It's the ultimate team sport football.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_04]: This team will go only as far as its quarterback will take them.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_04]: So if you're of the belief that Bonyx is about to build on what was a historic rookie campaign, then it's looking like this team's going to go a good, uh, goodly distance.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_04]: If you're having your doubts right now, you're feeling like, yeah, I was right.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_04]: I had my doubts.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_04]: But it's still way too early Zack bottom line though to Sam Bams point here.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_04]: The offense needs to just be better and more efficient.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_04]: And if they're even average, they're going to dominate opponents because of that defense.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_02]: Absolutely.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, another question, Sam, and thank you so much that we had coming into the season was We have these receivers on the roster.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_02]: You added Pat Bryant, but you also signed or acquired two new running backs are the Broncos going to be a past first or run first team What is that going to look like the operation with Sean Peyton calling plays and Sam and week one It looked like the Broncos were supremely past first and that didn't work out too well for them.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_02]: So your right absolutely they have to be better
- 6:05[SPEAKER_02]: more efficient and play into their strengths.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_02]: I want to see Sean Peyton run the crap out of the ball on Sunday
- 6:11[SPEAKER_04]: Great to see you Sam, thank you big dog.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_04]: We also have Ted Wonderlick, checking in a great friend and a bona fide superstar as well.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_04]: Appreciate the support big dog.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_04]: He says, happy week two Chad Zach and all if Denver beats Indy, it would be Sean Payton's first 2-in-0 start since 2013.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_04]: As long as the fast start equals wins, then it's fast.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_04]: Seasons always taste sweeter when they start 1-in-0.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_04]: 2-0 even sweeter hashtag mhh for like yeah i mean 2021 the Broncos started 3-0 remember that the last gas above the big fan georegeem's act um
- 6:52[SPEAKER_04]: didn't, uh, didn't pan out for him, but yeah, Sean Payton's teams have traditionally a habit of just kind of starting out a little bit slow, then they find their footing.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_04]: I don't really Zach, even if they, they, they win an indie expect that to be any different this year.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_04]: I think the offense is what's going to reflect that.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_04]: It's going to take a few weeks.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_04]: This offense will finally come together.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_04]: Kind of like you saw last year as soon as October hit.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's Sean Payton's talked about it repeatedly this off season is getting off to a fast restart after they started Owen two last season.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_02]: And there's a major major season making difference between starting two and oh and oh and two.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_02]: And that's why I'm not tripping about the week one game chat because this isn't college football style points do not matter.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_02]: They came out of that one and no, I will say,
- 7:37[SPEAKER_02]: into this matchup, the Broncos are in kind of a lose lose from a perception standpoint.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_02]: If they beat Indy, the critics are going to say, well, it's just Dandel Jones is just Indy.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_02]: If they lose to Indy, they're going to say, you lost a Dandel Jones.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_02]: I think the barometer for the Broncos season really starts from week three onward.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_04]: Well said, guys, lots more to get to.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_04]: We also have an awesome guest.

- 9:49[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, he's been in the chat before.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_04]: We've had him on the show before.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_04]: He also covers the Indianapolis Colts for our sister site on Colts on SI.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_04]: And he's a, he's a stud.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_04]: We love him.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_04]: He's a friend, Drake Wally in the House.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_03]: Not much, man.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_03]: I'm excited to be on the show.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_03]: This is a hell of a matchup coming up to one of no teams, a lot to prove for both squads, but yeah, man.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_03]: I definitely got a lot of respect, especially for Sean Payton, so I'm excited to talk some football here with you guys.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_04]: Dude, I watched the entire game, Colts Dolphins live while it was taken shape.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_04]: Let me ask you something.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_04]: Was there anything in that first game that genuinely surprised you as someone who covers the team, daily?
- 10:33[SPEAKER_03]: Two things, Daniel Jones's performance.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_03]: There was a lot of skepticism, especially with how bad he looked in New York.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_03]: And then I was one of those guys that was in the rumble belief that I personally think the giants franchise and they even are kind of showing it.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_03]: maybe Jackson Dart can now about, but that's a franchise that really has, has just been fumbling, if you will, since Eli Manning.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_03]: And I kind of thought, you know, Daniel Jones had two underneath Sachs absorbed over 69 starts.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_03]: That's not all on your quarterback.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_03]: That's also on the talent you put around him.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_03]: So I thought this was the best offensive unit talent scheme coaching that he's had.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_03]: But I did not expect him to go out there in place of clean in the other side of it was just
- 11:18[SPEAKER_03]: to a tug of phyllo was be fuddled by Lou and a remote scheme.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_03]: So those are the two things that absolutely stood out the most and I don't I can't remember the last time I've seen the cult's drum somebody by 25 points.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_02]: Well let's flip the conversation Drake for a second because as you know I'm sure in Broquist fans know Bo Nix did not look good in a week one he struggled as the
- 11:40[SPEAKER_02]: The defense with the cults, it seems like from what I read, two cornerbacks are in danger of not playing.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_02]: One is a concussion, one has a hamstring, I think.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_02]: So would that be the easiest way to attack the cult's defense on Sunday?
- 11:52[SPEAKER_02]: Or should the Brock was still trying to establish the run by any means possible?
- 11:55[SPEAKER_03]: Well, you know, I mean, that would be, you know, exact that would be the, the,
- 12:00[SPEAKER_03]: The go-to on paper, I mean, you're talking about Xavier and Howard, he's 32 years old, you're talking about the kind of black man just got traded through the team, doesn't know the scheme, neither one of these guys played more than about like 25, 30 snaps, but it's still the ground attack.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_03]: I fully expect Denver to turn to RJ Harvey, turn to JK Dobbins, use bone next legs, because while the dolphins only had 12 carriers, they had 78 yards, man, they've on a shane,
- 12:29[SPEAKER_03]: A Shane, he had 55 yards on seven carries, which even if you take away the 26 yard scamper, he saw a six carries for 29 yards.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, that's almost a five yards of tote.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_03]: The Colts did not show the best run defense.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_03]: So if I'm Sean Peyton, man, you know, in bone next one out there in struggle, you know, through a couple of picks, had a fun ball.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_03]: I'm turning to that ground attack, I'm daring indeed to stop me, and then if they can establish that against the cults, I'm in the floodgates open because guys like Sutton, guys like Franklin, even Evan Ingram, even though we didn't play a crazy game against the Titans, that's a guy that's dangerous as heck, especially when you put him out in the slot, so if I'm Sean Peyton, man, I'm looking at that ground attack, especially.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_04]: which by the way, Evan Ingraham returned to practice.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, he was a practice yesterday, but in a limited role, he's back in the saddle as a full participant today.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_04]: So he's dealing with a bit of a calf.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_04]: The Broncos also got back.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_04]: John Franklin Myers, who was a DNP yesterday, but still no drag green law.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, Nate Atkins, limited today.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_04]: The tight ends that I forgot to mention that he could look and like he could be coming back here pretty soon.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_04]: But Drake,
- 13:37[SPEAKER_04]: dude, I was also really impressed by the rookie first round pick, Tyler Warren, what I saw from him in the first game.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_04]: What, I mean, obviously we studied him quite a bit coming out as a prospect because he was, he was one of the common names mock to the Broncos, both Broncos and the Colts were, he's pretty, pretty common.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_04]: And so we got to know quite a lot about Warren as a prospect, but what do you make of his initial impact, week one, and do you think the Broncos
- 14:07[SPEAKER_04]: Broncos have traditionally struggled against athletic pass catching tight ends, let alone dudes who are athletic pass catchers who can also truck you.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I expected Tyler Warren to have a pretty big role.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_03]: Did I expect him to lead the team in targets?
- 14:24[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_03]: This is where I was just saying our podcast.
- 14:26[SPEAKER_03]: Did I expect him to lead the team in catches?
- 14:28[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_03]: Did I expect him to be a full pack?
- 14:32[SPEAKER_03]: No.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_03]: And I sure has held him expecting to go out there and pancake guys and put their backs flat on the turf.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, this is a guy that is an absolute problem.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_03]: And he will be a problem.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_03]: I would fully expect advanced chose to just take, try everything you can to take away Tyler Warren, because Daniel Jones really showed a propensity to pepper this guy with targets.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_03]: Guys like Josh Downs, two catches, 12 yards, guy like Alec Pierce, sure he had 36 yards, was also on one catch.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_03]: You know, Pitman did play really well, but she was soon past your tan, you know, reigning defensive player the year, he's going to be on Pitman quite a bit.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_03]: I think that the next factor here could be Tyler Warren.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_03]: Do I expect Denver to be able to stop him?
- 15:19[SPEAKER_03]: It's so early and it's one game and I personally, I'm not trying to finish golfing's fans out there, but that's not good.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_03]: That defense looks like they don't have a freaking clue what's going on.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_03]: They just have players only meeting after a week one.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_03]: That's never a good sign.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_03]: That's a team that is falling apart.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_03]: And I think that regime's going to fall apart after this year.
- 15:38[SPEAKER_03]: not taking away anything from the colds, but I fully expect Sean Payton to have 84 on his play sheet telling Vince Joseph like, look, two guys cannot kill us.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_03]: Jonathan Taylor and Tyler Warren, you need to get Daniel Jones to try to pepper someone else with TARDIS, because I will say, he'll cause problems for the Denver defense regardless of the talent if he's out there hauling in 5, 6, 7, 8 catches.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_02]: Trust me, there's plenty in Broncos Country Drake that wanted the team to draft Tyler Warren.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to be a tremendous player.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_02]: I was going to ask you, actually, your sleeper, or your X-factor, a new name, Tim, a lot of Broncos fans are familiar with Jonathan Taylor, obviously Daniel Jones, Pitman.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_02]: I think last year when we had you on you mentioned Alec Pierce, give us someone on the defensive side of the ball for the colds that can be an X-factor on Sunday's game.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_03]: You know, everyone talks about, everyone talks about Leia Tu Latu, of course, to Forest Buckner, guys like Grover Stewart, Samson Abacom, though, went out there and put on a show.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_03]: It was a pressure machine, he was causing, he was wreaking havoc in the backfield.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_03]: Right now, he is statistically, and on the field, he's been the best past, Russia.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_03]: If Leia to Latu doesn't drop back and Lua in a remote scheme and pick off to a tug of Iloa, you're talking about just Sam's never-com.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_03]: That's my X-factor, another guy that does stand out, that could be an X-factor and covering really, I would assume Evan Ingram is Joe Batchy.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_03]: He's more of a coverage line-backer and a remote brought him over from Cincinnati.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_03]: Um, had a lot of guys he brought over when he joined the Colts, but those are two guys that stand out the most to me because the thing is Denver's offense of line better than better than my amazes, they sure as heck have a better play collar than when the dolphins do.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_03]: And Sean Payton's a master.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_03]: Um, so I think that those two guys could be ex-factors that people aren't, you know, looking at that aren't the main stream names for for the Colts roster.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_04]: All right, Drake, one more for you, buddy.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_04]: And then we'll cut you loose.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_04]: Thanks again for making time for us tonight, Big Dog.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_04]: What's your prediction in this one?
- 17:44[SPEAKER_04]: Tell our listeners what you foresee here.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_04]: It doesn't have to be a score, but who's winning this ball game in Lucas oil stadium?
- 17:53[SPEAKER_03]: Uh, you know, to make it very, very brief, I like to do a little bit of a lead up defensive battle.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_03]: This is going to be a defensive battle.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_03]: If you're talking about Vance Joseph, you're talking about, uh, loon or remote, I do think, I do think, I do think and a remote scheme is going to confuse the crap out of bone exit times.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, yeah, Sean Payton's calling the shots, but he's not under center.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_03]: Um, I also think Vance Joseph scheme and given the fact that I'm looking at it right here and it almost blew my mind, gentlemen.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_03]: PFF has 28 freaking pressures from Denver on cam board.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely, that is a Zach Allen.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, Nick Benito, that is horrifying.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_03]: So look, if you're an offensive coach after that game, you're like, well, I hope the gown I never see that defense.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_03]: I would say it's going to be close, it's going to be a fight, it's going to be a dog fight, I still got to go Broncos, I think it's going to be 1714, it's going to be a really close game.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_03]: I think you're going to see mistakes and turnovers from next, you're going to see some mistakes and possible turnovers from Jones, that this is not about Peyton and this is not about Peyton and Stike, and this is far more about Anna Rumeau versus Vance Joseph, I just think Vance Joseph has a little bit more talent and they're going to bring me absolutely pain.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_04]: Drake real quick, instead of cutting you loose, some of our members have some questions.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_04]: You want to do a, you down for a rapid fire from the members and my down for rapid fire, of course, man.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_03]: Let's come on.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_04]: This is kind of apropos about nothing, but as a bona fide, Colts guy, Sam Van wants to know what your reaction was when Andrew luck said, I, yo, oh my gosh.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_03]: I was out of the Tiki bar, I'll never forget this day.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_03]: I was out of the Tiki bar with a couple of friends, and my then girlfriend, and I saw, I saw it break, and I was like, well, this is just a parody account, doing some stupid stuff, trying to screw up people's minds.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_03]: And then, of course, Adam Shefter reports it.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_03]: And then, of course, ESPN reports it, bleachial report reports it,
- 19:58[SPEAKER_03]: This is literally true and my first reaction was what is what's going to happen now, you know, and it's funny that you ask that because ever since then I can't recall a single time in NFL history when a general manager has had a franchise quarterback just gone and the cults have still not been able to pick up the quarterback pieces since luck did that.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_03]: You're hoping it's Jones, but that my reaction was utter disbelief.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_03]: I think I got over it more than something as this because some things are out there burning his jersey.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_03]: So yeah.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_04]: All right.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_04]: One more.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_04]: One more for you, bro.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_04]: This is from our our member's string guy.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_04]: How would you compare Daniel Jones and versus Baudenix as young quarterbacks, even though Daniel Jones, I mean, he's been in the leagues since 2019.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_04]: But rapid fire.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_03]: You know, I think that Daniel Jones, he has, he's bigger, he's got probably a little bit more of a cerebral aspect, like making the checks of the line of scrimmage just because of the experience below.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_03]: I, you know, bone nicks, I know that he's got the stats and stuff.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_03]: I do think that there is, is certain things that you can take advantage of with this kid.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_03]: I mean, the cold last season with a very static defense got him to throw three intersections.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_03]: had him kind of seeing different coverages of what was actually out on the field.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_03]: I think that there's a lot of similarities in their struggles.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_03]: I'm not going to lie, but I think when we're talking about the ceiling here, especially when you got Sean Payee, I think the bone next, I mean, especially last year, he balled out, looked really good.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_03]: So I think there's similarities there, but I think if we're talking about ceiling and potential, at least right now until we see what Joe is going to do, I think bone extends that on Joe's.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_04]: Guys, follow him on X at D Wallster Drake.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_04]: He is Drake Wally, the deputy editor of Indianapolis Coltson S.I.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_04]: and of course the horseshoe, Huddle, podcast, co-host.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_04]: Bro, thanks for coming on.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_04]: It's always a blast to talk with you.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_04]: Appreciate your insights and it'll be fun to see how it shakes out on Sunday.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, Chad, Zach, you guys are absolute legends.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to be a battle.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_03]: I hope I'm wrong about my prediction.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_03]: I hope they call it crap out of the Broncos.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_04]: I have a great rest of your week, yeah.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, guys.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_04]: All right, buddy, there it goes.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_04]: Drake Wally, awesome dude, awesome dude.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_04]: And you know, the thing I like about Drake is, as you heard at the end, there's that.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he wants the colds to win, but he didn't spin.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_04]: You want to hear something funny.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_04]: First of all, sorry.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_04]: We have no idea why the stream ended in the middle of our conversation with Drake from what we could tell.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_04]: Believe it or not, we just went like another 10 or 15 minutes answering superchats.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_04]: I can't even know anything.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_04]: And not even knowing the stream had ended because nobody had touched a button.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_04]: Something, some kind of a stream yard defect.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_04]: Don't know what it was.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_04]: Sorry guys.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_04]: Um, sorry about that.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_04]: And, uh,
- 22:51[SPEAKER_04]: I wish we could know why that happened because it's pretty easy if you've never done a stream yard before guys make no mistake.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_04]: They make it pretty hard to end a stream and pretty hard to to start a stream.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_04]: They want to make sure things don't end accidentally.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_04]: nobody touched anything in the first place, but even if we had, they make sure, are you sure you want to end the stream stuff like that?
- 23:15[SPEAKER_04]: So don't have any explanation for it, really apologize.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_04]: Don't know exactly where it cut off on Drake, exact, but we were in the process of answering Dale Superchats, Cody Superchats, rock Superchats, we're talking to George Fox on Facebook, and then all of a sudden I noticed
- 23:33[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, we haven't had a new comment at all in the chat since like whatever it was.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_04]: It'd been like 10 minutes and that's when we realized, wait, there's no time.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_04]: We're not live.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_04]: What the heck?
- 23:46[SPEAKER_04]: So really apologize, guys.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_04]: Sorry about that.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_02]: Zach, what are you going to do?
- 23:50[SPEAKER_02]: It's like you, like you say chat, charge it to the game streaming arts and giving us these issues for quite a while now.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_04]: But guys, we're not going anywhere.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_04]: We still got to grab those super chats and we still.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_04]: have the head to head.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_04]: So, sorry about that.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_04]: And let's move on.
- 24:07[SPEAKER_04]: First things first, though, we got to, uh, I can't flash it on the screen, but I'm just going to read it here.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_04]: Zach from D. Dub on YouTube, jumping in with two very generous super chats.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you again so much, Dale.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_04]: D. Dub, great to see you, brother.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_04]: Love you.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_04]: Appreciate you.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_04]: There's a reason your family
- 24:27[SPEAKER_04]: you know the drill, big dog, and you're a legend.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_04]: But his first super chat, Dale says, hello to the MHH faithful from the islands.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_04]: Game one, glad we didn't look at Lee on offense.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_04]: Hype had us winning the Super Bowl without playing a single down.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_04]: The team will get to work now, and I believe get better each week.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_04]: Bo looked sped up just like last year.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_04]: He will settle down, and then he goes on to say,
- 24:56[SPEAKER_04]: second super chat from DW.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_04]: Colts will be an early season challenge.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_04]: Hope to see more running success to be sure.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_04]: RJ makes the mouthwater after that taste.
- 25:07[SPEAKER_04]: We need to run the ball in order to dictate to the defense.
- 25:11[SPEAKER_04]: The ball will come out quickly and I'll take a win, even if it's three to nothing, Broncos for a life.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_04]: Zack, D-Dub, it's so crazy because we already spent like ten minutes talking about the things he got us going on here and thanking him and all that, and he didn't even hear it.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_04]: So it's really weird, kind of bizarre a world, but Dale, thank you so much, brother.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_04]: Zack, what do you make of his points here, especially about the kind of being glad it didn't look perfect week one offensively.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, thank you so much again, Dale, hopefully you're hearing it this time for real.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_02]: And I agree with you.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_02]: There's no such thing as style points in the NFL.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_02]: I'll try to repeat what I said before because I thought I was pretty poignant, but I don't care if they win three nothing like you said or three hundred nothing.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_02]: The Broncos came out of week one, a little humbled, humbled by a victory, not humbled by a loss or an upset to the Titans, but they a point victory, they did not play their best, and there's a lot they could glean from that, even Sean Payton Shad.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_02]: He said, I have to be better as a play caller, Bo Nix that I have to be better.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_02]: So that's the ideal scenario.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_02]: You pick up the win, you beat a team you're supposed to be, you're starting faster than last season, but you didn't play your best ball far from it.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_02]: So when the Brock was put it all together on offense and defense, it is going to be fun.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_04]: Man, it's kind of the price you pay.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_04]: You go from as a Broncos fan, just pray into the football gods that they're gonna win today.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_04]: To last year, they make the playoffs.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_04]: Now you have expectations.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_04]: And now it's not so much did they win, did they lose?
- 26:39[SPEAKER_04]: You expect the win and now you're judging them based on the style points.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_04]: And that's just kind of the way a team evolves and the way expectations evolve.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_04]: They did not meet the hype in week one, at least not offensively.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_04]: The defense, I think, is that certainly did.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_04]: But to Dale's other point, got to get that run game going.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, Sean Peyton, better late than never.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, can you imagine how that game may have shaken out if he didn't come out of the half going, got to run the ball.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_04]: RJ breaks off that 50 yarder.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_04]: and then you got JK going a little bit.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, JK was a little bit of a workhorse after not seeing really any action in the preseason, 16 carries, et cetera.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_04]: Not huge efficiency, although I think too much is getting made of he looks slow out there.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_04]: I don't really see that, but nevertheless,
- 27:27[SPEAKER_04]: You got to use these guys, Zach, on the road, Luka soil that that fan base, as we heard from Drake, they're fired up.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_04]: They're excited about this one and oh, start.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_04]: Got to run the ball.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_02]: And I'll believe that when I see it because Sean Peyton wrote run the ball on his play sheet last season.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_02]: He still didn't run the ball.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_02]: He abandoned the run in that game.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_02]: He has to.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_02]: I don't care how tempted he is by the colds having injuries in their secondary.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_02]: I don't care how tempted he is to make bonyx a thing as a passer.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_02]: He needs to stay to what's true and what's getting him to the dance and that's
- 27:57[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_04]: Exactly.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_04]: Also, D.W.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you again.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_04]: I feel really bad when someone goes out of their way to show such massive support for the channel like that.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_04]: And then all of a sudden, as soon as they basically lay down their super chats, we just wink off.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_04]: We're just gone.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_04]: I feel really bad about that.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_04]: But I'll be texting him so that he knows we did get to his his super.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you again,
- 28:25[SPEAKER_04]: We hope to see you next month at the meet and greet.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_04]: Let us know if that's happening for you, Big Dog.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_04]: Also, we had the rock checking in before the stream ended, Zach, to say good evening, Chad and Zach on the mile and huddle podcast, Gobow Broncos, see you back in the room, Broncos, thank you pal.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_04]: Also, Cody Dubb, who said 2713, let's go Denver with a $2 super chat.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_04]: So thank you for that as well, Cody and for being a member, both you and
- 28:53[SPEAKER_04]: uh... brace girdle in the house what's going on route late to the party been a messed up week as it has got blessed to fall in on nine eleven one yes indeed brother uh... never forget never forget route yeah
- 29:07[SPEAKER_02]: God bless the fallen and God bless America.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you, Rob.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_04]: Something screwed up because even now's that, you know, we've been streaming live again for about seven minutes.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_04]: There's four comments in the chat.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_04]: You know what I mean?
- 29:17[SPEAKER_04]: Like something's going on tonight.
- 29:20[SPEAKER_04]: Obviously by just killing our stream a little while back, but let alone something's going on.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_04]: So something's telling me here we better get to our head to heads or else we might not get the chance.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, so string guy giving us some context.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_04]: That was crazy.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_04]: I just saw Drake answer my question and the stream died.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_00]: Man.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_04]: Sorry about that guy, so we really have no idea how that happened.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_04]: It's never, ever happened before that I can recall Zach.
- 29:49[SPEAKER_04]: So, sorry about that guy's plan.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_04]: Good to see you.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_04]: He says, all I want to see is improvement on last week.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_04]: We building, state of being, that's right, dude.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_04]: You're a great hashtag, state of being member of this community.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_04]: All right, let's do Zach, I just kind of have a feeling here.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_04]: We're whistle and pass the graveyard.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_04]: or pardon me, the head to head, let me make sure this works.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_04]: Doing it this way on Firefox, throws me off a little.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_04]: There we go.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_04]: All right, guys, you know the drill on these.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm going to go off screen here, Zach, you'll have to tell me if anything weird happens.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, because I'm not in stream yard right now.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_04]: But as you can see here, this is the Broncos Colts comparison head to head.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_04]: We call it a green.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_04]: a designation means top 10 red bottom 10 and if it's black, it's somewhere in the middle, both teams one and oh, but you look over here, Zack at the cults.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_04]: I'm just doing a brief little scroll all green almost even their turnover differential plus three put some first in the league Broncos minus two puts them near the bottom.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_04]: They held onto the ball for crying out loud.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_04]: 38 minutes.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_04]: Now, that Miami performance for as bad as the Broncos were in that historic loss to the dolphins back in 2023.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_04]: Zach, that dolphins team coach by the same guy was nearly that bad in reverse or at basically they were the Broncos.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_04]: They were it was bad, man.
- 31:18[SPEAKER_04]: It looks like that's a a teen that's going to quickly jump to shark off the tracks all she wrote.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know,
- 31:27[SPEAKER_04]: man, they did look good.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_04]: And if you look at these offensive comparisons here, the cults, fourth in yards per game, ninth in yards per play, so they're being very productive and efficient, points 33, so that put put some at fourth, rushing their six, even better than the Broncos, net passing eighth, no picks, no fumbles lost, one sack allowed, and then third down,
- 31:57[SPEAKER_04]: at red zone 50% which is pretty solid, but that number is going to be skewed right now relative to rankings because it is based on only one game.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_04]: Meanwhile, you look at the Broncos 14 Zach and Yards 27th and Yards per play.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it was the polar opposite.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_04]: It was inefficient, right?
- 32:16[SPEAKER_04]: If these guys were efficient over here in week one,
- 32:19[SPEAKER_04]: Broncos are inefficient points 20 that puts in middle of the pack rushing that was the one saving grace offensively that puts them at seven passing though Barely outside the bottom of the bottom of the rankings two picks two fumbles four giveaways put some dead last Broncos by the way Zack
- 32:39[SPEAKER_04]: Only team to lose the turnover battle in week one and still win the game for what it's worth.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_04]: What do you make of these headdats?
- 32:47[SPEAKER_02]: Often.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_02]: I think we said this around this time last season.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of hard to judge these numbers and stats after one week or two weeks.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_02]: We need a little more sample size to have some sort of narrative to paint here.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_02]: But
- 32:59[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously Chad Daniel Jones in the colds.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_02]: They put up what was it 38 points or whatever was 3338.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_02]: Whatever.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_02]: They look good last week.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_02]: The Brock has offense did not look good last week.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_02]: I'm more interested in scrolling down and seeing all the green on the Brock goes defensive side.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_04]: We're we're we're getting to that right now.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_04]: It's time to go back.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_04]: There you go.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_04]: Check out the defense here.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_04]: But look, a lot of green on the other side with that new defensive coordinator they got.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_04]: So let's just look at the cults first, third in yards, second in point surrender.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_04]: But again, that's another skewed number because they did look good defensively.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_04]: But guys, the dolphins couldn't even lace up their shoes right.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it was bad.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_04]: Passing, look, a lot of green.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_04]: Broncos meanwhile are first in yards first in yards per play relinquishing a measly 2.42 yards points are fifth they did allow four field goals to the Titans rushing their 8th Passing the look at that Zach now you got to remember though that was a rookie quarterback making his first ever big boy start in the league No picks but they did have two fumble recoveries which ties him for the first
- 34:11[SPEAKER_04]: in the NFL because it's only been one game.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_04]: And then there's six acts led the NFL, 14% on third down that's first zero red zone percentage.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_04]: That's also first.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_04]: And that's the other thing you got to look out over here.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_04]: The dolphins got one red zone possession last week's Zach and they scored.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_04]: So it makes it look like just based on the figure here.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, they're giving up 100% touchdown rate.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_04]: that's where you got to remember the context of it's only one game.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_02]: I can't get over the 0.0 for the red zone percentage.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_02]: That's pretty great.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, it all looks good as it should because the broco's defense was that good in week one.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not leaning too much on the numbers here, Chad.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_02]: I will lean on the analysis of Drake, for example, when his prediction was, it's going to be a close game right down the middle.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be a defensive game, a hard fought game, and he sees the broco's maybe emerging victorious.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_02]: That's kind of where I'm at right now.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_04]: If you think back to that game last year between these two clubs granted, it was in Denver, but it was pretty dicey for the Broncos up until that Jonathan Taylor goal line fumble, which resulted in a turnover and a touchback.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_04]: And then in the second half, the Broncos, they use that as a nice little momentum swing, and then they just kind of peeled away from the
- 35:31[SPEAKER_04]: Technically, it wasn't a pick.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_04]: It was a fumble return for a touchdown.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_04]: But I digress here.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_04]: The Colts played the Broncos pretty tight and tell the first little crack in the facade and they just didn't show enough poise and allowed themselves to kind of come apart.
- 35:47[SPEAKER_04]: But maybe they learned from that.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_04]: In the same way, Zach, that I talk about some of the things the Broncos went up against late last season.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_04]: You hope they learned from it.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_04]: Like coming out on the wrong side versus the bangles when you forced them to overtime
- 36:01[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe Sean Payton learned.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, I should have gone for the two point conversion at the end of the fourth quarter little things like that.
- 36:06[SPEAKER_04]: You wonder what the cults may have learned from that matchup with the Broncos when they were on the losing in last year.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and also taking it back to last week, the the Colts are a much better coach team than the Titans are not to take anything away from Tennessee, but I'm a fan of Shane Stike in I'm a fan of their DC Lou and and a room I can't pronounce the last name whatever but there are a well coach team the Broncos are going to be on the road they don't have home field advantage they're going to have to be on their peas and queues this game shed in what again should be a slug vest down to the fourth quarter.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_04]: Again, it's one week, so let's not read too much into this stuff, but look at this, they didn't even punt last week, the cold, so they don't have a gross hunting average or in that hunting average or a punt return allowed average, right?
- 36:50[SPEAKER_04]: So.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_04]: But you look over here, Zach, the Broncos tied for seventh and they're net-punting.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_04]: Good to see that from Jeremy Krasha after some of the concerns we had in the summer.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_04]: But this punt return against, you gotta, they're both their coverage side of things, Zach, did not look good last week.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_04]: They gotta get that fixed against the Colts.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_04]: And the last thing I'll say, and then we'll sign off of the head to head is, the Broncos were, I was happy to see, weren't too penalized last week,
- 37:22[SPEAKER_04]: The cults, though, only had four.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_04]: So meanwhile, opponent penalties committed three, I don't know.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_04]: That doesn't seem like a statistic that makes any sense to me, but I digress Zach your thoughts here on these special teams rankings.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you nailed it.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_02]: I think the one thing we can take away is that the punning average is a lot better than it was in the preseason.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_04]: All right, guys.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_04]: So there's a little bit janky because of how we had to segue into it and our original stream just ending out of the blue, but that's the first head to head of the season and it's replete with one caveat after the, after another.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_04]: It's just one week's worth of data.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_04]: But it is 2025 data.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_04]: We're not going off like last weeks.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_04]: I guess technically it's the second head to head Zach, but it's the first one this this year with 2025 data.
- 38:18[SPEAKER_04]: So we'll see as we get further and further into the season.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_04]: Those head to heads will become more and more meaningful.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, let's see Cody Dubb don't cults have a rookie on that online.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_04]: As you heard from Drake, Zach.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_04]: seeing what the Broncos did that front seven with regard to past rush pressure and also they were good against the run.
- 38:42[SPEAKER_04]: We just went through that.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_04]: Their nervous, whether they had you know, four probal five probalers up front, that defense that front seven dude is sketchy if you're a coltsman right now.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_02]: 100% agreed.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_02]: I don't care how good Daniel Jones is looking.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_02]: I don't care how good the colts offense is playing.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_02]: I'll put this Broncos defense up against anyone
- 39:05[SPEAKER_04]: Scott, Mr. Producer, no rookies on the OL.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_04]: Two second-year players for the cults.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_04]: FYI, thank you, Mr. Producer.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_04]: Okay, guys.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_04]: So yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_04]: Something's going on though, because it's still very little, very few comments, a weird, weird, night on stream yard.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_04]: So Ralph, glad to hear it.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_04]: He says, I missed the comparisons.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_04]: Too bad it's irrelevant September.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 39:32[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if it's totally irrelevant, but it's just that you gotta keep the caveouts in mind when you're going through that data.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_04]: It's fun to see how teams measure up regardless, though, right?
- 39:43[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, Ronk right now, Vaughn Miller, playing for the commanders, totally.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_04]: Todd, I'm not sure what happened, was watching the show just stopped like it was over.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_04]: So weird, so weird.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_04]: Sorry about that, guys.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_04]: I wish we could have some kind of an explanation for you, but we don't, we have no idea how that happened.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_04]: We had to do it in two different streams, but I think we got to all the information and all the topics we needed to tonight.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_04]: Anything you think we may have missed amidst the kind of weird, janky stream stuff.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_02]: I think we nailed all the news, the injury report, a little preview of the game, the heads ahead.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_02]: We got to the supers, think we're good.

- 41:35[SPEAKER_04]: This question from Darrell on Facebook, what's the status of Nick Benito?
- 41:38[SPEAKER_04]: The status is just to find a paycheck dude.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, he was a beast week one, not on the injury report.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_04]: He's good to go.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe you were curious about Drake Greenlaws, what you meant?
- 41:50[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_04]: if you guys did a top of our original stream, we're trying to pull practice today, so that's good news, along with Nick or Evan Ingraham.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_04]: But Zach, something curious, we haven't talked about real quick, and then we'll get out of here.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_04]: Alex Singleton persists on the injury report, and when I first looked at it today, before I was paying attention to the pressers, I'm like, oh yeah, it's still that thumb.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_04]: Apparently he says that he refraxured or a second fracture in the same thumb, from the thumb that he fractured
- 42:24[SPEAKER_04]: And so his club is going to, that cast is going to remain on his hand for the next little bit still.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_02]: It shouldn't be an issue if anything.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_02]: It's a weapon for him to use against opposing players, but he's going to be on the on the report.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_02]: I think every week, Chad, we there with the thumb or neat, maybe knee soreness, rest day, whatever.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_02]: We're not concerned about singles in around here.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_04]: All right, guys.

- 43:01[SPEAKER_04]: So much love and respect, a mile high salute to the great Super Chat Superstars supporters and members helping us keep the lights on tonight.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I can't flash him because it's a separate stream here, but D-Dub thrown down two very generous Superchats tonight.
- 43:16[SPEAKER_04]: The wrong Cody Dub, Ted Wonderlich,
- 43:18[SPEAKER_04]: Sam Bam, the Papa Bear, David Mackelrath, and then of course, since we have been back on our second stream Ralph Brace Gertle, Cody Dubb, Eric Flynn, and again, Ron, a phenomenal member in Superstar.
