Mars Petcare is recalling specific cans of Pedigree High Protein Chopped Chicken & Duck dog food after discovering metal and plastic pieces may have contaminated the product — despite being meant to be destroyed, these cans somehow ended up back on shelves. No reported injuries yet, but ingesting foreign objects can be dangerous for pets. Two lot codes are affected: 6-1-3-C-3-K-K-C-F-C and 6-1-3-C-1-K-K-C-F-C.
