Lord, I pray that we'll quit playing games with you, Lord,

and we'll get serious about following after you've gone.

I pray that you'll speak loudly and boldly mightily to us today.

Lord, rescue the fire Brands out of the fire.

God, give us our worth. Give us our dignity.

Lord, I pray that you will help us to see that we are yours and

that we are called by Your name, and that we are marked with Your

And we stand on the truth. We build our entire lives upon

Lord, you are the most high God. We thank you, Lord, for giving

we have in the Bible and that you have placed upon us as the

Lord, heal our broken bodies. Heal us of the cancer.

Holy Spirit, give us discernment, convict us of the

And it's in Jesus Christ, holy and precious name that I pray,

Amen. Let's start in verse one, Jude,

the servant of Jesus Christ, brother of James to them that

are sanctified by God the Father and preserved in Jesus Christ

and called. So here is the book of Jude and

you need to understand this is Jesus Christ half brother, the

brother of James from the writer of the epistle.

James and Jude here doesn't call himself the half brother.

He doesn't try to even make any kind of family lineage to Jesus.

He just calls himself a bond servant, which is rightfully so.

Him, his brother James, their mother Mary, they all had to

come to the same saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as the

Lord. And I pray that's your story

today. I pray that Jesus Christ is not

just a religious figure. I pray that he's not just some

spiritual guru. I pray that he's not just some

historical figure for you. I pray that he is Lord.

He spoke everything into existence.

God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Ghost, three and one.

They said, let us make man in our image.

Go back and look at the book of Genesis and we will study that

together. But you will see that the Son

and the Father and the Spirit all were there in the beginning.

And here you can see that He is Lord.

And Jude had to come to that saving knowledge.

And he wants to start talking to the church and the elect.

He wants to start talking to us in the faith.

And he started to pin down a thought, but then he got taken

over and raptured by the Holy Ghost.

And he's going to go into a discourse about apostasy.

And it is where we go to to get our doctrine on many of the

obscure passages in the Bible. And we'll dive into that.

Let's go to verse 2. Mercy unto you and peace and
5:30
love be multiplied. Praise God, we need mercy.

We are so thankful that God is merciful.

And we don't get what we deserve because we all deserve hell, but

we get what Jesus Christ wrought for us on the cross of Christ as

he was hanging there. He one for us, our salvation.

He has the keys to death and hell and we need not be afraid

of death. Friends, He is merciful all the

way to the end, all the way until you take your last breath.

He is merciful and you will be ushered into His presence.

We praise God for that and peace.

We cannot even have peace. How do you go through this life

and experience all of the tragedies of this life and still

have peace? Without God Almighty, it is

impossible. Friends.

You'll be tossed to and fro like you see so many people and they

lose their footing. They lose their ground because

they do not have the rock to stand upon.

They do not have Jesus Christ as the chief cornerstone in their

life that they can keep coming back to no matter how incredibly

hard this life is. I pray that you have found this

mercy. I pray that you have found the
6:45
peace of God and love. We don't even know love without
6:49
God. God is love and He wants it to
6:52
all be multiplied in our lives. We cannot become complacent,

which is a lot of what this book is going to talk about is

complacency and just cruising through life and just refusing

to go deep with the Lord and mature in Christ.

And that is how so many people fall away because of offense

because this life didn't go the way that they wanted it to go

because God didn't act in the way that they thought that he

should. And it is because they were

immature in their faith friends. They refused to go deep with the
7:26
Lord and we are called as bond servants, as blood bought born

again believers to search the scriptures to be like the

Bereans, to actually put our nose to the book and actually

get in it and read it for ourselves and digest it for

ourselves. To be students of the word of

God and to go deep into mature in Christ Jesus.

Verse 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of

the common salvation, it was needful for me to write to you

and to exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the

faith which was once delivered unto the Saints.

So that is a loaded verse, and we'll try to pick it apart.

But the beloved is a connotation for the Church, for those who

are born again, for the believers, the ekklesia, the

called out ones. We are beloved of our Father and

Judas here, Jude, He wanted to sit down and he wanted to write

unto us about the common salvation.

There's only one way to the Father, and that is why it is

common. There is not many ways.

There is only one way, and his name is Jesus Christ.

That is the only way that we're going to make it there, and it's

for everybody. It's for every single person who

will place their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.

And he saw that it was needful to sit down and to pin these

words, and he wanted to exhort us to contend earnestly.

Friends, this is like an athlete on the mat.

This is not just laying down and taking it.

This is somebody who actually sees the worth in contending for

this faith and not just being blown over and not just being
9:27
duped and LED astray by counterfeit Christs and

counterfeit faiths and counterfeit religion.

Friends, we need to contend for it and the best way to be on
9:39
guard is to study the authentic document which is the Word of
9:45
God from Genesis to Revelation, nothing added and nothing
9:49
subtracted, the inerrant, infallible Word of God.

It is inspired, friends, and this is alive and active and we
9:56
hold it in our hands and it's reading and discerning us as we

open it up. This is how we contend for the

faith is by getting rooted and grounded in God's Word and

memorizing the Word of God and actually being students of the

Word of God. And then when the counterfeit

slides across the table, you'll be able to identify it and he's

talking about it was once delivered to the Saints.

So this Bible from Genesis to Revelation, it is finished.

There is no more needed inspired prophecies from God.

Everything from Revelation on till today.

It all has to go back and it all has to fit within the framework

of what has already been said. There is no new words for

mankind other than what has already been written, and that

is something that you need to understand.

There's a lot of false prophets and a lot of false teachers and

they want to sound super spiritual.

And so they try to Add all of these new revelations from God

and it is nothing more than just tickling the ears of the

curious. That's all it is friends, and we

need to be those that are saturated with the Word of God

and not those that are always looking for the new things and

looking for the bright and shiny things.

We need to be content with what God has already said, and then

anytime somebody says that they have a word from God, just

remember that it must line up with Scripture.

For. For there are certain men crept

in unawares who were before of old ordained to this
11:54
condemnation, ungodly men turning the grace of God into
11:59
less viciousness and denying the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus

Christ. So you can see here that these

men have crept in unaware. They sure look the part, but

they're the ravenous wolves in sheep's clothing, friends, and
12:16
that is who we need to be on guard for They sure have that
12:20
shiny bright smile. They sure have the suit and the

tie. They sure look the part.

And we buy it hook, line and sinker every single time.

But as time goes on, you start to hear as they unravel their
12:34
theology, as they unravel their doctrine, and they do not
12:38
believe in the Bible, they do not believe in Jesus Christ.

They are only there for their own selfish vanity and prophet
12:47
friends. And he said that it would be so.

And here is where the book of Jude takes a turn.

He started to write about the faith and he wanted us to

contend for it earnestly. And then all of a sudden, the

Holy Spirit hijacks Jude, and he wants us to be aware of

something that was so small in Jude's time, but it is enlarged

and magnified in our time. And the apostasy is here and
13:16
it's now, friends. The apostasy is on the rise.

And anyone who says that homosexuality is OK with God as
13:24
an apostate, friends. Anyone who says that abortion is
13:29
OK is an apostate. Friends, you need to understand
13:34
that this apostasy is on the rise.

When they try to push all of the garbage, the secular garbage,

just for the sake of being accepted and putting butts and
13:48
seats just for the sake of the bottom line, where they're just
13:53
trying to grow the monetary return on a church, you can see
13:58
that it is compromised and it is apostasy at its core.

And he told us US what to be on guard for.

When they deny the Trinity of the Lord as God, when they deny

that it is God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy

Ghost, three and one, we can know that they are apostate.

When you see these rainbow flags on the outside of a church, you

can know that they are apostate friends.

When they deny the inspired word of God, you can know that they

are apostate friends. There are many intelligence

indicators that will pop up the these red flags that we know to
14:35
tuck tail and to run and to get out while we still can.

These Colts that have sprang up friends and they deny that Jesus

Christ is God. This is apostasy and it is

rampant in our day and we need to be on guard and this is where
14:53
the Holy Spirit wants us as the ekklesia, the true called out

ones to know that He is going to deal with them, that we need not
15:02
be the ones who try to take vengeance.

But vengeance is gods, and He has appointed them to this
15:10
condemnation that is coming, and He knew that it would be so.

And we must guard ourselves against it.

Friends Five. I will therefore put you in
15:21
remembrance, though you once knew this, how the Lord, having
15:26
saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed
15:30
them that believed not. So look at how far they had
15:33
come. He had LED them out of Egypt.

They had walked across on dry land over the Red Sea.

They were in the wilderness, which should have been a two
15:42
week journey. They were out there for 40

years. They came to the cusp of it.

They were right on the brink of it.

And they missed the mark. They were not allowed to enter
15:55
in. And it, what does it even
15:57
matter, friends, if you run the race all the way to the end, but

you fall down right before the finish line.

And you can look at the life of Solomon and you can see that

it's easy to start a race, but it is harder to finish it.

And we are called to finish strong.

We are called to finish well, and do not grow weary in doing

good, do not grow lazy and complacent in doing the work of

an evangelist. 6 In the angels which kept not their first
16:35
estate, but left their own habitation, he has reserved in
16:41
everlasting chains under darkness, into the judgment of
16:45
the great day. So we know that the angelic were
16:49
the first creation and we know that based on Isaiah 14 and
16:54
Ezekiel 28, we know that Lucifer and 1/3 of the angels were cast

down to the earth. Friends.

We know that even in the days of Noah before the flood, we know

that the Nephilim were the sons of God and the daughters of men

married, and they had these giants in the land.

You see that they are all in chains of utter darkness, which
17:21
is where you saw when Jesus was walking the earth and the demons
17:26
saw him. They said that he, they did not
17:30
want to have to go to the judgement before their time.

They would rather go off into the pigs.

And that is what you need to understand is there is so much

more going on behind the scenes and a lot of it is our guesswork

and we're just trying to figure it out.

But we need to know what the Bible states plainly and

clearly. And what it is saying to us here

is that the angels are held in these chains of darkness and

gloom awaiting the great white throne where they will be dealt

with and they will be cast in to the lake of fire that will be
18:10
cast in to the judgment that God has awaiting for them.

And so that is what you need to understand.

That's what gets them shaking in their boots and trembling.

And is it is at the name of Jesus Christ that the darkness

runs and it flees and it hides because he has the power of

death and hell. And they do not want to have to
18:30
go to this prison in a wait their trial.

They would much rather roam the earth and do what they do.

But in the name of Jesus Christ, we cast them into their chains

of utter darkness, friends. And you can see it all wrapping
18:47
up in this spiritual realm. And you can see that God is
18:50
going to deal with them. He has a time appointed for
18:54
them. And they know that their time is
18:56
short. And Satan knows that his head
18:58
will be crushed. 7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities

about them in like manner giving themselves over to fornication
19:08
and going after strange flesh, and set forth an example,
19:12
suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Go back and look at whenever the Sodom and Gomorrah was being
19:20
described back in Genesis, it was a pleasant land, much like
19:24
the Garden of Eden, and they had much time on their hands.

And you can see that through that they became people who were
19:33
engaging in sodomy. And it is disgusting in God's
19:38
sight. It is an abomination in God's
19:40
sight. And you can see here that they
19:43
did not escape God's judgment. And so Jude wants us to know
19:47
about the Israelites that were led through the Red Sea and into
19:52
the wilderness and they did not reach the Promised land.

He wants us to know about the fallen angels that left their
19:59
first habitation and now. They're reserved in chains of

uttered darkness. He wants us to know about Sodom
20:06
and Gomorrah and how they were destroyed for rebelling against

God's perfect design. And you can see here that all of

the apostasy, this is where they are headed.

They are not going to make it into eternity with us because

they have chosen to go their own way.

They have chosen to rebel against a good and holy God who
20:32
loves and loves well. And they want to do their own
20:36
thing and they want their own freedom.

They want to break free from religion.

They want to break free from the the rules of the Bible and they

don't want to have to give any kind of answer to authority.

They don't like the conviction that they feel and so they throw
20:51
it all off and they go their own way to their own destruction.

Friends A likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the

flesh, despise dominion and speak evil of dignities.

So he's going to talk about the angelic realm and how we are not
21:12
to try to go up against these fallen angels in our own
21:16
strength. We will be defeated 10 times out
21:20
of 10 if we go in our own power, friends, but in the name of
21:24
Jesus Christ we are victorious and more than conquerors.

Bring that name upon your lips, friends.

It is the only name that is above all names.

We need not fear the demonic. They are subject to the name of

Jesus Christ. And you can see that these

filthy dreamers, these are the false prophets who propagate all

this prosperity garbage, who propagate nothing but health and

wealth, friends. And you can see that they defile

the flesh. This is homosexuality, the

strange flesh, friends. This is the lustful, disgusting

practices, friends of pedophilia.

This is the disgusting practices, friends, of all of
22:17
the carnal lusts that are outside of the marriage bed and

they're speaking evil of all the angelic and nine it says.

Yet Michael the Archangel went contending with the devil.

He disputed about the body of Moses.

He did not bring against him a railing accusation, but said the

Lord rebuke you. That's our weapon, friends.

You can see even the military Michael, the Messianic military

Michael here. He is not even trying to come up
22:54
against the devil outside of the power of Jesus Christ and he is

the Archangel. Friends, what an amazing thought

and how ridiculous does it sound for us as humans to try and go

up against the demonic and go up against the devil in our own

power? That's a grave mistake that no

one should make. You never open yourself up to

that, friends. And you can see this body of

Moses, and you can see that God did not want the people of

Israel to raise him up to an idol status, so he took the body
23:36
and buried it where no one would find it.

And you can also see how Moses appeared on the Mount of

Transfiguration in that body. And this is an amazing passage

that we could wrestle through for the rest of our lives. 10

But these speak evil of those things which they know not, but

what they know naturally as brute beasts.

In those things they corrupt themselves.

So you can see here that we need to understand that outside of

the power of Jesus Christ we will be overtaken.

But in Christ Jesus we are more than conquerors.

When we walk in our bridal identity with the covering of

Jesus Christ, then we do not need to fear all of the demons.

We do not need to fear all of the evil.

All we need to do is step into the bridal identity to be

covered and it is like a force field that is all around us at

all times. And we do not need to come out

from underneath that covering by willfully sinning, by going off

on these tangents alone and thinking that we can be

autonomous. That is how we open ourselves up

to all of the demons. 11 Woe unto them, for they have gone in

the way of Cain, and they ran greedily after the heir of

Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

So we have three different ideas here in one verse, and we're

going to break it down real quick.

They have gone the way of Cain. This is the apostate church.

They are siding with anger. They're siding with being

offended. Then he's talking about the air

of balaam for reward. These are those who are apostate

because they're only doing it for money.

Everything to them is all about profit and gain.

And then he's talking about the gainsaying of Korra.

This is the rebellion that broke out whenever people were

speaking evil of Moses, and they did not want to respect those in

authority over them, friends. And this is how you can mark out

and you, this is how you can tell who is apostate.

They're only there for money. They do not care about authority

and they do everything out of anger and malice and they are

offended because God is not the God that they needed him to be

or wanted him to be. 12 These are spots in your feast of

charity, when they are feasts, when they feast with you,

feeding themselves without fear. Clouds they are without water,

carried about of winds, trees whose fruit wherewith without
26:46
fruit twice dead, plucked up by the roots.

So you can see here that these are rocks in the field that make
26:54
you stumble. These are the people who have no
26:58
reverence, they have No Fear of God.

They think that this whole life is just about themselves.

It's just about manipulation. It's all about usurping

authority and lording over the sheeple.

And they do not actually care about God.

And even if they think that there is a God, they do not even

worry about it. They're only here for their own

selves, and it is to their own damnation.

Friends, this apostasy is sad at its core.

This apostasy is already been predicted and we do not need to

be surprised when we see it on the rise.

When people deny the infallibility and the inerrancy

of Scripture. When they have no reverence for

Jesus Christ in his name, When they have no reverence for the

name of God. When they have no respect for
27:57
their fellow man. And it's all about self and they

are living lives of sin. And it's all manifesting and

it's showing and revealing itself in the mainstream,

friends. And we can see it in so many
28:10
different congregations. And that is why people are

checking out in droves from religion and checking out in
28:17
droves from church and checking out in droves from anything that
28:22
is Judeo and Christian, which is the only one true away.

But they're checking out and going into all this new age

garbage and all these different faiths because of the apostasy

that they see within the church, friends.

And God said it would be so. So we should not be surprised.

And you can see that they're twice dead, plucked up by the

roots. You see so many who look the

part, but when you start listening to what they're

saying, they do not actually care anything about the Bible or

about God. 13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own

shame, wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of

darkness forever. So God is going to deal with

them. Friends, we don't need to be

those that take vengeance because God said He's going to

deal with them, but we need to keep ourselves from becoming

these people and we need to keep ourselves from fellowshipping

with these people. That is the mandate that's been

placed upon us. 14 and Enoch also the 7th from Adam

prophesied of these saying, behold, the Lord comes with 10

thousands of his Saints. That's what Jesus said to

Caiaphas on the night of his execution before they took him

and beat him. He told him that he would see

him coming on the clouds with the angels.

And we will be coming with him, friends, after we receive our

rewards at the Bema seat and we receive our eternal bodies,

And you can see here that this book of Enoch is referenced here

in the book of Jude. And you need to know that the

book of Enoch is not inspired and it is not something that we

need to be infatuated with. And most of the people who

become obsessive over these extra biblical writings, they

don't even actually know the word of God themselves.

They're not even willing to get in and study the authentic word

of God. And they just want to run after

all of these new prophecies. And the only writing in the Book

of Enoch that would be inspired is what Jude has put down here

as he was being driven by the Holy Spirit, as he was being led

by the Holy Spirit. Friends, you need to know that.

And so we do not need to go off on these tangents of trying to

study all the extra biblical garbage that is not inspired.

It is historical at best. 15 to execute judgment upon all, and

to convince all that are ungodly among them, of all their ungodly

deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard

speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

This blasphemy will be dealt with, friends.

The apostasy will be dealt with, friends.

The false teachers and the false prophets will be dealt with,

friends. And we need to know that God

already saw it coming before it ever came.

And He had Jude sit and pin it down for us so that we can be on

guard and so that we can make sure that we are studying the

authenticity of Scripture and not getting the counterfeit dupe

friends. And that is how you can know

what to believe is what does the word of God say?

But if you're not willing to get into the word of God yourself

and you just want to sit up underneath the teacher who you

respect, and you think a whole lot of they could lead you

astray easily because you don't actually know the word of God.

We are called to be students of the Word of God.

And this is for the learned man and for the fishermen alike. 16

They are murmurs, complainers, walking after their own lust,

and their mouth speaks great swelling words, having men's

persons and admiration because of advantage.

So people are looking up to them, and people are thinking so

highly of them, because they sure look the part, friends.

But if you pick apart their sermons, pick apart their words,

they are counter to what the word of God actually teaches.

They don't believe in the inspiration of the Bible.

They're trying to add things to it.

They're trying to take things out of it.

And you need to know it is blasphemy and it is apostasy.

And they are irreverent friends. 19 These be they who separate

themselves, sensual, having not the spirit.

So they're just operating out of their own carnal impulses.

They might even read the word. They might even have a doctrine.

They might even have a degree on the wall, but they care nothing

for God. It's all about sin and self, and
