- 1:48- Rocha.
- 1:49- Here's today's prayer focus,
- 1:51- dealing with why small acts of obedience matter
- 1:53- to God.
- 1:55- Scripture text comes from Luke sixteen ten and
- 1:58- reads, whoever can be trusted with very little
- 2:01- can also be trusted with much.
- 2:05- We often associate spiritual growth with big moments,
- 2:09- a major calling,
- 2:10- a dramatic breakthrough,
- 2:12- a life changing decision,
- 2:15- But much of Christian maturity develops through small
- 2:18- choices no one else sees.
- 2:21- Small acts of obedience can feel insignificant
- 2:24- because they rarely receive
- 2:26- recognition.
- 2:28- But God sees the quiet choices,
- 2:31- choosing patience,
- 2:33- keeping your word,
- 2:35- forgiving,
- 2:36- serving,
- 2:38- praying when no one else is watching.
- 2:41- Prayer helps us recognize everyday obedience as worship.
- 2:45- Instead of waiting for something dramatic,
- 2:48- we can ask,
- 2:49- Father, how can I honor you right here?
- 2:53- Faithfulness in small things trains our hearts for
- 2:56- greater responsibility.
- 3:00- That being said, let's pray.
- 3:04- Father God, help me become faithful in the
- 3:06- ordinary moments of my life.
- 3:09- Keep me from overlooking small opportunities to obey
- 3:11- you because they seem insignificant.
- 3:15- Let my worst decisions, relationships, and private choices
- 3:18- honor you.
- 3:19- Teach me that obedience isn't about
- 3:22- being unnoticed.
- 3:23- It's about becoming more like Christ, and I
- 3:26- will bless you in Jesus' name.
- 3:29- Look for one small opportunity today to obey
- 3:32- God.
- 3:33- Don't underestimate
- 3:35- what God can build through consistent faithfulness.
- 3:40- And if this was helpful to you,
- 3:42- share with someone who could use some encouragement
- 3:45- today.
