Sibiya 'dishonourably discharged' from SAPS
The South Africa Police Service (SAPS) on Monday confirmed that Lieutenant General Shadrack Sibiya has been dishonourably discharged, following a disciplinary hearing, during which his lawyer tendered Sibiya's resignation.
This comes as Sibiya faces a case of rape, sexual grooming and trafficking.
The SAPS said in a statement that Sibiya is no longer an employee with immediate effect.
